00:00:53.380 Well, the nastiness of the 2020 presidential election is already rearing its ugly head.
00:01:00.340 And I do mean ugly because it got ugly for one person, one presidential hopeful.
00:01:06.220 A good weekend and a bad weekend for the same person.
00:01:09.860 We begin there in one minute.
00:01:11.980 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:01:17.180 First, we want to let you know if you're a new listener to the program or if you if you haven't tuned in for a while, this is something new that we started.
00:01:23.740 We clear out all the commercials we could.
00:01:26.000 We only break twice for one minute each.
00:01:28.540 And it's a live commercial and right back into programming because we want to spend more time with you.
00:01:33.220 Our sponsor, this half hour is simply safe.
00:01:37.440 No one should feel unsafe.
00:01:39.760 And I think we have a problem in this society where people are like that made me feel unsafe.
00:01:45.560 Really? Really?
00:01:46.880 Because gun at my head makes me feel unsafe.
00:01:49.940 Words don't make me feel unsafe.
00:01:52.240 There is a difference between between feeling unsafe.
00:01:55.800 So simply safe takes care of the real.
00:01:59.060 Oh, my gosh, I feel unsafe kind of situations.
00:02:02.140 If you're at your home, you want to make sure that you have the system that will alert you if somebody breaks in during the day when you're all gone or at night when you're all there.
00:02:13.200 Make sure that if that if that window is broken or a door is open, the alarm goes off, a picture is taken and one that's not all blurry.
00:02:22.500 And, you know, you're trying to read it and it's just it's too bad of a picture taken with a 1979 cell phone, which didn't exist.
00:02:30.480 So what you need is high resolution pictures.
00:02:34.100 You need really good updated security.
00:02:37.140 And that's what simply safe does.
00:02:39.460 Simply safe called by the verge.
00:02:41.760 The best home security wire cutter said it's top pick three million customers.
00:02:47.740 Now, all you have to do to save 10 percent plus free shipping on any system order is go to simply safe back dot com.
00:02:55.940 You're going to save 10 percent.
00:02:57.600 You're going to get free shipping, no contracts.
00:03:00.240 The monitoring is fourteen dollars and ninety nine cents a month.
00:03:02.980 It is simply safe back dot com.
00:03:05.160 That's simply safe back dot com.
00:03:07.400 I want to play some audio here of Kamala Harris, where she she said we are better than this.
00:03:24.360 This is her first 2020 rally.
00:03:27.520 Twenty thousand people showed up for her rally.
00:03:30.860 Here's Kamala Harris.
00:03:31.980 We are here at this moment in time because we must answer a fundamental question.
00:03:41.420 Who are we?
00:03:43.240 Who are we as Americans?
00:03:46.940 So let's answer that question to the world and each other right here and right now.
00:03:57.820 America, we are better than this.
00:04:01.360 20,000 people showing up.
00:04:06.380 She is going to be a real contender.
00:04:09.060 I think she is a danger because she is not only is she very, very, very, very left, but she also is is.
00:04:22.100 Is not somebody who looks like I am Spartacus.
00:04:25.000 She seems genuine.
00:04:26.800 Now, games are part of the overall strategy.
00:04:32.760 Willie Brown came out.
00:04:34.240 He was former San Francisco mayor.
00:04:36.100 Willie Brown known for his, you know, outlandish outfits and his extramarital relations.
00:04:41.860 He penned a letter now for the San Francisco Chronicle.
00:04:45.860 And what was the title?
00:04:48.200 Sure.
00:04:49.000 I dated Kamala Harris.
00:04:50.560 So what?
00:04:52.300 Oh, boy.
00:04:53.060 Well, for one, you were married at the time, Willie.
00:04:55.640 But even if we look beyond that, it is clear that Harris would not be where she is today.
00:05:02.080 A presidential hopeful without dating a politically powerful man.
00:05:07.240 Brown wrote.
00:05:08.220 I have been peppered with calls from the national media about my relationship with Kamala Harris, particularly since it became obvious that she was going to run for president.
00:05:16.520 Most of them I have not returned.
00:05:18.120 Yes, we dated.
00:05:19.420 It was more than 20 years ago in a 2003 interview.
00:05:24.160 Harris said of Brown, his career is over.
00:05:27.180 I will be alive and kicking for the next 40 years.
00:05:29.500 I don't owe him a thing, she said in the San Francisco weekly.
00:05:33.580 If there is corruption, it will be prosecuted.
00:05:37.700 So we're now playing a game between these two, I think.
00:05:43.720 Brown thought very highly of Harris.
00:05:46.840 He gave her a brand new BMW.
00:05:48.980 I mean, that doesn't happen all the time.
00:05:50.740 No one's ever given me a BMW.
00:05:52.100 Right.
00:05:52.560 Well, you don't run in these circles, Stu.
00:05:55.160 You know, politicians, they've got money coming out their wazoo.
00:05:58.800 And, you know, when you're a politician, you clearly can buy people BMWs and give them his gifts.
00:06:05.520 Oh, yeah, that's that's what government works all about, Glenn.
00:06:08.280 He said, yes, I may have influenced her career.
00:06:10.980 This is in the letter.
00:06:11.900 I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was an assembly speaker.
00:06:17.200 And I certainly helped her in her first race for district attorney in San Francisco.
00:06:22.900 I also helped in the careers of Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein and a host of other politicians.
00:06:30.160 The difference is that Harris is the only one who, after I helped her, sent word that I would be indicted if I so much as jaywalked while she was D.A.
00:06:40.740 That's politics for you.
00:06:42.920 So as much as as much as people think this is bad, I actually think this is good.
00:06:50.880 I think it's good for this reason.
00:06:55.160 You want your skeletons out of the closet.
00:06:58.460 You want them out really early.
00:07:02.500 And so what did he do?
00:07:04.740 He said, yeah, I had an affair.
00:07:07.480 Now, everybody, if you kept that quiet and you kept trying to push that down, then it's a problem.
00:07:15.100 Here's Kamala Harris staying out of it.
00:07:18.840 She's doing a big 20,000 person event at the same time.
00:07:24.820 An old lover, an old mentor, a guy who was in the power structure above her.
00:07:32.080 Think of think of this.
00:07:33.400 How could she be part of a women's movement when this guy helped her?
00:07:38.140 Well.
00:07:39.560 Hmm.
00:07:40.860 What did he just say?
00:07:42.300 I helped a lot of people, but she was the only one that said if I jaywalk, she'd indict me.
00:07:48.940 So she takes no prisoners, even somebody she was having an affair with, and he was giving her cars.
00:07:56.140 It gets the secret out.
00:07:58.460 It will be a day story, if that.
00:08:01.940 And she looks tough.
00:08:03.820 I think this works well for her.
00:08:06.200 It probably does.
00:08:07.160 I mean, the story, I mean, it was somewhat public at the time that she was having an affair,
00:08:11.440 but it's been long, you know, it's long forgotten history and it's kind of being dredged up.
00:08:15.280 He was 20, he was 60 and she was 30 at the time.
00:08:18.420 One of the interdynamic.
00:08:19.540 Yeah.
00:08:19.900 That's one of the, the Me Too thing is an interesting angle on this that you bring up because we've
00:08:24.500 talked, we talked to a couple people back when the Me Too thing was, was kind of at its peak
00:08:28.620 and women who were saying, you know, yes, it's completely wrong if a man demands sexual favors
00:08:36.260 and tries to, and threatens to ruin her career if she says no.
00:08:42.720 Similarly, if a woman is using her sexuality to gain advantages, which by the way does occasionally
00:08:50.440 occur or not even sexuality, tempting, flirting, you know, dressing in a particular way to try
00:08:58.380 to get an advantage, then that should be something that women are willing to stand up and say,
00:09:03.560 yeah, we should stop doing this as well.
00:09:05.620 You know, there's no evidence per se that this was a Kamala Harris plan to get her career
00:09:10.400 escalated, but it's hard to imagine that she, you know, I mean, as he points out, he helped
00:09:14.520 her and they were dating, right?
00:09:16.900 So there was a, an advantage she received at some level because of a, of a relationship
00:09:22.220 like that.
00:09:23.340 And it's, it's an interesting dynamic to push against this whole Me Too thing.
00:09:27.660 We would, we would say here, right, that the current narrative is if a man is even, even
00:09:33.660 shows mild interest in, in an underling in this sort of way, he should be thrown out of
00:09:38.620 society.
00:09:39.080 And now as one of the people in the relationship is admitting, this basically helped her escalate
00:09:46.680 her career.
00:09:47.720 So how do we look at that?
00:09:49.400 Or should we look back at, should we dissolve that relationship in our minds and give her
00:09:52.400 no advantage for that whatsoever?
00:09:54.440 Or should we admit basically what they're admitting?
00:09:57.620 It's a, it's a tough line for someone who's trying to walk the Me Too and I'm a self-empowered
00:10:03.420 woman of all.
00:10:04.580 Yeah, I'm not sure how you're supposed to walk that line with, if you're that.
00:10:09.560 Here's how I walk that line.
00:10:11.340 I don't care.
00:10:13.460 I don't care.
00:10:14.740 I mean, I care about the adultery just as much as I care about the adultery with this
00:10:18.920 president and any other president.
00:10:20.920 But I don't really care.
00:10:22.820 I don't care that, whoa, what a surprise.
00:10:25.700 Wait, somebody might be giving special favors and BMWs to an underling that he wants to have
00:10:33.580 a relationship with.
00:10:34.880 What a surprise.
00:10:36.360 Yeah, that sucks in politics.
00:10:38.520 What a surprise.
00:10:40.400 What a surprise that a woman might want to have a relationship with somebody who can
00:10:45.540 help her career.
00:10:47.880 What a surprise.
00:10:49.120 What a surprise if neither of those happened and they were actually deeply, madly in love
00:10:54.500 with each other and they were just having sex and it just happened to work out that
00:10:58.800 she was the best person for the jobs that, you know, the city would try to.
00:11:03.380 But it doesn't matter.
00:11:04.940 Right.
00:11:05.100 You, you, however, are not a Democratic primary voter.
00:11:09.240 For example, another part of this is Kamala Harris is a prosecutor.
00:11:13.640 Right.
00:11:14.020 And she was known as you kind of saw with the I'll indict you if you jaywalk type of thing.
00:11:17.760 She was known as being a relatively, at least for California, a tough prosecutor.
00:11:21.200 Put a lot of people, you know, held them accountable for their actions, as they would say.
00:11:25.820 Well, you'll notice that that's not exactly a popular position in the Democratic Party,
00:11:30.780 especially in the primary.
00:11:32.220 I mean, when you put criminals behind bars, they protest.
00:11:35.080 I mean, they're they'll run can campaigns to try to free people who killed FBI agents.
00:11:41.220 Like this is not a crew that's like looking for extra prison time.
00:11:45.000 And this is one of the things she's going to be.
00:11:46.460 It's a challenge for her in the Democratic Party because she's put prisoners behind bars
00:11:51.260 and the Democrats don't tend to like that all that much.
00:11:53.000 However, it's a benefit for her in a general because people who are not won over by her
00:11:57.540 socialism see, oh, at least she's tough on crime.
00:12:00.720 And it's that's one of the arguments for her in the general.
00:12:03.040 And that is the biggest thing.
00:12:05.860 How will she do in the general?
00:12:08.000 I don't think Democrats, Democrats, not the diehards, Democrats won't care.
00:12:15.480 They just want someone to beat Donald Trump.
00:12:18.280 You have to remember that the left views Donald Trump the way the right viewed Hillary Clinton.
00:12:26.000 You can't believe she's still around.
00:12:29.540 You can't believe she's not gotten caught for all those murders that the Clintons did.
00:12:35.380 Right.
00:12:35.680 OK, so every crazy thing you ever heard about Hillary and all the crazy things you heard
00:12:41.120 about Hillary that were true.
00:12:42.640 And false, it's the same thing.
00:12:47.020 So they're motivated.
00:12:48.420 They will pick anyone that they think can win in the general election to stop Trump.
00:12:54.600 And so I don't think they'll care about her being tough on crime because they will know
00:13:01.500 in the general election that will help her.
00:13:05.040 She's I think she is a very dangerous candidate for Donald Trump.
00:13:10.540 And we'll get in more to that here in just a second.
00:13:14.140 And the shutdown, we'll get to that.
00:13:16.440 It's over.
00:13:17.860 So what happened and what should we do?
00:13:20.800 That's coming up in one minute.
00:13:22.420 Stand by.
00:13:24.200 First, let me tell you about X chair X chair.
00:13:26.580 You don't sit in one of those crappy chairs that, you know, you get from the office store.
00:13:31.180 You spend more time in your office chair than you do in bed.
00:13:35.820 Most likely you're spending eight hours sitting, sitting in your X chair or sitting in an office
00:13:41.380 chair.
00:13:41.780 Yeah, it's time to make an investment in that.
00:13:43.860 Right.
00:13:44.020 When you're spending a third of your life in a chair, you better make sure that chair is
00:13:49.260 comfortable.
00:13:49.940 Yeah.
00:13:50.220 And the extra does that.
00:13:51.660 Why not?
00:13:52.260 Why not?
00:13:52.700 Treat yourself to something.
00:13:54.100 And this is not a treat yourself kind of price.
00:13:57.540 X chair now has X chair basic.
00:13:59.220 And so it's a very affordable chair.
00:14:01.540 But the lumbar support is so great.
00:14:04.020 This most comfortable chair you'll sit in.
00:14:06.920 And if you don't, you know, if you if you sit in it and you're like, I don't like this
00:14:12.440 for some reason, I don't know why.
00:14:14.280 It's a 30 day money back guarantee.
00:14:16.260 No questions asked.
00:14:17.200 But this thing has all the bells and whistles.
00:14:19.600 You will love it.
00:14:21.040 They come with headrest.
00:14:22.680 You get a free footrest.
00:14:23.800 If you go to X chair back dot com and use the promo code back, you'll get one hundred
00:14:28.560 dollars off your X chair plus a free footrest just by using promo code back.
00:14:33.660 Go to eight, four, four, four, X chair, eight, four, four, four, X chair or online at X chair
00:14:40.000 back dot com.
00:14:41.620 We pause for 10 seconds.
00:14:42.840 So I think the case for privatization of the federal government can be made right now.
00:15:07.020 Unlike we've ever had the opportunity before, I think people on both sides feel that the
00:15:14.740 shutdown was wrong to make people come in and work without pay.
00:15:20.420 That's just unreasonable.
00:15:22.700 No other no other entity in America could get away with that except for the federal government.
00:15:29.040 The federal government should not be able.
00:15:31.040 They have no rights that the people don't have.
00:15:34.520 So I don't have the right to tell everybody, oh, by the way, you have to come in to work
00:15:40.320 even though I'm not paying you.
00:15:41.720 I don't have that right.
00:15:43.320 Wasn't there an amendment to the Constitution that kind of covered this sort of behavior
00:15:48.240 for no money somewhere?
00:15:50.880 Yeah, 14, maybe somewhere like that.
00:15:53.360 I don't have the right to tell people I'm not paying you right now, but you have to come
00:15:59.440 in to work.
00:16:00.100 The government does not have any right that you don't have yourself.
00:16:06.100 We lend the rights that we have to the government to do things we don't have time for.
00:16:13.240 So negotiate for a budget.
00:16:15.360 We don't have time to do that, to study all the ins and outs.
00:16:18.400 That's why we hire a representative.
00:16:19.680 So they can they have the right to negotiate a budget because we do.
00:16:23.940 They do not have the right to enslave people.
00:16:26.600 And it's wrong.
00:16:27.840 And the way to get around this is privatization.
00:16:30.620 And we're one of the last countries to do this.
00:16:34.760 The rest of the world has gone to private air air traffic controllers.
00:16:39.920 And we are stuck in an old Soviet kind of of situation.
00:16:46.860 And Jason Batrill has been with us and he has been researching specifically Margaret Thatcher's
00:16:55.980 approach because she changed England for the better when she was in.
00:17:01.240 And she privatized a lot of stuff.
00:17:03.060 She had to step in.
00:17:04.520 Right.
00:17:04.680 But, you know, they were still on a system like post-World War II where the country had
00:17:09.240 already nationalized everything.
00:17:10.440 And that was also part of a plan, like socialized health care.
00:17:13.360 All that stuff was, you know, in a sense to gain control over their people.
00:17:16.820 And they nationalized everything.
00:17:18.180 Steel, not only, you know, health care, the rail system, everything was nationalized.
00:17:22.440 But when Margaret Thatcher came in and started privatizing after 1979, listen to some of these numbers.
00:17:28.740 So, after she had gotten done doing everything she had done, 50% of their telecommunications fees dropped.
00:17:37.500 50%.
00:17:38.100 They went down by 50% after privatization.
00:17:40.840 Their industrial, their gas, energy, all that electricity went down 50%.
00:17:46.840 25% of the gas that they were using in residential homes, that went down.
00:17:53.680 Everything started going down.
00:17:55.040 Efficiency started going up.
00:17:56.220 I mean, the results speak for themselves.
00:17:59.080 Since Margaret Thatcher, over 100 countries, minus the United States, have followed in her footsteps.
00:18:05.720 It has accounted for $3.3 trillion in revenue.
00:18:09.940 But for some reason, we continue to let government hold us by this leash.
00:18:14.860 It's absolutely insane.
00:18:15.940 You know, you know this because you look at security all the time.
00:18:18.940 The best airports for security all have one thing in common.
00:18:22.760 All the best airports in America that are the best consistently in security have what in common, Jason?
00:18:30.100 Their own security?
00:18:30.960 Private security?
00:18:31.560 Private security.
00:18:32.440 You don't have to have TSA.
00:18:34.960 Your town can say, we're going to do this ourself.
00:18:37.560 And the ones that the FBI and, you know, our special forces that go out and try to trick the airports, the ones that catch most of the, you know, fake bombs and everything else are all the private security airports, not TSA.
00:18:54.300 You get better product, you get a bigger savings, you're not, when the government shuts down, essential services don't have to go away.
00:19:04.500 You don't, it's unreasonable to ask people like air traffic controllers who already have the most stressful job, I think, in the nation, one of them, to come in and work for free.
00:19:15.960 It's not right.
00:19:16.680 Yeah, the air traffic controllers, I'm glad you brought that up, because this is an absolute embarrassment, what's happened to our air traffic control, because it's under the federal government.
00:19:25.420 Again, this isn't done in places like Canada, places like that, but it's done here.
00:19:29.960 We're going to go through all of this tonight on your TV show, but what's happening to air traffic control is an absolute travesty.
00:19:36.080 Do you know that they're still operating under old technology, like old radar, voice, audio, there's things out there they're not using, like satellite-based navigation, stuff like that, that they're just not using.
00:19:47.560 Why?
00:19:48.120 Because of politics.
00:19:49.500 Because bureaucracy steps in every single time and slows things down.
00:19:53.220 We're telling these guys to operate under those stressful conditions, but we're not giving them the tools to actually do it because of politics.
00:20:00.180 That's insane.
00:20:00.820 Would Google or, actually, would Elon Musk let this happen?
00:20:05.080 No.
00:20:05.260 Would he let his company at SpaceX or Tesla operate under last generation's technology?
00:20:10.580 No.
00:20:10.880 No.
00:20:11.360 Imagine how good it could be today if we unleashed them, but we're not doing it.
00:20:15.360 It's absolutely insane.
00:20:16.300 So, tonight, we're going to take a look at the shutdown and what should actually, what conservatives should be pushing for.
00:20:23.400 In fact, what all Americans should be pushing for, and that is a privatization and, I say, a new law that makes it unlawful to ask anyone to come into work.
00:20:35.260 Without getting paid.
00:20:35.880 Without getting paid.
00:20:36.940 So, in other words, if you are an essential employee, you should get paid to go into work.
00:20:45.260 Now, we just passed that, and there's all kinds of loopholes in that that have taken the teeth out of the next shutdown.
00:20:52.900 And it's the power structure passing things for their own benefit.
00:21:00.020 What really needs to happen is a privatization effort for all of these essential services because there's no reason.
00:21:10.040 The market is much better, especially when it comes to technology, than the federal government is.
00:21:18.600 We're going to go actually line by line and say, especially for President Trump, hope he's listening to this, because we're going to show them every single company he could privatize today and save billions.
00:21:27.400 And actually, we're going to wipe out the entire federal debt.
00:21:30.120 We're going to make the country $128 trillion richer overnight.
00:21:34.400 Guaranteed, if he does this.
00:21:35.460 $128 trillion.
00:21:36.760 Okay, there we go.
00:21:37.600 That's on to tonight's program.
00:21:39.820 So, he's not doing a State of the Union address.
00:21:42.860 Not yet.
00:21:43.760 He will be eventually.
00:21:44.920 Yes, but he's not going to be doing it tomorrow.
00:21:47.200 That's when it was scheduled.
00:21:48.840 What did we get out of this?
00:21:50.680 I want to talk to Stu and to Pat about what did we get out of this?
00:21:58.480 What was accomplished, if anything?
00:22:00.520 Mitch McConnell said, it's a huge loss for the Republicans.
00:22:04.960 Thank you, Mitch.
00:22:05.840 Thank you for that.
00:22:07.800 Did we make any progress?
00:22:11.580 What did we get?
00:22:13.720 How is Donald Trump's real polls?
00:22:18.160 What does this mean for 2020?
00:22:20.720 Next.
00:22:22.240 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
00:22:24.560 All right, there's a couple of things that you have to know if you're in a relationship,
00:22:30.260 and that is Valentine's Day, for some reason, is important.
00:22:35.380 And it's one of those days that you have to have red roses for.
00:22:40.240 Don't screw it up.
00:22:41.360 Don't screw it up.
00:22:42.760 Don't screw it up.
00:22:42.860 Because you'll pay that price for years and years and years.
00:22:46.040 Sounds like a guy with experience.
00:22:47.440 Anyway, here's the best high-quality roses out there and the best price right now.
00:22:55.580 1-800-Flowers.com.
00:22:57.520 1-800-Flowers.com.
00:22:59.840 Ever notice how flowers just keep getting more and more expensive the last few days before Valentine's Day?
00:23:05.340 Right now, you can get 18 red roses for $29.99.
00:23:10.560 Or upgrade to 24 for an extra $10.
00:23:14.480 18 red roses.
00:23:15.660 You're not going to get this next week.
00:23:17.860 18 red roses, $29.99.
00:23:19.680 Or upgrade to 24 for $10 more at 1-800-Flowers.com.
00:23:25.040 All right, the shutdown.
00:23:26.140 What does it mean?
00:23:26.800 What do we get out of it?
00:23:27.660 Was there anything?
00:23:28.780 We'll come back on the other side and let you know.
00:23:32.080 888-727-BEC is the phone number.
00:23:38.600 There is something that I want to invite you to if you have time today.
00:23:42.480 There is a Vietnam War veteran who died in Texas.
00:23:47.760 He is going to be buried at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
00:23:56.120 Where is Killeen, Pat?
00:23:57.320 Do you know?
00:23:58.320 Texas.
00:23:59.100 Thank you.
00:23:59.640 In Texas.
00:24:00.220 All right, good.
00:24:00.840 Well, it's a small state, so you should be able to find it.
00:24:02.840 If you're anywhere near this, he has no relatives, no friends.
00:24:08.620 He died alone.
00:24:10.640 They're afraid this Vietnam veteran is going to be buried and nobody is going to be there.
00:24:15.500 If you're anywhere near Killeen, please go to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
00:24:23.360 He is going to be buried today at 10 a.m., and it would be great to have a lot of people there.
00:24:33.560 I know the Motorcycle Club of Texas this weekend kind of rallied behind it, and they're going to go.
00:24:38.880 Oh, good.
00:24:39.900 I hate to see somebody buried.
00:24:41.940 It's in, not to be facetious, it's in Central Texas.
00:24:45.060 I just don't know exactly, you know, the dimensions from here.
00:24:47.780 Yeah, okay.
00:24:49.280 Now, there's something else.
00:24:50.620 I want to hear from you.
00:24:52.140 You hear from us all the time.
00:24:53.840 I want to hear from you.
00:24:56.280 The president did the brave thing, shut down the federal government, shut it down longer than anyone else in history, tried to negotiate with the Democrats.
00:25:05.800 I think he would have negotiated just about pretty much anything to get that border wall.
00:25:12.540 They wouldn't negotiate.
00:25:14.320 The press obviously does what the press does.
00:25:17.140 The numbers seem to be going down for the president.
00:25:19.760 This seems to be a very bad thing numbers wise.
00:25:22.780 And he caved on Friday.
00:25:27.340 Did he do the right thing?
00:25:29.480 Are you happy with shutting down of the government?
00:25:33.680 And are you happy with the opening of the government?
00:25:36.880 Should one of those things not have happened, either opening it back up and still continue to play that that game or not?
00:25:48.380 What do you think?
00:25:50.380 Was this a win or a loss?
00:25:52.020 And what would you want the president to have done?
00:25:55.400 888-727-BECK.
00:25:57.480 Call us now.
00:25:58.240 I want to take a few phone calls here after we talk to Pat.
00:26:01.580 Pat.
00:26:02.900 Yes.
00:26:03.420 On your plate today.
00:26:04.480 Well, we obviously talked about the president and opening back up the government for three weeks.
00:26:13.200 Here would be this would be kind of a novel idea.
00:26:16.020 What if and I know this is going way out on a limb.
00:26:19.620 What if we had a budget as a nation rather than going without a budget for the last 10 years?
00:26:29.680 What would happen if the United States of America had a budget that lasted all year?
00:26:33.540 And then the next year they did another budget and the last of the whole year.
00:26:36.700 Then we wouldn't be in this shutdown cycle all the time.
00:26:40.360 What if rather than continuing resolutions, they actually fix the problem?
00:26:45.500 Wouldn't that be nice?
00:26:46.040 Has that happened in U.S. history, a budget?
00:26:48.040 It has.
00:26:48.760 Yeah.
00:26:49.000 Really?
00:26:49.320 Yeah.
00:26:49.460 Not for 10 years, but there was a time when we used to do it.
00:26:52.500 Stop during Barack Obama.
00:26:53.820 Oh, it did.
00:26:54.620 Yeah.
00:26:54.820 Stop during Barack Obama.
00:26:55.820 That's obviously Donald Trump's fault.
00:26:57.360 And once you know, once you start something, once you give the permission to the kids in
00:27:03.360 the candy store, OK, this time you can take the candy.
00:27:06.640 They'll always take the candy.
00:27:07.860 You'll never stop them taking the candy.
00:27:09.240 They just keep taking the candy.
00:27:10.700 We're never going to get a budget ever again.
00:27:13.260 Probably not.
00:27:14.020 I mean, that's the way it looks.
00:27:15.220 Yeah.
00:27:15.380 I don't think we will.
00:27:16.140 Nobody's even talking about a budget anymore.
00:27:17.860 No.
00:27:18.140 Nobody even mentions it.
00:27:19.080 Remember, too, Barack Obama had not only the control the Republicans have had the past
00:27:23.360 few years, but also a filibuster proof majority in the Senate for a while.
00:27:27.000 And still, right.
00:27:27.700 That was still an issue.
00:27:28.940 And you know what?
00:27:29.320 He's getting he's getting may I change the subject slightly and then come back.
00:27:34.140 He's getting everybody's talking about the the the shutdown and did he win or lose?
00:27:41.200 And nobody's really talking about something that he he has proposed and I think is the biggest
00:27:48.360 national security story since the Cold War and he's getting hammered as all.
00:27:54.780 Look at him being America first.
00:27:56.280 He is urging countries and companies to not buy any technology from the Chinese for the
00:28:05.820 5G network.
00:28:07.200 And it's the most important thing.
00:28:09.840 If if they have access to the 5G network, if we are on their spine, they have straight access
00:28:18.280 to everything online, everything, every phone call.
00:28:24.360 I mean, you think the NSA is bad.
00:28:26.480 What do you think China is going to be doing with all that?
00:28:28.780 And they're trying to build the spine with their equipment.
00:28:32.980 And America is saying to the West, don't do it.
00:28:35.580 Uh, and I think this is the biggest story out there and nobody's talking about it because
00:28:41.060 we're too busy talking about politics.
00:28:43.220 We're too busy talking about, I mean, is there any reason why the Democrats wouldn't negotiate
00:28:50.320 other than they just don't want to negotiate with him and they're setting up for the next
00:28:55.740 election?
00:28:56.240 No, that's it.
00:28:56.940 Election.
00:28:57.400 They saw it as a political win, right?
00:29:00.400 They saw it as they were in a better position because Trump had already said it was his shutdown.
00:29:04.100 He's going to, it was, you know, it was his responsibility.
00:29:06.320 So they knew they could just sit there and have the networks constantly parrot that until
00:29:12.740 it was over and his numbers were falling.
00:29:15.180 And, you know, it seems like he, you know, there was some, somebody in the white house felt
00:29:18.740 the pressure of that or, you know, some people are saying it was the Senate.
00:29:21.560 I guess you had mentioned McConnell maybe saying that behind the scenes.
00:29:23.640 Uh, and so they, they, uh, they full, I mean, it was a fold, right?
00:29:29.480 I mean, I don't, I didn't get anything out of it.
00:29:31.760 No, they didn't.
00:29:32.580 There was nothing.
00:29:33.060 This was the Democrats proposed offer.
00:29:35.000 We'll open the thing for three weeks.
00:29:36.080 We'll negotiate.
00:29:36.720 The bad thing is he didn't, um, he, not only did we not get anything out of it.
00:29:42.940 Um, he, he didn't even get a message out to the American people.
00:29:49.060 You know, he, if, if he would have done the state of the union tomorrow,
00:29:52.920 and, and made strategic choices and said, I'm going to do it down at the border.
00:29:58.780 And I know they say, well, no, no news network would have covered it.
00:30:02.980 It's history.
00:30:04.660 It's history.
00:30:06.080 It would have been in the news cycle.
00:30:08.280 It's history.
00:30:09.340 If he would have gone in and gone at the invitation of the Senate, it's history.
00:30:15.980 And if the Senate would have invited him, then I think they would have covered it,
00:30:20.840 but it would have gotten out because it would have been such a big deal.
00:30:24.620 And if he would have said, then look, here's the deal.
00:30:28.240 They're shutting everything down there.
00:30:29.840 They don't, they don't want us.
00:30:31.420 They are, they are agents of chaos.
00:30:34.480 And so tomorrow I will open, but I am going to open it up for three weeks.
00:30:38.880 Cause that's what they said they needed to be able to negotiate.
00:30:42.080 So I'm opening up for three weeks.
00:30:43.740 But if this is just another game and they're not offering anything, I'll close it back down.
00:30:48.440 I don't think he will close it back down.
00:30:51.260 I don't think he will.
00:30:52.220 He'll, he'll instead declare national emergency and try to build it.
00:30:55.160 That is worse.
00:30:56.260 And that's worse.
00:30:57.180 Yeah.
00:30:57.960 But what are you going to do?
00:30:59.020 But what are you going to do?
00:31:00.100 Well, they're losing the messaging as Republicans always do.
00:31:03.980 Cause they don't know what to do.
00:31:05.340 And they're, they're continually losing the messaging and they don't know how apparently to talk to the American people.
00:31:11.820 They got nobody who can communicate these things.
00:31:14.760 And so you've got all of these socialists in the Democrat party who are the biggest extremists I've ever seen in American history.
00:31:22.640 Who are calling the Republicans, the extremists, and they're just taking it.
00:31:26.720 I thought of that.
00:31:27.220 How is it possible?
00:31:28.200 I thought of that today.
00:31:29.080 I see, I see Ocasio-Cortez and the way she's being treated.
00:31:34.120 Yeah.
00:31:34.280 And then I thought of Michelle Bachman.
00:31:36.780 She was the most extreme woman.
00:31:39.420 Oh, she was psycho.
00:31:40.560 Ever.
00:31:40.860 They thought.
00:31:41.440 Right.
00:31:41.820 Yeah.
00:31:42.320 And she was nothing, nothing in comparison to, to Ocasio-Cortez.
00:31:48.040 And she was a constitutionalist.
00:31:50.140 But look at how they treated her.
00:31:52.420 Like garbage.
00:31:53.600 And what's even more amazing is that they're getting away with this as we've got the perfect example of what happens to socialist nations unfolding before our very eyes.
00:32:07.900 We have a country, Venezuela, that was the fourth most prosperous nation in the Western Hemisphere behind only us.
00:32:21.900 It was ahead of Australia, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, France.
00:32:28.320 It was ahead of all of Europe.
00:32:30.700 The only nations that were ahead of it in GDP per capita were, okay, a couple of, one nation in Europe, Switzerland.
00:32:40.980 So it was the U.S., Switzerland, New Zealand, then Venezuela.
00:32:44.540 So what happened?
00:32:45.820 Well, in 1999, along came Hugo Chavez, and he promised Venezuelans a socialist paradise.
00:32:54.260 And his motto was Esperanza y cambio, hope and change.
00:33:00.740 And that's exactly what he delivered.
00:33:03.300 He delivered, he crushed all hope, and he brought about change.
00:33:07.280 They went from wealthiest to a failed nation in just a very short time.
00:33:12.220 And as we're watching that unfold, Democrats are getting away with calling being a billionaire immoral and talking about redistributing wealth.
00:33:23.740 Elizabeth Warren is talking about asset forfeiture for wealthy people.
00:33:27.260 I mean, these are Marxists, these are communists, and they're getting away with it.
00:33:34.240 And I don't know if you saw Kamala Harris's, you know, rally, 20,000 people.
00:33:41.120 I think she, I think she has a chance of being the opposite of Trump.
00:33:47.720 And unfortunately, whatever is the opposite of Trump that people think can win on the left, they will run.
00:33:56.060 And so you're going to most likely have somebody much more dangerous to the Constitution than Donald Trump.
00:34:04.980 And then what do we run?
00:34:06.380 If he, if they win, then what do we run?
00:34:09.480 I mean, we're just, we, we, we, we have to stop this cycle and stop and look at our principles and our principles are being, are being flushed down the toilet.
00:34:20.260 And the next one to flush them are going to be the Democrats.
00:34:23.140 And they don't have a lot of democratic principles in Washington as it is.
00:34:27.480 I mean, what are their, what are their principles?
00:34:29.440 I'm okay with killing anyone at any age.
00:34:31.760 Which, yes.
00:34:33.080 I mean, it's terrifying.
00:34:35.420 It is.
00:34:35.880 I'm going to get into at the top of the hour.
00:34:37.760 Stand by.
00:34:38.300 And your phone calls are next.
00:34:39.500 Pat, thank you so much.
00:34:40.540 Thanks.

00:34:54.840 Or back.
00:34:55.840 Did they change that?
00:34:56.820 No, it is probably back.
00:34:57.860 It's always been back.
00:34:58.720 But if it happens to be changed, maybe Glenn will work too.
00:35:01.420 Who knows?
00:35:01.960 Who knows?
00:35:03.120 Who knows?
00:35:03.720 Who knows?
00:35:04.160 Who knows?
00:35:04.440 By the way, on these calls, Glenn, one of the big pieces of coverage this weekend was
00:35:09.340 how conservatives were really mad about this.
00:35:11.960 You know, like Drudge was all over Trump on this move.
00:35:15.380 Ann Coulter, Breitbart, all of these big names that are almost always supportive were critical.
00:35:22.040 And so, I don't know.
00:35:23.020 Is that real?
00:35:23.700 I mean, from normal people, is that the real feeling?
00:35:26.260 Are you, like, really annoyed that Trump kind of folded on this?
00:35:30.080 Sometimes when you have two seven off suit, you should fold, right?
00:35:32.540 I mean, so maybe it's a good fold.
00:35:34.240 But, I mean, is that real with conservatives or is that just something the media is hyping
00:35:38.520 for the few prominent examples?
00:35:40.480 I am, you know, I'm torn on it because I didn't think we were going to make any progress on it.
00:35:45.020 And so, I was kind of hoping against hope that the president would kick in and give a very moving example
00:35:53.660 and use this to his advantage.
00:35:57.360 But I don't think we were going that way.
00:35:59.340 When he canceled the State of the Union, my hopes were kind of dashed that we were going to make anything out of it.
00:36:05.100 But, so, we'll hear from you, 888-727-BECK.
00:36:09.080 I want to talk to you a little bit about FilterBuy.
00:36:11.000 FilterBuy is a way for you to change the filters in your house.
00:36:15.340 And, boy, do they need to be changed.
00:36:17.680 We had somebody come and clean the air ducts in our house just recently.
00:36:21.600 Ah, wow.
00:36:23.840 Okay.
00:36:24.180 Nice and clean?
00:36:24.780 Nice and clean.
00:36:25.480 Oh, yes.
00:36:26.640 Because you're always changing those filters on time.
00:36:28.360 Oh, yes.
00:36:28.740 Since you moved in.
00:36:29.840 Not just since you've been working with FilterBuy.
00:36:32.040 Right, crazy clean.
00:36:33.720 Anyway, FilterBuy, well, make sure you don't do what I've done my whole life and not change the filters.
00:36:39.740 You need to change the filters.
00:36:41.080 It's good for the actual, you know, air handling system.
00:36:44.680 It's a real drag on it.
00:36:46.420 If you don't change the filters, they can't suck enough air through to be able to run the way they're supposed to run.
00:36:53.460 So, it's an extra load on them.
00:36:55.100 So, you're burning that out and you're also wasting time and your own energy by going, oh, am I supposed to change it now?
00:37:03.940 Oh, let me run to Home Depot.
00:37:05.520 Get it sent to you by FilterBuy.com.
00:37:08.100 You sign up for auto delivery where it's just delivered to the door.
00:37:11.020 Every time you're supposed to change a filter, you'll save 5%.
00:37:13.220 It's easy.
00:37:14.900 FilterBuy.com.
00:37:16.300 That's FilterBuy.com.
00:37:18.180 Let me go to the phones and just get a read real quick.
00:37:27.680 I want to take a lot of people as fast as I possibly can just to get a temperature read from the audience on how you feel about the government shutdown and reopening.
00:37:37.960 Is it good?
00:37:38.740 Was it bad?
00:37:40.300 Your thoughts from Jesse in California first.
00:37:43.300 Jesse, go ahead.
00:37:45.460 Yes.
00:37:45.780 What?
00:37:46.220 Yes.
00:37:46.500 Win or a loss?
00:37:49.800 Loss.
00:37:50.600 I wish he would have stayed fast when he started.
00:37:55.500 If the push comes to shove, after another three weeks of the shutdown, if he would have went to a state of emergency, I would have been okay with that.
00:38:03.300 Okay.
00:38:03.620 Let me go to Eric in South Carolina.
00:38:05.680 Eric, what are your thoughts?
00:38:08.520 Overall, I guess a loss on just the whole thing.
00:38:11.860 But I feel like reopening it was a more presidential and more mature act to do when you're facing off with these Democrats who will not negotiate.
00:38:20.620 All right.
00:38:21.060 Mike in California.
00:38:24.480 Go ahead.
00:38:26.760 Hi, Glenn.
00:38:27.360 This is Mike in California.
00:38:28.460 Yes.
00:38:29.660 Yes, sir.
00:38:30.300 Listen, I'm kind of torn.
00:38:32.680 First of all, Trump makes people show their cards.
00:38:37.340 The Democrats, they're Democratic.
00:38:39.560 Jeez, I'm sorry.
00:38:40.540 That's okay.
00:38:42.900 Relax.
00:38:43.320 Are you there?
00:38:44.440 Oh, and he got frustrated.
00:38:47.480 Anthony.
00:38:48.100 He just gave up on talking in there.
00:38:49.580 That was interesting.
00:38:50.160 Or he may have thought he lost us.
00:38:51.420 Anthony, go ahead.
00:38:53.000 Hey, Glenn.
00:38:53.420 Yeah, I think it's a short-term loss.
00:38:54.900 However, Trump's three steps ahead of all these professional politicians, and this is a long game for him.
00:39:00.820 And three weeks from now, I think he's going to offer something different, spin this around, and throw it back in their faces.
00:39:06.080 And I think it becomes a win eventually for him.
00:39:08.360 He's always been for three years ahead of these guys.
00:39:10.940 All right.
00:39:11.320 Greg in Vermont.
00:39:12.380 Yes, I think that Trump actually won big time with this by showing that the Dems won't negotiate, and that they are actually for all the criminals coming in and the drugs coming in on the southern border.
00:39:29.500 Thank you, Greg.
00:39:30.320 I wonder if it's been seen that way because of the mainstream media, however.
00:39:33.920 Jeremy, because I see it that way.
00:39:36.260 Jeremy.
00:39:36.800 Mr. Beck.
00:39:37.360 Yes.
00:39:37.860 Yes, Mr. Beck.
00:39:38.540 Yes, sir.
00:39:39.260 I would have to say it was a loss for everybody.
00:39:41.160 I mean, if you're a mid-range on the fence or if you're a Trump supporter, I mean, I think that, you know, everybody was just deflated by that.
00:39:47.640 You know, you're a worker.
00:39:49.220 You do these things.
00:39:50.220 And, you know, they keep giving this stuff out, and they don't want to do anything to fix it.
00:39:54.120 And I think that all Americans are frustrated.
00:39:55.940 They don't believe that government works, that it's more of just all Hollywood.
00:39:59.900 You know, it's all politics.
00:40:00.820 It's not really real.
00:40:01.820 And Trump, Fulton, I kind of think, just solidified that for a lot of Americans that voted for him or were on the fence if they were, you know, Democrats, vice versa.
00:40:08.420 Yep.
00:40:08.620 Yep.
00:40:09.300 I think you're right, Jeremy.
00:40:10.660 I think we all lost Democrats and Republicans on this.
00:40:14.280 And we lost even more faith in our government that anybody is serious about anything other than the next election.
00:40:23.060 I tell you, Home Title Lock is our sponsor, and we appreciate the support they give to all of the shows here at The Blaze TV, in particular this program.
00:40:32.400 Home Title Lock is something that we have, not because they're sponsors, but because we found out about it.
00:40:38.280 And we're like, holy cow.
00:40:39.960 And all of us signed up independently because one would tell the other.
00:40:43.880 And then we had them on the show, and now they're sponsors, and it's Home Title Lock.
00:40:47.800 And what they do is they protect the title of your home.
00:40:50.600 It's so easy to take a loan out in your name if you don't own your house, and they go out and they take a second mortgage out, and you don't know about it.
00:40:59.680 They get the cash.
00:41:00.520 They leave.
00:41:01.300 Then you're stuck with the bill, and it's a mess.
00:41:04.080 Yeah, you start getting, you know, did not pay alerts on your phone.
00:41:08.720 You start getting, you know, collection notices in your mailbox.
00:41:13.380 And these are loans you didn't even take out.
00:41:15.120 Someone's taking them out on your behalf with your equity.
00:41:17.680 Yeah, you're all of a sudden a squatter in somebody else's house having to pay for something you never took a loan out on.
00:41:24.160 It's really crazy.
00:41:25.760 What you need to do is make sure it hasn't already happened to you, make sure that your parents are taken care of, and go to HomeTitleLock.com.
00:41:34.100 They're the only people at the vault door where all the titles are kept, so they are uniquely set up to do just specifically this.
00:41:40.940 HomeTitleLock.com.
00:41:41.960 That's HomeTitleLock.com.
00:41:43.540 You get $100.
00:41:44.520 Search for free when you sign up.
00:41:47.680 The Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment.
00:41:51.560 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:41:57.920 I have a story that I need your help on today.
00:42:03.920 Today.
00:42:05.380 Because it means that someone will live or die, possibly tonight or tomorrow.
00:42:13.840 We need to move quickly on a story that is, well, it could be you.
00:42:22.640 It could be you.
00:42:24.120 And it's happening in Tucson, Arizona.
00:42:27.040 And I tell you about it in one minute.
00:42:29.820 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:42:35.420 All right.
00:42:35.640 I don't know what the future holds for the economy.
00:42:39.780 I'm hoping things, you know, stay together.
00:42:43.060 But, you know, recessions happen.
00:42:45.340 And we're way overdue for a recession.
00:42:47.700 And things are very, very dicey.
00:42:50.260 There was an expert today I read.
00:42:52.960 I think it was in the Wall Street Journal.
00:42:54.080 He said, we're watching the disintegration of the Eurozone and Europe.
00:42:59.000 Europe is falling apart and coming apart at the seams.
00:43:01.660 The whole world seems to be that way.
00:43:03.500 But there's some new technology on the horizon that really can help us.
00:43:08.180 And one of those things is blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
00:43:11.600 But I believe Warren Buffett is right.
00:43:14.040 You better don't invest in anything that you don't understand.
00:43:18.260 Well, it took me three years and I still don't understand blockchain.
00:43:22.340 And I recommend that I understand it.
00:43:25.960 You understand it.
00:43:26.800 We all understand what cryptocurrency and blockchain means for the future.
00:43:31.220 Because that is the currency of the future.
00:43:33.760 Yeah, it was a good idea to understand the investments your money is in.
00:43:37.000 But this one's really hard.
00:43:38.340 It is hard.
00:43:38.820 You have to actually spend some time understanding it.
00:43:41.020 You have to have somebody who knows it and can teach it effectively.
00:43:44.600 And that teacher is Tika Tiwari.
00:43:46.160 We asked him to put together a smart crypto course for you.
00:43:49.680 And that's the name of it.
00:43:50.780 A smart crypto course.
00:43:52.820 Smartcryptocourse.com is where you'll find it.
00:43:56.160 Smartcryptocourse.com.
00:43:57.460 Or call 877-PBL-BECK.
00:43:59.940 877-PBL-BECK.
00:44:01.440 Anybody who doesn't understand the technology of tomorrow, today,
00:44:06.280 is going to be left behind.
00:44:08.860 Do not be left behind on this.
00:44:12.040 Smartcryptocourse.com.
00:44:13.920 1-877-PBL-BECK.
00:44:25.160 Patricia Adamas
00:44:26.700 has a son, David.
00:44:34.060 He suffered a stroke on New Year's Eve.
00:44:39.660 He was transported to the emergency department.
00:44:45.720 This is a guy who was just wildly alive.
00:44:48.580 He was taken to ICU.
00:44:52.820 And he became comatose.
00:44:56.500 13 days later, they say,
00:45:00.280 he's brain dead, he's unresponsive,
00:45:03.300 and we're going to cut off all of his food and his water
00:45:07.200 and his breathing tube.
00:45:09.120 Uh, I have wrestled with this for a very long time,
00:45:13.260 starting with Terry Schiavo.
00:45:15.420 And, uh, this is wrong to do to people.
00:45:18.900 And we must not go down this road.
00:45:23.660 Patricia Adamas, the mother,
00:45:26.200 is on the phone with us now.
00:45:27.680 She's going in in just a few minutes
00:45:29.840 to meet with the hospital
00:45:31.200 and get an update
00:45:33.180 and plead the case to please
00:45:35.420 don't kill her son.
00:45:37.340 And I so appreciate
00:45:38.920 her being on the phone with us now.
00:45:41.580 Patricia, how are you?
00:45:44.740 I'm really...
00:45:46.260 It's a very difficult time.
00:45:49.040 Um, Patricia, tell us...
00:45:51.280 They...
00:45:52.080 They didn't really consult with you guys,
00:45:55.820 did they?
00:45:57.660 Um, when they started to
00:45:59.200 just cut off his food and water?
00:46:02.400 That's correct.
00:46:03.320 They did not.
00:46:03.960 Tell me what...
00:46:06.160 Tell me what happened
00:46:07.260 um, at that time.
00:46:09.320 And is he responsive at all?
00:46:12.000 Because I understand he...
00:46:13.580 When you're talking to him,
00:46:14.720 when family members talk to him,
00:46:16.640 he is moving.
00:46:19.880 Yeah.
00:46:20.520 So, it was a surprise initially.
00:46:23.140 The first question,
00:46:24.160 it was a surprise.
00:46:25.700 We weren't informed
00:46:26.880 that they were going to stop food.
00:46:29.440 Everything was done,
00:46:31.300 you know,
00:46:31.700 and a discovery of,
00:46:33.540 well, surprise,
00:46:34.660 there's no hydration.
00:46:36.660 There's no, you know,
00:46:37.780 we're not going to continue.
00:46:39.920 So, it was, um,
00:46:42.200 a surprise and shock.
00:46:44.040 Surprise and shock,
00:46:45.000 which was very difficult,
00:46:46.280 let alone to deal with
00:46:47.320 everything that was happening
00:46:48.480 in the hospital.
00:46:50.800 And, I'm sorry, forgive me,
00:46:51.980 what was your second question?
00:46:54.140 Um, that it was a surprise
00:46:56.140 and, and also,
00:46:57.760 is, is he,
00:46:59.360 is he responsive?
00:47:02.100 He is very,
00:47:03.760 very emaciated,
00:47:05.200 hydrated,
00:47:06.120 very weak and frail.
00:47:07.480 His bones are protruding
00:47:08.680 from the skin.
00:47:10.740 So, he's not as responsive.
00:47:13.180 Um, yesterday
00:47:14.380 and today,
00:47:15.740 it's very delayed.
00:47:17.900 But yes,
00:47:18.400 he did respond
00:47:19.300 when we talked.
00:47:20.340 I would tell him,
00:47:21.260 you know,
00:47:21.980 sweetheart,
00:47:22.560 are you hungry?
00:47:23.200 Would you like to come
00:47:23.980 to the table to eat?
00:47:25.420 He'd lift his foot.
00:47:26.960 My mother would walk in
00:47:28.320 and say,
00:47:28.860 hi, sweetheart,
00:47:29.560 it's grandma,
00:47:30.540 you know,
00:47:31.040 and he would immediately
00:47:32.900 lift his,
00:47:33.600 you know,
00:47:33.880 his foot.
00:47:35.200 And he tries so hard.
00:47:37.140 Um,
00:47:37.480 just, uh,
00:47:38.340 Wednesday
00:47:38.800 at eight o'clock,
00:47:41.080 a friend of his
00:47:42.280 went in and said,
00:47:43.580 hey, David,
00:47:44.340 you know,
00:47:44.740 and he just was shaking
00:47:45.900 his foot.
00:47:46.540 It was different
00:47:47.300 than the lifting.
00:47:48.340 It was,
00:47:48.600 he was literally shaking
00:47:49.920 his foot
00:47:50.920 and he lifted it
00:47:51.960 and was shaking it.
00:47:54.000 And, um,
00:47:55.020 that's the last
00:47:56.280 of the,
00:47:57.360 um,
00:47:58.780 you know,
00:47:59.200 that type of energy.
00:48:01.180 Now his responses
00:48:02.080 are very faint,
00:48:03.480 very faint,
00:48:05.220 very concerned
00:48:06.140 because he's
00:48:06.860 severely dehydrated.
00:48:08.600 I've seen the pictures
00:48:09.880 of him
00:48:10.380 just three,
00:48:11.420 four weeks ago
00:48:12.180 and the picture
00:48:13.200 of him today,
00:48:14.100 he's not the same man.
00:48:15.420 It's,
00:48:15.700 it's,
00:48:16.740 um,
00:48:17.360 I mean,
00:48:17.680 he's a,
00:48:18.340 he looks like he is,
00:48:20.640 you know,
00:48:21.020 as he is starving
00:48:21.760 to death.
00:48:22.260 Um,
00:48:23.580 uh,
00:48:23.980 what are you,
00:48:25.200 Patricia,
00:48:25.500 what are you asking
00:48:26.740 the hospital today?
00:48:28.560 And why won't they,
00:48:30.480 why won't they give you
00:48:32.340 even custody of him?
00:48:35.400 Well,
00:48:36.020 I have guardianship
00:48:37.080 in a federal court of law.
00:48:38.480 We're Native American.
00:48:39.440 But what I'm asking today
00:48:41.560 and being very adamant
00:48:43.140 and asking
00:48:43.960 in continuum
00:48:44.820 is for my son
00:48:46.640 to,
00:48:47.240 um,
00:48:48.280 to be provided,
00:48:49.780 uh,
00:48:50.480 intravenous hydrate,
00:48:51.600 intravenous hydration
00:48:52.580 and then at some point
00:48:54.440 nutrition
00:48:55.060 and then the thyroid
00:48:56.800 that is very essential
00:48:58.120 to his,
00:48:59.000 um,
00:48:59.900 stability
00:49:00.560 and,
00:49:01.300 um,
00:49:02.360 recovery,
00:49:03.320 you know,
00:49:03.640 because the idea
00:49:04.920 is the hospital's
00:49:07.220 intent
00:49:07.640 or alleged
00:49:08.720 or stated intent
00:49:09.660 is to help us
00:49:10.540 transfer him
00:49:11.840 to receive
00:49:12.580 continued services
00:49:13.640 which would be
00:49:14.320 New Jersey
00:49:14.900 or some other place
00:49:16.200 that would take him
00:49:17.160 and,
00:49:18.920 but you don't do that
00:49:20.520 intentionally
00:49:21.320 and not provide
00:49:22.800 the vital sustenance
00:49:24.580 to get him there.
00:49:25.620 So it's,
00:49:26.000 it's not,
00:49:27.400 so it's almost
00:49:28.040 a default.
00:49:28.920 It's not,
00:49:29.700 it's not very humane
00:49:31.180 and I,
00:49:31.560 I don't understand it.
00:49:33.340 What else,
00:49:33.960 the other thing
00:49:34.620 I'm asking for
00:49:35.420 is to be properly
00:49:36.380 informed,
00:49:37.500 you know,
00:49:37.740 to be given
00:49:38.280 the dignity
00:49:38.920 and the respect
00:49:39.820 without that,
00:49:42.000 you know,
00:49:42.220 we're going to remove
00:49:42.960 the ventilator
00:49:43.780 at any minute
00:49:44.620 and,
00:49:45.520 you know,
00:49:45.700 things like that.
00:49:46.760 Like,
00:49:46.920 we're going to take,
00:49:47.660 this is the last thing
00:49:48.600 he has sustaining
00:49:49.600 and we're going to take that.
00:49:50.780 You know,
00:49:50.960 it's not,
00:49:51.620 it's not humane
00:49:53.240 to live
00:49:53.940 or to feel
00:49:54.760 that there is
00:49:55.660 the spirit of recovery
00:49:57.020 or any sense
00:49:58.940 of stability
00:49:59.580 for my son
00:50:00.600 or the underlying intent
00:50:03.040 that is not
00:50:04.160 in alignment
00:50:05.120 with the,
00:50:06.160 the alleged care
00:50:09.720 of the hospital.
00:50:11.420 So we're asking
00:50:13.420 that,
00:50:14.400 that immediately
00:50:15.600 the hydration
00:50:17.680 and the nutrition
00:50:18.660 continue
00:50:19.400 that my son
00:50:20.700 be allowed
00:50:21.360 dignity,
00:50:22.100 respect
00:50:22.520 and the care
00:50:23.300 to be sustained
00:50:25.480 until,
00:50:26.240 you know,
00:50:26.900 the,
00:50:27.240 the statements
00:50:28.260 of the hospital
00:50:29.020 to transfer him.
00:50:30.220 to a long-term
00:50:31.340 care facility
00:50:32.260 and to allow me
00:50:33.940 to be informed.
00:50:35.540 This is St. Joseph's
00:50:36.800 Hospital.
00:50:37.420 So this is a
00:50:38.260 Catholic hospital.
00:50:39.140 You would think
00:50:39.920 that life
00:50:41.060 would be paramount
00:50:42.360 to them
00:50:43.060 and he
00:50:44.980 could have been
00:50:46.100 transferred
00:50:46.580 but now
00:50:47.440 he is so weak
00:50:48.460 from starving
00:50:49.740 him to death
00:50:50.540 that
00:50:51.020 the,
00:50:52.780 the idea
00:50:53.400 of transferring
00:50:54.120 him to a place
00:50:55.300 for,
00:50:55.880 you know,
00:50:56.840 longer care
00:50:57.640 is,
00:50:59.140 is probably
00:51:00.600 not an option
00:51:01.520 today.
00:51:02.500 Patricia,
00:51:03.020 I know you
00:51:03.740 need to get
00:51:04.720 to the hospital
00:51:05.800 and,
00:51:06.260 and we're
00:51:07.200 praying for
00:51:07.740 your son
00:51:08.280 and I have
00:51:09.160 Bobby Schindler
00:51:09.940 on the phone.
00:51:10.680 Thank you
00:51:11.240 and,
00:51:11.840 and,
00:51:12.260 and Godspeed
00:51:13.240 and we'll check
00:51:13.880 in again
00:51:14.300 to find out
00:51:14.780 what's happening.
00:51:16.340 We were going
00:51:17.060 to go to
00:51:17.320 Bobby Schindler
00:51:18.040 who is
00:51:19.860 Terry Schiavo's
00:51:20.880 brother
00:51:21.280 and Bobby
00:51:22.780 and I
00:51:23.180 became friends
00:51:24.160 if you're new
00:51:24.960 to the show
00:51:25.540 over his sister.
00:51:27.880 I was on the
00:51:28.300 wrong side of it
00:51:29.140 for a while
00:51:29.780 and then
00:51:31.080 I didn't do
00:51:32.300 the easy thing.
00:51:33.100 I did the hard
00:51:33.620 thing and I
00:51:34.160 actually thought
00:51:34.700 about it,
00:51:35.140 prayed about it,
00:51:35.800 read about it
00:51:36.500 and did soul
00:51:38.340 searching and
00:51:39.240 we do not
00:51:40.600 in human,
00:51:41.860 in human
00:51:42.960 society
00:51:43.660 since when
00:51:45.540 do we
00:51:46.460 consider
00:51:47.280 food
00:51:49.120 an extraordinary
00:51:50.900 measure?
00:51:52.160 We,
00:51:52.800 we feed our
00:51:53.700 babies,
00:51:54.420 we give water
00:51:55.640 to our babies,
00:51:56.580 we give water
00:51:57.280 to our dogs,
00:51:58.020 you go to jail
00:51:58.960 if you don't
00:51:59.880 give water
00:52:00.700 to your dog,
00:52:01.980 you go to jail
00:52:03.040 if you leave
00:52:03.700 your dog
00:52:04.280 in a hot car.
00:52:06.460 What are we
00:52:07.260 doing to people?
00:52:08.400 And this is a
00:52:09.100 bright line
00:52:10.020 that we must
00:52:11.280 all draw
00:52:12.780 and Bobby
00:52:13.780 and I
00:52:13.960 will talk
00:52:14.280 about that
00:52:14.740 in one
00:52:15.260 minute.
00:52:20.300 All right,
00:52:21.140 I want to
00:52:21.720 tell you
00:52:22.080 about
00:52:22.560 realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:52:24.940 The most
00:52:26.100 important part
00:52:27.100 of a sale
00:52:27.820 or a purchase
00:52:28.480 is evaluating
00:52:29.980 the right price
00:52:31.420 for the home.
00:52:32.800 Market value
00:52:33.520 cannot be done
00:52:34.660 by an algorithm.
00:52:36.260 It really
00:52:36.840 takes years
00:52:37.660 of expertise
00:52:38.320 to evaluate
00:52:39.160 your market
00:52:39.700 and every
00:52:40.280 market is
00:52:40.920 different.
00:52:41.360 I mean,
00:52:42.440 here in
00:52:42.860 Texas,
00:52:43.140 there are
00:52:43.700 so many
00:52:44.440 different
00:52:44.940 markets
00:52:45.500 and
00:52:46.460 if you
00:52:47.400 don't
00:52:47.620 have
00:52:47.820 somebody
00:52:48.200 who
00:52:48.600 knows
00:52:49.280 that
00:52:49.740 neighborhood,
00:52:50.360 knows
00:52:50.680 that
00:52:51.160 market,
00:52:52.880 then you're
00:52:54.200 really kind
00:52:54.700 of lost.
00:52:55.500 They have
00:52:56.000 to know
00:52:56.580 the ins
00:52:58.200 and outs
00:52:58.740 and they
00:52:59.300 have to
00:52:59.600 know what
00:53:00.020 your house
00:53:00.620 is really
00:53:01.260 valued at.
00:53:02.140 Otherwise,
00:53:02.560 you're going
00:53:02.740 to sit
00:53:03.120 with it
00:53:03.620 for a
00:53:03.880 very long
00:53:04.300 time or
00:53:05.020 what's
00:53:05.980 going to
00:53:06.140 happen to
00:53:06.520 you is
00:53:06.840 you're
00:53:07.040 going to
00:53:07.480 instead
00:53:08.080 dump it
00:53:09.340 and sold
00:53:09.820 right away
00:53:10.240 and you'll
00:53:10.400 be like,
00:53:10.720 geez,
00:53:10.880 we should
00:53:11.120 have asked
00:53:11.380 more for
00:53:11.820 it.
00:53:13.640 Realestateagentsitrust.com
00:53:14.520 are going to
00:53:14.780 get your house

00:53:17.160 and quickly.
00:53:18.680 They're going
00:53:19.180 to help you
00:53:19.700 buy the
00:53:20.580 right house
00:53:21.320 for the
00:53:21.800 right price
00:53:22.480 and quickly.
00:53:23.480 They're going
00:53:23.960 to make it
00:53:24.420 easy for you
00:53:25.220 because they're
00:53:26.080 just like you.
00:53:27.080 They're all
00:53:27.680 vetted by my
00:53:28.520 team for this
00:53:29.460 show.
00:53:29.840 We're not a
00:53:30.660 real estate
00:53:31.080 company.
00:53:31.540 We're just
00:53:31.820 a connection.
00:53:33.060 We have
00:53:33.540 listeners that
00:53:34.320 want to sell
00:53:35.400 their house
00:53:35.880 and we have
00:53:36.560 great people
00:53:37.520 in this
00:53:38.020 audience that

00:53:39.380 and are
00:53:40.020 the best
00:53:40.640 in the
00:53:40.980 industry.
00:53:42.120 We're just
00:53:43.260 trying to
00:53:43.540 put you
00:53:43.820 two together.
00:53:44.980 It's

00:54:08.660 Bobby Schindler
00:54:13.160 president of
00:54:13.840 Terry Schiavo
00:54:14.480 Life and Hope
00:54:15.400 Network.
00:54:16.540 One of the
00:54:18.020 great American
00:54:19.040 heroes of our
00:54:20.060 time.
00:54:20.540 He and his
00:54:21.200 family and what
00:54:22.500 they have done
00:54:23.180 because of his
00:54:23.940 sister Terry
00:54:24.560 Schiavo.
00:54:25.660 I talked to
00:54:26.920 Bobby yesterday.
00:54:28.380 We exchanged
00:54:28.940 emails.
00:54:29.600 He was on his
00:54:30.180 way to Arizona
00:54:31.020 and I had just
00:54:31.820 heard about it
00:54:32.600 and so we
00:54:34.360 connected and
00:54:35.600 Bobby what do
00:54:37.260 we need to do?
00:54:38.080 How can we
00:54:38.560 help?
00:54:40.500 Well,
00:54:40.960 Glenn,
00:54:41.200 I got to tell
00:54:42.020 you,
00:54:42.320 it seems to me
00:54:43.320 we've become
00:54:43.940 desensitized to
00:54:45.160 what's going on in
00:54:45.980 this hospital.
00:54:47.080 I went to visit
00:54:47.800 David and when I
00:54:49.200 saw him,
00:54:49.820 I saw videos of
00:54:51.020 him on a
00:54:52.580 Facebook post that
00:54:53.660 Patricia had
00:54:55.000 produced and it
00:54:56.440 is gut-wrenching
00:54:58.060 to see this young
00:54:59.280 man who really
00:55:00.840 hasn't given an
00:55:01.320 opportunity to see
00:55:02.120 in fact he is
00:55:02.940 able to recover
00:55:03.800 to see him
00:55:05.580 starving and
00:55:06.160 dehydrating to
00:55:06.860 death like this
00:55:07.540 just brought back
00:55:08.380 terrible memories
00:55:10.280 and also the
00:55:11.020 fact,
00:55:11.480 Glenn,
00:55:12.200 this is happening
00:55:12.920 every single day
00:55:13.800 across countless
00:55:14.660 health care facilities
00:55:15.560 in our country
00:55:16.200 and where is the
00:55:17.540 outrage?
00:55:18.380 Where are people
00:55:19.440 supporting this
00:55:20.740 woman's efforts to
00:55:21.820 try and stop this
00:55:23.040 from happening?
00:55:23.880 I don't understand
00:55:25.080 the mindset
00:55:25.820 or the mentality
00:55:27.980 of why the
00:55:28.680 hospital has not
00:55:29.580 given this young
00:55:30.220 man the opportunity
00:55:31.220 to respond to
00:55:33.360 treatment.
00:55:34.060 What is the rush?
00:55:35.420 I mean,
00:55:35.700 we're fighting for
00:55:36.300 time here,
00:55:37.060 Glenn.
00:55:37.540 We're not doctors.
00:55:38.740 I don't know his
00:55:39.140 long-term prognosis,
00:55:41.540 but to cut off
00:55:42.480 treatment in such a
00:55:43.440 short period of time
00:55:44.560 to me is just
00:55:46.240 terrible.
00:55:48.580 Bobby,
00:55:49.160 he has two
00:55:49.880 young daughters
00:55:53.240 and if you see
00:55:55.960 the pictures of
00:55:56.760 him three weeks
00:55:58.060 ago,
00:55:58.420 he was a
00:56:00.060 vibrant guy.
00:56:03.040 You know,
00:56:03.340 he was,
00:56:04.440 I mean,
00:56:04.700 the pictures I've
00:56:05.400 seen of him,
00:56:06.380 he was alive
00:56:07.240 and fit
00:56:07.960 and then
00:56:10.360 three weeks
00:56:11.100 later,
00:56:11.560 he looks like
00:56:12.760 he's in
00:56:14.080 Ethiopia
00:56:14.680 and one of
00:56:17.460 the starving
00:56:17.960 victims and he
00:56:18.980 is,
00:56:19.500 except it's in
00:56:20.020 an American
00:56:20.600 hospital.
00:56:22.920 What does,
00:56:23.560 go ahead,
00:56:24.640 I'm sorry.
00:56:25.320 No,
00:56:25.420 I just
00:56:27.260 urge people
00:56:27.720 to go to
00:56:28.260 Facebook.
00:56:30.060 You can go to
00:56:30.740 our Life and Hope
00:56:31.420 Network,
00:56:31.900 Terry Shava Life
00:56:32.500 and Hope Network
00:56:32.860 Facebook page
00:56:33.600 and watch the
00:56:34.120 videos that
00:56:35.280 Patricia's making
00:56:36.060 of her son
00:56:37.140 and to see his
00:56:38.140 condition.
00:56:40.260 The brain is
00:56:41.680 very complex,
00:56:42.720 Glenn.
00:56:43.040 We have stories
00:56:43.740 after stories
00:56:44.560 of people that
00:56:45.760 just need time
00:56:46.520 for the brain
00:56:46.980 to recover,
00:56:47.500 but when
00:56:48.440 you cut
00:56:49.080 off his
00:56:49.500 nourishment
00:56:50.000 and his
00:56:50.740 hydration
00:56:51.280 from within
00:56:53.280 days of his
00:56:54.320 initial accident,
00:56:56.120 you're doing
00:56:57.200 exactly what
00:56:57.680 the brain
00:56:57.980 doesn't need.
00:57:00.020 His brain
00:57:00.860 and he's
00:57:02.040 compromised
00:57:02.400 now,
00:57:03.020 so until
00:57:04.120 he gets
00:57:04.400 nutrition
00:57:04.880 and hydration,
00:57:06.200 he's not
00:57:06.500 going to
00:57:06.700 have the
00:57:07.200 opportunity
00:57:07.560 for the
00:57:07.820 brain
00:57:08.060 to try
00:57:08.540 and recover
00:57:10.080 and that's
00:57:10.780 what we're
00:57:11.020 fighting for
00:57:11.500 now.
00:57:12.300 Treat it
00:57:13.020 so he gets
00:57:13.940 the strength
00:57:14.480 so we can
00:57:14.900 in fact try
00:57:15.400 and transform
00:57:15.880 out of that
00:57:16.320 facility.
00:57:16.740 And the
00:57:17.140 fact that
00:57:17.460 it's a
00:57:17.680 Catholic
00:57:17.920 facility
00:57:18.340 doing this
00:57:19.000 is extremely
00:57:20.280 troubling.
00:57:20.920 I don't
00:57:21.140 even know,
00:57:21.700 Glenn,
00:57:21.900 if they
00:57:22.140 tried to
00:57:23.380 wean him
00:57:23.720 off the
00:57:24.060 ventilator
00:57:24.600 to see if
00:57:25.380 he would
00:57:25.580 have the
00:57:26.100 capability
00:57:26.800 of breathing
00:57:27.260 on his
00:57:27.580 own,
00:57:27.880 because of
00:57:28.160 course if
00:57:28.500 he was
00:57:28.700 able to
00:57:29.000 breathe
00:57:29.160 on his
00:57:29.440 own,
00:57:30.560 then they
00:57:31.480 couldn't
00:57:32.800 stop and
00:57:33.500 dehydrate
00:57:33.840 him to
00:57:34.040 death,
00:57:34.260 but I
00:57:34.440 think they're
00:57:34.740 using the
00:57:35.180 ventilator as
00:57:36.580 a reason
00:57:37.880 to stop
00:57:39.340 his food
00:57:39.720 and hydration.
00:57:41.280 Why?
00:57:42.200 Bobby,
00:57:42.680 why would
00:57:43.100 they do
00:57:43.380 that?
00:57:45.440 Well,
00:57:45.840 I think
00:57:47.760 it's
00:57:49.940 difficult to
00:57:50.540 see what's
00:57:50.900 happening here.
00:57:51.420 I think this
00:57:51.780 is a cost
00:57:52.300 issue.
00:57:53.060 If they look
00:57:53.500 at someone
00:57:53.900 like David
00:57:54.960 who's going
00:57:55.360 to need
00:57:55.660 long-term
00:57:56.140 costs,
00:57:57.200 it's a lot
00:57:57.660 more affordable
00:57:58.500 to stop
00:57:59.600 treatment
00:58:00.140 sooner rather
00:58:02.320 than later
00:58:02.780 to save the
00:58:03.460 hospital what
00:58:04.080 could be
00:58:04.420 long-term
00:58:04.860 costs.
00:58:05.320 I don't
00:58:06.140 know what
00:58:06.500 other
00:58:06.740 reason they
00:58:08.040 come to
00:58:08.440 these
00:58:08.620 decisions so
00:58:09.300 quickly.
00:58:10.600 As I keep
00:58:11.440 saying over
00:58:11.900 and over
00:58:12.220 again,
00:58:12.780 Glenn,
00:58:13.580 this boy
00:58:14.300 needs an
00:58:14.660 opportunity
00:58:15.120 to recover.
00:58:16.200 The fact
00:58:16.580 that they
00:58:16.820 cut off
00:58:17.140 nutrition so
00:58:17.900 quickly,
00:58:19.100 I don't
00:58:20.720 understand.
00:58:22.000 Glenn,
00:58:22.560 we deal
00:58:22.940 with so
00:58:23.340 many cases
00:58:23.840 like this
00:58:24.240 today.
00:58:24.500 We've been
00:58:24.740 doing this
00:58:25.080 for 14
00:58:25.600 years.
00:58:26.520 I've lost
00:58:27.080 count of
00:58:27.620 the cases
00:58:28.140 of families
00:58:28.680 at college
00:58:29.160 that are
00:58:29.400 going through
00:58:29.800 the same
00:58:30.360 type of
00:58:31.320 situation.
00:58:31.960 It's
00:58:32.100 heartbreaking.
00:58:32.520 Is it
00:58:34.980 worse since
00:58:36.400 you fought
00:58:36.880 for your
00:58:37.200 sister?
00:58:38.840 Oh,
00:58:39.060 absolutely.
00:58:40.080 There's no
00:58:40.520 doubt with
00:58:41.020 the calls
00:58:41.420 that we're
00:58:41.640 getting,
00:58:42.060 Glenn.
00:58:42.260 Who knows
00:58:42.960 how frequently
00:58:44.520 this is
00:58:44.940 happening
00:58:45.380 across our
00:58:46.980 healthcare
00:58:47.240 system.
00:58:47.620 I'm not
00:58:48.040 trying to
00:58:48.320 paint a
00:58:48.620 picture of
00:58:50.060 our healthcare
00:58:50.520 facilities.
00:58:51.700 We deal
00:58:52.660 with wonderful
00:58:53.060 facilities and
00:58:53.920 doctors and
00:58:54.440 nurses every
00:58:55.240 day.
00:58:56.100 I don't
00:58:56.400 know the
00:58:56.680 ethics of
00:58:57.300 the doctors
00:58:57.780 that are
00:58:58.100 pushing
00:58:58.380 this,
00:58:58.780 Glenn.
00:58:58.900 I think
00:58:59.180 it's more
00:58:59.540 coming from
00:59:00.080 administrators
00:59:00.640 and insurance
00:59:01.380 companies.
00:59:01.880 They do
00:59:02.660 not want
00:59:03.120 to provide
00:59:03.740 the resources
00:59:05.020 needed to
00:59:05.680 help these
00:59:06.140 people when
00:59:06.660 they're faced
00:59:07.540 with these
00:59:07.820 types of
00:59:08.180 traumatic brain
00:59:08.800 injuries and
00:59:09.440 serious brain
00:59:10.000 injuries.
00:59:10.640 When they see
00:59:11.300 the long-term
00:59:11.820 care potential
00:59:12.640 and the fact
00:59:13.720 that they can
00:59:14.120 save a lot
00:59:14.680 of money by
00:59:15.360 stopping care,
00:59:18.620 I think that
00:59:19.380 perhaps is what's
00:59:20.380 driving these
00:59:20.920 administrators to
00:59:22.000 stop treatment
00:59:23.740 much, much
00:59:25.040 too quick.
00:59:25.840 So you have
00:59:26.540 people now,
00:59:27.580 Bobby,
00:59:28.420 across the
00:59:29.000 nation.
00:59:29.900 We're running
00:59:30.420 out of time
00:59:31.060 for this.
00:59:31.880 This guy,
00:59:33.160 he's, I
00:59:33.740 mean, you
00:59:34.980 saw him.
00:59:36.480 He could die
00:59:37.280 tomorrow, could
00:59:38.080 die today, and
00:59:40.100 he needs to
00:59:40.880 have liquid, and
00:59:43.340 he needs to
00:59:44.320 have hydration,
00:59:45.920 and then some
00:59:47.260 nourishment to
00:59:48.440 be able to get
00:59:48.880 his strength
00:59:49.280 back.
00:59:51.000 People who are
00:59:51.820 listening now,
00:59:53.180 what do they
00:59:53.760 do?
00:59:55.240 Well, as I
00:59:56.100 said, I urge
00:59:56.540 them to go to
00:59:56.900 Facebook.
00:59:57.540 I would urge
00:59:58.120 them to contact
00:59:58.800 the Bishop of
00:59:59.620 Diocese, the
01:00:00.580 Diocese of
01:00:01.180 Tucson.
01:00:01.680 This is a
01:00:01.960 Catholic-run
01:00:02.400 hospital.
01:00:03.260 I don't know
01:00:03.780 that it's a
01:00:05.400 diocese hospital.
01:00:06.840 I don't know if
01:00:07.460 it's a hospital
01:00:07.960 operated by the
01:00:08.700 diocese.
01:00:09.160 Nonetheless, I
01:00:10.260 think the
01:00:10.600 bishop would have
01:00:11.140 authority to
01:00:12.360 intervene to at
01:00:13.840 least plead with
01:00:14.700 this hospital to
01:00:15.960 provide this young
01:00:16.720 man care until we
01:00:17.680 find a facility
01:00:19.020 that would be
01:00:19.960 able to transfer
01:00:20.620 him to a
01:00:21.960 facility that
01:00:22.280 would be willing
01:00:22.640 to treat him.
01:00:23.400 It's very
01:00:23.840 difficult to do
01:00:24.500 that, but we're
01:00:24.980 trying, and we're
01:00:25.800 hopeful that we
01:00:26.260 can find one.
01:00:27.300 If there's a
01:00:27.720 facility out
01:00:28.720 there, perhaps
01:00:29.780 that's listening,
01:00:30.440 someone that
01:00:30.780 works for a
01:00:31.200 facility that
01:00:31.620 might be willing
01:00:33.000 to contact
01:00:34.140 Patricia or the
01:00:36.860 hospital to see
01:00:38.200 if, in fact,
01:00:39.000 they would accept
01:00:39.780 him on transfer,
01:00:40.720 that would be
01:00:41.260 very helpful.
01:00:41.780 I don't know
01:00:42.220 if it's a good
01:00:42.660 idea, Glenn, to
01:00:43.940 bombard the
01:00:44.500 hospital with
01:00:45.100 phone calls at
01:00:45.700 this point.
01:00:46.720 I don't know
01:00:47.320 if that would be
01:00:47.780 helpful, but it
01:00:48.740 would be helpful
01:00:49.260 to try and plead
01:00:50.140 with Bishop
01:00:50.780 Weissenberger, I
01:00:52.560 believe his name
01:00:53.160 is, here in
01:00:53.840 Tucson, to
01:00:54.800 intervene.
01:00:56.020 Do you have
01:00:56.280 to know how
01:00:57.660 you'd contact,
01:00:58.520 do you have
01:00:58.720 a number or
01:00:59.160 anything?
01:01:00.380 I don't have
01:01:01.080 it in front of
01:01:01.880 me.
01:01:02.200 Okay, I'll
01:01:02.640 tweet it or
01:01:03.180 Facebook, and
01:01:03.780 I'll get it in
01:01:04.820 a few minutes.
01:01:05.920 Bishop Weissenberger
01:01:06.920 is his name?
01:01:09.540 It's in the
01:01:10.540 Diocese of
01:01:11.120 Tucson.
01:01:12.920 Yeah, and
01:01:13.420 we're asking for
01:01:14.540 time, Glenn.
01:01:15.320 I mean, it's
01:01:16.120 been less than a
01:01:17.100 month that this
01:01:18.200 happened to this
01:01:18.800 young man, and
01:01:19.540 what is the rush
01:01:21.120 to end his life
01:01:22.540 and to starve and
01:01:23.200 dehydrate him to
01:01:23.840 death without
01:01:24.200 giving him the
01:01:24.740 opportunity?
01:01:25.240 We're fighting
01:01:26.060 for time, and
01:01:26.940 I think that is
01:01:27.580 the least that
01:01:28.180 this hospital and
01:01:29.400 these administrators
01:01:29.900 can give this
01:01:30.560 young man,
01:01:31.540 particularly with
01:01:33.840 the mother saying
01:01:34.460 how responsive he
01:01:35.500 was, at least
01:01:36.040 initially.
01:01:36.580 I mean, it's
01:01:36.820 getting harder for
01:01:37.420 him every day
01:01:38.540 because he's
01:01:38.940 being compromised
01:01:39.740 by a lack of
01:01:40.400 food and
01:01:40.700 hydration.
01:01:42.120 Correct.
01:01:42.220 Bobby, I don't
01:01:44.260 know how you do
01:01:44.880 it all the time.
01:01:45.700 I don't know
01:01:45.980 how you just
01:01:46.540 relive your
01:01:47.600 worst part of
01:01:49.120 your life with
01:01:49.680 your sister, but
01:01:51.040 you have dedicated
01:01:51.900 your life to
01:01:52.600 this, and you're
01:01:54.220 a hero.
01:01:54.820 You're a modern
01:01:55.200 day hero, and
01:01:55.980 I'm honored to
01:01:58.520 know you, and
01:01:59.280 just keep us
01:02:00.080 informed and tell
01:02:00.760 us what we can
01:02:01.260 do to help.
01:02:02.740 Thanks, Glenn.
01:02:03.440 Thanks for
01:02:03.840 covering this.
01:02:04.440 God bless you.
01:02:05.040 I really
01:02:05.320 appreciate it.
01:02:06.040 Bobby Schindler
01:02:06.640 from the Terry
01:02:07.920 Schiavo Life
01:02:09.380 and Hope
01:02:10.020 Network.
01:02:11.000 They're really
01:02:11.520 going after life
01:02:12.380 on both ends.
01:02:13.520 They are.
01:02:14.040 You know, the
01:02:14.680 beginning and the
01:02:15.220 end of it.
01:02:15.940 They strapped
01:02:16.720 down a woman
01:02:17.760 in the
01:02:19.420 Netherlands.
01:02:19.740 They have this
01:02:21.140 right to die
01:02:22.000 thing, and
01:02:23.040 they are actually
01:02:24.680 euthanizing.
01:02:25.940 25% of all
01:02:28.080 deaths in the
01:02:28.840 Netherlands last
01:02:29.700 year was from
01:02:31.040 euthanizing.
01:02:32.520 They're putting
01:02:33.480 people down like
01:02:34.500 dogs, and it's
01:02:36.400 because people
01:02:37.320 have lost any
01:02:38.320 sensitivity to
01:02:39.140 it, and it's
01:02:39.620 getting so bad
01:02:40.560 that a couple of
01:02:42.360 months ago, a
01:02:43.180 woman in the
01:02:44.580 Netherlands was
01:02:45.300 held down by
01:02:46.460 the doctors because
01:02:47.940 she said, hey,
01:02:48.620 when I get to
01:02:49.220 this point, if I
01:02:49.980 ever get to this
01:02:50.580 point, please just
01:02:51.720 end my life.
01:02:52.660 She signed off on
01:02:53.900 it.
01:02:54.140 Well, she got to
01:02:54.800 that point, and
01:02:55.620 she said, no, no,
01:02:56.700 no, no, no, no,
01:02:57.380 no, I don't know.
01:02:58.280 I'm fine.
01:02:59.660 They actually had
01:03:00.820 to hold her down,
01:03:01.980 strap her down as
01:03:03.240 she was crying out,
01:03:04.580 I want to live.
01:03:06.400 As they euthanized
01:03:09.240 her, as they
01:03:10.200 killed her, we
01:03:12.100 can't allow these
01:03:13.260 things to happen in
01:03:14.860 our country.
01:03:15.560 We cannot go dead
01:03:16.780 inside.
01:03:18.020 Please, please take
01:03:19.700 action.
01:03:22.040 You're listening to
01:03:23.420 Glenn Beck.
01:03:25.900 Well, have you heard
01:03:26.860 the polar vortex is
01:03:28.160 headed?
01:03:29.560 Millions of Americans
01:03:30.800 are going to be
01:03:31.700 colder than they've
01:03:32.420 ever been in their
01:03:33.980 lifetime.
01:03:34.600 I think in the last
01:03:35.440 30 years is the
01:03:36.320 coldest it's it's
01:03:37.660 been in in portions
01:03:39.260 of America in 30
01:03:40.880 years, 60 below
01:03:42.120 zero.
01:03:42.960 Oh, my.
01:03:43.820 Where?
01:03:45.260 60 below zero.
01:03:46.520 Middle.
01:03:46.920 Yeah.
01:03:47.060 In the middle of the
01:03:47.680 country, upper
01:03:48.260 north middle.
01:03:49.860 The liberals are
01:03:50.860 right.
01:03:51.080 We only need the
01:03:51.560 coasts.
01:03:52.300 That's exactly right.
01:03:53.520 So anyway, have you
01:03:55.860 gone shopping yet?
01:03:56.720 Have you filled your
01:03:57.360 refrigerator, your
01:03:58.100 pantry?
01:03:58.920 Have you wrapped your
01:03:59.880 exterior pipes?
01:04:01.460 Have you filled your
01:04:02.320 car?
01:04:02.720 Do you have
01:04:04.080 candles?
01:04:04.800 Do you have
01:04:05.080 batteries?
01:04:05.880 Power outages?
01:04:06.840 It's that cold.
01:04:08.440 What you need to do

01:04:35.860 So a lot has changed
01:04:37.340 in America and yet
01:04:38.780 things remain very
01:04:40.820 much the same.
01:04:42.060 We are in a battle
01:04:44.340 of the Titans.
01:04:46.560 We really are.
01:04:48.020 And the Titans are the
01:04:50.080 two parties and the
01:04:51.860 media and how and I
01:04:54.720 would include technology
01:04:55.840 now the technology media
01:04:57.080 companies.
01:04:57.600 they are however this
01:04:59.640 is is one whatever
01:05:02.880 whoever is on top when
01:05:04.480 the dust settles.
01:05:05.840 That's the new world.
01:05:07.800 And there is there is
01:05:09.740 no one now that you
01:05:11.700 can go to for help.
01:05:13.980 It seems.
01:05:15.560 Who do you cry out for
01:05:16.940 help when the government
01:05:17.600 has gone crazy?
01:05:18.460 If you're on the right,
01:05:22.940 not the media,
01:05:24.540 who do you go to cry
01:05:26.600 out for help when
01:05:28.040 your son or daughter
01:05:31.480 is in a hospital and
01:05:33.520 they're starving them to
01:05:34.500 death because they had
01:05:35.920 a brain injury and
01:05:38.760 they're declared dead
01:05:39.620 even though they're
01:05:40.220 responding to you.
01:05:41.200 They're declared brain
01:05:42.020 dead.
01:05:42.360 And they don't just
01:05:44.680 take out the
01:05:45.260 ventilator.
01:05:46.220 They leave the
01:05:46.700 ventilator in and then
01:05:47.800 starve and dehydrate
01:05:50.420 your loved one.
01:05:51.240 Who do you go to?
01:05:53.840 Will you go to more
01:05:56.820 and more diminishing
01:05:57.760 voices that will take a
01:05:59.900 stand, but because of
01:06:02.240 the media and because of
01:06:03.900 the politicians and
01:06:05.100 because of tech, those
01:06:07.000 those voices are being
01:06:08.880 diminished and they're
01:06:10.040 being walled up.
01:06:10.940 We are at a point of
01:06:14.620 choosing and we need
01:06:18.740 your help.
01:06:21.080 We need to get
01:06:22.940 together.
01:06:24.360 We need to be able to
01:06:26.440 have a common purpose
01:06:28.720 and that purpose is not
01:06:30.840 to elect the next
01:06:31.660 president is not to
01:06:33.720 defeat another party,
01:06:35.200 but it's to to save
01:06:39.060 the Republic and the
01:06:41.820 Constitution.
01:06:43.740 We must save the
01:06:45.680 rights of mankind and
01:06:48.660 with places like New
01:06:50.300 York, celebrating,
01:06:52.740 celebrating the fact
01:06:54.360 that the unborn do not
01:06:57.820 count as people up
01:07:00.600 until the point their
01:07:01.560 legs and their shoulders
01:07:03.380 can be out of the
01:07:04.360 mother.
01:07:04.540 But as long as the
01:07:05.860 head remains in the
01:07:07.780 birth canal, that is
01:07:09.180 not a baby and you
01:07:10.640 can kill it.
01:07:11.840 They're celebrating
01:07:12.980 this.
01:07:15.840 And what are we
01:07:16.720 doing?
01:07:17.560 Last week, we told
01:07:19.020 you about these
01:07:21.140 Catholic kids that
01:07:22.820 had gone and stood
01:07:23.580 for life.
01:07:25.120 About six of them
01:07:26.320 were wearing a
01:07:27.180 Make America Great
01:07:28.060 Again hat and a
01:07:29.400 Native American came
01:07:30.620 and hassled them.
01:07:31.520 But now that is not
01:07:32.820 the way the story
01:07:34.200 unfolded in the media
01:07:35.540 and I'm not going to
01:07:36.320 rehash it.
01:07:37.460 But what the media was
01:07:38.460 saying is these kids
01:07:39.480 don't even understand
01:07:40.500 justice, mercy.
01:07:43.460 But it's not justice.
01:07:45.440 It's social justice.
01:07:47.640 And the difference
01:07:48.480 between justice and
01:07:49.580 social justice is it
01:07:51.220 is a religion and
01:07:53.440 there is original sin.
01:07:55.520 And the way social
01:07:56.620 justice is interpreted
01:07:57.680 in America and the
01:07:59.280 West, the sinner,
01:08:01.520 is the white man.
01:08:03.860 And so you will pay
01:08:05.680 for the sins of
01:08:07.540 those who came before
01:08:08.300 you.
01:08:08.620 Original sin.
01:08:10.480 Well, I'm sorry.
01:08:12.360 But if there is such
01:08:13.260 a thing as original
01:08:14.260 sin, which I don't
01:08:15.060 believe in, if there
01:08:15.900 is, only God can
01:08:18.180 sort that one out.
01:08:20.180 But that's what the
01:08:21.460 media and social
01:08:22.620 justice warriors think
01:08:24.260 they're doing is
01:08:25.540 providing justice.
01:08:26.640 Now, let me show you
01:08:27.220 the justice that they
01:08:28.240 are that they are
01:08:29.580 doing.
01:08:29.820 They think that
01:08:30.860 this man, Nathan
01:08:32.840 Phillips, last
01:08:34.160 week, a Native
01:08:34.980 American, was
01:08:36.340 sneered at by a
01:08:38.560 white kid who is
01:08:40.400 privileged and so
01:08:42.360 he can't possibly
01:08:43.340 understand the
01:08:44.400 plight of a Native
01:08:46.440 American.
01:08:48.760 They last week
01:08:50.360 delivered social
01:08:51.740 justice.
01:08:52.400 But for those of us
01:08:55.180 who care about
01:08:56.280 justice, let me
01:08:57.600 take this apart.
01:08:59.200 Today, a Native
01:09:01.000 American is in a
01:09:03.220 white man's
01:09:04.100 hospital.
01:09:05.740 In fact, a
01:09:06.920 Catholic hospital.
01:09:09.400 And he's being
01:09:10.480 denied food and
01:09:11.820 water.
01:09:13.000 Cruel and unusual
01:09:14.140 punishment.
01:09:16.220 He's being denied
01:09:17.460 food and water.
01:09:18.760 And the press is
01:09:21.860 silent.
01:09:23.140 The press will say
01:09:24.260 nothing.
01:09:25.420 The press will not
01:09:26.980 pick him up as a
01:09:28.380 cause.
01:09:29.760 Well, social
01:09:30.680 justice would demand
01:09:31.920 if I'm using
01:09:32.700 Saul Alinsky's
01:09:33.600 tactics of we've
01:09:35.260 got to hold the
01:09:36.140 other side to
01:09:37.300 their own rules
01:09:38.420 because they will
01:09:39.380 never live up to
01:09:40.480 them.
01:09:40.840 I'd like to point
01:09:41.960 out that here's a
01:09:42.980 Native American being
01:09:44.560 wronged by a white
01:09:45.720 man's hospital and
01:09:47.000 you're doing
01:09:47.560 nothing.
01:09:48.500 Where's your
01:09:49.120 social justice
01:09:49.980 now?
01:09:51.500 Where your social
01:09:52.440 justice falls apart
01:09:53.780 because you're not
01:09:55.220 really serving
01:09:56.300 justice.
01:09:59.060 If you go after
01:10:00.480 this hospital,
01:10:01.460 you're actually
01:10:02.360 hurting your
01:10:03.560 cause.
01:10:05.000 Because you're
01:10:05.880 saying that people
01:10:06.880 should have a
01:10:07.700 right to life.
01:10:10.040 People should
01:10:10.500 have a right to
01:10:11.800 their own health
01:10:12.840 care the way
01:10:13.580 they deem.
01:10:15.200 And what you
01:10:15.920 believe is a
01:10:16.980 right to health
01:10:17.500 care is only a
01:10:18.500 right for the
01:10:19.100 government to
01:10:19.800 choose.
01:10:25.060 Last week,
01:10:25.840 they delivered
01:10:26.340 social justice
01:10:27.400 to Nick Sandman.
01:10:30.300 That's the kid.
01:10:31.900 Social justice
01:10:32.720 was done.
01:10:35.600 But I looked at
01:10:36.620 that kid and I
01:10:37.260 thought that could
01:10:37.980 be my kid.
01:10:38.740 And I think a lot
01:10:39.460 of Americans
01:10:40.140 hopefully looked at
01:10:41.580 him and said that
01:10:42.280 could be my kid.
01:10:43.300 And my kid might
01:10:44.520 do or say stupid
01:10:45.480 things.
01:10:45.800 This kid
01:10:46.540 didn't.
01:10:47.380 He just wore
01:10:48.320 a hat.
01:10:49.200 That was it.
01:10:51.720 And what
01:10:52.340 happened to him?
01:10:54.260 Social justice.
01:10:55.540 But I don't want
01:10:56.460 social justice
01:10:57.100 happening to my
01:10:57.880 kid.
01:11:01.160 And if the
01:11:02.160 left were to
01:11:02.780 live up to
01:11:03.360 their own
01:11:03.820 statements,
01:11:04.580 I believe it
01:11:05.940 was Barack
01:11:06.520 Obama who said
01:11:07.440 about Trayvon
01:11:08.200 Martin,
01:11:08.740 this could be
01:11:09.560 my kid.
01:11:10.600 I looked at
01:11:11.380 that kid and
01:11:11.920 it could have
01:11:12.300 been my kid.
01:11:13.180 well now
01:11:16.980 does race
01:11:17.600 is that the
01:11:18.340 only factor
01:11:19.120 in this?
01:11:20.480 Don't answer
01:11:21.240 that social
01:11:21.700 justice
01:11:22.140 warriors.
01:11:23.920 Because
01:11:24.480 because honestly
01:11:26.300 your answer
01:11:27.500 is almost
01:11:30.080 the seed.
01:11:31.620 No, it isn't
01:11:32.140 almost.
01:11:32.720 It is the
01:11:33.380 seed to
01:11:34.500 every great
01:11:35.220 genocide and
01:11:36.260 crime against
01:11:36.920 humanity.
01:11:37.920 Yes, race is
01:11:39.120 what matters.
01:11:39.760 the Westboro
01:11:44.040 Baptist Church.
01:11:44.840 Look how the
01:11:45.200 media does
01:11:45.800 this.
01:11:47.260 Westboro
01:11:47.800 Baptist Church.
01:11:48.480 Are we all
01:11:48.840 clear?
01:11:49.180 Westboro
01:11:49.520 Baptist Church
01:11:50.120 is really
01:11:51.340 crazy,
01:11:52.540 dangerous.
01:11:53.340 Yeah, it's
01:11:53.980 one family.
01:11:55.260 Westboro
01:11:55.640 Baptist Church.
01:11:57.200 But how about
01:11:58.060 the black
01:11:58.480 Israelites?
01:11:59.520 The black
01:12:00.000 Israelite
01:12:00.480 Hebrews?
01:12:02.040 You know,
01:12:02.360 the ones the
01:12:03.000 media described
01:12:03.780 as four
01:12:04.480 older black
01:12:05.400 men that
01:12:06.420 were terrorizing
01:12:08.100 everybody including
01:12:09.840 Native Americans
01:12:11.020 at the mall
01:12:12.400 with Nick
01:12:13.700 Sandman.
01:12:15.120 What about
01:12:15.940 them?
01:12:16.340 Or Louis
01:12:17.120 Farrakhan?
01:12:17.840 Is he an
01:12:18.280 extremist?
01:12:19.240 No.
01:12:20.320 Because the
01:12:21.020 media has
01:12:21.780 chosen a
01:12:22.600 side.
01:12:23.520 And the
01:12:23.740 media is now
01:12:24.720 for social
01:12:25.620 justice, not
01:12:26.740 actual justice.
01:12:28.020 And this is
01:12:28.800 why we're so
01:12:29.700 upset.
01:12:30.380 We think
01:12:31.080 they're just
01:12:31.640 biased towards
01:12:32.760 Democrats, but
01:12:33.560 they're not.
01:12:34.340 They are now
01:12:35.440 social justice
01:12:36.600 warriors.
01:12:37.240 So they're
01:12:38.260 not going to
01:12:38.620 point out
01:12:39.000 Louis Farrakhan.
01:12:39.960 They're not
01:12:40.360 going to
01:12:40.560 point out
01:12:40.880 the black
01:12:41.320 Israelite
01:12:42.120 Hebrews.
01:12:42.800 They will
01:12:43.580 point out
01:12:44.680 this white
01:12:45.220 church, the
01:12:45.720 Westboro
01:12:46.840 Baptist Church,
01:12:47.640 but they won't
01:12:48.340 point it out
01:12:49.020 as a
01:12:49.500 standalone.
01:12:51.140 What they'll
01:12:51.460 do is they'll
01:12:52.080 smear that
01:12:52.820 as all
01:12:53.560 white
01:12:54.000 Christianity.
01:12:55.680 And that
01:12:56.500 white
01:12:56.840 Christianity
01:12:57.500 apparently
01:12:58.240 covers those
01:12:59.520 in Covington.
01:13:01.280 However, it
01:13:02.140 doesn't seem
01:13:02.820 to count the
01:13:04.520 St.
01:13:04.780 Joseph's
01:13:05.200 Hospital in
01:13:06.100 Tucson
01:13:06.560 that's
01:13:08.300 killing the
01:13:08.780 Native
01:13:08.980 American
01:13:09.480 today.
01:13:12.580 You see
01:13:13.380 how this
01:13:13.660 works?
01:13:14.620 The Tea
01:13:15.240 Party is
01:13:15.740 racist, but
01:13:17.960 not the
01:13:18.280 Women's
01:13:18.640 March.
01:13:19.660 One of
01:13:20.480 them is
01:13:21.440 proven
01:13:22.220 racist.
01:13:23.980 One is
01:13:24.760 not.
01:13:27.300 The Tea
01:13:28.180 Party was a
01:13:29.120 group that
01:13:29.500 they were all
01:13:30.040 anti-government.
01:13:31.040 They wanted to
01:13:31.460 overthrow the
01:13:32.040 government.
01:13:33.000 They were
01:13:33.340 anarchists, but
01:13:35.420 Antifa is
01:13:36.160 not.
01:13:38.040 This is the
01:13:38.860 world of
01:13:39.220 social justice.
01:13:41.540 And if you
01:13:41.980 are a
01:13:42.480 thug and
01:13:43.500 you want
01:13:44.060 to do
01:13:46.440 what many
01:13:47.660 people who
01:13:48.580 were young
01:13:49.040 in Germany
01:13:49.640 in the
01:13:49.940 1930s were
01:13:50.840 very excited
01:13:51.660 for, if
01:13:53.260 you want to
01:13:53.920 go ahead and
01:13:54.660 make your
01:13:55.120 mark on the
01:13:55.780 world and
01:13:56.400 you know how
01:13:56.940 to game
01:13:57.380 this system,
01:13:58.380 you go right
01:13:59.420 ahead.
01:14:00.040 I'm not going
01:14:00.620 with you,
01:14:01.780 and I don't
01:14:02.240 know anybody
01:14:02.940 in my circle
01:14:04.040 of friends
01:14:04.480 that want
01:14:04.800 to go
01:14:05.020 with you,
01:14:05.620 and those
01:14:06.060 include
01:14:06.440 Democrats,
01:14:07.480 they are
01:14:08.460 afraid because
01:14:10.120 they know
01:14:10.700 history.
01:14:11.280 They saw
01:14:11.680 what happened
01:14:12.260 before.
01:14:13.420 Social justice
01:14:14.360 warriors need
01:14:15.920 thugs and
01:14:16.760 enforcers, and
01:14:17.720 the media has
01:14:18.840 become that
01:14:20.440 enforcer.
01:14:21.580 And if you
01:14:21.900 think I'm
01:14:22.480 wrong, well,
01:14:23.480 just explain
01:14:24.280 this.
01:14:25.000 How is it
01:14:25.620 that when
01:14:25.960 Trump shuts
01:14:26.700 down the
01:14:27.220 government,
01:14:27.600 because the
01:14:28.600 Democrats will
01:14:29.680 not negotiate
01:14:30.820 on national
01:14:31.820 security,
01:14:32.700 something that
01:14:33.460 he feels is
01:14:34.380 important, just
01:14:35.120 negotiate, he
01:14:36.140 would have
01:14:36.380 given you
01:14:36.720 anything, just
01:14:37.780 negotiate, he's
01:14:40.440 the problem, he's
01:14:41.940 the extremist.
01:14:43.360 However, when
01:14:44.340 Obama shut
01:14:45.980 down the
01:14:46.820 government,
01:14:47.920 because the
01:14:48.840 Republicans would
01:14:50.520 not negotiate
01:14:51.420 over Obamacare,
01:14:53.380 something Obama
01:14:54.480 believed was of
01:14:55.460 national security
01:14:56.720 importance, the
01:14:59.040 GOP was the
01:15:00.720 extremist, they
01:15:02.560 won't even
01:15:03.380 negotiate, Donald
01:15:04.700 Trump will
01:15:05.420 negotiate, and
01:15:06.340 yet he's the
01:15:07.120 one holding
01:15:07.640 people hostage.
01:15:09.340 The GOP are
01:15:11.320 open to
01:15:12.780 reasonable
01:15:13.500 negotiation,
01:15:15.540 they've offered
01:15:16.460 negotiation, Trump
01:15:18.280 has offered
01:15:18.900 negotiation, the
01:15:20.420 Democrats refuse
01:15:21.820 any negotiation,
01:15:23.520 and they're
01:15:24.780 not the
01:15:26.120 extremists, the
01:15:27.160 ones who will
01:15:27.820 negotiate are.
01:15:29.820 A republic
01:15:31.060 cannot survive.
01:15:34.620 Tomorrow we
01:15:35.600 begin a national
01:15:36.500 conversation.
01:15:37.800 Tomorrow we're
01:15:38.400 going to make
01:15:38.740 this free and
01:15:39.860 commercial free.
01:15:41.220 It's going to
01:15:42.080 be on all of
01:15:42.840 our platforms, not
01:15:43.920 on television, it's
01:15:44.660 commercial free.
01:15:45.720 You have to go to
01:15:46.900 blazetv.com
01:15:50.780 slash Beck.
01:15:53.980 You go there,
01:15:56.000 you sign up,
01:15:57.200 you watch
01:15:58.720 tomorrow, it's a
01:15:59.840 two-hour special,
01:16:01.900 a lot of our
01:16:03.340 hosts, as many as
01:16:04.160 we can get on, we
01:16:04.920 have 30 different
01:16:05.860 shows now, we're
01:16:06.900 bringing all of
01:16:07.800 them in for an
01:16:08.380 opening discussion
01:16:09.320 on the media
01:16:10.660 meltdown, because
01:16:12.900 we either all have
01:16:16.040 to hang together or
01:16:17.280 we will hang
01:16:18.040 separately.
01:16:18.540 the media is up
01:16:21.920 for grabs right
01:16:22.800 now and they're
01:16:23.880 playing for
01:16:24.500 keeps and
01:16:26.400 they have
01:16:27.100 their last
01:16:28.060 gasp to
01:16:29.320 reach out
01:16:30.040 beyond the
01:16:30.580 grave and
01:16:31.620 grab anyone
01:16:32.520 and pull them
01:16:34.080 down to keep
01:16:35.440 their head above
01:16:36.200 water.
01:16:37.320 But the
01:16:38.160 republic cannot
01:16:38.960 survive with
01:16:40.000 this media and
01:16:41.280 tomorrow we are
01:16:42.120 going to show
01:16:42.920 you exactly
01:16:44.100 all of the
01:16:45.480 cases.
01:16:46.640 Here's the
01:16:47.380 media.
01:16:48.440 Inconsistency,
01:16:49.220 inconsistency,
01:16:50.300 what do you
01:16:50.840 do?
01:16:51.380 When they
01:16:51.980 will lie
01:16:52.920 about videotape,
01:16:55.120 about an
01:16:55.540 event where
01:16:56.060 videotape
01:16:56.760 exists, there
01:16:57.500 it is, there
01:16:58.160 he's doing it,
01:16:58.900 it's the exact
01:16:59.760 opposite of
01:17:00.920 what you say.
01:17:02.120 When they
01:17:03.020 go that
01:17:03.820 far, what
01:17:05.760 else are they
01:17:06.220 willing to
01:17:06.680 do?
01:17:09.320 Media
01:17:09.920 meltdown.
01:17:10.560 tomorrow, 6
01:17:13.000 to 8
01:17:13.880 p.m., 6
01:17:15.720 to 8
01:17:16.340 p.m., only
01:17:17.600 on Blaze
01:17:18.420 TV, online
01:17:19.820 only.
01:17:21.360 Go and sign
01:17:22.280 up right
01:17:22.880 now, blazetv.com
01:17:25.520 slash Beck.
01:17:27.040 That is
01:17:27.680 tomorrow,
01:17:28.560 commercial
01:17:29.060 free, very
01:17:30.580 important.
01:17:32.080 Join us
01:17:32.700 tomorrow night.
01:17:36.480 I'll be
01:17:37.280 hosted by
01:17:37.720 Eric Bolling,
01:17:38.680 and I'm
01:17:39.240 going to be
01:17:39.460 there the
01:17:39.840 whole time,
01:17:40.300 and all
01:17:40.680 of the
01:17:40.880 other hosts
01:17:41.360 are coming
01:17:42.320 in and
01:17:42.780 playing a
01:17:43.160 role, and
01:17:43.500 this is
01:17:44.040 really
01:17:44.420 important as
01:17:45.520 we chart
01:17:45.900 our future
01:17:46.340 for tomorrow.
01:17:47.580 American
01:17:47.940 finance, I
01:17:49.680 think mortgages
01:17:50.700 are kind of
01:17:51.820 taking this
01:17:52.400 scary turn
01:17:53.260 again.
01:17:54.160 I saw in
01:17:54.720 the Wall
01:17:54.940 Street Journal
01:17:55.420 that mortgages
01:17:56.200 are now,
01:17:56.920 hey, you
01:17:57.220 don't need
01:17:57.660 ID, you
01:17:58.400 don't need
01:17:58.760 a down
01:17:59.080 payment, you
01:17:59.640 don't even
01:18:00.000 need a
01:18:00.620 pay stub.
01:18:02.400 Oh, dear
01:18:02.760 God, are
01:18:03.360 you kidding
01:18:03.780 me?
01:18:05.040 Why?
01:18:05.600 Have we
01:18:05.840 learned
01:18:06.060 anything?
01:18:07.120 Why would
01:18:07.660 you do
01:18:07.960 that?
01:18:08.880 So, money
01:18:09.960 is going
01:18:10.300 to grow, I
01:18:10.940 think, tighter
01:18:11.480 and tighter
01:18:12.040 as the
01:18:13.060 things go
01:18:13.720 on and as
01:18:14.740 we get
01:18:15.100 closer to
01:18:15.820 the real
01:18:16.440 meltdown.
01:18:17.380 Now is the
01:18:18.300 time to buy.
01:18:19.340 Now is the
01:18:19.880 time to get
01:18:20.880 a locked-in
01:18:22.500 rate.
01:18:23.840 Please get a
01:18:25.420 locked-in
01:18:26.020 mortgage rate.
01:18:27.740 And the
01:18:28.020 people, if you
01:18:28.740 have to move,
01:18:29.540 if you're
01:18:29.900 looking to
01:18:30.420 buy, you

01:18:37.300 These people
01:18:37.780 do not
01:18:38.340 answer to
01:18:38.840 banks, they
01:18:39.400 answer to
01:18:39.840 you.
01:18:40.620 They're all
01:18:41.000 salaried, nobody's
01:18:41.920 getting a
01:18:42.520 perk or a
01:18:43.180 bonus if they
01:18:43.840 sell a certain
01:18:44.440 instrument from
01:18:45.140 a certain
01:18:45.500 bank.
01:18:46.280 They are
01:18:46.580 going out and
01:18:47.300 independently
01:18:47.820 looking at
01:18:48.520 all of the
01:18:49.200 options after
01:18:50.400 they listen
01:18:50.940 to you.

01:19:20.080 Jeremy Hunt,
01:19:21.000 the British
01:19:21.320 foreign minister,
01:19:22.020 arrived in
01:19:22.460 Washington last
01:19:23.280 week.
01:19:23.860 A whole bunch
01:19:24.700 of meetings
01:19:25.360 dominated by
01:19:26.180 this question.
01:19:27.560 Should Great
01:19:28.340 Britain risk
01:19:29.020 its relationship
01:19:29.720 with Beijing
01:19:30.440 and agree with
01:19:31.540 the Trump
01:19:31.880 administration
01:19:32.440 request to
01:19:34.160 ban the
01:19:35.520 big Chinese
01:19:36.560 technology
01:19:37.220 company that
01:19:38.120 is pushing
01:19:38.820 5G.
01:19:40.720 China leads
01:19:42.220 the telecommunications
01:19:43.400 along with the
01:19:45.040 United States.
01:19:46.000 They are building
01:19:46.960 the next generation
01:19:47.780 computer and
01:19:48.760 phone networks
01:19:49.640 called the
01:19:50.260 5G network.
01:19:52.600 Britain is
01:19:53.980 not the only
01:19:55.000 american ally
01:19:55.820 feeling the heat.
01:19:57.080 Poland also
01:19:57.920 under pressure
01:19:58.620 from the
01:19:59.160 United States
01:20:00.080 and the
01:20:04.000 bad guy here
01:20:05.180 Germany is
01:20:05.820 also under
01:20:06.240 this.
01:20:06.960 The bad
01:20:07.340 guy here
01:20:07.900 is Donald
01:20:08.600 Trump.
01:20:08.920 The Chinese
01:20:09.820 are using
01:20:10.440 Donald Trump
01:20:11.120 and saying
01:20:11.980 it's just
01:20:12.540 him and he
01:20:13.200 just wants
01:20:13.640 to hurt
01:20:13.960 everybody
01:20:14.500 and blah
01:20:14.940 blah blah.
01:20:15.300 the 5G
01:20:16.820 network is
01:20:17.960 game-changing
01:20:18.920 5G
01:20:20.620 fifth
01:20:21.420 generation
01:20:22.500 fifth
01:20:23.540 generation
01:20:24.440 of
01:20:25.360 communications.
01:20:27.020 The 5G
01:20:28.160 network
01:20:28.620 takes away
01:20:29.580 all latency
01:20:32.340 problems
01:20:33.000 and makes
01:20:33.760 the pipeline
01:20:34.520 for communication
01:20:35.580 so big
01:20:36.480 and so
01:20:37.140 fast
01:20:37.800 that you
01:20:39.240 will have
01:20:39.860 driving cars.
01:20:40.940 Your refrigerator
01:20:41.580 will be reporting
01:20:42.640 what food
01:20:43.280 you have
01:20:43.880 in.
01:20:44.860 It is
01:20:45.220 the beginning
01:20:45.960 of a
01:20:46.400 complete
01:20:47.080 and total
01:20:47.840 surveillance
01:20:48.460 state.
01:20:49.900 Now,
01:20:50.040 it's what's
01:20:50.640 called
01:20:50.900 surveillance
01:20:51.480 capitalism
01:20:52.140 which is
01:20:53.460 like,
01:20:53.840 hey,
01:20:53.960 if you want
01:20:54.440 things to
01:20:54.900 work well
01:20:55.380 for you,
01:20:55.900 then you
01:20:56.480 need to
01:20:56.760 have that
01:20:57.060 information
01:20:57.520 reported,
01:20:58.280 blah blah
01:20:58.540 blah.
01:20:59.220 But with
01:20:59.860 Chinese,
01:21:01.280 if the
01:21:02.620 Chinese
01:21:03.120 technology
01:21:04.000 is the
01:21:04.580 one that
01:21:05.180 is providing
01:21:05.800 the spine,
01:21:06.940 they have
01:21:07.340 access to
01:21:08.940 all information
01:21:10.320 and all
01:21:11.220 products and
01:21:11.980 services.
01:21:12.640 It must
01:21:13.660 not be
01:21:14.320 done for
01:21:15.100 national
01:21:15.600 security
01:21:16.140 reasons.
01:21:17.040 Let me
01:21:17.420 tell you
01:21:17.580 about our
01:21:17.820 sponsor this
01:21:18.300 half hour.
01:21:18.920 It is
01:21:19.200 Relief Factor.

01:21:21.860 is helping
01:21:22.600 people alleviate
01:21:24.080 pain for
01:21:25.300 the first
01:21:25.620 time in
01:21:26.060 a long
01:21:26.620 time.
01:21:27.620 We've been
01:21:28.180 talking about
01:21:28.660 it for
01:21:28.940 about three
01:21:29.400 or four
01:21:29.660 years here
01:21:30.360 at The
01:21:30.700 Blaze.
01:21:30.960 I started
01:21:31.260 taking it
01:21:31.660 a year
01:21:32.000 ago and
01:21:33.100 I have
01:21:33.500 to tell
01:21:33.820 you,
01:21:34.200 it has
01:21:34.640 changed
01:21:35.280 my life.
01:21:36.240 I feel
01:21:36.620 like I
01:21:36.900 got my
01:21:37.140 life back.
01:21:38.260 When I
01:21:38.560 started
01:21:38.900 taking
01:21:39.600 Relief
01:21:39.920 Factor,
01:21:40.320 I just
01:21:40.700 couldn't
01:21:41.000 live with
01:21:41.380 the pain
01:21:41.720 that I
01:21:41.940 was in
01:21:42.300 every day
01:21:42.780 and I
01:21:43.000 don't want
01:21:43.300 to take
01:21:43.560 opioids.
01:21:44.200 I just
01:21:44.420 don't want
01:21:44.700 to go
01:21:44.840 down that
01:21:45.280 road.
01:21:46.700 Relief
01:21:47.100 Factor
01:21:47.520 keeps me
01:21:49.260 functioning.
01:21:51.100 Try it.
01:21:51.720 Try it for
01:21:52.120 three weeks.
01:21:52.900 It works
01:21:53.240 for 70%
01:21:54.000 of the people.
01:21:54.560 They go
01:21:54.760 on to
01:21:54.960 order more.
01:21:55.840 If it
01:21:56.080 doesn't work
01:21:56.540 for you,
01:21:56.940 you're out
01:21:57.220 $20.
01:21:57.820 But if it
01:21:58.240 does,
01:21:58.700 you get
01:21:59.000 your life
01:21:59.480 back.
01:21:59.940 Please try
01:22:00.620 it.
01:22:01.180 Call them
01:22:01.540 now.
01:22:01.960 800-500-8384.
01:22:04.720 800-500-8384.
01:22:07.040 Or
01:22:07.340 relieffactor.com.
01:22:09.740 That's
01:22:10.180 relieffactor.com.
01:22:12.180 The fusion
01:22:14.680 of entertainment
01:22:15.820 and enlightenment.
01:22:17.400 This is the
01:22:18.460 Glenn Beck
01:22:18.820 program.
01:22:19.340 So in the
01:22:20.400 last hour,
01:22:21.160 I told you
01:22:22.580 about something
01:22:23.080 that Donald
01:22:23.500 Trump is doing
01:22:24.200 that the
01:22:24.640 allies are
01:22:25.480 starting to
01:22:25.940 push up
01:22:26.360 against.
01:22:27.660 And China
01:22:28.160 is strong
01:22:29.040 arming the
01:22:29.900 West to
01:22:30.640 take their
01:22:31.140 5G
01:22:31.980 technology.
01:22:33.540 5G
01:22:34.040 technology
01:22:34.680 changes
01:22:35.380 absolutely
01:22:36.160 everything
01:22:36.860 as we
01:22:38.100 understand
01:22:38.780 it today.
01:22:39.540 once you
01:22:40.340 have
01:22:40.480 5G
01:22:40.940 technology,
01:22:42.380 your
01:22:42.640 refrigerator
01:22:43.320 is going
01:22:43.780 to be
01:22:43.960 reporting
01:22:44.420 on you
01:22:45.260 to Amazon
01:22:46.100 to make
01:22:46.500 sure that
01:22:46.860 you have
01:22:47.240 all of
01:22:47.560 the food
01:22:48.040 that you
01:22:48.960 need.
01:22:49.340 And you
01:22:49.520 won't have
01:22:49.860 to worry
01:22:50.280 about going
01:22:50.840 to the
01:22:51.160 store.
01:22:51.680 You
01:22:51.740 will have
01:22:52.740 a self-driving
01:22:53.660 car.
01:22:54.220 It's all
01:22:54.760 on the
01:22:55.060 back of
01:22:55.580 5G.
01:22:56.960 Well,
01:22:57.280 China can
01:22:57.860 sell you
01:22:58.320 one real
01:22:58.760 cheap.
01:23:00.080 Well,
01:23:00.640 that also
01:23:01.020 gives
01:23:01.260 China access
01:23:02.220 to every
01:23:03.120 bit of
01:23:04.040 information
01:23:04.680 on every
01:23:05.580 home in
01:23:06.280 the West.
01:23:07.200 That's
01:23:07.720 what they
01:23:08.200 want.
01:23:09.540 So last
01:23:10.340 hour I
01:23:10.620 talked about
01:23:11.040 that.
01:23:11.820 This hour
01:23:12.620 I want to
01:23:13.480 talk about
01:23:14.400 witches.
01:23:16.280 Modern day
01:23:17.220 witches.
01:23:18.160 We begin
01:23:18.880 there right
01:23:20.340 now.
01:23:23.600 This is the
01:23:24.480 Glenn Beck
01:23:24.960 program.
01:23:26.000 At the
01:23:26.600 beginning of
01:23:26.880 the year we
01:23:27.160 switched around
01:23:27.740 the show.
01:23:28.140 We wanted to
01:23:28.540 clear out a
01:23:29.360 bunch of the
01:23:30.060 commercials and
01:23:30.560 spend more
01:23:30.900 time with
01:23:31.340 you.
01:23:31.620 So we're
01:23:31.880 only stopping
01:23:32.380 for two
01:23:32.860 minutes in
01:23:33.300 this half
01:23:33.660 hour.
01:23:34.600 And they're
01:23:35.480 both for
01:23:36.340 one minute
01:23:37.900 commercials that
01:23:38.840 are live and
01:23:39.560 then we're
01:23:39.760 right back
01:23:40.080 into the
01:23:40.340 show.
01:23:40.600 So give
01:23:40.840 me one
01:23:41.160 minute to
01:23:41.580 tell you
01:23:42.060 about 23
01:23:42.760 and me.
01:23:44.020 Last night
01:23:44.720 the family
01:23:45.160 got together
01:23:45.740 and we
01:23:46.780 did our
01:23:47.360 DNA test.
01:23:48.360 All of
01:23:48.640 us spit
01:23:49.440 in a little
01:23:50.000 vial.
01:23:51.180 It's fun for
01:23:52.920 the whole
01:23:53.160 family,
01:23:54.020 especially if
01:23:54.660 you're all
01:23:54.920 doing it
01:23:55.260 together and
01:23:56.060 you start
01:23:57.180 to fill out
01:23:57.800 the questionnaire
01:23:58.460 because,
01:23:59.340 well,
01:23:59.940 we finished
01:24:00.420 it and
01:24:01.260 they said,
01:24:02.440 congratulations,
01:24:03.480 you finished
01:24:04.040 more of this
01:24:04.620 questionnaire than
01:24:05.400 90% of the
01:24:06.700 public.
01:24:07.120 And I was
01:24:07.320 like, oh,
01:24:08.060 you got to
01:24:08.420 be kidding
01:24:08.800 me.
01:24:09.640 I mean,
01:24:09.900 I had a
01:24:10.500 choice.
01:24:10.860 I didn't
01:24:11.120 have to
01:24:11.440 fit up.
01:24:12.260 So anyway,
01:24:13.200 you spit
01:24:13.800 in a bottle,
01:24:14.360 you send
01:24:14.840 it and
01:24:15.280 then they
01:24:16.360 come back
01:24:16.760 and they
01:24:17.020 tell you
01:24:17.560 a hundred
01:24:18.140 and I
01:24:18.700 think it's
01:24:18.940 129
01:24:20.220 different traits
01:24:21.320 on your
01:24:21.780 health that
01:24:22.720 will talk
01:24:23.080 about your
01:24:23.480 sleep.
01:24:24.260 It will
01:24:24.420 do more
01:24:25.000 than just
01:24:25.440 talk about
01:24:26.000 your
01:24:26.220 ancestry.
01:24:27.240 It talks
01:24:27.600 about the
01:24:28.840 diseases that
01:24:29.780 you are
01:24:30.300 probably
01:24:30.760 vulnerable to
01:24:31.700 things that
01:24:32.780 will actually
01:24:33.260 change your
01:24:33.920 life.
01:24:34.320 do this
01:24:35.280 with me
01:24:35.900 this year.
01:24:36.540 23 and
01:24:37.520 me.
01:24:38.140 I'm doing
01:24:38.780 it for my
01:24:39.160 health, but
01:24:39.640 I'm also
01:24:39.940 doing it for
01:24:40.360 my ancestry.
01:24:41.300 My son is
01:24:42.580 adopted.
01:24:43.580 We'd like to
01:24:44.200 know about
01:24:44.620 his health.
01:24:45.300 We'd also
01:24:45.720 like to
01:24:46.080 know about
01:24:46.480 his ancestry.
01:24:47.580 So get

01:24:52.480 Again,
01:24:53.020 that's

01:24:55.800 slash
01:24:56.720 Beck.
01:24:57.200 If you
01:25:08.180 are a
01:25:08.640 fan of
01:25:09.200 the
01:25:09.380 Sigma
01:25:09.660 Force
01:25:10.100 series
01:25:10.700 as I
01:25:11.460 am,
01:25:11.900 you will
01:25:12.360 be
01:25:12.560 thrilled
01:25:12.960 to know
01:25:13.620 that James
01:25:14.120 Rollins is
01:25:14.720 on with
01:25:15.180 us now.
01:25:15.680 He has
01:25:15.960 a new
01:25:16.320 novel out.
01:25:17.080 It's
01:25:17.560 called
01:25:17.960 Crucible.
01:25:19.060 It is
01:25:19.560 a thriller
01:25:20.260 and it's
01:25:21.060 about
01:25:21.320 witchcraft
01:25:22.000 and yet
01:25:22.680 it's
01:25:23.140 not
01:25:23.540 about
01:25:23.900 witchcraft.
01:25:24.480 No,
01:25:25.020 I love
01:25:25.300 to mix
01:25:25.740 a little
01:25:26.260 bit of
01:25:26.480 history
01:25:26.820 and a
01:25:27.220 bit of
01:25:27.440 science.
01:25:27.780 So this
01:25:28.400 starts way
01:25:29.220 back during
01:25:29.740 the Spanish
01:25:30.200 Inquisition
01:25:30.900 when there
01:25:31.780 was a
01:25:32.020 sort of
01:25:32.240 a,
01:25:32.920 you talked
01:25:33.320 a little
01:25:33.500 bit about
01:25:33.800 how tech
01:25:34.340 seems to
01:25:34.880 impact
01:25:35.420 daily life
01:25:37.000 and that's
01:25:37.340 what happened
01:25:37.660 in the past
01:25:38.160 prior to
01:25:38.600 the 1400s.
01:25:40.520 You know,
01:25:41.520 there was no
01:25:42.200 great persecution
01:25:43.140 of witches.
01:25:43.900 The Catholic
01:25:44.700 Church seemed
01:25:45.140 to be okay
01:25:45.620 with witches.
01:25:46.920 But about
01:25:47.320 the mid-1400s
01:25:48.320 there was a
01:25:48.900 volume that
01:25:49.920 was produced
01:25:50.480 called the
01:25:50.860 Malleus
01:25:51.320 Malefarchum
01:25:52.040 or Hammer
01:25:52.860 of Witches.
01:25:53.520 It was
01:25:53.720 produced by
01:25:54.240 a priest
01:25:54.720 in 1487.
01:25:56.580 This volume
01:25:57.620 was a
01:25:58.020 witch hunter's
01:25:58.720 bible.
01:25:59.560 It's going
01:25:59.780 to tell you
01:26:00.100 how to
01:26:00.440 find a
01:26:01.160 witch,
01:26:02.180 torture a
01:26:02.720 witch,
01:26:03.360 persecute a
01:26:03.920 witch.
01:26:04.080 Basically,
01:26:04.420 fun reading.
01:26:05.820 Now this
01:26:06.240 book would
01:26:06.540 have been
01:26:06.680 lost for
01:26:07.120 obscurity,
01:26:07.880 but for
01:26:08.700 one fact,
01:26:09.680 that it
01:26:10.100 came out
01:26:10.420 the same
01:26:10.800 time of
01:26:11.320 Gutenberg's
01:26:12.020 printing
01:26:12.320 press.
01:26:13.260 So it
01:26:13.860 was one
01:26:14.100 of the
01:26:14.340 first
01:26:14.600 mass-produced
01:26:15.420 books.
01:26:16.180 It was
01:26:16.320 distributed
01:26:16.780 across
01:26:17.220 Europe,
01:26:17.960 eventually
01:26:18.280 over to
01:26:18.660 the Americas,
01:26:19.500 and it
01:26:19.940 was that
01:26:20.240 one volume
01:26:20.860 that's
01:26:21.100 considered to
01:26:21.660 be the
01:26:22.100 match,
01:26:23.020 the spark
01:26:23.480 that ignited
01:26:24.220 the great
01:26:24.660 witch purges
01:26:25.500 that swept
01:26:26.020 Europe for
01:26:26.480 400 years,
01:26:29.180 and then
01:26:29.460 eventually
01:26:29.860 spread to
01:26:30.320 Salem here
01:26:30.800 in the
01:26:31.040 States.
01:26:32.080 When it
01:26:32.760 comes to
01:26:33.140 tech,
01:26:33.500 I'm sure
01:26:33.800 when the
01:26:34.120 Gutenberg
01:26:34.620 printing press
01:26:35.280 was going,
01:26:35.860 oh, it'll
01:26:36.360 bring the
01:26:36.800 world closer
01:26:37.840 together,
01:26:38.420 knowledge
01:26:38.740 will become
01:26:39.400 a greater
01:26:40.420 boon to
01:26:42.740 humanity,
01:26:43.980 and what
01:26:44.560 did they
01:26:44.780 use it
01:26:45.020 for?
01:26:45.660 Burn all
01:26:46.260 witches.
01:26:47.220 Yeah.
01:26:47.600 And look at
01:26:48.320 the internet
01:26:48.600 today.
01:26:49.200 When it
01:26:49.780 first came
01:26:50.180 out,
01:26:50.320 everybody
01:26:50.420 says,
01:26:50.620 oh, it'll
01:26:50.940 bring people
01:26:51.420 closer
01:26:51.760 together,
01:26:52.420 it'll expand
01:26:54.240 knowledge,
01:26:55.020 it'll be a
01:26:55.600 great boon
01:26:56.100 to mankind.
01:26:57.080 And we
01:26:57.420 really are.
01:26:58.660 Burn those
01:26:59.120 witches.
01:26:59.340 We're still
01:26:59.860 burning those
01:27:00.320 witches at
01:27:00.680 this point.
01:27:01.240 So that's
01:27:01.640 one of the
01:27:02.140 crux of the
01:27:03.160 story is
01:27:03.640 how, you
01:27:05.120 know, tech
01:27:05.500 sometimes sounds
01:27:06.340 good, and
01:27:06.880 the tech in
01:27:07.340 this book
01:27:07.660 deals with
01:27:08.020 artificial
01:27:08.360 intelligence,
01:27:09.140 and as you
01:27:09.520 mentioned,
01:27:09.800 with the
01:27:09.980 5G, and
01:27:10.700 where we're
01:27:11.180 headed right
01:27:11.620 now in the
01:27:12.180 tech world,
01:27:12.800 and how it
01:27:13.460 sounds good
01:27:14.140 on paper,
01:27:15.140 but it may
01:27:16.980 not.
01:27:17.520 Because I've
01:27:19.400 been a fan
01:27:19.760 of yours for
01:27:20.160 a very long
01:27:20.640 time, as you
01:27:21.080 know.
01:27:21.360 Thank you.
01:27:21.780 And I
01:27:23.820 think storytellers
01:27:25.340 like you are
01:27:25.840 so important
01:27:26.620 because people
01:27:29.580 don't, you
01:27:30.600 know, I
01:27:30.840 could say,
01:27:31.360 hey, I'm
01:27:32.500 going to
01:27:32.620 spend the
01:27:32.940 next week
01:27:33.560 talking about
01:27:34.640 tech and
01:27:35.240 how it's
01:27:35.740 going to
01:27:35.980 change the
01:27:36.440 world.
01:27:36.900 Nobody really
01:27:37.480 wants to
01:27:37.800 hear it.
01:27:38.360 And at
01:27:39.220 this point,
01:27:40.160 I don't
01:27:41.240 think the
01:27:41.620 average
01:27:41.900 American
01:27:42.400 understands.
01:27:44.140 They don't
01:27:44.800 believe, they've
01:27:45.400 been promised
01:27:45.860 flying cars.
01:27:47.260 So when
01:27:47.460 they hear,
01:27:47.940 I know.
01:27:49.040 So when you
01:27:49.480 hear 5 to
01:27:51.740 10 years from
01:27:52.580 now, the
01:27:53.040 world is going
01:27:53.760 to be
01:27:54.100 completely
01:27:54.720 different,
01:27:55.840 they put
01:27:56.180 that in the
01:27:56.580 flying car
01:27:57.280 category.
01:27:58.400 And this
01:27:59.020 time, it's
01:28:00.060 different.
01:28:01.000 So tell me
01:28:01.840 the story that
01:28:02.600 you created
01:28:03.280 around the
01:28:04.280 warning that
01:28:05.600 people like
01:28:06.240 Elon Musk
01:28:06.880 have been
01:28:07.260 giving.
01:28:07.920 Right.
01:28:08.100 So it
01:28:08.620 deals with
01:28:08.940 the coming
01:28:09.200 crisis, one
01:28:09.960 that the
01:28:10.740 physicist Stephen
01:28:11.260 Hawking says
01:28:11.840 is going to
01:28:12.380 lead to the
01:28:13.220 theoretically the
01:28:14.080 end of human
01:28:14.480 civilization.
01:28:15.240 Elon Musk
01:28:15.660 says it's
01:28:15.960 going to lead
01:28:16.220 to World
01:28:16.560 War III.
01:28:17.540 Vladimir Putin
01:28:18.120 says whoever
01:28:18.480 controls this
01:28:19.100 tech will
01:28:19.480 control the
01:28:19.920 world.
01:28:20.880 And that
01:28:21.180 tech is
01:28:21.680 artificial
01:28:22.100 intelligence.
01:28:22.580 It's the
01:28:23.020 creation of
01:28:23.520 the first
01:28:23.880 sort of
01:28:24.200 true human
01:28:24.820 like AI.
01:28:26.040 Now that
01:28:26.600 sounds something
01:28:27.200 like science
01:28:27.680 fiction.
01:28:28.180 You know,
01:28:28.380 nowhere in my
01:28:28.760 book do I
01:28:29.220 have Arnold
01:28:29.940 Schwarzenegger
01:28:30.500 going into the
01:28:31.120 past and
01:28:31.520 saving Sarah
01:28:32.020 Connors.
01:28:32.560 Right.
01:28:32.940 You know,
01:28:33.240 this is what's
01:28:34.580 ripped from,
01:28:35.100 you know,
01:28:35.380 I call these
01:28:36.460 AI researchers,
01:28:37.320 I had 22 AI
01:28:37.980 researchers for
01:28:38.820 this novel.
01:28:40.320 And I posed
01:28:41.540 a question to
01:28:42.180 all of them.
01:28:42.680 Well, you
01:28:43.120 know, it's
01:28:44.260 scaring Hawking
01:28:45.320 and Musk.
01:28:47.160 When's it
01:28:47.640 going to
01:28:48.360 happen?
01:28:49.640 And they
01:28:50.100 would say
01:28:50.360 sometime
01:28:50.880 between, like
01:28:51.520 you said,
01:28:51.920 five to 15
01:28:52.960 years, which
01:28:53.680 again, you
01:28:55.080 can put
01:28:55.280 rosy glass
01:28:55.860 and go,
01:28:56.280 well, I'm
01:28:56.940 not going to
01:28:57.160 worry about
01:28:57.480 that today.
01:28:58.440 That's down
01:28:58.940 the line.
01:28:59.780 Except that
01:29:00.280 two of the
01:29:00.680 researchers,
01:29:01.680 one on the
01:29:02.360 West Coast
01:29:02.820 and one in
01:29:03.120 the Midwest,
01:29:03.940 both of them
01:29:04.380 told me,
01:29:04.700 oh, no,
01:29:05.000 Jim, it's
01:29:06.260 already here.
01:29:07.240 You know,
01:29:07.400 we've got our
01:29:08.240 ear to the
01:29:08.880 third rail of
01:29:09.580 AI research
01:29:10.360 and we hear
01:29:10.960 what's rumbling
01:29:11.520 and it would
01:29:12.360 only rumble
01:29:13.000 in that way
01:29:13.960 if somebody
01:29:14.880 was not
01:29:15.220 already
01:29:15.440 experimenting
01:29:15.920 with AI
01:29:17.640 tech that
01:29:18.100 reached that
01:29:18.640 level of
01:29:19.200 human, of
01:29:20.220 self-awareness
01:29:20.940 and human
01:29:21.380 level of
01:29:21.740 intelligence.
01:29:22.840 What are
01:29:23.160 the rumbles
01:29:23.740 that they
01:29:24.280 hear?
01:29:24.680 Do they
01:29:24.960 say?
01:29:25.560 Well, in
01:29:26.080 the book,
01:29:26.460 there's some
01:29:26.780 proof in
01:29:27.260 the book
01:29:27.660 that I had
01:29:28.440 to change
01:29:28.680 some names
01:29:29.020 to avoid
01:29:29.280 slander,
01:29:29.800 but some
01:29:30.060 of the
01:29:30.200 proof is
01:29:30.480 in the
01:29:30.660 book,
01:29:30.920 but they
01:29:31.180 showed me
01:29:31.500 the proof
01:29:31.880 and it
01:29:32.180 was convincing
01:29:32.700 that there
01:29:33.740 is evidence
01:29:34.220 at this
01:29:34.600 point that
01:29:35.040 some people
01:29:35.460 are experimenting
01:29:38.880 on in
01:29:39.560 different
01:29:39.740 segments
01:29:40.100 because when
01:29:40.740 you're talking
01:29:40.920 about AI
01:29:41.220 tech, it's
01:29:41.720 very subdivided.
01:29:42.740 Everybody's
01:29:43.100 in their own
01:29:43.500 little circle
01:29:43.980 doing one
01:29:44.380 part of it
01:29:44.880 and so some
01:29:46.000 of the research
01:29:46.500 going in certain
01:29:47.280 parts indicate
01:29:47.900 that somebody
01:29:48.460 is already
01:29:49.020 testing that,
01:29:50.220 a human level
01:29:50.880 of AI tech.
01:29:52.260 So if we're
01:29:52.520 not, if
01:29:53.560 they're not
01:29:53.940 right, we're
01:29:55.460 still within
01:29:55.960 the next 5 to
01:29:56.680 10, 5 to 15
01:29:57.480 years of facing
01:29:57.920 this, we're
01:29:58.260 going to face
01:29:58.760 something we
01:29:59.520 never faced
01:29:59.920 before, which
01:30:00.380 is an
01:30:00.920 intelligence we're
01:30:01.520 sharing this
01:30:01.860 planet with that
01:30:02.460 we've never
01:30:02.880 seen before.
01:30:03.560 And people
01:30:04.120 don't understand.
01:30:04.980 People think,
01:30:05.660 oh, it will
01:30:06.120 be friendly
01:30:06.680 to human
01:30:07.080 or we can
01:30:07.520 keep it in
01:30:07.940 a cage.
01:30:08.720 It's going
01:30:09.260 to be thinking
01:30:09.780 so fast.
01:30:10.700 It will be
01:30:11.140 like a
01:30:12.460 three-year-old
01:30:13.120 trying to
01:30:13.700 block Einstein
01:30:15.320 from leaving
01:30:16.100 a room.
01:30:16.900 Exactly.
01:30:17.500 It's not
01:30:17.700 going to
01:30:17.940 happen.
01:30:19.300 And so they
01:30:20.740 think we can
01:30:21.220 keep it in
01:30:21.660 a cage or
01:30:22.260 it will be
01:30:22.580 friendly.
01:30:23.100 We have to
01:30:23.600 understand this
01:30:24.920 truly is an
01:30:26.480 alien life
01:30:27.900 form.
01:30:28.980 So we have
01:30:29.320 no idea.
01:30:30.060 We're already
01:30:30.340 learning this
01:30:30.960 through things
01:30:31.340 like go.
01:30:32.260 It doesn't
01:30:33.120 think like us.
01:30:34.160 No.
01:30:34.580 So we can't
01:30:35.260 predict it
01:30:35.940 at all.
01:30:36.960 I mean,
01:30:37.180 the founder
01:30:37.660 of Skype
01:30:38.100 said that
01:30:38.600 when this
01:30:39.020 happens,
01:30:39.460 we're talking
01:30:40.020 about a
01:30:40.240 consciousness
01:30:40.680 that we
01:30:41.120 can't
01:30:41.500 control and
01:30:42.740 that we
01:30:42.960 can't
01:30:43.200 comprehend.
01:30:44.540 And we're
01:30:45.300 not going
01:30:45.540 to be able
01:30:45.700 to control
01:30:46.120 it.
01:30:46.940 I know
01:30:47.500 from you've
01:30:48.200 done a lot
01:30:48.540 of research
01:30:48.940 on AI
01:30:49.340 yourself.
01:30:49.780 You know
01:30:50.160 about the
01:30:50.420 AI box
01:30:50.940 experiment
01:30:51.420 where they
01:30:51.880 put an
01:30:52.580 AI researcher
01:30:53.780 in a room
01:30:54.400 in a virtual
01:30:54.980 locked up chat
01:30:55.800 room and said,
01:30:56.280 hey, I'll
01:30:57.620 give you a
01:30:57.920 cash prize if
01:30:58.720 you keep me
01:30:59.100 in this chat
01:30:59.540 room.
01:31:00.340 Well, the
01:31:00.660 majority of
01:31:01.060 them failed.
01:31:01.660 He escaped
01:31:02.380 every single
01:31:02.900 time.
01:31:05.260 Of
01:31:05.740 intelligence
01:31:06.300 and his
01:31:06.820 escapes
01:31:07.460 because when
01:31:09.160 I when
01:31:10.080 AI has
01:31:10.960 access to
01:31:11.720 all information
01:31:12.520 and is
01:31:13.380 credible saying
01:31:14.920 look, I
01:31:15.780 know your
01:31:16.200 mom has
01:31:16.600 cancer.
01:31:17.120 I know
01:31:17.760 and I'm
01:31:19.080 telling you
01:31:19.700 I can
01:31:20.360 save her.
01:31:21.420 I know
01:31:21.800 what kind
01:31:22.280 of cancer
01:31:22.760 it is.
01:31:23.160 I have
01:31:23.660 the solution
01:31:24.260 humans
01:31:25.600 immediately go
01:31:27.120 and I you
01:31:28.000 know what
01:31:28.320 it's too
01:31:28.680 good.
01:31:29.400 Yes, I
01:31:29.960 gonna release
01:31:30.600 you.
01:31:30.780 I mean the
01:31:31.160 for the cause
01:31:31.980 of cancer
01:31:32.520 I'm gonna
01:31:32.820 release gets
01:31:33.820 out every
01:31:34.360 single time.
01:31:35.260 And that's
01:31:35.700 not with a
01:31:36.140 superior
01:31:36.480 intelligence.
01:31:37.740 That's just
01:31:38.080 man against
01:31:38.520 man.
01:31:39.080 And we're
01:31:39.440 already at
01:31:39.700 the point
01:31:39.960 where AI
01:31:41.320 scientists will
01:31:41.820 admit they
01:31:42.280 do not know
01:31:43.080 how the
01:31:44.020 current level
01:31:44.940 of AI
01:31:45.320 thinks.
01:31:45.680 Even the
01:31:46.000 narrow AI
01:31:46.500 that we
01:31:46.820 have in
01:31:47.020 our pocket
01:31:47.380 with Siri
01:31:47.840 or on our
01:31:48.420 countertop
01:31:48.880 with Alexa.
01:31:50.080 When you talk
01:31:50.500 about the
01:31:50.680 advanced AI
01:31:51.480 and you put
01:31:52.420 data in
01:31:52.940 and an
01:31:53.360 inference or
01:31:54.000 an answer
01:31:54.520 comes out
01:31:54.860 the other
01:31:55.140 end,
01:31:55.760 they do
01:31:56.160 not know
01:31:56.520 how A
01:31:56.860 went to
01:31:57.180 B.
01:31:57.600 They cannot
01:31:58.080 tell you
01:31:58.500 how the
01:31:58.960 AI,
01:31:59.600 the thought
01:31:59.920 process
01:32:00.280 that I
01:32:00.540 went through
01:32:00.980 to come
01:32:01.240 to that
01:32:01.480 conclusion.
01:32:02.120 It's called
01:32:02.340 an algorithmic
01:32:03.340 black box.
01:32:04.460 DARPA just
01:32:04.940 spent $6.5
01:32:05.900 million over
01:32:06.400 at Oregon
01:32:07.000 University to
01:32:07.880 try to shine
01:32:08.440 a light a
01:32:08.840 little bit to
01:32:09.240 try to figure
01:32:09.580 out how
01:32:09.860 these things
01:32:10.220 are thinking.
01:32:11.340 So it's
01:32:11.820 totally
01:32:12.020 incomprehensible
01:32:12.860 as the
01:32:13.500 founder of
01:32:13.880 Skype said.
01:32:14.940 We can't
01:32:15.320 control it.
01:32:17.400 There's two
01:32:17.960 camps.
01:32:18.460 There's a
01:32:18.700 Ray Kurzweil
01:32:19.240 camp that
01:32:19.740 thinks again,
01:32:20.520 great boon
01:32:20.980 for humanity
01:32:21.660 will bring us
01:32:22.540 closer.
01:32:23.380 Yay.
01:32:24.860 Did you talk
01:32:25.460 to him?
01:32:26.140 No, I wasn't
01:32:27.080 able to speak
01:32:27.460 to Ray.
01:32:28.180 No.
01:32:28.880 But I think
01:32:29.500 the camp is
01:32:30.080 going to be
01:32:30.520 burn all
01:32:31.340 witches.
01:32:31.860 It's going
01:32:32.260 to be
01:32:32.420 something bad.
01:32:33.520 I think
01:32:33.760 so, too.
01:32:35.880 I've talked
01:32:36.480 to Ray a
01:32:36.860 couple of
01:32:37.220 times, and
01:32:37.920 he doesn't
01:32:41.880 believe in
01:32:42.200 God, so he
01:32:42.600 doesn't believe
01:32:42.980 in a soul.
01:32:43.680 He believes
01:32:44.680 that we are
01:32:45.160 just an
01:32:45.540 algorithm.
01:32:46.420 You know
01:32:46.620 what I mean?
01:32:47.220 We're just
01:32:47.900 a collection
01:32:48.500 of synopsis
01:32:49.320 that happens
01:32:49.860 so I can
01:32:50.300 download you
01:32:51.040 and the
01:32:51.280 human body
01:32:51.760 is nothing.
01:32:52.780 It's just
01:32:53.320 the way you
01:32:53.680 think, and
01:32:54.040 I just don't
01:32:54.920 believe that
01:32:55.480 at all.
01:32:58.180 And so
01:32:58.680 that gives
01:32:59.120 me a
01:33:00.420 little bit
01:33:00.740 of fear
01:33:01.080 because he
01:33:01.600 looks at
01:33:02.940 life completely
01:33:04.000 almost like
01:33:05.220 an alien
01:33:05.640 in some
01:33:06.180 ways.
01:33:07.400 And too
01:33:08.720 many of
01:33:09.180 his answers
01:33:09.760 to me
01:33:10.300 have been,
01:33:11.720 well, it
01:33:13.460 just won't
01:33:13.960 happen that
01:33:14.520 way.
01:33:15.260 Well, I had
01:33:16.340 22 AI
01:33:16.940 researchers that
01:33:17.520 were willing
01:33:17.720 to talk to
01:33:18.120 me, either
01:33:18.660 via phone
01:33:19.520 or via
01:33:20.100 email.
01:33:21.120 None of
01:33:21.780 them were
01:33:23.380 on the
01:33:23.640 Ray Kurzweil
01:33:24.240 side.
01:33:24.560 They were
01:33:24.760 all very
01:33:25.500 scared of
01:33:25.900 what's
01:33:26.060 going on
01:33:26.400 in this
01:33:26.660 tech because
01:33:27.320 of the
01:33:27.860 fact that
01:33:28.280 if whoever
01:33:30.200 controls this
01:33:31.000 tech controls
01:33:31.520 the world,
01:33:31.980 as Vladimir
01:33:32.280 Putin has
01:33:32.760 stated,
01:33:33.700 everybody's
01:33:34.180 after it.
01:33:34.480 Every country's
01:33:35.000 pursuing it,
01:33:35.620 every corporation's
01:33:36.340 pursuing it,
01:33:36.900 and they're
01:33:37.200 pursuing it
01:33:37.540 without very
01:33:38.180 little safeguards.
01:33:39.120 They just
01:33:39.400 want to be the
01:33:39.800 first one to
01:33:40.260 grab that
01:33:40.580 gold ring.
01:33:42.020 So I
01:33:42.380 question, well,
01:33:43.160 is there any
01:33:43.980 path out of
01:33:45.300 this?
01:33:46.340 They said, well,
01:33:46.940 there's a small
01:33:47.440 camp where there's
01:33:48.920 99 researchers just
01:33:50.260 pursuing hell-bent to
01:33:51.580 get to that tech
01:33:52.360 first.
01:33:53.080 There's a small
01:33:53.720 percentage of
01:33:54.280 them that are
01:33:55.180 pursuing the
01:33:55.540 harder path,
01:33:56.240 more expensive
01:33:57.080 path, unfortunately,
01:33:58.020 which is to
01:33:58.460 try to create the
01:33:59.540 first friendly AI,
01:34:00.820 an AI that's
01:34:01.480 sympathetic, that's
01:34:02.220 empathetic to us,
01:34:03.140 because we may
01:34:04.200 need eventually
01:34:04.780 somebody in our
01:34:06.320 back pocket like
01:34:07.220 an AI that likes
01:34:08.080 us, that when a
01:34:09.020 malignant AI arises,
01:34:10.440 which it will, we
01:34:11.620 have somebody to be
01:34:12.580 our champion.
01:34:13.200 So I thought, well,
01:34:13.660 how do you do
01:34:14.000 that?
01:34:14.100 How do you have a
01:34:15.620 moral compass in a
01:34:16.540 computer?
01:34:17.520 And they told me
01:34:18.220 some of the ways
01:34:18.900 that are being
01:34:20.780 done.
01:34:21.060 So I ended up
01:34:22.880 putting that in
01:34:23.200 the book.
01:34:23.800 Okay, so let's
01:34:24.260 talk about that.
01:34:24.880 Let's talk about
01:34:25.260 the story and the
01:34:26.300 book.
01:34:26.540 We're going to
01:34:26.760 take one minute
01:34:27.320 break and then
01:34:28.040 back with James
01:34:28.820 Rollins.
01:34:29.340 The name of the
01:34:30.160 book is Crucible.
01:34:32.480 Really important to
01:34:33.640 read.
01:34:34.260 If you want to see
01:34:36.040 over the horizon,
01:34:36.900 see the things we
01:34:37.600 should be talking
01:34:38.320 about and reading
01:34:39.020 about and thinking
01:34:40.160 about, read this
01:34:42.280 book, Crucible by
01:34:43.480 James Rollins.
01:34:44.700 Our sponsor this
01:34:46.920 half hour is
01:34:48.020 Relief Factor.
01:34:50.400 Relief Factor is
01:34:52.180 something I've been
01:34:53.000 taking for about a
01:34:54.560 year now.
01:34:55.380 And I will tell
01:34:56.580 you, I've had a
01:34:57.540 some sort of a
01:34:59.260 relapse lately.
01:35:01.940 And this week was
01:35:03.200 just this weekend
01:35:05.020 was just horrible,
01:35:06.340 horrible.
01:35:07.100 Today, I feel
01:35:08.240 good.
01:35:09.580 And I don't know
01:35:11.680 how it comes and
01:35:12.520 goes.
01:35:12.800 I don't know why
01:35:13.720 it does and hits
01:35:14.800 me this way
01:35:15.780 sometimes.
01:35:16.220 But I will tell
01:35:17.720 you, it was
01:35:18.320 always like this
01:35:19.740 before I started
01:35:20.760 taking Relief Factor.
01:35:22.200 I want you to
01:35:23.020 try Relief Factor.
01:35:24.360 Try it.
01:35:24.780 It's $20.
01:35:25.640 It's one of those
01:35:26.600 things that little
01:35:28.400 risk, huge reward.
01:35:30.500 If it doesn't work,
01:35:31.820 you're out $20.
01:35:32.600 If it does, you get
01:35:34.620 your life back.
01:35:35.540 It's Relief Factor.
01:35:36.640 I want you to call
01:35:37.200 them now at
01:35:37.740 800-500-8384.
01:35:40.000 800-500-8384.
01:35:44.020 Or you can go to
01:35:44.780 relieffactor.com.
01:35:47.120 We break for 10
01:35:48.040 seconds.
01:35:48.460 Station ID.
01:36:03.120 So, James, when you
01:36:03.920 start writing a book
01:36:04.620 like this, you do
01:36:05.280 the research.
01:36:06.000 And is this
01:36:06.360 something that you
01:36:07.100 are really passionate
01:36:09.960 about?
01:36:10.500 Do you write
01:36:11.000 stories that you're
01:36:11.660 like, I think this
01:36:12.900 is a real concern?
01:36:14.720 Well, as a writer,
01:36:15.600 I'm always looking
01:36:16.600 for that story
01:36:17.280 where, you know,
01:36:18.100 where is science
01:36:19.020 headed?
01:36:19.580 What's around the
01:36:20.400 horizon?
01:36:21.020 I'm looking for
01:36:21.400 the stories that
01:36:22.260 scare me.
01:36:23.520 And me as a writer,
01:36:24.520 it's one way of me
01:36:25.580 of maybe assuaging
01:36:27.920 some of that fear,
01:36:29.320 you know, put it on
01:36:29.840 paper, get it out
01:36:30.520 of my head.
01:36:31.180 Right.
01:36:31.500 But it also gives
01:36:32.020 me an opportunity
01:36:32.600 because I have a lot
01:36:33.440 of contacts in DARPA
01:36:34.200 and various institutes
01:36:34.960 to find out, you
01:36:35.420 know, let's pull
01:36:36.320 outside the curtain
01:36:36.820 a little bit.
01:36:37.500 You know, at the
01:36:37.740 end of my book,
01:36:38.200 I have a what's
01:36:39.960 where I tell you
01:36:40.400 exactly where all
01:36:41.020 of this came from
01:36:41.680 and if you want
01:36:42.120 some breadcrumbs to
01:36:43.560 follow if you want
01:36:44.320 to.
01:36:45.560 Because this, I got
01:36:47.320 terrified after talking
01:36:48.460 to these AI techs.
01:36:49.340 They were not
01:36:50.100 reassuring at all
01:36:50.980 about where we're
01:36:51.500 headed.
01:36:52.160 They're scared and
01:36:53.100 they scared the
01:36:54.320 bejesus out of me.
01:36:56.040 So I knew I wanted
01:36:57.180 to write that novel.
01:36:58.120 But as a cautionary
01:36:59.020 tale, yes, it's a
01:36:59.560 rollercoaster ride.
01:37:00.460 I'm going to, I mean,
01:37:00.940 I burn most of
01:37:01.620 Paris down.
01:37:02.580 I fire, firefights
01:37:04.020 through catacombs.
01:37:04.440 Well, they're already
01:37:04.620 in a hurry because
01:37:05.240 they're already doing
01:37:05.880 that.
01:37:07.280 I had to write this
01:37:08.080 book fast before
01:37:08.860 that happened.
01:37:09.540 Right.
01:37:10.200 And so I figured
01:37:11.380 after hearing,
01:37:12.800 especially the
01:37:13.160 two gentlemen that
01:37:14.060 said that were
01:37:14.520 already there, is I
01:37:16.160 better write this
01:37:16.600 now because in three
01:37:17.480 years I might not be
01:37:18.260 able to write this.
01:37:19.280 Back three books
01:37:20.140 ago I wrote a book
01:37:21.360 that dealt with
01:37:22.320 genetically engineering
01:37:23.520 humans.
01:37:24.020 And I asked my
01:37:24.560 little team of
01:37:25.600 scientists that were
01:37:26.200 willing to talk to
01:37:26.760 me and said,
01:37:27.020 well, who would
01:37:27.980 genetically alter
01:37:28.840 embryos?
01:37:29.640 Who would try to
01:37:30.400 forever change the
01:37:31.900 inheritable gene pool
01:37:32.860 of humanity?
01:37:33.820 And they were all
01:37:34.200 like the Chinese.
01:37:35.420 So I wrote that book
01:37:36.080 three years ago about
01:37:36.720 the Chinese altering
01:37:37.600 human babies.
01:37:38.280 They're doing it now.
01:37:38.680 And then what
01:37:39.220 happened?
01:37:40.080 Yeah.
01:37:40.300 So my fear is that
01:37:41.220 I've written this
01:37:41.740 book today.
01:37:42.560 Yeah.
01:37:42.920 You know, what's it
01:37:43.340 going to look like in
01:37:43.780 three years?
01:37:44.320 We'll be all
01:37:45.860 questioning, you know,
01:37:46.600 what it means to
01:37:47.300 share this planet
01:37:47.880 with this alien
01:37:48.980 intelligence.
01:37:49.620 Um, how did you
01:37:52.320 develop the, uh, and
01:37:55.020 why it's almost a Dan
01:37:56.460 Brown kind of approach
01:37:58.780 except Dan Brown kind
01:38:00.560 of takes history and
01:38:01.680 the leads you down
01:38:03.220 this path where it
01:38:05.220 is an ancient secret.
01:38:06.460 Um, and it's the
01:38:08.240 Catholic church and
01:38:09.240 yada, yada.
01:38:10.300 You're, why did you
01:38:12.000 select the witches?
01:38:13.040 Is it just because of
01:38:14.140 that?
01:38:14.360 And how did you weave
01:38:15.180 that story in?
01:38:16.060 Well, it starts in
01:38:16.780 the past again, just
01:38:18.000 the beginning of this
01:38:19.380 book, there's a, one of
01:38:20.320 the characters, Monk is
01:38:21.140 flipping a coin in the
01:38:22.380 air and his, he's got a
01:38:23.820 prosthetic that's so
01:38:24.740 sensitive.
01:38:25.280 He's able to predict how
01:38:26.440 that coin will land.
01:38:27.560 He does it basically to
01:38:30.040 cheap drinks out of a
01:38:31.200 bar.
01:38:31.560 So that's what tech is
01:38:32.700 used for, for him.
01:38:33.700 And so in this book, I
01:38:34.980 was trying to shine a
01:38:36.180 light on the fact that,
01:38:37.120 you know, right now
01:38:37.640 there's a deep trench
01:38:38.700 between science and
01:38:39.500 religion.
01:38:40.360 Uh, but in the past it
01:38:42.120 was not that way.
01:38:43.200 And, uh, sort of a
01:38:44.240 theme of a lot of my
01:38:44.860 novels is trying to
01:38:45.720 blur that line between
01:38:46.560 science and religion is
01:38:47.900 looking for that common
01:38:48.660 ground.
01:38:49.240 You know, this, I
01:38:50.520 could, after talking to
01:38:51.620 these AI researchers, I
01:38:53.100 probably could have
01:38:53.600 written a nonfiction book
01:38:54.660 about AI, but I wanted
01:38:56.460 to do a fiction book
01:38:57.220 because it allows me to
01:38:58.700 explore a lot of the
01:38:59.580 philosophical questions of
01:39:00.660 what's coming up.
01:39:01.580 You know, if we do create
01:39:03.780 this alien intelligence,
01:39:05.440 what does that mean?
01:39:06.180 Does it have a soul?
01:39:06.960 Do we have a
01:39:07.300 responsibility to that?
01:39:08.340 Can we unplug it if it's
01:39:09.680 actually self-aware?
01:39:11.300 Um, so those are the
01:39:11.960 things I can explore in a
01:39:12.820 novel that I can't
01:39:13.900 explore in, in a
01:39:14.960 nonfiction text.
01:39:15.960 So I said to, I met with
01:39:17.440 an ethicist, um, who was
01:39:19.880 talking about how AI, uh,
01:39:22.240 robotics, uh, could be
01:39:24.220 used to, uh, let, uh,
01:39:28.180 you know, child predators
01:39:29.640 have their way with these
01:39:30.720 robots and they like to
01:39:31.980 study and see if it, and
01:39:33.420 I said, creepy, very
01:39:34.980 creepy.
01:39:35.320 And I said, uh, well, um,
01:39:39.320 hang on when we hit
01:39:41.300 consciousness and we will
01:39:43.300 know, um, you are the
01:39:45.800 worst kind of slave owner.
01:39:47.880 You are, you've made
01:39:49.700 something and it's your
01:39:52.160 creation.
01:39:52.820 You want to turn AI
01:39:53.920 against you, use it for
01:39:56.780 those kinds of things.
01:39:58.100 And she'd never even
01:39:59.780 thought of it.
01:40:00.660 Hadn't even occurred to
01:40:01.860 her that way because
01:40:03.000 people are not thinking
01:40:04.780 about something that's
01:40:06.360 going to say I'm alive.
01:40:07.940 Yep.
01:40:08.320 And how do you prove
01:40:09.520 that it's not?
01:40:11.220 Well, in this book, I
01:40:12.180 introduce a point of
01:40:14.160 view character.
01:40:14.940 It's a rudimentary AI
01:40:15.820 named Eve that was
01:40:17.040 created by a young
01:40:17.720 researcher on the run
01:40:18.600 with her tech.
01:40:19.820 And throughout the
01:40:20.940 course of the novel, um,
01:40:22.660 we see her trying to
01:40:23.660 sculpt Eve, trying to
01:40:24.960 raise Eve to become
01:40:26.320 something like that's
01:40:27.840 going to be a sympathetic,
01:40:29.400 empathetic AI.
01:40:31.280 And I'm using techniques
01:40:32.400 I learned from IBM and
01:40:33.400 from some of the other
01:40:33.940 researchers, uh, just
01:40:35.340 how they were recommending
01:40:36.980 to sculpt this.
01:40:37.740 So I, so I did that in
01:40:38.660 the book, but, uh, it's
01:40:41.020 like raising a child
01:40:41.780 ultimately.
01:40:42.400 Like question becomes
01:40:43.360 when it comes to creating
01:40:44.380 AI, a nature versus
01:40:45.700 nurture, you know, how
01:40:46.480 much of a, who we are
01:40:47.260 is our genetic code, how
01:40:48.760 much of who we are is the
01:40:49.900 way we're raised.
01:40:50.580 And it's going to be the
01:40:51.200 same with AI.
01:40:52.180 There's a certain amount
01:40:53.360 of, of tech, amount of
01:40:55.120 code you can put into an
01:40:56.280 AI to help maybe lean it
01:40:57.600 towards being, uh,
01:40:59.440 empathetic and sympathetic,
01:41:00.840 but also it's going to be
01:41:02.320 the way you raise it.
01:41:03.140 If you, uh, if you, you
01:41:04.960 have this immature AI
01:41:06.180 that's abused, it's going
01:41:07.860 to go one, uh, one
01:41:08.740 track.
01:41:09.100 If, if you, if you treat
01:41:10.440 in a certain manner, then
01:41:11.240 maybe we can avoid the
01:41:12.760 worst catastrophe by
01:41:13.780 having an AI that's going
01:41:14.700 to help us.
01:41:15.380 Or if you even treat it
01:41:16.540 and you teach it to kill.
01:41:18.320 I mean, the, the idea
01:41:20.060 that we are putting AI
01:41:22.660 in drones, uh, that we
01:41:25.240 are putting them, we
01:41:26.260 want to put them in
01:41:27.240 robots, um, you know,
01:41:29.440 for, for some sort
01:41:31.040 of, you know, uh, drone
01:41:33.360 war is, is terrifying
01:41:36.340 because now there's a
01:41:37.180 big philosophical
01:41:38.120 question among, in the
01:41:39.140 military about who
01:41:40.860 should give the kill
01:41:41.660 order.
01:41:42.640 Should it, you know,
01:41:43.960 cause right now we do
01:41:44.760 have a drones that are
01:41:46.080 very much driven by AI.
01:41:47.720 Right.
01:41:47.960 But right now we still
01:41:48.980 have the kill order
01:41:50.120 coming from a human
01:41:50.960 saying, okay, now
01:41:51.680 shoot where they're,
01:41:52.920 they're, they're willing
01:41:53.680 to give that up.
01:41:54.400 They're willing to give
01:41:55.340 the kill order control
01:41:56.820 over to the AI.
01:41:57.960 That's insane.
01:41:58.880 That's a worrisome
01:41:59.640 moment in history.
01:42:00.740 It's really, really
01:42:02.080 insane.
01:42:03.960 Uh, what was the
01:42:05.020 thing in the, in doing
01:42:06.680 the research that
01:42:07.440 scared you the most?
01:42:08.600 What scared me the
01:42:09.260 most was the fact
01:42:10.760 that we're already
01:42:11.680 seeing AI that are
01:42:14.320 losing control and
01:42:15.100 surprising their
01:42:16.560 creators.
01:42:16.980 That was what
01:42:17.800 startled me the most
01:42:18.520 is the AI that
01:42:19.380 said, you know, we're
01:42:20.340 finding at the, at the
01:42:21.160 fringes where they're
01:42:21.740 really experimenting
01:42:22.440 at the edges like
01:42:23.500 AlphaGo, AlphaGo,
01:42:24.400 Zero.
01:42:25.280 These computers are,
01:42:26.760 these AIs are
01:42:27.540 surprising their
01:42:28.700 creators.
01:42:29.780 And to quote one of
01:42:30.660 the researchers, they're
01:42:31.620 doing unexpected
01:42:32.480 things.
01:42:33.320 Did you see the story
01:42:34.480 about Microsoft?
01:42:35.860 They, they shut the
01:42:37.060 program down.
01:42:37.820 They had two programs
01:42:38.640 talking to each other
01:42:39.680 and writing.
01:42:40.740 And in the one, they
01:42:41.860 were speaking in a
01:42:42.880 secret language.
01:42:43.800 Yes.
01:42:44.220 And within just a few
01:42:45.340 minutes, they developed
01:42:46.400 their own language and
01:42:47.520 no researcher understood
01:42:48.740 what they were even
01:42:49.320 talking about.
01:42:50.060 And when the
01:42:50.440 researchers asked the
01:42:51.400 AI, can you please
01:42:52.280 translate your
01:42:53.080 conversation for us?
01:42:54.240 They said, no, they
01:42:56.540 refused to translate
01:42:57.840 it.
01:42:58.320 Yep.
01:42:58.420 So that's just think
01:42:59.480 about that right there.
01:43:00.440 And they, and
01:43:00.860 Microsoft stopped it
01:43:02.180 and they, they put a
01:43:03.260 press release out.
01:43:04.260 No, it's just because
01:43:05.040 it had run its course
01:43:05.920 and we, no, I did
01:43:07.260 really, really you're
01:43:09.240 what, what scientist
01:43:10.640 isn't, isn't interested
01:43:12.320 in finding out more
01:43:13.480 about a new language.
01:43:14.880 You shut that down
01:43:15.800 because it scared the
01:43:16.820 hell out of you.
01:43:17.540 Exactly.
01:43:18.760 James, it's always good
01:43:20.220 to have you on.
01:43:21.120 Thank you.
01:43:21.720 Cheery note.
01:43:22.340 On that cheery note,
01:43:23.200 this is a great book
01:43:24.680 everyone should read
01:43:26.220 is called Crucible.
01:43:27.720 It's a thriller, but
01:43:29.200 it is faction, not
01:43:30.940 fiction.
01:43:31.420 It's loaded with
01:43:32.440 facts.
01:43:33.340 And as he said, at
01:43:34.500 the end, it gives
01:43:35.660 you all of the things
01:43:36.900 of what's true, what's
01:43:37.920 not, where to find
01:43:38.700 it.
01:43:38.920 If you are interested
01:43:39.680 in that, educate
01:43:41.100 yourself and have a
01:43:42.020 good time doing it
01:43:43.180 with Crucible by James
01:43:44.580 Rollins, open and in
01:43:46.120 bookstores now.
01:43:46.940 You're listening to
01:43:49.100 Glenn Beck.
01:43:51.360 We are living in a
01:43:52.460 time where people
01:43:55.100 say that I feel
01:43:56.500 unsafe and they
01:43:57.600 don't mean that they
01:43:58.440 feel unsafe.
01:43:59.340 And I think we need
01:44:00.020 to change that
01:44:00.620 language.
01:44:01.540 You know, you're
01:44:02.240 unsafe.
01:44:02.860 That means somebody
01:44:03.640 is trying to
01:44:04.780 physically hurt you,
01:44:05.880 not somebody is
01:44:06.760 saying words that
01:44:07.500 you don't like.
01:44:08.920 You should never
01:44:10.100 feel unsafe in your
01:44:11.160 own home.
01:44:11.680 And that's where
01:44:12.480 simply safe comes

01:45:02.560 I want to thank you
01:45:04.160 so much for listening
01:45:04.840 to the program.
01:45:06.020 I want to have a
01:45:07.860 kind of a personal
01:45:08.700 one-on-one
01:45:09.320 conversation with you
01:45:10.440 here about the
01:45:12.020 the way I feel
01:45:13.940 right now.
01:45:16.100 I know feelings
01:45:18.380 don't matter but
01:45:19.840 this this is if
01:45:23.220 you're a long-time
01:45:23.720 listener of the
01:45:24.200 program I think this
01:45:25.060 is important.
01:45:26.500 I have talked to you
01:45:27.680 for a long time and
01:45:28.800 I can lay things out
01:45:31.540 for you the way
01:45:32.260 things I think will
01:45:33.600 go.
01:45:33.920 I have a pretty
01:45:36.380 decent track record.
01:45:37.360 I get a lot of
01:45:37.880 stuff wrong but I
01:45:38.860 also get a few of
01:45:40.440 the big ones really
01:45:41.500 shockingly right and
01:45:43.960 they're usually the
01:45:44.560 ones that everybody
01:45:45.200 says don't worry
01:45:46.040 about.
01:45:49.960 I have a growing
01:45:53.340 sense of urgency
01:45:54.920 urgency and James and
01:45:57.200 I were just talking
01:45:57.880 off air as he was
01:45:59.300 leaving.
01:45:59.820 He said Glenn I
01:46:00.460 I got to show you
01:46:02.380 the letter I have
01:46:03.960 about this AI
01:46:05.560 technology that they
01:46:06.820 think is going to be
01:46:08.700 revealed in the next
01:46:10.800 eight to twelve
01:46:11.820 months.
01:46:12.800 When AI has been
01:46:15.320 developed and is
01:46:16.280 unleashed it literally
01:46:18.080 is whoever has it
01:46:19.700 rules the world and
01:46:21.040 it may not be on day
01:46:22.860 number one but it
01:46:25.500 will play twelve
01:46:27.660 dimensional chess and
01:46:29.740 we will be playing
01:46:30.660 checkers and and we
01:46:34.020 have to be very clear
01:46:35.940 on a few things and
01:46:37.620 those things the bill
01:46:38.760 of rights has never
01:46:40.360 been more important
01:46:41.360 than it will be in
01:46:43.100 the next five years.
01:46:45.080 You have certain
01:46:46.800 inalienable rights.
01:46:48.440 For instance right
01:46:49.900 now the Arkansas
01:46:50.920 House of
01:46:52.140 Representatives is
01:46:54.060 is voting to
01:46:55.700 ban forced
01:46:57.100 microchipping of
01:46:58.640 workers.
01:47:00.680 Now I want you
01:47:02.120 I want you to I
01:47:03.600 want you to think
01:47:04.080 about that.
01:47:05.280 They had to have
01:47:07.260 a bill and
01:47:09.340 write a law that
01:47:11.220 would ban
01:47:11.840 employers from
01:47:12.900 requiring an
01:47:14.100 implant as a
01:47:15.380 condition of
01:47:16.140 employment.
01:47:17.300 It would only
01:47:18.520 allow people be to
01:47:19.740 be microchipped if
01:47:21.100 they give written
01:47:22.040 consent and the
01:47:23.320 employers would be
01:47:24.100 responsible for the
01:47:24.980 cost of implanting and
01:47:26.280 removing the chip.
01:47:27.600 A Wisconsin company
01:47:29.280 did this in 2017.
01:47:30.980 They microchipped
01:47:32.060 employees that agreed
01:47:33.560 to have the chip
01:47:34.320 implanted and it
01:47:36.520 allowed people to
01:47:37.420 open doors and
01:47:38.440 buy snacks and
01:47:40.140 and everything else.
01:47:41.460 the legislation
01:47:43.060 is is just in
01:47:46.280 anticipation of
01:47:47.700 companies doing
01:47:48.460 this.
01:47:49.480 Now we know that
01:47:50.280 the Chinese are
01:47:51.220 already doing this
01:47:52.200 and it is
01:47:54.300 terrifying.
01:47:56.020 You you have to
01:47:57.900 know that we are
01:47:59.000 in a new era
01:48:01.340 and it is called
01:48:03.360 surveillance capitalism
01:48:05.020 and I would call
01:48:07.640 it everything in
01:48:09.160 1984 the book
01:48:10.520 1984 surveillance
01:48:12.700 capitalism is your
01:48:14.540 life is going to be
01:48:15.560 made so easy because
01:48:17.700 everything you do
01:48:19.300 will be surveilled and
01:48:21.400 everything will be
01:48:22.420 running on the back
01:48:23.400 of this 5G network
01:48:25.040 and eventually AI
01:48:27.300 once AI has access
01:48:30.440 to all phone calls
01:48:32.680 you worry about the
01:48:33.640 NSA there's not
01:48:35.360 enough time to
01:48:37.020 listen to all phone
01:48:38.280 calls and read all
01:48:39.600 text and every
01:48:40.820 keystroke but the
01:48:43.060 NSA saves it but
01:48:45.680 with AI and
01:48:47.280 especially with
01:48:48.740 quantum computing
01:48:50.860 which is also around
01:48:52.120 the corner it can
01:48:53.900 calculate and listen
01:48:55.460 and do everything
01:48:57.040 that man cannot do
01:48:58.860 the reason why I
01:49:03.200 bring this up is
01:49:03.820 because we have to
01:49:05.060 educate ourselves on
01:49:06.980 this and I know it
01:49:08.200 sounds like flying
01:49:09.020 cars but please hear
01:49:10.860 me this is coming
01:49:13.180 the world will be
01:49:15.720 completely different
01:49:17.060 by 2025
01:49:18.100 completely different
01:49:20.240 by 2025
01:49:21.120 as different as
01:49:22.900 America has
01:49:24.000 seen changes
01:49:25.860 as different as we
01:49:26.660 are from the year
01:49:27.900 2000 to the year
01:49:30.220 2019
01:49:31.400 that kind of
01:49:33.680 change at bare
01:49:35.220 minimum will be
01:49:36.960 felt in the next
01:49:38.100 five to six years
01:49:39.620 so please don't
01:49:42.880 dismiss this
01:49:43.700 but what we can
01:49:46.320 concentrate on right
01:49:47.540 now is a fight
01:49:49.340 for life
01:49:50.380 liberty
01:49:51.780 and the pursuit
01:49:53.520 of happiness
01:49:54.100 happiness
01:49:54.240 so your own
01:49:56.420 kind of
01:49:57.380 chart your own
01:49:58.700 course get out
01:50:00.360 of the thumb
01:50:01.440 of someone else
01:50:02.520 that's your pursuit
01:50:03.480 of happiness
01:50:04.160 we're going to show
01:50:06.180 you tonight a way
01:50:07.360 to do that
01:50:08.220 and tonight we're
01:50:09.780 going to show you
01:50:10.360 how we could save
01:50:11.340 the government
01:50:11.900 and get out
01:50:13.660 of debt
01:50:14.740 immediately erase
01:50:16.700 the national
01:50:17.300 deficit
01:50:17.720 and we can do
01:50:19.760 that just by
01:50:20.980 privatizing some
01:50:22.460 of the biggest
01:50:22.940 agencies
01:50:23.600 like TSA
01:50:24.880 and we'll take
01:50:26.260 you through that
01:50:26.940 tonight we should
01:50:27.660 not be having
01:50:28.280 this discussion
01:50:29.120 of
01:50:30.220 of
01:50:31.920 the shutdown
01:50:32.980 we should be
01:50:34.100 talking about
01:50:34.800 how can we
01:50:35.400 change things
01:50:36.280 to match
01:50:37.080 tomorrow
01:50:37.720 so that's
01:50:41.100 tonight
01:50:41.480 liberty
01:50:44.400 we need to be
01:50:46.520 able to talk
01:50:47.280 about
01:50:47.820 the right
01:50:50.020 to be able
01:50:50.720 to speak
01:50:51.500 and to think
01:50:52.680 and to have
01:50:53.500 your voice
01:50:54.020 heard
01:50:54.480 this is something
01:50:56.500 we're going to
01:50:56.860 cover tomorrow
01:50:57.640 tomorrow
01:50:58.560 blaze media
01:50:59.980 and blaze tv
01:51:01.800 live
01:51:02.680 is going to do
01:51:04.220 a two hour
01:51:05.340 no commercial
01:51:07.180 broadcast
01:51:08.340 it will not
01:51:09.440 be on television
01:51:10.280 you will only
01:51:11.480 be able to get
01:51:12.160 it by
01:51:13.400 I think
01:51:14.260 our facebook
01:51:15.080 page
01:51:15.920 and maybe
01:51:17.480 youtube
01:51:18.100 I'm not sure
01:51:19.000 but it will
01:51:20.540 also be
01:51:21.260 on blaze tv
01:51:22.760 where you will
01:51:23.600 get everything
01:51:24.140 and we invite
01:51:24.940 you to subscribe
01:51:25.700 now
01:51:26.240 what we're doing
01:51:26.960 is media
01:51:28.460 meltdown
01:51:29.280 this is
01:51:31.500 the beginning
01:51:32.580 I hope
01:51:33.140 of something
01:51:33.680 that is a
01:51:35.200 ongoing
01:51:35.800 conversation
01:51:36.640 it will be
01:51:37.480 between you
01:51:38.100 and I
01:51:38.560 tomorrow
01:51:39.840 we're bringing
01:51:40.400 in all of
01:51:41.740 the big hosts
01:51:42.460 that can come
01:51:43.440 in and we're
01:51:44.160 checking in
01:51:44.760 with others
01:51:45.300 but we have
01:51:46.480 30 different
01:51:47.400 hosts
01:51:47.900 and we're
01:51:49.840 going to have
01:51:50.240 the conversation
01:51:50.980 about the
01:51:51.920 media
01:51:52.340 and where
01:51:53.240 it is
01:51:53.940 today
01:51:54.500 and how
01:51:56.460 if they are
01:51:57.100 willing to
01:51:57.840 make things
01:51:58.680 up
01:51:59.180 like they
01:52:00.320 did last
01:52:01.080 week
01:52:01.480 and willing
01:52:02.560 to destroy
01:52:03.440 a kid
01:52:04.300 when the
01:52:05.440 evidence of
01:52:06.280 video shows
01:52:07.240 none of
01:52:08.180 that is
01:52:08.700 true
01:52:09.160 what
01:52:10.060 won't
01:52:10.820 they do
01:52:11.640 in 2020
01:52:13.540 if
01:52:17.480 the media
01:52:19.100 decides
01:52:20.340 that they
01:52:21.440 have to
01:52:22.020 be the
01:52:22.620 fact checker
01:52:23.500 for everyone
01:52:24.280 and they
01:52:26.040 convince
01:52:26.740 Facebook
01:52:27.700 and Microsoft
01:52:28.700 and Google
01:52:29.740 that they're
01:52:31.280 going to be
01:52:31.920 the ones
01:52:32.500 that provide
01:52:33.180 the blue
01:52:34.100 or green
01:52:34.720 check mark
01:52:35.440 how do
01:52:37.620 they decide
01:52:38.200 that
01:52:38.540 I can't
01:52:39.820 tell you
01:52:40.320 that CNN
01:52:41.320 is a
01:52:42.660 wholly
01:52:43.080 unreliable
01:52:43.840 source
01:52:44.360 I can
01:52:45.760 tell you
01:52:46.220 that CNN
01:52:46.840 has an
01:52:48.000 agenda
01:52:48.320 on this
01:52:48.880 or that
01:52:49.380 and they
01:52:50.100 see things
01:52:50.740 differently
01:52:51.320 and at
01:52:53.040 times
01:52:53.520 they are
01:52:54.800 wholly
01:52:55.840 inaccurate
01:52:56.580 and
01:52:57.380 intentionally
01:52:58.140 like they
01:52:58.780 were last
01:52:59.280 week
01:52:59.560 but sometimes
01:53:00.920 they get
01:53:01.260 it right
01:53:01.740 so should
01:53:03.460 we if
01:53:04.360 we were
01:53:04.780 the ones
01:53:05.180 in charge
01:53:05.760 should we
01:53:06.560 ban
01:53:07.260 CNN
01:53:07.740 or say
01:53:09.040 that they're
01:53:09.520 an awful
01:53:10.280 news outlet
01:53:12.220 or should
01:53:12.700 we say
01:53:13.160 be cautious
01:53:14.020 be cautious
01:53:15.900 be aware
01:53:16.580 and that's
01:53:18.000 what should
01:53:18.300 be said
01:53:18.740 for the
01:53:19.080 right
01:53:19.360 and the
01:53:19.840 left
01:53:20.220 but it
01:53:21.480 shouldn't
01:53:21.720 be something
01:53:22.140 new
01:53:22.580 be cautious
01:53:24.160 when Microsoft
01:53:25.880 came out
01:53:26.440 with their
01:53:26.800 red shield
01:53:27.520 last week
01:53:28.380 and they
01:53:28.700 put the
01:53:29.020 blaze
01:53:29.600 under a
01:53:31.720 red shield
01:53:32.240 saying
01:53:32.660 we need
01:53:33.600 to protect
01:53:34.080 you from
01:53:34.480 this
01:53:34.700 because
01:53:34.980 we're
01:53:35.180 not sure
01:53:35.620 how accurate
01:53:36.940 they are
01:53:37.700 I take
01:53:39.680 that as
01:53:40.020 a badge
01:53:40.360 of honor
01:53:40.760 it means
01:53:43.000 that I
01:53:43.380 don't agree
01:53:44.060 with Microsoft
01:53:44.940 I don't
01:53:46.920 agree with
01:53:47.520 the mainstream
01:53:48.220 media
01:53:48.940 I won't
01:53:50.220 feed that
01:53:50.980 to you
01:53:51.520 I'm an
01:53:53.020 independent
01:53:53.580 thinker
01:53:54.220 and I
01:53:54.780 don't agree
01:53:55.320 with the
01:53:55.700 Bill and
01:53:56.040 Melinda
01:53:56.380 Gates
01:53:56.720 Foundation
01:53:57.360 Amen
01:53:58.600 thank you
01:53:59.920 I'd like
01:54:01.100 that red
01:54:01.700 shield
01:54:02.080 from you
01:54:02.580 please
01:54:02.960 Microsoft
01:54:03.460 unfortunately
01:54:05.440 what that
01:54:06.360 shield
01:54:06.800 will do
01:54:07.440 eventually
01:54:08.040 the
01:54:08.460 algorithms
01:54:09.060 will start
01:54:09.980 suppressing
01:54:10.880 voices
01:54:12.060 like mine
01:54:13.180 and like
01:54:13.840 yours
01:54:14.300 so what
01:54:15.580 do we
01:54:15.780 do
01:54:16.160 that's
01:54:17.700 the subject
01:54:18.400 tomorrow
01:54:19.100 as we
01:54:19.940 begin this
01:54:20.640 national
01:54:21.060 conversation
01:54:21.720 and we
01:54:22.960 believe in
01:54:23.580 it so
01:54:23.920 much
01:54:24.280 no
01:54:25.040 commercials
01:54:25.560 it's
01:54:26.960 raw
01:54:27.400 and you
01:54:28.180 can find
01:54:28.820 it
01:54:29.100 tomorrow
01:54:29.860 at
01:54:30.600 blazetv.com
01:54:32.340 slash
01:54:32.820 back
01:54:33.200 you'll
01:54:33.840 also be
01:54:34.220 able to
01:54:34.480 find it
01:54:34.760 on our
01:54:35.040 Facebook
01:54:35.400 page
01:54:35.880 starts
01:54:36.340 6 p.m.
01:54:37.560 Eastern
01:54:38.000 please
01:54:39.220 please
01:54:39.840 if you
01:54:40.660 want to
01:54:41.040 be a part
01:54:41.440 of the
01:54:41.720 solution
01:54:42.220 make sure
01:54:43.280 you join
01:54:43.800 us
01:54:44.140 tomorrow
01:54:45.180 and the
01:54:46.920 last one
01:54:47.460 is life
01:54:48.200 life
01:54:48.780 liberty
01:54:49.340 and the
01:54:49.940 pursuit
01:54:50.220 of happiness
01:54:50.760 we are
01:54:52.800 so devaluing
01:54:53.880 life right
01:54:54.560 now that
01:54:55.080 people actually
01:54:56.120 cheered
01:54:57.020 for the
01:54:58.460 passing of
01:54:59.500 a partial
01:55:00.320 birth abortion
01:55:01.180 law
01:55:01.620 people are
01:55:03.400 actually
01:55:03.840 cheering
01:55:04.720 cheering
01:55:05.900 when people
01:55:07.640 say my
01:55:08.720 first abortion
01:55:09.480 was really
01:55:10.260 my best
01:55:11.080 we've
01:55:16.020 changed
01:55:16.680 as people
01:55:17.580 we're going
01:55:21.800 to be
01:55:22.080 debating
01:55:22.460 soon
01:55:23.140 is AI
01:55:24.660 life
01:55:25.480 is that
01:55:26.360 alive
01:55:26.980 I can't
01:55:28.120 tell the
01:55:28.400 difference
01:55:28.680 between
01:55:29.020 something
01:55:29.360 alive
01:55:29.900 and it
01:55:31.500 did we
01:55:32.340 just
01:55:32.560 create
01:55:32.920 life
01:55:33.340 we're
01:55:35.000 going to
01:55:35.320 be
01:55:35.520 worried
01:55:36.020 about
01:55:36.580 AI
01:55:37.040 life
01:55:37.840 and
01:55:39.040 our
01:55:39.460 life
01:55:39.880 under
01:55:40.240 AI
01:55:40.680 but
01:55:40.980 AI
01:55:41.680 will
01:55:42.020 first
01:55:42.520 learn
01:55:43.060 what
01:55:43.440 life
01:55:43.860 is
01:55:44.100 worth
01:55:44.460 from
01:55:44.760 us
01:55:45.140 and
01:55:45.840 if
01:55:46.020 we
01:55:46.280 are
01:55:46.500 killing
01:55:46.860 people
01:55:47.340 like
01:55:47.720 we
01:55:47.940 are
01:55:48.280 as
01:55:50.860 we
01:55:51.040 told you
01:55:51.860 today
01:55:52.380 there
01:55:52.980 is a
01:55:53.520 Native
01:55:54.300 American
01:55:54.880 and I
01:55:55.200 only
01:55:55.300 point out
01:55:55.700 that he's
01:55:56.000 Native
01:55:56.240 American
01:55:56.740 because
01:55:57.080 last week
01:55:57.880 everybody
01:55:58.240 on the
01:55:58.660 left
01:55:58.840 cared
01:55:59.120 about
01:55:59.360 Native
01:55:59.620 Americans
01:56:00.160 he's
01:56:02.120 a father
01:56:02.480 of two
01:56:03.080 he had
01:56:05.540 a stroke
01:56:06.120 on New
01:56:06.620 Year's
01:56:06.920 Eve
01:56:07.220 a week
01:56:09.500 ago
01:56:09.960 after two
01:56:11.060 after two
01:56:11.640 weeks
01:56:11.900 his family
01:56:12.420 is there
01:56:12.900 he's
01:56:13.220 responding
01:56:13.780 with
01:56:14.220 hand
01:56:14.600 signals
01:56:14.940 and
01:56:15.280 moving
01:56:15.760 his
01:56:16.000 feet
01:56:16.300 and
01:56:16.460 everything
01:56:16.720 else
01:56:17.040 the
01:56:18.600 hospital
01:56:19.140 declares
01:56:19.540 him
01:56:19.740 brain
01:56:19.980 dead
01:56:20.720 and
01:56:20.940 no
01:56:21.180 hope
01:56:21.520 and
01:56:22.220 so
01:56:22.540 they
01:56:23.360 leave
01:56:23.940 the
01:56:24.420 ventilator
01:56:25.020 tube
01:56:25.300 in
01:56:25.600 and
01:56:26.900 then
01:56:27.220 they
01:56:27.540 starve
01:56:28.040 him
01:56:28.420 and
01:56:28.940 dehydrate
01:56:29.560 him
01:56:29.860 he is
01:56:31.280 now
01:56:31.480 I think
01:56:31.760 on day
01:56:32.100 14
01:56:32.780 of no
01:56:33.340 fluids
01:56:33.720 and no
01:56:34.260 food
01:56:34.760 and
01:56:35.940 he's
01:56:37.400 starving
01:56:37.700 to death
01:56:38.220 is
01:56:39.160 this
01:56:39.660 who
01:56:40.260 we
01:56:40.500 are
01:56:40.920 I
01:56:43.760 posted
01:56:44.220 how
01:56:44.460 you
01:56:44.640 could
01:56:44.780 help
01:56:45.000 on my
01:56:45.260 Facebook
01:56:45.560 and
01:56:45.880 Twitter
01:56:46.200 so
01:56:46.860 you
01:56:47.020 can
01:56:47.180 go
01:56:47.380 there
01:56:47.700 you
01:56:47.880 can
01:56:48.040 find
01:56:48.280 his
01:56:48.480 GoFundMe
01:56:49.040 page
01:56:49.520 to help
01:56:50.120 pay for
01:56:50.480 the
01:56:50.640 bills
01:56:50.940 because
01:56:51.240 that's
01:56:51.520 what
01:56:51.620 really
01:56:51.900 everybody's
01:56:52.420 worried
01:56:52.700 about
01:56:53.020 they
01:56:53.420 don't
01:56:53.560 care
01:56:53.720 about
01:56:53.940 life
01:56:54.280 they
01:56:54.560 care
01:56:54.740 about
01:56:55.020 how
01:56:55.200 much
01:56:55.360 is
01:56:55.500 going
01:56:55.780 to
01:56:55.880 cost
01:56:56.240 his
01:56:58.280 family
01:56:58.680 is
01:56:58.960 being
01:56:59.200 traumatized
01:56:59.940 and
01:57:00.300 our
01:57:00.620 culture
01:57:01.200 is
01:57:01.560 being
01:57:01.840 lost
01:57:02.320 our
01:57:02.540 culture
01:57:03.020 that
01:57:03.600 believes
01:57:04.220 in
01:57:04.500 the
01:57:04.660 dignity
01:57:05.280 of
01:57:05.860 life
01:57:06.340 is
01:57:06.660 being
01:57:06.920 lost
01:57:07.400 and
01:57:09.780 things
01:57:10.080 are
01:57:10.240 only
01:57:10.480 going
01:57:10.680 to
01:57:10.740 be
01:57:10.880 more
01:57:11.140 confusing
01:57:11.720 from
01:57:12.040 here
01:57:12.380 I
01:57:13.900 feel
01:57:14.360 great
01:57:16.740 urgency
01:57:17.520 to
01:57:19.080 tell
01:57:19.420 you
01:57:19.860 please
01:57:21.720 get
01:57:23.140 out
01:57:23.420 of
01:57:23.640 politics
01:57:24.380 and
01:57:25.480 start
01:57:25.720 talking
01:57:26.040 about

02:00:08.620 and
02:00:09.580 it
02:00:10.180 troubles
02:00:10.620 me
02:00:11.020 what
02:00:11.660 i see
02:00:11.980 taking
02:00:12.300 place
02:00:12.780 and
02:00:13.280 it
02:00:13.420 troubles
02:00:13.700 me
02:00:13.940 when
02:00:14.120 i see
02:00:14.400 racism
02:00:14.900 against
02:00:15.240 white
02:00:15.520 people
02:00:15.940 the
02:00:16.840 argument
02:00:17.200 is
02:00:17.700 that
02:00:18.040 you
02:00:18.300 know
02:00:18.440 that
02:00:18.600 white
02:00:18.860 people
02:00:19.340 can't
02:00:20.040 be
02:00:20.160 victims
02:00:20.520 of
02:00:20.740 racism
02:00:21.200 because
02:00:21.720 racism
02:00:23.260 only
02:00:23.900 applies
02:00:24.500 to
02:00:24.720 people
02:00:24.960 that
02:00:25.120 don't
02:00:25.320 have
02:00:25.500 power
02:00:25.920 and
02:00:26.120 all
02:00:26.300 whites
02:00:26.580 have
02:00:26.760 privilege
02:00:27.200 well
02:00:27.940 that
02:00:28.220 is
02:00:28.540 really
02:00:29.020 i'll
02:00:31.020 say
02:00:31.180 hogwash
02:00:32.060 because
02:00:32.340 i don't
02:00:32.800 want to
02:00:33.080 say
02:00:33.260 another
02:00:33.940 word
02:00:34.360 i think
02:00:35.320 that
02:00:35.740 we
02:00:36.860 need
02:00:37.340 to
02:00:37.560 stand
02:00:38.060 for
02:00:38.480 principles
02:00:39.120 and
02:00:39.720 if
02:00:39.860 the
02:00:39.980 principle
02:00:40.320 is
02:00:40.760 non-discrimination
02:00:41.720 on the
02:00:42.280 base
02:00:42.560 of
02:00:42.780 race
02:00:43.500 gender
02:00:44.300 national
02:00:45.820 origin
02:00:46.380 then it
02:00:47.180 includes
02:00:47.520 everybody
02:00:48.100 non-discrimination
02:00:49.380 has to be
02:00:50.200 against
02:00:50.460 every group
02:00:51.060 and so
02:00:51.400 it
02:00:51.540 can't
02:00:51.740 be
02:00:51.900 one
02:00:52.540 group
02:00:52.820 that
02:00:53.020 is
02:00:53.140 safe
02:00:53.380 to
02:00:53.540 discriminate
02:00:53.960 against
02:00:54.640 you know
02:00:55.200 that
02:00:55.340 they
02:00:55.480 have
02:00:55.680 less
02:00:55.940 rights
02:00:56.400 i think
02:00:57.260 that
02:00:57.680 isn't
02:00:59.440 this
02:01:00.040 what
02:01:00.240 king
02:01:00.820 really
02:01:02.100 was
02:01:02.720 talking
02:01:03.100 about
02:01:03.500 i think
02:01:04.000 so
02:01:04.380 i think
02:01:05.520 so
02:01:05.920 and we
02:01:06.700 have
02:01:06.900 lost
02:01:07.260 this
02:01:07.520 message
02:01:07.980 i mean
02:01:09.020 he's
02:01:09.320 out of
02:01:09.640 vogue
02:01:10.000 nowadays
02:01:10.880 and people
02:01:11.520 would prefer
02:01:12.020 to embrace
02:01:12.540 other leaders
02:01:13.200 that are
02:01:13.600 more
02:01:13.820 divisive
02:01:14.400 and if
02:01:15.500 we
02:01:15.740 don't
02:01:16.200 start
02:01:16.620 to turn
02:01:16.980 things
02:01:17.320 around
02:01:17.680 in
02:01:17.940 america
02:01:18.440 i think
02:01:19.500 that we
02:01:19.960 will see
02:01:20.460 our nation
02:01:20.960 fall
02:01:21.380 and maybe
02:01:21.960 in our
02:01:22.400 lifetimes
02:01:23.020 that's
02:01:24.540 a professor
02:01:25.020 carol
02:01:25.480 swain
02:01:25.940 who is
02:01:26.840 a very
02:01:27.880 deep
02:01:28.200 thinker
02:01:28.640 she is
02:01:29.980 african-american
02:01:30.800 she was
02:01:31.420 beloved
02:01:32.100 by everybody
02:01:33.160 until she
02:01:33.880 came out
02:01:34.300 as a
02:01:34.640 conservative
02:01:35.020 and then
02:01:35.560 all those
02:01:36.260 awards
02:01:36.720 and everything
02:01:37.240 else
02:01:37.680 and accolades
02:01:38.520 went away
02:01:39.180 but her
02:01:40.520 brilliance
02:01:41.180 needs to be
02:01:41.940 heard
