00:00:07.240 Stu Bergeer and a special guest, Uncle Jimmy. We've got a very special version of the Glenn

00:00:15.540 Beck show that we have planned for you today. Some of you watching right now are like,

00:00:31.740 you're going to talk about at Thanksgiving and you don't want to sit around and talk

00:00:35.640 about just the election results, I got a conversation for you today that will, it'll

00:00:42.800 be hard to socially distance after you hear this discussion. You'll be passionate after

00:00:48.680 you hear this discussion. You may want to get into some family members' faces after this

00:00:53.820 discussion, but it's a discussion you do not want to miss. I'm going to tell you exactly

00:01:01.380 how we fix America. Exactly how we fix America. You don't want to miss this. The Glenn Beck

00:01:08.420 show. I'm Jason Whitlock filling in.

00:01:23.820 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck

00:01:50.520 program. And I'm Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck. I'm the better looking,

00:01:58.080 funnier Glenn Beck, I think. But I'll let you decide after you listen to this three hour show.

00:02:05.660 Don't do it. Don't go anywhere. Don't don't move. Don't touch your dowel. This show is going

00:02:12.100 to be amazing. I'm Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck. I'll be back in one minute.

00:02:16.120 This is the Glenn Beck program.

00:03:29.540 Good morning and welcome to a special edition of the Glenn Beck Show. I am your host today,

00:03:36.220 Jason Whitlock. I am a longtime sports columnist and television host. I made my name in Kansas City

00:03:43.020 in the 1990s and throughout the 2000s. I've hosted TV shows at ESPN and Fox Sports. For the past six

00:03:51.020 months, I have written columns about the intersection of sports and race at OutKick. For the purpose of

00:03:57.600 this audience, perhaps you have seen me during my semi-regular appearances on the Tucker Carlson's

00:04:03.440 Fox News show. Why am I here? Why am I sitting in for Glenn Beck today and tomorrow? Last week, I visited

00:04:11.980 Dallas and made an appearance on this show here with Glenn Beck. I cannot speak for Glenn, but I can tell you

00:04:19.340 what I felt. Glenn and I share a kindred spirit, a kindred passion. We have two things that we love and are

00:04:28.160 passionate about. God and country. I am not a minister. I am a flawed sinner, just like Glenn and

00:04:36.760 just like you, but I am a believer. Believers share an energy that connects them, that cuts through our

00:04:45.900 physical differences and makes those differences irrelevant. That's what I felt when I met Glenn,

00:04:53.240 an energy and a spirit that connects us. We are broadcasters, media personalities operating in

00:05:01.640 separate spaces, trying to talk to Americans who share our passions, God and country. There are forces

00:05:11.840 operating outside of America and inside America that have separated this country from God. Everything 0.91

00:05:19.780 we've witnessed in 2020, the racial division stirred by the mainstream media and the Silicon Valley

00:05:26.400 social media apps, the Antifa and Black Lives Matter, rioting, looting, anarchy, the remaking of the 0.93

00:05:35.140 sports world into a shrine that celebrates resisting criminal suspects and denigrates this great country at

00:05:43.540 every turn. The rewriting and the destruction of American history. And yes, the 2020 presidential election that swung in the wee

00:05:53.060 hours of the morning. They're all symptoms and signs of the consequences of America's enemies separating

00:06:01.620 God and country. We are one nation under God. We are nothing without him. We are Chaz,

00:06:11.060 the soulless Antifa autonomous zone erected in Seattle. The flawed sinners who founded this

00:06:19.940 nation, baked God into this country with their declaration of independence. We hold these truths to be

00:06:28.000 self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable

00:06:37.060 rights, that among those are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The foreign and domestic enemies

00:06:44.660 of this nation are baking a new American cake. God isn't an essential ingredient in this new cake. He

00:06:54.020 isn't an ingredient at all. The removal of faith is sowing the disharmony that is terrorizing and destroying 0.52

00:07:02.660 the United States of America. Why am I here today? I'm here today to tell you how we take our country

00:07:10.020 back, how we restore the freedoms and the liberties our enemies seek to remove in their remaking of a

00:07:19.300 godless America. If not us, who? Let me ask that question again. If not us, who? If we, those of us who claim

00:07:32.900 faith in a higher power, those of us who claim we love God and country are not willing to put our

00:07:40.740 physical differences aside and recognize the energy and spirit that connects us, compels us to value

00:07:48.660 freedom, if we are not man and woman enough to stand together as believers, then we deserve what is

00:07:58.020 coming to us. We're unworthy of the freedoms that Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Crispus Attucks,

00:08:05.940 Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King, and so many more sacrificed and made available

00:08:13.060 to us. We're not worthy. We built this country. We made this country great. We are its foundational

00:08:26.180 pieces, believers, black, white, brown, whoever. We are the heart and soul of America. We are one nation,

00:08:35.860 under God. We are the self-evident truth about the United States of America. Here's what I need you to do

00:08:45.220 right now. This audience is just half of the solution. I don't mean this disparagingly, but this is primarily

00:08:55.260 the white half of the solution. I need you right now to call, text, and email the other half of the solution.

00:09:04.640 Contact your friends or co-workers or the parents of the kids on your kids' football and soccer teams.

00:09:11.960 Tell them to tune into this show right now. Tell them that Glenn Beck's friend, Jason Whitlock,

00:09:20.400 is hosting a special edition of the Glenn Beck Show and that I'm going to spend the next three hours

00:09:27.580 explaining how we bring this country back together, how we lean into racial harmony,

00:09:34.900 how we restore the values that our founding fathers put into this country.

00:09:42.300 It's going to sound crazy. How does a sports writer know how to fix America and America's racial dilemma?

00:09:49.000 Tell them God works in mysterious ways. He chooses certain people to do certain missions. He spent 53

00:09:58.500 years preparing me to play this role, to serve this purpose. He connected me with Glenn Beck at this time

00:10:06.260 for this moment in American history. You have to step out on faith right now. You have to feel that energy

00:10:15.120 and spirit that is inside all believers. This is a special edition of the Glenn Beck Show.

00:11:33.660 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck radio show.

00:11:46.840 I am Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck.

00:11:49.380 He'll be back on Monday.

00:11:50.800 He's going to enjoy his Thanksgiving holiday.

00:11:53.500 All right, Stu doesn't need an introduction.

00:11:56.120 You guys all know Stu.

00:11:57.480 He's Glenn Beck's right-hand man.

00:11:59.400 I have brought in my right-hand man, Uncle Jimmy from Los Angeles, Uncle Jimmy Dodds.

00:12:06.020 Welcome.

00:12:06.700 All right, guys, I want to start by, I feel a little bit like Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani.

00:12:13.520 I just held a press conference and said, you know what?

00:12:17.720 I'm going to expose and I'm going to lay out a blueprint on how America moves forward.

00:12:24.820 And first, I want your reaction to, before I get into the evidence and the meat of the argument,

00:12:32.320 I want to get you all's reaction to what I laid out.

00:12:36.440 Stu, you were here last week when I met Glenn for the first time.

00:12:41.240 And so, what's your reaction to what I've just laid out?

00:12:44.980 Well, as the white half of the solution, Jason.

00:12:48.900 No, I mean, that's, you know, it's powerful stuff.

00:12:51.140 It's interesting to look at all of that and ask the question, is that possible in 2020?

00:12:56.660 I mean, you lay out a great vision for America, but you look at the way that people treat each other.

00:13:03.220 It doesn't seem like it's even possible.

00:13:06.820 Stu, I say this in all seriousness.

00:13:08.440 My confidence really comes from, one, this is the path I've been on my whole life.

00:13:13.760 But two, I'm telling you, last week when I came here, I felt an energy between Glenn and I that was inspiring to me.

00:13:24.280 And Glenn stuck, you know, he always sticks around, does a lot of work.

00:13:28.040 But he stuck around also to take me over to all of his documents and the museum, the history.

00:13:35.640 And we talked about, he showed me a rough draft of the Declaration of Independence.

00:13:40.780 Handwritten by Thomas Jefferson with notes on the side.

00:13:45.100 And there were, there were, because again, people don't understand the Declaration of Independence,

00:13:49.480 all 13 colonies had to be unanimous about what was in the Declaration of Independence.

00:13:55.660 And he showed me things that Thomas Jefferson had written in the Declaration and that 11 of the 13 colonies agreed to.

00:14:06.220 And it's clear as day, these guys, Jefferson, Washington, Ben Franklin, our founding,

00:14:13.280 they were moved by God and operating from a Christian mindset.

00:14:19.880 And they were going after the end of slavery at the foundation of our country.

00:14:26.720 Now, because everything had to be unanimous, these two paragraphs were removed and they were condensed to the part that I referenced.

00:14:35.060 Self-truth, creator, all men are created equal.

00:14:39.200 But that was a more expanded version of the Declaration of Independence that made it crystal clear.

00:14:46.320 These were Christian men that knew slavery was a sin and wanted to get rid of it.

00:14:51.840 And, and that's, there were other parts of my connection with Glenn, but just have engaging with him in that conversation,

00:14:59.820 him showing me those documents, it just made, it's possible, man.

00:15:04.080 As dark as things have seen in 2020, there is light at the end of this tunnel.

00:15:09.860 And I think the light starts with those of us who are believers and we have to move past these very superficial differences we have about skin color.

00:15:24.380 And, and we have to reconnect again as believers.

00:15:29.280 Yeah.

00:15:29.400 I mean, as people of faith, we know the end of the story, right?

00:15:32.840 Like we know this turns out okay at some point, but we have to, we don't have to fight hard to get there.

00:15:37.540 I mean, you talk about the Declaration of Independence, you know, it not only was in there,

00:15:42.220 it was a central part of their argument to form the country that slavery needed to end.

00:15:47.540 It was that clear.

00:15:49.620 And, you know, history has a lot of awful twists and turns.

00:15:54.480 And, you know, we know the horror of slavery and what it turned into, but the founders weren't those people.

00:16:01.020 They're not the people that the left tells us that they are.

00:16:03.300 And, uh, it's, it's important for people to speak out about that stuff.

00:16:07.400 And, and you really laid that out well.

00:16:09.640 All right.

00:16:10.400 You guys know Stu.

00:16:11.740 And if you know, uncle Jimmy, you know, him from a role he played on a television show.

00:16:18.360 I hosted on Fox sports called speak for yourself.

00:16:21.600 And on that show, uncle Jimmy leaned into comedy and humor and, uh, that's a role he's played with me going all the way back to my days in Kansas city as a columnist and as a radio host.

00:16:36.720 Uh, but the real connection between Jimmy and I is, is more than just humor.

00:16:43.420 It's, it's, it's deeper than that.

00:16:45.020 Uh, uh, Jimmy, for lack of a better, uh, description reminds me of the guys and the people that, uh, I grew up with at my dad's bar.

00:16:59.360 My dad's bar was in the inner city in Indianapolis.

00:17:02.860 It catered to factory workers.

00:17:04.200 It catered to working class people.

00:17:06.700 And that's deep inside of me, those working class roots.

00:17:11.940 And as I've moved up the financial ladder and the career ladder, I've never lost or abandoned my connection to working class people.

00:17:22.640 I got a working class mindset and mentality.

00:17:26.740 And if you ever met any of my friends, black, white, whatever, that's kind of our foundation, a working class mentality.

00:17:37.180 I'm, I am naturally, it's not a gimmick.

00:17:40.820 I'm naturally, uh, not attracted to elites to be quite honest with you.

00:17:48.240 And so Jimmy and I's friendship is just like, Jimmy's not an elite.

00:17:53.040 Jimmy is old school.

00:17:56.720 And, uh, anyway, so I just wanted to give you that for those of you that have seen Jimmy on my television show.

00:18:04.660 Uh, he's not here today to do comedy.

00:18:07.480 He's here to be Jimmy Dodd, my friend for 25 years.

00:18:13.500 And so without further ado, anybody, your reaction to what I laid out in the monologue? 0.96

00:18:21.060 Well, let me say by being the elder statesman of the panel that you don't get old being no fool. 0.98

00:18:28.760 Okay.

00:18:29.520 Meaning that through my life, I know that there's trials and tribulations and the only way I've ever made it through is with faith.

00:18:36.140 But I also realized that while we're sitting here, you know, we talk about my, our faith.

00:18:41.320 We talk about my faith.

00:18:43.340 There's a whole generation of people out there.

00:18:45.860 And I'm going to say there's black people.

00:18:48.040 And they're throughout the barbershops and everywhere else that are right now looking at you going. 0.66

00:18:52.760 There they go.

00:18:53.820 Pulling out that religion card.

00:18:55.880 There they go.

00:18:57.000 Talking about that God.

00:18:58.360 Every time they want to control us, they want to talk about God.

00:19:03.320 Wait a minute.

00:19:04.100 Like, that's my God.

00:19:05.620 How did it become they God?

00:19:07.760 You know, so what do you say to those people that say that?

00:19:11.540 Uh, and trust me, I hear that a lot.

00:19:13.720 And it's become very popular over the last 20 years.

00:19:16.440 And certainly in the last five years, a very secular point of view on life and that Christianity was used to enslave, uh, black people here in America. 0.98

00:19:30.080 And so therefore Christianity is evil. 0.99

00:19:32.360 I hear that a lot. 0.53

00:19:33.640 I hear that from people that don't really understand history and don't really understand God and that, uh, listen, have there been people that have misused the Bible, the Koran, whatever religion they want to exploit people?

00:19:48.800 Absolutely.

00:19:49.680 That is on those people.

00:19:51.720 That's not on the Bible.

00:19:53.360 That's not on the Koran.

00:19:54.760 That's not on God.

00:19:56.040 That's on those people misusing it.

00:19:58.920 And what, if you really understand America's history, but even just in particular black people's history in America, faith and, and primarily Christian faith has carried us through for 400 years in this country.

00:20:21.760 And, and, and I wrote it and we'll get deeper into this as I present my argument and case here today, but I go back to the Patrick Moynihan report in 1965.

00:20:33.440 They call it the Moynihan report.

00:20:34.960 It was a, uh, study, uh, a paper about the Negro family is what they called it at that time.

00:20:42.460 And he talked about at that time in 1965, like, wow, any other group of people that would have been put through the oppression that black people have, uh, since being brought here as slaves, a lesser people would have died out.

00:20:59.220 He basically called it a miracle that we were still here and functioning and, and a part of the American fabric.

00:21:06.960 And when I read that, I was like, that's because of our faith, God carried us.

00:21:13.160 And, and anybody making some argument that Christianity has been used to destroy us doesn't understand Christianity, doesn't understand American history, doesn't understand how we got here.

00:21:28.440 It's our faith and, and, and if you look at where America has gone and it's always been, I'm just sorry.

00:21:37.520 It's always been on a path towards freedom, enlightenment.

00:21:41.300 It's always bended toward truth and fairness.

00:21:44.740 And so what's happened, we've been making racial progress in this country for 150, 200 years.

00:21:52.000 And so why has it stopped?

00:21:55.000 Cause it has stopped.

00:21:56.620 We're not making racial progress right now.

00:21:59.200 What has been removed from the equation?

00:22:02.800 God.

00:22:03.780 Yes, sir.

00:22:04.620 And there's been a pattern to it.

00:22:06.000 This has been going on for 50, 60 years.

00:22:09.040 I hate to sound this old school, but they start removing prayer from school years ago.

00:22:14.740 And now we've become this very secular society and the racial progress has stopped. 0.56

00:22:21.480 We have more racial disharmony right now than we've had since the 1960s or maybe going back to the 1860s before the civil war, the racial disharmony and the self hate among black people. 0.76

00:22:35.940 Uh-oh.

00:22:37.380 Is at its highest level right now.

00:22:41.280 It's going to be a good one today.

00:22:42.660 Don't go anywhere.

00:22:45.200 We're going to go in depth. 0.97

00:22:48.020 Black pride has become the new religion. 0.98

00:22:52.100 Skin color is not a replacement for God. 0.84

00:22:55.580 I'm Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck.

00:24:16.880 There's much more after the break on the Glenn Beck program.

00:24:20.260 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck show.

00:24:31.940 I am Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck.

00:24:36.660 Joined by, of course, Stu, who you guys know.

00:24:39.840 And my main man, Uncle Jimmy, is here with us.

00:24:43.400 All right.

00:24:43.640 I promised you a terrific show and a terrific discussion today.

00:24:47.460 And I need to get a little deeper into it.

00:24:49.960 We're going to spend all three hours talking about how we fix America and identifying what

00:24:56.440 the critical mistakes we've made that have gotten us to this point where our country seems

00:25:02.700 to be teetering.

00:25:04.380 And I contend it's the secularization of our society. 0.99

00:25:10.620 And it starts with disconnecting black people from religion and replacing. 1.00

00:25:18.060 Christian faith, whatever, religious faith and replacing that with a religion based around 0.99

00:25:26.200 skin color.

00:25:27.660 As black people, we've fallen into this trap that has been laid out for us.

00:25:34.460 Someone set the trap.

00:25:35.860 And they don't talk about it in the mainstream media.

00:25:40.340 And that's why what Glenn and the blaze have done is so important.

00:25:46.340 The move I made at Outkick so important that it takes independent media voices to talk about

00:25:55.140 what is actually happening and identifying the real culprits.

00:26:00.040 And look, there's only one real culprit here, liberals.

00:26:06.180 And people get tired of hearing me say it, talk about it, identify them.

00:26:13.220 Why don't you talk about conservatives?

00:26:14.960 And I'm like, well, everybody else is talking about conservatives and their alleged crimes.

00:26:23.960 There's no one talking about liberals and their crime.

00:26:29.920 And one of the biggest crimes or the biggest crime that has been committed on America has

00:26:36.680 been the country was founded on Christian values and liberals are trying to remove those values. 0.91

00:26:45.400 And the tip of that spear is disconnecting black people from God and replacing skin color 1.00

00:26:55.260 as their religion. 0.99

00:26:57.540 That's what's driving all of the racial disharmony.

00:27:01.320 The key to bringing down America, installing Marxist, socialist, communist values is driving racial disharmony 0.97

00:27:13.660 through black people's worship of skin color and all the fake disciples. 1.00

00:27:23.160 See, liberals pretend to be disciples of this black skin color worship. 0.99

00:27:28.040 They they've pretended to join that church. 0.94

00:27:32.720 Now, trust me, trust me when all hell breaks loose and the country's at the brink of a racial 0.99

00:27:45.060 war, a civil war, those fake disciples of black skin color are going to walk out of that church, 1.00

00:27:52.720 put on different outfits. 0.99

00:27:54.080 They're going to uncolor their purple hair.

00:27:55.920 They're going to take off their Antifa black black uniforms and they're going to go blend 1.00

00:28:01.620 right in over with white people or white establishment as we get slaughtered. 0.94

00:28:08.380 And as this country continues to get torn apart and as we continue to move towards Marxism,

00:28:13.760 socialism and communism and the loss of the freedoms that our founding fathers made essential

00:28:20.320 and put in to America.

00:28:22.940 And so why do I say that black people have turned skin color into our religion? 0.98

00:28:30.340 Go look. 0.96

00:28:30.780 It's everywhere.

00:28:31.760 And particularly for those of us in the sports world, there were NBA players that had love

00:28:37.320 us on the back of their jerseys.

00:28:40.240 And people will hear that saying, well, man, he just wants to be loved.

00:28:43.680 And to me as a Christian, and again, this is why I say us believers have to come together

00:28:48.460 and look at the world through our believing eyes.

00:28:53.100 A man that would put love us on the back of his jerseys.

00:28:57.260 Why is he so special?

00:28:59.980 Love Jesus?

00:29:00.840 I get that.

00:29:03.000 Love God?

00:29:04.440 I get that.

00:29:05.920 But love us?

00:29:08.160 Because of our skin color?

00:29:11.680 I don't get that.

00:29:14.140 Because trust me, if white people were out preaching love white people, we'd be like, 0.57

00:29:19.740 whoa, whoa, whoa, what is this about?

00:29:22.300 We would be offended by that.

00:29:24.640 And so they've given us this religion.

00:29:28.380 And LeBron James and all these black celebrities, they're all into the love us.

00:29:35.080 Love me.

00:29:35.860 I'm a celebrity.

00:29:36.680 I'm worth millions of dollars.

00:29:38.020 I dunk a basketball.

00:29:39.780 Love me.

00:29:40.620 If they don't love me, they hate you.

00:29:44.640 And there's a commercial right out now by Beats by Dre.

00:29:49.720 You love me?

00:29:50.840 You love me not.

00:29:52.580 You love me?

00:29:53.240 And it's basically saying, you don't really love me.

00:29:56.040 You love black culture, but you don't love me. 1.00

00:29:58.500 And it ends with, oh, if you love me, what a wonderful world this would be. 0.70

00:30:04.700 I mean, just think that through as a believer.

00:30:07.620 If I love LeBron or some, that fixes the world?

00:30:15.340 That's our salvation?

00:30:17.820 As a believer, what do we believe?

00:30:20.940 The love of God, the love of Jesus, that is our salvation.

00:30:26.600 That was what this country was founded on.

00:30:29.400 And I know slavery was part of our foundation.

00:30:32.420 That was a global problem.

00:30:35.080 A global condition that America, if the truth is told about America, we were at the forefront

00:30:43.840 of eliminating slavery.

00:30:46.620 If you understand the Declaration of Independence, the final version and any of the rough drafts,

00:30:56.020 that was Christian men objecting to slavery.

00:30:59.940 They put the seeds in the Declaration of Independence so that slavery could be ended.

00:31:05.660 We were world leaders.

00:31:07.940 There's still slavery going on right now. 0.92

00:31:11.000 Well.

00:31:11.140 And people don't talk about it, don't address it, but we are convicted for sins from 150

00:31:17.920 years ago that we fought a civil war and sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives to end it.

00:31:25.120 We get no credit for that.

00:31:28.140 As believers, we have to stand up.

00:31:31.100 We have to come together and connect.

00:31:35.220 And I know it's hard right now.

00:31:36.960 The media has made it very hard.

00:31:39.320 They are purposely sowing seeds of racial disharmony.

00:31:44.300 They want us at each other's throat. 1.00

00:31:47.440 They're the problems, those black people. 1.00

00:31:49.400 And they want black people. 1.00

00:31:50.480 They're the problem, those white people. 1.00

00:31:52.260 I'm telling you today, the problem is those of us that are believers, we're being cowards. 1.00

00:32:03.720 We're ignoring what has been taught to us.

00:32:07.400 We have to come together.

00:32:08.940 I have to connect with Stu on our religious faith that removes our skin color. 0.99

00:32:15.380 It makes it irrelevant.

00:32:16.780 We share a common purpose and vision and a way we see the world.

00:32:23.120 There's an energy and a belief that has been placed inside of us by our embrace of God and a higher power.

00:32:34.700 That's the message.

00:32:36.820 When you encounter a racist and they can be black or white. 0.70

00:32:44.380 One of these people that thinks that black skin and worship of black skin is the key to our country.

00:32:53.060 You have to tell them about the higher power that you serve.

00:32:59.740 And that this whole skin color thing is irrelevant to you. 0.98

00:33:04.800 That's why you don't have time for white races. 1.00

00:33:07.540 You don't have time for black races. 1.00

00:33:09.560 If we come together under that, if we get back to one nation under our belief system that makes skin color irrelevant. 0.96

00:33:23.840 Then we have a chance to fix America.

00:33:29.100 But it's us.

00:33:31.100 I blame them for what they're doing. 0.96

00:33:34.040 And again, liberals created this black skin color religion. 0.99

00:33:41.280 They're paying for it. 0.98

00:33:43.580 They've commercialized it.

00:33:45.540 They've forced it in sports.

00:33:47.180 I was watching the Baltimore Ravens football game.

00:33:50.380 And again, the whole NFL, Black Lives Matter.

00:33:54.560 And I'm like, are you kidding me?

00:33:57.180 The people that founded this are trained Marxists out of their own mouths.

00:34:01.640 The principles that they're talking about.

00:34:05.920 Disrupting the nuclear family. 0.68

00:34:09.640 You don't hear.

00:34:10.960 That's.

00:34:13.140 That is cold word for destroying God.

00:34:17.640 Again, they love to talk about cold words and dog whistles.

00:34:20.720 They never address their own.

00:34:23.820 They are the kings of cold words and dog whistles.

00:34:26.860 They're trying to tear us apart along racial lines. 0.89

00:34:33.000 And you have to remove God because if you remove God, that's our connective tissue.

00:34:38.860 That's the spirit and energy.

00:34:41.280 God is.

00:34:42.060 And so they're removing it.

00:34:43.440 And have you focused on skin color?

00:34:45.980 It's a rigged game.

00:34:51.300 And I'm so thankful for Glenn for giving me this opportunity.

00:34:55.580 I'm so glad I came here last week and met Glenn and felt that energy and spirit and passion for God and country.

00:35:05.240 I want to share it with you because we can fix this.

00:35:12.260 I don't want to denigrate President Trump and the campaign to redo the election or fix the election.

00:35:23.440 But what we can do together here is more powerful than anybody sitting in that White House.

00:35:29.060 If we come together as believers, we'll make the election irrelevant. 0.98

00:35:34.580 Yes, sir.

00:35:35.200 The House and the Senate and Nancy Pelosi, we can make them irrelevant. 1.00

00:35:39.980 If we come together, they will bend to our will.

00:35:45.040 If God is on our side, we cannot fail.

00:35:49.480 I'm not a preacher.

00:35:51.220 I'm a sinner.

00:35:52.960 But I know what I know.

00:35:55.280 I know what was put inside me.

00:35:56.920 I know what 25th Street Baptist Church taught me.

00:36:00.480 I know the power of God and Jesus and submitting to his will.

00:36:07.140 You know it, too.

00:36:09.460 Don't let them win.

00:36:11.700 I'm Jason Whitlock.

00:36:13.240 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Radio Show.

00:37:34.380 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck program.

00:37:36.440 I am Jason Whitlock sitting in for Glenn Beck.

00:37:39.620 I hope you have been listening.

00:37:41.360 We have about two hours and eight more minutes of a discussion about how we fix America.

00:37:49.400 I just went in in the last segment about skin color and black pride being the new religion that, 0.91

00:37:57.680 and I wrote a column about this, about how it's the new religion that's taking black people and America straight to hell. 1.00

00:38:05.400 And I suggest you go read that column, but I want to hear from Stu and Uncle Jimmy about my thoughts in the last segment

00:38:14.160 about how liberals, in my view, are promoting racial disharmony through the promotion of racial animus

00:38:25.100 and this skin color being the new religion.

00:38:28.420 I mean, I think you nailed it, and one of the things I really love about that and the message that you're bringing today is it's a message of empowerment, right?

00:38:37.840 I think even on the conservative side, we're constantly, we're getting to that side where we're seeing ourselves as victims all the time, right?

00:38:45.700 There's this world where, you know, even with the election and all the other things going on, these things are always happening to us.

00:38:51.820 People are doing things to us, and we're always fighting back from the defensive side, right?

00:38:57.020 This is an offensive message, right?

00:38:59.660 This is a message of saying we can change these things with or without Washington, with or without celebrities, with or without Hollywood, with or without any of those people.

00:39:08.000 We can do this because, you know, this is what we're supposed to be doing as people of faith, right?

00:39:13.480 Taking control and doing the things that we foundationally believe.

00:39:20.520 It's not this passive sort of thing where the world happens to us.

00:39:26.040 We are able to define what the future is if we actually believe these things and act on them, because acting on them is the hard part, right?

00:39:34.360 It's easy to say these things. Acting on them is the hard part, especially with all the pressures that come from getting beat up on social media and people lighting you up all over the place.

00:39:44.560 But that is there. That path is there. And I think you outlined it really well.

00:39:49.020 Uncle Jimmy, if I flip back and forth from the white side to the black side of the room, we're all going to be holding hands and saying kumbaya when this is over.

00:39:59.160 Well, so from a distance.

00:40:00.560 Listen, you know, I was in law enforcement for 17 years.

00:40:06.520 And one of the one of the things that I taught my officers in law enforcement was you can never mistake your skin of color as a badge of honor.

00:40:16.040 And when I said that, the black brothers always thought that I was always talking to the white boys.

00:40:21.380 And I'm like, no, I'm talking to everybody.

00:40:23.980 Right is right. Wrong is wrong. And it ain't no end of difference.

00:40:26.760 It ain't no end of the middle. You know, we're going to be fair, firm and consistent across the line, you know, and that's just what sticks in my mind the most about this.

00:40:36.340 You know, we just have to be fair, firm and consistent across the line.

00:40:40.740 And that's just that.

00:40:41.700 And I like what both of you have had to say.

00:40:45.080 And I never heard that saying, Uncle Jimmy, you've been holding out on me.

00:40:48.800 But but Stu, I really like your point about playing offense.

00:40:54.940 And again, if you're a believer, there's no reason to play defense.

00:41:00.020 Jesus did that for us on the cross.

00:41:01.840 Let's go play offense.

00:41:03.880 Let's go out and promote our worldview, stand on our beliefs.

00:41:09.580 That's how we fix America.

00:41:12.420 And we have been backpedaling for too long and letting them play all the offense.

00:41:17.320 I'm here to help.

00:41:18.400 I'm not in.

00:41:19.240 I'm not a minister.

00:41:20.840 I'm not into politics.

00:41:21.920 I've never voted.

00:41:22.580 That really irritates a lot of people.

00:41:24.980 But I'm going to explain to conservatives how we can play offense.

00:41:29.080 And I'm talking about those of us that are believing conservative.

00:41:32.100 And I'm Jason Whitlock.

00:41:32.920 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:42:38.440 It's been on fire so far, and we're really excited about it.

00:42:41.420 It's coming back in about one minute.

00:42:42.780 First, I want to tell you about Built Bar.

00:42:43.940 Look, my wife started with Built Bars a while ago.

00:42:47.500 She was the start of this.

00:42:48.680 Not Glenn, not Tanya.

00:42:50.700 My wife, Lisa, discovered these things, and she has been, and she started evangelizing to Tanya about them.

00:42:57.260 They're these protein bars, and you're thinking, protein bars?

00:42:59.820 Who the heck wants to eat a protein bar? 1.00

00:43:01.380 These are the best.

00:43:02.160 They're like candy bars, and they have, I think, like 130, 140 calories.

00:43:07.280 They taste delicious.

00:43:08.580 They're high fiber.

00:43:09.360 They're low carb, and they have crazy flavors.

00:43:12.400 They're like scientists, and they're sitting there all the time coming up with amazing new flavors of Built Bars.

00:43:17.940 You're going to love these things.

00:43:18.840 What are the new flavors?

00:43:19.580 They have a bunch of new holiday ones.

00:43:23.100 Caramel Brownie, Cherry Barsia, Lemon Almond Cheesecake, Apple Almond Crisp.

00:43:28.180 They've got a bunch of new ones.

00:43:29.220 My wife just got a few more as well. 0.99

00:43:31.180 You're going to love these things.

00:49:06.680 I am Jason Whitlock sitting in for Glenn Beck.

00:49:10.320 I hope you're enjoying the show.

00:49:12.100 We have more to get into.

00:49:14.160 I'm joined by Stu and Uncle Jimmy.

00:49:15.840 I want to take us deeper into our conversation we're having today.

00:49:19.940 How do we fix America?

00:49:22.200 Where do we go from here?

00:49:23.980 How do we combat the people trying to tear this country down?

00:49:27.580 And I've been explaining that they are using liberals are white liberals, black liberals, white liberals in their flunkies or people they've converted to their side of the fence.

00:49:43.340 And I've been trying to explain in columns over at Outkick about how what the liberals are doing.

00:49:52.620 These modern day liberals today are the ideological descendants of the enslavers from 400 years ago.

00:50:04.520 Modern liberals today are the ideological descendants of the enslavers from 400 years ago.

00:50:17.720 And so when I want you to look, when you see a liberal, one of these very passionate political liberals, and again, I don't want to demonize them all because they're not all this way.

00:50:27.940 Some of them throw on their liberal hood to cover up their bigotry.

00:50:34.820 Some of them just take that label on so they don't even have to deal.

00:50:38.280 No one can call me a racist.

00:50:40.420 I'm a liberal.

00:50:41.960 And so they just do it out of convenience.

00:50:44.160 It simplifies their life.

00:50:46.020 They can go on, take care of their families, work their jobs.

00:50:48.880 Look, I'm a liberal.

00:50:50.140 You can't accuse me of anything.

00:50:52.380 And some of them are just going along to simplify their life.

00:50:55.160 But there are others at the core of liberalism that are the ideological descendants of the enslavers from 400 years ago.

00:51:05.600 So when you see them, I want you to think of them as being on a boat that's bringing slaves into America. 0.98

00:51:13.800 And then they have some helpers that are blacks that help them catch slaves. 0.99

00:51:18.500 And again, if you watch Roots or you know anything about the slave, there were black people that helped white enslavers catch slaves. 0.58

00:51:24.220 And that's what you have going on right now with liberals.

00:51:29.900 And I'm going to tell you why.

00:51:32.120 Because, Uncle Jimmy, I see you like, wow, wow, that's a lot.

00:51:35.360 That's a lot.

00:51:36.160 But I want you to think about this.

00:51:37.980 Let's go back 400 years ago.

00:51:39.600 And what would an enslaver tell you? 0.86

00:51:42.560 Uncle Jimmy, your black skin makes you a special classification of human beings. 1.00

00:51:47.900 And your black skin limits your freedom because you're a special classification of human human being who's unworthy of freedom. 1.00

00:51:58.620 And so your blackness is your defining characteristic. 0.99

00:52:03.620 Your skin color tells me everything I need to know about you. 0.99

00:52:09.860 And how I can classify you and use you and enslave you. 0.99

00:52:16.300 Your skin.

00:52:17.120 That's what they said.

00:52:17.940 400.

00:52:18.260 Would you agree with that?

00:52:19.160 That was the mentality 400 years ago.

00:52:21.400 Well, if I let you do that to me, then that's 400.

00:52:24.540 They did it at gunpoint at that time.

00:52:26.420 But I understand.

00:52:27.100 Now they do it at laptop point or social media app point.

00:52:31.300 That's very powerful.

00:52:32.280 They put a social media mob on you.

00:52:35.600 They've removed the gun and just said, look, we got a special classification.

00:52:41.500 This is the Associated Press, which is basically the media platform for America.

00:52:47.360 The entire globe reads the Associated Press.

00:52:51.620 That's how they get their initial impression of America.

00:52:55.640 And the Associated Press in June, shortly after George Floyd's tragic death in Minneapolis, decided, you know what?

00:53:05.020 There's a special classification of Americans that you can identify by their skin color.

00:53:12.460 Black. 0.93

00:53:13.920 And that classification of people, we are now going to capitalize the B in black. 0.66

00:53:21.540 No other ethnic group gets this distinction.

00:53:24.020 There's this this one group of people who their most prized possession, their defining characteristic is their skin color.

00:53:34.360 And we're going to classify them and let everybody know that's a special group of people.

00:53:39.960 We're going to capitalize the B.

00:53:42.780 In their description of themselves and they're black and they're different than everybody else. 1.00

00:53:48.560 And their freedom is basically limited because the way things operate with the gun that they have, social media, control of celebrities or whatever. 0.95

00:54:00.200 If you don't stick to a liberal point of view on all issues, you're kicked out of the black race. 1.00

00:54:12.180 You're kicked out of the black race. 1.00

00:54:14.660 You think that Barack Obama isn't the greatest president in the world and oh my God, you're not black. 1.00

00:54:26.140 What do you mean?

00:54:27.380 You don't think Barack Obama is the greatest thing.

00:54:29.340 What do you mean?

00:54:30.140 Black isn't your defining characteristic.

00:54:32.560 What do you mean?

00:54:33.640 You want to stick to the values that your grandmama and your minister taught you at church.

00:54:40.980 Don't you understand that liberalism and blackness mean you abandon everything that you were taught in the church to serve liberalism. 0.99

00:54:57.400 You don't have the freedom.

00:54:59.520 Every other group in this country has the right, the freedom.

00:55:05.340 I want to be conservative.

00:55:06.720 I want to be liberal.

00:55:07.480 I want to be libertarian.

00:55:08.540 I want to be a bunch of stuff other than my skin color.

00:55:14.400 Everybody else gets to do that.

00:55:17.280 But us liberals, primarily white in control of Hollywood, the movie industry, the music industry, academia. 0.66

00:55:30.180 Has said that there's a special classification of people in America.

00:55:34.520 Their defining characteristic is their skin color.

00:55:37.900 We get to decide what is black or not, and they have to live up to those standards on a day-to-day basis, or we kick them out of their skin color. 1.00

00:55:48.180 You must serve blackness. 1.00

00:55:49.980 Blackness is your religion. 1.00

00:55:51.820 Blackness trumps God, Jesus, and everything. 1.00

00:55:56.160 Your skin color is the most important thing about you.

00:56:00.100 I started down this path because of Dave Chappelle's appearance on Saturday Night Live a couple of weeks ago, or three weeks ago, after the election.

00:56:11.700 And Dave Chappelle got up and gave this very unapologetically black performance on Saturday Night Live. 0.95

00:56:19.280 Dave Chappelle, who's married to an Asian woman who lives in a predominantly white rural community, got on the stage at Saturday Night Live.

00:56:27.180 Look, look how black I am. 0.98

00:56:29.160 I hate Trump. 0.99

00:56:30.000 And I'm a liberal, and I believe it all.

00:56:34.960 And I'm like, he started his speech talking about his great-grandfather who was born into slavery and who used three things.

00:56:44.840 Dave said there were three things about my great-grandfather.

00:56:48.580 He loved education.

00:56:51.640 He pursued freedom for black people.

00:56:56.260 And he loved Jesus Christ.

00:56:58.640 That's what he said.

00:57:00.000 Those were out of Dave Chappelle's mouth.

00:57:01.960 And I was like, loved education, loved freedom, and loved Jesus Christ.

00:57:07.100 That sounds like America.

00:57:09.140 That sounds like stereotypical American values.

00:57:14.260 So his great-grandfather comes out of slavery, meets with Woodrow Wilson, takes a delegation of black people to meet with Woodrow Wilson in the White House.

00:57:25.100 Woodrow Wilson at the time was considered a friend of the Confederacy.

00:57:30.000 But Dave Chappelle's grandfather, being a typical American, loving education, loving freedom, and loving Jesus Christ, went to meet with the president. 0.95

00:57:41.140 Now anybody black that meets with the president gets kicked out of the black race. 1.00

00:57:46.140 We don't get to just pursue education, freedom, and Jesus Christ anymore. 0.99

00:57:54.360 That's been taken away from us by the ideological descendants of enslavers.

00:58:01.560 They've imposed a mental slavery in replacement of the physical slavery, and it is more destructive than the physical slavery.

00:58:11.700 When they take over your mind, they've taken over your body, your spirit, your soul.

00:58:16.400 They disconnect you from God and connect you to liberalism.

00:58:24.700 It's the capital B, this special distinction they've given us.

00:58:34.740 And again, you started the show asking me, oh, Christianity, you know, a lot of people say that was given to us to enslave us.

00:58:44.320 No.

00:58:45.320 The defining of us as black and that being a special characteristic that was given to us and limited our freedom that was given to us and put us mentally enslaved so that they could physically enslave us. 0.99

00:59:05.160 Worshiping your skin color, thinking of it as the defining characteristic of you, that is the enemy of black people and the enemy of America. 1.00

00:59:18.200 They're using that to tear down America. 0.97

00:59:21.160 I'm sorry, I've got liberal friends.

00:59:25.020 I know it bothers them when I point this out, but I'm going to point it out because it needs to be pointed out.

00:59:32.320 It's the only way we save America.

00:59:34.900 They have convinced you that conservative is a curse word, that conservative is the cold word for Satan.

00:59:45.680 Conservative, if you really understand, I'm taking the politics out of it.

00:59:49.700 Conservative means I believe in God and I'm going to stand on these principles that God teaches in the Holy Bible.

00:59:58.800 That's what conservative is.

01:00:00.580 It's a trick and a game that's being played on you.

01:00:03.120 I've never voted for anybody.

01:00:06.240 I'm not involved in politics.

01:00:08.380 I'm not ashamed of being a conservative because all it really means in this day and age is I believe in the word of Jesus Christ and God.

01:00:21.500 And some of you say you will stand on those principles and choose death over them.

01:00:28.300 You won't even choose social media scorn.

01:00:32.320 You can't even handle that.

01:00:34.720 So I know you'll deny him if death was on the line. 1.00

01:00:39.060 If you can't handle a celebrity, a LeBron James or one of these other idiot celebrities calling you out over social media or on TV because you stand on the principles that was taught to you in church as a child. 0.99

01:00:53.340 You will deny Jesus at every turn. 0.99

01:00:58.860 If that's all it takes is some tweets and some retweets and not getting some likes.

01:01:05.420 This is all connected.

01:01:10.420 It's all connected.

01:01:11.060 It's all connected to how they're using racial disharmony to promote racial division and animus to tear down this country and to take away the values that made this country great.

01:01:30.160 Was it always great for us?

01:01:32.780 No, I am not in denial.

01:01:35.700 No, but did America did the values did the things in planet in the Declaration of Independence in the Constitution.

01:01:44.620 Did they put us on a path towards freedom for everybody?

01:01:51.620 Absolutely. 0.95

01:01:52.220 And I'm just if America was as evil as they pretend in the mainstream media and over social media, these airports would be filled with black people trying to get up out of here. 0.99

01:02:08.020 And you couldn't get them up out of here with a stick of dynamite. 0.99

01:02:11.460 So quit lying.

01:02:15.060 And I'm not anybody that knows me knows that I will complain about anything that I think is unfair.

01:02:24.300 I am not some yes or no, sir.

01:02:27.760 Negro. 0.96

01:02:29.120 Everybody knows that about me.

01:02:31.860 He ain't that.

01:02:33.660 And so any of these people is, oh, he's a lot of things.

01:02:38.160 I'm scared or I'm no.

01:02:41.460 I'm standing on the things that Mama Lovie Kennedy, my grandmother and 25th Street Baptist Church put inside me.

01:02:53.780 Because they were the right things.

01:02:55.840 They were the ingredients that allowed me in 1984.

01:03:00.280 Jim, you know this.

01:03:01.480 I was living in a 400 square foot apartment with my father in the hood in Indianapolis.

01:03:08.380 My father made like $225 a week.

01:03:13.400 His businesses had been shut down.

01:03:15.940 He got to run a file of the IRS.

01:03:18.540 We were poor.

01:03:20.280 Very poor.

01:03:21.380 I was sleeping on a couch every day my senior year of high school.

01:03:29.020 A football scholarship changed my life.

01:03:33.180 What my grandmother put into me as a child changed my life.

01:03:39.820 And here in America, because America promises freedom, I was able to change my life and my family's life.

01:03:50.440 And what happened in the 30 years or it's been 36 years since 1984.

01:03:58.780 I can't count.

01:04:00.100 Neither can I.

01:04:02.200 Journalism major.

01:04:04.300 Amazing.

01:04:05.400 Things that can only happen in America.

01:04:07.960 I don't care who the president was.

01:04:10.560 I don't care what you think of this president.

01:04:12.720 I was sitting in the Rose Garden right outside his office and interviewed him and talked about my mom and daddy and factory workers and why America first was important to me.

01:04:24.360 That happens in America when you go from 400 square foot apartment in the hood, broke, poor to interviewing the president, to acquiring a level of financial wealth that you can not only change your life, but change the lives of the family members and the people that you care about around you.

01:04:44.820 That happens in America.

01:04:47.120 So we have to take the time to explain to black people that liberals are wearing a hood. 0.97

01:05:01.940 They are the ideological descendants of the enslavers.

01:05:07.500 They have imposed a mentality that enslavers imposed 400 years ago. 0.94

01:05:12.640 Your black skin defines you, makes you unworthy of freedom, American freedom. 1.00

01:05:19.740 You can't be like the rest of America. 0.99

01:05:22.280 They're doing it all over again right now and trying to tear down this country.

01:05:27.940 We can put a stop to it if believers come together and stand on the values and the principles that we believe in.

01:05:36.100 I'm Jason Whitlock.

01:05:37.640 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.

01:05:42.640 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:05:48.540 Here we are in 2020 in the thick of a heated and contested election during the biggest pandemic the world has ever seen, at least in a century.

01:05:58.160 And while nobody was looking, a massive trade deal was spearheaded by China, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.

01:06:06.560 That includes 15 countries and notably excludes the U.S.

01:06:11.220 This is a direct attack on the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency.

01:06:16.000 The only good news here is for precious metals, which historically perform well when the U.S. dollar loses stability.

01:06:22.900 Both Goldman Sachs and Citibank see the dollar plunging in 2021, with the latter calling for a 20% drop in value.

01:06:48.920 All right.

01:06:57.940 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck Program.

01:06:59.360 I am Jason Whitlock.

01:07:01.180 Uncle Jimmy, I got to be honest with you.

01:07:02.520 I didn't know they did it like that.

01:07:03.740 That intro bump music, you know.

01:07:05.300 That was nice.

01:07:05.820 That was nice.

01:07:06.240 I felt that a little bit.

01:07:07.980 What was the name of the spot you used to DJ at?

01:07:10.860 The Firelight.

01:07:11.440 The Firelight.

01:07:11.920 Yeah, that had me kind of feeling like we was back at the Firelight.

01:07:14.120 All right, hey, listen, I hope you're enjoying this special edition of the Glenn Beck Program.

01:07:20.300 I am Jason Whitlock sitting in for Glenn Beck.

01:07:23.920 I want to, I just went 20 some odd minutes straight there and I got a little emotional and on fire.

01:07:30.660 I want to hear from Stu and Uncle Jimmy about my explanation of Capital B and the ideological descendants of slavery.

01:07:40.860 Did I make my point?

01:07:42.360 I don't know, Jimmy.

01:07:44.420 You think, what do you think?

01:07:46.280 In the first hour or the second hour?

01:07:48.100 I don't know.

01:07:48.980 I was conflicted on where you stood.

01:07:50.800 I have no idea.

01:07:51.840 What are you trying to say? 1.00

01:07:54.020 You know, you brought up a point and let me ask a very stupid white guy question here for a second. 0.98

01:08:00.740 You brought up a point that I really, really connected with me, which is the idea of talking about someone and using the color of their skin as their defining characteristic. 0.99

01:08:12.360 That is, to me, not only wrong, but demeaning.

01:08:17.840 Like, it is a...

01:08:19.040 Racist.

01:08:20.100 Racist, right? 0.97

01:08:20.900 And racism, at its core, is collectivism.

01:08:24.240 I mean, it is.

01:08:24.960 You can't separate the two.

01:08:26.880 It's talking about someone as a member of a group rather than an individual with personal merit and all the things that we strive for.

01:08:36.020 And you connect with me completely on that.

01:08:38.980 And I think you connect with everybody in the audience when you talk about that.

01:08:41.640 Because I don't...

01:08:42.680 That's not what I want to see.

01:08:43.840 That was...

01:08:44.200 When I was brought up, I was taught that racism was looking at someone and judging them by their skin color.

01:08:49.560 And that's the opposite of what I want.

01:08:51.060 I don't...

01:08:51.680 I want to judge someone by the content of their character.

01:08:54.560 So, what you said, I think, completely connects.

01:08:58.500 Why does it connect with you and Uncle Jimmy and me, but not the majority of the African American community?

01:09:09.100 Can I answer that?

01:09:10.480 Go ahead.

01:09:11.340 You take the first wing.

01:09:12.640 I got...

01:09:12.980 I'm going to answer that because a couple of times in your last segment, you made the analogy of when we were brought up in church, what our grandmothers taught us.

01:09:25.980 You know, you got a group of kids now that when they die, you got to pay the preacher to do their service.

01:09:30.780 The preacher don't even know who these kids are when they die because they've never been to church.

01:09:35.000 They've never had the basis of love of God.

01:09:38.140 They don't know the word, you know.

01:09:39.860 So, for you to sit up here and for us to think that they had it in them to begin with, they never had it.

01:09:46.100 And we're giving them the benefit.

01:09:47.240 Oh, everybody went to church.

01:09:48.560 No, you didn't.

01:09:49.320 You ever heard some of these people try to pray?

01:09:51.200 They don't know how to pray.

01:09:52.440 My grandmother taught me to pray.

01:09:54.300 I know what prayer do for you.

01:09:56.280 People only like to pray now when they're going through hard times.

01:09:59.240 I pray when things is going good.

01:10:01.900 You know what I mean?

01:10:02.460 I'm just saying, you know.

01:10:04.640 Jim, you've made an excellent point.

01:10:06.360 And I don't think my addition can top what you just said because you got right to the heart of it.

01:10:14.140 But I would just add this.

01:10:16.420 In the space that I operate in, in the media, I look at.

01:10:22.960 We have been trained and miseducated by academia and the media.

01:10:29.120 And when you look at, I'm going to follow up on Jim's point, and people won't fully understand it.

01:10:40.280 But when, because I'm a product of desegregation and busing in school systems and things like that.

01:10:49.540 They started busing kids into my school system when I was in seventh grade.

01:10:53.780 So I know some of the benefits of forced desegregation. 1.00

01:10:59.780 But there was also some downside.

01:11:02.920 And so when you start taking kids away from their base of support and turning them over to a profession that is dominated, just quite honestly, by white liberals, controlled by their guilt.

01:11:16.500 And then they start teaching you things that move you away from your family, neighborhood base of support and the values there.

01:11:28.320 And so there's a lot of young kids, not only were they not brought up in the church, but their educational process has been, they've been told by professors and teachers, your skin color makes you a victim.

01:11:44.720 Your skin color tells you everything you need to know about America. 0.64

01:11:49.620 And they've been taught this way.

01:11:52.020 And then the entire media and social media teaches you that your skin color explains everything. 0.84

01:12:02.080 And so they've just kind of followed along.

01:12:05.260 And when you disconnect people, and again, this has been, and I wrote about this in a, in another piece about how there had been a long tradition all the way up to Martin Luther King's death, that America's moral compass had been black religious men.

01:12:26.180 Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King, Bishop Richard Allen, who started the AME church in the 1700s.

01:12:35.260 We had been holding America morally accountable.

01:12:40.860 And I believe that Russia, China, communist, Cuba, communist run countries understood that.

01:12:50.380 And that's why there has been such an attack on the black church and disconnecting black people from the church.

01:12:58.720 And, and, and I hear you, Stu, when you basically you content the character that that's, that is Martin Luther King.

01:13:05.260 And, and, and there are people sitting out there so cynical that think, uh, Stu acts like he likes Martin Luther King now, but if he was in the 1960s, he would hate Martin Luther King.

01:13:19.860 And, and, and the reality is that when you're a prophet like Martin Luther King was, when you are a visionary like Martin Luther King was, your message is ahead of its time.

01:13:35.140 And so people did receive Martin Luther King's message in the 1960s and fifties negatively.

01:13:44.460 He was ahead of the culture.

01:13:46.460 And so the people in the culture at that time objected, but the people that came after, they weren't ahead of his message.

01:13:55.880 You came after Dr. King and you heard that message and it made sense to you because that's where America had evolved to.

01:14:04.740 I would probably born in 75, 76, 76.

01:14:09.460 Okay.

01:14:10.140 And so I look a little older than I am apparently.

01:14:13.340 And so you heard that message and it connects with you.

01:14:18.680 And there are a lot of people like, yeah, that is what America is about, you know, judging people by the content of their character.

01:14:26.760 And, and, and there's this whole cynical thing.

01:14:29.340 He's just saying that.

01:14:30.640 And he hated Martin Luther King.

01:14:31.940 You wasn't even around.

01:14:33.200 You was born in 1975.

01:14:35.800 You, you heard the history and the story and the legend of MLK and responded positively to it.

01:14:43.000 And you really, that's the America you want to live in.

01:14:46.160 Yeah.

01:14:46.960 And, you know, I understood that vision.

01:14:50.180 I mean, Martin Luther King was always taught to me as a hero, right?

01:14:52.860 There was never a time where he was ever mentioned in a negative light in, at least that I ever remember growing up.

01:15:00.580 And my understanding of this world and this, this thing that we were all doing together was we all agreed on that end goal.

01:15:08.060 We all agreed that at the end of the day, what we want is a society where we judge each other on the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

01:15:15.440 On the merit of the person, on the heart, on the soul, on the brain, on, on, on the, on the value of the individual.

01:15:22.320 And my understanding of this whole process was sometimes we blew it.

01:15:27.100 Sometimes we screwed that up.

01:15:28.940 Sometimes, you know, there's a bunch of really bad people who do that too often.

01:15:33.000 Some people who are good people and, and screw it up sometimes.

01:15:36.500 Everybody has problems.

01:15:37.920 There's sin in this world, as you mentioned today.

01:15:39.800 But I feel like lately, over the past few years, and with the, with the, the prominence of Ibram Kendi, with the rise in prominence of, of white fragility, of these sort of messages, that goal has changed.

01:15:56.820 No longer are we shooting for a world in which we're all treated equally, have equal opportunity, and are judged by, on our merits.

01:16:06.100 We're now at a point, I mean, Ibram Kendi says it explicitly.

01:16:08.840 He says the only solution for past discrimination is present discrimination.

01:16:12.760 The only solution for present discrimination is future discrimination.

01:16:16.200 This is a guy who has a children's book on sale at Target.

01:16:20.000 Like, he is, he is advocating for discrimination, and he has a children's book on sale at freaking Target.

01:16:29.360 And I don't know, Jason, has that goal changed?

01:16:33.880 It has for non-believers, certainly. 0.88

01:16:36.180 And I'm very suspicious of any man that, or any person, who, when they start talking about solutions, they don't, first and foremost, and again, here in America, it starts with faith.

01:16:52.420 And I'm just sorry, every solution starts with faith.

01:16:55.760 And if you have faith, and again, I don't think a person that has faith can say, you know what, discrimination is the solution.

01:17:05.720 It's just not.

01:17:07.820 And I understand that the generational starting points for us in America are different.

01:17:18.140 I get that.

01:17:19.300 I get that as a descendant of a slave, perhaps generationally, not even perhaps, you're starting at a different place than people that inherited wealth.

01:17:33.520 But again, you have to take a very sophisticated look at America and understand that there are some people that are first-generation immigrants that, again, or their parents were first-generation immigrants.

01:17:45.540 They don't feel, and they justify me, don't feel, I didn't start ahead of you.

01:17:51.360 And I got friends that were like, I can tell you some horror stories about growing up and where I came from.

01:17:58.080 And I was just as poor.

01:18:00.920 One 400 square foot apartment, you was living in a lap of luxury, Jason.

01:18:06.300 And if you haven't been a lot of places, like I used to live in South Carolina, and I was like, man, I thought I was poor.

01:18:12.280 And then I saw some poverty in the South.

01:18:15.440 I was like, holy hell.

01:18:17.800 I saw dirt floors in the 1990s with a hole in the floor that served as an oven.

01:18:26.240 I saw that in the 1990s.

01:18:28.620 Athletes that I was covering living in those conditions.

01:18:32.860 I was like, wow.

01:18:35.980 I had a couch to sleep on.

01:18:38.140 I might as well have been at the Marriott.

01:18:42.280 Talk about God is good.

01:18:46.160 Talk about God is, oh, he gave me a couch.

01:18:51.700 All right, listen, we're going to take a break.

01:18:54.480 We're going to come back with more of this discussion.

01:18:56.740 I got more to say, believe it or not.

01:18:58.340 No.

01:18:58.720 No way.

01:18:59.320 I don't believe him.

01:19:00.600 What?

01:19:01.000 I don't believe him.

01:19:01.720 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.

01:19:03.500 I'm Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn.

01:20:16.820 R-E-C-T-E-Q dot com. 1.00

01:20:23.040 All right, welcome back to the Glenn Beck program.

01:20:25.160 I am Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck.

01:20:29.500 You can reach me over Twitter.

01:20:31.200 I was just reading through my Twitter mention.

01:20:32.820 It sounds like some of you are enjoying the show at Whitlock Jason.

01:20:36.760 Uh, I'm going to give out the phone number.

01:20:39.140 I'm not sure we're going to take calls, but eight, eight, eight, seven, two, seven, two, three, two, five.

01:20:43.760 We don't take calls today, which we might.

01:20:46.440 We'll certainly take some calls tomorrow.

01:20:48.400 I'll be back tomorrow hosting the show and maybe I'll bring you guys into the conversation.

01:20:52.120 But right now I'm still talking to Stu and, and uncle Jimmy.

01:20:58.400 And I wanted the Jim, do you have anything else you'd like to add from on senior?

01:21:04.760 You know, you were vigorously taking notes.

01:21:06.760 Did we, did I leave out anything from the last segment?

01:21:09.340 Cause got to be a little bit tight in this segment.

01:21:11.920 So I don't want to go into another rant.

01:21:13.900 And the next thing I know they're screaming at me to take a break.

01:21:17.980 Uh, I would just totally alleviate the fact of you cannot act like when I walk into a building,

01:21:24.020 the first thing that you don't see is my magnanimous black skin.

01:21:27.600 Okay.

01:21:28.040 Okay.

01:21:28.380 You can't act like you don't see that now you have to get past that.

01:21:32.220 And if that's all you see, that's okay.

01:21:34.460 But I also know as a black man, I have this much time to convince you that if you look past

01:21:40.020 that, that's your miss. 0.82

01:21:41.260 Okay.

01:21:41.680 I know that that's my job to know.

01:21:43.760 So let's not act like that doesn't exist.

01:21:45.900 But let me just say this real quick.

01:21:47.240 Hold on.

01:21:47.440 I want you to stay there though.

01:21:48.620 Okay.

01:21:48.860 What do you mean?

01:21:49.520 When you walk into a room, what do you think happens?

01:21:52.640 When I walk into a room, it's called, I am what I think you think I am.

01:21:58.480 I know that when I walk into this room, you see me as a black man.

01:22:02.700 Okay.

01:22:03.200 But what I have to show you is I'm a man.

01:22:05.320 I know.

01:22:05.920 But, but why do you think he doesn't see you as a man?

01:22:09.980 You, you miss, let's misinterpret what I said.

01:22:12.800 I said, I think that, see, that's that internal that you were speaking of earlier that that's

01:22:18.320 that thing that I carry.

01:22:19.460 I feel like when you see me, you're not, he already looks at me like I'm a, you see

01:22:24.040 what I mean?

01:22:24.500 Yep.

01:22:24.920 You know, but see what, what you don't, and I have a strong sense of pride about me that

01:22:29.700 I don't let that worry me.

01:22:30.880 But too many people adopt that, you know, that's their title, you know, oh, I know he

01:22:35.320 ain't going to give me a job in the first place.

01:22:37.360 That's why I didn't really try. 0.99

01:22:38.760 No, that's why your butt ain't got no job because you don't like to work. 0.98

01:22:41.500 That's what that is. 0.98

01:22:42.940 That's interesting.

01:22:43.500 I mean, what I was going to say was we as a people, we have the tendency to require

01:22:48.680 more out of others than what we're willing to require out of ourself.

01:22:53.120 You know, we, we, we, we act, we like to act like we think that the N word, we have the

01:22:58.800 rights to that and you can't call me that, but we can call each other that I want you

01:23:03.720 to honor black lives. 0.99

01:23:05.540 I want you as a white person to honor it, but it's okay if I kill everybody up in my 1.00

01:23:09.460 neighborhood and kill everybody up in the house. 1.00

01:23:10.960 You understand? 0.99

01:23:12.500 I can't expect you to understand what the hell I'm saying when I don't know what the

01:23:17.160 hell I'm saying to you.

01:23:19.840 Okay, I'm done.

01:23:21.020 I'm going to translate one of your, I'm going to translate something you just said.

01:23:25.580 Jim Brown, the football great, a mentor and a friend of mine, one of his pet sayings

01:23:32.700 is as black people, we buy what we want and beg for what we need.

01:23:40.960 Knock if you hear me.

01:23:43.820 Buy what we want and beg for what we need.

01:23:47.720 Because it's for us, buy us.

01:23:50.580 Fool's boo, huh?

01:23:52.260 Fool's boo. 0.99

01:23:54.120 All right. 0.98

01:23:54.840 Hey, stick around.

01:23:56.260 I'm going to go on another rant at the top of the hour and get us through the final hour

01:24:01.620 of the show.

01:24:02.000 I'm Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck.

01:25:46.720 But all of that online activity means there are many more chances of exposing your personal

01:25:52.200 information.

01:25:52.700 In fact, 64% of adults admit to risking online privacy for convenience.

01:25:58.700 I've done it.

01:25:59.520 But whether you're buying gifts or getting something special for yourself, you may not

01:26:02.980 even know that your identity has been compromised or your info has been sold on the dark web.

01:26:37.620 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck program.

01:26:46.440 I am Jason Whitlock filling in for Glenn Beck.

01:26:49.660 Happy Tuesday.

01:26:51.100 I'll be back tomorrow filling in for Glenn as well.

01:26:53.700 All right.

01:26:53.900 We got 53 minutes left in this show.

01:26:55.860 I want to make the most of it.

01:26:57.680 Uh, I want to bring one more column topic that I wrote about into this discussion.

01:27:04.340 I wrote a column for Outkick about the unapologetically black Olympics and it's a rigged Olympics run 1.00

01:27:13.300 by white liberals.

01:27:14.880 And, you know, I'm all apologize up front for calling them out, but the facts say I have to, uh, the people running Hollywood, the movie industry, the music industry, uh, the zeitgeist basically have participated in putting black people in a certain lane. 0.98

01:27:35.040 And there's a goal you'll see among liberal websites or platforms where someone's being unapologetically black and that's great. 0.98

01:27:48.380 And, and, and I just sit there and go, I've never seen someone, someone's being unapologetically Asian or unapologetically yellow or brown or white.

01:28:01.160 Asian people consider being called yellow and insult.

01:28:05.680 They don't want to be defined by their skin color, but we have this rigged Olympics taking place every day over social media about how can you be unapologetically black and everybody sees it as a good thing. 0.94

01:28:25.140 And I don't because it's not because our skin color for all of us is just some packaging God provided us.

01:28:36.300 It's just, it's not our most important characteristic.

01:28:39.560 And so other people, while you're running around trying to be unapologetically black, other people are running around.

01:28:48.800 I want to be unapologetically Christian. 0.98

01:28:51.720 I want to be unapologetically intelligent.

01:28:55.540 I want to be unapologetically honest, unapologetically patriotic.

01:29:01.760 All these other things are open to them.

01:29:05.940 While we try to live up to a skin color. 0.93

01:29:09.560 And that locks you into a mentality and trying to be something that other people actually control what that is.

01:29:23.380 Because all it is, is pop culture and the zeitgeist telling you what being black is and look at how they have defined it. 0.97

01:29:32.340 Rappers who rap about dealing drugs and killing other black people, they're unapologetically black. 1.00

01:29:42.620 You won't hear anybody question their blackness unless they meet with President Trump. 1.00

01:29:49.900 Kanye got tossed out.

01:29:51.340 Ice Cube got tossed out for working with them.

01:29:53.660 But bottom line, rappers, unapologetically black. 0.87

01:30:01.660 And what do they, drug dealing, they promote. 0.99

01:30:05.740 Misogyny. 0.99

01:30:08.800 Violence towards other black people. 1.00

01:30:11.900 Saying the n-word. 1.00

01:30:13.300 There's nothing more unapologetically black than a black person saying the n-word publicly. 0.99

01:30:18.900 Look how black he is. 1.00

01:30:20.080 He said the n-word. 0.97

01:30:22.000 Dave Chappelle went on Saturday Night Live in front of all of America on NBC and said the n-word repeatedly. 0.88

01:30:29.540 That's how you become unapologetically black. 1.00

01:30:33.540 Or maybe it's the gold chain and the type of suit you wear. 0.98

01:30:38.980 Unapologetically black. 1.00

01:30:42.580 Again, in this competition, and America is a competition. 0.55

01:30:46.400 Do you see Asian Americans sending their kids out into the world?

01:30:51.620 Go be unapologetically Asian. 1.00

01:30:53.640 Go be unapologetically yellow.

01:30:56.180 No.

01:30:56.920 They send their kids out.

01:30:59.020 You go show the world how smart you are.

01:31:01.120 You go show the world how hard you work.

01:31:05.060 And again, in this country that the left has defined as unapologetically racist,

01:31:13.060 Asians are actually achieving at a higher level than everybody else.

01:31:21.340 Everybody in almost every category.

01:31:26.120 Oh, and so literally they're trying to fix this problem.

01:31:31.700 They're going to redefine Asians as white. 0.98

01:31:34.580 I'm not joking.

01:31:36.040 This is already.

01:31:37.200 They've already started this class.

01:31:39.500 Well, Asians are now white. 0.99

01:31:41.900 And this is liberals doing this.

01:31:44.120 This isn't white conservatives.

01:31:48.080 Glenn Beck's not doing this.

01:31:50.540 Sean Hannity isn't doing this.

01:31:53.020 All the people that are so terrible for the world and so.

01:31:56.760 Rush Limbaugh.

01:31:57.640 He's not doing this.

01:32:00.780 White liberals are. 0.92

01:32:03.440 Asians, the new white. 1.00

01:32:05.300 They're going to have a TV show. 0.98

01:32:06.840 Orange is the new black.

01:32:07.900 And again, just think about that show.

01:32:10.240 Orange is the new black.

01:32:11.500 Did I got the name of that show right?

01:32:13.740 Yeah, I think so.

01:32:14.660 The word is orange.

01:32:16.860 Orange, not orange.

01:32:18.360 But yes, orange is the new black.

01:32:20.140 Yes.

01:32:20.420 I just want you to think about that.

01:32:22.720 Right.

01:32:23.100 And how people eat up.

01:32:24.840 Jim, you worked in law enforcement inside a jail.

01:32:28.680 Isn't orange what prisoners wear?

01:32:30.300 It's the new black. 0.95

01:32:32.000 And they've called.

01:32:32.860 Just think about.

01:32:33.680 There's a TV show saying an orange prison uniform is the new black.

01:32:39.440 There's a lot more truth to that than what you might realize.

01:32:41.780 I get it.

01:32:43.420 I get it.

01:32:44.580 But I just.

01:32:47.620 This Olympics and the Olympics is made up.

01:32:51.280 But it's like there's a contest every day over social media that black Twitter and whatever algorithm Jack Dorsey has set up for Twitter that gets to say who's the blackest today.

01:33:01.500 And Stu, help me out here.

01:33:05.140 Do you. 1.00

01:33:06.860 It's a stupid question. 1.00

01:33:08.540 But do you ever wake up more? 1.00

01:33:10.180 Let me show the world how white I am.

01:33:13.140 Absolutely not.

01:33:14.600 It is.

01:33:15.480 I.

01:33:16.040 I.

01:33:16.620 I fascinated by this because why.

01:33:19.400 Why skin color? 0.69

01:33:20.860 Why not some other immutable characteristic?

01:33:23.960 Why is this the focus?

01:33:25.620 I mean, I do see.

01:33:27.280 Here's what they would say.

01:33:28.440 No, you made it the focus.

01:33:30.140 White people did when back in slavery. 0.99

01:33:32.120 Y'all made it the focus.

01:33:33.180 Whoever whoever did it, though, was wrong.

01:33:34.900 Right.

01:33:35.160 Right.

01:33:35.660 I mean, I just to me, it's something it's something that you do.

01:33:39.640 Like you mentioned this last last hour, Jimmy, like it's something you notice about people.

01:33:43.280 Right.

01:33:43.600 Of course.

01:33:43.980 You notice I might notice a gender or I might notice a skin color or I might notice hair color or anything else.

01:33:49.860 Exactly.

01:33:50.300 There's no reason for this to be the constant focus of our lives.

01:33:53.480 I know.

01:33:54.040 You know, look, it means literally nothing to me that I'm white.

01:33:57.660 Now, people say that that's your white privilege.

01:33:59.900 That's what they say is my white privilege.

01:34:01.360 I don't have to think about my skin color.

01:34:03.520 I don't have any pride in being white. 0.99

01:34:05.640 I think of my I know a lot of awful white people. 1.00

01:34:08.660 A lot of them suck. 1.00

01:34:09.900 Right. 1.00

01:34:10.500 It has it doesn't do anything for or against them in my eyes.

01:34:14.700 At least that's, of course, the goal.

01:34:16.300 It's not to say everyone's perfect at these standards.

01:34:18.180 But like something like that is not important to me.

01:34:21.800 And I don't think it should be important to anyone.

01:34:24.100 I mean, I think that's the goal.

01:34:25.160 I think if the end of the day, if we're not making generalizations based on immutable characteristics, this is good.

01:34:32.640 If we don't if there's never another policy in our government or anywhere else that is made based on skin color, that is a big win. 1.00

01:34:42.240 We should never judge someone by their skin color.

01:34:45.940 That is the opposite of what we should be doing.

01:34:49.140 And I think you've pointed this out so well in these columns for OutKick that we should make sure we post on all the social media because it is this constant focus that and it does seem to be, as you point out, only African-Americans who have to hit this standard.

01:35:06.640 They don't they have to live up to some defined black generalization.

01:35:13.300 They have to hit these standards to prove themselves part of this group.

01:35:18.420 Just an it's an impossibly unfair standard for anyone to hit.

01:35:23.520 And for whatever reason, and I think I think you've nailed the cause when it comes to white liberals.

01:35:28.420 I'd love to hear more about the reason why you think why it's happening, because it is it's a it's a major problem and it's something we all fight with.

01:35:37.700 It's there's a control political issue. 0.91

01:35:41.000 The entire and again, I don't vote.

01:35:45.560 I haven't voted. 0.99

01:35:47.360 I'm the facts are making me appear to be a political partisan because I just have to speak against the stupidity that I see. 0.99

01:35:57.220 And so those facts are forcing me here. 0.99

01:36:00.280 But the entire Democratic platform seems to be based off of race.

01:36:07.100 The entire their whole political strategy is vote for us to prove you're not racist.

01:36:15.060 That is their platform.

01:36:16.900 Yeah, there's no policy behind it.

01:36:19.120 There's no hey, here's what we need to do to keep pace with India or China or to make sure that we maintain these freedoms or here's what we need to do to bring jobs and economic growth to America.

01:36:35.360 The platform is be a Democrat or be accused of being a racist and people don't or if you're black be accused of being a sellout.

01:36:45.460 So their entire platform is just that it's a dog whistle. 0.91

01:36:51.880 It's a it's a it's a beard.

01:36:55.260 It's a it's you know what'll make your life easier.

01:36:59.200 No one will ever call you racist if you just pull this Democratic lever and call yourself a liberal.

01:37:04.740 And so it's just a it's a life simplifier.

01:37:07.980 And that is their political platform and strategy.

01:37:11.080 And it does not improve America again.

01:37:16.920 Just go look at the arc of America's racial narrative.

01:37:22.260 It has always been in constant improvement until they turn race into a religion and remove God as our religion, as our faith. 0.96

01:37:36.180 And our country is falling apart.

01:37:38.980 Our cities are being looted, rioted.

01:37:42.180 People are being harassed, black and white people. 0.96

01:37:44.940 You have Antifa thugs harassing, damaging businesses, harming human beings. 0.96

01:37:53.960 The Antifa is the new KKK. 0.84

01:37:58.300 Anybody that looks at it factually.

01:38:01.620 They are the KKK working alongside Black Lives Matters to intimidate people. 0.89

01:38:08.980 To support the Democratic Party.

01:38:10.860 And if you go back and look at the history of the KKK.

01:38:16.780 Its job in the 1800s, the 1850s, 60s, when it was invented.

01:38:23.180 Was to intimidate people into supporting the Democratic political party.

01:38:28.200 Nothing has changed.

01:38:29.620 I'm Glenn Beck.

01:38:30.760 I know you're not.

01:38:31.760 I'm Jason Whitlock.

01:38:32.560 You really don't care about skin color, do you?

01:38:35.100 You're listening to the Glenn Beck's program.

01:38:36.940 I'm driving off, Lonnie.

01:38:37.580 Here we are in 2020, in the thick of a heated and contested election during the biggest pandemic the world has ever seen, at least in a century.

01:38:53.460 And while nobody was looking, a massive trade deal was spearheaded by China, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.

01:39:01.880 That includes 15 countries and notably excludes the U.S.

01:39:06.800 This is a direct attack on the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency.

01:39:11.320 The only good news here is for precious metals, which historically perform well when the U.S. dollar loses stability.

01:39:18.180 Both Goldman Sachs and Citibank see the dollar plunging in 2021, with the latter calling for a 20% drop in value.

01:39:26.360 They have been helping me personally for over 10 years and other investors for over 60 years.

01:39:32.280 Call them today.

01:39:33.000 Find out how to protect your long-term portfolio with precious metals.

01:39:36.660 Ask about their retirement account specials, holiday specials, and their accumulation program.

01:39:41.160 Don't wait.

01:39:41.780 Call them right now.

01:39:43.100 866-GOLD-LINE.

01:39:44.260 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck program.

01:39:56.740 I am Jason Whitlock sitting in for Glenn Beck.

01:40:00.440 All right.

01:40:00.920 When we left off, I was making an interesting point that, Uncle Jimmy, you had something.

01:40:05.800 I think I was making an interesting point.

01:40:07.080 You had something you wanted to add here?

01:40:09.620 Well, I just had the question as I was listening to you.

01:40:11.960 It was like, when did this happen?

01:40:13.440 When did this occur in our culture?

01:40:16.920 And just listening to you.

01:40:18.220 When did what define, when what happened?

01:40:20.120 When we started being defined, it was like, racism is popular.

01:40:26.380 There's money to be made in racism.

01:40:29.680 And I guess what I meant was, when I was listening to you talk, I guess I go back to the Jordan shoes. 0.83

01:40:36.080 Those became our shoes.

01:40:37.980 Those were the shoes that the inner city kids wanted to have, that they had to have. 0.87

01:40:41.880 And those were shoes that kids started losing their lives over.

01:40:47.040 You know, you priced these shoes so high, but we had to have them.

01:40:51.280 And now, you know, we're still there.

01:40:54.300 I'm simply saying, there's big money in racism on both sides of the market. 0.96

01:40:59.200 Let's not act like, you know, that you're black. 0.99

01:41:02.700 There's money there. 0.91

01:41:03.540 There, I agree with you that there has been a business built around racism.

01:41:11.780 And it's like Al Sharpton, CEO.

01:41:15.500 Black Lives Matter, CEO.

01:41:18.500 Or chief financial officer.

01:41:21.560 There's some CFO.

01:41:22.900 That the Sean King dude over Twitter.

01:41:28.280 Oh, my God.

01:41:29.920 The racism business is so profitable.

01:41:32.340 Oh, my God.

01:41:33.200 I want another hour of you talking about him.

01:41:35.720 Hold on.

01:41:35.940 But the racism industry is so profitable that Sean King is like, man, I ain't white. 0.63

01:41:41.120 I'm black.

01:41:41.540 I want to get in on this business.

01:41:46.040 Can I be a salesman for racism?

01:41:47.860 You know so much about blackness. 1.00

01:41:49.080 Get out of here, dude. 0.98

01:41:50.360 Literally, that's what he did. 0.99

01:41:51.340 He goes, I want to be a black salesman. 0.95

01:41:52.620 I want to be a race salesman. 0.99

01:41:53.960 I got to be black. 0.98

01:41:55.440 I'm black.

01:41:56.940 I know I look white.

01:41:58.280 I know my daddy's white.

01:41:59.560 My mama's white.

01:42:00.700 My birth certificate says I'm white.

01:42:02.580 But I got a black beard.

01:42:04.780 But I'm black.

01:42:07.740 I went to Howard.

01:42:08.800 And I tricked Oprah into paying for me to go to college because I was pretending to be black.

01:42:15.560 Only in America.

01:42:16.700 That's how good the race.

01:42:17.720 And here's what has happened to racism.

01:42:21.160 And I say this without any humor.

01:42:24.240 Racism is an opinion now.

01:42:26.900 It's an opinion.

01:42:28.660 It's not a law.

01:42:30.880 And again, like Dr. Martin Luther King and the civil rights generation, they were fighting discriminatory laws.

01:42:36.740 Slavery was a law.

01:42:40.160 We had a civil war.

01:42:42.400 About what kind of country we're going to be.

01:42:44.060 What were our laws going to allow?

01:42:46.360 Were we going to live up to the declaration of independence that all men are created equal?

01:42:53.320 And.

01:42:55.260 Then.

01:42:56.060 So I get.

01:42:58.640 Fighting laws.

01:42:59.680 And this is where I've been trying to explain to people.

01:43:04.960 And this is, again, why I want to do this program and have this discussion and invite people into the discussion and into the solution is because we need to just like explain to people, not just black people, but all of America.

01:43:24.120 What does America actually promise?

01:43:30.200 What?

01:43:30.820 Because what we've turned it into the people running the unapologetically black Olympics, the liberals, we've turned it into America promises love. 0.84

01:43:40.660 And until we're loved universally, America is inherently racist.

01:43:47.200 And America does not promise love.

01:43:50.320 America promises freedom.

01:43:51.700 The declaration of independence.

01:43:55.160 Our constitution is about freedom.

01:43:58.820 What you do with that freedom is on you.

01:44:04.700 Love.

01:44:05.440 I can tell you who promises love.

01:44:08.460 And I wish Glenn needs a Bible in here.

01:44:12.400 Because I would hold it up right now.

01:44:14.640 God, Jesus promises love.

01:44:18.380 And so the people running around making TV commercials, you love me, you love me, not.

01:44:27.940 You love my culture, but you don't love me.

01:44:33.060 Well, you need to talk to God and yourself about that.

01:44:38.880 America does not promise love.

01:44:41.340 It can't deliver on that.

01:44:43.480 If you understand the world, sin entered into the world.

01:44:49.180 It was not what God intended, but it entered into the world and it's not going anywhere.

01:44:55.760 So what can you do to protect yourself from sin?

01:45:02.220 Immerse yourself in the love of God.

01:45:05.900 Immerse yourself in the philosophies, the teachings, the wisdoms, the principles, the values given to you right there in that good book, the Holy Bible.

01:45:15.400 That will protect you from sin and will stop you from engulfing yourself in sin and destroying yourself.

01:45:30.160 Don't look to America for what God can only provide.

01:45:36.240 America is going to provide you freedom.

01:45:38.780 Freedom that's its most valuable resource.

01:45:41.980 That's why Chris rocks, not Chris rocks, Dave Chappelle's great grandfather said he, he was education, freedom, and Jesus Christ, freedom, and Jesus Christ.

01:45:54.960 You can't separate them.

01:45:57.160 And we've allowed it to be separated.

01:45:59.560 And we have to put a stop to that.

01:46:01.800 If we want to save this country, we have to believers of any color group. 0.61

01:46:07.680 We have to come together as believers and then our enemies don't stand a chance.

01:46:15.060 Don't fall for the trap.

01:46:16.960 Don't let yourself be racially separated.

01:46:19.400 I am Jason Whitlock.

01:47:38.020 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck Program.

01:47:40.140 I am Jason Whitlock.

01:47:41.480 We're in the final 30 minutes.

01:47:42.840 Thank you for joining me today.

01:47:44.640 I'll be back tomorrow.

01:47:46.160 So will Uncle Jimmy.

01:47:47.100 So will Stu.

01:47:48.080 I hope you've enjoyed our conversation today.

01:47:50.660 888-727-2325 is the phone number to call.

01:47:55.360 I may take some phone calls in the final segment of the show, but I want to get towards a conclusion for today.

01:48:06.780 And just there's still time for you all to invite your friends, people that don't look like you, but who are friends of yours or people that look like you that disagree with you to listen to this program and to start getting an understanding of what we need to do.

01:48:29.880 To start steering America back to where it belongs and back into the values that have made this country great.

01:48:39.540 To me, it starts with those of us that have faith and are believers in moving well beyond our physical appearance differences.

01:48:51.640 The entire world right now is rigged for you to lean into those physical appearance differences. 0.67

01:49:00.640 Social media begs you to do it.

01:49:02.740 Black Lives Matters begs you to do it. 0.84

01:49:05.260 The mainstream media begs you to do it.

01:49:08.020 They want to define every issue and problem along racial lines.

01:49:14.380 Racism has become an opinion.

01:49:17.160 It's not a law.

01:49:18.520 It's not discriminatory policies.

01:49:20.820 It's just someone's opinion.

01:49:23.660 And what I mean by that, I'm going to give you a controversial example, but it's just factual.

01:49:29.520 There is not one shred of evidence that has been produced so far that Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis cop, put his knee on the neck of George Floyd because of racism.

01:49:46.840 There's not one shred of evidence.

01:49:51.740 He very likely was driven by incompetence.

01:49:55.340 Frustration.

01:49:57.840 Frustration. 1.00

01:50:00.620 Stupidity. 1.00

01:50:03.360 All of the above. 1.00

01:50:05.200 Power.

01:50:07.660 OD'd on power.

01:50:09.160 I don't think there has not been one shred of evidence. 0.92

01:50:14.300 He said, oh, here's a black man. 1.00

01:50:15.640 Let me put my knee on his neck and kill him. 1.00

01:50:18.720 It's just an opinion that the mainstream media and social media has given us. 1.00

01:50:23.720 And as long as it is just an opinion, there is no end.

01:50:30.140 And again, that's like the NFL, NBA.

01:50:32.620 Everybody's putting on these slogans.

01:50:34.160 Let's end racism.

01:50:35.480 They got commercials.

01:50:36.740 Dr. Harry Edwards.

01:50:37.700 Let's move the goalpost and end racism.

01:50:40.780 And we're going to move the goalpost or the chains.

01:50:43.440 We're going to move the sticks.

01:50:44.580 I'm not laughing.

01:50:45.600 And end racism.

01:50:48.800 It's an opinion.

01:50:50.540 Right.

01:50:50.760 Jimmy, I got an opinion that I'm the best looking dude in Nashville, Tennessee.

01:50:55.400 And you believe that.

01:50:56.680 You can't end that opinion.

01:51:00.460 You can't.

01:51:01.260 You can't end that opinion.

01:51:03.560 And so, again, the money to be made in just keeping the racism thing going and alive.

01:51:11.300 That's all they're doing because it's just opinions right now.

01:51:15.500 And, again, are there things that happen in America that are unquestionably racist?

01:51:23.060 No question about it.

01:51:24.700 But that's just a form of unfairness because that flows both ways.

01:51:31.620 There are black people doing things to brown, yellow, and white people out of racism.

01:51:38.200 The same as there are white people that have done something to people that don't look like to them out of racism. 1.00

01:51:45.640 But too much of it is being blamed on racism when the reality is human beings do really foolish, unfair, sinful things out of jealousy, out of frustration, out of unchecked emotions, out of incompetence or stupidity. 0.99

01:52:08.960 Or they overdose on their power and they do inappropriate things. 0.98

01:52:18.180 But social media and the mainstream media are addicted to racism as a way to gin up clicks, relevance, traction, ratings.

01:52:30.420 It's desperation.

01:52:31.840 They're playing the game with the American public for television ratings.

01:52:36.500 And those of us who bow to a higher power and embrace those teachings, don't play the game that they have set up for us.

01:52:49.900 Don't give in to bias or bigotry like they want you to.

01:52:56.640 They're trying to trap you.

01:52:59.400 Those of you listening, those of you who have a religious faith, those of you that love this country and or God, they're trying to trick you into the kind of racism that they believe in, that they are guilty of.

01:53:20.300 Don't fall for it.

01:53:24.300 Stand firm on what you believe and start engaging with people that don't look like you solely on those faith based principles. 0.74

01:53:37.760 Don't get distracted.

01:53:39.360 Don't let them turn it into a political discussion.

01:53:42.140 I beg my fan and it's good.

01:53:45.460 It's why I don't embrace politics.

01:53:47.980 It's a distraction from something above and much higher and more powerful.

01:53:55.420 And again, I'm not.

01:53:57.580 The elections are important and they have consequences, but it can't be the focus of your life.

01:54:03.820 If you play that game and because the Democrats, I'm just sorry, this is just factual because they've turned Democratic politics into an entire discussion of race.

01:54:18.820 And that their selling point is be a Democrat, don't be racist.

01:54:25.240 That's why I reject all of it.

01:54:27.840 It's a distraction away from higher principles and a higher calling.

01:54:33.820 I'm out on a little bit of shaky ground with my next statement because I'm going to have to do some more research.

01:54:41.260 But I just don't believe that Thomas Jefferson, when he's writing the Declaration of Independence, I don't think he's these dang wigs or these Republicans or these. 0.98

01:54:52.420 And I don't know what political parties were around it.

01:54:54.600 I got to do some more research.

01:54:56.480 But I just I think he was.

01:55:00.280 Writing the Declaration of Independence, I think they wrote the Constitution.

01:55:03.820 With a higher purpose than just serving political partisanship.

01:55:11.860 They were trying to please the creator.

01:55:17.680 We spend all of our time right now trying to please some political party.

01:55:25.560 Some political identity, some racial identity.

01:55:33.840 If we again, I've written columns about this in terms of what are what do you want to be known for?

01:55:40.880 How do you want people to perceive you?

01:55:43.520 What is your identity?

01:55:45.180 What are the priorities on your identity?

01:55:47.660 I want to be known.

01:55:49.560 I want people to say, hey, that's Jason Woodlock.

01:55:51.340 He's Christian.

01:55:51.900 I really do.

01:55:53.860 And I know I'm flawed and I know that I'm a sinner.

01:55:57.880 I know it.

01:55:59.340 But I still want to be just what you he's a he's a Christian.

01:56:03.320 And then judge me based on do I live up?

01:56:06.320 And I'm going to deal with that because.

01:56:09.040 None of us are perfect.

01:56:12.500 I don't want you to look at me. 0.89

01:56:14.720 Oh, he's black. 1.00

01:56:15.680 Oh, he's a Republican. 0.98

01:56:17.200 Oh, he's a Democrat.

01:56:18.860 Oh, he's a liberal or conservative.

01:56:22.540 I really want to be.

01:56:25.180 Does Jason's actions, his actions.

01:56:28.740 Are they consistent?

01:56:30.460 Is his is he presenting himself in public in a way that glorifies God?

01:56:35.380 And then the second, honestly, this is the way I feel.

01:56:39.240 I want to be judged as an American.

01:56:41.340 Do I bring honor to my country?

01:56:44.820 Those are the most important things.

01:56:47.420 I want.

01:56:48.300 Do I bring honor to my family and the people associated and align with me?

01:56:54.100 Those are important.

01:56:57.680 Skin color.

01:56:59.620 That's a game.

01:57:01.560 That's that's not my defining characteristic.

01:57:04.600 I'm not remotely ashamed.

01:57:06.220 I'm proud of being black.

01:57:07.420 I think black is beautiful.

01:57:08.940 I like my packaging.

01:57:11.080 But it's not a real high priority for me.

01:57:15.660 If you dig into those concepts, that kind of identity, we can fix America.

01:57:24.200 We can beat the rigging of the algorithms coming out of Silicon Valley intended to destroy and remake America.

01:57:33.240 Into a into a secular country.

01:57:37.860 Into a socialist, communist, Marxist country.

01:57:41.940 That is the end game and the goal that is going on.

01:57:46.000 We can defeat it.

01:57:47.640 If we just double down on our founding principles.

01:57:53.060 And when I say that, I'm talking about our country, but I'm talking to those of you whose founding principles.

01:57:58.460 You had a mother, a father, a teacher, an aunt, an uncle, a grandmother that founded you in religious faith and beliefs, Christian faith and beliefs, some sort of higher power beliefs.

01:58:12.980 If your foundation started there, lean into those principles.

01:58:18.060 That's how we fix this country.

01:58:20.780 You do not have to be some holy roller that wears it on his sleeves.

01:58:26.340 I don't.

01:58:27.120 Again, I'm giving you this conversation and this talk because it is necessary for you to understand where I'm coming from and how we fix this country.

01:58:35.060 But even those of you that don't believe, you can help as well if you just love this country and recognize, even if you disagree with it, recognize the values and principles that founded this country and why you love this country.

01:58:50.740 Because none of you are leaving.

01:58:53.600 You can complain, whine and all you want.

01:58:55.700 There's no place better.

01:58:58.340 Our programming at the start was right.

01:59:02.420 We need to double down on that.

01:59:06.100 I'm Jason Whitlock.

01:59:07.560 You're listening to the Glenn Beck Program.

01:59:10.940 You're listening to Glenn Beck.

01:59:23.680 Here we are in 2020 in the thick of a heated and contested election during the biggest pandemic the world has ever seen,

01:59:31.460 at least in a century.

01:59:33.240 And while nobody was looking, a massive trade deal was spearheaded by China, the regional comprehensive economic partnership that includes 15 countries and notably excludes the U.S.

01:59:46.520 This is a direct attack on the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency.

01:59:51.020 The only good news here is for precious metals, which historically perform well when the U.S. dollar loses stability.

01:59:57.720 Both Goldman Sachs and Citibank see the dollar plunging in 2021, with the latter calling for a 20% drop in value.

02:00:06.460 They have been helping me personally for over 10 years and other investors for over 60 years.

02:00:11.940 Call them today.

02:00:12.720 Find out how to protect your long-term portfolio with precious metals.

02:00:16.380 Ask about their retirement account specials, holiday specials, and their accumulation program.

02:00:20.900 Don't wait.

02:00:21.500 Call them right now.

02:00:22.700 Call 866-GOLDLINE.

02:00:34.980 Welcome back to the Glenn Beck program.

02:00:36.980 I am Jason Whitlock.

02:00:38.280 This is the final segment of the show today.

02:00:41.120 I'll be back tomorrow with Stu and Uncle Jimmy.

02:00:43.580 I'm going to just say this because I know we're a bit short on time and I don't want to run out of time and not be able to say it.

02:00:50.020 But I'm so thankful to Glenn for inviting me to sit in for him.

02:00:56.060 And, you know, Glenn and I met last week when I was here in Dallas.

02:01:00.140 I came on the show and I started today's show talking about the kindred spirit and energy that I felt from Glenn.

02:01:09.140 And it was an organic thing.

02:01:14.340 It wasn't something I expected.

02:01:16.640 You know, I was respectful of Glenn and the work he's done.

02:01:20.900 But I'm like everybody else.

02:01:22.640 I've read what the mainstream media has tried to do to Glenn's reputation.

02:01:27.600 And so I didn't know what to expect.

02:01:29.620 I didn't expect to feel what I felt between Glenn and I and just it.

02:01:37.640 This message that I've been trying to deliver today started last week when I met Glenn,

02:01:45.140 because I think there is real power and change in the energy that I felt between Glenn and myself.

02:01:55.460 I feel like Glenn has a passion.

02:01:58.480 I have not discussed this with Glenn, but I think Glenn has a passion for racial harmony and America, just like I do.

02:02:07.400 And we didn't have some big discussion about it.

02:02:10.560 It was just something I could feel.

02:02:11.820 He took me over to his museum and I'm looking at all these artifacts and things that he had.

02:02:17.500 And.

02:02:17.680 America is at a critical time.

02:02:24.180 And if we don't come together, people that look different, but share a spirit and energy,

02:02:34.160 if we don't come together and work together and model for the rest of America, like, hey,

02:02:42.440 man, I know these Marxists and the people on the far left, they see America this way.

02:02:49.440 They see racial harmony through the promotion of racial discord and discrimination. 0.79

02:02:57.300 If we don't come together, those of us that know better and believe better and start working together and start modeling for the rest of America.

02:03:08.440 No, no, no, here's what America is and here's how we do it.

02:03:12.880 Here's how we keep that arc of fairness and growth and freedom going.

02:03:20.880 And so I'm so glad and get Glenn and I didn't talk about it.

02:03:24.720 Next thing I know, I get home and it's like, hey, can you come back and fill in for Glenn Beck?

02:03:29.220 Glenn really enjoyed having you on blah, blah.

02:03:31.900 And so I'm so thankful that clearly the same energy that I felt Glenn felt, and I'm so thankful of that.

02:03:41.240 And I just want those of you that have been sitting out there feeling like hope has gone away and it hasn't.

02:03:50.740 It's in you.

02:03:53.040 The things that we believe in, they don't go away.

02:03:56.780 Elections don't take away hope.

02:03:59.400 Slogans on NFL stadiums, NBA arenas, celebrities.

02:04:10.400 Black Lives Matter, they don't take away hope.

02:04:14.540 They can't.

02:04:15.260 They're not a bigger supplier of hope.

02:04:18.440 They're not kryptonite to God.

02:04:21.880 They are just not.

02:04:22.960 We have the power to change this country and put it back on course.

02:04:30.640 We can do that by coming together and working together and modeling the behavior that makes America great.

02:04:37.900 We'll be back tomorrow, and I'm going to invite you into the discussion tomorrow for sure.

02:04:45.540 Stu, Uncle Jimmy, thank you.

02:04:48.780 I'll see you tomorrow.

02:04:51.900 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
