00:00:00.000 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:00:23.700 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:00:30.000 Oh, hello, America.
00:00:35.460 It is Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck Today and the Glenn Beck Program.
00:00:39.760 And it is, you know, it's strange to me because it used to be years ago.
00:00:44.000 Things were quite different.
00:00:45.100 In fact, they were quite quiet, especially on a day like today.
00:00:49.620 But, boy, have things changed.
00:00:53.300 It is like drinking from a fire hose.
00:00:56.740 A constant feed of news.
00:00:58.780 In fact, your mouth is maybe like right on the thing.
00:01:01.780 And so there's no shortage.
00:01:03.640 It hasn't slowed down.
00:01:04.700 And neither of we will make sure that you stay up today on all of the latest.
00:01:09.360 Plus, give you a little good news, I think, today as well.
00:01:13.260 Coming up after this.
00:01:14.780 Instead of just giving your kids and your grandkids more stuff this Christmas, give them the gift that will counteract leftist brainwashing.
00:01:29.820 It will help mold them into responsible adults and citizens who understand how our country, how our freedoms, how the economy works.
00:01:37.840 I'm talking about the growing library of resources from the Tuttle Twins.
00:01:42.240 They have toddlers and children's books that explore the principles of freedom using stories and pictures.
00:01:47.340 And stories about American heroes and entrepreneurship.
00:01:50.140 They even have a free market curriculum with lessons that can explore how the free market works.
00:01:55.080 So your kids at a very young age will understand supply and demand, inflation, and how government intervention affects the economy.
00:02:01.980 Giving these books and curriculum doesn't just help the kids you know.
00:02:04.940 It helps America because our children will lead the fight against leftism in the coming generation.
00:02:10.600 Go to TuttleTwinsBeck.com.
00:02:12.060 There's a holiday discount of 40% off and you can get the workbooks for free.
00:02:16.240 Give your kids and your country the gift of liberty.
00:02:20.400 TuttleTwinsBeck.com.
00:02:29.200 Welcome in, folks.
00:02:30.360 It's Justin Barkley from Wood Radio in Grand Rapids filling in for Glenn today.
00:02:34.940 All across America.
00:02:37.180 Merry Christmas Eve.
00:02:40.600 You used to be able to say that.
00:02:42.200 Merry Christmas.
00:02:44.640 And you used to also be able to say Merry Christmas Eve.
00:02:48.160 We're taking some time off for the holidays.
00:02:50.740 Everything used to shut down.
00:02:52.360 In fact, I talked a little bit about this, I think, back in Thanksgiving when I was filling in for Glenn.
00:02:58.900 Everything.
00:02:59.540 Do you remember that?
00:03:00.420 Around Thanksgiving.
00:03:01.540 Everything.
00:03:02.660 The world.
00:03:04.780 In fact, the news cycle.
00:03:06.860 Politics.
00:03:07.660 What happened in D.C.
00:03:09.520 It all sort of began to come to a standstill.
00:03:18.620 It all sort of began to come to a halt.
00:03:23.100 Things would quiet down.
00:03:24.540 They would go on vacation in Washington.
00:03:28.760 In fact, some might think that they should take a little more time off in Washington and do a little less damage.
00:03:35.920 Maybe that would be a good thing.
00:03:37.120 But it doesn't seem to stop these days.
00:03:39.500 There is a constant drumbeat.
00:03:41.780 It's a constant feed.
00:03:45.460 And in fact, you are force-fed.
00:03:49.540 Much of it.
00:03:51.420 I say quite often it's like drinking from a fire hose.
00:03:57.460 In fact, I think some days we've got our mouths right on the fire hydrant.
00:04:01.760 But it never stops.
00:04:05.840 It never lets up.
00:04:07.720 And there is a reason for that.
00:04:12.120 I think most of that is intentional.
00:04:14.660 It is really intended to make sure that you and I and the rest of America never rest.
00:04:25.700 That we never really get a chance to take a breath, to pause, and regroup.
00:04:33.900 It's a constant attack.
00:04:37.120 Every single day there's something new.
00:04:40.320 Something new I've got to know about.
00:04:42.040 There's something new that I've got to make sure that I pay attention to.
00:04:45.200 And much of it, I don't know.
00:04:46.140 Much of it's probably distraction.
00:04:49.880 Some of it may be a very small portion, a small detail.
00:04:59.120 Is actually information that we should be consuming.
00:05:03.580 And we should be aware of.
00:05:05.580 It is a fine line.
00:05:07.640 Every single day to try and figure out what matters.
00:05:14.280 What you should be paying attention to.
00:05:16.360 And what you can just tune out or turn off altogether.
00:05:21.600 It requires quite a bit of discipline.
00:05:25.260 And I talk about that actually.
00:05:28.740 In my book, Good News.
00:05:30.280 Hope and Encouragement for Trying Times.
00:05:31.820 But my point of this is, and I'll give you some tips on how we can do it a little later on in the program.
00:05:39.080 My point of this is, is that it's not slowing down as much as we'd like it to.
00:05:47.700 There is no break.
00:05:49.640 And you can't just stick your head in the sand and ignore everything.
00:05:53.360 No, you must be informed about the things that are critical.
00:05:56.540 Not just for you, but for your family.
00:06:03.200 And so, as I said, there's no shortage of it.
00:06:05.920 Today, we're going to be talking about those stories that just kind of quietly snuck by.
00:06:13.540 And there's quite a few of them.
00:06:15.040 As we are trying to enjoy the holidays with family.
00:06:23.840 As we're trying to take that time off to pause.
00:06:29.080 Stories like this.
00:06:31.040 Millions are affected, by the way.
00:06:33.680 By the Biden administration's OSHA mandates.
00:06:36.460 And those say that any company with 100 employees or more must be forced to take the jab.
00:06:45.580 Or then submit to some sort of testing.
00:06:48.300 And really give you a yellow star that you have to wear around the office, apparently.
00:06:54.240 And a lot of folks are being forced out of their jobs over this.
00:06:57.820 Jab or job?
00:06:59.040 That's the question.
00:07:00.040 That's the choice that they're being forced to make.
00:07:04.100 But what's the legality of all of it?
00:07:06.460 Is it constitutional?
00:07:09.760 The Supreme Court says they're going to take that up.
00:07:11.800 We'll cover that story.
00:07:13.060 But not just from the constitutional standpoint.
00:07:16.600 A little later on, what OSHA is doing altogether?
00:07:20.340 I mean, are they even set up to do this sort of thing?
00:07:24.260 And is it legal?
00:07:25.780 Is that really how the OSHA process works?
00:07:30.400 Plus, the verdict is in, in the Kim Potter trial.
00:07:33.380 And it is, it's a scary time for police officers.
00:07:42.200 They come back in this case.
00:07:45.400 And if you haven't been paying attention, I kind of tuned this one out a little bit.
00:07:49.800 As well for, for a while.
00:07:52.380 But, because, I mean, how many of these cases can we take?
00:07:55.480 Rittenhouse.
00:07:57.960 She is guilty.
00:07:59.860 They come back.
00:08:00.680 Now, this is after hearing.
00:08:02.240 That the jury was deadlocked.
00:08:05.980 So there are questions now about what happened during the process.
00:08:10.060 And in the case, if you don't remember, this is the woman, the police officer, who had confronted the man who was trying to flee in his car.
00:08:21.700 Things were turning sideways fast.
00:08:23.680 He had a warrant out for his arrest.
00:08:25.820 Lengthy criminal background.
00:08:27.540 She says, please comply, in essence, or I'm going to have to tase you.
00:08:34.080 He doesn't.
00:08:34.960 But, she reaches for what she thinks is her taser.
00:08:42.820 Turns out, it's her gun.
00:08:47.480 And now, Daunte Wright is dead.
00:08:49.120 And she is going to prison. 0.85
00:08:52.220 But, is that really justice?
00:08:58.020 What does justice look like anymore?
00:09:00.080 And, is it even possible to really get there anymore?
00:09:08.600 It's all part of what we're covering today.
00:09:10.360 So, I appreciate you being here with us.
00:09:11.840 Plus, I promise you some good news as well.
00:09:14.740 There are miracles literally happening all around us.
00:09:18.140 We'll get to those, too.
00:09:18.940 I want to make sure that you get all the news.
00:09:21.740 Not just some of it.
00:09:23.760 And, leaving little bits and pieces out is still lying.
00:09:28.460 If folks from CNN or MSNBC are tuning in today.
00:09:32.620 It's still lying.
00:09:33.880 No matter what side of the aisle that you're on.
00:09:38.100 We've got to have all of the information so we can make the best decisions for ourselves and our families.
00:09:43.980 And, I'm going to try and make sure that you get it today.
00:09:45.700 And, for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program, it's Justin Barkley back after this.

00:10:53.880 Rules and restrictions may apply.
00:11:08.640 You know, I just wonder, is justice even a thing anymore?
00:11:13.580 You can see the look on her face that kind of prepared her for this, I think.
00:11:21.820 I don't know.
00:11:23.320 I can't tell you.
00:11:26.440 Certainly there should be some sort of consequence.
00:11:28.400 She made a mistake.
00:11:30.980 It's clearly an accident what she did.
00:11:33.080 Now, there are consequences to accidents, even if they're unintentional.
00:11:42.400 Certainly she's going to have to live with some of those anyway.
00:11:44.620 But there are consequences beyond living with the shame and the guilt and all the other things that a police officer has to go through after they're involved in something like this.
00:12:03.960 They don't, contrary, by the way, to what the mainstream media and some folks out there want you to believe.
00:12:12.020 They just, they don't want this to ever happen.
00:12:16.400 They really don't.
00:12:17.700 But she's going to have to live with all of that.
00:12:26.740 But now, she'll also have to go to jail, go to prison for quite some time. 1.00
00:12:30.900 So the question really is, what is the appropriate consequence?
00:12:35.340 And can you really get justice?
00:12:37.240 We heard just the other day that the jury was deadlocked in this case.
00:12:43.400 And it was not looking good.
00:12:45.740 And just maybe a day or so later, we have a verdict.
00:12:53.800 Now, I'm told, I don't know because, again, you don't, you just know these days necessarily how much of this you can depend on.
00:13:07.240 There are reports that inside the courtroom you could hear chants from outside where folks were protesting.
00:13:18.800 Same thing happened in the Rittenhouse trial.
00:13:23.860 The question is, can you get justice anymore?
00:13:26.840 When a jury knows, when a jury knows that the decision that's being made inside those walls is going to be nitpicked, it's going to be criticized, no matter what happens, no matter the decision, whatever, they know that people are constantly going to, talking heads are going to talk about it 24-7 on the TV news.
00:13:57.760 Bloggers are going to blog about it.
00:13:59.280 It's going to be tweeted about in the Twitterverse.
00:14:01.520 And all these things are going to be happening.
00:14:04.280 In fact, they now know, and so do we, after MSNBC was caught, literally caught during the Rittenhouse trial, trying to track down who the jurors were and find out what their identities were.
00:14:18.280 Oh, no, no, no, no, no, this was only for after things were over and then we could report on where they were going to be.
00:14:25.200 And, of course, they got busted, red-handed, caught.
00:14:28.760 But, and jurors know this now, my question is, is justice even possible anymore?
00:14:42.120 You know, especially in a high-profile case like this.
00:14:46.640 I just don't know that it is.
00:14:52.340 You know, you get to, you've got your Rittenhouse verdict and I think that, that helped restore a lot of, for a lot of folks, the, maybe the faith in the fact that the system can work.
00:15:02.200 But, in this case, did it?
00:15:13.560 These are all questions people are going to be asking.
00:15:16.920 Not just today, but maybe sitting around the dinner table at some point and throughout the course of the next week or so.
00:15:22.940 They're going to be asking those, but they're already asking it in some cases.
00:15:27.380 Have you seen the case of the Colorado truck driver?
00:15:31.400 There's another, there's another wild case right now that's, that's, that's actually playing out along these lines.
00:15:37.540 He was given another accident.
00:15:41.460 Horrible, tragic accident.
00:15:43.940 And you, you know, I mean, it, I don't think we have to say these things in these cases that anytime someone loses a life, it's, it's absolutely tragic.
00:15:54.040 But apparently not is it.
00:15:55.340 You just got to make sure you say that over and over again.
00:15:57.500 But the judge had to head down this 110 year minimum sentence for the guy.
00:16:04.600 He is a truck driver.
00:16:06.240 And I think the reason why it's getting so much scrutiny right now at this point.
00:16:13.380 A Colorado district attorney.
00:16:19.600 Even moving for a hearing to examine whether 110 year old prison, 110 year prison sentence for this truck driver.
00:16:28.400 Who killed four in the crash in 2019 should stand.
00:16:35.180 I think the only reason it's getting any, any traction is because this man is a, a BIPOC is a person of color. 0.84
00:16:45.900 But I think we ought to look, take a look at this because is this really the right thing to do?
00:16:52.020 Regardless of them, any of these other extra issues is, is this the right, is this the right thing to do?
00:16:59.080 Should someone for an accident who didn't intentionally kill someone get 110 years in jail?
00:17:05.040 Well, and should we even have these type of minimums?
00:17:08.540 They certainly don't use these minimum sentences when it comes to locking away child predators and things of that nature.
00:17:13.960 Holy cow, I've seen some of the craziest things happen.
00:17:17.100 The people do some of the weirdest and worst things in the world and yet they're let out.
00:17:22.440 Free to Roman society right now. 0.92
00:17:25.140 Speaking of whether justice is a real thing anymore.
00:17:27.940 Right now, out in California, there are armed gangs of these roving individuals who are going into these stores, smashing and grabbing, running with the loot.
00:17:43.160 They get arrested and then the, uh, the prosecutor lets them right back out on the streets.
00:17:50.500 Is justice real anymore?
00:17:52.120 The last time I talked with you around Thanksgiving, talk with Jim Simpson, who's the author of the book on Karl Marx, and he talks about, as I mentioned, when I bring these, these stories up, these cases up, and so often with the Biden administration too, the incompetence, the level of incompetence is at an utter, an all time low when it comes to these situations.
00:18:20.380 It's either sheer and utter, just absolute incompetence, or it's intentional.
00:18:26.060 He makes the case that it's all part of collapsing the system and that it is intentional.
00:18:33.740 And yet here we have real people, real lives hanging in the balance.
00:18:39.520 And one of the questions that I have is what happens now?
00:18:44.240 We already hear in this case in Colorado, the truck drivers are saying, I don't really want to go to Colorado.
00:18:49.500 If there's a chance that I could end up in prison for a hundred years because of an accident, this guy's brakes went out apparently and had to swerve and he swerved into, now whether we should or shouldn't have, that's a whole nother conversation you can have.
00:19:03.620 But then there are real life consequences that are coming out of this.
00:19:07.960 You can't discount the fact that this chain reaction crash, they say, and the fire.
00:19:16.020 I mean, 28 vehicles.
00:19:19.120 He was traveling an estimated 84 miles per hour before the crash.
00:19:22.700 I'm not saying there shouldn't be any consequences.
00:19:24.900 But it is a question that is continually brought up now.
00:19:30.580 Is there a thing?
00:19:32.220 Is there a real thing?
00:19:33.960 Is justice even alive anymore?
00:19:37.260 And what are these unintended consequences?
00:19:39.420 Now we have police in a time I think which is more important than ever before.
00:19:43.220 We have police who are questioning whether or not every single day a new story pops up, whether or not they should be in the line of work that they're in.
00:19:55.860 What are they going through?
00:19:57.540 And we've heard so much about the Ferguson effect.
00:19:59.800 What happens when good police have to walk away?
00:20:07.760 We'll touch on that next and hear from one man who's trying to make a difference.
00:20:15.240 You can too.
00:20:17.360 Back after this, Justin Barkley in today for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:21:45.480 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:21:48.600 Stick around.
00:21:49.620 More after the break.
00:21:50.520 In Minnesota, find the defendant guilty.
00:22:04.180 And the verdict...
00:22:04.700 Kim Potter guilty on all counts.
00:22:07.560 That is, that's the verdict.
00:22:10.840 Another situation, another police officer.
00:22:13.280 And I think police, for certain, are constantly having to ask these questions and confront this.
00:22:21.700 The situation that every day they leave their home, they don't know.
00:22:26.840 You kiss your family goodbye, you don't know what you're going to face when you go out there in the line of duty.
00:22:34.520 Will they even return home?
00:22:37.980 And folks, they're out there.
00:22:41.020 We talk a lot about, you know, front lines.
00:22:42.640 But they're out there.
00:22:43.480 They're out there every day.
00:22:46.320 Even on days like today.
00:22:47.620 Even holidays.
00:22:49.100 Even the days they may not want to be.
00:22:50.560 Even days when they want to just be with family.
00:22:53.700 They're out there.
00:22:56.680 But how many of them are going to be willing to do the job?
00:23:01.680 A thankless, in a lot of ways, a thankless job.
00:23:04.840 How many of them are going to want to continue to do that if they face situations where they're constantly being attacked?
00:23:20.360 And scrutinized in a way that even if they make a mistake, they may just not have the ability to even get a fair trial.
00:23:32.920 Well, that's the issue.
00:23:35.060 Can they even get a fair shake?
00:23:39.340 Shouldn't she even have been charged?
00:23:41.780 Lots of those questions folks are going to be asking over the next several days and weeks.
00:23:47.500 Joining us right now, Adam Davis from TheAdamDavis.com.
00:23:50.980 He's an author, former police officer, and he is the author of several books that police officers, first responders, military read on a daily basis.
00:24:03.800 Devotions to help them in times, sometimes when they seem the darkest.
00:24:09.720 Adam, appreciate you being here with us today.
00:24:11.280 Thank you for joining us.
00:24:13.380 Justin, thank you so much for having me on today.
00:24:16.940 A Merry Christmas to y'all.
00:24:18.040 Hey, you too, my friend.
00:24:20.380 And so I got to ask you, because you've written several of these books and you're constantly dealing with these guys.
00:24:27.200 You were a police officer at one point yourself behind the badge on spiritual combat.
00:24:31.240 But my question is, what these folks face on a daily basis and the unintended or maybe the intended consequences, who knows, of the constant attacks that they're under, the Ferguson effect.
00:24:49.300 What does that look like?
00:24:50.000 We've seen crime, and that's one of the major issues over the last year, is crime is through the roof, violence through the roof, not just in places like Chicago and the usual suspects, but all over.
00:25:04.540 And so their job is even more so dangerous, and they're even more necessary.
00:25:09.360 But will they continue to do it if they are faced with situations where they're constantly demonized in the media, and who knows, they could lose it all for one small mistake.
00:25:24.520 And, Adam, the other thing I've got to bring up, and I know you know this all too well, but the suicide rate of these folks is unfortunately through the roof.
00:25:36.120 We lose police officers at a rate that's all too common.
00:25:41.740 Well, I can tell you this on the note of will they continue to do it.
00:25:49.040 If you're the praying type, you better pray every day that good men and women will answer the call to serve as law enforcement officers.
00:25:58.560 Because while the world is increasingly evil, and it's growing more evil every day,
00:26:05.600 good police officers are what stand between you being affected by them and the evil that exists.
00:26:17.600 And I'll tell you this, you know, on the issue of the Kim Potter case, I watched the video,
00:26:27.120 and that's a really, really fast, rapid unfolding situation.
00:26:33.260 And that's the way most every single one of them go, right?
00:26:39.060 You've got an officer hanging in and out of the car.
00:26:41.480 He's trying to get the car to get the keys out.
00:26:45.140 She says she meant to pull a taser, and it's a horrible situation.
00:26:51.180 Not only that, but on the video, she says to the guy, hey, I'm going to have to tase you.
00:26:54.940 I think that's where, you know, quite frankly, there's something that happens to your mind
00:27:06.880 when you are in absolute, overwhelming, chaotic stress.
00:27:12.580 Now, granted, she's been law enforcement 26 years.
00:27:15.940 She's trained for this.
00:27:16.920 But has she ever been in a situation like that?
00:27:22.560 And I think that there's a term, something like cognitive overload.
00:27:27.700 And that's where the fight or flight, everything is just, it's like everything is haywire.
00:27:33.880 And, you know, until you've been there, it's hard to Monday morning quarterback that.
00:27:38.180 Yes, she made a fatal mistake, a horrible mistake.
00:27:44.700 And she's going to pay for it unless, you know, something changes.
00:27:47.340 But did they get it right?
00:27:49.180 You know, I don't know.
00:27:51.220 I don't, I don't.
00:27:52.400 Looking at the video, you've got an officer who's obviously in danger.
00:27:56.240 He's trying to drive away, and the officer's in and out of the car.
00:28:00.740 That, by definition, that's rules for leave of force.
00:28:04.280 But why would she be using the taser and then be so distraught when she discovers she's shot and killed him?
00:28:11.340 So, you know, there's so many issues there.
00:28:14.000 You know, did they get manslaughter right?
00:28:16.360 I mean, the whole thing is cops are going to be no fair trial forever, forevermore.
00:28:25.780 They're not going to get a fair trial.
00:28:27.280 You can forget it, especially in a Democratic-run city.
00:28:30.740 Places like Minneapolis and over, you know, you've got to look at how can we get back to where America loves cops and we respect cops.
00:28:43.540 And when they make mistakes, hold them accountable.
00:28:45.740 They've always been held to a higher standard.
00:28:48.000 That's the way it's got to be.
00:28:48.960 But let's not take out our issues in society on cops.
00:28:56.780 You know, the ones that do mess up.
00:28:58.560 We're just going to burn them at the cross, and I don't think that's fair.
00:29:01.680 If they mess up, hold them to a standard.
00:29:03.740 Hold them to a higher standard.
00:29:05.560 That's the way it's always been.
00:29:06.780 But, you know, cops are – you better hope and pray to God that good men and women continue to answer the call to serve in law enforcement.
00:29:14.540 But you don't want a world where cops don't exist.
00:29:18.820 You don't want to – and I would say, Adam, here's the other thing, too.
00:29:23.160 I don't think people think about this as much.
00:29:25.520 But you don't want a world where cops do exist, even more so where they don't exist, but where they do exist, but all the good ones are gone.
00:29:34.660 And the only folks that are left, you know, are –
00:29:39.900 You don't want that.
00:29:42.460 Yeah.
00:29:42.920 And that – we are – when they say defund the police, in fact, there were – there were – there's a couple of stories over the last couple of days where I think it was a couple of –
00:29:53.660 defund the police Democrats were actually – were two congressmen who voted to defund the police.
00:30:03.180 They both got carjacked and robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight the last couple of days.
00:30:09.360 I mean –
00:30:10.660 What do you say to that?
00:30:13.300 I don't believe – I don't believe in karma, but boy, oh boy, that has some sort of divine ring to it, doesn't it?
00:30:19.300 Well, I don't – I don't ever want to see anybody hurt or harmed.
00:30:28.260 No.
00:30:28.480 When you – when you're such – and there's really no nice way to put it – when you're such an idiot that you would fall for this evil notion, what most people call liberal ideology.
00:30:40.880 It's just – Chad Wright, a dear friend of mine, he spoke at Turning Point USA, and he said, you know, we've got to stop calling this crap liberal ideology and call it for what it is.
00:30:52.560 It's evil.
00:30:54.480 And this notion that defunding the police is a liberal ideology or is the next evolution of our society, it's absolute evil.
00:31:05.600 And they're not going to stop with removing cops.
00:31:10.240 They're going to come after you.
00:31:12.120 They're going to come after your families.
00:31:13.880 They're going to come after your possessions, your lives, your safety, your well-being.
00:31:18.240 And you need to let your voice ring loud and clear in every town hall, in every city commission meeting, in every state legislator, from local to state to the national level.
00:31:33.560 You need to let your voices be heard and tell them to stop this nonsense and stop it yesterday.
00:31:39.760 Because if you don't have good cops, you're going to have a horrible world.
00:31:44.940 This world is evil.
00:31:47.160 It's full of pain.
00:31:48.520 It's full of brokenness.
00:31:50.160 It's full of people that have no regard for life.
00:31:54.020 And there's men and women that are willing to get up every day and put that uniform on and go and put their life in the way of yours so you can not ever have to worry about stuff like that.
00:32:05.400 And now, you know, you make a mistake and they're going to crucify you for it.
00:32:11.160 Adam Davis.
00:32:12.420 Front news.
00:32:12.880 TheAdamDavis.com, author of several books on spiritual combat, Behind the Badge, Bulletproof Marriage.
00:32:20.320 I want to talk more with you about what we can do to support those folks who are willing to still put their lives on the line.
00:32:28.460 Coming up here in just a little bit as well.
00:32:30.060 And if you're on the front lines serving in some way, you're going to want to hear what Adam has to say when we come back.
00:32:38.340 Stick with us.
00:32:39.520 More after this.
00:32:40.500 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:34:19.720 Adam Davis is here with us right now.
00:34:21.140 He's an author, former police officer, and he's written several books to help police officers,
00:34:27.080 especially folks who are on the front line during these times, on spiritual combat,
00:34:32.500 30 missions for victorious warfare with Lieutenant Colonel Dave Grossman,
00:34:37.120 behind the badge, 365 daily devotions for law enforcement, bulletproof marriage, the list goes on and on.
00:34:43.100 I know you've got a new one coming out or just did, Adam, but we'll let you talk about that.
00:34:47.960 But can you tell us, what are the things that we can do to help support law enforcement?
00:34:54.760 And where can law enforcement, maybe on the other side of the coin,
00:34:57.600 where can they get the help and support that they're looking for right now in these evil times?
00:35:03.700 You know what?
00:35:05.880 There's help everywhere you look.
00:35:10.120 You know, for my fellow law enforcement officers, I am honored to be a part of some incredible, incredible teams.
00:35:21.660 And, you know, if you're dealing with trauma, I want to point you to Reboot Recovery out of Nashville.
00:35:27.680 I know I'm not supposed to plug Organs, but they're a nonprofit.
00:35:30.900 If you're dealing with trauma, if you're dealing with issues, reach out to them.
00:35:35.660 And I'm actually their spokesperson, so I talk about them freely everywhere I go.
00:35:41.000 They're dear friends of mine.
00:35:43.660 I want you to reach out to them because they're going to be able to give you some help.
00:35:47.580 If you're lacking training in law enforcement, I'm an instructor with street top training.
00:35:53.400 And there's guys that can give you every type of training under the book.
00:35:57.580 And that's one of the issues that you see.
00:35:59.360 That's one of the issues that Kim Potter was facing. 1.00
00:36:01.980 They'll say, well, she has all this training over 26 years of her career, and she knows better.
00:36:08.780 You know, that's what they're saying is where she should have been able to perform under that type of stress.
00:36:13.160 And all the Monday morning quarterbacking.
00:36:15.160 Well, if you're in a department and you don't have training, then there's options out there is what I'm saying.
00:36:21.460 And, you know, I've got Behind the Badge.
00:36:23.320 That is the best-selling book I have, and I'm blessed over the past six years to being able to have mentor and coach law enforcement officers.
00:36:33.220 I don't want to see them, the good ones, I don't want to see them walk away because of, you know, different issues that they're having,
00:36:41.440 whether it's family issues, financial issues, or issues related to past events that they've had a response to.
00:36:50.740 And so there's help around the corner.
00:36:54.040 All you've got to do is ask.
00:36:55.640 But I also think that we have to do a better job as a society of respecting people who put their butts on the line for us.
00:37:05.160 And we've got away from being a culture of honor and respect.
00:37:10.280 And it's all about me, and it's all a consumer society.
00:37:14.160 And if you don't do things the way I want you to do them, then, you know, if you don't make me feel or whatever, then we trash you.
00:37:22.520 And we've just got to go back to where, you know, cops are the heroes again instead of the freaking criminals, man.
00:37:28.200 And this is a jacked-up, upside-down reality scenario here that's like the Matrix or something.
00:37:35.540 I don't know what we're dealing with, but what world do we live in where cops are the bad guys and the criminals are the heroes?
00:37:44.060 This is sort of the narrative they want to paint so that they can get their way.
00:37:49.560 At the end of the day, it's good versus evil.
00:37:52.060 And the good guys, well, they wear the badge and the duty belt.
00:37:55.480 And so I have a brand-new book out.
00:37:58.140 It's called Prayers and Promises for First Responders.
00:38:00.960 I've been wanting to do something for all first responders.
00:38:04.040 And Lieutenant Colonel Dave Grossman and I co-authored this one together.
00:38:07.980 It's done very well.
00:38:09.560 It was supposed to release in October, and it just released.
00:38:11.760 It was stuck on a ship for 45 days thanks to the Biden administration.
00:38:16.340 And, you know, we have to – yeah, I got it December 1st.
00:38:20.820 The book came in December 1st.
00:38:22.100 It's supposed to release in October.
00:38:23.300 Adam, I want to tell people where they can find you.
00:38:26.080 Obviously, get those books wherever books are sold.

00:38:39.380 Praying for you and praying for the rest of the folks in harm's way on a daily basis.

00:41:33.760 He is out once again, ladies and gentlemen.
00:41:35.660 When the Rona Report, the high priest of health, Mr. Booster, Dr. St. Anthony Fauci.
00:41:48.580 You know, it could be problematic.
00:41:51.880 The fact of the matter is, you know, we don't know what we don't know what we do know.
00:41:56.960 And both we don't know what we didn't know.
00:41:59.820 The guy makes note.
00:42:00.940 Is anybody still listening to him?
00:42:02.580 He is out once again trying to vouch who stole Christmas, trying to cancel Christmas again this year.
00:42:11.460 It's like every holiday, right?
00:42:13.480 They don't want us getting together.
00:42:15.460 That should be enough to tell you exactly what's going on.
00:42:18.820 They don't want you coming together.
00:42:22.260 Ever.
00:42:22.740 Because of the bug that has a 99 point whatever percent chance of, I mean, look, for some folks, let's be very reasonable.
00:42:32.620 Let's be very realistic.
00:42:34.000 For some folks, there are issues and there are concerns.
00:42:39.340 If you are immunocompromised, if you fall into a certain group of individuals that you need to look, maybe, I don't know, be a little more aware of these things.
00:42:50.220 I've got friends and family, people that I care about that are.
00:42:53.480 And, of course, you know, I support whatever decisions they're going to make.
00:42:58.440 And, look, I'm going to help in any way that I can.
00:43:03.320 But to say the rest of the world or the rest of America should be canceling Christmas.
00:43:09.880 In fact, they're canceling flights right now.
00:43:11.660 I just saw the latest over 3,000 disruptions, a growing list, Christmas flights canceled for folks.
00:43:21.200 And part of this is, I'm sure, has to do, there's no mistake here, has to be some of it that they just don't have enough personnel.
00:43:31.520 And I'm not sure exactly why that might be.
00:43:41.220 Maybe it's because no jab, no job.
00:43:43.740 I don't know.
00:43:44.400 But Fauci, who is out of control, and I'm really not sure who, I don't think most Americans are listening to him anymore.
00:43:54.140 But that doesn't matter because he will talk and talk and talk into the echo chamber that is CNN or MSNBC.
00:44:02.180 He refuses to go on any other show where he might face questions or criticism and honest curiosity, serious questions.
00:44:16.100 Like, what about natural immunity?
00:44:20.520 You know, we're told we can't question the science.
00:44:22.660 In all reality, that's because I am the science.
00:44:25.720 You can't question me.
00:44:27.760 I'm the high priest to health.
00:44:29.760 This new religion has taken over. 1.00
00:44:33.600 And they're telling you when you can and can't worship when you can and can't come together with your friends and family.
00:44:39.560 All the things, you know, they've got a whole list.
00:44:43.760 And now he wants to cancel Christmas again.
00:44:47.760 But this time, it's only for that group of filthy, unwashed.
00:44:54.760 If someone in your family isn't vaccinated, should you ask them not to show up?
00:44:58.300 Yes, I would do that.
00:45:01.200 I mean, I think we're dealing with a serious enough situation right now that if there's an unvaccinated person, I would say I'm very sorry. 1.00
00:45:09.080 But not this time.
00:45:10.400 Maybe another time when this is all over.
00:45:12.580 Not this time.
00:45:14.340 Maybe another time when this is all over.
00:45:16.640 Do you ever?
00:45:17.800 I mean, honestly, here's the next question.
00:45:19.920 Maybe you follow up with this.
00:45:24.000 When is this all over?
00:45:27.380 I mean, obviously, you're setting the timeline for this, doctor.
00:45:30.980 When is this all over?
00:45:32.880 What constitutes all over?
00:45:34.680 Because we can't get the truth out of anyone in the mainstream media.
00:45:42.200 We can't get the truth out of anyone in the White House.
00:45:44.380 We can't get the truth out of Fauci for sure.
00:45:47.400 I mean, the man who allegedly locked the beagles up in the cages and then had the bugs eat them while they were alive in the middle of the desert.
00:45:56.940 This is the man who we're listening to.
00:46:02.060 I just, I just, I just mind blown by this.
00:46:08.460 But I think that the truth is that most Americans aren't.
00:46:12.240 There's a handful of kooks.
00:46:14.400 There's a handful of wackos that wait with bated breath for Fauci to pass down from on high. 0.98
00:46:20.400 The latest commandments for all of us.
00:46:22.880 One mask, two mask, no mask, three mask, double mask, triple mask.
00:46:25.720 How many jabs should we get?
00:46:27.920 Is it time for another booster?
00:46:29.700 Oh, in fact, it is time for another booster.
00:46:34.940 We'll tell you who says that coming up here in a second.
00:46:37.560 But, you know, the truth is nobody's really paying attention or listening to this guy as much anymore.
00:46:48.040 I went out, I was, I don't really do this.
00:46:53.080 I don't shop anymore.
00:46:53.980 I don't go out to the stores as much anymore because, you know, everything shifted and changed.
00:46:59.740 The pandemic, you could get things delivered now.
00:47:02.440 You can go and pull up and they'll bring it to your car.
00:47:05.580 And for me, just the expediency of it, just how fast and efficient I can be.
00:47:10.640 I'd much rather grab something, type it into an app, pull up, have them bring it out, and then I'm gone.
00:47:17.860 Now, there are some times I like to get out.
00:47:21.280 It's not that I don't like people.
00:47:22.400 I just, I like to be efficient.
00:47:24.560 In fact, sometimes I like to people watch.
00:47:26.140 I was, I was in a big box store the other day.
00:47:31.840 I had to go in for a certain thing I had to get.
00:47:34.360 And a couple of things I thought were kind of interesting to note.
00:47:38.920 But number one, I think it was about 50-50 on masks.
00:47:42.240 People still, even though science is telling us, in fact, out of Michigan, where I'm at, I'm at Grand Rapids at WOD, Wood Radio, and they're telling us now, the state itself is admitting that there really is no difference between schools that had mask mandates and school districts that didn't.
00:48:04.720 Within the state of Michigan, over this first half of the year.
00:48:08.700 In fact, there's even some, this came from The Blaze, look it up at TheBlaze.com, the story that actually goes on to tell us, there's even some of this data that would point to the fact that masks made it a little worse, maybe, when it comes to cases and spread in schools.
00:48:27.920 We hear a lot about following the science, but we don't hear much about actual science.
00:48:32.880 We don't hear much about the truth.
00:48:35.020 What is the truth?
00:48:35.920 Well, the truth is, what we know about Omicron, the great and powerful Omicron, be afraid, be very afraid.
00:48:47.360 Well, we have to be afraid of all of it.
00:48:48.860 Delta, Omicron, Megatron, whatever's next, it doesn't matter.
00:48:52.540 Fear is really the answer.
00:48:54.300 That's what they want us to do, is be afraid of everything.
00:48:58.840 Afraid of our own shadows.
00:49:00.240 But we know some really good things that you don't hear in the news or reported.
00:49:08.960 Largely, we have information out of the UK and South Africa that Omicron variant is, while it's more infectious, it spreads easier, more transmissible.
00:49:20.760 So, it's not as deadly.
00:49:24.140 It's not as bad when it comes to the symptoms.
00:49:27.440 In fact, they're telling us now, I saw this meme floating around online, and I just had to chuckle.
00:49:34.340 It's perfect.
00:49:35.400 It says, you know, it's the television station's got the graphic up of top five Omicron symptoms, and it tells you runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing, sore throat.
00:49:45.600 And then, at the top of the meme, it says, back in the day, we used to call this a cold.
00:49:51.620 Now, look, I am not downplaying COVID.
00:49:56.500 In fact, I know various different people that have had it.
00:50:00.720 In fact, I think my wife and I think we had it.
00:50:05.500 We didn't even realize it.
00:50:06.940 And this was over a year ago.
00:50:09.380 We didn't realize it until her mom, who's a nurse, got it, lost her sense of smell and taste.
00:50:14.000 And this was a whole thing.
00:50:15.220 We thought, wait a minute.
00:50:16.160 Did we have it?
00:50:16.720 Now, we ought to probably go back and get the antibody test just to find out for sure.
00:50:21.340 But what's interesting is I know various different people that have had it, and it's really impacted them in many different ways.
00:50:29.300 I have a friend who I lost a friend.
00:50:34.320 And now he was fine.
00:50:35.760 He went into the hospital because he had some issues breathing.
00:50:39.280 He told me basically it was gone.
00:50:41.040 And then one day we were texting back and forth.
00:50:42.740 One day he just disappeared.
00:50:45.880 And I found out about a month later that he had just died.
00:50:51.360 I don't know if he died because of the virus, because of complications from the virus, or because of complications from the treatment he received in the hospital.
00:51:01.000 I don't know.
00:51:02.460 And people want to know.
00:51:03.900 They have questions about that.
00:51:05.340 I know several people that have had those issues, and people need answers.
00:51:11.820 But yet, we don't get them.
00:51:14.060 We get politics.
00:51:17.960 Throughout this entire process, we've gotten politics.
00:51:20.560 All meant to divide and distract us.
00:51:24.300 Politics.
00:51:27.900 Pushing each other against each other so that, you know, they can push this great reset nonsense.
00:51:34.560 Here's the deal.
00:51:35.340 In order to make the best decisions, this is the way the self-governance things work.
00:51:39.540 Because you've got to have all of the information.
00:51:44.720 Not just the bad news.
00:51:45.740 You've got to have the good news.
00:51:47.660 The good, the bad, and the ugly.
00:51:48.900 We've got to have it all.
00:51:50.920 But let's just look at some of the facts.
00:51:52.320 Today, 500 million shots.
00:51:53.760 They say it's a milestone day.
00:51:55.420 More than 200 million fully jabbed in America.
00:51:58.940 And 64 million with boosters.
00:52:00.640 And yet, Omicron is on the loose.
00:52:06.440 261,000 new cases yesterday.
00:52:12.300 So what does all of it mean?
00:52:15.760 Well, no wonder people are so confused.
00:52:18.440 Because they don't tell you the truth.
00:52:20.120 There may be some benefit to this Omicron.
00:52:22.740 I saw something.
00:52:24.420 I was in earlier.
00:52:25.260 I think 60%, they say, of Americans.
00:52:29.260 This is their model now.
00:52:30.640 May be infected by March.
00:52:34.720 This is out of the Daily Mail.
00:52:37.980 140 million new infections.
00:52:39.720 90% will never show symptoms.
00:52:41.880 That's the other piece.
00:52:43.780 So you're telling me, all of these people will be infected.
00:52:46.760 But they may never show symptoms.
00:52:48.340 It's a disease.
00:52:50.240 So deadly.
00:52:50.940 A virus so deadly.
00:52:52.360 That we must mandate that you take the jab.
00:52:56.220 Or lose your job.
00:52:57.380 But 90% will never know that they even had it.
00:53:02.920 And then this administration is out there telling people, you've got to get tested.
00:53:10.420 You've got to get tested.
00:53:10.980 Everybody ought to get tested.
00:53:12.300 Everyone go get tested.
00:53:13.340 That drives the case numbers up.
00:53:14.660 Let me ask you a question.
00:53:16.360 When they're busy mailing free tests to everyone, do you think they'll just save some time and send out mail-in ballots along with it so the 2022 midterms could just be taken care of and handled right at the same time?
00:53:29.680 Can we just mail out the, because we know that's where we're headed, folks.
00:53:34.060 Let's just get those on out to the mail and hand tests and ballots all at the same time.
00:53:42.880 The midterm variant.
00:53:45.480 Or Omicron.
00:53:46.240 It might actually be some good news that we should celebrate in all of this.
00:53:51.320 But what about a fourth shot?
00:53:52.960 Is a fourth shot on the way?
00:53:55.120 Maybe.
00:53:55.500 Maybe.
00:53:55.760 According to someone you may want to listen to.
00:54:00.260 Coming up next, you'll hear the latest on that.
00:54:02.200 And what about these OSHA mandates?
00:54:04.880 The legality of it all.
00:54:06.140 We'll talk with some inside OSHA whistleblowers coming up on the Glenn Beck program.
00:54:11.080 And for Glenn today, it's Justin Barkley back next.
00:54:13.040 Instead of just giving your kids and your grandkids more stuff this Christmas, give them the gift that will counteract leftist brainwashing.
00:54:25.820 It will help mold them into responsible adults and citizens who understand how our country, how our freedoms, how the economy works.
00:54:33.680 I'm talking about the growing library of resources from the Tuttle Twins.
00:54:38.440 They have toddlers and children's books that explore the principles of freedom using stories and pictures.
00:54:43.340 And stories about American heroes and entrepreneurship.
00:54:46.140 They even have a free market curriculum with lessons that can explore how the free market works.
00:54:50.900 So your kids at a very young age will understand supply and demand, inflation, and how government intervention affects the economy.
00:54:57.920 Giving these books and curriculum doesn't just help the kids you know.
00:55:01.000 It helps America because our children will lead the fight against leftism in the coming generation.
00:55:06.540 Go to TuttleTwinsBeck.com.
00:55:08.000 There's a holiday discount of 40% off and you can get the workbooks for free.
00:55:12.180 Give your kids and your country the gift of liberty.
00:55:16.320 TuttleTwinsBeck.com.
00:55:16.900 All right, so you've got the, are you fully, are you fully dosed?
00:55:28.040 Because, you know, in some places, maybe not.
00:55:31.660 Depending upon whether you've had your booster.
00:55:33.960 The booster!
00:55:35.860 Or the fourth, which may be coming, forthcoming, we'll just call it.
00:55:42.320 According to the resident, Joe Biden.
00:55:45.980 Let me ask you about what we heard from Israel overnight.
00:55:49.300 They're already moving forward with a second booster now.
00:55:52.840 So this would be the fourth shot for people 60 and older and for frontline medical workers.
00:55:57.440 Is that something you're considering?
00:55:59.960 I listened to the scientist.
00:56:02.440 And I'm sure the scientist is paying very close attention to that.
00:56:05.900 There may be a need for another booster.
00:56:08.180 But that remains to be seen.
00:56:09.700 So it remains a possibility?
00:56:11.300 It remains a possibility.
00:56:12.240 I'm waiting to hear what they tell me at Pfizer.
00:56:16.300 And then, whatever Fauci says, I'll go along with.
00:56:23.620 A fourth?
00:56:24.820 Come on, man.
00:56:25.580 I mean...
00:56:27.620 Come on, man.
00:56:30.740 I mean, I don't know.
00:56:35.640 Look, I think we've gotten this...
00:56:37.740 I'm not...
00:56:38.400 Look, I don't have a white lab coat.
00:56:40.500 I'm not a doctor.
00:56:41.380 If you want to go through all those things that people like to talk about online.
00:56:45.620 Oh, are you a doctor to your medical degree?
00:56:48.440 Folks, I don't...
00:56:49.340 You don't need it.
00:56:50.120 It's critical thinking to just make some of these calls from the very beginning.
00:56:55.180 It's very obvious what we should have done.
00:57:01.220 It's painfully obvious.
00:57:06.720 We should have protected the folks who were the most vulnerable.
00:57:11.000 Instead, governors in states like mine here in Michigan, a handful of them, all Democrats,
00:57:17.520 sent some of those vulnerable folks out of hospitals into nursing homes, infecting and killing thousands in this state alone.
00:57:30.980 And yet, there's really not any accountability for any of that.
00:57:34.900 Even in Andrew Cuomo, who's now gone and out of the picture, it's only because of his Me Too moments,
00:57:40.640 we don't really see any accountability for that.
00:57:44.060 Although I did see, I think this is nice, in New Jersey, it looks like there's a payout.
00:57:54.240 Janice Dean posted this today on Twitter.
00:57:57.080 New Jersey to pay out $52.9 million to families of vets who died in their state-run homes.
00:58:06.060 So maybe there's a little bit of accountability.
00:58:09.960 But who made that decision?
00:58:11.260 Are they still in power?
00:58:14.060 I think those questions are important.
00:58:20.300 And they should be answered.
00:58:24.060 In fact, we are now talking about a virus.
00:58:31.100 Looks like it's trending in a good direction.
00:58:33.340 Lots of folks are going to have immunity.
00:58:34.880 And 90%, according to the article we just read from the Daily Mail, right?
00:58:41.120 90% won't even know they had it.
00:58:46.040 I mean, that is great news.
00:58:49.580 Yet, you're not hearing that.
00:58:50.800 It's a doom and gloom.
00:58:53.520 Constant drumbeat of fear.
00:58:54.740 Any time you turn on CNN or the rest of them.
00:59:02.860 You have to ask your question yourself.
00:59:04.540 Why?
00:59:06.160 And how many boosters?
00:59:08.560 As Biden says now, maybe a fourth.
00:59:11.040 Well, if they can mandate that you get the first jab or two, certainly they can mandate whatever else that you might be forced.
00:59:25.320 Or they may be so inclined to tell you that you have to take.
00:59:29.560 Whether it's one, two, and how many for how long?
00:59:33.900 Is it possible?
00:59:37.400 Is it conceivable to think, maybe based on past experience here and performance, that you may have to take one every three, four, five, six months, whatever it is, at least yearly, and you may be mandated to do so because of the OSHA, Department of Labor mandates.
00:59:57.900 And speaking of those, are they even legal?
01:00:02.560 Well, we'll talk with some OSHA whistleblowers who say not so fast.
01:00:08.240 They'll tell you how things work behind the scenes with OSHA and how you can fight back if you're so inclined.
01:00:16.540 That's coming up.
01:00:17.520 Justin Barclay in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program back after this.
01:00:26.040 This is the Glenn Beck program.
01:00:28.480 You've heard me talking about my pillow for years and how it's changed the way I sleep.
01:00:34.060 Mike Lindell, the inventor of my pillow, fitted me personally for my own my pillow because I told him, I said, I don't think I really like him.
01:00:41.360 And he said, wait, I think you have the wrong one.
01:00:43.620 Got me the king size pillow.
01:00:45.100 It has changed the way I sleep.
01:00:46.720 It will not go flat.
01:00:48.160 You can wash and dry it constantly and it stays the same amazing shape.
01:00:51.620 You fluff it once before you go to sleep.
01:00:53.600 And it's that way.
01:00:54.700 Best of all, it's made right here.
01:00:56.620 So you don't have to worry about, are there going to be my pillows on the shelves?
01:01:01.000 Along with the lowest price offer, Mike is also extending his money back guarantee trial until March 1st of next year.
01:01:07.820 So it makes a great Christmas gift.
01:01:09.480 You can get the standard my pillow for $19.98, originally $69.98.

01:02:18.040 So in all of this, as we've just kind of been breaking out, part of the question is, what happens next?
01:02:24.300 Especially as we've got these mandates who were, they caught up in the courts in a lot of different ways.
01:02:30.960 SCOTUS now, Supreme Court, has agreed that they are going to hear arguments on Biden, specifically OSHA.
01:02:37.440 Next, I think the deadline is coming up, what, January 7th for oral arguments.
01:02:43.980 Kavanaugh asked the Biden administration to give all the information they had as to why these things should move forward.
01:02:51.540 And I've got to tell you, I don't know how confident I am that the Supreme Court will do the right thing.
01:03:03.020 However, I am very confident that other folks are out there doing the right thing.
01:03:10.540 And they're speaking up.
01:03:12.980 In fact, a couple of whistleblowers who have extensive, I think, extensive time with dealing with OSHA in their professions are on the line.
01:03:28.280 A couple of them right now.
01:03:29.640 Kristen Megan and Tammy Clark, who are from Michigan, where I'm at.
01:03:34.360 I've been very fortunate to meet these two individuals and get their credentials here in just a moment.
01:03:39.460 But they have been all over the country testifying on things like masks and now specifically these mandates.
01:03:48.340 Kristen and Tammy, thank you so much for being here with us.
01:03:50.580 Can you give us just a breakdown, if you can, Kristen and Tammy, of your credentials?
01:03:55.500 And Tammy, we'll start with you so that people know who you are and what they're dealing with here.
01:04:00.720 Some professionals.
01:04:01.400 Yes, sir.
01:04:03.740 Hi, thanks, Justin.
01:04:05.040 It's great to be with you today.
01:04:07.060 Yes, so I am an occupational and environmental health and safety professional.
01:04:11.320 I'm OSHA credentials.
01:04:12.900 I'm a court-approved subject matter expert, PPE, respiratory protection expert.
01:04:17.680 I've owned my own consulting business for nearly 20 years.
01:04:21.340 And I've worked with many different industries from construction to manufacturing, educational facilities, food service facilities, hospital systems.
01:04:29.340 I'm sitting on infectious disease control boards, planning committees, and basically advising industries, looking at what hazards would be in the workplace and how do we mitigate or control those hazards that employees might be exposed to.
01:04:43.120 So much of this involves PPE usage, respirator usage, fit testing, health hazard analysis, workplace analysis.
01:04:51.480 And so I have actually been credentialed through OSHA, the EPA, and the DOT, as well as having a typical bachelor's degree and that kind of thing.
01:05:00.200 So that's been my world for the last nearly 20 years.
01:05:04.020 And so when I heard about the mask mandates going into place, I thought, this is a joke.
01:05:08.200 There's no way that this can actually happen because it actually violates OSHA's own PPE and respiratory protection standards that have existed since 1979.
01:05:15.660 So that's a little bit about me and my background and how I got involved, stood up and became a whistleblower against this agency and became involved as an activist to expose the illegality and really criminality of all of this.
01:05:30.740 Kristen Megan, a little bit of expertise and experience there in the background.
01:05:35.260 What about you?
01:05:36.100 Well, thank you, Justin.
01:05:39.260 So glad to be on.
01:05:40.180 Yes.
01:05:40.480 So I have been working in the field of occupational and environmental toxicology for almost 20 years now.
01:05:47.300 Nine of that was on active duty in the Air Force.
01:05:49.880 And I also have combined involvement in public health, decontamination, site management, hazardous material management.
01:05:56.280 And just like Tammy, I'm credentialed through OSHA, through my science degrees.
01:05:59.680 I'm an exposure scientist through the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
01:06:03.660 It's basically preventive health.
01:06:07.160 This resonates so strongly with my profession because, like Tammy said, we are the ones, you know, doctors treat, we protect, and we're preventative.
01:06:16.240 So we go in and we basically anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control health hazards in an occupational setting and also what can attack the average layperson in an environmental setting.
01:06:25.560 So I personally have managed the respiratory protection program for well over 76,000 people, and I've tested well over 10,000 masks and respirators for their efficacy, fit factors, and protection factors.
01:06:36.380 So I also study the movement of air, which is very boring.
01:06:39.820 But I guess right now it's exciting because I can explain to you through Stokes Law calculations not to bore the viewers.
01:06:46.100 But I understand that aerosols stay in the air suspended for days.
01:06:49.140 So a lot of what OSHA is trying to do completely violates the knowledge that they have had for decades.
01:06:55.380 And this is how we know that they're guilty of revisionism and they're being strong-armed by this current administration.
01:07:01.040 Kristen Megan studies the air.
01:07:03.340 I'm just wondering, how about hot air and things that come out of Fauci's mouth?
01:07:07.020 Any expertise in it?
01:07:10.720 Let me just say this, because I think it's very interesting.
01:07:14.300 Throughout this entire thing, people have asked questions, and when you ask those questions, you're automatically demonized.
01:07:19.740 But I'm the kind of kid that, you know, I asked questions when I was in school, and I used to get in trouble for that.
01:07:25.060 So it's really no different nowadays.
01:07:27.360 I'm just curious.
01:07:28.280 I like to know the answers to these things.
01:07:29.980 One of the questions we quite often hear from doctors who will be propped out on television in white coats, et cetera, telling us, you know, the efficacy of this, that, or the other thing, specifically masks.
01:07:43.160 I'm just curious, Kristen and Tammy, who actually tells the doctors which form of PPE to wear or use and in which setting?
01:07:53.240 Do the doctors decide that for themselves, or is there someone else out there that might instruct them there?
01:07:59.980 Well, I'll answer that first, because another thing, and being embedded in healthcare for 12 of my 20 years, is I sit on the infection prevention and control committees, and everyone says, like, who tells doctors what to wear?
01:08:12.820 But what you have to understand is we don't just tell doctors what to wear.
01:08:15.400 We follow something called the hierarchy of controls, and we have things like ASHRAE standards that are ventilation and engineering standards.
01:08:21.360 Like, if you've had surgery and you go into an OR, it's like a wind tunnel, because you have negative pressure and positive pressure rooms and isolation rooms that are designed.
01:08:29.200 That's an engineering control.
01:08:30.780 So we do other things first before we even put healthcare workers in PPE.
01:08:35.780 But masks, historically, are not counted as PPE.
01:08:39.140 They're considered source control, but they're only source control for bodily fluids to keep a clean, sterile environment so that you're not getting spit and sputum and you sneeze droplets.
01:08:50.000 You don't want that going into a body cavity during sutures or surgery.
01:08:52.900 What it doesn't do is stop airborne particulates and aerosols.
01:08:56.560 If you are a doctor or a healthcare worker or a surgical assist and you're in an isolation unit where you have to provide surgery for a known infectious disease patient, let's say an active COVID positive patient or a TB patient, those people are in personal protective equipment with respiratory protection using things like powered air purifying respirators and controlled air purifying respirators.
01:09:17.380 People like myself and Tammy are the ones that tell healthcare workers what to wear, when, and why, because it's just like saying, wear a shoe.
01:09:26.560 Well, no, what kind of shoe?
01:09:28.180 Steel toe?
01:09:28.740 Like, you have to fit a protective factor to the hazard, and it has to be rated to protect against the hazard at hand, and masks, vaccines, all of this stuff is not going to stop the spread.
01:09:40.600 It's improper, false sense of protection.
01:09:43.020 It's a slap in the face of this profession, which is actually being ignored, and they're interviewing the white coats instead of the actual exposure scientists. 0.72
01:09:49.880 So, again, I thank you for having us on.
01:09:51.380 All right, so we got that out of the way.
01:09:54.060 Some of it goes over my head, but most of it I can hear is pretty much common sense.
01:09:59.560 So, ladies, let me ask you this.
01:10:00.880 Kristen, Megan, and Tammy Clark, you're experts in this field, you're OSHA whistleblowers.
01:10:05.860 This whole idea seems like I can poke holes in it just using critical thinking.
01:10:12.820 It seems like there might be some issues.
01:10:14.500 Let me just ask you what they are, because when I look at a mandate coming from OSHA in a situation where you're saying that everyone must get the jab or no job, that type of situation, that you've got to take this thing.
01:10:26.860 They don't even say which one you have to take.
01:10:29.560 There are three, I guess, and you can take any of the three you want.
01:10:32.280 I think they're all different.
01:10:33.620 Who knows?
01:10:34.020 They probably all perform differently in different ways.
01:10:37.260 But we've got to do that.
01:10:38.320 So then there's really, that's kind of an issue, because as you said earlier, if I'm told I have to wear a certain part of protection, be very specific on what that would be.
01:10:47.520 I need to wear a very specific type of mask in a certain situation or a very specific type of work boot in a certain situation.
01:10:54.260 So I think maybe there's a problem there.
01:10:56.060 But the other issue that I see is you've got to either take the jab or you have to be tested.
01:11:03.260 Well, what's interesting to me is that what we know now directly from the CDC, I mean, you don't have to go down a rabbit hole, but the CDC will figure this out for you and tell you that if you have been jabbed, you can still get it and you can still transmit it.
01:11:22.060 So if I can get it and still give it, what's the point then of taking two different groups of people and saying one has to test, the other doesn't?
01:11:30.800 And some of these other issues that we're seeing inside these mandates, are they legal?
01:11:38.660 No, absolutely not.
01:11:40.220 And this is why we've had three federal courts and judges rule against these mandates.
01:11:45.260 One of the judges actually said that Congress did not authorize CMS to enact this politically and economically vast federalism-altering and boundary-pushing mandate.
01:11:56.300 The Fifth Circuit stated that there are grave statutory and constitutionality concerns with what OSHA is trying to do.
01:12:03.540 So, of course, we know that the Biden administration went court shopping and they requested that the Sixth Circuit Court, actually, instead of the merits panel, they requested a special motion-turned-merits panel with two liberal judges and one conservative judge.
01:12:20.060 The two liberal judges ruled in favor, they basically lied and said that OSHA does have the authority, the statutory authority, to do what they're doing, when, in fact, they do not.
01:12:30.580 Only Congress gives OSHA, CMS, any regulatory agency, the authority to do what they're doing.
01:12:37.340 The Biden administration or the executive branch cannot simply turn to a regulatory agency and say, go make me a new standard or go do this.
01:12:45.940 We're going to use you to weaponize against the people to enforce what we want to do, our mandates or our new plan. 0.95
01:12:53.040 It doesn't work that way.
01:12:54.520 And the judges, the three courts, ruled very much along those lines saying that Congress did not authorize any of this.
01:13:00.780 So OSHA is way out of line.
01:13:02.800 So for the three-panel judge, the two-to-one ruling that came out of the Sixth Circuit, the dissenting judge, Judge Larson,
01:13:10.360 her analysis, her dissenting analysis was spot on, that OSHA absolutely is acting outside of their authority,
01:13:17.180 and especially when it comes to vaccines, because OSHA has no authority over vaccines.
01:13:21.960 Historically, even according to their own letters of interpretation, they have stated,
01:13:26.480 they responded to a state representative and stated that they do not have the authority to mandate vaccines.
01:13:32.980 The employer can mandate.
01:13:34.400 In fact, in the health care industry, employers can mandate the Hep B shot or the flu vaccine,
01:13:40.600 but even then, the employee has the choice to say no.
01:13:44.800 So they can require that, but if the employee then says, no, I'm not comfortable with that, they don't have to take it.
01:13:50.700 And OSHA will never, and they have never, cited the employer for not forcing or mandating it on the employee,
01:13:56.740 because it's always the employee's choice.
01:13:59.360 So this is way outside of the scope of OSHA's jurisdiction.
01:14:03.180 It's way outside of statutory authority for the Biden administration.
01:14:07.140 And vaccines are just simply not a control measure.
01:14:09.980 And I'll let Kristen get into that. 0.96
01:14:11.280 I'll pass it back to her to explain the controls, because in our field,
01:14:15.460 we always look at the hierarchy of safety and controls to control or mitigate hazards.
01:14:21.080 And we start at the top.
01:14:22.140 If you imagine an upside-down pyramid, we start at the top,
01:14:24.920 and then we work our way down to find which control measure will work.
01:14:29.020 So our government...
01:14:29.180 Ladies, hang on one second. 1.00
01:14:30.700 Got to take a break.
01:14:31.480 We'll come back and do that.
01:14:32.600 We'll explain that.
01:14:33.380 Plus, I want people to know, because there's some good news in all of this, too.
01:14:36.200 How do you fight back?
01:14:37.600 What can you do, and how can you make sure you're armed with the facts in these situations,
01:14:41.400 especially if you or someone you love is in a situation where these mandates are affecting you,
01:14:46.260 whether it's your job or maybe your business that's impacted?
01:14:49.600 Millions are, and they're hanging in the balance as the Supreme Court takes this up.
01:14:54.180 Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn Beck today.
01:14:55.880 We are back on the Glenn Beck Program right after this.
01:15:00.540 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:15:02.040 Happy holidays from the Fed.
01:15:14.900 They just gave us some, well, somewhat truthful reading about inflation for the first time this year.
01:15:20.020 What a way to wrap up the year, right?
01:15:21.440 Consumer prices and inflation have surged to a 39-year high.
01:15:25.740 It's the fastest pace in nearly four decades.
01:15:28.820 Energy prices up 34%, and you know how fast food costs are rising.
01:15:33.420 We all feel it.
01:15:34.320 On top of that, Biden is now trying to throw another $1.7 trillion into their social and climate plan,
01:15:40.940 which could potentially accelerate inflation even more.
01:15:44.220 At this point, it's just a matter of when and how bad.
01:15:47.960 The U.S. dollar is in extreme peril.
01:15:49.980 Gold and silver are a time-tested and conservative hedge against insanity, unrest, and potential hyperinflation.

01:16:09.900 866-GOLDLINE or goldline.com.
01:16:14.220 We're talking with OSHA whistleblowers who are talking about the mandates the Supreme Court set to hear oral arguments on this on the 7th.
01:16:29.380 I want to give folks the tool that they may need to fight back, but also the way to get all the information that these ladies are talking about. 1.00
01:16:36.300 Tammy Clark and Kristen Megan with us right now.
01:16:39.240 So, Tammy, there is a tool that has been specifically designed to help folks.
01:16:43.540 It's a white paper written by you, too, and a doctor, as well, that goes into great depth and detail on this.
01:16:49.020 Can you tell us about that and where folks can find it?
01:16:52.400 Sure.
01:16:52.980 It's StandUpMichigan.com.
01:16:54.680 That's StandUpMichigan.com, all one word.
01:16:58.260 You can find the paper that Kristen and I put together.
01:17:01.060 It has been peer-reviewed by several of the top exposure scientists, preventive health specialists, doctors, professional engineers, university professors.
01:17:10.880 And this basically gives you all of the information.
01:17:14.240 It goes through the talking points that you need to take to your HR department.
01:17:18.420 Yeah, the information, the science, the data, the statutory authority that OSHA has violated, how this is so outside of the law, what is legally allowable.
01:17:27.600 And you can take that to your employer and put them on constructive notice that what they're doing is breaking the law by going along with these illegal and unconstitutional mandates.
01:17:35.760 If you organize your like-minded colleagues, you organize a strike, you organize a walkout, there is great power in that, and that's how we, the people, take our power back.
01:17:43.760 Then you go give them this information, and you put them on constructive notice, and you don't allow it.
01:17:48.360 You basically inform them that this is medical tyranny, and we will not go along with it.
01:17:52.660 Everywhere that people have organized and striked or walked out, they have had those mandates rescinded within 24 hours in those workplaces.
01:17:59.000 So this is how you finish it in your own workplace while it's being finished at the court level.
01:18:03.560 We'll wait and see what happens.
01:18:06.680 We're all arguments coming up on the 7th, but in the meantime, you can get to work.
01:18:09.860 Go to standupmichigan.com, download that paper, and you'll be able to fight back.
01:18:15.360 Tammy Clark, Kristen Megan, thank you so much for joining us today.
01:18:18.180 People are standing up, and I tell you, I just, I think there's some good news.
01:18:24.860 We'll share some more of that coming up.
01:18:26.640 Ladies, thank you so much for being here with us.
01:18:28.220 We appreciate you.
01:18:29.040 Barkley in for Beck today.

01:18:38.420 More on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:18:40.760 Merry Christmas Eve after this.
01:18:46.860 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:18:48.800 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
01:19:13.120 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:19:22.940 Oh, folks, I know.
01:19:24.440 Look, it can really seem like things are dark.
01:19:30.440 And some are.
01:19:31.680 But during these times, we've got to make sure that we also look toward the light.
01:19:40.500 Some of the positive things, the good news, along with the bad, I'm trying to give it all to you.
01:19:46.980 As a matter of fact, there are some great stories out there, some real miracles that are happening in the midst of all this chaos swirling.
01:19:53.680 I'll try to bring you up to speed coming up.
01:19:57.900 One of those miracles happened in New York.
01:20:01.840 Barkley in for Beck next on the Glenn Beck Program.
01:20:09.560 You've heard me talking about my pillow for years and how it's changed the way I sleep.
01:20:14.040 Mike Lindell, the inventor of my pillow, fitted me personally for my own my pillow because I told him, I said, I don't think I really like him.
01:20:21.140 And he said, wait, I think you have the wrong one.
01:20:23.380 Got me the king size pillow.
01:20:24.860 It has changed the way I sleep.
01:20:26.500 It will not go flat.
01:20:27.940 You can wash and dry it constantly and it stays the same amazing shape.
01:20:31.360 You fluff it once before you go to sleep.

01:21:09.240 You know, oftentimes we hear about the doom and gloom, the constant drumbeat of fear.
01:21:24.960 The mainstream media is always telling us about how bad it's going to be.
01:21:29.260 And even worse, there's nothing you can do about it.
01:21:35.140 Well, that's not always the case.
01:21:38.160 In fact, there are plenty of good things happening all around us at every moment.
01:21:45.380 You just got to know when to look for them and how to find them.
01:21:52.220 Sometimes it's not so hard.
01:21:53.640 That's why I'm happy to share some of this really good news.
01:21:59.340 I don't know if you even followed this story.
01:22:03.500 It wasn't as widely reported.
01:22:05.440 But there's a great story out of New York now that has to be shared because I think you need to know that your voice matters and that people are making a difference.
01:22:18.980 She's a writer. 0.76
01:22:20.580 Kay Smythe is with us right now and has some of the story out of the National Pulse.
01:22:26.480 Kay, thanks for being here with us today.
01:22:27.760 Merry Christmas.
01:22:29.380 Oh, Merry Christmas.
01:22:30.480 Thank you so much for having me, Justin.
01:22:32.060 I really appreciate it.
01:22:33.560 I'm very excited to share this story, too.
01:22:37.060 I think, you know, we all need a little bit of good news.
01:22:39.360 It's been another rough year for most people.
01:22:42.140 And I mean, it's kind of a big one.
01:22:45.260 Like, I was really surprised that my reportage, you know, I'm just a writer.
01:22:50.820 Like, that's all I do.
01:22:51.800 But it was kind of exciting to see my writing actually have a real-world impact.
01:22:58.200 I don't know if you want to kind of describe what happened or if you'd like me to.
01:23:01.880 Yeah, so tell us the story and where this came from initially, because this is a spooky story.
01:23:09.480 And it kind of went out under the radar largely, other than folks like you who are reporting this, out of New York State, there was a law, a really draconian law bill that was being proposed.
01:23:22.900 Tell us what that was about.
01:23:23.840 Well, this bill, A416, was proposed actually sort of like six years ago, something like that, during the Ebola epidemic by an assemblyman out of Brooklyn.
01:23:38.860 And his name's Nick Perry.
01:23:40.700 And this piece of legislation, I mean, it's the kind of thing that you wouldn't even put in a dystopian Netflix series or something like that.
01:23:54.420 Like, because it was just so insane.
01:23:56.320 The way that it was written, essentially, anyone either suspected of having a contagious disease, who's been exposed to someone with a contagious disease, groups of people who may or may not have even been exposed, but again, were suspected of being exposed to any kind of contagious disease.
01:24:16.220 And this bill would essentially allow for the governor and his or her, you know, people of choice, it would allow for them to remove and detain those individuals suspected of having a contagious disease from day to day life.
01:24:35.360 And the way that the language in the bill was scripted essentially allowed for that detainment to go on indefinitely.
01:24:43.700 So, like, sort of like an example would be, you know, say, you know, we ended up having a Christmas party together.
01:24:52.140 Someone at that Christmas party contracted COVID, went and got tested at a hospital.
01:24:57.120 The person that was tested positive for COVID could have been held indefinitely, would have had vaccinations forced upon them.
01:25:07.240 So all of their sort of medical free will would have been removed.
01:25:09.680 And then all of us at that party could also have been detained and held indefinitely.
01:25:16.480 And the way that the law was written, had it actually passed into law, you know, there was sort of like one of the first clauses or something like, oh, you know, people can only be held for three days.
01:25:28.040 But the governor can actually hold them for 60 days and then you're allowed to appeal every 90 days.
01:25:34.940 And I was like, well, how does that apply to people who have contagious diseases that can't be cured?
01:25:40.960 Like what happens to HIV positive individuals and other other kind of long term what what you know, what becomes contagious for chronic conditions?
01:25:52.420 And I don't know if this was Nick Perry's office, just, you know, throwing out a Hail Mary.
01:26:00.000 Like I it's the logic behind this law that is really spooking me.
01:26:05.560 And I don't I don't know if we'll ever really get an answer as to why Nick Perry thought that this would be a conceivable piece of legislation.
01:26:15.780 I mean, it could have landed his own mother and, you know, quarantine detainment for the rest of her life.
01:26:21.280 Like the way it was written was just it was either put together very haphazardly or very purposefully.
01:26:28.420 And either way, I mean, that's kind of terrifying.
01:26:31.600 But so this piece of legislation has come up in the news every sort of couple of years or so.
01:26:37.820 Someone's like, why is this being reconsidered?
01:26:40.320 And actually, at the start of this year, someone else reported on it, I guess.
01:26:45.020 I didn't find this out until later while I was actually researching the bill.
01:26:48.760 But someone else reported on it and it kind of circulated a little bit through social media.
01:26:52.860 I didn't hear of it at the time.
01:26:54.700 And then when I was actually sent some information on it by the team at the National Pulse, I was like, well, this is absolutely ridiculous.
01:27:02.360 And all I did was describe the language in the legislation in this piece that I wrote.
01:27:08.760 Again, went viral online.
01:27:11.120 And even though people have been calling out this piece of legislation for years that it needed to be removed and destroyed, I guess something something changed this time.
01:27:21.140 Two days after the article was released, Nick Perry went and, you know, called us all trolls and misinformation spreaders.
01:27:28.620 And I was like, dude, all we did was, like, report on the thing that you wrote.
01:27:31.980 But he actually pulled the piece of legislation and it's done.
01:27:37.480 Like, he's not going to throw it back into the session.
01:27:40.040 I'm hoping it never comes up again.
01:27:42.340 But it's done.
01:27:43.380 It's gone.
01:27:44.020 No one's going to be detained for, you know, contracting COVID or refusing medical treatment or vaccination.
01:27:51.240 So it's a piece of good news, you know, like we pointed a finger at something that was seriously wrong with leadership and their treatment of people, like something that was inherently anti-freedom, anti-American ideals.
01:28:05.400 And they said, oh, yeah, sorry.
01:28:07.460 OK, we're done.
01:28:08.140 We'll get rid of it.
01:28:09.000 Well, he didn't say sorry.
01:28:10.020 Like, he's not going to accept ownership for the fact that he tried to institute this insanity.
01:28:15.040 But, yeah, the piece of legislation was pulled and won't be coming up for consideration in New York.
01:28:21.780 So, yeah, Merry, Merry Christmas, New York.
01:28:24.780 It was a nice little surprise for us.
01:28:27.380 That's a piece of good news, especially in places like New York and I think in San Francisco, I saw that now a kid's five and up will have to prove that they've been jabbed in order to go into restaurants and things like that.
01:28:37.960 I mean, these types of things that are happening on the surface, you know, Nick Perry calls folks that were talking about this conspiracy theorists.
01:28:46.580 But you really don't have to go too far down the rabbit hole to see things that are happening in other places, not just America, but, you know, Australia and some of these other places.
01:28:55.600 You never thought you'd see them.
01:28:56.660 And we hear quite a bit when people see these things and say, it'll never happen here.
01:29:01.540 But, I mean, really, what's keeping it?
01:29:07.380 Like, we've already done that, like, throughout our history.
01:29:10.280 It happens everywhere.
01:29:12.780 Yeah, I wish I could have that kind of optimistic mindset, but the data just doesn't allow for it in this day and age.
01:29:19.800 You know, there are bad actors who want to do whatever is possible to, you know, remove members of the population.
01:29:28.540 It's kind of scary.
01:29:32.060 And, like, look at it, like, even the language that he used.
01:29:34.260 He was like, oh, these people are conspiracy theorists.
01:29:36.680 I was like, again, dude, all we did was report on a law that you were proposing.
01:29:43.120 We didn't change the language.
01:29:45.440 We didn't even add any hyperbole.
01:29:48.260 It was just this is what your law could allow in reality.
01:29:52.680 So that's not OK.
01:29:54.360 And, you know, the people spoke and he listened and he got rid of it.
01:29:57.520 But it is a piece of good news and some hope, I think.
01:30:01.640 Much needed in this day and age.
01:30:03.300 Kay Smythe is a writer.
01:30:04.260 She writes for The National Pulse, amongst other places, and thenationalpulse.com.
01:30:08.160 Kay, where can folks find you on social media?
01:30:11.620 Wow.
01:30:12.060 Oh, wonderful.
01:30:13.060 So my social media is just the beauty of having a ridiculous name.
01:30:17.960 So it's just at Kay Smythe.
01:30:20.060 That's K-A-Y-S-M-Y-T-H-E. 1.00

01:30:26.520 Had some really fun guests on there.
01:30:28.740 You know, I try to use it as an opportunity to just have conversations that I would have in normal day-to-day life with, like, very cool, very influential people.
01:30:37.320 So it's at Kay Smythe, K-A-Y-S-M-Y-T-H-E.
01:30:41.660 And then Kay Saves the USA.
01:30:43.400 And, yeah, you can find me at The National Pulse.
01:30:44.860 You can find me at The Daily Caller.
01:30:46.460 I've written some stuff for The Spectator.
01:30:48.200 I'm sort of all over the place.
01:30:49.320 I just put words in order and hope they make a difference.
01:30:52.960 Hey, thanks for reporting those things because we have a choice nowadays.
01:30:57.660 Folks aren't reporting everything.
01:30:59.580 And, in fact, they're leaving large amounts of the truth out of their reporting a lot of times.
01:31:05.520 And that makes a difference.
01:31:06.760 Thank you, Kay.
01:31:07.240 I appreciate it.
01:31:08.660 Well, thank you for everything you do, too, Justin.
01:31:10.740 I really, really appreciate you having me on today.
01:31:13.160 You know, God bless you, your family, everyone there.
01:31:15.520 And have a very Merry Christmas.
01:31:17.740 Merry Christmas.
01:31:18.720 More of the good news coming up.
01:31:20.020 We'll shine a light on some of the great things that are happening.
01:31:22.480 Yes, miracles, too.
01:31:23.860 Some stories that are absolutely miraculous.
01:31:26.140 I think there really is no better day than today to talk about those things.
01:31:31.440 Christmas Eve.
01:31:32.440 Merry Christmas, folks.

01:32:38.180 Rectech.com.
01:32:39.240 Hey, Justin Barkley back here for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program, and as I mentioned earlier, lots of good news still to come.
01:32:52.020 In fact, a story.
01:32:54.300 I don't know if you've been paying attention to this, but it has roots in my backyard.
01:33:02.040 A story of missionaries kidnapped and held hostage in Haiti.
01:33:14.800 They were there for quite some time.
01:33:18.140 They were there to do the Lord's work.
01:33:24.060 And in fact, as they were making their way through one of the suburbs, near Port-au-Prince, I believe it was,
01:33:34.400 they were taken hostage by a group of gang members
01:33:38.260 who then went on to demand a $1 million ransom for these folks.
01:33:44.780 And we had, where I'm at, in West Michigan, a group of these folks who were from our area.
01:33:57.100 These missionaries weren't just adults.
01:34:00.900 They were children.
01:34:01.640 In fact, I believe an infant with them as well.
01:34:05.860 The kidnappers demanding a $1 million ransom.
01:34:08.780 And as you know, in a time, a day, and age when the, maybe the question of whether the federal government here,
01:34:21.100 the United States, is going to protect their people and bring them back home safely in any situation is being questioned.
01:34:32.940 I mean, you can imagine what these folks and their families were going through.
01:34:36.040 Kidnappers wanted a million dollars ahead for each person.
01:34:43.580 Given that these were American citizens,
01:34:46.380 they may get it.
01:34:49.420 Especially with this administration.
01:34:51.400 So the news that came the other day that these folks had been released,
01:34:56.280 as I know, folks in Michigan had prayed for their safe return home.
01:35:01.280 People were very excited about this.
01:35:04.760 I was one of them.
01:35:06.040 But then, as the question started to come in, wait a minute.
01:35:13.380 Did someone pay a ransom?
01:35:15.040 You know, we don't negotiate with terrorists.
01:35:16.880 We don't pay ransom.
01:35:17.780 That sort of thing.
01:35:19.020 What happened here?
01:35:21.940 Oh, the story slowly started to sneak out.
01:35:27.340 Now, these folks weren't released, but something much, much bigger, much more miraculous happened.
01:35:41.820 According to Christian Aid Ministries, that's the group that sent those folks on the mission there.
01:35:50.820 And CBN News.
01:35:53.160 Those kidnapped evangelists didn't get a ransom.
01:35:58.580 They weren't released.
01:35:59.600 They chose a much bolder path of escaping their captors under the dead of night.
01:36:11.460 With their children in tow.
01:36:15.060 And folks.
01:36:16.460 It is.
01:36:18.600 A God-filled and miraculous story.
01:36:23.000 Here's what they say.
01:36:26.900 The hostages were sensing God nudging them to an attempt and escape.
01:36:32.740 According to the ministry spokesman, Weston Showalter.
01:36:37.520 Over the time of their captivity, God gave various hostages a desire to attempt an escape.
01:36:45.460 After much discussion and prayer, they became solidly united that God seemed to be leading them this way.
01:36:54.160 They said they sought specific signs from God.
01:36:59.280 And he confirmed over and over that the timing just wasn't quite right yet.
01:37:10.200 And then something changed.
01:37:14.680 The night of Wednesday, December 15th.
01:37:18.280 They sensed the timing was right.
01:37:28.920 They found a way to open the door that was closed and blocked where they were being held.
01:37:40.960 They filed silently to the path that they had chosen to follow.
01:37:45.220 quickly left the place they were held, despite the fact that numerous guards were close by.
01:37:53.800 I mean, can you imagine?
01:37:55.380 If they're caught, if they're found trying to escape, what could happen?
01:38:00.700 We're getting reports of what happened and what the conditions were like when they were there.
01:38:04.420 What they were fed.
01:38:05.820 And it wasn't great.
01:38:07.460 Many of them not being able to actually take showers because the water wasn't really clean.
01:38:18.520 They developed sores.
01:38:20.880 I mean, these folks could have been killed.
01:38:22.620 Their lives were on the line.
01:38:23.680 It's not just them.
01:38:26.120 They're kids, too.
01:38:27.380 So when they sensed the timing was right, they opened that door.
01:38:33.100 Can you imagine the courage, the boldness, the faith it takes to move forward?
01:38:43.020 What happened next is, in fact, a miracle.
01:38:58.120 And they are now home.
01:39:02.580 Safe, sound.
01:39:04.740 And that story, coming up, it's the good news that I believe you need to hear, especially this time of year, because we're constantly being bombarded.
01:39:28.680 Over and over again, with fear, constantly being bombarded with the negative news, the horrific headlines.
01:39:40.160 And what's missing, on purpose, is the hope.
01:39:47.960 Don't feel hopeless.
01:39:50.420 Don't feel helpless.
01:39:53.740 Because miracles are happening all around us.
01:39:58.680 And, boy, is there some good news to share.
01:40:02.900 The rest of that story, and a little more hope, after this.
01:40:12.020 It's Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program on Christmas Eve.

01:41:39.860 888-727-BECK.
01:41:40.860 888-727-BECK.
01:41:42.660 Yes, folks, it is a Christmas miracle.
01:41:46.960 And I believe one of the stories we ought to hear more about.
01:41:52.480 In fact, it kind of got swept a bit under the rug.
01:41:56.900 They told us originally that these missionaries being held hostage in Haiti were released.
01:42:05.800 But that wasn't the full story.
01:42:09.160 In fact, they had escaped.
01:42:13.480 And there's a little more truth to this story than I think probably the reason why we're not hearing it all.
01:42:20.960 I told you that the folks from the organization that sent them on the mission had a little bit more to the story.
01:42:31.820 Christian Aid Ministries.
01:42:33.140 CBN News reports that these folks had prayed.
01:42:41.140 They had asked God for signs.
01:42:44.420 All while they were being held hostage.
01:42:47.440 I think it goes back to October.
01:42:49.140 Should they escape.
01:42:56.220 Eventually, through that prayer,
01:43:01.340 they believed they received the sign that it was time for them to go.
01:43:11.140 And so they did.
01:43:17.520 After much discussion and prayer,
01:43:20.000 I told you that they opened the door.
01:43:24.060 Normally, this door closed and blocked.
01:43:31.320 They found a way to open it.
01:43:36.620 That's when they slipped out the hands of their captors.
01:43:44.560 They filed silently into the night.
01:43:49.920 Despite the fact that numerous guards were close by.
01:44:01.740 They could have been killed.
01:44:04.360 Beaten.
01:44:05.880 Who knows?
01:44:08.060 And their children as well.
01:44:13.300 There must have been some
01:44:14.740 divine protection.
01:44:19.920 In the distance,
01:44:25.460 they could see a mountain feature.
01:44:28.180 One they'd recognized and identified days before.
01:44:34.340 They identified that landmark.
01:44:38.160 And knew that
01:44:39.440 was the direction they needed to go.
01:44:42.680 They also used
01:44:48.280 the guidance
01:44:50.140 of the stars.
01:44:53.940 According to the report as well.
01:44:58.600 As they traveled
01:44:59.860 through the night
01:45:01.780 to safety.
01:45:06.300 After a number of hours walking
01:45:08.480 with their kids,
01:45:14.760 some of them even carrying
01:45:16.100 these children,
01:45:21.020 day began to dawn.
01:45:27.160 Eventually,
01:45:27.860 they found someone
01:45:28.900 who would help them
01:45:30.640 make a phone call.
01:45:31.680 the man describing
01:45:40.560 the story
01:45:41.240 as his voice
01:45:43.540 began to choke.
01:45:49.280 They were
01:45:50.020 finally
01:45:50.620 free.
01:45:52.500 What a story.
01:46:05.360 Break open the door
01:46:06.360 in the middle of the night.
01:46:08.080 They sneak past guards.
01:46:10.240 Follow the stars
01:46:11.240 on a mountain
01:46:11.940 to safety.
01:46:13.880 Walking hours.
01:46:17.240 Their kids.
01:46:18.140 Even an infant.
01:46:25.140 What a story.
01:46:30.980 One that I know
01:46:32.000 I need.
01:46:37.700 Especially in days like this.
01:46:42.860 As dark.
01:46:45.280 As dark as it may seem.
01:46:48.140 There are moments
01:46:51.080 of bright,
01:46:54.820 brilliant
01:46:55.360 light
01:46:56.380 shining through.
01:47:01.280 And you know,
01:47:02.380 it doesn't
01:47:02.960 often really take
01:47:04.400 that much.
01:47:07.420 This is
01:47:08.220 a story
01:47:09.060 fit for
01:47:11.220 Hollywood.
01:47:13.440 Now we know
01:47:14.480 how they work.
01:47:15.280 whether they
01:47:18.400 will produce
01:47:19.600 this
01:47:20.100 film
01:47:21.160 or someone else
01:47:24.040 with a faith-based
01:47:25.880 background.
01:47:27.100 Those stories
01:47:27.980 keep getting
01:47:28.440 better and better.
01:47:29.740 The productions
01:47:30.260 have made
01:47:32.160 giant leaps
01:47:33.580 lately
01:47:33.960 for those types
01:47:34.980 of films.
01:47:35.960 But I can tell you
01:47:37.260 it will be
01:47:40.900 hugely
01:47:41.880 profitable.
01:47:42.640 Why?
01:47:46.580 Because
01:47:47.380 in the times
01:47:48.920 that we're in
01:47:49.920 what we face
01:47:52.780 on a daily basis
01:47:53.880 people
01:47:55.560 are hungry.
01:47:59.580 They're starving
01:48:00.920 for this type of news.
01:48:06.780 the fact
01:48:13.120 that miracles
01:48:14.020 are happening
01:48:15.080 all around us
01:48:16.480 is just
01:48:22.600 something
01:48:22.880 that we need
01:48:23.540 to know.
01:48:26.540 You know,
01:48:27.260 and I hear this story
01:48:28.140 and I think
01:48:28.540 to myself,
01:48:29.160 being held captive
01:48:37.740 constantly bombarded
01:48:42.340 with fear
01:48:42.840 if they try
01:48:47.260 to escape
01:48:47.820 if they make
01:48:49.820 any sort of move
01:48:50.760 they face
01:48:52.080 some sort
01:48:53.980 of
01:48:54.280 retribution
01:48:55.880 by their
01:48:57.420 their captors
01:48:59.580 and yet
01:49:01.880 they had
01:49:04.400 faith
01:49:04.840 they believed
01:49:07.600 that they would
01:49:09.140 make it out
01:49:09.940 that God
01:49:12.260 had a plan
01:49:12.940 and they just
01:49:15.600 trusted
01:49:17.340 that he would
01:49:19.420 provide
01:49:19.960 and protect.
01:49:22.420 and so
01:49:25.340 they took
01:49:25.800 the first step
01:49:26.860 they opened
01:49:30.020 that door
01:49:30.600 and their
01:49:32.740 journey to
01:49:33.200 freedom began
01:49:33.900 and folks
01:49:36.600 I can't
01:49:37.980 help but 0.92
01:49:38.880 think
01:49:39.320 how many
01:49:40.780 of us
01:49:41.400 in any
01:49:44.760 situation
01:49:49.140 we might
01:49:49.840 be facing
01:49:50.380 today
01:49:50.860 might
01:49:54.960 parallel
01:49:55.440 exactly
01:49:56.140 what they
01:49:56.560 were going
01:49:57.000 through.
01:49:59.380 Sure
01:50:00.020 look around
01:50:02.160 on the
01:50:03.140 surface
01:50:03.660 it seems
01:50:04.880 grim
01:50:05.260 time
01:50:06.700 seemed
01:50:06.980 dark
01:50:07.440 being held
01:50:12.420 captive
01:50:12.980 but their
01:50:18.920 faith
01:50:19.400 held the
01:50:20.220 key
01:50:20.560 to set
01:50:21.360 them
01:50:21.520 free
01:50:21.840 all
01:50:25.240 they had
01:50:25.720 to do
01:50:26.260 was
01:50:31.960 trust
01:50:32.200 God
01:50:32.580 and
01:50:36.120 take
01:50:36.420 the
01:50:37.140 first
01:50:37.420 step
01:50:37.760 how many
01:50:41.780 of us
01:50:42.220 are in
01:50:42.780 the exact
01:50:43.380 same
01:50:43.900 position
01:50:44.500 today
01:50:46.420 what a
01:50:53.480 miracle
01:50:53.840 what a
01:50:55.000 story
01:50:55.400 just in

01:53:04.960 Sam

01:53:05.600 learned

01:53:07.360 baby
01:53:07.760 had a

01:53:08.400 compressing
01:53:09.040 the
01:53:09.200 heart
01:53:09.540 her
01:53:09.920 doctors
01:53:10.320 would need
01:53:10.660 to perform

01:53:11.580 to keep
01:53:13.540 the baby
01:53:13.920 alive
01:53:14.540 everything
01:53:16.320 was perfectly
01:53:17.080 fine
01:53:17.660 it wasn't
01:53:20.260 until our

01:53:21.860 which was
01:53:22.600 27 April
01:53:23.560 27 that's when
01:53:24.600 we found out
01:53:25.260 there was
01:53:26.020 something wrong
01:53:26.880 according to
01:53:29.020 Sam
01:53:29.340 she and her 0.76
01:53:31.920 husband David
01:53:32.400 were told
01:53:32.780 that they
01:53:33.060 needed
01:53:33.280 surgery
01:53:33.640 to remove
01:53:34.060 the tumor
01:53:34.580 which was
01:53:35.500 pressing on
01:53:36.020 the left

01:53:37.160 the baby's

01:53:38.100 and causing
01:53:39.400 issues with
01:53:40.100 circulation
01:53:40.660 it was
01:53:41.220 hard
01:53:41.660 even after
01:53:42.760 the day
01:53:43.040 we found
01:53:43.460 out about
01:53:43.880 him
01:53:44.020 I had
01:53:44.260 to go

01:53:47.400 is going

01:53:57.120 surgery was
01:53:58.260 underway
01:53:58.760 surgery which
01:54:01.340 had only
01:54:01.780 been performed
01:54:02.440 successfully
01:54:03.040 once before
01:54:03.900 presented plenty
01:54:05.220 of its own
01:54:05.760 challenges
01:54:06.220 there's
01:54:06.680 not a ton
01:54:07.920 of
01:54:08.040 you know
01:54:10.100 it's a
01:54:10.400 handful of
01:54:11.060 cases
01:54:11.440 Dr.
01:54:11.900 Daryl
01:54:12.180 Cass
01:54:12.480 the director
01:54:13.020 of fetal
01:54:14.600 surgery
01:54:15.060 the Cleveland
01:54:16.640 Clinic
01:54:16.940 told the
01:54:18.360 folks at
01:54:18.720 the Today
01:54:19.020 Show
01:54:19.260 we want
01:54:19.640 to be
01:54:19.900 sure
01:54:20.460 that we're
01:54:20.960 going to
01:54:21.520 do the
01:54:21.840 right thing
01:54:22.700 the tumor
01:54:24.560 was growing
01:54:25.140 and they
01:54:26.080 wanted to
01:54:26.540 remove it
01:54:27.120 to remove
01:54:31.020 the tumor
01:54:31.500 the team
01:54:31.940 had to
01:54:32.240 surgically
01:54:32.700 open her
01:54:33.480 abdomen
01:54:33.960 the mother's
01:54:34.500 abdomen
01:54:34.800 and uterus 0.96
01:54:35.380 then they
01:54:35.800 were able
01:54:36.320 to lift
01:54:36.940 the baby's
01:54:37.920 arms
01:54:38.360 into the
01:54:39.220 chest cavity
01:54:39.820 remove the
01:54:40.340 tumor
01:54:40.600 and restore
01:54:41.040 blood flow
01:54:41.660 the surgeons
01:54:42.980 then repositioned
01:54:44.060 the baby
01:54:44.420 in the womb
01:54:45.000 to continue
01:54:45.540 the pregnancy
01:54:46.140 although she
01:54:48.620 wasn't able
01:54:49.100 to hold
01:54:49.540 or console
01:54:50.060 her baby
01:54:50.540 immediately
01:54:50.920 after the
01:54:51.400 surgery
01:54:51.700 she talked
01:54:52.300 to him
01:54:52.600 every day
01:54:53.240 I would
01:54:54.280 talk to him
01:54:54.820 all the time
01:54:55.340 she said
01:54:55.920 I would
01:54:56.760 just tell him
01:54:57.360 that everything's
01:54:57.900 going to be
01:54:58.200 okay
01:54:58.620 and I got
01:55:00.000 you
01:55:00.220 we're going
01:55:00.760 to get
01:55:00.980 through this
01:55:01.680 and come
01:55:02.120 out strong
01:55:02.800 she delivered
01:55:04.660 the baby
01:55:05.220 Ryland
01:55:06.020 10 weeks
01:55:06.580 after the
01:55:07.040 surgery
01:55:07.380 on July
01:55:07.840 13th
01:55:09.160 she said
01:55:09.440 looking back
01:55:09.980 the surgery
01:55:10.380 is wild
01:55:10.860 to think
01:55:11.280 about
01:55:11.620 we tell
01:55:12.900 the story
01:55:13.280 to people
01:55:13.720 and they're
01:55:14.000 just like
01:55:14.480 wait a minute
01:55:15.020 they did
01:55:15.460 what
01:55:15.840 yeah
01:55:17.640 they did
01:55:18.660 that
01:55:18.980 they saved
01:55:19.920 him
01:55:20.160 it's amazing
01:55:21.260 it's a miracle
01:55:23.440 and he is a
01:55:25.220 beautiful baby
01:55:25.840 boy today
01:55:26.820 looking at his
01:55:28.420 pictures today
01:55:29.140 five months
01:55:29.820 old
01:55:30.120 something that
01:55:30.800 my wife
01:55:31.280 and I
01:55:31.760 know a thing
01:55:35.180 or two
01:55:35.460 about
01:55:35.860 is our
01:55:37.120 little girl
01:55:37.580 was born
01:55:38.240 three months
01:55:40.100 early
01:55:40.540 about this
01:55:42.020 time last
01:55:42.580 year
01:55:42.880 we spent
01:55:46.780 77 days
01:55:48.120 in the
01:55:48.420 hospital
01:55:48.980 Christmas
01:55:50.500 looks a lot
01:55:51.480 different this
01:55:52.100 year
01:55:52.320 if you
01:55:54.780 or someone
01:55:55.900 you know
01:55:56.460 is going
01:55:58.220 through a rough
01:55:58.760 time
01:55:59.200 I can tell
01:55:59.800 you
01:56:00.040 I know
01:56:00.760 what that's
01:56:02.220 like
01:56:02.600 I've been
01:56:04.880 there
01:56:05.200 Christmas
01:56:08.040 songs
01:56:08.720 boy they
01:56:10.820 just
01:56:11.240 sound
01:56:13.000 different
01:56:14.000 when you're
01:56:15.500 going through
01:56:15.920 something
01:56:16.400 but I just
01:56:19.640 want to
01:56:19.920 encourage you
01:56:20.640 that no matter
01:56:21.200 what you're
01:56:21.640 going through
01:56:22.100 you're not
01:56:22.540 alone
01:56:22.900 God's got
01:56:29.040 a plan
01:56:29.520 I can tell
01:56:33.740 you I felt
01:56:34.220 that piece
01:56:34.700 I can't
01:56:35.140 even hardly
01:56:35.560 describe it
01:56:36.340 but I
01:56:37.800 felt it
01:56:38.220 throughout
01:56:38.700 those 77
01:56:41.320 days
01:56:41.860 and now
01:56:43.180 our little
01:56:43.520 girl 0.91
01:56:43.860 just turned
01:56:45.160 a year
01:56:45.620 old
01:56:46.080 and she's
01:56:47.480 almost
01:56:48.540 walking
01:56:49.020 she is
01:56:50.680 pulling
01:56:51.000 herself up
01:56:51.860 on things
01:56:53.100 and standing
01:56:53.720 by herself
01:56:54.440 now
01:56:54.840 and clapping
01:56:56.760 and giving
01:56:59.020 kisses
01:56:59.700 waving
01:57:01.000 and just
01:57:03.480 last night
01:57:04.120 we discovered
01:57:06.420 something
01:57:07.020 special
01:57:10.160 a little
01:57:11.760 tooth
01:57:12.300 poking out
01:57:14.700 of her bottom
01:57:15.760 gums
01:57:17.840 God is
01:57:21.400 good
01:57:21.720 folks I
01:57:23.820 know it's
01:57:24.160 easy this
01:57:24.680 time of
01:57:25.100 year
01:57:25.360 to get
01:57:26.820 wrapped up
01:57:27.340 in everything
01:57:27.760 else
01:57:28.040 the hustle
01:57:28.580 and the
01:57:28.880 bustle
01:57:29.280 and maybe
01:57:30.100 to feel
01:57:30.460 bad or
01:57:31.020 down
01:57:31.460 because of
01:57:34.660 these things
01:57:35.120 that are
01:57:35.360 happening
01:57:35.760 but I just
01:57:36.400 want to
01:57:36.660 encourage you
01:57:37.340 to think
01:57:38.180 about the
01:57:38.660 things
01:57:39.100 that are
01:57:40.940 going right
01:57:41.540 to think
01:57:43.220 about the
01:57:43.600 blessings
01:57:44.100 that you
01:57:45.120 do
01:57:45.600 enjoy
01:57:46.580 because it
01:57:50.160 has the
01:57:51.260 incredible
01:57:52.080 ability
01:57:52.620 to shift
01:57:53.800 your perspective
01:57:54.620 at any
01:57:55.440 moment in
01:57:56.080 time
01:57:56.480 I can tell
01:58:02.040 you
01:58:02.380 this Christmas
01:58:03.560 is even
01:58:05.520 more magical
01:58:06.260 because I
01:58:08.220 am so
01:58:08.600 grateful
01:58:09.000 to be able
01:58:11.540 to hold
01:58:12.000 my little
01:58:12.520 girl 0.91
01:58:12.860 while she's
01:58:14.500 not strapped
01:58:15.180 to monitors
01:58:15.920 tubes
01:58:16.860 and wires
01:58:17.960 although I
01:58:19.780 was grateful
01:58:20.300 for those
01:58:20.760 folks
01:58:21.080 those angels
01:58:21.940 on earth
01:58:22.560 in the
01:58:22.820 children's
01:58:23.260 hospital
01:58:23.600 last year
01:58:24.240 I am
01:58:25.120 just so
01:58:25.600 grateful
01:58:26.000 that I've
01:58:27.180 got my
01:58:27.540 little angel
01:58:28.160 back home
01:58:29.180 folks
01:58:30.980 I want to
01:58:32.640 wish you the
01:58:33.020 best and
