Home Title Lock is a great company because they are the only ones who can do something.
00:00:03.760
I think when you find a company that is the only one that can solve a problem,
00:00:11.120
This is one that we didn't even know this thing existed.
00:00:14.320
FBI says it's the fastest growing crime, you know, and cybercrime is big.
00:00:23.100
They're actually not stealing the stuff in your house.
00:00:38.220
Please check and see if your parents have been in crimes of this.
00:00:47.820
$100 search for free to make sure you haven't already been victimized.
00:01:02.760
I am wanting to say something and I'm just deciding now if I should say it or not.
00:01:18.220
And then I'll decide for sure if I'm going to say it or not.
00:01:28.540
We're going to play like 10 seconds of music after this commercial.
00:01:33.720
I have 10 seconds to ask you a very important question.
00:01:43.700
Because I didn't think about it until it started coming out of my mouth.
00:01:49.980
We've been sitting here for 40 minutes talking about the show.
00:01:56.260
If you already own a home, you might want to think about refinancing.
00:02:08.080
It was like, you know, you should probably be aware.
00:02:12.340
The bank thing is going to get really ugly soon.
00:02:16.740
I think loans are going to be very hard to get soon.
00:02:19.660
And when I say that, what I mean is I'm really bad at timing.
00:02:26.020
But sometime coming, loans are going to be harder to get than they were in 2008.
00:02:40.980
And the only people I would trust to do this, American financing.
00:02:44.920
They have an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.
00:02:57.540
When you sign the loan, you'll look down and you'll see how much they're charging.
00:03:08.400
So, make sure you have somebody on your side getting the best deal possible.
00:03:56.600
Seems like a difficult thing to get into is what I'm saying.
00:04:11.400
I would like to hear it in more than 10 seconds.
00:04:16.680
I would like to hear a more than 10 second thought out version of that argument.
00:04:42.240
We had Ben Shapiro, a good friend of ours, say something about pro-life and pro-life people.
00:04:53.640
It was run up every flagpole and he actually lost sponsors because of a statement that he made.
00:05:04.060
He made the statement, the pro-life statement that, you know, the guys who are standing up for pro-life, they believe in life.
00:05:12.840
They wouldn't have even killed Hitler as a baby.
00:05:24.700
No, they, as he went on to say, they would have said, let's put him in a good home.
00:05:32.140
You know, if you can go back in a time machine, would you kill Hitler?
00:05:37.940
And we don't kill people who have not yet committed crimes either.
00:05:47.280
He's also the victim of the most anti-Semitic attacks in the entire media.
00:05:55.040
I mean, how stupid do you have to be to believe these things?
00:06:09.420
Counting them up to the biggest outrage of the weekend.
00:06:25.020
And they are actually saying anti-Semitic things.
00:06:30.360
Now, we have said long ago, you don't know who these people are.
00:06:47.860
They were the greatest leaders, literally, the greatest leaders in the world.
00:07:03.860
Now, the Democrats are starting to say, these guys are really anti-Semites.
00:07:12.700
Because we have them on tape saying it, sitting while it's being said, and then defending what was said while they were sitting.
00:07:30.880
They get up and they say more anti-Semitic things.
00:07:38.880
Ben Shapiro saying that the pro-life people have such ethics that they believe that innocence is at birth.
00:07:52.220
That babies are innocent and they shouldn't be killed.
00:07:57.500
And they believe that so much, they wouldn't even kill baby Hitler.
00:08:06.040
That is like how many, how many, you know, crappy sci-fi shows, you know, are on, you know, like, didn't, it's almost like it could be a Star Trek where we've got, oh my gosh, we found ourselves in a time tunnel.
00:08:28.980
We don't kill innocent children is always the conclusion.
00:08:35.420
So, the anti-Semites saying anti-Semitic things gets nothing.
00:08:42.180
Ben Shapiro saying non-anti-Semitic things is basically called an anti-Semite for sticking up for babies.
00:08:59.020
And now, to the number one outrage of the weekend.
00:09:05.040
The number one outrage of the weekend has to be the kids from just across the water at Cincinnati, from the Catholic school, who are, in my opinion, Martin frickin' Luther King.
00:09:45.500
First of all, this particular Native American has a history of doing these things.
00:09:52.300
These were professionals going up a bunch of kids.
00:10:03.560
I'm going to give you all of the tape to prove all of these things.
00:10:06.720
First of all, what we have is the picture of the kid looking defiant, sneering at the poor old Vietnam veteran Native American with his drum.
00:10:30.600
Well, if you happen to watch all of the videotape, and you could spend about two hours, I spent about 45 minutes watching it, you kind of come back with a different impression.
00:10:45.020
First of all, the Native American walked up to the kid.
00:10:51.540
The group of Native Americans walked up to the group of kids, intentionally trying to antagonize them.
00:11:13.700
They were yelling, these are babies made out of incest.
00:11:30.260
A black man said, you all have one N-word in the crowd.
00:11:41.040
These kids, as I will show you with the audio, these kids held their ground.
00:11:48.280
This kid, I watched the entire confrontation with the kid that is now famous, his face.
00:11:55.200
This kid stood there just to say, you don't intimidate me.
00:12:01.000
Because that's what the Native American group was trying to do.
00:12:21.520
Instead, the Native Americans were saying to the white kids, go back to Europe.
00:12:42.480
Probably because he was in a stare down with an old Native American who was beating a drum.
00:12:48.060
And he had to have thought to himself at one point, this guy's an adult.
00:12:58.220
And I'm standing here with this guy and all of these people screaming at us.
00:13:05.320
And you hear many on many of the videotapes, people in the crowd going, what the hell is going on?
00:13:11.320
The boys, the Catholic boys going, what is going on?
00:13:15.700
Because they were all of a sudden under attack.
00:13:19.620
I'm going to play the audio when we come back of one of the kids.
00:13:23.080
One of the kids actually engaging because another Native American starts calling him names.
00:13:38.080
All you had to do was watch about two minutes of tape.
00:13:40.580
But that was too much, too much for the mainstream media to do.
00:13:54.740
We're going to get exposed the real story here in a second.
00:14:01.100
If your car needs repairs, don't pay for it yourself.
00:14:07.120
CarShield, if you have a car with 5,000 or 150,000 miles on it and you're out of warranty,
00:14:17.880
And I want you to find out about these people because they have pulled my butt out of the fire
00:14:24.420
when it comes to going in and just, I just need an oil change.
00:14:36.980
Those big moments that knock you off your financial path with huge repairs like that,
00:14:41.020
you don't have to worry about it because they're just taken care of.
00:14:48.580
Use the promo code BECK right now at CarShield.com.
00:15:03.660
And then we come back with a reminder of who Martin Luther King really was.
00:15:27.420
I'm interested in seeing your, because I mean, what's your explanation as to why these kids
00:15:32.820
I certainly haven't heard that one in the media.
00:15:36.760
But if you watch them, you will because they peaceful.
00:15:47.000
In fact, several times in watching the video, you will hear leaders.
00:15:54.300
I mean, kids who were taking a leadership position.
00:15:57.540
They're just a bunch of kids standing around waiting for a bus.
00:16:01.900
They didn't organize to all be a part of something.
00:16:05.400
They were already done with what they were doing.
00:16:08.480
So now here's a group of kids on their own waiting for the buses by the by the Lincoln Memorial.
00:16:13.460
And you will hear several times in the tape, kids saying to other kids, don't engage them.
00:16:26.980
First of all, the school condemned the kids without having knowledge.
00:16:30.600
And I understand the pressure of the school was under, et cetera, et cetera.
00:16:36.060
You should have waited and had more faith in your kids.
00:16:38.620
And I hope that you have a rally when you get back when they all get back to school today or tomorrow.
00:16:44.040
And you have a rally and you say to them, congratulations, you stood exactly the way Jesus Christ would have stood.
00:16:53.420
I don't know if Jesus Christ is smirking as much as that kid, but that's how I would have been in high school, too.
00:17:00.180
There's an absurdity of that moment when you're in it that would make me, I know in high school in particular, I would totally, the only thing I would be thinking about is the absurdity of what it looked like.
00:17:12.840
If you watch the tape, you can see that moment and it's a fleeting moment, okay?
00:17:19.180
And it is truly had to be, if you watch it, everybody's had this.
00:17:33.820
He's not making fun of this Native American at all.
00:17:42.140
You have to express some level of derogatory thought and he never does that.
00:17:47.100
So these kids, they're shouting about their school.
00:17:50.680
The Native Americans walk up and you can hear them taunting these white kids.
00:17:58.620
But only the kids on the periphery may, and I say may, be aware because it's cacophony.
00:18:06.160
And so if you're following the cameras from the Native American point of view, you're hearing them talk about these kids and talk about how these white kids are bad, blah, blah, blah.
00:18:20.160
But the kids are engaged in just doing school spirit stuff.
00:18:27.920
The Native Americans then walk up and the guy is doing the drum and he happens to be, he's not planning it.
00:18:36.620
And I'm sure it just happens to fall in beat with the kids chance.
00:18:43.400
So at first the kids are all thinking, this is cool.
00:18:47.260
This Native American guy is coming up and he's helping us with a chance and you can hear them.
00:18:54.180
Some of the kids say, yeah, some of the kids are like, this is so cool.
00:19:02.760
And that's because their chance essentially were to drown out the other, the third group, the black is the black Jews.
00:19:12.240
They're saying things like, you know, gay slurs and all sorts of things.
00:19:15.720
They are, they are, they are unquestionably doing really bad things.
00:19:20.300
And so that they decided to do this school spirit thing to drown that out.
00:19:24.520
And they thought initially this Native American was helping them because they were on the good side of things.
00:19:30.160
And they thought the drum, which it was, if you listen to it, it was keeping beat.
00:19:35.240
Now it just, I think it just happened to be that way.
00:19:40.220
I don't know, but it seemed if you were in the crowd that it was just doing the, that he was on their side.
00:19:50.380
Then because of the taunts, you realize, oh, these guys aren't friends, but not everybody.
00:19:59.240
Because if you watch multiple cameras done by the kids, some of the kids get it much earlier.
00:20:06.540
Other kids all the way to the end are saying, what the hell is, what's going on?
00:20:15.940
This kid, I think I haven't spoken to him, but I think he knows what's going on and he knows you're not going to, you're not going to do this, man.
00:20:25.460
We're not going to break, but it's so important that you hear one of the kids being yelled at by the Native Americans.
00:20:35.540
Uh, and can you give me, Sarah, can you ask Mike, which one it is where the kid, um, actually says, I've got so many cuts here where the kid says, um, don't, don't do it.
00:20:52.740
One of the kids is being taunted and he's being taunted.
00:20:56.220
And what the, what the Native American says is you white people, you're just being white.
00:21:13.660
So one of the kids very reasonably, very calmly says, no, this isn't, this is everybody's land.
00:21:23.700
And the Native American says, we were here first.
00:21:28.700
And the kid says, so wait a minute, can we just go back in time?
00:21:32.220
Let's go back to Africa where all the continents were together and we were all one people and we've all traveled from there.
00:21:46.820
That is when the guy who is standing in front of the Indian with a drum, that's the only time he breaks and he puts his hand up and looks at the kid and says, hey, stop it.
00:22:05.560
Don't you're, they're just trying to get you angry.
00:22:08.760
Don't when the kid continues to respond reasonably, that's when the kid who is sneering at the Native American turns around and says, come on, let's go and leaves.
00:22:22.760
That's exactly what Martin Luther King would do.
00:22:34.140
I'm really thrilled to tell you about our new partnership.
00:22:38.700
We're embarking on a journey and I'd like you to embark on this journey together.

Join me now on this journey, 23andMe.com, 23andMe.com slash Beck.
00:23:33.640
Graham Allen, if you don't know who he is, he's a part of the Blaze TV.
00:23:36.620
He had another incident like this this weekend.
00:23:38.380
You can hear him all the time, blazeTV.com slash Beck.
00:23:44.520
Oh man, this video, you have to watch the entire video.
00:23:50.580
You have to watch the entire video of what happened with these kids from Covington.
00:23:58.140
And yes, I know, media, it's Martin Luther King Day.
00:24:01.260
And so you're going to take my words and twist them.
00:24:04.300
But I stand by my words, these kids from every indication that I have seen behaved exactly like Martin Luther King would want kids to behave.
00:24:16.920
They were kind in the face of people who were trying to get them to strike back.
00:24:24.080
Read the quote from the Native American guy who is a liar.
00:24:31.800
And CNN should be ashamed and angry at him and angry at their producer before they ran to put him in a studio.
00:24:41.020
And I think CNN at least has reported accurately some of these things.
00:24:45.280
It was Washington Post, right, was the first kind of big story on this.
00:24:48.160
Yes, but CNN had the Native American guy in the chair doing an interview.
00:24:54.740
That means you had time to find him, book him, get him a car, get him to a studio, and put him in, and no one had the time to watch the video?
00:25:08.320
But this is what he says, I was getting ugly, and I was thinking, I've got to find myself an exit out of this situation and finish my song at the Lincoln Memorial.
00:25:15.300
I started going that way, and that guy in the hat stood in my way, and we were at an impasse.
00:25:20.040
He just blocked my way and wouldn't allow me to retreat.
00:25:25.880
So he was in front of you, but he wouldn't allow you to go backwards.
00:25:30.620
If you watch the video made by, I think it was the Native Americans, because it seems to be moving with their group, you can hear them target this group.
00:25:46.260
They are targeting these kids, and they are mocking these kids.
00:25:50.660
I'm not saying the guy with the drum was, because he was singing his song.
00:25:53.540
Everybody else with him were targeting and mocking these kids.
00:26:04.700
The kids thought that they were supporting them, standing against the other guys who were just horrible.
00:26:12.200
They were taunting the kids and trying to get them to fight, and so they just started chanting.
00:26:18.540
Their school's pride stuff to drown those guys out because they were so horrible.
00:26:45.100
America will be destroyed by nuclear destruction.
00:26:56.080
They then go on to say, that's right, there's nothing, these guys are nothing but a bunch
00:27:11.160
He said, this racist, what the hell is all this?
00:27:14.420
What the hell is you see if crackers would make America great?
00:27:37.300
So, you're not hearing the kids chant back because the kids actually move to surround
00:27:44.760
the African Americans in their group to protect them.
00:27:53.520
They just surround them to make sure nobody gets hurt.
00:28:01.340
Go on YouTube and look up Donald Trump kisses drag.
00:28:06.880
You're going to see your president kiss Rudy Giuliani dressed in a drag.
00:28:32.420
They later go on in something that I'm not going to play because it's just too vile.
00:28:36.620
They go on to call homosexuals awful, awful names.
00:29:01.440
They are being hated on because they are white.
00:29:07.820
They're being targeted because they're wearing MAGA hats.
00:29:11.420
That's a fact that you've glossed over this whole time, though.
00:29:18.480
If you're wearing a MAGA hat, you may have well, you may just as well have stabbed someone to death.
00:29:28.100
They basically just applied their worst beliefs of what a MAGA hat represents.
00:29:34.720
I mean, they're all just like, yeah, that happened.
00:29:37.420
I mean, think about just from everybody was on board with it just because they're wearing the MAGA hats.
00:29:42.960
And obviously, your typical internet celebrities were terrible on this.
00:29:46.680
But it's like, forget even like the actual confrontation.
00:29:56.140
In his face is, I think, an important part of this, right?
00:29:58.420
If you're beating a drum and it's down by your waist, right?
00:30:02.500
To put the drum right in his face and keep hitting it over and over and over again.
00:30:09.580
And the fact that the media just ran with his narrative.
00:30:12.880
He said the things that I was talking about where he's saying they were chanting, build the wall.
00:30:16.540
And they were saying all these terrible things.
00:30:22.300
But in addition to that, he then goes to the media, runs to the media,
00:30:26.920
says he was thinking about his wife who just died of cancer during this moment.
00:30:31.580
And they just report it as if it's true without any evidence supporting it other than just his word.
00:30:39.520
And just assuming because he's on the right side of history, right?
00:30:42.460
He doesn't like Donald Trump, that you can just trust him and take him at his word.
00:30:49.260
That the kid was standing there smiling at him?
00:30:58.680
He was part of a group that was doing the opposite.
00:31:05.220
By the way, have you seen Cuban Avenger on Twitter?
00:31:11.680
Where they have taken all of the faces of the kids that they could grab from the crowd.
00:31:18.800
And they have said, if I may quote, reporter, special dark projects, desk, Gizmodo Media, Republic of Lies, conspiracy theories in America.
00:31:40.100
If you have a school yearbook for Covington Catholic High School.
00:31:46.540
Then then you also have Congressman John Yarmuth.
00:31:57.220
I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats until we figure out what's going on.
00:32:10.120
The MAGA hat seems to be poisoning young minds.
00:32:15.120
Can you imagine if these were the Parkland kids and somebody on the right had treated David Hogg and Emily Gonzalez in a similar way?
00:32:24.400
It's unthinkable what they'd be going through right now.
00:32:27.780
And these guys and and and they already did that to the Parkland shooter kids.
00:32:35.260
They already defended them when people were saying no, Lynn, not just some people.
00:32:40.820
Maybe a senator like Marco Rubio, who was saying no.
00:32:45.200
And the kid got up, sneered in his face and said, you're just on the dole of the NRA.
00:32:59.580
It's amazing, too, that the media doesn't get angry at the BS coming their way.
00:33:09.420
If anyone looks at the facts of this, it makes them look bad.
00:33:13.100
And yes, the person's coming from your side of this issue, essentially, trying to beat up on Donald Trump supporters.
00:33:19.280
But like, don't you get angry when someone comes and you report this and then you look horrible?
00:33:24.040
Instead, they just dig in and defend their ground.
00:33:27.260
We've had incidents with prominent conservatives over the years.
00:33:35.380
Where conservatives have tried to get a narrative out there that we thought they were credible.
00:33:44.160
And it caused a decade-long rift between certain people.
00:33:48.680
And to the point of like, it's still a major issue.
00:33:51.360
And it's like, these things, when someone burns you on your own side, you should be furious at them.
00:34:00.540
They should be out there absolutely wrecking these protesters that were on their side.
00:34:05.520
Not to mention the particular guy who went and blatantly lied to them.
00:34:12.020
Even if you want to say the media has the best intentions in the world.
00:34:15.820
And the best reading you can have from this is they got a report from a guy and they just went with it.
00:34:21.520
But if that happens, and you know now that this isn't true, how are you not pissed off at this guy?
00:34:31.180
So let me just go on with Congressman John Yarmuth.
00:34:37.660
The conduct we saw in this video is beyond appalling.
00:34:45.020
This is a direct result of the racist hatred displayed daily by the President of the United States.
00:34:55.160
But then his conclusion is we should ban the MAGA hat from cheerleaders.
00:35:05.540
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited to it by the states are reserved to the states, respectively, or to the people.
00:35:17.440
I am today calling for a complete shutdown of politicians who are trying to circumvent the Constitution of the United States of America.
00:35:30.060
I am sick and tired of hearing these, quote, representatives who swear an oath not to uphold my opinion, their opinion, their party's opinion, anybody else's opinion.
00:35:44.380
They swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the Constitution of the United States of America.
00:35:51.560
And then you go on half cocked and not watching a video in a responsible position.
00:35:59.160
And you say you want to ban hats until we figure it out.
00:36:03.840
I say we ban Congress until we find out what the hell is happening.
00:36:16.400
But isn't this a clear indication why we must do so much homework?
00:36:22.140
We have to do a hundred times the research that they do because it doesn't matter when they get things wrong.
00:36:29.180
But it could end careers when we get things wrong.
00:36:31.700
So I wrote today to the guy who's, you know, head of the Blaze and said,
00:36:37.600
the Blaze should be focused on setting the narrative straight.
00:36:43.940
There are a couple of people who have made it their weekend to set the narrative straight.
00:36:50.000
But you need the video and you need it in a consumable way.
00:36:54.620
You have to have the video that shows the things that I saw.
00:37:06.400
You watch just 45 minutes and it's a completely different story.
00:37:20.320
And we'll give you the full unedited video in case, well, that's just an edit.
00:37:27.720
And if these mainstream journalists aren't doing that, what are they doing?
00:37:36.580
A guy comes to you and says, hey, I was harassed.
00:37:41.180
And all the claims that this guy said, it's the journalist's job not to write that story then.
00:37:46.860
You go and you watch all the videos and then you say, wait a minute.
00:37:57.660
Facebook has decided the next battlefield now is to empower you.
00:38:04.300
Today, Facebook will encounter a slew of fresh complexities with the launch of Community Actions, its newest news feed position.
00:38:17.480
Community Actions will unite neighbors to request changes from their local and national elected officials and government agencies.
00:38:24.960
Oh, so Facebook is organizing community activists so they can shout and funnel their rage at leaders.
00:38:44.580
By the way, thank you, Pat, who drops in every day at this time.
00:38:50.480
You can listen to it live every morning before this broadcast on the Blaze Radio and TV network.
00:38:55.800
Or you can find his podcast wherever podcasts are found.
00:39:01.360
Only 36, 36 percent of proper of property that has been stolen is even reported to police.
00:39:13.960
I feel like I would want to report all of those things.
00:39:15.940
I know only 18 percent are actually prosecuted.
00:39:22.180
OK, you got to make sure nobody's stealing your stuff.
00:39:25.000
And if somebody does come into your house, you want the photos.
00:39:28.080
And I don't mean a blurry like, you know, 7-Eleven cam photo.
00:39:31.180
I mean, a high resolution photo where you can actually see their face.
00:39:48.220
Good thing the Glenn Beck program is here to point it all out.
00:39:51.900
We have that and so much more for you coming up in just a second.
00:39:58.160
We didn't even point out that Graham Allen was in trouble this weekend as well for something
00:40:11.440
And if you don't understand that, Brian Stelter, I will explain it to you.
00:40:17.740
And I'll try not to talk slowly or talk down to you, but I think that may be the only way
00:40:35.080
Look, I've dealt with American Financing personally when I was going purchasing my home
00:40:39.640
and they walked me through this entire process.
00:40:54.260
But in fact, it would be the kind of deal that I would say, don't, don't, don't.
00:40:58.280
If you're going to do a deal, don't do this kind of deal.
00:41:03.560
If you can find it from another place, go take it.
00:41:10.120
But I mean, American Financing, they didn't care.
00:41:25.240
If you're going to buy a home, this is the place to go.
00:41:48.200
And this is one member of the media who actually watched the video.
00:41:54.160
And if they would have misbehaved, the Trump hat isn't like, you know, some like kryptonite.
00:42:01.580
It's not going to stop me from seeing or acting on the truth.
00:42:09.100
And when I saw the media reports, I was outraged.
00:42:19.480
Those kids, the video that I saw, 45 minutes of it, I thought they were, they were, did honor to their community, honor to their school.
00:42:32.780
And on Martin Luther King Day, they did honor to Martin Luther King.
00:42:45.960
Let me tell you a little bit about realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:42:51.600
They can help you sell your home for top dollar as quickly as possible.
00:43:02.220
We get emails from people, I mean, stacks of emails on my desk from people who said, Glenn, I gave it a whirl.
00:43:13.000
I tried and I can't believe it's more than what you said.
00:43:17.420
I can't tell you the number of people who said this was such a hard experience for us for this reason or that reason.
00:43:24.280
This real estate agent understood us, took the time, we prayed together, we laughed together.
00:43:30.060
Some people are remaining friends with their real estate agent.
00:43:33.940
I don't know about you, but I can't get away from real estate agents fast enough in the past.
00:43:41.400
You haven't met the ones that actually care about the customer.
00:43:45.340
That's the secret of realestateagentsitrust.com.
00:43:50.280
They know what your house should be sold for, which is key.
00:43:52.660
They know how to sell and market your home to get out fast and to get top dollar.
00:44:02.120
We've put together over a thousand agents nationwide who are listeners of the show and just like you.
00:44:08.760
You want to deal with somebody who's just going to get it done and you're going to enjoy the experience?
00:44:22.660
So Stu keeps telling me when we get off the air.
00:44:32.640
Yeah, you know, it's Martin Luther King Day today.
00:44:35.740
You know that the press is going to just twist what you say.
00:44:45.100
I think they like the idea of these kids who've been vilified by the country as essentially white supremacists with no evidence.
00:44:54.860
The idea that you're going to say that they had similar characteristics in some ways to Martin Luther King is on Martin Luther King Day.
00:45:02.540
Well, I don't even think the press even knows who Martin Luther King is anymore.
00:45:06.320
I mean, he's not radical enough for people now.
00:45:08.620
Martin Luther King is being distanced from all of the, you know, the big civil rights groups now.
00:45:14.940
Only when it's convenient for them do they use it.
00:45:18.100
Martin Luther King wouldn't be a part of Antifa.
00:45:21.060
Martin Luther King wouldn't be a part of really, he wouldn't be a part of the women's march.
00:45:26.440
Maybe at the beginning he would have been, okay, let's, let's, you know, gather together.
00:45:31.540
It seemed like a peaceful march, but he probably would have done his homework and saw who was involved and went, ah, no, they seem to be racists.
00:45:40.120
And I don't think we want to stand with racists.
00:45:46.380
We don't know, but I know Alveda King says that he actually was pro-life, right?
00:45:51.140
Yeah, he was also, dare I say it, oh, dare I say it, on Martin Luther King Day?
00:46:00.800
Because gun laws for African Americans and Native Americans.
00:46:07.940
They were always, they were always in effect in the South.
00:46:17.600
This is why they told Martin Luther King you couldn't have a gun.
00:46:19.680
Because he went in and he said, hey, I need to get a permit to carry a gun.
00:46:28.700
Just like they're protecting us with their gun control measures of today.
00:46:32.160
We can't understand how to handle these big, black, metal, scary things that we hold
00:46:44.480
So, you know, he's not exactly the guy that everybody portrays him.
00:46:57.200
Towards the end, he was hanging around a lot of communists.
00:47:01.320
You know, whether that's where he would have ended up or not, I don't know.
00:47:08.260
Not because we're like, you know, I support Martin Luther King because he was for philandering.
00:47:15.980
No, we like him because of his idea that you peacefully protest.
00:47:23.140
Oh, I like Martin Luther King because he was a communist.
00:47:28.520
We like Martin Luther King and he has a day because he taught America how to protest peacefully.
00:47:38.760
But maybe we should look back and have a refresher on Martin Luther King.
00:47:45.020
We will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men,
00:48:04.280
Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual,
00:48:18.600
Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.
00:48:28.760
Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
00:48:40.180
Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.
00:48:52.700
I may not get there with you, but I want you to know the night that we as a people will get to the promised land.
00:49:06.840
Dr. Martin Luther King has been shot and wounded, possibly critically wounded in Memphis, Tennessee this evening.
00:49:13.000
Dr. Martin Luther King, the apostle of nonviolence in the civil rights movement, has been shot to death in Memphis, Tennessee.
00:49:20.460
...all points bulletin for a well-dressed young white man seen running from the scene.
00:49:26.500
For centuries, man's freedom has been crushed, contained, or at best discouraged, and sometimes in subtle ways.
00:49:37.760
In the days of Solomon, he decried that man could learn too much, that one shouldn't dig too deeply nor read too often,
00:49:47.640
saying that too much reading led to the weariness of the flesh,
00:49:52.020
that the search for knowledge is where Adam and Eve went wrong,
00:49:56.220
thus proving that learning leads to man's downfall or his sin.
00:50:00.880
St. Paul, centuries later, said basically the same thing.
00:50:07.880
In 1500, Francis Bacon wrote to the king trying to convince him that man could never learn too much,
00:50:14.780
that knowledge could not somehow also contain the serpent.
00:50:21.800
Immanuel Kant, the man who first described the Milky Way as a collection of suns in the fashion that we now know it,
00:50:32.620
There are many things that I believe that I shall never say,
00:50:36.200
but I shall never say the things that I do not believe.
00:50:44.020
In 1760, our most precious freedom, the freedom of thought, had not yet been born.
00:50:53.900
Yet, just a few years later, on the other side of the globe,
00:51:01.340
his wife dying in bed hundreds of miles away from him.
00:51:07.160
I'm not sure if we really understand the impact of those words.
00:51:37.160
Man has never been as free to think as man is now.
00:51:42.420
The Chinese dissidents didn't make a Statue of Liberty in Tiananmen Square out of happenstance.
00:51:51.760
Our freedom of thought allowed men to discover electricity,
00:51:55.160
the light bulb, the car, the phone, the motion picture, the radio, the television, the computer,
00:52:01.620
Which of these men will be first to orbit the Earth?
00:52:11.120
It was in the American century that the theory of relativity was conceived,
00:52:17.880
The thing that strikes me about America is the joyous, positive attitude to life.
00:52:24.840
The smile on the faces of the people is one of the greatest assets of the American.
00:52:29.720
He's friendly, self-confident, optimistic, and without envy.
00:52:34.580
The American lives more for his goals, for the future.
00:52:45.280
His emphasis is laid on the we and never the I.
00:52:50.400
So today, as we are free to celebrate, relax, think, read, say anything,
00:53:01.280
Are we still more about the goals for the future?
00:53:04.440
Is life for us always about becoming and never being?
00:53:14.380
You know, when Jefferson first wrote those words,
00:53:19.300
they were words of treason and certain execution.
00:53:22.800
But today, they are free to echo throughout the land
00:53:30.580
that we do hold these truths to be self-evident,
00:53:37.540
and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights,
00:53:41.780
and among them life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
00:53:49.580
with firm reliance on the protection of divine providence,
00:54:02.820
Our founders changed the world with those few words.
00:54:48.180
You know, the crappy chairs that come from Staples,
00:54:50.880
you know, they're crappy chairs that come from Staples,
00:55:08.140
well, the X chair has all this whiz-bang technology,
00:55:14.660
Yeah, you can get the X chair with all of that,
00:55:27.240
It still is the greatest chair that you'll sit in.
00:55:40.960
I am uncomfortable in most chairs because of my back.
00:55:57.360
Now you can get $100 off if you go to xchairbeck.com.
00:56:02.700
You'll get a free footrest if you use the promo code BECK.
00:56:27.360
I am trying to find that quote from Albert Einstein.
00:56:40.740
All I keep finding now is I do Einstein on America being optimist,
00:56:51.620
I mean, you wrote that piece, what, how many years ago now?
00:56:58.320
And no, I just keep finding, you know, Einstein on America being racist.
00:57:06.620
Maybe it was in that essay where he was, where he was denouncing racism.
00:57:15.620
And so I can, I can understand how, you know, African-Americans feel.
00:57:27.160
I mean, look, every single, this is another interesting example of something you mentioned
00:57:31.140
at the beginning of the hour, which is even Einstein had his issues, right?
00:57:33.900
Like, and there's some quotes from Einstein, they're not so great when it comes around
00:57:46.700
I said there are some, though, that are, you know, you kind of wish, and eventually he
00:57:50.760
came around to some of the correct opinions here.
00:57:52.980
But every single person that you, I used to do a segment on Wonderful World of Stu called
00:57:58.200
And it was just my favorite thing of just taking these really beloved figures and finding all
00:58:01.820
the terrible things about them and just ruining them for people.
00:58:04.240
I don't know why I take pleasure in such a thing.
00:58:06.620
However, it is, you can do it with almost anybody.
00:58:09.200
And that was kind of the point, is you can find things that are true and negative and
00:58:14.960
bad about every single one of these figures, maybe one big exception, where, you know, there
00:58:22.140
is a idea, you used to say this a lot, which is we turn these people into statues and why
00:58:31.640
You know, the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, it's beautiful and it's great.
00:58:34.960
And you can certainly understand how important he was, but it almost makes you forget he was
00:58:39.720
It almost makes you forget he was a human being that had flaws and screwed up sometimes
00:58:43.960
and misunderstood things at key moments in his life and was not always right.
00:58:48.040
Did things at times that were not the right path.
00:58:52.380
But overall, we can still put that into perspective.
00:58:55.040
And it's the same thing with all of the founding fathers, where they did things and you can question
00:59:00.800
When you memorialize a person, this is why I get so uncomfortable around these like state
00:59:06.500
When you put people, when you have that around them, it takes away the actual humanity.
00:59:11.500
It almost convinces you that you can't do something like that.
00:59:16.340
You can't stand like that because he was this giant statue of a man.
00:59:25.620
Can somebody go upstairs into the vault on the second floor and get the picture off the
00:59:30.720
wall of Abraham Lincoln looking like Kramer from Seinfeld?
00:59:44.420
Can you imagine the guy who is fighting a war, a civil war, losing every battle all the
01:00:21.320
Can you imagine the press today how they would treat Abraham Lincoln?
01:00:24.540
You imagine you imagine what they would say about his wife, what they I mean, they already
01:00:30.400
were saying this about his wife, but they were I mean, this this press would tear Lincoln
01:00:42.460
I'm sure they don't even point out that he's a Republican anymore.
01:00:46.520
But his good so overwhelmed the bad that they can't even admit he was a Republican or they
01:00:51.640
just say, well, the Republican Party has changed.
01:00:56.340
It's going to be a podcast in a couple of weeks with Brad Meltzer.
01:01:06.820
Well, we get into George Washington and I asked him a serious question.
01:01:10.100
Besides Jesus, I can't find any other character that is as spotless as George Washington.
01:01:24.960
And he obviously understood this at some level.
01:01:33.800
I'm trying to remember, but I think when Martha died, she freed the slaves.
01:01:40.100
I think I can't remember how it happened, but he didn't read.
01:01:46.000
And the story goes that they didn't want to leave.
01:01:51.180
They didn't want to be broken up because he wasn't like a mean slave.
01:01:58.060
But his slaves talked about him differently than other slave owners did.
01:02:02.800
He's not the, you know, Simon was Simon Legree.
01:02:07.320
He wasn't that kind of a slave owner still owned slaves.
01:02:10.820
But for at the time was a great one and couldn't release them, could not release them legally, legally.
01:02:18.720
That wasn't the way the law worked at that time in Virginia.
01:02:21.380
And, you know, we talk about this a lot of, you know, sometimes we compare abortion to slavery.
01:02:25.440
And the reason I think it's an apt comparison is not because they're both really bad, because they are really bad.
01:02:32.840
But the fact that society approves it gives people the out to understand how horrific it is at the time.
01:02:40.200
It's almost an excuse for people of how they acted that way.
01:02:43.440
At that time, it was accepted by society and people didn't really, the average person was not thinking whether this was right or wrong.
01:02:51.440
And I think a lot of that's happening today with abortion.
01:02:53.760
Most people don't think things through like that.
01:03:07.860
Tika Tuari still says that all signs still point for a massive bull year for cryptocurrencies.
01:03:13.800
I don't, I don't know, but I'm not an expert in this field.
01:03:19.140
However, I have taken his course and I was just, where was I was at an economic summit in Bermuda a couple of months ago.
01:03:30.120
And I listened to these speeches from people who are all into tech and, and Tika was one of the speakers.
01:03:35.880
And I thought, I got, I can't pick these things apart.
01:03:39.760
I just, I don't know why this isn't happening yet because every sign indicates good stuff.
01:03:52.620
The first thing you have to do is educate yourself, do your own homework, learn all you can about cryptocurrency and blockchain at smart crypto course.com.
01:04:02.740
Take this, it was designed for you, smart crypto course.com.
01:04:06.860
Graham Allen on the blaze TV was involved in a little bit of a controversy with the second amendment.
01:04:20.440
I want to, for, for those of you who are watching, we were just talking about Abraham Lincoln and I sent some guys up to the vault to get this,
01:04:28.280
this, this a really rare and controversial photograph of Abraham Lincoln.
01:04:34.360
Um, and I think that it looks Abraham look Lincoln looks like Kramer on Seinfeld.
01:04:42.500
That's not why it's controversial, but doesn't he, it totally does.
01:04:46.860
And you do have a picture of it side by side by any chance you get to grab a picture of,
01:04:50.440
uh, Seinfeld, I mean, Kramer and, uh, grab this picture of Abraham Lincoln.
01:04:54.620
This, this, this picture was taken on July 4th, 1856.
01:05:11.060
They grabbed him just before he walked up onto the podium for the Lincoln Douglas debates.
01:05:20.700
This is the Abraham Lincoln that gave that debate.
01:05:26.320
I mean, looking like this, he won a little different than the, uh, the classic photos you'd think of when you think of Abraham Lincoln.
01:05:34.340
And then that's, that one's not going on the $5 bill.
01:05:40.100
It's just a bad looking picture of Abraham Lincoln.
01:05:42.020
You know, Abraham Lincoln was, um, uh, was in a bad mood.
01:05:48.820
If you ever see him with his hair combed, any picture where his hair is in place, it's because he was pissed off.
01:06:00.240
His, his, his way of taking out his anger was on his hair.
01:06:03.860
Um, he would sit for a photo and they would say, um, Mr. Uh, Mr. President, we'd just like to comb your hair.
01:06:16.160
And they would say, no, Mr. Lincoln, we really need you to comb your hair.
01:06:25.200
And as they'd finish and they'd get right to the camera, ready to take the shot, he'd run his hands through his hair and mess it up again and do it right.
01:06:35.020
And they would all laugh and they would take the picture.
01:06:36.840
A few times they, they were like, no, Mr. President.
01:06:43.640
He did not like pictures making him look all fancy.
01:06:49.320
Fancy in his term was with my hair combed because he never combed his hair.
01:06:59.060
He looked like, uh, he was disheveled all the time.
01:07:13.120
Wouldn't it be cool if Abraham Lincoln walked into rooms like Kramer?
01:07:21.640
Someone should remake, uh, in Seinfeld style elements of the, the Lincoln presidency.
01:07:37.500
Like, uh, uh, you know, the wife could be Elaine coming in.
01:07:42.540
Imagine the characters that you could have in that.
01:07:44.480
And he would be like, we should free the slaves.
01:08:02.740
You just do Kramer is Lincoln and you get the old cast back from Seinfeld.
01:08:10.740
Lin-Manuel Miranda should be coming in and doing this.
01:08:14.800
I don't know what that history would look like, but that is a, that's a billion dollar
01:08:22.420
I mean, I know he went off on like a racist rant at one point.
01:08:30.160
One of the earliest sort of YouTube moments that affected somebody's career that I can
01:08:36.200
I mean, it was a, it was a very bad moment as he's admitted many times since what he
01:08:40.180
was being taunted by someone in the crowd who happened to be African American and
01:08:44.260
he was looking for a way to get under his skin and decided to use words you do not
01:08:52.060
He's actually recovered from that at some point with a gigantic assist to Jerry Seinfeld
01:09:00.240
And he kept going on the air and saying, look, you know, he's put him on as big appearances.
01:09:12.760
We're watching Seinfeld with the kids now, you know, we've, we finished watching Cosby.
01:09:18.660
And so they, they have their, their fill of a pedophile.
01:09:25.020
So we're watching Seinfeld and it's, it's a lot funnier.
01:09:38.880
I mean, you, you got that the first time around, but they really are all so shallow and dislikable,
01:09:46.080
which is the first time a sitcom was like that.
01:09:49.860
There was no sitcoms before that had the entire cast, except for the crazy neighbor, unlikable.
01:10:01.000
He's the guy who was always like, no, that's not right.
01:10:21.780
Well, do you remember we did this a couple of weeks ago?
01:10:24.880
There's a new list of the 10 Seinfeld episodes that are no longer the worst moments.
01:10:31.100
I mean, maybe, maybe that was when Pat was here.
01:10:33.100
And it was, I can't remember what the other controversy was.
01:10:35.460
There was another like old TV show controversy and we went over this list and these moments,
01:10:40.960
you know, there's a lot of them in that show that couldn't be made today.
01:10:44.580
I mean, even, even going back to more recent history of The Office, Steve Carell said in
01:10:48.960
an interview, you couldn't make that show today.
01:10:51.360
There was an article out, there was an article out yesterday or today about how stand-up
01:11:01.560
No, I mean, because you can't, because nobody can take a joke.
01:11:09.360
The gods of the copy book headings are coming back.
01:11:13.400
It's just going to be after a nasty episode here.
01:11:16.680
You say that I was, uh, the Louis CK thing recently has, has had me thinking about this
01:11:20.540
a lot because he had this, uh, apparently terrible, uh, moment where he, uh, was, you
01:11:27.420
And he was saying that, uh, you know, uh, the, he was saying that it's almost like they're
01:11:33.500
These people who were demanding, you call them what they say they want to be called.
01:11:37.020
And he was just kind of mocking cultural culture and everyone was bashing him for it.
01:11:40.840
Um, and I, I happened to hear Jim Norton, who's a, you know, great comedian and like
01:11:45.280
a, you know, first amendment hero, uh, you know, who's always speaking out for the first
01:11:50.100
And he, uh, he talked about this and his, his take was it's never going to change.
01:11:58.000
It's never going to go back to a time where people actually took the joke.
01:12:02.440
It's never going to go back to a time where people weren't offended over every single thing.
01:12:06.160
His take was never, and that's depressing because I will, there's a part of me that
01:12:10.880
was optimistic about the idea of social media and all these things in that when we were one
01:12:15.280
of the first sort of targets in this world, right?
01:12:17.740
Like this show would get targeted by, you know, stupid groups like media matters and
01:12:22.060
every, and this show used to be funny, believe it or not, the show used to be funny.
01:12:26.060
I mean, that was our main goal was to be funny every day.
01:12:32.880
Well, whether the weather, the storm, um, and we got so attacked from all sides over
01:12:39.680
and over and over again, uh, it was really hard for a long period of time to still say
01:12:49.940
And my take at the time was this was new to people like these, uh, company, right?
01:12:58.020
And then all of a sudden they get a hundred emails in a day about the same thing.
01:13:01.760
And in their minds, it would turn into, oh my gosh, everyone's, this is worse than we've
01:13:08.000
We have to bail from the sponsor or we have to, uh, you know, uh, we have to, you know,
01:13:14.120
stop advertising on that show or whatever the change was.
01:13:16.580
We have to make a statement to show that we are not on the side of these hateful things,
01:13:21.620
And, uh, I, my initial thought on that was people would eventually realize that these are
01:13:29.520
This is before social media, really, it was more like the mailing lists and emails.
01:13:35.720
That's just, it's, they're, they're fraudulently showing outrage to try to get you to hurt their
01:13:42.460
And I thought eventually companies would be like, oh, I mean, we've seen this a thousand
01:13:48.640
We don't, we don't back anybody's show that we advertise on.
01:14:00.120
The second, and this happens on the left and right.
01:14:02.240
And people just, as soon as there's a complaint about something, look at the school yesterday
01:14:06.680
The school that knows these particular children, their immediate reaction was, we denounce everything
01:14:16.300
And of course, now they're having to back off of this because the video clearly shows
01:14:20.720
that there was no evidence to the claims that they were bad kids.
01:14:23.800
Let me say, let me say, because, cause it's just, it's, it's like, it's like lemon juice
01:14:33.600
They stood there and they did not yell at them.
01:14:39.320
They stood there silently and they did, they protested in a restrained way by every, all
01:14:52.520
They were targeted by two professional groups of protesters.
01:14:58.120
Those guys on both of those groups, the, the, what is it?
01:15:05.080
And the native American protest group, they've never had this much publicity before.
01:15:10.960
They've never had this, but they were targeted.
01:15:13.180
That group was targeted to do exactly because they knew what the press would do.
01:15:18.940
And it was worth lied to the press, said things that happened.
01:15:21.760
And the press doesn't care that they were lied to.
01:15:23.840
They don't seem to be pissed off about it at all.
01:15:25.720
And that's the thing, like I have over this time and going through this firsthand, we've
01:15:30.140
dealt with this, you know, for now 15, 20 years.
01:15:32.680
And it's like, you get the sense that maybe it is never going to change.
01:15:36.120
Maybe we're at this point where we just won't joke anymore.
01:15:38.100
With terror and slaughter, the gods of the copybook headings will return.
01:15:45.440
It's just going to be horrible to get back to it.
01:15:52.760
I'm going to the prop storehouse today or the prop storeroom that I have.
01:15:59.720
And I am picking up the cigar store Indian that I have in storage.
01:16:07.500
And I'm going to put it right there, right behind me.
01:16:12.000
So every day it's sitting there anyway, the so this this episode is so telling and shows
01:16:25.320
America was laughing at this, but America was laughing at it because it tells the truth
01:16:31.280
America, he picks up, remember, he's offended Elaine, I think.
01:16:40.900
And he's standing in the cigar store and he's like, oh, that's great.
01:16:49.840
And it was like twelve hundred dollars, which is not no way you could buy one now for that.
01:16:54.160
Um, and, uh, it's twelve hundred dollars or something like that, seven hundred dollars.
01:16:58.020
And he picks it up, he wraps it up and he goes to Ellen's house.
01:17:08.440
And, uh, Seinfeld walks in and he's like, hello, Judy, or whatever her name is.
01:17:15.280
And there's obviously some chemistry between the two and which you couldn't do now, God forbid.
01:17:21.560
Uh, and, uh, he says, Ellen, I got you something.
01:17:27.020
And he starts to pull it off and, uh, pull off the cloth off of the cigar store Indian.
01:17:40.700
He's doing it because it's kitschy and it's fun.
01:17:46.000
And, uh, so he, he pulls it off and he's doing it as a joke for her.
01:17:51.560
And it's immediately turned into a racist thing.
01:17:54.680
The, the native American gets up and he tries to apologize and says, I'm sorry.
01:18:03.280
And then he says, you know, they get back together and he gives, she gives her something,
01:18:09.540
gives him something, the native American, and it's the Indian giver thing.
01:18:14.040
And then at the end there's dating and he's like, Hey, let's just, uh, I made, I made,
01:18:23.280
So it shows how he's trying and taking it so far.
01:18:34.240
Elaine then says, uh, to Kramer, get this out of here.
01:18:42.800
So he puts it in a cab as he's trying to find, uh, a restaurant that the two of them can
01:18:50.180
go to Jerry is, he says to a guy who's got his back to him, Hey, do you know where a Chinese
01:19:00.480
Kramer drives by in the car going, look, Jerry.
01:19:07.220
None of it was racist, but it shows exactly the world we live in now.
01:19:12.560
Where everything is interpreted protected the future for the worst.
01:19:19.100
Um, I want you to go to 23andme.com slash back 23andme.com slash back.
01:19:28.140
One, I want to get healthy and 23 and me will be able to look at my genetic code and tell me
01:19:33.680
what specifically I should stay away from what I can do, what my muscle mass is.
01:19:38.740
I'm doing this four hour body thing from Tim Ferriss.
01:19:55.680
The other thing we're doing is my son is getting it done because he's adopted and we want to
01:20:01.200
Um, and so I just think it's cool and we'll do this together.
01:20:07.480
Please do your ancestry and also find out that I think it's like 150 different health facts
01:20:12.160
about yourself that can help you eat and live better.
01:20:25.860
He's a former military guy and he's gone, become a bit of an internet sensation over
01:20:29.860
the past couple of years with his rants, just kind of about common sense.
01:20:33.940
He went through a little bit of a controversy this weekend where he posted a photo of his
01:20:41.900
He apparently believes in the second amendment.
01:20:44.480
Uh, and he got the, the, the rated by social media as well.
01:20:51.200
Plus you're going to hear from him coming up next.
01:20:54.580
I want to talk to you a little bit about, uh, uh, real estate agents.
01:21:03.080
If you're trying to sell your house, you want to sell your house, you want to sell it on
01:21:07.800
These are real estate agents that know your area.
01:21:10.960
Uh, and they know how much your house is worth and they're going to help you get the most
01:21:16.820
money for it and in, in an honorable and, uh, and, and decent way.
01:21:22.060
Sort of the reverse of a lot of these real estate referral services, which are basically
01:21:26.000
just ways for real estate agents to get clients.
01:21:28.600
This is kind of the reverse it's set up because you set it up.
01:21:31.160
It's set up in a way to help the listeners of this show, uh, connect with people who are
01:21:35.860
actually sharing their values and principles in the way they want to do business.
01:21:39.900
Uh, and to hopefully support that whole thing where you can actually find a good agent instead
01:21:46.580
I want to, I want to do business with people who want to do business with me.
01:21:51.220
Um, and so these are the people that are listeners of the show.
01:22:00.180
The difference between you is they have the expertise to sell your home.
01:22:07.260
Ben Shapiro, a friend of mine and a Jew was basically accused of defending Hitler over
01:22:26.780
the weekend and he lost sponsors because of it.
01:22:32.260
Another friend of mine, uh, Graham Allen, he posts a picture of his kids and him with guns
01:22:48.480
We share both those stories and Graham joins us in one minute.
01:23:06.060
So, um, do, uh, you just go and get your DNA kit from 23 and me and they, you know,
01:23:13.940
Um, and I'm going to do it with my, with my son.
01:23:17.520
I want to do it with my wife as well, because I would like to see the, what is it?
01:23:22.220
130 different things that she has to do for her health.
01:23:26.840
Um, she's because you can taunt her like she's taunting you with the celery juice.
01:23:31.620
I have to do, have we made any progress with the medium, the, the medium, what was it?
01:23:44.140
That's a book that's out and she read it and got it from a friend.
01:23:48.900
I want to see if this guy has any credibility at all because, because of him, I'm drinking
01:24:00.140
I said to my wife today, I have to drink 16 ounces.
01:24:02.880
First thing I get up in the morning, she goes, she was like, and I'm like, oh my gosh,
01:24:13.400
I'm going to put a cover page on your 23andMe report that just says your genetic makeup
01:24:18.000
says you must drink celery juice five times a day.
01:24:21.500
I am hoping that I am somehow or another deeply affected in a negative way by celery juice.
01:24:32.500
They're going to give you 29, 129 different things about your health, your lifestyle, and
01:24:45.700
They will connect you with people that have no idea you're related to each other.
01:24:57.680
What day do I call people strangers and say, I'm your relative?
01:25:14.040
Okay, so Graham Allen, who has got his own show here on Blaze TV.
01:25:31.580
He's a former military guy, and he poses with his kids with guns.
01:25:39.840
You would think that he had set the world on fire and poked the eyes out of babies.
01:25:53.840
So now in this picture with you and the kids, were you in the poppy field and you were all
01:25:59.480
trying to go to sleep or where were you exactly?
01:26:03.860
Well, we were in a cotton field that is literally across the street.
01:26:14.680
You live across the street from a cotton field?
01:26:20.160
And I'm so racist that people obviously don't understand cotton that I miraculously made cotton
01:26:29.400
Anyone that knows anything about cotton knows that that picture was obviously taken months ago.
01:26:54.780
And the left and the right can go back and forth forever on this.
01:27:02.720
I think it's got more dislikes on YouTube than it has likes.
01:27:07.120
And so the left praised it because it speaks for anti-bullying, anti-sexual predator, etc.
01:27:16.300
And what that ad really was, it was this undertone of, it's basically saying that men, current
01:27:23.600
generation men, are this problem within our society.
01:27:27.580
And it was aimed towards younger males saying that you basically need to grow up different
01:27:33.280
to save our world from the current generation of men.
01:27:37.440
So I thought, what better way to do it than to post with something that I have a very
01:27:44.540
I don't know this for certain, but I have a very strong feeling that the people that made
01:27:47.980
the Gillette ad are probably not pro-gun kind of people.
01:27:52.440
And so I posted the photo and I said, hey, Gillette, does this offend you?
01:27:57.360
If I could go back and change one thing, I would have added just one word and I would
01:28:05.840
Because the biggest thing was, people were like, what in the world does guns have to
01:28:13.940
You know, guns didn't have anything, you know, directly to do with the Gillette ad, except
01:28:18.200
that gun-loving, Second Amendment-supporting, gun-law-abiding citizens are frowned upon this
01:28:26.600
day and age by the left as, you know, as the problem.
01:28:29.880
And so that was the, you know, that was the whole reason why I literally just selected,
01:28:36.000
Like, that was part of a whole group of photos that we took months ago, me and my family.
01:28:43.900
You know, people give me a lot more credit for being this racist bigot than I think I
01:28:48.020
deserve because they were like, the racist undertones in the time it took to construct
01:28:52.280
such a subliminal photo, you know, it's staggering.
01:29:02.380
They will, people will do this, people have done this for years and Stu and I always joke
01:29:07.560
They'll come up and they'll say, oh, I was listening to what you were saying in that
01:29:23.720
And they will come up with some elaborate thing that, you know, that's what you were really
01:29:29.140
And usually we're by that point so afraid of that person.
01:29:38.740
We shouldn't be seen with each other ever again.
01:29:42.440
Well, that, that Glenn, and then the other big comment that I saw was, and I wanted to
01:29:50.680
You know, I do teach my children how to handle and respect firearms because I believe that
01:29:57.520
teaching children at a younger age to understand firearms, you remove the mystique around firearms,
01:30:04.800
you get them comfortable to where they respect it.
01:30:07.760
But one of the big things was, why is my little girl in the photo not having, why does she
01:30:16.220
You know, is my, is my little girl not allowed to have.
01:30:19.040
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, let me look at the, put the picture back up because I think
01:30:30.140
I wouldn't let a four-year-old grab the gun either.
01:30:40.700
And so, and so the purpose of the photo, one, to just add the reality of it is I only had
01:30:45.960
three guns in the truck when we drove across the street.
01:30:50.600
So, so, and then the, you know, the purpose of the photo was kind of that, you know, that
01:30:55.640
stereotypical Southern, you know, men protecting, you know, you know, the women that they cherish
01:31:00.520
in their, you know, in their life and stuff, but also my little girl, we don't let her
01:31:05.860
just handle rifles yet because she's just not there.
01:31:09.920
As far as being truly comfortable with the rifle, by the way, none of those weapons were
01:31:15.240
Obviously, you know, my kids just don't walk around with rifles, you know, they're all
01:31:20.660
Graham, Graham, Graham, you're on the Glenn Beck show.
01:31:31.360
My little girl didn't have a rifle because she was four at the time that that picture
01:31:38.100
Graham, it's, it's interesting to watch this because, you know, you're tied to the
01:31:41.360
I think makes a lot of sense to me because I mean, masculine, toxic masculinity, they
01:31:44.660
would talk about firearm usage as an example of that, right?
01:31:48.780
I mean, it really does tie in in a roundabout sort of way, especially Southerners with guns.
01:31:55.260
It's interesting though, because I grew up in Connecticut.
01:31:59.960
And I think there's a lot of people around the country who look at kids handling guns
01:32:05.900
Like the only thing, the only experience they would ever have with a kid holding a gun is
01:32:10.360
a terrible story in the news where, you know, a parent didn't have their gun put away properly
01:32:15.340
and it was loaded and the kid got a handle of it.
01:32:17.800
And that's the terrible news at 11 moment for them.
01:32:20.320
I mean, the gap in understanding gun culture is so wide.
01:32:28.120
Well, I mean, I think that the Southern culture in general is doing a good job.
01:32:33.220
I mean, I can only speak for, people can only truly speak for their own, you know, upbringings
01:32:39.320
and their own personal influences and events in their life.
01:32:43.720
The entire culture of people that I associate with, my family, my children, gun culture
01:32:52.640
We go hunting literally just about every day during hunting season.
01:32:58.060
It's to teach our children, you know, hey, we shot this deer because this deer provides
01:33:07.660
Hey, a gun is for hunting or self-defense purposes.
01:33:11.520
It's not to go out and showboat and everything like that.
01:33:20.220
So here's the thing, you know, who's not demonized that could very easily be demonized.
01:33:28.520
Hey, New Yorkers, you let your, you let your 13 year old get onto a subway by themselves to
01:33:37.060
Do you just drop your, your, your seven or eight year old off on the corner, even though
01:33:48.320
There's a lot of people who live in the center of the country that would go, wait, wait,
01:33:53.080
You let your 13 year old on the subway of New York.
01:34:02.120
But if you live in New York and you've raised your kids to be New Yorkers, it's not crazy.
01:34:09.140
It's not, it's very easy to avoid bad things in New York.
01:34:14.120
If you know where you are, you have your wits around you.
01:34:17.380
The easiest way to be victimized in New York, walk around with a map.
01:34:24.520
You are a target, a 13 year old kid who knows exactly what they're doing on the subway, knows
01:34:39.260
And, and I would think that the biggest, to me, the biggest issues that we have now and
01:34:44.360
why gun culture and why the Gillette ad was so controversial is I think that we have, it's
01:34:52.800
It's not a, we don't really have this, this, you know, there's not the vast majority of
01:34:57.620
men walking around raping and pillaging through villages, you know, that people like to, like
01:35:05.180
The vast majority, 99% of men are anti-bullying, we're anti-inequality, we're anti-sexual harassment
01:35:18.380
And I think, I think that's what the vast majority of conservatives and the vast majority
01:35:32.000
We're against this, this undertone that people are creating that men are a problem in society.
01:35:40.160
And I think, I think that's why we all got upset.
01:35:42.900
So, Graham, you, by the way, you can catch Graham on Blaze TV.
01:35:49.460
Graham Allen, you can follow him again, blazetv.com slash Beck.
01:35:54.340
Use the promo code Beck and you'll get, I don't know, 10 bucks off or 10% off one.
01:36:00.700
You subscribe for a year, you get 10 bucks off.
01:36:03.220
Do it now at the, just go to blazetv.com slash Beck and see him.
01:36:10.260
Graham, I think this all can be summarized with this.
01:36:13.200
You said Gillette wanted to make a commercial that said, you guys, men, you got to grow up
01:36:21.660
I think the message that men will accept is boys, you need to grow up because men are different than boys.
01:36:33.500
All the things that everybody is excusing is boy behavior, not, not a behavior of a man.
01:36:46.100
You're never more than 60 seconds away from more programming, just under 60 seconds away from hearing from Ben Shapiro.
01:36:52.940
And what caused all the problems with Ben Shapiro?
01:37:03.900
You're going to put the responsibility in your own hands.
01:37:08.660
You're going to design the right, with their help, the right thing for your house.
01:37:13.900
You're not a security expert, but you're not a dummy.
01:37:18.340
You don't need somebody coming in trying to upsell you on absolutely everything.
01:37:25.920
And they're going to give you something that is not wired.
01:37:29.000
So you can take this with you if you live in an apartment or if you're getting ready to move or whatever, you can take this with you.
01:37:34.880
So it's not something that when you try to get out of the contract, you're like, well, I should just stay because somebody else is going to sell me another system.
01:37:49.180
There was a time where only rich people had alarms on their houses.
01:37:57.580
Super, super simple and effective and also priced for you.
01:38:25.640
I'm a little disturbed here reading this article about Graham Allen.
01:38:28.620
The last line said, Graham Allen did not return Yahoo Lifestyle's request for comment.
01:38:34.720
I mean, if you're not going to respond to Yahoo Lifestyle, I don't want to have any dealings
01:38:44.240
And I hope Ben Shapiro knows this, too, because Yahoo Lifestyle may have reached out for comment
01:38:49.700
This is what this is what got Ben Shapiro basically called an anti-Semite.
01:39:00.500
This one has become popular in recent years after the book Freakonomics came out.
01:39:04.200
That argument is that abortion lowers the crime rate, right?
01:39:07.180
That all the that what has lowered the crime rate traditionally has been killing all the would-be
01:39:12.020
First of all, I don't know who's comfortable with the pre-crime version of humanity, where
01:39:18.040
we get to decide before you're born whether you're likely to be a criminal and then abort
01:39:21.160
you based on future criminal activity in which you have not participated, right?
01:39:25.500
The argument, I guess, here is that would you kill baby Hitler?
01:39:29.920
And the truth is that no pro-life person on Earth would kill baby Hitler, right?
01:39:37.180
What you presumably want to do with baby Hitler was take baby Hitler out of baby Hitler's
01:39:40.360
house and move baby Hitler into a better house where he would not grow up to be Hitler,
01:39:46.540
But it is also true that the crime statistics do not even match up.
01:39:50.300
Criminologist Barry Latzer points out that abortions became available in 1973 under Roe
01:39:55.660
Those young people would go on to create a massive crime spike and the crack cocaine epidemic.
01:40:00.620
But if you move forward 15 to 20 years, right, which that's when you would see the
01:40:09.960
The babies that were killed starting in 1973 not to be around carjacking people.
01:40:14.180
But it turns out that people were still carjacking people 15 years after Roe v.
01:40:19.860
The crime spike only began to drop in 1994, a solid 21 years after Roe v.
01:40:34.900
Now, in all of this discussion, I've refrained from discussing the Bible and religion.
01:40:39.220
Now, one of the arguments that I've made is based on the Bible or religion.
01:40:42.340
Now, the media will pretend that I didn't make any of these arguments, that it's all
01:40:44.880
about the Bible and religion, because the left prefers to believe that religion is stupid
01:40:49.420
and people who believe in religion are stupid, people who believe in God are idiots, and
01:40:52.240
that's the reason why we prefer to protect the lives of the unborn.
01:40:55.640
But we do have to recognize one religious root to every argument that I'm making, and that
01:41:03.640
I mean, that's just a collection of great points on the topic.
01:41:07.900
Tell me how you get a defense of Hitler out of that.
01:41:14.860
I mean, it's implausible, obviously, because Ben Shapiro has been attacked by anti-Semites
01:41:22.440
It was a study done by anti-Semitic attacks on journalists in 2016, and he was attacked
01:41:26.920
by more than any other journalist in existence.
01:41:31.900
The idea that he could be some pro-Hitler guy or some, he's so fanatic that he would
01:41:37.360
let the Holocaust happen to not let a woman have an abortion or whatever the accusation
01:41:43.320
So let me tell you what's happening here and why these things are put out, and then they
01:41:50.140
say, oh, I'm really sorry, because it doesn't matter.
01:41:58.740
So if you don't know Ben Shapiro, and you hear that Ben Shapiro was defending Hitler
01:42:05.460
by saying nobody should kill baby Hitler because he loves Hitler, and that's the spin you have,
01:42:11.680
even if you hear a few days later, that's not true.
01:42:17.280
That is seared into your head because it's an outrageous statement and an outrageous position.
01:42:27.520
You don't really care about this, but you saw someplace.
01:42:30.240
I read someplace that he's like a big anti-Semite, okay?
01:42:35.640
You all of a sudden start to say, Ben Shapiro is just a bad guy.
01:42:47.300
You don't know anything about him except all of the falsehoods that have been put out.
01:42:59.060
Misinformation is something, sorry, we made a mistake.
01:43:07.700
There's no way any journalist or anyone could possibly make that claim based on that soundbite.
01:43:18.800
All the typical crap that goes on, knowing that there was absolutely nothing controversial about that comment.
01:43:24.080
And you have to know the difference between misinformation and disinformation.
01:43:36.920
Journalists don't make those kinds of easy mistakes.
01:43:46.800
I want to talk to you a little bit about CarShield.
01:43:50.060
Do you remember when we were kids, you would just pull off the side of the road and you'd have your hood up.
01:43:55.960
And you'd hope somebody stopped because you don't have a cell phone because we didn't have them.
01:44:06.580
And I would watch that heater, the radiator start to go.
01:44:10.240
And I'm like, I got to get out of this traffic or this thing's going to blow.
01:44:14.260
And you would just be like, I'm stuck here now.
01:44:16.920
Remember that fear or the fear of that engine light going on?
01:44:23.780
If you have a car that has 5,000, 150,000 miles, get covered now with CarShield.
01:44:45.440
Spent a lot of time today talking about the kid in the MAGA hat and the incident that happened at the March for Life rally.
01:44:53.700
I have to tell you, I have seen a lot of protesters.
01:45:04.680
I've seen crowds of adults act like morons on both sides.
01:45:13.720
But I have yet to see, outside of perhaps the crowd that we had in Washington, D.C.
01:45:22.800
I have yet to see, I have yet to see a crowd of kids act as Christ-like as I saw these kids in Covington act.
01:45:35.180
And if you read the letter of the main kid, Nick Sandman, who was the guy who was staring down the Native American, he wasn't.
01:46:05.660
I would imagine that for a while there, he either got like the funeral giggles.
01:46:11.240
Oh, I remember being taken back because I had my friend and I, we were altar boys at a funeral.
01:46:26.280
Anyway, he's and I think he's just because he's smiling because of the absurdity of it.
01:46:32.500
But if you watch the whole video, that's only a fraction of a second.
01:46:36.620
And then he hears one of his classmates intelligently, not confronting, intelligently trying to argue with one of the Native American protesters who's calling them all kinds of names.
01:46:54.280
He's like, at one point, he's like, hey, don't, don't.
01:46:57.380
When his friend continues, that's when he turns around, grabs him and says, let's go.
01:47:05.760
I am proud to say this is a group of kids that Martin Luther King would hold up as a great example.
01:47:19.900
She was a chaperone as they were waiting for the bus.
01:47:24.340
They were just there waiting for the bus so they could go home.
01:47:36.040
I am so upset and I don't know any of the kids and I wasn't there.
01:47:46.580
And it's been even more upsetting to see the aftermath and just the torment these kids are going through and being so wrongly accused of something they did not do.
01:48:04.340
As I know everybody's heard, this has been the meeting place.
01:48:10.460
It's a Lincoln Memorial for the boys to meet and get their buses.
01:48:16.980
And every year, everybody does that because that's where the buses can make a circle.
01:48:21.600
It's the only place where the buses can wait and pick people up from all over the country.
01:48:30.340
We had no idea that there was an indigenous march that day.
01:48:34.300
We were there for the March for Life, a peaceful march that we did.
01:48:39.880
We gathered on the steps because, as has been done in past years, the boys typically do their school cheer on the steps down below by the Lincoln Memorial.
01:48:49.660
Once they were gathering, there were other people milling around.
01:49:03.580
Well, I lived in New York for about six years, so I can tell you they're crazy.
01:49:10.580
That's what we call them when you live in New York and you pass them every day.
01:49:13.360
You're like, oh, those crazy people are across the street.
01:49:18.020
They immediately, their eyes just darted over to the crowd of boys and, boom, they were the target immediately from the get-go.
01:49:29.960
People from their group started running around with cameras, jumping up on columns and just filming everything.
01:49:38.200
And the boys just looked at each other like, why are they saying this to us?
01:49:48.200
And the insults and the hatred that came out of the mouth of these people holding Bibles in their hands was disgusting.
01:49:56.200
Everybody, every journalist at every network has passed those guys on the streets of New York.
01:50:06.780
They know exactly the hateful, racist things that they say.
01:50:10.100
And for the journalists in America to actually not give someone else the benefit of the doubt when they have firsthand experience on the streets of New York of those people, it's despicable.
01:50:25.380
And, you know, they just were in shock, as we all were.
01:50:32.180
And so we just thought, you know, we're just going to stay together as our group on the steps and we're going to ignore the insults.
01:50:39.900
And then you have Nathan Phillips with his four or five people.
01:50:44.900
He started, you know, he had been beating his drum and the boys were all crowded around.
01:50:55.800
It's unfortunate that people think we were nowhere to be found.
01:50:59.880
But Nathan Phillips inserted himself into our group of boys.
01:51:07.860
Because I watched several videos from several different people on all sides.
01:51:12.320
If you watch the video from the Native American point of view, they specifically target your group.
01:51:19.500
They specifically approach your group because they say, look at all of those white, white Europeans.
01:51:27.340
And they specifically know what they're walking into.
01:51:38.300
He made it worse because he wants the attention and he has drug this school and these boys and their reputations through the worst possible way that he could.
01:51:54.840
And everyone says, why didn't the boy move away?
01:52:11.760
Most of these kids have never been confronted with this type of situation.
01:52:15.840
And they shouldn't have been done that either by Nathan Phillips.
01:52:21.080
He said that all these people were calling names, blah, blah, blah.
01:52:26.840
He was trying to diffuse this is this is your Catholic student trying to diffuse at one point.
01:52:35.400
He said, I just felt that these adults were trying to use the kids, us kids as a proper.
01:52:51.300
But he knew these kids, I repeat, kids are being persecuted for actions they did not commit.
01:53:00.180
And he talks about how he was standing there with adults trying to provoke them.
01:53:10.960
I want to take a quick break and then I want to come back and continue our conversation.
01:53:18.180
And she was a chaperone, Covington Catholic High School.
01:53:21.680
You should be proud of every student that goes to Covington.
01:53:29.320
If you watch those videos, if your child was in that group, if, in fact, the parents of Nick Sandman.
01:53:39.100
If I was his father, I would say mission accomplished.
01:53:51.200
It's me and it's the Covington Catholic High School that have actually done it.
01:53:56.300
I think these kids are Martin Luther King Junior Juniors.
01:54:08.100
Back in a minute with more from from Jill Hamlin.
01:54:16.240
That's the cornerstone of what 23 and me is and what they do for their clients.
01:54:23.200
I will tell you, I was at the hospital with my daughter.
01:54:29.680
And modern technology is amazing, is absolutely amazing.
01:54:48.240
You're going to learn about your health, your traits, your ancestry and more.

01:55:16.460
All the stuff day to day living and all of the stuff about your ancestors in your history.
01:55:32.360
She was a chaperone at Covington Catholic High School over what?
01:55:37.880
I think it was on Friday that this video was shot and filmed.
01:55:48.220
And it's just it's horrible what has happened to the Covington Catholic High School students over the weekend.
01:55:57.720
There there are apparently some shots and some indications that some of the kids were making, you know, listless, you know, tomahawk chop signals or something like that.
01:56:20.360
I was standing at the very top of the stairs to the side and in the back of the boys to try and just make sure that other people weren't going to come up from them from behind.
01:56:32.980
Because the boys were targeted immediately because of what they were wearing and what they represented.
01:56:41.180
And it's a very sad day that our society has become so full of hate.
01:56:51.160
If you don't agree with one person's viewpoint, it's sickening and it's disgusting that these people bullied underage boys and they're wanting now to put their faces and their names all over social media.
01:57:08.060
Oh, Twitter is not doing anything to stop the hunting of these kids.
01:57:13.060
So, Jill, at what point did you know this had gone horribly awry against the boys?
01:57:20.500
Well, at the point, Nathan Phillips was still in the center.
01:57:27.580
And at that time, the Hebrew Israelites started coming closer to our group.
01:57:36.140
And, you know, I know that everyone's saying, well, why didn't you get them out of there sooner?
01:57:41.700
Well, if we had walked away and tried to get that whole group while Nathan Phillips was in the middle of us, we would have been chastised for being disrespectful and not honoring the Native American.
01:57:55.340
We stood there and waited for him thinking, you know, we didn't know what he was doing.
01:58:00.740
We just thought we need to respect this man and stand still.
01:58:04.340
But once the other group started getting closer and screaming even more filthy, I'm telling you, filthy, disgusting.
01:58:16.140
This is a horrible, horrible, awful group that every, and I mean it, every journalist in New York City has walked by these guys a million times and they know exactly who they are.
01:58:32.220
They say horrible, awful, offensive, nasty things to everyone.
01:58:39.860
So at that point, we said, okay, we need to get them going.
01:58:44.560
You know, there's almost 200 boys, so it's not like all of a sudden you can snap your fingers and they come running.
01:58:51.280
We started yelling at them, let's get, let's go, let's get over here, let's go to our buses.
01:59:00.100
And we went over to, across the street to this little, you know, seating area.
01:59:06.540
And we all gathered over there and waited about another half hour or so for our buses.
01:59:12.800
And when did social media start turning on you?
01:59:15.680
When did you get, when did, when were you alerted?
01:59:19.680
We, it started on the bus ride home because our buses broke down going there and coming back.
01:59:27.520
It was kind of, you know, just a debacle from that standpoint.
01:59:37.760
And all night, the teachers, one teacher was having to take down the social media of Covington Catholic because people had posted the names and email addresses of the entire faculty on Twitter.
01:59:53.920
And then we started hearing this one particular person who inserted herself in the crowd and filmed everything.
02:00:02.280
She was posting on Instagram, a video, and it just, it just got worse from there.
02:00:08.320
And when we got back, well, not when we got back, but before, when all this started, each bus, there were four to five adults in each bus.
02:00:18.820
And we all sat up and told the boys, do not respond, do not forward anything, do not post anything, do not respond to any of these allegations and what is being falsely told.
