The Glenn Beck Program - Glenn Beck’s Eye-Opening Message to Young Americans

00:00:00.000 the woke left the left ideology is a religion do you know who our real enemy

00:00:08.040 is the big business all over the world coupled with government coupled with

00:00:15.060 media the people are waking up the world is changing it's going to be amazing the

00:00:23.680 technology that we have the things that we can do and explore the diseases that

00:00:29.280 we can cure life human life will never be the same you were called for this time you are here

00:00:38.240 for a reason all of the eyes of the world are upon you please welcome glenn beck

00:00:59.280 well hello tp usa

00:01:06.080 hello hello hello uh i brought somebody in uh because i saw something that i just thought was

00:01:15.940 so incredible and it shouldn't be but it was and so i called this young lady uh it was the day after

00:01:24.180 and she was surprised to hear my voice and i said i would like you to come as my guest to tp usa

00:01:29.900 you may have seen her around i know she she was on the stage yesterday may i reintroduce you to

00:01:37.680 genie beeman

00:01:39.140 so we were backstage just a few minutes ago and

00:02:01.360 and genie said i don't know what's happening

00:02:06.580 the reaction has been what overwhelming yeah she said she didn't understand why

00:02:15.800 everybody was asking her for a selfie can you explain what you're curious about what you don't

00:02:22.460 understand because i'm just a normal person

00:02:27.120 and that is why you're here okay this is we were talking backstage and i said

00:02:39.380 when i was young when i was your age when she was your age there wouldn't have been somebody like

00:02:45.440 this up on stage because it was the normal thing to do now it's not and i i just i wanted to thank you

00:02:54.080 for being normal thank you for being normal

00:02:57.440 god bless you thank you

00:03:01.440 thank you

00:03:03.440 thank you

00:03:05.440 thank you

00:03:09.440 thank you

00:03:13.440 she told me she told me uh that she has a lot in common she understands erica she just

00:03:25.840 she lost her husband and she said there are days

00:03:31.040 that she has to hold on to her hold on to her chest because she feels like her heart's going to

00:03:36.640 explode without her husband so that's why she is who she is she is a

00:03:43.200 woman with great heart great heart

00:03:49.040 so i have a ton to share with you and honestly i had a completely different speech that i was

00:03:54.800 prepared to give you

00:03:55.600 today until i started watching and i last night started thinking about you and what you need to

00:04:02.720 hear i wanted to talk to you about history i wanted to talk to you about the economy and what was what's

00:04:07.600 coming i wanted to talk to you about what is coming for western civilization and to warn you

00:04:12.800 that today the times have changed and you are desperately needed desperately needed

00:04:22.480 but there's something else

00:04:23.520 that i think that i think that i think is more important

00:04:29.040 that you need to hear

00:04:31.760 we must stop fighting with one another

00:04:35.920 it is important to stand for the truth but people are not your enemies lies are your enemies

00:04:53.040 we each have a responsibility to stop to stop and point out lies to stop lies but you can't stop

00:05:02.080 lies you can't stop darkness with more darkness you can't stop hate with more hate you only dispel the

00:05:11.120 darkness of lies with the with the light of truth a single candle will light up a room if everything is dark one

00:05:24.080 cell phone will be seen everywhere in this dark room you are that single candle you are that light

00:05:34.880 and if you don't believe it i understand i do i get it i've i've spent a lot of time trying to think

00:05:42.400 back to when i didn't have white hair when i was your age and what i what i thought and what i

00:05:48.960 would be thinking if i were you if i were you and i'm 25 i was one when the world trade center came

00:05:56.960 down i would have no memory of that and i certainly wouldn't have a memory of the united states before

00:06:01.760 that you'd have no idea what it was like to get out of your car in front of an airport and right

00:06:07.840 walk directly to the gate you don't remember a time when you didn't have a cavity search

00:06:14.880 just to go onto an airplane you don't know of a time when you didn't have to have your iris

00:06:20.320 scan until if you were born in 2000 you don't know of a time when this country wasn't at war

00:06:29.040 or the world wasn't on the verge of global war that is a frightening place to live

00:06:37.120 when you were eight years old the financial crash happened and maybe your parents lost everything

00:06:44.720 but the big guys in new york the big guys at the banks they didn't lose everything nobody went to

00:06:51.440 jail and you and your family paid the price that none of them had to pay then 2008 2009 the cell phone

00:07:02.160 comes out social media comes out it's supposed to connect us so we can talk to our friends and it

00:07:06.960 does just the opposite it divides us it changes us then 2020 hits covid happens if your parents

00:07:15.200 survived 2008 now they face covid and if they happen to own let's say an ace hardware store a local

00:07:23.120 hardware store what happened they were shut down because their local hardware store was killing

00:07:29.680 grandparents but home depot was fine once again you saw the entire system turned upside down and the 0.75

00:07:38.880 little guy gets screwed

00:07:40.880 then with nobody going to jail you're also in school taught all kinds of things there men can be 0.97

00:07:50.960 women and women cannot be defined unless you're a scientist i guess 0.92

00:07:56.640 you are also told just study hard just keep your nose clean just do the right thing study hard go to

00:08:04.240 college get a degree keep your grades up and you'll get a good job well you did all of those things and

00:08:11.680 there are no jobs for you everything everything if i'm 25 years old i would think absolutely everything

00:08:20.080 is a lie i get it so let me start with this you are not crazy you are not lazy you are not imagining things

00:08:33.280 the truth is the rules have changed promises have been broken institutions have failed banks were rescued

00:08:43.040 while families like yours weren't and you were told to follow a path that would guarantee security

00:08:49.920 and it provides none of that but the most dangerous lie that you have been told

00:08:56.480 wasn't that the system failed you the biggest lie that you were told is that you don't matter

00:09:06.240 here's the thing

00:09:09.040 i want you to understand a broken system does not erase human agency

00:09:16.400 it reveals who still has agency every single generation since the beginning of time has inherited

00:09:26.880 a mess but only the great generations turn that mess into a mission and that's your calling

00:09:37.600 america

00:09:40.640 america was never built for comfort it was built for people who believed they could

00:09:46.080 shape their own destiny previous generations had it different but they didn't have it easier

00:09:52.720 they had world wars they had depression they had drafts they had the plague they had no safety nets

00:09:58.880 they had no guarantees but what they had that you don't have is belief belief belief in god belief

00:10:08.720 in responsibility a belief that there is a brighter tomorrow just over the horizon

00:10:14.640 not the other way around and you have been fed lies to keep you powerless and so many of your generation

00:10:31.200 are following the natural path of somebody who believes they are powerless you look to others to lead

00:10:40.720 you look for a leader may i propose one you you are the leader 0.90

00:10:53.680 as i was watching as i was watching speeches yesterday i thought to myself what do any of us clowns

00:11:01.440 who are up here have that you don't have what is it that we have that you don't have 0.66

00:11:07.520 a platform build one charlie did build a platform you you don't have an understanding of history or god or

00:11:19.120 economics or politics learn it you have the world's library in your pocket learn it the only thing that i

00:11:29.680 have that maybe you don't have is white hair that's the only thing that i have and that comes from a long life

00:11:40.080 of watching things play out over and over and over again so the only thing that i have that you don't have

00:11:46.800 is i've seen the pattern you're in the first phase of your life so you're seeing the pattern for the first time

00:11:54.080 but believe me all of this crap will happen again and again and again and when you have the white hair 0.98

00:12:00.160 you start to go oh crap this is a giant game i wish i would have known that a long time ago 0.99

00:12:06.560 you need to know one thing you hold every card you need you have everything you need everything and more 0.81

00:12:17.520 you have your intellect your intellect so you can now think you can reason you can learn

00:12:25.280 you're living in a country that today is still free enough to where you can ask questions and never

00:12:31.600 stop asking questions especially the uncomfortable questions

00:12:39.280 there is no such thing as a wrong question or a dangerous question you ask those questions but then

00:12:47.440 you find you find the truth you don't have truth given to you no one is here don't take anything

00:12:54.320 i or anyone else on this stage say as gospel because i'm not jesus none of us are you find the truth

00:13:01.760 yourself you can hear something but then you prove it to be true yourself

00:13:07.040 here's something else that you have that i think you dismiss you're here so if not you who if not now

00:13:26.160 when the other thing you have that you dismiss is that you're alive and that to me means proves the fact

00:13:36.000 god god does not make excess people you have a reason to be here you have a purpose there is a reason for

00:13:49.280 you to be alive god doesn't make excess people you're not excess you're the center of your life

00:13:58.640 i will tell you that uh i believe i'm 61 i believe two months ago i discovered the reason why i was born

00:14:13.920 and i had planned on talking to you about that because it's really important

00:14:19.440 but you need to hear something more important than any of that that i have to share with you

00:14:28.000 you need to believe in yourself you need to recognize the power that you have you don't need permission to

00:14:39.360 begin a a meaningful life you have three levers of power that you don't understand that you have right in

00:14:47.680 front of you every day you have one internal power no one can control your work ethic your honesty

00:14:56.320 your discipline your faith or like genie your response to others you own that don't let others dictate how you

00:15:06.880 respond

00:15:12.720 you also have compounding power the compounding power small consistent actions every day

00:15:23.520 will beat institutions every time because your skill compounds every time i met with charlie he was a

00:15:30.960 different and better person every time he was smarter he was he was deeper in with god he was more

00:15:39.760 successful and towards the end of his life it was compounding so rapidly that the changes were staggering but

00:15:48.800 he's the one who did it he just chose to do it reputation compounds integrity compounds intellect compounds

00:15:59.920 time is not on my side for compounding any of that anymore but you have all the time you need to be far

00:16:08.720 greater than anyone else you're going to hear speak today the third thing you have is spiritual power meaning is not

00:16:17.200 given by governments or markets purpose precedes prosperity god doesn't create excess people if you exist it means you're

00:16:28.400 needed you are not born too late you were born into this moment for a reason only you will find

00:16:36.480 and it requires courage to go out and find it and stand you are not

00:16:42.320 you are not

00:16:51.120 you are not a victim spread the word

00:16:58.320 history has never asked a victim to save it nor does history ask comfortable people to save it history

00:17:08.240 history asks capable people to save it you will discover if you shake off the lie of victimhood you

00:17:17.600 will discover the glory of responsibility when you take on responsibility when you concentrate

00:17:25.440 on responsibility you will discover purpose when you have purpose cynicism

00:17:34.400 it falls away and your life becomes a calling

00:17:39.520 concentrate on the first step

00:17:42.960 personal responsibility

00:17:46.400 let me leave you 0.94

00:17:48.000 with

00:17:49.280 a scenario

00:17:53.440 we're sitting in here and all of a sudden

00:17:56.320 the mic goes out

00:17:57.840 the lights go out

00:17:58.800 what's the first thing you do

00:18:02.080 first thing we probably all gasp or laugh a little bit gets a little uncomfortable and then

00:18:06.400 you probably will pull out your phone

00:18:09.600 and there's the light

00:18:12.000 and you will look at your phone and somebody at some point will realize there are no bars anymore

00:18:18.640 the lights go out not for a minute let's say it's not a glitch let's say they go out and stay out

00:18:24.480 at first the phones come out and somebody will say wow this is weird

00:18:30.080 then your phones die then the stores close then the sirens start

00:18:36.000 by tomorrow morning if the lights went out right now and they stayed out

00:18:40.800 and it was out everywhere by tomorrow morning

00:18:44.720 there would be a change in most people's eyes

00:18:47.520 and it would not be fear it would be confusion which is worse

00:18:56.240 when the system disappears people don't ask the question who's in charge

00:19:04.560 when the lights go out and stay out people begin to ask the question

00:19:10.960 who knows how to live without the system

00:19:13.360 some people will freeze some people will wait some people will demand answers i want answers

00:19:22.560 somebody's got to pay for this and they'll be demanding answers from institutions that no longer answer

00:19:29.360 others will just look around others will begin to look around and then check on neighbors

00:19:35.600 they'll begin to share food they will organize quietly

00:19:41.120 they will not wait to ask for permission they don't have or need special authority they don't have

00:19:49.440 official titles they have something else personal responsibility and here's the part that matters

00:19:56.960 when the lights go out that's when everyone will discover who they really are

00:20:03.200 no one will ask no one will ask who did you vote for no one will ask what did you post no one will ask

00:20:16.480 who were you angry at how angry did you get

00:20:23.520 whether you're prepared to stand or not that's the moment and we're at this moment the lights are flickering

00:20:32.480 i told you at the beginning you're not crazy things are not the way they should be

00:20:38.960 the lights are flickering so now what do you do when the lights go out

00:20:49.520 you need to restore your confidence the lights are flickering not just in markets and politics

00:20:56.400 but in belief in confidence in belief you've been told the dangerous things over and over again that

00:21:04.400 when the system fails you fail it's not true people matter more in those moments rather than less and

00:21:13.520 every great generation in history they were forged in a moment when something big broke not when things

00:21:22.640 were easy not when things were guaranteed but when people your age looked at one another saw this giant

00:21:30.240 mess they didn't create and went oh crap we'll fix it i'll take responsibility that's not weakness

00:21:40.320 that is the highest form of power because power is not the ability to control others

00:21:47.600 power real power is the ability to control yourself when no one is watching power is telling the truth

00:21:56.480 when lies are rewarded power is forgiving hatred when hatred is celebrated power is building when

00:22:08.160 everyone else is tearing down hear my message to you

00:22:17.040 you were not born too late you were born with everything you need

00:22:21.440 all you really need is belief in yourself and from there comes courage and courage is not loud courage is

00:22:30.880 just getting up when you've been beaten down every time you fall down you just get up again

00:22:36.160 that's what courage is getting up one more time after you fall that's it

00:22:41.840 courage is required now because civilizations are not saved by governments and people who understand

00:22:55.680 their power they fix things that person that will fix things is you so i urge you please leave here this

00:23:08.240 weekend filled with one thing if you take one thing away

00:23:13.920 is that you matter that you count that the ultimate power is there and it channels down to you and you can

00:23:24.640 accomplish anything so go out and do what charlie did live your life in a way that you are prepared for

00:23:33.520 when the lights go out do not curse the darkness become the light that others will see by we're counting on you thank you
