00:00:00.000 hey today's a really great show really great show very very funny we're uh we're talking about
00:00:05.600 cuamo again uh there was so much we didn't get to but what we did to is good eating we start the
00:00:11.720 show with rudy giuliani we also have franklin graham and then we end the show with something
00:00:18.540 really special about small businesses we talked to three or four people from all across the country
00:00:23.620 that are whose businesses are either shut or about to be shut they're in dire straits just
00:00:29.960 to hear their story we are raising money for the next 24 hours uh at glennbeckart.com everything
00:00:38.320 that is sold there if you want to buy something for christmas uh it's my artwork it's g clays they
00:00:44.660 are available uh 100 of the profits are going to help these small businesses also you can go to
00:00:51.040 gofundme.com slash glenn small business yeah you can just go to glennbeck.com and get all the details
00:00:57.620 every place you need to go uh to help out these businesses it's really important and they've
00:01:02.820 been through a lot so please help and we go through some of the crazy news of the day you're going to
00:01:09.040 not only hear about how congress congressional people have now sent a letter to joe biden urging him to
00:01:18.360 re-educate christians and uh shut down churches and of course the pennsylvania health director with
00:01:25.660 covid safety if you happen to be going to an orgy all on today's podcast
00:01:30.860 you're listening to the best of the glennbeck program
00:01:41.800 because it is the christmas season i'm going to call him by his full name rudolph
00:01:50.060 juliani is uh with us now hey rudy how are you i'm good glenn how are you i'm i'm i could be better
00:01:58.700 we could not have we could have you know uh donald trump serving another uh another term um real quick
00:02:05.720 i want to touch on this are will you guys are you continuing the investigation yes we are there's no
00:02:12.540 reason to stop it i mean there's so much to investigate so now what we're doing is we're we're
00:02:18.180 going to forensically examine the machines that took all this time to get them available to us
00:02:24.320 because all these secretaries of state are playing cover-up but we're going to start examining the
00:02:29.140 machines in arizona in maricopa county to see how similar they are to the machines in michigan that
00:02:37.340 turned out to be 62 percent inaccurate and i want i'd like you to note uh that the hearing yesterday
00:02:44.880 krebs mr krebs said oh he read that report and you know 62 percent clerical inaccuracies i mean you
00:02:52.460 know so what that means more of the vote was wrong than right yeah i know i and i read the report and
00:03:00.620 i read his testimony too he he he acted like he said it was nonsense i can't even i couldn't even
00:03:06.380 understand the report i read the report it's easy to understand it's very easy to understand the
00:03:11.180 machine the machine is like a computer you can change anytime you want yeah um it's not a counting
00:03:17.020 machine it's a calculating machine so is there a possibility of of a special counsel or anything
00:03:23.780 that can't be stopped there is a possibility of that and i think that uh once we get these
00:03:31.360 preliminary results results from arizona we can see whether one is justified i also think there's a
00:03:37.020 chance that if we could uncover uh 10 000 votes that would change in arizona the arizona legislature
00:03:45.140 might just take this into their own hands the people of arizona actually almost had a popular
00:03:50.340 rebellion state legislature was about to put this aside and they started demonstrations about 10 days
00:03:55.960 ago yeah all throughout arizona because they claim they know their election was stolen now think of
00:04:02.180 why they know their election was stolen he lost by 10 000 votes how many illegal immigrants voted in
00:04:10.440 arizona i know 100 000 200 000 of course it's stolen so 7 000 dead people voted that's pretty close to
00:04:17.940 stealing it right there rudy we have a real problem um if we don't trust the process if we lose trust in
00:04:27.760 this vote we have nothing left it is vital that you and others continue to find the facts and when
00:04:37.820 you have a buttoned up when you have a hunter biden uh uh computer you've got to release it and it's got to
00:04:47.580 be it this has to stop are you can are you convinced at all that we can trust the vote in georgia
00:04:53.760 no it's the same machine yeah they haven't changed it one bit the same illegal rules they're already
00:05:00.800 saying that there's more turnout now in georgia than there was for the general election
00:05:04.700 well there's no reason to believe that it'll be an honest vote the machines are not uh secure machines
00:05:13.920 but they don't have the signature verification donald trump anybody can sign anything anything that
00:05:19.700 they want and donald trump has been saying you've got to go out and vote i want to switch because i
00:05:25.300 know you are short on time let me um let me go to bill bar and uh and durham the special counsel
00:05:32.200 is i mean i'm really disappointed in bill bar i know everybody loves him but i'm very disappointed in
00:05:38.800 him um there can't be anyone who had more respect and more trust in bill bar than i did
00:05:45.300 uh i don't know what happened i really almost can't answer for it it's totally inexplicable to
00:05:50.500 me particularly since the hunter biden allegations yeah the joe biden allegations are two years old
00:05:58.460 glenn i know i know years old they're not new and he knew it and he wouldn't verify and he hid behind
00:06:06.400 well we just don't do that no no that's am i wrong rudy of course you're right i tried to make that
00:06:13.480 point well he could have first done this 18 months ago right well before the election i i tried to
00:06:19.860 argue to anybody i could it's better to do it now than wait until after the election then right do it
00:06:27.940 now let's get it over with maybe it's true maybe it's not true right it's true he can't run he's got
00:06:33.680 to go to jail if it is if it uh if it's not true well then he was wronged and he'll probably win
00:06:39.380 i think conservatives are are missing the point on this they're all saying oh look the press is
00:06:43.940 admitting it now no they're not they're saying this is a tax scandal this is a money laundering scandal
00:06:50.040 it is also on the same emails that are that are being you know touted as true now by the mainstream
00:06:59.100 media they leave out the big guy they leave out the uh my dad needs a key to the office all of that
00:07:06.500 stuff this implicates out the one they used to hate me for putting on television they actually
00:07:11.560 kept me off television for a long time because of this one text uh hunter texas father or his daughter
00:07:18.040 uh i had to always kick back half to pop for 30 years right that's the whole conspiracy 30 years of
00:07:27.060 kicking back so will there be a special counsel can the president appoint a special counsel and will he
00:07:33.360 before he leaves office well this is this is uh uh my advice as a citizen i can't tell you my advice
00:07:40.700 as a lawyer but my advice as a citizen is we we need to have a special counsel we have to get to the
00:07:46.560 bottom of this and don't make no mistake about it the uh the target of the investigation is joe biden
00:07:51.800 uh hunter is a small player in this hunter hunter is like uh you know one of the soldiers in the mafia
00:07:59.060 joe's like the head of the family and uh and there's plenty of evidence against joe you can't
00:08:05.940 one of the reasons they don't want to really open up the investigation if you open up the investigation
00:08:10.780 immediately joe goes to the top of the list of people that have to be considered for indictment right
00:08:16.920 immediately no no no uh competent investigator prosecutor wouldn't do a chart here it's a family
00:08:25.860 case gone on for 30 years i'll tell you who's on the top of that chart and there's evidence he's
00:08:31.160 been getting money for 30 years yeah um all right uh um let's talk about pardons for a second i know
00:08:39.860 we've got we've got to cut you loose here but um please tell the president he should pardon his family
00:08:46.760 um and i know it doesn't cover you know state things but they are going to kill that family
00:08:55.260 any way they possibly can until he says i'm never going to run again and i hope he just keeps stirring
00:09:02.940 it up um when he gets out he should also look into pardoning little wayne little wayne uh for um
00:09:11.660 uh for his support for donald trump he's now uh getting trouble oh my well i'm sure he's looking
00:09:20.440 at this very very carefully and that's something i really can't talk about but uh the president has
00:09:26.820 a big heart the president knows what nobody knows better what happened than the president i know
00:09:31.200 nobody knows the full magnitude of this obstruction of our government this could be the worst thing that's
00:09:37.900 ever happened internally in our government oh i think it is i think it is the civil war i don't
00:09:43.920 the civil war was out front you know we had a war yeah this is internal trying to yeah been going on for
00:09:50.460 a long time glenn this has been planned for a long time much longer than people think rudy keep fighting
00:09:57.220 and uh please please you too and uh please tell the president uh how grateful we are and uh we've never
00:10:06.720 seen anybody take bullets like him before in our name and we appreciate it thank you glenn you bet
00:10:13.440 thank you yeah merry christmas to you rudolph giuliani former mayor of new york city and uh host of
00:10:21.140 common sense that's a podcast and of course the attorney for um president donald trump
00:10:27.080 this is the best of the glenn beck program and we really want to thank you for listening
00:10:34.320 there is a new group calling themselves the secular democrats of america and they have sent a letter to
00:10:49.340 biden's team now when when you say i've never heard of the secular democrats of america it's okay i hadn't
00:10:59.920 heard of them either they are founded and backed by many congressional democrats so these are congressmen
00:11:09.700 and women that have written this 28 page document that i am posting right now at glennbeck.com so you
00:11:17.740 would i don't need the story on it i want i'm going to tell you the story i want you to actually see
00:11:24.720 from their own website restoring constitutional secularism and patriotic pluralism in the white
00:11:33.800 house this is their proposal in this proposal you're gonna love it it was presented by congressman
00:11:42.040 uh jamie raskin is that a guy or a girl check out i you know what gender is not doesn't you're
00:11:49.760 right i don't think about right jared huffman from california uh endorsed by uh congressman jerry
00:11:57.280 mcinerney of california and in this document you will see that it talks about uh how the incoming
00:12:05.720 biden administration must educate the american public particularly those who are identified as the
00:12:13.680 religious right because they need to keep their religious dogma to themselves they talk about a
00:12:23.400 a purge of social conservatives from all levels of government labeling them white nationalists
00:12:32.240 and of course everybody's ever popular conspiracy theorist the document states and i'm going to quote
00:12:40.740 the constant entanglement of religion and government promoted by the religious right and intensified by
00:12:48.080 the trump administration sweeps far beyond hot button culture war issues like abortion and contraception
00:12:55.080 it permeates every aspect of government policy health care public and private education foreign policy
00:13:04.000 tax policy tax policy environmental policy military policy and more all of which are going to be
00:13:11.160 addressed in this document oh that's fantastic now it it also has a whole a whole part of this document
00:13:19.280 whole section celebrating the response of covid19 and climate change and you know it's weird if you've
00:13:28.420 done any homework on the great reset it's like using the same language it's great it is great because it's calling you know
00:13:38.760 really for a new global economic and social order uh which is uh great it's it's a scientific uh
00:13:49.760 scientific authoritarian kind of government run by unelected technocrats which is woodrow wilson's dream
00:13:57.960 and how much do i love woodrow wilson you actually say i hate that guy every time you say his name well i think
00:14:05.560 everybody knows what you're just saying is a lie because i'm part of the in group the document chastises
00:14:12.940 president trump for not following all of the arbitrary constantly changing rules coming from the world
00:14:18.300 health organization saying quote policy decisions listen to this policy this is congressman
00:14:25.600 congress people congress units thank you policy decisions quoting that should be guided by science and
00:14:37.220 evidence on matters ranging from climate change to comprehensive sex education to federal funding for
00:14:44.420 stem cell research have been skewed or blocked entirely by powerful religious interest groups
00:14:51.560 and further undermined at every turn by the trump administration there is no example more grave than this
00:14:59.940 administration's lethal mishandling of the covid 19 global pandemic which has brought death to hundreds
00:15:08.240 of thousands of americans disregard for science and disdain for expertise has reached an all-time high
00:15:18.520 in this administration of magical thinkers and conspiracy theorists but these policy distortions did not
00:15:27.140 begin with the trump administration and will not end without deliberate action to restore rationalist
00:15:33.420 scientific and pragmatic policy methods and judgment we believe now that the time is right now and it is
00:15:42.180 right to make the case for reviving a jeffersonian approach to governance that favors reason and science and
00:15:50.320 here's a word you don't hear very often evidence and distangle disentangle government policy from the influence
00:16:00.160 of sectarian religious interests that have become dangerously entrenched at all levels of government
00:16:06.800 government oh we got to get them out of there we have got to get them out of there maybe maybe we can
00:16:13.980 everybody loves camp maybe we can send them to a camp the paper states still quoting we urge you not to
00:16:22.180 underestimate the institutional strength of what we refer to as interchangeability i think it is
00:16:29.160 in this document and it is the christian nationalist movement or the religious right that's an interesting
00:16:38.560 combo of things the religious right being an organization that you know the moral majority and
00:16:44.700 like hey we should not uh you know commit sins and things of that nature then christian nationalists
00:16:51.360 is you know that would be father coglin which was a social justice organization
00:16:57.640 hardcore republican activist right uh no no no but i mean like you know you're they're trying to get
00:17:04.540 you to associate the typical religious republican person with with a white nationalist yeah they're
00:17:13.900 racist they're nationalists uh they need to they need to go to camp they really do you remember anita dunn
00:17:24.080 the lizard lady okay now she's not a big fan of chairman mal
00:17:30.700 she was a character from the uh early seasons of the obama administration if you remember that
00:17:37.560 wonderful documentary uh and uh yes i do remember her making a speech and i do remember the main thing
00:17:42.900 i remember about her is not even what she said about mal i just remember her licking and smacking
00:17:47.260 throughout the entire speech so anyway um she was a big fan of mao and uh and chinese communism uh and
00:17:56.120 the chinese cultural revolution which you know just forced the chinese people to submit to his view
00:18:04.180 of life which was anti-freedom anti-god anti-religion uh you know anti-free market pretty much anti-people
00:18:14.100 after mal killed about anywhere estimated between 50 and 90 million people you know after 50 million
00:18:21.920 you just stop counting you're like i don't know does it matter anymore yes i just want to point out yes
00:18:28.920 it does matter so here are the authors uh representative uh jamie raskin son of marcus raskin
00:18:37.540 uh we got this tip by the way from trevor loudon who is i mean that guy's a warrior um marcus raskin
00:18:46.040 was the founder of the institute for policy studies which loudon says has connections to the soviets
00:18:51.720 back to the 1970s jamie raskin uh who is a congressman now has long connections to the democratic
00:18:59.160 socialists of america he's written for their publication uh he's uh what trevor would call a smart
00:19:06.780 communist one that's like oh no i'm not a marxist communist oh that was a those are dangerous
00:19:14.280 people no i'm just thinking you know i'm just out here trying to be pragmatic another author is
00:19:22.440 congressman jared huffman of california a member of the congressional progressive caucus uh which was
00:19:30.300 established by bernie sanders a socialist isn't that weird now in the document that you will find
00:19:37.660 at glennbeck.com right now it calls on biden to make the following changes now listen to these
00:19:43.860 eliminating government support for all crisis pregnancy centers and all abstinence only education programs
00:19:53.500 in school i'm a big fan of mal deny free speech and religious liberty to select americans based on
00:20:05.860 their religious beliefs how on earth can this be real it is i know but i just i just don't i don't
00:20:15.800 understand how it is 2020 and we're going into 2021 told you 2021 is going to be worse uh incentivize
00:20:25.180 states to strip parents of all non-medical exemptions to mandatory vaccinations for children in schools or
00:20:34.520 daycare centers here's the tried and true in god we trust has to be removed from currency
00:20:40.940 repeal the religious freedom restoration act rescind and replace the trump doj's federal
00:20:48.420 protections for religious liberty appoint an attorney general who will support governors listen to this
00:20:55.260 appoint an attorney general who will support governors who emergency covid19 executive orders
00:21:01.740 restrict gatherings at houses of worship now wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute you're an
00:21:08.380 anti-god organization i thought that was just for public health and safety for covid now all of a sudden
00:21:17.320 wait you want this as an anti-god you know what this is i realized this a few i don't know a couple months
00:21:24.420 ago i'm how long does it take to make a habit they say 30 days four weeks it's a habit so many of us
00:21:35.800 have been in the habit of going to church every sunday how many no yeah have that habit completely
00:21:45.600 broken in their family sometimes they still can't legally go right now right but even just because
00:21:52.840 of the break that happened earlier i think a lot of people got used to either going online or not doing
00:21:58.740 it at all and you know the online thing can fade a lot quicker than this fall like september or
00:22:05.300 something we were um going back to church our church was opening back up we were going back to church
00:22:10.460 because we had been we can watch it online we watch it you know every sunday as a family and uh so we
00:22:17.960 we do our own sacrament meeting and we watch it online we were going back to church we had a threat
00:22:24.660 that was manifesting itself around the church and sorry about that by the way yeah i know uh stay
00:22:32.000 away stay away look i did it was kind of a restraining order uh but anyway uh so we decided
00:22:39.520 that we are still gonna stay out until you know a certain date when when the threat kind of goes away
00:22:45.780 sure and i realized we are now almost a year without going every day we still do something on
00:22:56.560 sunday we still kind of you know tanya makes us dress up so we still get dressed for sunday you
00:23:03.440 know service but it's in the living room i don't want to go back i'm digging that yeah it's kind of nice
00:23:09.260 it's really nice but it's breaking our habit of doing something part of going to church at least
00:23:16.840 for me is doing something i don't want to do tony robert tony robbins it's just straight out of
00:23:26.620 sunday school i know it is uh i was a sunday school teacher for a long time strangely they said stop
00:23:31.580 teaching um but uh uh tony robbins told me he said i have a dip pool that's like i don't know he's so
00:23:41.900 tall it's probably like 18 feet deep uh and just about three feet by three feet something like that
00:23:47.840 he keeps it at 57 degrees i think he said every day i get up i walk outside i jump into the dip pool
00:23:59.500 get out and i start my day and i went well that didn't think i was going to put that on my list
00:24:06.120 of things i'm never going to do that's terrible yeah and he said no it's awful it's awful he said
00:24:13.400 but i tell my brain or i tell my body i'm in charge of you i'm going to i control you you don't control me
00:24:26.920 and he said it's just this mindset and for me i do not want to get up on a sunday morning and go to
00:24:35.460 church i don't but i do it because i tell my body and my mind you are a servant of the lord
00:24:46.500 do what he asks you to do yeah and it's important how many of us are out of that habit and once you
00:24:56.280 break that habit if you're somebody who is just like i just go because it's tradition
00:24:59.620 are you still going are you going to go back this is why they are shutting our churches down
00:25:07.720 they are doing it to intentionally destroy the church and i think this is evidence we could say that
00:25:17.120 but i believe this is evidence their goal is to destroy the church they want a doj ahead of the
00:25:25.940 doj to come out and be appointed that will support those governors who have draconian
00:25:32.520 uh edicts against going to church you can find this entire document at uh glennbeck.com
00:25:42.160 this is the best of the glennbeck program
00:25:46.800 viruses get weaker um when they are really strong because they kill the host and then they die and
00:26:03.580 only the weaker ones survive only the weakest virus survives because it could feast on its host and
00:26:10.840 it could spread to another one and it doesn't die out when the host dies we're killing the host right now
00:26:19.160 this virus is eating the western world's lunch and it's killing the host
00:26:30.100 over 300 000 americans have died already from covid19 we know because we see the numbers every single day
00:26:40.360 300 000 americans that means there are millions of americans who are going to spend their first holiday
00:26:51.480 season without a loved one
00:26:53.060 but one of the other parts of this devastation that nobody seems to care about
00:27:02.200 goes beyond the loss of human life it's the loss of one of the greatest most special aspects of our society
00:27:13.280 it's a small business the small businessman the small businessman's family
00:27:21.580 the children that are being taught in no uncertain terms now the government controls everything
00:27:30.200 and if you're an entrepreneur or a small business that's pretty risky
00:27:34.920 i don't know about you i grew up in a bakery
00:27:40.600 and i grew up in a small town mount fern in washington
00:27:44.180 it's still a small town
00:27:46.480 the carnation plant used to be down at the end of the street
00:27:50.540 the milk processing plant
00:27:52.360 and it still had the steam whistle at noon
00:27:55.660 uh every day
00:27:57.620 it it was a special place that had
00:28:02.100 mom and pop stores because everything back then was mom and pop
00:28:06.700 yes we had sears and jc pennies
00:28:09.740 but everything else was locally owned
00:28:13.420 and there were special places
00:28:16.960 the movie theater
00:28:19.480 wasn't an amc
00:28:21.520 it was the lincoln theater
00:28:23.760 it was an old silent movie theater
00:28:27.260 that was just this relic
00:28:30.400 and i remember seeing star wars there
00:28:32.800 how are they faring through this
00:28:39.740 it's still open
00:28:40.900 remember the candy shop or the ice cream parlor or the bakery or the bike shop or whatever it was
00:28:49.540 that we would visit
00:28:51.740 hot summer days we'd go down and
00:28:55.100 we'd dream or we'd
00:28:56.880 just want to cool down or whatever it was
00:28:59.500 that special restaurant you went to only on birthdays and that was the day your mom would say
00:29:05.820 okay you can have soda
00:29:08.000 every single one of these places
00:29:15.080 has an american with a story of resilience and bravery and courage behind it
00:29:21.080 and every single one of those places
00:29:23.780 is now at risk if it's not passed for them already
00:29:28.120 of never opening their doors ever again
00:29:32.540 we've lost 300,000 americans
00:29:39.300 but did you know has anybody talked to you that we
00:29:44.240 have lost 100,000 small businesses permanently
00:29:48.020 just in the first two months of this pandemic
00:29:52.620 it's been 10 months now
00:29:56.180 a million businesses have closed their doors
00:30:01.600 forever
00:30:02.800 millions of americans have poured everything into a dream
00:30:08.120 and now nothing
00:30:09.420 to show for it
00:30:10.880 if you're a small businessman
00:30:12.480 i know the pain
00:30:14.600 i know the pain of struggling
00:30:17.100 my dad lost his first business
00:30:19.260 there have been times here that we have
00:30:21.540 really gone where we where my wife and i would look at each other and we would cry ourselves to sleep and say it's just not worth it
00:30:30.700 it's what
00:30:31.200 it's just too much pain and too much misery because what about all the employees
00:30:37.120 entrepreneurs are proud people they built it from scratch
00:30:42.620 scratch their one-man shops do it myself brought myself up by the bootstraps these people are heroes
00:30:50.280 and nobody not not one of them really wants to ask for help and certainly not from the government
00:30:59.540 but the government is putting them out of business
00:31:02.480 some of them are now asking for help
00:31:07.780 others are saying their business is beyond saving
00:31:11.560 but
00:31:12.480 please just
00:31:14.540 tell my story because maybe it will save
00:31:17.360 another business
00:31:18.240 this hour i want
00:31:20.440 to
00:31:21.400 exercise
00:31:22.480 a muscle
00:31:24.280 i believe we are all god's
00:31:27.400 hands and feet and back
00:31:29.360 and fingers and
00:31:30.400 he uses us
00:31:32.160 this hour you're going to hear from four
00:31:37.340 small business owners around the nation
00:31:39.280 from boston to california
00:31:41.320 who all have the same
00:31:43.140 nightmare scenario
00:31:45.080 their stories are different
00:31:47.700 but the success of their business
00:31:50.020 all relies on the decisions of a common enemy
00:31:53.980 the city and state leaders who seem almost
00:31:57.520 adamant
00:31:58.320 that small business
00:31:59.980 is so important to communities around the nation
00:32:03.380 it's so important now to make sure they perish
00:32:07.080 i want you to listen to their words
00:32:11.580 i'm going to give you a way to donate
00:32:13.900 and it's going to be divided among small business
00:32:17.400 it's going to help some of these businesses
00:32:18.820 and then
00:32:19.500 hopefully we raise a month
00:32:21.240 enough and we're going to start helping small businesses all over the country
00:32:25.280 i want you to go to gofundme.com
00:32:28.460 slash
00:32:29.060 glensmallbusiness

00:32:34.820 also

00:32:38.660 all my covid and all
00:32:40.280 everything on my website at glennbeckart.com
00:32:43.220 every penny of it
00:32:45.960 that we raise today
00:32:47.500 will go to
00:32:48.820 this small business
00:32:51.080 effort
00:32:52.220 on gofundme
00:32:53.800 so please
00:32:56.080 if you're going to
00:32:57.300 do some shopping
00:32:58.380 you want to buy a gift for yourself
00:32:59.700 or somebody else
00:33:00.440 just at least look at those
00:33:02.420 i'm not making any money on it
00:33:03.900 just go to glennbeckart.com
00:33:07.080 now before we hear their stories
00:33:10.900 i want to tell you the story of
00:33:12.280 of one person
00:33:13.600 who couldn't
00:33:15.160 come on the radio today
00:33:16.760 her name is
00:33:21.120 rochelle
00:33:21.580 rotto
00:33:22.260 she was the owner of
00:33:24.720 boat barn bagels
00:33:26.660 in canyon city
00:33:27.800 that's in colorado
00:33:29.120 she was just awarded the best new business of the year
00:33:34.300 she is
00:33:36.420 fearless
00:33:37.340 i mean she would
00:33:39.300 whitewater
00:33:40.220 raft
00:33:40.760 skydive
00:33:42.120 camp out in the colorado mountains
00:33:44.640 where
00:33:45.020 i mean you could be eaten by a mountain lion
00:33:46.740 what are you crazy
00:33:48.060 national guard
00:33:50.480 two children
00:33:53.940 this
00:33:58.020 this best new business of the year
00:34:01.780 month after month after month
00:34:04.660 was getting worse and worse and worse
00:34:08.020 it was dying each day
00:34:10.080 just a little bit more cruel
00:34:12.320 sort of death for this business
00:34:14.140 and after months of crippling financial stress
00:34:18.060 watching her business die
00:34:19.700 rochelle took her own life
00:34:23.460 best new business
00:34:29.440 she did it
00:34:31.140 she was an explorer
00:34:33.380 after nine months
00:34:39.060 i can't do it anymore
00:34:41.080 sherry rochelle
00:34:46.820 addressed the canyon city colorado leaders
00:34:49.000 a week later
00:34:50.320 listen
00:34:50.680 the financial toll
00:34:52.680 to her
00:34:54.060 was huge
00:34:55.600 and it's my opinion
00:34:57.520 that she's a casualty of covid
00:34:59.800 she loves this town
00:35:01.580 she just couldn't take it anymore
00:35:04.760 she tried
00:35:06.260 she tried
00:35:07.080 she tried
00:35:07.780 she couldn't take it anymore
00:35:10.280 so
00:35:12.140 my very last thing is
00:35:14.380 there's probably people in this room
00:35:17.000 that have said
00:35:17.480 i can't take it anymore
00:35:18.680 i don't know that i can stand up to this anymore
00:35:23.080 business owners who
00:35:26.220 are at their last dollar
00:35:28.700 or their last
00:35:30.220 you know whatever
00:35:31.360 and i just want you to reach out
00:35:34.500 to others
00:35:35.860 that's what this is about
00:35:40.820 sherry wrote an article on facebook
00:35:45.100 if you happen to be watching the blaze
00:35:46.640 she's just a normal person
00:35:48.120 she's somebody
00:35:50.300 her mother is just somebody that you see every single day
00:35:54.700 she wrote
00:35:58.620 i'm trying to
00:35:59.220 live life
00:36:00.340 without my daughter in it
00:36:02.120 it's not possible
00:36:03.800 i see her everywhere
00:36:04.980 i'm still not able to articulate
00:36:07.900 how she
00:36:08.540 completed me as a mom
00:36:10.860 how every day she was woven into
00:36:13.800 my existence
00:36:14.880 always a part of my thoughts and plans
00:36:17.440 always wanting more time with her
00:36:19.440 i used to sing
00:36:21.540 you are my sunshine
00:36:23.160 even when she was an adult
00:36:26.500 she will forever be my sunshine
00:36:29.760 a gift from god
00:36:31.140 that blessed me beyond measure
00:36:33.640 the thriving
00:36:37.520 new business of the year
00:36:40.640 boat barn bagels
00:36:42.320 is gone
00:36:43.500 more importantly
00:36:46.000 rachel
00:36:46.880 is gone
00:36:47.920 forever
00:36:48.380 and we can either take her story
00:36:53.380 and fall into despair
00:36:55.320 because these stories are not uncommon
00:37:00.900 and they are happening in our own families
00:37:05.100 we can despair
00:37:11.260 or we can say
00:37:13.120 enough
00:37:13.980 enough
00:37:15.180 and not just stand and be mad
00:37:18.700 but instead decide
00:37:21.700 i may not even have the strength to stand
00:37:26.200 fdr
00:37:27.420 in a wheelchair
00:37:28.480 he had
00:37:29.320 he could not
00:37:30.640 stand
00:37:31.580 but he stood and gave speeches
00:37:33.680 he grabbed onto the podium
00:37:35.540 and he held himself up
00:37:38.180 even when he had
00:37:40.020 he didn't have the strength to stand
00:37:43.260 he stood
00:37:44.240 that's
00:37:45.400 who we are
00:37:46.440 and who we need to be
00:37:48.520 i want you to do two things today
00:37:53.180 i want you just to say
00:37:54.700 enough is enough
00:37:55.540 not going any further
00:37:57.680 not doing this
00:37:58.740 no
00:38:00.180 i want you
00:38:03.100 if you're a small business person
00:38:04.500 no
00:38:06.220 no more
00:38:07.240 if you are a
00:38:10.740 a person that can go
00:38:12.620 and and frequent a small business
00:38:14.600 do it
00:38:15.560 and also just listen
00:38:18.660 and if you have even a dollar
00:38:20.600 one dollar
00:38:21.380 i want you to go to
00:38:23.500 glennbeck.com
00:38:24.580 follow the links to the gofundme page
00:38:26.880 and help these businesses
00:38:29.120 i ask you to stand with me
00:38:31.520 to show
00:38:33.440 that even though the government
00:38:35.100 may have abandoned the small business men
00:38:37.280 and the entrepreneur
00:38:38.340 we
00:38:39.320 know
00:38:40.020 who they are
00:38:41.000 and how valuable they are
00:38:42.720 and we will not
00:38:44.960 abandon them
00:38:46.040 so i want to introduce you to
00:38:47.880 katherine hill
00:38:48.920 uh
00:38:49.980 she was born in hanford california
00:38:52.380 in 1979
00:38:53.900 so now i feel like
00:38:55.260 uh
00:38:56.100 father time
00:38:57.220 she grew up
00:38:58.800 an animal lover
00:38:59.660 and an animal advocate
00:39:01.220 um
00:39:01.940 she rescued animals
00:39:03.560 she's like my daughter
00:39:04.720 uh
00:39:05.780 and at the age of 13
00:39:07.000 she thought i'm going to become
00:39:08.620 a vegetarian
00:39:09.280 and she's still a vegetarian
00:39:11.180 she has uh
00:39:13.560 two kids
00:39:14.400 two grandchildren
00:39:16.800 katherine opened up
00:39:20.780 a neighborhood bar
00:39:21.600 called miss kitty's lounge
00:39:22.880 in clovis california
00:39:24.480 because
00:39:25.800 she likes to save cats
00:39:27.660 the rent was paid on time
00:39:29.800 every single month
00:39:31.080 until the pandemic struck
00:39:32.420 in august
00:39:35.120 of 2019
00:39:36.180 she was also diagnosed
00:39:37.520 with stage 3 breast cancer
00:39:39.540 she underwent
00:39:41.160 six months of chemotherapy
00:39:42.540 15 rounds of radiation
00:39:44.500 radical mastectomy
00:39:46.340 she was already
00:39:48.920 through a tough journey
00:39:49.940 and then covid
00:39:52.280 and she managed
00:39:54.500 through all of this
00:39:55.380 to be able to keep
00:39:56.480 her lounge
00:39:57.380 open
00:39:57.900 but then
00:39:58.920 something happened
00:40:00.420 uh
00:40:01.880 she couldn't make her rent
00:40:02.960 and she tried to work
00:40:04.200 with the landlord
00:40:05.200 but
00:40:05.780 he wouldn't work with her
00:40:07.120 she's on with us
00:40:08.640 right now
00:40:09.980 hi catherine
00:40:10.840 catherine are you there
00:40:14.020 hi
00:40:14.900 yes
00:40:15.220 i just love your attitude
00:40:18.300 because
00:40:18.860 you were one of the people
00:40:20.480 who said
00:40:20.900 look i i think i'm beyond help
00:40:22.920 uh
00:40:23.860 but you needed your story
00:40:25.360 to get out
00:40:26.180 um
00:40:27.680 tell me
00:40:28.480 tell me what is
00:40:30.140 important for people to hear
00:40:31.640 um
00:40:33.360 i feel like what's important
00:40:34.760 for people to hear
00:40:35.760 is that
00:40:36.480 there is
00:40:38.060 so many businesses
00:40:39.640 that have
00:40:40.200 fell through the cracks
00:40:41.800 because
00:40:42.440 the government
00:40:43.920 pbp
00:40:45.260 doesn't work
00:40:46.200 for them
00:40:46.720 because
00:40:47.220 we were shut down
00:40:49.020 and we have no
00:40:50.120 employees
00:40:50.820 and our biggest
00:40:52.540 expense
00:40:53.320 is our rent
00:40:54.660 and
00:40:56.400 if you don't have
00:40:57.360 a good landlord
00:40:58.820 that's gonna work
00:41:00.480 with you
00:41:01.140 they're the ones
00:41:02.920 that are now
00:41:03.360 putting you
00:41:04.080 out of business
00:41:04.940 like mine
00:41:06.140 um
00:41:07.520 sam lucido
00:41:08.320 he refuses
00:41:09.840 to work with us
00:41:11.360 and
00:41:12.560 um
00:41:13.400 not only
00:41:14.440 during
00:41:15.320 the
00:41:16.200 um
00:41:17.480 beginning of
00:41:19.460 the pandemic
00:41:20.400 when there was
00:41:22.020 a moratorium
00:41:23.320 on evictions
00:41:24.780 right
00:41:25.400 they still
00:41:26.280 were
00:41:26.900 um
00:41:27.820 hitting me with
00:41:29.160 10 day notices
00:41:30.520 to vacate
00:41:32.000 jeez
00:41:32.700 and
00:41:33.220 and
00:41:34.260 because
00:41:35.020 there was a moratorium
00:41:36.260 they couldn't do anything
00:41:37.540 so instead
00:41:38.500 of trying to work with us
00:41:40.900 they hit me with a lawsuit
00:41:42.920 of
00:41:44.420 um
00:41:45.260 um
00:41:46.660 coming after us
00:41:48.700 for
00:41:49.100 the remainder
00:41:50.520 of the lease
00:41:51.400 attorney's fees
00:41:53.900 late fees
00:41:54.560 holy cow
00:41:55.520 here
00:41:57.180 over
00:41:57.720 150
00:41:58.440 thousand
00:41:58.880 dollars
