00:03:00.400 Now let's get to work.

00:03:06.480 You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.

00:03:15.760 All right.

00:03:16.240 Hello, Stu.

00:03:16.800 How are you?

00:03:17.520 Glenn, how are you in D.C.?

00:03:19.520 I am good.

00:03:20.160 I tell you, the allergies, the trees and everything has just exploded in my throat yesterday.

00:03:27.760 And so I'm not sure how long my voice will last.

00:03:30.640 And I have to save it because I'm meeting with the president a little later on this afternoon.

00:03:35.120 I'm going to spend a couple of hours with him.

00:03:37.440 And that show will broadcast tonight at 9 p.m. on Blaze.

00:03:42.560 So just stick with me.

00:03:44.720 All right.

00:03:45.680 Let me let's start here with POTUS.

00:03:48.240 I mean, with SCOTUS, a battle for the kid.

00:03:51.680 The soul of our children began yesterday in the Supreme Court.

00:03:55.760 The case involves a group of parents suing the largest school district in Maryland for their white right to withdraw their children from classes on days that books with gay and transgender characters themes are discussed.

00:04:08.240 The parents are suing on religious freedom grounds.

00:04:11.680 In 2022, Montgomery County Public Schools added LGBTQ themed books to their curriculum for students from pre-K through the fifth grade.

00:04:22.560 The books include things like Pride Puppy, an alphabet book about a family whose puppy gets lost at a pride parade.

00:04:30.960 Love and Violet, about a girl who has a crush on her female classmate.

00:04:35.620 These are pre-K to fifth grade and Born Ready, about a transgender boy.

00:04:41.700 Again, these books added to pre-K to fifth grade.

00:04:45.460 This new curriculum is DEI for elementary children.

00:04:50.020 Now, at first, the Maryland School District allowed or alerted parents when the storybooks were going to be used in class and allowed them to have their children excused from the sessions.

00:04:59.780 But the district has since stopped giving both advance notice and an opt-out policy saying it's too hard to administer.

00:05:08.760 I mean, geez, it's really, really.

00:05:10.800 And it leads to lots of absences and stigmatizes some kids.

00:05:15.940 I want you to know this case is not about a few storybooks, a few colorful, you know, pictures of little puppies getting lost.

00:05:24.580 It's about whether you, as a parent, still have a God-given right to raise your children according to your faith and your values and your common sense.

00:05:36.220 Do you have the right?

00:05:38.680 Because if the Supreme Court says, no, you don't have that right anymore.

00:05:43.640 If the First Amendment Free Exercise Clause doesn't protect this, your right as a parent, then what are all our rights even for?

00:05:56.320 If we don't have a right as a parent to parent our children, none of the rights really even matter.

00:06:02.240 Now, the parents who are suing insist that these books, quote, promote one-sided transgender ideology, encourage gender transitioning, and focus excessively on romantic infatuation.

00:06:15.440 By the way, the parents are not seeking to remove the books from classrooms or the children's libraries.

00:06:22.300 They just don't want their children to have to sit through these indoctrination sessions. 0.96

00:06:26.240 Oh, that's not good enough.

00:06:27.780 You will comply.

00:06:30.640 That's what it's all about.

00:06:32.240 They're not trying to erase anyone's story.

00:06:38.960 They just want to not comply.

00:06:43.400 They want to shield their children from ideas that contradict their faith.

00:06:49.000 What is the First Amendment really all about?

00:06:51.540 Sounds reasonable.

00:06:52.680 Sounds like basic parenting 101.

00:06:55.440 First Amendment is clear.

00:06:56.700 You cannot burden someone's free exercise of religion,

00:06:59.660 and forcing kids to engage with ideas that violate their family's deeply held beliefs.

00:07:04.280 That is clearly, clearly a burden.

00:07:07.920 Religious liberty is in the First Amendment.

00:07:12.920 It is not a second-class right.

00:07:15.640 It is a first-class right.

00:07:18.720 Besides, this is basic common sense, or at least used to be.

00:07:23.380 Parents have the right to guide their kids on any sensitive topic, like sex, sexuality, or, yes, even gender.

00:07:30.680 It's not the school's job.

00:07:33.600 It's your job.

00:07:35.200 Period.

00:07:36.360 Now, this should be a slam dunk for the parents, but I don't even know.

00:07:39.720 I mean, if the Supreme Court doesn't see that, parents won't just be losing this case.

00:07:44.320 We'll be losing even more freedom to raise our own kids.

00:07:48.800 This one is a very, very deep red, crimson line in the sand that the Supreme Court cannot cross.

00:07:59.420 But we'll see.

00:08:01.000 Apparently, yesterday, did you hear any of the arguments, Stu?

00:08:03.820 Yeah, I read about them.

00:08:05.640 It definitely seemed like the conservative justices were a bit skeptical of the idea that you get to force parents to keep their kids in these classes, even if they oppose it, when you're reading these books.

00:08:23.280 But, you know, of course, you never know.

00:08:24.680 We've seen crazy things happen in the Supreme Court before.

00:08:28.940 What's fascinating to me is, and what's the motivation here, Glenn?

00:08:31.780 You tell me.

00:08:33.240 If you're going to have one of these situations where you have these books, and as you point out, they are not like, okay, there happens to be a gay character in a book about something else.

00:08:43.980 It is like straight out books about why you should think these lifestyles and choices are okay.

00:08:52.180 It is straight out what they're doing.

00:08:54.000 To pre-K to fifth graders, so really, really young.

00:08:57.760 This is not like, you know, some of these situations, they like to push out there, like, oh, you don't want high schoolers to read these books.

00:09:04.680 It's not even what they're talking about.

00:09:06.680 And what could be the motivation of not allowing parents to opt their kids out here?

00:09:14.760 They did offer that, as you noted.

00:09:17.160 They did offer that the first year that these books...

00:09:19.380 It's a hassle.

00:09:20.040 It's a hassle.

00:09:20.660 I love that.

00:09:21.580 There's no innocuous explanation for this, right?

00:09:27.200 It's just, we want your kids to believe these things.

00:09:31.340 Therefore, we will force them to stay in class.

00:09:35.040 What do you mean it's hard to administer?

00:09:37.540 There's all sorts of things that you'd allow kids to leave class for.

00:09:43.100 It's not hard to administer a kid walking out and doing something else, learning something different.

00:09:50.380 What's the motivation?

00:09:51.500 What's the innocuous tale here, Glenn?

00:09:53.880 There is none.

00:09:54.900 There is none.

00:09:55.980 You go back to the Bible. 0.50

00:09:57.580 Remember Sodom and Gomorrah. 0.83

00:09:59.560 And, you know, the angels come into town.

00:10:01.500 They're looking just for one person.

00:10:02.860 Just what can we find one person?

00:10:05.060 And they go in and they find one.

00:10:11.760 They find one.

00:10:13.300 And he sees the angels and he's like, come on, come on, get into the house, get into the house.

00:10:17.580 And he gets them into the house.

00:10:19.680 And, you know, like, you're not safe out there.

00:10:22.480 And then they start beating on the door.

00:10:24.520 Hey, let us in.

00:10:25.280 We saw these two guys.

00:10:26.780 We saw these two guys.

00:10:29.680 And you need to bring them out here.

00:10:32.100 The answer was, no, no, no.

00:10:35.360 I tell you, I'll give you my daughter.

00:10:38.260 Just not these guys.

00:10:39.340 Now, we found that a little, you know, that's when the angels should have went and went, you know, I don't know if we found the right guy here.

00:10:44.100 But it was a different time.

00:10:45.920 We'll give you our daughter first.

00:10:48.180 Give you our daughter.

00:10:49.020 Just leave them alone. 0.95

00:10:50.860 No.

00:10:52.160 No.

00:10:53.720 You had to comply.

00:10:55.660 If you were coming in to the city, you must comply.

00:11:02.100 They wanted to sodomize the angels. 1.00

00:11:05.340 No, thank you. 0.95

00:11:06.440 No, I'm, you know, I'm all sodomy. 0.77

00:11:09.140 I'm all, the doctor says I'm getting too much sodomy.

00:11:12.660 So, but that is what's happening again.

00:11:15.960 This, even if you don't believe in angels or you don't believe in the story of the Bible, this is a very good parable.

00:11:22.560 I happen to believe it, but it's a very good parable on what was going on.

00:11:29.200 Let's just look at the Bible as just saying, what was the general thing?

00:11:32.640 You could describe it any way you want, but what was generally going on?

00:11:35.360 The city had been taken over by just absolute degenerates and sodomy had become such a big deal.

00:11:44.220 You know, they actually taught my daughter in a Catholic school at Fordham University.

00:11:49.840 They taught my daughter that sodomy, sodomy dad was just their way of greeting people. 1.00

00:11:55.420 You had a Catholic school teach you that, that sodomy wasn't bad, it was just the way they greeted people? 1.00

00:12:02.980 Hey, drop your pants, I want to greet you. 1.00

00:12:06.020 That's ridiculous. 1.00

00:12:07.940 Absolutely ridiculous. 0.99

00:12:11.220 But that's just the way it was. 0.94

00:12:13.260 Well, you know what?

00:12:14.080 I don't want to live in a city where they drop their pants to greet you.

00:12:17.140 I just don't, I think that's probably wrong.

00:12:19.800 Speak for yourself.

00:12:20.740 Even if that was, even.

00:12:22.360 Lots of people, Glenn, you have to understand.

00:12:24.420 You can't opt out of it.

00:12:26.200 You need to make sure that you're participating in the traditional greetings of that society.

00:12:33.460 This is a philosophy that has no forgiveness, and you're either on board or you're not.

00:12:41.920 You're either 100% in, or you're an outcast, and you will comply.

00:12:49.880 This is what the left just doesn't understand.

00:12:53.140 I shouldn't say, the left understands this.

00:12:55.380 The average Democrat doesn't understand.

00:12:57.520 They think, because the average Democrat, I think, is still kind of thinking, well, you know, I mean, I don't like all of that, but I want to be tolerant.

00:13:06.340 There is no tolerance with this.

00:13:08.820 There's none.

00:13:09.400 There is no reason to force these parents or force these kids to go against their parents' teaching other than you will participate.

00:13:22.220 You will comply.

00:13:25.440 That's all it is.

00:13:26.280 Yeah, I love, too, one of their outs on this from the left is basically to say, look, if you don't want your kids to learn this stuff, then you should homeschool or put your kids in Christian schools.

00:13:38.720 Now, of course, it's actually Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

00:13:42.000 One of the lead defendants here is a Muslim, actually, is trying to pull their kids out of this, and they have, which is a fascinating argument from the left, considering how hard they fought against school choice all this time.

00:13:56.800 I mean, they have tried to prevent it, they've tried to prevent the rights for you to educate your own kids, and they're trying to force you to pay for that education, not once, but twice.

00:14:08.940 That's their answer.

00:14:10.120 Like, if you don't want to learn what we're teaching you, then you get to pay twice as much for an education you're going to get outside of these walls.

00:14:19.560 I will tell you that I talked to some people over the last couple of days up here.

00:14:26.020 Some of them with the Department of Education, and they are thrilled to dismantle that thing.

00:14:31.280 They are very, very excited to dismantle the Department of Education.

00:14:36.320 They're on the inside, and they're like, it's freaking them out, and we're shutting this thing down.

00:14:42.580 And it couldn't be more exhilarating, quite honestly.

00:14:46.180 I mean, tell me what the Department of Education has done.

00:14:48.660 Look at how they're taking on private schools, and they're saying you don't have a right to private education,

00:14:55.140 or you have a right, but we're not going to give you any vouchers.

00:14:58.640 We're not going to spend any money.

00:14:59.680 And look at what we're spending money on, a system that is getting worse and worse and worse,

00:15:04.860 and we're trapping our children into slavery.

00:15:10.260 If your kids can't read, I mean, go back to the 1800s.

00:15:15.680 Do you know that it was, I believe it was the death penalty to teach someone, a slave, how to read? 0.69

00:15:23.460 Did you know that?

00:15:25.980 It was a crime of the highest order to teach a slave to read. 0.93

00:15:30.740 Why?

00:15:31.820 Because if they can read, they can think.

00:15:34.980 If they can think, they're no longer going to be a slave.

00:15:38.700 That's why. 0.83

00:15:40.140 So this progressive, these people have hated, have hated the African American forever.

00:15:47.680 It's the same people that started the Klan. 0.95

00:15:50.380 It's the progressive movement that tried to wipe out every black with Planned Parenthood, 0.97

00:15:56.680 and they're still doing it and getting away with it.

00:15:59.880 Is there a reason why all of the abortion clinics happen to fall in the black zip codes?

00:16:05.600 Is there a reason that that's where most of them are?

00:16:09.320 Gee, I don't know.

00:16:11.780 They're still doing it.

00:16:13.600 They were the ones that were over in Germany telling you how to get rid of the Jews. 1.00

00:16:18.620 Yes, that was an American thing, not a German thing.

00:16:22.120 That was us.

00:16:24.640 My gosh, these people have hated and hated and hated.

00:16:27.400 And then the guy, Johnson, who stopped the Civil Rights Movement,

00:16:33.600 he stopped the Civil Rights Act in 1959.

00:16:37.180 He was the guy who stopped it.

00:16:39.420 Then just four or five years later, he signs it in, and he's proud to do it.

00:16:45.640 And then he signs the great, what do you call it, the great society bills.

00:16:53.300 So we have a great society that's going to help the black man.

00:16:56.040 And what does it do?

00:16:56.840 It tears their families apart.

00:16:58.660 It drives them further into poverty.

00:17:01.060 It miseducates their children, so they're just nincompoops. 0.98

00:17:06.420 And then, by the way, white people are nincompoops as well, 1.00

00:17:09.600 because we get the same damn education. 0.99

00:17:12.040 Who is this hurt? 1.00

00:17:13.740 This has hurt the black man more than the white man. 0.51

00:17:17.300 And these people, they still get away with it. 0.51

00:17:21.340 Now, ask yourself a question.

00:17:23.680 If you're paying taxes and this is your country,

00:17:27.600 why the hell can't you say, I'm not educating my kid there,

00:17:31.980 and I'm not paying you for that education,

00:17:33.740 because I think that education is evil.

00:17:36.600 I think that education is so evil,

00:17:39.420 because look what it's doing to our kids. 0.96

00:17:41.420 It's teaching them that they should be slaves.

00:17:45.360 It's not teaching them how to think.

00:17:47.580 It's teaching them what you want them to think.

00:17:51.840 No, not going to do it anymore.

00:17:54.140 All right, back in just a second.

00:17:55.280 You never realize how dependent you really are on the power that's supplied by the grid

00:17:59.320 until the grid is down.

00:18:01.480 That's when the thought hits,

00:18:03.100 oh, I should have had a generator.

00:18:06.000 That's why I want you to check out the Grid Doctor 3300.

00:18:09.100 Generators are really, really expensive,

00:18:11.460 but you usually don't need one.

00:18:13.520 But this one is solar powered,

00:18:15.120 so you're not scrambling for gas cans

00:18:16.820 or dealing with the roar of an engine in your driveway.

00:18:18.900 It's quiet, it's clean,

00:18:20.280 it's safe to use inside your house even.

00:18:22.560 This is the generator for people who want something practical,

00:18:25.960 portable, and built for a world we actually live in,

00:18:28.480 where blackouts are more common

00:18:29.880 and infrastructure is more powerful.

00:18:32.320 This is something you could put your fridge or your freezer on,

00:18:35.200 so, you know, all the meat doesn't go bad.

00:18:37.820 If you want real peace of mind,

00:18:40.380 something you'll actually use,

00:18:41.720 go to mypatriotsupply.com,

00:18:43.460 look at the Grid Doctor 3300,

00:18:45.020 you'll be glad you did.

00:18:45.780 It's quiet, fume-free,

00:18:47.440 safe to use indoors and out,

00:18:49.160 totally portable,

00:18:50.640 and in a world where the grid's becoming

00:18:53.300 less and less reliable by the day,

00:18:54.860 Grid Doctor 3300 will give you peace of mind

00:18:56.920 and practical everyday use.

00:19:06.920 Now, back to the podcast.

00:19:09.320 This is the best of the Glenn Beck Program.

00:19:12.960 All right, hello, Stu.

00:19:14.060 Welcome to the program.

00:19:15.640 Thanks, Glenn.

00:19:16.260 Big day today.

00:19:17.900 Yeah, big day.

00:19:20.060 We've got, of course,

00:19:20.920 an interview with the President of the United States,

00:19:22.760 going to be airing tonight on Blaze TV.

00:19:26.400 BlazeTV.com slash Glenn, by the way,

00:19:28.140 promo code Glenn,

00:19:28.880 if you'd like to join Blaze TV and save 20 bucks.

00:19:32.940 Do you have kind of an approach here at this point?

00:19:35.940 Do you know what you're going to ask him?

00:19:39.640 No.

00:19:40.660 I mean, I do.

00:19:41.480 I've got pages and pages of questions and notes,

00:19:43.640 but now I have to, you know,

00:19:45.580 it's going to take me an hour or two

00:19:46.660 just to whittle it down to the questions

00:19:49.720 I think I can get in.

00:19:51.000 You know, I've got, I don't know,

00:19:52.680 45 minutes or an hour with the President.

00:19:55.500 And that's from the moment he walks in

00:19:57.460 to the moment he leaves.

00:19:58.500 So you don't have a lot of time.

00:20:01.680 And, you know, every single word counts.

00:20:06.080 I know, I'm going to start with this.

00:20:08.660 I asked just for a list of the things

00:20:10.740 that he accomplished in the first 100 days.

00:20:13.360 And we got to page 89.

00:20:14.740 I'll have all of them tonight.

00:20:16.620 This is the first 80, I think, 89 days.

00:20:20.580 Look at that.

00:20:21.280 That's a lot.

00:20:22.800 That's just a list of the accomplishments

00:20:24.940 of the first 89 days.

00:20:28.020 That's, what did you say,

00:20:29.100 that four inches thick?

00:20:30.700 I mean, this guy has made more progress

00:20:34.140 than any other president

00:20:35.700 or many presidents combined

00:20:37.420 in the first 100 days.

00:20:39.100 Nobody's done what he's done.

00:20:42.060 But, you know, one of the things,

00:20:43.560 and I don't know how I'm going to,

00:20:44.800 because I can't ask him directly.

00:20:46.400 So I kind of try to ask him

00:20:47.760 several questions all the way through

00:20:49.140 that'll kind of give you a sense of,

00:20:52.480 are we looking for a reprieve?

00:20:56.620 Is that where we're going to get?

00:20:58.060 A four-year reprieve?

00:20:59.960 If the economy doesn't turn around fast enough,

00:21:04.100 because I believe the president

00:21:05.240 can turn it around.

00:21:06.300 But if it doesn't turn it around fast enough,

00:21:08.580 or if people don't understand

00:21:10.740 that he is changing

00:21:12.200 the entire structure of the world,

00:21:16.240 and he's trying to do it

00:21:18.320 in two years, really,

00:21:20.980 we're going to be left with a reprieve

00:21:24.280 and not a fundamental change.

00:21:29.680 And does he think that's really possible,

00:21:32.440 especially without Congress?

00:21:33.900 I mean, I'm going to rail on Congress.

00:21:35.480 I don't know if he'll join me on that,

00:21:36.780 but I really want to know

00:21:38.480 why he isn't pounding Congress

00:21:39.700 into the dirt.

00:21:41.020 I mean, Congress is,

00:21:42.640 they're not helpful at all.

00:21:43.720 And no matter what anybody says,

00:21:45.340 I've talked to enough people

00:21:46.080 just the last few days here

00:21:47.280 to tell you that anybody who tells you

00:21:49.400 that the Senate and the House leadership

00:21:51.220 is on the president's side, 0.98

00:21:53.420 they don't know their butt from their elbow. 0.97

00:21:55.500 They have no idea 1.00

00:21:56.740 what they're talking about.

00:21:57.760 They are not on his side.

00:21:59.060 They are not working with him.

00:22:01.160 And that's obvious.

00:22:02.500 I mean, they should be passing,

00:22:04.900 you know, I know this is going to be,

00:22:07.000 you know, he said,

00:22:07.780 I'm going to pass the largest tax cut.

00:22:10.140 Well, he's not.

00:22:10.800 He's what the Congress is doing

00:22:12.820 is he's actually,

00:22:14.200 he's thwarting the largest tax increase

00:22:18.300 in American history

00:22:19.440 that would come next year.

00:22:21.700 Well, the country needs a tax cut,

00:22:24.300 a tax plan

00:22:25.460 that will actually encourage

00:22:27.960 spending on business,

00:22:30.560 encourage, you know,

00:22:32.140 spending on

00:22:33.300 on creating jobs.

00:22:37.260 I also want to talk to him about energy.

00:22:39.120 I mean, what do you think, Stu?

00:22:42.780 What are the questions you want to know?

00:22:45.280 I think the economy is a big one

00:22:46.720 and how he's going to

00:22:48.120 kind of go forward with that.

00:22:49.260 We talked about having

00:22:50.060 that sort of positive agenda.

00:22:52.360 I think that would be helpful.

00:22:53.680 It seems like the markets

00:22:54.340 are liking that today.

00:22:55.840 And there's a little bit of a,

00:22:57.420 maybe a little bit of an approach change

00:22:58.900 over the past couple of days.

00:23:00.900 And that seems to be helping quite a bit.

00:23:03.380 I think that's a big one.

00:23:04.480 I think certainly energy is a big one.

00:23:06.740 The Department of Education

00:23:08.580 is another one.

00:23:10.020 Wait, wait, wait.

00:23:10.680 Go back to the positive.

00:23:14.800 What do you mean by that?

00:23:15.740 Like we talked about energy

00:23:17.040 going in and saying,

00:23:18.240 look, I'm going to build

00:23:19.200 all these nuclear power plants

00:23:21.040 in the next three years.

00:23:21.900 Because testimony on the Hill

00:23:24.120 yesterday, day before yesterday,

00:23:25.900 from the president of,

00:23:28.100 you know, former CEO of Google,

00:23:29.620 Eric Schmidt,

00:23:30.660 was pretty clear.

00:23:31.760 We are going to,

00:23:33.920 right now,

00:23:35.280 the cloud services,

00:23:37.100 if you will,

00:23:37.800 the compute power

00:23:39.320 for all of the big,

00:23:41.340 you know,

00:23:42.060 computer cloud servers,

00:23:45.040 they require currently

00:23:47.120 3% of all of the electricity

00:23:50.120 that is used in the United States.

00:23:52.840 3%.

00:23:53.400 In three years,

00:23:55.360 they will require 99%

00:23:58.380 of our energy.

00:23:59.580 Well, there's no way

00:24:01.360 that can happen

00:24:01.880 without us having blackouts

00:24:03.160 and brownouts

00:24:03.800 and, you know,

00:24:04.860 the rest of the country

00:24:05.600 just starving itself

00:24:07.260 from electricity.

00:24:08.460 That'll just collapse everything.

00:24:10.300 So,

00:24:10.720 a positive way

00:24:12.260 to deal with this

00:24:13.000 is to say,

00:24:13.800 I am going to do

00:24:15.040 the biggest energy push

00:24:17.980 ever in American history.

00:24:19.660 And he's already done it

00:24:20.600 for oil

00:24:21.120 and coal.

00:24:23.040 Now he just needs to say,

00:24:24.980 I'm cutting the red tape.

00:24:26.780 I'm going to make sure

00:24:27.360 that they're safe.

00:24:28.160 But there's new technology

00:24:30.240 now with nuclear power plants

00:24:32.240 and we're going to drop them

00:24:33.840 in city after city after city

00:24:35.240 where these cloud servers

00:24:36.340 are going to be

00:24:36.760 because if Eric Schmidt

00:24:38.720 is right,

00:24:39.120 and I believe he is,

00:24:40.280 each one of these cloud servers

00:24:42.120 by 2030

00:24:43.160 will need

00:24:44.460 a nuclear,

00:24:45.780 full-size nuclear power plant

00:24:48.000 themselves.

00:24:49.860 That's incredible.

00:24:52.620 It's incomprehensible.

00:24:54.500 But yeah,

00:24:54.900 as you point out,

00:24:55.620 instead of saying,

00:24:57.140 an alternate approach

00:24:58.740 to that would be,

00:25:00.000 hey,

00:25:00.220 we need to stop

00:25:01.120 these AI companies

00:25:02.240 from doing this.

00:25:03.200 We need to make sure

00:25:03.820 that they are not taking over.

00:25:05.080 That's the,

00:25:05.560 I would say,

00:25:05.980 what the left

00:25:06.380 would typically do

00:25:07.380 in a situation like this.

00:25:08.540 They would try to stop

00:25:09.260 the companies from growing.

00:25:10.380 They would try to stop

00:25:11.100 them from innovating.

00:25:12.320 They would say,

00:25:13.200 you need to do

00:25:14.040 more with less.

00:25:16.200 And our,

00:25:17.180 I think,

00:25:17.800 the conservative argument

00:25:19.100 there is to say,

00:25:19.820 hey,

00:25:20.020 no,

00:25:20.180 we're going to give you

00:25:20.920 the tools that you need.

00:25:22.300 We're going to make it easy

00:25:22.980 for these companies

00:25:23.820 to build nuclear power plants

00:25:25.160 in a safe way,

00:25:26.320 of course,

00:25:26.800 but reliable energy

00:25:29.780 that can fuel these things 0.97

00:25:31.740 would be great.

00:25:32.220 I think the same thing,

00:25:33.320 you know,

00:25:33.540 I think if you look

00:25:34.060 at Trump's economic plan,

00:25:35.880 he wants to bring,

00:25:36.460 let's say,

00:25:36.700 manufacturing back

00:25:37.440 to the United States.

00:25:38.200 Well,

00:25:38.320 there's a couple ways

00:25:38.860 that you can do that

00:25:39.520 and both of them

00:25:40.160 are completely consistent

00:25:41.240 with what Trump wants to do.

00:25:43.200 One of them is,

00:25:44.520 are obviously tariffs.

00:25:45.760 That's what's had

00:25:46.620 almost all the attention.

00:25:47.760 I think there's a reason

00:25:48.540 why the media focuses on that.

00:25:49.980 I think they rather talk

00:25:52.320 about the tariffs

00:25:52.980 because they're not as popular.

00:25:55.040 The other side of it

00:25:55.860 is incentivizing companies

00:25:57.060 to come here.

00:25:57.940 It's cutting regulation.

00:25:59.000 It's cutting taxes.

00:26:00.140 It's making the United States

00:26:01.560 into the greatest place

00:26:02.860 to do business.

00:26:04.680 People will want to come here

00:26:06.320 and the Democrats

00:26:07.360 have worked really hard

00:26:08.700 to take that impression away

00:26:10.600 from the world

00:26:11.520 over the past 20 years

00:26:13.220 and Trump,

00:26:14.780 I think,

00:26:15.080 in his first term,

00:26:15.700 did a good job

00:26:16.400 at encouraging

00:26:17.520 that sort of development here.

00:26:19.480 I think it went pretty well

00:26:20.880 with the economy

00:26:22.020 and I think like that

00:26:22.940 just,

00:26:23.320 it's just a,

00:26:24.160 I think he believes that still.

00:26:26.480 He just,

00:26:26.840 it hasn't been the focus

00:26:27.840 as much of the messaging

00:26:30.900 and I think that could help.

00:26:32.880 This is the problem

00:26:34.080 and I'm going to try

00:26:35.280 to get him

00:26:35.980 to explain this.

00:26:37.220 I can't ask him,

00:26:39.360 I don't think

00:26:39.920 I can ask him directly

00:26:40.980 because the president,

00:26:41.900 if you say,

00:26:42.380 look,

00:26:42.540 how much trouble are we in?

00:26:44.560 You know,

00:26:45.200 and is this fixable?

00:26:46.320 Of course he's going to say,

00:26:47.260 yeah,

00:26:47.460 it's absolutely fixable.

00:26:48.440 But he needs to articulate

00:26:51.400 or somebody needs to articulate

00:26:52.800 how close to the edge

00:26:54.160 of the abyss we are.

00:26:55.760 I mean,

00:26:56.060 I,

00:26:56.320 you know,

00:26:57.600 Stu,

00:26:57.940 you know,

00:26:58.860 I have,

00:26:59.940 I've talked about this

00:27:00.780 economic stuff

00:27:01.600 over and over again.

00:27:03.000 I had a conversation

00:27:04.200 with somebody

00:27:04.860 who I can't say who,

00:27:08.200 but they,

00:27:10.140 believe me,

00:27:11.680 they absolutely know

00:27:13.820 what's happening

00:27:15.580 with our dollar

00:27:16.560 and the economy

00:27:17.440 and everything else.

00:27:18.400 Okay.

00:27:21.360 An official

00:27:22.140 in the government

00:27:23.160 that that's,

00:27:24.500 you know,

00:27:25.180 that's pretty much

00:27:26.020 what they do.

00:27:27.260 And I said,

00:27:28.280 look,

00:27:28.460 I'm trying to get

00:27:29.120 my arms around this

00:27:30.080 because I'm,

00:27:30.600 I'm thinking about,

00:27:31.860 you know,

00:27:32.520 why he called it

00:27:33.520 Liberation Day.

00:27:35.660 And I think it's because

00:27:37.180 he's changing

00:27:37.900 the whole system,

00:27:38.940 you know,

00:27:39.240 that was set up

00:27:40.040 after World War II

00:27:41.000 and yada,

00:27:41.540 yada,

00:27:41.800 yada.

00:27:42.000 And I said,

00:27:43.620 and I don't think

00:27:45.040 people understand

00:27:46.220 that if we,

00:27:49.620 if he fails,

00:27:50.820 this is it.

00:27:52.640 This is our last chance

00:27:54.440 to save America,

00:27:55.660 that we're over.

00:27:58.340 And this individual

00:27:59.280 put their hand

00:27:59.920 on my shoulder

00:28:00.560 and said,

00:28:01.520 no,

00:28:02.500 listen,

00:28:04.320 we are over.

00:28:06.520 So he said

00:28:09.380 the same thing

00:28:09.860 I did.

00:28:10.520 He just wanted

00:28:11.280 to make sure

00:28:11.940 that I understood

00:28:13.320 exactly what I was saying.

00:28:16.400 And I found that

00:28:19.300 to be a little terrifying.

00:28:21.680 And I don't think

00:28:23.460 people truly understand

00:28:25.220 this is it.

00:28:27.160 This is it.

00:28:28.680 If,

00:28:29.140 if you,

00:28:30.120 if you want

00:28:31.960 to have a country left,

00:28:33.680 we're going to go

00:28:35.200 and experience

00:28:36.120 tremendous pain.

00:28:38.880 I mean,

00:28:39.140 Ronald Reagan

00:28:39.660 talked about this.

00:28:41.880 You know,

00:28:42.520 there's going to come

00:28:42.980 a time when

00:28:43.500 none of the choices

00:28:44.340 are good

00:28:44.920 and everybody

00:28:46.120 wants to eat

00:28:46.860 around the edges

00:28:47.820 and not take

00:28:49.700 the whole pie.

00:28:50.700 You have to have

00:28:52.220 the whole pie.

00:28:52.980 You're going to,

00:28:53.340 you can't eat

00:28:54.200 around the edges

00:28:54.900 anymore.

00:28:56.620 You've got to fix

00:28:57.900 the entire thing.

00:29:00.120 And that is going

00:29:01.240 to be really

00:29:02.020 painful

00:29:03.040 and dangerous.

00:29:04.680 And I,

00:29:05.400 I don't know

00:29:07.740 if I can get him

00:29:08.300 to talk about that.

00:29:09.540 I mean,

00:29:09.720 how would you ask him?

00:29:10.860 Is that,

00:29:11.360 do you think

00:29:11.680 that's the way

00:29:12.060 he sees it?

00:29:13.260 Do you think he,

00:29:14.380 because it does seem

00:29:15.080 like with like

00:29:15.620 the types of maneuvers

00:29:17.160 he's made

00:29:17.780 when it comes

00:29:18.260 to foreign trade,

00:29:19.080 for example,

00:29:19.520 he really does see

00:29:20.420 not just something

00:29:21.560 we need to tweak,

00:29:22.380 right?

00:29:22.540 Like an absolute

00:29:23.600 monumental crisis.

00:29:26.160 Right?

00:29:26.740 Yeah.

00:29:26.960 So do,

00:29:28.920 you know,

00:29:29.540 because I,

00:29:30.920 that is a,

00:29:31.840 a big change

00:29:33.160 and I think

00:29:34.040 slightly different

00:29:35.160 than maybe

00:29:36.180 the perception

00:29:37.240 was going in

00:29:38.620 and that's,

00:29:40.760 you know,

00:29:41.080 something he's going

00:29:41.580 to have to kind

00:29:42.080 of deal with,

00:29:42.800 with the American

00:29:43.620 people.

00:29:43.980 And it's why

00:29:44.500 maybe,

00:29:45.100 you know,

00:29:45.400 he's having issues

00:29:46.120 with,

00:29:46.460 you know,

00:29:47.640 some of the

00:29:48.400 independents,

00:29:49.700 losing support

00:29:51.500 among independents.

00:29:52.300 I don't think

00:29:52.640 he's going to see,

00:29:53.420 you know,

00:29:53.640 I don't think

00:29:53.920 that's the way

00:29:54.220 he runs

00:29:54.700 his operation.

00:29:56.020 I don't think

00:29:56.260 he looks at it

00:29:56.700 and says,

00:29:56.960 okay,

00:29:57.200 well,

00:29:57.820 this isn't

00:29:58.220 polling well

00:29:58.740 right now,

00:29:59.300 so I don't

00:29:59.920 want to do it.

00:30:00.820 No,

00:30:00.980 he doesn't.

00:30:01.500 I think he

00:30:02.180 looks at it as,

00:30:02.940 he sees himself

00:30:04.100 and thank God,

00:30:05.480 he sees himself

00:30:06.520 as,

00:30:07.580 um,

00:30:08.940 if I don't do it,

00:30:10.780 no one will.

00:30:12.300 And I think

00:30:13.060 that's true.

00:30:14.440 Um,

00:30:15.100 I don't know

00:30:16.780 of any,

00:30:17.240 Donald Trump

00:30:18.200 is completely

00:30:19.380 unique.

00:30:20.840 You know,

00:30:21.520 he's been

00:30:22.300 forged in the fire.

00:30:24.220 uh,

00:30:24.980 where he wasn't

00:30:25.760 in 2016.

00:30:26.440 He is now.

00:30:27.700 I mean,

00:30:28.040 what are you

00:30:28.280 going to do

00:30:28.560 to him?

00:30:29.480 You try to

00:30:30.220 throw him 0.99

00:30:30.500 in jail.

00:30:30.960 You try to

00:30:31.300 throw his

00:30:31.600 family in

00:30:32.360 jail.

00:30:32.780 You try to

00:30:33.340 destroy his

00:30:34.020 business,

00:30:34.540 his reputation.

00:30:35.540 They've called

00:30:35.840 him every name

00:30:36.600 under the sun.

00:30:37.360 They tried to

00:30:38.020 kill him, 0.75

00:30:38.440 not once, 1.00

00:30:38.780 but twice.

00:30:39.900 I mean,

00:30:40.700 what are you

00:30:41.920 going to do

00:30:42.220 to this guy?

00:30:43.200 He doesn't

00:30:44.220 care.

00:30:45.380 And so I

00:30:46.360 really believe

00:30:47.640 that this is

00:30:48.780 so far beyond

00:30:49.820 him.

00:30:50.480 He knows,

00:30:51.420 look,

00:30:51.880 I'm here

00:30:52.600 at this

00:30:53.360 time for

00:30:53.960 a reason

00:30:54.460 and it's

00:30:55.620 to save

00:30:56.160 the country

00:30:56.800 in the way

00:30:57.720 I believe

00:30:58.160 it needs

00:30:58.500 to be

00:30:58.780 saved.

00:30:59.760 And so it

00:31:00.140 is a

00:31:00.380 complete

00:31:00.760 departure

00:31:01.340 from the

00:31:02.280 Great Reset.

00:31:03.180 But it

00:31:03.780 is a

00:31:04.400 Great Reset.

00:31:06.700 The world

00:31:07.540 has been

00:31:07.980 shaping us

00:31:08.740 for this

00:31:09.280 reset.

00:31:10.140 I've been

00:31:10.380 talking about

00:31:10.820 this since

00:31:11.400 2008.

00:31:12.900 They shaped

00:31:13.960 us for

00:31:14.400 this reset

00:31:15.160 to where

00:31:15.660 they would

00:31:16.200 manage the

00:31:18.440 decline

00:31:19.040 to a

00:31:19.940 certain point

00:31:20.580 and then

00:31:20.940 it would

00:31:21.160 kind of

00:31:21.460 fall apart

00:31:22.040 and then 0.94

00:31:22.440 collapse

00:31:23.060 into this

00:31:23.980 new system

00:31:24.540 that they

00:31:24.880 had built.

00:31:25.800 Well,

00:31:26.260 he's

00:31:26.640 dismantling

00:31:27.660 that

00:31:28.180 at the

00:31:29.320 same time

00:31:30.120 trying to

00:31:31.260 put the

00:31:31.900 system

00:31:32.320 back into

00:31:33.580 place that

00:31:34.120 they had

00:31:34.400 taken apart.

00:31:36.180 I mean,

00:31:36.960 if he can

00:31:38.940 pull this

00:31:39.360 off,

00:31:39.820 it's going

00:31:40.320 to be a

00:31:40.660 miracle.

00:31:41.120 We'll be

00:31:41.400 the first

00:31:41.840 people in

00:31:42.760 the history

00:31:43.260 of the

00:31:43.580 world to

00:31:44.220 pull this

00:31:44.620 off.

00:31:44.920 And it's

00:31:48.320 an interesting

00:31:49.260 time to be

00:31:49.720 alive.

00:31:49.960 It's going

00:31:50.060 to be

00:31:50.200 interesting to

00:31:50.720 see how

00:31:50.960 well this

00:31:51.280 works out.

00:31:52.480 All right,

00:31:52.960 more in

00:31:53.260 just a

00:31:53.560 second.

00:31:53.960 Standby.

00:31:57.680 This is

00:31:58.600 the best

00:31:59.180 of the

00:31:59.560 Glenn Beck

00:31:59.860 program.

00:32:01.340 Here's

00:32:01.740 something I

00:32:02.140 didn't think

00:32:02.640 I'd ever

00:32:02.940 say.

00:32:03.300 I'm going

00:32:03.480 to spend

00:32:03.640 more time

00:32:04.000 in Washington

00:32:04.460 D.C.

00:32:05.340 I've learned

00:32:05.940 so much

00:32:06.880 in the

00:32:07.440 last couple

00:32:08.400 of days

00:32:08.840 being able

00:32:09.860 to meet

00:32:10.180 with so

00:32:12.020 many people

00:32:12.520 and then

00:32:12.960 in the

00:32:14.380 off times

00:32:15.000 I went

00:32:15.580 to a

00:32:15.920 couple of

00:32:16.120 days ago

00:32:16.420 I went

00:32:16.680 to the

00:32:17.220 American

00:32:17.860 Art Museum

00:32:19.140 Smithsonian's

00:32:20.200 American

00:32:20.780 Portraiture

00:32:21.640 or something.

00:32:22.720 What a 0.82

00:32:23.260 dump that 0.99

00:32:23.880 place is.

00:32:24.800 My gosh.

00:32:26.060 My gosh,

00:32:26.940 what a 0.62

00:32:27.180 dump. 0.71

00:32:27.880 And so

00:32:28.700 woke.

00:32:29.200 I can't

00:32:29.580 take it.

00:32:30.100 I just

00:32:30.420 can't

00:32:30.800 take it.

00:32:31.760 And I

00:32:33.200 don't know.

00:32:33.420 I think

00:32:33.600 I'll talk

00:32:33.860 to the

00:32:34.060 president

00:32:34.340 off air

00:32:34.960 on that

00:32:35.400 because I

00:32:35.620 don't think

00:32:35.820 anybody else

00:32:36.300 cares.

00:32:36.740 But he

00:32:37.260 might.

00:32:37.660 It's just

00:32:38.100 a nightmare.

00:32:39.240 Just a

00:32:39.700 nightmare.

00:32:40.440 By the way,

00:32:40.860 thanks to

00:32:41.240 Steve Bannon.

00:32:41.840 I was on

00:32:42.160 Steve Bannon

00:32:42.560 show on

00:32:43.120 Monday.

00:32:43.820 When did

00:32:44.200 that air?

00:32:44.800 Yesterday?

00:32:45.640 Yeah,

00:32:45.880 it aired

00:32:46.080 yesterday.

00:32:46.540 It went

00:32:46.700 in Monday

00:32:47.220 to do

00:32:47.900 his show

00:32:48.340 and he

00:32:49.140 aired it

00:32:49.520 yesterday.

00:32:51.380 Interesting.

00:32:52.380 Really,

00:32:52.880 really

00:32:53.040 interesting.

00:32:55.280 We disagree

00:32:56.260 on things

00:32:57.020 but he

00:33:00.000 also agrees

00:33:01.780 with me

00:33:02.100 that we're

00:33:02.520 in trouble

00:33:03.000 economically

00:33:04.240 where people

00:33:05.060 need to

00:33:05.880 understand

00:33:06.620 where we

00:33:07.920 are in

00:33:09.060 the grand

00:33:09.440 scheme of

00:33:09.820 things.

00:33:10.120 and there

00:33:12.380 is a

00:33:12.740 serious 0.95

00:33:13.300 mental

00:33:14.480 illness

00:33:14.860 problem

00:33:15.280 happening

00:33:15.740 on the

00:33:16.060 streets

00:33:16.320 of

00:33:16.640 Washington

00:33:17.200 D.C.

00:33:17.780 I mean,

00:33:18.540 when you

00:33:19.880 get into

00:33:20.420 the Capitol

00:33:20.880 building,

00:33:21.560 it's even

00:33:21.980 worse,

00:33:22.340 but on

00:33:23.180 the streets

00:33:23.820 it is a

00:33:25.060 serious

00:33:25.660 mental

00:33:26.200 illness.

00:33:26.860 I mean,

00:33:27.100 I've never

00:33:27.400 seen anything

00:33:27.740 like it.

00:33:28.460 My wife

00:33:29.340 has been

00:33:29.900 with me

00:33:30.180 this week

00:33:30.580 and she

00:33:31.160 said,

00:33:33.540 I've only

00:33:33.980 heard her

00:33:34.180 say this

00:33:34.520 once,

00:33:34.860 she said

00:33:35.200 it about

00:33:35.460 10 years

00:33:35.860 ago in

00:33:36.200 San

00:33:36.360 Francisco,

00:33:36.720 we went

00:33:37.260 and people

00:33:37.700 were taking

00:33:38.100 a dump

00:33:38.560 in the

00:33:38.920 street,

00:33:39.440 you know,

00:33:39.640 right as

00:33:40.160 we're

00:33:40.300 walking.

00:33:41.840 And it

00:33:42.300 was just

00:33:42.600 a very

00:33:42.920 dangerous

00:33:43.360 feeling.

00:33:43.840 And it

00:33:43.920 was a

00:33:44.120 nice

00:33:44.340 section

00:33:44.660 of

00:33:44.820 San

00:33:44.980 Francisco.

00:33:46.060 And it

00:33:47.420 doesn't

00:33:47.720 exist

00:33:48.040 anymore,

00:33:48.320 but at

00:33:48.780 that time

00:33:49.140 there still

00:33:49.480 was a

00:33:49.720 nice

00:33:49.900 section

00:33:50.140 of San

00:33:50.420 Francisco.

00:33:51.340 And she

00:33:52.140 said,

00:33:52.400 I'll never

00:33:52.700 come to

00:33:52.980 this city

00:33:53.320 again.

00:33:53.940 She said,

00:33:54.360 I would

00:33:54.800 never walk

00:33:55.900 alone in

00:33:56.840 this city.

00:33:57.680 And I

00:33:58.200 said,

00:33:58.400 well,

00:33:58.520 I'd be

00:33:58.820 with you.

00:33:59.120 And she's

00:33:59.420 like,

00:33:59.640 walking

00:34:00.100 with you

00:34:00.460 is like

00:34:00.720 walking

00:34:00.980 alone.

00:34:01.220 And so

00:34:03.520 we're

00:34:04.380 walking

00:34:04.740 down the

00:34:05.080 streets

00:34:05.300 of

00:34:05.960 Washington,

00:34:06.620 D.C.

00:34:08.020 And this

00:34:08.700 guy starts

00:34:09.420 to circle

00:34:11.220 us on

00:34:12.120 a bike.

00:34:12.660 And he's

00:34:13.080 got to be

00:34:13.320 about 30

00:34:13.780 years old.

00:34:15.140 And he

00:34:15.820 just,

00:34:16.220 he starts

00:34:16.780 circling us,

00:34:17.640 you know,

00:34:18.020 riding his

00:34:18.520 bike around

00:34:19.120 us as we're

00:34:19.640 walking.

00:34:20.320 And he's

00:34:20.940 like,

00:34:21.120 I'm going 1.00

00:34:21.500 to kill 1.00

00:34:21.800 me some 1.00

00:34:22.180 white people

00:34:22.800 today. 1.00

00:34:23.860 I'm killing 1.00

00:34:24.720 white people 1.00

00:34:25.820 today.

00:34:26.420 And I'm

00:34:26.660 like,

00:34:27.500 I know,

00:34:28.520 I hate 1.00

00:34:28.860 those white 1.00

00:34:29.260 people, 0.94

00:34:29.600 huh?

00:34:30.280 And

00:34:30.720 he just

00:34:32.500 kept

00:34:32.680 circling us

00:34:33.200 and,

00:34:33.500 you know,

00:34:33.780 could be

00:34:34.140 you,

00:34:35.140 could be

00:34:35.820 you.

00:34:36.040 And he

00:34:36.260 drives

00:34:36.820 around.

00:34:37.120 He's

00:34:37.260 just like

00:34:37.580 staring at

00:34:38.100 me.

00:34:38.280 Could be

00:34:38.640 you today.

00:34:39.480 You never

00:34:40.340 know.

00:34:41.720 And I

00:34:42.240 thought that's

00:34:42.660 either mental,

00:34:43.280 well,

00:34:43.420 it is absolutely

00:34:44.120 mental illness

00:34:44.840 or that is a

00:34:45.700 societal thing

00:34:47.020 that has caused

00:34:47.900 this guy to

00:34:48.580 think that

00:34:48.920 that's totally

00:34:49.500 cool to do

00:34:50.080 that.

00:34:51.260 But it

00:34:51.840 is,

00:34:52.140 it's,

00:34:52.460 it's really

00:34:52.900 bad.

00:34:53.300 But the

00:34:53.700 good news

00:34:54.100 is the

00:34:54.880 Democrats are

00:34:55.460 here for

00:34:55.840 you.

00:34:56.340 There is a

00:34:56.940 story in

00:34:57.420 Politico that

00:34:58.120 I absolutely

00:34:58.720 love.

00:34:59.220 here's the

00:35:01.220 headline,

00:35:01.740 and I

00:35:01.980 quote,

00:35:03.140 there's a

00:35:03.700 reckoning to

00:35:04.460 be had.

00:35:05.780 San

00:35:05.980 Francisco

00:35:06.460 Dems move

00:35:07.360 to push

00:35:07.820 the National

00:35:08.460 Party to

00:35:09.080 the center.

00:35:11.940 Now that

00:35:12.580 needs to,

00:35:13.000 that's all you

00:35:13.640 need to know,

00:35:14.300 okay?

00:35:14.940 I mean,

00:35:15.320 the gutter in

00:35:18.260 which the

00:35:18.660 Democrats find 0.57

00:35:19.580 themselves now,

00:35:21.040 if the

00:35:21.540 Democrats from

00:35:22.740 San Francisco

00:35:23.700 is leading,

00:35:24.540 they're the

00:35:25.220 ones leading

00:35:25.720 the way,

00:35:26.260 it's how much

00:35:26.900 trouble they're

00:35:27.340 in.

00:35:28.060 The story

00:35:28.740 says,

00:35:29.040 quote,

00:35:29.280 they are

00:35:29.520 attempting to

00:35:30.120 lead by a

00:35:31.480 national

00:35:32.180 conversation

00:35:33.020 around what

00:35:34.000 it takes for

00:35:34.460 Democrats to

00:35:35.100 win by

00:35:35.680 rejecting what

00:35:36.880 they deride as

00:35:37.920 performative

00:35:39.020 politics and

00:35:40.660 virtue signaling

00:35:41.760 and embracing

00:35:42.920 pragmatism and

00:35:44.220 quality of life

00:35:45.200 issues.

00:35:48.780 Really?

00:35:50.380 This is rich.

00:35:51.780 Democrats from

00:35:52.900 the capital of 0.98

00:35:54.380 left-wing lunacy

00:35:55.540 now are claiming

00:35:56.940 they want to

00:35:57.520 drag their party

00:35:58.380 back to the

00:35:59.480 middle.

00:36:00.600 And in this

00:36:01.220 story from

00:36:01.880 Politico,

00:36:02.800 they say they're

00:36:03.620 now interested,

00:36:04.700 get this,

00:36:05.900 on fully

00:36:06.700 staffing police

00:36:07.900 departments,

00:36:09.160 erasing the

00:36:10.100 local regulations

00:36:11.020 that drive up

00:36:11.640 the cost of

00:36:12.180 building new

00:36:12.720 housing and

00:36:14.000 focusing on

00:36:15.040 public schools

00:36:16.080 and closing

00:36:17.220 the learning

00:36:17.820 gaps for

00:36:18.560 black and

00:36:19.120 Hispanic students

00:36:20.120 in math and

00:36:20.900 reading.

00:36:22.880 Now this is

00:36:24.000 wild because I

00:36:25.400 seem to remember

00:36:26.320 that these are

00:36:26.940 exactly the same

00:36:27.820 people that just

00:36:29.040 did the opposite.

00:36:29.960 They're the ones

00:36:30.420 shouting in the

00:36:31.100 streets to

00:36:31.600 defund the

00:36:32.140 police,

00:36:32.580 burning buildings

00:36:33.340 down,

00:36:34.040 yanking our

00:36:34.620 founding father's

00:36:35.500 name off of

00:36:36.040 school buildings,

00:36:38.120 passing Gaza-like 1.00

00:36:39.380 resolutions like

00:36:40.700 they're running

00:36:41.140 the U.N.,

00:36:42.880 turning our

00:36:43.400 cities into

00:36:43.940 giant performance

00:36:44.960 art galleries of

00:36:46.800 needles and 0.52

00:36:47.500 poop.

00:36:48.780 These are the

00:36:49.460 ones, and now

00:36:50.240 they're like,

00:36:50.620 you know what,

00:36:51.480 maybe we should

00:36:52.000 have a few more

00:36:52.580 cops, and we 0.98

00:36:53.740 should make sure

00:36:54.320 our kids can

00:36:54.840 read again and

00:36:55.680 do math.

00:36:56.760 Really?

00:36:57.520 So were you

00:36:57.900 defunding, when

00:36:58.740 you were saying

00:36:59.200 the defunding the

00:36:59.960 policing, was

00:37:00.480 that all, were

00:37:01.460 you joking about

00:37:02.380 that, or were

00:37:03.800 you just joking

00:37:04.420 about the math

00:37:05.060 and other subjects

00:37:05.760 being racist?

00:37:06.640 Because I'm,

00:37:08.900 according to the

00:37:09.800 Politico story,

00:37:10.860 they're also

00:37:11.340 calling for

00:37:11.840 imposing potential

00:37:13.220 age limits on

00:37:15.160 elected officials.

00:37:17.200 Why?

00:37:17.740 He's sharp as

00:37:18.260 a tack.

00:37:19.360 No, no, no, he

00:37:19.820 was sharp as

00:37:20.280 a tack.

00:37:20.700 There was

00:37:20.860 nothing to see

00:37:22.200 there.

00:37:22.780 Did you see the

00:37:23.380 Elizabeth Warren

00:37:24.100 interview she did

00:37:26.160 with some, oh my

00:37:27.260 gosh.

00:37:27.700 So good.

00:37:28.280 We talked about

00:37:28.720 it yesterday.

00:37:29.440 It is, that was

00:37:30.220 one of the most

00:37:31.420 revealing things I've

00:37:32.400 ever seen.

00:37:32.980 I mean, she

00:37:33.300 actually laughs.

00:37:35.260 She can't stop

00:37:36.340 herself from laughing

00:37:37.500 at the concept

00:37:38.520 that he was fine,

00:37:39.800 even though she

00:37:40.460 said it publicly

00:37:41.260 over and over and

00:37:42.020 over again.

00:37:42.500 Play that, Sarah.

00:37:44.140 Do you regret

00:37:44.740 saying that

00:37:45.380 President Biden 0.99

00:37:45.960 had a mental

00:37:47.460 acuity?

00:37:47.900 He had a

00:37:48.280 sharpness to

00:37:49.040 him.

00:37:49.400 You said that

00:37:49.940 up until July

00:37:51.000 of last year.

00:37:52.680 I said what I

00:37:53.820 believe to be

00:37:54.620 true.

00:37:55.260 And you think

00:37:55.880 he was as

00:37:56.260 sharp as you?

00:38:00.560 I said I had

00:38:02.060 not seen

00:38:03.000 decline.

00:38:05.980 And I

00:38:06.580 hadn't at

00:38:07.520 that point.

00:38:08.120 You did not

00:38:08.500 see any

00:38:08.800 decline from

00:38:09.680 2024 Joe

00:38:10.580 Biden to

00:38:10.940 2021 Joe

00:38:11.720 Biden?

00:38:12.780 Not when I

00:38:13.540 said that.

00:38:14.340 You know,

00:38:15.040 the thing is,

00:38:18.220 he, look,

00:38:20.000 he was

00:38:20.940 sharp, he

00:38:22.460 was on his

00:38:23.420 feet.

00:38:23.800 I saw him,

00:38:24.660 live event,

00:38:25.700 I had meetings

00:38:26.900 with him a

00:38:27.460 couple of

00:38:27.840 times.

00:38:28.080 Senator,

00:38:28.520 on his

00:38:29.120 feet is

00:38:30.920 not praise.

00:38:33.000 he can speak

00:38:33.800 in sentences

00:38:34.480 is not

00:38:35.540 praise.

00:38:36.540 Fair enough.

00:38:37.420 Fair enough.

00:38:38.700 Look,

00:38:40.540 it is,

00:38:41.680 the question

00:38:42.840 is,

00:38:43.240 whatever politician

00:38:43.680 says,

00:38:44.160 what are we

00:38:44.880 going to do

00:38:45.280 now?

00:38:45.860 Okay.

00:38:46.840 Yeah.

00:38:47.340 I mean,

00:38:47.560 it's a great,

00:38:48.780 it's a great

00:38:49.560 clip.

00:38:50.340 He does a

00:38:51.160 great job

00:38:51.920 interviewing her

00:38:52.900 as well,

00:38:54.340 pushing her on

00:38:55.100 this because it's

00:38:55.620 so obvious and

00:38:56.460 she's, it's so

00:38:57.620 comical that she

00:38:59.200 can't even keep a

00:38:59.880 straight face.

00:39:00.880 We use that term

00:39:02.140 a lot, you can't

00:39:02.740 keep a straight

00:39:03.120 face.

00:39:03.500 That's a great

00:39:04.340 example of it.

00:39:04.880 She legitimately

00:39:05.760 multiple times

00:39:07.280 laughs at her

00:39:09.080 own public

00:39:10.620 statements.

00:39:11.280 like it's

00:39:12.360 okay.

00:39:13.080 Like it's

00:39:13.720 absolutely okay

00:39:14.640 and we're all

00:39:15.060 in this joke

00:39:15.640 together.

00:39:16.320 We all get it.

00:39:17.200 He's sharp as

00:39:17.800 attack.

00:39:18.360 The guy is a 1.00

00:39:19.180 Roomba stuck in 1.00

00:39:20.140 the corner of

00:39:20.760 the room,

00:39:21.300 man, just

00:39:21.920 pounding into

00:39:22.800 the, I mean,

00:39:23.760 for the love

00:39:24.360 of Pete.

00:39:25.700 Now they're

00:39:26.300 saying, you

00:39:26.720 know, we

00:39:27.060 gotta have an

00:39:27.620 age limit for

00:39:28.400 why we can a

00:39:29.500 Bernie strategy

00:39:30.300 with the new

00:39:31.240 Bernie is, you

00:39:32.280 know, maybe

00:39:32.880 suboptimal right

00:39:34.120 now.

00:39:35.260 This is crazy.

00:39:36.260 And I want to

00:39:37.000 tell you that this

00:39:37.860 is what you need

00:39:38.320 to know about

00:39:38.780 this.

00:39:39.060 There is

00:39:40.880 zero sincerity

00:39:41.980 in this at

00:39:43.000 all.

00:39:43.780 You have no

00:39:44.440 reason to

00:39:44.860 believe this is

00:39:45.440 sincere from

00:39:46.260 the Democratic

00:39:47.100 Party at all.

00:39:48.080 But just pretend

00:39:48.700 for a second

00:39:49.240 that it is

00:39:50.000 sincere.

00:39:51.100 It would be

00:39:51.800 enormous.

00:39:52.660 It would be

00:39:52.980 an enormous

00:39:53.580 breakthrough.

00:39:54.340 The heavens

00:39:54.720 would part.

00:39:55.260 The angels

00:39:55.680 would sing if

00:39:57.100 they actually

00:39:57.760 de-radicalized

00:39:58.760 the Democratic

00:39:59.320 Party.

00:39:59.680 But they have

00:40:00.020 no intention

00:40:00.760 to do that.

00:40:01.700 No intention

00:40:02.200 to do that.

00:40:03.020 Here's what's

00:40:03.440 going on.

00:40:04.660 San Francisco

00:40:05.380 Democrats are

00:40:06.240 calling their

00:40:06.740 strategy new

00:40:07.860 pragmatism.

00:40:09.640 What does

00:40:09.860 that mean?

00:40:11.220 In other

00:40:11.700 words, you

00:40:11.960 don't have

00:40:12.320 any real

00:40:12.820 principles,

00:40:13.560 just a

00:40:13.860 willingness to

00:40:14.420 rebrand according

00:40:16.180 to which way the

00:40:17.160 wind is blowing

00:40:18.040 so you can look

00:40:19.300 like you just

00:40:19.900 want to get

00:40:20.300 things done.

00:40:21.200 They're not

00:40:21.560 sorry for the 0.78

00:40:22.220 clown show 0.88

00:40:22.880 virtual signaling 0.99

00:40:23.840 policies.

00:40:25.360 Look how sad

00:40:26.000 she is.

00:40:27.300 Look at how

00:40:27.680 much remorse

00:40:28.420 she has.

00:40:29.020 She's laughing

00:40:29.920 at how she

00:40:30.800 lied about the

00:40:32.240 guy who had

00:40:32.620 the finger on

00:40:33.560 the nuclear

00:40:34.040 button.

00:40:35.120 Nobody should

00:40:35.500 laugh at that.

00:40:36.440 Nobody.

00:40:37.280 Nobody.

00:40:37.560 They are just

00:40:38.820 terrified of

00:40:39.940 losing again.

00:40:41.040 Look, anytime a

00:40:42.280 politician says

00:40:43.120 look, look,

00:40:45.720 they're lying to

00:40:46.560 you.

00:40:48.480 San Francisco

00:40:49.180 wants to be the

00:40:50.160 model for

00:40:51.300 Democrats to

00:40:52.200 win back union

00:40:53.700 workers, immigrants,

00:40:55.980 young people,

00:40:57.200 voters they lost

00:40:58.180 because they were

00:40:58.720 too busy arguing

00:41:00.040 that standardized

00:41:00.780 tests are hate

00:41:02.220 crimes.

00:41:02.840 good luck with

00:41:04.240 that pivot,

00:41:04.760 guys.

00:41:05.240 Good luck.

00:41:06.700 Good luck.

00:41:08.440 You can't

00:41:08.880 just I as a

00:41:09.700 guy who has

00:41:10.880 worked with

00:41:11.240 chalkboards for

00:41:12.260 a very long

00:41:12.780 time, you can't

00:41:14.360 just wipe the

00:41:14.840 chalkboard clean.

00:41:15.860 The whole country

00:41:16.760 has seen your

00:41:17.300 math and I'm

00:41:19.340 sorry, you have

00:41:19.940 to scrub it

00:41:20.700 clean and you're

00:41:22.020 busy scrubbing.

00:41:23.540 But we all saw

00:41:24.740 what you wrote on

00:41:25.260 the chalkboard and

00:41:26.440 none of this adds

00:41:27.240 up.

00:41:27.940 Doesn't make any

00:41:28.660 sense whatsoever.

00:41:32.840 When I found out

00:41:35.840 my friend got a

00:41:36.660 great deal on a

00:41:37.620 wool coat from

00:41:38.260 Winners, I started

00:41:39.640 wondering, is every

00:41:41.380 fabulous item I see

00:41:42.580 from Winners?

00:41:43.640 Like that woman over 1.00

00:41:44.660 there with the

00:41:45.260 designer jeans.

00:41:46.360 Are those from 0.99

00:41:47.200 Winners?

00:41:47.920 Ooh, or those

00:41:48.880 beautiful gold

00:41:49.480 earrings?

00:41:50.340 Did she pay full 0.96

00:41:50.940 price?

00:41:51.700 Or that leather

00:41:52.180 tote?

00:41:52.720 Or that cashmere

00:41:53.340 sweater?

00:41:53.900 Or those knee-high

00:41:54.560 boots?

00:41:55.400 That dress?

00:41:56.180 That jacket?

00:41:56.860 Those shoes?

00:41:57.880 Is anyone paying

00:41:59.060 full price for

00:41:59.860 anything?

00:42:00.820 Stop wondering.

00:42:02.100 Start winning.

00:42:02.840 Winners find

00:42:03.840 fabulous for

00:42:04.660 less.
