00:00:00.000 You know, you think it's never going to happen to you, but one day it does.
00:00:03.980 All of those times in the movies, seeing somebody get mugged, nothing to prepare you for experiencing it in real life.
00:00:11.040 Because in real life, it's faster, it's closer, it's a lot more confusing than you expect it to be, and it's also terrifying.
00:00:17.180 It's scarier than you imagine.
00:00:20.760 There's no scary music building up to it.
00:00:23.180 So you don't have a soundtrack in your life, you don't get a warning, you don't get a second to think through all of your options.
00:00:28.020 That moment, whatever you have with you is what you have with you.
00:00:32.620 The Burna Launcher matters.
00:00:34.360 It gives you a non-lethal way to respond using kinetic and pepper projectiles
00:00:38.580 that can stop a threat from up to 60 feet away.
00:00:41.540 It allows you to create distance and get yourself out of a bad situation.
00:00:46.120 And it's legal in all 50 states.
00:00:48.700 If you're over 18, you can carry a Burna Launcher.
00:00:51.380 Buy one at a sportsman's warehouse located near you,
00:00:54.080 or you can just go online and find out all about them
00:00:55.840 and get one online at burnabyrna.com slash glenn.

00:01:30.480 This isn't a podcast.
00:01:31.820 This is a movement, and you're part of it, a big part of it.

00:01:44.120 And thanks for standing with us.
00:01:45.380 Now let's get to work.
00:01:53.460 We'll be right back.
00:02:23.460 The fusion of entertainment, enlightenment, and empowerment.
00:02:35.420 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:02:39.320 Glenn Beck is on.
00:02:41.880 Hello, America.
00:02:43.180 I am sorry to say that we have to go through this again.
00:02:45.640 Yet another attempt on the president's life.
00:02:47.780 We're going to talk about the assassin next door.
00:02:52.320 What happened?
00:02:53.460 How did this happen? What does this mean for the future?
00:02:56.460 Give you my perspective and all of the news of the day and talk to people who were there over the weekend.
00:03:02.440 We'll begin here in 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about pre-born.
00:03:05.840 Look how far we have slipped morally in this country when the ability for a mom to aborder a child in the womb is treated as a fundamental American right above right.
00:03:15.140 You know, you look at the left now and the the callous disregard for life.
00:03:22.300 It's not a surprise that this kind of stuff is happening.
00:03:25.300 Ends justify the means.
00:03:26.980 You don't want to have a baby? 1.00
00:03:28.540 Well, you can kill the child. 1.00
00:03:31.520 You know, you think something is wrong, you have a right to kill somebody. 0.99
00:03:35.200 You think that, you know, somebody has a lower quality of life, society, I guess, will decide that we can snuff their life out like it's happening in Canada.
00:03:46.260 This is all connected to one another.
00:03:49.040 we need to reconnect with our humanity and the value of life and pre-born will connect expectant
00:03:56.980 moms with free ultrasounds real support and people who actually care and time and time again
00:04:02.440 when a mom sees that that that's a child and realizes this isn't an abstract issue it's a
00:04:08.480 human life everything can change this april pre-born's goal is to have 11 000 gospel conversations
00:04:14.900 in a pre-born network clinic, trusting God to bring the increase
00:04:19.100 as they just remain faithful to speak.
00:04:21.580 Help make that possible.
00:04:22.560 Would you sponsor an ultrasound?
00:04:23.860 $28 provides one ultrasound. 0.55
00:04:25.780 $140 sponsors five ultrasounds for a mom in crisis.
00:04:29.400 And every dollar helps saves babies and their mothers.
00:04:32.900 And quite honestly, I think us as well, our society.
00:04:36.800 Share the hope of the gospel.
00:04:38.180 Donate pound 250, pound 250.
00:04:41.140 Say the key word, baby.
00:04:42.820 Donate what you can.
00:04:43.740 And preborn.com slash beck, that's preborn.com slash beck, pound 250, sponsored by Preborn.
00:04:51.480 835, Saturday night.
00:04:54.940 That's Eastern time.
00:04:58.320 I'm in Houston.
00:05:01.080 I'm about to give a speech in Houston, Texas.
00:05:06.680 As they are introducing me, my wife leans over and she said, honey, it's happened again.
00:05:13.740 and she hands me her phone.
00:05:17.560 I see that shots had been fired in Washington, D.C.
00:05:24.420 31-year-old man named Cole Thomas Allen from Torrance, California.
00:05:29.880 He rushes a Secret Service checkpoint armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and knives.
00:05:36.760 How did he get them from California all the way?
00:05:40.380 Well, he took a train.
00:05:42.920 He lied.
00:05:43.740 And then he stayed at the hotel.
00:05:46.600 He opened fire.
00:05:47.840 One brave Secret Service officer takes a round to his vest and lives.
00:05:53.380 Allen is tackled.
00:05:55.100 He's taken into custody unarmed.
00:05:57.600 And the dinner is canceled.
00:06:04.660 The president was up on the dais next to the First Lady. 0.94
00:06:09.580 her face, a look of horror on her face as this happens yet again. The president is calm. He is
00:06:18.340 chatting with the head of the White House correspondents, the journalists. I don't know
00:06:25.520 how she feels about the president, but the president calmly gets up and they're saying,
00:06:30.720 get down, Mr. President, get down. And he said, I want to see what's going on. They said, please,
00:06:34.240 Mr. President, get down. He gets down on his knees. She's down next to him. Melania is down.
00:06:39.580 The head of the White House Correspondents' Dinner said,
00:06:44.880 he held my hand while we were down.
00:06:51.780 Everybody was in the line of fire on Saturday, or thought they could be.
00:06:58.240 As we dodged yet another political assassination,
00:07:00.980 this time one of the most symbolic events on the calendar,
00:07:05.020 and one made for history.
00:07:06.840 The president hasn't attended any of these because the press has been so hostile to him his whole career.
00:07:12.920 But he decided, you know what, let's try to make peace.
00:07:17.200 I'm going to go.
00:07:19.120 And this time it wasn't some lone wolf.
00:07:21.960 It wasn't some random lunatic. 0.95
00:07:23.820 It wasn't some crazed madman. 0.99
00:07:25.860 This was calculated. 0.85
00:07:27.440 It was premeditated.
00:07:28.900 And it was a man who had absolutely everything going for him. 0.97
00:07:32.280 and he threw it all away because he truly believed that Donald Trump was a fascist 1.00
00:07:37.800 or a child rapist, a pedophile, you name it, everything that they've said about him on 0.99
00:07:43.440 television, everything the Southern Poverty Law Center tried to say, he believed. 0.97
00:07:53.580 This guy wasn't a basement-dwelling nobody. Cole Allen was a brilliant Caltech graduate,
00:08:01.300 bachelor's in mechanical engineering in 2017 master's in computer science from california
00:08:07.720 state university um he he worked for a while at nasa at jpl an internship he worked as a
00:08:16.040 mechanical engineer built video games on the side he was you know first person shooter games
00:08:22.080 he was a part-time tutor and a teacher at c2 education he was named teacher of the month just
00:08:28.180 in, I think, December of
00:08:29.960 24. Students loved
00:08:32.080 him. Colleagues respected him.
00:08:33.920 No criminal record. Church-going
00:08:35.980 family. Man who thanked his
00:08:37.880 parents and his faith
00:08:39.020 in the manifesto
00:08:42.460 that he sent right
00:08:44.120 before he tried to kill.
00:08:48.240 The friendly federal 0.90
00:08:50.020 assassin.
00:08:54.500 How did this happen? 0.94
00:08:57.140 Well,
00:08:58.180 I think we know.
00:09:00.620 Barack Obama is still a little confused by it.
00:09:02.900 He doesn't know.
00:09:04.440 Social media posts dripping with anti-Trump rage, anti-Christian venom.
00:09:12.320 He donated to Kamala Harris in 2024.
00:09:16.660 He marched in the No Kings anti-Trump protest in California.
00:09:21.220 He fell into a group called the Wide Awakes.
00:09:26.120 i'm going to tell you the story of the wide awakes here today because it's a piece of american
00:09:33.700 history and a very important piece of american history that is rhyming right now again he started
00:09:42.060 talking more and more about fixing the issues of today's world through radical action he bought
00:09:48.340 guns to a handgun and a shotgun he trained at the shooting range religiously his own sister
00:09:54.280 watched it happen and she grew terrified of him. Now she's a journalist. I don't think she's on
00:10:01.400 the Trump train, but she saw it and knew what was happening. And here's where the warnings came in
00:10:08.380 really loud, really clear, really repeated. The family wasn't silent. They saw the radicalization
00:10:15.100 happening in real time. His sister described him to investigators as somebody who made constant
00:10:20.180 radical statements about quote needing to do something she called they came they listened
00:10:27.220 they did nothing the family had previously reported his behavior to law enforcement
00:10:33.040 specifically citing his rhetoric and the frequent trips to the gun range they flagged him but what
00:10:39.320 are they going to do they tried his sister later sat down with secret service and montgomery
00:10:45.560 County Police at their family home in Rockville, laid it all out for them. 0.96
00:10:52.600 But the poison was already in the bloodstream.
00:10:56.400 And what are you going to do?
00:10:59.620 Then came the manifesto.
00:11:03.640 It was about 10 minutes before he opened fire.
00:11:07.380 He emailed a 1,052-word document to his family.
00:11:13.540 I'm not going to read it.
00:11:15.560 but he called himself the friendly federal assassin, and he laid out his rules of engagement.
00:11:22.740 The primary targets, Trump administration officials, ranked from highest to lowest,
00:11:27.260 who he was going to kill. He said, I really feel badly about it. He expressed remorse to his
00:11:34.280 students, his colleagues, his parents, even the hotel staff and any innocent bystanders he knew
00:11:40.240 might be killed. He apologized for having to lie to his family and everybody else saying that he
00:11:45.360 had a job interview in Washington, D.C. He said the act made him want to throw up, but he felt rage
00:11:51.760 because this administration was filled with pedophiles. Where do you get that? 0.97
00:12:00.360 His brother did exactly what a good citizen should do. As soon as he saw the manifesto,
00:12:06.720 he picked up the phone. He called the New London Police Department in Connecticut.
00:12:09.640 He alerted authorities immediately, no hesitation.
00:12:13.240 The family tried again and again to stop it.
00:12:16.620 By the time police were notified, shooting had already happened.
00:12:21.660 But because the brother's action had helped investigators connect the dots fast,
00:12:26.420 that's how he knew who he was right away.
00:12:31.800 How did this happen?
00:12:37.080 And is this one different?
00:12:39.640 he was radicalized the same way our children are being radicalized today
00:12:48.600 not by some foreign terrorist group but by the toxic stew that is american politics in 2026 that
00:12:58.680 is online on media in podcasts the endless media hysteria the online echo chambers rapists they're 0.99
00:13:08.160 all child pedophiles. They're all fascists. And the belief that our political opponents 1.00
00:13:19.000 aren't just wrong, that they're evil. We had a discussion in our morning meeting today.
00:13:24.980 Michaela said, I think this guy is evil. And I said, I don't think he is, Michaela. I don't
00:13:28.940 think he is. I think he's been seduced by evil. I think he actually believes he was
00:13:36.580 good, and that's how evil really works. I want to go into that a little later. I have a few things
00:13:45.400 that I think we should talk about. He wrote that what his representatives do reflect on him
00:13:52.800 personally, so he could no longer permit it. He saw himself as a hero, and that mindset
00:14:00.960 is the danger. The guy thought
00:14:03.280 he was Bonhoeffer.
00:14:10.840 And he was smart. He had a bright future.
00:14:13.720 Really bright future.
00:14:16.340 Now he's facing
00:14:17.280 federal charges, likely put him in prison,
00:14:19.220 hopefully for the rest of his life. Of course,
00:14:21.080 they are trying him in Washington, D.C.,
00:14:23.060 so who knows.
00:14:24.740 But he was a promising engineer, a teacher,
00:14:27.020 a game developer. Gone.
00:14:29.060 Wasted. Gone.
00:14:30.960 but think who else pays a price his parents they had no idea the guns were even in their home his
00:14:38.400 sister a journalist with her own career now linked forever to this nightmare but again i
00:14:44.800 say she's a journalist i don't know how this is all going to play out the students and the
00:14:52.740 colleagues that trusted him what are they saying today what are they saying are they holding him
00:14:57.920 up as a hero, the entire family's name in any other time in American history would be dragged
00:15:07.360 through the mud. I mean, just that story, your name is mud around here. Just that story. When 0.94
00:15:16.700 you say that, it's with a double D, M-U-D-D, not M-U-D, mud. That was the name of the doctor
00:15:24.700 who actually helped John Wilkes Booth reset his leg.
00:15:30.600 And for a while, they didn't know
00:15:32.180 if he really knew who he was working on,
00:15:34.120 but it was the fact that he pulled the boot
00:15:36.680 off of John Wilkes Booth's leg
00:15:38.280 and the back of the boot, it said John Wilkes Booth.
00:15:41.500 So they knew immediately he was lying.
00:15:44.140 He knew exactly who he was dealing with.
00:15:46.460 And that's where that phrase comes from. 1.00
00:15:48.820 Your name is mud in this town.
00:15:50.860 that's the stigma that went with somebody who just tried to help the assassin not the assassin
00:15:58.620 himself somebody who was giving aid to the assassin and now will this family's name be mud
00:16:06.080 it shouldn't be because they weren't helping they actually tried to warn their privacy is gone
00:16:12.700 their lives upended forever the secret service officer who took a bullet to the vest thank god
00:16:18.240 he's alive, the hotel staff, the guests who are put in the crossfire. What is it like to go to
00:16:23.680 Washington, D.C. now? What is it like just to go stay at a hotel in Washington where the president
00:16:28.860 might speak? How about us, the taxpayers, who are now footing the bill for millions more in security
00:16:35.400 at every future public event? And what is the cost on the republic itself?
00:16:42.440 this is how our republic will die bright young men convinced that violence is the only answer
00:16:52.080 to a political disagreement when assassination becomes thinkable when fixing the world means
00:16:59.600 opening fire at a dinner that's how our republic unravels politicians left right center they're 0.56
00:17:08.080 going to have to start living behind the walls now. What do you think that's going to do? Events
00:17:13.800 get canceled. Trust evaporates. The next shooter learns from this one's mistake and gets closer.
00:17:21.280 People who pay the ultimate price aren't the billionaires. They're not the ones like me,
00:17:25.520 the talking heads on TV or on radio or in podcast. It's the families. It's each of our families.
00:17:33.420 It's the families like the Allen shattered by a son or a brother they couldn't reach.
00:17:38.080 It's the ordinary American who will pay yet another high price and lose a piece of the free, open society that we all grew up in.
00:17:49.480 It's the republic that pays the price as we lose yet just one more piece of our soul every time hatred wins.
00:18:00.800 This guy wasn't born this way.
00:18:02.500 he was taught to be this way he was radicalized step by step post by post protest by protest
00:18:13.420 march after march he actually began to believe that murder was moral his family saw it they
00:18:20.840 warned they acted but in a country where political rage is treated like a virtue
00:18:27.200 instead of poison?
00:18:29.580 How many other guys are out there right now?
00:18:38.700 America, we are running out of warnings.
00:18:41.220 We have to do better.
00:18:42.540 We have to call this what it is.
00:18:44.060 This is domestic terrorism
00:18:45.820 born of ideological hatred.
00:18:49.720 The next time the shots ring out,
00:18:51.640 we might not be so lucky.
00:18:53.460 And the price?
00:18:54.100 and the price for success on this will be unbearable more in a minute let me tell you

00:19:50.460 We learned what makes them the best
00:19:53.120 and then we found those kinds of people
00:19:55.400 and you know what?
00:19:56.460 A lot of it just has to do
00:19:57.620 with being a man of your word.
00:19:59.260 Somebody who really knows what they're doing,
00:20:01.720 has really studied,
00:20:03.520 knows the latest things
00:20:05.480 that have to be done
00:20:06.640 in social media, etc., etc.

00:20:18.180 I have a lot of angles I want to hit on this, but I wanted to open with just the news of what
00:20:34.920 happened, who this guy was, and make sure that all of us understand that this is an all of us
00:20:44.000 problem. This problem is not coming from the right. I'm sorry when they say, you know, it's
00:20:47.800 coming from the right and the left. Maybe a little bit, maybe a little bit from the right.
00:20:52.500 But this is a definite problem coming from the left over and over and over and over again.
00:20:58.580 And we have to stop saying, you know, I can't take this. I can't take this whole pedophile stuff
00:21:04.380 anymore. I am just as upset about Jeffrey Epstein. And I wonder why our government doesn't do things
00:21:11.440 that other governments are doing. At least the English of all people have distanced themselves 1.00
00:21:16.980 from Prince Andrew. At least they've thrown that dirt bag out. But this is all political 0.52
00:21:23.900 and it's being used and it is becoming extraordinarily dangerous. You know what?
00:21:29.840 Don't listen to anybody on the left that talks to you anything about Jeffrey Epstein. If they
00:21:35.220 support the open borders and the Islamists that are here in America are trying to tell you all 0.90
00:21:41.580 about Palestine and everything else, don't listen to them. Don't listen to them. You're worried 0.98
00:21:46.380 about pedophiles but you can turn a blind eye to an entire society that marries nine-year-olds to 0.99
00:21:52.400 40-year-old men you you you don't even know what you're talking about you are not standing on moral
00:21:58.360 principles at all all you're doing is talking politics and i have no time for you no time for
00:22:03.200 you. This president is the guy on record that was turning the evidence over on Epstein before
00:22:16.540 anybody else would even talk about it. Oh, he's a fascist. Is he? Is he? Show me. Tell me. Tell me 0.99
00:22:28.980 the fascistic things that he's doing. Let's take those one at a time. Stay focused one at a time.
00:22:35.480 Let's run each of those things down. Show it to me. I want to see it. We have to start using
00:22:43.600 critical thinking and we must reject those who are condemning one side or the other as all evil
00:22:51.140 have to be stopped no matter the consequence people who are who are grooming our society
00:23:00.160 and our one whole generation that death is acceptable this is a death cult and we all
00:23:08.820 need to stand against it now before the death of the republic arrives and it gets closer and closer
00:23:17.380 every day. But there is some positive things to report on this as well. I'll get to that coming
00:23:22.320 up. Also, somebody who is there. NMLS 182334, NMLSConsumerAccess.org. APR for Rates in the
00:23:28.880 Five starts at 6.799% for well-qualified borrowers. Call 800-906-2440 for details about credit costs
00:23:35.000 and terms. We're going to talk to Katie Pavlich here in just a second. She was there on Saturday
00:23:39.460 first. Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where your credit card balance wasn't hitting,
00:23:42.800 you know, with crippling compounded interest. Sounds nice. Unfortunately, we don't live in
00:23:48.060 that world. If you're somebody who's had to lean on credit cards a little too often, I get it.
00:23:52.840 Everybody's doing it. Groceries, car repairs, medical bills, just keeping up when everything
00:23:57.220 gets more and more expensive. There's a good chance that that balance can grow into something
00:24:01.600 really serious. And I'm talking about the kind of debt that eats through your monthly budget,
00:24:05.680 makes it harder to save, can set you years back, you know, because it's just collecting interest.
00:24:11.180 This is where American Financing might be able to help.
00:24:14.820 Homeowners have options to consolidate high interest debt, a credit card debt, by using your home equity.
00:24:20.560 And you don't have to get rid of that really sweet loan that you have at a very low interest.
00:24:26.600 They have new ways to approach this.

00:25:04.220 I think it's three, guys.
00:25:07.960 Trump calling out the Dems' violent rhetoric.
00:25:11.360 Listen to this.
00:25:12.080 political violence has touched so many people in that room is there something that you as
00:25:20.140 president can do what can be done to change the trajectory you know you go back 20 years 40 years
00:25:29.460 100 years 200 years 500 years it's always been there people are assassinated people are injured
00:25:38.920 people are hurt and i'm not sure that there's any more now than there was i do think that the
00:25:44.520 hate speech of the democrats much more so is is very dangerous i really think it's very dangerous
00:25:49.880 to the country i have to tell you jennifer say from xxyy i was reading an article from her she
00:25:57.060 was there she's not a political person she went for the first time and she said she saw signs 0.99
00:26:02.120 rapist she was called a rapist for for even attending you're a rapist you're a fascist 0.99
00:26:07.640 all of these signs leading into it what do what do you think people are and what is the president 1.00
00:26:12.300 supposed to do about that o'donnell what is the president supposed to do katie pavlich host of
00:26:19.580 katie pavlich tonight uh is with us she was there um with um news nation on saturday katie we are
00:26:29.120 so glad that you're okay and that everybody's all right how are you feeling today thanks clad uh it
00:26:36.160 was i was trying to reflect yesterday about what happened um but the feeling i keep coming back to
00:26:44.240 is anger and frustration that this continues to happen um you know that the guy explain anger
00:26:51.040 because you know what being in the room and watching caroline levitt who's nine months
00:27:01.660 pregnant have to be taken out of the room because there's someone outside trying to 0.98
00:27:05.980 assassinate her boss and the people she works with and for her potentially uh watching people 1.00
00:27:14.300 who i've known for 16 years who are my friends pete hegseth for example um was in the room and
00:27:20.600 then they took him outside and once they opened the doors i was out in the hallway and he came
00:27:26.160 by with his wife jennifer and we said hello to each other you know and said it's nice to see you
00:27:32.140 um and then they whisked him away and he went off to the white house but it's just it's just
00:27:38.580 infuriating that this continues to be something that is acceptable um and you know i thought going
00:27:46.880 into the night that security was going to be tough that it would take me an hour to get into the hotel
00:27:50.900 it it was not tough at all i walked by those same protesters you were just talking about with their
00:27:56.960 palestinian flags and they were screaming that they hoped our dresses were ruined that our night
00:28:00.900 was ruined that we were fascists for going to the dinner um he walked right into the hotel and the
00:28:07.120 security downstairs uh magnetometers were right above the ballroom a stairwell away from what
00:28:13.440 everything that was happening in the room um yeah it's infuriating um and the manifesto i think
00:28:22.900 speaks for itself but it's just it's infuriating it's just that it happened at all let me ask you
00:28:30.100 this um you know we saw a couple of pictures there in the room um you know that you just can't fake
00:28:36.800 um Stephen Miller um also um you know our uh defense secretary uh standing up and shielding
00:28:45.960 their wives um and then and then you know pretty in pink I hear you know people you know rushing
00:28:55.300 to the White House in fact I want to give the quote what was it the quote was uh um many of us
00:29:00.620 ran to the white house in a very heroic ways to make sure that we were there for the press
00:29:07.900 conference and i don't think i've ever heard a sentence with heroic and ran in the same sentence
00:29:16.000 but these these journalists a i think experienced something for the first time they thought they
00:29:22.880 might be in the line of fire um and then they they seem to just make themselves out into heroes
00:29:29.840 what did you actually see so we were in the room um they got everyone in and they closed the doors
00:29:38.980 they sealed off the room then they brought in president trump the first lady announced them
00:29:43.520 at the front of the room i was closer to the back of the room near the doors where the press and
00:29:47.640 everybody else entered uh they announced the president we did the the color guard came in we
00:29:52.880 did the the uh the national anthem president trump was seated and about five minutes uh into
00:29:59.200 him being seated and everybody starting to get you know comfortable then because i was close to the
00:30:05.200 doors i heard the the gunshots and people started hearing them and then because the front of the
00:30:11.440 room was so loud people didn't know what was happening up near the stage so we heard the
00:30:17.600 gunshots people around me went down on the floor um it was very packed i don't know how they're
00:30:25.120 capable of actually having that many people in there it was impossible we needed to leave the
00:30:28.960 room for people to get out so many people got on the floor i was trying to see where the threat was
00:30:34.480 i was trying to see if there was someone in the room or if there was someone outside of the room
00:30:39.200 to me it sounded like it happened outside of the room but we weren't sure then glass starts breaking
00:30:44.320 you see secret service running down the middle of the room to get to the president and they were
00:30:48.880 taken out very quickly i mean i turned my head and the president was gone um so they got him out very
00:30:54.080 quickly but then they were trying to find other people cabinet secretaries who were sitting in
00:30:58.080 the room and they were spread out because different news outlets were right you know they invited
00:31:02.880 hosting was guests at their tables right so all these different security details were trying to
00:31:07.760 find their people to get them out of the room um and when i heard the shots to me it sounded like
00:31:14.320 a controlled situation because it ended quickly there was not a real exchange of gunfire it was
00:31:20.240 was not something that continued there were about there were five shots when you listen to the audio
00:31:24.620 and it was over so to me that indicated that secret service or some other law enforcement
00:31:30.080 agency that was there had handled the situation and it was not in the room um but people weren't
00:31:36.360 sure exactly what happened and there's no secure there was no service in the room really there was
00:31:40.340 some wi-fi but it was very sporadic so people couldn't usually shut that down outside right
00:31:45.760 exactly when the president is in the room they usually shut all of that stuff down so nobody
00:31:50.640 can activate a a bomb using cell service well right and that that was the other you know there's
00:31:57.780 so many questions here about the security i mean this guy checked into the hotel um and he had
00:32:03.600 you know if you i i just think it's a miracle that he was an amateur uh if this had been an
00:32:08.680 organized terrorist group or if this had been a suicide bomber who was able to get into
00:32:13.200 even the upper level above the ballroom um there were thousands of people in the hotel
00:32:20.300 including captain secretaries at parties before the event started so this perpetrator waited
00:32:27.540 until the president was seated clearly he was watching on television and that's when he tried
00:32:32.900 to get into the room um and he was stopped so secret service did their job um but the lead up
00:32:39.840 to it if it had been more organized uh yeah did you see professional would have been a much worse
00:32:47.540 situation for everybody did you see anybody in the room uh katie that um prayed
00:32:55.240 i don't i don't think i was paying that close attention but glenn to be honest i was looking
00:33:03.040 to see you know where we needed to be where people were going um once people realized and
00:33:08.580 the doors opened that the threat was over and they were letting people leave people did run
00:33:15.080 out on one side they wanted to get out of there other people stood around to try and see if the
00:33:19.260 president was coming back there was some talk of him maybe coming back the presidential seal was
00:33:22.960 still on the podium on the lectern um he had said he wanted to come back but then secret service
00:33:28.380 eventually said we're not going to do that and once the seal came off i knew that he wasn't
00:33:32.400 going to be coming back into the room um but people were scared people were on the floor they
00:33:37.820 They were very nervous. They should have been scared. But the fact is that this perpetrator
00:33:41.340 was not there for them. He was there for Republicans who work for Donald Trump and
00:33:46.480 they were there for Donald Trump. The media, I think, absolutely plays a huge role in all of
00:33:54.960 this. But now they found themselves a little bit in the crossfire. Do you think this will change
00:34:03.020 them at all i think there's any change coming to the people in the media i'd like to say yes but
00:34:10.780 i don't think so um i think that they're maybe today and this week there'll be some reflection
00:34:18.520 but the rhetoric that we saw we've seen um from many in the media is very similar to what is in
00:34:25.500 the manifesto um calling the president a fascist calling him a nazi saying he's a existential threat
00:34:31.680 to the country um that is coming from many in the media and it's coming from many mainstream
00:34:37.520 democrats so they've wrapped themselves they have too much political capital in this narrative uh
00:34:44.000 to to change it unfortunately this is the this is the third assassination attempt plan this is not
00:34:49.040 the first one and we haven't seen changes so far um so i'm not sure it will change
00:34:54.880 the president refuses to i mean i've asked him several times and um he'll always he'll cut me
00:35:02.880 off every time um and i've talked to him privately about it mr president i am so concerned about the
00:35:08.100 secret service glenn it's fine it's all fine i've looked into it i trust them but mr president i
00:35:14.620 don't want to talk about it anymore i mean he is he he's you know he grew up with the power
00:35:21.980 positive thinking norm and vincent peele was his pastor growing up in new york and so he does not
00:35:27.360 like to put things into his head that are negative and he doesn't like to talk about them or discuss
00:35:32.760 them um and i trust that you know it's his life i trust that he has looked into this but
00:35:38.420 are you convinced the secret service is
00:35:42.040 capable of protecting our president and the republic
00:35:47.780 so um i i actually interviewed the president in january and asked him the same question about
00:35:55.540 his safety and you know there are plans for him to go out and campaign for republican candidates
00:36:01.100 ahead of the midterm elections um a lot saturday night they did do their job they got the there was
00:36:08.820 no one who got into the room the president was the guy they got the guy the guy the president
00:36:12.880 was taken out of the room immediately if you watch the video the secret service stood right
00:36:17.020 in front of the president, which is their job in case there had been someone in the room to protect
00:36:21.640 him. So they did do their job on that level when something happened. However, given the fact that
00:36:30.940 this person checked into this hotel and that the hotel was still operating while the entire cabinet
00:36:36.900 and the president of the United States was in the building, and the fact that there was no real
00:36:42.020 security perimeter at all for everyone else um that is a failure so two things can be true at
00:36:50.680 once they did their job to protect the president but the other factors of the night were atrocious
00:36:58.900 um you know waving your ticket to get in maybe there was no id check there was no list of names
00:37:05.280 anybody could have gotten in so long as you you know went through the bag of automater um
00:37:10.260 there were no really working i saw one working dog that's it uh in inside the hotel so the
00:37:18.400 perimeter to get in i mean there was no check at the street anybody could have walked into the
00:37:22.220 the building um katie katie when when you when you look back at this what is the one thing
00:37:30.000 that you are going what what was the image or the one thing that you're going to live with
00:37:35.100 just remember you know hearing that the gunshots and wondering if there was someone in the room
00:37:42.360 and knowing immediately that the target was the president um and then hearing the glass breaking
00:37:49.700 and and watching you know katie miller being escorted out of the room with her husband when
00:37:55.680 she's she's also pregnant um people frantically trying to get their their families out of there
00:38:01.400 and also you know once they got the president out the SWAT team I don't know if it's officially
00:38:06.940 the SWAT team so forgive me if the language is not proper but they were in the room going table
00:38:11.940 to table trying to see what was going on but it was very difficult for them to move around they
00:38:17.000 were walking on tables on chairs because people were on the floor and even if the floor was not
00:38:22.320 covered in people it was so hard to move around in that room even if you were just nothing was
00:38:27.940 happening. And it wasn't chaotic. So just the sounds, the scenes, but also I'll remember the
00:38:33.600 president's words at the White House. I walked from the hotel to the White House to get into
00:38:37.660 that press conference and listening to him say, look, we need to come together and tone down
00:38:42.780 the temperature. Politics is supposed to be a substitute for violence. And at this point, 0.71
00:38:50.040 we have one side of the political aisle that is continually pushing the envelope and promoting
00:38:56.480 people in their party who have called for murder and they're trying to do it so where's where's
00:39:04.460 that stop katie i have real respect for you uh and i really admire you and and thank you for
00:39:10.780 your grace literally under fire and thanks for coming on today i appreciate it i'm glad you're
00:39:14.840 safe thanks for the opportunity glenn good to talk with you you bet good to talk to you katie
00:39:20.320 Pavlich. Boy, I will pray for two people today. I mean, pray for a lot of people, but two in
00:39:26.520 particular, Melania Trump and Erica Kirk. Enough. Enough is enough. All right. Let me tell you about
00:39:34.420 my Patriot Supply. You know, there are some people who hear the word preparedness and they
00:39:38.300 immediately think it means panic. It doesn't. It means you understand the world that is
00:39:41.800 unpredictable. Systems fail. Things, you know, we just assume things will be there and everything's
00:39:46.500 going to be the same as it was yesterday and it's not and then before you know it you've got trouble
00:39:50.920 please prepare yourself i want you to go to uh my patriot supply and prepare so you're not you know
00:39:58.480 having a problem when everybody else's power is out and your power is out you're you're not worried

00:40:32.040 more glenn back straight ahead
00:40:42.860 most of us think about protecting our home in very physical ways we lock the doors we install
00:40:50.900 the cameras but there's another way that your home can be targeted and it doesn't involve anyone
00:40:55.300 stepping foot in your property it is actually called home title fraud and it's exactly what
00:41:00.000 it sounds like criminals forge documents they file them with the county they transfer ownership
00:41:05.060 of your home into their name and then once all that happens they can attempt to take out loans
00:41:10.740 against your property or even try to sell it out from under you. The scary part is you don't
00:41:15.580 really know much about this as it's going on. Regular homeowner's insurance doesn't typically
00:41:19.620 protect you from this, and the mortgage company isn't looking for it either. That's why you need
00:41:24.380 home title lock. They monitor your home's title and alert you to any changes that could signal
00:41:29.040 fraud. So you're not left discovering it after the fact, which is a big problem. Something
00:41:35.060 suspicious shows up, you can immediately act and you can knock it out quickly.
00:41:40.740 I've partnered with Home Title Lock for a while now because I want you to be able to protect your equity.
00:41:44.920 I want you to be able to find out if you're already a victim of this because it's devastating if you get caught up in it.

00:42:08.580 It's HomeTitleLock.com.
00:42:09.880 The promo code is Blaze, HomeTitleLock.com, promo code Blaze.
00:42:30.000 I just want to I want to play something that Jimmy Kimmel did about the White House Correspondents
00:42:35.920 dinner uh during his broadcast last thursday he made this joke listen to this our first lady
00:42:42.220 melania is here look at more so beautiful mrs trump you have a glow like an expectant widow
00:42:47.880 hysterical isn't it hysterical no that's not a laugh track that's not a laugh track that's a
00:42:57.460 live studio audience and i'll bet you jimmy kimmel doesn't feel an ounce of regret on saying something
00:43:03.760 like that. This is the kind of stuff that has to stop. It has to stop. And we as a society need to
00:43:13.680 be very clear. Not funny. Not funny. Never, ever funny. Stop trying to kill the president
00:43:22.180 and those who are in Washington, D.C. on any side of the aisle. Stop trying to kill people
00:43:30.460 in our government. Stop it.
00:43:45.340 The direction of this country isn't just being decided in Washington. It's being decided in our
00:43:50.700 culture, in our economy, and in the choices that every single person makes every day. Who do you
00:43:56.520 support take your cell phone plan for instance the big wireless companies don't really care what
00:44:01.160 you believe you know they do whatever they want with your money but patriot mobile it's different

00:45:25.380 the fusion of entertainment enlightenment and empowerment this is the glenn beck program
00:45:39.100 hello america from new york city this is the glenn beck program it is monday
00:45:49.640 And the world has changed, or has it?
00:45:52.860 I think we need to change as people.
00:45:55.860 We need to know what is true and to make choices every day very carefully
00:46:01.160 because the world is coming undone.
00:46:03.640 It has gone insane.
00:46:05.560 There are several things I want to talk about.
00:46:07.160 A, how did the Secret Service, was this, is this the best we got?
00:46:12.160 Did they drop the ball?
00:46:13.740 I mean, nobody was killed.
00:46:14.800 um also some of the politicians i mean one one politician uh who is on the left actually i think
00:46:23.220 two uh but one that really came to mind is a congresswoman low-level congresswoman from
00:46:28.420 washington state that just tweeted immediately please stop trying to murder our president 0.99
00:46:34.040 that was a democrat that did that thank you thank you for doing that um
00:46:40.260 this guy was a part of what's called the wide awakes and the wide awakes were a movement in
00:46:49.600 the 1860s uh and it is it is such a bizarre thing uh that i happen to be traveling with something
00:46:58.960 from the wide awakes it's an amazing story i want to show something to you and it'll explain
00:47:05.160 what The Wide Awakes were and what they've turned into now.
00:47:09.840 But I want to spend a couple of minutes on this assassin in particular
00:47:15.360 and what it means to each of us.
00:47:18.420 We'll do that in 60 seconds.
00:47:19.880 First, back in the 80s, you wanted to steal somebody's identity.
00:47:23.540 You had to work for it.
00:47:24.640 You needed a fake mustache and a trench coat, I think.
00:47:26.860 You needed to rummage through file cabinets under flickering lights
00:47:29.760 and synth music playing in the background at some point.
00:47:32.700 You're probably going to get chased through a parking garage by a detective, you know, who was probably at some point hanging onto the hood of his car.
00:47:43.040 You know, that's not the way it happens anymore.
00:47:45.980 Right now, everything, a stolen password, 30 seconds of free time can cause a whole buttload of damage and they never have to leave their house.
00:47:56.220 Modern identity theft does not look like Starsky and Hutch.
00:47:59.600 It looks like something opening an account online, somebody opening that account in your name, and that's why I recommend LifeLock.
00:48:06.460 They help monitor, to look for signs, and they will alert you to certain changes or threats, and you can respond quickly with them.
00:48:15.820 The bad guys have an upgrade.
00:48:17.380 You need one as well.
00:48:18.960 Protect yourself now with LifeLock.

00:48:28.840 terms do apply. So this killer, if you read his manifesto, and I don't recommend it, I can just
00:48:37.020 summarize it for you. He thought he was working for God. He thought he was Bonhoeffer. He said,
00:48:43.040 I've got to stop all the pedophiles. I have to stop all of the racists. I have to stop all the 0.99
00:48:47.200 fascists. And it's left up to me. And he then apologized to, you know, his family and everybody 0.94
00:48:55.280 else, and he seems like a really, really nice guy. Let me just tell you, he's not obviously a really
00:49:00.760 nice guy, but he's not evil either. He's not crazy, and he's not a lone wolf. He was a guy who had an
00:49:09.520 awful lot of potential, very, very smart, and got himself wrapped up in the left, was part of the
00:49:15.700 No Kings March and everything else, and started to believe all this, and then started to convince
00:49:22.260 himself that he was on a mission from God, that he had to do the right thing to save the Republic
00:49:29.140 from all of these pedophiles. I want to talk to you about this because I have been saying this
00:49:37.560 for a while, and it is so important that we take every moment to recognize we've just taken another
00:49:44.240 step towards darkness. So you need to take another step and a half towards the light.
00:49:49.560 this guy was not evil this guy thought he was doing right the only way out of this situation
00:50:00.100 now is the god revolution of the past not a revolution with guns but quite honestly that's
00:50:06.500 what got us out of the 1860s that's what got us out of the 1700s was a god revolution that was a
00:50:12.060 god revolution when we went into the civil war that was a god revolution when we went into the
00:50:17.440 1960s gang that was a god revolution at the end it was god that saved us it was the uh what did
00:50:25.740 they call it that i think they actually called it the god revolution didn't they the jesus revolution
00:50:30.940 that's what it was that's what saves us every time god is the shield from the disease of almost
00:50:39.040 right because that's what happened to this guy he he was looking to do right and and you are not
00:50:46.300 going to be presented with options that are wrong. Very rarely will the Gestapo walk in and go,
00:50:52.640 we're the bad guys, join us. Their uniforms with the Gestapo were made by Hugo Boss.
00:51:00.620 They were made to look like really great uniforms that you wanted to join these guys.
00:51:06.500 They were the good guys. And so you might have made the mistake of going, well, maybe they're
00:51:12.520 not so bad. Mistake. But you didn't just choose evil. You chose almost right. Well, they look like
00:51:19.300 good guys. Almost right. Well, there are some problems they're dealing with. Almost right.
00:51:24.420 And before you know it, you are 180 degrees in the wrong direction. We are so close to the edge
00:51:31.820 of evil. Nobody wants to admit it, but we are there. And it's the tiny little shifts that will
00:51:37.060 land us in the completely wrong direction if we don't consciously choose now which God we serve.
00:51:46.040 This guy was not evil. He was steeped in evil. He had listened to, engaged in,
00:51:53.260 marched with those who had made good evil and evil good. He didn't choose evil.
00:52:00.700 Evil chose him, and he chose it every single time when he chose almost right.
00:52:11.700 And before he knew it, you don't know what's up and what's down.
00:52:16.620 And it begins by surrounding yourself with people who believe the ends justify the means.
00:52:22.780 Make no mistake, this is about choosing a God.
00:52:26.760 If you don't choose your God, one will choose you.
00:52:33.280 And it will shape everything, everything in your life.
00:52:39.380 And choosing your God is not a one-time prayer whispered in the moment of feeling.
00:52:45.040 It's the most decisive act your will will ever provide you.
00:52:52.080 daily costly reordering of your entire life around one idea what is good and eternal
00:53:03.260 and it will mean that you will stop drifting and you will start directing your life
00:53:08.220 because too many of us are just we're in the passenger seat of our own life we're being taken
00:53:14.240 places and we think well we don't really have control i don't know look where the world's going
00:53:19.660 It's your choice where you go. How do you order your hours and your thoughts and your heart?
00:53:27.900 Too many of us are just ordering them because it's the loudest thing in the room.
00:53:32.480 Because I got to respond to this right now. Stop, stop. No, you don't. No, you don't.
00:53:37.540 Look at your day today. Look at everything you do and decide which ones you're going to say,
00:53:42.780 no more, no more of this. From this moment, I'm going to give my life to only things that are
00:53:49.900 absolutely true. And I know they're true because they're eternal principles. My grandmother would
00:53:55.740 walk into the room and she would be like, I'm proud of you. And it begins the instant you refuse
00:54:04.260 to blame anyone or anybody or anything else for where you stand. Not your past, not your
00:54:12.540 circumstances, not the culture, not the economy, not the people who let you down. Blame is the
00:54:19.720 language of the lost. Ownership is the language of the free. Own your life. Stop saying these
00:54:34.420 things are happening to you and I can't control it. Yes, you can. You control the way you respond
00:54:42.260 to all of these things. He can't control. This shooter couldn't control what's happening in
00:54:48.200 Washington, but he can control what he does about them. And what he did about them was he got into
00:54:54.480 bed with people who kept preaching good is evil and evil is good. You need to say,
00:55:03.160 I know who my God is and I know what's eternal. And I know my God is a God of order.
00:55:11.920 and my God is not going to say, go kill that person. We, we have a God of life, not a God of
00:55:19.700 death. There is a death culture that is going on in all of society. It's a death cult. Choose life.
00:55:30.980 Choose it. This life belongs to me and only me. No one else can change my life except for me.
00:55:38.020 I have steward of my life and over everything I have.
00:55:48.640 I know, I know this sounds almost ridiculously simple, but it is each of us making this choice
00:56:00.280 that will make all of the difference. When we choose to think, when we choose to look at things,
00:56:07.040 When we stop saying, I don't know about this, I haven't been following, you have to follow.
00:56:14.120 It's your personal responsibility as a human being on planet Earth at this time to follow, to think, to get away from the endless distractions.
00:56:25.380 Choose.
00:56:26.240 Choose to live.
00:56:27.820 Really live.
00:56:29.080 Not as a consumer of life, but as its creator.
00:56:33.180 Your life is being created by you.
00:56:37.040 look for read study gaze upon engage in acts of kindness in words of wisdom in words of beauty
00:56:50.560 moments of genuine connection serve your family first
00:56:56.340 feed your own soul with good and truth
00:57:03.820 and then you can serve your friends and your community and a world that is starving for
00:57:12.020 something real. Become fully alive. Trade the wide easy road of least resistance for the narrow path
00:57:23.560 that leads to life. The climb is really steep but it makes you stronger and every sacrifice
00:57:32.820 is met with grace.
00:57:34.700 Every lonely stretch is filled with God.
00:57:38.860 Become the leader in your own story
00:57:41.480 instead of a follower of every passing win.
00:57:47.200 Become the one who stands when others sit.
00:57:50.620 Become the one who builds
00:57:52.580 when others either want to tear down or only watch.
00:58:00.740 Truth is eternal.
00:58:02.820 And when you choose eternal truth, when you choose the living God, who is not about vengeance and wrath, but is about truth and justice and love and healing, then the false gods that rule over you lose their power.
00:58:24.020 their chains fall off the numbness of your life lifts the strength rises where weakness
00:58:33.380 once lived peace settles in where you were nothing but a ball of anxiety
00:58:39.220 and you will discover a freedom no screen no success no amount of approval could ever ever
00:58:47.960 ever give you. You will face storms that you think there's no way I could face that. You will face
00:58:55.060 every road with all of its difficulties and you will never ever walk it alone. You will have a
00:59:00.940 guide that knows every turn, a father who loves you and delights in you, a savior who's already
00:59:07.880 overcome everything in the world and walks beside you and takes every broken piece of your story
00:59:13.840 and makes it somehow or another breathtakingly beautiful.
00:59:17.620 And you're like, how did this happen?
00:59:20.380 I know I've lived it.
00:59:23.140 It doesn't seem possible.
00:59:25.760 And it also doesn't seem like an answer.
00:59:28.780 It's this problem is too big.
00:59:30.800 Too big for who?
00:59:33.000 Too big for me.
00:59:34.220 Yep.
00:59:34.780 Too big for you.
00:59:35.960 Yes.
00:59:36.900 Too big for God.
00:59:37.980 Do you think he's surprised by any of this?
00:59:40.800 He is calling out to us, stop.
00:59:43.840 Stop. Stop. Choose life. Even if you don't know what that means exactly, you don't choose it
00:59:52.420 perfectly. You just choose it sincerely. It means you have to be willing to say,
01:00:00.140 I may have screwed up my life. Everything I may believe right now may be wrong,
01:00:04.920 but I don't want to live this way anymore. And I just want to find happiness. I just want to find
01:00:09.860 truth. And you'll choose courage over comfort and depth over distraction, responsibility over
01:00:17.840 blame and regret. This guy chose almost right time and time again until he was convinced that he was
01:00:33.440 on the side of God. I want you to know, God's not on my side. He's not on your side. He's not
01:00:41.640 on America's side. We must prepare to be on his side. And that's hard. And you're going to make
01:00:48.980 decisions that you don't want to do. You're going to say, I don't want to believe that. I don't want
01:00:54.040 to say that. I don't want to stand there. I don't want to be quiet. I want to be mad.
01:00:58.640 but you have to take ownership you have to take the wheel you have to step in to the woman or
01:01:09.680 the man you were designed to be you were made for this you are the key to all of this
01:01:18.020 we can blame this on a whole bunch of people i take the blame for this and everything that
01:01:26.040 I have done and not done in my life. And if we all start there, maybe, maybe we can save
01:01:32.700 ourselves. But the choice is yours. Make the choice. The ends don't justify the means.
01:01:51.620 they never do. Nobody's ever done anything to you that is worth a hill of beans. It doesn't
01:02:00.700 matter what's happened to you. It doesn't matter. Once you know who you really are and once you
01:02:10.440 know what God you actually serve, then you become a masterpiece of grace and purpose and unshakable
01:02:16.780 joy. And this stuff will stop. I urge you, please, today, begin. Choose your God carefully.
01:02:30.980 Back in a minute.
01:02:34.960 Our sponsor this half hour is Chapter. If you're about to turn 65, there's a good chance the

01:03:51.320 so ricky is uh saying that um the insiders are angry at me because
01:04:09.920 Because I'm suggesting, I'm not suggesting, I'm stating that he's not evil.
01:04:20.380 He's been seduced by evil, and he was living, manifesting evil.
01:04:26.120 But that doesn't make him evil, it makes the situation...
01:04:29.800 If we start to see people and we say, they're evil, well, I'm never going to be evil.
01:04:33.760 I'm never going to be evil.
01:04:35.480 I'm never going to be evil.
01:04:37.100 Because I'm not evil. I'm not an evil person.
01:04:39.920 Do you see the delusion that gives you?
01:04:42.360 I'm not going to be evil.
01:04:44.600 But if I understand that evil is constantly working to seduce us,
01:04:50.800 oh, wait a minute, I could be evil.
01:04:53.340 I could quickly become evil if I'm not paying attention,
01:04:57.180 if I'm just letting something slide, if I'm sitting like he did.
01:05:02.100 He was going to places where the ends justify the means,
01:05:06.200 where he was constantly told that this is fascism no this is not fascism you don't even know what
01:05:13.700 fascism is but he's constantly being seduced and you don't when you have an evil person you're
01:05:21.120 either born that way which i don't believe any baby is born evil but you're either born that way
01:05:25.680 or what happens you are constantly seduced or trained and suddenly you believe now some people
01:05:33.940 I guess want to be evil, think they're evil, want to be evil. That's fine. This guy didn't
01:05:39.160 read his manifest. He thought he was doing good. He was doing evil.
01:05:47.520 I say that he wasn't evil to bring this clear in all of our minds. Evil is not as obvious as you
01:05:57.900 think it is. It starts slowly and it seduces and it wants all of us, all of us. If you want to just
01:06:08.360 say, well, there's evil people, then you're never in danger because you're not an evil person and
01:06:12.560 neither am I. And I don't know an evil baby. I don't know an evil child. It is the society and
01:06:18.480 it is the seduction of evil that is pulling us into a very dangerous place. More in just a second.

01:07:50.080 i wish i could come to you today and say this guy was crazy i wish i could come to you today
01:08:04.460 and say this guy was uh just uh evil out of his mind he was a lone wolf but he's not
01:08:09.660 he's more terrifying he is absolutely doing the bidding of evil in the old days we would
01:08:14.840 have said he was possessed. Um, but, uh, he has been, uh, so convinced that Donald Trump is a
01:08:22.740 child molester or whatever, that he actually thought he was Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He actually 0.58
01:08:28.240 thought he was doing the right thing. And that, to me, that is more terrifying than somebody,
01:08:33.560 you know, swall. He knows he's not a good guy. Okay. He knows he's doing wrong. Okay. He's just
01:08:40.140 getting away with it and he doesn't care that that is, that's, that's the road to perdition.
01:08:44.520 I mean, that's just, you know, that's a son of perdition.
01:08:48.500 What scares me are these people who just are so convinced that what they're doing is right and righteous.
01:08:54.520 I mean, that's how you get the Nazis.
01:08:56.540 You know, a lot of them thought they were doing the right thing.
01:08:59.540 And those people are much more terrifying to me.
01:09:03.680 And you got the press.
01:09:05.700 They're doing what the press is doing.
01:09:07.820 But now, also, let's look at social media.
01:09:10.860 immediately there was this thing that this was a setup again this was just another setup
01:09:17.240 selena zito uh is is with us she is a um a reporter for the national examiner um and one 0.75
01:09:25.920 of my favorite writers she gets america unlike anybody else because she drives from town to town 0.99
01:09:30.280 she doesn't fly and she doesn't take the freeways she drives through the the back parts of of our 1.00
01:09:35.840 states. And so she learns about what people are really feeling and seeing. She happened to be
01:09:40.880 there at Butler, Pennsylvania. It had to be a little eerie for you, Selina, to see this again.
01:09:48.080 You know, first of all, thanks for having me on, Glenn. And I've got to say, since Butler,
01:09:56.120 if people don't know this, I was a few feet away from the president. I was supposed to fly with
01:10:02.520 him to bedminster right after that rally so they had positioned me to be ready to go right
01:10:09.180 afterwards and and so when i heard those gunshots um i i've i sort of have put that moment behind me
01:10:19.580 in butler i didn't know where i tucked it away but it came out saturday night um because
01:10:27.020 Because as soon as I heard those shots, I was all the things that I never allowed myself to feel in that moment.
01:10:39.180 Because I kept working in Butler.
01:10:41.600 I kept writing.
01:10:42.740 I kept taking pictures.
01:10:43.800 I never got down until they shoved me down on top.
01:10:47.440 You know, they went on top of me and took me down because I wouldn't get down.
01:10:51.280 And so I, you know, just brought back a lot.
01:10:56.400 um about that day i've been talking about how this guy is not crazy um and i don't think he's
01:11:07.560 i mean i think he was doing evil but he was convinced that he was doing good he is he is
01:11:13.900 somebody who has uh bought into all of these lies and i'm terrified of him because of how many others
01:11:22.500 think like he does now that they think that they're doing good um and that to me that is
01:11:28.820 much more terrifying than saying here's an evil guy over there see what the evil guy did
01:11:32.820 oh no no he thought he was good no he did he thought he was righteous and that is what is
01:11:41.440 even more unnerving you know there is this thing that happens in american politics today
01:11:47.220 that that used to be subtle right inference used to be subtle it's not subtle anymore we 0.85
01:11:55.020 our politicians use words like fascist and nazi and rapist and pedophile as as as common as any 0.82
01:12:04.740 other word to describe someone only they use it to describe president trump and or anyone who 0.92
01:12:11.780 supports him and or anyone that is a Republican. So it puts a new layers of people in harm's way.
01:12:20.760 You know, I tweeted this this morning. I was at a recent No Kings rally. And and what I found the
01:12:30.520 most disturbing was the willingness of elected Democrats in Pittsburgh to go in front of a crowd
01:12:39.540 that had signs about killing Trump or 86ing him, right?
01:12:45.580 And like violent posters, right, being held up by thousands of people.
01:12:53.820 And they were unwilling to say that's not right.
01:12:58.680 They were unwilling to call it out because they don't want to lose a vote.
01:13:05.600 And I find that morally depraved.
01:13:08.580 and i'm not going to not call it out anymore good good none of us none of us should be silent on
01:13:16.540 this no um one of the things that's one of the things that really scares me selena is it's now
01:13:22.240 not just the press now it is social media and we have so much um propaganda coming in we know from
01:13:33.040 china from russia and iran yeah we know and they will use any they don't care they will divide us
01:13:39.040 on anything they can divide us on um and i this you know this is going to be conspiracy central 0.68
01:13:49.020 um they're going to make this guy into a good guy they're going to make him into hey look he
01:13:54.640 really was apologetic and everything else he i have i'm afraid van jones is right on this one
01:14:00.200 that he's going to be looked at as a hero,
01:14:02.120 but even more so that this is just another conspiracy.
01:14:08.100 Oh, you know, nothing boils my blood more
01:14:13.000 to have seen in the past people saying,
01:14:16.840 Butler was staged, no one panicked.
01:14:19.980 Well, guess what?
01:14:20.780 No one panicked in a room full of journalists either
01:14:24.240 because when a situation like that happens,
01:14:27.620 you tend to freeze in the moment, and you don't fall apart and panic.
01:14:34.700 So, and I saw it immediately with this.
01:14:38.900 Like, they didn't even take a breath, and this became, you know,
01:14:43.620 it circulated on social media that it was staged.
01:14:46.960 And here's the thing that I think you're really hitting on that is really important, Glenn,
01:14:52.680 and that is that there is evil among us.
01:14:55.440 There are people who believe they are righteous to to and want and have sort of this lust to be a hero and save the world.
01:15:07.080 But that responsibility of the words used by politicians that dehumanizes someone, you know, Donald Trump is not thought of as a human by like 50 percent of the people in this country.
01:15:23.120 I know, I know, I know. Neither is his wife. My gosh, can you imagine what Melania? Oh, my gosh, leave. Please, can we leave these people alone? Anyway, go ahead.
01:15:33.940 uh it you know what the thing the couple of things that brought me back to butler that were good
01:15:41.260 and that was the president saying uh i want the show goes on i we got to do this yeah i know and
01:15:51.120 and and if if you read my book butler there's this he called me seven times the next day
01:15:57.620 and one of the things that he said is he wanted to go back on to that rally
01:16:02.500 first of all but also we talked about why he said fight fight fight and everybody has sort of a
01:16:08.020 theory right but he told me point blank he said I wasn't Donald Trump then I represented the office
01:16:15.480 of the presidency of the United States and it was my obligation to show strength if I would have
01:16:22.420 been carted out there on a stretcher or if they even would have let me leave without my shoes on
01:16:29.200 that does not live up to what the presidency means and so when people think i said fight
01:16:38.660 fight fight for any kind of reason i was saying it because i that is what our that's the ethos
01:16:44.700 of american exceptionalism that's what america stands for and i had that obligation and that's
01:16:51.320 what he was thinking uh saturday night too the show must go on gotta do it and you know what
01:16:56.500 There is something to be said. You know, you can't fake like like Pete Hegseth, you know, cover covering his wife when there is an active shooter covering his wife.
01:17:06.140 You can't fake that. You just are who you are. At those moments, it comes out.
01:17:10.780 Donald Trump is just he is cut from a completely different cloth.
01:17:16.740 He is not afraid. Even when he was down on the ground, I heard the head of the the dinner say he was saying, we're not afraid.
01:17:24.580 we're just we're going to do it let's let's continue on yeah he just wants to show nothing
01:17:30.740 will stop me because we're the united states of america i'm not the president we're the united
01:17:37.760 states of america and we do not cower that's an amazing that's an amazing trait to have in an
01:17:44.360 individual it really is and it's something that has been missing among american presidents i would
01:17:51.140 not say that about George W. Bush. He was very much about the country being strong. But, you know,
01:18:02.400 under Biden and under Obama, we cowered, you know, figuratively, tiny thousands of little cuts of
01:18:11.260 cowering, right? And Trump wants, I mean, that's part of him. That's his ethos. That's his moral
01:18:18.060 center right we are strong we we are america right we don't back down when someone attacks us
01:18:25.540 we stand up to it um and and that's what that that's why he does what he does people will make
01:18:32.740 a caricature of it people will make fun of it those are the people that don't understand it
01:18:37.880 and don't appreciate it um i'm not quite sure this is this is like a patriotism that is far
01:18:47.080 beyond waving a flag or dressing in red, white, and blue. This is understanding what America is
01:18:53.560 supposed to mean. Selena, what does, because you have such a good finger on the pulse of,
01:19:02.120 of America, have you been able to distill anything yet to say, I think this is what's
01:19:10.260 going to come out of this? Is anything going to come out of this or is this just another
01:19:14.360 notch on the post here's another thing that that is a reminder of butler on the day the day two
01:19:22.820 days after butler i went to my granddaughter's soccer game and i saw moms who i would have never
01:19:29.220 thought suburban moms with with trump hats on and and i asked one of them and this is in in the book
01:19:38.240 butler so this is not what i expected from you and she said oh i've always been a trump supporter
01:19:44.840 but if you can take a bullet for me i can wear a hat and so yesterday once again i found myself
01:19:51.860 at a soccer game and the amount of people wearing red white and blue um which is really really
01:20:01.120 interesting it's not that it's that close to memorial day because it's not it's not that close
01:20:06.100 to the 4th of July right this this was people tell you who they are not always with you know
01:20:16.480 yelling or screaming or attending a rally or whatever but it's it's not and it's not just
01:20:22.280 in their comportment they tell they give you hints that this is who I am come at me and say if you're
01:20:29.720 going to say something but I you know my spine is stronger because of what happened the day before
01:20:35.680 And what do you think the press takes away?
01:20:41.000 Anything change there?
01:20:41.820 Well, probably not.
01:20:45.420 And that's so disappointing.
01:20:48.420 You know, they didn't change after Butler,
01:20:51.900 and there were plenty of them there.
01:20:54.800 I suspect there's going to be a couple here and there
01:20:57.960 that are going to have a different worldview.
01:21:01.640 They should.
01:21:02.760 um that was that that was incredibly scary um to to see that happen to watch it happen
01:21:12.300 um but i i i don't i don't think so i i it makes me so sad to say that i don't want to say that
01:21:19.780 but the reality is i don't think anything will change
01:21:23.580 selena always good to talk to you thank you so much thank god bless you thank you god thank you
01:21:30.600 Selena Zito. All right, let me tell you about the Berna Launcher. Unless you're an action hero,
01:21:35.720 self-defense is one of those things, you know, you rarely have to think about, you know, when it does,
01:21:39.800 the question becomes really simple. Am I prepared for any of this? Have I even thought this through?
01:21:45.340 Do I have a way to create distance? Do I have a way to protect myself or my family?
01:21:50.900 Most real life threats are really messy. It's an aggressive stranger that just won't back off,
01:21:56.040 the person who keeps following you at close distance, an unstable guy who picks you out for
01:22:00.220 no reason. And that's why I want you to know about Burna. It's a less lethal launcher that fires
01:22:05.660 powerful pepper and kinetic rounds from a distance. So you can protect yourself without having to make
01:22:11.900 it a life or death decision in a split second. Legal in all 50 states, no permit is required.
01:22:18.080 That matters. Personal safety should be practical, accessible, and something you have with you when
01:22:22.840 you need it. And as long as you're over 18, there's no gray area on anything. Perfectly,
01:22:29.120 100% legal without permits or anything else. I want you to check out a Berna launcher. Go to

01:22:39.280 warehouse near you. Find that location at Berna, B-Y-R-N-A, berna.com slash glenn.
01:22:45.520 you show up you work hard you speak the truth even when it ain't popular
01:22:52.740 that still counts for something back we'll be right back
01:23:15.520 you never guess who just walked into the room curtis lewa i'm i'm i'm here in new york city
01:23:23.800 this week curtis how are you sir well who else would you see walking in from the subways to
01:23:28.840 streets right into the studios of glenbeck yeah it's uh it's good to see you plus that the city
01:23:35.020 is in trouble oh huge trouble well i first heard you in connecticut glenbeck when i was going
01:23:40.900 I went to Connecticut.
01:23:41.760 Really?
01:23:42.260 That's when I first heard him.
01:23:43.620 I said, man, this guy is going places.
01:23:45.620 And boy, was I right. 1.00
01:23:46.580 What a liar he is. 0.99
01:23:48.860 Very good. 1.00
01:23:49.520 I'm a politician.
01:23:50.520 I ran for mayor twice.
01:23:51.740 I know, I know.
01:23:52.380 You kiss babies.
01:23:53.200 You shake hands.
01:23:54.040 You're a politician, which means you're very good at lying.
01:23:56.920 So I'd love to have you back because I only have a couple of minutes here.
01:23:59.760 But just what's the reaction to him so far?
01:24:05.140 I mean, because it seems crazy.
01:24:07.740 Is this going to fall apart on him?
01:24:10.060 Well, Zohan Mandami, remember, it's a change, a generational change.
01:24:14.860 Millennials and Gen Zers are the majority.
01:24:17.880 Baby boomers like me, Glenn, we're no longer the majority.
01:24:21.980 So as AOC said, all out crazy, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, it's a generational change.
01:24:28.680 And they prove that every day.
01:24:30.280 He won a primary against Andrew Evil Eyes Cuomo, the dystopian candidate.
01:24:34.300 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:24:34.920 And then I got pushed aside by my own party with Trump and Elon Musk.
01:24:39.620 Okay, a vote for Sliwa is a vote for Zorn Mandami.
01:24:42.900 How did that work out with Andrew Pooh a second time around?
01:24:45.440 I know, I know.
01:24:46.120 So, no, we're going to have to suffer.
01:24:47.820 There are consequences for elections, and I tell everybody, you didn't vote for me, right?
01:24:52.340 Now you must suffer.
01:24:54.760 You must suffer!
01:24:56.600 Curtis, always good to see you.
01:24:57.880 We'll talk to you later.
01:24:58.580 Thank you so much.
01:24:59.240 All right, back with more in just a second.
01:25:02.720 More on Erica Kirk and what she experienced this weekend at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
01:25:08.500 All coming up.
01:25:09.620 One of the most frustrating parts of hearing loss is that it can make you really feel disconnected without ever announcing itself.
01:25:20.560 You're still in the room, you're still nodding along, still showing up, but you're working a lot harder just to keep up.
01:25:26.640 And sometimes you're guessing more than you'd like to admit, and you're just hoping, don't ask me anything because I don't know what we're talking about anymore.
01:25:34.800 What stops a lot of people from doing anything about it is not denial.
01:25:38.180 it's the process it's the doctor appointments the multiple visits the adjustments the price tag that
01:25:43.940 makes you go how what so people wait and you shouldn't have to audion was built to remove

01:27:13.900 This is probably 2010
01:27:15.240 And honestly, I felt like I was in a Lifetime movie
01:27:18.700 You know, I felt like, you know, I went back to the hotel with my wife
01:27:22.280 And I said, I feel like I need to, you know, take a shower
01:27:25.760 I just walked, you know, rocked back and forth on the floor of the shower
01:27:29.240 just trying to get clean and not being able to get clean it was such a disgusting despicable thing

01:29:08.940 I'm doing all right.
01:29:10.120 Thank you.
01:29:10.860 Yes.
01:29:14.020 I got to tell you, man.
01:29:17.240 My wife and I, we saw the video of Erica going out crying.
01:29:21.920 Yeah. 0.91
01:29:22.180 and I just leave this poor woman alone can people leave her alone anybody who is saying oh she 1.00
01:29:34.000 planned the death and everything she's obviously it she obviously she left there so distraught
01:29:39.880 this she has not even been allowed to grieve it's so clearly just below the surface
01:29:47.080 i felt for all of you guys i didn't know you were there well andrew yeah well you said uh in your
01:29:54.300 open that i was at the same table as her i wasn't actually i was um i was probably about 10 12 tables
01:30:00.480 away but glenn this place was so packed in i mean the fire marshal should have a head day with this
01:30:06.220 place um you could not get through there uh really even you know before the chaos broke out
01:30:12.880 It was so jam-packed, but, you know, I tried after everything kind of cleared up.
01:30:19.200 I mean, you know, where to start with this story is a question we're going,
01:30:22.920 but basically, you know, you hear everybody ducking for cover.
01:30:27.260 You know, you heard some loud bangs, but, you know, in that room,
01:30:30.820 there was such a cacophony of noises that it was kind of indiscernible,
01:30:34.180 and then you see people ducking for cover.
01:30:36.640 You know, our table got underneath the table as well, you know,
01:30:41.160 We're hiding underneath the tablecloth, and right over on my chair, I was sitting next
01:30:48.280 to Harmeet Dillon.
01:30:49.340 The Secret Service was climbing on our chairs, and Harmeet kind of had her head a little 0.96
01:30:55.760 bit higher, and one of the Secret Service guys actually stepped on her head, so she
01:31:00.260 got bruised by these guys trying to get by our table, so she had a little wealth on her
01:31:05.320 head just from getting stepped on. 0.51
01:31:07.460 That's how tight it was.
01:31:08.720 As soon as everything kind of cleared up, though, you know, the question was, did Trump get hit?
01:31:13.960 Did J.D. get hit? Did somebody get shot?
01:31:16.240 And we just couldn't hear it because it was so loud.
01:31:18.040 So everybody, you know, a room full of reporters, everybody's trying to figure out who got hurt and what happened.
01:31:23.380 And, you know, I happen to be at the table next to Philip Wegman, who's now with The Wall Street Journal, used to be a real clear and Washington Examiner.
01:31:32.200 So I've known him for years. I was like, Phil, what happened?
01:31:34.180 And he had he had eyes on President Trump getting escorted off.
01:31:37.300 So at least I kind of knew that.
01:31:38.720 instantly i beelined over for erica's table and um you know it was interesting i ran into
01:31:45.140 harris faulkner and uh martha mccallum and they they were like no erica got taken out she's uh
01:31:52.840 she was escorted out by security and um harris faulkner was like i was under the table with
01:31:58.480 erica we were we were praying together you know um and so that that was the moment and uh you know
01:32:05.940 And to your earlier point, Glenn, it's like, oh, it was all staged.
01:32:09.760 It's like, you know, yeah, it was all just some giant emotional production, guys.
01:32:15.120 That's really what we were doing.
01:32:17.380 We were playing 570 chess with everybody, and we just staged some Democrat who, you know, took a train across the country and assembled his weapons in his hotel room and teacher of the month and all this stuff.
01:32:29.620 We just did it for sympathy points.
01:32:32.080 You guys are real smart out there. 0.99
01:32:34.040 real real brilliant thinking i mean literally the level of uh just idiocy and brain rot and 0.95
01:32:42.680 just i don't even know what to make of it but there is such a desire to believe some sort of 0.94
01:32:48.580 you know wild conspiracy when regardless of what the story is going uh because you know sometimes
01:32:54.840 the truth just isn't emotionally satisfying or psychologically satisfying enough for so many
01:32:59.060 people and it's just really disgusting um i was in that room my heart was pounding through my chest
01:33:04.580 everybody was shaken up um you know i'm not i'm not saying here i'm traumatized glenn i wasn't
01:33:11.220 there on you know when charlie was killed at uvu um obviously i didn't see anything crazy here it
01:33:18.040 was just you know because it was a floor above and outside the the ballroom but i will tell you
01:33:23.440 it was scary in that room and everybody was was shaken up and um so i'm just kind of disgusted
01:33:28.540 to be honest that like whether it's the left or some fringe right uh crazy people that are
01:33:34.500 still cannot be convinced that like hey there's bad people in the world a lot of them happen to
01:33:39.560 be on the left and they want to kill people so what is this going to mean i mean um i know erica
01:33:47.560 and the vice president were supposed to speak this week together is that going to go on how
01:33:52.020 how does this mean for future events not just for you but for any of it yeah i mean
01:33:58.460 Listen, I think details are still getting worked out.
01:34:04.200 You know, I think when it came to University of Georgia, you know, we weren't really coordinated as closely as we could have been with the Secret Service when JD's in an event, right?
01:34:16.980 We kind of take care of our own security.
01:34:18.600 We kind of take care of our own travel and to and fro.
01:34:20.980 So I think that's one of the ideas that maybe we can coordinate better to make sure, you know, Erica's got a full detail and just kind of ride in with JD.
01:34:31.620 So that's kind of one of the things.
01:34:32.700 I mean, listen, every event's different.
01:34:34.480 Every event has its own security precautions and protocols that we need to put in place.
01:34:38.960 And so I don't want to make any broad generalizations or grand statements.
01:34:43.320 But, yeah, I mean, it's a terrifying reality.
01:34:45.780 I mean, when we had the University of Georgia event where Erica had to step out, I was grateful to step in and I was glad to do it, honored to do it.
01:34:55.100 You know, there was, oh, well, if J.D. can get there and Erica can't, you know, it must have been lying or something.
01:35:02.940 Oh, my God.
01:35:03.520 He has secret service and secret service.
01:35:06.740 Let me tell you something. Even my own family, when you have a key man who is on the person, the protectorate, they don't look around for others. Their job is to get that one person out. Secret Service is to get the vice president out. It doesn't matter who's standing next to him. Their job is to get him to security because of the Republic. For the love of Pete, people, use your stinking brains.
01:35:36.740 in in that yeah and glenn in that instance and i i actually appreciate your anger the whole thing 0.98
01:35:41.380 is so infuriating the you know the the issue wasn't necessarily the venue the secret service
01:35:46.900 had been there like clearing the venue it was getting her to and fro she was getting doxxed
01:35:51.140 like actively by a bunch of accounts that were you know that that was the real issue with the 0.96
01:35:55.540 travel but anyway it doesn't matter that does she the does she want to continue to do this
01:36:01.060 Andrew, I mean, how much I mean, listen, she's she is absolutely committed to and I don't want to put words in Erica's mouth.
01:36:08.500 I think she's going to she's probably going to kind of clarify what this event has meant to her at some point this week and kind of where her head's at.
01:36:17.240 So I don't want to speak for her. But, you know, actually, she's completely committed and devoted to, you know, fulfilling Charlie's legacy and mission.
01:36:26.100 And none of that has changed. Obviously, this was, you know, this was a triggering experience in more ways than one.
01:36:35.500 And it wasn't just her as well. You know, there was Mikey was at the event and Mikey was just a few feet away from Charlotte UVU.
01:36:42.460 And I know this was hard for him, too. And it's, you know, so in some in some ways, I'm the lucky one.
01:36:48.540 you know if you could call it that where i i haven't been up close to to those events and
01:36:54.580 i've had to live with the fallout certainly but it's not hitting some you know deep sort of mental
01:36:59.860 image so i'm grateful for that but listen this this whole thing is terrible and i i just think
01:37:05.860 that we've got to do something because the you know our side thinks everything's massad or the
01:37:12.940 jews or whatever and uh at least not the fringy folks on our side and then we're still dealing
01:37:19.660 with a radicalized mainstream violent uh assassination culture that is rising up on
01:37:27.220 the left and i think that's the most terrifying thing about this glenn is you've got this guy was
01:37:32.500 a fairly normie indiscernible and indistinguishable from so many of the other voices that you hear
01:37:39.860 on the 90 news and and that's the real issue here and you've got hassan piker talking about we need
01:37:46.280 to you know soak the streets in capitalist blood and you've got uh you know they want to talk about
01:37:51.000 social murder with the new york times uh straight out of angles in the 1800s and we shouldn't be
01:37:57.660 surprised when they are wrapping themselves in ideological pretzels to justify murder culture
01:38:03.100 of conservatives you got destiny who's a uh popular online leftist who who says that
01:38:09.240 conservatives this is right after charlie's assassination need to be terrified about going
01:38:13.620 out in public like this is what we're up against you know and so so to the fringy folks on the on
01:38:20.000 the right not everything is massad or the jews to the like crazies on the left you need to stop
01:38:25.640 okay you need to stop exacerbating everything and blaming trump for your own actions this is i mean
01:38:33.560 The problem is they're not going to stop.
01:38:38.960 The leaders won't stop because this is the chaos they want.
01:38:42.000 They are trying to collapse the republic.
01:38:44.700 They're not just trying to kill Donald Trump or something.
01:38:46.940 They're trying to collapse the United States of America and the republic, period.
01:38:51.740 So they're not going to stop.
01:38:53.120 It's the normal people that are listening to this, that are marching with the No Kings rallies and all of this stuff.
01:39:01.820 They've got to stop.
01:39:02.740 You've got to wake up and notice that you are surrounded by people who want to destroy the republic, who want to bring this whole thing down.
01:39:12.880 They're not against Donald Trump and his policies.
01:39:15.760 They are against capitalism, the free market system, and the United States of America, period.
01:39:22.260 Wake the hell up.
01:39:24.780 Stop it. 0.74
01:39:25.840 Stop it.
01:39:28.040 Andrew, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you.
01:39:30.240 Yeah, no, I'm with you.
01:39:32.420 I'm with you in spirit, and I think there's a righteous indignation that all of us should feel, because, listen, when we have political movement, and you saw it that night, you just walk outside of the Washington Hilton, and there's literal signs that says, death to tyrants.
01:39:46.580 This is how mainstream this has all been.
01:39:48.840 And you've got real mainstream elected leaders on the Democrat Party that speak at these No Kings rallies.
01:39:55.000 If you look at some of the signs, there's murder in the signs being advocated in the signs.
01:40:00.360 So so they've been normalizing this for years. And, you know, it's we really you have to realize they're not going to stop because if they do, if they say anything and your name's not John Fetterman, if you say anything, you'll instantly get primary.
01:40:15.520 Right. And John Fetterman will get primary, too. You know, there was a there was a moment with John Fetterman and Erica that I heard about where, you know, he was pretty emotional and he just apologized for whatever he could.
01:40:27.640 I mean, he didn't need to, but it was a, I mean, there were glimmers of hope.
01:40:31.660 And yeah, that was after everything happened, an emotional moment.
01:40:36.020 And I, yeah, good for John Fetterman.
01:40:37.840 That's a, that's a real moment.
01:40:39.420 So it's disappointing, it's depressing, but we got to do better, Glenn.
01:40:45.580 Please pass on to everybody at TPUSA.
01:40:48.780 All of our hearts and prayers are with you.
01:40:50.980 My, I think about you guys all the time and I pray for you all the time and Erica and
01:40:55.260 all of you with so much respect, Andrew.
01:40:57.380 God bless you. God bless you, Glenn. Thank you. You bet. All right. Um, I, I tell you, I, I've
01:41:04.980 reached out to John Fetterman a couple of times, um, just to say, you know, we don't agree on a
01:41:10.400 lot of stuff, but you have, you have been a remarkable, uh, man and very, very brave. He's
01:41:16.420 going to be primary. He will never win again. Um, and it's interesting to me that, um, somebody
01:41:23.220 who just says common sense stuff, that is a Democrat who doesn't agree with me. I mean,
01:41:29.200 I'm not going to vote for John Fetterman, but who is just a Democrat is so chased out of their own
01:41:34.800 party. They can't have anybody who is at all not a radical. They must have radicals in there. And
01:41:44.220 that's the number one thing. Democrats, you know, you're not an innocent bystander at this point.
01:41:51.620 There's too much evidence. There's just too much evidence. You're not an innocent bystander.
01:41:56.420 These people want to destroy the United States of America. If you want a violent destruction of
01:42:03.480 your country, you just keep going down this road. Keep going. We'll do everything we can to stop it.
01:42:09.540 We'll do everything we can to warn and to beg and to plead and to vote. But you just keep going down
01:42:18.400 with these radicals and you will get everything. Your children and your grandchildren will suffer
01:42:24.260 for generations. Anybody who loses freedom like this will not get it back for at least three
01:42:32.140 generations. Your children and your grandchildren will suffer under Marxism and fascism and death
01:42:40.720 and squalor and you will be responsible for it wake up back in just a minute
01:42:49.840 let me tell you about uh rough greens i'm sorry i should not be sorry but i've had enough um all
01:43:01.380 right let me tell you there's a difference between feeding your dog and really nourishing your dog
01:43:04.940 usually you just pour the food in the bowl you give them pat on the head and you assume you
01:43:08.240 handle it. But a lot of dry food, uh, for dogs in loses all of its important nutrients during
01:43:14.860 processing. It's, it's the ultra processed food. You know, this, you would never feed ultra processed
01:43:19.560 food, three meals a day to your kids ever, and expect them to be healthy. Why do we do this to
01:43:23.940 our dog? You need a daily nutritional supplement to add to your dog's food. And that's what rough
01:43:29.400 greens is. It's not a dog food replacement. It fortifies what you're already feeding them,
01:43:34.040 gives them the vitamins and minerals, probiotics, mega oils, and all the beneficial ingredients to
01:43:38.020 It helps support energy and digestion and healthy coat and all of that.
01:43:41.700 There is a difference.
01:43:42.560 More energy.
01:43:43.140 More enthusiasm.
01:43:44.540 Just a younger-seeming dog, honestly.

01:44:08.020 so i want to tell you uh earlier today i told you that this guy is not evil i'm not going to
01:44:25.920 repeat his name i don't want to make him famous he's not evil he's scarier than evil he thinks
01:44:31.300 he was good he was absolutely doing the bidding of evil he was doing evil but he had been
01:44:37.700 caught up into listening to people who have made evil good and good evil. And his march with the
01:44:48.980 No Kings rally, he's done it all. And he was saying all the same things he was hearing from
01:44:52.980 all the political pundits, all of the politicians, frankly, most of the people in the media. And he
01:45:00.100 believed it 100%. And he was convinced that he's going to do God's work and he's going to kill the 0.99
01:45:05.440 president of the United States. That is more terrifying than somebody who's just crazy. 1.00
01:45:09.540 That's more terrifying than somebody who's evil. That's, that's more terrifying because that person
01:45:14.360 can sit right next to you. He is part of something called the wide awakes. And in a very wild
01:45:23.080 coincidence, in fact, I don't, I wonder if it is a coincidence or did I have pre-knowledge of this
01:45:27.840 because how would I have this artifact with me? Friday, I'm in my office in Dallas and sitting
01:45:34.300 on my desk is a medal from the wide awakes from 1860. And, uh, it was something that they would
01:45:40.660 wear and it was sitting on my desk. And I thought, I have got to go put this back in the vault.
01:45:44.780 And, um, and so I pick it up, I put it in my pocket. I'm going to bring it back to the vault.
01:45:48.700 I get waylaid next day. I'm, you know, put my jacket on and I reach in and there is the wide
01:45:54.960 awake medal. And so I have it with me now in New York because on Saturday I left and, uh,
01:46:02.480 And then I hear about the shooting, and I hear about this guy being part of the Wide Awakes.
01:46:06.840 Well, if you're watching, you can see the metal that I have, and this is it.
01:46:14.560 This is the star that went with it, the Wide Awakes, and it has the all-seeing eye of God
01:46:20.600 and then the clouds of God representing, you know, the Moses, the pillar of fire and the clouds that follow.
01:46:29.200 um and what the wide awakes were in 1860 were a group of young men who were actually protecting
01:46:36.580 speakers because if you were speaking out about abolition you were uh you were in trouble you
01:46:43.620 know try to be erica kirk today go ahead speak and there was nobody protecting them and so these
01:46:49.500 guys got together and they said we'll protect the speakers that are for freedom and uh and so they
01:46:56.460 started wearing these black oil capes and they would march at night and they actually were some
01:47:03.640 people would say they really kind of sparked helped push the civil war because there was a
01:47:08.540 million of them and they were drilling you know they were marching in parades at night and the
01:47:12.440 south was saying look they're building an army um but they weren't an army but that's what this guy
01:47:19.740 was part of there is a new wide awake group that's not about abolition they've taken something
01:47:26.380 good and perverted it into, well, we're just marching against the fascists. We're marching
01:47:32.360 against the pedophiles. This guy, this is why I said, you know, be very, very careful. He didn't
01:47:39.180 make a wrong choice. He made an almost right choice. Join the wide awakes. Well, I know about
01:47:45.440 those. Those guys are good. No, not anymore. Not anymore. It's perversion of things that have been
01:47:51.640 good. All right, more in just a second. Let me tell you about SuperShure Insurance Agency, LLC,
01:47:56.060 a licensed insurance agency. Running a business means making decisions all day long, hiring,

01:48:11.320 in the middle of all of this is an insurance process that feels like it was designed intentionally
01:48:15.360 to be difficult. And it was, quite honestly. Stacks of paperwork, confusing coverage, waiting
01:48:20.260 days for answers, chasing people down just to say, can we make a change on this? Am I covered for
01:48:25.960 this? That's why I want you to know about SuperSure, built for modern business owners who

01:49:17.080 all right i want to i want to play a couple of things um we are in a different world now
01:49:33.740 and there is a younger generation curtis lee would just stop by a minute ago and he said
01:49:38.940 you know glenn it's just a new generation they believe in all of this stuff um and that's really
01:49:44.500 frightening because they are now talking about blood in the streets, capitalist blood in the
01:49:48.320 streets. And, you know, you know, you have people like James Carville who should be absolutely
01:49:53.360 ashamed of himself. Listen to this. This is a cut nine. This James Carville. I want to be clear on
01:49:58.040 this. I do not want that man to die. I want to, I want to watch him suffer and I can't watch a
01:50:03.900 dead person suffer. So I want him to be fully cognizant. What kind of guy says this? What,
01:50:08.240 Honestly, where's your Christian ethics there?
01:50:11.420 Where's your Western, Judeo-Christian, Western ethics? 1.00
01:50:15.600 I want to see him suffer. 0.70

01:50:21.740 Disney, shame on you.
01:50:24.140 Here's Jimmy Kimmel.
01:50:25.140 Listen to this, cut 10. 0.99
01:50:26.280 Our First Lady Melania is here. 0.99
01:50:28.860 Look at Melania, so beautiful.
01:50:30.200 Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.
01:50:32.920 is there anything too far for the the mouse house anything anything at all that you won't put up
01:50:44.100 with now write this down let me tell a little story about abc disney tomorrow write that down
01:50:50.640 don't let me forget um i mean i can i can play these over and over and over and over and over
01:50:58.240 again. And I've got a ton of them, a ton of them, and nothing's going to change. We have to change,
01:51:05.700 but you're not watching isolated tragedies anymore. You're not. Um, you know, you're
01:51:11.120 watching a pattern. It's deadly. It's accelerating. And it's a pattern of political violence coming
01:51:16.600 from the American left, period, period, three attempts on president Trump's life, two years,
01:51:23.320 three attempts. One of them, the latest, walks into the White House Correspondents' Dinner with
01:51:29.480 a manifesto. What does he say? Donald Trump is a pedophile. He's a rapist. He's a traitor.
01:51:36.260 Lays out the rule of engagement to kill administration officials. Where have I heard 1.00
01:51:40.900 all of this? Where have I heard all of it? He was a Harris donor. He was radicalized right in front
01:51:49.240 of everybody. His own family saw it and warned law enforcement. That wasn't enough. Charlie Kirk
01:51:56.320 has been gunned down, cold blood, college campus, 22-year-old, swallowed exactly the same poison.
01:52:04.040 I've had enough of this hatred. I've got to stop it. One bullet, one promising conservative leader
01:52:11.700 erased because his words were labeled fascistic this is not random and it's not mental health
01:52:20.620 this is the direct predictable result of years years of elites telling the youth
01:52:29.080 all the things that are absolutely untrue and they're not just wrong in doing it it is evil
01:52:37.200 they are creating existential threats 0.97
01:52:42.380 well they're fascist that's the existential they're pedophiles in power
01:52:48.060 we got to stop them any means necessary you know there was a piece in mother jones in 2022 and i 0.87
01:52:55.800 think it just it just came out again um some psychiatrist brandy x lee it went main for a
01:53:03.580 mainstream at the time. And it was really kind of the beginning of just framing Trump
01:53:08.580 and the right as walking dangers who would just unleash violence in the country.
01:53:14.280 Who's unleashed it? Who's unleashed it?
01:53:20.080 She said, well, you know what this is? Trump, this natural consequences of his own rhetoric.
01:53:26.040 Think about how gross this inversion is. People screaming that Trump incites violence have now
01:53:31.840 produced three assassination attempts on him and a successful hit on Charlie Kirk. The blood is on
01:53:37.920 your rhetoric. And if we don't reverse this trend, more and more and more, and the next target's not
01:53:47.200 going to be the president or a campus speaker. It might be your mayor. It might be your school
01:53:51.640 board member. It might be your pastor. It might be your neighbor who dares speak against the
01:53:56.360 prevailing narrative. It might be you or one of your kids just standing up security, security
01:54:03.660 perimeters. How thick do we have to make them? How many events do we have to cancel? When does
01:54:10.880 free speech, when is it free when it has to hide behind metal detectors, fear, and in White House
01:54:18.100 ballrooms? You want the president to really be out of touch with people? Yeah. Make sure he has to
01:54:23.160 lived behind bulletproof glass his entire time in office. I mean, this republic survived the Civil
01:54:30.720 War. Does it survive a sniper's rifle at a public event this time? All of these people,
01:54:46.780 all of these people who are going to pay a price our kids are going to pay a price
01:54:53.740 my kids who watch Charlie Kirk bleed out on a stage your kids being taught that political
01:55:04.080 disagreement justifies murder and ultimately every single American because
01:55:12.040 we we can't either we can't even gather together anywhere and be safe 0.98
01:55:19.960 stop with the mostly peaceful crap stop it no more talk of resistance 0.90
01:55:29.140 words have consequences i have to own my words every single day every single day i have to own 0.98
01:55:38.040 every word I say. I'm called into question, and I have been for 25 years. It's time to turn the
01:55:45.000 tables. Own your own damn words. You know, Cole Allen's sister, she owned them. 1.00
01:55:53.240 She alerted police. His brother, he owned them. They weren't even his words. He called police.
01:55:59.400 He saw what that meant. She saw what that meant. Charlie Kirk's shooter, mom, the mom saw it.
01:56:08.040 i'm sorry secret service i have a great deal of respect for you but i don't know what the
01:56:16.980 hell's going on with you i don't i don't understand this i really don't
01:56:22.580 donald trump trusts you i don't i don't i want to but i just don't see i just i don't know
01:56:32.860 I just don't see the passion there
01:56:36.120 of figuring things out
01:56:37.480 I'm tired of the two-tiered blindness
01:56:44.460 and we live in an outrage economy
01:56:51.860 and that's why I've apologized
01:56:53.460 maybe three times today
01:56:54.740 for being outraged
01:56:56.880 and raising my voice
01:56:58.620 because I don't want to be that
01:56:59.520 I don't want anything to do with it anymore
01:57:01.960 I don't want anything to do with it.
01:57:03.520 I've always tried not to play into it.
01:57:06.500 I've tried to be a decent human being.
01:57:09.520 I've tried to tell you the truth.
01:57:11.220 I am a passionate guy, but enough is enough.
01:57:20.800 And each of us, you have to turn off the voices that profit from civil war.
01:57:26.300 Because there's a lot of people that are profiting off a civil war.
01:57:28.820 they are telling you the only way out is civil war. In one way or another, that's what they're
01:57:33.800 telling you. I'm telling you, you want the most misery you could possibly imagine, you go ahead
01:57:39.120 and start a civil war. It will be misery for generations. Global misery. You want to fix
01:57:48.640 America? I'm with you. You want to tear America down? I'm not with you. Nobody with any sanity,
01:57:54.760 Nobody who has taken five minutes to actually think could be with you.
01:58:00.200 You tear down the United States of America.
01:58:02.880 Do you know what kind of chaos the world goes into?
01:58:06.480 Do you know what kind of horror shows just show up?
01:58:19.240 Our children are beginning to think that ideas are fought better with bullets.
01:58:24.760 than with speech.
01:58:41.660 I know you do this, I do this.
01:58:43.520 Anybody who crosses over into violence or violent rhetoric,
01:58:46.160 I disown them immediately.
01:58:47.720 Without reservation, I disown them immediately.
01:58:52.920 There's no both-side-ism.
01:58:54.760 it's not
01:58:58.580 the pattern that's happening right now
01:59:01.880 is asymmetric
01:59:03.520 we're in asymmetric warfare
01:59:05.640 right now
01:59:06.420 and the more we ignore it
01:59:08.440 the worse it'll get
01:59:09.460 look at what's happening to us
01:59:20.900 look at what we're turning into
01:59:22.400 yeah but social media is going to make us better
01:59:26.640 what's the name of that what's the name of that guy who we were just talking about jason the
01:59:33.520 the hassan piker hassan piker who the hell is this guy who the hell is this guy he is calling
01:59:40.920 he is online calling for capitalist blood to run in the streets he is calling for politicians to 0.99
01:59:49.620 be killed. And the New York times just did a profile on him. Like no big deal. This guy is 0.85
01:59:55.420 seen in pictures. He helped mom, Donnie get elected somehow or another. This guy is right in the band.
02:00:06.460 Any, any, any political pundit, any, anybody, anybody who is involved in any of this stuff
02:00:17.240 and lets that go by without saying, him or me. Him or me. You cannot have his support and my
02:00:25.580 support. You want his support? You're on your own. I'm out. You don't start standing up on things
02:00:31.280 like that. You have no place to go. You are responsible for what is coming. Period. There
02:00:38.740 are no spectators. I've been saying this for a long time. There's not going to be a single
02:00:41.600 spectator in the seat everybody's going to be on the field your silence is buying admission to which
02:00:48.920 side you're going to be on and you're going to be fighting it and you're going to think you know
02:00:53.560 this guy over the weekend he thought he was on the right side why because he was hanging out
02:00:58.000 with all these people who were just juicing him up we can keep pouring gasoline on the fire and
02:01:07.840 then act shock act shock the next time the shot rings out again you know but i know you you know
02:01:17.560 me i choose life i choose truth i choose the republic and i would suggest that the democrats
02:01:24.140 start doing that before it's too late now i want to talk to jason when we come back about what
02:01:29.820 happened with the secret service because he's been in situations like most people don't know
02:01:33.440 Jason works for me. He's been my chief researcher for a while, but he was also on my detail for a
02:01:38.600 while, protecting me. And he had been on some very large details. One was a very important governor
02:01:46.040 of the United States years back and dealt with a situation almost exactly like this that Donald
02:01:53.580 Trump was going through. And I wanted to get his opinion on what exactly happened. What's going on
02:01:58.120 with the Secret Service? Is this the way it should be handled? More in just a second. First, rapid
02:02:03.000 radios. You know, people are always assuming during an emergency that, you know, just call
02:02:08.120 somebody. But when bad weather hits or life gets really chaotic really fast or communication, you
02:02:13.260 know, is jammed up, it can be a lot harder problem than people think. And that's why rapid radios is
02:02:19.620 such a gift. They give you instant push to talk communication, no monthly fees, no contracts,
02:02:24.040 no complicated setup. You turn them on, you press the button and you talk. They operate using
02:02:29.480 nationwide LTE coverage, uh, and the networks cross carrier redundancy makes them a very smart
02:02:36.280 tool for staying connected when it really matters. I like it. It's simple. I use it for our ranch.
02:02:42.180 If we are traveling someplace, we should be having these. Honestly, we should get these for the
02:02:45.900 studio. Cause I'm, I'm traveling all the time, trying to get people on the phone, et cetera,
02:02:49.820 et cetera. We have rapid radios. I'm in instant contact, no matter where I am trusted by NASA,
02:02:54.360 border control, law enforcement, and more than 500,000 users across the country, right?

02:03:16.140 go to rapid radios rapid radios communication redefined glenn beck
02:03:29.480 Jason, I have profound, you know me, I have profound respect for the Secret Service and
02:03:44.240 our men in blue, but I don't know what to think about the Secret Service anymore.
02:03:48.480 I mean, I just don't see any big changes.
02:03:50.920 I don't see, I mean, as somebody who has done this for a living, you did it for a major
02:03:57.120 uh governor who was constantly under threat um is this the way it should have happened
02:04:03.220 uh you know i've i'm seeing reports i was reading this one description from bill malugan from fox
02:04:08.820 and what he described was you know the first exterior security this is almost quoting from him
02:04:13.740 said it was on the street outside the hotel said he just flashed his ticket they didn't even really
02:04:19.080 look at it nor check his name on a list they just flashed him in that first uh you know security
02:04:25.160 level i saw other uh people describing very similar scenarios where there was no layered
02:04:30.680 security like normal which is wild because that's not how i mean i learned how to do some of these
02:04:37.040 like you know like you mentioned before like a governor um at a hotel very similar i learned how
02:04:42.680 to do these things from the secret service it was their policies it just it's not done this way
02:04:47.900 even security staff will have a layered wristband on areas uh hallways have other layered access
02:04:54.860 levels. There's multiple, depending on how big the venue is, four or five layers out. It's clearly
02:05:00.780 marked. I don't know how a guest like this could get into that area, get so close without being
02:05:05.580 spotted a mile away, multiple different levels back. It makes no sense to me. This is not how
02:05:11.580 we would have done it back then on a governor level. I don't know if they're having staffing
02:05:18.940 issues funding issues how would you possibly have staffing issues i don't know i i mean if they have
02:05:25.800 funding issues that should be front pay this is the republic never again can we have all of the
02:05:32.300 all of the cabinet members in the same room now you can't do that anymore somebody could have gone
02:05:37.600 in and shot who chuck grassley could have been our president today okay not a good idea and i like
02:05:44.040 chuck i don't want him as our president but that's good that could have happened you know it's easy
02:05:49.900 to back to monday morning monday morning quarterback some of these things and i could
02:05:53.420 be wrong on just the perception of it so i would but i would love for a full breakdown from the
02:05:58.120 director of the secret service to say this is what broke down if at all i would love to see that and
02:06:02.560 see if i'm wrong but i i the only hope that i have is if i've talked to president trump about
02:06:07.320 it over and over and over again and he's like glenn i'm telling you they're fine they're watching
02:06:11.960 over it they've got it and you know it's his life it's his life so I would imagine he deeply deeply
02:06:18.720 cares and looks into it I just hope he's right because I don't have a lot of trust it fades
02:06:23.400 every time these things happen more trust with me and the secret service is lost and that makes me
02:06:28.540 profoundly sad because I think these guys many of them are true heroes are willing to die for
02:06:35.180 the republic and that's sad
