The Glenn Beck Program - Best of the Program ｜ Guests： Nick Di Paolo, John Ziegler & Steven Crowder ｜ 10⧸23⧸19

00:00:00.000 hey it's wednesday welcome to the big show i mean it's a really big show a super big show

00:00:04.780 this is uh you know everything else is downhill for the rest of the week but today's show is uh

00:00:11.660 is really a great one nick de paulo is on with us oh my you you really need to to hear you know

00:00:18.720 just the conversation just the part about the history of lynching uh because you can't say

00:00:23.460 that word now uh and by the way we debunk that also uh the frenchy frenchman uh mitt romney

00:00:29.920 what a coward uh what it's uh what's happening in the life of matt lauer john ziegler is on he just 0.67

00:00:38.160 sat down with him all day yesterday and he's like i think i think rowan farrow is the bad guy here 0.87

00:00:44.880 it's an unbelievable interview as is the interview with steven crowder all of it on today's big show

00:00:52.040 podcast you're listening to the best of the blend back program

00:01:03.980 you know another place that it's cold is uh in the dnc right now they're like ah

00:01:13.800 ah ah this could be mcgovern this could be like a massive massive loss really you think

00:01:23.080 do you think well you'd think if you were confident in a victory you wouldn't need impeachment

00:01:30.240 right if you thought that the american people would see things the same way you see them

00:01:36.160 why would you bother with all of this yeah you wouldn't you wouldn't do it you just win

00:01:40.180 you'd be like it doesn't matter he's gonna he's not gonna be around long anyway they have zero

00:01:46.340 confidence in a win which is amazing i mean like look for all the things there are things that we

00:01:51.220 really like that trump has done but it's not as if he's an invincible poll machine it's not like

00:01:57.640 you're looking at you know uh reagan 84 here no you're not it's not like you're looking at looking

00:02:03.760 looking at a guy who is wounded he's wounded and he is also a guy who a lot of people didn't like

00:02:11.660 yeah a lot of people didn't like a lot of people still don't like and and you haven't found anyone

00:02:18.460 on your side that can beat him they all that's incredible it seems like they do see the vulnerability

00:02:24.780 here and you know we've talked about the impeachment thing as a tactic when it comes to uh you know we go

00:02:32.620 back to clinton and people say well that didn't work eventually clinton leaves office in a very

00:02:39.720 popular state um but i think what what what a lot of people have not looked at here is that it's never

00:02:46.220 really been tested this way it's never really been tested impeachment before an election no it's always

00:02:52.800 been in the second term at least in modern times for sure after the person got re-elected right like

00:02:59.500 nixon you know had a landslide election for 48 or 49 states uh 49 i don't know i think it was i think

00:03:08.220 it was 49 um 49 states he wins it's an absolute landslide and he comes in and think of that moment

00:03:15.420 like is that moment even possible today in 49 states and people start looking at this information and

00:03:20.980 slowly the polls move and and they change and they flip from him being incredibly popular to being

00:03:26.420 incredibly unpopular and then he resigns before him i think if it wasn't for impeachment uh because

00:03:33.320 the polls strangely are moving in that direction if it wasn't for this impeachment process i think

00:03:38.520 he could have done 49 states um meaning 48 maybe 48 are you talking about trump trump i think come on

00:03:48.980 i don't see any i mean look you never know but i don't see any polling that would support that

00:03:53.900 you're not elizabeth warren head to head i mean like you're not gonna get there's there's 20 states

00:03:59.580 that are never gonna vote for a republican right now like they're never gonna vote for a republican

00:04:03.100 elizabeth warren you're gonna go in and win rhode island with donald trump you have you're gonna go

00:04:07.660 win you're not gonna win those states if you have okay all right so let's say let's say

00:04:11.580 let's say 40 40 states 35 states landslide in today's world landslide if you had elizabeth warren

00:04:23.940 yeah who is talking about yeah we're gonna get rid of the free market and yeah babies can be killed

00:04:30.200 after birth all of these things the the average the average democrat would look at that as you're

00:04:38.320 standing in the in the polling booth and you'd be like i just can't i just can't do it they are

00:04:46.900 they know this there's a why there's a group of people that you're i think you're right on and and

00:04:52.460 it's the group of people that changed the election for donald trump last time yes it's the people that

00:04:57.360 voted for barack obama no but still now it was to trump in 2016 it was still hillary clinton and

00:05:05.360 people didn't like her because she was corrupt they still saw her more in the vein of her or of 1.00

00:05:11.660 her husband that you know the clintons it was fine under the clintons you know what i mean they saw her

00:05:18.760 as corrupt and that's what they didn't like but they didn't see her as who she i think really is a 0.88

00:05:23.920 sololinskyite that wants you know wants to fundamentally change america these people are no

00:05:31.460 they're saying they're like yeah you know another thing i think we red white and blue who's sick of

00:05:38.020 that because i'm sick of it what do you say we have black and red is our flag red and yellow anyone

00:05:43.920 i've got a cool you ever see a hammer and a sickle intertwined i mean it's crazy no i know and i think

00:05:50.720 that that i do think the group is larger than last time with a person like elizabeth warren and it's

00:05:55.740 funny that how the democrats have quote unquote learned their lesson from last time hey let's run the

00:06:00.100 exact same candidate except more socialist yeah more overtly socialist than the last one so the

00:06:05.460 people in the middle can't bring themselves to vote for the person even if they don't like the way

00:06:11.160 things are going i mean this is what is being said in their press no it's true but it's that does not

00:06:17.040 mean you get to 49 states i mean like you are not that is not a borderline thing we're talking about

00:06:22.880 we are way too partisan uh at this point for that type of election um with the exception of some

00:06:30.780 massive event that we're not factoring in i mean you know we let's get rid of all health insurance

00:06:37.940 no private health insurance you look at those things and those things poll let's say they're

00:06:43.300 not popular by the way we should point out that medicare for all as a policy is not popular

00:06:47.180 um even among democrats it's not all that popular however uh there are still plenty of voters to win

00:06:54.580 20 states that like medicare for all and when you and you get it to medicare for all who want it it

00:07:01.300 winds up being relatively popular that is not something that i think is a sane policy certainly

00:07:06.440 not something that we can afford i don't know if anyone has an extra 30 40 trillion laying around if

00:07:11.420 you do let me know but it is a it is i think we are part the partisan divide is wide enough and the

00:07:19.660 voting splits in a lot of these states is wide enough that like you know if you had the best

00:07:24.200 democrat in the world some you know an incredible candidate and you had the worst republican in the

00:07:29.020 world like they're still not winning utah they're still not winning wyoming that's just not gonna happen

00:07:36.260 in a presidential election at this time these were you know reagan was the last one really who was

00:07:42.280 able to do this nixon before i mean i think you're right about that because we have proof mitt romney

00:07:47.060 wins in utah and he's probably one of the worst republicans i've ever seen he won with 61 of the vote

00:07:53.740 in that election yeah he's this guy is he's sad he's sad i feel sorry for mitt romney what is sad

00:08:03.220 about a guy who was pretty close to being president of the united states feeling the need to hide on

00:08:08.640 twitter yeah what is sad about that here's a guy here's a guy who said i could be president of the

00:08:15.300 united states and i'll stand up for what i what i believe really will ya here's a guy who ran bain

00:08:22.160 capital who has i don't know hundreds of millions of dollars it has a great family is loved in his state

00:08:32.060 one with 61 of the vote is a respected guy and he doesn't have the courage to voice his opinion on twitter 0.98

00:08:44.600 what a coward what a sad pathetic life i i don't understand it i mean look the things he would put on his 0.88

00:08:55.460 little account there were generally it's not like he was like uh but he also picked a french name 0.99

00:09:01.740 it's like french the french surrender to our ship there's no one on the ship it's just just

00:09:10.200 you know get a tugboat take one of our carriers over to france they'll surrender to the ship i mean

00:09:15.680 really it's pathetic it's right surrender is a great way he's surrendered essentially to twitter 0.81

00:09:20.560 oh my gosh he's embarrassed like he can't deal with the ramifications of his own opinions 0.98

00:09:26.140 this is a man who wanted to be president of the united states how sad and pathetic i you know 0.94

00:09:31.320 i just i feel sorry for him i feel sorry for him i feel sorry that he is so worried that he that he's

00:09:41.420 just going to be unpopular with somebody that he just can't really say what he believes i mean and

00:09:47.560 listen to what he does say so can you imagine how far out of the mainstream he really is if this is

00:09:55.940 his oh i'm i'm gonna say these things those things are not popular with conservatives is he just i mean

00:10:03.580 you look at the stuff he liked i mean it was you know certainly anti-trump pro-romney content but it

00:10:12.620 wasn't like he was you know i really like this content from elizabeth warren right i mean like

00:10:18.140 he's liking you know i don't know because i don't know who the guy is he's hiding behind

00:10:21.740 mr french frenchman right so i have no idea he may be a french spy i don't know but it's sad

00:10:28.280 imagine being a spy for france um let me just give you this one one quote here um there is speculation

00:10:37.160 i love this that hillary clinton uh may may run uh for the the the be the nominee of the party

00:10:47.800 those close to clinton speaking on the condition of amenity uh because they were not authorized to

00:10:53.580 comment on her behalf says that she has felt vindicated over the past few weeks after trump's

00:10:59.160 political difficulties and that sentiment was reinforced when the state department announced

00:11:03.420 its probe into email sent by her private server blah blah blah ultimately said one of the insiders

00:11:10.020 it's unlikely that she would run but put it this way it ain't zero and does she think about it all

00:11:17.800 the time i'm quoting and does she think about it all the time absolutely and quote hang on we have

00:11:26.200 pierre on the phone yes oh mr dick yes pierre yes i believe i heard you talking uh about hillary

00:11:39.080 clinton uh yes we were just talking about hillary if she does run for president what about vice president

00:11:46.000 mit romney would be perfect this is mit romney isn't it this is right okay thank you very much

00:11:55.380 thank you pierre the best of the glenn beck program

00:12:01.380 hey it's glenn and you're listening to the glenn beck program if you like what you're hearing on

00:12:11.940 this show make sure you check out pat gray unleashed it's available wherever you download your favorite

00:12:17.880 podcasts so i don't know if this is actually nick de paulo uh from nick dip.com uh or if it is his

00:12:28.120 his uh his french uh you know uh pseudo uh pseudonym here uh uh like mit romney i don't know do you have

00:12:38.600 one of those or because he was mit romney is so brave he's willing to hide behind a french alias on twitter

00:12:47.000 you know he's the biggest disappointment i actually believed in that stiff i did two years

00:12:54.000 ago i did too you know i saw a documentary i go he's a good family man yep he's very bright he destroyed

00:13:00.020 obama and those debates and you know even the second one i i think he won but but anyways uh but

00:13:08.440 now he's just it turns out he's just another backstabbing two-faced uh gop relic it's he really 0.72

00:13:16.060 he really disappointed me that's why i'm voting for a liz warren

00:13:18.880 okay so what do you think the odds are that hillary clinton is did you see the quote i gave it earlier

00:13:27.040 there was a quote from somebody on her staff that said look i'm i don't think this is going to happen

00:13:31.840 is it possible yes it does she think about it all the time absolutely that's a quote does she think 0.98

00:13:40.720 about it all the time is that news no it's not this power hungry she's the most disgusting person 1.00

00:13:49.120 on the planet she's a sellout she was part of the lib revolution and and became a corporate shill 1.00

00:13:54.320 she slept with a guy who was very important and that's how she got to the top there's nothing 0.92

00:13:58.760 authentic about her she discussed me of course she's thinking about it and uh she's out there

00:14:04.240 touting her book with her daughter they had 11 people i think at the uh barnes and noble in san

00:14:09.980 antonio uh i have so i have so much to say about uh you know who would buy her book i thought i was

00:14:17.740 reading i bought it did you yes i did i took a shotgun in my backyard hanging up on my shed yeah right

00:14:25.460 through the eyes oh i uh i i tell you i i i thought who is paying her for another book and

00:14:32.360 then i realized oh crap it's simon and schuster the people who i'm publishing my last book with

00:14:37.640 so i'll save my there glenn i'll save my commentary and uh for a while what's it like to write a book i

00:14:44.860 can't even push out a pamphlet it's a nightmare it's a nightmare i'm in the middle i'm in the middle of

00:14:50.340 the final thing and i just said to somebody you know i know authors and they all say i can't talk

00:14:55.700 to anybody for like six months i've got to do all my jobs and write the book i have been sequestered

00:15:03.660 for the last few days except for this trying to get uh trying to get the final part on the book but

00:15:09.720 it's it's really good this one is about socialism and and elizabeth warren and aoc and all that you know

00:15:16.880 a lot about that didn't you spend your honeymoon in cuba was that you no that wasn't strangely

00:15:21.160 strangely not so uh uh let's go through some of the uh news of the day uh first of all the lynching

00:15:28.400 thing oh jeez please i and i was watching your friend hillary there she does a story she does a 1.00

00:15:36.260 story on uh you know biden and all these democrats back in the day using the lynching term then her next

00:15:41.840 story is about alzheimer's they have a new test for it i say they give it to the democrat party

00:15:46.820 and biden and uh and may i say the media did you see do we have the thing we played a little while

00:15:53.060 ago the ali velger thing from cnn please play this for so nick can see that this is crazy

00:15:58.900 that they all have amnesia or alzheimer's and they can't remember that the reason why they made

00:16:08.380 bill clinton the first black president was because they said his uh impeachment

00:16:15.500 was a lynching a modern day lynching here's here is msnbc yesterday trying to teach people

00:16:24.600 what lynchings really are listen to this president trump invoked lynching today when talking about

00:16:31.600 the constitutionally protected impeachment inquiry he said quote all republicans must remember what

00:16:37.460 they are witnessing here a lynching let's be clear lynchings were terrorism plain and simple slaughter

00:16:44.280 used to testify to terrify african i can't i can't take it nick i can't take it thank you for educating

00:16:51.640 me msnbc i had no idea that lynching was terrorism i'm sick of calling here's the problem glenn we always

00:17:00.220 call out the double standards i know i can't take it anymore but we do nothing about it i know

00:17:04.840 they're double and triple standards but we do nothing so what are we gonna do what do you do

00:17:09.340 what do you suggest oh okay let's change it now it's a raping it does that make you feel bad it's

00:17:14.140 not a lynching it's a rape i mean this whole thing where you can't use terms you know from back in the

00:17:19.380 day because i'm afraid to buy cool whip because you can't use slavery terms and and and you know we are

00:17:27.400 we are getting okay so i agree with you i come in every day every day i come in and i'm like i don't

00:17:34.740 want to talk about the double standard because it's just but then you just look at the news and

00:17:39.800 you're like how how do these people sleep at night they don't they oh they sleep with each other from

00:17:47.380 cnn i just saw some of the project veritas apparently see that guy what's his name brusk

00:17:52.000 steve brusk oh my god he looks like he's in his late hundreds ugliest guy ever seen he's making moves

00:17:57.000 on 20 year olds what am i doing comedy for a guy like that um but what was what were we talking 0.95

00:18:04.540 about i'm sorry we were talking about i'm talk i'm tired of talking about the hypocrisy and the

00:18:09.280 double standards yeah but you but it's it's like it's so bad and so crazy yeah we we have to uh

00:18:17.580 you know we have to get tougher they can why are we always chasing them glenn why are we always chasing

00:18:24.240 them seriously i want this answer but you're a smart guy you're a zillionaire how why are we always

00:18:29.740 chasing them do they have better lawyers the democrats are they smarter why we i know they

00:18:34.740 control the media all the institutions the colleges why are we always chasing them uh i i will tell you

00:18:41.040 this this is why this is why i am i'm following on the chalkboard next week i'm going to do another

00:18:48.700 special because uh we have we have listened to them and we're going to present their argument but

00:18:56.760 i'm also going to show you what the media has done since our last chalkboard and i've been saying this

00:19:03.140 since the day we had it stop playing defense play offense you got them you have them on this and what

00:19:13.700 are we doing we're we're talking about quid pro quo there was no quo lots of quid no quo what are

00:19:21.320 you doing stop defending and go on the offense isn't that but isn't that because they control

00:19:28.160 the message still no i mean mainstream media the internet isn't isn't that one till we wrestle that

00:19:33.820 from them and that's going to take 40 50 years to turn this ship around i won't be around for it

00:19:39.640 yeah there's no there's it's not turning right that ship's not turning around so so how do we

00:19:43.820 get into a lifeboat i just want to throw that in real quick yeah i know i hear the the guys playing

00:19:49.540 in the band yeah i know so yeah every why is everybody in a tuxedo smoking cigars and saying 1.00

00:19:54.860 let's die like gentlemen no get in the get your ass in the boat oh i'd be throwing women overboard 1.00

00:20:00.040 i'd be punching kids in the face get out of the way go on the offensive uh but what do you what do 1.00

00:20:05.160 how do we answer this for me i asked the guy that runs a media research center when i was

00:20:09.980 filling in for dennis miller how did the liberals get control of the media in the first place

00:20:14.060 i i know there's a there's a theory out there when when after world war two uh no i'm not going to

00:20:19.360 bring that what no it was it was it was the progressive it was the progressive era it was

00:20:24.720 woodrow wilson uh colonel house rat i know colonel house uh edward bernays and the guy who ran cbs

00:20:33.460 uh and they uh i know this yeah i know this sounds like a conspiracy because when you say

00:20:41.000 these words everybody's like oh it's a conspiracy no it's out in the open um but they they put

00:20:47.400 together the uh what is that organization called stew that they put together remember

00:20:51.960 and double acp no no it's for the news all of the the eggheads get together

00:20:57.740 uh bloomberg no no a white house correspondence dinner shoot it's the conspiracy place that

00:21:03.140 everybody's like oh yeah because you're the info was no another one anyway killigan's island i'm

00:21:10.460 trying to remember what the name of it is i know somebody's in their car right now going dummy it's

00:21:14.400 this council of foreign relations oh so they read about them yeah they put that together uh and what

00:21:21.820 it was is we're going to we'll handpick the experts and they will meet with the press and 0.99

00:21:29.400 the experts will teach the press what the people are too stupid to understand and the press will then 0.97

00:21:35.260 go sell that to the people and do you know who i'm going to show you a little savvy i'm not just a 0.99

00:21:40.400 comic do you know who headed up the council on foreign relations mika brzezinski's old man 0.98

00:21:45.940 uh yeah i think he did yeah he did that scumbag and that's why she's in it

00:21:52.440 nick to follow from from nickdip.com if you have not seen his uh special uh there's no rating for it 0.80

00:22:04.420 uh it's it just goes right down to the lowest most foul but it's funny as hell uh you can find

00:22:15.920 it at nickdip.com nickdip.com so let me nick let me ask you this let me ask you this couple a couple

00:22:22.240 of stories here one uh the daily caller we asked every gop senator about impeachment and only seven

00:22:29.160 ruled it out and they're making it into a big deal that only seven ruled it out would you if you were

00:22:35.440 senator would you rule it out or you'd say i'd like to see the evidence i want to see you the case

00:22:41.360 or would you just rule it out i fight like the democrats i fight 30 i'd go i i rule it out i

00:22:47.080 wouldn't even think twice but this is all kabuki theater anyways glenn yeah let me ask you this okay

00:22:51.920 as from my understanding of impeachment if it passes in the house then the senate if there's an

00:22:57.820 impeachment trial becomes the jury yes this is how it works right you really think the republicans

00:23:03.380 are gonna convict trump and cut their own political throats and then no longer exist as a party

00:23:09.600 this is all but this is all symbolic on nancy pelosi's part and shift to cancers and blights 0.97

00:23:15.840 on this country it's all kabuki theater he's not going to get impeached just for that reason he's

00:23:21.920 actually i actually senate controls the the republicans control the senate what are we talking about here

00:23:27.140 wasting our time if it goes to the senate in a way i actually would like to see it go through

00:23:32.980 because they can call witnesses the other side and and if they're smart they turn this whole thing

00:23:39.080 around because the senate will the trump could make his case uh that is uh that i think is very very

00:23:48.260 clear that the media is just not covering bill o'reilly thinks i'm wrong on that because he said

00:23:53.420 nobody is gonna nobody's gonna watch it but i think people would i mean everybody watched the oj trial

00:23:59.820 everybody watched the impeachment of bill clinton i think they're gonna watch this yeah they also

00:24:05.440 watched american idol in record numbers and i'll be too sure i mean yeah yeah if this if there's

00:24:10.280 something on a and e that night but you're right uh about the kardashians it'll be uh neck and neck

00:24:16.420 that's why we're in this soup let me uh let me get your thoughts on this a new bill brought by a

00:24:21.560 massachusetts state legislature uh would make it a crime to maliciously call somebody excuse the

00:24:29.740 expression a bitch within the commonwealth that's the reason i moved out of massachusetts a couple 1.00

00:24:35.940 weeks ago i use that term a lot no you got that you got the three kids in connecticut who were 0.99

00:24:42.540 yelling racial slurs did you see that they got arrested yeah yelling racial so they got arrested

00:24:48.840 they were yelling so they were yelling the n-word uh in public but around a college campus and it

00:24:54.100 was fascinating the washington post wrote a whole story about it and at no point did they bring up

00:24:58.140 the first amendment question here can you get arrested for saying a word did you notice that

00:25:03.560 ali velchi what what he said on that msnbc thing the first thing he said was the constitutionally

00:25:10.140 protected impeachment it's the only time those guys ever talk about constitution oh yeah only time

00:25:15.940 only time well the other time they talk about it they say it's a living and breathing document

00:25:20.820 and i wish they i wish they felt that way about nine month old fetuses

00:25:24.680 that is a great joke ladies and gentlemen

00:25:27.620 that is a great line

00:25:33.000 what is a what's the life of a comedian really like my son wants to be a comedian

00:25:39.920 and uh he's not i suggest you find a methadone clinic real soon well it depends on what level

00:25:48.660 you're at it's it's uh it's fun when you're in your 20s you're on the road getting stds in every

00:25:54.800 city and you can laugh about it uh you know that part's fun then you hit your 30s and you're like

00:25:59.820 checking into the holiday express and and cleveland again for the eighth time and you're like do i really

00:26:05.060 want to see the bowling the bowling hall of fame again or the spam factory then you're like this

00:26:10.960 isn't that fun and then then you start calling escort services you know i called one call it was 0.75

00:26:15.960 called visiting angels i thought it was an escort service it turns out it's for all people health

00:26:19.540 care the nurse showed up with a bedpan we worked it into the fun but uh i i it's it's let me tell you

00:26:27.960 something you better be good at it because uh it can get pretty lonely out there it's when you're on

00:26:34.180 stage glenn it's the best thing in the world yeah uh when you come off stage like billy crystal

00:26:39.480 said mr saturday night all the guys want to be your friends all the girls over 400 pounds want to 0.96

00:26:44.140 sleep with you um it's it's great i haven't had a boss i haven't had a boss since 1988 and and you

00:26:52.440 know i used to be able to get up at noontime on a monday i was saying that till i met my manager

00:26:56.780 and we started doing this streaming show now now i keep the hours of a fisherman my alarm goes off at

00:27:01.560 5 a.m look at me i've aged 300 years and a lot so i know i'm actually only 20

00:27:07.260 tell your son to i mean if you got to get it out of your system you got to do it and if he goes up

00:27:17.200 and even two people laugh i'm telling you it's a drug i mean there's there can't be anything better

00:27:23.340 better than making people laugh and feel good and laugh hard that just i mean i can't imagine how

00:27:30.540 that's how they could not be addicting well the reason i did it somebody told me when i was young

00:27:35.840 if you can make a woman laugh you can make her do anything so that's why i get into it but i turned 0.99

00:27:40.340 i grew up and i loaded handgun has the same effect right but uh and uh in today's world that kind of

00:27:46.920 they're both kind of the same uh yes they are yeah so nick uh how's the special going we are at

00:27:54.320 about 920 000 views we only released this in may so i say we hit a million views by probably

00:28:01.340 thanksgiving uh breath of fresh air uh i'm the pioneer on this stuff folks i i hate to keep blowing

00:28:08.020 my own horn here but i was pushing these uh anti-pc things and doing this type of comedy

00:28:12.880 uh late 90s uh so i i've taken a beat and i've been i've been assaulted by a woman after a show

00:28:21.040 i i've been on the phone with the fbi uh twice this year uh about threats and uh i've put in my dues

00:28:27.860 anybody that comes out to my show it's not because they saw me on tv or because i'm famous it's because

00:28:32.720 of my comedy and uh i'm doing it the hard way but uh the special is a really it really is nick

00:28:40.400 apollo essence i i i let it fly and even billy burr said to me you know he's politically he's a little

00:28:46.580 opposite of me but he said this special is good for comedy so i think uh you know people are looking

00:28:51.940 for for something like this brought the fresh air it's on youtube and go to nickdip.com if you want

00:28:56.780 all right nickdip.com nick good talking to you brother you're the best thank you you bet

00:29:33.640 become one today and listen on your own time you can subscribe on itunes thanks we have john ziegler

00:29:39.740 on the program today now if you're a longtime listener of this program you may have heard him

00:29:45.020 in the past and uh he generally uh seems to make a lot of sense he generally uh well he's not popular

00:29:53.400 and he's not popular because he's always on the other side of things always uh and many times he's

00:30:02.180 right now he just spent the day yesterday with matt lauer and uh and i thought you know we should have

00:30:12.680 we should have john uh on the on the radio program because we haven't heard matt lauer's side of the

00:30:21.080 story but i am i'm concerned that john ziegler because there isn't anybody that's you know

00:30:28.660 rushing and saying hey john i was part of the armenian genocide uh please defend me i think he

00:30:37.520 you know he may ah he may end up being the most hated man in america welcome to the program john

00:30:44.740 ziegler wow i've had a lot of interesting intros on this program but that one takes the cake wow

00:30:49.680 well i mean you know you don't you did and like i said you're generally right i think the things that

00:30:57.160 you've said i'm just afraid of where you're gonna where you're gonna take this one well look uh here's

00:31:03.960 the the bottom line of this um you know matt lauer as you guys obviously know was one of the biggest

00:31:10.160 media stars in the world in november of 2017 got fired in the midst of the post harvey weinstein

00:31:16.620 me too situation has never done an interview of any kind since then and now with ronan farrow's new

00:31:23.460 book uh alleging that he raped an nbc former nbc producer named brooke nevels in uh in the at the

00:31:31.700 socio olympics in 2014 uh something that she never claimed before until uh by any evidence until she

00:31:38.760 spoke to ronan farrow which i don't think is coincidental um i'm you know matt lauer who i

00:31:45.360 have known in the past because i've done three major interviews with him on other issues um i uh

00:31:54.040 he called me uh about uh a week and a half ago and and and said can we talk i said sure and um you know

00:32:04.240 we've probably spoke about three hours on the phone partially about the the facts of uh the case

00:32:10.440 uh partially about negotiating a potential meeting and get together off the record interview uh and so 0.72

00:32:17.940 eventually uh we we did that and yesterday i this is so crazy only john ziggler would be dumb enough to

00:32:25.220 do this i i i took a red-eye flight from los angeles to new york drove out to the hamptons spent the entire 0.93

00:32:32.780 day with matt lauer and flew back also i didn't have to pay for a damn hotel room um so so um so 0.60

00:32:40.480 i'm a little a little tired right now because i'm back and i'm back in la oh good sleep deprivation

00:32:47.600 uh is like truth serum so so tell us what you're thinking john well well i can assure you that if

00:32:54.680 anybody uh if there was some way to have uh aired live video of the five and a half hours i spent

00:33:02.700 the grilling matt lauer uh yesterday uh in the hamptons and then that was somehow accessible to

00:33:09.340 the public though it would have been a super bowl rating oh i'm sure it would have um this was i have

00:33:15.480 done a lot of very high profile uh interviews in my career um and this was the most extraordinary

00:33:23.820 of its kind that i've that i've ever done um this is uh on multiple levels on a human level i'm talking

00:33:31.380 about just on a human level i mean this is a man who uh admits to making enormous mistakes uh and and

00:33:38.100 i grill him over those uh and by the way all this is in a column uh entitled after meeting with matt

00:33:46.300 lauer he has a compelling story but does he have a fair place to tell it which has just gone out on

00:33:52.720 media i thought it was going to go out a little earlier than it did but you know how these things

00:33:57.620 work in this business so that apparently is now out um and i urge people to read it we took a photo

00:34:04.780 together to prove that we had met that was one of the conditions of the of the meeting and uh i'll just

00:34:11.280 say it because um you know you this is the way i am i am convinced that the idea that he raped this

00:34:19.280 woman uh is absurd i mean i i it is and and i think that there are there are people who are very

00:34:27.220 very very close to the story and to her who know that the allegation is absurd and they have not been

00:34:36.200 willing to come forward publicly uh they've done so privately i would urge them to come forward

00:34:41.740 publicly and tell the real truth of what happened here but uh i i also think i said there's multiple

00:34:47.360 levels to this there's the human level there's the the allegation you know what actually happened and

00:34:52.120 then there's also the ronan farrow issue and i gotta tell you glenn uh you know i bought into the

00:34:57.400 whole ronan farrow thing back during harvey weinstein and then when he went after brett kavanaugh and what i

00:35:02.780 refer to as a an urban legend i started to go like so whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa what's going on here

00:35:09.340 and now after i've gotten deep into this matt lauer thing and when i read his two chapters on matt lauer

00:35:15.800 which are a freaking joke i mean they are a journal they are journalistic garbage this is page six meets 0.79

00:35:24.660 alex jones type stuff okay this is insanity what he was allowed to write and he's allowed to do it 0.98

00:35:32.300 because he's now a media darling who gets no scrutiny whatsoever he is a dangerous man glenn the the 0.86

00:35:41.420 idea that he is now the arbiter of of you know adult male female sexual relationships is just

00:35:49.180 unbelievable so because i thought this the kavanaugh thing was an interesting moment with ronan farrow

00:35:54.460 because he really tried to parlay his credibility with the weinstein thing into taking kavanaugh out

00:36:02.220 including embracing like the ninth string accusers of kavanaugh not even the main ones and he didn't

00:36:09.140 seem like the ones that avenatti was like okay this is ridiculous i mean he really he really went to

00:36:16.100 the well i thought it was the uh the moment where he jumped the shark yeah i i i thought and it was an

00:36:21.860 eye-opening moment i agree with you stew 100 that that's what he tried to do he tried to use his street

00:36:26.360 cred on weinstein to take out kavanaugh now at that point to me he was an activist but that doesn't

00:36:32.100 mean you're you're always wrong i mean maybe he just missed one maybe he just missed one on that

00:36:36.540 but now that i've gotten in the details on this uh like what have you like what did you find out

00:36:42.400 okay well well one of the more amazing things

00:36:45.960 is that you know um ronan farrow met with matt lauer just before publication and ronan farrow

00:36:54.440 acknowledged to matt and to another person who i spoke to this other person as well that um brooke

00:37:01.860 nevels uh this is this is these are ronan farrow's words and it came to her uh uh conclusion that

00:37:09.340 blauer had or quote unquote raped her quote in hindsight in hindsight in other words after 0.52

00:37:17.940 with many years after it happens after the firing where she never tells nbc anything about a rape

00:37:26.200 she tells nbc about a consensual affair on company property that's why matt lauer got fired and that's

00:37:34.640 there's been a lot of media smoke surrounding all of that but people don't need they need to

00:37:39.200 understand that that's how this all went down it was in the midst of that moral panic post weinstein

00:37:44.640 me too nbc needs a scout because they're being attacked on their their rejection of the ronan

00:37:51.480 farrow weinstein story and they decapitate matt lauer in 24 hours uh for what i believe was more

00:37:57.920 political purposes than anything else the rules changed and by the way lauer never even fought that

00:38:03.440 he never fought his contract being broken he he didn't do an interview about it because he felt

00:38:08.900 horrible about what he had done to his family and he didn't want to fight it he accepted

00:38:13.220 responsibility for his mistakes and he thought that was going to be the end of it and now he's being

00:38:18.060 accused of rape because as you guys know once the media decapitates you now they feel like they can

00:38:23.380 feed off your carcass oh yeah and and and so and so this is what's happened here farrow is promoting 0.83

00:38:29.600 what i believe in to be an activist position on on me too using matt lauer's carcass well now matt lauer's

00:38:37.920 like well wait a minute i gotta fight back and but he doesn't know how to do it because we don't

00:38:42.240 live in a world where there is any sense of media fairness on this issue especially and and so you

00:38:48.880 know and he's being bombarded with interview uh requests constantly and of course you know it's

00:38:54.420 perfectly logical that when that happens you go to john ziggler instead which well i will tell you

00:38:59.060 this john i mean i wouldn't go to the mainstream media i wouldn't i'd go to somebody like you i'd go

00:39:05.400 someplace where the guy has a reputation of listening to the other side because i've done

00:39:13.160 too many interviews and seen and matt is you know matt knows this too many interviews where the

00:39:20.360 interviewer is just coming in for a ratings hit or to increase their popularity or whatever they don't

00:39:28.020 actually care to listen they know what they're looking for and that's the way most people are

00:39:35.400 a hundred percent on this issue that's exactly what has happened and as far as you know me assessing his

00:39:41.480 credibility let me just tell you how um the uh how this went down i mean i am the person who told matt

00:39:50.920 lauer i don't know what percentage but a huge percentage of what is in ronan farrow's book because

00:39:57.640 he didn't even want to read it he's so disgusted by it so i'm i'm getting his reaction to in real time

00:40:04.400 real time to the allegations now if you've done a million interviews as well that's about as as

00:40:11.420 as credible as it gets in determining someone's uh you know whether or not their story makes sense

00:40:16.900 because this isn't a cover story he's coming to me with let me tell you my version of events and

00:40:21.500 i've got x y and z all nailed down he's literally reacting to me in real time to things he's never

00:40:28.360 heard before and has extraordinary detail extraordinary detail in his responses he didn't

00:40:36.240 uh sidestep any of my inquiries i mean you you guys know me i mean we spent five and a half hours

00:40:42.300 talking about this we weren't talking about why the yankees didn't make the world series okay i mean

00:40:46.160 this was this was as excruciating uh at five and a half hours as matt lauer could possibly have ever

00:40:52.680 experienced uh you know verbally in his life uh i mean there's it was emotional at times uh it was

00:40:59.460 extremely fact-based he was as open as i could have possibly imagined he has an incredibly compelling

00:41:07.060 story and this story goes way beyond matt lauer

00:41:11.200 this is the best of the glenn beck program

00:41:16.160 like listening to this podcast if you're not a subscriber become one now on itunes

00:41:31.700 and while you're there do us a favor and rate the show we welcome to the program

00:41:36.440 the host of louder with crowder steven crowder hey steven how are you

00:41:44.960 uh not good glenn not good what did you just not good i just go ahead you had me i was listening to

00:41:53.600 your advertisements your sponsors and wonderful you do a great job thanks i will say this glenn

00:41:58.700 you're probably one of the best guys i know when i used to watch uh on fox when you would use a

00:42:04.020 a prompter and i know the scandal prompter right because you're doing a full hour show it's really

00:42:07.960 hard to tell if something is written or you're off the cuff and that's really just the performance

00:42:13.060 artist in you it's it's a real skill and i envy it but i'm not doing well because um i was waiting

00:42:18.360 here while you're doing your sponsors and i found uh found myself reading a buzzfeed listicle i guess

00:42:22.900 they call them you know yeah i mean now now i just now i want to kill myself why what is it what 0.76

00:42:28.780 is the listicle about what did you find it doesn't matter it's the fact that it's buzzfeed

00:42:33.500 so i know it's national awareness day and i just think these are these are the these are the issues

00:42:40.480 that slide in between the cracks and if we were to look at you know the current uh suicide epidemic

00:42:45.080 it's a pandemic i i think there's some responsibility of buzzfeed articles i think buzzfeed articles lead to

00:42:50.440 mass suicide theory i think it's a pretty good theory myself uh it's why i don't go to buzzfeed

00:42:57.540 uh just you know what that's maybe that's why no one's talking about it yeah probably has a

00:43:02.500 it sounds like a relatively simple solution yeah i've got a listicle uh number one don't go there

00:43:07.240 and yeah uh all right so steven yesterday your show was really compelling uh and you were trending

00:43:15.420 uh on youtube as you were as you were taking youtube apart uh i love this about you because

00:43:23.040 they they don't want to hide you anymore because you're just exposing them tell it tell the audience

00:43:29.920 go ahead i think there's stuff between a rock and a hard place i know i want to make sure people

00:43:34.660 understand like with my channel and the monetization all that stuff is separate from from what we stumbled

00:43:39.520 across so for people who haven't found uh who haven't watched this video yet it's available at youtube

00:43:43.400 it's available at the blaze listen we were demonetized last summer and so when that started

00:43:48.060 happening that wasn't really what concerned us what concerned us was this all of a sudden drop off in

00:43:52.660 organic reach and search and we realized that we weren't you know we weren't showing up if you type

00:43:57.720 in steven crowder change my mind my stuff doesn't show up and we told people in the audience hundreds of

00:44:04.700 thousands of people responded or sent screenshots and some of them said we were lying saying no you show

00:44:08.800 up perfectly fine well why is there such a discrepancy in the search results well we realized that

00:44:13.260 if people were searching in the united states exclusively my content wouldn't show up but if

00:44:18.720 they switch their vpn you know effectively which is like a digital web kind of address to germany or

00:44:23.160 spain anywhere that's not the u.s it would show up so we said okay let's run some more tests on this

00:44:28.220 and we just happen to be running some tests because we've been going back and forth with youtube

00:44:32.380 on tulsi gabbard because everyone was talking about some you know everyone had some suspicions that

00:44:37.160 she's being kind of silenced by the dnc and uh what happened was immediately the night when hillary

00:44:43.540 clinton accused um tulsi gabbard of being a russian asset which by the way apparently i'm paid by the

00:44:49.060 russians to reveal this information as well that that was another that's really good you know steven

00:44:53.780 steven honestly honestly hang on just a sec i have to ask you this aside question as a comedian as a guy

00:44:59.620 who makes a lot of money writing comedy and delivering comedy this you couldn't have even

00:45:06.540 come up with a hillary clinton story that she is peddling now about her the election tulsi gabbard

00:45:12.620 i mean it's beyond reason right no i mean last week we just had a sketch with donald trump twitch

00:45:19.700 streaming uh minecraft and it's less absurd than the current story with hillary clinton right um yeah so so

00:45:26.620 so what happened was if you search tulsi gabbard anywhere not in the united states her channel

00:45:31.880 showed up and videos from her channel showed up she switched her vpn exclusively to the united states

00:45:36.860 she was nowhere to be found and then it switched right back when she stopped trending so effectively

00:45:43.720 she was not able to defend herself and keep in mind tulsi gabbard has a lawsuit a pending lawsuit

00:45:48.360 against google and youtube for shutting her out from google ads during the debate and you and i know this

00:45:53.800 glenn you have a window of opportunity with a debate especially if you're kind of seen in the

00:45:57.780 second tier candidate and you gain some momentum and that's what's happened with tulsi she's kind

00:46:01.940 of like the left uh carly fiorina you know she's done really well in the base impressed a lot of people

00:46:07.000 and then people can't find her when they search her so this is one of those it was so bizarre to me

00:46:12.020 youtube says well it's geographically based and we want to best serve our audience i would love for

00:46:17.660 youtube and google to answer me you anyone particularly their shareholders why they think it is best

00:46:23.780 serving the audience to not offer them up the channel of a sitting representative who is

00:46:29.580 currently running for president of the united states only in the united states it doesn't make

00:46:35.940 any sense uh we don't know exactly what's happening but we do know that we tested this for multiple

00:46:41.660 different dpns and the same results came up all the time okay so let me let me let me just break this

00:46:47.580 down for people in case you one more time in case you didn't you didn't get this tulsi gabbard was

00:46:54.380 trending outside of the united states where you would think the trend would be lower because why does

00:47:02.860 somebody in spain care about this right you know this thing with tulsi gabbard most americans don't

00:47:08.820 even know tulsi gabbard how do the you know how do the spanish why are they why is she trending there 0.99

00:47:14.660 okay not trending here until she stopped for spanish pardon me her defense she has that sort 1.00

00:47:21.820 of she could be confused for spanish in her in their defense she has that really very uh very 0.69

00:47:25.980 appealing generically like abercrombie ethnic look where you're like

00:47:28.840 they're polynesian i will say this i find her very attractive her and nikki haley very attractive but i

00:47:37.060 do have to correct you tulsi gabbard was trending in the united states on twitter and on facebook

00:47:42.240 so she was trending even in the united states but right search tulsi gabbard on youtube where she

00:47:47.700 has a channel by the way you didn't find tulsi gabbard content you found other content from people

00:47:54.140 uh accusing her or news outlets accusing her being a russian outlet so she was trending okay so wait a

00:47:58.780 minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute so her content and that includes one

00:48:02.620 of the things she was doing on her channel that was live right i i can't confirm that she was doing

00:48:08.840 something live at that moment but again it was her channel wasn't showing up nor videos from her

00:48:14.080 channel so she was trending and then if you're on if you go onto youtube from any country that's not

00:48:19.340 the united states and you search tulsi gabbard boom tulsi gabbard's direct uh channel and video show up

00:48:25.240 the only place where it was like a ghost she didn't show up at all was the united states do we have any idea

00:48:31.480 yet of what their defense is of of this steven well you know in our case we stumbled across it because

00:48:38.460 they've been doing this with change my mind like i don't know why if you type in even crowd or change

00:48:42.320 my mind someone i don't know why youtube would serve them you know a rebuttal video from an atheist

00:48:46.820 with two subscribers saying that i work for the russians but that's what happens usually when we

00:48:51.520 talk with youtube they offer three defenses right it's an algorithm okay well an algorithm is created

00:48:55.900 by a person right and here's the thing we've talked with youtube quite a bit and they actually

00:49:00.960 switched our channel recently to whatever it's called like an official verified preferred channel

00:49:05.140 when we complain so someone flipped the switch so that our channel shows up now which means it's

00:49:10.140 not an algorithm we are in a position to prove and say no no we spoke with high reps at youtube

00:49:15.260 they fixed our channel so that would be one defense that's not true that it's just an algorithm

00:49:19.620 another ultimately is someone who makes this call then they can say well the algorithms are

00:49:23.620 geographically based to best serve an audience again how does it best serve the american audience for

00:49:28.680 them to exclusively not find someone running for president of the united states right then they might try and

00:49:33.640 say well just some lower level employee but i've got to imagine because my name is i mean they've been

00:49:39.640 watching our our narcos parody and our our transgender breastfeeding hitler sketches at youtube headquarters

00:49:46.280 because they've talked with us about it they've talked with us about these sketches which to me it's

00:49:49.880 hysterical that in palo alto they're watching a lot of the kind of content i can just imagine the

00:49:54.560 counseling that has to take place i'm trying to imagine that the management of a channel of a sitting

00:50:00.660 presidential candidate who is currently suing the company wouldn't be passed off to some patsy for

00:50:05.980 the higher up and while we're talking about preferred channel status because that's a new change youtube

00:50:10.580 has made shouldn't all people running for president of the united states right now shouldn't there be a

00:50:16.540 meeting that all of them have official verified channel status why would Tulsi Gabbard not so they can

00:50:22.560 make those arguments i don't think it passes the sniff test and i don't think it passes the common sense

00:50:27.660 test most people will go well of course i assume that if google who by the way control 90 percent

00:50:33.520 of the search market globally google if we talk about you know the example i use is if jfk were not

00:50:40.480 able to get on nbc abc cbs back in the day they blacklisted him he would have never been the candidate

00:50:44.720 he would have never been president well google has at least that much power much more globally and

00:50:49.700 they're in more households and used by more americans than all tv networks combined and if they are not

00:50:56.220 acting truthfully or at least most americans would assume well if i'm going on to google or if i'm

00:51:00.280 going to youtube i just like Tulsi Gabbard and debate i want to see what she has to say i don't

00:51:04.480 think anyone in their right mind would ever assume that youtube would be preventing them from seeing

00:51:09.980 Tulsi Gabbard's content but that's the that's the problem with there's there's a bias by uh proactive

00:51:15.400 lies which we see but this is far more subversive because people never know it and and that really

00:51:21.560 really worries me this is the most powerful company in the history of the world and i mean that i mean

00:51:28.440 that you go to the west indian trading company you can look at the english empire no one has the

00:51:33.600 influence over the delivery of information right now that google youtube have maybe if you add up

00:51:39.840 facebook twitter and all of them tend to be lean significantly less i will tell you steven that

00:51:44.420 this is the first time i've said this uh recently a couple of times and uh and i and and maybe

00:51:50.200 somebody can correct me on this but this is the first time that i think that our founders

00:51:55.400 just couldn't even imagine and you know it's not like they could imagine that we weren't you know

00:52:01.160 we're going to go to the moon or something like that i mean that when they're putting the constitution

00:52:04.920 together they couldn't imagine that people in power in the government would cede their power to each

00:52:13.280 other and then to a corporation and a corporation would be bigger than any government and possibly

00:52:22.420 all governments of the world they just would have never seen that right and like you said i don't

00:52:29.160 want to go down that slippery slope of you know people say well the first amendment doesn't apply to

00:52:32.700 iphones no it applies to everything but in this case it's a little different because youtube and google

00:52:36.820 by the way have hosted political debates people send in their questions via youtube they have chosen

00:52:42.900 to engage in the political sphere right now and they have come out and said we are a public platform

00:52:49.240 they are not a publisher but if they are creating algorithms or if someone is manually removing search

00:52:55.100 results from a current presidential candidate that is not acting like a platform that is acting like

00:53:00.500 a publisher what we need is transparency what we need are answers and i want to be really clear

00:53:04.780 i can't stand most of tulsi gabbard's policies i you know and when people say well she's one of the 1.00

00:53:10.480 more reasonable ones that's because she's the only current democratic candidate who said there should

00:53:14.240 be some cutoff for abortion and it was 28 weeks that's seven months so she says let's stop abortion after 0.85

00:53:20.840 seven months how about that and they go russia russia russia russian plan so it's odd to me that google and

00:53:26.640 these tech companies like tulsi gabbard isn't far left enough it's it's it's mind-boggling and i i i think

00:53:33.900 it's super important because listen i think donald trump's going to win and of course i don't want

00:53:38.520 tulsi gabbard to be president of course i don't want bernie sanders to be president but i want it

00:53:42.500 to be an honest win i want the democrats to still get the candidate that they've chosen right donald

00:53:47.660 trump was not supported by donors that's a great example how did donald trump become president

00:53:51.760 people wanted him and he was using new media social media right it wasn't if you were to compare

00:53:57.320 the power that's wielded from big money be it the coke brothers or big oil to google and big tech

00:54:03.480 it's not even close because we have a president who don't have the backing of that big money he had

00:54:09.340 his own mediums on new media and that and they've come out and said we didn't do anything to stop

00:54:14.120 donald trump and now it looks like they're trying to stop tulsi gabbard i can't say it one with 100

00:54:20.000 percent fact but i can absolutely say that when this was trending if you search tulsi gabbard on youtube

00:54:25.160 you did not get tulsi gabbard and that is either an oversight there's such complete ineptitude that

00:54:31.600 they cannot be running 90 percent of search information that needs to be more transparency

00:54:36.400 or they need to answer for something more sinister going on stephen crowder from uh from louder with
