00:04:45.640 I think Kamala Harris was the one that Stu and I were worried about at the beginning because we thought she was the most likable.

00:04:57.080 In fact, she's she's very unlikable her out her unpopularity outside of the core Democratic base is unbelievable.

00:05:11.220 Harris collapsed in the presidential polls.

00:05:15.300 She went from she was tied to second place at 15 percent and she was in low double digits by September.

00:05:22.980 Her favorability was way underwater with independence with 33 unfavorable to 29 favorable.

00:05:33.460 And there is a reason for it.

00:05:35.500 She is she is very, very strident.

00:05:39.940 She is she is somebody who is a cop seems to be pro cop, but I don't know how that's going to help her.

00:05:50.620 I worry about that because I think that's that helps her with the people who are independent or the Democrats who are worried about this, this insanity that is going on in our streets.

00:06:15.240 And she's talking about how she brought charges to people who were whose children were truant at school.

00:06:35.720 And listen to what Kamala said and listen to the glee she has in her voice.

00:06:40.720 We created what we call the D.A. mediation program where we assigned prosecutors to go and sit with the administrators and principals when they met with all the parents.

00:06:50.100 And frankly, you know, the prosecutors in my office who volunteered to do this, my homicide prosecutors, my gang prosecutors.

00:06:59.440 And they went over there and I said, when you go over there, look really mean.

00:07:02.400 And so they did.

00:07:04.640 And invariably, the parents said, well, who's the mean looking dude?

00:07:07.780 And the principal would say, well, that's someone that mean D.A. Kamala Harris sent over here because she said she's going to start prosecuting you if we can't work this out.

00:07:18.100 And through that initiative, we found cases like the case of the woman who was by herself raising her three children, holding down two jobs and homeless.

00:07:34.240 But by shining this infrared spotlight of public safety on the fact that her children aren't in school, we were able to figure that out.

00:07:45.780 She when she said she just needed help, she just needed to be threatened by a big, scary officer of the law and threatened to put her in jail.

00:47:22.040 Which I think a lot of the country is going, OK, I mean, it's probably just kind of race

00:47:33.040 I did my own research online and I found out it's founded by Karl Marx.

00:49:24.500 So anyway, a couple of weeks ago, the week before school starts, we have to have a training.

00:49:30.080 And I noticed that the training is on race.

00:49:32.320 And I'm thinking, oh, man, I'm in California.

00:49:35.840 They better handle this well.

00:49:38.400 I open up the training and right across the top, it says critical race theory.

00:49:46.300 Glenn, I wanted to quit on the spot or go on a crusade or text all my friends that have their kids in public school.

00:49:54.360 I cannot believe what I'm seeing.

00:49:56.520 But of course, I want to read through it.

00:49:58.500 Give them the benefit of the doubt, because maybe the people who developed this don't know what critical theory is.

00:50:15.140 OK, not all California teachers.

00:50:17.520 But I can tell you that it is endorsed by the California Department of Education, the California School Board Association, the Association of California School Administrators, Bay Area Schools, the California Conservation Corps, and a bunch of other districts who have hired them.

00:50:36.300 And you are not in a small school district in California.

00:50:42.420 So it's a large number.

00:50:45.340 I'm in a small-ish district, small enough to where I'm nervous that I'm going to be identified.

00:51:32.480 But if you flip the color of the skin of the person you're talking about, you're a compassionate person.

00:51:42.120 And because of critical race theory, you defending that by saying flip that around proves that you are a racist.

00:52:31.800 Parents have gone to the superintendent to try to get me out.

00:52:34.640 Even when I have documentation proving why that student got the grade that they got, nope, it's because you're white.

01:08:11.320 I'm still on radio in San Diego, which is AM 600 Kogo.

01:08:16.520 But I can tell you right now, even San Diego is drifting farther to the left because, frankly, Republicans in California have not been fighting back.

01:08:26.060 They've allowed Democrats like Kamala Harris to take over our state politics without much of a fight.

01:08:33.700 AB5, this law that they passed and went into effect earlier this year, basically bans independent contractors.

01:08:42.660 You're not allowed to hire an accountant.

01:08:46.600 You're not allowed to hire a graphic designer.

01:08:49.360 You're not allowed to hire anyone under an independent contract.

01:08:52.600 They must be a full-time employee.

01:08:54.040 And the reason why the Democrats are trying to implement AB5 is that, number one, they ultimately want you to be in a union because the government unions and the trade unions will bankroll Democrat political campaigns with the dues of the members.

01:09:10.180 But they also want the tax revenue.

01:09:12.100 When you're an employee versus an independent contractor, you have to pay payroll tax, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation.

01:09:21.220 You have to make all sorts of filings with the government.

01:09:24.020 And you also are subject to labor law.

01:09:26.540 And the Democrats have done an extraordinary job making labor law so complicated that the plaintiff attorneys out there, which who are Democrats and contribute to Democrats, can shake down small businesses with frivolous lawsuits.

01:09:40.780 And so this is part of a larger plan, Glenn, to really take over every means of production in the economy by getting everyone classified as a full-time employee.

01:09:51.880 And I'm telling you, I talk to independent contractors.

01:09:54.420 They don't want to be employees.

01:09:55.860 They like the idea of working their own hours, flexibility, innovation.

01:10:01.780 They get to pursue their passion.

01:10:03.880 An event planner wants to do event planning, whereas if they get a full-time job at a corporation, they may only be able to do event planning a third of the time or a quarter of the time because, frankly, the company doesn't need more than that.

01:10:20.320 And the only people who benefit from it, besides trial attorneys, are Democrat politicians who get campaign contributions and higher taxes.

01:10:28.600 So who authored AB5?

01:10:32.320 AB5 was authored by a former labor union leader, Lorena Gonzalez, who's now in the state assembly.

01:10:39.880 And this is very unusual, but Joe Biden, running for president, took time out of his campaign three weeks ago to tweet his support for AB5, this little-known state law in California.

01:10:55.860 And so to your point that you made at the opening, absolutely, this is going to happen nationwide if Joe Biden is elected president.

01:11:04.200 Every single independent contractor needs to think twice about this election because you can talk to people here in California who are Democrats.

01:11:15.220 I'm talking about musicians, event planners, drivers, artists, drivers.

01:11:21.900 They're Democrats, but they've been put out of work because of AB5 in California, and that law is going to put those same people out of work in every state in the union if we elect Joe Biden.

01:11:33.140 Because he's endorsed the law, and he wants to make it the law of the land.

01:11:36.300 Okay, so tell me about the teachers.

01:11:39.780 If you hire a tutor now, you have to obey this law.

01:11:45.020 Do you think that this is just about the unions, or is it also to kind of hold hostage the parents who can't – I mean, one of the things that's happening around the country,

01:11:56.540 people are hiring tutors, and, you know, it's five families, and they go in, they hire somebody, and it's a contractor, and they, you know, have their kids go to school.

01:12:06.460 You know, the five families put together one teacher, and they kind of do it themselves.

01:12:11.920 That's what's the trend now in America.

01:12:14.560 But this would put a stop to that.

01:12:16.820 Is this only about labor unions, or is this about more than that?

01:12:21.740 I think this is an unintended side benefit for the Democrats who don't want kids to actually go to school at home.

01:12:31.440 When Governor Gavin Newsom and other blue state governors shut down the schools, they did it not because science demonstrated some sort of risk for kids to be in those schools.

01:12:43.460 They did it because the powerful teachers' unions demanded it.

01:12:46.400 The teachers' unions want to be able to have their members collect a full paycheck without actually having to go into school and do the work.

01:12:53.080 Everyone notes that online and distance learning is not effective for keeping our kids on pace to achieve educational outcomes.

01:13:00.940 And so parents, as you just said, have taken it on their own to talk to each other and, you know, pass the hat to hire a tutor, to hire a teacher, to create what they call pod schools, little tiny pod learning opportunities.

01:13:15.900 And now under AB5, if the parents did that, they will open themselves up to penalties and fines.

01:13:21.600 Governor Gavin Newsom, in the midst of a pandemic, decided to put $20 million into the state budget to enforce AB5.

01:13:32.760 Remember, we're $56 billion in deficit.

01:13:36.220 But he somehow came up with $20 million to enforce AB5 in the middle of a pandemic.

01:13:42.500 That's how aggressive they are being in enforcing this law.

01:13:46.840 So next year, when those tutors, when those teachers who were paid as independent contractors, because that's how all the parents are doing it, hey, let me give you some money and then I'll just issue you a 1099 at the end of the year.

01:14:00.400 When they file their taxes, they will have to report all of that income that they earned from parents for tutoring on Schedule C of their IRS forms.

01:14:09.820 The state of California will pull that data, issue a notice, a demand notice to the tutor asking them for a list of their clients and a copy of their contract, any sort of paperwork to demonstrate what did you do, what were the terms and conditions.

01:14:25.860 And none of that will pass muster under AB5.

01:14:29.040 The parents then will be penalized for back taxes, unemployment, workers' compensation.

01:14:34.500 They will also be imposed, a fine will be imposed on top of them.

01:14:40.300 The reason why we did the press conference was twofold.

01:14:42.560 Number one is we wanted to warn parents, hey, you're going to get smacked if you do this.

01:14:47.680 And number two, we wanted to point out just how flawed the AB5 law is, that it would basically create a crime if parents decided to hire tutors.

01:15:00.480 And the state of California basically put out guidance saying, yeah, tutors and teachers are covered under AB5 and that this is a real possibility that they would be penalized.

01:15:12.900 Carl, let me ask you this question.

01:15:15.040 I think I know the answer because I live in Texas and I also part time live in Idaho.

01:15:21.800 Both states are being decimated by people coming in from California.

01:15:27.700 But what is the temperature of the people in California?

01:15:30.900 Are they are is everybody cool with this or have they overstepped or do the average California just like, yeah, man, we're fine with not going to work.

01:15:40.800 We're fine with all of these things.

01:15:43.740 And I mean, what is the temperature there?

01:15:46.760 The temperature is when you when you when you talk to them about what's actually happening, most of them are not aware because the liberal media out here will not give them any bad news.

01:16:03.220 And so when they find out, they're shocked.

01:16:22.340 The California Republican Party is a big old dumpster fire.

01:16:26.340 They've been leading an organized or actually a disorganized retreat for about 20 years in California.

01:16:36.020 The establishment gets to handpick folks and and they they run these these accommodating what I call seat warmers.

01:16:45.400 These are Republicans who basically take a seat and they don't do anything.

01:16:50.240 And this is happening at the local level, state level and even in the congressional level.

01:16:56.240 I do believe that there are conservatives and moderates in California that, if given leadership, will go in a new direction.

01:17:05.580 But what's happening is that those same people, to your point, are giving up in California and moving elsewhere.

01:17:12.160 And the irony here is that for every sane, moderate or conservative Californian who gets disgusted and leaves the state of California, you have four liberals that can no longer afford California.

01:17:26.560 And so they move into places like Nevada, like Arizona, like even Texas, and turn those states purple and trending towards blue.

01:17:36.400 These are liberals who cannot afford the policies that they have supported by putting people like Gavin Newsom and Lorena Gonzalez and Kamala Harris into office.

01:17:46.580 I have to tell you, I've urged the governor of Texas to build a western and northern wall before even the southern wall.

01:30:51.580 I mean, the best example, and we've had hundreds and hundreds of churches calling us during this, you know, coronavirus attack on churches going on around the country.

01:31:00.880 But I thought, and I don't know if you saw this going on, I bet you did, what happened in Portland two weekends ago, I thought was the visual of the entire, you know, last four months, which was they took a stack of Bibles and used those to ignite them to light the American flag.

01:31:19.520 And to me, that was the visual, is if you're going to take America down, you've got to get rid of the church of religious freedom, because that kind of moral constraint gets in the way of oppressive governments.

01:31:33.280 So, Kelly, there's a there's a few things.

01:31:37.900 First of all, no one is no one is is really even speaking out about the the literal attacks on the churches.

01:31:47.900 As you said, churches have had statues of Jesus desecrated and beheaded.

01:31:54.040 You've had all kinds of of destruction being done to our churches, and nobody is saying anything.

01:32:01.120 And that is not a coincidence when you have Marxists marching in the streets.

01:32:07.440 And then we also have the government.

01:32:11.600 Not recognizing all of the First Amendment, they'll say, oh, you have a right to protest if you're on the right side, but you don't have a right to make your own decisions when it comes to church.

01:32:23.800 And the worst place this is that I have found New York and California.

01:32:27.900 We've had more protections put in and the Constitution strengthened on the First Amendment over the last three years, thanks to Donald Trump.

01:32:42.500 But it doesn't seem to matter right now what the Constitution says.

01:32:46.520 Yeah, I really do think it's a dichotomy right now.

01:32:51.420 I mean, we're in let me sort of bad news, good news, I guess.

01:32:54.800 Bad news is we're in a huge battle right now for whether the government controls, you know, the church, whether the government controls the First Amendment.

01:33:11.840 We won every case we filed during the pandemic and we filed smart lawsuits.

01:33:16.900 We knew how difficult it would be to win when judges are going, well, I don't want to overrule somebody who's trying to protect public health.

01:33:24.440 We filed the right ones and we established a lot of good law.

01:33:28.220 Well, then a lot of people started filing lawsuits that weren't so so smart.

01:33:32.160 And you had some bad judges that were filed in bad places.

01:33:37.540 Nobody knows whether the Constitution is going to protect them or not.

01:33:42.200 And so we're we're fighting this out.

01:33:44.440 I hope eventually we get a good case to the Supreme Court and we can clear this up.

01:33:49.320 But in in the meantime, right now, it's just chaos because there are a lot of crazy lawsuits and crazy judges and crazy mayors that that or governors that are doing things that are clearly unconstitutional.

01:34:02.280 But, you know, you've got to get into the courts and you've got to get these things corrected.

01:34:07.300 And unfortunately, it takes time.

01:34:09.520 And right now we don't know where we're going to end up at the end of this, because I'll tell you this.

01:34:13.480 If the rule is that if the government if a government official declares an emergency, then your rights are gone.

01:34:20.520 Then none of us have any rights because any government official can declare an emergency.

01:34:24.360 And so things like, you know, you can you can't sing at church because, you know, you're because that's a danger for spreading the virus.

01:34:35.280 But you can scream with, you know, 10,000 people at a protest.

01:34:39.280 I mean, that's just complete nonsense.

01:34:41.120 And it's clearly discriminatory and it's clearly unconstitutional.

01:34:46.180 But that's what's happening out there.

01:34:48.620 We had one situation, Glenn, where they were going to have a worship outside and the county was telling them that it was illegal for them to worship outside on the beach.

01:35:04.080 I will tell people, though, we we are winning these lawsuits if you follow them, if you're smart.

01:35:09.080 And I think we're going to eventually define defines define smart.

01:35:15.320 Well, for instance, what is a smart lawsuit?

01:35:24.300 When we hit at this pandemic, we knew this was very dangerous.

01:35:28.120 There is no case law on what the Constitution says in a pandemic.

01:35:35.840 We were watching, you know, fathers throwing a baseball with their sons being arrested in front of their children.

01:35:44.160 And everybody was like, was the Constitution apply anymore?

01:35:48.240 And so we we knew the first case had to be the right case.

01:35:51.840 And so we filed a lawsuit.

01:35:54.240 We thought this was the right case.

01:35:55.620 It was right before Easter Sunday.

01:35:58.060 And it was a church in Louisville that was actually told they could not drive in their cars.

01:36:04.800 They were they were trying to have a service some way on Easter.

01:36:07.900 So they came in their cars.

01:36:09.900 They listened over the radio to the pastor.

01:36:12.920 You can't pass the virus from car to car.

01:36:15.600 All right.

01:36:16.300 And not only did they outlaw it, the governor of Kentucky had said they're going to go to every parking lot on Sunday, church parking lot, right down the license plate of every person.

01:36:27.460 And they were going to be visited their home by police and told that they had to be quarantined.

01:36:32.720 So this is like something from China.

01:36:34.620 And and so we we filed a federal lawsuit.

01:36:38.220 We got Judge Justin Walker, who, I mean, really laid the wood to the people of to the Louisville mayor and and what they were doing there and said, that is not what we do in this country.

01:36:51.960 And it was a great sort of reminder or bringing back the Constitution.

01:36:57.260 That's a smart, a smarter lawsuit.

01:37:04.540 The sort of Hail Mary type things that, you know, unless you get the right judge, you're not going to win because this is a new thing for a lot of these judges.

01:37:12.880 And so we have to come forward with good facts, with good arguments and and really file them in the right place, because this is a very important battle for the future of our country.

01:37:24.060 What does it mean if Donald Trump is not the president and we have the left take over with as many vacancies that are going to be on the Supreme Court and they could even pack the court?

01:37:42.880 To freedom when we're so close to losing it with this president and with the Constitution?

01:37:51.940 Yeah, I would I would tell people, like you said, Glenn, before the pandemic, even I mean, we were really turning the corner on.

01:38:06.660 We had a significant victory a year and a half ago at the Supreme Court in one of our cases that really was a major change, positive change for religious freedom.

01:38:22.320 And I think what would have been maybe 40 or 50 years if we can keep that going, obviously, that's wonderful for our country.

01:38:28.400 But if you like you said, if they pack the court, then the court is no longer a court.

01:38:34.080 It's just a political body, because whoever comes in next time, they'll just add people to the court, too.

01:50:04.280 It is crazy that your your First Amendment right to gather and and have the services that are essential, I believe, to the soul of each individual and soul of our nation.

01:50:21.300 But if you if you decide to engage in a peaceful protest, which looks an awful lot like a riot, you're fine.

01:50:30.680 Yeah, that's absolutely right.

01:50:32.540 It's the hypocrisy of it is.

01:50:36.220 It's just blatant double talk because they're they're out front with it all.

01:50:58.900 The governor basically had a decree a year or so ago in which he invited people who couldn't get an abortion in another state to come to California.

01:51:13.600 There's just what we feel is a targeting of churches based on fear, based on statistics that are not believable.

01:51:25.320 You know, just before we move on from abortion, it was Kamala Harris, now the vice presidential pick,

01:51:30.600 that actually began the litigation against the reporter that did the uncovering of the selling of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood.

01:51:44.140 That that that was Kamala Harris in California.

01:51:48.660 So so, John, you you are now standing up.

01:51:55.620 And did you ever think that you might in this country be put in a position of someday following the Dietrich Bonhoeffer kind of path where you go to jail for what you believe?

01:52:08.280 You know, it was a reality and increasingly so.

01:52:14.380 I've been at Grace Church 51 years.

01:52:18.160 Life was fairly benign a half a century ago in terms of the thought of persecution.

01:52:23.900 But in the last 10 or 15 years, this has been coming.

01:52:29.540 It's been coming because of the corruption of the university system, which eventually eventually puts everybody in leadership who has been jaded and sold an anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-American ideology.

01:52:42.460 So there's an inevitability to it.

01:52:44.640 So one way to understand this, Glenn, and I don't know what you're going to say tonight.

01:52:48.880 You kind of teased a little bit on that.

01:52:50.980 I don't know what you're going to say tonight, but I believe it already.

01:52:53.940 Even I don't know what it is, because you can just see the signs.

01:52:58.320 Just a simple way that I look at this from a biblical standpoint, the human race has fallen.

01:53:04.960 We know we're all sinners because everybody dies and the wages of sin is death and the soul that sins will die.

01:53:11.320 So death is the evidence of sin.

01:53:13.120 And so how does God manage to cause flourishing in this massive collision of sinners on the way to death?

01:53:22.120 He built into society four restraints.

01:53:24.860 The first one is the law of God written in the heart.

01:53:27.560 Part of being human is having the knowledge of right and wrong, and it's in the heart.

01:53:32.260 And then God gave a mechanism called the conscience, which is activated when you disobey that law in the heart.

01:53:38.040 That's why people feel guilty.

01:53:39.520 That's why there's deep fear, anxiety, depression, sometimes panic attacks over people's sinful behavior.

01:53:48.060 That's a mechanism that God gives them so they don't continually destroy the soul.

01:53:53.000 The second mechanism, by the way, the law of God in the heart has a weapon.

01:53:56.620 The weapon is conscience.

01:53:57.920 The second mechanism is the family and the father and the mother.

01:54:02.200 And believe it or not, the weapon is the rod.

01:54:04.380 The Bible talks about bear the rod and spoil the child.

01:54:07.500 What that means is that there is loving discipline for misbehavior so that misbehavior has consequences.

01:54:15.740 The third is the government.

01:54:18.020 And Romans 13 basically says the government has a sword.

01:54:21.840 That's their weapon to punish evildoers and protect those who do good.

01:54:25.500 And the fourth restraint in society are the people of God, the church, that are salt and light, salt as a quiet influence, light as a blazing declaration of truth.

01:54:35.700 So given those four restraints, am I surprised that basically the law written in the heart has been completely overturned and replaced with a corrupt, perverted law?

01:54:46.800 And if your conscience gives you any trouble, you need to silence your conscience because you don't need to take any blame for anything you do.

01:54:55.940 You shouldn't have any shame.

01:54:57.720 So the conscience and the law of God in the heart has been devastated systematically through the sexual revolution, homosexual revolution, and all the other stuff that comes with it, the Me Too movement, social justice, everything.

01:55:10.040 Then the family, the family is the next barrier, the next restraint that allows humanity to flourish.

01:55:16.560 And what's happened to the family is just complete devastation to the family to the degree that there is law being made to give some kind of normalcy to transgender people.

01:55:30.640 So the family is under assault.

01:55:32.780 Next comes the government, defund the police.

01:55:35.160 You have a generation of people milling around in the streets, destroying everything because there never have been any consequences to their behavior as they grew up.

01:55:44.220 So now we want to get rid of the police.

01:55:45.880 Well, who's next?

01:55:47.040 There's only one institution left, and that's the church.

01:55:50.960 The police have a sword.

01:55:53.100 The father and mom have a rod.

01:55:55.380 The law of God in the heart has a conscience.

01:55:57.300 The church has the truth.

01:55:58.480 That's the most deadly weapon of all to a world that wants to run from God and do everything that the sinful heart longs to do.

01:56:09.780 So silencing the church is part of it.

01:56:12.380 So did I expect that it would come in my lifetime?

01:56:15.320 Probably.

01:56:16.980 Probably.

01:56:18.480 I don't know that this is something that has come as fast as it appears.

01:56:23.380 I think it's it's been growing for decades.

01:56:28.940 No, I think it's you know, you you've never gone in for a prostate exam and you're 70.

01:56:35.660 Well, all of a sudden you're you've got a month to live.

01:56:38.980 Well, you could have seen it coming, but you didn't look.

01:56:42.200 And many of us just turned away and we didn't look.

01:56:45.540 And and so we didn't realize we were being rotted from the inside out.

01:56:49.920 But, you know, I I've talked to a lot of people and I said, you know, it actually gave me a lot of hope if if Jesus were coming, because I know he could fix it and he will when he comes.

01:57:04.620 But I also wouldn't be surprised if this this was the beginning of the end of days, if you will.

01:57:11.520 So do you do you find that more and more people are going, you know, I mean, are we approaching those times?

01:57:24.180 Well, you know, Jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour.

01:57:27.400 So I'm not one to speculate, but I've never seen as many people hope it's soon as there are hoping now.

01:57:37.340 Yeah.

01:57:37.500 So but I think there's another thing to look at in the first chapter of the book of Romans.

01:57:43.100 There's a verse, verse 18, that says the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

01:57:50.860 No nation has ever held the truth and been unrighteous at the same time to the degree that the United States has obviously founded on Christian values, founded on biblical principles.

01:58:02.760 We've held the truth for the duration of our national identity, but we have held the truth increasingly in unrighteousness.

01:58:10.760 And the Bible says God's wrath will be revealed.

01:58:13.280 And here's how it defines that wrath in that same chapter.

01:58:16.680 God gave them over.

01:58:17.880 That's a Greek term that means handing someone over to the sentence, to execution, to jail or whatever, to legal.

01:58:25.640 So God handed them over.

01:58:27.560 And first of all, to immorality.

01:58:30.340 So the first way you know that a culture has been handed over by God is there will be a sexual revolution.

01:58:37.940 And God says, I'm going to turn you over to the consequences of your evil choices.

01:58:42.960 Two verses later, it says God gave them over to homosexuality.

01:58:47.020 So when you see a sexual revolution followed by a homosexual revolution, you're living Romans 1.

01:58:53.720 The third statement is he gave them over to a reprobate mind.

01:58:57.920 What I used to wonder, what is a reprobate mind, a mind that doesn't work?

01:59:02.120 That's when you look at yourself and you're a man and you say, I'm a woman.

01:59:06.440 That's insanity.

01:59:07.440 And out of that insanity, it becomes impossible to go back because all rationality is gone.

01:59:13.820 So I think what we're seeing in America is the wrath of God in Romans 1 revealed on a society and the evidence of it is sexual revolution, homosexual revolution, followed by a reprobate mind.

01:59:26.320 So that America kind of looks like the Jerry Springer show.

01:59:31.460 It's just deviation for the sake of entertainment.

01:59:35.440 And the chapter ends by saying, even though they know these things are wrong, they not only do them, but they approve them.

01:59:43.580 They clap.

01:59:44.540 They applaud at deviation and perversion.

01:59:48.120 That's a cyclical kind of thing.

01:59:51.340 And the Bible also says God has allowed all the nations to go their own way.

01:59:54.780 So we're not the first nation who's gone down this path.

01:59:57.860 This is pretty much how history goes.

02:00:00.320 So whether this is just our end or whether this is the apocalyptic end of everything, I don't know.

02:00:07.520 But certainly the wrath of God has been released on this country.

02:00:11.180 It doesn't mean there's no grace.

02:00:13.380 There is always grace.

02:00:15.420 This is the day of salvation.

02:00:17.340 Come to Christ.

02:00:18.180 That's our message.

02:00:19.280 Escape the wrath.

02:00:20.360 Escape the judgment.

02:00:21.940 And God will show you grace.

02:00:23.280 But I think America is experiencing that judgment.

02:00:27.860 You don't hear people say those things anymore, John.

02:00:34.000 And I appreciate your willingness to stand up and say what you believe and call your church back and be willing to go to jail for the things that you believe are true.
