00:02:00.500 It's a new day, time to ride
00:02:08.380 Welcome to the Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment
00:02:17.600 This is the Glenn Beck Program
00:02:22.140 Well, hello America and welcome to the Glenn Beck Program
00:02:27.480 It is Monday, it in Iowa is very, very cold and it's caucus day
00:02:34.360 We begin in just a second
00:02:35.680 First, let me tell you about American Giant
00:02:37.880 In the 1960s, 95% of the clothing Americans bought was made right here in America
00:02:43.640 Today, 97% of clothing sold in America is made someplace else
00:02:50.420 This has to change
00:02:52.220 And the one that's really trying to change
00:02:54.320 And inviting others to do business here in America
00:02:57.520 Is American Giant
00:02:59.660 I met the founder of American Giant a couple of years ago
00:03:03.180 And I had him on because he was, I don't know, speaking the American language
00:03:09.760 And seemed to actually care
00:03:13.340 I saw an interview with him and seemed to actually care about jobs and people
00:03:16.820 He started American Giant by rescuing a clothing factory
00:03:21.460 That was about to shut down in North Carolina
00:03:23.560 They started producing quality American clothing with American grown cotton and American workers
00:03:28.980 They make the best hoodie you will ever own
00:03:32.200 And they make a lot more clothing for both men and women
00:03:35.860 When you do business with American Giant, the money stays here
00:03:40.420 The jobs are saved, more jobs are created
00:03:43.100 American Giant, a symbol of who we are and what our legacy can and should be
00:03:48.900 Buy American at American-Giant.com slash Glenn
00:03:54.500 That's American-Giant.com slash Glenn
00:03:58.880 Use my name and get 20% off your first order
00:04:01.580 American-Giant.com slash Glenn
00:04:04.220 Well, let's say hello to our very own Stu Bergeer
00:04:11.160 Hello, Stu, how are you?
00:04:12.340 Mr. Beck, how are you?
00:04:13.640 Oh, my gosh
00:04:15.340 We've got about an eighth of an inch of snow and the city is completely shut down
00:04:19.780 So we are both broadcasting from our homes today
00:04:23.540 But I'm glad you're here, Stu
00:04:27.380 Because today is really a day where you really shine
00:04:30.360 Because you follow politics so closely and things like this
00:04:35.600 I want to get a quick idea of what's coming today in Iowa
00:04:41.340 There was a new poll that came out over the weekend
00:04:43.660 Yeah, there's a bunch of them actually
00:04:45.220 But the big one was the Des Moines Register poll
00:04:47.320 Which is kind of seen as the gold standard poll of the state
00:04:50.340 Correct
00:04:50.900 And it's interesting
00:04:52.700 It has Trump out ahead by a large margin
00:04:56.380 Has Nikki Haley at second
00:04:58.560 I think it's 48 for Trump
00:05:00.160 20% for Nikki Haley
00:05:01.700 16% for Ron DeSantis
00:05:05.500 And obviously that's catastrophic for DeSantis
00:05:08.560 If that winds up holding up
00:05:10.100 The underlying stuff
00:05:11.380 We can go through this later if you want
00:05:12.540 But the underlying stuff behind the poll here
00:05:15.500 And the, you know, shows a weakness for Haley
00:05:19.260 In that second place slot
00:05:20.700 There's not a lot of enthusiasm for her
00:05:22.680 There's a lot of Democratic and Independent supporters
00:05:25.520 That are tied into that
00:05:27.000 And, you know, as you point out
00:05:28.460 We have one-eighth of an inch of snow
00:05:30.160 And the entire city shut down
00:05:31.660 Now I know Iowa does not go down that same road
00:05:34.760 They're a little tougher
00:05:35.560 Really?
00:05:36.200 On this stuff
00:05:36.960 Well, hang on just a second
00:05:38.320 Texans just
00:05:39.820 We have no snow removal equipment
00:05:42.760 We have nothing
00:05:43.780 There were like 18 accidents on the freeway
00:05:47.100 With one of the people that drove in this morning
00:05:50.460 The cops are reporting all kinds of accidents
00:05:53.380 Because we don't have anything to clear it
00:05:55.560 And we absolutely don't have any idea how to drive in it
00:05:58.840 Sure
00:05:59.540 And, you know, look
00:06:00.800 People in Iowa are prepared for difficult winter weather
00:06:04.140 They deal with it every year
00:06:05.220 But I will say, you know
00:06:07.020 Look, could we have gotten into work today?
00:06:09.960 Probably
00:06:10.360 No
00:06:10.740 Some people are there
00:06:11.760 I mean, no, we couldn't have
00:06:13.620 Of course, but we are
00:06:14.380 We're too rural for where we are
00:06:16.240 But, I mean, you know
00:06:17.900 It's certainly possible to do
00:06:19.920 You know, and we have a job, right?
00:06:22.200 Now we're able to broadcast from home
00:06:23.920 So it makes it okay
00:06:24.800 But it's like
00:06:25.420 If you're at a caucus site
00:06:28.180 You are, let's say you're
00:06:29.460 I don't know
00:06:29.980 25-minute rural drive from a farm
00:06:32.720 To go to some caucus site
00:06:34.080 It is negative 7 degrees
00:06:36.500 It is negative 20 with the wind chill
00:06:39.240 You're still dealing with multiple feet of snow on the ground
00:06:42.420 That's a big ask to get somebody out there tonight
00:06:46.160 So, I mean, the polling
00:06:47.000 Where normally it has its problem
00:06:49.200 It's difficult to poll Iowa anyway for this thing
00:06:51.260 But when you add on to the fact this weather
00:06:53.040 I don't know
00:06:53.540 Anything
00:06:53.900 Anything could happen
00:06:54.880 Nothing would surprise me tonight
00:06:55.980 I think the ones that are motivated
00:06:58.460 Are the Trump voters
00:06:59.720 Even though he is at 28
00:07:02.740 Down just a little bit from the last poll
00:07:05.020 That was taken in December
00:07:06.520 But within the margin of error
00:07:08.380 And, you know, I think
00:07:12.100 I think Haley's support is soft
00:07:17.280 However, the Democrats are talking about
00:07:20.820 Changing over to be Republican
00:07:23.340 Just to be able to caucus for Haley today
00:07:26.320 So she might, you know
00:07:27.600 She might make up some of the lackluster support
00:07:31.360 I mean, it's really a problem
00:07:32.740 When the Democrats are, you know
00:07:35.640 Pumping money into a campaign on the other side
00:07:38.480 And they're switching so they can vote
00:07:41.540 And they're not voting for her
00:07:42.820 They'll never vote for her in the general
00:07:44.840 They're just trying to screw Donald Trump
00:07:46.960 I mean, certainly that's true, right?
00:07:49.860 And you look at the breakdowns of where these people come from
00:07:55.320 You know, about 80% of both DeSantis supporters
00:07:59.040 And Trump supporters are Republicans
00:08:02.360 That number is less than half for Nikki Haley
00:08:05.220 Only about 49%
00:08:06.640 50% of her voters are either independents or Democrats
00:08:10.640 Now, look, that's something that's going to help her
00:08:13.180 A little bit in this race, potentially
00:08:15.080 Though, again, I question how passionate a Democratic person
00:08:19.140 Who's going to do what you're just talking about, Glenn
00:08:21.240 Like, wants to come out and send a message
00:08:23.080 Against Donald Trump and vote for a person
00:08:25.520 You know, they don't even like
00:08:26.720 It's hard for me to believe that person's
00:08:28.860 You know, going out in this weather
00:08:30.420 But maybe they will
00:08:31.680 And that will help Nikki Haley here
00:08:33.920 It'll help her a lot more in New Hampshire
00:08:36.280 But that starts dying out pretty quickly
00:08:39.220 If you're depending on independent and Democratic voters
00:08:42.040 To win this election
00:08:42.700 Well, I don't know if you have missed this, Stu
00:08:45.380 But experts now say
00:08:48.100 That Donald Trump is going to be a dictator
00:08:52.480 And NBC reports this last weekend
00:08:56.740 That a circle of appointees
00:08:59.560 Independent of Trump's political operation
00:09:02.280 Steered him away from ideas
00:09:04.420 That have pushed the limits of presidential power
00:09:06.640 In his last term
00:09:07.840 But now they have said
00:09:09.780 We can't do it again
00:09:13.000 We just can't do it again
00:09:14.560 And Trump has raised fresh questions
00:09:16.840 This is all from NBC News
00:09:18.280 About his intentions
00:09:19.980 If he regains power
00:09:21.580 By putting forward a legal theory
00:09:23.840 That a president would be free
00:09:25.620 To do nearly anything
00:09:27.300 With impunity
00:09:28.600 So in other words
00:09:29.840 He could
00:09:31.520 The NBC says
00:09:33.540 Assassinate political rivals
00:09:35.640 Whoa
00:09:37.060 I mean
00:09:38.120 Thank goodness
00:09:39.320 He's not going to put them in prison
00:09:40.760 Or anything like that
00:09:42.360 He's able to assassinate people
00:09:46.180 He would be able to put his enemies in jail
00:09:49.780 He would be able to
00:09:52.400 Let's just say
00:09:53.300 Go against the Supreme Court
00:09:54.780 Over and over again
00:09:55.720 And let's say
00:09:56.940 Forgive student debt
00:09:58.680 They really are afraid
00:10:01.560 That he might use
00:10:02.720 In fact, let me quote this here
00:10:04.200 The president could do
00:10:07.340 Almost anything
00:10:08.520 The Pentagon is concerned
00:10:11.820 That he may use every tool
00:10:14.980 In the toolbox
00:10:16.020 And he may use
00:10:18.560 You ready?
00:10:20.220 The Insurrection Act
00:10:21.920 Which would give the president
00:10:24.580 All kinds of power
00:10:26.500 To call anything
00:10:28.240 An uprising
00:10:29.460 An insurrection
00:10:30.620 And then
00:10:32.080 He would purge
00:10:33.520 Get this
00:10:34.660 He would purge
00:10:35.980 The Pentagon
00:10:36.660 Of all of his
00:10:38.400 Political opponents
00:10:39.480 So
00:10:40.340 He would
00:10:41.000 Let's just say
00:10:41.820 After an uprising
00:10:43.640 Of some sort
00:10:44.780 He could just call
00:10:46.040 Anything
00:10:46.760 Insurrection
00:10:47.820 And then he could go
00:10:49.320 And say
00:10:49.640 We're getting rid of
00:10:50.660 All of the enemies
00:10:51.860 All the insurrectionists
00:10:53.460 In the Pentagon
00:10:54.700 And he could purge it
00:10:56.760 Stu
00:10:57.080 This is
00:10:58.640 Wow
00:10:58.960 I'm concerned
00:11:00.320 That he may
00:11:01.080 Go to the level
00:11:02.100 Of trying to get
00:11:03.040 His opponents
00:11:03.520 Thrown off the ballot
00:11:04.440 Or maybe even
00:11:05.460 Put them in prison
00:11:06.320 Glenn
00:11:06.740 Wow
00:11:07.280 That's what I'm
00:11:07.760 Concerned about
00:11:08.560 Wow
00:11:09.060 And I don't know
00:11:09.880 I hope he doesn't
00:11:10.600 Go that far
00:11:11.500 Because that would be
00:11:12.540 Just like a dictator
00:11:13.500 Richard Blumenthal
00:11:15.040 And because he's a friend
00:11:16.540 I can call him
00:11:17.440 Dick
00:11:18.180 Said
00:11:19.460 There are
00:11:20.780 A ray of horrors
00:11:22.140 That could result
00:11:22.980 From Donald Trump's
00:11:24.000 Unrestricted use
00:11:25.300 Of the
00:11:26.000 Insurrection Act
00:11:27.600 He would become
00:11:29.700 A dictator
00:11:30.760 On his first day
00:11:32.520 He could close
00:11:33.880 The border
00:11:34.460 And begin drilling
00:11:35.600 For oil
00:11:36.420 Oh man
00:11:38.780 Oh no
00:11:40.000 He could do it
00:11:41.300 So here's what
00:11:42.300 This report is saying
00:11:43.580 That there are now
00:11:44.960 Many people
00:11:46.100 They're admitting
00:11:47.200 That there is
00:11:47.840 A deep state
00:11:48.760 The aim is
00:11:50.920 To identify
00:11:51.600 Like-minded
00:11:52.540 Organizations
00:11:53.560 And people
00:11:54.540 In the government
00:11:55.380 To create
00:11:56.460 A coalition
00:11:57.220 To challenge
00:11:58.260 Trump
00:11:58.740 From day
00:11:59.560 One
00:12:00.160 Some participants
00:12:01.800 Are combing
00:12:02.500 Through policy
00:12:03.200 Papers
00:12:03.620 Being crafted
00:12:04.360 For a future
00:12:05.140 Conservative administration
00:12:06.460 They're also
00:12:07.620 Watching the interviews
00:12:08.580 That Trump allies
00:12:09.560 Are giving to the press
00:12:10.680 For clues
00:12:11.520 Of how a Trump sequel
00:12:13.120 Would look
00:12:13.840 Other participants
00:12:15.620 Include
00:12:16.320 Democracy Forward
00:12:17.860 An organization
00:12:18.940 That took Trump
00:12:19.900 And his administration
00:12:21.200 To court
00:12:21.580 More than a hundred times
00:12:23.060 They're preparing
00:12:24.460 Litigation
00:12:25.320 And they're going
00:12:26.640 To use
00:12:27.300 Every tactic
00:12:28.360 That they can
00:12:29.300 Which would
00:12:30.220 Provide the
00:12:31.080 American people
00:12:32.100 An ability
00:12:32.860 To fight back
00:12:34.080 Wow
00:12:35.200 This sounds
00:12:37.000 Like the deep state
00:12:38.100 And everything
00:12:39.000 That
00:12:39.840 You know
00:12:41.380 The conspiracy
00:12:42.300 Theorists
00:12:43.220 Have said
00:12:44.040 Goes on
00:12:44.720 And may I ask
00:12:46.060 What is the
00:12:47.040 Difference
00:12:47.700 Between
00:12:48.500 2016
00:12:50.300 And 2024
00:12:52.400 Because isn't this
00:12:53.980 Exactly what the
00:12:54.900 Democrats did
00:12:55.700 In 2016
00:12:56.520 Sure
00:12:58.800 And it doesn't
00:12:59.820 Seem like there's
00:13:00.180 Any rational
00:13:00.880 Reason to
00:13:02.740 To argue this
00:13:03.860 It's funny
00:13:04.520 Because they
00:13:05.320 You could argue
00:13:06.840 This sounds
00:13:07.440 Just like a
00:13:08.040 Trump campaign
00:13:08.820 Commercial to a
00:13:09.560 Lot of primary
00:13:10.080 Voters right now
00:13:11.000 Oh yeah
00:13:11.620 They want
00:13:12.560 Him to take
00:13:13.920 Action
00:13:14.300 And to be as
00:13:14.960 Aggressive as
00:13:15.780 Possible
00:13:16.320 You know
00:13:17.020 I don't want him
00:13:18.060 And he has said
00:13:19.320 I'm going to be
00:13:19.880 Too busy for
00:13:20.660 Retribution
00:13:21.420 I don't want
00:13:22.040 Retribution
00:13:22.720 I do want
00:13:23.800 Justice
00:13:24.340 I want people
00:13:25.700 Who are against
00:13:26.820 The republic
00:13:28.920 And quite honestly
00:13:30.340 Against democracy
00:13:32.220 As they define it
00:13:34.020 And taking this
00:13:36.340 On their own
00:13:37.360 And saying that
00:13:38.600 They're going to
00:13:39.080 Thwart the will
00:13:40.600 Of the duly
00:13:42.140 Elected president
00:13:43.020 Whoever he is
00:13:44.260 Yeah and you have
00:13:45.320 Obviously
00:13:45.820 Trump says what he says
00:13:47.160 I mean I
00:13:47.980 You know he
00:13:48.560 He likes to take
00:13:49.680 Sometimes some
00:13:50.520 Flourishes
00:13:51.020 With his speech
00:13:52.400 I don't think
00:13:53.800 Anyone in the world
00:13:54.620 Believes he's going
00:13:55.380 To run out of time
00:13:56.120 For retribution
00:13:56.780 That is the one
00:13:57.720 Thing he will
00:13:58.260 Schedule every
00:13:58.980 Morning
00:13:59.300 That is
00:13:59.920 I will say
00:14:01.040 Have you ever
00:14:01.860 Seen a time
00:14:02.820 Where he's like
00:14:03.220 You know what
00:14:03.700 I just don't
00:14:04.480 Have time to
00:14:05.220 Fire back against
00:14:05.980 That annoying tweet
00:14:06.960 I saw yesterday
00:14:07.820 Like that's not
00:14:08.780 Part of who
00:14:09.500 Donald Trump is
00:14:10.620 He's going to
00:14:11.600 I mean retribution
00:14:12.780 Is a different word
00:14:15.120 I mean look
00:14:15.720 He's used these
00:14:16.440 Words Glenn
00:14:16.920 And he's used them
00:14:17.700 And sometimes
00:14:18.080 They bring him
00:14:18.680 You know they
00:14:19.140 Bring him these
00:14:19.860 Questions but in
00:14:20.660 Reality if you
00:14:21.260 Kind of boil it
00:14:21.880 Down I mean is he
00:14:22.840 Going to be a
00:14:23.260 Dictator on day
00:14:23.960 One no
00:14:24.700 Is he going to
00:14:25.440 Try to be
00:14:25.740 Aggressive with
00:14:26.460 His with his
00:14:28.000 Executive powers
00:14:29.060 I think the
00:14:29.620 Answer to that
00:14:30.220 One is yes
00:14:30.920 And that it
00:14:31.740 May make some
00:14:32.660 Conservatives as
00:14:33.520 Uncomfortable as
00:14:34.600 Some moderates and
00:14:35.600 Liberals but like
00:14:36.400 It depends on how
00:14:37.080 He does it and as
00:14:37.700 Long as he's doing
00:14:38.300 It within the
00:14:38.900 Constitutional bounds
00:14:40.000 That's something I
00:14:41.000 Think right now
00:14:41.800 Primary voters
00:14:42.520 Really want
00:14:43.180 Yeah and I
00:14:44.860 Don't have a
00:14:45.660 Problem as long
00:14:46.400 As it remains
00:14:47.140 In constitutional
00:14:48.200 Bounds I don't
00:14:49.100 Have a problem
00:14:49.660 With it at all
00:14:50.540 I prefer that
00:14:52.480 It's not done
00:14:53.140 Through executive
00:14:53.900 Order because
00:14:54.560 That can just
00:14:55.380 Be undone with
00:14:57.480 The next
00:14:57.860 President whoever
00:14:58.760 That might be
00:14:59.480 We've got to
00:15:00.320 Start using the
00:15:01.720 Balance of power
00:15:02.840 And using the
00:15:04.720 Congress the
00:15:05.480 Way it's supposed
00:15:05.960 To be used
00:15:06.440 Unfortunately we
00:15:07.480 Have too many
00:15:07.960 Weasel
00:15:08.460 Republicans
00:15:09.920 By the way if
00:15:11.740 You are worried
00:15:13.260 At all about
00:15:14.240 Flying anywhere
00:15:15.500 Don't be
00:15:16.940 Don't be
00:15:17.660 They found a
00:15:18.600 Yeah they found
00:15:19.240 A crack in the
00:15:21.360 Front window of
00:15:22.440 Another Boeing
00:15:23.340 Plane over the
00:15:25.180 Weekend but it's
00:15:26.320 Not Boeing you
00:15:27.020 Have to worry
00:15:27.580 About it's really
00:15:28.440 Not well you
00:15:29.660 Should worry about
00:15:30.360 Boeing but it's
00:15:32.320 Not just Boeing
00:15:33.620 Wait until you
00:15:34.880 Hear the latest
00:15:35.600 From biden's
00:15:36.600 FAA
00:15:37.520 Oh my gosh
00:15:40.640 We'll give that
00:15:41.660 And more on
00:15:42.480 Iowa here in
00:15:43.880 Just a second
00:15:45.360 Stand by you
00:15:46.260 Sick twisted
00:15:47.240 Freak
00:15:47.940 All right our
00:15:49.140 Sponsor this
00:15:49.960 Half hour is
00:15:51.080 Burna
00:15:51.700 Stu and I
00:15:52.640 Were out and
00:15:53.820 We were
00:15:54.560 Practicing our
00:15:57.000 Shooting with
00:15:57.560 A Burna on
00:15:58.420 What was it
00:15:58.920 Friday Stu
00:15:59.560 Yeah Friday
00:16:00.180 Yeah and I
00:16:02.740 Mean I just
00:16:03.180 Have to say
00:16:03.780 You know I
00:16:06.240 Won
00:16:06.620 You won
00:16:08.880 What
00:16:09.420 The competition
00:16:11.240 Between the two
00:16:12.000 Of us
00:16:12.380 There was a
00:16:13.760 I didn't even
00:16:14.500 I didn't know
00:16:15.140 There was a
00:16:15.480 Competition all I
00:16:16.260 Know is that you
00:16:16.760 Definitely looked
00:16:17.480 Best in the pimp
00:16:18.300 Jacket you were
00:16:18.920 Wearing in the
00:16:19.380 Middle of the
00:16:20.040 Middle of the
00:16:20.460 Competition and
00:16:21.280 That and you
00:16:22.560 Will see the
00:16:23.060 Video of that and
00:16:24.140 You will love the
00:16:25.240 Video of that
00:16:25.880 It's like it's
00:16:27.760 Like it was
00:16:28.160 Really cold it
00:16:29.400 Was like a
00:16:30.060 Buffalo jacket
00:16:31.620 And I was
00:16:33.220 Dressed like the
00:16:33.700 Unabomber I
00:16:34.340 Can't get mad at
00:16:34.960 You I was
00:16:35.420 Yeah you looked
00:16:36.580 Absolutely like the
00:16:37.860 Unabomber but
00:16:38.760 Admit it
00:16:39.960 You did very well
00:16:41.780 Glenn I mean I
00:16:42.340 Was I was hoping
00:16:43.120 The quote unquote
00:16:44.040 Course we were going
00:16:44.940 To do was going to
00:16:45.520 Have more running
00:16:46.280 In it because what
00:16:47.040 Happened was you
00:16:47.720 Only had to move
00:16:48.240 Three steps and
00:16:49.680 You're clearly a
00:16:50.260 Better shot than I
00:16:50.980 Am but if we if
00:16:52.200 If only there was
00:16:53.160 Ten yards in between
00:16:54.260 Targets I would
00:16:55.000 Have smoked you
00:16:55.820 Okay anyway we
00:16:59.720 Have burner
00:17:00.400 Launchers do do
00:17:02.180 You have some yet
00:17:02.920 I don't I love
00:17:04.300 Them that was the
00:17:04.740 First time I've
00:17:05.140 Ever used them and
00:17:05.840 They're really cool
00:17:06.880 Really great and
00:17:08.320 It is less than
00:17:10.220 Lethal I mean I
00:17:11.620 Guess you could
00:17:12.080 Shoot somebody's
00:17:12.860 Eye out but you
00:17:13.740 Know so did the
00:17:14.340 Kid in the movie
00:17:15.040 You could put you
00:17:16.880 Could put an eye
00:17:17.620 Out with it but
00:17:18.520 Generally that
00:17:19.500 Doesn't happen
00:17:20.180 Here's the thing
00:17:21.740 Deadly force is
00:17:23.940 Sometimes needed
00:17:24.880 Sometimes it's
00:17:26.400 Not and the
00:17:27.800 Burn a launcher
00:17:28.460 Is a non-lethal
00:17:29.880 Alternative to
00:17:30.760 Safeguarding your
00:17:31.520 Home that will
00:17:32.040 Teach somebody a
00:17:33.560 Very painful but
00:17:34.920 Non-lethal lesson
00:17:36.340 It's legal in all
00:17:37.440 50 states you
00:17:39.240 Don't need a
00:17:39.700 Permit you don't
00:17:40.520 Need a background
00:17:41.300 Check or anything
00:17:42.140 It can be used by
00:17:43.040 All age groups over
00:17:44.400 18 and it is a
00:17:46.360 Powerful deterrent
00:17:47.680 It has tear gas
00:17:49.240 It has pepper gas
00:17:51.280 Kinetic rounds
00:17:52.280 60 foot range
00:17:54.560 One shot can
00:17:56.200 Incapacitate an
00:17:58.240 Attacker for about
00:17:59.760 45 minutes it's
00:18:01.280 Really a powerful
00:18:02.920 Powerful deterrent

00:18:26.440 Okay so a
00:18:36.120 Japanese domestic
00:18:37.280 Flight was forced to
00:18:38.380 Turn back after a
00:18:39.440 Crack was found in the
00:18:40.380 Cockpit window but you
00:18:41.820 Know why why worry
00:18:43.180 About that it's another
00:18:44.120 Boeing plane but here's
00:18:45.940 The thing that i think
00:18:47.240 Is we're all gonna love
00:18:48.820 We're all gonna love
00:18:49.940 Because we all love
00:18:51.020 Diversity inclusion and
00:18:54.000 Equity we all love it
00:18:55.800 So the FAA the federal
00:18:58.600 Aviation administration is
00:19:02.100 Now putting a priority and
00:19:03.740 Hiring people
00:19:04.780 Ready with severe
00:19:10.920 Intellectual disabilities
00:19:13.180 As part of its diversity
00:19:15.300 And inclusion initiative
00:19:16.640 According to the website
00:19:18.580 The FAA claims
00:19:20.080 Individuals with targeted
00:19:22.180 Or severe disabilities
00:19:24.380 For the most
00:19:25.180 Under-representative
00:19:26.340 Segment of the federal
00:19:28.140 Workforce
00:19:28.800 Under its people with
00:19:30.620 Disabilities program
00:19:31.760 The agency says it is
00:19:33.780 Actively recruiting
00:19:35.140 Hire and promote
00:19:36.720 Retain and develop
00:19:38.060 And advances people
00:19:39.440 With disabilities
00:19:40.580 The following disabilities
00:19:42.900 Are targets for the FAA
00:19:45.620 To hire
00:19:46.480 Those with hearing
00:19:48.100 Impairment
00:19:48.860 Vision
00:19:49.820 Missing extremities
00:19:51.980 Partial paralysis
00:19:53.800 Complete paralysis
00:19:56.220 Epilepsy
00:19:58.180 Severe intellectual
00:20:00.380 Disabilities
00:20:01.380 Psychiatric disabilities
00:20:03.880 And dwarfism
00:20:05.920 Now if I were born
00:20:10.280 A little person
00:20:11.180 I think I would be
00:20:12.680 A little upset
00:20:13.380 That I was put in
00:20:14.460 The same categories
00:20:16.320 Of those with severe
00:20:17.880 Intellectual disabilities
00:20:19.560 And psychiatric
00:20:21.260 Disabilities
00:20:22.040 Do you want somebody
00:20:23.580 Who's you know
00:20:24.540 Up in the tower
00:20:25.380 Or making any decisions
00:20:26.900 On planes at all
00:20:28.560 With a severe
00:20:30.620 Psychic or psychiatric
00:20:32.440 Disability
00:20:33.240 Or a severe
00:20:34.920 Intellectual disability
00:20:36.760 What is wrong with us
00:20:39.740 I'm going to go with
00:20:40.380 No I want the person
00:20:41.320 Who's most qualified
00:20:42.700 For the job
00:20:43.880 Regardless of their
00:20:45.260 Skin color
00:20:46.140 Or really any
00:20:48.240 Immutable characteristic
00:20:50.100 You can pull out
00:20:51.000 Eye color
00:20:51.640 Not that important
00:20:52.500 I mean the dwarfism
00:20:53.440 Thing I guess it matters
00:20:54.600 You need to be able to
00:20:55.600 See over the
00:20:56.080 Cockpit dashboard
00:20:57.280 I mean that's about
00:20:58.280 My requirement
00:20:58.960 Can you reach the
00:20:59.820 Pedals
00:21:00.120 Like that is something
00:21:01.480 That is important to me
00:21:02.420 Outside of that
00:21:03.280 What you're saying
00:21:04.500 Is you have to be
00:21:05.240 At least this high
00:21:06.240 To ride this ride
00:21:07.240 Is that what you're saying
00:21:08.160 Exactly
00:21:08.940 You know
00:21:09.840 You know
00:21:10.460 It's one thing to say
00:21:11.680 Hey we're
00:21:12.360 You know
00:21:13.000 We'll hire all
00:21:13.920 Body types
00:21:14.940 Or whatever
00:21:15.960 Severe
00:21:19.200 Intellectual
00:21:20.880 Disabilities
00:21:21.760 Why would we
00:21:25.640 Hire those people
00:21:26.640 Why
00:21:28.880 Sincerely
00:21:30.380 I mean
00:21:30.740 Look
00:21:31.480 You have a
00:21:32.420 Severe
00:21:33.220 Intellectual
00:21:34.840 Disability
00:21:35.560 You know
00:21:36.620 Then we're
00:21:37.300 Going to have you
00:21:37.840 Go and do
00:21:38.500 Some job
00:21:39.500 That you know
00:21:40.360 Doesn't involve
00:21:41.720 Airplanes
00:21:42.760 It's just
00:21:43.740 I mean
00:21:44.040 That's my thought
00:21:44.920 Yeah
00:21:45.800 You know
00:21:46.040 Exactly
00:21:46.800 Like you
00:21:47.220 You know
00:21:47.940 It's not to say
00:21:48.640 That they might
00:21:50.020 Not get a job
00:21:51.000 If they are able
00:21:51.700 To do a
00:21:52.940 Particular job
00:21:53.580 For a particular
00:21:53.940 Place
00:21:54.160 Maybe it works
00:21:54.680 Out in certain
00:21:55.300 Circumstances
00:21:55.960 But like
00:21:57.160 There are
00:21:58.080 Certain jobs
00:21:58.840 Have certain
00:21:59.480 Characteristics
00:22:00.140 You
00:22:00.500 Maybe
00:22:01.220 Glenn
00:22:01.560 Aren't the
00:22:02.340 Best point
00:22:03.040 Guard
00:22:03.340 For the
00:22:03.680 Dallas
00:22:03.960 Mavericks
00:22:04.480 Right
00:22:04.860 No
00:22:05.040 It's not
00:22:05.580 It's not
00:22:06.200 It's not
00:22:06.300 Because they
00:22:06.640 Hate you
00:22:07.280 It's not
00:22:07.640 Because
00:22:07.980 You would
00:22:08.800 You know
00:22:09.120 You're being
00:22:09.580 Discriminated
00:22:10.400 Against
00:22:10.800 You just
00:22:11.320 Might not
00:22:11.900 Have the
00:22:12.480 Aerobic
00:22:12.900 Capacity
00:22:13.620 For the
00:22:14.020 Gig
00:22:14.300 And that's
00:22:15.120 The way
00:22:15.460 It works
00:22:15.740 I wouldn't
00:22:16.540 Make a
00:22:16.880 Good pilot
00:22:17.500 I'm
00:22:17.920 Riddled
00:22:18.400 With
00:22:18.620 ADD
00:22:19.760 Don't
00:22:20.100 Hire me
00:22:20.720 As a
00:22:21.020 Pilot
00:22:21.300 If
00:22:21.740 Somebody
00:22:22.060 Is like
00:22:22.500 Me
00:22:22.760 And they're
00:22:23.060 The pilot
00:22:23.540 I want
00:22:24.320 Off the
00:22:24.860 Plane
00:22:25.260 I want
00:22:25.860 Off the
00:22:26.400 Plane
00:22:26.820 Okay
00:22:27.660 What is
00:22:28.920 The problem
00:22:29.520 With saying
00:22:30.220 That
00:22:30.640 We've gone
00:22:32.180 From
00:22:32.600 Yeah well
00:22:33.500 I mean
00:22:33.940 Let's hire
00:22:34.780 You know
00:22:35.300 The person
00:22:35.840 Of color
00:22:36.440 You know
00:22:37.360 If they're
00:22:37.820 The same
00:22:38.480 If they
00:22:38.800 Have the
00:22:39.140 Same
00:22:39.500 Intellect
00:22:40.300 And you
00:22:40.880 Know
00:22:41.000 Whatever
00:22:41.320 The same
00:22:41.780 Qualifications
00:22:42.620 Who gives
00:22:43.960 A flying
00:22:44.440 Crap
00:22:44.920 But if
00:22:45.800 You have
00:22:46.240 A severe
00:22:47.360 Intellectual
00:22:49.300 Disability
00:22:50.140 I don't
00:22:51.380 Know
00:22:51.700 I think
00:22:52.800 We should
00:22:53.120 Go
00:22:53.320 Where
00:22:53.580 Somebody
00:22:54.220 Who can
00:22:55.260 Maybe
00:22:55.560 Think
00:22:56.440 Glenn
00:22:58.440 Beck
00:22:59.220 Jeez
00:23:01.180 I know
00:23:01.740 But this
00:23:02.200 This
00:23:02.540 This election
00:23:03.460 Really doesn't
00:23:04.240 Have any
00:23:05.000 Kind of
00:23:05.420 Real
00:23:05.720 Consequence
00:23:06.440 On the
00:23:08.380 On the
00:23:09.040 American way
00:23:09.660 Of life
00:23:10.080 None
00:23:10.400 Whatsoever
00:23:11.020 Okay let me
00:23:11.960 Tell you about
00:23:12.300 Real estate
00:23:12.740 Agents I
00:23:13.300 Trust
00:23:13.680 The main
00:23:14.740 Difference
00:23:15.140 Between
00:23:15.420 Somebody who
00:23:16.020 Does something
00:23:16.840 Full time
00:23:17.500 And somebody
00:23:18.200 Who does
00:23:18.700 Something as
00:23:19.240 A hobby
00:23:19.660 Is effort
00:23:21.040 And this
00:23:22.180 Is especially
00:23:22.980 Evident
00:23:23.440 In the
00:23:23.740 Field of
00:23:24.280 Real estate

00:23:28.480 Nice guy
00:23:29.180 And I'm
00:23:29.520 Sure he
00:23:29.840 You know

00:23:34.540 He put
00:23:34.860 In the
00:23:35.180 Legwork
00:23:35.860 That
00:23:36.160 Cousin
00:23:36.680 Of yours
00:23:37.220 Have
00:23:37.760 They done
00:23:38.280 It

00:23:51.940 To have
00:23:52.140 To go
00:23:52.360 Through
00:23:52.520 The same
00:23:52.920 Hassle
00:23:53.360 I'd gone
00:23:53.760 Through
00:23:54.060 Time and
00:23:54.800 Time again
00:23:55.400 Trying to

00:24:02.540 Vetted

00:24:42.240 I just
00:24:42.760 Take a
00:24:43.820 Side note
00:24:44.560 Here for
00:24:44.960 Just a
00:24:45.460 Second
00:24:45.720 I'm
00:24:46.260 You know
00:24:48.700 I just
00:24:49.040 Started
00:24:49.380 Watching
00:24:49.780 Football
00:24:50.220 And getting
00:24:50.600 Into football
00:24:51.140 A couple
00:24:51.500 Of years
00:24:51.840 Ago
00:24:52.060 So I'm
00:24:52.480 Not
00:24:52.740 You know
00:24:53.200 I'm not
00:24:54.040 Your typical
00:24:54.580 Football fan
00:24:55.360 At all
00:24:55.720 But
00:24:56.940 But I have
00:24:57.700 I have to
00:24:57.820 Tell you
00:24:58.360 Now I
00:25:00.280 Just have
00:25:00.640 Something else
00:25:01.160 In my
00:25:01.400 Life
00:25:01.560 To be
00:25:01.820 Pissed
00:25:02.100 About
00:25:02.400 I went
00:25:04.440 To the
00:25:04.800 Cowboys
00:25:05.920 Game
00:25:06.220 Yesterday
00:25:06.600 And it
00:25:07.260 Was
00:25:07.640 Awful
00:25:09.380 Awful
00:25:10.520 And I
00:25:11.780 I can't
00:25:12.060 I saw it
00:25:12.460 I saw it
00:25:12.700 Different
00:25:15.200 Perspective
00:25:15.800 On that
00:25:16.080 One
00:25:16.200 Yeah
00:25:16.460 Oh my
00:25:17.400 Gosh
00:25:17.800 And I've
00:25:18.300 Never seen
00:25:19.160 A crowd
00:25:19.720 And tell
00:25:20.520 Me if
00:25:20.820 This is
00:25:21.140 Typical
00:25:21.560 Stu
00:25:21.860 I've
00:25:22.940 Never seen
00:25:23.640 A crowd
00:25:24.200 Turn
00:25:24.820 On their
00:25:25.320 Own
00:25:25.640 Team
00:25:26.160 Like they
00:25:27.060 Did
00:25:27.560 Yesterday
00:25:28.480 In
00:25:29.000 Dallas
00:25:29.400 Did you
00:25:29.920 Happen
00:25:30.120 To see
00:25:30.360 The game
00:25:31.080 Of course
00:25:32.240 I did
00:25:32.640 Of course
00:25:34.120 You have to
00:25:34.640 Remember
00:25:35.040 You're talking
00:25:36.140 To a
00:25:36.460 Philadelphia
00:25:36.880 Eagles
00:25:37.420 No I
00:25:37.900 Know
00:25:38.100 That
00:25:38.300 Every
00:25:39.120 Time
00:25:39.480 They have
00:25:39.800 One
00:25:40.100 Bad
00:25:40.480 Play
00:25:40.840 The
00:25:41.040 Entire
00:25:41.400 Crowd
00:25:41.840 Turns
00:25:42.160 On them
00:25:42.420 And starts
00:25:42.680 Throwing
00:25:43.160 Things
00:25:43.480 From the
00:25:43.800 Stadium
00:25:44.680 So
00:25:45.140 It was
00:25:48.660 By the
00:25:49.380 Second
00:25:49.680 Quarter
00:25:50.100 And definitely
00:25:50.980 In the
00:25:51.360 Third
00:25:51.640 Like the
00:25:52.800 Stadium
00:25:53.200 Grew
00:25:53.620 Very
00:25:54.200 Very
00:25:54.560 Quiet
00:25:55.060 And they
00:25:56.240 Would
00:25:56.420 You know
00:25:56.700 They would
00:25:57.040 You know
00:25:57.640 They'd run
00:25:58.120 For ten
00:25:58.640 Yards
00:25:59.060 And have
00:25:59.420 A first
00:25:59.760 Down
00:26:00.040 And you'd
00:26:00.260 Be like
00:26:00.660 Uh-huh
00:26:01.540 Well you'll
00:26:02.480 Blow it
00:26:02.900 Next time
00:26:03.640 I walked
00:26:04.700 Out
00:26:05.120 Because after
00:26:06.240 In the
00:26:06.700 Third
00:26:06.900 Quarter
00:26:07.180 After
00:26:07.560 They gave
00:26:09.020 Away
00:26:09.340 Yet another
00:26:10.260 Touchdown
00:26:11.020 I
00:26:12.340 I
00:26:13.140 Got up
00:26:13.680 And I'm
00:26:13.960 Like we're
00:26:14.340 Got we're
00:26:14.700 Out of
00:26:14.980 Here
00:26:15.180 I'm not
00:26:15.660 Waiting in
00:26:16.060 Traffic for
00:26:16.520 This mess
00:26:17.040 And uh
00:26:18.320 And it was
00:26:18.820 Packed I
00:26:19.520 Mean we
00:26:19.780 Waited in
00:26:20.260 Traffic
00:26:20.660 Because everybody
00:26:21.340 Was leaving
00:26:21.900 By the
00:26:22.300 By the
00:26:22.940 Third quarter
00:26:23.520 And uh
00:26:24.580 As I'm
00:26:24.960 Walking out
00:26:25.480 I said to
00:26:25.900 The usher
00:26:26.360 Well
00:26:26.940 Maybe next
00:26:28.360 Year
00:26:28.660 And she
00:26:29.360 Looked at
00:26:29.740 Me and she
00:26:30.060 Went yeah
00:26:31.040 Right
00:26:31.700 I love
00:26:34.600 This
00:26:34.780 The Cowboys
00:26:35.480 Fans are
00:26:35.900 Turning in
00:26:36.600 And adopting
00:26:37.720 The pessimism
00:26:38.520 Of Eagles
00:26:39.100 Fans
00:26:39.420 Which is
00:26:39.980 Kind of
00:26:40.440 Fun to
00:26:40.760 Watch
00:26:41.080 But yeah
00:26:41.800 It was
00:26:42.580 Ugly man
00:26:43.100 That was
00:26:43.300 A brutal
00:26:44.140 Game
00:26:44.460 Congratulations
00:26:45.120 To the
00:26:45.500 Packers
00:26:45.940 Who did
00:26:46.380 A great
00:26:46.660 Job
00:26:47.000 And deserved
00:26:47.800 To win
00:26:48.140 That game
00:26:48.440 They out
00:26:48.740 They out
00:26:49.060 Played
00:26:49.340 Them
00:26:49.460 They were
00:26:49.800 By far
00:26:50.780 The better
00:26:51.160 Team
00:26:51.560 And I
00:26:52.320 Would be
00:26:52.660 More
00:26:53.100 Trash
00:26:54.060 Talking
00:26:54.460 About the

00:31:10.620 Now
00:31:10.880 It's

00:31:24.160 Today
00:31:24.600 They're

00:31:26.800 This
00:31:27.100 Is

00:31:28.160 This
00:31:28.460 Is
00:31:28.620 A

00:31:29.520 We're

00:31:36.120 Few
00:31:36.260 Things
00:31:36.620 But
00:31:36.840 Anyway
00:31:37.140 So
00:31:38.680 I
00:31:38.820 Think

00:31:48.860 Abortion
00:31:49.300 Yeah
00:31:50.640 I
00:31:50.760 Think
00:31:50.920 That's

00:31:51.340 Of
00:31:51.420 It
00:31:51.500 I

00:31:51.980 You
00:31:52.100 Know
00:31:52.180 I
00:31:52.260 Think

00:32:24.900 Though
00:32:25.280 Like
00:32:25.940 You
00:32:26.180 See
00:32:26.380 Almost
00:32:26.680 Like

00:32:28.220 Position
00:32:29.220 Of
00:32:29.440 Haley
00:32:29.700 Is
00:32:30.000 Her
00:32:30.200 Weakness
00:32:30.720 To
00:32:30.920 Try
00:32:31.180 To
00:32:31.320 Bring
00:32:31.860 In
00:32:32.020 A
00:32:32.160 Broader
00:32:32.540 Crowd
00:32:32.980 Right
00:32:33.280 Like
00:32:33.480 She's
00:32:33.800 Saying
00:32:34.020 Like
00:32:34.200 Oh
00:32:34.440 Well
00:32:34.720 We
00:32:34.900 Can't
00:32:35.160 Get
00:32:35.260 Those
00:32:35.460 Votes
00:32:35.660 Right

00:33:34.700 And
00:33:34.860 Caucuses
00:33:35.400 She's
00:33:36.040 Not
00:33:36.280 Done
00:33:36.540 That
00:33:36.740 And
00:33:36.880 I
00:33:37.160 Respect
00:33:38.200 Her
00:33:38.740 For
00:33:38.960 Actually
00:33:39.440 Coming
00:33:40.100 Out
00:33:40.320 And
00:33:40.460 Defending
00:33:40.820 That
00:33:41.020 Position
00:33:41.420 As
00:33:41.940 Mike
00:33:42.180 Pence
00:33:42.500 Did
00:33:42.740 As
00:33:43.000 Well
00:33:43.260 It
00:33:43.760 Didn't
00:33:44.000 Work
00:33:44.420 But
00:33:45.220 It
00:33:45.360 Was
00:33:45.760 Honest
00:33:46.400 And
00:33:46.860 I
00:33:47.100 Like
00:33:47.480 Hearing
00:33:47.940 Different
00:33:48.700 Views
00:33:49.040 And
00:33:49.100 I
00:33:49.180 Like
00:33:49.500 The
00:33:49.680 Honesty
00:33:50.020 Of
00:33:50.220 That
00:33:50.460 Long
00:33:51.380 Term
00:33:51.660 Whether
00:33:51.980 That's
00:33:52.220 Going
00:33:52.300 To
00:33:52.380 Help
00:33:52.580 Her
00:33:52.760 I
00:33:53.100 Don't
00:33:53.240 I
00:33:53.420 Don't
00:33:53.580 Think
00:33:53.780 It
00:33:53.900 Is
00:33:54.180 In
00:33:54.740 The
00:33:54.860 Primaries
00:33:55.500 But
00:33:55.740 That's
00:33:56.400 Where
00:33:56.520 She
00:33:56.700 Is
00:33:56.840 It's
00:33:57.120 Just
00:33:57.260 Way
00:33:57.680 Out
00:33:58.020 Of
00:33:58.160 Step
00:33:58.580 With
00:33:58.880 Where
00:33:59.300 Conservatives
00:34:00.840 Are
00:34:01.080 Right
00:34:01.340 Now
00:34:01.580 I
00:34:01.940 Mean
00:34:02.060 I
00:34:02.220 Don't
00:34:02.400 Know
00:34:02.580 What
00:34:02.780 Would
00:34:02.940 Happen
00:34:03.240 If
00:34:03.380 Donald
00:34:03.640 Trump
00:34:04.040 Got
00:34:04.720 In
00:34:04.980 And
00:34:05.120 He
00:34:05.240 Was
00:34:05.380 Like
00:34:05.640 Hey
00:34:06.020 We're
00:34:06.640 Going
00:34:06.860 To
00:34:07.020 War
00:34:07.260 In
00:34:07.460 Zimbabwe
00:34:08.200 I
00:34:09.580 Would
00:34:09.780 Hope
00:34:10.060 That
00:34:10.260 We
00:34:10.380 Would
00:34:10.540 All
00:34:10.700 Go
00:34:10.900 Zimbabwe
00:34:11.560 No
00:34:11.860 I
00:34:12.140 Don't
00:34:12.300 Think
00:34:12.480 So
00:34:12.720 But
00:34:14.120 I
00:34:14.700 I
00:34:15.200 I'm
00:34:15.520 A
00:34:15.620 Skeptic
00:34:15.940 On
00:34:16.140 That
00:34:16.260 One
00:34:16.400 Glenn
00:34:16.600 I
00:34:16.780 Think
00:34:16.940 There
00:34:17.100 Would
00:34:17.200 Be
00:34:25.740 Trump
00:34:55.740 And
00:34:56.020 People
00:34:56.280 Just
00:34:56.560 Constantly
00:34:57.560 Just
00:34:58.220 Say
00:34:58.600 The
00:34:58.860 Most
00:34:59.140 Certain
00:34:59.960 Things
00:35:00.380 And
00:35:00.620 The
00:35:00.760 Dumbest
00:35:01.300 Things
00:35:01.680 Over
00:35:02.020 And
00:35:02.200 Over
00:35:02.400 And
00:35:02.520 Over
00:35:02.660 Again
00:35:02.940 Including
00:35:03.960 You know
00:35:05.780 The
00:35:05.980 Candidates
00:35:06.600 You know
00:35:07.360 Everybody
00:35:07.860 Just
00:35:08.300 Grows
00:35:08.860 Just
00:35:09.400 A
00:35:09.620 Stupid
00:35:10.420 Limb
00:35:10.980 Off
00:35:11.220 Of
00:35:11.360 Their
00:35:11.560 Tree
00:35:11.860 And
00:35:12.060 They
00:35:12.160 Just
00:35:12.360 Kind
00:35:12.560 Of
00:35:12.680 Dance
00:35:13.020 On
00:35:13.220 It
00:35:13.320 All
00:35:13.520 The
00:35:13.660 Time
00:35:13.880 But
00:35:15.000 You
00:35:15.820 Know
00:35:15.960 Last
00:35:16.400 Week
00:35:16.620 I
00:35:16.780 Told
00:35:17.020 You
00:35:17.180 That
00:35:17.540 Donald
00:35:18.100 Trump
00:35:18.300 I
00:35:18.420 Talked
00:35:18.600 To
00:35:18.700 Donald
00:35:18.920 Trump
00:35:19.200 And
00:35:19.380 He
00:35:19.540 Asked
00:35:19.840 Who
00:35:20.660 Do
00:35:20.780 You
00:35:20.880 Think
00:35:21.080 I
00:35:21.240 Should
00:35:21.480 Grab
00:35:22.720 For
00:35:23.020 Vice
00:35:23.360 President
00:35:23.760 And
00:35:24.820 I
00:35:25.840 Said
00:35:26.100 I
00:35:26.300 Think
00:35:26.880 It
00:35:27.080 Should
00:35:27.260 Be
00:35:27.400 Vivek
00:35:27.940 And
00:35:28.580 He
00:35:28.720 Said
00:35:29.060 Why
00:35:29.480 And
00:35:30.260 I
00:35:30.420 Said
00:35:30.700 Because
00:35:31.360 A
00:35:32.340 He's
00:35:32.960 Been
00:35:33.200 Very
00:35:33.480 Supportive
00:35:34.060 Of
00:35:34.240 You
00:35:34.500 I
00:35:35.640 Think
00:35:35.980 He
00:35:36.380 Would
00:35:37.340 Be
00:35:38.360 A
00:35:38.500 Good
00:35:38.880 Supporting
00:35:39.700 Vice
00:35:40.020 President
00:35:40.460 He
00:35:41.160 Could
00:35:41.420 Go
00:35:41.640 Out
00:35:41.840 And
00:35:42.000 Fight
00:35:42.260 Some
00:35:42.540 Of
00:35:42.640 The
00:35:42.760 Fires
00:35:43.180 With
00:35:43.440 The
00:35:43.580 Press
00:35:43.960 That
00:35:44.180 Would
00:35:44.480 You
00:35:45.800 Know
00:35:46.020 That
00:35:46.640 You
00:35:46.960 Would
00:35:47.180 Need
00:35:47.540 To
00:35:47.780 Fight
00:35:48.120 You
00:35:49.180 Know
00:35:49.320 You
00:35:49.480 Just
00:35:49.680 Pick
00:35:49.900 The
00:35:50.040 Ones
00:35:50.260 You
00:35:50.380 Want
00:35:51.080 Handle
00:35:51.360 All
00:35:51.880 The
00:35:52.060 Rest
00:35:52.420 And
00:35:53.940 I
00:35:54.080 Said
00:35:54.240 I
00:35:54.380 Think
00:35:54.560 He's
00:35:54.920 I
00:35:55.300 Think
00:35:55.520 He's
00:35:55.800 Young
00:35:56.220 A
00:35:57.340 Different
00:35:57.760 Generation
00:35:58.360 And
00:35:58.620 You
00:35:58.760 Could
00:35:58.940 Be
00:35:59.140 Ushering
00:35:59.620 In
00:35:59.940 The
00:36:00.700 Next
00:36:01.000 Generation
00:36:01.580 Of
00:36:02.380 Politician
00:36:03.340 And
00:36:03.980 I
00:36:04.120 Think
00:36:04.280 That
00:36:04.440 Would
00:36:04.580 Be
00:36:04.740 Good
00:36:05.060 And
00:36:05.960 He
00:36:06.140 Said
00:36:06.380 You
00:36:06.520 Know
00:36:06.700 That
00:36:07.200 Is
00:36:07.380 The
00:36:07.560 Number
00:36:07.960 One
00:36:08.340 Name
00:36:08.680 I
00:36:08.880 Hear
00:36:09.200 All
00:36:09.760 The
00:36:09.940 Time
00:36:10.300 I
00:36:10.700 Hear
00:36:11.020 That
00:36:11.320 Name
00:36:11.780 As
00:36:13.480 People's
00:36:14.400 First
00:36:14.880 Choice
00:36:15.400 For
00:36:15.960 Vice
00:36:16.840 President
00:36:17.280 He
00:36:17.800 Said
00:36:18.100 And
00:36:18.320 He's
00:36:18.560 Been
00:36:18.720 Good
00:36:18.900 To
00:36:19.080 Me
00:36:19.280 So
00:36:19.560 I
00:36:19.960 Don't
00:36:20.140 Know
00:36:20.320 I
00:36:20.580 Don't
00:36:20.720 Know
00:36:20.920 We'll
00:36:21.240 See
00:36:21.480 Yeah
00:36:22.000 And
00:36:22.420 And
00:36:22.760 Then
00:36:22.880 This
00:36:23.160 Weekend
00:36:23.560 Said
00:36:23.840 He's
00:36:24.260 Not
00:36:24.640 MAGA
00:36:25.160 And
00:36:25.820 He's
00:36:26.500 Been
00:36:26.860 Deceitful
00:36:27.700 And
00:36:28.020 You know
00:36:28.260 Again
00:36:28.560 I
00:36:28.820 Think
00:36:29.080 Once
00:36:29.680 This
00:36:29.940 Primary
00:36:30.400 Process
00:36:30.820 Is
00:36:31.040 Over
00:36:31.340 Trump
00:36:31.900 Will
00:36:32.080 Come
00:36:32.300 Back
00:36:32.600 And
00:36:32.760 Say
00:36:32.920 That
00:36:33.080 He's
00:36:33.320 Fine
00:36:33.640 And
00:36:33.840 He's
00:36:34.100 Great
00:36:34.360 And
00:36:34.540 You know
00:36:34.900 I
00:36:35.020 Mean
00:36:35.120 Like
00:36:35.320 You
00:36:35.540 Know
00:36:35.660 Look
00:36:35.860 We
00:36:36.380 Know
00:36:36.540 That
00:36:36.660 Trump's
00:36:37.380 Patterns
00:36:37.800 On
00:36:37.960 This
00:36:38.100 Stuff
00:36:38.340 But
00:36:39.040 Like
00:36:39.260 You
00:36:39.480 Know
00:36:39.560 There's
00:36:39.800 No
00:36:39.980 It's
00:36:49.560 Right
00:36:49.640 But
00:36:49.800 That's
00:36:50.060 This
00:36:50.280 Is
00:36:50.400 Not
00:36:50.520 A
00:36:50.660 Sport
00:36:51.000 You
00:36:51.720 Shouldn't
00:36:52.020 Be
00:36:52.320 Like
00:36:52.660 That
00:36:52.740 Stupid
00:36:53.640 Yeah
00:36:54.420 That's
00:36:54.620 A good
00:36:54.780 Point
00:36:55.040 I
00:36:55.300 Have
00:36:55.580 To
00:36:55.700 Back
00:36:55.940 You
00:36:56.060 Up
00:36:56.180 On
00:36:56.320 That
00:36:56.460 Analysis
00:36:56.840 Not
00:36:57.540 That
00:36:57.900 Stupid
00:36:58.260 But
00:36:58.840 Like
00:36:59.040 It's
00:36:59.240 True
00:36:59.540 It's
00:36:59.780 Like
00:36:59.900 People
00:37:00.160 Treat
00:37:00.560 These
00:37:00.860 Things
00:37:01.260 I
00:37:01.980 Can't
00:37:02.260 You
00:37:02.580 I
00:37:02.800 Look
00:37:03.480 At
00:37:03.640 You
00:37:03.900 Know
00:37:04.060 Occasionally
00:37:04.900 You
00:37:05.000 Pop
00:37:05.240 On
00:37:05.380 Social
00:37:05.640 Media
00:37:05.920 And
00:37:06.060 You
00:37:06.140 Look
00:37:06.340 Through
00:37:06.500 Your
00:37:06.640 Feed
00:37:06.860 And
00:37:06.980 It's
00:37:07.100 Like
00:37:07.300 These
00:37:08.140 There's
00:37:09.100 You
00:37:09.640 Thousands
00:37:10.120 Of
00:37:10.440 People
00:37:10.740 Who
00:37:10.980 Follow

00:37:13.100 You
00:37:13.260 Even
00:37:13.500 More
00:37:13.780 Obviously
00:37:14.220 Glenn
00:37:14.480 And
00:37:14.580 They're
00:37:14.740 All
00:37:15.080 Destroying
00:37:17.000 Each
00:37:17.220 Other

00:37:44.100 It's
00:37:44.740 Why
00:37:45.040 You
00:37:45.380 Know
00:37:45.480 We
00:37:45.680 Have
00:37:45.940 Said
00:37:46.400 From

00:37:47.220 Beginning
00:37:47.660 On
00:37:48.140 This
00:37:48.500 Is
00:37:49.060 We
00:37:49.180 Only
00:37:49.380 Violated
00:37:50.000 This
00:37:50.300 Really
00:37:50.580 I
00:37:50.800 Think
00:37:51.020 One
00:37:51.340 Time
00:37:51.800 In
00:37:52.600 My
00:37:53.040 Career
00:37:53.500 And
00:37:54.280 That

00:37:54.660 In
00:37:54.820 2016
00:37:55.440 And
00:37:56.080 That
00:37:56.220 Was
00:37:56.380 Just
00:37:57.160 A
00:37:57.480 Disaster
00:37:58.220 We
00:37:58.420 Didn't
00:37:58.600 Change
00:37:58.920 Anybody's
00:37:59.520 Mind
00:37:59.860 You
00:38:00.540 Didn't

00:38:02.360 Being
00:38:02.520 Wrong
00:38:02.880 And
00:38:03.160 So
00:38:03.320 We
00:38:03.520 Were
00:38:03.740 Saying
00:38:04.120 You
00:38:05.520 Know
00:38:05.740 Let's
00:38:07.020 Not
00:38:07.200 Say
00:38:07.480 Anything
00:38:07.940 Let's
00:38:08.860 Let
00:38:09.120 People
00:38:09.560 Decide
00:38:10.120 Because
00:38:10.480 They're
00:38:11.200 Going
00:38:11.400 To
00:38:11.580 Decide
00:38:12.040 Anyway
00:38:12.480 We're
00:38:13.340 Not
00:38:13.560 Here
00:38:13.860 To
00:38:14.100 Influence
00:38:14.640 We're
00:38:14.860 Here
00:38:15.020 To
00:38:15.220 Inform
00:38:15.680 And
00:38:16.360 So
00:38:16.500 We've
00:38:16.720 Tried
00:38:17.040 To
00:38:17.240 Do
00:38:17.400 That
00:38:17.740 Now
00:38:18.160 If
00:38:18.420 We
00:38:18.520 Can
00:38:18.680 All
00:38:18.840 Come
00:38:19.040 Together
00:38:19.320 Because
00:38:19.580 I
00:38:19.880 Don't
00:38:19.980 Know
00:38:20.080 About
00:38:20.240 Anybody
00:38:20.500 Else
00:38:20.940 But
00:38:21.960 You
00:38:23.980 Know
00:38:24.340 Unless
00:38:25.220 It's
00:38:25.740 Unless
00:38:26.060 It's
00:38:26.520 Asa
00:38:26.940 Hutchinson
00:38:27.480 I'm
00:38:28.640 Voting
00:38:29.000 For
00:38:29.260 Republican
00:38:29.880 And
00:38:30.460 Even
00:38:30.720 Then
00:38:31.220 It
00:38:32.060 Would
00:38:32.260 Be
00:38:32.520 Asa
00:38:33.320 You
00:38:33.940 Know
00:38:34.180 Even
00:38:34.420 Then
00:38:34.600 I'd
00:38:34.740 Be
00:38:34.840 Like
00:38:35.040 Oh
00:38:35.240 Okay
00:38:36.240 I
00:38:38.480 Mean
00:38:38.620 Unless
00:38:38.960 There's
00:38:39.240 Somebody
00:38:39.540 Else
00:38:39.920 On
00:38:40.320 The
00:38:40.460 Ballot
00:38:40.800 But
00:38:41.020 There's
00:38:41.420 You
00:38:41.620 Know
00:38:41.740 That
00:38:41.980 Never
00:38:42.380 Works
00:38:42.740 Out
00:38:42.960 And
00:38:43.140 You
00:38:43.340 Know
00:38:43.460 It's
00:38:44.360 So
00:38:44.540 Strange
00:38:44.980 Stu
00:38:45.280 I'm
00:38:46.100 Watching
00:38:46.520 The
00:38:46.920 Democrats
00:38:47.480 Do
00:38:47.880 Exactly
00:38:48.860 What
00:38:49.300 They
00:38:49.540 Did
00:38:49.980 In
00:38:50.580 2016
00:38:51.200 They
00:38:52.200 Think
00:38:52.800 That
00:38:53.200 They
00:38:53.420 Can
00:38:53.800 Influence
00:38:54.640 This
00:38:54.980 Election
00:38:55.440 In

00:38:56.640 Myriad
00:38:57.020 Of
00:38:57.220 Ways
00:38:57.580 By
00:38:58.000 Trying
00:38:58.580 Him
00:38:58.960 Well
00:38:59.740 That's
00:39:00.060 Not
00:39:00.220 Working
00:39:00.560 By
00:39:02.060 Possibly
00:39:02.880 Putting
00:39:03.240 Him
00:39:03.480 In

00:39:04.060 What
00:39:04.480 Is
00:39:04.660 That
00:39:04.920 Really
00:39:05.220 Going
00:39:05.480 To

00:39:21.020 That's
00:39:22.020 I

00:46:05.480 of your
00:46:05.800 house
00:46:06.220 well
00:46:07.260 some of
00:46:07.860 us are
00:46:08.120 going to
00:46:08.580 now
00:46:08.820 comparing
00:46:09.540 comparing
00:46:10.300 the average
00:46:10.720 Iowa
00:46:11.040 to the
00:46:11.340 best
00:46:11.540 athletes
00:46:12.080 in
00:46:12.220 America
00:46:12.540 might
00:46:12.820 be a bit
00:46:13.160 of a
00:46:13.380 but
00:46:16.860 some of
00:46:17.860 us are
00:46:18.140 going to
00:46:18.660 and that's
00:46:19.160 the thing
00:46:19.480 though Glenn
00:46:19.880 I don't
00:46:20.420 know what
00:46:20.780 some of
00:46:21.120 us will
00:46:21.560 I mean
00:46:21.980 I went
00:46:22.860 to the
00:46:23.300 last
00:46:23.780 the campaign
00:46:24.660 closing
00:46:25.380 event for
00:46:26.060 Ron DeSantis
00:46:26.740 last night
00:46:27.440 and even
00:46:28.240 in one of
00:46:28.640 our largest
00:46:29.220 suburbs
00:46:29.800 of Ankeny
00:46:30.380 to get
00:46:31.140 up hills
00:46:31.640 I still
00:46:32.140 had to go
00:46:32.560 four-wheel
00:46:33.160 drive
00:46:33.480 in residential
00:46:34.580 areas
00:46:35.080 three days
00:46:35.760 after this
00:46:36.360 snow left
00:46:36.860 the blowing
00:46:37.900 the drifting
00:46:38.460 most of our
00:46:39.360 residential areas
00:46:40.220 are covered
00:46:41.120 in ice
00:46:41.640 sheets of
00:46:42.200 ice
00:46:42.540 our school
00:46:43.720 kids
00:46:44.160 in the
00:46:44.820 metros
00:46:45.140 are looking
00:46:45.740 at maybe
00:46:46.180 a five-day
00:46:46.980 weekend
00:46:47.340 between the
00:46:47.900 closures
00:46:48.300 last week
00:46:49.020 and then
00:46:49.680 today the
00:46:50.120 holiday
00:46:50.440 and then
00:46:50.900 probably
00:46:51.220 tomorrow
00:46:51.660 as well
00:46:52.360 so
00:46:52.980 you never
00:46:54.300 close schools
00:46:57.240 there right
00:46:57.800 it's got to
00:46:58.780 take a lot
00:46:59.240 man
00:46:59.500 yeah
00:46:59.880 I mean
00:47:00.060 we have
00:47:01.440 this thing
00:47:01.780 called winter
00:47:02.240 every year
00:47:02.960 you know
00:47:03.460 and the
00:47:03.680 caucuses are
00:47:04.220 usually in
00:47:04.740 January and
00:47:05.340 February
00:47:05.660 but this is
00:47:07.040 pretty extraordinary
00:47:07.880 there's
00:47:08.280 there's
00:47:08.660 windchill warnings
00:47:09.580 throughout the
00:47:10.120 state literally
00:47:10.740 telling elderly
00:47:11.400 people do not
00:47:12.100 go outside
00:47:12.780 it is
00:47:14.300 the turnout
00:47:15.240 model here
00:47:15.880 tonight
00:47:16.240 is going to
00:47:17.400 be very
00:47:17.900 fascinating
00:47:18.460 I have no
00:47:19.440 idea what's
00:47:19.980 going to
00:47:20.160 happen
00:47:20.360 I really
00:47:20.660 don't
00:47:21.260 well there
00:47:22.520 you go
00:47:23.100 yet another
00:47:24.280 victim of
00:47:25.620 global cooling
00:47:27.180 warming or
00:47:29.120 whatever it
00:47:29.580 is so
00:47:30.420 who do you
00:47:31.320 think are the
00:47:31.880 most motivated
00:47:33.020 people I
00:47:33.980 mean you
00:47:34.980 know I read
00:47:35.400 about Nikki
00:47:35.960 Haley's crew
00:47:37.280 and the latest
00:47:38.720 poll shows
00:47:39.400 she's only got
00:47:40.000 about nine
00:47:41.120 percent of
00:47:41.960 those who
00:47:42.400 are behind
00:47:42.900 her really
00:47:44.700 exhilarated by
00:47:46.120 her campaign
00:47:47.020 so between
00:47:49.360 that and
00:47:51.240 now the
00:47:52.120 Democrats
00:47:52.560 saying they're
00:47:53.300 going to show
00:47:53.760 up and
00:47:54.180 caucus for
00:47:54.940 her is she
00:47:56.480 going to
00:47:56.900 actually perform
00:47:57.760 at that 20
00:47:58.700 percent that
00:47:59.420 the the
00:48:00.380 register said
00:48:01.060 she was going
00:48:01.540 to perform
00:48:02.300 at tonight
00:48:02.800 no that that
00:48:04.200 poll is a
00:48:04.720 curse to her
00:48:05.320 it really
00:48:06.820 raised expectations
00:48:07.780 for her
00:48:08.180 campaign because
00:48:09.400 most people are
00:48:10.500 just going to
00:48:10.920 read the top
00:48:11.460 line and not
00:48:11.940 the cross
00:48:12.360 tabs and if
00:48:12.880 you read the
00:48:13.180 cross tabs
00:48:13.820 basically her
00:48:15.160 base of
00:48:15.600 people isn't
00:48:16.880 motivated to
00:48:17.480 vote for and
00:48:18.140 prefers Biden
00:48:18.840 in the general
00:48:19.460 election right
00:48:20.320 so brother if
00:48:21.760 I don't know
00:48:22.980 how many
00:48:23.480 Republicans are
00:48:24.340 going to show
00:48:24.760 up in this
00:48:25.160 weather and
00:48:25.680 sit around for
00:48:26.280 an hour to
00:48:26.740 caucus I
00:48:27.760 sure as hell
00:48:28.340 don't think
00:48:28.720 there's going
00:48:29.040 to be a lot
00:48:29.460 of Democrats
00:48:29.920 and independents
00:48:30.800 that want to
00:48:31.240 come in and
00:48:31.620 hang out with
00:48:32.020 people they
00:48:32.360 probably don't
00:48:32.960 like all
00:48:33.720 right and
00:48:34.000 brave this
00:48:34.380 weather so
00:48:35.520 I actually if
00:48:36.800 I would if
00:48:37.260 you if you
00:48:37.700 made me make
00:48:38.340 one prediction
00:48:39.360 I would I
00:48:41.780 would predict
00:48:42.420 I think she's
00:48:43.920 going to finish
00:48:44.380 closer to the
00:48:45.200 vague Rama Swami
00:48:45.960 tonight than
00:48:47.740 to Ron
00:48:48.540 DeSantis
00:48:48.940 I think this
00:48:50.180 has largely
00:48:50.700 been astroturf
00:48:51.720 this entire
00:48:52.340 time the
00:48:53.160 Des Moines
00:48:53.420 register poll
00:48:54.200 is wrong
00:48:54.880 every caucus
00:48:55.600 cycle I have
00:48:56.300 no idea why
00:48:56.960 it's held up
00:48:57.400 as a gold
00:48:57.860 standard it's
00:48:58.800 held up as a
00:48:59.280 gold standard
00:48:59.780 but it's wrong
00:49:00.720 every cycle and
00:49:01.780 it's held up by
00:49:02.560 gold by the
00:49:03.460 same people that
00:49:04.040 tell you it's a
00:49:04.480 gold standard told
00:49:05.560 you a couple of
00:49:06.120 winners ago that
00:49:07.120 Chinese face
00:49:07.820 diapers are 99%
00:49:09.120 effective against
00:49:09.940 airborne contagions
00:49:11.040 okay so it's just
00:49:12.420 it's never right at
00:49:13.700 all I would go by
00:49:14.680 the behavior of
00:49:16.040 the campaigns
00:49:16.660 they know better
00:49:17.780 than anyone else
00:49:18.600 they've got the
00:49:19.480 best data but they
00:49:20.320 have the best
00:49:20.780 observation I
00:49:21.820 think the fact the
00:49:22.540 former president
00:49:23.160 hustled to get up
00:49:25.000 here one final time
00:49:25.960 over the weekend I
00:49:27.160 doubt he's concerned
00:49:27.960 about losing he's
00:49:29.140 probably more
00:49:29.660 concerned he's got to
00:49:30.820 cover a spread like
00:49:31.900 you know Glenn I
00:49:32.820 mean who's been
00:49:33.340 favored by 50 points
00:49:34.560 in these polls all
00:49:35.280 year he wins
00:49:36.180 tonight by like nine
00:49:37.140 or ten people
00:49:37.840 gonna be like what
00:49:38.360 the hell's going on
00:49:39.220 you know so yes
00:49:40.340 he's probably concerned
00:49:41.200 about that and and
00:49:43.300 and now you're
00:49:43.960 starting to see late
00:49:45.040 in the process the
00:49:46.300 organization that the
00:49:47.240 DeSantis campaign
00:49:48.180 built which was
00:49:49.200 patterned a lot after
00:49:50.200 what we built on the
00:49:51.040 cruise campaign in
00:49:51.780 2016 here but they've
00:49:53.760 done it even better I
00:49:54.620 think now you're
00:49:55.380 starting to see it
00:49:56.100 kind of harvest to
00:49:57.360 have a fruition so I
00:49:59.100 think he'll over
00:49:59.760 perform to what
00:50:00.620 extent I don't know I
00:50:01.940 could see him getting
00:50:02.720 anywhere from say 20 to
00:50:05.200 38 I could see Trump
00:50:07.200 getting anywhere from
00:50:08.600 35 to 50 I think it's
00:50:10.580 that volatile with the
00:50:12.320 with the turnout model
00:50:13.380 right now because of
00:50:14.200 the weather and
00:50:14.680 everything here in Iowa
00:50:15.500 I know that you are
00:50:17.100 you know you've you've
00:50:18.160 jumped on the DeSantis
00:50:19.200 bandwagon so try to be
00:50:20.640 as fair as you can on
00:50:21.780 this who has the most
00:50:25.860 walk through a wall of
00:50:28.560 fire or in this case
00:50:29.820 walk through an ice
00:50:30.980 storm to vote I think
00:50:34.760 that's clearly the
00:50:35.760 former president but I
00:50:36.800 think people need to
00:50:37.640 understand that and you
00:50:39.880 know this because you
00:50:40.540 came here to campaign
00:50:41.440 with Cruz against the
00:50:42.560 former president in
00:50:43.280 2016 so you saw this
00:50:44.340 with your own eyes that
00:50:45.620 the evangelical base in
00:50:47.020 Iowa is not like what
00:50:48.320 you see in a lot of red
00:50:49.280 states for Donald Trump
00:50:50.440 it is admiration not
00:50:52.320 adulation all right and
00:50:53.920 so you know for example
00:50:55.800 he won our state in the
00:50:57.080 general election twice no
00:50:58.540 Republicans done that
00:50:59.440 since Reagan he was
00:51:01.380 instrumental you know
00:51:02.700 people like me that
00:51:03.420 worked for 10 years to
00:51:04.480 try to make Iowa look
00:51:05.680 like Texas you know
00:51:06.840 the last nut we
00:51:08.120 couldn't crack is we
00:51:09.420 couldn't convince rural
00:51:10.380 counties to vote
00:51:11.120 Republican because they
00:51:12.080 thought we were all
00:51:12.620 corporatists and Trump
00:51:14.120 was kind of the last he
00:51:15.380 was he was the last
00:51:16.500 ingredient in the formula
00:51:18.080 here that helped us
00:51:18.880 split this state red by
00:51:20.240 flipping about 30
00:51:21.180 counties that voted for
00:51:22.160 Obama once or twice he
00:51:23.940 flipped them to vote for
00:51:24.800 him twice so he is
00:51:26.280 popular here but Iowans
00:51:27.680 take this process you know
00:51:29.320 I wouldn't very seriously
00:51:30.480 very serious you know
00:51:32.000 they do and they do and
00:51:33.160 I wish the rest of the
00:51:36.200 country took it as
00:51:37.680 seriously as Iowa does I
00:51:39.760 mean I was going on the
00:51:41.320 road I was shocked they
00:51:43.040 are a year out and they
00:51:44.980 are already gathering
00:51:46.700 together in their towns
00:51:48.180 and listening to campaign
00:51:50.000 speeches I mean they take
00:51:51.560 it very seriously and I
00:51:53.040 think that's great yes and
00:51:55.440 so I think they're able to
00:51:56.480 look at for example they
00:51:57.640 can say hey I love what the
00:51:58.960 former president has done
00:51:59.940 for rural Iowa it's been
00:52:01.360 great yeah we are one of
00:52:03.020 the states I know there's
00:52:03.780 a big debate in the
00:52:04.500 Republican Party right now
00:52:05.540 what the Trump brand has
00:52:06.560 done you know in places
00:52:08.200 like suburban states and
00:52:09.620 exurban states but in a
00:52:10.780 rural state like Iowa he's
00:52:12.180 been a plus benefit there's
00:52:13.420 no question about that but
00:52:14.920 Iowans are also able to
00:52:16.080 say yeah yeah just because
00:52:17.480 I liked him before doesn't
00:52:18.400 mean I like him again and
00:52:20.000 so I think that there will
00:52:22.400 be some soft Trump
00:52:23.900 supporters that will flip to
00:52:25.140 DeSantis tonight based on
00:52:26.900 the strength of his
00:52:27.640 organization what that
00:52:28.740 number will be though I
00:52:30.160 have absolutely no idea I
00:52:32.480 mean I really don't
00:52:33.940 where will where will
00:52:35.560 Nikki Haley's voters go if
00:52:37.020 they flip I don't know how
00:52:39.280 many voters she has first
00:52:40.520 of all I think she's
00:52:41.200 relying a lot on people
00:52:42.340 that don't traditionally
00:52:43.100 vote Republican and just
00:52:44.140 so people understand what I
00:52:45.260 mean by turnout models you
00:52:47.160 don't you know typically we
00:52:48.540 get about 25 or 26 percent
00:52:50.420 of Republicans will turn out
00:52:51.620 in a caucus this year it's
00:52:53.240 going to be less because we
00:52:54.700 have more Republicans in
00:52:55.720 Iowa than ever before about
00:52:56.960 670,000 so if we have say a
00:53:00.000 turnout of 150,000 which I
00:53:01.860 think would be pretty good in
00:53:02.900 this in this weather you're
00:53:04.520 talking about almost only one
00:53:06.060 out of every six Republicans
00:53:07.340 is showing up to vote here
00:53:08.460 okay so if most of in most of
00:53:11.120 her and people ask why is that
00:53:13.160 because in the caucus you vote
00:53:14.760 the way the founding fathers
00:53:15.800 did you don't show up pull a
00:53:17.440 curtain on your break and walk
00:53:18.720 out you show up you listen to
00:53:20.800 speeches maybe you'll be called
00:53:21.980 on to give a speech you'll give
00:53:23.540 an account for why you're
00:53:25.400 voting the way you are or you
00:53:26.460 can volunteer to do that
00:53:27.720 horse trading goes on there
00:53:29.180 party business goes on there
00:53:30.660 the process can take an hour or
00:53:32.660 more in some places depending on
00:53:34.240 how large the precinct is so
00:53:36.020 you've got to be really
00:53:36.980 committed to wanting to be a
00:53:38.600 part of the process to take
00:53:39.700 part in a caucus and and that's
00:53:41.420 just not the kinds of people
00:53:42.520 that typically vote for a
00:53:43.560 Nikki Haley she's basically the
00:53:45.380 John Kasich of this cycle
00:53:46.800 why do you suppose I mean I have
00:53:51.020 my opinions why do you suppose
00:53:53.220 uh DeSantis who before this
00:53:56.320 race started seemed like it
00:53:58.840 could be a lot closer between
00:54:00.920 him and Donald Trump and it just
00:54:04.040 hasn't materialized it did it
00:54:05.880 first and then it just kind of
00:54:07.720 dissipated why well if you go
00:54:11.160 and look and I think let's find
00:54:12.600 out what happens tonight I think
00:54:14.640 I think tonight will give us I'll
00:54:17.140 probably be able to answer this
00:54:18.260 question more for you tomorrow in
00:54:20.940 terms of both its premise and
00:54:22.320 application based on what happens
00:54:23.920 tonight but preemptively you know
00:54:26.400 if you look at the real clear
00:54:27.680 politics national polling average
00:54:29.180 on March 30th it was something
00:54:31.500 like 42 Trump 32 DeSantis and and
00:54:34.760 he wouldn't even be a candidate for
00:54:36.380 another almost two months right a
00:54:38.780 week later on April 6th Trump is
00:54:40.720 now up like 54 to 25 so what
00:54:43.600 happened DeSantis isn't even a
00:54:44.900 candidate what happened is on March
00:54:46.560 31st Donald Trump got indicted by
00:54:48.180 Alvin Bragg and and and the biggest
00:54:50.860 pin and pull and yin and yang of this
00:54:52.740 cycle has been you know what's
00:54:56.940 happening to Trump is wrong so you
00:54:58.880 have these you have these dual you
00:55:01.500 know philosophies Trump can't can't
00:55:03.920 win another national election we've
00:55:06.600 lost every national election cycle
00:55:08.200 since he miraculously won in 2016
00:55:10.200 versus vis-a-vis what they're doing
00:55:12.900 to him is wrong it's un-American and
00:55:15.400 you know I want him to return like
00:55:17.140 MacArthur in the Philippines and we're
00:55:18.780 going to finish this script and if you
00:55:20.820 look at the internals of a lot of the
00:55:22.600 the polls that had him with way ahead
00:55:24.860 of DeSantis which you'll see is in
00:55:26.960 favorabilities DeSantis is either even
00:55:29.300 with Trump or often ahead and I think
00:55:31.680 the biggest sell that that Ron DeSantis
00:55:33.580 has had to make I think there's a lot of
00:55:35.760 people I think what people like you and
00:55:37.280 me see on Twitter that that we've
00:55:39.900 destroyed Ron DeSantis' brand but you
00:55:42.140 know these Trump influencers that's just
00:55:43.560 not true if it were his favorables
00:55:45.820 would have plummeted I think what
00:55:47.560 DeSantis has had to do is get out of
00:55:49.480 the friend zone he's had this he's got
00:55:51.660 to make the sale that said that his time
00:55:53.460 is now and I think people are torn
00:55:55.660 between do we turn the page from Trump
00:55:57.360 or do we finish this finish the script
00:55:59.680 with Trump and that's why I said I want
00:56:01.780 to see and wait what happens tonight to
00:56:04.520 give you a more definitive answer
00:56:06.480 because I think this will be the first
00:56:08.260 verdict on or how successful can you be
00:56:11.420 convincing people that Trump's time has
00:56:13.480 passed and it's your time now as
00:56:15.720 opposed to 2028 and if he performs if
00:56:18.720 he falls into third you think he's done
00:56:22.300 or not I'd be I'd be stunned if he
00:56:24.680 finished third yeah I would too I would
00:56:26.740 too I think he's going if there's two
00:56:28.940 things I'm confident in it'll be a
00:56:30.780 disappointing turnout and he's going to
00:56:33.020 overperform but I don't know what
00:56:34.680 overperform is I could it be 22 could
00:56:37.660 it be 38 40 I mean I think the
00:56:41.000 when when we're talking rural America
00:56:43.480 rural Iowa where Trump's needs huge
00:56:46.860 turnouts and and people may have to
00:56:49.080 drive tractors to get to precinct sites
00:56:51.100 given where things are going on right
00:56:52.500 now I just you know um the you know he
00:56:56.600 the average Fox News viewer is 69 years
00:56:58.760 old as you well know I mean those are
00:57:00.740 very supportive of Trump I don't know
00:57:02.680 how how many of those people are going
00:57:04.380 to come out in this weather given their
00:57:06.940 health and the dangers of the ice and
00:57:08.800 everything else I just don't know the
00:57:10.040 answer to that okay hang on just a
00:57:12.480 second Steve Dace he is the author of
00:57:15.500 the rise of the fourth Reich and also a
00:57:18.900 blaze TV personality follows this
00:57:21.420 program he is in Iowa lives in Iowa has
00:57:25.080 been there forever and can really give

00:57:51.560 painted five years ago in fact I thought
00:57:54.320 I was gonna have to give a broadcast my
00:57:56.460 hands were so bad with pain and shaking
00:58:00.260 with pain all the time that there were
00:58:03.160 times we had we had signals on television
00:58:06.180 make sure you take the camera off of me
00:58:08.620 it was a signal that I would do down by
00:58:11.240 my waist that was off frame and my whole
00:58:14.300 staff knew oh trouble he's in pain so
00:58:17.280 take the camera off because he's gonna
00:58:18.780 win sir his hands are gonna curl up I
00:58:21.600 really thought it was the end for me you

00:58:55.840 10 seconds station ID all right Steve I
00:59:11.960 don't know if they've just asked you so
00:59:13.720 we had such little time how long can you
00:59:15.840 stay with me I've got to you know what I
00:59:19.440 stayed late so I'm not on the cell on the
00:59:21.540 way to the office but I got to go here in
00:59:23.060 like 20 minutes okay tell me about
00:59:26.880 the kerfuffle if you will between Donald
00:59:33.660 Trump and Ramaswamy this weekend
00:59:35.740 here's I have what I think is twofold
00:59:40.620 number one you know we have in a lot of
00:59:44.060 these races you have these under the
00:59:45.300 radar issues that just don't penetrate
00:59:47.300 the national coverage and in Iowa right
00:59:50.000 now and in northwest Iowa especially where
00:59:51.920 we have a large concentration of
00:59:53.640 Republicans there is a huge deal with
00:59:56.180 eminent domain and it been since and
00:59:58.920 there's Republican Party interest on both
01:00:00.820 sides of it some want the fuel to go
01:00:02.760 through the community others want to keep
01:00:04.180 their farms and so this is a very
01:00:06.360 divisive issue on the right right now in
01:00:08.440 Iowa and the bake after he didn't
01:00:10.820 qualify for the last debate has really
01:00:12.600 focused a lot of his energy on that issue
01:00:14.720 and and and number one so I think number
01:00:17.800 one I think the Trump campaign is concerned
01:00:20.200 that he may be drawing from some of their
01:00:22.520 rural support and if they're concerned
01:00:24.720 about either winning or more likely meeting
01:00:26.700 expectations if the bake gets four five or
01:00:29.180 six points higher than the polls today or
01:00:31.180 tonight it's it's going to be at Trump's
01:00:33.100 expense nobody else's and I think they're
01:00:34.600 concerned about that but then also you know
01:00:37.320 one of the guys I've met in this process
01:00:40.200 is a tech entrepreneur from Florida successful
01:00:42.760 guy named Robert Salvador and he is trying to
01:00:45.460 bring AI to public polling and using AI to
01:00:49.500 basically look at people's digital
01:00:50.980 footprints what they're actually posting in
01:00:52.720 public on their social media pages because
01:00:55.060 that's more honest about what they think
01:00:56.640 than what they tell pollsters okay yes and
01:00:58.860 what he has been seeing is an uptick in
01:01:01.300 these last couple of weeks in two candidates
01:01:03.520 digital footprints the Santis but also the
01:01:05.740 bake and if you know you know Trump is the
01:01:08.540 one candidate on the right going back to
01:01:11.020 2016 with parscale and others who really
01:01:13.560 understood how to use data Cambridge
01:01:15.580 Analytica all that kind of stuff to his
01:01:17.300 advantage in the world he lives in and I
01:01:19.340 also wonder if they are seeing that increase
01:01:21.580 in the bake's digital footprint as well I
01:01:23.860 think they're concerned that the bake may
01:01:26.220 play a role in either him winning tonight or
01:01:28.880 more likely him meeting expectations and so
01:01:31.680 I think order 66 went out all right we have
01:01:34.800 only two minutes in Vivek Ramaswamy joins me
01:01:37.280 after the break here at the bottom of the
01:01:38.680 hour in just a few minutes but we're
01:01:40.820 talking to Steve Dace Steve do you think
01:01:43.660 that the Democrats did the indictments and
01:01:48.280 all of this stuff to help Donald Trump win
01:01:53.280 the primary or is this something that's
01:01:56.900 backfiring on them yes I do I I absolutely
01:02:01.600 think that they believe they did this in
01:02:03.820 2016 he got 60 times more coverage than any
01:02:06.760 other candidate because they thought he was
01:02:07.940 the clown and they could beat him and and
01:02:09.500 then it blew up in their faces and I think
01:02:10.840 that is what enraged them against him all
01:02:12.720 the more I think the same thing they have a
01:02:14.900 formula for how to brand him particularly
01:02:16.860 the suburban voters it has worked in every
01:02:19.100 election cycle since I do think that's the
01:02:21.280 case and yes I also think it's backfiring on
01:02:23.780 them because they're you know they're
01:02:25.860 basically like the mob outside Lot's house
01:02:28.100 Glenn they can't contain themselves and so
01:02:30.580 Jack Smith had this well thought out plan and
01:02:33.160 then all of a sudden the state of Colorado
01:02:34.600 says we're gonna jump in line and disqualify
01:02:36.780 him from the ballot now before you can hatch
01:02:38.820 your plan and they all you can there's two
01:02:41.200 things in American politics Glenn you can
01:02:42.800 always count on Republican gutlessness and
01:02:45.820 Democrats absolutely exceeding their mandate
01:02:48.220 and creating blowback against themselves as a
01:02:50.100 result those are the two constants all right
01:02:52.700 Steve thank you so much we'll we'll talk to you
01:02:56.420 again hopefully tomorrow and blessings on the
01:03:00.500 people of Iowa stay safe tonight but please if
01:03:05.200 you can go out and caucus for your candidate
01:03:08.200 Iowa is is one of the states I think New
01:03:12.620 Hampshire is as well that really take it
01:03:14.960 seriously for an extended period of time and
01:03:19.800 Iowa your chance to be heard is today go out and
01:03:24.840 caucus tonight

01:04:49.700 welcome to the Glenn Beck program we're really glad that you're here thank you so much
01:05:17.640 there is a story from nbc news by the way we're going to talk to
01:05:22.440 vivek ramaswamy here in just a second
01:05:24.480 there is a story that came out from nbc this uh this weekend and it is really
01:05:30.780 disturbing um tell me when vivek is on um you have you have him
01:05:36.540 okay um this story is about how the democrats have all of these groups now meeting finding ways to
01:05:48.120 thwart donald trump from being president um and they are saying that he's going to now listen to
01:05:55.400 this carefully if he becomes uh president he will use the military in dictatorial ways
01:06:02.400 so in other words he will purge the military of anybody that voted for biden
01:06:08.500 now that's exactly what biden did with maga supporters remember that they shut the military
01:06:16.480 down because of january 6th and then purged all of the people that were conservatives
01:06:22.160 um then they say that um he will use the court system and he will put his uh detractors
01:06:31.480 in jail well he's done that as well biden has everything they worry about trump doing
01:06:38.520 they've already done except for one thing and that is quoting them he's not beyond assassinating
01:06:47.520 his political enemies that is disturbing that they would say that about donald trump especially
01:06:55.300 when they've done everything else on this list we have uh vivek ramaswamy on uh with us now from
01:07:03.120 iowa uh hey vivek how are you glenn how you doing i'm good uh i have to ask you about the thing from
01:07:12.380 donald trump this weekend he said vivek started his campaign as a great supporter unfortunately now
01:07:18.200 he's disguising his support in the form of deceitful campaign tricks don't get duped by this vote for
01:07:23.800 trump don't waste your vote um how do you how do you feel about that yeah i think he had a kinder post
01:07:30.680 this morning that he put up as well i mean look i think his there's a couple things going on here
01:07:34.700 glenn just to speak a few hard truths one is anybody who's on the ground here in iowa is seeing a very
01:07:39.960 late surge here for me many of the people who were expected to endorse trump very strong america
01:07:46.840 first patriots like steve king who i think was wrongly denigrated by the media he was widely
01:07:52.420 expected to endorse trump he actually came out in strong and full-throated support of me because
01:07:57.580 of a couple of the positions i've taken here in iowa for iowans against eminent domain against the
01:08:03.280 climate change cult and a carbon capture pipeline here in the state so anyway i think there's a lot of
01:08:07.740 momentum here in my direction so i think that that's one big factor i think another factor
01:08:12.240 though is in this whole race glenn i don't care if it's left or right or to our own movement or
01:08:16.760 outward i'm going to speak the hard truth and there's one hard truth that is staring us in the
01:08:22.100 face and it hurts to hear it but it's the truth i have stood against these persecutions against trump
01:08:27.880 more strongly than anybody else i filed an amicus brief with the supreme court last week pushing
01:08:33.540 back against the colorado decision and glenn i'm gonna be really honest with you the reason i
01:08:38.060 filed that amicus brief is i don't i don't have the confidence that trump's team was going to make
01:08:41.600 all of the correct legal arguments that needed to be made because it needs to be the right thing for
01:08:45.820 the country which is why i did it so i push back at every step but we have to be realistic for this
01:08:50.580 country and open our eyes that there's a plot and it's hiding in plain sight they want to narrow this
01:08:56.160 down to a two-horse race between trump and a puppet who they can control as you were just alluding to
01:09:01.660 one way or another eliminate trump from contention and it is disgusting but then they can trot their
01:09:07.120 puppet into the white house and we owe it to this country to make sure that it doesn't happen
01:09:11.640 and so some people would say why are you in this race it's because i have a responsibility to this
01:09:17.100 country to make sure that does not happen we have to open our eyes last time it was a man-made
01:09:21.980 pandemic in a rigged election this time they're going to stop at nothing and i increasingly worry
01:09:27.520 glenn it means nothing and so i'm worried for the future of this country i'm worried for trump i'm worried
01:09:31.540 for this year i think we're skating on thin ice as a country and we cannot fall for the trap that's
01:09:36.900 been laid for us and yes the truth hurts sometimes but the first step to actually solving it is to see
01:09:42.860 the truth and speak it without hiding from it you know the democrats always tip their hand because
01:09:48.420 whatever they accuse the right of they're doing uh yeah and it it disturbs me because this is the first
01:09:56.860 time i've heard from a credible source you know credible in quotation marks like nbc news where
01:10:03.640 they are actually saying that donald trump could assassinate his political enemies um don't put it
01:10:10.880 past him tell you glenn it tells me that they are willing to do that think about it well i you have to
01:10:17.580 skate to where the puck is going people and we're none of us is god well none of us is immortal none of us
01:10:22.640 is beyond i mean you know what i do think we're in the middle of a deeper war in this country and i
01:10:28.240 think it goes even beyond just this realm i think that there's a form of spiritual warfare in this
01:10:32.100 country right now and i think that it is something that we have to open our eyes to as a reality
01:10:36.680 that this system is corrupt and they will stop at nothing and you look at the electoral tactics they
01:10:43.940 were trying to use in the lawsuits and now forget the judicial system just remove him from the ballot
01:10:48.420 because somebody says on a whim in the state of maine that we're removing him they are selling us
01:10:53.320 the rope today that they will use to hang us tomorrow they want this to be a two-horse race
01:10:58.120 they want to eliminate trump and they want to trot a puppet who they can control into the white house
01:11:03.520 and i can't be controlled glenn and so i'm actually going to be the one who's able to
01:11:07.540 make sure that that doesn't happen if i'm able to do my responsibility to this country by being in this
01:11:12.900 race and seeing it through to the very end and so i think that our movement sometimes the truth hurts
01:11:18.320 but we owe it to this country we owe it to our founding fathers our america first movement did
01:11:23.560 not start in 2016 it started in 1776 and so i know some of the hard trump supporters and heck i was one
01:11:32.920 of them right and i am in spirit of what it represents still part of that and support donald trump
01:11:38.620 against these unjust persecutions but we owe it to this country to make sure we don't look back a year
01:11:44.940 from now here's a way to look at this glenn all the people who will say well you're taking votes
01:11:49.020 away from trump and so why are you in this race i want you to fast forward to a year from now
01:11:54.100 and a year from now let's say things play out exactly the way that i've said it they then trot
01:11:58.300 in a puppet into the white house that they can control do you want to look back a year from now
01:12:02.420 and are we going to say oh we were shocked that that happened we didn't see that coming or are we
01:12:06.840 going to say what the heck were we thinking when we fell right into that trap and we have a puppet in
01:12:12.660 the white house rather than an america first patriot so do not fall for that trap that's what
01:12:17.400 i'm saying you're not talking about nicky haley you're talking about a democratic puppet i'm talking
01:12:23.400 about whatever puppet is they can control and i think nicky haley is looking like the next one
01:12:27.420 they're trying for in the republican party glenn and if they fail with that then it's going to be
01:12:31.640 the next puppet who's gavin newsom or whoever else but the system is agnostic the deep state i think
01:12:37.000 is agnostic to whether they are or the d comes after your name it's whether you advance the
01:12:41.020 consistent permanent war agenda and the surveillance state agenda here at home
01:12:44.800 nicky haley has said she wants driver's license tied to every social media account and internet
01:12:50.320 account i don't know if that's coming from jack smith or joe biden or nicky haley but they want
01:12:54.060 donald trump and a puppet who they can control eliminate trump and trot in their puppet that's the
01:12:58.720 game and we cannot fall for it so you just said you're going all the way to the end uh if if you
01:13:06.080 finish uh fourth in the next three let's just say um you won't drop out are you staying in to the end
01:13:15.120 well that's not what's going to happen glenn first of all right i think we're going to shock the world
01:13:19.040 at the iowa caucus tonight and anybody who isn't on the ground here i think has their head in the sand
01:13:23.360 i think people who are here on the ground are seeing a late surge the polls are dead wrong
01:13:28.120 you see the likes of steve holt or steve king some of the strongest constitutional conservatives in the
01:13:32.860 state switching their endorsements some of them others surprise endorsing me at the late cycles
01:13:37.920 in the last 72 hours and so i think we're gonna deliver a major shock tonight but i think there's
01:13:43.380 something deeper going on it's not about trump it's not about me it's about this country glenn yeah and
01:13:48.420 i do think that there is a plan hiding in plain sight and if we have our eyes closed to it shame on
01:13:54.380 us last time it was a man-made pandemic and a rigged election as i said so fool me once shame on you
01:14:00.120 fool me twice shame on me and the plot is hiding in plain sight it's up to us to open our eyes and
01:14:05.760 to see it and we deserve and require an america first patriot in the white house rather than a
01:14:12.140 puppet for the permanent states which is what we're going to get otherwise why should somebody vote over
01:14:18.260 over trump because your support is trump support i mean he asked me last week who he should pick his
01:14:26.020 vice president should he win the um the vote here the the nomination and i said vivek um i said he's
01:14:35.160 he's a lot like you he's a fighter he can make great cases for the american people etc etc and i think he's
01:14:41.740 a young up-and-comer that would make a good president at some point let me let me say a word about that
01:14:46.120 one glenn actually is is you know what i've been i i haven't really given that a lot of thought until
01:14:51.400 a million people asked me that and so i actually have given it some thought and here's the answer
01:14:55.700 to that question is that would need to be a discussion with trump where i would say listen
01:15:01.840 i want you to make sure we're on the same page i don't want to build a new building for the fbi
01:15:05.680 i want to shut it down i don't want to have crony subsidies to carbon capture pipelines i want to end
01:15:13.200 them i want to shut down many of these agencies i actually do think we need accountability in our own
01:15:18.460 republican party that we shouldn't support the likes of ronna mcdaniel sitting in that seat
01:15:22.400 that we should on day one actually pardon every peaceful january 6 protester and see that through
01:15:28.200 admit that there were some mistakes made in the past and we're going to correct for them with the
01:15:31.780 vaccines and make sure that vaccine liabilities for companies that we don't get a special shield
01:15:37.800 from being sued and i'd want to make sure we're on the same page about those things right now i don't
01:15:42.140 know if we are i'm the only one who's taken a lot of those positions but the way i'm looking at it
01:15:46.960 glenn is right now in this race if i have that long list to say that in order to be vice president
01:15:51.020 i'd need an agreement from donald trump that he agrees with me and is committed to seeing each
01:15:55.460 of those things through all the way through yes shutting down the fbi not building a new building
01:15:59.920 or reforming it and if so then you know what i would honestly consider it but right now given that
01:16:05.400 that list is long here's how i'm doing it is at a certain point the list is long enough that you say
01:16:09.860 the best way i can do this is actually about being the next president bleeding from the front and taking
01:16:14.460 donald trump as my advisor to do the right thing for this country which i will do if i'm the president
01:16:19.180 i've only got about 90 seconds what is your plan for the border
01:16:22.340 my plan for the border is use our military to seal it we've got 40 000 troops in places like germany
01:16:29.300 where they don't advance our interest germany isn't paying for its own national self-defense
01:16:32.640 they can move those troops to our own border end federal funding for sanctuary cities and i go further
01:16:39.220 end birthright citizenship for the kids of illegals that ends the incentives to come here for an anchor baby
01:16:44.780 and anybody who's in this country illegally must be returned to their country of origin
01:16:50.420 and the way we do it is use the law the existing laws allow you to leverage local law enforcement to serve
01:16:56.960 the warrants that's a million local law enforcement no president has done it but the existing laws allow for it
01:17:03.020 and so i do think it takes a president glenn and this goes to the question about trump and myself
01:17:07.280 takes a president from the outside who has sharp elbows and can break things and trump brings that
01:17:12.620 and i think i bring that on steroids but i also think it's going to take a president who knows and
01:17:17.420 deeply understands personally the law and the constitution of this country so we're not going
01:17:22.960 to be duped by that same swamp class of advisors and so that's why i'm in this and i'm going to see this
01:17:27.940 through to the very end and i believe i have a duty to this country to see this through and either
01:17:32.420 way it has to be an america first patriot in that white house well good luck uh tonight vivek appreciate
01:17:38.340 it thank you so much for being on god bless thanks a lot glenn thank uh we did invite um all of the
01:17:44.620 other candidates uh vivek at this point is the one that took us up on it uh we would hope to be able
01:17:50.380 to talk to the other candidates if their campaigns are listening now we would love to have them on before
01:17:55.980 the end of the broadcast to get one final thought and one final pitch uh to our audience on why
01:18:02.400 you should be president of the united states our sponsor this half hour is uh patriot mobile
01:18:10.220 patriot mobile is a different kind of company patriot mobile is a phone service company that
01:18:20.180 is really dedicated first to god in the constitution they are a business that if they if they couldn't
01:18:28.120 give you great service they wouldn't be in business you know for very long they are uh have been around
01:18:33.860 now for i think 10 years they just had i think their 10th year anniversary they've been around for 10
01:18:38.760 years they're constantly growing but they take some of their profits and they plow it back in to
01:18:45.240 supporting you at school board meetings supporting the constitution standing up for life the second
01:18:51.400 amendment these guys are fighting on our side they're they're a mobile phone company that believes
01:18:58.320 in the same things you do why would you send your money to a corporation that is woke and fighting
01:19:05.460 against you we've got to help the people who are helping us join patriot mobile do what i do i don't even
01:19:13.140 carry a phone but i bought a phone it's always charging by my bedside i bought a phone just so i could
01:19:20.020 uh support patriot mobile patriot mobile dot com slash beck that's patriot mobile dot com slash beck or
01:19:28.260 call 972 patriot you're listening to the glenn beck program
01:19:34.420 welcome to the uh program we have somebody on uh who uh uh worked in intelligence and uh national
01:20:02.300 security over in england uh and just attended a uh kind of a i don't know a weekend uh
01:20:14.620 what do you call them stew you know some weekend thing where you go and you you get new ideas and
01:20:19.580 new training and symposium thank you symposium uh and uh in that she found that
01:20:28.060 they weren't really as uh in line with the english people perhaps even americans and freedom and uh
01:20:39.340 an actual representative republic uh the end of the uh article that she wrote last week said that
01:20:48.240 the lecturer said to what extent should joe rogan and douglas murray be suppressed i mean they have
01:20:54.880 millions of followers so if we de-platform them it would cause issues so society needs to find other
01:21:02.060 ways to suppress them now they were talking to these um intelligence groups that are outside of the
01:21:11.800 government so basically giving them instruction you need to find a way to suppress their voices
01:21:17.740 that is incredibly terrifying she's going to be on with us here in uh in just a second
01:21:24.780 also davos starts today um and these are just horrible people i think these are eugenicists uh they are
01:21:35.960 anti-human um and are looking to take over your entire life and they will do it i mean right now the
01:21:46.020 biden administration if they don't have any control over anything how come the biden administration was
01:21:51.420 so worried about the chinese participation in the wef at davos this week why are they so upset about
01:21:59.040 that this is just a collection of nobodies going out and being ski bunnies no no it's not we'll have
01:22:06.540 more on this coming up and this week all this week as davos goes on
01:22:12.220 the glenn beck program
01:22:22.920 we have no room to compromise
01:22:44.200 we gotta stay together
01:22:48.280 if we're gonna survive
01:22:52.340 stay up straight
01:22:55.780 and hold the line
01:22:59.700 it's a new day
01:23:03.080 time to rise
01:23:05.680 welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenn beck program
01:23:21.540 welcome to the glenn beck program i have said that i think this is the year that america decides
01:23:31.100 whether we survive or not and that we are truly the western world is one major event away from the
01:23:40.020 loss of freedom of speech the intelligence agencies have as have been pointed out in congressional hearings
01:23:48.320 are silencing voices all around the west partnering with the five eyes and operating cognitive psyops
01:23:58.280 now this is not a theory this has come out in congressional hearings from whistleblowers
01:24:04.080 this is what we used to call brainwashing
01:24:07.200 and we are using our military
01:24:09.760 the military and intelligence operations of the five biggest nations in the west

01:25:45.940 so i read an article by anna stanley last week and it was hair raising
01:25:51.960 i sent it to all of my relatives and i said and so it begins
01:25:56.120 she attended a king's college course called issues encountering terrorism
01:26:01.460 it was organized by the center for defense studies designed for civil servants and professionals
01:26:07.460 in counterterrorism staff from the foreign office of the uk ministry of justice ministry of defense
01:26:13.880 home office and it was all a three-day course with lecturers from king's college
01:26:21.080 visiting senior research fellows professors and they included those who held former positions
01:26:28.020 such as permanent secretary of the home office director of gchq defense minister
01:26:34.940 and foreign office director so this is not some fringy thing
01:26:39.240 this is in this is involving some of the greater minds and the known names in england
01:26:46.580 anna is here to tell us what she experienced hi anna
01:26:50.360 hi glenn thank you so much for having me on your show
01:26:53.320 oh you bet uh i i found your article terrifying really terrifying um tell me what you tell me what
01:27:01.700 you experienced
01:27:02.600 um well where to start um i mean yeah you introduced it um it was a course for civil servants um so that is
01:27:12.040 um staff uh enacting the will of the uk government um only the lecturers were espousing um views which
01:27:20.200 were very contrary to that um which the government's trying to perpetuate at the moment uh in the realm of
01:27:26.160 counterterrorism um it there was one point where the lecturer actually went against the latest
01:27:32.040 government commissioned review of prevent um and he actually uh derogatively characterized
01:27:37.600 william shorecross who wrote the review as uh of prevent um as saying all counter-terrorist
01:27:42.860 um professionals are woke he is of that ilk he said so wait wait wait wait what is first of all
01:27:48.600 what is prevent can you explain that yeah sorry i should have done so in the uk uh prevent is the
01:27:55.520 uk's counter-terrorism strategy it looks at radicalization in the uk and how to tackle it
01:28:01.380 and it's the policy that all counter-terrorism professionals follow um and there was recently
01:28:07.280 reviewed but it gets reviewed every few years um and it basically obviously gets reviewed for how
01:28:13.700 effective it's being um and there's been a massive movement over the last few years um or an attempt
01:28:20.860 movement i should say rather to uh put uh ideology at the center of counter-terrorism uh this is something
01:28:28.700 shorecross is arguing because basically um previously uh people who committed terrorism they were
01:28:34.460 seen as almost victims it was seen as a safeguarding issue in the uk you know uh they would acknowledge
01:28:41.260 and maybe these people have been victims of crime or um linked to crime or they've been in domestic
01:28:46.940 abuse relationships there was a real lack of um giving them responsibility but also placing ideology
01:28:53.260 as a major motivating factor um and one of the lecturers really went against uh that recommendation of
01:29:01.380 the the shorecross review um as well as yeah many other parts of the course which were so concerning
01:29:08.140 so what i what i got from from you um and other sources is and we can see it happening um is a
01:29:17.320 uh softening of people of of calling out terrorists who might happen to be islamic extremists
01:29:27.580 uh and instead pinning extremism on the regular you know joe on the streets of england and saying
01:29:38.740 that those who believe in england and freedom and everything else that those might be the terrorists
01:29:44.340 i mean i couldn't agree more and in my article i basically referenced that one of the civil servant
01:29:50.780 attendees uh basically professed that her brother had actually been radicalized and fought for
01:29:57.060 the islamic state in syria um which i think is quite a dramatic revelation um later on we were
01:30:04.160 shown a video which was actually a jihadi um from london and he was it was an advertisement to recruit
01:30:11.660 people into syria to fight for jihad and she also recognized him too she went he went to my school
01:30:17.380 um she said um and this uh same uh person um she was also a civil servant we were all given a
01:30:25.920 presentation to do um as part of the course and hers was uh basically undermining prevent and saying
01:30:32.480 that it's inherently racist because it focuses on islamist extremism uh and it makes muslims feel
01:30:37.980 uncomfortable um and you're exactly right uh yeah i mean to be honest i was so shot especially the
01:30:44.980 revelation about the brother i mean i was really looking around the room like what did she just say
01:30:50.580 that and it was bizarre people really just didn't seem to think it was a big deal um but you're so
01:30:57.540 right about this this uh the priorities just being completely skewed um and i don't know sorry the facts
01:31:05.760 do point out that 70 percent of terrorist attacks in the uk are islamist correct is that a solid number
01:31:14.500 yeah exactly i did actually say that to the room um i basically used the comparison of uh people who
01:31:20.720 smoke and said that around 70 percent of lung cancers are caused by smoking um so you would
01:31:26.060 expect it would be really counterproductive not to discuss that just to not cause offense to smoking
01:31:31.520 right so in that same logic it'd be very bizarre not to discuss aslamist extremism just because there
01:31:37.780 are um muslims who would find that uncomfortable right smokers would find cancer
01:31:44.100 uncomfortable if you kept pointing it out too um the um uh the overall
01:31:50.520 um is this is this coming from uh a um political correctness is this coming from an anti-jew
01:32:04.500 is this coming where where where did this start and and what's the purpose behind it do you think
01:32:11.740 it's one of those things that's hard to answer because i think it's it's it's so many things
01:32:18.660 it's not just one thing you know i think ultimately identity politics the kind of worldview that
01:32:24.080 puts power views everything through the lens of power unfortunately um jews often come out uh bottom
01:32:31.200 there well they come out the top in the sense they're viewed at the top of the social hierarchy
01:32:35.320 they're seen as possessing white privilege um and also identity politics breeds the kind of things
01:32:41.580 that says one of the slides read um condemning terrorism is to endorse the power of the strong
01:32:46.820 over the weak and terrorism is not the problem rather the systems they oppose the terrorists
01:32:51.180 these are ideas which people often wrongly but do apply to israel um because they view palestinians
01:32:58.840 as being unequal um in kind of asymmetric warfare um so they're really quite sinister stuff and even
01:33:06.140 though i think people usually aren't overtly explicitly anti-semitic the types of um identity politics that
01:33:13.340 they end up consuming often uh affecting jews and israel too as a consequence um i read a story um
01:33:22.820 about sir lindsey hoyle the speaker of the uk house of commons um and there was a a diary note from
01:33:31.400 his office that said he was going to meet with the palestinian ambassador to britain last week and that
01:33:37.620 as part of a speaker-led diplomacy we will be flying the palestinian flag in honor of the palestinian
01:33:45.440 ambassador but the problem is there is no palestinian ambassador well there's no state being
01:33:51.940 ambassador of right there's no state i mean so what what what is happening
01:33:58.740 i mean but exactly uh it's hard to say i mean you know i'm i know that america and the uk and europe
01:34:08.960 they're all experiencing mass extremism on the street people coming out protesting in the name of
01:34:14.940 uh pro-palestine um but actually they're they're deeply anti-semitic and anti as well but more
01:34:20.700 importantly perhaps for your show they're not just anti-semitic and anti-israel they really are
01:34:25.000 anti-western uh they're anti-american ideals i know you hold dearly um and that is often at the
01:34:32.240 crux of it uh lying underneath i think influencing these people whether they're aware of it or not
01:34:37.480 but i think actually yeah people are aware of it more than people give them credit for
01:34:43.340 so we just had a whistleblower here in the united states testify in front of congress that
01:34:49.120 um we have the american pentagon and our intelligence agencies along with um the british
01:34:58.960 military intelligence uh working together with five eyes to spy on the american people and the western
01:35:08.900 people um to find those that are radical and then suppress them as much as possible uh discredit even
01:35:18.620 use banking as a way to separate them from society and if they have strong voices to shut it down
01:35:26.900 that that i was talking about last week and then i read your story um to where one of the uh one of the
01:35:36.700 lecturers said to what extent should joe rogan and douglas murray be suppressed they have millions
01:35:42.720 of followers to de-platform them de-platform them would cause issues so society needs to find
01:35:49.800 other ways to suppress them what did they mean by that oh look i mean i mean i was so godfax when i
01:35:59.240 heard that um i can i only hope that he was speaking very freely and ad-lib and he by no means
01:36:06.500 intended those words to be as sinister as they sound um i think he was really just revealing the types of
01:36:14.160 um sensorial um views and inclinations that a lot of people have within academia and of course he was
01:36:22.200 talking to a room full of civil servants as well um and you're right there is a trend towards uh
01:36:29.000 suppression of what is deemed as radical voices um i have referenced douglas murray um i'm a massive fan
01:36:35.280 of his and his writing um but yeah he's uh considered far right by this uh lecturer in
01:36:41.400 counterterrorism um and yeah example also nigel farage um i believe his but he was uh his bank account
01:36:49.780 was closed down um because of his um views as well uh which is a deeply disturbing precedent to be set
01:36:57.980 where do the english people stand on this i mean it seems as though as i watch europe and uh even the
01:37:08.040 acts of brexit and what's happening here each country is being told it's just a few of these crazy
01:37:15.820 whatever you know farmers or you know radical farmers or uh radical conservatives here in america
01:37:24.840 whatever it is but it seems to me the same message is coming from the people and that is
01:37:31.220 i i'd like my country back i'd like my rights back i'm tired of the elites telling us exactly what to do
01:37:40.400 because you're screwing it up as elites we we don't want any of this stuff is that the feeling in england
01:37:48.000 um yeah i think it really depends who you talk to i think in england a phrase that gets uh banded
01:37:55.980 around a lot is the the silent majority um and it seems that we do have a kind of silent majority in
01:38:01.840 the uk um who are saying exactly the kind of thing you just said um but in the civil service um very much
01:38:09.240 in academia it's very unpopular to talk about things like uh freedom of speech freedom of expression
01:38:15.900 and talk about examples in society where they're coming under threat it's really considered
01:38:21.100 something that the right in averted commas do um i know you're you're speaking from america and you
01:38:26.560 know people say right wing they're um more casually you really would never hear someone describing
01:38:32.460 themselves as that in the uk you know um the types of things that uh advocates on the right in america
01:38:38.500 are arguing for freedom of expression and free speech um it's really yeah it's really unpopular to do
01:38:44.460 that in the uk in the civil service and in academia and unfortunately these are the institutions which
01:38:50.880 influence policy um so this course that i went on you know it's how do i put it it is deeply
01:38:59.360 concerning because ultimately these are people who are making policy that will eventually potentially
01:39:05.320 be the difference between life and death um so yeah it's vitally important and that's why i hope to
01:39:12.960 shed a light on it and what i experienced that anna i think you're very brave and i i thank you for
01:39:20.000 um your voice and anything we can do to help amplify it um because it's not just happening in america or
01:39:27.000 england this is a this is a threat to all of the western world and the freedom um you know the freedom
01:39:35.180 just to be able to decide your own way uh in life and not have it dictated by people in high office that
01:39:42.700 you know we're all becoming serfs again and uh that needs to stop so anna thank you so much

01:41:26.760 um and it's well planned out uh you look at you just look at our border what's happening on the
01:41:33.700 border as we're going to uh as we showed you on friday on a an episode of glenn tv
01:41:40.080 uh on blaze tv the the maps are uh out and you can see them and find them online from different
01:41:52.400 organizations like the red cross or uh doctors without borders this is an organized effort in south
01:42:00.140 and uh middle and central america to push people into the united states this is not organic this has
01:42:08.340 nothing to do with you know the little guy just struggling to get here that's not what this is
01:42:14.240 about we are being lied to and things are being organized by well the people in davos um and the
01:42:24.540 administrations of all of the western countries that are participating in these things and it is to
01:42:30.560 shut down the western way of life and uh today if you're in iowa you have a big decision to make
01:42:37.780 because you could stay at home because it's really cold and very dangerous to drive you could stay home
01:42:45.000 or you could go in caucus and most people in america don't know what a caucus is it's very different
01:42:51.380 than election night where you just go and vote any time during the day you have to go at night
01:42:56.820 and then you have to you know be in a room full of people that are caucusing for a candidate you might
01:43:03.620 be asked to speak up why you think that candidate is the best and it's a really different uh procedure
01:43:11.820 i think really healthy myself but it's going to get be hard for people to come out but you must
01:43:18.860 come out the country has never needed the the winter soldier more than uh right now so if you can and
01:43:28.960 stay safe please go out and caucus more on that coming up
01:43:48.860 glenn beck you know those nights where you just lay in bed and you toss and turn and you're like
01:44:02.160 is it too much to ask just to get some good sleep please i just i said please if you've ever had one of
01:44:07.960 those nights sleeplessness uh is a real problem you know that uh it's not fun when it's happening and
01:44:14.220 it only whacks you out the next day and then you're and you're you're wrecked for the for two
01:44:19.080 days please now you can get uh sleeping pills from your doctor but i have to tell you i think those
01:44:26.800 things are dangerous uh they are so powerful and and just not good just not good now there's something
01:44:34.260 called relief factor sleep that is all natural just like relief factor uh that you take for pain
01:44:40.560 relief factor sleep is a hundred percent drug free it's natural ingredients you don't feel it in
01:44:46.380 your body at all so if you've ever taken any kind of drug to put you to sleep at night you know the
01:44:51.700 next morning you're a little bit groggy i mean i'm like that with benadryl um it's it's awful uh i've
01:44:58.600 taken this my wife has taken it you don't feel it in your body you just have a good night's sleep and
01:45:03.700 feel refreshed in the morning go to relieffactor.com relieffactor.com or call 800 the number
01:45:09.420 four relief for great sleep
01:45:39.420 welcome to the program i want to go through a couple of things the iowa caucus is happening
01:45:45.940 tonight and what is it that we are facing what is it that we are really fighting for well let me show
01:45:52.080 you this a picture of a poster in san francisco calling on residents to boycott jewish-owned
01:45:59.940 businesses in the city is that reminiscent of anything i just want to throw that out there there has been a
01:46:11.280 society that has issued posters like this before was that a good thing or a bad thing then you have
01:46:22.740 uh let's go cut three the antifa flag at a pro-palestinian rally
01:46:28.040 oh what do they have in common chaos then you also have the white house gates almost being pulled
01:46:39.220 down yesterday uh in another pro-palestinian uh event nobody's saying anything about that quote
01:46:47.960 insurrection and as if we couldn't see the country more different uh here's a democrat
01:46:55.760 talking about the next election cut for so much of what dr king fought for this idea that every single
01:47:03.700 person no matter who they are who they look like where they're from could participate in their
01:47:07.980 democracy that's that's on the line and tomorrow marks the beginning of a critical election where i don't
01:47:14.560 think i'm being hyperbolic by saying this next election is about whether or not we can have
01:47:18.760 elections in this country as we know it wow um i tend to agree with you but i don't think we're talking
01:47:26.860 about the same thing first of all uh no one is talking about i mean he's quoting martin luther king
01:47:34.160 we're the ones who agree with martin luther king the progressive democrat does not agree with martin
01:47:43.760 luther king have you listened lately how do we survive how do we ever come back together with
01:47:52.360 our views the polar opposite of each other it's not like one side believes that there's a coup going on
01:48:01.080 and the other side doesn't both sides think there's a coup going on and we i mean we have pretty good
01:48:08.940 evidence on one side uh but i guess you don't need evidence on the other side maybe they think
01:48:14.540 they have it but i don't see it it's it's it's it's nuts and then 69 percent of the people that say
01:48:24.700 we shouldn't vote for a republican here's what they say about joe biden cut six you have the question of
01:48:31.880 the president's age i mean it's just there and poll after poll not just ours our poll in fact said
01:48:37.680 28 percent just 28 percent think that president biden has the mental sharpness to effectively serve for
01:48:45.500 another term that means 69 darn near 70 percent of the american people say he's not mentally fit for office
01:48:55.300 70 percent but they'll do anything they can to shut down uh donald trump and now we find out the
01:49:05.160 truth on fanny willis she is the georgia da she brought the charges against trump for election
01:49:11.100 interference she went to church which to me sounds an awful lot like uh christian nationalism
01:49:19.360 she went to her church big uh bethel is it is that what it is or bethel uh amc church in atlanta
01:49:27.000 she was talking about how she is being persecuted uh now we find out last week that she's been having
01:49:36.220 an affair that's fine that's her business uh however she's been having an affair and then what
01:49:42.620 then after the affair she hires the guy that she's having the affair with uh and then pays him all
01:49:53.680 kinds of money almost 600 or 700 thousand dollars to uh forward an investigation she can't do that
01:50:02.160 without permission from the board she never got that permission nor did she ask for it here's what
01:50:07.800 she says is really going on listen to this we are at a time in history when you can no longer sit back
01:50:17.280 and just let other folks do you cannot expect black women to be perfect and save the world
01:50:26.440 the lord is completing us we are not perfect we need your prayers we need to be allowed to stumble
01:50:35.680 we need grace with that kind of support we will move mountains and do jesus's will
01:50:43.080 stumbling all the way
01:50:46.040 so his flawed hard-headed and imperfect child has a message for each of you today
01:50:53.180 please find a way to do your extraordinary god-given assignment
01:51:01.760 and make this community and make this community and the world a better place for all of his people
01:51:08.060 yeah see it is never about who you are it is always about the great i am and repeat it
01:51:19.320 see we are all flawed sinners unworthy imperfect damaged uh-huh but we are qualified upon his card
01:51:30.980 you can find common ground with people of all different ideologies if you simply commit
01:51:39.220 yourself to be obedient and steadfast in your efforts and his work if you commit yourself
01:51:48.400 god will turn your hard-headed self into the extraordinary for his kingdom thank you
01:51:56.020 so we got that going for us i think she was clear talking about god as an adulteress who's still not
01:52:03.600 divorced from her husband i think that's that's who my church would have you know give up and lecture
01:52:08.580 me about you know different things um well glenn you know we can't expect uh black women to be
01:52:15.320 perfect and that's all that's what we were doing and we weren't judging her on her individual
01:52:19.780 actions we were coming up with a an idea that we needed black women to all be perfect and give them
01:52:24.940 no grace so she's really hitting a powerful point there which is just so incredible um you know i
01:52:31.920 don't think anyone expected her to be perfect i think maybe the very i mean i don't know what her
01:52:36.360 husband was expecting my guess is not what he got um but i mean it might be one of these situations
01:52:41.360 where you know you expect you know kind of very little out of public figures these days i don't think
01:52:47.240 our expectations were set too high uh maybe don't you know persecute your political enemies uh that
01:52:53.980 might be one thing we might request from from her i think that would be nice and then there's a
01:52:59.500 situation somebody put this on twitter i can't remember who it was but the idea that one of the
01:53:04.020 reasons why these people are are like that are leading the resistance are held to these you know
01:53:09.860 standards they feel are too high is because the media turns them into these superheroes right the second
01:53:15.760 they come out and they're like well you know i think i'm going to charge donald trump with this
01:53:18.800 they get these glowing profiles in every piece of mainstream media where they are set up as the
01:53:26.040 ultimate savior of the universe these people who are doing so much for so many and in reality like
01:53:32.440 they re they they they get excited to be these resistant resistance heroes and then they forget to
01:53:39.040 you know uh like delete their old tweets um and or uh you know uh forget that like once they're under
01:53:47.540 the microscope all of the things they've done that have been problems in their life are going to wind
01:53:52.620 up coming out and that's why you say this all the time if you're going to get into this stuff you
01:53:55.680 better clean your life up before you do it well the but the left doesn't understand that because the
01:54:01.140 left usually doesn't isn't held responsible for for anything and that is what honestly makes
01:54:07.140 the uh the left very intellectually weak they're they're they're not pushed against the wall on
01:54:13.940 their on their thoughts or ideas uh you know you push somebody who is uh progressive on their ideas
01:54:20.600 and say this has never worked in all of human history and it's been tried tried and tried again and it
01:54:27.780 always fails and their response will be well it hasn't been done right well it doesn't work it doesn't
01:54:35.140 work and then they just start shouting things uh about you or at you uh and that's you know one of
01:54:42.140 the real problems of of debate you can't really have a debate with with people that just want to shut you
01:54:48.080 down if they if you disagree with them um we're looking at the uh iowa caucus today and this is the
01:54:55.860 kind of stuff that we are fighting we're fighting uh corruption we're fighting uh ideology we're fighting
01:55:04.620 over spending we're we're fighting for our lives really honestly this is the election that i we won't
01:55:14.240 survive another uh biden term we just won't um and we're being dismantled from the inside out and ask
01:55:22.740 yourself who really is dismantling who's really causing the damage we've put up with so much that has
01:55:31.300 caused so much damage just the erasing of our history teaching our youth that there is a hundred
01:55:39.420 different genders there is no such thing as truth that uh white people are racist and always will be
01:55:47.260 you know our founders were monsters all of this stuff has just taken us apart it must be restored
01:55:55.480 or we are not going to survive now who's best to do that that's up to you tonight in iowa
01:56:02.300 yeah it is and it's an interesting you know one thing i always say about polling and it's important
01:56:09.020 to remember this is that polling does not give you specifics polling gives you generalities and if you
01:56:14.580 think about polling as a as a as a vehicle to get you to the general tone of what's going on it's pretty
01:56:20.360 effective if you obsess about someone having a two-point lead and then when that doesn't happen
01:56:25.180 you say oh well the poll was wrong and flawed you're not you're not getting anything out of this
01:56:30.260 so if you kind of look at polls as generalities you can really get some general themes here and if you
01:56:36.860 look at the polling that has led up to iowa you see trump with a big lead you see hayley and de
01:56:41.100 santis close for second ramaswamy behind that and asa hutchinson is still in the race for whatever
01:56:46.180 reason right around one percent like you know if asa hutchinson wins the iowa caucus tonight glenn
01:56:51.460 i think we can really say there's real problem with the polling yes and the way it's working yes
01:56:56.740 um if you know if ron de santis beats nikki hayley the average poll has him down four points between
01:57:03.120 hayley and de santis right now if hayley loses to de santis and now i would not be at all surprised by
01:57:08.380 that um i would not classify that as a massive polling failure they're two close candidates that are near
01:57:15.400 each other you've got weather you've got turnout there's a bunch of different things that uh that
01:57:20.520 need to be uh factored into that if donald trump wins by five tonight i mean it's a big polling
01:57:27.020 miss right i mean yes if you look at poll after poll after poll donald trump is up by you know give
01:57:32.440 or take around 30 points um you can find some that are a little bit more than that you can find
01:57:37.400 some that are a little bit less the final real clear politics average which is something that people
01:57:42.560 will look at especially historically looking back at how the polling worked in this particular cycle
01:57:47.260 has donald trump at 52.8 percent nikki hayley 19.2 percent de santis at 15.4 the vague ramaswamy 6.8
01:57:57.040 and asa hutchinson at one okay let let me let me i want to hear your prediction for tonight and i'll make
01:58:03.620 my prediction for tonight uh coming up in just a second first let me tell you about lifelock ever since the
01:58:09.500 invention of email cyber criminals have been coming up with new and ingenious ways of using it to
01:58:14.960 separate you from your money and personal information the scams vary from advertisements
01:58:20.480 of bogus contests uh to fake delivery companies asking you to verify your personal information i mean
01:58:26.860 somebody in my family was was apparently called by apple and asked to uh give them their id and
01:58:34.040 it's like the apple doesn't do that uh unfortunately the family member i was speaking about is very
01:58:41.340 trusting and just gave it to them your personal information gets exposed so often making it
01:58:48.220 dangerously easy for cyber criminals to steal your identity protect yourself you can't stop everything
01:58:54.740 from happening but you know somebody that you can have on your side that does a great job
01:58:59.180 and if they miss something they you become a victim of identity theft they have a dedicated
01:59:04.800 u.s based restoration specialist that will work to fix it that's where the rubber meets the road in
01:59:10.460 my book um join now save up to 25 off your first year with the promo code beck at lifelock.com
01:59:17.900 that's lifelock by norton at 1-800-LIFELOCK 1-800-LIFELOCK or lifelock.com make sure you use the promo
01:59:26.520 code beck you'll save 25 life lock dot com 1-800-LIFELOCK this is the glenn beck program
01:59:35.480 welcome to the uh glenn beck program all right so uh let's get the uh predictions out i i uh
02:00:02.360 i'm not as good at political prediction so uh let me go first my my prediction is that trump will
02:00:10.140 be the winner tonight uh then desantis uh and uh nikki haley i think because of the weather her support
02:00:20.520 is is weak um and then ramaswamy who i think is going to do better than um uh then has been polled
02:00:29.320 now this is a caveat i actually believe asa hutchinson will come in first if asa is the only
02:00:39.340 one that could get to the caucus right that you've been saying you've been using that asterisk the
02:00:44.200 entire time we've been talking about this yeah so don't forget that asterisk that is important uh
02:00:49.780 now glenn as a uh as a person who's occasionally wagered on some sporting events um there is a
02:00:56.560 a concept when you look at this and you think to yourself is there a stay away game here like you
02:01:02.340 know there's some games you have a real strong vibe on you're gonna put some money down you believe in
02:01:06.340 it there are some where you're like eh honestly like i can come up with a bet but this is one that
02:01:11.600 i should probably just stay away i don't really have a strong feeling on this game this one falls
02:01:15.500 into that category at some level other than trump winning which i'm pretty sure will occur
02:01:20.060 tonight we'll see but the second to third place battle is interesting i mean in a norm if it was
02:01:26.740 62 degrees out right now you could make a case that even despite the fact that haley has uh weak support
02:01:34.540 and unenthusiastic support she's starting to surge yeah like usually polling momentum in iowa does
02:01:42.220 mean something we've seen that with can lots of different candidates santorum huckabee even ted cruz in
02:01:47.920 2016 where some a rise in the poll late sometimes continues after the polling stops and turns into
02:01:54.160 something i don't know if that applies to haley here and honestly with the weather the way it is
02:01:59.180 i don't think it will apply my guess is if i had to if i had to place this bet i would agree with your
02:02:05.180 order of candidates there i think de santis will probably do a little bit better than his polling
02:02:09.300 um i think haley might do a little bit worse uh brahmaswamy may be a little bit stronger i think he has
02:02:15.760 endeared himself a little bit over the past week or two where he showed up to all these events in
02:02:20.180 the snow and there's something to that but again you look at you look at the end of the story of
02:02:25.580 and donald trump is going to win by probably 20 to 30 points and that's going to be you know if he's
02:02:31.140 not over 50 it'll look like a disappointment which shows his relative strength uh in in the race
02:02:36.140 yeah i i think you know he wins by 15 to 20 points 20 for sure it's fine if he if this is close if it's
02:02:45.780 under 10 that's a different story but i don't see that that happening the glenn beck program
02:02:54.240 you
02:03:03.880 you
