Welcome to the Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment
00:02:22.140
Well, hello America and welcome to the Glenn Beck Program
00:02:27.480
It is Monday, it in Iowa is very, very cold and it's caucus day
00:02:37.880
In the 1960s, 95% of the clothing Americans bought was made right here in America
00:02:43.640
Today, 97% of clothing sold in America is made someplace else
00:02:54.320
And inviting others to do business here in America
00:02:59.660
I met the founder of American Giant a couple of years ago
00:03:03.180
And I had him on because he was, I don't know, speaking the American language
00:03:13.340
I saw an interview with him and seemed to actually care about jobs and people
00:03:16.820
He started American Giant by rescuing a clothing factory
00:03:23.560
They started producing quality American clothing with American grown cotton and American workers
00:03:32.200
And they make a lot more clothing for both men and women
00:03:35.860
When you do business with American Giant, the money stays here
00:03:43.100
American Giant, a symbol of who we are and what our legacy can and should be
00:04:04.220
Well, let's say hello to our very own Stu Bergeer
00:04:15.340
We've got about an eighth of an inch of snow and the city is completely shut down
00:04:19.780
So we are both broadcasting from our homes today
00:04:27.380
Because today is really a day where you really shine
00:04:30.360
Because you follow politics so closely and things like this
00:04:35.600
I want to get a quick idea of what's coming today in Iowa
00:04:41.340
There was a new poll that came out over the weekend
00:04:45.220
But the big one was the Des Moines Register poll
00:04:47.320
Which is kind of seen as the gold standard poll of the state
00:05:22.680
There's a lot of Democratic and Independent supporters
00:05:31.660
Now I know Iowa does not go down that same road
00:05:47.100
With one of the people that drove in this morning
00:05:55.560
And we absolutely don't have any idea how to drive in it
00:06:00.800
People in Iowa are prepared for difficult winter weather
00:06:39.240
You're still dealing with multiple feet of snow on the ground
00:06:42.420
That's a big ask to get somebody out there tonight
00:06:49.200
It's difficult to poll Iowa anyway for this thing
00:07:27.600
She might make up some of the lackluster support
00:07:35.640
Pumping money into a campaign on the other side
00:07:49.860
And you look at the breakdowns of where these people come from
00:07:55.320
You know, about 80% of both DeSantis supporters
00:08:06.640
50% of her voters are either independents or Democrats
00:08:10.640
Now, look, that's something that's going to help her
00:08:15.080
Though, again, I question how passionate a Democratic person
00:08:19.140
Who's going to do what you're just talking about, Glenn
00:08:39.220
If you're depending on independent and Democratic voters
00:08:42.700
Well, I don't know if you have missed this, Stu
00:09:04.420
That have pushed the limits of presidential power
01:02:52.700
Steve thank you so much we'll we'll talk to you
01:03:19.800
Iowa your chance to be heard is today go out and
01:03:41.340

01:04:49.700
welcome to the Glenn Beck program we're really glad that you're here thank you so much
01:05:17.640
there is a story from nbc news by the way we're going to talk to
01:05:24.480
there is a story that came out from nbc this uh this weekend and it is really
01:05:30.780
disturbing um tell me when vivek is on um you have you have him
01:05:36.540
okay um this story is about how the democrats have all of these groups now meeting finding ways to
01:05:48.120
thwart donald trump from being president um and they are saying that he's going to now listen to
01:05:55.400
this carefully if he becomes uh president he will use the military in dictatorial ways
01:06:02.400
so in other words he will purge the military of anybody that voted for biden
01:06:08.500
now that's exactly what biden did with maga supporters remember that they shut the military
01:06:16.480
down because of january 6th and then purged all of the people that were conservatives
01:06:22.160
um then they say that um he will use the court system and he will put his uh detractors
01:06:31.480
in jail well he's done that as well biden has everything they worry about trump doing
01:06:38.520
they've already done except for one thing and that is quoting them he's not beyond assassinating
01:06:47.520
his political enemies that is disturbing that they would say that about donald trump especially
01:06:55.300
when they've done everything else on this list we have uh vivek ramaswamy on uh with us now from
01:07:03.120
iowa uh hey vivek how are you glenn how you doing i'm good uh i have to ask you about the thing from
01:07:12.380
donald trump this weekend he said vivek started his campaign as a great supporter unfortunately now
01:07:18.200
he's disguising his support in the form of deceitful campaign tricks don't get duped by this vote for
01:07:23.800
trump don't waste your vote um how do you how do you feel about that yeah i think he had a kinder post
01:07:30.680
this morning that he put up as well i mean look i think his there's a couple things going on here
01:07:34.700
glenn just to speak a few hard truths one is anybody who's on the ground here in iowa is seeing a very
01:07:39.960
late surge here for me many of the people who were expected to endorse trump very strong america
01:07:46.840
first patriots like steve king who i think was wrongly denigrated by the media he was widely
01:07:52.420
expected to endorse trump he actually came out in strong and full-throated support of me because
01:07:57.580
of a couple of the positions i've taken here in iowa for iowans against eminent domain against the
01:08:03.280
climate change cult and a carbon capture pipeline here in the state so anyway i think there's a lot of
01:08:07.740
momentum here in my direction so i think that that's one big factor i think another factor
01:08:12.240
though is in this whole race glenn i don't care if it's left or right or to our own movement or
01:08:16.760
outward i'm going to speak the hard truth and there's one hard truth that is staring us in the
01:08:22.100
face and it hurts to hear it but it's the truth i have stood against these persecutions against trump
01:08:27.880
more strongly than anybody else i filed an amicus brief with the supreme court last week pushing
01:08:33.540
back against the colorado decision and glenn i'm gonna be really honest with you the reason i
01:08:38.060
filed that amicus brief is i don't i don't have the confidence that trump's team was going to make
01:08:41.600
all of the correct legal arguments that needed to be made because it needs to be the right thing for
01:08:45.820
the country which is why i did it so i push back at every step but we have to be realistic for this
01:08:50.580
country and open our eyes that there's a plot and it's hiding in plain sight they want to narrow this
01:08:56.160
down to a two-horse race between trump and a puppet who they can control as you were just alluding to
01:09:01.660
one way or another eliminate trump from contention and it is disgusting but then they can trot their
01:09:07.120
puppet into the white house and we owe it to this country to make sure that it doesn't happen
01:09:11.640
and so some people would say why are you in this race it's because i have a responsibility to this
01:09:17.100
country to make sure that does not happen we have to open our eyes last time it was a man-made
01:09:21.980
pandemic in a rigged election this time they're going to stop at nothing and i increasingly worry
01:09:27.520
glenn it means nothing and so i'm worried for the future of this country i'm worried for trump i'm worried
01:09:31.540
for this year i think we're skating on thin ice as a country and we cannot fall for the trap that's
01:09:36.900
been laid for us and yes the truth hurts sometimes but the first step to actually solving it is to see
01:09:42.860
the truth and speak it without hiding from it you know the democrats always tip their hand because
01:09:48.420
whatever they accuse the right of they're doing uh yeah and it it disturbs me because this is the first
01:09:56.860
time i've heard from a credible source you know credible in quotation marks like nbc news where
01:10:03.640
they are actually saying that donald trump could assassinate his political enemies um don't put it
01:10:10.880
past him tell you glenn it tells me that they are willing to do that think about it well i you have to
01:10:17.580
skate to where the puck is going people and we're none of us is god well none of us is immortal none of us
01:10:22.640
is beyond i mean you know what i do think we're in the middle of a deeper war in this country and i
01:10:28.240
think it goes even beyond just this realm i think that there's a form of spiritual warfare in this
01:10:32.100
country right now and i think that it is something that we have to open our eyes to as a reality
01:10:36.680
that this system is corrupt and they will stop at nothing and you look at the electoral tactics they
01:10:43.940
were trying to use in the lawsuits and now forget the judicial system just remove him from the ballot
01:10:48.420
because somebody says on a whim in the state of maine that we're removing him they are selling us
01:10:53.320
the rope today that they will use to hang us tomorrow they want this to be a two-horse race
01:10:58.120
they want to eliminate trump and they want to trot a puppet who they can control into the white house
01:11:03.520
and i can't be controlled glenn and so i'm actually going to be the one who's able to
01:11:07.540
make sure that that doesn't happen if i'm able to do my responsibility to this country by being in this
01:11:12.900
race and seeing it through to the very end and so i think that our movement sometimes the truth hurts
01:11:18.320
but we owe it to this country we owe it to our founding fathers our america first movement did
01:11:23.560
not start in 2016 it started in 1776 and so i know some of the hard trump supporters and heck i was one
01:11:32.920
of them right and i am in spirit of what it represents still part of that and support donald trump
01:11:38.620
against these unjust persecutions but we owe it to this country to make sure we don't look back a year
01:11:44.940
from now here's a way to look at this glenn all the people who will say well you're taking votes
01:11:49.020
away from trump and so why are you in this race i want you to fast forward to a year from now
01:11:54.100
and a year from now let's say things play out exactly the way that i've said it they then trot
01:11:58.300
in a puppet into the white house that they can control do you want to look back a year from now
01:12:02.420
and are we going to say oh we were shocked that that happened we didn't see that coming or are we
01:12:06.840
going to say what the heck were we thinking when we fell right into that trap and we have a puppet in
01:12:12.660
the white house rather than an america first patriot so do not fall for that trap that's what
01:12:17.400
i'm saying you're not talking about nicky haley you're talking about a democratic puppet i'm talking
01:12:23.400
about whatever puppet is they can control and i think nicky haley is looking like the next one
01:12:27.420
they're trying for in the republican party glenn and if they fail with that then it's going to be
01:12:31.640
the next puppet who's gavin newsom or whoever else but the system is agnostic the deep state i think
01:12:37.000
is agnostic to whether they are or the d comes after your name it's whether you advance the
01:12:41.020
consistent permanent war agenda and the surveillance state agenda here at home
01:12:44.800
nicky haley has said she wants driver's license tied to every social media account and internet
01:12:50.320
account i don't know if that's coming from jack smith or joe biden or nicky haley but they want
01:12:54.060
donald trump and a puppet who they can control eliminate trump and trot in their puppet that's the
01:12:58.720
game and we cannot fall for it so you just said you're going all the way to the end uh if if you
01:13:06.080
finish uh fourth in the next three let's just say um you won't drop out are you staying in to the end
01:13:15.120
well that's not what's going to happen glenn first of all right i think we're going to shock the world
01:13:19.040
at the iowa caucus tonight and anybody who isn't on the ground here i think has their head in the sand
01:13:23.360
i think people who are here on the ground are seeing a late surge the polls are dead wrong
01:13:28.120
you see the likes of steve holt or steve king some of the strongest constitutional conservatives in the
01:13:32.860
state switching their endorsements some of them others surprise endorsing me at the late cycles
01:13:37.920
in the last 72 hours and so i think we're gonna deliver a major shock tonight but i think there's
01:13:43.380
something deeper going on it's not about trump it's not about me it's about this country glenn yeah and
01:13:48.420
i do think that there is a plan hiding in plain sight and if we have our eyes closed to it shame on
01:13:54.380
us last time it was a man-made pandemic and a rigged election as i said so fool me once shame on you
01:14:00.120
fool me twice shame on me and the plot is hiding in plain sight it's up to us to open our eyes and
01:14:05.760
to see it and we deserve and require an america first patriot in the white house rather than a
01:14:12.140
puppet for the permanent states which is what we're going to get otherwise why should somebody vote over
01:14:18.260
over trump because your support is trump support i mean he asked me last week who he should pick his
01:14:26.020
vice president should he win the um the vote here the the nomination and i said vivek um i said he's
01:14:35.160
he's a lot like you he's a fighter he can make great cases for the american people etc etc and i think he's
01:14:41.740
a young up-and-comer that would make a good president at some point let me let me say a word about that
01:14:46.120
one glenn actually is is you know what i've been i i haven't really given that a lot of thought until
01:14:51.400
a million people asked me that and so i actually have given it some thought and here's the answer
01:14:55.700
to that question is that would need to be a discussion with trump where i would say listen
01:15:01.840
i want you to make sure we're on the same page i don't want to build a new building for the fbi
01:15:05.680
i want to shut it down i don't want to have crony subsidies to carbon capture pipelines i want to end
01:15:13.200
them i want to shut down many of these agencies i actually do think we need accountability in our own
01:15:18.460
republican party that we shouldn't support the likes of ronna mcdaniel sitting in that seat
01:15:22.400
that we should on day one actually pardon every peaceful january 6 protester and see that through
01:15:28.200
admit that there were some mistakes made in the past and we're going to correct for them with the
01:15:31.780
vaccines and make sure that vaccine liabilities for companies that we don't get a special shield
01:15:37.800
from being sued and i'd want to make sure we're on the same page about those things right now i don't
01:15:42.140
know if we are i'm the only one who's taken a lot of those positions but the way i'm looking at it
01:15:46.960
glenn is right now in this race if i have that long list to say that in order to be vice president
01:15:51.020
i'd need an agreement from donald trump that he agrees with me and is committed to seeing each
01:15:55.460
of those things through all the way through yes shutting down the fbi not building a new building
01:15:59.920
or reforming it and if so then you know what i would honestly consider it but right now given that
01:16:05.400
that list is long here's how i'm doing it is at a certain point the list is long enough that you say
01:16:09.860
the best way i can do this is actually about being the next president bleeding from the front and taking
01:16:14.460
donald trump as my advisor to do the right thing for this country which i will do if i'm the president
01:16:19.180
i've only got about 90 seconds what is your plan for the border
01:16:22.340
my plan for the border is use our military to seal it we've got 40 000 troops in places like germany
01:16:29.300
where they don't advance our interest germany isn't paying for its own national self-defense
01:16:32.640
they can move those troops to our own border end federal funding for sanctuary cities and i go further
01:16:39.220
end birthright citizenship for the kids of illegals that ends the incentives to come here for an anchor baby
01:16:44.780
and anybody who's in this country illegally must be returned to their country of origin
01:16:50.420
and the way we do it is use the law the existing laws allow you to leverage local law enforcement to serve
01:16:56.960
the warrants that's a million local law enforcement no president has done it but the existing laws allow for it
01:17:03.020
and so i do think it takes a president glenn and this goes to the question about trump and myself
01:17:07.280
takes a president from the outside who has sharp elbows and can break things and trump brings that
01:17:12.620
and i think i bring that on steroids but i also think it's going to take a president who knows and
01:17:17.420
deeply understands personally the law and the constitution of this country so we're not going
01:17:22.960
to be duped by that same swamp class of advisors and so that's why i'm in this and i'm going to see this
01:17:27.940
through to the very end and i believe i have a duty to this country to see this through and either
01:17:32.420
way it has to be an america first patriot in that white house well good luck uh tonight vivek appreciate
01:17:38.340
it thank you so much for being on god bless thanks a lot glenn thank uh we did invite um all of the
01:17:44.620
other candidates uh vivek at this point is the one that took us up on it uh we would hope to be able
01:17:50.380
to talk to the other candidates if their campaigns are listening now we would love to have them on before
01:17:55.980

an actual representative republic uh the end of the uh article that she wrote last week said that
01:20:48.240
the lecturer said to what extent should joe rogan and douglas murray be suppressed i mean they have
01:20:54.880
millions of followers so if we de-platform them it would cause issues so society needs to find other
01:21:02.060
ways to suppress them now they were talking to these um intelligence groups that are outside of the
01:21:11.800
government so basically giving them instruction you need to find a way to suppress their voices
01:21:17.740
that is incredibly terrifying she's going to be on with us here in uh in just a second
01:21:24.780
also davos starts today um and these are just horrible people i think these are eugenicists uh they are
01:21:35.960
anti-human um and are looking to take over your entire life and they will do it i mean right now the
01:21:46.020
biden administration if they don't have any control over anything how come the biden administration was
01:21:51.420
so worried about the chinese participation in the wef at davos this week why are they so upset about
01:21:59.040
that this is just a collection of nobodies going out and being ski bunnies no no it's not we'll have
01:22:06.540
more on this coming up and this week all this week as davos goes on
01:23:05.680
welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenn beck program
01:23:21.540
welcome to the glenn beck program i have said that i think this is the year that america decides
01:23:31.100
whether we survive or not and that we are truly the western world is one major event away from the
01:23:40.020
loss of freedom of speech the intelligence agencies have as have been pointed out in congressional hearings
01:23:48.320
are silencing voices all around the west partnering with the five eyes and operating cognitive psyops
01:23:58.280
now this is not a theory this has come out in congressional hearings from whistleblowers
01:24:09.760
the military and intelligence operations of the five biggest nations in the west
01:24:17.920

01:25:45.940
so i read an article by anna stanley last week and it was hair raising
01:25:51.960
i sent it to all of my relatives and i said and so it begins
01:25:56.120
she attended a king's college course called issues encountering terrorism
01:26:01.460
it was organized by the center for defense studies designed for civil servants and professionals
01:26:07.460
in counterterrorism staff from the foreign office of the uk ministry of justice ministry of defense
01:26:13.880
home office and it was all a three-day course with lecturers from king's college
01:26:21.080
visiting senior research fellows professors and they included those who held former positions
01:26:28.020
such as permanent secretary of the home office director of gchq defense minister
01:26:34.940
and foreign office director so this is not some fringy thing
01:26:39.240
this is in this is involving some of the greater minds and the known names in england
01:26:46.580
anna is here to tell us what she experienced hi anna
01:26:50.360
hi glenn thank you so much for having me on your show
01:26:53.320
oh you bet uh i i found your article terrifying really terrifying um tell me what you tell me what
01:27:02.600
um well where to start um i mean yeah you introduced it um it was a course for civil servants um so that is
01:27:12.040
um staff uh enacting the will of the uk government um only the lecturers were espousing um views which
01:27:20.200
were very contrary to that um which the government's trying to perpetuate at the moment uh in the realm of
01:27:26.160
counterterrorism um it there was one point where the lecturer actually went against the latest
01:27:32.040
government commissioned review of prevent um and he actually uh derogatively characterized
01:27:37.600
william shorecross who wrote the review as uh of prevent um as saying all counter-terrorist
01:27:42.860
um professionals are woke he is of that ilk he said so wait wait wait wait what is first of all
01:27:48.600
what is prevent can you explain that yeah sorry i should have done so in the uk uh prevent is the
01:27:55.520
uk's counter-terrorism strategy it looks at radicalization in the uk and how to tackle it
01:28:01.380
and it's the policy that all counter-terrorism professionals follow um and there was recently
01:28:07.280
reviewed but it gets reviewed every few years um and it basically obviously gets reviewed for how
01:28:13.700
effective it's being um and there's been a massive movement over the last few years um or an attempt
01:28:20.860
movement i should say rather to uh put uh ideology at the center of counter-terrorism uh this is something
01:28:28.700
shorecross is arguing because basically um previously uh people who committed terrorism they were
01:28:34.460
seen as almost victims it was seen as a safeguarding issue in the uk you know uh they would acknowledge
01:28:41.260
and maybe these people have been victims of crime or um linked to crime or they've been in domestic
01:28:46.940
abuse relationships there was a real lack of um giving them responsibility but also placing ideology
01:28:53.260
as a major motivating factor um and one of the lecturers really went against uh that recommendation of
01:29:01.380
the the shorecross review um as well as yeah many other parts of the course which were so concerning
01:29:08.140
so what i what i got from from you um and other sources is and we can see it happening um is a
01:29:17.320
uh softening of people of of calling out terrorists who might happen to be islamic extremists
01:29:27.580
uh and instead pinning extremism on the regular you know joe on the streets of england and saying
01:29:38.740
that those who believe in england and freedom and everything else that those might be the terrorists
01:29:44.340
i mean i couldn't agree more and in my article i basically referenced that one of the civil servant
01:29:50.780
attendees uh basically professed that her brother had actually been radicalized and fought for
01:29:57.060
the islamic state in syria um which i think is quite a dramatic revelation um later on we were
01:30:04.160
shown a video which was actually a jihadi um from london and he was it was an advertisement to recruit
01:30:11.660
people into syria to fight for jihad and she also recognized him too she went he went to my school
01:30:17.380
um she said um and this uh same uh person um she was also a civil servant we were all given a
01:30:25.920
presentation to do um as part of the course and hers was uh basically undermining prevent and saying
01:30:32.480
that it's inherently racist because it focuses on islamist extremism uh and it makes muslims feel
01:30:37.980
uncomfortable um and you're exactly right uh yeah i mean to be honest i was so shot especially the
01:30:44.980
revelation about the brother i mean i was really looking around the room like what did she just say
01:30:50.580
that and it was bizarre people really just didn't seem to think it was a big deal um but you're so
01:30:57.540
right about this this uh the priorities just being completely skewed um and i don't know sorry the facts
01:31:05.760
do point out that 70 percent of terrorist attacks in the uk are islamist correct is that a solid number
01:31:14.500
yeah exactly i did actually say that to the room um i basically used the comparison of uh people who
01:31:20.720
smoke and said that around 70 percent of lung cancers are caused by smoking um so you would
01:31:26.060
expect it would be really counterproductive not to discuss that just to not cause offense to smoking
01:31:31.520
right so in that same logic it'd be very bizarre not to discuss aslamist extremism just because there
01:31:37.780
are um muslims who would find that uncomfortable right smokers would find cancer
01:31:44.100
uncomfortable if you kept pointing it out too um the um uh the overall
01:31:50.520
um is this is this coming from uh a um political correctness is this coming from an anti-jew
01:32:04.500
is this coming where where where did this start and and what's the purpose behind it do you think
01:32:11.740
it's one of those things that's hard to answer because i think it's it's it's so many things
01:32:18.660
it's not just one thing you know i think ultimately identity politics the kind of worldview that
01:32:24.080
puts power views everything through the lens of power unfortunately um jews often come out uh bottom
01:32:31.200
there well they come out the top in the sense they're viewed at the top of the social hierarchy
01:32:35.320
they're seen as possessing white privilege um and also identity politics breeds the kind of things
01:32:41.580
that says one of the slides read um condemning terrorism is to endorse the power of the strong
01:32:46.820
over the weak and terrorism is not the problem rather the systems they oppose the terrorists
01:32:51.180
these are ideas which people often wrongly but do apply to israel um because they view palestinians
01:32:58.840
as being unequal um in kind of asymmetric warfare um so they're really quite sinister stuff and even
01:33:06.140
though i think people usually aren't overtly explicitly anti-semitic the types of um identity politics that
01:33:13.340
they end up consuming often uh affecting jews and israel too as a consequence um i read a story um
01:33:22.820
about sir lindsey hoyle the speaker of the uk house of commons um and there was a a diary note from
01:33:31.400
his office that said he was going to meet with the palestinian ambassador to britain last week and that
01:33:37.620
as part of a speaker-led diplomacy we will be flying the palestinian flag in honor of the palestinian
01:33:45.440
ambassador but the problem is there is no palestinian ambassador well there's no state being
01:33:51.940
ambassador of right there's no state i mean so what what what is happening
01:33:58.740
i mean but exactly uh it's hard to say i mean you know i'm i know that america and the uk and europe
01:34:08.960
they're all experiencing mass extremism on the street people coming out protesting in the name of
01:34:14.940
uh pro-palestine um but actually they're they're deeply anti-semitic and anti as well but more
01:34:20.700
importantly perhaps for your show they're not just anti-semitic and anti-israel they really are
01:34:25.000
anti-western uh they're anti-american ideals i know you hold dearly um and that is often at the
01:34:32.240
crux of it uh lying underneath i think influencing these people whether they're aware of it or not
01:34:37.480
but i think actually yeah people are aware of it more than people give them credit for
01:34:43.340
so we just had a whistleblower here in the united states testify in front of congress that
01:34:49.120
um we have the american pentagon and our intelligence agencies along with um the british
01:34:58.960
military intelligence uh working together with five eyes to spy on the american people and the western
01:35:08.900
people um to find those that are radical and then suppress them as much as possible uh discredit even
01:35:18.620
use banking as a way to separate them from society and if they have strong voices to shut it down
01:35:26.900
that that i was talking about last week and then i read your story um to where one of the uh one of the
01:35:36.700
lecturers said to what extent should joe rogan and douglas murray be suppressed they have millions
01:35:42.720
of followers to de-platform them de-platform them would cause issues so society needs to find
01:35:49.800
other ways to suppress them what did they mean by that oh look i mean i mean i was so godfax when i
01:35:59.240
heard that um i can i only hope that he was speaking very freely and ad-lib and he by no means
01:36:06.500
intended those words to be as sinister as they sound um i think he was really just revealing the types of
01:36:14.160
um sensorial um views and inclinations that a lot of people have within academia and of course he was
01:36:22.200
talking to a room full of civil servants as well um and you're right there is a trend towards uh
01:36:29.000
suppression of what is deemed as radical voices um i have referenced douglas murray um i'm a massive fan
01:36:35.280
of his and his writing um but yeah he's uh considered far right by this uh lecturer in
01:36:41.400
counterterrorism um and yeah example also nigel farage um i believe his but he was uh his bank account
01:36:49.780
was closed down um because of his um views as well uh which is a deeply disturbing precedent to be set
01:36:57.980
where do the english people stand on this i mean it seems as though as i watch europe and uh even the
01:37:08.040
acts of brexit and what's happening here each country is being told it's just a few of these crazy
01:37:15.820
whatever you know farmers or you know radical farmers or uh radical conservatives here in america
01:37:24.840
whatever it is but it seems to me the same message is coming from the people and that is
01:37:31.220
i i'd like my country back i'd like my rights back i'm tired of the elites telling us exactly what to do
01:37:40.400
because you're screwing it up as elites we we don't want any of this stuff is that the feeling in england
01:37:48.000
um yeah i think it really depends who you talk to i think in england a phrase that gets uh banded
01:37:55.980
around a lot is the the silent majority um and it seems that we do have a kind of silent majority in
01:38:01.840
the uk um who are saying exactly the kind of thing you just said um but in the civil service um very much
01:38:09.240
in academia it's very unpopular to talk about things like uh freedom of speech freedom of expression
01:38:15.900
and talk about examples in society where they're coming under threat it's really considered
01:38:21.100
something that the right in averted commas do um i know you're you're speaking from america and you
01:38:26.560
know people say right wing they're um more casually you really would never hear someone describing
01:38:32.460
themselves as that in the uk you know um the types of things that uh advocates on the right in america
01:38:38.500
are arguing for freedom of expression and free speech um it's really yeah it's really unpopular to do
01:38:44.460
that in the uk in the civil service and in academia and unfortunately these are the institutions which
01:38:50.880
influence policy um so this course that i went on you know it's how do i put it it is deeply
01:38:59.360
concerning because ultimately these are people who are making policy that will eventually potentially
01:39:05.320
be the difference between life and death um so yeah it's vitally important and that's why i hope to
01:39:12.960
shed a light on it and what i experienced that anna i think you're very brave and i i thank you for
01:39:20.000
um your voice and anything we can do to help amplify it um because it's not just happening in america or
01:39:27.000
england this is a this is a threat to all of the western world and the freedom um you know the freedom
01:39:35.180
just to be able to decide your own way uh in life and not have it dictated by people in high office that
01:39:42.700
you know we're all becoming serfs again and uh that needs to stop so anna thank you so much

01:41:26.760
um and it's well planned out uh you look at you just look at our border what's happening on the
01:41:33.700
border as we're going to uh as we showed you on friday on a an episode of glenn tv
01:41:40.080
uh on blaze tv the the maps are uh out and you can see them and find them online from different
01:41:52.400
organizations like the red cross or uh doctors without borders this is an organized effort in south
01:42:00.140
and uh middle and central america to push people into the united states this is not organic this has
01:42:08.340
nothing to do with you know the little guy just struggling to get here that's not what this is
01:42:14.240
about we are being lied to and things are being organized by well the people in davos um and the
01:42:24.540
administrations of all of the western countries that are participating in these things and it is to
01:42:30.560
shut down the western way of life and uh today if you're in iowa you have a big decision to make
01:42:37.780
because you could stay at home because it's really cold and very dangerous to drive you could stay home
01:42:45.000
or you could go in caucus and most people in america don't know what a caucus is it's very different
01:42:51.380
than election night where you just go and vote any time during the day you have to go at night
01:42:56.820
and then you have to you know be in a room full of people that are caucusing for a candidate you might
01:43:03.620
be asked to speak up why you think that candidate is the best and it's a really different uh procedure
01:43:11.820
i think really healthy myself but it's going to get be hard for people to come out but you must
01:43:18.860
come out the country has never needed the the winter soldier more than uh right now so if you can and
01:43:28.960
stay safe please go out and caucus more on that coming up
01:43:48.860
glenn beck you know those nights where you just lay in bed and you toss and turn and you're like
01:44:02.160
is it too much to ask just to get some good sleep please i just i said please if you've ever had one of
01:44:07.960
those nights sleeplessness uh is a real problem you know that uh it's not fun when it's happening and
01:44:14.220
it only whacks you out the next day and then you're and you're you're wrecked for the for two
01:44:19.080
days please now you can get uh sleeping pills from your doctor but i have to tell you i think those
01:44:26.800
things are dangerous uh they are so powerful and and just not good just not good now there's something
01:44:34.260
called relief factor sleep that is all natural just like relief factor uh that you take for pain
01:44:40.560
relief factor sleep is a hundred percent drug free it's natural ingredients you don't feel it in
01:44:46.380
your body at all so if you've ever taken any kind of drug to put you to sleep at night you know the
01:44:51.700
next morning you're a little bit groggy i mean i'm like that with benadryl um it's it's awful uh i've
01:44:58.600
taken this my wife has taken it you don't feel it in your body you just have a good night's sleep and
01:45:03.700
feel refreshed in the morning go to relieffactor.com relieffactor.com or call 800 the number
01:45:39.420
welcome to the program i want to go through a couple of things the iowa caucus is happening
01:45:45.940
tonight and what is it that we are facing what is it that we are really fighting for well let me show
01:45:52.080
you this a picture of a poster in san francisco calling on residents to boycott jewish-owned
01:45:59.940
businesses in the city is that reminiscent of anything i just want to throw that out there there has been a
01:46:11.280
society that has issued posters like this before was that a good thing or a bad thing then you have
01:46:22.740
uh let's go cut three the antifa flag at a pro-palestinian rally
01:46:28.040
oh what do they have in common chaos then you also have the white house gates almost being pulled
01:46:39.220
down yesterday uh in another pro-palestinian uh event nobody's saying anything about that quote
01:46:47.960
insurrection and as if we couldn't see the country more different uh here's a democrat
01:46:55.760
talking about the next election cut for so much of what dr king fought for this idea that every single
01:47:03.700
person no matter who they are who they look like where they're from could participate in their
01:47:07.980
democracy that's that's on the line and tomorrow marks the beginning of a critical election where i don't
01:47:14.560
think i'm being hyperbolic by saying this next election is about whether or not we can have
01:47:18.760
elections in this country as we know it wow um i tend to agree with you but i don't think we're talking
01:47:26.860
about the same thing first of all uh no one is talking about i mean he's quoting martin luther king
01:47:34.160
we're the ones who agree with martin luther king the progressive democrat does not agree with martin
01:47:43.760
luther king have you listened lately how do we survive how do we ever come back together with
01:47:52.360
our views the polar opposite of each other it's not like one side believes that there's a coup going on
01:48:01.080
and the other side doesn't both sides think there's a coup going on and we i mean we have pretty good
01:48:08.940
evidence on one side uh but i guess you don't need evidence on the other side maybe they think
01:48:14.540
they have it but i don't see it it's it's it's it's nuts and then 69 percent of the people that say
01:48:24.700
we shouldn't vote for a republican here's what they say about joe biden cut six you have the question of
01:48:31.880
the president's age i mean it's just there and poll after poll not just ours our poll in fact said
01:48:37.680
28 percent just 28 percent think that president biden has the mental sharpness to effectively serve for
01:48:45.500
another term that means 69 darn near 70 percent of the american people say he's not mentally fit for office
01:48:55.300
70 percent but they'll do anything they can to shut down uh donald trump and now we find out the
01:49:05.160
truth on fanny willis she is the georgia da she brought the charges against trump for election
01:49:11.100
interference she went to church which to me sounds an awful lot like uh christian nationalism
01:49:19.360
she went to her church big uh bethel is it is that what it is or bethel uh amc church in atlanta
01:49:27.000
she was talking about how she is being persecuted uh now we find out last week that she's been having
01:49:36.220
an affair that's fine that's her business uh however she's been having an affair and then what
01:49:42.620
then after the affair she hires the guy that she's having the affair with uh and then pays him all
01:49:53.680
kinds of money almost 600 or 700 thousand dollars to uh forward an investigation she can't do that
01:50:02.160
without permission from the board she never got that permission nor did she ask for it here's what
01:50:07.800
she says is really going on listen to this we are at a time in history when you can no longer sit back
01:50:17.280
and just let other folks do you cannot expect black women to be perfect and save the world
01:50:26.440
the lord is completing us we are not perfect we need your prayers we need to be allowed to stumble
01:50:35.680
we need grace with that kind of support we will move mountains and do jesus's will
01:50:46.040
so his flawed hard-headed and imperfect child has a message for each of you today
01:50:53.180
please find a way to do your extraordinary god-given assignment
01:51:01.760
and make this community and make this community and the world a better place for all of his people
01:51:08.060
yeah see it is never about who you are it is always about the great i am and repeat it
01:51:19.320
see we are all flawed sinners unworthy imperfect damaged uh-huh but we are qualified upon his card
01:51:30.980
you can find common ground with people of all different ideologies if you simply commit
01:51:39.220
yourself to be obedient and steadfast in your efforts and his work if you commit yourself
01:51:48.400
god will turn your hard-headed self into the extraordinary for his kingdom thank you
01:51:56.020
so we got that going for us i think she was clear talking about god as an adulteress who's still not
01:52:03.600
divorced from her husband i think that's that's who my church would have you know give up and lecture
01:52:08.580
me about you know different things um well glenn you know we can't expect uh black women to be
01:52:15.320
perfect and that's all that's what we were doing and we weren't judging her on her individual
01:52:19.780
actions we were coming up with a an idea that we needed black women to all be perfect and give them
01:52:24.940
no grace so she's really hitting a powerful point there which is just so incredible um you know i
01:52:31.920
don't think anyone expected her to be perfect i think maybe the very i mean i don't know what her
01:52:36.360
husband was expecting my guess is not what he got um but i mean it might be one of these situations
01:52:41.360
where you know you expect you know kind of very little out of public figures these days i don't think
01:52:47.240
our expectations were set too high uh maybe don't you know persecute your political enemies uh that
01:52:53.980
might be one thing we might request from from her i think that would be nice and then there's a
01:52:59.500
situation somebody put this on twitter i can't remember who it was but the idea that one of the
01:53:04.020
reasons why these people are are like that are leading the resistance are held to these you know
01:53:09.860
standards they feel are too high is because the media turns them into these superheroes right the second
01:53:15.760
they come out and they're like well you know i think i'm going to charge donald trump with this
01:53:18.800
they get these glowing profiles in every piece of mainstream media where they are set up as the
01:53:26.040
ultimate savior of the universe these people who are doing so much for so many and in reality like
01:53:32.440
they re they they they get excited to be these resistant resistance heroes and then they forget to
01:53:39.040
you know uh like delete their old tweets um and or uh you know uh forget that like once they're under
01:53:47.540
the microscope all of the things they've done that have been problems in their life are going to wind
01:53:52.620
up coming out and that's why you say this all the time if you're going to get into this stuff you
01:53:55.680
better clean your life up before you do it well the but the left doesn't understand that because the
01:54:01.140
left usually doesn't isn't held responsible for for anything and that is what honestly makes
01:54:07.140
the uh the left very intellectually weak they're they're they're not pushed against the wall on
01:54:13.940
their on their thoughts or ideas uh you know you push somebody who is uh progressive on their ideas
01:54:20.600
and say this has never worked in all of human history and it's been tried tried and tried again and it
01:54:27.780
always fails and their response will be well it hasn't been done right well it doesn't work it doesn't
01:54:35.140
work and then they just start shouting things uh about you or at you uh and that's you know one of
01:54:42.140
the real problems of of debate you can't really have a debate with with people that just want to shut you
01:54:48.080
down if they if you disagree with them um we're looking at the uh iowa caucus today and this is the
01:54:55.860
kind of stuff that we are fighting we're fighting uh corruption we're fighting uh ideology we're fighting
01:55:04.620
over spending we're we're fighting for our lives really honestly this is the election that i we won't
01:55:14.240
survive another uh biden term we just won't um and we're being dismantled from the inside out and ask
01:55:22.740
yourself who really is dismantling who's really causing the damage we've put up with so much that has
01:55:31.300
caused so much damage just the erasing of our history teaching our youth that there is a hundred
01:55:39.420
different genders there is no such thing as truth that uh white people are racist and always will be
01:55:47.260
you know our founders were monsters all of this stuff has just taken us apart it must be restored
01:55:55.480
or we are not going to survive now who's best to do that that's up to you tonight in iowa
01:56:02.300
yeah it is and it's an interesting you know one thing i always say about polling and it's important
01:56:09.020
to remember this is that polling does not give you specifics polling gives you generalities and if you
01:56:14.580
think about polling as a as a as a vehicle to get you to the general tone of what's going on it's pretty
01:56:20.360
effective if you obsess about someone having a two-point lead and then when that doesn't happen
01:56:25.180
you say oh well the poll was wrong and flawed you're not you're not getting anything out of this
01:56:30.260
so if you kind of look at polls as generalities you can really get some general themes here and if you
01:56:36.860
look at the polling that has led up to iowa you see trump with a big lead you see hayley and de
01:56:41.100
santis close for second ramaswamy behind that and asa hutchinson is still in the race for whatever
01:56:46.180
reason right around one percent like you know if asa hutchinson wins the iowa caucus tonight glenn
01:56:51.460
i think we can really say there's real problem with the polling yes and the way it's working yes
01:56:56.740
um if you know if ron de santis beats nikki hayley the average poll has him down four points between
01:57:03.120
hayley and de santis right now if hayley loses to de santis and now i would not be at all surprised by
01:57:08.380
that um i would not classify that as a massive polling failure they're two close candidates that are near
01:57:15.400
each other you've got weather you've got turnout there's a bunch of different things that uh that
01:57:20.520
need to be uh factored into that if donald trump wins by five tonight i mean it's a big polling
01:57:27.020
miss right i mean yes if you look at poll after poll after poll donald trump is up by you know give
01:57:32.440
or take around 30 points um you can find some that are a little bit more than that you can find
01:57:37.400
some that are a little bit less the final real clear politics average which is something that people
01:57:42.560
will look at especially historically looking back at how the polling worked in this particular cycle
01:57:47.260
has donald trump at 52.8 percent nikki hayley 19.2 percent de santis at 15.4 the vague ramaswamy 6.8
01:57:57.040
and asa hutchinson at one okay let let me let me i want to hear your prediction for tonight and i'll make
01:58:03.620
my prediction for tonight uh coming up in just a second first let me tell you about lifelock ever since the
01:58:09.500
invention of email cyber criminals have been coming up with new and ingenious ways of using it to
01:58:14.960
separate you from your money and personal information the scams vary from advertisements
01:58:20.480
of bogus contests uh to fake delivery companies asking you to verify your personal information i mean
01:58:26.860
somebody in my family was was apparently called by apple and asked to uh give them their id and
01:58:34.040
it's like the apple doesn't do that uh unfortunately the family member i was speaking about is very
01:58:41.340
trusting and just gave it to them your personal information gets exposed so often making it
01:58:48.220
dangerously easy for cyber criminals to steal your identity protect yourself you can't stop everything
01:58:54.740
from happening but you know somebody that you can have on your side that does a great job
01:58:59.180
and if they miss something they you become a victim of identity theft they have a dedicated
01:59:04.800
u.s based restoration specialist that will work to fix it that's where the rubber meets the road in
01:59:10.460

01:59:26.520
code beck you'll save 25 life lock dot com 1-800-LIFELOCK this is the glenn beck program
01:59:35.480
welcome to the uh glenn beck program all right so uh let's get the uh predictions out i i uh
02:00:02.360
i'm not as good at political prediction so uh let me go first my my prediction is that trump will
02:00:10.140
be the winner tonight uh then desantis uh and uh nikki haley i think because of the weather her support
02:00:20.520
is is weak um and then ramaswamy who i think is going to do better than um uh then has been polled
02:00:29.320
now this is a caveat i actually believe asa hutchinson will come in first if asa is the only
02:00:39.340
one that could get to the caucus right that you've been saying you've been using that asterisk the
02:00:44.200
entire time we've been talking about this yeah so don't forget that asterisk that is important uh
02:00:49.780
now glenn as a uh as a person who's occasionally wagered on some sporting events um there is a
02:00:56.560
a concept when you look at this and you think to yourself is there a stay away game here like you
02:01:02.340
know there's some games you have a real strong vibe on you're gonna put some money down you believe in
02:01:06.340
it there are some where you're like eh honestly like i can come up with a bet but this is one that
02:01:11.600
i should probably just stay away i don't really have a strong feeling on this game this one falls
02:01:15.500
into that category at some level other than trump winning which i'm pretty sure will occur
02:01:20.060
tonight we'll see but the second to third place battle is interesting i mean in a norm if it was
02:01:26.740
62 degrees out right now you could make a case that even despite the fact that haley has uh weak support
02:01:34.540
and unenthusiastic support she's starting to surge yeah like usually polling momentum in iowa does
02:01:42.220
mean something we've seen that with can lots of different candidates santorum huckabee even ted cruz in
02:01:47.920
2016 where some a rise in the poll late sometimes continues after the polling stops and turns into
02:01:54.160
something i don't know if that applies to haley here and honestly with the weather the way it is
02:01:59.180
i don't think it will apply my guess is if i had to if i had to place this bet i would agree with your
02:02:05.180
order of candidates there i think de santis will probably do a little bit better than his polling
02:02:09.300
um i think haley might do a little bit worse uh brahmaswamy may be a little bit stronger i think he has
02:02:15.760
endeared himself a little bit over the past week or two where he showed up to all these events in
02:02:20.180
the snow and there's something to that but again you look at you look at the end of the story of
02:02:25.580
and donald trump is going to win by probably 20 to 30 points and that's going to be you know if he's
02:02:31.140
not over 50 it'll look like a disappointment which shows his relative strength uh in in the race
02:02:36.140
yeah i i think you know he wins by 15 to 20 points 20 for sure it's fine if he if this is close if it's
02:02:45.780
under 10 that's a different story but i don't see that that happening the glenn beck program
