Hello, America. You know we've been fighting every single day. We push back against the lies,
00:00:04.460
the censorship, the nonsense of the mainstream media that they're trying to feed you.
00:00:09.060
We work tirelessly to bring you the unfiltered truth because you deserve it. But to keep this
00:00:14.540
fight going, we need you. Right now, would you take a moment and rate and review the Glenn Beck
00:00:19.420
podcast? Give us five stars and lead a comment because every single review helps us break
00:00:24.380
through Big Tech's algorithm to reach more Americans who need to hear the truth. This
00:00:29.100
isn't a podcast. This is a movement and you're part of it, a big part of it. So if you believe
00:00:34.400
in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top.
00:00:38.900
Rate, review, share. Together, we'll make a difference. And thanks for standing with us.
00:00:59.100
Down the road where shadows hide. Feel the dark on every side. Stand your ground when times get dark.
00:01:27.700
The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:41.060
Hey, I'm Trey Rado filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program in just minutes. We'll be back
00:01:50.500
with what I hope you find is one of the most interesting, engaging, really funny political
00:01:55.180
shows that you've ever heard. Coming up, the media painstakingly forced to report that the economy
00:02:01.560
under Donald Trump might be, could be, even is doing really well. This, of course, after a full
00:02:08.280
year of telling you that inflation is killing us and Trump tariffs will bury us. Also, Texas,
00:02:14.280
which is full of millions of Democrats, recruits only the best and the brightest to run for U.S.
00:02:20.680
Senate. And that is Jasmine Crockett, the gift that keeps on giving. Also, speech under threat. The
00:02:26.120
Trump administration cracks down on EU officials, saying that they are a threat to speech and are
00:02:31.700
elections here at home. Meantime, Democrats here in the U.S. also criticizing that pesky,
00:02:37.220
annoying thing called the First Amendment. Who do you trust more with your God-given right to free
00:02:43.000
speech? The Democrats or Germans? I'm Trey Rado. That and more next. We'll be right back with more
00:02:51.320
of the Glenn Beck Program. You probably heard Relief Factor commercials where somebody says to his
00:03:01.140
spouse regarding his pain. You don't understand. It's gone. Well, Sharon told us that's exactly how
00:03:06.500
she feels. She wrote to me and she said, Glenn, Relief Factor has helped me so much. I plan on
00:03:10.560
taking it for the rest of my life. I'm a walking testimonial. For me, it was more like Tanya twisting
00:03:16.320
my arm to give Relief Factor a try. I heard about Relief Factor all natural, created by doctors,
00:03:20.920
blah, blah, blah. I really agreed to try it, not in thinking it would work. I just wanted to get her to
00:03:26.680
stop telling me to do something and prove her wrong. Well, she was right again, of course,
00:03:30.820
and I got my life back. Not only did I not have to live in pain, I could thrive again. If pain has
00:03:37.180
been holding you back, maybe it's time you found out why so many people just like Sharon, just like
00:03:41.320
me, make Relief Factor part of their daily routine. Two out of three people who try it go on to order
00:03:45.900
more month after month. I'm one of them. Try the three-week quick start today. See how it works for
00:03:50.060
you. Visit relieffactor.com, 800-4-RELIEF. That's 800-4-RELIEF.
00:04:10.540
Hello, my name is Chaz. I typically anchor on NPR in San Francisco, and I'm so happy to be filling
00:04:16.800
in for Glenn Beck today. Today, we will discuss why taxpayers should pay for gender reassignment
00:04:21.640
surgery. We will ask, was Nancy Pelosi the greatest Speaker of the House of all time?
00:04:27.460
And yes, Queen. And is milk a symbol of white supremacy? Also yes. And in case you don't know,
00:04:33.120
I'm messing around. Hey, everybody. I hope you haven't had a heart attack or pulled your
00:04:36.100
car over to the side of the road. My name is Trey Radel, and I am filling in for Glenn today on the
00:04:40.520
Glenn Beck program, and I'm really excited in case you cannot tell. So before we begin today, I just wanted
00:04:47.120
to kind of give you a little bit of an intro of who the heck I am if we've never met before, and kind
00:04:53.160
of go through just a little bit of my life and my perspective before we begin. So first of all,
00:04:58.900
I host a show here in the free state of Florida on 92.5 Fox News, right here in the Fort Myers,
00:05:05.220
Naples area of Southwest Florida. I'm a husband. I'm a dad to three incredible kids. I do a bunch of
00:05:12.300
other stuff in the media and in politics, and I have had a pretty wild life full of ups and downs.
00:05:18.320
And I, again, share this to let you know kind of where I'm coming from. So I've been a TV news
00:05:23.320
reporter, a TV news anchor, built and sold a small business also in the media world, but I'd always
00:05:29.320
wanted to serve in Congress. I'd always wanted to serve the country in some way. And so years ago,
00:05:36.000
a lifetime ago, in my 30s, I ran for the United States House of Representatives right here in
00:05:41.420
Southwest Florida. In fact, you may even know our current Congressman Byron Donalds has been making
00:05:46.020
national headlines. He's running for governor now. And I ran more than a decade ago. I was the
00:05:52.100
underdog. I'd never run for anything in my life. And I won. And I served in the House of Representatives.
00:05:59.440
And this is where I share a bit of a commonality with the man we all know and love, Glenn Beck.
00:06:04.000
I hit a pretty dark period in my life at that time, and I was out of control. I was drinking way too much,
00:06:09.460
making terrible decisions. And I got busted buying drugs while I was a sitting U.S. congressman.
00:06:16.340
So maybe you saw it on ABC, NBC, CBS, Al Jazeera, BBC, anyway, other places. And I resigned. I resigned
00:06:23.840
from Congress, and it was the best decision of my life. Because since then, I've had so much time
00:06:32.360
to do the things that I love. First and foremost, being with my kids and my wife, but also doing
00:06:39.240
some fun things here and there, being an actor, working in music. However, the passion of my
00:06:44.880
life, what I love so much is politics. And what I hope to share with you today in giving perspective
00:06:52.480
and breaking down stories and understanding them is a perspective that I think very few
00:06:59.780
other conservative talk show hosts can give. And that includes everything from a peek behind
00:07:05.140
the curtain of Congress to taking you into the belly of beast of politics and more.
00:07:10.600
I'm going to get the calls and everything. I love your calls. I love interacting with
00:07:13.640
you. We'll get to that. First, I want to start today, though, with the media celebrating Donald
00:07:20.320
Trump. I mean, quite frankly, I wonder if this should actually be a moment of silence for CNN.
00:07:24.780
A new report shows the U.S. economy was much stronger than expected in the third quarter.
00:07:29.380
GDP grew at the fastest rate in two years. Americans are also seeing some prices ease at
00:07:36.120
the grocery store. The cost of eggs, milk, chicken and tomatoes are all down, as you see here on
00:07:40.360
the screen. It's got to be difficult for the media to do that. And you almost hear the pain
00:07:45.280
in her voice. What she just went through is how, in fact, the Trump economy is killing it.
00:07:52.980
I mean, it is past all expectations, because what have we heard for the past year? You know,
00:08:00.740
one month after Trump gets sworn in, every single prediction is that the tariffs are going to kill
00:08:07.920
us. Our deficits are going to go through the roof and inflation is only going to be exacerbated
00:08:13.580
by this crazy man in the White House, Donald Trump, who dares to talk about tariffs. You know,
00:08:20.080
President Trump really, I think, nailed it when he gave his address to the nation. And what I'm about
00:08:27.580
to play here goes into the politics of the midterm elections coming up. What President Trump lays out
00:08:34.520
here is how the economy is inherently tied to illegal immigration. A little bit of context here.
00:08:42.360
What you're about to hear is always struck down by liberals as more racist stuff. Look, I don't know
00:08:51.980
how many times they could continue calling Trump racist or white supremacist, or I mean, we've arrived
00:08:58.060
at Adolf Hitler, by the way. Where do you even go from there? You can't call him Pol Pot. No, I don't
00:09:03.780
think very few people know. You can't call him Mao, because the Democrats celebrate that. But everything
00:09:09.280
that Trump has said and Republicans in general simply get shot down with, well, you're a racist.
00:09:14.400
But listen to how President Trump breaks it down with no emotion, just stats and what the reality
00:09:22.940
is on the ground. The last administration and their allies in Congress brought in millions and
00:09:28.320
millions of migrants and gave them taxpayer funded housing. While your rent and housing costs skyrocketed,
00:09:34.660
over 60% of growth in the rental market came from foreign migrants. At the same time, illegal aliens
00:09:41.500
stole American jobs and flooded emergency rooms, getting free health care and education paid for
00:09:47.720
by you, the American taxpayer. They also increased the cost of law enforcement by numbers so high
00:09:54.380
that they are not even to be mentioned. For the first time in 50 years, we are now seeing reverse
00:10:00.500
migration as migrants go back home, leaving more housing and more jobs for Americans. In the year
00:10:07.260
before my election, all net creation of jobs was going to foreign migrants. Since I took office,
00:10:14.900
100% of all net job creation has gone to American-born citizens. 100%.
00:10:24.500
You know, Trump just simply lays it out there of what has been happening in our economy, how unfair
00:10:32.260
it is. I don't know how you can vote Democrat and not recognize what he's saying there. If you are an
00:10:39.060
American, you realize how utterly unfair things have been for the last several years under the Biden
00:10:44.820
administration, who flooded the country with millions and millions and millions of either illegal
00:10:50.340
immigrants or under these ridiculous pretenses of they're seeking asylum. Has anyone ever thought
00:10:56.100
about the ridiculousness of that, by the way? The fact that we open our borders, you go to a legal
00:11:02.180
port of entry, and you just use the one word. That's it. Asylum. You're in. It's like the secret
00:11:08.020
password to get into a club late at night. It's asylum. And what we end up with are people who claim that
00:11:14.740
they're seeking asylum from countries all over the world. In fact, ones that we like give foreign aid
00:11:22.580
to. So let's think about that for a second. You are a taxpaying American right now. Maybe you're headed
00:11:27.860
off to work. Your money goes to countries, billions of dollars, where we say, we're going to give you all
00:11:35.380
this money because we support you. We're going to help your infrastructure. We're going to help you with
00:11:39.700
the education of your citizens. We're going to help you feed your citizens, foreign country. And yet, at the
00:11:45.940
same time, the Biden administration says, Well, we recognize that this country that we're giving billions
00:11:52.420
of your dollars to is so terrible, so awful, that if you come here and you say the word asylum, you're in. And
00:12:00.500
Trump underlies all of this. And so, as we begin to wrap this segment up, you know, in, in knowing that I'm
00:12:07.700
speaking to a heck of a lot of people across the country right now, including people who may be
00:12:12.500
running for office that are Republican, like what Trump has done here is taken his strongest issue,
00:12:19.940
which is immigration and fighting illegal immigration, by the way, strongest issue among
00:12:25.300
Democrats included. They respect the guy for it. Independence, love the guy for it. Fellow Republicans,
00:12:31.700
we know the job that Trump has done when it comes to fighting illegal immigration and making sure that
00:12:36.980
people are removed that are here in these ridiculous pretenses. Everyone running needs to understand
00:12:43.140
politically what he did there was take his strongest issue and tie it that illegal immigration issue and
00:12:50.500
tie it to perhaps the most important, which is always the economy. He took his strongest issue,
00:12:57.700
ties it to the economy and says, effectively, look what I'm doing around the country. Well,
00:13:02.580
we will certainly have the media and liberals running around saying they're racist and they're
00:13:07.940
disappearing brown people or whatever ridiculousness that they want to come up with year after year
00:13:13.460
after year. That just becomes white noise. What he's done is taken this issue and said, this is really
00:13:22.180
about you. It's about you, the American taxpayer. I want you to have jobs. I want you to be able to walk
00:13:30.500
into the emergency room when you have a serious emergency and not wait for five hours because
00:13:37.540
the ER has to take care of everybody that's there, legal or not. And so Trump takes his strongest issue
00:13:44.740
there and ties it to the economy. And this is something that I think that Republicans across the
00:13:49.700
country should be doing. Quite frankly, that address that President Trump gave not long ago to the
00:13:55.460
nation. You know, it is important, obviously, for him to go out and use the platform to speak to voters.
00:14:02.660
But I also think that he was doing two things in that address to the nation. I think he was once
00:14:08.820
also hammering it to the media, like the media will continue to attempt to talk about how terrible
00:14:13.780
things are. But he's saying, nope, here are the facts. But he's also setting the stage and a message
00:14:21.860
for Republicans all over the country to understand. And I wrap up with this. Here's a this is CNN
00:14:29.540
bringing on a Harvard professor who knows that his job is to speak ill of the economy. But he just can't.
00:14:37.540
I mean, I was surprised it was a better number than anyone was expecting. Look, inflation's been very
00:14:45.540
high. It stayed high. It has not been coming down. But, you know, people were expecting it to be above
00:14:51.540
three percent. It was well below three percent. I mean, I think the president will take this as good
00:14:57.620
news. The investors will think that interest rates will get cut more. So, you know, it was it was a
00:15:03.460
positive news. There's no other way to spin it. Absolutely. Those last words are key. There's no other
00:15:09.780
way to spin it. I mean, that dude's basically on air saying, look, I know that you want me to come
00:15:16.740
on here and say how terrible things are and how awful Donald Trump is. But there's no other way
00:15:23.620
to spin it. We're going to take a break and be back. I am Trey Radle. Super excited to be with you.
00:15:31.460
Give the gift they'll actually use this holiday. Peace of mind. Skip the sweater. Skip the tie. Give
00:15:39.780
people you love something that protects them. Give them a Burna. B-Y-R-N-A. Burna is the world's
00:15:45.780
leader in less lethal personal defense. Compact. It's concealable. It's powerful. And the newest
00:15:51.700
Burna Compact fits in your pocket or your purse while delivering real stopping power up to 60 feet,
00:15:57.540
enough distance to confidently defuse a dangerous situation without any lethal force. I carry one.
00:16:03.140
I recommend everyone in my family have a Burna. I got one for everyone in my family. And it's legal
00:16:09.460
in all 50 states. You have to just be over 18 and not a moron. But it fires potent Connecticut aerosol
00:16:16.740
rounds that can stop an attacker in their tracks for up to 40 minutes. So give safety. Give confidence.
00:16:22.420
Give Burna. B-Y-R-N-A.com. Burna. B-Y-R-N-A.com. Go there now. Find the right launcher for you and your
00:16:43.860
Trey Radel in for Glenn Beck here. Let's get to some of your calls regarding affordable housing. Got
00:16:49.220
Duana in Arkansas giving us a shout. Hello. You're on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:16:55.060
Hi. Yes, I have another way he can tie immigration to the economy. He could say no illegals can buy
00:17:04.020
homes. And you know, Congress has to get busy. But anyway, he could say no illegals can buy homes
00:17:10.820
and get that competition out of the market. Plus, the big corporations like BlackRock and all that,
00:17:17.780
they keep buying all these single family homes and making the prices too high for
00:17:23.700
you know, families to compete against. They can only buy big apartment buildings and you know,
00:17:29.700
any kind of corporation like that. And we've got to get rid, the founding fathers would be appalled that
00:17:36.180
the government is the biggest landowner in the country. We need to get rid of a bunch of the land
00:17:43.940
that the government is holding. And you know, not the national parks or something like that. But
00:17:50.420
we have so much land that it's not being used well and whatever like that.
00:17:55.860
Need to put that on the market for people to buy homes there.
00:18:00.180
Yeah, I agree. Let me take some of that apart. And I appreciate the call like
00:18:06.100
regarding people residing here illegally in the country and purchasing homes.
00:18:11.380
I'm like, to me, it's just unconscionable the way that Democrats in general want to treat society
00:18:21.540
on basically keeping a status quo. Okay, so you have people that enter the country by the millions,
00:18:29.860
and there are people here certainly residing illegally. But then you have states like California,
00:18:35.220
and I'm sure others that allow for people who have barely been in the country at all,
00:18:41.780
have not assimilated, have not even learned customs, for example, driving the standards of driving,
00:18:48.180
they get a CDL license, okay, they can drive a semi truck. And I bring that example up very
00:18:52.900
specifically because of a tragedy, multiple tragedies that we've had here in the state of Florida,
00:18:58.500
where you have had people residing in this country illegally, who went and were able to drive semi
00:19:06.020
trucks. And in both cases, there was one of actually a family that I knew, who were killed on I-75. There's
00:19:14.660
another case too, of a man who came from the country of India who got his license in California. In both of
00:19:23.220
these cases, both men did a U-turn on the highway. Okay, obviously highly illegal. But I come back to
00:19:33.140
some of the broader implications of unfettered, uninhibited, illegal immigration. The biggest
00:19:41.220
problem is that there's no assimilation. Like look, I understand a few things. In fact, let me even sound
00:19:47.780
like a liberal here for a second. First of all, I do wholeheartedly believe that the overwhelming majority
00:19:54.740
of people who want to or do come to this country, simply want a better life. I get it. It doesn't
00:20:01.780
make it right. It doesn't change the fact that there should be millions and millions of deportations. But
00:20:07.860
you can understand that. I also understand that when people come to the country, even if it's through
00:20:12.980
a legal process, you're not going to have them speaking English fluently right away. As a guy
00:20:18.100
that I speak a couple other languages, it's really difficult. And that's why you see places that still
00:20:23.700
exist like a little Italy or things like that. Like in New York City, it just comes to mind.
00:20:30.180
And so you, you hear this or you see this happening and it's people who will come, but then they assimilate
00:20:37.860
in other ways. They learn customs, they learn the culture, they learn the language. And when you have
00:20:46.260
this mass illegal immigration, what it ends up in, it ends up as detrimental. It ends up as detrimental
00:20:54.740
to the country because you have people that end up forming their own little pockets that will never
00:21:00.100
get out of it. And they look at the United States as a rental unit. This is not home. This is where they
00:21:05.460
come and they leech as much as they can and then send money back to whatever country. And they, there
00:21:11.140
is no, there's no intention of living and being woven into the fabric of American society. We become
00:21:19.380
a rental unit. If you go rent a place versus buying a place, how do you treat it? And generally speaking,
00:21:26.340
you just, you don't treat it as well as you do your home. And one of the biggest problems in this
00:21:31.940
is that you end up where you have people who are not assimilating and then you get to the other
00:21:38.340
dangers of that. And, you know, for Democrats who, who are like, you know, we don't need voter ID,
00:21:45.540
which is by the way, arguably one of the most serious things that you can do that directly affects
00:21:50.020
your other, uh, your fellow citizens and allowing anybody to do whatever the hell they want. It simply
00:21:56.020
does not work. And this is a major problem that we face in the United States. So we're going to take a
00:22:00.900
break in just a little bit. When we come back, I'm going to talk about something near and dear to my
00:22:04.420
heart here from the free state of Florida, where I do a show here locally. I'm 92, five Fox news.
00:22:09.620
And for Myers Naples, we're going to talk about the elimination of property taxes, but tolls,

wherever you're at right now, listening, do you have ridiculous tolls? Give us a shout and share
00:22:21.220
the most ridiculous tolls that you have, whatever you've been through when you got those eight,
00:22:34.180
When a woman experiences an unplanned pregnancy, she often feels alone and afraid. So many times,
00:22:39.700
her first response is to seek out an abortion, but because of the generosity of listeners like you,
00:22:44.500
that search may lead her to a pre-born network clinic where she'll choose life, not just for her
00:22:50.420
baby, but for herself. Pre-born offers God's love and compassion to hurting women and then provides
00:22:56.340
a free ultrasound to introduce them to the life growing inside them. This combination brings the
00:23:02.020
ultimate miracle of life to life, which is why pre-born saves 200 babies every single day.
00:23:08.340
That changed my life just from that ultrasound picture. I'm going to keep my baby and I'm going to
00:23:14.260
keep growing and I'm going to be a great mom. $28 sponsors one ultrasound. And now through a match,
00:23:20.260
your gift is doubled, saving twice as many babies. Please donate. Just dial pound 250,
00:23:25.380
say the keyword baby. It's pound 250, keyword baby, or go to preborn.com slash back. That's

The Days of Ash, our new series revealing the moments when civilizations turn and how to spot them
00:24:12.820
Trey Radel, filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. You can find me on X, on Facebook,
00:24:18.980
etc. Trey Radel, that's T-R-E-Y-R-A-D-E-L. A huge thank you to Glenn for today. Right now,
00:24:26.180
I am broadcasting from the free state of Florida. And over the years, no matter where you're at,
00:24:32.580
you may have seen how the media has tried to destroy our current governor, Ron DeSantis,
00:24:38.660
and the fights that he's been in, I am convinced that Florida right now is the most conservative
00:24:45.780
state of all 50. Here, not only did you have the utter rejection of COVID lockdowns,
00:24:54.980
but we've done some pretty big, bold, conservative movements here. And now you've got the possibility
00:25:00.900
of the elimination of property taxes and even tolls. I'm curious, wherever you're at, my gosh,
00:25:07.300
if you're up in like Chicago, the Chicagoland area where I lived for years or New York or Jersey,
00:25:12.020
or even here in Florida on the East Coast, what kind of crazy tolls do you see? The phone lines are
00:25:16.980
open. 888-727-B-E-K. That's 888-727-BEC. What kind of crazy tolls do you have?
00:25:26.420
So to get to DeSantis proposing the elimination of property taxes, just for a second here, if I may,
00:25:32.900
I think that one of the biggest reactions I hear from Republicans, Democrats, people that really even
00:25:39.780
aren't into politics is, well, where government's going to get money. I want you to think about that
00:25:46.740
for a second. If you're a fiscal conservative Republican, why the hell would you even ask that?
00:25:53.780
Where's the government getting, is that what you want? You want the government to just be taking as
00:25:59.700
much money as possible for you? Do you really think that whether you are at the local level,
00:26:03.780
state level, or federal level, that the government truly keeps you in mind and responsibly takes care
00:26:11.620
of each and every tax dollar? And I contend, no. I think that even in Republican-controlled areas,
00:26:18.820
including Southwest Florida, which is deep red, there have been Republicans of the past
00:26:25.300
that do things like fund, you know, give handouts, corporate cronyism to businesses,
00:26:31.780
say, oh, well, we need to incentivize them to come here. Well, if it's a great place to live
00:26:35.620
and to work and be in, how about they just come here? Why do we need to give them taxpayer dollars?
00:26:40.900
And so I do think that even in conservative areas, certainly in this area, Republicans of the past
00:26:47.220
that used to be in control in county commissions and cities here, did obnoxious things with your
00:26:52.340
money. And so I think this concept of, well, where are they going to get the money is just,
00:26:56.580
I'm sorry, but if you're a fiscal conservative, you shouldn't be asking that. You should be saying,
00:27:02.180
how will my government respond to this in a more responsible way? Now let's go to irresponsibility.
00:27:09.860
Tolls. Governor Ron DeSantis now is saying we should consider eliminating tolls.
00:27:15.620
Tolls are the biggest symbol of government failure. There is no other way around it. I don't care where
00:27:23.460
you live. If you have a toll, that is your government telling you we failed. When you break down
00:27:31.220
government's core responsibilities at the really, at the most local level you can,
00:27:37.140
I mean, the most basic responsibilities that they would have would be infrastructure. So your roads,
00:27:43.700
your bridges, your water, uh, and safety, you could include that as well, making sure that everybody's
00:27:51.140
safe. So providing the local fire department, a sheriff's office or police department, if you're
00:27:56.260
in a municipality. And these are just some of the absolute most basic tenants that the government
00:28:03.700
should be taking care of with your tax dollars. And so when you have a toll road, what they're
00:28:09.140
saying to you is we failed, we spent your money in all these other places. We brought in businesses. We
00:28:17.620
incentivize this. We have DEI programs that we're spending millions of dollars on to just give jobs
00:28:23.300
away to people who probably are qualified. And now you, because we failed you, you have to pay to get on your
00:28:32.180
own road that should have been paid for with your tax dollars already. And this to me is just a, like
00:28:39.140
a psychotic break among Democrats. If you're a Democrat and you're listening right now and you're
00:28:44.260
over on Florida's East coast, which is totally controlled by Democrats. Here's what's really
00:28:49.540
happening. The rich do really well. It's like a Disney fast pass. You get to go and you get to pay
00:28:57.140
more to skip the lines at Disney. Why am I going to go wait to get at universal to get on Harry Potter
00:29:04.020
when I can get their fast pass? I'm going to go to Disney. I don't want to wait in these lines.
00:29:08.100
And so what you end up having is those poor people, the poor people get laughed at, waved at,
00:29:15.700
while rich person has their fancy little toll electronic card there. And they're blowing past
00:29:22.660
traffic in their Mercedes looking over and laughing at the plebe stuck in traffic. Why? I have a Disney
00:29:28.580
fast pass. Why? Because government failed you. And what they've done now is say, look,
00:29:34.580
for those of you that have the extra disposable income and you don't want to sit in traffic,
00:29:40.420
you don't want to be with those little poor people over there that you're blowing past. You can buy
00:29:45.780
the Disney fast pass. This to me, no matter where you live, more than likely you've been on a toll at
00:29:53.380
some point. And it is a symbol of what is essentially catastrophic failure of government.
00:30:00.180
Their basic responsibilities are your infrastructure, your roads, your bridges, your clean water,
00:30:08.020
and providing a fire department, police department to help take care of the citizens and make sure that
00:30:13.060
everybody is safe. Once you begin to go beyond that, look, I'm not a purist libertarian. I get it that
00:30:18.420
you have certain zoning rules and regulations and you don't want it to be crazy with whoever's building
00:30:25.140
here and there. I understand all of that, but it does not take away that this is one of their core
00:30:31.060
responsibilities where they have failed you. Let's get to some of your calls on tolls. Oh,
00:30:37.140
I'm super excited to hear from this. David in California, David, behind liberal lines there.
00:30:44.340
David, what kind of numbers do you pick? Do you have tolls there in California?
00:30:48.180
Well, first of all, I'm from Illinois and now I'm a permanent Florida resident, but I was involved in
00:30:56.340
Illinois politics really deep in the nineties, uh, during George Ryan, when he went to, went to prison,
00:31:03.540
like a couple other Illinois governors. But so get back to your direct point on toll roads. So
00:31:10.180
correct me if I'm wrong, but the whole premise behind the tolls were once the roads were paid for,
00:31:15.940
then we were supposed to keep a minimum total for maintenance. If I may interrupt just real quick,
00:31:21.140
any time that government introduces either a new tax or new toll, it is never ever going away, man.
00:31:28.020
Right. So during that time period that I was involved in politics, um, you know, the toll roads
00:31:36.660
up there, there's many scandals of abuse with the toll money, you know, people got caught with their
00:31:42.820
hands in the till and they went to jail. And that's the problem with government, especially in the liberal
00:31:48.180
states is all the controversial corrupt people that are involved hiring, uh, family members to high
00:31:56.820
paying jobs with the toll, uh, money disappearing, being used inappropriately. That's the problem
00:32:04.660
taxpayers have in these liberal states is if you're going to pay a high tax or a high toll, you demand
00:32:13.620
perfection and accountability. Everybody, when you go out and spend your money, whether it's a dinner or
00:32:19.060
buy a car or whatever, if you spend good money, you get good quality service and quality food. Then
00:32:25.060
at the end of the evening, you're happy with what you received. The problem up there is all this
00:32:30.180
money goes into these programs, especially a tollway and it's being wasted. It's, it's being,
00:32:35.860
it's corrupt and no one trusts the system or the government anymore. And all they want to do is just
00:32:41.300
keep raising taxes and throwing more money. It's a dumpster fire up there. That's the reason why I
00:32:49.060
Uh, well said, I appreciate the call. And yes, I mean, I, I, that's why we see people fleeing
00:32:54.420
from California, Illinois, New York, uh, blue states, uh, that like you're listening there right
00:33:01.140
now. I just don't understand it. How do you deal with it? I mean, I, I get it. If you,
00:33:04.660
not everybody has the means to just pick up and move to an Arizona, Texas for whatever. Uh, but it
00:33:10.580
really is, uh, horrifying the way that hardcore leftist governments treat you their own, you know,
00:33:19.620
you're the one that employs these people. I lived in Chicago for years. Uh, fantastic city. I have a
00:33:26.180
real affinity actually for a Chicago and New York city. Um, I think it's a damn shame what's happened
00:33:31.540
to them over the past several years. They've been running to the ground. Lord knows what we're going
00:33:36.340
to get though with socialism in New York city. Looking forward to that. Uh, but the way that
00:33:41.140
they abuse their tax payers, that the people that employ them, uh, it really is a sin. And I come
00:33:47.380
back to where we started here, which is right now as I'm broadcasting from the free state of Florida,
00:33:53.780
like I love the fact that we got a governor who really, really has some, some guts is the word I'd
00:34:01.620
use in this morning time program versus something more provocative. And, uh, you know, he has been
00:34:07.380
behind pushing forward to eliminate property taxes altogether. By the way, one real quick thing,
00:34:14.740
the way that I love DeSantis when he negotiates that I think more Republicans should be doing
00:34:20.020
is he starts way far, right? Cause by the way, he's got some people in the Florida legislature that
00:34:26.500
are not exactly that conservative who are already pushing back against this.
00:34:30.260
And DeSantis starts with a premise like number one, you never own your own home. You never do
00:34:34.420
try not paying taxes. You never own it. It's going to get taken. And what I'd also come back to is
00:34:40.420
what I often hear is people ask, well, where are governments going to get the money? And I'm sorry,
00:34:46.420
that's the wrong approach. It should be. How can government make itself better and more efficient
00:34:53.460
to deal with this and to move forward? And by the way, it makes them more accountable.
00:34:58.500
Should they have to raise a local tax sales tax, whatever it may be? Okay, great. Put that on the
00:35:05.060
ballot and see if your citizens that employ you decide to move forward with that. And so he started
00:35:11.620
with this with the property taxes. We'll see what the Florida house does because wherever you live,
00:35:15.140
I think that this could be a model for other red States. Uh, and the tolls issue, I don't know where
00:35:20.580
that's going to go, uh, in the next year in, in our governor's last year here, but, um, but wherever
00:35:26.420
you're at, I know you're listening right now, whether you've called in or not, and have paid
00:35:30.260
a ridiculous amount in tolls all of your life. And that is a absolute symbol of a catastrophic failure
00:35:38.900
of our government. And there's no other way around it because that's one of the core responsibilities
00:35:43.940
that they have. We're going to take a break. And when we come back speech under threat, and this
00:35:48.900
is not a fringe issue of just AOC. We're talking about Democrats that are questioning the validity
00:35:54.340
of the first amendment. I'm Trey Radel filling in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck program. We'll be right
00:35:59.300
back. Never put your future in another man's saddlebag or your lunch. You never know where
00:36:23.380
We are only a few weeks into winter and already brutal, cold, huge snowstorms, and of course,
00:36:28.100
power outages. Think about this. If the power goes out when it's really cold, do you have a way to
00:36:33.060
keep yourself and your family warm? Winter power outages can even be life-threatening. We learned
00:36:38.260
this in Texas not too long ago. That's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta off-grid heater from
00:36:44.260
my Patriot supply. It's a space heater. It doesn't use electricity or propane. It runs on something called
00:36:50.100
canned heat, and it's an indoor safe fuel. With Vesta, if you have it stashed in your closet, you know you
00:36:56.420
can keep warm, keep your kids warm no matter what, and it even doubles as a stove to cook your food in case
00:37:01.140
you have an electric cooktop. The best part is right now you can get the Vesta and a bunch more
00:37:06.420
preparedness gear as free gifts when you order the winter survival kit from my Patriot supply. Go to
00:37:12.260
mypatriotsupply.com slash Glenn. See everything that's included. The offer is not going to last long, so go to
00:37:17.460
mypatriotsupply.com slash Glenn. Mypatriotsupply.com slash Glenn.
00:37:33.620
Trey Radel filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. Great to be with you. Coming from you here
00:37:39.140
from the sunny, beautiful, free state of Florida. You can find me on X at Trey Radel. That's T-R-E-Y-R-A-D-E-L.
00:37:48.180
Fantastic to be with you here as we begin to wrap up this first hour. And also, I love your calls. We're
00:37:53.380
going to be getting the calls as well. 888-727-B-E-C-K. Right now, I want to share John Kerry with you.
00:38:01.220
For all of the talk that you hear about, oh, it's just the fringe left that is threatening speech,
00:38:09.940
we have heard this repeatedly from mainstream Democrats, of which, by the way, AOC is now
00:38:17.860
clearly front and center as a mainstream Democrat, regardless of her, at times, insane or radical views.
00:38:25.460
But here's someone who's really considered an institutional Democrat. Listen to this man
00:38:32.660
on free speech. It's really hard to govern today. You can't let me just stop that guy there. Like,
00:38:39.780
that's the premise. That's the whole thing that you're about to hear. You know, this whole thing,
00:38:46.020
the First Amendment, the most important one, it just, it's just kind of a pain. You know,
00:38:54.100
I, why, why can't I tell these people what to do? Why can't I force them to comply?
00:39:02.260
Why are they all so dumb? It's really hard to govern today. You can't, you know, you know,
00:39:07.300
there's no, the referees we used to have to determine what's a fact and what isn't a fact,
00:39:12.020
that kind of, you know, been eviscerated to a certain degree. And, um, people go and that people
00:39:17.380
self-select where they go for their news or for their information. And then you just get into a vicious
00:39:22.820
cycle. So it's really, really hard, much harder to build consensus today than at any time in the
00:39:28.180
45, 50 years I've been involved in this. I, you know, there's a lot of discussion now about how
00:39:32.900
you curb, uh, those entities, uh, in order to guarantee that you're going to have, you know,
00:39:38.420
some accountability on facts, et cetera. But look, if people go to only one source and the source they
00:39:43.860
go to is sick and, uh, you know, has an agenda and they're putting out disinformation,
00:39:49.380
uh, our first amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to just
00:39:54.820
hammer it out of existence. Oh, that's a, that's a heck of a closer. The first amendment
00:40:01.700
basically stops us from hammering it out of existence. That is wild. I mean, like for all of
00:40:08.980
the talk about fascism and a dictatorship, like if you took those words and put them into Donald Trump's
00:40:17.780
mouth and Donald Trump said that there'd be blood in the streets, it like it's really hard to
00:40:24.500
comprehend that you've got John Kerry there. He can't believe people self-select. How dare these,
00:40:31.780
these people decide what news they're going to watch. I mean, you know how much they would just love
00:40:37.780
to get back to the days where the New York times told you everything that you need to know.
00:40:43.780
And you had one, maybe two or three anchors who told you what you need to know. When we come back,
00:40:51.460
why I love Democrats, why I love the ACLU. That more, we come back. I'm Trey Radle filling in for
00:40:59.060
Glenn here on the Glenn Beck program. You can find me on X, Facebook and more. We'll be right back.
00:41:43.780
We're going to be right when we get came here, and it's the team after going from Justin Bay.
00:42:32.580
Trey Radle filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:39.800
It's a movement to put flags and pictures of guns around U.S. classrooms.
00:42:48.140
Every public school filled with the exact text of the Second Amendment.
00:42:56.540
Also, yesterday, I want to reflect on a little football.
00:42:59.420
I don't know about you, but part of my day was spent on the couch watching football.
00:43:03.120
And I swear, like, every second of every moment in football now is like,
00:43:13.180
This yardage brought to you by FanDuel and DraftKings.
00:43:17.340
And I just wonder if the NFL should just end and have everything bought by FanDuel and DraftKings.
00:43:24.300
How governments, though, support this gambling.
00:43:27.320
We're also going to talk about the big Powerball winner.
00:43:29.060
And when we come back, why I love Democrats in the ACLU.
00:43:42.780
I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust.
00:43:47.040
And the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust.
00:43:56.660
Trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake.
00:44:02.520
And that's why I started RealEstateAgentsItrust.com.
00:44:05.380
I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes.
00:44:08.480
So we built RealEstateAgents, I trust, to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents all over the country that we work with that we have verified that they will help you have the most successful and good real estate transaction possible.
00:44:22.700
Our network agents share our sensibilities, have great track records, are good and decent people, and I trust them to help you with your real estate needs.

00:45:14.400
There was a day when Democrats, classical liberals, were absolutists on free speech.
00:45:22.220
The Democrats that I grew up with were the ones who were out there front and center supporting speech in every way, shape, and form, whether it was for up-and-coming hip-hop artists, whether it was for rock and roll stars, artists, and more.
00:45:41.420
However, it was always the Democrats who were right there saying that we support free speech, free speech at all costs.
00:45:49.300
The ACLU, in fact, used to be the best at this.
00:45:54.200
And the ACLU used to be very nonpartisan when it came to speech in particular.
00:46:00.580
You all may recall that there have been times where the ACLU absolutely took the conservative side, even Rush Limbaugh at one point, and the ACLU used to be this way.
00:46:10.860
And I think that you had a massive shift where we saw this, not even so much during COVID, which is where everything gets exacerbated.
00:46:21.680
But really, when you see the Republicans begin to win the House more often, you know, for many, many decades in our history here in the United States, certainly in modern history, Republicans really didn't win the House a whole lot.
00:46:38.560
And yet, once you started seeing that happen more often, I'll even go back to the so-called Tea Party days, which, by the way, the media tried to take that term, just like they take MAGA and make it a complete negative associated with horrible things and turn it into something it isn't.
00:46:55.140
But once you had the rise of the Tea Party Republicans, who were big and bold, but also the popularity of Fox News rising, and even other channels like Newsmax, as you see the rise of that, what you see happening are those who used to stand with free speech at all costs totally abandon it.
00:47:18.380
Now, if you're just joining us, we played a clip from John Kerry, who talked about how, basically, the First Amendment's a real pain in the butt.
00:47:27.180
You know, this whole thing, people, they're just choosing where to go to get their disinformation and misinformation, and we just, there's just more that we should be able to do to eliminate that.
00:47:38.640
And I play him in particular because this is an institutional Democrat, John Kerry.
00:47:43.960
As much as you may detest his hypocrisy, especially on the environment, this is a guy who has really been kind of a standard bearer, along with Hillary Clinton.
00:47:53.760
Hillary Clinton, numerous times, has talked about ways that, you know, we have this First Amendment, but we need to rein it in.
00:48:01.540
And now a new generation of Democrats is also abandoning core principles that liberals stood for.
00:48:07.900
You know, I do think that several members of Congress and some of my discussions have brought up media literacy because that is a part of what happened here.
00:48:21.900
And we're going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so that you can't just spew disinformation and misinformation.
00:48:38.440
It's one thing to have differing opinions, but it's another thing entirely to just say things that are false.
00:48:47.260
And so that's something that we're looking into.
00:48:51.740
We're looking into, you know, what that is, is we're looking for ways, as she says, rein in media.
00:49:02.420
Now, we saw the ways that the Biden administration was able to do this in a really effective way while Biden was in power.
00:49:12.900
We have no idea who was signing off on naming from executive orders to who was in charge at all.
00:49:18.520
But clearly, it was a group of hardcore leftists that wanted to stifle speech at all costs.
00:49:24.300
And what they did was begin to leverage themselves with either the highest law enforcement of the land or the power of the White House to tell places like then Twitter to knock conservatives off, just to use algorithms to stifle their voices or de-platform people.
00:49:41.680
Those people complied and you saw what happened.
00:49:48.220
So what we have a taste of, and especially during covid, is the way that they would execute that.
00:49:53.680
And again, abandon all of the principles that Democrats that I grew up with used to embrace.
00:50:02.020
And for all of the talk about Trump, it's a fascist Republicans are fascists.
00:50:08.100
First of all, I dare anybody to even begin to define that that keeps claiming that over and over.
00:50:15.440
Because seemingly it is the behavior that the Democrats are engaged in.
00:50:21.280
And that's exactly what was happening under Biden.
00:50:25.620
When you see what's happening in Europe in particular, even Australia, after the massacre over there, after you have Islamo fascists who just decide to start shooting up people at a Hanukkah event in Australia.
00:50:38.660
The talk still is about, you know, the real problem are these neo-Nazis, white supremacy and the ridiculousness that comes from that.
00:50:46.940
But what you see statistically is that in Europe, especially, and it's coming even stronger in Australia, is that you have voices that are censored.
00:50:59.720
And the commonality that they have overwhelmingly are those on the right.
00:51:09.720
This is a clip from 60 Minutes speaking with prosecutors from the country of Germany and how they determine what you should or should not be able to look at, listen to, and who gets fined.
00:51:29.960
And it's a crime to insult them online as well?
00:51:33.320
The fine could be even higher if you insult someone in the Internet.
00:51:42.420
If we are talking here face to face, you insult me, I insult you, okay, finish.
00:51:47.080
But if you're in the Internet, if I insult you or a politician...
00:51:51.560
If somebody posts something that's not true and then somebody else reposts it or likes it,
00:52:00.120
In the case of reposting, it is a crime as well because the reader can't distinguish whether you just invented this or just reposted it.
00:52:13.340
It really, by the way, this is one of the fundamental differences between the United States of America and the rest of the world.
00:52:24.360
It's not like you're there and listening to some sort of dictatorship out of Cuba, China, Venezuela, or whatever.
00:52:36.180
Now, I think it's a little awkward, if I may, that the Europeans are leaning on Germans to decide who may or may not have free speech.
00:52:48.260
But I'm not going to let Democrats do it here either.
00:52:53.260
When you go back to the way, for example, AOC or John Kerry that we heard from earlier, what they're really telling you is that they use really two pretenses here.
00:53:03.480
Number one, there's harmful misinformation and disinformation.
00:53:11.540
So, misinformation, disinformation, why don't you tell me what that is on the left?
00:53:17.460
Would it be things like Hunter Biden's laptop doesn't exist, it's all fake?
00:53:23.360
Would it be things like the prediction that the Biden administration is going to make vaccines mandatory?
00:53:36.560
I mean, the examples of how many things that were supposedly conspiracy theories for years all became true.
00:53:47.260
Like, I think, quite frankly, I think conspiracy theorists are batting a thousand when you take a look around.
00:53:52.960
But they call it misinformation and disinformation so obviously when it ends up being things that are inconvenient for them or affect them.
00:54:02.220
I mean, hell, you look at the ridiculousness with all the gender stuff in their party.
00:54:07.560
What's such a weird culture that they're there and they're tripling down on, yes, men can get pregnant.
00:54:16.660
But I come back to the second premise as well, which is, you are too stupid.
00:54:23.100
John Kerry says, you got these people out there self-selecting where they get news.
00:54:30.460
Are you really preaching to the American people on media literacy?
00:54:35.480
By the way, what a condescending term, by the way.
00:54:39.880
That, to me, is a consultant said, here's a great phrase that we're going to use.
00:54:45.920
And you tell people that, that they just don't get it.
00:54:51.600
And that, to me, actually exemplifies the Democratic Party today.
00:54:55.060
Let's use consultancy words and tell everyone how stupid they are because we're so much brighter.
00:55:03.600
And the reality is, I mean, I'm not getting emotional here, but it kind of breaks my heart.
00:55:08.900
For liberals out there listening right now, I have always been pretty darn libertarian.
00:55:17.420
And I've never been the guy that's like, I'm on this side, I'm on that side.
00:55:23.760
There have been times where I can agree with certain policies that have been put forward by Democrats and the way that the liberals that I grew up with were just absolute purists on free speech.
00:55:40.020
It breaks my heart that that party has changed so dramatically now.
00:55:44.580
I mean, you know, growing up as a child of the 80s and 90s and and watching the way that Democrats would take the sides of rock stars, hip hop artists to just whatever artists.
00:56:00.700
And again, including at times the ACLU siding with conservatives, that is gone.
00:56:07.740
It is no longer a part of the Democratic Party at all when you have mainstream institutional Democrats calling for what is essentially dismembering the First Amendment.
00:56:28.200
That's T-R-E-Y-R-A-D-E-L filling in here for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
00:56:32.880
When we come back, a move to bring the, speaking of the First Amendment, the Second Amendment into public schools on every wall.
00:56:49.440
He spent 40 years as a body man and car painter.
00:56:52.680
Bob heard me talk about relief factor and decided, give it a shot.
00:57:04.160
But after just eight days on relief factor, I'm 75% better.
00:57:12.240
These are the kinds of transformations that are common with relief factor.
00:57:15.660
In fact, two out of the three people who try it go on to order more month after month.
00:57:20.720
I wasn't banging on cars all day like Bob, but my pain was in my hands and it was debilitating nonetheless.
00:57:27.140
I was quickly losing hope and I feared the rest of my life.
00:57:32.540
So if you're living with daily aches and pains, relief factor might be the real deal for you.
00:57:41.400
Visit relieffactor.com or call 800, the number four, relief.
00:57:57.140
Trey Radel filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
00:58:05.000
A bunch of conservative groups get together and they say, we got a great idea.
00:58:09.640
We are going to put the text of the second amendment in every public school classroom.
00:58:22.400
We want pictures all over of guns, different guns.
00:58:27.820
And they will be on every wall of every public school classroom.
00:58:34.640
Now, you could probably even make a case for that because after all, it's part of the constitution.
00:58:38.780
Second amendment, no matter how uncomfortable it makes certain people, is one of your God-given rights in the Bill of Rights.
00:58:44.200
But let's think about this, though, for a second.
00:58:47.640
They're also, this group, they're talking about making an LGBT flag.
00:58:52.880
And that would be Luger, Glock, Beretta, and Thompson would be the guns that they'd be celebrating on the LGBT flag.
00:58:58.960
Now, if you can't tell, I'm just totally full of it.
00:59:06.220
What is it with teachers around the United States wanting to put the pride flag everywhere?
00:59:11.800
Something just happened here recently in the state of Florida, where I'm broadcasting from right now, in southwest Florida, just north of us, in St. Pete, where the state now is saying you cannot have the rainbow flag painted on public property, like on roads.
00:59:32.320
And what they did just north of us, in a much more liberal area than here, is they painted all the bike racks, the colors of the pride flag.
00:59:47.440
And you know that they're like, oh, not only do we get Governor DeSantis, we're getting Trump, we're getting all the MAGA Republicans on this one.
00:59:59.160
While it's petty, the reality is, whether the left wants to hear this or not, is that the pride flag, or even the pride movement, even if it started decades ago with good intentions, that somebody said, you know what, my soulmate is someone of the same gender.
01:00:18.500
Okay, me, I'm libertarian, I don't care what you do, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, it doesn't matter, I have friends who are gay, whatever they want to do doesn't matter to me.
01:00:30.600
Here's the reality, the pride flag has 100% become a political weapon.
01:00:40.240
And it's unbelievable to me that, like, this has just been accepted for so long.
01:00:46.000
Because now, I want to go back to, like, flipping this for a second.
01:00:49.580
Could you imagine, if you're on the left, could you imagine people coming into your classroom and being like, yep, here's what we're going to do.
01:00:57.680
By the way, insert southern accent here to make it even more stereotypical.
01:01:11.960
And we're going to put pictures, and we're going to celebrate guns, and we're going to have the Gadsden flag.
01:01:16.620
We're going to have flags everywhere, all representing the Second Amendment and your right to be able to protect yourself, your family, and your private property.
01:01:32.280
Because what they would assert is that, well, this is clearly for political indoctrination.
01:01:38.380
That you're going, and you're placing flags that celebrate the Second Amendment in our child's classroom.
01:01:46.840
That would never, ever, ever be tolerated by the left.
01:01:51.560
But then how do you expect people with certain religious values, not just Christian, by the way, Muslim, those in Islam, rejecting the pride flag.
01:02:06.400
How can you even begin to assert that it's not political indoctrination when that is exactly what it is?
01:02:14.180
And so you see this in all parts of the United States, where, oh, you can't have the flag here.
01:02:22.160
Well, we're just going to go and put it up here or there.
01:02:24.360
And it's always the same tune, over and over, that this is done for equality and pride.
01:02:30.940
And again, I never question the original intentions of people that have their heart in the right place and say things like, I want to be treated equally.
01:02:42.820
And when you make this comparison, when you flip-flop these roles of putting a bunch of gun flags in parts of the, in classrooms throughout the United States, liberals would, without a doubt, lose their minds.
01:02:59.960
When we come back, we're going to talk a little gambling, a little football.
01:03:22.780
Every so often, something happens that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are.
01:03:27.100
And we can't afford to take our rights for granted.
01:03:30.600
And the good people at Patriot Mobile have been doing that now for more than 12 years.
01:03:34.660
The truth is, there's only one provider that boldly stands in the gap for Americans who believe freedom is actually worth fighting for.
01:03:42.840
Not only are they leading the red economy, they're also outpacing the competition in technology.
01:03:47.720
Patriot Mobile is one of the only carriers now offering premium access to all three major U.S. networks, giving you nationwide coverage and service you can count on.
01:03:56.320
They also offer unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, and international roaming, internet backup, and so much more.
01:04:04.160
You can activate in minutes from your home or office.
01:04:09.080
Make the simple choice to support Patriot Mobile and help them do good.
01:04:13.360
Go to PatriotMobile.com slash Beck or call 972-PATRIOT.
01:04:16.460
And use the promo code BECK for a free month of service.
01:04:18.480
It's PatriotMobile.com slash Beck, 972-PATRIOT.
01:04:24.000
What's really going on with the banks, the border, and your kid's school?
01:04:31.780
A new website, a new app, a new way to understand the world we're living in.
01:04:56.560
Trey Radle, filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
01:05:10.540
Part of the Merry Christmas yesterday was sitting around and watching some football.
01:05:16.280
You know, the NFL at times has been absolutely pretentious, condescending, and ridiculous
01:05:20.600
in some of the cultural stuff that they've gotten into.
01:05:24.780
Like, my favorite thing on Sundays is to watch football, hang with my kids, hang with my wife,
01:05:38.140
Watching football these days, if you caught some of the games yesterday, has become one
01:05:42.500
of the most ridiculous, like, oversaturated gambling markets that you could possibly imagine.
01:05:52.240
When you, like, I feel like when I watch it, it's like, um, let's take a look at the Draft
01:05:59.800
King replay brought to you by FanDuel from the Draft King camera, sponsored by Hard Rock
01:06:04.520
Casino, where you know you could go and gamble on the NFL.
01:06:07.840
And you have literal shows and segments that are now all about the odds, what to bet on,
01:06:16.360
And it's all such a ridiculous premise on the way that governments, including Republicans,
01:06:25.660
Now, look, I, if we've never met before, um, I'm pretty darn libertarian.
01:06:31.720
I, I think that like 90% of my philosophy is just leave me alone.
01:06:38.780
Uh, the other 10%, Hey, if you want to hit me for some taxes here and there, great.
01:06:42.740
I think that a core responsibility is to protect our country.
01:06:46.580
Uh, so regarding gambling, you know, if, if you're an adult and you've got the money
01:06:54.360
Uh, I, I mean, me complaining about seeing ads way too much on the NFL or the ridiculous
01:07:00.640
First world problems, but there truly is an utter hypocrisy in the way that our governments
01:07:08.800
engage in gambling while telling you what you can or cannot do.
01:07:12.880
And I think that one of the greatest examples of this is actually something that has grabbed
01:07:20.780
And that's the power ball, the lotto in any way.
01:07:25.400
Uh, so someone in Arkansas just won more than a billion dollars.
01:07:33.160
And whoever you are, if you want to be friends, by the way, I'm happy to be the, uh, the lotto.
01:07:42.460
When, when I say this, I think there's certain things in life that we, we see every day, but
01:07:50.560
we don't put much thought to, and it just kind of goes overhead.
01:07:53.520
And then when you say it out loud, it's like, dang, that's right.
01:07:57.860
So in most States, wherever you're listening right now, it is probably illegal for you to
01:08:08.260
have fellow friends, consenting adults over to your house and play a game of poker for
01:08:17.260
Generally speaking, in all 50 States, there are some pretty stringent rules on what you
01:08:23.280
are allowed or not allowed to do in your own home, in your own private property.
01:08:28.600
When it comes to gambling and they got rules for this, like you, in some States, you could
01:08:35.920
Now we always say, well, that never really happens.
01:08:40.580
That's one of the things that this is me now sounding like a crotchety old man.
01:08:45.520
And I really hate it when a reaction to, well, they never do that anyway, about a law that
01:08:52.880
If that is in fact the case, then it should not be a law, but we have these laws that tell
01:08:59.720
you if you and fellow consenting adults want to gamble that in some States you could be locked
01:09:06.320
And in every single one of those States, think about this, you pay your tax dollars to your
01:09:13.720
government, you're in your state every year, one way or another, you're paying them.
01:09:22.980
They take your tax dollars and they advertise to you and they tell you, come bet with us.
01:09:36.040
Come gamble with us, but you're not allowed to do it at your home.
01:09:40.000
And it's so ludicrous that they take millions of dollars and they create entire ad campaigns
01:09:48.760
And they do the funny little skits here in Florida where I'm broadcasting from now.
01:09:52.780
We have the, the lotto ad counselor, whatever it does, where they have a digital campaign,
01:09:58.980
a TV campaign, radio campaigns, where they take your tax dollars and advertise to you to
01:10:10.560
Cause it's for the kids, which is the, which is what you get the answer.
01:10:15.460
Anytime a politician, by the way, doesn't truly have an answer for something.
01:10:21.460
It's for the kids like that, or it's some sort of a threat to your life.
01:10:27.260
So they take your taxpayer dollars and they've set up an entire system to advertise to you
01:10:34.120
that in fact, by the way, it's coupled also at times with PSA warnings about not to gamble.
01:10:39.900
I mean, think about the lunacy of this while you tune in to any sport these days, you go
01:10:45.760
bet on anything and it's all state sanctioned or here in Florida, for example, we have an
01:10:50.760
actual monopoly on who you're allowed to bet with.
01:10:54.340
They tell you, you can't do this in your own private home.
01:10:56.160
They run PSAs telling you gambling may be dangerous, but worse, they advertise the lotto
01:11:00.960
to you cause it's for the kids and, and they spend millions to convince you to just stop
01:11:07.240
at the local gas station and pick up a few tickets every day.
01:11:11.300
You know, just go there, scratch off to buy the big one, Powerball.
01:11:15.700
And when they advertise this to you, I think the most hilarious part is they need to warn
01:11:21.160
you about their own product that they're telling you to get involved in.
01:11:25.720
You know, when you watch, uh, the ridiculous, like prescription pill commercials where you
01:11:33.200
see, it's always like a couple, by the way, has to be interracial.
01:11:37.200
According to today's, today's rules, an interracial couple just galloping across the field with
01:11:46.260
And while they're telling you lovely things like, if you take this, you may have thoughts
01:11:56.140
So when your state advertises to you, they need to tell you, if you are by a product, it's
01:12:03.100
We need to put a disclaimer on here and on screen that says, if you think that you have
01:12:11.480
And they go through 18 different states, by the way, which is also hilarious.
01:12:26.740
I don't know what that is, but on every disclaimer, they have a separate number there.
01:12:31.780
It'd be simply speculating that New York just wanted to find a way to spend more money.
01:12:37.620
We're not going to go with the rest of the U.S. here.
01:12:41.560
We're going to set up our own shop so we can throw away more money in New York.
01:12:47.180
But it's so insane to me that you have state-sanctioned gambling that they advertise to you to participate in.
01:12:58.780
And you all know, halfway serious here for a second, that the realities are the people, statistically,
01:13:05.060
who spend the most money on the lottery are people that have no business doing so.
01:13:14.720
But this, to me, as I sat there and I'm watching football, and all of the, again, the monopolies,
01:13:21.440
the state-sanctioned gambling, the way that different laws are set up throughout the United States,
01:13:27.800
your own government, and I say this too, by the way, to be an equal opportunity shot taker,
01:13:33.400
this is absolutely knock on Republicans as well, that they take this money from you
01:13:38.500
and they spend it to advertise you with fair warning that, you know what,
01:13:44.100
if you decide to get involved in this whole lotto thing, but remember, it's for the kids.
01:13:49.040
If you decide, then you may have a gambling problem, so you might be an addict.
01:13:56.660
Now, contradicting myself on a little bit of this, I will say that something that is interesting
01:14:01.300
and worth observing, as the United States goes into, I'm going to use the word liberal,
01:14:08.340
but I don't mean it really in a political sense, liberalizing more things, such as medicinal
01:14:13.540
marijuana, recreational marijuana, gambling, the fact is right now, with gambling, is that
01:14:20.100
calls to addiction centers and more have gone through the roof.
01:14:24.140
Now, again, I'm pretty purist libertarian on certainly a lot of domestic issues, but you
01:14:31.300
cannot deny the fact that they correlate, that the more that you allow the legalization and
01:14:37.500
the billions of dollars pumped into advertising, and again, when you see something like, you
01:14:41.620
know, instant replay brought to you by FanDuel from the DraftKings, I mean, you have FanDuel segments
01:14:46.720
brought to you by DraftKings and DraftKings segments brought to you by FanDuel.
01:14:49.580
Oh, my God, it gets confusing, but when you see this, what you also cannot deny is the
01:14:58.400
correlation of people that have a few problems with this.
01:15:03.440
I've been to Vegas not in a long, long time, and again, while no problem with it, it is something
01:15:10.200
that needs to be recognized as our country, culturally, begins looking at liberalizing
01:15:16.320
all kinds of things, from whether it's medicinal marijuana, recreational, to even gambling.
01:15:23.000
We're going to take a break, and when we come back, Texas, I want to talk with you.
01:15:28.180
Texas, I believe, is settled on who will be their Democratic nominee running for the United
01:15:37.000
States Senate, and that is Jasmine Crockett, the gift that keeps on giving.
01:15:42.640
When we come back, we're going to play her talking about illegal immigration in this country,
01:15:48.540
and I'll tell you, I'm going to have a very liberal reaction, in fact.
01:15:54.660
We're going to go a little liberal when we come back.
01:16:01.480
I am Trey Radel, and again, you can find me on X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
01:16:08.240
I'm filling in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
01:16:15.940
Here's what I found on the web about that private conversation you just had.
01:16:42.280
Give the gift they'll actually use this holiday.
01:16:47.940
Give people you love something that protects them.
01:16:52.840
Burna is the world's leader in less lethal personal defense.
01:16:59.400
and the newest Burna Compact fits in your pocket or your purse
01:17:02.380
while delivering real stopping power up to 60 feet,
01:17:05.900
enough distance to confidently diffuse a dangerous situation without any lethal force.
01:17:11.640
I recommend everyone in my family have a Burna.
01:17:25.460
that can stop an attacker in their tracks for up to 40 minutes.
01:17:36.800
Find the right launcher for you and your family.
01:17:52.780
TRIRADLE, filling in for Glenn here on the Glenn Beck program.
01:17:58.300
Texas and certainly the rest of America listening right now,
01:18:01.660
Jasmine Crockett is clearly the gift that keeps on giving.
01:18:05.300
She is apparently going to be the Democratic nominee
01:18:11.880
There's just a few political things that go with this.
01:18:14.340
I do find there to be a really interesting aspect to this
01:18:18.820
in terms of the institutional Democratic fundraising machine.
01:18:22.920
You know, when you have people like Beto O'Rourke of Texas
01:18:26.740
who ran Francis, this is his name, or Stacey Abrams in Georgia,
01:18:33.160
I'm very curious to see whether or not Crockett has the ability to do that
01:18:38.500
given some of the crazy stuff that comes out of her mouth.
01:18:42.460
So I had to go around the country and educate people about
01:18:48.480
or the fact that we are a country of immigrants.
01:18:52.080
The fact is, ain't none of y'all trying to go and farm right now.
01:19:30.020
You know, there's a very serious component to what she's saying here.
01:19:37.340
That's a really profound statement that she makes there.
01:19:48.180
We now have a new slave trade and it's illegal immigrants in the black market.
01:19:58.460
And this is why I cannot understand the liberals of today that the liberals of yesterday were the ones who had a heart and had compassion.
01:20:08.840
You know, the black market, do you know what that does?
01:20:16.480
Like, the most disaffected component of the U.S. population when it comes to the inability to get jobs
01:20:24.520
when you have a mass influx of illegal immigration are young blacks and Hispanics.
01:20:32.540
Because as Jasmine Crockett, they don't pick a cotton.
01:20:38.440
I mean, what a ridiculous question to how many of you are out there to go farming.
01:20:45.740
But she spouts off this kind of stuff and it truly, it truly exemplifies what she's really saying and what the Democrats are doing.
01:20:56.640
When you have uninhibited, unfettered, illegal immigration in the country, it is bad for everyone.
01:21:05.280
It's bad for Americans and, by the way, for the illegal immigrants that have been within black markets
01:21:12.080
and been in the horrible circumstances that are occasionally presented to them in the places that they work.
01:21:22.540
I also don't buy, by the way, I don't buy into the concept that any new immigrants to this country, all are going to be Democrats.
01:21:32.880
But when you adhere to a legal way of doing things, I think that the place that everyone normally and naturally gravitates to is conservatism.
01:21:44.360
We're going to take a break and be back for the final hour of the Glenn Beck Program.
01:23:24.160
I've already received my first message from someone who I knew many years ago that's listening.
01:23:32.600
These are stupid, racist, Republican talking points.
01:23:41.860
I'm Trey Radel, filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:23:49.060
And just one reaction that I've gotten is very typical from the left, that there is no listening to data, facts, logic, reason.
01:23:59.700
And how long have we been told that the biggest threat to the United States today is the white Christian male?
01:24:06.000
Now, this comes after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
01:24:09.540
This comes after multiple people identifying these different genders shoot up schools and churches.
01:24:17.360
We're going to touch on that coming up next, as well as a few of the top stories of this year.
01:24:22.360
Again, I am Trey Radel, filling in for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program back in a minute.
01:24:26.900
We are only a few weeks into winter and already brutal cold, huge snowstorms, and, of course, power outages.
01:24:37.660
If the power goes out when it's really cold, do you have a way to keep yourself and your family warm?
01:24:42.800
Winter power outages can even be life-threatening.
01:24:47.760
That's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta off-grid heater from MyPatriot Supply.
01:24:56.720
It runs on something called canned heat, and it's an indoor-safe fuel.
01:25:01.160
With Vesta, if you have it stashed in your closet, you know you can keep warm, keep your kids warm no matter what.
01:25:06.600
And it even doubles as a stove to cook your food in case you have an electric cooktop.
01:25:10.400
The best part is, right now, you can get the Vesta and a bunch more preparedness gear as free gifts
01:25:16.160
when you order the winter survival kit from MyPatriotSupply.
01:25:23.340
The offer is not going to last long, so go to MyPatriotSupply.com slash Glenn.
01:25:30.760
Trey Radel, filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
01:25:44.100
This has been Head to the Ride, and thank you so much for the kind messages I've either received on social media,
01:25:50.980
the texts, we can get to our local line here in southwest Florida, where I'm coming to you from here in the free state of Florida.
01:25:57.820
It's been a wonderful ride, and I'm very, very thankful.
01:26:02.980
In this final hour, I want to start with something that profoundly affected me this year as we reflect on this year,
01:26:10.520
as we watch the left engage in exactly what they say they're fighting against,
01:26:23.200
misinformation and disinformation, as we've touched on this show.
01:26:26.040
They're out there saying that Charlie Kirk was, you know, insert description, racist, misogynist, xenophobe, as they always like to use.
01:26:43.600
And it's a damn shame the way that they cherry pick like 10 seconds of a larger conversation and begin to attempt to shape his legacy on the left.
01:26:59.880
And the reality was Charlie Kirk was a profoundly open-minded, Christian-loving man.
01:27:09.500
Like, when you go and you get context with the way that he would speak to people,
01:27:15.680
the way that he would invite people up to talk that had radically different opinions than him,
01:27:28.480
And Charlie Kirk, you know, paraphrasing him here, would always say, he'd ask,
01:27:35.220
And he would ask, well, you know, why do people get divorced?
01:27:40.540
Why do couples, they're together for all these years, why do they get divorced?
01:27:44.160
And he would always point to the first sign of that is when people stop communicating.
01:27:50.500
And would then historically go into how when people stop communicating with each other in society,
01:27:58.680
And his whole goal was to bring people together, to talk, and yes, to debate, because debate is healthy.
01:28:06.800
It's something our college universities don't even do anymore.
01:28:09.900
You're not allowed to engage in debate if, God forbid, you're on the right.
01:28:13.940
And what he was doing was something that, again, classical liberals, Democrats of the past,
01:28:20.820
apparently used to like, getting involved in debate, having free speech, sharing ideas.
01:28:25.280
But they've shut that down now, and Charlie Kirk, who goes location after location,
01:28:31.900
university after university, to go and have great conversation, to speak with younger Americans,
01:28:38.920
and yes, engage in debate, that was never hurtful.
01:28:46.380
You would never see him directly go after someone, ever.
01:28:49.980
And as he does this, to try to bring people together, to have conversations, they kill him for it.
01:29:00.860
And, you know, very quickly, I hate sitting here droning on about myself,
01:29:06.840
but if you are just joining us here in this last hour of the Glenn Beck program,
01:29:11.040
I've lived a pretty wild life of ups and downs.
01:29:16.960
And I have been in very public positions most of my adult life.
01:29:28.020
And I've been in media, including political media, like we're doing right now.
01:29:39.140
and I know that that can happen at any time to anyone.
01:29:43.900
And yet, the craziest part is that to this day,
01:29:49.760
what we keep hearing is that the biggest threat to American society is the white male.
01:29:57.280
Again, what I come back to is that this concept of misinformation and disinformation
01:30:03.980
that is not based in stats that so-called Democrats,
01:30:07.260
so-called liberals who supposedly believed in the Constitution at one time,
01:30:17.760
And in this case, the shooting and killing and very public assassination of Charlie Kirk
01:30:23.000
was done to shut the mouths of people like Glenn Beck
01:30:28.360
and all of the others that you may listen to or watch,
01:30:32.740
even if it's someone like Joe Rogan, who, by the way,
01:30:41.720
the Democrats, as they see people like Charlie Kirk
01:30:44.960
get these massive numbers of followings and others,
01:31:05.600
And the way that people like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan explain it,
01:31:28.120
this Democrat party went off the freaking rails.
01:32:00.120
Democrats these days doing as much as they can on social media.
01:32:02.600
One thing that I've noticed that kind of goes along with this superficial belief of we need our own Joe Rogan is the way if you're on social media, go look at Gavin Newsom, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and a host of others.
01:32:17.900
And I promise you, if you scroll through just a few of their posts, you will see them all dropping F-bombs.
01:32:24.820
Because a consultant told them that they would be cool.
01:32:36.980
He'll occasionally drop a curse word here or there.
01:32:38.820
And what's happening, though, because Trump tends to speak big and powerful, and even if he's not cursing, he's using powerful phrases.
01:32:50.660
And so what you see now are Democrats who believe that they have to use curse words to keep up.
01:33:00.160
And that, to me, again, kind of goes very so rogue.
01:33:02.260
And they were like, they just they feel compelled.
01:33:13.140
Maybe you do in your private life, but to go on to social media and start dropping the F-bomb?
01:33:21.840
But all of it goes along with the campaigns that they are waging against the right today.
01:33:28.820
And I come back to the horrifying death of Charlie Kirk and why they did it.
01:33:37.040
That, to me, by the way, is clearly a terror event.
01:33:43.160
And that is to send, that is a public execution in front of thousands of people there on that campus.
01:33:50.120
And, by the way, not millions, but billions with a B of people all over our planet who watch that pretty much in real time.
01:33:59.560
And that video, like you, probably, it will never leave my head.
01:34:03.800
But sitting back and just allowing them to try to take control of this conversation is unacceptable.
01:34:13.320
And that's why I do have nothing but respect and love for the way that you see people who will not back down to this.
01:34:20.040
And so, in reflecting on this year and some of the stories, I also wanted to wrap with the way that the left reacted to Charlie's death.
01:34:30.440
To me, actually, I think that there are two deaths that speak volumes about the left today.
01:34:37.380
Anyway, when Charlie Kirk was shot and killed in front of us all, I won't play the clips now.
01:34:48.800
But there were clips all over about people cheering his death, singing songs about his death.
01:34:55.000
And, you know, there's a point where you look and you get angry and you're like, you're a grotesque people.
01:35:02.440
Then there's another part where, like, I kind of feel sorry for you.
01:35:06.340
Like, what kind of messed up life do you come from where you're here celebrating the death of a father and husband who died in front of his children and wife?
01:35:19.180
But that's the left, the party and the culture of peace and tolerance and diversity, except diversity of thought.
01:35:29.480
But the other one that really gets me, that is darkly hilarious, is the death of Dick Cheney.
01:35:37.000
See, everybody, Dick Cheney was Hitler before it was cool.
01:35:45.600
Now, for those of you that are young and listening, Dick Cheney, years ago, was blamed for being the architect of wars.
01:35:57.420
And you had Afghanistan, and then we go into Iraq, and Dick Cheney was utterly despised by the left.
01:36:06.800
I mean, they were doing, like, it's pretty weird, too, because he's the VP.
01:36:11.220
It's one thing to go burn effigies of Bush, who was president during the early 2000s as we go into Iraq.
01:36:19.080
But then you got Dick Cheney, and everybody's all over him.
01:36:32.600
And my gosh, it was pretty remarkable this year to see Democrats, even on MSNBC, out there talking about, well, let's say something.
01:36:47.000
Like, you know, a few disappointing policies, but this guy, he came around.
01:36:56.920
He came around to, and what they're really telling you is that he was on their side.
01:37:05.320
And therefore, because he and his daughter voted, not even for someone, but against Donald Trump.
01:37:12.080
It's like, you know, it's like being in confession if you're a Catholic.
01:37:15.880
All Dick Cheney had to do was come over to that side, and the priest and priestesses of the church gave him a little blessing.
01:37:26.700
Now go over to that pew and give me 50 Hail Marys and 50 Our Fathers, and Dick Cheney, you are forgiven.
01:37:32.040
And that is precisely what the left symbolizes today.
01:37:49.080
I am filling in for Glenn today right here on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:37:56.780
She's a young woman unsure about the future of the life growing inside of her.
01:38:00.980
But after meeting her baby on an ultrasound provided by pre-born, she had a change of heart.
01:38:21.420
And pre-born currently has clinics that do not have any ultrasound machines.
01:38:26.540
If you have the means, would you consider a leadership gift?
01:38:29.540
These life-saving machines cost more than most centers can afford.
01:38:33.160
And your tax-deductible donation of $15,000 will place a machine in a needy women's center, saving countless lives for years to come.
01:38:40.980
And now, through a match, your gift will be doubled.
01:39:05.860
Coming in here for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:39:08.340
Phone lines are open, 888-727-BECK, 888-727-BECK.
01:39:16.100
In reflecting on some of the other stories this year, there is one that is hilarious.
01:39:25.920
If you haven't seen this, what I'm about to share with you will sound like a Babylon Bee headline.
01:39:33.460
It is center-right, if not right humor, and it's all satire.
01:39:40.340
And they're a great follow-up, by the way, on anywhere, on any social media.
01:39:44.820
And in this Climate Summit, they call it the Conference of the Parties.
01:39:48.520
Okay, that's where you've got really, like, uber-wealthy liberals who get together and fly on their private jets and then take either helicopters or even armored SUVs to their final destination before skiing and doing things like that.
01:40:07.300
And they go and they preach to you about why it's so crappy you drive a Ford F-150.
01:40:13.880
You're a gas-guzzling, disgusting human being you are.
01:40:19.380
Now, let me go hop on my private jet and leave a larger carbon footprint than you could ever dream of.
01:40:24.820
So, this year, they had the Climate Summit in Bilem, Brazil.
01:40:33.600
I've never been there, but I'm sure that it's beautiful.
01:40:37.740
And they all descend on this Amazon rainforest to talk about how human beings, especially anyone who believes that fossil fuels actually produce energy and low-cost energy and do wonderful things for the world.
01:40:56.000
They're there to tell you how terrible you are, what you should or should not be driving.
01:41:00.640
They want to go ahead and get involved in legislating your life.
01:41:04.980
And if you haven't heard, before they descended on Bilem, Brazil, in that area, there was a protected part of the rainforest.
01:41:16.260
The Brazilian government deems this as protected.
01:41:18.700
They lifted that protection, and they built miles and miles, constructed miles of roads so they could have the climate summit in Bilem, Brazil, while destroying the rainforest.
01:41:40.280
Like, we're going to wipe out parts of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest in order to make sure that we can have people fly around the world in their private jets, arrive here, and drive on this newly paved road that destroyed the Amazon rainforest to talk about how bad it is to destroy the Amazon rainforest.
01:42:05.340
This, to me, is the utter hypocrisy of the left.
01:42:08.920
That what it really shows is how little they believe.
01:42:17.260
If you had a child with a peanut allergy in your home, you wouldn't have peanuts or peanut butter because it would cause certain death.
01:42:25.340
If the left truly believed that we are on our way, that we are destined for extinction, that we are destroying this planet, don't you think that they might abide by their own rules and their own beliefs?
01:42:39.920
And I guarantee you right now, right now as we speak, there is someone listening that has voted over and over for policies to regulate your life, what you boat in, what you drive in, and what you fly in, to regulate your life while they're driving a gas-guzzling car.
01:42:58.220
And by the way, buying electric isn't exactly any better for the environment when you incorporate everything else.
01:43:06.000
But remember, you could be holier than thou when you drive an electric car for some people, unless, of course, it's Tesla, which is another crazy story that's occurred over the past couple years here.
01:43:17.300
The way that Elon Musk has somehow went from hero of the left to the devil, and they're burning down his stores this year.
01:43:24.180
Again, whether you look at the torching and destroying of Tesla cars or dealerships to the way that they're destroying the Amazon rainforest, all in the name of climate change and solving our so-called climate crisis.
01:43:41.380
I think that this year goes to show how clear it is that these people believe in absolutely nothing, with the exception of one thing, one important thing for them, control.
01:44:00.160
When we come back, why Republicans are the new Democrats.
01:44:11.380
You probably heard Relief Factor commercials where somebody says to his spouse regarding his pain, you don't understand, it's gone.
01:44:18.400
Well, Sharon told us that's exactly how she feels.
01:44:20.760
She wrote to me and she said, Glenn, Relief Factor has helped me so much, I plan on taking it for the rest of my life.
01:44:27.940
For me, it was more like Tanya twisting my arm to give Relief Factor a try.
01:44:31.780
I heard about Relief Factor all natural, created by doctors, blah, blah, blah.
01:44:35.500
I really agreed to try it, not in thinking it would work.
01:44:38.000
I just wanted to get her to stop telling me to do something and prove her wrong.
01:44:42.420
Well, she was right, again, of course, and I got my life back.
01:44:46.100
Not only did I not have to live in pain, I could thrive again.
01:44:49.960
If pain has been holding you back, maybe it's time you found out why so many people, just like Sharon, just like me, make Relief Factor part of their daily routine.
01:44:57.460
Two out of three people who try it go on to order more month after month.
01:45:18.840
The American Story, The Days of Ash, and dozens more groundbreaking series all in one place.
01:45:42.960
A New World of Learning opens January 5th at glennbeck.com.
01:45:49.840
Trey Radle, filling in here for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program, and I have managed to offend some people.
01:45:57.800
Those on the left who reached out, no apologies, but we also have Ann in Texas, offended by a little joke that I made,
01:46:07.080
and I'm always willing to hear critiques and more.
01:46:22.280
It's in between San Antonio and Austin, but closer to San Antonio, near New Braunfels.
01:46:43.260
No, no, not on the water, but we have some property, like, you know, not far from there.
01:46:58.240
So, Ann, I made a joke for anybody that missed it.
01:47:02.980
So, basically, what I said was that the way that the left reacted to Dick Cheney's death
01:47:12.940
And it just goes to show you that they believe in absolutely nothing.
01:47:18.900
And so, I said that it went with the left saying that Dick Cheney's good to go.
01:47:24.800
It's almost like a Catholic priest saying, okay, you just go over there, you say 50 Hail
01:47:37.760
I am listening to you because I know you've been filling in for Glenn.
01:47:40.740
And I don't know if that was you last or before Christmas, but there was somebody from Arizona
01:47:48.200
But, anyway, I've been a fan of Glenn Becks, like I was telling the screener, for, you know,
01:47:55.320
I went to his rally in Washington, D.C. in 2008.
01:47:58.840
And I know that Glenn used to be a Catholic, but he's not anymore, unfortunately.
01:48:02.520
And I've never, ever heard anything said about the Catholic charge from Stu or Glenn or the
01:48:19.600
I don't know who offended you last week from Arizona.
01:48:27.560
I, when I, you know, I don't know whether, what religion, I don't know what Glenn, I don't,
01:48:34.620
I really don't care whatever, you know, he wants to believe in.
01:48:39.780
You know, you stated, you feel sad that he's not Catholic anymore.
01:48:43.980
But, uh, the joke that I made has absolutely zero to do with Catholics or the church.
01:48:49.500
It has to do with the ridiculous hypocrisy of the left.
01:48:53.960
And so, sorry if I offended you, Ann, but I got nothing but love.
01:48:59.720
Yeah, but what you did say did have to do with the Catholic church, because you said all we
01:49:03.800
have to do is go to confession, and the priest will go tell us to say for Hail Mary, and
01:49:10.180
We have to, we have to repent in order to be forgiven.
01:49:14.700
And I think that the left, absolutely, so, Ann, thank you.
01:49:28.720
The fact that they would, it would go and hail Dick Cheney as some sort of a hero is so utterly
01:49:40.280
If you are basically over the age of, I don't know, roughly, what, 35?
01:49:45.520
If you're over the age of 35, and you hear the left hailing Dick Cheney, you are like,
01:49:53.840
Remember, Dick Cheney was Hitler before it was cool.
01:50:00.660
And in fact, to talk a little bit about the political discourse of today, while Ann's got
01:50:05.180
me on a roll, I'm going to have to stand up here for a second.
01:50:07.920
Like, the way that they would call Dick Cheney or George Bush Hitler 20 plus years ago, at
01:50:16.820
that time, that was shocking, and it was horrible.
01:50:20.920
How dare you go out there and use the word Hitler to describe a U.S. sitting vice president
01:50:56.920
I'm going to use even a Supreme Court nominee here.
01:50:59.920
Trying to talk with everybody from the youngins to Gen Z, Gen X, and the baby boomers.
01:51:07.700
When Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, was doing everything he could to stop that nomination for that Supreme
01:51:17.060
Court justice, that is when they brought out the big guns.
01:51:27.100
You're saying, this white guy, this is really heavy at the time, hates black people.
01:51:34.340
And now, it is so abused and so overused, it's just white noise.
01:51:40.420
But the reality is, is using a term like Hitler has significant connotations.
01:51:45.820
And if you're, if you're Jewish faith listening right now, I like, I don't even, especially
01:51:51.580
if you're on the left, how do you even tolerate that?
01:51:54.820
That every week you've got someone on the right being called literally Hitler.
01:52:01.040
And by the way, one of the most important things that I want to stress here, as we've talked
01:52:05.720
for now, more than two and a half hours, is when we talk about the left clamping down on
01:52:12.260
the First Amendment, wanting to absolutely stifle speech, or we talk about the left overusing
01:52:18.380
and abusing the word Hitler, these are not, this is not fringe.
01:52:25.420
It's the most mainstream institutional Democrats that you could possibly imagine.
01:52:30.340
And they use it so much that what it's effectively done, it's made the history null and void.
01:52:39.540
I mean, you've got an entire generation growing up that just thinks that Hitler is a term like,
01:52:52.080
Like it is used so much that you've got a generation of Americans that hear words like
01:52:59.000
Nazi and Hitler, and it registers on the scale of, well, you're kind of stupid.
01:53:04.960
And that is not only a profoundly ignorant way of, that our country is going, but I would
01:53:16.120
And the way that, that you look at all of this and the way that it unfolds is to me, it's
01:53:23.660
so clear that the Democrats have so radically gone away from their roots of liberal, classical
01:53:33.400
liberal, liberal beliefs in speech, where they were the speech purists to now, they're the
01:53:40.440
ones out there saying that the, that the first amendment and media online on radio, which
01:53:46.260
you're listening to right now on TV, anyone on the right is out there telling you misinformation
01:53:51.220
and disinformation, and they need to be shut down.
01:53:55.180
I cannot stress enough that all of my years of growing up and being a political nerd, since
01:54:04.680
One of the things that I so thoroughly respected about the democratic party was their absolute
01:54:13.440
And now they're using these terms like Hitler, like Nazi to be able to shut down your free expression.
01:54:21.720
And this is something that's near and dear to my heart as, as somebody who is a free speech
01:54:25.200
purist, as someone, you know, again, if we haven't met, I've worked in media, I have been
01:54:30.340
a journalist, I've worked as a TV news reporter, a TV news anchor, I've worked on radio, right
01:54:36.360
now I'm broadcasting to you from Florida, where I do a show every night here on 92.5 Fox News.
01:54:41.840
And it is not only profoundly ignorant and offensive, the way that they're out there utilizing these
01:54:49.420
terms, Hitler and Nazi, and then in the same breath saying that there needs to be speech
01:54:55.100
that is stifled, actually engaging it under the Biden administration.
01:55:01.480
In some ways, as I used to love the liberals who were absolutely stuck on being free speech
01:55:09.440
absolutist, what's happening now is a profound cultural and generational shift from leftism
01:55:21.820
And if there's anything that as we begin to wrap up the show and this hour, that I hope
01:55:28.660
that people, including the politicians of the Republican Party, that they recognize what
01:55:36.140
Donald Trump has done is that he has ignited a cultural and generational shift of people
01:55:49.280
And I don't think that gets done without Trump.
01:55:53.020
And by the way, what I would also say are some of the people in the Republican Party that
01:55:58.660
have been, you know, for lack of better words, kind of Trump inspired or they've learned how
01:56:04.140
to, you know, not accept the ridiculous premise that the media sets out there, debate them
01:56:08.580
every damn time about being a racist, this and that, but how to stand up for themselves
01:56:12.440
and notably how to stand up for their policies.
01:56:15.900
Now, I served in Congress and one of the more disheartening things that I would see from
01:56:20.280
time to time is where Republicans would go behind closed doors and they would be like,
01:56:30.880
And we get out from a closed door meeting in the moment that the media would set up some
01:56:36.440
sort of a question that I'm paraphrasing here and being a little bombastic, but so you want
01:56:40.880
to do this policy, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Republican, Mrs. Republican, why are you racist?
01:56:47.120
And the moment that kind of older guard of Republicans hears that they back down.
01:56:56.580
But they'd be baited into it and they back down and that we cannot stand for anymore.
01:57:03.140
And that is why I'm telling you that Republicans are the new Democrats.
01:57:09.000
When we come back, I'll explain what the heck I'm talking about.
01:57:11.620
There is a massive cultural and generational shift that's happening right now.
01:57:19.080
You can find me on X at Trey Radel filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program.
01:57:23.320
Keep your powder dry and your conscience clear.
01:57:48.440
I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust
01:57:53.960
that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust.
01:58:01.040
It's like we're all Ronald Reagan trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making
01:58:08.500
And that's why I started realestateagentsitrust.com.

01:58:56.500
Trey Radel, filling in for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:59:00.320
You find me on X, find me on Facebook, et cetera.
01:59:05.960
As we wrap up this wonderful show here, huge thank you to Glenn Beck.
01:59:10.700
I said before we took the other break, Democrats are the new Republicans.
01:59:18.100
Right now, there is a profound generational and cultural shift to the right.
01:59:28.940
And look, there are times, I don't want to be too black and white here, that some of it
01:59:33.680
just has to do with how repelled people are against the left.
01:59:37.060
But you really look at, if you're over the age of roughly 35, and whether you are a baby
01:59:46.960
boomer or a Gen X, like for all of modern American politics, the left, they were the cool kids
01:59:54.140
They were the long, they were the rock and roll stars.
01:59:56.800
I mean, baby boomers, you listening right now, it was your generation with kind of awesome
02:00:02.000
music coming out of the whole hippie movement, the leftist movement.
02:00:05.740
But I mean, even if you go through time of even like hip hop or rock rage against the machine,
02:00:14.200
they were always supposedly the cool kids in the room.
02:00:22.700
Like, if you're going to a party, you do not want to be pinned down late at night with some
02:00:28.120
leftist talking your ear off about anything from the weird gender things or whatever the
02:00:34.020
weird cultural things that they are incessant on.
02:00:38.880
The reality is, is that there is a massive generational and cultural shift underway.
02:00:43.940
I think that a load of it was sparked by the flame of Donald Trump, that he ignited this.
02:00:53.100
And I would highly recommend that Republicans continue to learn from what, from the tone
02:01:02.180
Look, Trump can absolutely pop off and say some either bizarre things, even offensive things.
02:01:07.500
But what is consistent about Trump is standing up for what he believes in, even if it's not
02:01:16.760
And for far too long, Republicans have been the weak ones that backed down the moment that
02:01:21.380
somebody threw out the premise of racist, misogynist or whatever it was.
02:01:25.600
And Republicans need to learn to stand up for their policies and what they believe.
02:01:30.780
And I do believe that many governors and other members of the House and Senate have learned
02:01:35.300
from this, but the cultural and generational shift right now is very, very real.
02:01:43.320
The Democrat, and culture is the electricity current of politics.
02:01:50.440
It's culture that ignites the political shifts that we see.
02:01:58.340
And with that, I say to the right, stand up to the man, fight the power and rage against
02:02:05.860
Because what we learned, certainly during COVID and what we've even talked about these last
02:02:10.660
three hours, it's Democrats who are trying to assert control over every aspect of your
02:02:16.980
life through legislation or the cultural things like we're going to cancel people.
02:02:26.040
And those, those phrases, by the way, are cross-generational.
02:02:29.000
Stand up to the man, the hippie movement, fight the power, public enemy, hip hop, rage
02:02:36.140
They're all now these weird and sufferable Karens.
