We may have now our first Black, I m sorry, I'm sorry, first Indian-Jamaican female president this next term because of Joe Biden s decision to endorse Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination. Glenn explains why this is a big deal.
00:00:00.000American finance. I love American finance. I have to tell you, if you haven't considered refinancing or consolidating a loan yet, you are really, really missing the boat.
00:00:13.580I know somebody who got a loan in the twos. I mean, that's that's insane.
00:00:19.920Is that even an interest rate? Do they actually do that?
00:00:22.040I know I I've never even I've heard of the in the threes, but not in the twos. You've got to call American financing right now.
00:00:31.520Their number is 800-906-2440 or just visit American financing dot net.
00:00:37.580They will help you save. I mean, a buttload of money and my butt.
00:00:43.300I mean, it could hold a lot of money. It's especially after covid more and more every day.
00:02:10.460And that was, you know, that was the best thing that he did.
00:02:16.500When the house went on the market, it was four days before the entire state shut down because of covid.
00:02:24.840But Brian, the real estate agent, went above and beyond all expectations, helped Robert ride out the storm, took advantage of the downtime to help him solve a number of issues with the property.
00:02:34.560Remember, Robert's, you know, a long way away, hours away from this property.
00:02:39.000So it really was Brian who really helped Robert out on this property.
00:02:44.440It was in better condition when it was listed again.
00:02:46.760When the state reopened, the property sold just a few days after that.
00:02:52.240And Rob was grateful that he went to real estate agents.
00:05:39.940She is she is somebody who is a cop seems to be pro cop, but I don't know how that's going to help her.
00:05:50.620I worry about that because I think that's that helps her with the people who are independent or the Democrats who are worried about this, this insanity that is going on in our streets.
00:06:03.800But she also has some real, real issues.
00:06:35.720And listen to what Kamala said and listen to the glee she has in her voice.
00:06:40.720We created what we call the D.A. mediation program where we assigned prosecutors to go and sit with the administrators and principals when they met with all the parents.
00:06:50.100And frankly, you know, the prosecutors in my office who volunteered to do this, my homicide prosecutors, my gang prosecutors.
00:06:59.440And they went over there and I said, when you go over there, look really mean.
00:07:04.640And invariably, the parents said, well, who's the mean looking dude?
00:07:07.780And the principal would say, well, that's someone that mean D.A. Kamala Harris sent over here because she said she's going to start prosecuting you if we can't work this out.
00:07:18.100And through that initiative, we found cases like the case of the woman who was by herself raising her three children, holding down two jobs and homeless.
00:07:34.240But by shining this infrared spotlight of public safety on the fact that her children aren't in school, we were able to figure that out.
00:07:45.780She when she said she just needed help, she just needed to be threatened by a big, scary officer of the law and threatened to put her in jail.
00:08:00.900She she loves jail for some people and doesn't love jail for other people.
00:12:05.880That shows you how much they hate Donald Trump.
00:12:09.640That they will vote for a guy who they don't think can finish his term.
00:12:15.840So he needed somebody that everybody knew that he that had some kind of real experience in government at the time, I think, for the independents to be able to say, no, no, no, we've got a we've got an attorney general here.
00:12:36.140We've got somebody who knows about the law and can get this thing under control and somebody that people would feel comfortable with.
00:12:45.260All the while, you'll notice how many times stories are started now with historic pick.
00:12:52.220It's a historic pick because you're going to start hearing the possibility of Joe Biden not making it from the mainstream media.
00:13:01.600You're going to start hearing that because it will be a another Barack Obama.
00:13:26.020Now, you don't really even hear that, but it's kind of a hard sell because in India they have a caste system and the Brahmins are the very top.
00:14:09.920I mean, she's in Seattle, so I'm sure she's a progressive, et cetera, et cetera.
00:14:12.900But I think she actually cares about law and order, and I would reach out to Carmen Best.
00:14:21.020I don't really even care about the vice presidential role, but Donald Trump needs a strategy for the inner cities.
00:14:28.980And I think Americans and independents look at Carmen Best and say she was at least reasonable.
00:14:35.800And bring her in and make her some sort of a, oh, geez, some sort of a czar, some some sort of a community outreach that can work with these cities that are under siege and bring her into the fold.
00:14:54.940Because he needs to have a strategy for law and order, because that's, I think, the only thing that she that Kamala Harris brings beside the fact that she, you know, she doesn't like, you know, she doesn't like Catholics.
00:15:12.900She she she also thinks that abortion should be on demand at any time.
00:15:24.560She has she was the first prosecutor to use California eavesdropping laws against a journalist.
00:15:30.920She's the one that that brought the lawsuit against the the journalist that that got the the tapes of Planned Parenthood selling body parts.
00:15:41.360That that was her that got the charges brought against him.
00:15:46.220She she believes that pro-lifers should be treated like segregationists.
00:16:20.280Well, she might be able to unite on the fact that she doesn't like gun owners, pro-lifers, homeschoolers, traditional religions, because they all have reason to fear persecution in an administration where she has sway.
00:16:33.420And I do believe she will be the next president.
00:16:37.440I can't believe there is a group of people that want to elect somebody that they at the top of the ticket that they believe is out.
00:16:48.500But apparently that's enough for some people.
00:18:08.860This is this is when everyone who either said that they would never vote for Bernie in the general election or argued that he could never win because he's a socialist.
00:18:16.700Jew will attack anyone criticizing Harris for strategic or moral reasons as handing the election to Trump.
00:18:23.320Is she another Hillary Clinton or is she a real danger?
00:18:29.780More on this coming up in just a second.
00:18:32.520Let me stop for 60 seconds to tell you about shave secret.
00:18:40.520They're all coming out because people are replacing all of the foams and the gels and the shaving equipment and the 12 different razor blades, all of this stuff with one little bottle.
00:18:52.480It's really great, especially if you travel.
00:18:55.240But it should tell you how long this is going to last by the size of the bottle.
00:19:00.040It is revolutionizing the way you shave.
00:19:03.960Here's one one report came in from Travis.
00:19:08.040He said, not only does it smell great, but it leaves your skin feeling soft without aftershave.
00:20:21.680We have a few really, really crazy Justice Democrats, you know, single-payer health care, the Green New Deal, all the insane things that the far left love.
00:22:30.540Let me tell you about, honey, this is something you should do right now.
00:22:35.880You need to start saving money in every way you possibly can.
00:22:40.700So, when we give you a promo code, don't forget promo code back, you have to remember that.
00:22:48.760The thing with Honey is it's a free browser extension that goes through the Internet for all the promo codes and applies the best one it finds to your cart.
00:24:19.060You won't recognize, uh, you won't recognize her.
00:24:21.800Or I should say that the people in California that she works with won't recognize her.
00:24:26.820Uh, she is terrified to come on because it is a cabal with the teachers union.
00:24:33.680And she believes that she will lose her job and be destroyed.
00:24:38.920And she won't be able to help work from within to fix the problem.
00:24:43.840But, uh, she says in San Diego, all of the teachers had to go through a new course because they're going to be teaching the kids critical theory, which is Marxism.
00:24:55.220Uh, and she's going to be on with us to talk about what's happening in the school districts, especially out in California.
00:25:02.140Uh, we have an hour, uh, with her and another guest that is, uh, also, uh, very outspoken on what's going on and what you need to do tonight on blaze TV.
00:25:17.460Stu is going to be doing Stu does America.
00:25:19.980Uh, and tonight I imagine you're doing Kamala Harris.
00:25:25.780Some of the interesting parts about, uh, her background, you know, the fact that she's absolutely no moderate, uh, and the idea that, uh, the media seems to think that Biden chose her to help with the black vote, which is not what is happening here at all.
00:32:00.660And it will mean the end of the dollar and the supremacy of the dollar.
00:32:07.540It will be the end of capitalism as we know it.
00:32:10.840The reason why, um, they don't care about the small businessman.
00:32:15.500They only care about the global giant corporations.
00:32:19.360And those giant corporations will play ball with this.
00:32:23.420They did in, in Germany with national socialism.
00:32:26.800The difference between communism and national socialism is one is workers of the world unite.
00:32:33.540And we're going to take all of the companies and we're going to hold it as the government until everybody calms down and everybody's on board.
00:32:44.240And then we're just going to share everything.
00:32:56.540It is a hybrid where the government tells the corporations what to do, how to behave, what to manufacture, picks all of the winners and losers.
00:33:08.800Uh, and, and, and, and they never say, we're going to give it all to the people.
00:33:15.360They say, we're going to share it with the people.
00:33:18.020But when they say the people, they really mean government.
00:33:22.020Uh, that is the people, the government is the people.
00:33:25.500And all of this is, is coming your way, uh, and going to be decided by, are we going through in this episode, all of the people that are involved who are going to be sitting at that table?
00:33:40.580And that's what, when you think, Oh, Glenn Beck, this is never going to happen.
00:33:44.100You know, they, they wouldn't have the power to pull this off.
00:33:46.380I want you with some of the people we call out members of the IMF members of the European central bank.
00:33:52.360I mean, think about just the IMF and we talked about Bretton Woods, Bretton Woods was, that's where they created the IMF.
00:33:59.000Now you have that group at the head of the table supporting this saying, Oh yeah, we're going to get this done.
00:34:04.940Uh, the people that are involved in this is the, the, the top of the top of the top of the food chain in both politics, business, everything.
00:34:14.600And it's, it's stunning to me how many Americans in our government and how many Americans in business, top of the food chain of global American corporations are in and have been in on this for a while.
00:34:45.040You and I have had long conversations on just trying to see who are all the people that are involved in, you know, all the different people that are connected.
00:34:50.840You know, we did these shows, not even thinking about who might be connected over the past several months, but we did the show on event to one.
00:34:57.280We're like, that's kind of weird that, you know, the, the same people involved in gen 21, 10, 20, 30, they were there.
00:35:01.820You know, that's kind of strange, you know, and who's this group that was bankrolling them?
00:35:05.160The world economic forum, who, who are they?
00:35:07.160This is, this is kind of strange, the forced recession, you know, that's kind of strange.
00:35:11.040Why would they think that they could just force us into recession?
00:35:44.220So the head guy of MI6, he's, he's giving information through back channels and helping with the impeachment and all of the stuff with, uh, with Russia.
00:39:47.600Well, I, I have to tell you, I saw this headline and I had to share it and there's nothing more
00:39:59.840than the headline really to the story.
00:40:02.580It's, it's actually not a misleading headline.
00:40:05.820Upstate New York mayor killed as guacamole machine explodes.
00:40:11.180Now, now I looked into this story because I'm like, I can't be, what's a guacamole machine?
00:40:19.260Well, they were actually making a high pressure guacamole machine and he was there testing it and it exploded and it killed him.
00:40:30.540And, you know, there are those days in my life where a lot of them recently, where if somebody said, Hey, I'm going to give you a, a new high pressure guacamole machine.
00:40:42.300And even if I had read that story, I think I'd take it.
00:50:17.520But I can tell you that it is endorsed by the California Department of Education, the California School Board Association, the Association of California School Administrators, Bay Area Schools, the California Conservation Corps, and a bunch of other districts who have hired them.
00:51:55.340That's why we're not getting anywhere.
00:51:56.900That's why we can't agree to disagree.
00:51:59.000That's why we can't talk about the real issues of what's going on.
00:52:02.580That's why we can't talk about, I mean, I am a white female teacher.
00:52:06.840And I have had reverse racism against me multiple times in my own classroom.
00:52:11.540I walk on eggshells around my students of color because I want to make sure that they know that I love them, that I care about them, that I want them to succeed.
00:52:20.020Because I've had more experiences than I can count where if a black student doesn't get the grade they want, they're storming my door.
00:54:21.880Children should be raised by a tribe, not a nuclear family with two parents.
00:54:27.320So that's where you see parental rights being taken away slowly in school.
00:54:30.820So that's what I mean by this has been a slow kind of fade away from, I mean, don't talk to your parents about, you know, if you feel like you have homosexual feeling.
00:54:43.040Don't talk to your parents if you feel like you're a boy and you're really a girl.
00:54:46.640And teachers will tell you, and to some extent, I agree, there is a safety thing with parents at home because you don't know how parents are going to react to that.
00:54:56.340But in this training, they actually said, do not talk to your parents about this because they might not be enlightened enough to realize their own racism within them.
00:55:13.240And I've been reading article and article and article now about teachers being worried because now we're all at home learning that parents, when they get their curriculum at home, they're going to go, wait, my kid's being taught this?
00:55:32.900So this fall, virtual class discussions will have many potential spectators, parents, siblings, et cetera, in the same room.
00:55:39.160We'll never be quite sure who's overhearing the discussions.
00:55:43.080What does this do for our equity inclusion work?
00:55:47.200How much have students depended on the somewhat secure barriers of our physical classrooms to encourage vulnerability?
00:55:53.320How many of us have installed some version of what happens here stays here?
00:55:58.300While conversations about race are in my wheelhouse and remain a concern with a no walls environment, I am most intrigued by the damage of the helicopter snowplow parents who can do honest conversations about gender and sexuality.
00:56:12.120I mean, conservative, he goes on, conservative parents are my chief concern.
00:57:03.720So, tell me how many other teachers feel this way, like you do, that you're just, you've seen the slow boil, but now you realize this thing is boiling over.
00:57:16.580It's complete, it's teaching now dangerous things.
00:58:53.680But, again, the scary part was they never actually defined what critical theory is, which talks about, like I said in the beginning, the scientific method is false.
01:02:26.380So, now the next step is, if you have a system to where you are having to teach children things that you know the parents are not going to like,
01:02:53.920and the parents are going to find out about it, then you have to trap the parents into those schools.
01:03:02.120If you're going to take, if you're going to teach them that the community is really their parent and not their parents,
01:03:10.180and that their parents don't know stuff because they're not enlightened,
01:03:13.640you're not going to get away with that for very long unless the parent is trapped.
01:03:19.380Well, Governor Newsom is trapping parents into these schools now.
01:03:24.980If you hire a tutor that's outside of the system, you're now going to be hit with penalties.
01:03:33.940And you're not going to be able to afford it.
01:03:37.980They're doing everything they can to trap your kids into schools.
01:08:11.320I'm still on radio in San Diego, which is AM 600 Kogo.
01:08:16.520But I can tell you right now, even San Diego is drifting farther to the left because, frankly, Republicans in California have not been fighting back.
01:08:26.060They've allowed Democrats like Kamala Harris to take over our state politics without much of a fight.
01:08:33.700AB5, this law that they passed and went into effect earlier this year, basically bans independent contractors.
01:08:42.660You're not allowed to hire an accountant.
01:08:46.600You're not allowed to hire a graphic designer.
01:08:49.360You're not allowed to hire anyone under an independent contract.
01:08:54.040And the reason why the Democrats are trying to implement AB5 is that, number one, they ultimately want you to be in a union because the government unions and the trade unions will bankroll Democrat political campaigns with the dues of the members.
01:09:12.100When you're an employee versus an independent contractor, you have to pay payroll tax, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation.
01:09:21.220You have to make all sorts of filings with the government.
01:09:24.020And you also are subject to labor law.
01:09:26.540And the Democrats have done an extraordinary job making labor law so complicated that the plaintiff attorneys out there, which who are Democrats and contribute to Democrats, can shake down small businesses with frivolous lawsuits.
01:09:40.780And so this is part of a larger plan, Glenn, to really take over every means of production in the economy by getting everyone classified as a full-time employee.
01:09:51.880And I'm telling you, I talk to independent contractors.
01:10:03.880An event planner wants to do event planning, whereas if they get a full-time job at a corporation, they may only be able to do event planning a third of the time or a quarter of the time because, frankly, the company doesn't need more than that.
01:10:20.320And the only people who benefit from it, besides trial attorneys, are Democrat politicians who get campaign contributions and higher taxes.
01:10:32.320AB5 was authored by a former labor union leader, Lorena Gonzalez, who's now in the state assembly.
01:10:39.880And this is very unusual, but Joe Biden, running for president, took time out of his campaign three weeks ago to tweet his support for AB5, this little-known state law in California.
01:10:55.860And so to your point that you made at the opening, absolutely, this is going to happen nationwide if Joe Biden is elected president.
01:11:04.200Every single independent contractor needs to think twice about this election because you can talk to people here in California who are Democrats.
01:11:15.220I'm talking about musicians, event planners, drivers, artists, drivers.
01:11:21.900They're Democrats, but they've been put out of work because of AB5 in California, and that law is going to put those same people out of work in every state in the union if we elect Joe Biden.
01:11:33.140Because he's endorsed the law, and he wants to make it the law of the land.
01:11:39.780If you hire a tutor now, you have to obey this law.
01:11:45.020Do you think that this is just about the unions, or is it also to kind of hold hostage the parents who can't – I mean, one of the things that's happening around the country,
01:11:56.540people are hiring tutors, and, you know, it's five families, and they go in, they hire somebody, and it's a contractor, and they, you know, have their kids go to school.
01:12:06.460You know, the five families put together one teacher, and they kind of do it themselves.
01:12:11.920That's what's the trend now in America.
01:12:16.820Is this only about labor unions, or is this about more than that?
01:12:21.740I think this is an unintended side benefit for the Democrats who don't want kids to actually go to school at home.
01:12:31.440When Governor Gavin Newsom and other blue state governors shut down the schools, they did it not because science demonstrated some sort of risk for kids to be in those schools.
01:12:43.460They did it because the powerful teachers' unions demanded it.
01:12:46.400The teachers' unions want to be able to have their members collect a full paycheck without actually having to go into school and do the work.
01:12:53.080Everyone notes that online and distance learning is not effective for keeping our kids on pace to achieve educational outcomes.
01:13:00.940And so parents, as you just said, have taken it on their own to talk to each other and, you know, pass the hat to hire a tutor, to hire a teacher, to create what they call pod schools, little tiny pod learning opportunities.
01:13:15.900And now under AB5, if the parents did that, they will open themselves up to penalties and fines.
01:13:21.600Governor Gavin Newsom, in the midst of a pandemic, decided to put $20 million into the state budget to enforce AB5.
01:13:32.760Remember, we're $56 billion in deficit.
01:13:36.220But he somehow came up with $20 million to enforce AB5 in the middle of a pandemic.
01:13:42.500That's how aggressive they are being in enforcing this law.
01:13:46.840So next year, when those tutors, when those teachers who were paid as independent contractors, because that's how all the parents are doing it, hey, let me give you some money and then I'll just issue you a 1099 at the end of the year.
01:14:00.400When they file their taxes, they will have to report all of that income that they earned from parents for tutoring on Schedule C of their IRS forms.
01:14:09.820The state of California will pull that data, issue a notice, a demand notice to the tutor asking them for a list of their clients and a copy of their contract, any sort of paperwork to demonstrate what did you do, what were the terms and conditions.
01:14:25.860And none of that will pass muster under AB5.
01:14:29.040The parents then will be penalized for back taxes, unemployment, workers' compensation.
01:14:34.500They will also be imposed, a fine will be imposed on top of them.
01:14:40.300The reason why we did the press conference was twofold.
01:14:42.560Number one is we wanted to warn parents, hey, you're going to get smacked if you do this.
01:14:47.680And number two, we wanted to point out just how flawed the AB5 law is, that it would basically create a crime if parents decided to hire tutors.
01:15:00.480And the state of California basically put out guidance saying, yeah, tutors and teachers are covered under AB5 and that this is a real possibility that they would be penalized.
01:15:15.040I think I know the answer because I live in Texas and I also part time live in Idaho.
01:15:21.800Both states are being decimated by people coming in from California.
01:15:27.700But what is the temperature of the people in California?
01:15:30.900Are they are is everybody cool with this or have they overstepped or do the average California just like, yeah, man, we're fine with not going to work.
01:15:43.740And I mean, what is the temperature there?
01:15:46.760The temperature is when you when you when you talk to them about what's actually happening, most of them are not aware because the liberal media out here will not give them any bad news.
01:15:56.980They will not report on any of these scams.
01:15:59.540They won't report on the damage that AB5 has already done.
01:16:03.220And so when they find out, they're shocked.
01:16:05.360They're surprised and they don't understand.
01:16:08.740And they try to contact assembly members or state senators and they're getting getting the runaround.
01:16:13.920And so on issues, I believe that Californians are still closet conservatives.
01:16:56.240I do believe that there are conservatives and moderates in California that, if given leadership, will go in a new direction.
01:17:05.580But what's happening is that those same people, to your point, are giving up in California and moving elsewhere.
01:17:12.160And the irony here is that for every sane, moderate or conservative Californian who gets disgusted and leaves the state of California, you have four liberals that can no longer afford California.
01:17:26.560And so they move into places like Nevada, like Arizona, like even Texas, and turn those states purple and trending towards blue.
01:17:36.400These are liberals who cannot afford the policies that they have supported by putting people like Gavin Newsom and Lorena Gonzalez and Kamala Harris into office.
01:17:46.580I have to tell you, I've urged the governor of Texas to build a western and northern wall before even the southern wall.
01:17:53.740But maybe that's just me, Carl DeMaio, you can find out more information and help support.
01:18:02.280Just go to support CA California, CAParents.org.
01:18:32.260Decisions that are largely beyond your control are being made, whether your kids are going back to school or not this semester.
01:18:37.920And while going to school board, falling on your knees and screaming at the top of your lungs, they have to take your kids back because you're going to lose your mind if you don't.
01:18:49.340So you're going to be stuck at home with them for a little while longer.
01:18:51.720The good reason, among many, that you should look into getting SimpliSafe for your home, both outside where the criminals are and inside where it's even more frightening.

01:19:51.280This is Sarah Koenig, host of the Serial Podcast.
01:19:54.080I want to tell you about our new show, Nice White Parents.
01:19:56.840It's reported by Khanna Jaffe-Walt, who's made some of the best, most thought-provoking, most emotional radio stories I've ever heard.
01:20:03.860Back in 2015, Khanna wanted to find out what would happen inside this one public school in her neighborhood during a sudden influx of white students into a school that had barely had any white students before.
01:20:13.420And then, not satisfied that she fully understood what she was seeing, she went all the way back to the founding of the school in the 1960s, and then forward again up to the present day.
01:20:23.040And eventually, Khanna realized she could put a name to the unspoken force that kept getting in the way of making the school better.
01:20:45.720So, I said yesterday, what would happen if we just reversed that, took the exact same script, changed maybe some of the names, and changed one thing?
01:30:47.280I mean, you've got their decapitating statues of Jesus.
01:30:51.580I mean, the best example, and we've had hundreds and hundreds of churches calling us during this, you know, coronavirus attack on churches going on around the country.
01:31:00.880But I thought, and I don't know if you saw this going on, I bet you did, what happened in Portland two weekends ago, I thought was the visual of the entire, you know, last four months, which was they took a stack of Bibles and used those to ignite them to light the American flag.
01:31:19.520And to me, that was the visual, is if you're going to take America down, you've got to get rid of the church of religious freedom, because that kind of moral constraint gets in the way of oppressive governments.
01:31:33.280So, Kelly, there's a there's a few things.
01:31:37.900First of all, no one is no one is is really even speaking out about the the literal attacks on the churches.
01:31:47.900As you said, churches have had statues of Jesus desecrated and beheaded.
01:31:54.040You've had all kinds of of destruction being done to our churches, and nobody is saying anything.
01:32:01.120And that is not a coincidence when you have Marxists marching in the streets.
01:32:11.600Not recognizing all of the First Amendment, they'll say, oh, you have a right to protest if you're on the right side, but you don't have a right to make your own decisions when it comes to church.
01:32:23.800And the worst place this is that I have found New York and California.
01:32:27.900We've had more protections put in and the Constitution strengthened on the First Amendment over the last three years, thanks to Donald Trump.
01:32:42.500But it doesn't seem to matter right now what the Constitution says.
01:32:46.520Yeah, I really do think it's a dichotomy right now.
01:32:51.420I mean, we're in let me sort of bad news, good news, I guess.
01:32:54.800Bad news is we're in a huge battle right now for whether the government controls, you know, the church, whether the government controls the First Amendment.
01:33:04.060If I mean, we started out at First Liberty.
01:33:06.700We I mean, people can go, Glenn, if they want the first liberty dot Oregon.
01:33:11.840We won every case we filed during the pandemic and we filed smart lawsuits.
01:33:16.900We knew how difficult it would be to win when judges are going, well, I don't want to overrule somebody who's trying to protect public health.
01:33:44.440I hope eventually we get a good case to the Supreme Court and we can clear this up.
01:33:49.320But in in the meantime, right now, it's just chaos because there are a lot of crazy lawsuits and crazy judges and crazy mayors that that or governors that are doing things that are clearly unconstitutional.
01:34:02.280But, you know, you've got to get into the courts and you've got to get these things corrected.
01:34:09.520And right now we don't know where we're going to end up at the end of this, because I'll tell you this.
01:34:13.480If the rule is that if the government if a government official declares an emergency, then your rights are gone.
01:34:20.520Then none of us have any rights because any government official can declare an emergency.
01:34:24.360And so things like, you know, you can you can't sing at church because, you know, you're because that's a danger for spreading the virus.
01:34:35.280But you can scream with, you know, 10,000 people at a protest.
01:34:39.280I mean, that's just complete nonsense.
01:34:41.120And it's clearly discriminatory and it's clearly unconstitutional.
01:34:46.180But that's what's happening out there.
01:34:48.620We had one situation, Glenn, where they were going to have a worship outside and the county was telling them that it was illegal for them to worship outside on the beach.
01:36:16.300And not only did they outlaw it, the governor of Kentucky had said they're going to go to every parking lot on Sunday, church parking lot, right down the license plate of every person.
01:36:27.460And they were going to be visited their home by police and told that they had to be quarantined.
01:36:34.620And and so we we filed a federal lawsuit.
01:36:38.220We got Judge Justin Walker, who, I mean, really laid the wood to the people of to the Louisville mayor and and what they were doing there and said, that is not what we do in this country.
01:37:04.540The sort of Hail Mary type things that, you know, unless you get the right judge, you're not going to win because this is a new thing for a lot of these judges.
01:37:12.880And so we have to come forward with good facts, with good arguments and and really file them in the right place, because this is a very important battle for the future of our country.
01:37:24.060What does it mean if Donald Trump is not the president and we have the left take over with as many vacancies that are going to be on the Supreme Court and they could even pack the court?
01:37:42.880To freedom when we're so close to losing it with this president and with the Constitution?
01:37:51.940Yeah, I would I would tell people, like you said, Glenn, before the pandemic, even I mean, we were really turning the corner on.
01:38:00.720We've got so many good judges in that the law is starting to change.
01:38:03.960We're going back to the to the words of the Constitution.
01:38:06.660We had a significant victory a year and a half ago at the Supreme Court in one of our cases that really was a major change, positive change for religious freedom.
01:38:15.900And so the good news is, you know, we we we were really starting to turn things around.
01:38:22.320And I think what would have been maybe 40 or 50 years if we can keep that going, obviously, that's wonderful for our country.
01:38:28.400But if you like you said, if they pack the court, then the court is no longer a court.
01:38:34.080It's just a political body, because whoever comes in next time, they'll just add people to the court, too.
01:39:05.440Kelly, thank you so much for everything that you do.
01:39:07.820If you are looking to support an institution that really is making a difference and we need our first liberties more than ever, that we've got to protect the right of free speech, the right of religion.
01:39:23.140First Liberty is on it and they could use your support.
01:39:26.260It's first liberty dot org that first liberty dot org.
01:39:36.640I'm sure you're familiar with AARP, but did you know that there is a conservative alternative and it's called a Mac?
01:39:43.120It was founded by an Air Force veteran, Dan Weber.
01:39:46.000And when you go with a Mac, you're getting the true value for your membership.
01:39:50.440You're going to get the things like the discounts on your car insurance and hotels, roadside assistance, dental plans.
01:39:55.720You'll get cell phone service options that you might not otherwise have many benefits that will make your life a lot easier and save you money.
01:41:42.740But they're convinced that we are so far behind that we're not going to make it.
01:41:50.760And I don't believe that I do believe that if we can wake enough people up, there's enough good people in this country that that do have common sense.
01:42:05.040They do understand what our liberties are really all about.
01:42:28.780We talked to a brave, brave teacher from California today.
01:42:32.960She wanted her voice disguised because she's doomed if they find out who she is.
01:42:37.420This is really, truly what it means at the very beginning.
01:42:47.920What it means to say with firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
01:43:01.240We don't rely enough on divine providence, not enough of us believe in divine providence.
01:43:10.240But if we live the way we're supposed to live, if we commit ourselves to follow in his footsteps, he does not want to see liberties lost globally.
01:43:30.840God created us and gave us these liberties.
01:43:35.920And he is not on the side of anybody who is trying to take the liberty away from anybody else.
01:43:42.040We must be on the side of liberty, which means even when we don't like somebody else's liberty, the way they're exercising their liberty, we have to stand up for them.
01:43:52.020Even if they're getting what they deserve and, you know, oh, gee, oh, you've been canceled.
01:46:51.740There's still the Restoring Hope special.
01:46:53.660If you haven't seen that, you really need to.
01:46:56.460Our preparedness guide for the Marxist revolution.
01:46:59.180Also, some clips from my headline news show in 2008 that one of somebody on our staff was going back through the archives and they found this and they were like, oh, my gosh, listen to what you were talking about in 2008.
01:47:52.040And it is being pushed now by the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the U.N., and some of the biggest corporations in America and some of the biggest politicians in the world.
01:50:04.280It is crazy that your your First Amendment right to gather and and have the services that are essential, I believe, to the soul of each individual and soul of our nation.
01:50:58.900The governor basically had a decree a year or so ago in which he invited people who couldn't get an abortion in another state to come to California.
01:51:07.080You could get it here funded by tax money.
01:51:09.980So there's no moral high ground there.
01:51:13.600There's just what we feel is a targeting of churches based on fear, based on statistics that are not believable.
01:51:25.320You know, just before we move on from abortion, it was Kamala Harris, now the vice presidential pick,
01:51:30.600that actually began the litigation against the reporter that did the uncovering of the selling of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood.
01:51:44.140That that that was Kamala Harris in California.
01:51:48.660So so, John, you you are now standing up.
01:51:55.620And did you ever think that you might in this country be put in a position of someday following the Dietrich Bonhoeffer kind of path where you go to jail for what you believe?
01:52:08.280You know, it was a reality and increasingly so.
01:52:18.160Life was fairly benign a half a century ago in terms of the thought of persecution.
01:52:23.900But in the last 10 or 15 years, this has been coming.
01:52:29.540It's been coming because of the corruption of the university system, which eventually eventually puts everybody in leadership who has been jaded and sold an anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-American ideology.
01:54:18.020And Romans 13 basically says the government has a sword.
01:54:21.840That's their weapon to punish evildoers and protect those who do good.
01:54:25.500And the fourth restraint in society are the people of God, the church, that are salt and light, salt as a quiet influence, light as a blazing declaration of truth.
01:54:35.700So given those four restraints, am I surprised that basically the law written in the heart has been completely overturned and replaced with a corrupt, perverted law?
01:54:46.800And if your conscience gives you any trouble, you need to silence your conscience because you don't need to take any blame for anything you do.
01:54:57.720So the conscience and the law of God in the heart has been devastated systematically through the sexual revolution, homosexual revolution, and all the other stuff that comes with it, the Me Too movement, social justice, everything.
01:55:10.040Then the family, the family is the next barrier, the next restraint that allows humanity to flourish.
01:55:16.560And what's happened to the family is just complete devastation to the family to the degree that there is law being made to give some kind of normalcy to transgender people.
01:55:32.780Next comes the government, defund the police.
01:55:35.160You have a generation of people milling around in the streets, destroying everything because there never have been any consequences to their behavior as they grew up.
01:55:44.220So now we want to get rid of the police.
01:56:18.480I don't know that this is something that has come as fast as it appears.
01:56:23.380I think it's it's been growing for decades.
01:56:28.940No, I think it's you know, you you've never gone in for a prostate exam and you're 70.
01:56:35.660Well, all of a sudden you're you've got a month to live.
01:56:38.980Well, you could have seen it coming, but you didn't look.
01:56:42.200And many of us just turned away and we didn't look.
01:56:45.540And and so we didn't realize we were being rotted from the inside out.
01:56:49.920But, you know, I I've talked to a lot of people and I said, you know, it actually gave me a lot of hope if if Jesus were coming, because I know he could fix it and he will when he comes.
01:57:04.620But I also wouldn't be surprised if this this was the beginning of the end of days, if you will.
01:57:11.520So do you do you find that more and more people are going, you know, I mean, are we approaching those times?
01:57:24.180Well, you know, Jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour.
01:57:27.400So I'm not one to speculate, but I've never seen as many people hope it's soon as there are hoping now.
01:57:37.500So but I think there's another thing to look at in the first chapter of the book of Romans.
01:57:43.100There's a verse, verse 18, that says the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness.
01:57:50.860No nation has ever held the truth and been unrighteous at the same time to the degree that the United States has obviously founded on Christian values, founded on biblical principles.
01:58:02.760We've held the truth for the duration of our national identity, but we have held the truth increasingly in unrighteousness.
01:58:10.760And the Bible says God's wrath will be revealed.
01:58:13.280And here's how it defines that wrath in that same chapter.
01:59:07.440And out of that insanity, it becomes impossible to go back because all rationality is gone.
01:59:13.820So I think what we're seeing in America is the wrath of God in Romans 1 revealed on a society and the evidence of it is sexual revolution, homosexual revolution, followed by a reprobate mind.
01:59:26.320So that America kind of looks like the Jerry Springer show.
01:59:31.460It's just deviation for the sake of entertainment.
01:59:35.440And the chapter ends by saying, even though they know these things are wrong, they not only do them, but they approve them.
02:00:23.280But I think America is experiencing that judgment.
02:00:27.860You don't hear people say those things anymore, John.
02:00:34.000And I appreciate your willingness to stand up and say what you believe and call your church back and be willing to go to jail for the things that you believe are true.
02:00:50.680Thank you for being on the program, John.
02:01:12.600Hope springs eternal in America because it is in our hands.
02:01:17.300And everything that he just talked about, it's still in our hands.
02:01:21.680The economy, as it begins to recover from this pandemic and more and more businesses start to get back on their feet, they're going to need to hire good people.
02:01:29.580And that's where ZipRecruiter steps in.
02:01:31.260If you're one of those people who very soon will need to replenish your workforce, you need to check out ZipRecruiter today.
02:01:37.960It might be one of the best business decisions that you can make.
02:01:41.120ZipRecruiter is so effective, four out of five employers who post there get a quality candidate within the first day.
02:03:03.940A long-term listener has offered $3,000 to go to the Nazarene Fund to take in, I guess, these stupid pieces of useless paper towel with rubber bands on the side.
02:03:17.000I don't know if he actually wants me to send them to him.
02:03:19.080Well, I mean, it's a fair exchange, you know.
02:03:26.180Give him some useless paper towels for a mask and save some Christians.
