00:00:04.820 brave person she was she had she was a woman she had a couple of abortions she worked at

00:00:09.400 planned parenthood and she was a staunch supporter of these causes um in fact no one thought they

00:00:15.280 could convert her uh she actually rose to the ranks of planned parenthood and it all changed 0.56

00:00:19.580 one day um she got into a room where an abortion was taking place it's an amazing story really and

00:00:26.180 and her and her attitude on how to change people's hearts is absolutely right it works they want to

00:00:35.040 make a movie about her they need your support go to unplannedfilm.com that's unplannedfilm.com

00:00:41.740 this one could really change hearts and move the needle unplannedfilm.com

00:00:46.460 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenbeck program so i think

00:00:54.520 the what is it the horrible terrible uh really very bad day whatever that is yeah i think that's

00:01:03.280 continued mattis and his letter of resignation this is not good this is really really not good

00:01:12.920 this is mattis in case you don't know is our generation's eisenhower and and macarthur and

00:01:21.140 patent without the crazy parts this is not good and i quite honestly it's i mean we're we're right up

00:01:29.360 on christmas i don't know if i can handle it i don't know if i want to handle it well we have to

00:01:34.920 talk about it obviously we we do but i i'm not sure i'm not sure glenbeck program i can handle uh all of

00:01:45.140 that uh we've you know we've just let me think of santa just for a little while just think of santa

00:01:51.180 think happy thoughts happy thoughts of course santa's not happy have you seen santa on his big

00:01:57.640 chair in his throne it doesn't look like a very comfortable especially the length of time he's

00:02:02.240 sitting there does not look comfortable no it's not it's not we have a santa chair right here and

00:02:06.620 santa was here just recently for a party we had and uh he wasn't comfortable there was no back support

00:02:11.120 there he needed a next chair and santa would like it because he never has to get up either i mean

00:02:16.300 you're that fat you don't want to get up i know i've lived it i'm living i'm i'm tim allen in the

00:02:23.240 in that christmas movie all of a sudden i look like well if colonel sanders was fatter and dressed as 0.96

00:02:29.760 santa that's me that's me that's true and i think um if you have ever brought your kid in line to see

00:02:35.180 santa you'll notice that you know halfway through the line he has to get up and take a long break

00:02:39.860 yeah that's because his chair sucks doesn't have an x chair yeah needs the x chair and santa if 0.84

00:02:44.940 you're listening and i know you are because you know everything we're doing and you know that this

00:02:49.080 is good so this puts us on the good list uh you have an x chair now a uh x chair basic it's the x

00:02:57.060 basic only available to this audience it is uh much more affordable has all the adjustments that you need

00:03:03.920 uh but it's it's really affordable great for christmas for your spouse if they have an office at

00:03:09.520 home uh or you you know i'm just saying santa might get it for you oh my gosh did santa leave

00:03:16.860 that under the tree for me i didn't i didn't know eight four four four x chair eight four four four

00:03:23.480 x chair not billed by elves which makes it i'm sorry santa a little better free foot rest and save

00:03:30.920 a hundred bucks if you use the promo code beck right now x chair beck.com or eight four four four x chair

00:03:38.260 i just think that um you know there are times that i kind of wish and and you know mattis

00:03:55.580 his resignation there are times that i think you know what it might have been better if um

00:04:00.060 you know i was working and you know just i would have stayed in music radio

00:04:04.000 but i could have been happier but then i realize i wasn't that good uh and so i'd probably be working

00:04:12.260 at that station that every market has and i i want you to know djs i know i know who you are and

00:04:22.600 i i know what you're going through and if you're at one of those stations

00:10:46.360 you need to sell it

00:10:47.360 you need to think about what it's like for you to be in a crowding parking lot

00:10:51.360 think put yourself there

00:10:52.360 ok

00:10:53.360 you need to relate and be enthusiastic but calm and soft but louder but kind of in the middle

00:11:24.360 i mean

00:11:25.360 you know i used to be somebody

00:11:27.360 and now i'm working at this crappy station

00:11:29.360 and you call me every break and you tell me what to do

00:11:31.360 that's right because you can't grasp it for yourself

00:11:34.360 i'm the boss and i know what we need to do

00:11:36.360 to own the angry people in parking lot at malls at christmas shopping demographic

00:11:40.360 we need to have these people coming back after the holidays

00:11:44.360 they're only going to do that if you're both calm and happy

00:11:49.360 okay nobody's gonna go nobody's gonna come back after christmas because we start playing all this crappy music and nobody cares about the crappy music

00:11:56.360 look look at it this way

00:12:08.360 hold on hold on just a second

00:12:09.360 there it is on santa 1099

00:12:22.360 your home for the holidays

00:12:25.360 hi i'm chris kringle

00:12:28.360 and don't forget about the rest of the year here on santa 1099

00:12:32.360 when we're called

00:12:35.360 easy variety

00:12:37.360 1099

00:12:39.360 you're gonna love it

00:12:41.360 we play only the best music from

00:12:44.360 and murray

00:12:46.360 and the best music from the dave clark 5

00:12:49.360 and yanni

00:12:51.360 and only the biggest hits

00:12:53.360 from men without hats

00:12:54.360 but now

00:12:55.360 more christmas favorites

00:12:57.360 with the beach boys

00:13:00.360 you better watch out

00:13:02.360 you better not cry

00:13:05.360 only the best music from men without hats and yanni

00:13:09.360 and the dave clark 5

00:13:12.360 and is there a good song and who thinks of the beach boys when they're thinking about christmas music

00:13:19.360 it's christmas music man

00:13:21.360 nobody's thinking about the beach boys

00:13:23.360 i think about kicking back on a nice beach chair with a towel

00:13:26.360 do you know anybody who has the beach boys christmas album

00:13:29.360 do you have you ever ever walked into somebody's house and they're playing the beach boys christmas album

00:13:34.360 people have said in the past that they like the beach boys and they like christmas

00:13:40.360 we've combined the two

00:13:42.360 and then we go and then we take them from the beach boys and we tell them hey make sure you stick around because

00:13:47.360 and murray is going to be happening after the christmas music

00:13:51.360 i mean nobody listens to that stuff

00:13:53.360 that's why we have to talk about it

00:13:54.360 do you realize we are the number one station during the holidays because of this

00:13:58.360 what is it christmas or

00:14:00.360 yeah and

00:14:02.360 well i you know the rest of the year we average 14 listeners a day

00:14:05.360 14 listeners in an entire day

00:14:07.360 i mean those are both of the ones that are stuck in an elevator at work or

00:14:11.360 on drugs in a dentist chair no one listens

00:14:13.360 all right so you think

00:14:15.360 maybe there's a possibility that's because we're playing the dave clark five

00:14:19.360 our research shows that people aren't familiar with our product

00:14:22.360 that's because we change slogans every freaking holiday

00:14:25.360 we're santa 1099 thanksgiving 1099 easter bunny 1099

00:14:29.360 i mean who listens to easter music is there even such a thing as easter music

00:14:32.360 our research shows that peter cottontail tests well with our women's seven to twelve years old audience

00:14:38.360 let me ask you how about kwanza 1099 how do you explain that we're the whitest radio

00:14:43.360 dave clark five

00:14:45.360 and you put kwanza music on

00:14:47.360 have you ever heard dave clark five's version of happy kwanza

00:14:49.360 no i

00:14:50.360 you haven't

00:14:51.360 i have

00:14:52.360 it's all about diversity

00:14:53.360 kris kringle

00:14:54.360 research shows that diversity is one of the public's favorite words

00:14:57.360 okay all right 0.93

00:14:58.360 shut up hold on this song 0.97

00:14:59.360 okay remember jolly 0.99

00:17:05.360 santa 1099

00:17:17.360 welcome to the glenbeck program we're glad you're here today

00:17:19.360 so james mattis has resigned yesterday and this is because he was surprised that we were pulling out of Syria

00:17:25.360 and apparently afghanistan now too

00:17:29.360 his

00:17:31.360 letter of resignation

00:17:33.360 which we will tweet out here

00:17:36.360 is pretty shocking

00:17:39.360 i think

00:17:41.360 he

00:17:42.360 he says one core belief i have always held that our strength as a nation

00:17:46.360 is inextricably linked to our strength of unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnership

00:17:51.360 while the u.s remains the in

00:17:54.360 indispensable nation in the free world

00:17:56.360 we cannot protect our interests or serve that role effectively without maintaining strong alliances and showing respect to those allies

00:18:02.360 i believe we must be resolute and unambiguous in our approach to those countries whose strategic interests are increasingly in tension with ours

00:18:10.360 it is clear that china and russia for example want to shape the world consistent with their authoritarian model

00:18:15.360 gaining veto authority over other nations economic diplomatic and security decisions to promote their own interests at the expense of their neighbors

00:18:24.360 america and our allies we must use all the tools of american power to provide for the common defense

00:18:31.360 my views on treating the allies with respect and also being clear eyed about both malign actors and strategic competitors are strongly held and informed by over four decades of immersion in these issues

00:18:44.360 we must do everything possible to advance an international order that is most conductive to our security

00:18:53.360 prosperity and values and we are strengthened in this effort by solidarity with our alliances

00:19:00.360 you have the right to have a secretary of defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these subjects

00:19:06.360 it is time for me to step down from my position we we brought uh jason patrill in who is um

00:19:15.360 uh our uh chief researcher and especially when it comes to military affairs he was with military intelligence

00:19:23.360 uh for a while and mattis in case you don't know is is our patten our uh macarthur uh our eisenhower

00:19:35.360 he is the most respected uh military commander of our lifetime is he not he is and and not just

00:19:44.360 respected under uh u.s military either i i've actually set through um briefings where he has briefed

00:19:52.360 uh a coalition of nations together and they look at him in awe you know it's it's the it's the brits it's the

00:19:59.360 you know australians everyone respects mattis there is no other authority uh beyond him that you know

00:20:06.360 is just greater respected if he says something and when it's involved with war fighting uh you listen

00:20:11.360 and everyone agrees with what he's about so if you're in the military today and you heard mattis and

00:20:17.360 you read his resignation um what are you thinking in our military or foreign military and and our allies i'm

00:20:27.360 lies i'm worried uh i'm worried and i i i kind of struggled with what i was going to say coming on

00:20:32.360 here right now because i don't want to uh i don't want to say too much uh but i am worried

00:20:39.360 um there is i and i've i've watched what everyone has been saying about this um even people you know

00:20:45.360 our network now is a lot larger and i've watched what other people on our you know um media platform

00:20:50.360 has said and i don't agree with what a lot of people are saying primarily because they keep saying

00:20:54.360 because they keep saying that you know we can't be the policeman of the world and trump is trying

00:20:58.360 to make us to where we're not the policeman of the world i i totally agree i totally agree but 2 000

00:21:03.360 troops in this area is not being the policeman of the world 2 000 troops in the in this area is the

00:21:08.360 equivalent of what we did pre-world war ii or we've our strategy of just providing like economic aid this is

00:21:14.360 the equivalent of economic aid to uh our troops that are to this country we're um providing these troops

00:21:22.360 specifically so that we don't have to deploy a larger force that's the point we're enabling the

00:21:27.360 kurds and the sdf to do the brunt of the fighting we're there just to ensure that turkey or assad or

00:21:33.960 iran kind of don't commit genocide correct it's exactly why we're there and that's exactly what

00:21:38.960 is about to happen we told these people to trust us again again this has happened to them since

00:21:45.120 world war one we told them to trust us now they're going to get literally wiped off the face of the 0.88

00:21:48.980 planet erdogan has already said he's going to do that jason thank you so much um we'll continue

00:21:54.820 this conversation uh here in just a second it is a a really disheartening and disturbing um uh news

00:22:04.040 that broke yesterday about general mattis more in a second ah we have bill o'reilly he'll comment on

00:22:10.820 this too at the top of the hour this is the glenn beck program

00:22:15.780 you're listening to glenn beck now before jason joined me here he was actually on my protection

00:22:28.580 detail and jason you described me as handy right sure around the oh yeah around the house because

00:22:35.140 you've seen me you know you build a house yeah straight up right now you've lost all credibility

00:22:41.520 now this is loyalty i'm just demonstrating loyalty there that's a marine yes sir uh so uh jason's

00:22:53.460 lying to you i'm not handy at all uh you know something you know something as simple almost as simple as

00:23:02.060 uh you know putting a new garbage liner in the way my wife wants it put in difficult uh changing the 1.00

00:23:10.280 filters nah not gonna happen you have hvac filters for home small businesses you gotta change them

00:23:17.300 take it off your plate filter by can help you they'll give you a discount and they'll send them

00:23:22.280 right to your door filter by.com that's filter by.com 20 bucks off the blaze tv uh subscription if you

00:23:30.700 use beck christmas great christmas present get it now

00:23:33.860 that's why

00:23:41.040 welcome to the uh program we're just uh thanks we're just having a conversation here at the glenn beck

00:23:49.660 program about uh james mattis uh uh walking away and resigning yesterday because the president just

00:23:57.560 announced oh we're gonna leave syria and one of the reasons supposedly one of the reasons is because

00:24:03.400 turkey told the president we're going to go in and get the kurds and now that would make me say uh no

00:24:10.960 no you're not uh as the kurds are always abandoned they will be dead how many times have we turned our

00:24:17.760 back on the car always would this be always a hundred it's it's a lot every time a lot of times every

00:24:23.520 time and uh and it's and it's wrong and there will be genocide with the kurds and any christian 0.67

00:24:30.540 that was hoping things were going to get better forget about that we have just handed the region

00:24:37.240 over to iran turkey and russia very bad very bad pat said when he came in i don't really care about the

00:24:45.820 mattis thing i can't find a way to care about this why because i i don't know that anybody um i don't

00:24:54.980 know that trump listens to anybody anyway i don't know if it matters who's in there i don't i think

00:24:59.620 he's doing what he wants to do and and and i think this is a really good indication of that because

00:25:04.360 i don't know i think certainly doesn't want to pull out of syria he's it's always been said that

00:25:08.520 he respects his generals now maybe maybe not anymore with kelly and mattis uh they're all gone

00:25:14.480 gone there's no more generals left uh but those two i really truly believe i don't know if they

00:25:19.760 voted for donald trump or believe donald trump they might have they might not have i think those two

00:25:25.440 served out of duty and responsibility to the constitution and the america that they understand

00:25:32.740 and love and uh i could see mattis looking and saying look i don't necessarily agree with this guy on

00:25:39.680 everything but someone has to be a stable rod and i will be that guy and and he can't do it anymore

00:25:48.100 that's that's not good can't do that's really not good but i think that's where i i think that's where

00:25:55.000 people are with what's going on now and when they can't convince him not to pull out of syria because

00:26:00.300 it's way too soon and there's way too much to be done but you can look at what's happening now with

00:26:05.200 the border wall all of a sudden he's talking about he's back on the border wall back on why because

00:26:12.000 this because he does listen to the voice of the people and his supporters well yeah i think when

00:26:18.400 fox news turns on him and starts saying negative things about him because they never do i think he

00:26:25.200 that he took notice of that i think he took notice because you even had brian kilmeade criticizing him

00:26:31.680 openly this week and that kind of doesn't happen no and rush had criticized him uh you know in a

00:26:39.160 gentle way mark levin was sort of critical of the syria move he got some really harsh i mean his

00:26:44.600 supporters were really really harsh on him about that well the wall thing was i mean it's ridiculous

00:26:50.700 it's ridiculous uh i mean that you can't go back as who was it that said i thought this was a great 0.66

00:26:57.280 quote oh ben shapiro uh this is read my lips no new taxes that's what that is you cave on that 0.76

00:27:03.880 but i think this one has um impossibly even more significant ramifications going forward straight

00:27:11.780 up strategically this is a nightmare a straight up nightmare if you don't like the united states to

00:27:16.600 be the policeman of the world then you want these 2 000 u.s troops still there and that sounds weird

00:27:22.020 but the moment we pull out of there you are almost guaranteeing that a much larger u.s force

00:27:29.180 will have to go back in the very near future you're almost guaranteeing it because you just handed the

00:27:34.020 region over to iran now if you just if you don't even think about what happened to the kurds if that

00:27:38.980 doesn't bother you at all that they're all about thousands and thousands of people are just about to

00:27:42.820 die a whole race of people a whole culture is going to be wiped off the map and then then the 1.00

00:27:51.860 christians are next i mean it's this is not good i don't what is netanyahu saying today i haven't

00:27:59.240 i haven't really seen but they've got to be livid over this got to be like you would not make this

00:28:03.560 decision not only would you not make the decision without you know you know talking to general

00:28:07.580 mattis in the pentagon which it sounds like they he didn't at all but you also wouldn't make this

00:28:11.380 decision without consulting your other allies when mattis says you know our allies are important

00:28:15.280 he's also talking about them he's talking about everyone in the region who is now like oh my gosh

00:28:20.760 iran is now back in play like they were getting beaten back but they're now back in play look at

00:28:26.140 saudi arabia i'm convinced the khashoggi thing is is was only really a story not because he was a

00:28:33.740 member of the press but because those forces that were for the iranian uh deal and are not necessarily

00:28:41.440 on our side you know they were for the arab spring and they were for oh let's go topple libya and 1.00

00:28:49.020 and let's go arm what now is uh isis you know let's go topple syria those people are the same 0.58

00:28:57.580 people that were all upset about khashoggi well what has khashoggi done khashoggi has seriously

00:29:04.200 damaged uh saudi arabia in the middle east also the whole world obviously but the middle east and

00:29:12.140 and has led to us making sure that we're not helping them in yemen i mean saudi arabia is on the

00:29:21.640 ropes in the last in the last uh month because of their mistake with khashoggi but the way it was

00:29:28.460 portrayed by the press uh on you can now have nothing to do with saudi arabia this is just snowballed for

00:29:37.120 saudi arabia saudi arabia will join with russia if they don't have the united states they will

00:29:45.260 join with russia on oil they will join with china they will join with somebody who will help them

00:29:52.220 because they are about out of money believe it or not and what's brent crude at right now 54 56 yes

00:29:58.560 something like and dropping further right i mean it is this is really not good this is all great news

00:30:06.520 for iran this is if i were in iran and i were in the ruling party i'd be celebrating we are about to

00:30:13.820 take the middle east and it's not like trump has been light on iran right he canceled the iran deal

00:30:18.080 i mean he's done a lot of good things i think on that front it's it's just there's russia there's

00:30:22.180 not a consistency here i think there's not a it doesn't seem like there's an overall picture

00:30:25.980 right like trump is a guy who did very much run on we shouldn't be in these wars i mean he he is

00:30:32.280 much more the pro in the way you think of a democrat thinking on war right like he's always

00:30:37.760 been against the wars and and that's you know look that's i keep hearing people on the news saying well

00:30:42.020 he wants he's doing what his base wants pull the troops home like his base doesn't want to kick 0.98

00:30:45.600 isis's ass like when did that start well they think that see this is the problem it is it is been 1.00

00:30:52.720 spun to the american people by everybody that we have kicked isis's ass and we have but we've pushed 1.00

00:30:59.840 them into the shadows they're still there they have 20 000 active and isis members and i'd like 0.92

00:31:07.260 to point out that this has happened to isis before when they were in iraq during the 2007 surge we did

00:31:12.320 the exact same thing to them uh we pushed them underground they went underground they had less

00:31:16.400 fighters than they do now so they have 20 to 30 000 they had less than that it was only like 700 at

00:31:21.580 the time it was tiny they went underground they regrouped what happened we did the same thing but it was

00:31:26.980 with obama obama pulled the troops out early that allowed them to rise back up and then we had isis and

00:31:32.600 a caliphate see i think and i think that i feel differently and i'd love your opinion on this uh

00:31:38.280 jason but i i feel differently about afghanistan afghanistan is not going to change you're not going

00:31:44.800 to democratize they don't want it they don't understand it and it's not their culture so that's

00:31:51.020 fine we got went in we got the bad guys keep them contained with the bad guys and keep your eye on

00:31:57.100 them but let we bring the troops home from afghanistan um let's but but that's totally

00:32:04.020 different than syria with turkey and and and and iran and israel would you agree with that yeah i would

00:32:11.840 definitely agree afghanistan is very personal for me because i've actually fought there and i've had

00:32:15.960 friends die there um so it hurts me to give it back to the people that will eventually take it

00:32:21.800 the country back over the taliban right and it's a problem but but uh just to to agree with you is

00:32:26.640 it strategically it's less important no it's been called the place where empires go to die die for a

00:32:33.260 reason um and yeah the people will not every single time every single time every time soviet union

00:32:38.400 everyone get out of afghanistan i'm totally fine and i celebrate him saying okay you know what in a

00:32:44.300 strategic way we're gonna call an end to afghanistan we're gonna bring all our troops home 1.00

00:32:48.420 but leave the 2000 in syria leave them there and they're not there to everyone needs to understand

00:32:56.440 this they're not there as a large fighting force they're there literally just to make sure that

00:33:02.920 turkey or russia or whoever else does not touch them that's why when you're playing it's why when

00:33:08.300 you're playing uh chess we're not playing those 2000 guys they're not the queen or the king they're

00:33:15.000 like the bishop or the rook and you leave it there for a reason because if you move it the other side

00:33:22.280 can all of a sudden move around that board in ways that will kill you quickly that's all they are

00:33:28.940 they're a rook mark my words the kurds will they're either they have made an alliance with someone that we

00:33:34.320 really don't want or they will be dead and within months to maybe the very couple years we're going

00:33:42.100 to have we're going to be taught having the same conversation about moving a extremely large u.s

00:33:46.300 force back in because iran is now setting up shop on israel's back door it'll happen and uh and this

00:33:52.580 lindsey graham kind of said the same thing yesterday and again lindsey graham's a big trump ally on on you 0.96

00:33:56.520 know certainly uh recently there is the uh the reporting however is that trump and this is trump trump

00:34:03.540 wanted this right for a long time he wanted to pull the troops out and i think this has happened

00:34:07.500 with other issues as well tariffs are another example he had advisors around him saying this

00:34:10.800 would not be a good thing for the economy i mean i think that they've shown to be right so far um but

00:34:15.440 you know they kept saying no no no no no and eventually got to the point where i said i wanted

00:34:19.040 it you're not you're not even trying to do what i'm saying get out and that seems what's what's

00:34:23.200 happened here with with syria potentially however the added part of this is reportedly he was on a

00:34:30.020 call with erdogan from from turkey and erdogan said basically look why are you these guys are

00:34:36.060 terrorists the kurds are terrorists you're siding with them over your nato ally why are you doing 0.88

00:34:40.340 that we these these people are terrorists they're separatists and we should be able to go in there 1.00

00:34:45.440 and get them and why are you siding with them instead of us and he won trump over with of course

00:34:49.380 the baseline if he wanted to pull those people the troops out anyway and you know i don't know

00:34:53.340 erdogan does not seem like a positive actor uh to me and inciting with his analysis of that

00:34:57.980 situation seems like a terrible idea separatist they this is a this is a man-made border that

00:35:04.180 we imposed on the region to keep everybody fighting with each other i can't say we did but the but the

00:35:10.640 british did to keep everybody at odds with each other it's why strongmen work in the middle east 0.95

00:35:17.180 because they have to defend their tribe this is a tribal thing this is not like the west this is a

00:35:24.120 tribal thing and you're going to wipe out that entire tribe it will be genocide and then the 1.00

00:35:31.500 christians will be slaughtered yet again and i'm telling you this time they will be on the border 1.00

00:35:37.980 of israel and it's i mean this is this is biblical this is damn near biblical we are setting up the end 0.94

00:35:49.980 of times war if we don't if we don't if we're not smart this is gog and magog this is russia and iran

00:35:59.260 working together trying to get israel this is this is not going to end well and uh and and losing

00:36:09.960 somebody like mattis is very bad very bad if you if you support the president please please afghanistan

00:36:19.400 fine leave not there please mr president not syria by the way more on trivia we played this morning

00:36:30.000 pat what was the uh what was the score uh it's kansas city 12 and uh uh seattle 11 wow that's a

00:36:39.340 close this kansas city desperately needs that game too they do both teams kind of do but kansas city

00:36:43.820 really needs it to get home field what's the record again we'll be uh we're 13 to 2 right now this

00:36:47.400 will make is 14 and 2 if we're right wow unbelievable 14 and 2 amazing you get all the back episodes on

00:36:52.700 the podcast right yes you know what it could be a misprint in the bible it's maybe not the meek 0.99

00:36:56.860 shall inherit the earth it's the morons that will there you go very good seems that way it seems to 0.92

00:38:31.120 sleeves um because trouble is coming um i would pull your money out of the stock market if you uh

00:38:37.140 if you are at least my age um you know they say that inflation isn't happening it is happening

00:38:45.220 it just all went into wall street um this year the company buying the companies buying back their own

00:38:51.820 stock because they had that big tax break and they could repatriate their dollars they poured one

00:38:58.760 trillion dollars into the stock market buying back their own stock that's where inflation

00:39:06.180 is happening one trillion dollars of cash was poured into the system it went directly to wall street

00:39:15.320 for a trillion dollars to be poured into the stock market and for us to be struggling the way we are

00:39:22.740 there's trouble because what you're seeing in in on wall street is inflation inflation that is out of

00:39:34.500 control and we'll talk about that and uh help you prepare for what's coming next i have assembled a team

00:39:42.360 uh and we are going to be very very serious unlike we have ever been ever before even when we were on fox

00:39:50.240 connecting the dots and showing you what's coming and what to avoid and how to prepare um that's all

00:39:58.420 coming next year now coming next is mr bill o'reilly and he's going to give us uh his frank and honest

00:40:08.060 assessment of what has happened this week and wow a lot of stuff has happened this week that's coming up

00:40:16.680 next this is the glenbeck program

00:40:19.360 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenbeck program shepherd smith used to make

00:40:31.640 fun of me uh about being in a doom room and you know i understand that i am a catastrophist but i am also

00:40:39.900 an optimistic catastrophist i'm optimistic the catastrophe is on its way i'm also optimistic that

00:40:47.180 i know the american people that when they're informed and when they know what's going on

00:40:51.560 and they are empowered to do something about it they fix anything so i'd like to get bill o'reilly's

00:40:59.960 pov here on the news and over just over the last couple of weeks because it has been a horrible

00:41:08.240 terrible uh no good very bad day or a couple of weeks for donald trump yesterday james mattis

00:41:15.820 resigned i think this is colossal syria we're pulling troops out afghanistan the border he gave up and gave

00:41:24.540 five billion dollars to mexico now he's retracing those steps some north korea has fallen apart the

00:41:32.220 russia letter came out the dow is down 4 000 points bump stocks the president just said yeah let's get

00:41:40.380 rid of that and kavanaugh caved on planned parenthood this is not a string of good things

00:41:48.320 for the president i'd like bill o'reilly to prioritize them or give them each a grade on how much

00:41:54.060 he thinks is just being nervous nelly and how many of these things actually matter to the american

00:42:00.520 people bill o'reilly and his analysis of the news next this is the glenbeck program we're one minute

00:42:11.460 away from bill o'reilly uh he's in he's he's right now he's in the bullpen and he is uh he's he's

00:42:18.080 scratching the ground and snorting and he's ready to go and may throw us all off he's doing what now

00:42:23.260 yeah uh say anything say anything is uh is a uh is a sponsor this half hour it's a game that you can

00:42:30.380 get at target now it's on sale it's a great game i am getting in the car right after this broadcast i

00:42:35.780 am getting into the uh truck we got a trailer and we are we are going for a cross-country ride for

00:42:42.620 christmas with the family haven't done this with my kids and uh and we're not going to take electronics

00:42:48.860 with us and uh oh this one i'm fascinated about my my wife has been every day asking for updates oh

00:42:56.020 they're giving up their electronics for a month huh really oh she's all into this this is like a big

00:43:02.000 dramatic thing happening in in our lives right now we should talk about watching you attempt to do this

00:43:07.280 is going to be fascinating well we've we have special we have we have a set of rules we have a set

00:43:12.240 of rules that are going to be kind of clear-cut today when we get in the car that's the first thing

00:43:15.640 as a family we're going to do but we have a certain set of rules that we don't know how much

00:43:21.080 is daddy tweeting uh daddy and mommy are gonna we'll talk about this later okay we all everyone has

00:43:28.360 like an hour at a certain time to be able to go do your tweet go do things but it's not it's on and

00:43:36.680 then off and locked away interesting yeah it's going to be really fascinating anyway so we're going to

00:43:41.520 be playing a lot of games say anything is a great game it's uh it's a game that you just it encourages

00:43:47.880 you to talk and explore and to be creative even if you're not creative uh my wife likes even to play

00:43:55.520 this game and she's always like i don't like it because i you know i have to act something out or

00:43:59.800 whatever um she is the non-ham uh in the in the family uh and uh and she loves this game as well

00:44:07.980 because it really shows you how people think in the family and it's a lot of laughs it's say anything

00:44:13.400 you can get it now it's on sale great price i don't even know what it is 20 off i think

00:44:18.440 uh just for the christmas season you'll find in the toy section at target

00:44:22.320 the horrible terrible no good very bad couple of weeks for donald trump bill o'reilly

00:44:39.240 hello merry christmas i am father christmas as you described me a couple of weeks ago

00:44:47.540 right speaking to the nation yeah you're like you know what you are you're like you're like

00:44:53.060 bing crosby who we later found out beat his children uh thank you very nice uh bing uh may

00:44:59.740 he rest in peace yes um maybe should have been nicknamed bang bang crosby bang crosby uh anyway

00:45:08.040 yes um i would like to speak to start this off with nervous nelly is she in the studio yes she is

00:45:14.660 she is so let me just go through this list with you one by one and they're the things that have

00:45:19.320 happened and i would like your perspective and your opinion on what's real what really matters what

00:45:24.720 doesn't um for christmas is standing by okay hang on just a second i want it in two different

00:45:30.280 categories i want what's real and matters in geopolitical or or um uh in real terms and then

00:45:39.560 one politically okay so something may not make a difference at all geopolitically but politically

00:45:45.320 it makes a lot of difference okay all right i'm ready all right let's start with the resignation of

00:45:51.060 james mattis uh last night the president uh or yesterday he said we're pulling out of syria uh that

00:45:57.780 is basically going to be an extermination order for the kurds uh and james mattis was upset that he

00:46:04.760 didn't know about it according to his letter there's some light between the two of them uh on

00:46:10.720 how we treat our allies he's very respected does it matter bill o'reilly yeah it matters sure and by

00:46:18.540 the way i was in the white house uh for an extensive period of time on wednesday so you saw a picture of

00:46:23.740 that know that and i had a pretty good inside view of a lot of things so mattis is a very successful

00:46:30.100 defense secretary um i think he had had enough of the chaos that's the key word in this discussion

00:46:37.440 today c-h-a-o-s chaos uh and there is so mattis very disciplined four-star marine general um i think

00:46:49.120 that he differed uh on policy with president trump but i think those differences could have been uh dealt

00:46:55.440 with but i i don't think that uh mattis wanted to be told you know what was going to happen and

00:47:04.400 that was that so i think that's why he left and he was an excellent defense secretary um dissembling

00:47:12.920 isis huge victory i hope he i hope he writes a book about that and explains exactly how that happened

00:47:20.940 very important so we'll miss james mattis the country will does it make our allies nervous

00:47:28.080 no because our allies don't really um file into effective foreign policy for america there's really

00:47:40.380 nobody right now um that's helping us so you know to the to the point that tony blair did uh with

00:47:49.240 britain in the iraq war that kind of a thing australia very loyal to us but the allies are

00:47:55.320 basically looking for their own stuff and i don't really i'm not really concerned about them okay

00:48:00.880 when it comes to can we get an importance level but uh bill high medium or low high mattis is uh

00:48:07.240 gonna be hard to replace okay um let's go to syria pulling the troops out of syria uh here's what

00:48:15.100 lindsey graham said as a big supporter of donald trump if obama had done this we would be all over

00:48:23.420 him as republicans we made a good record that the decision to withdraw from iraq was uh not based on

00:48:31.400 sound military advice in spite of it he did it himself which he has every right to do but he needs

00:48:37.800 to own it and uh i don't think general trump is going to be any better than uh general obama

00:48:44.360 this is uh the billoreilly.com man of the year yep lindsey graham absolutely your thoughts on syria

00:48:53.180 yeah my view is 2 000 uh special forces in syria were effective there in protecting many innocent

00:49:01.440 people from harm um that's pretty much what their role was so uh the president made it clear he

00:49:10.500 doesn't want u.s troops on foreign soil unless you know it's a national security situation with this

00:49:17.780 is not i am not that upset or worried about 2 000 troops coming out of syria is is iran a national

00:49:26.760 security concern yes you just hand you've just handed the region no no beck to yes you need to

00:49:34.060 just just relax all right this is nervous back in there in 16 hours we have bases around the area

00:49:42.300 where uh american forces are stationed we have air power that can hit that place very hard and very

00:49:49.560 quick so if iran were to do something um that was dangerous we could uh very quickly affect that

00:49:59.820 trump just didn't want these guys sitting there they're not so he's moving them around but not

00:50:07.060 pulling out of the region as somebody who has helped move tens of thousands of christians to safety

00:50:15.080 this is the most reckless thing i've ever seen a president do uh possibly only beaten by obama

00:50:25.420 all right we have a little bit of a disagreement there i think that if anybody started to slaughter

00:50:31.660 christians that we would be right back in there very quickly uh so uh importance level would be low

00:50:38.300 low there phil or medium moderate moderate moderate moderate because it's a ripple effect um it did

00:50:44.720 have something to do with mattis resigning i think the department of defense is uh not happy

00:50:51.720 with president trump that's not a good thing so whereas i don't see it as a strategic move that's going

00:50:59.600 to harm the country directly um the fact that it was done this way is not good for the usa so i'm

00:51:07.560 going to give i'm going to let me give mine as well mattis i agree with bill high syria couldn't

00:51:13.660 disagree more with bill high right very high this should be interesting border and giving five

00:51:20.600 billion dollars to mexico he folded and now he listened to his his his tribe and he is trying to

00:51:28.900 reverse that tell me your thoughts on the border and the five billion to mexico all right what's the

00:51:33.500 five billion to mexico five billion what what it was is uh we said we're going to give 10 billion

00:51:39.680 dollars no border wall and we're going to give 10 billion dollars in aid about giving them economic

00:51:45.600 aid yes yes okay all right so there's a new president in mexico and trump apparently has a pretty good

00:51:54.180 relationship with him and the nafta deal helps the united states economically so he wants the guy

00:52:03.880 to do us favors the new president of mexico wants him to do his favors so he's basically backing away

00:52:12.220 from the punitive aspect of uh u.s mexico relations unbeknownst to the public mexico helped with this

00:52:21.520 migrant caravan a lot a lot and that has not been out there it's not been put out there so very few

00:52:30.200 of these caravan people got into the united states very few and mexico is paying for them to sit down 0.80

00:52:36.520 in tijuana um for the rest of their lives i guess so there's a lot of extenuating circumstances now the

00:52:44.020 bigger question is the pr debacle of the president waffling on the wall and you know that's a political

00:52:52.980 thing i would have said to the american people i need two months to solidify this wall and get um a

00:53:03.180 marketing campaign so that you understand why this wall is absolutely necessary so i'm going to extend

00:53:09.380 the spending until february 8th but if february 8th i don't get my wall then the government's going

00:53:15.340 to shut down forever because we're not going to do it that's how i would have done it me too because

00:53:19.640 of the stock market and then i so i would have delayed it a little bit instead of just one day

00:53:25.880 saying uh hey all right all right i'll accept no money for the wall and then the next day after ann

00:53:30.840 coulter ran around the white house on fire saying oh nope i'm reversing because that makes president

00:53:36.540 trump look weak so importance level high moderate or low very high okay hang on just a second because

00:53:42.380 of the stock market the stock market is the big story okay uh well that's the big big story let's

00:53:49.020 take a quick break and we'll come back i don't even hear about stock and i and i also want to know

00:53:52.400 is this a big story on the border uh because of political or or actual effect to all of our lives

00:54:02.640 um or a combination of both all right father christmas is ready

00:54:07.680 just wanted the answer there i don't know why you couldn't have given it to me um liberty safe

00:54:14.480 liberty safe you're no no more than 60 seconds away from uh programming uh we're right back in with

00:54:19.980 bill o'reilly in in in under 60 seconds let me tell you about liberty safe liberty safe uh is just

00:54:25.080 the best built safe on the planet bar none i keep the stuff from george washington uh in my liberty

00:54:30.700 safe i um we we all of the uh stuff for the museum for the mercury museum is in a liberty safe

00:54:38.660 i i mean that's irreplaceable and we live in a place where there are tornadoes they can be sucked up

00:54:45.280 in the air you know the place could burn down whatever we know that they're going to be safe

00:54:50.620 because they have great fire protection and and and um really good seals on them also we have seen

00:54:57.340 these things picked up and dropped two blocks away by a tornado and they're still closed number one

00:55:03.340 safe maker in the nation and they've sold more than two million safes for a reason makes a great

00:55:21.780 safes safes and you can get 12 months interest-free uh credit uh on credit approval easy liberty safe

00:55:30.080 liberty safe.com go there now liberty safe.com

00:55:34.380 glenn beck and bill o'reilly bill uh we have uh we we have the border issue do you say it's

00:55:57.180 very very high because of politics rate them separately politics and uh geopolitical politics

00:56:05.700 all right so geopolitical is more important in politics i'm not a real uh fan of uh doing anything

00:56:12.920 for political reasons so you've got a a nation mexico which is um pretty much out of control

00:56:20.020 right so cartels run uh a lot of what happens in mexico and we know that from the trial of el

00:56:29.540 chapo going on right now in new york city everybody's bribed down there uh and tons of narcotics come

00:56:36.520 into the united states every year tons and what is it 75 000 people dead in 18 from drug overdoses

00:56:45.280 and that's probably about half of the deaths because other they they say that i have congestive

00:56:51.860 heart failure all of that stuff so you got this narcotics just flooding into the country changing

00:56:59.240 neighborhoods uh the expenses in the tens of billions of dollars to deal with these people

00:57:04.780 just that alone you need a wall why because it makes it a lot harder for cartels to get

00:57:13.080 massive amounts of drugs in here they have to funnel then everything into the ports of entry

00:57:19.980 which you're getting much more sophisticated in finding the drugs hidden in the trucks and all of

00:57:26.240 that so just that alone you say you've got to build this barrier and then the people smuggling it makes it

00:57:34.860 much more difficult for the coyotes which are the nicknames of the people smuggle the people and

00:57:40.060 charging the people the poorest people in the world about three four thousand dollars to do it

00:57:44.880 makes it much more difficult for them to do that so therefore the wall is a worthy enterprise should 0.99

00:57:51.360 be built and anybody who's against the wall i'm really i have never heard a rational argument

00:57:57.240 not once oh well it's not a good pr it's not good optics uh you know what i mean it's christmas so

00:58:04.940 i'm not going to say it on a political front donald trump look weak okay simple as that let's go to

00:58:10.860 uh the stock market worst december for stocks since 1931 right if this continues um donald trump is

00:58:19.880 never going to be re-elected that's number one headline he has to have a robust economy going into

00:58:25.780 the 2020 vote and i mean a really good economy so the stock market going down even if people don't

00:58:33.800 have stocks and bonds ripples out because everybody's afraid everybody is the corporate

00:58:39.920 chieftains they're afraid and and anything could happen a recession could happen uh their companies

00:58:47.860 could not earn as much money and therefore they'll be fired the chieftains will be fired fear is driving

00:58:54.780 that market down now can it turn around if trump makes a trade deal with china and the government

00:59:02.860 shutdown thing gets solved somehow yeah that can come back up i'm not selling i don't have a lot

00:59:10.940 of stocks anyway because i my in my position in life i'm more interested in stability than i am in

00:59:19.020 growth so the stock market is the story because every single american is going to be affected

00:59:25.500 if the stock market continues to to decline so importance very high on that one they don't get

00:59:31.920 any higher than that i agree that's it i agree with him that is the key to everything if the economy

00:59:38.140 falls apart everything else everything else is just a domino um the russia letter well let's get into

00:59:45.220 that in a second let me let me go to bump stocks the president has uh has just created a new rule

00:59:52.280 out of thin air that bump stocks need to be banned and within i think 90 days or four months you're going

00:59:59.280 to be a felon if you own one you know i'm not a gun person uh i don't really understand a lot of the

01:00:07.520 intricacies of that my philosophy is that public safety is number one in america um if the people

01:00:16.360 think that eliminating bump stocks is going to make it a safer country okay i'm for it if it has a bunch

01:00:22.800 of bull and it's just a an optics thing um then i'm against it but i'm not really the kind of guy who

01:00:30.580 can give you an incisive analysis of all that gun stuff i do believe in the second amendment i believe

01:00:35.980 that people have the right to defend themselves i don't think they need a bazooka to do it or a

01:00:42.240 mortar to do it or live hand grenades in the garage all right but then you go down the list i don't if

01:00:50.400 somebody lives in a rural area and they want to have an ak i don't have a problem with that but i think

01:00:55.740 that everybody should be able to buy the guns in an orderly way and the authority should know need should

01:01:01.860 know who has the ak all right so that's really my overall view of it and i that's a totally honest

01:01:09.780 analysis i appreciate that i'm wondering bill if you have enough thought on how it happened right like

01:01:14.920 would we be okay with obama doing it through essentially a rule changer slash executive order

01:01:19.800 there was no law passed no but obama did that 50 000 times as everybody knows but do we like it

01:01:26.380 all presidents i know but it's a this is a constitutional piece and we shouldn't accept

01:01:31.480 that from obama or trump or anybody else no then somebody should raise the issue in a way that it

01:01:37.580 could be voted upon i agree i'm for that by the way low priority though on that one bill yeah for me it

01:01:43.580 is okay all right all right back in just a second more bill o'reilly we get into russia and kavanaugh

01:01:51.180 and so much more father christmas in a minute you're listening to glenn beck let me tell you

01:02:01.100 about our sponsor gold line uh as bill just said there's nothing more important than the stock market

01:02:07.380 uh because it has all kinds of ramifications he said you know he wouldn't tell people to get out

01:02:12.840 i'm not a financial advisor i would uh if you are my age i would uh because this is not

01:02:21.160 going to be stable i told you last hour inflation is here is in here in a big way the stock market

01:02:27.460 has gone down 4 000 points in the last what two months 4 000 points at the same time companies

01:02:35.780 poured one trillion dollars into the stock market buying their own stock that's where the inflation is

01:02:58.840 all right blaze tv.com slash beck is the place to go 20 bucks off for beck christmas as your promo code

01:03:08.440 do it now

01:03:09.180 welcome to the glenbeck program uh if you missed any of it you want to go back and listen to the

01:03:20.680 whole show today you can get that at glenbeck.com or wherever you uh find your podcast but the uh the

01:03:26.900 show started with something really really uh very funny and then we talked about mattis uh and then

01:03:32.380 we've brought on uh our weekly uh uh spotlight on the professor the egghead uh bill o'reilly who can

01:03:40.580 set us straight on everything that is happening in our world and we've been talking about uh all of

01:03:46.320 the things that have happened that have not necessarily gone in favor of uh president trump

01:03:51.200 in the last few weeks uh james mattis uh resigned last night we're pulling out of syria and afghanistan

01:03:57.460 with afghanistan i agree with syria i think it's crazy uh the border debacle uh north korea we didn't

01:04:05.400 mention that fell apart uh the dow is down 4 000 points in the last two months the president came

01:04:12.540 out with an executive order of banning bump stocks uh let me start here uh just quickly because i don't

01:04:18.220 think this is worth that much uh conversation are you concerned on what happened with kavanaugh in the

01:04:23.860 last couple of weeks where he he ruled in favor of planned parenthood no it's a technicality i think

01:04:31.020 um kavanaugh trying to signal his judicial independence um so i that didn't concern me that

01:04:39.680 much um the way the case was presented was not the way it should have been presented in my opinion

01:04:45.720 i mean the basic planned parenthood deal is this organization should not be receiving government funds

01:04:52.740 that's what should be ruled upon and texas needs to basically reorganize refile the litigation and

01:05:01.420 just put that up front so priority low on that one that's that's that's that's no but it's reassuring

01:05:07.240 it's a high priority in the sense that why are you forcing why is the federal government forcing

01:05:12.640 people who do not believe in abortion to pay for it the issue is a big issue but the kavanaugh part of

01:05:18.200 that you think is lower that's been very conservative he was very true signaling that i'm an independent

01:05:23.960 guy i'm not you know just going to go along with whatever the conservative movement wants okay um and

01:05:30.040 the the last one is the russia uh letter that that shows that there was a business deal an agreement to

01:05:40.040 uh explore uh building trump tower and it was a pretty extensive letter signed by the president

01:05:47.260 also co-signed by somebody he he said he he couldn't recall the name he didn't even know

01:05:53.240 who that person was when he was asked about it by the press this is something that he specifically

01:05:57.760 denied several times tell me about your thoughts on that and it's important i don't really know what

01:06:04.700 the denial concern um as a private citizen donald trump made deals all over the place and letters of

01:06:11.620 intent um were very very uh common and i don't know whether he paid attention to it i don't see

01:06:19.860 any deception here i just don't see it okay hold on hold on before you before you go too deep

01:06:25.420 let me give you your words just a few weeks ago when we talked about this uh go ahead and play this

01:06:31.260 if so if there is a letter and he did sign it does it matter yeah that would matter because if there's a

01:06:37.940 letter of intent to build a condominium in moscow that's a business dealing so that would matter

01:06:47.140 okay so even if he because see this is this is interesting because um i buy into the letter

01:06:53.560 and i don't think that there was anybody i don't think it's going to come from

01:06:58.220 seen it in several places um october 28th 20 october 28th 2015 was the date it was the date of the

01:07:07.260 third republican presidential debate and i think this is an interesting one bill because

01:07:10.820 it's one of those things everyone can throw out these accusations this one should be provable if

01:07:14.960 it was but what but if they have the letter they should be able to show it right yeah if they have

01:07:18.640 the letter it should be in the muller report when it comes out ago it would have been a long time

01:07:22.980 ago if if cohen had a letter and cohen would be the guy but he was the guy just yesterday he's just

01:07:31.940 yesterday came out and said okay yes i did lie about this too sorry so so here's the thing i don't want to

01:07:36.680 even i don't really care i i get to the point on this one when the facts are out then we'll be able

01:07:43.100 to comment on it i'm not i'm not holding the letter out as because i'm not talking about i'm only talking

01:07:50.940 about politics here don't use the word lie and fall into the trap of all of the hate trump media

01:07:59.100 look listen to father christmas okay stop so now that was you a couple of weeks ago okay and it look

01:08:05.960 there's a the problem with this stuff is the definition and now you go back to bill clinton

01:08:12.780 all right so a letter of intent to do something is not doing something um and so trump is going to

01:08:21.980 hide behind and i'm not sticking this is just so you know i have for just for definition sake

01:08:27.060 this is an loi a letter of intent and it's and it is it says that throughout the 16 pages it's loi

01:08:37.220 it never came to fruition so when when muller asked trump do you have any business dealings or did you

01:08:44.960 have any business dealings in russia trump in his mind and again i'm not justifying it says no

01:08:50.460 because we never signed a deal we never began construction we never put money in there they

01:08:57.980 never gave us money it was just an exploration a letter of intent now if it were me and somebody

01:09:05.480 asked me i would have said eight months ago whenever it came up yeah we were looking at trying to do

01:09:12.020 something there as a private citizen and it didn't come about so that's what happened that's what trump

01:09:20.080 should have done why he doesn't do these things i don't know i don't know he creates problems for

01:09:28.420 himself but is it a felony no i don't think there's i don't think so no i i don't think there's that i just

01:09:35.720 it's it's the continuation of donald trump not articulating in an effective way

01:09:44.040 it's more than a lot isn't against him isn't lie fair here bill i mean it's fair he you know look

01:09:51.300 i don't know i mean i'm not gonna say it's a lie if the guy if the guy didn't do it and i know in his

01:09:58.080 mind he's going i don't have a business dealing with him right in his mind that's what he's saying

01:10:02.520 but what but the intent here while he was on stage saying i don't know any of these people i don't have

01:10:09.040 anything going on he was briefed three times about the progress of the the intent to build in fact

01:10:18.280 uh putin's own office was involved back and forth with his people so what what the the spirit was is

01:10:27.560 are you an honest broker do you have anything that we should know about with russia yes you should

01:10:34.240 know that i'm trying to build a deal but that doesn't change anything that's this this whole

01:10:39.080 this this whole no i don't have anything i don't know what you're talking about

01:10:43.660 is is just in his mind that's the truth is it the real truth for everybody okay so hang on just a

01:10:53.300 should have said what you just said is bruce jenner issues a bill before i got into politics

01:11:01.260 is bruce jenner a woman

01:11:03.480 all i know is that i believe bruce jenner was promised a condo in moscow

01:11:12.200 he's colluding okay so rush your letter i mean because i think i think you're where i think you're

01:11:17.160 where we are on this and that like he i just wish he would make it easier for everybody i'm with

01:11:22.020 not just you but i think the american people would like a president all right who is straightforward

01:11:29.440 yeah all right he didn't rationalize answers but who is that person right i'm a presidential

01:11:37.320 historian i mean i 90 percent of them rationalized everything they don't want to put out stuff that

01:11:44.460 makes them look bad trump's memory i don't even think is any good all right i mean you know who knows

01:11:51.980 his capacity for all of this stuff i don't it's not a big deal of me i think the biggest story of

01:12:00.020 the year is the organized organized cabal that wants to destroy his presidency that's what i think

01:12:08.340 the biggest story of the year is and they may well succeed wait wait wait

01:12:13.980 how do you mean you have three powerful entities lined up to drive donald trump from office

01:12:25.680 muller the establishment media and the democratic party that's a lot to fight

01:12:35.840 and they all three are working in concert beck and stew to drive him out of office or to injure him so

01:12:47.340 badly that he cannot win re-election they're acting in concert by wiping clean of struck and pages phones

01:12:57.860 by people in muller's office you know that story yes proves that beyond a reasonable doubt

01:13:06.540 three of them are after him and i don't think he can stand up to it i i just don't think he can't

01:13:14.580 see i think he could another reason that the stock market is in decline yeah i will tell you that i think

01:13:20.320 bill um you are correct based on the last uh few moves of the president um if he loses his base if he

01:13:29.540 doesn't if he doesn't live up to his promises and he's not rock solid toast uh coupled with the economy

01:13:37.840 he's done it'll be built somehow yeah uh bill i think i think what's interesting i know you're up

01:13:43.160 against a break because you gotta have money uh to do cross but you on for free yeah i know i am i am

01:13:50.300 the most father christmas is a benevolent force that's why i do this free um but i'm doing it

01:13:56.340 for my book giving you the plug and all that so it's very nice of you but are you coming to my

01:14:01.300 neighborhood in your little truck on your cross country thing because i want to host you back if

01:14:06.140 you come to long island no why would i why in god's green earth would i select here anything near new

01:14:14.820 york many beck fans are here oh i oh i know that and i'm trying to get him to move to texas truck

01:14:21.260 across the washington bridge come down to long island and uh where are you going where what's

01:14:27.500 the itinerary i don't think that's any of your business oh i see i i i mean if you are indeed

01:14:33.300 father christmas you'll know where i am that's true up above your head in a sleigh yeah my kid my

01:14:39.440 my kids are saying i don't think bill o'reilly is real and i'm like we're gonna test it we're

01:14:44.360 gonna see if he finds us this christmas bill i want you to have a good time you too uh i'm sure

01:16:24.940 uh wasn't there a house that had x uh you know as their house symbol and and they were upside down

01:16:36.560 you should get the x chair basic it has all of the magic of the dynamic variable lumbar uh which i've

01:16:45.800 never sat in a chair like this have you that adjust the whole back oh yeah like this great it's

01:16:50.600 it's nice it's like a nice hug as you're sitting and i just hugs you makes you feel wanted needed

01:16:57.700 respected i'm afraid at times i might get my fat caught in it no that's that's probably more our

01:17:05.420 fault than the x chair it's got these it has these separate things in the back that all are

01:17:09.980 that adjust for your back and it's it's great i just as a rubenesque man uh i may have to

01:17:19.580 stop i may have to start sitting in santa's chair i'm not sure i'm not sure anyway holidays are here

01:17:25.900 get the x chair it is perfect it is so great um we love it you're gonna love it if you use my name

01:17:51.560 donald trump says shutdown of the government today if they don't vote for border security

01:18:01.920 we'll we'll see what happens would you uh say you know what i'm not signing the criminal justice

01:18:08.260 reform thing either until you get this done yep get it done yep you want that that's something

01:18:12.140 they really want the democrats really want it now passed overwhelmingly probably would be overridden

01:18:16.300 all right the veto but still that doesn't matter yeah doesn't matter go ahead override override it

01:18:21.360 i'm not gonna this office this pin does not work my big veto stamp does this pin doesn't work until i

01:18:28.020 have border security on my desk i know it's a big jared kushner priority so i don't know that he would

01:18:32.880 want to do that with criminal justice keeping the keeping the government open keeping uh our

01:18:38.580 government safe is more important today than uh than criminal justice and that will happen anyway

01:18:45.320 um can we do a quick lightning round of bill's ratings and see if you agree with him yes said

01:18:49.220 mattis was high uh high importance yes border high importance yes syria moderate importance the

01:18:55.480 disagree huge importance um um the russia letter he said low importance high importance um the dow uh

01:19:02.660 in the economy colossal biggest kavanaugh he said low importance um i like his explanation on that

01:19:08.600 one yeah kavanaugh don't get worried kavanaugh was ruling on a technicality uh texas should come back

01:19:15.000 with a stronger case and uh he'll hear it not sure if that's wishful thinking but i'm willing to go into

01:19:20.360 wishful thinking on that one um bump stock ban uh he said low priority uh because he was making about

01:19:25.140 guns i say that's not a gun issue that is a constitutional issue yeah and i think that's a high a high

01:19:30.820 priority a high priority so you were pretty much high on almost all of these with exception of

01:19:34.760 kavanaugh which i think there's room you could go low or moderate i think with kavanaugh um because i

01:19:38.680 think it's true it's not completely revealing of which way he's going to go but i was already nervous

01:19:43.300 about him going in and it didn't help me at all no i know i want to give you another perspective of

01:19:49.840 all of the things uh that are that are going on today uh and uh get your opinion on that also

01:19:57.240 a final christmas story before we leave you

01:20:01.060 hey it's glenn and i want to tell you about something that you should either end your day with

01:20:06.880 or um start your morning with and that is the news and why it matters if you like this show you're

01:20:14.160 gonna love the news and why it matters it's a bunch of us that all get together at the end of the day

01:20:18.900 and just talk about the stories that matter to you and your life the news and why it matters

01:20:23.500 look for it now wherever you download your favorite podcast

01:20:25.980 the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenbeck program

01:20:34.900 so i want to give you i want to set up a scenario let's say that a very liberal president

01:20:43.540 a democrat is in office and he does these things pulls us out of multiple wars he forces out a hawkish

01:20:53.980 secretary of defense he gets very protectionist on trade he passes criminal justice reform and then

01:21:01.660 he bans bump stocks unilaterally do you think the press would be reacting the way they are reacting

01:21:09.440 when donald trump has just done all of these things i contend not on your life in fact the same

01:21:17.120 people would be calling for him to be the obvious clear winner of the nobel prize

01:21:23.460 this is the glenbeck program gonna get into the news of the day and uh and chad prather is uh with

01:21:32.360 us and uh get his view on uh on some of the things that are going on first let me tell you about uh

01:21:37.580 casper one minute and we're back to the program casper mattress if you if you if you if it's time for

01:21:53.280 yeah well you're not me and i'm not you uh thank god you don't have my body uh and so we're gonna all

01:22:00.320 think that things are different that's why they make different kinds of beds but you kind of go into

01:22:04.800 the store and you're like oh let me lay on this with my shoes on and and wrapped up in a winter coat

01:22:09.700 yeah i'm gonna be able to figure out if this the bed that i want for the next 10 years

01:22:13.200 casper knows this this is why they allow you to try it for 100 nights in fact they encourage you try

01:22:36.580 chad prather uh a uh a comedian uh a kind of the the will rogers of the conservative uh side

01:22:52.220 if you will um who has been doing comedy tours and and quite honestly uh has has pinned and sung

01:22:59.040 one of the greatest songs ever uh ever made uh i've got friends in safe spaces

01:23:04.500 uh which give me the just give me the hook of that i love that i've got friends in safe spaces

01:23:10.620 if you don't go with us you must be racist come on uh let's see what is he come on in let's get

01:23:16.380 cozy showing off participation trophies watching cnn in safe spaces how are you chad i'm doing great

01:23:24.540 i'm doing wonderful yeah i'm ready for christmas and i thought we were going to take a little break

01:23:28.420 but no it's been but you know what it's been fun you guys have had me in had me on the shows this

01:23:32.440 week and i've enjoyed coming over so yeah appreciate that you have you're you're a guy

01:23:36.660 what were you doing before youtube i was depressed i was miserable i was i was in i had gone

01:23:44.320 you know i used to travel all over the world and i was a motivational speaker and i and i was all over

01:23:49.040 the place and and you know i then i went through kind of a breaking point in my life and i climbed

01:23:54.840 into that proverbial cave for about five years and i said you know instead of being entrepreneurial

01:23:59.080 and stepping on landmines everywhere i go i'm just going to go do what everybody else does and

01:24:03.280 i'm going to join the corporate world and get a paycheck and i was miserable with that and so one

01:24:08.080 day i was at the gym i was not in the gym i was at the gym there's a huge difference i love you for

01:24:12.740 that i love you because i i'll go to the gym i'll go to the i'm not going to go in yeah and i'm sitting

01:24:16.840 under a shade tree making phone calls i call my wife on the phone and i said i said i'm quitting my job

01:24:21.660 i'm miserable and she said if that'll make you happy i said thank you because i've already quit

01:24:25.260 and she said what are you going to do and i said and it sounded so articulate in my head i said i'm

01:24:29.120 going to go make a living just being myself and she said chad what's the street value on your

01:24:34.120 personality and me being equally quick i said it's about the same as president obama giving a keynote

01:24:39.480 speech at the nra convention she said that's hands down worthless so you know we had no idea i just knew

01:24:45.380 that i had i i felt like one of those things i felt like years ago god said to me one day you'll speak

01:24:50.800 to thousands of people i just had no idea i'd be sitting alone in my truck when i did it yeah you

01:24:55.140 know what i mean it's god has interesting different plans and strategies for our lives

01:25:00.160 because i was i was on a bigger and bigger platform back in the day when i was working

01:25:03.640 with ministries and organizations and going around the world and i thought well i'm on i'm on the road

01:25:08.200 i'm headed up on the pedestal and you get knocked off it is so strange because it's almost the same

01:25:13.860 experience when i was eight um i i felt um a prompting that uh someday what you do will be a turning

01:25:23.440 point yeah uh and i i remember it and it it in in some ways it screwed me up uh because later as i got

01:25:31.640 further from it i thought i knew what that was going to be and so i became a little more arrogant

01:25:37.380 and i know that i'm right and it wasn't until i gave up on all of it and just said well that was a 0.92

01:25:45.260 stupid little thing that i don't even know if that happened and what am i doing i'm screwing up my 0.71

01:25:50.220 whole life and i wasn't even me anymore yeah and i started to risk i mean stew knows he was there the 0.99

01:25:56.140 day i looked at him on the air and said i turned off my mic and said write this down in your calendar

01:26:00.780 do you remember this oh yeah write this down in your calendar this is the day glenn back ended his

01:26:04.240 career because i started being me really me and then the whole world changed i mean it's it's this

01:26:12.500 weird thing we are so concerned that i'm not good enough i'm not this i'm not that if if people only

01:26:19.420 knew uh you know who i really was and that's what they want to know yeah there's a psychological term

01:26:26.360 and i can't remember it right now but most celebrities have that sense of the the curtain's

01:26:30.740 going to be pulled back and they're going to expose the wizard and they're going to be seen for the

01:26:34.520 talentless hacks that they all are and they all have that fear of that you know frederick

01:26:38.340 nietzsche said that you can only wear two faces to the world for so long before you forget which

01:26:43.020 one's the real one and that was kind of where i was living i didn't know who i was and so it's funny

01:26:47.380 me too you know i look at when i when i just said i'm going to be me because i was you know

01:26:52.860 the bible says john the baptist was a voice crying out in the wilderness he wasn't an echo he was a true

01:26:57.540 voice and i said i'm gonna go find my voice and i'm gonna be me i'm gonna be comfortable i put on

01:27:03.080 this cowboy hat and that's the world i came out of and i said you know i'm just gonna enjoy

01:27:07.280 being myself and so that's the biggest response i get back from youtube and facebook videos and

01:27:12.420 that is they say we love the genuineness you say the things we want to say and we're afraid to say

01:27:16.960 you articulate it in a way that we've never thought about saying it and you make us smile when you do

01:27:21.200 it so you know i'm a little bit tongue-in-cheek with everything i do i'm self-deprecating in my

01:27:25.820 humor and it's okay i don't i believe if you can't laugh at yourself you know i mean my friend

01:27:30.560 gary chapman he he said to me years ago he said he said you know when you hit rock bottom look around

01:27:35.620 you'll see my name carved on the wall in a couple of places three or four times and i said you know

01:27:40.140 i think life is really interpreted by the breaking points i think when you look back at the journey 0.87

01:27:44.900 of your life how many times were you broken how many times did you say damn i was on the wrong i 0.69

01:27:50.560 mean this is and i had to get broken down to a bare essential of humanity so that you become a

01:27:55.520 dependent human being again on on something stronger and more powerful than you and it makes

01:28:00.260 you real it hurts it hurts you know i can remember going through a real hard time several years ago

01:28:05.980 and i called my mentor on the phone and i said you know i i don't know how to deal with the situation i

01:28:10.840 don't know how to come out of this this cave is dark and he said just get back on the cross and finish

01:28:15.320 the job he said you know just go ahead and get it over with just go ahead and die that's back when i

01:28:20.760 realized that there's some things that god doesn't want to take to heaven that's in you he gonna get

01:28:25.060 some of it out yeah yeah and now and here you are now you started youtube what 2012 yeah a little

01:28:31.940 bit after that you know i was doing i had started doing a television show which no one was watching

01:28:36.080 on cable and it's a travel television show it's an equestrian lifestyle humor show anyway it's about

01:28:42.280 a production assistant who said you know you're always putting these videos out on social media

01:28:45.960 and i'm not i say that tongue-in-cheek but i really was a depressed person i was i was medically

01:28:50.500 depressed and uh for me it was therapy because my wife used to say all the time she said chad go

01:28:56.320 talk to somebody go talk to i said i don't want to do that you know and there's no shame against it

01:29:01.020 i said i just feel weird being a dude that's going to go sit on a leather couch with a strange dude

01:29:04.940 that every 15 seconds says how does that make you feel it makes me feel creepy so i just didn't want

01:29:10.820 to do it and and i said i got an idea so i started putting little observational humor vignettes on

01:29:17.260 facebook and she said you know you can make money off of that and i said i have no idea

01:29:21.040 so she kind of told me about youtube and things like that and for me i people think that i made

01:29:27.660 all this money off of doing social media videos really it was the doors that had opened up for

01:29:32.360 me on the back side i didn't do it to make money for me it was therapy and i had no idea when i put

01:29:37.200 a camera phone on the dashboard of my truck while i was sitting in traffic that millions of people were

01:29:40.960 going to be watching to the tune we crossed it over a billion and a half views on facebook alone

01:29:45.540 in just two years and it's just been outrageous so we translated that into speaking tours and comedy

01:29:53.600 tours and i still don't see myself necessarily as a comedian although i don't think many people

01:29:57.720 really know the difference you're you're one of these guys that a lot of people will walk up and

01:30:02.680 they'll see this huge auditorium and traffic is snarled and they'll say who's who's why here

01:30:09.620 what is it michael jackson back from the dead who's here yeah and they'll say some guy named

01:30:15.960 chad and they'll both stand around go who exactly it's what it's weird how huge an audience can be

01:30:23.800 now without people knowing it unless you're connected to them through youtube you know you

01:30:30.760 know and a good friend of mine and i'll tell you what i think that is glenn i i because a lot of people

01:30:35.080 say well i don't know who you are and then somebody will show i was sitting on a plane a couple of

01:30:38.720 years ago on my way to phoenix and i could hear my voice like three rows behind me and someone was

01:30:44.300 watching one of my videos and then and then i've had people who walk up to me the airport and they're

01:30:48.220 like oh my god you know who this is and the person with them says i don't have a clue and then they'll

01:30:51.320 say it's this guy and they show him in the context of me with the hat in the truck and they're like oh

01:30:55.560 okay we know who that is but what i think is and i've got a good friend rob long out in hollywood

01:30:59.960 he's a you know yale graduate he was executive producer of cheers and you know this guy he's written so

01:31:05.020 many shows out in hollywood and he's conservative guys he's consistently on conservative talk and

01:31:09.680 um he just did a poll study recently that revealed that 65 of the people in america feel like that

01:31:16.020 they're being underserved by the entertainment that's coming out of hollywood we say duh we know

01:31:20.920 that but hollywood and that bubble of new york and hollywood and those places they don't realize

01:31:25.480 there's the rest of america out here and so what i said and i didn't want to come out as a political

01:31:29.960 flamethrower although i do delve into politics because i love it i love the concept of leadership

01:31:34.500 leadership and i think i like to look at politics because i like to make fun of the fact that we're

01:31:39.140 void of so much true leadership in a world today but i don't want to be a flamethrower with it i want

01:31:44.860 to poke fun at it and as long as washington's writing the jokes for us i'm going to try to tell

01:31:48.800 them and and i said there's this audience out there there's 65 million people who voted for

01:31:54.740 donald trump and they feel neglected they've been called deplorables and all these things let's go out

01:31:59.220 there and entertain them and so that's the response that we got it's amazing to see the people who turn

01:32:04.140 out you can tell our fan base when they show up you know we can recognize them coming and those

01:32:09.960 people they drive for hours we've sold out in cities like seattle i was in your birthplace everett

01:32:14.860 washington we sold on everett washington of all places you know i was born in i google uh i don't know

01:32:20.460 how i ran across that but i remember seeing that somewhere and i was like yeah we did a show in

01:32:24.640 everett a year and a half ago something like that and uh portland and san jose and new york we sell

01:32:32.060 out yeah and i keep telling my agents and these guys who book for me in la i'm like stop putting

01:32:36.260 me in these big cities because all my guys are having to drive in for two hours yeah yeah we've

01:32:42.340 had tour stops like that too where you're just like they yeah no one in this theater has ever been

01:32:46.140 within five miles of this place you know what's really weird is when we did san francisco we did

01:32:50.380 the shrine auditorium auditorium in san francisco big beautiful 3 000 seat theater we thought

01:32:56.040 no one would come right packed to the rafters and everybody in there i even said it you could

01:33:02.900 feel it everyone in there all of a sudden kind of felt like oh thank god i'm i'm safe in here

01:33:09.740 and i'm not alone in my everyday life it was it's so bizarre when that happens all right more in just

01:33:16.300 a second i want to talk about some of the uh the politics of the day with chad prather coming up

01:33:21.420 first uh simply safe the simply safe is the way for you to protect your home uh the simple and

01:33:30.580 inexpensive way when you get uh your simply safe home uh uh package you open up the box and you plug

01:33:40.240 it in and it'll say okay here's what you do i mean you really don't even have to read instructions you

01:33:45.220 could tell this was designed by a guy it had to be because you don't read the instruction manual it

01:33:49.560 tells you what to do um and uh so you put it together and it's like a half an hour really

01:33:54.560 and i can do this and i don't and i'm not kidding i didn't own a screwdriver until a couple of years ago

01:34:03.280 and my wife bought it okay that's how handy i am i'm not i can do this it's really inexpensive it is

01:34:11.140 top of the line it is state-of-the-art technology uh and 24-hour uh monitoring they call police

01:34:19.560 they call uh you know the fire department or ambulance whatever you need that is only 14

01:34:25.160 dollars and 99 cents a month and there's no contract it's the simple way to protect yourself

01:34:29.720 your home your family it's simply safe beck.com go there now simply safe beck.com

01:34:35.280 10 second station id

01:34:37.880 so we have uh chad prather who is uh taking a break from his comedy tour you can go to his

01:34:59.520 website watch chad.com that's watch chad.com the uh chad prather show um you are on you're

01:35:07.820 on tour like 90 stops a year is that right yeah we do about 90 tour stops and they're all on the

01:35:15.180 weekend yeah pretty much pretty much every now and then we'll do you know we're headed to biloxi

01:35:20.840 mississippi for the new year so that's a the 30th is a sunday the 31st is a monday of course that's a

01:35:25.640 special occasion but we'll do every now and then like through the summer if we're trying out new

01:35:29.280 material or whatever we'll go to comedy clubs i don't do many clubs i do mostly theaters

01:35:32.800 and we've had cincinnati we back in the summer we had a comedy club on sunday night we had 500

01:35:37.760 people that showed up sold it out on a sunday night i mean it's it's it's a blessing it's humbling

01:35:42.660 is what it is you come you come here and you're selling out you know oh yeah we had i mean like i

01:35:47.580 said we had 3 000 of our closest friends a couple weeks ago here and here in town yeah okay so um so

01:35:53.000 chad let's let's talk about first of all um rate this year as far as because last year i remember

01:35:59.840 saying oh my god i'm glad this year is over uh only to enter this year which is even crazier yeah and i

01:36:07.760 find myself now saying i'm not sure i'm glad this one's over because i i'm not looking forward to what

01:36:13.620 might happen next year how do you are you do you feel that way at all i feel like we're watching a

01:36:20.000 toddler learn to run learn to walk and stumbling along and trying to feel their way it's upright uh you

01:36:27.800 know it's moving forward but it's still trying to find its way and there's still a lot of sharp

01:36:32.720 corners there's a lot of things there's there's things you want to say oh you know you want to

01:36:35.880 protect the child from bumping into certain things and it feels like especially today i mean you look

01:36:41.260 at the last two weeks and it feels like we're bumping into a lot of things yeah but i felt like

01:36:46.140 it's almost like you know when a child's cruising it just to take that terrible analogy a little further

01:36:51.280 child's cruising you're like wow that's exciting all this good stuff's happening but then there's that

01:36:56.240 one bruise that defines the moment and you're like dang it you know we almost had it right and i

01:37:02.140 think we're in that we're taking a little bruise right now and uh you know we had a lot of things

01:37:07.740 that have gone really really well so i don't know that i'm necessarily surprised i'm a little

01:37:13.000 disappointed that it's all happening at once but if you are a trump fan you have to see this as a good

01:37:19.340 thing that it's all happening around christmas because at christmas nobody's paying attention

01:37:22.960 yeah well you know i think that uh i think people are starting to perk up though they're seeing it

01:37:29.460 there's some disappointing things trump has a fan trump trump has a base that i think some of them

01:37:34.480 are starting to get a little bit disenchanted a little bit um they they feel a little disenfranchised

01:37:40.280 they feel like they maybe they're starting to be forgotten again and i'm starting to point that out

01:37:44.620 it's weird because it's all happened since after the kavanaugh thing right because kavanaugh

01:37:50.960 was galvanizing for him for even the people who were feeling like i'm not so much on the trump

01:37:57.000 train that one when that was happening everybody was like yep good for him standing his ground so

01:38:04.240 it's been a very short period of time yeah do you think very short period of time i saw a statistic

01:38:10.120 and i don't know if it's true or not i just glanced through the article that said that the uh employee

01:38:13.900 turnover in the trump white house right now is exceeding what mcdonald's rate is so that's that's uh

01:38:20.220 telling if that's true well you know trump has night coke and fried chicken so that's you know

01:38:26.920 so who knows but it is you know i was i was i don't know the first my first reaction is to see

01:38:33.740 that you know james mattis resigns as secretary of defense yesterday and everybody wants to go oh my

01:38:38.960 god you know because everybody loves james mattis but then you look at the you know historically this

01:38:42.820 is the secretary of defense that that position usually lasts 700 days and that's about what we're

01:38:47.540 looking at yeah we're at 700 days yeah so it's so that's not unusual for that to happen and it's

01:38:53.240 amazing you know i i don't know there's not a lot of if people aren't into political punditry and they

01:38:58.800 really don't pay attention to it you know just every now and then catch the headline news historically

01:39:03.040 speaking you can't name all the cabinet members you can't name all the chiefs of staff you can't name

01:39:07.420 all of the the the the reporters and all these people who in the but this presidency you know

01:39:12.880 everybody you know everybody i mean i can't tell you that two years ago i really knew who jake

01:39:17.440 tapper was or don lemon or even cared i knew they were there i you know what when was chris coma

01:39:22.900 really relevant now everybody's looking at what no he's still not still not relevant not in my world

01:39:28.580 that's for sure so i look at these guys and i'm like we have made so many people well known in

01:39:34.120 household names because of this presidency because of the things that have gone on and so what i'm saying

01:39:38.360 is we're looking at it through this scrutinizing microscope that we're analyzing every move every

01:39:44.760 dismissal every firing every leaving every resignation every little flaw come on i mean if

01:39:50.680 they're going to take a christmas picture and vogue is going to say they're too smiley that is crazy at

01:39:56.100 what point are you going to say this is too much the way they have treated melania trump is is shameful

01:40:02.860 it is just shameful she has done nothing wrong she's married to the guy and she's done nothing

01:40:10.280 wrong she's a perfectly normal human being she's an immigrant she's handling this with class and 1.00

01:40:17.600 dignity and for the way they shun her and tear her apart at every every step of the way it is absolutely

01:40:25.060 shameful well i it really came to light with me so when she did the african tour here recently and

01:40:30.720 there's the pictures of her coming back and i mean she looks like she's walking out of a ralph

01:40:35.620 loren commercial it's incredible incredible there's this beautiful classy lady intelligent lady knows 1.00

01:40:41.000 however many languages she is if that were if that were michelle obama we know oh my gosh i mean it

01:40:47.140 would be she is more beautiful and stylish and iconic than than jackie kennedy she really is she is

01:40:56.280 it's not fair competition she's a freaking supermodel i know that it's still the way she 1.00

01:41:00.560 carries herself and it's iconic and i mean there's no question about it it's like saying that everything 0.96

01:41:05.720 at mcdonald's sucks even their fries i don't trust you i don't trust you and that's not even an insult 0.88

01:41:10.840 to jackie kennedy no no it's not even an insult to her it's really not so it's like yeah the guy down 0.97

01:41:16.180 the street is a good basketball player yeah but the other person down the street is lebron james

01:41:19.400 right okay there's not even a fair competition so there's an article i read this morning talking about

01:41:23.820 you know the nfl players really don't have you know kaepernick doesn't have a reason to kneel

01:41:27.440 anymore because yeah you know yeah look at this prison reform thing yeah so they took it away

01:41:34.040 amazing chad thank you so much chad prather you can find him at watch chad.com watch chad.com

01:43:09.820 on the last couple of days you get that show as part of your subscription blaze tv.com slash beck

01:43:14.160 use beck christmas for 20 bucks off

01:43:15.740 we are not gonna get we we are just not gonna get uh to everything we have to do today i was

01:43:28.920 gonna tell another christmas story etc etc uh but then uh sarah walked in uh and uh her husband to

01:43:37.180 be steven uh is uh is with us now and uh welcome sarah how are you uh we're good we are we're really

01:43:44.540 good we're really excited for uh for the holidays okay so now so tell me why you're excited because

01:43:50.220 you and you and steven uh are um hooking up officially we are getting married we're making

01:43:56.000 it official we will no longer be uh living in sin congratulations i didn't need to hear that

01:44:00.660 i don't need to hear that uh yes yeah we will be uh flying out to the dominican and we're gonna go

01:44:08.360 have a ceremony uh on the beach to get married that's great did you reconsider it when you found

01:44:13.860 out he was an alabama fan was that one of the first thing it was i mean did you try to make him

01:44:17.860 stop what was the i did i had some second thoughts there were some red flags when that happened but

01:44:23.240 ultimately i decided that that's just something that i would live with probably a mistake i hope

01:44:27.520 you don't mind me saying uh the whole marriage right because i mean as an alabama fan you should

01:44:31.600 have just run away but okay you know it's good everyone you can try something new everyone needs

01:44:34.860 a partner right right there you go now steven is the director you're the director of of these shows

01:44:40.700 right you have a title above that senior director you're senior director yeah um and so you call all

01:44:46.360 the shots which you now may understand why why sarah looks great in all the shots and i look kind

01:44:51.360 a dumpy yeah well that and fat cells well yes of course that goes without saying but uh

01:44:56.880 uh so so how did this uh how this happened how did you at what point did you do you want to go

01:45:03.820 lock on you want to ask these questions yeah i do well we started out as just we were really good

01:45:08.480 friends um you know we were best friends we talked all the time yeah no guy you had intentions didn't

01:45:13.700 you of course he did he did but i had to make the i had to make the first move yeah he was too he

01:45:18.700 was too nervous he was too nervous right but i just don't want i don't want you to live a lie

01:45:22.980 here that he was trying to be your friend because that's not what was happening that's not what was

01:45:26.500 happening well i mean you qualify that yeah no no i can because we both were coming off of you know

01:45:30.700 previous marriages that didn't work and you know i mean we both were not in a place to be in a

01:45:36.180 relationship at first and we you know we're like that for you know a good bit and then it's well

01:45:42.080 you've got this down it's almost believable yeah we fought it for a while until we couldn't fight it

01:45:46.160 oh my gosh and then we don't need to hear anymore uh so uh you are uh you're going off to the

01:45:53.040 dominican um and which is smart because i married my my first four wives in the dominican because it

01:46:01.260 doesn't hold up legally and it's brilliant you know you get off the plane and she's like oh you

01:46:06.480 know hey honey you're like i don't know you we're married and not here yeah and then you're sending

01:46:10.580 an ice in that's what happens next ice visits is that what you're doing no i don't know what

01:46:16.180 you're talking about oh yeah that's right and you were just friends steven um okay so this seems to

01:46:21.800 be a a risky thing to do as the first thing you do as a as a potentially married couple here

01:46:28.680 as you seem to be having glenn sign some official document related to a reverend i'm a minister you

01:46:36.680 are a minister i am i knew you were a doctor you're a minister too well i'm signing this reverend

01:46:41.500 doctor because that's the way martin luther king signed it does that invalidate it i think i am a

01:46:47.960 doctor i have my doctorate in humanities which means i can do anything i want with humans um and

01:46:54.460 and marry them now and i am well no that's not my dog i don't have my doctorate in that uh no what

01:46:59.700 gives me the authority to do that is i am a minister in the church of universal life modesto california

01:47:05.540 is this something that you bought in a mail order and well that's actually but with a church that's

01:47:12.240 very near and dear to my heart is it really yeah so that works out really well it's uh you know

01:47:17.260 universal life is i mean what else says it more than that universal life modesto california so i can

01:47:23.620 sign her marriage certificate this is real by the way you've actually married people before i have

01:47:27.440 uh and uh and i think we're gonna do that i want to do that remember we had vicky in yesterday and

01:47:32.400 we said uh you know the bowling alley wedding yes i want to marry somebody at the bowling alley

01:47:36.940 uh uh it may be and maybe we do that on valentine's day that would be so romantic i'm actually a little

01:47:42.440 bit upset that we had all of this planned before you thought of that because i would have liked to

01:47:46.860 have instead of going to the dominican i could marry in shaky's we could go to california marry a 1.00

01:47:51.580 shaky's pizza it's never too late to cancel and i i say that sincerely again he's an alabama fan

01:47:57.020 there's never too late to cancel it's true and uh also i haven't signed this yet so um you know

01:48:02.600 you can cancel you can also cancel on you know wanting me to sign this because somebody's gonna

01:48:07.900 have a really good case in divorce court that's not even real okay now i i will tell you that i

01:48:15.620 do have to read i i don't want to ask you these questions now because i know you have a ceremony

01:48:20.600 but when you come back i do because it will bother me for the rest of my life that i signed this and i

01:48:25.360 didn't ask you you know you take blah blah blah so uh so that will happen so yeah you have to

01:48:30.460 absolutely when you come back and i'm serious we could do it you know we do it on the news and why

01:48:34.400 it matters we would actually i would actually love that i think it would be really special you know

01:48:38.160 we met here and uh you know i feel like it would be very full circle for us so you say that in a

01:48:45.200 giant cat santa sweater so i don't know how credible it is i mean i also have these turn on

01:48:51.040 you have light up earrings yes and a cat sweater so you you were asking me wait that's a cat if i

01:48:57.240 should back out yeah you may want to ask him i've changed my opinion yes i mean this is there you go

01:49:01.600 normal house life though this is how she dresses there is the marriage certificate wow signed and

01:49:07.000 everything not valid not valid until i ask you this when you come back perfect so there you go

01:49:12.960 congratulations on that thank you you're welcome and the good thing is glenn has a great record on

01:49:17.780 marriage he's one for two uh which is no steven you need any advice i've been married twice and so

01:49:23.400 i know twice as much that's true you know i like to think of uh the previous one is just it was a

01:49:29.100 practice marriage we got our practice there you go and now we're ready can i tell you something

01:49:34.080 uh in my in my faith um you know outside my ministerial duties at the church of universal life

01:49:39.900 modesto california of course um uh in my faith we believe that uh you can be married in a very sacred

01:49:49.860 ceremony um for time and all eternity and i don't know if you've ever heard the song by ray charles

01:49:57.300 uh i love you in a place uh where there is no space or time have you ever heard that no i haven't

01:50:03.080 look for it um michael buble did it too it is how i feel about my wife and um the line uh the the main

01:50:12.300 line in it is i love you in a place where there is no space or time that's eternity that is heaven

01:50:20.760 and uh in my faith we believe that you can be married civilly um and that is till death do you part

01:50:29.480 but you can also be joined together forever through all eternity tanya and i were married civilly

01:50:37.600 first and then a year later we were married um eternally and i will tell you that we took it

01:50:47.360 very seriously when we got married civilly but when we got married eternally and took it seriously

01:50:56.280 really believe we believe we will be together through all time and it changes everything it

01:51:05.220 deepens everything just like marriage deepens when you go the extra step and say we will never be apart

01:51:13.240 and you bind yourselves together with god i will tell you that you start having conversations it was

01:51:22.100 so strange and it wasn't it wasn't in a bad way or anything else it just happened to both of us

01:51:27.980 we got back and within a week we were both saying okay i gotta talk to you about something because

01:51:34.720 this kind of drives me nuts and it was just because you're starting to think if i'm going to be with you

01:51:43.180 for all time i'm going to lose my mind and it changes and deepens your relationship so much i i urge you to

01:51:55.940 consider just at least thinking about your marriage as eternal yeah that it doesn't it doesn't end when

01:52:03.560 you die i agree yeah already there yeah yeah that's great i don't know if you um uh know the 0.61

01:52:09.620 song cheap ass weave by cardi b uh but it really delves into some important maybe we'll talk about 0.79

01:52:16.740 it off the air yeah okay all right yeah this is an important issue before you leave before you leave 0.93

01:52:20.740 thank you all right you've cheapened it with that and the cat sweater that lights up but uh

01:52:25.900 other than that we're good merry christmas guys thank you god bless yeah congratulations

01:52:30.760 back next time we see you you'll be mr and mrs um all right let me tell you about american financing

01:52:38.240 the home shopping season uh really doesn't you know slow down uh and if you have if you've put some

01:52:46.740 stuff on your credit card um please please please consider a consolidation loan especially if you're

01:52:55.320 kind of maxed out please do that um already credit cards are up at 16 i think it's what 16 2 or 16 6 i

01:53:03.960 think you said the other day yeah uh percent for credit card uh interest then that's going to go

01:53:09.000 higher and you could see it at 20 22 25 percent in the next 12 months uh i think um and it's just going

01:53:17.120 to be unworkable so please don't get yourself behind the eight ball know that the interest rate is going

01:53:22.320 to change dramatically in the next couple of years uh and uh that will mean you know you got food or not

01:53:29.900 quite honestly please if you have any equity in your home consider getting rid of those credit cards

01:53:36.240 before they destroy your credit history um go for a consolidation loan consolidate all of those things

01:53:44.100 get it under a reasonable interest rate and pay those things off take you 10 minutes to get started

01:53:49.420 it's american financing they're really good guys um and you can close in as fast as 10 days so start

01:54:49.820 right on the air hoping they just yeah i'm hoping there i mean i i put some uh mormon mojo on that

01:54:55.540 thing and i'm even though i've signed it as a you know right minister of the church of which you

01:55:01.000 lettered it in the mormon language universal life modesto california right so i uh yeah so well i was

01:58:36.600 um when she says things like i'm fully reloaded full clip i cut to the chase snip snip that we've got to

01:58:47.720 go pink slip looking washed up drip drip wow i mean i if they hadn't written their vows yet i think

01:58:58.320 they may want to consider something like that i don't want to get in the way wow it does put to

01:59:02.960 shame well you taught me precious secrets of truth withholding nothing you came out in front but i was

01:59:09.320 hiding and now i'm so much better and if my words don't come together then listen to the melody for

01:59:14.640 my loves in their hiding you are so right the snip snip drip drip thing is a lot better and more much

01:59:21.380 more much more uh lasting can i close the year with i can't believe it this is insane how can you

01:59:27.840 talk about me when your wave when your weave is inside the grave i can't believe it or is it just 0.99
