00:02:43.440 Ah, Merry Christmas.

00:02:50.360 Am I still allowed to say that?

00:02:51.740 I think so.

00:02:52.500 At least for a while.

00:02:53.480 You still got the 12 days of Christmas and all that.

00:02:56.720 I don't know if you're over it yet or not.

00:02:58.420 I still seem to be a little bit in the festive mood.

00:03:01.980 And then Happy New Year.

00:03:02.980 I can say that too.

00:03:03.900 Yesterday was Kwanzaa.

00:03:06.440 Can't say that I celebrate.

00:03:07.600 I did not celebrate Kwanzaa.

00:03:09.320 And, you know, I got a guy coming up a little bit later on in the program.

00:03:12.740 He is an expert.

00:03:14.340 He's written a book on Marxism.

00:03:16.240 I had Karl Marx himself, actually, written the book on it.

00:03:19.940 The guy will tell you why Kwanzaa is a joke and a little bit about the founder.

00:03:24.220 But more importantly, I think he's going to kind of pull the curtain back on a lot of

00:03:29.100 the things that we've been seeing, experiencing, and feeling over the course of the last several

00:03:34.880 years here in the country, where it all comes from.

00:03:38.260 A lot of people aren't aware of the reality.

00:03:42.260 A lot of things we're just seeing is, well, it's a byproduct of all of the chaos sown by

00:03:49.420 these Marxists, the people that want revolution and in ways that, well, you're seeing the

00:03:58.840 chickens come home to roost, so to speak, right?

00:04:01.480 It should be an interesting program talking to him, talking about the board a little bit

00:04:04.860 later on this show as well.

00:04:08.380 We're going to hear from Abe Hamaday, who is running for Congress down in Arizona.

00:04:12.660 Now, this Arizona, interesting place.

00:04:17.000 Abe actually ran for attorney general.

00:04:19.020 I think that was a Freudian slip.

00:04:20.800 Did I say one?

00:04:22.140 Well, some people believe that he did.

00:04:24.760 In fact, Abe may have something to say about that, too.

00:04:28.460 He'll be on the program this morning as well.

00:04:30.420 I've got to get to the latest breaking news out of Michigan.

00:04:37.340 This is the Michigan Supreme Court with President Trump ruling that he can stay on the ballot.

00:04:46.440 Just came out.

00:04:47.500 We've got this today out of the Detroit News.

00:04:51.120 Michigan Supreme Court won't hear appeal seeking to block Trump from the state's primary ballot.

00:04:59.320 So he gets to stay on, at least for now, in Michigan.

00:05:04.840 Now, this is part of the coordinated effort all across.

00:05:10.220 Democrats trying to sow chaos here.

00:05:12.360 And, of course, these are the people who love democracy.

00:05:17.340 Love democracy so much.

00:05:19.220 Got to protect it.

00:05:20.140 We can't even allow you to vote on a guy.

00:05:22.520 We're for a guy.

00:05:23.780 Can't even let this guy be on the ballot.

00:05:25.640 Let's how much we love democracy.

00:05:28.420 Oh, yeah.

00:05:29.980 Give me a break.

00:05:31.120 We'll talk about that coming up here and the effects of all of that coming up in the program in due time as well.

00:05:39.300 But first, this is probably the biggest story so far in the last few days.

00:05:47.540 She's defaced the nation on CBS, I believe it was Sunday. 0.79

00:05:52.520 Catherine Harris, who is one of the reporters, she's a lot of time at the Pentagon and Defense Department, doing a lot of work closely with the individuals of the know there.

00:06:03.260 And she's had some interesting reports lately, been in the news, not just making or reporting, but sort of making the news in some ways, too, which you don't really want to do if you're a reporter.

00:06:13.740 But here she is giving her an opinion.

00:06:15.400 This looks to be like a roundtable they did.

00:06:17.920 What's coming up in the next year?

00:06:20.100 And she says it's a black swan event.

00:06:23.580 Well, mine's a little dark.

00:06:24.660 I just feel a lot of concern that 2024 may be the year of a black swan event.

00:06:29.220 This is a national security event with high impact that's very hard to predict.

00:06:34.760 There are a number of concerns I have that factor into that.

00:06:38.640 And not only this sort of enduring heightened threat level that we're facing, the wars in Israel, also Ukraine.

00:06:46.920 And we're so divided in this country in ways that we haven't seen before.

00:06:50.500 And I think that just creates fertile ground for our adversaries like North Korea, China and Iran. 0.71

00:06:56.080 And that's what concerns me most.

00:06:57.900 Well, I shared this on X.

00:07:01.440 By the way, I'm on Twitter or X or Facebook or all the different platforms at Mr. Justin Barclay.

00:07:08.460 I shared it earlier.

00:07:11.260 And got to give him credit.

00:07:17.620 Bipolar tweets back, coming.

00:07:22.120 This is a black swan event coming.

00:07:23.640 He said, coming.

00:07:24.160 Are you sure?

00:07:24.960 We haven't been living one for the last couple of years.

00:07:27.960 I kind of.

00:07:29.000 It's a good point.

00:07:30.020 It's pretty solid.

00:07:31.760 I think we're living a black swan event in some way.

00:07:34.780 But the tough part of the black swan event.

00:07:36.780 I sort of agree with some of the things that she said.

00:07:40.740 But I want to tell you that the.

00:07:42.040 I've got to actually got the definition right here for you.

00:07:44.980 This is according to what she said was more related to national security.

00:07:50.740 But this is the definition of a black swan event is according to the Encyclopedia Britannica.

00:07:58.420 This is how they call it.

00:08:01.260 A high impact event that is difficult to predict under normal circumstances.

00:08:06.980 But that in retrospect, in other words, when you look back on it, you didn't see it coming.

00:08:11.820 But when you look back on it, you go, oh, yeah, duh.

00:08:15.000 Yeah.

00:08:15.200 It's a wonder.

00:08:17.200 You look back on it.

00:08:18.780 It appears to have been inevitable.

00:08:20.620 A black swan event is unexpected and therefore difficult to prepare for.

00:08:25.620 But is often rationalized with the benefit of hindsight as having been unavoidable.

00:08:31.740 So, the earliest known reference, black swan event occurs in the Roman poet, Juvedal's poem, satire, the sixth, in which he describes potential qualities of a woman worthy of marriage.

00:08:44.660 Yada, yada, yada, yada.

00:08:45.480 Okay, so, I will tell you that in some ways, stock market crashes, war, rumors of war, all those things that we're going, we're currently going through right now and certainly seem to be on the horizon.

00:09:04.680 If you've been paying attention, in other words, if you listen to this program or any other, consume any piece of news at all.

00:09:13.840 If you have a couple of brain cells firing together at the same time, you're paying attention, you're aware, you're conscious, you're awake, as some of the folks would say.

00:09:27.420 At this point, none of this is going to be any surprise, especially the things that she just predicted.

00:09:39.120 A black swan event, by definition, is something that you say you can't see coming, but when you look back, you say it was unavoidable.

00:09:49.020 Now, this is the times we're living in now.

00:09:59.020 I hate to use the word, unprecedented, but that's really where we find ourselves, right?

00:10:06.640 We're in a place right now, it's really not like, well, in some ways, it's very much like other times in history, but in some ways, it's also not like anything else that we've ever experienced.

00:10:19.340 And partially, that's due to technology.

00:10:24.040 Yeah, there are national security impacts and concerns and all kinds.

00:10:28.640 We got China out there.

00:10:29.940 We got Russia. 0.63

00:10:30.720 We've got the war with Ukraine.

00:10:32.060 We got corruption at levels we've never seen before in this country, the swamp, et cetera.

00:10:36.880 We've got all of these things happening all at the same time.

00:10:39.340 We got a wide open border that you could, I mean, not just drive a truck through, but you could drive truckloads through, and they're doing it, trainloads on a daily basis.

00:10:48.340 They're flying people out in airplanes all throughout the country, and then we don't even know who these people are that are coming in.

00:10:54.600 The barn door has been left wide open, and yes, black swan event.

00:10:58.640 I don't even think that begins to describe what's possible right now.

00:11:02.380 To me, the black swan event would be, what if nothing happens?

00:11:07.880 Well, that would certainly be unexpected.

00:11:11.460 I don't know if it's unavoidable, but that would be, to me, if nothing happens, at least in the next year.

00:11:21.300 That would be a black swan event.

00:11:23.800 Now, I've sort of, I wanted to wait, but I think I can sprinkle some in.

00:11:30.700 Again, because I'm filling in for Glenn over the next couple of days here, and I was thinking, you know, the last day, it was the last Friday, the last day before the new year, and I was thinking about doing some predictions.

00:11:46.680 So, I don't necessarily know if I want to go say predictions here, but what do you see on the horizon, 2024?

00:11:56.020 I'm just curious, what are you seeing that's coming?

00:12:00.700 I mean, I haven't even begun to scratch the surface.

00:12:04.360 Cyber attacks, some sort of a grid failure, whether that's from, you know, some sort of electromagnetic pulse EMP type thing, or whether that's a cyber attack.

00:12:14.720 We're seeing that constantly we're under attack on the, not just the grid, but all sorts of the critical infrastructure in this country.

00:12:21.080 I mean, I've never seen the country so vulnerable.

00:12:29.640 Maybe there's an issue with another terror event, some major issue that takes place, people coming across the border, or maybe there's something else that we can't even, I haven't even thought of yet.

00:12:41.700 But that would be the black swan.

00:12:44.200 What do you see?

00:12:45.240 I'm just curious, because I want to take the pulse of this audience.

00:12:48.460 This audience is the most plugged in.

00:12:52.240 It is the most aware.

00:12:54.320 It is the most informed audience that I've ever had the pleasure, the honor of being able to enjoy time with.

00:13:02.160 You know more about what's going on, because you've got your ear to the ground, you've got to get the pulse of things, because you're living it on a daily basis.

00:13:14.140 And that's one of the things about talk radio, by the way, is you get a chance to do radio, and I've been doing it since I was a kid.

00:13:22.520 But you can't fool, you can't fake it.

00:13:25.420 You just can't fool around, because you'll find out, in a hurry, that the audience is much, much smarter, much more aware, as I mentioned, than a lot of times than the host is.

00:13:40.080 I think there'd probably even be times as plugged in, as visionary as Glenn is himself.

00:13:47.560 I mean, I think there are probably even times that this audience will be stumped or surpassed even him at times.

00:13:53.700 But that's just credit to what we're doing here.

00:13:57.960 We're having conversations, of course, that you can't have anywhere else.

00:14:01.480 We're talking about what matters most.

00:14:02.700 So here's what I want to know.

00:14:03.580 What do you see coming?

00:14:05.080 They just said Black Swan event.

00:14:06.760 She's out there.

00:14:07.680 You know, to me, it's the first time.

00:14:10.080 Now they're actually out there putting it out.

00:14:12.340 We're starting to hear hints and hints.

00:14:14.020 There's something coming.

00:14:15.880 I don't know why, necessarily.

00:14:19.440 But we tend to be, it looks like, at least more comfortable at saying, oh, no, look out.

00:14:24.980 There is something on the horizon.

00:14:27.140 At least even in the mainstream media, they're covering this now.

00:14:31.420 CBS, deface the nation.

00:14:33.060 What do you see coming?

00:14:34.180 888-727-BECK.

00:14:36.160 That's 888-727-BECK. 0.81

00:14:39.860 Back for Beck.

00:14:41.060 In just moments, Justin Barkley and the Glenn Beck Program.

00:14:43.580 Your home is so much more than the place you live.

00:14:49.760 It's an investment tool as well.

00:14:51.440 And you can put that tool to use and access the equity that you have as cash to pay off those high-interest credit cards.

00:14:58.500 Did you know the average credit card rate now is hovering around 25%?

00:15:01.380 Some people are paying in 30-plus every single month.

00:15:04.300 I mean, it's insane.

00:15:05.320 If you're not paying that debt off in full every month, those fees are adding up.

00:15:10.020 And you just can't let that happen.

00:15:11.480 Which is why you need to look at your spending, your financing, your debt.

00:15:15.100 Better yet, let American Financing do that for you.

00:15:17.720 This is a family-owned mortgage lender.

00:15:19.440 They're not a bank.

00:15:20.320 You're important to them.

00:15:21.240 There's no pressure, no upfront or hidden fees.

00:15:23.400 If you call them today, you might be able to close in as fast as 10 days and even delay two mortgage payments.

00:15:29.240 They're saving homeowners just like you an average of $826 a month.

00:15:33.340 That could be life-changing.

00:15:34.720 So call today, 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440, AmericanFinancing.net.

00:15:40.960 American Financing, NMLS 1-82334, www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org.

00:15:46.820 So what do you see coming?

00:15:59.900 What is your prediction for 2024?

00:16:02.040 I think over the next couple of days, I'll do a couple of these here and there and then finally fill out the big Friday show, leaning into what you see coming.

00:16:11.480 As I mentioned, Black Swan event, Catherine Herridge, CBS, defaced the nation the other day, made the point. 0.96

00:16:18.300 She says a Black Swan event is coming.

00:16:23.520 It's just a matter of time.

00:16:25.600 What would that look like?

00:16:27.980 She names a couple of possibilities.

00:16:29.720 I'm just curious, as someone who is listening to talk radio, you're plugged into the news, you're connected with reality, which is a stark contrast to folks who believe you can be whatever you want to be, whatever, gender, whatever, saying it, you can do whatever it is that you want to do.

00:16:52.680 Do it if it feels good, all that stuff.

00:16:54.400 But it's a stark reality, a difference, a contrast from those who are completely disconnected.

00:16:59.560 You are.

00:17:00.420 Mine's a little dark.

00:17:01.580 I just feel a lot of concern that 2024 may be the year of a Black Swan event.

00:17:06.500 This is a national security event with high impact that's very hard to predict.

00:17:11.780 There are a number of concerns that I have that factor into that.

00:17:15.220 Not only this sort of enduring heightened threat level that we're facing, the wars in Israel, also Ukraine, and we're so divided in this country in ways that we haven't seen before.

00:17:27.400 And I think that just creates fertile ground for our adversaries.

00:17:31.060 It's almost like it's intentional.

00:17:33.240 North Korea, China, and Iran.

00:17:34.940 And that's what concerns me most.

00:17:36.760 So that's probably the other piece of this that ought to be admitted as well.

00:17:47.620 It's almost like it's intentional.

00:17:49.760 You mean the border being left wide open?

00:17:52.480 You mean the war with Ukraine, of course, what's happening in Israel?

00:17:57.820 Well, you mean all these issues coming together, it's almost like it's intentional.

00:18:07.780 I kind of have to laugh about it because all of the chaos we've seen since Biden has taken office, and I do mean that,

00:18:19.820 all of it we've seen since the very beginning is like engineered chaos.

00:18:27.860 Rahm Emanuel's famous, quote, never let a good crisis go to waste.

00:18:36.560 That's what we're seeing happen.

00:18:40.220 Now, whether they engineer it or whether they take full advantage of it when it happens,

00:18:46.720 either way, I don't know which one's worse.

00:18:50.420 That's my, I was listening to a clip of a guy, CIA agent, doing a podcast, a really good podcast, actually.

00:18:58.040 I can't remember the guy's name, but he's, it's like, former military special ops.

00:19:02.400 I want to say it's Sean something.

00:19:05.840 Actually, he's just great work.

00:19:07.420 Lots of really solid interviews.

00:19:10.260 And the CIA guy I've seen on a couple of different shows, but they were talking about

00:19:13.800 this, this idea that if it, you know, whether something's a conspiracy theory or not, whether

00:19:21.280 something, you know, it could be a conspiracy theory or whether it's just, in other words,

00:19:29.020 whether it's intentional or whether it's just incompetence.

00:19:31.400 And he says, you know, nine times out of 10, one of the rules they had, he said, it's CIA

00:19:36.780 was if, if, if it is most more likely chances are that it is that that this whole issue, whatever

00:19:44.540 you're looking at comes from somebody messing up, comes from somebody making a mistake.

00:19:53.600 There are just so many of these days.

00:19:55.300 And my question is, I don't know which one's worse, whether all of the chaos, the insanity,

00:20:01.680 the weakness, all of the vulnerability we see in this country.

00:20:06.060 I don't know if it, which one's worse, whether it's incompetence or whether it's intentional.

00:20:12.280 And again, I don't want to take you too far down the rabbit hole, but grab your tinfoil hat.

00:20:16.000 A little bit later on the program, we're going to be talking to a man who wrote the book

00:20:23.080 on, on some of this, I believe, um, but particularly what we're seeing happening to our kids and

00:20:31.100 the schools and all the theory, right?

00:20:34.540 All the theory, conspiracy theory, and that's conspiracy theory, but the Marxism, the, all

00:20:40.920 of the critical, this theory, critical, that theory, uh, it's that this is, this is reality.

00:20:47.260 They're teaching these things in school and, and it's, I mean, it's, it's all levels of,

00:20:52.080 of indoctrination, uh, at this point, it's, it's every, from the, from the day the kids get

00:20:59.980 into the kindergarten classroom, these, these teachers are pushing it on them.

00:21:05.460 All right.

00:21:05.760 I've got to take a break, but when I come back, I got to get, I'm going to get to your phone

00:21:09.160 calls.

00:21:11.160 Um, so stand by for that.

00:21:12.840 If you wanted to weigh in on this, what do you see coming?

00:21:16.460 We just heard CBS defaced the nation.

00:21:19.160 Catherine Harrods says she thinks a black swan event.

00:21:21.600 She kind of went through a number of things that are possible around there.

00:21:24.580 What do you see coming in the days ahead?

00:21:28.880 2024, at least we'll grab your calls coming up in just moments.

00:21:33.840 That's 888-727-BECK. 0.81

00:21:35.840 That's 888-727-BECK. 0.81

00:21:39.080 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck program.

00:21:45.260 The Glenn Beck program.

00:21:48.900 Your car is like an extension of you.

00:21:51.640 Am I right?

00:21:52.220 It goes wherever you go from work to the gym, picking up the kids, dining out, visiting grandma.

00:21:56.900 So when your car breaks down, it's kind of like you're breaking down.

00:22:00.200 At least you will from the cost of fixing it.

00:22:02.880 Am I right?

00:22:04.020 But fear not, because CarShield has your back like they've had mine with my trucks up at

00:22:08.780 the ranch.

00:22:09.380 Don't worry about how much it's going to cost to fix your car when it breaks down because

00:22:13.200 you'll have a protection plan like I do with CarShield.

00:22:16.240 It covers more than 5,000 parts from alternators to big ticket items like transmissions.

00:22:27.640 to CarShield's price lock guarantee, no matter how many claims you file, no matter what happens

00:22:49.280 Glenn Beck.

00:22:51.020 Missed this show?

00:22:52.020 Listen anytime, anywhere podcasts are found.

00:22:55.300 Stick around.

00:22:56.120 More after the break.

00:22:57.140 Stand back!

00:23:12.040 Thousands, thousands more than ever before headed our way.

00:23:15.480 Porter, wide open, the caravan, maybe the biggest, the largest ever, headed to the United

00:23:21.800 States as we speak now.

00:23:24.140 And some of that audio you hear, obviously, these folks that are making their way in.

00:23:29.940 Massive migrant caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border, largest in over a year.

00:23:35.780 May balloon up to 15,000 people.

00:23:38.820 One of the activists there warning at the New York Post with this story, making his way

00:23:44.240 through Mexico to the U.S.-Mexico border, largest in more than a year, 730,000 asylum seekers, illegals

00:23:54.420 here, encountered at the southern border since October alone.

00:23:58.680 That's the latest statistics.

00:24:02.320 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

00:24:05.580 One of the questions I wanted to ask you was, what do you see coming in the next couple of

00:24:09.800 years, or the next year or so?

00:24:12.180 At least, that's the focus of what Catherine Herridge had to say on DeFace the Nation the 1.00

00:24:18.380 other day, a black swan event, she says she sees coming.

00:24:23.400 Another couple of options on the spot.

00:24:25.740 This is, black swan, usually something they say they didn't see coming.

00:24:30.460 And yet, when you look back, they say, well, no, that was predictable.

00:24:35.540 It was inevitable.

00:24:36.760 I wanted to just grab a couple.

00:24:38.140 I got a penny in Colorado, it looks like, up first.

00:24:41.840 888-727-BECK is the number, 888-727-BECK.

00:24:46.920 What do you see coming?

00:24:48.380 You're on the Glenn Beck program.

00:24:51.320 Hey, Justin.

00:24:52.240 You know, I really, in the chatter around me, I hear that the open borders really is about

00:24:57.780 just getting the vote.

00:24:59.400 And I see a much darker picture than that.

00:25:02.300 I see total breakdown of society in our schools, in our finances, in our groceries, with the

00:25:07.840 floods that are taking place in our voting system.

00:25:10.520 I see a total breakdown by a flood just so that the left or whomever is running the White

00:25:17.320 House right now really can control what we need instead of us choosing for ourselves.

00:25:23.220 You know, that's really interesting, Penny.

00:25:25.380 It's because no matter what, this is the thing, no matter what happens, whether it's intentional

00:25:31.820 or just because of the incompetence of these people in charge, their goal, their key is never

00:25:37.160 let a good crisis go to waste is to use it to push through whatever it is that they want

00:25:41.440 to do.

00:25:41.700 And they've got all these plans sitting on the shelf, like we see every time, to push forward

00:25:48.080 and move ahead, whatever it is that they want.

00:25:51.000 What do you think is the next?

00:25:52.820 What do you see that they want?

00:25:54.240 I mean, we know some of the case of, you read Glenn's books, you've been paying attention

00:25:58.400 to documentation that some of these folks put out, what do you see that they want to

00:26:02.500 push forward next?

00:26:03.420 A key priority.

00:26:05.840 I think there's going to be a lot of lawlessness.

00:26:09.180 I think there is going to be a financial catastrophe where we are no longer in charge of our finances,

00:26:17.200 but they're being managed by somebody who does not have good intentions for this country.

00:26:23.180 And I see a breakdown of the family and faith.

00:26:32.100 Well, thank you.

00:26:33.400 Thank you for your call today.

00:26:34.540 I appreciate it.

00:26:35.780 I will say this.

00:26:39.780 We've seen a lot of this already take place, a breakdown of the family, breakdown of faith.

00:26:45.700 We've already seen a lot of that over the last few years.

00:26:47.700 It's become more and more evident.

00:26:48.860 And I will say that I think as things get worse, we've seen it definitely in times of

00:26:54.440 tragedy.

00:26:55.140 September 11th is one that I can remember vividly is how people did come back to their faith 0.60

00:27:05.100 in looking for answers.

00:27:09.020 Matter of fact, that sort of ties in with some of the good news I have.

00:27:12.440 It was despite all that kind of started out heavy this morning.

00:27:14.940 The black swan event.

00:27:18.420 It kind of started out a little bit heavy.

00:27:20.040 That's okay, though.

00:27:20.880 That's okay because I've got some good news.

00:27:24.040 And it sort of ties into what I want to make sure that I get across coming up here in a bit.

00:27:32.720 I want to get a couple more phone calls.

00:27:34.340 First, let's go to Craig in Tennessee.

00:27:36.300 Craig, you are on the Glenn Beck program.

00:27:39.680 Appreciate you calling in.

00:27:41.420 Happy New Year, Justin.

00:27:42.820 Thank you.

00:27:43.220 You too.

00:27:43.440 I had the luxury of predicting a trifecta back in 2016, which was the Chicago Cubs win the

00:27:52.920 World Series, Trump wins the presidency, and Brexit takes effect.

00:28:00.160 And I've got a new trifecta for this year.

00:28:03.880 Oh, boy.

00:28:05.280 Yeah.

00:28:06.660 You got any lottery numbers while we're at it?

00:28:09.060 I'm telling you, that was the longest trifecta ever in the world.

00:28:13.900 But I got one here.

00:28:16.620 Biden is going to be gone before the end of his term.

00:28:20.640 They have to get rid of him.

00:28:22.500 They cannot let him run.

00:28:25.640 What do you think happens there?

00:28:27.300 Because I think that a lot of people that agree, I have said that, look, I mean, he's not going to be...

00:28:33.960 What I see happening, they've got the Plan B team.

00:28:37.440 There is Gavin, gruesome Gavin Newsom, the American psycho, governor of the People's Republic of California, who's waiting in the wings.

00:28:44.740 And there's just the Wolverine Queen, Gretchen Whitmer, the governor in People's Republic of Michigan, where I'm at, who also is...

00:28:51.960 I think there's any number of people, and honestly, it doesn't matter who it is, they want to install someone, a fresh face, because they know Biden's poll numbers are so bad.

00:29:00.520 He's so unpopular.

00:29:02.400 And he is really almost at the point now where he's almost physically incapable of being the face of whatever it is.

00:29:10.380 Because, you know, they get the machine.

00:29:11.480 There's an army of Obama, former Obama administrations that are behind the scenes kind of pulling the levers.

00:29:20.180 And so, just somebody will go along with whatever it is that they want to do, I think.

00:29:24.940 How do you think they get him out?

00:29:27.020 How do they switch him out?

00:29:29.780 They win the primaries.

00:29:33.000 They say his medical problems get worse.

00:29:37.300 And they just walk him out, and they nominate whoever they want.

00:29:40.380 I mean, that's what they're going to do.

00:29:41.800 They've got to get rid of him.

00:29:43.240 They have to get rid of him.

00:29:44.320 That's kind of what I've seen, too, yeah.

00:29:46.820 The other part of the trifecta is they're going to take out Trump.

00:29:51.360 I don't know if it's going to be by assassination or what, but they cannot let him run.

00:29:56.120 The way they're going after him, with no holds barred, they're going to take him out.

00:30:03.180 I mean, there's just...

00:30:05.940 It just is too obvious.

00:30:08.640 I mean, they're going to lose the Supreme Court.

00:30:13.000 They're going to lose getting him off the ballots, and they have to take him out somehow.

00:30:18.520 It's very obvious that that is how desperate they are.

00:30:22.820 They pray for our country.

00:30:24.460 And look, I'm not the only one who's mentioned this.

00:30:26.880 And I do...

00:30:28.420 I think that we are getting down to a point where, again, we just got the news from Michigan.

00:30:33.540 The Colorado news kind of backfired.

00:30:35.740 The news from Michigan that the Supreme Court in the state of Michigan is not going to move forward with that appeal to kick him off the ballot.

00:30:44.780 They're not going to do that.

00:30:45.680 So, you know, there's something to be said for that.

00:30:50.880 I hate to think of anything that would be, you know, like you suggested, what Tucker suggested, but these things are realities that, you know,

00:31:00.320 if you're really looking at how bad things are and how backed up into a corner, the sort of the caged wild animals get, what they'll do, that just...

00:31:13.420 The answer justifies the means.

00:31:15.000 There's no...

00:31:15.420 Everything's on the table, in other words.

00:31:17.320 And, Craig, that's a great point.

00:31:18.860 What is your number?

00:31:19.500 So, number one, we got Biden will be out.

00:31:22.380 Look, Trump will be out of the picture in some way, maybe, hopefully not, in any sort of ill act towards him.

00:31:33.060 But then, number three, what's number three for you?

00:31:36.660 China's got to take out Taiwan before Biden leaves office.

00:31:41.280 That's very obvious that they're going to do that.

00:31:43.480 And if they told him that, they're going to do it.

00:31:46.940 I mean, simple.

00:31:48.760 People aren't talking about it.

00:31:51.160 Seriously.

00:31:52.460 But that is going to happen.

00:31:54.960 When a man speaks directly to the president and tells him, you've got to listen, and Biden is going to let it happen.

00:32:05.980 Craig in Tennessee, thank you.

00:32:07.500 We're going to put those on the board and see.

00:32:08.980 I mean, I just would pray for, obviously, this country.

00:32:14.240 I pray for our leaders.

00:32:16.020 Not just President Trump.

00:32:18.120 I pray Biden as well.

00:32:20.060 I would pray that he softly and comfortably gets a landing.

00:32:25.800 Not a golden parachute, but a landing.

00:32:28.780 Justice, I think, is probably the best.

00:32:30.460 But it's definitely...

00:32:33.120 Some of the things I see, you know, you look at some of the...

00:32:36.260 If you've ever had anybody that you love, you care about,

00:32:38.980 that has had mental...

00:32:41.660 You know, there's memory issues and goes through what he's going through right now.

00:32:47.140 I just don't want to see anybody go through that.

00:32:49.120 But you also remember, the guy has the keys to the nuclear codes, right?

00:32:55.660 If this was your grandpa, you would take the keys from the Buick away.

00:32:59.600 You would have a tough conversation, and that needs to happen.

00:33:05.580 And if he stays as the nominee, chances are that will happen in 2024.

00:33:11.880 So, I guess that sort of goes along with what he was saying.

00:33:16.360 I want to get some more phone calls in here.

00:33:18.820 888-727-BECK.

00:33:20.500 The Black Swan event.

00:33:22.140 I wanted to save some of these predictions, at least to maybe the last day.

00:33:26.400 But I think I'll get a few more.

00:33:28.300 But there's also a piece of this.

00:33:30.780 No matter what you hear today,

00:33:32.700 no matter what you hear in the news,

00:33:35.840 there's a piece that I want to give you a little bit of good news,

00:33:39.900 a little bit of hope, a little bit of encouragement through it all.

00:33:43.180 One piece I want to add coming up after this.

00:33:46.800 Justin Barkley in today for Glenn on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:33:49.480 Back next.

00:33:50.700 Glenn Beck.

00:34:02.700 We'll see you next time.

00:34:32.700 what you're doing right, what you're doing wrong,

00:34:34.200 and how to correct the technique.

00:35:02.320 That's MantisX.com.

00:35:04.440 17, 17 on the FBI terror watch list caught attempting entry at the southern border.

00:35:18.940 Border Patrol officials in the month of November identified 17 individuals on the FBI's terror watch list attempting to illegally enter the United States.

00:35:28.260 outside an established port of entry on the southern border.

00:35:34.180 Those are the ones we know about.

00:35:37.540 We're at the highest terror threat level of all time.

00:35:41.340 You know, all these vulnerabilities, all these issues.

00:35:44.340 These are what folks are pointing to.

00:35:47.520 Let me just look at one of the aspects.

00:35:49.760 And we're getting hit from every single angle.

00:35:54.060 And this is Biden's America.

00:35:55.700 888-727-BECK, B-E-C-K, asking you, because Catherine Herridge from CBS defaced the nation on Sunday, said the Black Swan event is on the way in 2024.

00:36:08.660 This would be one that you didn't see coming.

00:36:10.440 But when you look back, it was inevitable.

00:36:14.040 COVID.

00:36:15.100 Somebody mentioned.

00:36:16.300 Well, that's kind of a kind of a good point.

00:36:24.140 Tim in Iowa is on the Glenn Beck program.

00:36:27.580 Hi, Tim.

00:36:28.100 Thanks for calling in.

00:36:29.440 Hi, Justin.

00:36:30.100 Thanks for taking my call.

00:36:31.900 You know, whenever people say that the Biden administration is incompetent or they don't know what they're doing, they know exactly what they're doing.

00:36:41.820 And they're just setting this up for the Black Swan event.

00:36:45.400 But it's going to be something big.

00:36:47.600 And once that happens, the old executive order, it can delay elections.

00:36:53.460 It can take over governments. 0.96

00:36:55.780 And it's just inevitable because the whole world seems to be burning right now.

00:37:01.960 You know, there used to be a time, Tim, what I would say to you, ah, Tim, no, they're not going to do it.

00:37:06.940 I wouldn't go that far.

00:37:07.780 You really think they would do that?

00:37:09.200 I would say that to you.

00:37:11.180 However, we have now entered a new era.

00:37:15.400 I think, grab the tinfoil hat, follow you down the rabbit hole.

00:37:22.180 And I got to say, like, I mean this.

00:37:25.580 And just all bets are off.

00:37:28.700 I don't, I can't even imagine.

00:37:30.380 There is no, and I think that's part of it, it's part of the toughest part of this, is watching there really, look at reality and you think, okay, all of these things are possible and there's nothing really at this point that I can say, no, that's off the table.

00:37:46.300 But as you point out, it does seem to be, at least to me, as I watch all these, I just can't imagine.

00:37:55.280 Maybe that's the toughest part.

00:37:56.340 Imagine that this would, any of this would be full incompetence.

00:38:00.260 It's too organized.

00:38:01.340 It's too well structured.

00:38:02.440 There's too many things happening.

00:38:03.800 At the same time, it does seem to me like we are watching the coordinated demise of this country and it's happening from the inside.

00:38:17.240 That's the hardest part about all of this.

00:38:21.580 But again, I don't know which one's worse.

00:38:23.580 Thank you, Tim.

00:38:24.040 I appreciate your phone call.

00:38:25.460 Now, this is, this is, this is, again, this is one of these things.

00:38:38.940 When I ask you, what do you think is coming in 2024?

00:38:42.940 I don't know that there's any wrong answer.

00:38:46.700 Anything is possible.

00:38:48.100 Anything can happen.

00:38:49.280 Norman in Washington on the Glenn Beck program.

00:38:53.220 Yeah.

00:38:53.620 What do you see coming?

00:38:55.460 Yeah, well, I'm going to tell you that, uh, that Congress is going to be, uh, uh, announcing, uh, that they've been, uh, keeping, uh, us in the dark about, uh, you know, like Roswell, uh, debris and, uh, no, it's, it's, it's, I don't mean to laugh at it.

00:39:16.480 Cause again, I, again, I'm not laughing.

00:39:18.560 I'm just saying like, I can't say no to that.

00:39:21.640 Hey, Norman, I'm up against the wall.

00:39:23.460 Thank you.

00:39:23.860 I appreciate your phone call.

00:39:25.200 Again, just, uh, just to illustrate it.

00:39:28.440 I don't think he's necessarily wrong.

00:39:31.200 Here's what I'm going to say.

00:39:32.860 People ask me all throughout 2020.

00:39:34.720 In fact, I wrote a book about it.

00:39:35.860 Good news.

00:39:36.400 Hope and encouragement for trying times.

00:39:38.500 I'll talk a little bit about this next hour, but I'm going to tell you this.

00:39:42.720 They ask me all the time.

00:39:43.980 What do you think is going to happen here?

00:39:45.460 What do you think is going to happen there?

00:39:46.680 I will tell you that.

00:39:47.280 What I always say.

00:39:48.840 Inedibly.

00:39:50.640 I don't know what's going to happen.

00:39:54.240 All I know is that God is still on the throne.

00:39:58.900 And so, folks, I will say, uh, like a friend of mine says, it hangs out in my chat on my radio program on a daily basis.

00:40:06.180 Prep hard.

00:40:08.200 Pray harder.

00:40:08.820 Good advice for these times.

00:40:15.580 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:40:19.700 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:40:22.260 Got no room to compromise.

00:40:51.140 What you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

00:41:16.460 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

00:41:21.140 You know, I gave you a solid dose of reality.

00:41:27.100 And maybe it was too hot.

00:41:31.060 Maybe it was too much in the first hour.

00:41:35.080 Justin Barkley in for Glenn Beck today.

00:41:36.800 I've got messages from people.

00:41:38.480 That is so depressing.

00:41:40.060 Happy New Year.

00:41:41.060 No, no, no.

00:41:42.480 Listen, I got good news.

00:41:44.500 Please don't miss it.

00:41:45.640 I got a heavy heaping dose of it.

00:41:47.900 In fact, coming up.

00:41:49.760 And don't miss the best news of it all.

00:41:52.260 Yes, we'll touch on the latest when President Trump kept on a ballot in Michigan.

00:41:57.240 That's breaking news today.

00:41:58.660 But I've got the best news of it all coming up.

00:42:03.560 A little encouraging and empowering for you.

00:42:07.180 Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:42:09.360 I'm back after this.

00:42:18.320 Your home is so much more than the place you live.

00:42:21.400 It's an investment tool as well.

00:42:23.080 And you can put that tool to use and access the equity that you have as cash to pay off those high interest credit cards.

00:42:30.140 Did you know the average credit card rate now is hovering around 25%?

00:42:32.900 Some people are paying in 30 plus every single month.

00:42:35.960 I mean, it's insane.

00:42:37.080 If you're not paying that debt off in full every month, those fees are adding up.

00:42:41.720 And you just can't let that happen.

00:42:43.280 Which is why you need to look at your spending, your financing, your debt.

00:42:46.780 Better yet, let American Financing do that for you.

00:42:49.360 This is a family-owned mortgage lender.

00:42:51.060 They're not a bank.

00:42:51.960 You're important to them.

00:42:52.880 There's no pressure, no upfront or hidden fees.

00:42:55.040 If you call them today, you might be able to close in as fast as 10 days and even delay two mortgage payments.

00:43:00.700 They're saving homeowners just like you an average of $826 a month.

00:43:04.980 That could be life-changing.

00:43:06.360 So call today, 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440, AmericanFinancing.net.

00:43:12.720 American Financing, NMLS, 1-82334, www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org.

00:43:23.280 So I've got to make sure, I've got to do some cleanup here.

00:43:26.000 But I want to make sure that I'm not misunderstood here.

00:43:32.100 I want to make sure that I get my point across.

00:43:36.280 Look, I am not a pessimist.

00:43:46.660 Now, I'm not a Pollyanna kind of optimist either.

00:43:49.620 I'm a realist, and I want to look at, and I believe the best way that we ought to do this is we ought to look at reality.

00:43:58.500 We ought to have a sobering dose of it on a daily basis, right, to know exactly what we're up against.

00:44:06.440 But here's the difference.

00:44:09.860 This is the turn that I make.

00:44:11.920 And by the way, I think my faith plays a huge role in this.

00:44:14.760 It's Justin Barkley in today for the Glenn Beck Program.

00:44:21.160 And like many of you, look, I just celebrated Christmas with my little girls.

00:44:26.620 I've got two little girls.

00:44:28.100 They are absolutely, they're my whole world.

00:44:32.780 My oldest just turned three.

00:44:35.140 The youngest just turned one.

00:44:37.100 And you can imagine it's quite a time.

00:44:38.940 And this Christmas was like, well, they're finally, the three-year-old finally kind of at a point where she can really understand it all.

00:44:47.840 And it was just really fun.

00:44:50.020 All the magic of it, of course.

00:44:51.920 As a dad, I've kind of, I've gone through, you know, like many of you have probably gone through so many of the different things of the last few years and thinking about the kids.

00:45:08.600 And what do you, what do you tell your kids about this?

00:45:12.160 What do you tell your kids about that?

00:45:14.200 And how do you deal with some of these things?

00:45:17.020 And I think as they get older and older, I'm going to get, I'm probably going to have to deal with some of that a little bit, a little bit closer.

00:45:27.240 But, you know, there's still pretty, you know, obviously at three, very innocent.

00:45:32.800 And, you know, I, while I do think about things and while I do deal with reality, I have to kind of shield them from it.

00:45:43.980 But there's a reason why I do what I do.

00:45:46.220 There's a reason why I fight.

00:45:48.820 There's a reason why I continue to share these stories in the news that matters most.

00:45:54.340 It's because of them.

00:45:56.200 They are, in a lot of ways, my inspiration.

00:46:01.800 They are my reason for getting up and doing what I do on a daily basis.

00:46:07.400 Staring at the stories.

00:46:08.440 By the way, I've had the last few days off and it's been glorious.

00:46:12.540 I'd just not say I don't see things and I'm not checking in, but I probably am not as plugged in as I always am.

00:46:19.780 I've learned a few things over the last few days and I've been reminded of a few things as well.

00:46:27.380 But one of them is that no matter how bad it seems, no matter your circumstances, no matter what you're facing and what you are up against, there is always hope.

00:46:43.760 You know, you talk about a red pill, you talk about blue pill, and then there's black pill.

00:46:49.760 I don't know if you are familiar.

00:46:51.040 Remember, you might actually fall into one of those scenarios.

00:46:56.100 And that's why I'm probably a red pill, a little more red pill every day, trying to wake up to what we're dealing with and dealing with it on a daily basis.

00:47:06.560 But I want to warn you, and I have to guard myself from this too, never let yourself get too black-pilled. 0.99

00:47:15.460 And what does that mean?

00:47:16.340 Too completely skeptical and too pessimistic that it's all over.

00:47:23.520 There's nothing we can do.

00:47:25.620 I think part of what we're being bombarded with on a daily basis, I often say on my program, it's like drinking from a fire hose.

00:47:34.560 There's never a dull moment.

00:47:36.040 It's story after story after story.

00:47:37.740 In fact, I remember a time, the fact the first time I filled in for Glenn back in 2019, but doing other shows and during the holidays, filling in for people, et cetera, through the years.

00:47:48.840 I remember a time, Lee, this was the slowest part of the year, and it slowed down a little bit here and there.

00:47:56.360 But I'll tell you, I mean, you really had to dig to find things to talk about.

00:48:01.000 Not so anymore.

00:48:02.660 There are constantly news updates, headlines, and things that really matter coming at us on a daily basis.

00:48:09.180 That could be wearing.

00:48:09.940 And I believe that some of that is the intention, is to wear us down.

00:48:17.400 I don't need to preach at you.

00:48:18.780 I don't want to get up on the soapbox, you know, all the time.

00:48:21.480 But I want to tell you that this is the thing that has given me the most hope through it all, is no matter what I face, no matter what the headlines are, I know the truth.

00:48:32.300 You know, I had a conversation with Glenn about this a while back, and we were talking about his new book, and he came on the new radio show that we just launched, a morning show in the Detroit area.

00:48:46.860 In fact, this is great news for Detroit and for the state of Michigan.

00:48:51.440 It is a new radio station, 9, 10 a.m., Detroit's News Talk Superstation, and it has taken ground like you wouldn't believe.

00:49:00.900 These folks who put this thing on have worked so hard behind the scenes to bring this type of programming, the Glenn Beck Program, my morning show, and all the great radio programs that you hear throughout the day to an area that largely for a long time just has not had any sort of real, true, conservative talk radio.

00:49:25.520 Can you imagine a market that size?

00:49:27.460 I just, and many would have probably given up on it and said, yeah, heck with it.

00:49:37.720 There's nothing we could do.

00:49:38.920 There's nothing you're going to be able to do.

00:49:40.300 You're not going to be able to turn the tide there.

00:49:41.680 But you know, it's a funny thing.

00:49:42.840 When you start giving people the truth, it starts resonating.

00:49:46.840 I don't care if they vote a Democrat.

00:49:48.200 By the way, you're seeing a lot of that happen right now.

00:49:50.220 You're seeing a blexit happen, a lexit, a black, a Latino, a Hispanic, what are you seeing? 1.00

00:49:57.460 A lot of it because they're being confronted with the reality right now, particularly not very happy with Biden, not very happy with Democrats at all.

00:50:06.000 And you're seeing so many of these people speak out about it, particularly in places like Chicago, where they are now seeing the people that have come across the border take over.

00:50:17.060 And they're becoming overwhelmed.

00:50:19.580 They're overwhelming the social safety nets.

00:50:21.680 They're overwhelming the things, the system that they were taking advantage of.

00:50:24.580 Many of these people saying, you're not really concerned about taking care of us.

00:50:30.140 We want this stopped.

00:50:31.740 And the left and the Democrats, the machinery is, it's in peril.

00:50:36.880 It is collapsing.

00:50:38.240 It is falling in on itself right now because it can't handle all of the strain of this.

00:50:43.600 There are people waking up on a daily basis.

00:50:49.140 So that's good news.

00:50:50.640 A place like Detroit getting this programming, 9, 10 a.m.

00:50:55.100 And if you ever want to tune in, you can, 910amsuperstation.com.

00:50:59.660 They're on the web there.

00:51:02.580 You can listen live.

00:51:03.260 Listen local if you'd like as well.

00:51:04.900 But I'm just telling you this to tell you that there's nothing that is ever hopeless.

00:51:09.240 There is nothing that is ever helpless.

00:51:10.840 But when I talked to Glenn that day, when he came on to talk about his book and the new radio station and et cetera and what it meant.

00:51:17.800 And I told him, I said, you know, I got to tell you, oftentimes I look at these headlines just like you.

00:51:22.620 I look and I just don't see the way out.

00:51:25.200 I don't personally see how we turn this thing around.

00:51:31.420 Now that doesn't stop me from not trying.

00:51:36.740 I want to say I just feel like outside of some sort of divine intervention.

00:51:46.280 I just don't see it happening.

00:51:48.160 And Glenn lit up.

00:51:53.060 He lit up.

00:51:57.380 Because that's not impossible.

00:52:04.760 In fact, it's not impractical.

00:52:08.580 It has happened time and time and time again and again and again in this country and the nation's history.

00:52:15.360 And that's partly why Glenn went on to set aside and assign that new covenant.

00:52:24.960 There are good people who are standing up.

00:52:28.540 And I'm telling you, you don't have to do everything.

00:52:31.440 But you just have to do something.

00:52:36.540 And that something is your thing.

00:52:39.040 It is whatever it is that you are called to do.

00:52:42.640 We each have an assignment.

00:52:43.740 We each have a mission.

00:52:44.600 We each have a role that we're meant to play.

00:52:49.820 And I have seen more hope.

00:52:51.960 Yes, I've seen a lot of craziness.

00:52:54.080 I've seen chaos.

00:52:54.820 I've seen wackadoodle insanity so much more than I've ever seen in my entire life over the last.

00:53:00.940 But you know what makes that happen?

00:53:02.300 The amazing thing is that when you're constantly being bombarded with that, the miracles, the moments that transcend it all.

00:53:15.220 Boy, they just stand out.

00:53:17.240 They are a bright and shining light.

00:53:19.900 In fact, that's what this nation and its history is to the rest of the world.

00:53:23.040 Well, I am still hopeful because I know, again, like I said at the end of the last hour, no matter what happens, no matter what the circumstances, I know that God is still on the throne.

00:53:34.560 Now, this nation's history proves, I mean, there are many, many times when it seemed like all was lost.

00:53:50.580 But it seemed like it was the end that we experienced, well, moments that could only be attributed to the miraculous higher power, a divine intervention.

00:54:14.980 And I am hopeful based, by the way, this is, this is not Pollyanna, pie in the sky, but this is based on past performance, past experiences.

00:54:29.020 In fact, I've seen it in my own life, but we've seen it in this nation's history as well.

00:54:38.820 I am hopeful.

00:54:43.320 And that's why I engage.

00:54:44.740 That's why I continue to fight today.

00:54:47.780 I'll tell you how you can do that.

00:54:49.500 And maybe a story or two from some people who've been doing that and how it works.

00:54:56.200 Yes, it is absolutely incredible when it does.

00:55:00.160 Never lose sight of it.

00:55:02.320 So while we're giving you the news, while we're telling you what's happening, not like a, you don't want to stick your head in the sand like an ostrich.

00:55:09.740 We want to keep you up to date with it all.

00:55:12.180 While we're doing it, we want to give you a heavy dose of truth.

00:55:15.100 And that's my goal as always as well.

00:55:17.140 So I had to, sorry, I had to clean some, I hope that makes a little bit of sense.

00:55:21.200 I had to clean some of this up for you.

00:55:23.140 I will continue coming up next, and of course, love to hear from you too on the Glenn Beck Program.

00:55:28.240 It's 888-727-BECK, 888-727-BECK.

00:56:54.700 I'm everywhere at Mr. Justin Barkley.

00:56:57.180 That's X and Facebook and Instagram and all of those different places at JustinBarkley.com.

00:57:02.300 But I want to make sure that I give you a full heaping helping of truth while I'm giving you the stories of the day.

00:57:17.460 That's always been my goal.

00:57:19.520 In fact, I want to tell you, it was never my plan to do what it is exactly that I'm doing today.

00:57:28.080 Anyway, I've been doing this radio thing.

00:57:33.320 I've been working in or on the radio since I was in high school, since I was a kid.

00:57:39.440 And I've been blessed to be able to do that all this time.

00:57:45.180 But I was doing things kind of like Glenn was at one point.

00:57:49.900 Morning, wacky morning radio shows and working for, you know, rock stations and pop music and all this stuff.

00:57:58.100 Playing a lot of music and talking and doing those kinds.

00:58:01.340 Never talking about any of the things that we're discussing today.

00:58:05.500 It wasn't really, I don't want to say interesting.

00:58:09.940 It just never really lit my fire.

00:58:12.960 I, you know, I was aware of things, but I just never really loved to talk about it.

00:58:22.840 Now, in the last couple of years, I think it had been a wake-up call for all of us.

00:58:26.140 And, in fact, certainly for me, one of the things we went through in the middle of all the insanity,

00:58:34.240 in the middle of all the craziness, you know, the story,

00:58:36.380 but it is a story of our firstborn who was a Christmas miracle.

00:58:43.220 In fact, Glenn asked this very audience, who I am indebted to beyond words,

00:58:50.060 to pray for her when she was born at 27 weeks.

00:58:54.960 About three months early, she was a Christmas miracle.

00:58:59.260 Two pounds, six ounces.

00:59:00.680 But the doctors came to us and gave us all of the worst possible worst case scenarios

00:59:09.280 of what could and may would happen to prepare us.

00:59:17.140 But I just refuse to believe that there would be any bad situation.

00:59:27.080 And my wife's water broke, three o'clock in the morning.

00:59:36.240 We raced to the hospital and they told us before, when we got on the phone,

00:59:44.040 pack a bag, you're going to be here for a while.

00:59:45.680 We thought we would just be there waiting it out.

00:59:48.900 Five days later, she was born.

00:59:50.380 And as I said, she was just a little peanut, just a nugget. 0.72

00:59:56.480 Beautiful.

01:00:06.420 I cannot tell you everything that I was going through at the time.

01:00:09.720 I cannot tell you everything I was experiencing.

01:00:14.000 I think it's impossible to put it in words, even though that's what I do for a living.

01:00:18.260 I think it's impossible to do it.

01:00:19.440 All I can tell you is that through it all, my wife and I, we felt God's hand through it all.

01:00:29.460 I don't know how we made it through it.

01:00:33.360 And without him, I don't think we would have.

01:00:35.000 And I think that's where we find ourselves in this nation right now.

01:00:43.240 A lot of us going through similar struggles, things that you're having to deal with and handle in your personal life,

01:00:48.900 but we're also dealing with everything that we're dealing with on a daily basis here in the news cycle.

01:00:56.160 It is important now more than ever before to know what's happening, to know what we face.

01:01:00.300 Like the doctors had to tell us, here's what could happen, here's what to prepare for,

01:01:05.260 but to know that even though those things are possible and improbable,

01:01:14.500 that there was someone else who had a say in it all.

01:01:18.980 And the faith part was walking it out, just like we must do today,

01:01:23.820 to know that you and I, each of us have a role to play.

01:01:27.200 I've seen it.

01:01:27.800 Real life, everyday people getting involved in their own backyards.

01:01:32.540 Forget about what's happening in D.C. or the capital of your state.

01:01:36.180 What's happening in your own backyard, in fact, what's happening in your own home matters even more.

01:01:41.880 Each of us has a role to play.

01:01:43.940 We must prepare like it all depends on us.

01:01:48.780 Pray like it all depends on God.

01:01:51.740 And lean into it.

01:01:53.780 And that's when I think we're going to get the best answers.

01:01:58.380 In fact, I believe we'll get that divine intervention.

01:02:03.660 So that is the good news.

01:02:05.440 In fact, I want to prepare you in some more ways.

01:02:08.580 What do we face?

01:02:09.660 What's the root of all of this?

01:02:11.800 We'll break it down for you.

01:02:12.780 Coming up on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:02:13.900 If you want to improve your shooting accuracy, you need a Mantis X.

01:03:15.820 That's MantisX.com.

01:03:18.300 As the mainstream media perpetuates the left's insanity, we're helping you fight back one truth at a time.

01:03:24.540 More Glenn Beck next.

01:03:35.000 Now, all of this seems a little too coincidental.

01:03:43.920 Is it all incompetence or is it a little something more?

01:03:47.360 Is it intentional?

01:03:48.460 That's some of the questions of what we face on the Daily Base.

01:03:52.060 We have the border wide open.

01:03:53.620 The massive migrant caravan headed our way.

01:03:55.940 Up to 15,000 people, they say, in the next coming days.

01:03:59.660 Because 730,000 have come across the border, at least they know of, since October alone.

01:04:06.920 17 in the last month.

01:04:08.920 17 encountered were on the terror watch list.

01:04:12.400 Those are the ones, again, that they know of.

01:04:14.600 This is just one aspect of a country, nation in decline.

01:04:20.960 And again, it seems like it is.

01:04:25.140 It is on purpose.

01:04:27.640 And maybe it is.

01:04:29.100 In fact, I want to talk a little bit about some of the biggest issues of the things that we're facing daily basis and why.

01:04:36.240 In fact, I've been watching what's happening ever since October 7th in Israel and, of course, throughout the world.

01:04:45.160 As you see, it's just a crazy amount of young people whose brains have completely been turned to mush because they've been attending these colleges where they are pushing one thing or the other on them.

01:04:59.360 But in essence, it's Marxism.

01:05:02.480 And they are all in.

01:05:04.060 And everything I've been watching playing out in their case they've been making against Israel has all come down to this narrative of oppressed versus oppressor.

01:05:13.500 And to me, that is at the core of what the Marxists teach and what Karl Marx is all about.

01:05:20.860 Here to shine some light on it.

01:05:22.180 In fact, I thought it would be great for all of us to get a little bit of a refresher.

01:05:25.060 Jim Simpson, the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

01:05:28.520 The Men, the Motives, and the Menace behind today's rampaging American left and the upcoming book he's written on the way, Manufactured Crisis, The Left's Unrestricted War Against America.

01:05:39.020 Jim, appreciate you joining us today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:05:42.220 Hey, Justin.

01:05:43.200 Great to be with you.

01:05:44.120 Thanks for having me.

01:05:45.400 Merry Christmas.

01:05:46.700 Merry Christmas.

01:05:47.720 Well, we can still say it.

01:05:50.660 It's not a thought crime yet.

01:05:53.420 Hey, what about this, though?

01:05:54.860 Because I think it's all tied in.

01:05:56.300 Look, first of all, we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

01:06:00.180 I know there's a spiritual aspect to this.

01:06:01.820 In fact, I think there's quite a bit of evil involved with Karl Marx and his ideologies as well.

01:06:07.560 But have you noticed there are a number of stories this year about satanic altars at state capitals?

01:06:14.520 And while we're on the topic of Merry Christmas, you know, that is just wild to me.

01:06:19.560 I saw there was one in Iowa.

01:06:20.880 In fact, we have one here in Michigan as well.

01:06:25.840 But this is by no mistake, is it?

01:06:29.600 Yeah, no.

01:06:30.520 You know, well, I think there's a number of things going on.

01:06:34.820 First of all, the entire leftist movement is satanic, and the agendas they are pushing are literally demonic.

01:06:48.580 They are literally out to destroy our country, and they don't care who perishes in the process. 0.78

01:06:57.840 They rejoice on our decline.

01:07:01.440 They rejoice on our various crises, most of which they instigate on purpose.

01:07:13.000 And so there's this satanic aspect to all of these things showing up.

01:07:22.960 But it's also a provocation.

01:07:25.180 You know, it's also part of the whole movement to eradicate the idea of Christianity and morality from our society and culture and put up signposts for what is going on.

01:07:45.020 And it just distresses people more.

01:07:48.480 When you see, you know, satanic rituals and the idea of child sacrifice that supposedly sometimes happens in certain places.

01:08:00.420 And then you look at the reality of what's happening on the border, where our government is literally allowing, not only allowing, but enabling child trafficking.

01:08:17.680 It's beyond description.

01:08:21.480 Yeah.

01:08:21.580 There is beyond description.

01:08:24.980 Jim Simpson with us right now, talking about really the root of all this.

01:08:29.620 There's an evil side of this, but the Marxism, Karl Marx, a book that you've written about this.

01:08:34.600 All of the division, all the chaos, all the things you're watching play out, the culture war stuff, but even more so like the border wide open and all these things.

01:08:43.720 It all goes back, and I mentioned earlier, the issue with Israel as well and the way the kids now are saying, oh, no, we from the river to the sea.

01:08:51.980 You know, they're chanting, oh, they have no idea what any of this means.

01:08:55.260 But they only see things through the lens of oppressed versus oppressor.

01:08:58.620 That's that narrative.

01:09:00.240 And that's kind of the root of that Marxism, isn't it?

01:09:04.400 Oh, yeah.

01:09:04.920 No, absolutely.

01:09:06.500 The oppressed versus the oppressor.

01:09:08.720 The capitalists versus the communists and the evil capitalism and oppressive capitalism, racist capitalism.

01:09:20.440 You know, it's all these bad things.

01:09:23.780 And it's all designed to basically it's a it's a divide and conquer strategy.

01:09:31.880 It's all it's ever been.

01:09:34.460 And it's that strategy is old as the hills.

01:09:37.300 It's just put into different words and different formulas.

01:09:43.400 Can you give us some background on Karl Marx and maybe why he came up with these this ideology and why we're seeing it play out today?

01:09:52.560 Like what what what is the root of all of this?

01:09:54.820 Where does it really come from?

01:09:57.260 Well, I honestly do believe that the root of it is satanic.

01:10:01.080 I really do believe that.

01:10:02.640 And I say so in that book.

01:10:04.240 But Karl Marx, interestingly, you know, he was raised as a Christian and in high school he wrote beautiful Christian poetry, even though his family was, you know, Jewish historically.

01:10:19.220 His father converted to Christianity because Jews weren't unable to practice law in Lutheran Germany at the time.

01:10:29.400 So as a practical matter, just about the time Marx was born, he converted to Christianity and he raised Marx as a Christian.

01:10:38.400 And Marx wrote beautiful Christian poetry in high school.

01:10:41.000 But then he went off to college.

01:10:44.180 And what happened in college?

01:10:46.200 And he fell in with a bad crowd.

01:10:50.200 And, you know, the thing is, he came from a very wealthy family.

01:10:55.340 And if you look at any of the prominent Marxists from the Castro brothers to the Kims in North Korea to Saddam Hussein to any of these people, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, they're all children of wealth.

01:11:16.380 And, you know, that doesn't necessarily have to be bad, but a lot of children of wealth, if you will notice, have a tendency to think they're entitled, to think they're better than everybody else, to think they have the answers to everything.

01:11:34.520 And they are extremely proud.

01:11:39.180 And that was Marx.

01:11:40.980 And he supposedly fell in with a bad crowd, some even say a satanic crowd, Richard Wurmbrand, who was a Catholic priest tortured by the Eastern European government where he lived.

01:11:58.380 He founded Voice of the Martyrs.

01:12:01.260 He's dead now, but he also wrote the book Marx and Satan, where he talks about Marx falling in with a satanic group.

01:12:11.140 And, you know, whatever else you might say, Marx fell in with a group that was very radical.

01:12:22.100 And Marx began parroting the communist line.

01:12:26.260 He didn't come up with communism.

01:12:27.700 There had already been communes in Paris, but he was perhaps its best salesman.

01:12:34.620 And he and his cohort, Friedrich Engels, wrote the Communist Manifesto in 1948. 0.98

01:12:44.020 But Marx himself was a greedy, selfish, parasitic slob. 0.98

01:12:49.240 He never bathed. 1.00

01:12:50.860 His mother bugged him weakly to wash his clothes.

01:12:54.080 He impregnated his maid and then blamed Friedrich Engels for it.

01:13:05.760 And Engels raised the child as his own and didn't admit it was Marx's until he was on his deathbed.

01:13:14.680 Marx had two children commit suicide and a son-in-law.

01:13:20.740 He had three children die of malnutrition.

01:13:24.420 And while his wife was running around looking for a coffin for one of their kids, Marx spent money to employ what a writer called a loudish, libidinous, and otherwise useless secretary, because he felt like a man of his stature had to keep up appearances. 0.97

01:13:42.940 He was a total fraud.

01:13:44.580 He spied on his communist friends for the German government. 0.93

01:13:49.820 He, before he became a communist, he said, we can answer communism with one thing out of the barrel of a cannon. 0.98

01:13:59.540 So he was nuts. 1.00

01:14:02.540 He was nuts. 1.00

01:14:03.960 And he was extremely proud. 1.00

01:14:06.740 Extremely angry.

01:14:10.080 And he was basically the archetype of the kind of person that he claimed to hate.

01:14:20.380 Jim Simpson is with us right now.

01:14:22.260 He's the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

01:14:23.820 The reason I bring this up, and we had this conversation about the book, and really the root of all of this, is that I think in order to be able to fight back effectively, you've got to really understand what you're up against, what we're facing.

01:14:39.500 And, Jim, we've got to take a break here, but I want to come back, because, again, we've been dealing with some very serious times, we're dealing with some very serious issues, but no matter how bad and how hopeless and helpless it may feel, I don't believe that's ever the case.

01:14:53.840 I do believe that we still have an opportunity.

01:14:58.180 In fact, one of those opportunities to fight back, we must do that right now, not only in our own lives, but also very publicly as well.

01:15:07.640 How can we empower future generations into the same?

01:15:10.380 Because this thing's not going anywhere.

01:15:12.300 It seems like it's festering.

01:15:13.860 How can we fight back?

01:15:15.680 Jim, I want to get some solutions from you, and we continue right after this.

01:15:19.420 It's Justin Barkley today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:16:54.080 But Jim Simpson is on with us.

01:16:56.080 He's the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

01:16:58.140 And the root of a lot of things that we're facing today is just Marxism.

01:17:02.220 The question is, how do you deal with this, really?

01:17:05.000 You have to know exactly what you're facing.

01:17:06.680 I recommend pick up this book.

01:17:07.860 But not only that, Jim, I wanted to ask you, what are the solutions here?

01:17:11.680 What do we need to know?

01:17:12.660 How can we fight this in our own lives and as a country?

01:17:16.820 Yeah.

01:17:17.100 Well, if you don't mind, I'll make a quick plug for my book.

01:17:23.160 Glenn himself said that book should be in every household in America after he read it.

01:17:30.280 And the longest chapter is devoted to solutions to all the problems we face.

01:17:38.880 And, you know, there are no easy solutions.

01:17:42.040 You know, I've spoken all over the country.

01:17:44.600 People say, answer, a simple answer.

01:17:48.780 Take a pill, you know.

01:17:51.260 Go to the store.

01:17:52.580 Buy something.

01:17:53.700 They want a simple...

01:17:54.820 There are no simple answers.

01:17:58.040 This is a...

01:17:58.880 This is...

01:17:59.460 We are in a fight.

01:18:00.700 This is World War III, and we are in a fight for the future, well, for the existence of our country.

01:18:09.460 And I don't think that's an overstatement, the existence of our country.

01:18:13.980 You know, I wrote two books.

01:18:16.520 One was both the Red-Green Axis, both of them about immigration and refugee resettlement. 0.96

01:18:24.580 And, you know, the first one was called the Red-Green Axis, the agenda to erase America. 0.98

01:18:33.440 Refugees, immigration, and the agenda to erase America. 1.00

01:18:37.280 Because that's really what it is.

01:18:39.180 They want to bring in so many people from so many parts of the world that our culture, our society, our understanding, our constitutional form of government just basically disappears. 1.00

01:18:50.640 And it becomes a nation of people who will all vote Democrat because they know which side of the bread is getting buttered.

01:19:01.640 And so that's all...

01:19:04.840 Well, that's part of what that's about.

01:19:06.640 And it's all about creating chaos and crisis after crisis, overwhelming us with various crises.

01:19:14.660 And as you know, I wrote extensively on the collaborative and strategy of manufacturing prices, and that's the basis for my upcoming book.

01:19:23.300 But we need to basically create a parallel society that works.

01:19:30.880 And, you know, as a governor, Ron DeSantis demonstrated that in Florida by having sane policies.

01:19:39.060 And everybody in the world started flooding to Florida, you know, and other states, other Republican states have done the same thing.

01:19:49.660 Hey, Jim, I've got it.

01:19:51.360 We're up against the clock here.

01:19:52.660 Let me just ask, where can people follow you or find out more?

01:19:55.600 Because they know they're going to want to get the book.

01:19:56.980 Jim Simpson, who was Karl Marx?

01:20:00.160 Go to crisisnow.net.

01:20:03.900 Crisisnow.net.

01:20:05.140 That has my archives of articles that I've written since 2005.

01:20:10.900 And there are some recent ones from Capital Research Center that I put up on the great global warming heist and others.

01:20:20.140 But, yeah, crisisnow.net.

01:20:22.580 We make sure that we'll get that up on the show notes page over at justinbarkley.com and a stack as well if you want to check it all out.

01:20:30.700 Always a pleasure.

01:20:31.420 Thank you, Jim Simpson, the author of Who Was Karl Marx?

01:20:34.540 More coming up next hour.

01:20:36.380 Tackling the tough topics of the day with solutions you can use.

01:20:41.940 Barkley, in for Glenn Beck today.

01:20:43.700 This is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:20:45.980 We'll be right back.

01:21:15.980 We'll be right back.

01:21:45.980 We'll be right back.

01:22:15.960 This is interesting.

01:22:17.200 When you turn it all off, one thing that I thought worth mentioning, because you might enjoy this too, a warning, but some good news after this.

01:22:29.380 This is Justin Barkley, and for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.

01:22:31.620 Stand up!

01:22:33.620 Your car is like an extension of you, am I right?

01:22:41.960 It goes wherever you go, from work to the gym, picking up the kids, dining out, visiting grandma.

01:22:46.820 So when your car breaks down, it's kind of like you're breaking down.

01:22:50.300 At least you will from the cost of fixing it.

01:23:38.680 Hello, the stories that matter most today in the Glenn Beck program.

01:23:50.220 Justin Barclay in for Glenn today, and I've been spending some time with family and a little time off,

01:23:56.300 and for the honor, the pleasure, the privilege of getting a chance to spend some time with you today in the next couple of days,

01:24:04.340 as Glenn continues, prepares to come back next week.

01:24:07.180 But I got to tell you, there's something that happens when you go into a shutdown.

01:24:19.620 I haven't had like a, I want to say real time off vacation, whatever you want to call it.

01:24:25.400 I haven't had one in a while, years maybe, and got a chance to really kind of shut it all off and do that,

01:24:34.400 spend some time with family, getting ready for a trip and all that, and I, you know,

01:24:39.200 I got the two little girls, three and one, and anytime you pack the kids up, it is like,

01:24:46.000 man, the older I get, I can tell you, I feel like, I just saw a meme that said this to Chevy Chase,

01:24:50.920 maybe he wasn't really all that off in the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation scene where he goes nuts with a chainsaw.

01:25:00.480 Maybe he wasn't really all that far off.

01:25:05.080 You know, as a dad, you start to kind of, you start to settle into some of those moments.

01:25:10.380 We're going to pack the kids in a van and drive across the country and, and that in itself is a whole ordeal.

01:25:17.280 But I, it took the car to get it washed and then I've got to do the inside and out because as you know,

01:25:22.120 when, when you have kids and especially in this age, they have like five, 10 pounds of crumbs and junk and who knows what

01:25:33.520 inside their car seats at all time and you get all that vacuumed out and cleaned up and, and I, I pull the car in

01:25:42.620 and then this is one of the, you, you go inside and wait for it. So I go into the waiting room and I sit down

01:25:50.300 and what I noticed kind of blew me away.

01:25:57.320 Now I'm kind of like maybe you in some ways where I like to, I'm on my phone quite a bit.

01:26:03.700 I mean, it's constantly in my hand, um, probably too much than it, too much than it should be.

01:26:10.460 And, and I'm looking at headlines because you kind of always have to stay plugged in the work that I do.

01:26:18.220 I always have to look and see and everything. I don't, I don't always have to be on top of every single breaking piece of information,

01:26:23.920 but I kind of do need to know. And this day, because I was off, I just had the freedom where I could take the leash off

01:26:32.280 for a moment and thought, okay, I'm going to put that down for a bit. So I put my phone down and it's in my pocket.

01:26:40.460 And I settled into my seat

01:26:44.860 in the waiting room of this car wash and what took about 15 minutes, maybe a little bit more

01:26:53.240 for the car to come through in that line. I sat there

01:26:57.940 with my phone in my pocket intentionally, which is crazy in itself, but I sat there with my phone

01:27:06.020 in my pocket

01:27:06.820 and

01:27:10.060 I had a really strange thought come over me

01:27:15.820 as I looked around the rest of the waiting room, there were about two, three other people inside

01:27:26.100 and they were doing the same thing. I was waiting for their car to come through and

01:27:34.880 doing what I probably would have been doing had I had my phone

01:27:38.720 out of my pocket in my hand, scrolling, texting, typing, beeping, tapping, whatever it was, I'm sure

01:27:45.660 it was very important.

01:27:47.160 And I just had to thought to myself, this is part of our problem.

01:27:59.560 This is part of our, our illness

01:28:03.660 in America, in the modern world. Now I'm not saying cell phones are a bad thing. Phones are bad

01:28:13.100 all together. I'm not saying technology bad. What I would like to do sometimes is I would like to go

01:28:19.780 live, take the family and, and go live in a cabin in the mineral woods somewhere off grid, just turn

01:28:26.440 it all off. There are times I have that fantasy, but I'm not, you know, I'm not trying to tell you

01:28:30.500 like, look, the more time we get between then and now, like the Unabomber, I get to go back and look 0.83

01:28:37.360 at his ideal on technology. Maybe he had a couple of things, right? No, no, certainly a lot of things he

01:28:42.640 didn't have, but, you know, I started to think, wow, isn't this something? Look at the hold that

01:28:49.000 technology has and I've allowed it. We've allowed it. Sitting in the lobby of that car wash without a

01:29:00.720 phone in my hand, I couldn't help but notice how out of place I felt.

01:29:08.200 My phone in my pocket and I'm the only one. Everyone else is typing and scrolling feverishly,

01:29:20.080 almost like it's their job. And I thought to myself,

01:29:23.560 maybe, maybe that's kind of what we've been programmed to do.

01:29:31.680 I'm just sitting there quietly, but I'm wondering like, what would this have looked like 20 years

01:29:40.200 ago? 30. What would have looked like if we went back to that same room? And the reason I started

01:29:51.460 thinking about it is the car wash a little dated. It's been there for ages and the inside look dated.

01:29:58.460 I thought I was transported back to what that would have been 20 years ago. You know what would

01:30:02.960 have been different about the whole scene?

01:30:08.760 We would have been having conversations with each other.

01:30:11.200 I don't know. The weather, our kids, are you got all your Christmas shopping done? You know,

01:30:19.880 the small talk, the little things that really don't mean much, but at the end of the day,

01:30:25.660 they are everything. It is our way of just relating to one another on a very basic human level. And it is

01:30:34.780 one that we lose on social media. Now there are times that you get to have great conversations.

01:30:43.260 There are times where you get to see some really amazing things. In fact, I got one of them I'm

01:30:50.140 going to share with you coming up in a little bit, just to prove that social media technology and

01:30:55.300 you know, it's not all bad. But I got to tell you, I just didn't, I couldn't let this moment slide.

01:31:15.460 Because I, I, I was made aware immediately of what I have allowed to happen in my life. Now you,

01:31:27.920 some of you are probably thinking that you're listening to this. Well, I don't have a phone

01:31:30.760 or I don't listen. I get, I don't need a phone. And I, well, this is the problem. You know, you're,

01:31:34.660 well, maybe you're ahead of this and you're better off for it. But even if you have a phone and you

01:31:39.300 depend on it because you have to stay in constant contact, your work, whatever it might be,

01:31:43.420 I don't know. Maybe there's something that you and I can take away from this, maybe in your

01:31:48.140 personal life, but even maybe bigger picture, the societal level of what we're looking at on a

01:31:52.880 daily basis. Why are we constantly at each other? Because that's the way they want it.

01:32:02.540 You and I are every single day from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to bed, we are at

01:32:09.060 each other's throats because that's by design. You heard Jim Simpson mentioned it last hour.

01:32:16.180 If you're listening, the author of who was Karl Marx and part of the tactic, the strategy to take

01:32:20.780 this country down is divide and conquer. And it's a strategy as old as time. As he mentioned,

01:32:27.780 that's exactly what's happening on the daily basis. We're constantly being pitted against each other.

01:32:33.100 Now I will stand up and I will call evil evil and I will speak out, but I will also be the

01:32:47.940 first one to tell you that your enemy is not your neighbor. Chances are that's not the case.

01:33:00.560 Even as Americans, I know we tend to see each other's left and right, Republicans, Democrats,

01:33:06.580 all these different categories. They've got us all divided and split up into in this tribal way of

01:33:11.420 thinking, because that's how you maintain control over a society that increasingly through things

01:33:20.160 like technology, phone, communication, etc. have the ability now more than ever to stand up, to fight

01:33:26.360 back, to take back their freedom, their country, their lives in ways that they never had before.

01:33:34.420 I look at technology, my phone, I look at it as a tool, just like I do anything else. It's like fire.

01:33:41.120 It's like firearms.

01:33:45.740 It has amazing power.

01:33:47.140 I think it was Edison who said of electricity, you can either cook your meal or cook the man.

01:33:56.120 It's something that we have to be aware of. We have to have a, I think, a sober and strong

01:34:02.920 respect for.

01:34:05.020 But, you know, as I sat in that car wash waiting room in the lobby, I noticed a guy next to me

01:34:11.860 starting to put his phone away because he saw his car rolling up. So that was his cue.

01:34:16.140 He could put it down. It was his chance there on the phone to escape, to go someplace else,

01:34:20.280 to think of something else, to do something else, to not have to be confronted with reality and

01:34:24.200 have that small talk with the person next to him.

01:34:28.000 Even the girl at the front of the desk, they're tapping and flipping and who knows what she was doing.

01:34:33.360 She only put her phone down for a moment just to answer the old-fashioned wired model that

01:34:41.400 was right on the desk when a customer rang with a question.

01:34:47.380 Even as I gazed out the window to the fishbowl, the wash bay, the two guys waiting to dry their

01:34:52.340 cars right out in front, they were there with towels as the car's hold truth.

01:34:56.200 Even one of them leaning up against the wall, propped up and pecking away.

01:35:03.360 Then, a faint hint of some sort of Spanish audio wafting down the halls, a man with his

01:35:13.860 phone in his hand moseys on in, the speaker blaring something.

01:35:17.120 I can't really tell what it is, but it's some sort of presentation, maybe a TED Talk in

01:35:22.460 habla espanol. I'm not exactly sure, but he had it held up to his ear so he could listen,

01:35:26.600 and he was listening intently. Just think about this for a moment. Why do we do it? Why do we feel

01:35:35.100 compelled, pulled by the dopamine hits? As it's our duty, or as I said earlier, like our job to be on

01:35:46.140 these things. They're probably listening to me on one right now. In fact, well, that's something I

01:35:51.820 endorse. But what's really going on? Well, I want to give you some good news about these

01:36:01.640 things too, but there is a young woman who has nailed it. She is a poet, so to speak, on social

01:36:09.280 media. And she's gone viral for her piece called, maybe it was the damn phones. You'll hear what the 1.00

01:36:20.140 next generation is saying. As they start to wake up, I believe some good news. You'll hear what

01:36:25.580 they have to say about it. As I start to wipe the sleep from their eye, the crust, and start to see

01:36:31.240 the reality of what we're all facing now. After this, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today, the Glenn Beck

01:36:38.600 program. Your home is so much more than the place you live. It's an investment tool as well, and you can

01:36:46.100 put that tool to use and access the equity that you have as cash to pay off those high interest

01:36:51.660 credit cards. Did you know the average credit card rate now is hovering around 25%? Some people are

01:36:55.980 paying in 30 plus every single month. I mean, it's insane. If you're not paying that debt off in full

01:37:01.820 every month, those fees are adding up, and you just can't let that happen, which is why you need to look

01:37:06.860 at your spending, your financing, your debt. Better yet, let American Financing do that for you.

01:37:11.820 This is a family-owned mortgage lender. They're not a bank. You're important to them. There's no

01:37:15.620 pressure, no upfront or hidden fees. If you call them today, you might be able to close in as fast

01:37:20.320 as 10 days and even delay two mortgage payments. They're saving homeowners just like you an average

01:37:25.680 of $826 a month. That could be life-changing. So call today, 800-906-2440, 800-906-2440,

01:37:45.620 It is Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program, and I put my phone down to

01:37:57.420 have this conversation with you about technology, the phones, and the division that's made possible

01:38:04.600 only through such means as social media. Now, it's not all bad. Not all of it. In fact,

01:38:11.180 I think a lot of it can be very good. In fact, it could be a tool, and in many cases it is used as

01:38:19.040 a tool to fight back in this war that's currently going on, informing each other, encouraging each

01:38:27.800 other. If we use the tool in a responsible and positive way, you know, like a firearm to protect

01:38:35.080 yourself or fire to heat your home or cook your meal, whatever it might be, right? These tools

01:38:41.640 can be very effective, but they can also do damage. And it's just something for us to be aware of.

01:38:54.820 Again, I point these things out so that we can be aware of them. That awareness,

01:38:59.760 it drives and we can become empowered to take action and make a difference. This is a poem

01:39:09.980 performed by a young lady named Corey Jane. She is on Instagram and TikTok and all those different

01:39:20.020 places that you would think of. And she nails it with her rendition of maybe, maybe it was the damn 0.99

01:39:36.120 phones. Take a listen to this. 1.00

01:39:41.520 We're right. It was the damn phones. We laughed when we were children hearing. It's that Snapgram 1.00

01:39:46.940 and Instachat and FaceTalk. They didn't understand. They couldn't even say it right. I thought I knew

01:39:50.520 better than them. They didn't know what it was like having a world at the tip of our fingers. We

01:39:53.780 scroll through the trash so much. We have headlines tattooed on our skin, wires for veins, AI for a

01:39:58.380 brain, and they may not have understood, but they were right. It is the damn phones. A drug in my pocket 1.00

01:40:03.480 dependent on stimulation, but can we blame us? We were but children when they were given. We didn't know

01:40:07.580 how to stop it. If I added up all the hours I spent on a screen, existential dread and regret would

01:40:11.440 creep in. So I ignored this fact by typing away, and it's not like I can throw away my phone. It's

01:40:15.380 how we communicate. It's how we relate. It's the medicine that is surely making our souls die.

01:40:18.740 I used to say I was born in the wrong generation, but I was mistaken for do I not do everything I say

01:40:22.780 I hate? When I look in the mirror, I see a ghost staring back. I try not to think too much about who

01:40:26.820 I would be without technology. The character behind the phone screen has become self-aware, almost worse

01:40:31.780 than being naive, for I know it's poison, but I drink anyways. We used to be scared of robots gaining

01:40:35.240 consciousness, a lie by the media companies to keep us distracted as to not ourselves become

01:40:39.280 conscious of the mess that they have created. We are the robots. We are the products. And so I

01:40:42.540 sit and I scroll and I rot on repeat. Sit and scroll and rot until my own thoughts are what is being

01:40:47.340 fed to me on TV, until my own feelings are wrapped in celebrities, until my body is but a tool of my

01:40:52.320 political identity. And so I sit and I scroll and I rot. And so I post on the internet how the internet

01:40:56.820 has failed us so that I do not fail my internet presence. I think our parents were right. It was the

01:41:01.420 damn phones. Wow. 1.00

01:41:06.380 As a father,

01:41:07.400 I struggle

01:41:14.140 thinking about

01:41:16.520 my daughter and

01:41:18.520 what kind of a world

01:41:20.300 she's going to inherit. And what are we doing, knowingly or

01:41:24.340 unknowingly,

01:41:26.560 with our kids? What do I allow her to watch? The phone? Some screen? A cartoon? The TV?

01:41:36.880 Why do I just kick her outside and say, go play? Like we did. 0.99

01:41:43.100 And how much of it, how much of it is the cause for many things that we are dealing with today

01:41:49.040 and what the young girls have to deal with 0.54

01:41:51.200 that they're going through.

01:41:53.720 The social media.

01:41:56.060 The constant judgment, the feeling that they have to always

01:41:59.200 add up, you know?

01:42:04.020 And what that must be like for them.

01:42:08.540 It is incredible.

01:42:10.380 It's not all bad, though.

01:42:12.500 Boy, there are some very

01:42:14.020 encouraging, some very

01:42:16.000 hope-filled moments that are captured online.

01:42:18.220 And they're shared with the world.

01:42:19.380 And they uplift us all.

01:42:20.460 In fact, I'll share one of them

01:42:22.420 before the program is up.

01:42:25.900 Back next.

01:42:27.020 Justin Barclay.

01:42:28.520 And for Glenn today,

01:42:30.020 this is the Glenn Beck Program.

01:44:14.560 in the 08 congressional race.

01:44:37.100 Abe, how are you?

01:44:38.340 Good to be with you, Justin.

01:44:39.460 I'm great. Thank you.

01:44:40.780 You ran for attorney general

01:44:42.440 in Arizona

01:44:44.540 and earlier had a Freudian slip

01:44:46.920 and said that you won.

01:44:49.880 I meant you run

01:44:50.840 for attorney general.

01:44:52.480 But there are people

01:44:53.000 that would still make

01:44:53.880 that case today.

01:44:55.240 I actually think I won, Justin.

01:44:57.620 You know, it was the closest race 0.85

01:44:59.180 in Arizona history.

01:45:00.780 It was 280 votes difference

01:45:02.800 out of 2.5 million

01:45:04.100 and there's still 9,000

01:45:05.700 uncounted ballots.

01:45:07.060 We're still in litigation,

01:45:08.440 but we know what the Democrats

01:45:10.180 and these crooks do.

01:45:11.280 So we're fighting

01:45:12.360 another direction.

01:45:13.200 And when President Trump

01:45:14.220 endorsed me earlier this month,

01:45:16.040 you know, I told him,

01:45:17.040 you know, Mr. President,

01:45:18.100 you were able to give me

01:45:19.140 an Arizonans justice

01:45:20.160 that no court has been able to.

01:45:22.020 And, you know,

01:45:22.680 I'm really honored

01:45:23.300 to be endorsed by him.

01:45:24.300 But, you know,

01:45:24.980 we're still in that election litigation,

01:45:26.780 but now we're on to Congress as well.

01:45:29.000 So this is a multi-front war

01:45:30.220 that we're fighting

01:45:30.820 to save our country.

01:45:32.300 So speaking of which,

01:45:33.360 today we get the news

01:45:34.260 out of Michigan

01:45:34.960 that the Supreme Court

01:45:35.960 in Michigan said,

01:45:36.900 no, we're not going to take

01:45:38.080 President Trump

01:45:39.260 off the ballot here.

01:45:40.640 Interesting stats on this.

01:45:43.040 In fact,

01:45:43.360 the court here in Michigan

01:45:44.760 skews liberal now.

01:45:47.700 It hadn't always,

01:45:49.000 but it does.

01:45:49.860 And the ruling came in

01:45:52.180 4-3

01:45:53.700 with the dim majority

01:45:55.040 ruled 6-1.

01:45:56.000 So the 4-3 dim majority

01:45:57.540 ruled 6-1 on this,

01:45:59.740 that they were not going

01:46:01.040 to take up this appeal

01:46:02.220 as an attorney general on this.

01:46:04.360 I'm sure you're watching

01:46:05.020 all of that

01:46:05.740 or as a candidate

01:46:06.980 for attorney general,

01:46:07.780 you're watching all of that.

01:46:08.920 And some of the other issues,

01:46:12.100 obviously Colorado.

01:46:13.340 And this is something

01:46:14.220 they keep banging away at.

01:46:15.420 They're trying to get him

01:46:16.280 off the ballot.

01:46:17.180 It doesn't,

01:46:18.420 I don't know.

01:46:19.220 What are your thoughts?

01:46:19.760 Do you think that's really

01:46:20.420 going to be an effort

01:46:21.200 that's fruitful or no?

01:46:23.180 Well,

01:46:23.720 I think regardless

01:46:24.900 if it's fruitful,

01:46:25.780 you see what they're doing

01:46:27.140 and how they're distracting

01:46:28.960 the American people.

01:46:30.200 The lengths they're going

01:46:31.440 to destroy

01:46:32.540 the foundations

01:46:33.360 of the law

01:46:34.360 to stop President Trump

01:46:35.980 and this movement

01:46:36.800 from taking power.

01:46:38.340 And the power

01:46:39.160 belongs to the people.

01:46:40.820 So this is a direct attack

01:46:42.160 on the people themselves,

01:46:43.320 Justin.

01:46:43.600 And I'm glad to see

01:46:44.680 that Michigan still,

01:46:45.820 the Supreme Court out there

01:46:47.020 seems to be upholding

01:46:48.480 the rule of law.

01:46:49.640 And, you know,

01:46:50.460 Colorado was,

01:46:52.260 what's really scary

01:46:53.320 to me, Justin,

01:46:54.140 is the Colorado Supreme Court,

01:46:55.980 you know,

01:46:56.340 with that decision,

01:46:57.800 these are older Democrat

01:46:59.760 lawyers and judges.

01:47:01.860 Now imagine the ones

01:47:03.100 getting out of law school

01:47:04.140 nowadays,

01:47:04.940 how radicalized they are.

01:47:06.500 So this is really

01:47:08.060 a recipe for disaster.

01:47:09.980 This is why,

01:47:11.200 you know,

01:47:11.340 I was the youngest

01:47:11.940 statewide candidate

01:47:13.120 for office in 2022.

01:47:15.820 And I'm still,

01:47:16.580 you know,

01:47:16.860 rather young,

01:47:18.040 but this is my generation's fight.

01:47:20.120 We are fighting

01:47:20.720 for the soul of our country.

01:47:22.780 And, you know,

01:47:23.400 what they're doing

01:47:24.280 all across,

01:47:25.280 I just posted

01:47:26.020 a tweet graphic

01:47:27.440 about all these active

01:47:28.580 lawsuits going on.

01:47:30.000 It's really,

01:47:30.700 this is election interference.

01:47:32.040 This is what

01:47:32.700 third world countries do

01:47:33.900 and everybody's recognizing it.

01:47:35.320 So I hope

01:47:36.360 and I believe

01:47:36.940 it is waking up

01:47:37.700 a lot of people

01:47:38.480 to the nastiness

01:47:39.360 of the Democrats.

01:47:40.360 And to be quite honest,

01:47:41.840 a lot of the weak

01:47:42.640 need Republicans as well

01:47:43.840 who are not standing

01:47:44.600 shoulder to shoulder

01:47:45.300 with President Trump.

01:47:47.060 Nothing says

01:47:47.720 defending democracy

01:47:49.280 more than taking

01:47:51.220 somebody off the ballot

01:47:52.660 and not even letting

01:47:53.520 the people vote.

01:47:54.780 It's,

01:47:55.320 it's really insanity,

01:47:56.400 isn't it?

01:47:58.180 It's,

01:47:58.640 it's,

01:47:59.500 it's quite sad

01:48:00.540 because our founding fathers

01:48:02.400 would be ashamed of us

01:48:03.520 for what we've tolerated

01:48:04.400 over the past few years.

01:48:05.460 They have destroyed

01:48:06.340 every single institution

01:48:08.360 and they're,

01:48:09.880 they're going after

01:48:10.520 the system of justice

01:48:12.340 that keeps our country together.

01:48:14.100 So I am terrified of that,

01:48:16.320 but that's why

01:48:17.080 I'm looking forward

01:48:18.080 to going to Congress

01:48:19.240 with President Trump

01:48:20.660 in the White House,

01:48:21.360 with Carrie Lake

01:48:22.140 in the Senate,

01:48:22.740 who's also fantastic

01:48:24.020 here in Arizona.

01:48:24.860 And she's been fighting

01:48:25.980 her election litigation

01:48:27.720 as well.

01:48:28.440 So,

01:48:28.900 you know,

01:48:29.320 this movement

01:48:30.360 has really wakened up

01:48:31.440 so many patriots

01:48:32.500 and people

01:48:33.200 who have never run

01:48:33.800 for office before

01:48:34.600 because we want

01:48:35.240 our country back

01:48:36.160 because we've seen

01:48:36.980 what they're doing

01:48:37.620 and the length

01:48:38.080 they're going to do

01:48:38.580 to try to maintain

01:48:39.400 their,

01:48:39.760 their corrupt power.

01:48:41.620 Abe Hominay

01:48:42.360 with us right now.

01:48:43.100 He's running

01:48:43.360 for Congress

01:48:43.900 in Arizona,

01:48:44.760 ran for Attorney General

01:48:45.680 there,

01:48:46.020 now is Congress

01:48:46.760 in Arizona

01:48:47.420 in that race.

01:48:48.620 Your border

01:48:49.320 is,

01:48:49.880 is wide open.

01:48:50.820 You've seen it,

01:48:51.400 I'm sure,

01:48:52.120 up close and personal

01:48:53.540 and the governor there

01:48:54.280 doesn't want to do

01:48:54.960 anything about it.

01:48:55.780 It's,

01:48:56.020 it's,

01:48:56.400 it's a mess.

01:48:57.900 Even John Fetterman,

01:48:59.300 I never thought

01:48:59.840 I would agree

01:49:00.420 with this guy

01:49:01.200 but several times

01:49:02.200 recently I've agreed

01:49:03.460 with Senator Fetterman

01:49:04.340 on this.

01:49:05.300 It's a mess.

01:49:06.400 A lot of people

01:49:06.900 are waking up

01:49:07.520 to this issue.

01:49:08.260 There is no

01:49:09.240 way around it.

01:49:11.240 What,

01:49:11.920 we've got a caravan

01:49:13.800 coming in right now

01:49:14.660 that's the 15,000,

01:49:15.900 looks like 730,000

01:49:17.880 encounters

01:49:19.000 since October alone.

01:49:20.880 17 on the terrorist

01:49:22.040 watch list,

01:49:22.660 I think it was in November

01:49:23.720 that we know about.

01:49:25.000 Right.

01:49:25.760 It's,

01:49:26.280 it's right in your own

01:49:27.500 backyard.

01:49:28.800 It's insanity

01:49:29.580 and you know,

01:49:30.260 with Fetterman,

01:49:30.880 you're right,

01:49:31.200 I think he had a reset

01:49:32.140 because I heard him

01:49:34.000 criticizing Bob Benendez

01:49:35.440 with his gold bars

01:49:36.720 that he was taking

01:49:37.280 to nature.

01:49:38.400 Gold bars,

01:49:39.240 Bob.

01:49:40.500 But if you look

01:49:41.440 at the border,

01:49:42.180 you know,

01:49:42.440 they just closed down

01:49:43.980 a legal port of entry

01:49:45.480 here in Arizona,

01:49:46.540 the Lukeville port of entry.

01:49:48.620 And so think about this,

01:49:50.120 Justin,

01:49:50.480 they're keeping Americans 1.00

01:49:51.920 out

01:49:52.480 but allowing illegals in.

01:49:54.920 I mean,

01:49:55.680 this is,

01:49:56.260 it's a disaster

01:49:57.040 that people may not see

01:49:58.980 unless they're on the border

01:50:00.220 because,

01:50:00.780 you know,

01:50:00.900 when I go down there

01:50:01.780 and I've toured it

01:50:02.380 many,

01:50:02.820 many times,

01:50:03.920 it is literally open.

01:50:05.640 I mean,

01:50:05.820 you have a line

01:50:06.800 of hundreds and hundreds

01:50:07.900 of people

01:50:08.580 every single morning

01:50:09.720 and they're just waiting

01:50:10.820 to get on these buses

01:50:11.900 provided by the government

01:50:13.440 and border patrols

01:50:14.860 acting as de facto

01:50:16.020 travel agents

01:50:17.120 and they're shipping

01:50:19.180 them across,

01:50:19.980 you know,

01:50:20.220 here in Phoenix,

01:50:21.000 you go to the Phoenix airport,

01:50:22.180 the Tucson airport,

01:50:23.000 it's quite scary.

01:50:24.400 These people don't have IDs,

01:50:26.300 they have Ziploc baggies,

01:50:27.740 they look,

01:50:28.140 they're very disheveled

01:50:29.080 and they're getting

01:50:29.480 on these airplanes,

01:50:30.800 you know,

01:50:31.120 with all these

01:50:32.220 commercial airliners

01:50:33.300 and they're being transported

01:50:34.620 all across our country.

01:50:36.140 So if people don't think

01:50:37.760 the border affects them

01:50:38.840 in their state

01:50:40.000 because they're in Michigan,

01:50:41.060 for instance,

01:50:41.900 or,

01:50:42.300 you know,

01:50:42.640 Maine or wherever,

01:50:43.840 it's,

01:50:44.080 they're shipping them everywhere

01:50:45.820 and 8 to 10 million people

01:50:48.820 coming across our country

01:50:49.880 in the last three years,

01:50:50.800 it's absorbed

01:50:51.720 into every single scene

01:50:53.000 and that's why

01:50:53.500 you're seeing

01:50:53.940 even Chicago's mayor,

01:50:55.940 you know,

01:50:56.080 Brandon Johnson,

01:50:57.120 the most radical

01:50:58.140 communist mayor,

01:50:59.380 even he's,

01:51:00.200 you know,

01:51:00.540 now appalled by this

01:51:02.600 because he has to live

01:51:03.340 with the consequences

01:51:04.260 of the policies

01:51:05.080 that they support

01:51:05.860 and same with New York

01:51:07.180 Mayor Eric Adams.

01:51:08.840 So,

01:51:09.340 you know,

01:51:09.660 finally,

01:51:10.700 I think people have woken up

01:51:12.220 and I think a lot of it

01:51:12.920 had to do with sending

01:51:13.720 those buses out

01:51:14.860 to those cities

01:51:15.600 to wake these people up

01:51:17.780 and,

01:51:18.220 but they're,

01:51:18.760 they're incredible drain

01:51:19.960 on our resources

01:51:20.740 and you're exactly right

01:51:21.700 with the terrorists

01:51:22.480 who are coming across

01:51:23.380 but it's not just radical 0.55

01:51:24.700 Islamist terrorists, 0.73

01:51:25.800 Justin, 0.99

01:51:25.980 I mean,

01:51:26.180 there's Chinese spies

01:51:27.480 who are flocking in

01:51:28.780 and with my district

01:51:30.260 and Congressional District 8

01:51:31.460 in Arizona,

01:51:32.440 you know,

01:51:32.580 we have the TSMC,

01:51:34.080 one of,

01:51:34.360 it's the biggest chip manufacturer

01:51:36.260 in the world

01:51:36.760 that came from Taiwan.

01:51:37.960 So,

01:51:38.160 of course,

01:51:38.460 there's going to be

01:51:38.860 Chinese spies everywhere. 0.92

01:51:40.720 They're all coming in 0.99

01:51:41.460 through our open border

01:51:42.680 because the rest of the world

01:51:43.580 understands that it's

01:51:44.760 completely open

01:51:45.820 and that Biden

01:51:46.520 is not enforcing

01:51:47.440 any aspect of it.

01:51:48.600 So,

01:51:49.280 you know,

01:51:49.580 this is one of those policies

01:51:50.820 where,

01:51:51.300 you know,

01:51:51.840 Republicans in the House,

01:51:53.000 this is where we need

01:51:53.760 the White House back

01:51:54.900 and why it's so important

01:51:55.820 to get President Trump

01:51:56.760 elected once again.

01:51:58.140 But it is,

01:51:58.980 we are no longer a country

01:52:00.320 with the way our border

01:52:01.140 is being operated

01:52:01.960 and everybody,

01:52:04.000 all of our enemies

01:52:04.720 are taking advantage of it. 0.99

01:52:05.880 They're not stupid. 0.97

01:52:06.880 Why would they try 0.99

01:52:07.800 to come in legally?

01:52:08.680 They can just go in

01:52:09.360 across our southern border

01:52:10.440 and that's what's happening

01:52:11.700 right here in Arizona

01:52:12.580 and Texas

01:52:13.120 and all across

01:52:14.160 our southern border.

01:52:14.880 To this other issue

01:52:16.840 that is another

01:52:17.440 very big pressing issue,

01:52:19.460 Abe Hommade with us

01:52:20.960 right now

01:52:21.240 running for Congress

01:52:22.060 out of Arizona.

01:52:23.660 You had firsthand

01:52:25.280 some experience with this

01:52:27.100 as a former

01:52:28.360 Army intelligence officer

01:52:29.700 serving in Saudi Arabia there.

01:52:31.460 But the issue

01:52:32.560 that we're seeing

01:52:34.400 with obviously

01:52:35.640 the attacks coming

01:52:39.140 from these terrorist organizations, 0.84

01:52:41.060 the Houthis particularly,

01:52:42.140 I guess the drug report

01:52:43.260 this morning was like

01:52:44.200 U.S. shoots down

01:52:45.240 12 suicide drones,

01:52:46.380 three anti-ship missiles,

01:52:47.640 two land attack missiles

01:52:48.720 fired by Houthis.

01:52:50.540 And the Biden administration

01:52:52.380 has just taken

01:52:54.300 the opposite direction

01:52:55.380 of common sense

01:52:56.540 on this whole thing.

01:52:58.380 Yeah, that's exactly right.

01:52:59.480 And for your listeners

01:53:00.060 to know about the history

01:53:01.360 of the Houthis,

01:53:02.460 the Houthis came to power

01:53:04.060 in Yemen in 2015.

01:53:06.580 They're equivalent 0.94

01:53:07.180 to the Taliban

01:53:08.260 in Afghanistan.

01:53:09.660 So almost no country

01:53:11.140 recognized them

01:53:11.860 as a legitimate government

01:53:12.920 of Yemen.

01:53:13.400 But what was really

01:53:14.540 interesting, Justin,

01:53:15.460 I served in Saudi Arabia

01:53:16.760 with the U.S. Army

01:53:17.700 under both President Trump

01:53:19.040 and Biden.

01:53:19.960 So when I was there

01:53:20.640 under Trump,

01:53:21.280 we had the Abraham Accord

01:53:22.560 that was creating peace

01:53:23.720 all across the Middle East.

01:53:25.240 Trump administration

01:53:26.000 labeled the Houthis

01:53:27.080 as a terrorist organization

01:53:28.720 because they were firing missiles

01:53:30.580 at us

01:53:31.460 while I was in Saudi Arabia.

01:53:33.020 I mean, missiles

01:53:33.620 were coming in all the time

01:53:34.880 from the Houthis.

01:53:36.180 But when Biden took office,

01:53:37.800 within his first two weeks,

01:53:39.300 he decided to delist them

01:53:41.460 as a terrorist organization.

01:53:42.740 It never made any sense

01:53:44.380 because they were still

01:53:45.200 firing missiles at us

01:53:46.260 even after he delisted them.

01:53:48.000 So this policy of appeasement

01:53:49.500 toward Iran

01:53:50.420 has been real

01:53:51.380 because Iran funds the Houthis.

01:53:53.360 They give them the weapons,

01:53:54.560 the missiles.

01:53:55.400 I mean,

01:53:55.580 these are a ragtag group.

01:53:57.260 And yet they have these missiles

01:53:58.380 that are launched

01:53:59.380 thousands of miles away.

01:54:01.200 They have the capabilities

01:54:02.540 of hitting Israel 0.66

01:54:03.440 deep into Saudi Arabia.

01:54:05.000 And now you're seeing them

01:54:06.220 going after American warships

01:54:08.460 and even commercial vessels.

01:54:09.760 So I've been,

01:54:10.840 I called on this

01:54:11.980 way back in October

01:54:13.020 before many people

01:54:14.000 were even on it

01:54:14.680 saying that we need

01:54:15.480 to relist them

01:54:16.320 as a terrorist organization.

01:54:17.980 And that would help

01:54:18.940 stop a lot of their

01:54:19.780 financial transactions.

01:54:21.500 But the Biden administration

01:54:23.060 still has not

01:54:24.300 redesignated them

01:54:25.600 as a terrorist organization.

01:54:26.900 So you're looking

01:54:27.460 at the whole Middle East

01:54:28.280 and the whole world,

01:54:29.160 quite frankly,

01:54:29.680 is on fire right now

01:54:30.960 because the Biden administration 0.94

01:54:32.860 is so incompetent

01:54:34.220 or some people 0.90

01:54:35.360 might say it's intentional.

01:54:37.080 And it's appalling to see

01:54:40.380 because it's not just

01:54:41.320 affecting Israel,

01:54:42.840 but it's affecting

01:54:43.420 global commerce.

01:54:44.580 It's affecting our troops.

01:54:45.540 I mean,

01:54:45.680 there's been a hundred attacks

01:54:46.860 on our military service members

01:54:48.960 since October.

01:54:50.680 And look at the response

01:54:52.300 because all it is

01:54:53.200 is we're not even

01:54:54.020 responding proportionately.

01:54:55.900 Right now we're waiting

01:54:56.760 for them to attack a vessel

01:54:58.120 and then we go

01:54:58.840 and shoot down a drone.

01:55:00.500 We need to be taking out

01:55:01.440 these sites

01:55:01.980 before they're launching

01:55:03.120 these missiles.

01:55:03.820 We have that capability,

01:55:04.800 but this is what's happening.

01:55:06.780 The Biden,

01:55:07.880 Blinken,

01:55:08.700 foreign policy

01:55:09.500 is a complete disaster.

01:55:11.540 And by the way,

01:55:12.860 a lot of these

01:55:13.560 these Houthis 0.99

01:55:14.660 and Hezbollah,

01:55:15.760 I mean,

01:55:15.900 they're coming through

01:55:16.720 our southern border

01:55:17.820 right now as well.

01:55:18.900 I mean,

01:55:19.020 you just mentioned

01:55:19.640 the 17 who came in

01:55:20.800 in November,

01:55:21.260 but there's been

01:55:22.180 over a hundred

01:55:22.780 and probably 80 now

01:55:24.640 who are people

01:55:26.000 who came across

01:55:26.640 our southern border

01:55:27.320 who are on

01:55:27.640 the terrorist watch list.

01:55:29.320 And those are only

01:55:29.940 the ones who are apprehended.

01:55:31.980 So imagine the ones

01:55:32.960 who are not coming in.

01:55:34.460 And when I was

01:55:35.300 in Saudi Arabia,

01:55:35.940 one of the one of the

01:55:36.800 things I was tasked

01:55:37.560 to doing was I was

01:55:39.280 I went there after

01:55:40.040 the 2019 Pensacola

01:55:41.940 terrorist attack.

01:55:43.120 If your listeners

01:55:43.780 remember that

01:55:44.620 it was a Saudi Arabian

01:55:46.080 pilot who was

01:55:47.580 invited to the United

01:55:48.640 States by our government

01:55:49.780 killed four service members.

01:55:52.640 And that's why

01:55:53.260 I've also told

01:55:54.280 I've also called

01:55:55.160 the Biden administration

01:55:55.940 to put a pause

01:55:56.720 on foreign military

01:55:57.620 training in the United

01:55:58.660 States from these

01:56:00.000 from these countries

01:56:00.940 that don't have

01:56:01.760 good vetting.

01:56:02.580 So it's a huge problem.

01:56:04.200 And I look forward

01:56:05.220 to going into Congress

01:56:06.220 to solve a lot of this

01:56:07.880 by by redesignating

01:56:09.480 the Houthis

01:56:10.460 as a terrorist organization,

01:56:11.740 by labeling the drug

01:56:12.880 cartels as a terrorist

01:56:13.800 organization.

01:56:14.180 We can do a lot more

01:56:15.240 right now if we had

01:56:16.040 the courage in Congress

01:56:17.400 to do something.

01:56:18.700 Abe,

01:56:18.720 they definitely

01:56:19.420 have to have you back.

01:56:20.700 We're up against

01:56:21.440 the clock right now,

01:56:22.420 but Abe for AZ.com.

01:56:24.180 Folks want to find 0.52

01:56:24.820 out more online

01:56:27.980 I enjoy your comments.

01:56:28.940 It's approach

01:56:29.420 and thank you

01:56:30.140 for being a,

01:56:31.320 I like this happy

01:56:32.860 warrior in the fight.

01:56:34.340 I love it.

01:56:35.600 We have to be happy

01:56:36.700 warriors,

01:56:37.360 and I really appreciate

01:56:38.260 the time.

01:56:38.840 It was great being

01:56:39.820 on with you.

01:56:40.640 I couldn't agree more.

01:56:41.480 Thank you,

01:56:41.800 my friend,

01:56:42.240 Abe Hameday.

01:56:43.280 All right,

01:56:43.880 coming up again,

01:56:44.700 I don't know

01:56:45.500 how this happened,

01:56:46.720 but I,

01:56:47.420 again,

01:56:48.240 I think I agree

01:56:50.340 with John Fetterman.

01:56:51.900 I don't know

01:56:52.220 how this happened.

01:56:53.700 What has he said

01:56:54.420 the latest?

01:56:55.460 You'll hear that

01:56:56.200 coming up after this.

01:58:15.280 Full of amazing videos

01:58:23.500 here.

01:58:23.740 I just can't believe

01:58:25.140 I agree with him again.

01:58:26.140 John Fetterman?

01:58:27.760 Senator Fetterman

01:58:28.880 making sense again?

01:58:30.280 If you look at the numbers,

01:58:32.280 it's almost 270,000 encounters

01:58:34.420 and that's a lot.

01:58:36.620 It's not xenophobic

01:58:38.880 to have a conversation

01:58:40.300 about border security.

01:58:41.740 That is from a Democrat.

01:58:44.180 Democrat.

01:58:44.840 Wow.

01:58:45.520 And Fetterman,

01:58:47.060 of all people,

01:58:47.700 I guess I can understand him.

01:58:49.080 Number one,

01:58:49.500 he made sense.

01:58:50.580 If it made sense,

01:58:53.100 it's amazing.

01:58:54.020 Again,

01:58:54.420 we're talking about

01:58:55.120 technology and social media,

01:58:56.420 but there's some amazing

01:58:57.360 things that can come out of it.

01:58:58.480 In fact,

01:58:58.840 I just shared this.

01:59:00.180 I'm over on X.

01:59:02.140 In fact,

01:59:02.640 all social media

01:59:03.700 at Mr. Justin Barkley,

01:59:05.480 you can see this.

01:59:07.260 Again,

01:59:07.740 and I'll make sure

01:59:08.180 that you can get it.

01:59:09.620 It's up at the top

01:59:10.260 right now.

01:59:11.940 Only way to describe

01:59:12.700 this is a God moment.

01:59:13.760 A Chick-fil-A

01:59:14.580 in North Carolina.

01:59:17.680 One of the folks

01:59:18.620 who work for them

01:59:19.560 is undergoing

01:59:20.680 breast cancer surgery

01:59:22.040 and the manager

01:59:24.580 or one of the employees

01:59:25.560 on duty at the time

01:59:26.500 stopped service there

01:59:28.560 to pray

01:59:29.560 for that woman

01:59:30.700 who was about to have

01:59:34.280 that surgery

01:59:35.380 as we speak.

01:59:36.540 We have one of our team members

01:59:37.920 that is starting surgery

01:59:39.540 right now

01:59:40.660 for breast cancer

01:59:42.460 and we'd like to say

01:59:43.920 a short prayer for her

01:59:45.420 if you would like to join us.

01:59:47.600 It's Ms. Trish.

01:59:48.760 So,

01:59:49.140 you all know her

01:59:50.400 out in our dining room.

01:59:52.780 Today's a rough day for us,

01:59:54.120 so we're hoping

01:59:54.840 that things go well.

01:59:55.720 And so,

01:59:56.600 this will just take a second.

01:59:57.740 We're going to try to do this

01:59:58.340 as fast as we can.

01:59:59.180 So,

01:59:59.340 if you bow your heads

02:00:00.180 and I'm not great at this,

02:00:01.780 I'm going to do my best.

02:00:02.640 The entire restaurant

02:00:03.720 joining in with them.

02:00:04.680 Please just protect

02:00:05.900 Ms. Trish.

02:00:06.820 Wow.

02:00:07.300 Surgery today.

02:00:09.060 Please give the surgeon

02:00:10.220 a steady hand

02:00:10.980 as they perform

02:00:13.140 if they need the surgery on her.

02:00:14.900 And please keep everybody

02:00:15.860 in the surgery room.

02:00:18.120 Let them be at their best today.

02:00:19.800 We have sharp minds

02:00:20.660 and clear heads
