Summary

On today's show, Glenn Beck is joined by Stu from The Blaze to talk about the Inflation Reduction Act of 1981 and the impact it has had on our economy and the future of our energy grid. Glenn also talks about the Supreme Court's decision to strike down Roe v. Wade and why abortion advocates should not be allowed to own anything.

00:00:00.000 Kind of a big podcast today.
00:00:02.700 A lot going on on today's show.
00:00:04.220 Yeah, it's been an amazing week.
00:00:06.700 The first hour of the podcast, we go over what is happening to the energy companies in our country.
00:00:14.620 We show you bribery, the graft, the stealing of your children's future while using your money to do it.
00:00:23.320 I mean, this is honestly how you will own nothing in 2030.
00:00:28.200 And I don't know.
00:00:30.760 I'm sure there are other people that have maybe reported on it, but this is the first I've seen it.
00:00:36.540 And we've been working on it for several weeks.
00:00:39.440 And we're just at the beginning of the story of what's in the Inflation Reduction Act and what's happening around the country already because of it.
00:00:47.860 Plus a way to stop it.
00:00:49.320 And society may not own anything in 2030, but you own at least one thing.
00:00:54.400 You got a new toy.
00:00:56.800 I got a new toy.
00:00:58.200 It's kind of a...
00:01:00.760 I mean, it just sits there in a stack of papers.
00:01:03.540 It's a little dark, too, for a toy.
00:01:06.880 And you can probably find this on theblaze.com, the actual story about it.
00:01:14.120 It's quite interesting and a little bit satisfying.
00:01:18.760 The complete paperwork of all of the lead attorney's files from Roe v. Wade went up for sale.
00:01:31.220 They thought it would go to someone who would be promoting abortion.
00:01:35.800 Unfortunately for them, I purchased it, unbeknownst to them, and just received it today.
00:01:43.720 We didn't want to announce it until I actually had it in my hands.
00:01:46.980 But you'll hear all about that and what we plan on doing with that all on today's podcast.
00:01:53.060 It's brought to you by American Giant.
00:01:55.020 They started doing business with us, I think, last year.
00:01:58.700 And we ran a flight of commercials for them because I really believe in the founder and the founding principles and the product that they make.
00:02:06.620 And it's American Giant, and the company was started by Bayard Winthrop.
00:02:11.580 And I had him in on something unrelated, and we ended up hitting it off.
00:02:17.800 And then he started falling in love with you, the audience.
00:02:20.680 And so he advertised.
00:02:23.120 And he's wanted to be a part of the show because he thinks that you're cut from the same cloth, so to speak.
00:02:32.600 We want to save America.
00:02:34.920 We want to restore, you know, some of our factory skills and stop shutting these little towns down.
00:02:41.800 Well, that's what he does.
00:02:43.240 American Giant started in 2012 when a clothing factory in Middlesex, North Carolina, was about to be shut down.
00:02:50.320 He didn't want that to happen.
00:02:51.520 He started his company.
00:02:52.740 He worked with the factory to invest in new machinery and skill development.
00:02:57.020 And here we are 10 years later, and now he is challenging people openly.
00:03:01.320 Levi's, make 5% of your clothing here.
00:03:04.560 And you would rock the world.
00:03:06.820 They make the best hoodie you've seen since probably your dad's sweatshirts.
00:03:11.820 It's the way we used to make them here in America, but we sold off all the equipment.
00:03:16.500 I'm pretty sure Bayard himself went to Japan to find that equipment, repair it, and bring it back here to America.
00:03:22.840 And then train the workers how to make that great hoodie.
00:03:26.460 You'll find it at American-Giant.com.
00:03:30.760 That's American-Giant.com.
00:03:33.680 Use the slash Glenn afterwards so he knows who you are.
00:03:38.100 American-Giant.com slash Glenn.
00:03:41.840 You're listening to The Best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:54.720 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:03:57.020 As Stu said a minute ago, all of this can be found right now at GlennBeck.com.
00:04:01.640 And I urge you, urge you to get this.
00:04:05.820 What they're doing is they are in the dead of night without talking to you about it through ESG standards and also through, I think, bribery.
00:04:17.300 They are dismantling our power grid.
00:04:20.720 And when I say they, I mean this administration, all throughout the administration, do not waste any time with anyone who says, this isn't happening, because it is.
00:04:36.060 It is.
00:04:38.240 Let me tell you about another power plant.
00:04:39.580 I just told you about one in New Mexico.
00:04:42.220 Let me tell you about Delta, Utah.
00:04:44.500 Delta, Utah.
00:04:46.220 Early retirement of reliable energy like coal.
00:04:49.620 It's happening everywhere.
00:04:53.540 Now, I know you're probably thinking, well, Glenn, don't say everywhere, because no way we would send billions and billions and billions of dollars to do this in other countries, right?
00:05:02.220 I mean, we have our own problems, like in East Palestine.
00:05:05.920 43,000 animals have now died.
00:05:08.800 Or how about this report from The Guardian?
00:05:11.380 Did you know the United States is now averaging one chemical accident every two days?
00:05:17.740 But the mainstream media is not reporting on that, you know.
00:05:21.920 People are reporting illnesses.
00:05:24.220 By the way, the government's ultimate solution apparently now is something they hated just 10 years ago, and that's hydrogen.
00:05:32.540 They're putting all of your money and all of our power grid chips on hydrogen, which currently you have to hit water with huge amounts of electricity.
00:05:45.640 Now, I don't think anybody's going to complain about using water to make hydrogen.
00:05:49.060 Then you not only have to hit that water to split the two O's from the H, you have to use more electricity, more energy to get that water to split than what the H will give you in electricity at the end.
00:06:10.640 Oh, and by the way, I haven't even mentioned transporting hydrogen, you know, to the plant where it burns.
00:06:18.080 Should we build pipelines?
00:06:19.440 That's a good idea.
00:06:20.660 How about putting it on trains to transport all over the country?
00:06:23.760 Because that would be safe.
00:06:25.060 You know, the Germans just floated it in something.
00:06:27.940 What was that?
00:06:28.880 The Hindenburg.
00:06:31.380 Yeah, that's going to be good.
00:06:32.920 But no matter what, our money is well spent and invested, and we apparently have more than enough money.
00:06:41.600 The Inflation Reduction Act, in there, we are not only paying power companies billions to shut down plants that are currently providing us with stable energy, but they also get the money only if they sell or tear them down.
00:06:58.680 In other words, they are blocking the door.
00:07:01.440 There's no going back.
00:07:02.320 You wonder if we could have possibly been behind blowing up the pipelines?
00:07:07.300 No, we couldn't have done that.
00:07:09.220 Putting Europe into a situation where they couldn't go back to Russia?
00:07:13.660 They couldn't get gas?
00:07:15.840 No, we'd never do that.
00:07:17.180 We're doing it to our own people here.
00:07:20.480 But I digress.
00:07:21.620 Our climate in chief hero has now seen to it that through his big heart and our seemingly endless wallet, that $8.5 billion, some of your tax money, is being sent today to South Africa.
00:07:39.240 The Just Energy Transition Partnership, not meaning just energy is all we care about.
00:07:44.720 No, no, no.
00:07:45.140 They care about energy that is also just.
00:07:48.640 And it will help South Africa retire their coal-fired energy plants.
00:07:52.860 Now, if I did a poll and said, hey, you know, a billion dollars times eight and a half, should we send that to South Africa or East Palestine?
00:08:03.020 I wonder how that would end up in the polls.
00:08:06.520 Oh, we should focus on our own towns, our own medicine, infrastructure, schools, and homeless.
00:08:10.500 I hear that all the time.
00:08:11.680 But Obama fixed health care.
00:08:14.180 Beginning with Hillary Clinton, she made sure that, you know, the vaccines are fine.
00:08:19.240 Most drugs, you know, are made here in the U.S., except they're not.
00:08:22.840 But every campaign since George W. Bush, I've heard about our crumbling infrastructure.
00:08:28.180 In fact, the American Reinvestment Act, the first bill ever in the history of the world to spend in one bill nearly $1 trillion, which seems kind of quaint right now.
00:08:40.940 I still don't know what we got from it.
00:08:43.280 But the Biden generosity with our money, you know, the money that you pay on tax day, which, by the way, is every dollar you make from January until almost tax day in April, is going to another country.
00:08:59.800 And another country that Americans really probably can't even find on a map.
00:09:03.640 How about Indonesia?
00:09:04.660 I've heard wonderful things about Indonesia.
00:09:06.760 They're the future.
00:09:07.400 The U.S.-led program recently announced a $20 billion partnership to be transforming Indonesia.
00:09:15.660 Indonesia, by the way, the largest coal exporter in the world.
00:09:21.380 But now we're giving them billions of dollars to transition off of coal.
00:09:27.800 Now, how's that going to work?
00:09:29.140 That's going to work out well, right?
00:09:31.120 How's it going to affect places like, I don't know, Europe?
00:09:34.180 Remember, Europe is in dire trouble.
00:09:37.520 Coal, fracking, nuclear, all shut down over there.
00:09:40.120 To compensate, they've been reaching out to places like Indonesia to supply them with reliable energy.
00:09:47.280 But their good, good friends here in America are telling India, let us give you billions of dollars and you shut that down.
00:09:56.640 Last year, the European Union imported 5.85 million tons of coal from Indonesia.
00:10:03.320 That was over a 1,300% increase from the year before.
00:10:06.880 Well, good news is, if we can shut these power plants down, we can have all the coal in the world, but no place to burn it.
00:10:16.200 This is where your tax dollars are going.
00:10:20.460 Is this what you want our power grid to look like in the coming months and years?
00:10:25.600 Maybe the best way to describe all of this, I believe, is not sabotage.
00:10:30.520 It is treason.
00:10:32.880 They are killing our country.
00:10:37.240 They are knowingly sending American energy into untested and unreliable waters, and they are kicking the door closed behind us.
00:10:47.280 And they did it by lying to you, by putting this into the Inflation Reduction Act.
00:10:55.300 This is your money.
00:10:56.740 This is your children's future.
00:10:58.800 Without cheap and plentiful, reliable energy, we become Mexico.
00:11:04.080 I told you in 2007 that this was going to be the plan.
00:11:08.000 I just didn't know how they were going to do it.
00:11:09.540 I remember them saying, we've got to bring the rest of the world up to America's standards.
00:11:12.980 Well, when they figured they can't do that, to make things equitable, you need to bring America down to the rest of the world's standards.
00:11:21.040 I care about the planet, but this is not settled science.
00:11:29.320 If it was, countries would be spending money discovering ways humans could live in hot temperatures.
00:11:35.600 We'd be storing food.
00:11:37.120 We'd be finding ways to farm underground if we had to.
00:11:40.700 Not killing our farmland, our farmers, while building cars that run on electricity from power plants that we're closing down.
00:11:48.300 And bigger than this, if this was such a big problem, and the world all knew it, why do we have to bribe companies and countries to do it?
00:12:01.680 Arrogance, lies, corruption, sabotage, or treason?
00:12:10.080 Now listen, Utah has just put a bill out.
00:12:13.040 They refuse to have their energy policy dictated by the radicals that are now running our federal government.
00:12:21.700 Their solution was HB 425, which mandates that power companies must notify the state if they intend to shut reliable energy sources down,
00:12:32.780 and they cannot prevent coal power energy production.
00:12:37.320 These power plants, the government wants them sold for scrap.
00:12:45.400 They are worth billions of dollars.
00:12:49.280 They will take us 10 years to replace.
00:12:53.320 Just the power plant.
00:12:55.820 Once they tear them down, you're 10 years away.
00:13:01.180 There's no going back.
00:13:03.000 You tell the federal government they have no right to take your state's sovereignty by seizing the way we do, we power our communities.
00:13:15.840 The template has already been written, and it has been proven that we can fight back.
00:13:21.700 Utah just did it.
00:13:23.780 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:13:26.240 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
00:13:32.580 At glennbeck.com today, we have made available some information that I shared last night, and again in hour number one of this podcast,
00:13:45.260 and it is about the Inflation Reduction Act and what the United States government is doing to literally destroy our power grid.
00:13:56.380 They are literally paying power companies to shut down coal plants early, retire them early, before you have things to replace it,
00:14:07.120 retire them, and then destroy them so there's no way back.
00:14:11.780 It is, in my opinion, it's sabotage at best.
00:14:18.420 There is no reason to do it this way, but that is exactly what is happening, and a lot of it is buried in our Inflation Reduction Act.
00:14:28.880 There is a state that led the way on this.
00:14:32.180 It is Utah.
00:14:33.580 They just passed last week.
00:14:36.120 I think it's on the governor's desk.
00:14:38.640 He may have signed it.
00:14:39.520 It's HB 425, and this is the first successful state-level pushback against the transformation of our energy grid,
00:14:50.620 especially without your knowledge, and that you can find at glennbeck.com.
00:14:55.340 I urge you to either watch last night's show on Blaze TV or get part of that information from hour number one of this podcast
00:15:03.060 and then become active.
00:15:06.620 Now, West Virginia is another state that has been leading the way on anti-ESG,
00:15:13.100 and Patrick Morrissey is the West Virginia Attorney General,
00:15:18.100 and he is also fighting back on this, and I'd like him to explain what's happening in West Virginia,
00:15:25.700 what you're fighting against, and what you're doing about it.
00:15:27.980 Hi, Patrick.
00:15:28.420 Patrick, how are you?
00:15:29.760 I'm doing great, Glenn.
00:15:31.300 It's good to be with you today, and we are out in front.
00:15:34.940 I feel like I've been leading the charge of this.
00:15:37.560 We're now into year 10 of fighting all these efforts to close coal-fired power plants,
00:15:44.120 and we've had some huge wins, as you know, at the U.S. Supreme Court, West Virginia, VPA.
00:15:49.280 I've led the way against the ESG nonsense for the last number of years,
00:15:53.740 and we've been pushing back on Green New Deal, but this is a multi-front war,
00:15:58.040 and we need to leverage all of our resources and get all of our sister states to push back
00:16:04.120 on the nonsense coming from the federal government.
00:16:07.160 So we have, we've, the public has spent billions of dollars on these power plants.
00:16:12.160 They are currently running and running well, and all over the country, the EPA is putting
00:16:18.720 such onerous regulations on them.
00:16:23.000 They just announced yesterday another $220 million worth of regulations, and then inside
00:16:29.500 the Inflation Reduction Act, spread out through several agencies, they are guaranteeing things
00:16:36.060 like 100% of your profit for the next 10 years.
00:16:39.420 All you have to do is shut the power plant down and sell it for scrap or get rid of it.
00:16:45.840 Am I right that one of the power plants was shut down in West Virginia because of this?
00:16:55.560 Well, I know that there are a number of power plants that are at risk.
00:17:00.320 At risk, okay.
00:17:01.940 Yeah, at risk from the Inflation Reduction Act, which, Glenn, you're exactly right.
00:17:06.340 Not only is that wrongly named when it says Inflation Reduction, that was such an absurd
00:17:11.720 title because what it's doing is it's actually going to make it harder for fossil fuels to
00:17:18.840 survive, and they poured a lot of money into this.
00:17:23.200 Here in West Virginia, though, we are fighting back.
00:17:26.120 We are getting, gearing up.
00:17:28.020 There was a common-sense bill passed that requires our state public service commission
00:17:33.340 to approve any retirements of our state's coal-fired power plants.
00:17:38.520 So we're trying to push back against the untoward financial incentives that the feds have put
00:17:44.260 out.
00:17:44.720 And obviously, on separate fronts, I've been working in leading litigation, stopping the
00:17:51.200 federal agency's authority to regulate in carbon emissions when they lacked authority to do so.
00:17:57.740 So there's a lot we're doing, but you're right to focus on states pushing back because the
00:18:04.440 financial incentives are on tour, and our citizens are the ones who will pay the price through
00:18:09.760 higher prices at the pump and through our utility bills.
00:18:12.940 Yeah.
00:18:13.420 If you don't, I mean, there are some regions of the country that are already behind 21%, 25%
00:18:20.040 in energy production.
00:18:22.540 They start shutting these down, and you're going to have blackouts and brownouts all across
00:18:27.980 the country.
00:18:29.280 On Tuesday, Senate Bill 609 there in West Virginia was approved.
00:18:37.540 I don't know if it has been passed yet, but there are apparently four inactive power plants
00:18:43.760 awaiting demolition, and the Senate bill now is stopping them from being torn down, right?
00:18:55.760 That's right.
00:18:56.720 That's what I mentioned.
00:18:57.740 So it's actually shifting the decision over the Public Service Commission left to approve
00:19:04.580 the retirement of these plants.
00:19:06.520 And so we want to make sure that these utilities, where there could be a clear conflict of interest
00:19:13.000 in terms of deciding whether to preserve the power plants or replace them, that they're not
00:19:18.160 the only decision makers in the mix.
00:19:20.880 And I would add, Glenn, when you look at what the left is trying to do when they talk about
00:19:26.020 100 million electric cars, where do they think that the power is going to come from?
00:19:31.860 Is it going to come from all these renewables?
00:19:34.980 Well, it's not in the very near future.
00:19:37.960 It would come from baseload, efficient powers such as coal and natural gas.
00:19:44.280 And West Virginia has that in abundance.
00:19:46.940 Unfortunately, the Biden administration has really been targeting this through every vehicle,
00:19:53.160 not just through the EPA, but every federal agency seems to have a climate change division
00:19:59.000 attached to it.
00:20:00.200 And we work to push back against that.
00:20:02.400 Well, I have to tell you, I wouldn't have a problem with this if these power companies
00:20:07.900 are saying we're building new plants for a different kind of power, but we're keeping
00:20:12.800 the power plant that's running coal right now online.
00:20:16.500 When this one comes online, we'll see how reliable it is.
00:20:20.640 And we may power this one down somewhat, but we'll keep it ready in reserve.
00:20:25.920 But they're not.
00:20:27.500 They are giving us wishes, hopes, and ponies while shutting down anything that could help
00:20:36.200 us in case it doesn't work and destroying it.
00:20:39.640 You look, you're exactly right.
00:20:41.340 And what happens, it's important for your listeners to know that this is all predicated
00:20:46.840 on authority that the federal government doesn't actually have.
00:20:50.920 So you may recall when we went up to the Supreme Court and we won West Virginia VPA, we shut
00:20:58.020 down large portions of Biden's Green New Deal because for years they were on tenderhooks.
00:21:04.480 They had such a slim read of authority, yet they tried to advance.
00:21:08.520 But then what the administration does, they go to the markets, to Wall Street.
00:21:12.600 They try to do everything they can to use their political pressure and financial pressure
00:21:18.500 to get their preferred sources of energy lifted up and their sources of energy, which they
00:21:25.200 don't like, to get shut down.
00:21:27.060 So these folks are being more abusive.
00:21:30.160 And you're right.
00:21:31.200 They're not offering alternatives because there's no way that these new sources of energy are going
00:21:37.220 to be able to fill up the needs of Americans.
00:21:42.020 And I'm very concerned about what this means for West Virginia, not only the loss of jobs,
00:21:48.220 but we think that the price of energy is just going to continue to skyrocket.
00:21:52.560 That drives inflation rather than lowering it.
00:21:55.860 Well, this is similar to what Europe did a few years ago, and they're now paying 10 times the price
00:22:02.260 for energy.
00:22:05.500 Let me ask you, you know, you were talking about how the federal government is working
00:22:08.700 and they're just twisting arms and then going to all of their allies in the private markets.
00:22:16.020 All I can think of is there's got to be a way to use the RICO Act.
00:22:20.680 Isn't that what the RICO Act was tried to do, was break up these mob-like entities?
00:22:28.220 Well, I mean, look, I can tell you this.
00:22:32.960 We use every single tool in West Virginia.
00:22:35.840 I've been at this for a long time, and we don't have much in the way of a criminal authority
00:22:41.900 within our office, some of those initiatives.
00:22:44.920 However, what I would tell you, Glenn, is that one of the things I did when I came in
00:22:49.320 is we looked at every regulation in every area.
00:22:52.760 We've been obviously for three or four years pushing back on the ESG.
00:22:56.380 We're leading a 24-state coalition against what the Securities and Exchange Commission
00:23:01.480 is trying to do, and we're participating in broad-based investigations.
00:23:05.700 We think, Glenn, there are antitrust violations with a lot of these financial BMOPS.
00:23:11.780 Oh, yeah.
00:23:12.160 We're trying to get together and use these new metrics, these ESG metrics, which actually
00:23:17.360 don't help everyday consumers and actually might bring back a worse return in the marketplace,
00:23:23.900 but they most certainly advance the far-left political agenda.
00:23:28.560 We're talking to Patrick Morrissey.
00:23:29.940 He is the West Virginia Attorney General and been on the front lines of fighting not only
00:23:35.560 the EPA but also ESG and now energy as well.
00:23:41.200 Thank you so much, Patrick.
00:23:42.300 I appreciate it.
00:23:43.600 Hey, thanks so much, Glenn.
00:23:44.800 Appreciate it.
00:23:45.380 Patrick Morrissey, West Virginia Attorney General.
00:23:47.880 Thank God we've had some real good Attorney Generals.
00:23:51.660 Right now, mortgage rates.
00:23:53.480 By the way, you can get this bill, the one in Utah that's already been passed.
00:24:00.000 It's dirt strong.
00:24:01.920 It puts things on hold, takes the power back to you where you have to approve.
00:24:10.800 Yeah, you go ahead and shut that down.
00:24:13.280 Studies have to be done.
00:24:14.700 This is all just to make sure those power plants are not torn down, but you can get that at
00:24:23.420 glennbeck.com.
00:24:24.720 Please send this to all of your legislators and senators in your state and your governor.
00:24:32.560 Every state must protect their own power plants.
00:24:37.020 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.
00:24:39.280 Steve Dace joins us now.
00:24:46.420 He's Blaze TV host of The Steve Dace Show.
00:24:49.380 Just a total coincidence that we found a guy named Steve Dace to host that show, but we did.
00:24:55.580 He's also the co-author of Rise of the Fourth Reich and the writer and producer, I think.
00:25:03.960 Producer.
00:25:04.300 What is your role in the movie, Steve?
00:25:06.380 I am the muse and the executive producer of Nefarious, which is a new movie.
00:25:14.700 You'll find out all about it.
00:25:15.760 Who is Nefarious.com?
00:25:17.620 It's coming out soon, and I'm going to be real honest with you.
00:25:23.380 My expectation of movies that come from the right have, no pun intended, been notoriously
00:25:33.180 reserved.
00:25:37.000 I mean, my expectations are like, well, let's see what this looks like.
00:25:40.840 And if it's a decent at all, you're thrilled.
00:25:44.720 This movie shocked me because it is a really hard movie to make, and it better have one
00:25:53.320 of the best actors in it I've ever seen.
00:25:55.780 The guy's playing, you know, basically a devil.
00:25:59.820 And to convince people of that is like, really?
00:26:04.820 Steve?
00:26:06.420 Remarkable.
00:26:07.120 What's the name of that actor?
00:26:08.120 Sean Patrick Flannery, and a lot of your listeners might remember him from back in
00:26:13.160 the day with Boondock Saints and Powder and several other big films in the late 90s and
00:26:18.380 early 2000s.
00:26:19.500 And you're right, Glenn.
00:26:21.460 I mean, he puts in a Jack Nicholson in the shining level of performance.
00:26:26.500 He does.
00:26:27.420 I think the guy could get an Oscar if he wasn't in a Christian movie or a conservative movie
00:26:36.820 or something like that.
00:26:37.860 If he was playing the devil and it was, you know, to get everybody to join, he'd get an
00:26:45.000 Oscar.
00:26:46.500 But he's phenomenal.
00:26:49.080 So when does the movie come out?
00:26:51.240 It hits theaters April 14th nationwide.
00:26:55.080 Right now we're probably looking at around 1,600 or so theaters across the country.
00:26:59.520 We'll have all those listed later this month at whoisnefarious.com.
00:27:03.900 Our big marketing push for the movie begins actually today.
00:27:08.280 We're going to unveil here in a moment the full trailer for the movie.
00:27:12.940 Have you seen it yet?
00:27:13.960 I have not.
00:27:14.520 I have not seen it.
00:27:15.280 No, I have not seen it.
00:27:16.140 I want to get your live reaction.
00:27:17.780 Yeah.
00:27:18.060 That could be dangerous.
00:27:19.200 Could be dangerous, but.
00:27:20.320 You know me.
00:27:20.980 I like to live on the edge.
00:27:21.860 All right.
00:27:22.320 I love being on the edge.
00:27:23.300 So let's go ahead.
00:27:23.960 Here's the trailer for Nefarious.
00:27:25.620 Hello?
00:27:30.080 You should have accepted my offer, James.
00:27:44.180 Execution's scheduled for 11 p.m.
00:27:46.080 But he's trying to convince us he's gone insane.
00:27:50.380 And therefore incapable of being executed.
00:27:53.920 I need you to prove he's faking it.
00:27:57.420 Edward?
00:27:58.660 I'm going to ask you some questions.
00:28:01.600 I'm not Edward.
00:28:03.140 I'm a demon.
00:28:05.460 Demons aren't really a thing.
00:28:10.460 What happened to Edward?
00:28:12.000 We own him.
00:28:14.140 We?
00:28:14.700 He's a master manipulator.
00:28:19.120 You have your head so twisted around, you think you're the killer.
00:28:21.700 Not him.
00:28:24.060 Give me something to make me believe you.
00:28:26.180 Prove to me you're a demon.
00:28:32.660 It's probably just a coincidence.
00:28:38.400 I want to talk to Edward.
00:28:40.740 It makes me do bad.
00:28:42.560 I can't stop him.
00:28:44.700 I need you to see something.
00:28:46.960 You got a fan.
00:28:48.320 Did the same thing with all his victims.
00:28:51.320 Help me!
00:28:52.460 I'm trying to, Edward, but you have to answer my questions.
00:28:54.880 You have to tell me the truth.
00:28:56.660 It won't let me!
00:28:58.800 It can go away.
00:29:00.100 It can go away.
00:29:02.920 Yes?
00:29:06.120 No.
00:29:06.560 It's starting to happen.
00:29:11.980 Can you feel it, James?
00:29:14.480 Can you feel it?
00:29:15.900 Okay.
00:29:17.300 It's you.
00:29:17.820 That is a goosebump.
00:29:29.780 I think it's time we tell you exactly what it is that we'd like you to do.
00:29:34.000 This is a goosebump trailer.
00:29:40.780 That is really a good trailer.
00:29:42.840 Really good trailer.
00:29:44.920 Thank you.
00:29:45.280 If you were sitting in a movie theater, I wouldn't know if that was a Blumhouse.
00:29:52.380 Yep.
00:29:52.700 I mean, I wouldn't see, I would not have thought it's a Christian, you know, centered movie.
00:29:57.880 Um, it looks like a horror movie and really is to watch it is the guy is so good and it tells the story of this guy who is a, a, um, a guy who just kind of let, uh, Satan in slowly.
00:30:19.120 And this, uh, this demon that keeps jumping from people to people is just torturing this guy and the way he plays it, almost a schizo personality to where, uh, once in a while he, the real guy comes through and he's so terrified.
00:30:36.200 Help me, help me, help me.
00:30:37.180 It is amazing.
00:30:39.060 Really good.
00:30:40.080 Really good, Steve.
00:30:41.920 Thank you.
00:30:42.640 Um, we set out to just make a darn good movie and figured if we do that, all of our worldviews will shine through on its own.
00:30:50.660 Uh, and you know, I try to practice that model with my show as you do and it worked and we kind of made a movie at the Exorcist and Screwtape Letters had a baby.
00:30:59.180 This would be a movie it would make.
00:31:00.940 Yeah.
00:31:01.240 This would be it with less pea soup vomiting.
00:31:04.480 Yes.
00:31:04.880 All of the graphic grossities of Exorcist are not in this movie, but this is more of an intellectual invasion, a philosophical.
00:31:13.400 And the movie is going to say, it is going to say what our audiences have long wanted movies to say to the culture.
00:31:20.980 This, this movie was made to confront the culture via this left-wing psychiatrist that Jordan Belfi plays.
00:31:27.700 Yeah.
00:31:27.960 He is the stand-in for American culture.
00:31:30.100 Do you understand the abyss we are walking into?
00:31:32.540 Do you understand where the origin of the, of the, of the, of the things you're asserting, the policies you want, the direction you want to take the country?
00:31:39.500 Do you know where that comes from?
00:31:41.540 In this movie, we will confront them with that.
00:31:44.420 That is really powerful.
00:31:45.840 Steve, thank you so much for coming on and sharing the trailer.
00:31:50.500 Again, the movie, you can find out all the information at the website, whoisnefarious.com.
00:31:58.260 Whoisnefarious.com.
00:32:00.440 And the movie.
00:32:01.060 Guest starring Glenn Beck.
00:32:01.580 Don't forget.
00:32:02.560 Guest starring Glenn Beck.
00:32:03.360 That, I have to apologize to the audience for that.
00:32:09.400 Because I, I watched it and I'm like, oh my dear God, get that guy off the screen.
00:32:13.860 It is, oof.
00:32:14.860 You did great.
00:32:15.780 You did phenomenal.
00:32:17.680 You did.
00:32:18.300 It's April 14th in theaters everywhere.
00:32:22.320 Find out all about it at whoisnefarious.com.
00:32:25.280 Na, na, na, na, na.
