00:00:00.000 have a good weekend uh big nikki waley uh nikki haley uh podcast this weekend we had to talk
00:00:06.800 about that kidding me but i was going to tell you i think you did a show last night with an audience
00:00:10.180 yeah and they had a lot of questions and it was interesting where they went with those questions
00:00:14.360 you know a lot of stuff on ukraine but not as much on the the bigger picture of civil society 2.0
00:00:21.420 and all that i wonder if we could just do some of that on the radio today like i think we should
00:00:25.020 you know what's it for questions what was amazing and this we just went on because we were having a
00:00:30.420 great conversation so we just went on after the show and we were just talking and uh i said so how
00:00:35.500 many people believe that there's going to be an honest hearing in the senate now the republicans
00:00:43.680 are in charge that they're going to honestly look into all these things not one hand went up not one
00:00:53.240 it was incredible incredible so we'll we'll talk about that and also what's happening in iran today next
00:01:02.620 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment
00:01:22.620 hello america welcome to the program it's friday we're glad you're here the world seems to be on
00:01:34.880 fire today uh there are protests big protests uh that are happening all over the world uh the biggest
00:01:41.100 of which that we should be concerned with are the ones that are happening in iraq right now uh what's
00:01:47.860 happening in iraq is as big and if not bigger we don't know for sure but we know it's as big could
00:01:56.260 be bigger than the riots that happened when barack obama was completely silent and they just put all
00:02:03.460 those people in jail there were millions on the street there are millions on the street uh now what's
00:02:08.960 happening in in iran could be game changing uh not just for the people of iran but also the people
00:02:18.880 in hong kong and those who are kind of watching things and following suit in france this is fun
00:02:27.380 you know i like it when those when they have those little revolutionary uh moments they're very very
00:02:33.780 exciting quote from spooky dude well he's very excited this morning and we get there in one minute

00:04:19.000 there was a shooting today in the naval air station in pensacola one person is uh dead i should say two
00:04:31.880 people are dead the shooter is uh dead as well let me take you quickly to uh what's happening overseas
00:04:40.140 in iran after the obama administration inked the iranian deal the iranians loved him loved him
00:04:49.660 they were exporting 3.2 million barrels of oil a day under obama now this is uh this is how they make
00:05:00.460 their money they don't have they're not they're not exporting anything other than oil so 3.2 million
00:05:06.640 barrels a day after trump's maximum pressure campaign the number is now 300,000 barrels
00:05:14.680 so they don't have any income coming in the real is in a free fall during the obama administration it
00:05:24.480 was 30,000 reals to one u.s dollar today it's 130,000 to a dollar which makes food and basic
00:05:36.120 necessities almost unaffordable unaffordable for most people if not unaffordable their inflation rate
00:05:43.140 right now is at 70 percent so imagine you go into the store today and in eight months that gallon of
00:05:52.540 milk is 70 percent more expensive and by the way jobs have dried up you haven't gotten a raise the dollar
00:06:02.100 is in a free fall yet you still have to eat this is why the people are in the streets they've been in
00:06:10.940 the streets before in 2008 and i think they would have toppled that regime had it not been for the
00:06:18.660 obama administration being so quiet the regime now is grasping at straws they are the things that they
00:06:25.500 are doing are obscene uh they have wide-scale protests in over a hundred cities all over the
00:06:35.500 country it may be the largest protest since the 1979 uprising and revolution over set now this is in
00:06:46.540 iran remember with the secret police and everything else over 730 banks have been burned to the ground
00:06:54.520 140 government buildings have been destroyed 50 police bases have been attacked this is all being done
00:07:04.340 now and being curtailed by the irgc it's dispatched its paramilitary force to deal with everything
00:07:11.380 um the u.s state department claims yesterday that over a thousand protesters have been murdered
00:07:21.200 over 7 000 have been jailed the irgc has been killing people in the streets and what they'll do is
00:07:31.740 they'll go into these smaller towns and these smaller protesters and they will come in with machine guns
00:07:37.620 and they'll just mow everybody down and then they'll stay there until the families come
00:07:44.200 to claim the dead and they're like oh is this your husband yes okay we count four holes in him
00:07:54.920 so we have to charge you for the four bullets that's that's the kind of religious kindness
00:08:02.780 the people in the streets are feeling today now why this is different is for the first time we're
00:08:10.700 seeing not the clerics but we're seeing the religious people on the streets of of iran also
00:08:17.600 joining the protests so this is widespread and what they want is an end to the regime what they're
00:08:23.760 chanting is no more islamic rule they want to be free from the revolutionaries
00:08:31.340 that some of these people now who are older may have been students in 1979 and fought for that
00:08:40.160 revolution now they see what this has what has become of that that promise of freedom and 40 years
00:08:49.660 later they're back into the streets and they may topple it now here's what we're doing trump is
00:08:56.600 considering doubling our presence in the middle east now what that means is
00:09:01.700 well honestly what that means is exactly exactly what i hoped it meant 14 000 troops really is nothing
00:09:13.340 i mean you're not going in and doing anything with 14 000 troops so we have dozens or more naval
00:09:21.580 ships on the way and they're going to be placed there in the area but again that's not enough to
00:09:27.380 actually do anything but it is enough to inspire the people that america has their back that america
00:09:35.500 sees them hears them and they're not alone this is the way we broke the back of the soviet union in the
00:09:43.100 cold war we crippled them financially and then we helped them we supported them ronald reagan
00:09:51.500 gave speech after speech after speech praising the people who were in the uprising in poland and
00:09:59.300 all throughout the iron curtain and once that thing broke you had it you know the state department
00:10:08.100 they're always wrong the state department told ron reagan do not say mr gorbachev tear down this wall
00:10:14.700 the strongest thing this president can do right now he sent 14 000 troops over um just as a show of
00:10:22.760 of not even force but a show of uh solidarity the strongest thing he can do is give a great speech
00:10:31.040 directed exactly to the iranian people it will get to them i was talking to my
00:10:39.040 i was talking to my daughter the other day and um we were working on well she called her dad because
00:10:48.140 she's like dad i cannot get the swag over the fireplace to look right could you help me i want
00:10:54.820 to i want to bring some some pine cones on it and some maybe some ornaments and i said sure honey and
00:11:01.500 she said could you bring your floral scissors and i said of course i have my floral scissors i'll bring
00:11:07.700 them so anyway i'm doing manly stuff there at the fireplace you know with my floral scissors and i'm
00:11:14.800 helping her and she said are you watching what's happening in iran this is not the conversation i
00:11:22.540 expected to have with you honey she said i have a friend who whose family left in 1979 and she said
00:11:30.880 um i think it was their uncle had just been killed one of these that was just shot in the streets
00:11:40.060 and they couldn't say anything over the phone other than he's really ill um and yeah they'll they'll uh
00:11:51.500 they're going to uh visit him now but it was telegraphed in such a way that they knew he was dead
00:11:58.940 but then when they had the funeral over and this family did not go back because they're killing
00:12:04.960 people um but when they had the funeral the immediate family had to have it in secret you couldn't you
00:12:13.240 couldn't they it was a rebel so you had to have it in secret this is the kind of stuff that we're
00:12:20.480 dealing with uh and if iran falls not only will that be a good thing for the middle east
00:12:28.860 because the iranian people are not um like the iraqis they they were used to a society with freedom
00:12:38.300 and education they're very very they're very well educated and they're very pro-west they get our
00:12:46.380 kind of society they could actually be a real stabilizing piece uh of the puzzle over in the
00:12:53.220 middle east unfortunately if they do fall it will send ripples to people who are protesting for
00:13:00.940 instance in france i don't know if you know this but revolutions in france don't usually work out well
00:13:06.380 and it will send a strong message to the people in hong kong and as bad as the iranians are
00:13:15.620 i don't think there is uh i don't think there is bold in the end as the chinese are the chinese are
00:13:25.180 building concentration camps and they know the world knows and they and they know the world's not
00:13:31.300 going to do anything about it right and then they have the power to enforce that and and make it
00:13:36.740 difficult where iran is is a totally different story there there are they are making it difficult
00:13:42.140 they shut down all internet so the only way that we're getting any of this information is apparently
00:13:48.320 they turned it on for a while and we created i don't even know we created some sort of um tight
00:13:57.300 little internet tunnel that can get video out and so people are sending it or bringing it to the embassy
00:14:06.520 i think i think this is how it works um somehow or another they're getting this information
00:14:11.940 to our embassy and it's coming out of a very narrow pipeline uh to the united states from our
00:14:18.200 embassy i think so oh my gosh can you imagine being i mean you you remember what happened in 1979
00:14:24.260 yeah 78 have you seen argo it was uh it was yeah i mean uh that was a that do we have it we don't
00:14:32.480 think we have an embassy can't be an embassy can't be an embassy right i mean they can't it certainly
00:14:36.360 can't be something officially they're doing uh that would be terrified the thing would probably be in
00:14:40.620 on fire in 10 minutes you know this is the thing though you look at this that this is happening
00:14:45.580 all jason he'll he'll be able to explain how this is coming out let's get this right all over the
00:14:49.560 world and you look at uh the because you know ukraine is an example of this happening we've seen these
00:14:57.320 types of things happen in the in the in in ukraine and it plays exactly into the the third of your
00:15:04.720 three your trilogy of specials that you've been doing on the story it's like lord of the rings yeah
00:15:08.800 the director's cut is five hours long but it's you know that that third one was so in depth beyond
00:15:17.360 kind of the headlines of the day with the impeachment and joe biden and those sorts of things
00:15:21.600 and it it shows that this stuff is happening all over the world and the plan is to train people to
00:15:28.220 make it happen all over the world so when you see these things they don't feel like coincidences
00:15:31.480 right and it's and for instance i don't have a problem with uh helping revolutionaries in china
00:15:43.180 uh in in iran uh in places where there is true oppression and there is support on the streets
00:15:55.220 uh for a a western style understanding of freedom i have no problem if we are carefully doing those
00:16:05.820 things but that's not what we're doing in our u.s state department and that to me is what this
00:16:11.060 impeachment is really all about and i want to go there here in in just one minute stand by
00:16:16.760 if you're looking for the perfect handgun what's you know what is the best it you know you have to
00:16:24.100 use it for self-defense as well as the gun range what is going to give you the best most accurate
00:16:29.940 shot some big news i am a proud member of the uscca the united states concealed carry association and
00:16:37.760 right now the uscca is given 19 of my listeners 1 000 each to buy the gun of their dreams 19 can take
00:16:47.980 home a gun a thousand dollars caesar do you have your gun on you can you unload it and bring it in
00:16:54.580 for a second uh it's he's but he bought the gun that i bought and it's unbelievable it's the best
00:17:02.420 ever imagine how many people on the left are like they have a gun there's a gun going call the police
00:17:09.720 there's a gun you know that is foreign to a lot of people yeah anyway um the um what i want you to
00:17:17.720 do is text the word beck to the number 87222 you can get the official rules and lock in your 19 chances
00:17:25.460 to win a thousand bucks uh to buy the gun of your choice there's some great ones to choose from it
00:17:31.780 ends the 31st not a lot of time to waste make sure you do it now 87222 the official rules and get
00:17:37.800 registered text the word beck 87222 87222 text the word beck we break for 10 seconds station id
00:17:45.420 all right so jason help me out i screwed this all up how did the how did the how did the pipeline of
00:18:06.200 information how are we getting this out this is state department yes doing this yeah so the uh
00:18:12.740 iran cut the internet so nothing no information was getting out iran reinstated the internet like on a
00:18:18.520 limited basis they still it's still massively you know guarded and firewalled so you can't get on
00:18:24.060 twitter and all that stuff but the state department um through an app called telegram which allows
00:18:29.300 encrypted communications that's how most people you know communicate in these regimes china places like
00:18:33.400 them um they set up a telegram channel and the last number that i saw the state department had
00:18:38.780 got over 30 000 videos and photographs from some of these riots that's really the only way we're
00:18:43.300 getting information out from what's going on if you shut down the in the internet how are you
00:18:47.680 getting on an app so there's there's a few different ways and i've actually witnessed this
00:18:53.560 in person on the border of iraq but a lot of them will use iraqi sim cards when they're in country
00:18:59.280 um and this is a trick you can do in a lot of these places if you're a journalist or if you're
00:19:03.140 want to do work there um but a lot of them use iraqi sim cards a lot of them will use iranian sim
00:19:08.200 cards but they'll use vpns uh to make it appear that they're accessing these places from like sweden
00:19:13.120 or something like that that's why you got to get a vpn you just got to if you're not using a vpn
00:19:17.660 and you're just wrong but wow wow i'm serious judge dread thanks for being on the program
00:19:26.780 uh the um how likely is i don't think it's likely at all we do anything i think this is this is this
00:19:35.560 is trump's best reagan you know what i mean yeah this is where a strong president with a twitchy eye
00:19:45.100 who understands freedom uh it can speak and it can change everything on the ground at this point
00:19:53.180 you're exactly right at this point we know the trump doctrine we know it he'll he'll he'll threaten
00:19:58.160 he'll be very bombastic you know towards the other regime he'll then if that doesn't work he'll deploy
00:20:03.460 military forces not in large numbers like kind of what we saw in north korea um he faked a lot of
00:20:08.040 people out there we thought they were we were going to war um then after all that happens and there's
00:20:12.880 no movement then he'll draw back the forces and slap on the sanctions what this does is this does
00:20:19.120 something that the obama administration had a perfect opportunity to do back in 2009 on scale
00:20:23.480 this is very very similar to to what we saw then in terms of violence this is nothing like that this
00:20:28.140 is like the 1979 revolution that brought them down and and gave the clerical regime the country
00:20:32.400 but if obama would have done what trump is considering doing now that small gesture might have
00:20:37.420 been enough to say hey to the american people to the iranian people we stand with you we support
00:20:42.280 what you're doing you know you've got a friend in me like type thing um that's all you can expect
00:20:47.660 from this but if this ever if you ever wake up and turn on twitter and you see or the news and you
00:20:52.480 see four aircraft carriers are now in the persian gulf that means we're going to war or a hundred
00:20:56.260 thousand thousand troops uh buckle up because we're invading but we're not going to see that's not
00:21:02.040 gonna i mean and he you know trump has been pretty consistent his entire public life at opposing
00:21:09.200 generally international conflict right like he talks very tough but i mean you look at his action
00:21:15.460 since he's been president he's done sanctions he's he's harsh words you know confrontations when it
00:21:22.160 comes to uh language and things like that but not he does not that's the way you win most times yeah
00:21:27.660 he does not want he does not want to invade with a hundred he does not want his legacy to be an
00:21:31.520 iranian war right don't have to don't have to consider that over 50 police stations have been
00:21:37.660 attacked over what was it 500 banks have been burned out or 700 or something like that they're
00:21:43.520 doing that for you like they're not not for you not for us they're doing it for them it's way time
00:21:48.560 they took their country back they're going to do it on their own it's just a matter of time and
00:21:52.380 little things like sanctions did you go through the economic numbers a few minutes ago yeah that's going to
00:21:56.940 take its toll we're at where they were in 2009 we probably would have had a completely different
00:22:01.320 middle east if not for that disastrous iranian deal could think i remember watching that and
00:22:06.180 thinking where's the president where's the president where's the united states standing up for these
00:22:10.620 people and you know they were begging it was it was like hong kong begging america to stand up
00:22:17.280 and the white house didn't and they gave the regime more money yeah they helped them yeah really
00:22:23.080 really really really bad this time things may change and that may have ramifications all around
00:22:30.460 the world sweeping in china and everywhere freedom actually is on the march uh in some places how it
00:22:39.200 wins i don't know this is the glenbeck program all right you did omaha steaks the best steak
00:22:48.140 you've ever had so tender you can cut it with a fork and i mean that it is when you have one of their
00:22:54.400 fillets you cut it with a fork i don't know these these cows must be born and then just like
00:23:01.680 magleved uh all around to be able to eat and so i don't know how because the muscle in this
00:23:09.800 and these steaks is so unbelievably tender it's so good omahasteaks.com enter the promo code back

00:24:34.580 more than others uh stew is here and then there's of course pat hello pat hello glen
00:24:39.900 how are you i'm good yeah are you i'm good yeah good yeah really good so uh you know i know you like
00:24:48.500 to mock people no i do not really no i do not okay all right uh because i i don't enjoy mocking
00:24:57.280 that would be wrong of me right but you seem like you're in a good mood i am and i know you're going
00:25:01.900 to mock uh joe biden no i just well i'm gonna point out some things about joe okay all right maybe
00:25:10.200 seem i don't know if i could even do it all right go ahead now joe had a little incident yesterday
00:25:18.360 as you know with uh with a voter in iowa and uh if you're watching we explain this if you're watching
00:25:27.740 the blaze uh you might uh you might understand but anyway uh so uh so so pat joe biden yesterday
00:25:38.920 did one of the most incredible things i've i've ever seen i've never seen this before right quite
00:25:46.320 honestly and and this was not to a not to a conservative this is to somebody who's considering
00:25:51.720 i'd vote he i think he said later i will vote for joe biden if he's the guy because i'm not
00:25:58.560 gonna vote for donald trump so i'll vote for for joe biden but i'm really considering elizabeth warren
00:26:04.400 yeah he sounds like a pretty hardcore liberal yeah right um but here's the exchange between him
00:26:10.360 because how dare you ask joe a tough question look at this question how much you'll answer
00:26:15.600 we all know trump uh has been messing around in ukraine over there holding their foreign aid for
00:26:27.660 with him with him to come up saying he's going to investigate you we don't know what about that
00:26:32.620 but you put on the other hand send your son over there get a job and work for a gas company
00:26:46.460 that he had no experience or nothing wow in order to get access to the public for the president
00:26:55.960 you're you're selling access to the president just like you're a damn liar man that's not true man
00:27:03.700 no one has ever said that no one everybody says that the state department even said that
00:27:09.700 by the way that's why i'm not sedentary i don't i get up and oh boy let them go let them go look the
00:27:18.260 reason i'm running is because i've been around a long time and i know more than most people know
00:27:22.220 and i can get things done that's why i'm running and you want to check my shape line let's do push
00:27:26.840 push-ups together man let's do let's run let's do whatever you want to do let's take a nice
00:27:30.800 push-ups exercise good yay no one has said my son has done anything wrong and i did not on any
00:27:40.680 occasion and no one has ever said it not once you said i set up my son to work in an oil company
00:27:49.300 you know what you said get your words straight jack wow you don't hear that on msnbc you did not
00:27:59.980 hear that at all what you heard look okay i'm not going to get in an argument with you man
00:28:04.100 well yeah you do but uh but look fat look here's the deal look fat look here's the deal
00:28:11.000 that's unbelievable this is okay stop for a second this is really truly unbelievable it is he
00:28:22.720 he he obviously is judging the man on his fatness from the get-go yeah because why would you challenge
00:28:30.920 him to go let's go run let's go do push-ups first of all he says i'm not sedentary with the
00:28:36.100 implication like you obviously are because you're a big fat pig because there's nothing that set him
00:28:40.080 up to say this nothing no nothing nothing to say anything about sedentary you obviously you watch
00:28:45.720 a lot of television because you're sedentary i'm not sedentary like you are uh then he then he says
00:28:51.300 i know more than most people then he tells him he's more intelligent than he is then he says uh
00:28:58.220 and he challenges him to the push-ups and which is out of blue out of the blue he's not challenging
00:29:03.780 him and saying you know if you would have said you know and look you've had strokes yeah i'm not
00:29:09.500 sure you're you're an older gentleman then he could have done like jack palance and you know
00:29:15.280 remember when jack palance came out and he did the push-ups yeah on stage right because he it was a sign
00:29:20.160 that he's still virile and young and and even though he's 80 that's that you could understand him
00:29:27.140 saying hey well let's do push-ups let's you know let's go for a run okay that's totally cool he didn't
00:29:33.140 challenge that not at all he's only his first response is hey fatty how about are we doing push-ups
00:29:40.600 and at the end he says look fat look yeah is he going for fatty or fatso looks like it yeah
00:29:47.000 fatty fat fat fatty fat fat fatty fat fat fat fat yeah so you're fat yeah something like that fat head
00:29:52.560 fat man what's going on hey fat man if that was donald trump and i don't think donald trump's
00:30:00.460 ever been that rude to uh okay well yes yes he has i mean we have to pull you back into reality
00:30:10.340 you were drifting outside of the ozo and then you were you were starting to get out into outer space
00:30:16.800 it's very cold and dark now i'm flying back like uh uh like uh what's-her-face did in star wars
00:30:23.920 remember that uh yeah princess leia yeah princess leia did oh that was so bad her die man i know
00:30:29.620 she did die that's the worst part she's actually i know i know just stop it she had a perfect ending
00:30:34.980 anyway go ahead anyway because if it were trump it would lead every newscast he would be the worst
00:30:43.420 person ever born today if he you know and he was when he when he when he imitated the handicapped
00:30:50.660 person remember how that went for him yeah yeah yeah i mean i thought it was horrible i did too
00:30:55.200 new york times has a whole list of the 598 people trump has insulted and what they've insulted am i
00:30:59.760 on that yeah you are you want to hear them no glenn beck his endorsement means nothing he's crying
00:31:05.460 he's dumb as a rock he's failing he's lost all creditability he's irrelevant he's a wacko he's sad
00:31:10.420 he's failing crying lost soul i don't very dumb and failing i has zero credibility i don't
00:31:16.720 irrelevant mental basket case okay viewers and ratings are way down the answer is no
00:31:23.260 wacky a real nut job and always seems to be crying thank you thank you thank you thank you
00:31:30.100 you know what we've asked the new york times with good journalism there thank you for that
00:31:34.200 so is that an excuse for this or no no this has been a long uh it's one of my favorite pages
00:31:41.060 bookmarked yeah uh but this is something you've been trying to squeeze in is what you're saying
00:31:46.640 just every day right and is that a fat joke
00:31:49.840 i mean this is a weird moment though from a politician this is not donald trump who made
00:31:56.540 his career out of insulting people and telling them they're fired right this is this is a this
00:32:00.780 is a guy who is supposed to be a politician and glenn over and over and over again you see this
00:32:07.680 that whenever his son is brought up almost in any context oh my gosh he is incredibly defensive
00:32:14.840 yeah incensed okay okay all right and may i play devil's advocate here okay yeah and i am not excusing
00:32:20.960 what he did i think he's corrupt i think the whole family is corrupt on this uh and it goes way beyond
00:32:27.300 ukraine and we have the we have the cable transfer verification of 160 million dollars going to hunter
00:32:39.580 biden on something domestic so i'm not excusing him here's what here's what i said to the audience
00:32:46.780 uh last night when we were talking about the impeachment um what i'm afraid is joe biden's son
00:32:55.760 and i say this with respect uh and and empathy because i've been in i'm in a family that has
00:33:05.300 depression and has um uh suicide as a as a given in my family that two suicides in my immediate family
00:33:16.540 so i get it hunter biden is a very unstable individual like terribly very unstable
00:33:25.500 like one of the most unstable people i think i think makes charlie sheen look like he could say
00:33:33.100 dude get your act together okay it's bad and so as a dad i would be defensive as well
00:33:41.840 you know leave my son alone because i think joe biden is probably in his own head
00:33:50.200 has probably helped his son do these deals because dude get your life together i'll i'll i'll help you
00:33:58.320 look you're gonna you know he's trying to do the right thing i think for his son by doing all the
00:34:05.760 wrong things for his son yeah i i i have some sympathy with that position because i was thinking
00:34:11.780 about this we've done a lot on hunter biden's private life just talking about it and going through
00:34:16.740 it's an incredible crazy journey think for a second if one of your kids was going through that
00:34:21.560 yeah right like and you've already just you just lost a you just lost a son or a brother a wife
00:34:26.800 you've lost a you just lost a a son i mean it's a crazy this is a guy who found out apparently from
00:34:33.640 media reports that hunter was dating his other son's widow that's how he found out about it not from
00:34:40.160 hunter um so this is like this has been a total disaster it's probably consumed his whole life
00:34:46.600 surely in his mind if he ran in 2016 he'd currently be president all of this is revolving around these
00:34:52.440 situations and every time someone brings it up he has the anger of a devastated father i really think
00:34:59.580 that's part of this i i do too or a very defensive politician or a very defensive politician but i think
00:35:04.780 he does both yeah and he doesn't react that way about other attack lines it just seems to be hunter
00:35:09.700 and i would say too like he's because you pointed this out going he's he in his own mind he's being
00:35:15.240 a good dad like i think in the same way laurie laughlin in her own mind is being a good mom yes right
00:35:19.900 she's saying like i'm doing whatever i can to get my little girl into college correct you know what i
00:35:23.140 mean and so this is the same thing i think and it's and it's worse because you know the trouble your
00:35:28.840 son has had yeah and you're trying to save your son right and so he that does not excuse one percent
00:35:37.500 of his behavior but i think it does explain some of it he he really he really does seem like his
00:35:44.740 family life has been such a disaster for so long that this stuff really gets to him you know they say
00:35:51.460 this about trump all the time like oh mention he doesn't make he doesn't really have 10 billion
00:35:54.840 dollars you really get under his skin and they think you can kind of climb under his skin
00:35:58.040 this is every piece of this hunter thing gets under his skin every piece of of of this gets
00:36:04.120 under biden's skin too i mean it goes to the core you can see what a debate is going to be like
00:36:09.280 between these two guys oh my god i mean it is going to be trump might say hunter 65 times in the first
00:36:15.240 10 minutes it's going to be a muhammad ali frazier fight i mean this is this is going to be a blood
00:36:20.960 sport between those two and more and more it looks like it's going to be the two of them but
00:36:25.720 after a moment like that i mean that's a campaign sinker in a previous election for a republican it
00:36:32.520 would be to call out the media would be all over him but the media oh my gosh the fat shaming this
00:36:37.600 where's the fat shaming right nobody cares about that i will tell you this joe biden i am very you
00:36:42.800 know let me take a quick break and then i'll come back because there's one concern about this
00:36:46.180 impeachment that i have that i think is real and then i've never heard anybody talk about it we'll do
00:36:50.500 that in one minute we could do that but i mean why would we care from a mental basket case like you
00:36:54.380 i mean you're dumb as a rock i keep you employed you always seem to be crying always
00:36:59.880 all right this holiday season uh make sure you give the gift that will bring you and your family

00:39:17.000 i don't hate whiskey or rum this would be really really good rum this would be really good i kind of
00:39:21.820 like it i'm not a coke fan either i like that that's really good you are the only person that i will
00:39:27.040 give a pass to on that and i don't know why i think anybody who just likes pepsi and does not like
00:39:32.320 coke i i think you're some sort of a spy a communist un-american i don't know what it is
00:39:37.780 wow wow that's hurtful you you know you would like this because it's i think so yeah it doesn't have
00:39:42.960 the cut of a regular coke right and maybe that's why i like it yeah it's got a nice cinnamon aftertaste
00:39:48.140 i yeah and it yeah it does have cinnamon i think i mean excuse me you know let me may i speak as a
00:39:55.080 professional on alcoholism yes rum imagine this with rum oh my god that would be this is an
00:40:01.140 incredible mixer incredible look for the holiday season it's a limited edition you're at a holiday
00:40:06.000 party i would definitely recommend picking some of this up for mixers because it's that's actually
00:40:10.360 like i hate cherry coke i hate vanilla coke i hate all of those i do too it's awful but you like this
00:40:15.840 one i do wow that's good i mean i wouldn't i wouldn't buy it you know it's not like i'm gonna
00:40:21.100 you wouldn't because i think i would yeah because it tastes it has the i don't know it has that
00:40:26.540 i don't know sugar whatever aftertaste that pepsi has for me it's just that softer edge yeah it has a
00:40:35.040 nice strong cinnamon taste though you can you can taste it i like it when it's in my mouth and and i
00:40:39.040 just that's that's a good place to like it i don't know what about when you pour it in your ear
00:40:44.060 shut up no shut up what are you what is it you're wearing today i'm wearing it's ascot day here at

00:41:24.960 common with bold ascot wearers he may be that but he's certainly at least not dumb as a rock

00:43:03.620 really i'm just saying i'm just thinking it out loud a bit
00:43:11.180 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment you know the one thing oh by the way hello america
00:43:26.480 it's friday yes the one thing people you know used to say about bill o'reilly and i i know it's tough to
00:43:34.640 narrow it down to just one thing but one thing they used to say about bill o'reilly is he's so tough
00:43:39.100 he's almost a bully sometimes oh my gosh he looks like mother theresa compared to how joe biden treated
00:43:48.920 an audience member and somebody who is a liberal and said he would end up voting for biden if he was
00:43:56.400 the candidate i've never seen anything quite like this yes i've seen it from donald trump but not from
00:44:05.460 joe biden or from the left joe biden was fat shaming oh my gosh i can't wait to hear what's coming
00:44:13.820 from bill o'reilly in one minute this is the glenbeck program

00:44:41.980 relatives and i have threatened just to call them on air and just say hey do you like glenbeck or hate
00:44:50.000 glenbeck oh i hate that guy hey it's glenbeck guess who's your who you're related to

00:45:38.680 have it under the christmas tree it's 23 23andme.com slash back all right all right mr bill o'reilly
00:45:48.120 hey that's sick freak welcome to the program bill first of all are you guys intoxicated or what
00:45:54.580 we're working on it we are working yeah we are working on it yeah it's nine o'clock what at 10
00:46:00.100 after nine central time what's the matter with you people yeah i know we drink before nine yeah yeah
00:46:04.740 only alcoholics drink before nine bill i mean unless they're just going still from the night before
00:46:11.880 yeah then it's okay which we were usually doing but anyway so bill yo did you see the video of joe
00:46:18.380 biden just eviscerating this guy uh in uh in one of his uh you know no malarkey stops yeah yeah did you
00:46:28.260 see what are your thoughts you know you know i don't see it the same way that everybody else sees it
00:46:35.040 because i know that biden loves his son and i know that he lost the other son beau yep and his emotions
00:46:47.960 are overriding everything now yes i don't think it's so much that he's thinking at all i think he's
00:46:56.600 just reacting so um you know he's running for president does he really have his heart in it
00:47:04.200 i'm i'm no no i'm not a mind reader but he's certainly not campaigning effectively he's not and
00:47:11.380 nobody can argue with that so that's number one and number two he's got this kid who every time he
00:47:19.040 turns around is embarrassing him and his family and he well at least at least from people who are over
00:47:26.000 90 that understand the term malarkey right i know that's i mean that is that's something that
00:47:32.540 brilliant marketing team oh my god yeah we're gonna be drinking sarsaparilla with joe and talking no
00:47:39.100 malarkey i'll tell you that right now let's get a little sarsaparilla over here for joe and his uh
00:47:43.760 crazy okay so we but the point is that he's running for president that's holly the terror dog by the way
00:47:51.220 um he's running for president and he's not prepared for this see that's the story it's not
00:47:59.080 belashing out at the chubby guy all right the chubby guy was doing this on purpose chubby guy wanted to
00:48:05.480 embarrass him chubby guy could say oh i'm a democrat i'm gonna vote for him anyway bull this is set up
00:48:11.980 chubby guy saw his opportunity went in i'm gonna i'm gonna do this i'm gonna get attention for myself
00:48:17.960 but what does it say about joe biden and his his understanding of just even just the power of
00:48:26.840 being a man when the first thing out of his mouth was uh well you're sedentary and you want to
00:48:34.480 challenge to push-ups i mean that's like but that's what i'm talking about the guy it doesn't have
00:48:40.580 control over the process he he's not rational on a campaign trail and and that's the story
00:48:48.880 so what's going to happen what's going to happen because you know the one way to get under donald
00:48:54.400 trump's skin and i think uh bloomberg is probably in the only position to really really do this of
00:49:01.700 standing on stage uh with uh donald trump and going you know donald i mean you say you're a billionaire
00:49:07.080 but please uh you know that's never going to happen so you're you're basically okay weaving a
00:49:12.820 fantasy okay but you know that god right but you know that's what uh would get under his skin
00:49:19.460 no but biden would no no no no no okay no because i know trump better than anybody all right trump
00:49:28.880 when he well maybe his children but i'm telling you i i know the guy really well and
00:49:36.640 he doesn't care what you say about him he doesn't care what you say about his kids about his father
00:49:44.240 about his mom he doesn't care all right so he's not going to be like biden he's not going to he's
00:49:49.980 not going to do that what he'll do is he'll attack you and yes if the chubby guy did that to trump which
00:49:57.140 would never happen because trump people would never put him on a bus never all right and he would never
00:50:05.940 go to a diner and take q a ever never okay so but if you got trump on a stage a debate stage
00:50:16.440 and you said to him hey you're a corrupt guy who's incompetent and blah blah blah trump doesn't care
00:50:24.240 really what you're saying he would just go in and eviscerate you personally all right and then it would
00:50:31.180 be it would be a mud fight okay so how does trump do that let's say that joe biden is the candidate
00:50:37.400 how does joe biden um knowing how he reacts and knowing that knowing that bill o'reilly and glenn
00:50:45.040 beck have sympathy not for the the dirtiness or anything else but have sympathy as dads for joe biden
00:50:54.500 and you can say look i you know i i give him some room on this one i think that's really out of line
00:51:00.220 but i give him some room how does donald trump even talk about what happened with hunter biden and
00:51:06.500 corruption trump couldn't care less about biden and biden's tragedies no i know that but the american
00:51:15.040 people will no but he did but but trump's not going to calibrate it that way ever he doesn't
00:51:21.680 calibrate gee if i say this what are the american people going to think about me no i never he never
00:51:26.880 does that no i know i i he's going to go there are times that people around him should be thinking
00:51:32.280 those things and probably are thinking to anybody around i know but i'm asking you what is the
00:51:38.560 end result with the american people if he just oh i see you want me to speculate about how they
00:51:45.420 would you are the worst you are the worst how they would react to broad sides against well it's not a
00:51:52.740 hard speculation trump's base would enjoy it all right so there would be a sitcom for them they would
00:52:00.860 they don't care what you say about hunter biden or or biden's family or anything like that and i'm not
00:52:07.980 saying this in a in a cruel way it's just that their rationalization is donald trump's been attacked
00:52:14.500 so badly yes yes so often that whatever donald trump does is justified yeah okay so that's number one
00:52:22.380 the independents and those people the women horrified horrified the men
00:52:29.840 you know the men are voting for hey am i going to keep my job am i going to be able to add more to
00:52:40.700 my 401k that's the men are voting for they don't they're not looking for sensitivity they're not
00:52:46.000 looking for perspective they're looking for performance but women would be you know unaligned
00:52:52.380 women unaligned women appalled um if he goes in and he rips up um joe biden and son yeah okay let's uh

00:55:16.660 with bill o'reilly
00:55:17.300 mr bill o'reilly yes i'm here i'm i'm attentive so let's uh let's get your take on first what
00:55:36.900 happened in the impeachment hearings this week uh with the very non-biased uh open thinkers
00:55:44.620 number one i was watching reruns of mayberry rfd on the me channel right okay so i missed a lot of
00:55:52.080 the live stuff right um because goober is really he's more in tune to my way of thinking yeah i like
00:56:00.280 just plain old mayberry the rfd days you know you know it's kind of when they were stretching but i
00:56:07.320 i get it i get it you're right so i would why would anybody any human being in this country
00:56:14.400 pay attention to this this week why so you you parade in three people that hate trump oh they loathe
00:56:24.640 him um and they sit there and they just dish bad stuff on him and then they have one guy kind of
00:56:33.440 doesn't like him but is actually a thinker and says you know you really don't have enough to impeach
00:56:39.320 him or anyone else so why are we here and why do i want to watch this for what i i don't know i don't
00:56:46.260 learn anything uh do i want to watch corruption in the government on display i'm pretty much convinced
00:56:52.820 that happens every day now don't really need to see it again so you know the cable tv ratings have
00:56:59.320 been pretty good this week there are people who are interested in this i don't know why maybe you
00:57:04.440 can tell me i don't know why no i have no idea why i have no idea why yeah because it's it's it's not
00:57:09.820 gonna lead anywhere i mean he's gonna get acquitted in the senate and by february this is just a bad
00:57:16.540 memory so what does this do to our republic well it's bad for the country in a variety of ways
00:57:23.880 because it just polarizes people even more um it was interesting because in the interview i did with
00:57:30.880 uh president trump on the radio did you hear that back no i didn't i know i but you heard about it
00:57:37.420 oh are you kidding me if that's all we could talk about so in the interview i did with him
00:57:43.040 um it was quite clear that he as president believes he's doing a good job and he believes
00:57:53.920 that this whole impeachment is going to help him get re-elected that's the trump view that i'm going
00:58:00.080 to i'm going to get re-elected and this impeachment thing's helping me because people see it um as
00:58:06.200 crazy land however the other side hates him so much that they don't even consider there might be
00:58:14.820 a backlash they because they live in a bubble all right the trump haters pretty much associate
00:58:21.460 with the trump haters it's like that's it yeah yeah i mean they don't go out of that and then if you
00:58:28.520 don't hate trump they don't have anything to do with you they don't want to talk to you they don't
00:58:32.900 want to give you a ride to the bus station they don't want any any part of you so it's an isol we're
00:58:39.900 becoming is an isolated tribal country which we have never really been before except for the civil war
00:58:47.240 so we're becoming tribes of people who have special interests political interests fanaticism here and
00:58:55.040 there and the media drives that so the tribe watches msnbc the tribe watches fox news channel right
00:59:03.500 and there's no other there's no non-tribe people watching they're they're all of the same mindset
00:59:10.920 so instead of e pluribus unum okay stew tell me what that means um from anyone that's right
00:59:20.300 it's now i can't i don't know the latin word for tribe but i'll just say tribum
00:59:27.440 that's what we are tribal ellis yes and interestingly enough i'm sure you heard that my new killing book
00:59:35.600 is killing crazy horse uh the merciless really yeah oh crazy horse is one of my you got to send this to
00:59:45.000 me crazy horse is one of my favorite characters in american history well you're gonna love this book
00:59:50.440 but anyway i don't want to plug the book now there'll be plenty of time for plugging the book
00:59:53.780 but the maybe not not on this show maybe not well maybe i don't like it then you're not getting a free
01:00:00.660 book then in the native american culture it was all tribes all right so we're going back
01:00:10.180 to the native american culture and the tribes didn't have anything in common with the other
01:00:16.400 so the apaches in arizona didn't have anything in common with the sioux yes up in north dakota and
01:00:24.480 montana okay so this is what we're becoming and and people don't understand it because they don't get
01:00:30.580 any intellectual analysis on in the media at all all i get is rooting i'm rooting for trump to be
01:00:36.420 destroyed or i'm rooting for trump to be president forever okay they don't get this is what is
01:00:43.480 happening in america we're dividing ourselves into tribes that hate each other and that's like what
01:00:50.740 happens in the balkans that's like kosovo and montenegro yeah except we're no except there's no
01:00:57.460 borders here on this one we're all mixed in with each other we're yes but we're becoming isolated
01:01:04.800 from each other yeah even though we live next door to each other or we work in the next cubicle for
01:01:10.080 one another that's right we don't associate we don't talk to emily because emily likes trump
01:01:16.560 correct um and and so this is the destructive nature of what is happening politically in america
01:01:24.640 and nobody now they know on the glenn beck program what it is but i'll tell you i'll submit to you
01:01:30.020 that what i just told you very few people are aware of bill um what is how does the what tell me
01:01:40.720 the mindset if you can of nancy pelosi and those in the democratic party how do they think this is
01:01:49.080 going to end and how do you how do you think it's going to end okay nancy pelosi if you watch her if you
01:01:56.720 watch her body language which is really fascinating and the way she conducts herself when james rosen
01:02:03.560 asked a very legitimate question yesterday oh my gosh it was incredible yeah do you hate
01:02:08.680 donald trump and she went off the wall now that's a legitimate question and nobody should have gone
01:02:16.340 off the wall if you ask it you say no i don't i just believe that he has abused his power and
01:02:22.140 shouldn't be there that's all right you don't go how dare you yeah i mean really i mean she when she
01:02:28.300 said don't you ever use that kind of language with me i mean that was shocking right now there are two
01:02:34.540 things nancy pelosi's not used to be being asked anything that goes against her prevailing wisdom
01:02:42.500 because the press is in the tank so she was caught by surprise by that question and the second thing is
01:02:48.600 that nancy pelosi is a fanatic okay hang on we're gonna let that sit and simmer for a while
01:02:56.700 and then we'll come back with more of mr bill o'reilly from billoreilly.com in just a minute

01:05:06.660 we don't have it cut one
01:05:11.920 okay don't have the audio uh do you have the audio of the the snapping on jake tapper

01:05:25.720 to do so it has nothing to do they should be testifying because they have been asked to testify
01:05:33.860 by congress it isn't a deal it's about a system of checks and balances can we not have any more
01:05:41.660 questions about impeachment can we not have any more questions about impeachment bill o'reilly
01:05:45.940 there was the day that she said we're putting impeachment uh articles together can we not have
01:05:52.680 any more questions about impeachment bill are you there still can you hear me yeah okay i can
01:06:00.080 what are your thoughts there yeah do you get a sense of entitlement uh from mrs pelosi oh yeah
01:06:05.960 maybe that she's not really a regular person if you look at her background very wealthy uh
01:06:15.240 parent father in politics uh maryland rays and whips out to the most liberal district in the country
01:06:22.280 runs around she doesn't want to be asked any difficult questions she just wants to spout propaganda
01:06:28.440 i said before the break that she is a fanatic a fanatic is a person who is incapable of evaluating
01:06:37.960 an opposing point of view not agreeing but even evaluating see well how does the republican
01:06:44.280 uh party think or why do they want certain things forget it forget it it's she's a far left person
01:06:53.240 she has a vision and that's it and if you don't have the vision she's going to try to hurt you well
01:07:00.760 she she was incredible they asked her about do you hate donald trump and she she went off and said
01:07:07.620 you know how dare you don't you ever question me like that again and i thought dare yeah i thought to
01:07:13.600 myself gee wouldn't it be nice if i could have said that after the 10 000th question about how much i hate
01:07:21.700 people i mean you know what it's insane my follow-up to if i had been there my follow-up would have
01:07:28.980 been after she said that if i had been rosen i would have said you know you sound a lot like vladimir
01:07:35.000 putin yeah oh wouldn't that have been interesting yeah it would have been it would have been she does
01:07:42.920 okay and she doesn't want opposing points of view so um let me take you one more place on
01:07:51.620 the uh impeachment yesterday i was with an audience of about 40 50 people here in the studios
01:07:59.760 and i asked them uh what do you think are we at least going to get a fair trial in the senate
01:08:10.080 and actually find out if donald trump is guilty or innocent in a fair way in the senate not a single
01:08:18.860 hand went up not one when i and i expected you know are we actually going to find out what happened
01:08:26.220 you know with this this whole impeachment trial and who's involved and all of that i expected there
01:08:32.340 to be few hands but when i asked are we actually going to find out what's true no one raised their
01:08:40.240 hands on the simple thing of what was the the you know phone call and the actual charges of the
01:08:48.560 articles of impeachment are there are there any basis to that they didn't even think that they
01:08:53.900 would get a fair trial in the senate what do you think and they're smart because the republican
01:08:59.460 senators want to embarrass the democratic party so they're not going to they're not looking for the
01:09:05.940 truth um and from my perspective and i've studied this pretty hard donald trump was uh indiscreet in
01:09:16.480 how he approached uh ukraine but is that a shock to anybody nope okay that's what he is that's what
01:09:24.080 he does he's a stream of consciousness speaker he reacts emotionally he felt that there was corruption
01:09:29.900 in the ukraine on a number of different fronts including joe biden and he asked the president
01:09:34.560 to investigate it that's it okay now the republican party they don't want they've said that time and
01:09:41.620 time again what they want to do uh is bring in hunter biden and joe biden and schiff and embarrass
01:09:48.700 the hell out of them yeah but i think bringing i i honestly think we have spent four years now on
01:09:56.340 impeachment we have spent millions of dollars on investigation and we found out that donald trump
01:10:02.820 really didn't do anything in collusion with russia we found out something we already know that russia
01:10:09.080 is trying to infiltrate our country and disturb our elections they don't care who the winner is quite
01:10:15.660 honestly they just are trying to pit us against each other but they haven't spent any time on looking
01:10:21.300 really into that then as soon as he makes this phone call they rush to impeachment somebody has to be
01:10:28.300 held responsible for the what i think is an abuse of the american pocketbook if not abuse of power
01:10:37.580 well that's never going to happen i mean it's just not going to happen everybody is looking for um
01:10:43.420 an avenue to victory next november and you know it's not just the president it hurts us the republicans
01:10:50.460 got to take back the house yeah i mean if they can control the house in the senate and trump wins
01:10:55.500 but isn't the but isn't the best way isn't the best way to do that to show that through a fair process
01:11:03.320 to show that uh the that adam schiff was cooking the books and and the whistleblower knowledge that
01:11:10.480 will never acknowledge it in a million years no matter what proof comes to the fore monday's big
01:11:17.000 day with the horowitz report i was just going to ask you about that it comes out what do you already
01:11:21.080 already the washington post taking the leaves has nothing uh no big deal no no no no they don't
01:11:27.020 have anything so that's what you're going to get so no matter what they did in the senate the press
01:11:31.420 would spin it like i don't come on so bad no big deal but you know look so wait wait wait what is
01:11:37.260 going to what is going to happen with the horowitz report do you have any inkling on what we're going
01:11:41.680 to find somebody in the justice department and but i hate to use anonymous sources you know that
01:11:46.820 so i can't tell your audience that this is true but this is what the person said to me
01:11:52.800 out of 10 10 being the most helpful to the trump administration and zero being and zero being just
01:12:02.420 neutral or helpful zero being hurtful okay 10 helpful zero hurtful this is an eight it's an eight
01:12:11.840 out of 10 that it will help trump now that's what the guy said to me and i don't know if it's true i
01:12:18.700 had no idea if he's spinning he's obviously in the administration so what would that for what it's
01:12:23.820 what would those things be that are in that report if horowitz who is not elliot ness all right he's not
01:12:34.160 a crusader for justice even though he's the inspector general of the justice department he is a
01:12:39.920 bureaucrat cya village people guy okay if he says i'm referring to durham who is the criminal
01:12:52.520 investigator these names that he might want to consider indicting home run for trump impeachment
01:13:01.480 goes off the rails the american people are in an uproar cable news ratings go through the roof
01:13:07.160 if that is the case if he's mealy-mouthed and says well one guy really abuses power but the others
01:13:16.760 really didn't and i don't know i can't really tell then it's a nothing it's a nothing right so that'll
01:13:24.960 be out on monday and we'll have plenty to talk about next week on it um but the overarch here is this
01:13:30.940 the nothing really matters except the election next november because the american people have a
01:13:38.340 stark decision to make stark do you want an imperfect man donald trump and and imperfect is a charitable
01:13:47.980 word if you read the united states of trump i lay the man out for you okay you want an imperfect man
01:13:55.380 who's actually helping the country's policies are helping the country and they are okay or do you want
01:14:02.240 a progressive left that's going to change every fundamental thing that we have everything
01:14:09.740 what do you want and that's the vote and it's not just for president i said it's the house the senate
01:14:17.100 because whoever gets power if the republican party gets power in the both houses and the presidency next
01:14:23.680 november the far left progressive movement is dead finished in the history of this country at least
01:14:31.440 for the foreseeable future if the opposite happens we enter into an age of anarchy where all of our
01:14:39.540 traditions are upended where everything changes where the government becomes so powerful that the state
01:14:48.020 and the local officials have nothing to say everything will be run out of washington from a progressive
01:14:55.340 perspective that is what nancy pelosi adam shift all of these people want they want more power to tell you
01:15:03.960 what to do and how to live on every issue this is what is at stake why do you say that the progressive
01:15:12.000 era if you will or the progressive movement towards that will be gone for the foreseeable future because
01:15:19.140 trump trump and mccarthy and graham will come in with a vengeance of vengeance and they will attack
01:15:30.920 every progressive thing or or issue and destroy it what makes you say that because they're mad
01:15:41.060 particularly the president now i'm going to tell your audience something that i haven't really made
01:15:46.480 public but i had dinner with trump last week in the residence with him with kim with him oh okay
01:15:57.660 i thought of kim jong-il you should have led he was invited okay all right yeah all right okay all right
01:16:03.560 so and and i thought trump was gonna be a little on edge he was not and it was like old times because i've
01:16:09.660 known him for 30 years and socialized with him many times but he's angry and when i i don't blame him
01:16:18.800 i'm because i'm angry at what happened to me and and all of this i mean he see crap you know and i'm sure
01:16:25.700 i'm sure you're angry and when trump with no restraints remember there's a man with no restraints
01:16:32.640 okay that gets him in trouble all the time if he gets control of congress for those four years
01:16:39.920 you don't want to be a progressive and he'll go into california that's where he's going to make his

01:20:17.060 good
01:20:19.540 so
01:20:25.480 I have something truly amazing that I never thought I would hear said about Disney.
01:20:44.040 Disney does not have Baby Yoda for sale for Christmas.
01:20:48.860 That is amazing, considering it's everywhere on the internet.
01:20:51.920 It is, and it's the cutest thing they've done since probably Steamboat Willie.
01:20:58.100 I mean, it's a great, great, iconic character.
01:21:02.860 And this is from the Disney Plus series, The Mandalorian, right?
01:21:05.060 Yes, yes.
01:21:06.020 Is it a big role in the show?
01:21:09.320 Oh, yeah, it's about that.
01:21:11.520 Intentionally, intentionally they didn't do it.
01:21:14.100 They didn't want it revealed that it was Baby Yoda.
01:21:18.160 They didn't want any of those images released.
01:21:20.860 They wanted the fans to experience it for the first time.
01:21:24.740 And they learned from the other toys that were shipped out prior to, even if they weren't supposed to be seen, they would leak out.
01:21:34.660 Right.
01:21:34.880 And so they didn't want any spoilers on this.
01:21:37.160 And so they gave up all of that revenue for Christmas.
01:21:46.220 For Christmas.
01:21:47.060 It won't be available until like February.
01:21:49.000 That's amazing.
01:21:50.860 I mean, they lost a lot of revenue from taking all this stuff back to their own site, too.
01:21:55.320 They gave up billions of dollars in licensing to start Disney Plus.
01:21:58.660 I mean, I guess this is what happens when you have eight movies that make a billion dollars in a year.
01:22:02.460 You can kind of make some artistic choices in those years.
01:22:05.820 Yeah, they're not exactly panicked or strapped for cash.
01:22:08.680 No, no.
01:22:09.000 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
01:22:14.720 Thank you so much.
01:22:26.300 If you're a subscriber, of course, you already know because you can get that right now.
01:22:31.460 I mean, after this show, of course.
01:22:34.000 Almost daily, we hear stories of the assaults on free speech here in America.
01:22:38.660 The people are coming so unglued that, you know, Christians, Jewish people, they're called Nazis just because they disagree with the left.
01:22:47.360 Instead of engaging in ideas, they seek to silence anyone.
01:22:51.040 I want you to see a new documentary called No Safe Spaces.
01:22:55.460 Dennis Prager and Adam Carolla exposed the attack on free speech and free thought.
01:23:01.160 It is so well worth your time to watch this documentary.
01:23:05.260 A lot of our friends are in it, so you're really going to enjoy it.

01:23:43.760 So, Bloomberg yesterday came out with his anti-gun policy and how, you know, we're going to just round up all these evil guns.
01:23:54.560 Meanwhile, we find out from, I think it's the ATF, that they believe there are 425 million guns in America.
01:24:06.140 You're never going to round all those up, baby.
01:24:08.000 It's just not going to happen.
01:24:09.640 There's a movement going on now, and I think it's appropriate we talk about this after the shooting this morning in Pensacola.
01:24:17.980 There's a movement about sanctuary cities, except it's the opposite of the illegal immigrant sanctuary cities.
01:24:26.000 This one is a sanctuary where you're actually going to live the Constitution.
01:24:32.620 Thoughts on that?
01:24:33.720 We go to Virginia in one minute.
01:24:38.040 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:24:39.840 You realize every time you walk out your door, you're carrying your entire bank account in your pocket.
01:24:46.300 Not to mention your privacy, your good name, your locations, everything.
01:24:51.300 That's just your mobile device.
01:24:53.800 There's your laptop and every other device that can go on public Wi-Fi.
01:24:58.340 Somebody's identity gets stolen every two seconds, and you might miss certain identity threats if you're only monitoring your credit.
01:25:04.840 So protect your devices, protect yourself.
01:25:08.160 Why wouldn't you do everything you possibly could, especially when it's so, so simple as just going to LifeLock and seeing what they can offer and help?
01:25:18.720 LifeLock will detect a wide range of identity threats and alert you if and when a threat is detected.
01:25:23.980 So give them a call and visit their website today.
01:25:26.020 Now, nobody can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions at all businesses, but LifeLock can see the threats that you might miss on your own.

01:25:52.980 Phil Van Cleve is the president of Virginia Citizens Defense League.
01:25:59.100 And he is joining us now.
01:26:03.240 He believes in the right to keep and bear arms.
01:26:05.820 And Virginia has really turned quite radical, Phil.
01:26:11.380 Has it not?
01:26:12.040 I mean, towards the left.
01:26:14.140 Yeah, Glenn.
01:26:15.160 The last election gave power for the first time in 26 years in all branches, basically, to the Democrats.
01:26:23.500 That's the House, the Senate in Virginia and governor and lieutenant governor and attorney general.
01:26:29.980 So, yeah, it has.
01:26:32.740 And that's largely because a lot of people slept through the election.
01:26:35.400 Only 40% turnout.
01:26:37.540 And what does this mean for gun owners in Virginia?
01:26:40.540 Used to be a very solid state.
01:26:42.640 And now it's going hardcore left.
01:26:46.480 Well, for one thing, our governor had some problems with a photo coming up of him being in blackface or being in the Ku Klux Klan outfit.
01:26:54.600 We're not sure which it was.
01:26:55.860 It could have been, you know, either one.
01:26:58.400 And to divert attention from that and the fact that he was willing to calmly talk about killing babies that had managed to get born or maybe an abortion didn't work and they actually got born.
01:27:10.040 And then deciding what to do and killing this baby laying on a table, trying to get away from that stuff, he decided to focus on guns.
01:27:17.140 Plus, tons of money came in from Bloomberg.
01:27:19.840 Tons.
01:27:20.680 Millions and millions and millions came in the state because Bloomberg wants to get gun control going in Virginia big time.
01:27:27.560 He doesn't like Virginia because years ago we passed a law when he tried to trick gun dealers into doing straw sales or illegal sales.
01:27:37.260 Our state put together a new law that said, you come in here and do that again and we're going to charge you with a felony.
01:27:42.900 He's never forgiven us for that.
01:27:44.440 So he's really out to get guns in Virginia.
01:27:47.840 It's like a fetish with him.
01:27:50.120 Okay, so does it look like the Democrats will actually go the way of Bloomberg and start taking away guns or is it just a preparation step to start really looking into sanctuary cities?
01:28:11.480 Well, it's really, yeah, they decided to come on board full blast with all kinds of gun control.
01:28:18.980 We would end up being worse than New York or New Jersey or California.
01:28:22.640 Wow.
01:28:23.200 Just all kinds.
01:28:23.920 Oh, yes.
01:28:24.580 They put that all in.
01:28:25.640 But what happened was then he woke a sleeping giant.
01:28:29.540 All the gun owners that have been sleeping for years all of a sudden woke up.
01:28:33.540 And, oh, you should see the rallies we're having.
01:28:36.840 Boards of supervisors, all of cities, they're all saying we've never seen ever this many people here for any other thing, you know.
01:28:45.700 So, Philip, explain to the people because there's, you know, sanctuary cities usually are, we're not going to enforce this law.
01:28:55.140 Well, what you're saying is you're going to enforce the Constitution.
01:28:59.420 No matter what you pass, the Constitution says this.
01:29:04.060 So it's really not radical.
01:29:07.080 I mean, in today's world it is, but it's not a radical idea.
01:29:11.420 No, we are simply protecting a constitutional, constitutionally protected right.
01:29:16.800 We're simply saying, yeah, this right is protected, period.
01:29:20.340 And you can pass what you want, but if it violates the Constitution, then too bad.
01:29:26.040 And we have sheriffs saying, yeah, they're not going to enforce this stuff because these laws that they're putting in don't affect people like me and you, people that aren't criminals that have, you know, perfect records and all.
01:29:37.600 These are going after – it's going after you and me, not people that are criminals.
01:29:43.220 And so we're having – you and I are having the ones in Virginia that would have to do stuff, sell guns or turn them in or not be able to have this or that or go here or there.
01:29:54.580 And if it's criminals, we wouldn't care.
01:29:56.460 So we had a question yesterday come on the show, and it's my understanding, and this – I would love your help on this.
01:30:04.600 It's my understanding that the sheriffs are the only law enforcement that answer directly to the people.
01:30:12.900 They don't answer to the governor.
01:30:14.160 They don't answer to the mayor or anybody else.
01:30:16.680 They are county sheriffs that are elected by the people.
01:30:19.960 And so they are a force that is on their own.
01:30:26.880 They're kind of the last line of defense for the Constitution.
01:30:30.780 Is that true?
01:30:32.520 Yes, that is true.
01:30:33.560 Texas, I think, also has elected sheriffs when I was a deputy in their county.
01:30:37.760 But also our prosecutor, our commonwealth attorney, the state prosecutor is in an elected position, so they, too, answer to the people.
01:30:47.000 So we also have prosecutors saying, yeah, I'm not going to prosecute this stuff.
01:30:53.000 What does that do?
01:30:55.200 I mean, what does the left do?
01:30:58.300 Because I can't imagine in America coming for guns.
01:31:03.120 It just won't.
01:31:05.540 They're already trying to backpedal on this stuff.
01:31:08.620 They've watched – they're actually – they're very concerned.
01:31:11.820 They're watching this whole – they're seeing an uprise is what they're seeing of people going to all these meetings.
01:31:16.360 We have 43 counties now that are saying we're not – we're sanctuary.
01:31:20.620 Out of how many counties?
01:31:21.820 Out of how many counties?
01:31:22.860 Out of 95.
01:31:24.040 Holy cow.
01:31:25.780 So we're approaching the halfway mark.
01:31:28.320 And that's – we've only been doing this since a little after the election in November.
01:31:33.740 So this is – and there's going to be a vast number of them coming up to consider this on Monday and Tuesday.
01:31:39.760 We're also planning to have a lobby day rally on January 20th at 8 a.m. at the Capitol.
01:31:47.020 The rally actually starts at 11, but lobby day starts at 8.
01:31:50.040 We expect – we don't know how many people we're going to have, but we can usually turn out 1,000, 800 to 1,000.
01:31:56.120 I think this is going to be an absolutely eye-popping thing.
01:32:00.800 My wife has kind of pointed out she thinks that what's actually going on in Virginia will end up being historical, and I think it will.
01:32:06.480 I've never seen anything like this.
01:32:08.560 Well, I think that the people rising up against things that are unconstitutional is what our founders told us to do.
01:32:17.940 It's why we have the First and Second Amendment.
01:32:20.840 And when the people rise up locally, I think it will have an impact.
01:32:27.760 I mean – but how many of you – you're really kind of run by Fairfax County, are you not now?
01:32:33.820 Well, there's a few areas.
01:32:35.320 Yeah, that's the problem.
01:32:36.220 We don't have an electoral college in Virginia, so the vast majority of the state's red, but it's being dragged around by a few blue areas.
01:32:43.360 And so if people don't know the region, Fairfax County is basically the suburb of Washington, D.C.
01:32:49.200 Yeah, it is, and it's very blue, and the rest of the state is pretty much red with a little splotch of blue here and there, not much.
01:32:58.520 And they're just dragging us around.
01:33:00.260 And the rest of the state is basically standing up saying, enough of this.
01:33:03.800 You know, you're not coming after our rights.
01:33:05.460 The very guns that they want to ban are exactly what our founding fathers would expect us to have.
01:33:10.800 Now, by the way, one sheriff here in Virginia said if they were to pass a gun ban, he will deputize every gun owner in the county to make them law enforcement so they can keep their guns.
01:33:20.820 How's that for some guns?
01:33:22.000 Wow.
01:33:23.280 Wow.
01:33:24.440 And he can do that too, can't he?
01:33:26.760 Yes, he can.
01:33:28.660 That's amazing.
01:33:30.100 Yeah, our attorney general – oh, it's wonderful.
01:33:32.460 One of the Democrat delegates asked our attorney general, hey, what about these sanctuary cities?
01:33:38.180 These have no meaning, right?
01:33:39.800 And I was just dying to see his response because he supported sanctuaries for illegal aliens.
01:33:47.500 So how is he going to answer this?
01:33:49.280 They either are or they are not something.
01:33:54.700 So it kind of put him between a rock and a hard place.
01:33:58.160 So, Philip, are you hearing from other states in the union and other parts of the country that are looking at you as a test model?
01:34:10.020 Oh, yes, absolutely.
01:34:12.040 Because they know if Virginia falls, then they're next.
01:34:15.580 I mean, there's nowhere to run.
01:34:16.860 I'm pointing out to our members, there's nowhere to run.
01:34:19.860 You can go to Kentucky, you can go to North Carolina, you can go to Texas.
01:34:23.080 It's all coming.
01:34:24.360 You have to stand up and fight where you are.
01:34:26.660 This country, you cannot run.
01:34:28.360 We're here to fight.
01:34:29.320 People died in ditches to be where you and I are.
01:34:32.440 We can certainly stand and fight these stupid politicians.
01:34:35.040 Yeah.
01:34:35.540 Philip, thank you so much, and I wish you the best.
01:34:39.320 And my sincere hope that everything remains sane and nobody stupid gets involved and does things on either side.
01:34:55.820 Because I think people have had enough of being pushed around and the Constitution being just shoved into a corner or outright ignored.
01:35:08.720 And peaceful movements like this, where you stand your ground, are going to be the things that change the course of the country.
01:35:16.600 Thank you so much, Philip.
01:35:17.360 I believe it is.
01:35:17.800 Thank you very much.
01:35:18.640 You bet.
01:35:18.920 If you want to find out more, you can go to VCDL, VCDL.org.
01:35:28.740 That's Virginia Citizens Defense League, VCDL, and find out more on this.
01:35:36.340 I've said this many, many times for many years.
01:35:40.420 Know who your sheriff is.
01:35:43.880 Get to know your sheriff.
01:35:45.860 Your sheriff is the last line of defense when it comes to guns.
01:35:52.400 They report directly to you.
01:35:56.500 There's no governor or mayor or anybody else in line.
01:36:01.220 When you have your police department, they are doing the bidding of the commissioner and the mayor and everyone else.
01:36:10.660 This is a standalone organization, and it was for a reason.
01:36:15.380 And so know who your county sheriff is and make sure that they are for the first and second amendment.
01:36:23.640 What the hell?
01:36:24.200 They're for all of the amendments to the Constitution.
01:36:32.660 So, Stu, do you ever miss meat?
01:36:35.240 Do you ever miss steak?
01:36:36.160 Do you ever miss any of it?
01:36:37.640 No.
01:36:38.080 I mean, it's been a long time for me since I've had any.
01:36:41.000 So, no, it's not something anymore.
01:36:42.520 Did this coincide to that time when we went to Ruth, Chris, and we had that steak, and you lost your taste buds, and you're just eating potatoes?
01:36:50.320 And remember?
01:36:51.120 Your telling of my history is bizarre.
01:36:54.200 No, no, no.
01:36:55.000 I remember being with you at a Ruth, Chris, and we were celebrating something, and I was sitting next to you, I think, and you said to the guy,
01:37:04.640 do you have something crunchy, or you were describing how you wanted it to feel in your mouth.
01:37:10.800 And I'm like, what the hell are you talking about?
01:37:13.220 It was a little weird.
01:37:13.500 It was a little weird.
01:37:14.080 It was weird.
01:37:14.520 But you hadn't told anybody for a while there.
01:37:17.200 You lost all sense of taste.
01:37:18.700 Just a few months.
01:37:19.920 I mean, no big deal.
01:37:21.560 Certainly not necessary to go to the doctor for something like that.
01:37:24.560 You didn't?
01:37:24.940 No, I did at the time.
01:37:26.180 Yeah.
01:37:26.360 But it was, yeah, I mean, it came back.
01:37:29.360 Unfortunately, for my physique, it came back.
01:37:31.260 Yeah.
01:37:31.480 Because the best thing about not having any taste buds is you don't care, right?
01:37:35.060 Right.
01:37:35.200 Like, I think I ordered broccoli.
01:37:36.560 You did.
01:37:37.040 Why not?
01:37:37.580 You ordered it by texture.
01:37:39.020 And I was like, and so many times, you know, now being the fattest man on the earth, I, no, seriously, we have slowed down because I'm on this part of the American continent.
01:37:50.940 We have slowed the earth's rotation down just a little bit.
01:37:54.960 And we are a little worried that Texas may capsize.
01:37:59.280 Capsize.
01:37:59.940 Well, I'm in the middle.
01:38:01.000 So I'm kind of, if I go too far east or west, it could capsize.
01:38:05.500 But, so do you ever miss it?
01:38:10.340 I don't anymore.
01:38:12.200 You know, the one thing I will say.
01:38:13.580 Just gone dead inside?
01:38:14.480 You can't do, probably.
01:38:15.880 The one thing that, like, because there's a lot of decent, we talked about the Impossible Burger and other things.
01:38:20.020 There's a lot of decent replacements for some of that stuff.
01:38:22.160 The one thing they can't do is, like, a knife and fork steak.
01:38:25.120 Like, that's not something, I've seen people try it.
01:38:27.500 I've ordered stuff online.
01:38:29.180 Like, they had porterhouses and stuff that aren't meat and they try to replicate it.
01:38:33.860 And just, it doesn't work.
01:38:34.760 It's, like, spongy and weird.
01:38:36.760 That's the one thing I've never seen anybody actually be able to replicate well.
01:38:39.720 I don't think you're going to be able to.
01:38:41.180 I mean, a good filet.
01:38:42.320 I am a rancher.
01:38:43.740 And I know now what it takes to make a great tender steak.
01:38:48.720 I mean, it's a lot of work, a lot of money, a lot of land, a lot of flat land.
01:38:55.440 You don't want them climbing hills and stuff.
01:38:57.720 I mean, I've really learned a lot on how to create a great steak.
01:39:04.760 Omaha Steaks.
01:39:05.920 This is America's original butcher.
01:39:08.040 Their steaks are so unbelievably tender.
01:39:12.580 Tender than many times I don't eat veal because I don't like to torture the animal to be able to have it taste better.
01:39:18.120 But these steaks are as tender, more tender, I think, than most veal is.
01:39:24.340 You can cut these fillets with your fork.
01:39:28.060 It's unbelievable.
01:39:29.180 Right now, they're having a special for Christmas.
01:39:32.180 You'll get four six-ounce bacon-wrapped fillets.
01:39:36.060 You get four savory premium pork chops, four Omaha Steak burgers.
01:39:40.840 Then you get four Potatoes au Groton, four made-from-scratch caramel apple tartlets.
01:39:46.060 You get the Omaha Steak signature seasoning packet plus a free six-piece cutlery set and a cutting board.
01:39:52.460 And how much would you pay?
01:39:55.560 $69.99 is all this costs you.
01:39:59.340 This is a great, for a meat eater, this would be a bad gift for Stu.
01:40:03.800 But for a meat eater, it's a great Christmas gift.
01:40:07.800 OmahaSteaks.com.
01:40:08.900 Make sure you, when you go to OmahaSteaks.com, you go to the search bar and you type in the word Beck because that will take you right to the specials.
01:40:17.940 You're not going to be able to find them if you don't do that.
01:40:19.420 Go to the search bar, put the word Beck in that search bar, and find this special right now at OmahaSteaks.com.
01:40:26.180 We break for 10-second station ID.
01:40:27.840 There is, there's so much going on around the world.
01:40:51.080 This, please pray for peace and voice your support for the people that are rising up in the streets in, in Iran.
01:41:02.680 This is the most violent uprising in Iran since 1975.
01:41:09.060 And 1975, or sorry, 1979 is when the students of the Islamic Republic decided to stand up and bring their old pal Ayatollah Khomeini back.
01:41:22.260 And that's what created this Islamic state.
01:41:25.360 Iran is, it's Persia.
01:41:27.440 It is such a rich, rich history and has an understanding of freedom and intellectualism.
01:41:34.860 I mean, it's, this is not a backwater people by any chance of, by any stretch of the imagination.
01:41:42.400 Rich, rich culture.
01:41:44.820 These people, some of these probably were part of the revolution in 79, fighting for the overthrow of the Shah.
01:41:52.460 Now they're in the streets saying, we do not want Islamic law.
01:41:56.840 We want the Islamic state abolished.
01:41:59.240 And millions of them are out in force right now.
01:42:02.920 And about a thousand of them have been just gunned down in the streets.
01:42:08.460 There, there's hundreds of these protests happening in hundreds of cities all across Iran.
01:42:15.160 And the sources are telling us now that the Iranian National Guard is just going in and they're just, they're taking these smaller ones in smaller cities.
01:42:24.800 And they're just gunning everybody down with machine guns.
01:42:28.760 And then when the loved ones come to claim the bodies, they're still there and they say, oh, that's your husband.
01:42:35.800 That's your son.
01:42:36.620 That's your, your daughter.
01:42:38.580 Yeah.
01:42:39.180 Well, you owe us for the bullets.
01:42:41.480 See, they've got four holes in them.
01:42:43.400 You owe us the price for four bullets just to rub salt in the wound and to show they're in charge.
01:42:50.740 It's grotesque what's happening.
01:42:52.860 7,000 people have been swept up and put into prison.
01:42:55.800 Do you think there's any chance that this actually results in the overturn?
01:42:59.000 Yes.
01:42:59.300 You do?
01:42:59.800 I do.
01:43:00.400 If, if Trump reacts right, I do.
01:43:05.920 And so far you think he has, right?
01:43:07.300 I think he has.
01:43:07.940 I mean, it's what Obama didn't do.
01:43:10.260 Right.
01:43:10.900 You know, we are, we are crushing them on sanctions right now.
01:43:14.620 So their, their, their value of their dollar, if you will, was 30,000 reals to $1 under Obama.
01:43:24.080 Under Trump, it's 130,000 reals to a dollar.
01:43:30.080 The price of milk and meat and cheese and everything that you would need up 70% in just the last few months.
01:43:37.800 And gas was the last, you know, now they're like, we can't even drive.
01:43:42.380 And you're spending all this money on these foreign wars that we don't want anybody.
01:43:48.540 We don't want the caliphate.
01:43:50.020 We don't even want the Republic here.
01:43:52.060 And, uh, they're starting to get even some of the religious people, which I don't think they had in 08.
01:44:00.320 So they're getting some of the religious people, not the clerics, but they're getting some of the religious people, um, that are saying enough is enough.
01:44:07.240 And I think if we stand strong, I think they, they go free.
01:44:12.000 It's interesting because I, you know, I'm optimistic, obviously, and it's a terrible regime and we've been rooting for the actual people who are on to have a chance at freedom for a very long time.
01:44:21.460 However, we've also seen over that time, how many opportunities for freedom have been, uh, acquired and then also wasted.
01:44:32.220 I mean, it's usually when you have a turnover of a free state into a totalitarian state, usually lasts about 80 years.
01:44:40.300 So we're at the halfway point.
01:44:41.720 Um, you know, they might have, they might have to have that entire generation pass that remembers it at all before they have a chance to freedom.
01:44:52.460 I hope that's not true.
01:44:53.660 And if we stand strong and let the people in Iran know we're behind you, it gives them the strength to hold on and to keep moving forward.
01:45:03.100 You're listening to Glenn Beck.
01:45:06.520 All right.
01:45:07.360 My wife has made it very clear, very clear that she wants an ex-chair for Christmas.
01:45:13.660 Guess what my wife's getting for Christmas?
01:45:16.040 Uh, an ex-chair?
01:45:16.600 Well, that would be the smart thing to do now, wouldn't it?
01:45:21.000 Uh, all right.
01:45:21.840 So she's going to get the, she's going to get the gift that she's been asking for.
01:45:27.180 Uh, you know, cause, uh, honestly.
01:45:30.160 By not giving it when she says, I like to, you know, I'm just thinking maybe the ex-chair.
01:45:34.860 All I hear is Admiral Ackbar going, it's a trap.
01:45:39.380 You need to do it.
01:45:41.120 Uh, with its patented dynamic variable lumbar support in 10 settings, the ex-chair is what those around you need for a comfortable workday.
01:45:49.580 It's what you need.
01:45:50.520 It's the next generation in office chairs.
01:45:53.200 My wife wants one so bad because she comes to my office and she sits in these and she's like, this is fantastic.
01:45:58.620 It's an ex-chair, 10 different settings, variable lumbar support.
01:46:02.720 It's just great and it's $100 off right now at ex-chairbeck.com.
01:46:06.060 Comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
01:46:08.140 Call 844-4X-CHAIR or go to ex-chairbeck.com.
01:46:12.020 That's ex-chairbeck.com.
01:46:16.660 If you're near Salt Lake City and want to get into the Christmas spirit and laugh hard,
01:46:20.940 tomorrow night, Glenn Beck at the Christmas show.
01:46:23.540 Go to glennbeck.com slash Christmas for tickets.
01:46:25.760 Now.
01:46:32.720 Really excited for a podcast with Nikki Haley.
01:46:51.600 Uh, in a way I don't think you've ever seen or heard her.
01:46:54.400 Um, she is so genuinely likable, uh, and so honest and open.
01:47:03.200 I mean, I just, she does not feel like a politician and, uh, wicked, wicked, wicked smart.
01:47:10.980 Uh, and it was interesting how she talked about, she was first offered the job of secretary of state and she went to meet with the president.
01:47:20.640 And, uh, and turned him, turned him down.
01:47:23.860 And here's a, here's a cut from that.
01:47:27.420 Nikki Haley, the podcast.
01:47:29.560 You are such a different, I, I, I don't know if you know this.
01:47:36.540 Um, but you are, you know, Jean Kirkpatrick is.
01:47:42.760 Yes, I do.
01:47:44.000 I love her.
01:47:44.640 Super cool, yes.
01:47:45.300 She's the only U.M. ambassador we've ever had, except you now, that I've went, oh, where's Jean?
01:47:53.360 She was so great.
01:47:55.000 Um, you have, you're not this pantsuit politician.
01:48:01.200 You're not a, um, you're not an angry woman.
01:48:05.700 You're, you're ambitious and yet it doesn't seem like it.
01:48:10.780 I don't, I'm sure you get all of those, you know, name calling.
01:48:14.240 Um.
01:48:15.300 And I think it's because, and this may have been the PTSD, the cause of this, you seem
01:48:24.000 to be very empathetic.
01:48:25.580 You seem to be able to feel people.
01:48:30.060 You know, I was like that growing up and I think it's because, you know, there were some
01:48:36.540 painful times growing up being discriminated against or watching my dad go through tough
01:48:42.440 times, things like that.
01:48:44.260 You, one, have no patience for bullies because you remember when they did it to you.
01:48:50.460 Two, you have sympathy for those that are made to feel different because I myself knew what
01:48:56.520 that felt like.
01:48:57.280 And so I've always been very in tune with people's pain and very in tune with how to lift them
01:49:05.780 up so that they can be stronger and not be victims of that pain.
01:49:10.500 That's really rare in politics.
01:49:11.940 I mean, I think most politicians are just sociopaths.
01:49:15.600 I mean, they just, they.
01:49:18.080 It's a tough club to be a part of.
01:49:19.500 I won't tell you.
01:49:20.200 It is, but, but they are, you know, they're ambitious.
01:49:24.080 I'm not saying this in a, I know sociopath sounds bad, but it's hard to do what they do
01:49:33.540 and be able to steam through it and push through it.
01:49:38.060 And just, I mean, you, you are, you know, a witness or a testimony of that.
01:49:47.660 Look at what happened to you.
01:49:49.920 You know, you internalize stuff and man, if you're just even in the public eye, don't do
01:49:55.980 that because you'll just end up a ball of jello.
01:50:00.340 Well, you know, I think I never wanted to be a politician.
01:50:02.640 I was an accountant and, you know, grew up in my family's business and stumbled into
01:50:08.140 politics simply by the fact that I was doing the business for my mom's company and was complaining
01:50:15.640 about how hard it was to make a dollar and how easy it was for government to take it.
01:50:20.100 And my mom said, don't complain about it.
01:50:22.500 Do something about it.
01:50:23.880 And so I ran because I thought there were too many lawyers at the state house and they
01:50:27.520 needed one really good accountant.
01:50:28.880 And I think that I've never wanted to be a politician to be a politician.
01:50:35.700 I've wanted to move the ball.
01:50:38.520 I've wanted to make people better.
01:50:41.120 And every time I do something like that, it humbles me more.
01:50:46.560 She was, what precedes this part of the conversation is when there was the shooting in, in the Carolinas
01:50:56.240 and, uh, she had to go and be with the victim's families.
01:51:02.360 And, uh, she said, just tore her apart, just almost destroyed her.
01:51:07.520 And it's fascinating, uh, how she balanced that with guns and how she balanced that as a human
01:51:15.340 being and how she went through it.
01:51:17.480 She's really a very compassionate, um, um, an interesting person.
01:51:22.480 I asked her a little bit about China and do we stand up for Hong Kong?
01:51:27.700 Listen, when you look at, um, China, I can't figure out how, I mean, tell me, tell me how Hong Kong plays into this.
01:51:40.240 I know we have this new Senate resolution that he was supposed to sign or maybe did sign.
01:51:45.320 The House passed it and the Senate passed it.
01:51:47.360 Hugely important, um, to having the backs of the people of Hong Kong.
01:51:51.420 Right.
01:51:51.780 I mean, we have to be on their side.
01:51:54.340 We have to be on their side because if Hong Kong falls, Taiwan is next.
01:51:58.660 And this is all part of China's grand plan.
01:52:01.620 And the one thing they hate more than anything else is being called out.
01:52:05.080 And this calls them out and says that we will monitor the actions China has with Hong Kong.
01:52:11.660 So how do we do that and do a deal with China?
01:52:15.760 Well, I mean, this is obviously sticky.
01:52:17.900 I think that, look, I would love to see, and I do think the president should sign it.
01:52:23.400 And I think he should say, look, we're going to do this.
01:52:25.600 But if China, which I know is saying, if you sign that, we're going to pull back.
01:52:32.060 I know they're doing that because I saw them doing serious consequences.
01:52:36.440 They did it at the U.N. all the time.
01:52:38.320 They wouldn't even allow Taiwanese people to come into the U.N.
01:52:41.800 They banned all of them.
01:52:43.220 And the U.N. listened because they bullied them so much.
01:52:45.660 So I know he's doing that.
01:52:47.620 I think that the president can either go one of two ways.
01:52:51.440 He can sign it and say, we're doing this anyway.
01:52:54.000 He can veto it and the House and Senate are going to override it anyway.
01:52:57.460 And then he can say, well, I didn't do it, but Congress did.
01:53:00.320 And either way, I would like to see him sign it.
01:53:03.760 I'd like to see him stand with the people of Hong Kong.
01:53:05.940 I think when it comes to our values and when it comes to what we believe in, we shouldn't compromise on that.
01:53:12.140 China needs us anyway, whether we sign the Hong Kong bill or not.
01:53:16.080 They need us anyway.
01:53:18.040 And I think the world needs someone to stand against oppression.
01:53:24.640 We need and we when we lead, others follow.
01:53:28.840 When we led on Guaido and Venezuela, you know, 50 plus other countries followed.
01:53:34.360 When we lead on the people on defending the people of Hong Kong and having their backs and using the power of their voice, others will listen.
01:53:43.000 I mean, think about what's happening.
01:53:44.540 You've got over a million Uyghurs or Muslims in reeducation camps in China, making them change their name, change their religion, change their way of thinking.
01:53:53.540 If any other country in the world were doing this, everybody would be up in arms.
01:53:58.700 But because it's China, no one's talking about it.
01:54:02.160 That's what China has been doing around the world is they bully everybody into not calling them out.
01:54:07.800 But if we continue to fall in line with that, then they will continue to oppress people around the world.
01:54:13.500 Let me play one more clip.
01:54:15.060 This is from Nikki Haley.
01:54:16.220 This is a podcast that is already available at BlazeTV.com.
01:54:20.400 If you're a subscriber, these come out on Thursdays.
01:54:23.500 So you can get a couple of days head start.
01:54:25.940 You get the advance on it.
01:54:27.100 Then it goes out to YouTube and everywhere else on Saturday mornings on my podcast.
01:54:32.400 And so you can wait until tomorrow.
01:54:35.080 But this is worth signing up for and hearing this with Nikki Haley.
01:54:39.380 I asked her to explain how she could leave all of this without a tweet.
01:54:45.060 And her answer was pretty simple.
01:54:46.820 Listen.
01:54:47.880 You know, everybody asks how I got out of the administration without a tweet.
01:54:52.060 And basically it was I would tell him the truth.
01:54:56.180 He was doing something right.
01:54:57.580 I would praise him.
01:54:58.320 I would support.
01:54:58.960 I would rally.
01:54:59.600 I would do whatever was needed.
01:55:00.600 I thought he was making a mistake.
01:55:03.000 I would say I would call him or meet with him and say, I think you're making a mistake.
01:55:07.020 Instead, I think you should do X.
01:55:09.380 And he would say, OK, how do you see that playing out?
01:55:12.440 He would always listen, not just to me, to everybody.
01:55:15.620 So he was one that was willing to be swayed.
01:55:19.140 But when he made his mind up, he was done.
01:55:22.440 It was our responsibility to support and rally for him to get that.
01:55:26.200 That's the way every business, every household, everything works.
01:55:30.380 It's the way the American public expects it to work.
01:55:34.040 As Obama used to say all the time, elections have consequences.
01:55:37.400 Yes.
01:55:40.240 You were asked to be secretary of state.
01:55:43.980 I was asked to be in the running for secretary of state.
01:55:47.900 I wasn't like formally offered the position.
01:55:50.240 I was asked to come to New York and talk about it.
01:55:52.260 And you went and you said, not me.
01:55:54.720 I'm not your person.
01:55:55.960 Yeah.
01:55:56.180 Why?
01:55:57.300 Because I think that you have to know when and how to be successful.
01:56:05.040 And we had too much going on in the world.
01:56:07.760 And it would have been.
01:56:08.600 The United Nations is just the same, except it's the.
01:56:11.700 I guess it's the big, it's the big people's table, but they don't do it.
01:56:17.340 I just didn't think he needed someone with that much of a learning curve going in, being
01:56:21.320 secretary of state.
01:56:22.220 And I, I think it's important for people to know their boundaries.
01:56:26.820 I'm not afraid to push through the fear and do things that are new and, and try something
01:56:32.200 new.
01:56:32.520 That was too big of a step and he deserved better.
01:56:35.880 And I think that the, I thought that the American people deserve better.
01:56:39.600 That is when he first picked Rex Tillerson, everybody of course was like, it's because
01:56:44.100 I'm built big oil and shut up.
01:56:47.220 Who else has the experience of running a company the size of Exxon and he's already negotiated
01:56:54.920 massive deals.
01:56:56.580 We were very excited.
01:56:57.620 I mean, I thought, especially because he had dealt with leaders of other countries.
01:57:02.720 He, you know, the business side, I love to see business people go into government.
01:57:07.120 I always think that's the way to go because they, they get rid of the red tape.
01:57:11.640 They understand that it's all about getting things done.
01:57:14.160 And so we were all very excited about Rex.
01:57:16.100 I thought that was a brilliant pick.
01:57:18.480 Turns out not so much.
01:57:20.160 They just disagreed on everything, literally on everything.
01:57:24.320 And so it would put me in the middle of that situation.
01:57:27.700 And I agreed with the president on almost everything.
01:57:30.400 So, you know, when you, when you look at, and I think the president was frustrated because
01:57:34.960 so much of what he was trying to do, Rex would slow walk, stall, or just not do it.
01:57:41.180 It's the reason why he asked me to go to Vienna to see the IAEA that was looking over the nuclear
01:57:46.840 production of Iran and doing all of the inspections.
01:57:51.580 Fascinating interview.
01:57:52.840 You don't want to miss.
01:57:54.460 It's Nikki Haley.

01:58:16.500 Get familiar with your front runner for the 2024 Republican nomination.
01:58:21.020 Clearly.
01:58:21.340 Because there is no, isn't it, I thought it was so smart when she said, you know, I mean,
01:58:26.060 she's taking on the United Nations.
01:58:28.280 That's a pretty big gig.
01:58:30.800 But she knew the difference between the United Nations gig and the secretary of state.
01:58:35.460 And she was like, oh, I thought that was too much for me on a learning curve to be fair
01:58:40.220 to the president.
01:58:41.060 Yeah.
01:58:41.180 I mean, she's very smart in building one piece at a time.
01:58:45.900 And now she has all the necessary experience, not only from, you know, the overseas experience
01:58:50.220 you're talking about here, but also as the governor of a state.
01:58:52.220 I mean, you know, an executive level role overseeing a big economy and a growing economy.
01:58:59.280 I mean, it's a, it's a, I mean, she's gonna, she's gonna start this thing in first place.
01:59:03.480 Two very different politicians, very different politicians, Ben Sasse and Nikki Haley.
01:59:11.600 They're both set, setting themselves up if they choose to run for president in 2024.
01:59:18.120 And Ben Sasse has been a guy, he's been pretty invisible lately.
01:59:21.820 Um, but he has set himself up as a guy that is just reasonable, can talk to everybody.
01:59:28.680 Uh, and Nikki Haley is kind of the same thing.
01:59:31.320 I mean, they're going to demonize her.
01:59:33.100 Um, but once you are exposed to her and listen to her, she's not an extremist by any stretch
01:59:39.360 of the imagination and would be our first Indian American.
01:59:44.980 Uh, although I doubt she would ever classify herself as that, but she'd be our first Indian
01:59:50.120 American, uh, president.

02:02:34.660 way if you know somebody says hey i think my ex-husband might be uh danger and we're going
02:02:39.880 through divorce right now uh you know they can take the husband's guns away uh without you know

02:02:55.600 gonna be very important to me and this is one of the things i'm moving forward so uh bloomberg has
02:03:00.420 that going for him that sounds great yeah it's interesting too the uh they did a study on
02:03:06.080 republicans what are their most intense policy positions um intensity uh so here's the top five
02:03:12.660 number five don't reduce the military size they don't want that happening number five number five
02:03:17.740 number four build a wall number three is interesting no slavery reparations and it's like it's very highly
02:03:25.200 it's just like they you know it's very popular very much supported but also very intense like
02:03:30.220 come on you know this is ridiculous number two don't ban guns so that's the number two most
02:03:36.400 passionate feeling they have what's number one abortion constitution don't impeach trump
