00:01:41.960 a letter to the editor from the washington post letter to the editor

00:01:53.160 i grew up inside this restaurant and now my wife's helping out in the dining room 1.00

00:01:59.960 my daughter's working at the hostess stand it's a family place four generations and counting

00:02:06.300 i know every inch of pipe and wire that have is running through this building i've been the plumber

00:02:13.080 the busboy the handyman the butcher the bartender the prep cook the manager i've done every job there

00:02:19.720 is in this restaurant and now i'm the one who has to shut us down it kills me my wife and i were

00:02:28.060 supposed to be getting ready to celebrate our 60th anniversary the 60th anniversary of our restaurant

00:02:33.340 this year but instead we're we're packing up and closing at the end of this month

00:02:38.540 i'll find another job but it's more than that this is my home these walls are like a family photo album

00:02:46.980 i try not to get too sentimental about it because it won't change a damn thing but sometimes the stress

00:02:53.680 hits me and my heart starts going like crazy i get frustrated it makes me angry how does this whole

00:02:59.280 situation make any sense i don't know a single person that has gotten covid and i know that makes

00:03:05.200 me lucky but right now i can tell you about at least a dozen businesses going under and a few hundred

00:03:11.580 people completely going broke i know this virus is real okay it's real and it's awful i'm not disputing

00:03:18.980 any of that but our national hysteria is worse we've allowed this virus to take over our economy

00:03:26.180 our small businesses our school our social lives our whole quality of life we surrendered and now

00:03:32.860 everything is infected i like to believe this restaurant is resilient i tried outlasted my father

00:03:41.260 worked here five days a week until he died at 82 because that's in our dna when the governor first shut

00:03:49.000 us down in march i got together with my brother and my cousin and we agreed to think of this as an

00:03:53.320 opportunity the restaurant was doing pretty good at that point we had a little money to spend we said

00:03:58.540 let's reinvest back into the business like it's supposed to be done we took our time and remodeled

00:04:04.860 the entire bar we put in new bathrooms new draft lines we gave a tour to a few of our loyal customers

00:04:10.980 that said wow when this place opens up you're going to fill it every day you'll be bigger than ever

00:04:15.140 at first the state was only allow us to do carry out okay we have five dining rooms 85 employees

00:04:25.080 and 13 000 square feet of space and now you want us to operate like a burger shack how many people do

00:04:33.060 you know who are willing to spend 40 on a lukewarm steak that's traveled halfway across town that's not

00:04:39.080 our business we're old school we don't have frozen hot wings that we heat up and toss in a cardboard box

00:04:45.720 in five minutes we buy the chicken fresh we cut off the fat ourselves we pound it out we bread it

00:04:53.100 your wings will take 25 minutes while you're enjoying a conversation in a cocktail or two

00:04:58.080 but that's the old world right what choice did we have

00:05:03.260 we redid our carryout menu and cut the prices down and teamed up with doordash and grubhub

00:05:11.260 we created theme menus for mother's day and easter we delivered charity meals out to the hospitals

00:05:17.360 opened up a crab trailer out front so we could sell by the bushel we're spending 800 a week on

00:05:23.980 carryout containers and there is no profit in it you lose out on booze you don't get the same tips

00:05:31.980 we kept kept hanging on through march then april then may but our revenue is down more than 80 percent

00:05:39.900 we had to lay off 75 people that's 75 people dealing with unemployment and financial hardships

00:05:46.000 and not because a virus made any of them sick when the state opened up for outdoor dining i ran out to

00:05:53.420 every costco in the area bought any picnic table i could find we got 20 for 150 a piece

00:06:00.900 we roped off the parking lot and put up buckets of cold beer we tried to make it look nice but it's

00:06:07.500 summer in baltimore it's 90 some degrees outside and you're selling cream of crab soup to people who

00:06:13.760 are sweating on the asphalt why would they come we stood out there for nine hours each and every day

00:06:20.920 and we waited we got more creative we kept on trying we opened up at a 50 capacity had live music

00:06:28.300 themed dinners mystery nights a meal with a psychic we reinvented this restaurant a dozen times and none

00:06:34.940 of it worked and what support did we get more rules more restrictions more regulations more mandates

00:06:44.700 and curfews we had to close at 10 p.m because i guess maybe covid comes out at 10 oh one except

00:06:51.900 apparently they didn't have to do that at the casino down the road because they have political

00:06:56.660 leverage they get to stay open as long as they want you can sit at our bar and have a drink but

00:07:02.280 you can't get up and mingle because that's considered a health violation so now i'm trying

00:07:08.060 to serve you and police you at the same time hey thanks for coming we really need your business now put

00:07:14.060 on your mask or sit the hell back down i have to buy disinfectants individual ketchup paper menus

00:07:23.760 personal salt and pepper shakers or anything else that i might get fined if i don't have

00:07:28.480 my employees have to wear their masks all the time even when they're alone in an office but meanwhile

00:07:34.800 we have a group of 40 people in the dining room with no masks on and that's deemed safe because they're

00:07:40.260 drinking water none of this makes sense we had a customer come in the other day she said she couldn't

00:07:50.180 get seated she couldn't get seated because we had a few other tables and we'd hit our 50 percent 1.00

00:07:57.980 capacity in the one dining room she likes i had to ask her to wait i'd rather sit her down and take her 0.99

00:08:04.880 money i hate this rule but i now have to enforce it but she could see all the empty tables she didn't

00:08:13.020 understand she got mad and decided to call 9-1-1 and tell them what we were over capacity two armed police

00:08:20.080 officers came through here the whole foyer was empty nobody was at the bar i have a max fire rating

00:08:29.620 on the wall for 323 people and they couldn't count up to 100 i told them i dream about being over

00:08:38.020 capacity but i doubt that will ever happen again

00:08:40.720 it's like trump said the cure is worse than the disease

00:08:49.440 people spend too much time at home watching all the news all day long drinking in this hysteria

00:08:57.100 until they were spraying down their groceries and afraid to leave home

00:09:01.040 it became another anti-trump thing in the press the impeachment didn't work the killer bees didn't work

00:09:08.940 so let's blow covid out of proportion and see if it hurts him but it's the rest of us that got hurt

00:09:16.320 it was the day after day of failure it's a slow and painful death

00:09:23.580 we went to see our accountant at the end of summer

00:09:28.060 he looked over at the numbers he didn't say much that's not like him

00:09:32.800 i said to him what would you do

00:09:37.940 he said the way things are going you'll have nothing left to lose in just a couple of months

00:09:45.980 we made our decision right then and there it wasn't really much to discuss

00:09:52.920 our last day is september 30th and then we're done

00:09:58.360 this is happening all over america

00:10:09.100 people had good jobs they had businesses they built them

00:10:16.480 and the reason why the left insisted that donald trump do what he didn't do thank god

00:10:25.920 and have a national mandate is because they would have blamed all of this on him

00:10:31.180 they would have said it was the president's national mandate

00:10:35.000 instead he said i'm going to leave it up to the locals the states

00:10:41.900 the cities and how many cities are going through this

00:10:48.260 and how many citizens in those cities both independent democrat even republican

00:10:54.920 are looking at it now going what the hell is going on

00:10:58.420 why are we doing this

00:11:01.920 my kids are going to a school right now supposed to be one of the best schools around

00:11:07.940 really because it doesn't seem like they are smart enough

00:11:12.060 to figure this one out

00:11:13.840 the teachers are wearing masks

00:11:16.740 the children are wearing masks

00:11:18.720 the entire school day

00:11:20.780 they're also sitting behind

00:11:22.960 little glass partitions

00:11:25.300 each of them have a glass partition

00:11:28.160 the teacher is standing behind

00:11:30.840 a glass partition

00:11:32.160 so you've got a mask

00:11:34.340 a glass partition

00:11:35.480 a glass partition

00:11:36.640 and another mask

00:11:38.000 my son sits in the back says

00:11:39.400 i don't understand a thing that's going on

00:11:41.180 i can't hear anybody

00:11:42.920 they have to wear their masks outside

00:11:49.340 this this is insanity

00:11:54.620 truly insanity

00:11:57.440 and i i hope the american people see it as such

00:12:03.340 i hope the american people are figuring this out

00:12:07.080 i think they are

00:12:08.360 this nomination

00:12:13.240 of amy coney barrett

00:12:17.200 if this

00:12:20.460 is a trial

00:12:22.400 and an impeachment of her character

00:12:24.640 and an impeachment of her religion

00:12:27.640 the democrats are going to pay

00:12:31.040 a very big price for it

00:12:32.960 i don't think there's anyone

00:12:36.540 in america

00:12:37.520 that is

00:12:40.000 still a decent american

00:12:42.060 remember i

00:12:42.740 don't think so highly of americans

00:12:46.320 americans are really good

00:12:50.380 they want to be good

00:12:51.260 but when they have people

00:12:53.100 leading them into madness

00:12:54.580 they will follow

00:12:55.440 i know it firsthand

00:12:58.820 i've seen it firsthand

00:13:00.140 my family has been attacked

00:13:04.340 publicly

00:13:05.260 in crowds

00:13:06.560 spat upon

00:13:07.960 people chanted

00:13:10.820 get out

00:13:12.560 we don't want you here

00:13:13.840 my family and i

00:13:16.200 we

00:13:16.860 we saw this behavior

00:13:19.460 and we thought

00:13:22.040 there's no one

00:13:23.140 that we know of

00:13:24.020 no public figure

00:13:25.100 no personal figure

00:13:26.040 that we would ever

00:13:27.380 treat like that

00:13:28.300 no one

00:13:29.060 because it violates

00:13:30.540 every bit of

00:13:31.560 common decency

00:13:32.800 it's one thing

00:13:34.540 to say

00:13:35.440 well i've said that on twitter

00:13:37.080 because twitter

00:13:38.480 twitter goes to the worst parts of us

00:13:41.360 we suddenly become brave

00:13:43.380 because we're on twitter

00:13:44.500 we can join a mob on twitter

00:13:49.440 but most people

00:13:50.680 i don't think

00:13:51.960 want to join a mob

00:13:53.120 but that's what's happening

00:13:55.520 there's a mob

00:13:57.240 and there's a mob

00:13:58.780 that has been organized

00:14:00.120 in washington dc

00:14:01.540 it has been organized

00:14:03.600 by

00:14:05.360 groups in secret

00:14:08.840 secret combinations

00:14:10.500 political groups

00:14:14.540 people that are just

00:14:16.520 after power

00:14:17.340 and money

00:14:18.040 and they don't care

00:14:19.440 how they get it

00:14:20.500 and they have flushed

00:14:23.100 our way of life

00:14:24.180 down the toilet

00:14:25.080 for what

00:14:27.140 a presidential campaign

00:14:29.360 partly

00:14:31.080 but for a whole new system 0.99

00:14:35.340 see if you kill 0.99

00:14:36.940 the entrepreneur in america 1.00

00:14:38.280 you kill america 0.99

00:14:39.280 because you're killing 0.99

00:14:41.680 the individual

00:14:42.380 the individual just has to go to work

00:14:44.900 at some chain restaurant

00:14:46.600 they can no longer express themselves

00:14:48.740 in their own restaurant

00:14:50.500 they lose the desire to say

00:14:54.180 i'll take that risk

00:14:55.640 because

00:14:56.420 anything can cut that risk

00:14:58.460 destroy that

00:15:00.320 anything can change the variables

00:15:02.640 and they have no recourse

00:15:04.840 this is the biggest theft

00:15:09.500 of not only money

00:15:11.380 but of heritage

00:15:13.480 and of hope

00:15:16.340 where's your hope

00:15:19.680 when the government can come in

00:15:22.280 and you have a successful business

00:15:23.920 and tell you what to do

00:15:25.900 when the numbers don't bear it out

00:15:28.520 when they came in on a false premise

00:15:30.820 15 days to flatten the curve

00:15:33.060 and you're still doing it

00:15:35.020 where do you go

00:15:36.820 see this is the conservative argument

00:15:39.260 against big government

00:15:40.860 because

00:15:42.680 there's no place to go

00:15:44.880 when the government makes the decision

00:15:47.540 they're the police

00:15:49.420 and the criminal

00:15:51.140 the united states government

00:15:56.600 and many of our states

00:15:59.300 are responsible

00:16:03.420 for this

00:16:04.400 not you

00:16:06.600 and hopefully

00:16:09.240 someday

00:16:09.800 soon

00:16:10.440 we'll return

00:16:11.280 to some

00:16:12.660 semblance

00:16:14.140 of sanity

00:16:15.100 and those

00:16:17.260 responsible

00:16:17.980 for this

00:16:18.740 theft

00:16:20.420 this 0.60

00:16:22.040 rape 0.93

00:16:22.580 of the western world

00:16:23.940 will be held responsible

00:16:26.580 all right

00:16:30.700 you know

00:16:31.920 I

00:16:32.140 I'm not listening to

00:16:33.720 Cardi B's

00:16:34.460 you know

00:16:35.380 WAP

00:16:35.900 at least on

00:16:37.400 endless repeat

00:16:38.600 but I could

00:16:40.720 and I could

00:16:41.380 listen to all of the

00:16:42.400 beautiful lyrics

00:16:43.140 and hear them

00:16:43.820 just perfectly

00:16:44.580 with my

00:16:45.620 Raycon wireless earbuds

00:16:46.960 now

00:16:47.420 I was on a plane

00:16:48.400 this weekend

00:16:48.980 and didn't have

00:16:50.420 my wireless earbuds

00:16:51.380 why

00:16:51.840 because my daughter

00:16:53.000 had taken them

00:16:54.080 and when I got home

00:16:55.240 I said

00:16:55.580 oh there's where

00:16:56.880 my earbuds are

00:16:57.800 she's like

00:16:58.220 yeah

00:16:58.460 I lost mine

00:16:59.920 well then

00:17:00.620 don't lose mine

00:17:01.700 Raycon

00:17:03.740 Raycon

00:17:05.660 they are great

00:17:07.020 they fit perfectly

00:17:08.080 unlike some earbuds

00:17:09.560 which will remain

00:17:10.900 nameless

00:17:11.320 but they're white

00:17:12.040 and they're named

00:17:13.120 after a fruit

00:17:13.820 like an apple

00:17:14.580 anyway

00:17:16.200 you're one step

00:17:17.660 closer to

00:17:19.160 just the perfect

00:17:20.340 experience with

00:17:21.140 wireless headphones

00:17:22.000 because the

00:17:23.080 the wireless ear pods

00:17:24.280 that apple makes

00:17:26.220 are twice as expensive

00:17:28.000 as these

00:17:29.020 as Raycon's

00:17:30.380 newest model

00:17:31.120 everyday

00:17:31.560 E25 earbuds

00:17:33.060 the best ones

00:17:46.720 you're going to find

00:18:11.080 welcome to the

00:18:25.140 program

00:18:26.280 tomorrow is

00:18:28.080 the first debate

00:18:29.220 and I have

00:18:31.340 no idea

00:18:32.580 what to expect

00:18:33.340 you have any

00:18:34.760 your wildest guess

00:18:36.660 I mean

00:18:37.340 literally

00:18:38.600 literally

00:18:39.960 midgets could come 1.00

00:18:41.560 crawling out of

00:18:42.700 Donald Trump's 0.95

00:18:43.600 pants

00:18:44.120 and on

00:18:45.740 unicycles

00:18:46.540 and could ride

00:18:47.580 around the stage

00:18:48.340 and I'd be like

00:18:48.900 hmm

00:18:49.260 I didn't see that one

00:18:50.580 coming but it makes

00:18:51.160 sense

00:18:51.480 you know what I mean

00:18:53.480 it really is

00:18:54.640 anything can happen

00:18:55.600 anything could happen

00:18:57.080 I'm interested to see

00:18:57.980 because I think the

00:18:58.840 audience expectation

00:19:00.160 from the conservative

00:19:01.040 side is that

00:19:01.820 Trump's going to wipe

00:19:02.480 the floor with Biden

00:19:03.200 and so the bar

00:19:05.620 set very high

00:19:06.780 it really is

00:19:08.060 I mean I feel like

00:19:08.880 Biden could come out

00:19:09.760 and like mumble

00:19:12.100 a bunch of syllables

00:19:13.720 that don't connect

00:19:14.720 into words

00:19:15.360 and we'd be like

00:19:15.800 pretty impressive

00:19:16.560 performance by Biden

00:19:17.760 there I mean he got

00:19:18.420 through it

00:19:18.820 he didn't make sense

00:19:20.840 all the time

00:19:21.340 but he said words

00:19:22.360 the entire time

00:19:23.460 I think Donald Trump

00:19:25.660 keeps asking for a

00:19:26.720 drug test which I

00:19:27.440 think is really weird

00:19:28.240 but he keeps asking

00:19:30.980 for a drug test

00:19:31.580 maybe because

00:19:32.640 you know that thing

00:19:34.380 that they you know

00:19:35.280 like did you see

00:19:36.380 the movie The Rock

00:19:37.160 yes

00:19:38.460 a VX gas

00:19:40.000 that that thing

00:19:41.200 that they stab

00:19:42.100 into your heart 1.00

00:19:42.980 and they inject you 0.54

00:19:44.440 and so like when 0.99

00:19:45.320 you're dead you go 0.75

00:19:46.220 and you come alive

00:19:47.860 and you have all that

00:19:48.580 I think that's what

00:19:49.980 maybe Trump wants

00:19:52.000 to see if they've

00:19:53.220 done that to Biden

00:19:54.200 if right before he

00:19:55.060 goes on they just

00:19:55.780 jam that into his 0.97

00:19:57.040 chest and inject 0.99

00:19:58.400 it right into his

00:19:59.120 heart he does seem

00:19:59.840 to have his good

00:20:00.500 days and bad days

00:20:01.440 Biden I'm hoping

00:20:02.560 for a bad day

00:20:03.240 and it just seems

00:20:04.060 odd right like

00:20:05.060 why is this person

00:20:06.180 so up and down

00:20:07.460 some days he seems

00:20:08.460 to have energy

00:20:09.100 and be moderately

00:20:10.040 coherent and other

00:20:10.840 days he's almost

00:20:11.520 asleep on stage

00:20:12.620 and can't get

00:20:13.420 through the most

00:20:13.760 basic intellectual

00:20:15.180 exercise

00:20:15.500 I mean do you think

00:20:17.720 there's a chance

00:20:18.380 that he's I don't

00:20:20.040 know I'm not

00:20:20.600 snorting cocaine but

00:20:21.640 they're giving him

00:20:22.320 something to well

00:20:23.620 Biden's had this

00:20:24.260 weird like super

00:20:25.540 soft-spoken thing

00:20:26.780 he's been doing for

00:20:27.460 10 years yeah and I

00:20:29.180 don't know if it's

00:20:29.820 that you know like

00:20:31.760 there's all sorts of

00:20:32.640 rumors on the internet

00:20:33.380 from suppose you know

00:20:34.640 all sorts of it's all

00:20:36.200 rumor right there's

00:20:37.020 nothing there's nothing

00:20:37.740 except for the jamming

00:20:38.820 that syringe into your

00:20:40.660 heart that's clearly

00:20:41.400 clearly true I think I

00:20:42.880 think you know what

00:20:43.740 Trump does is get under

00:20:45.220 his opponent's skin and

00:20:47.700 I think Biden is at

00:20:49.300 that point in his life

00:20:50.180 where he feels like I

00:20:50.800 can do it everyone

00:20:51.320 say I can't do it I

00:20:52.240 can do it just put me 0.99

00:20:53.280 out there I'll slaughter 1.00

00:20:55.100 this guy on stage and I 1.00

00:20:57.360 think Trump wants to

00:20:58.400 draw that I'm going to

00:20:59.900 get under his skin

00:21:00.580 mention his son the

00:21:02.380 first two minutes

00:21:03.100 all right so in a

00:21:08.400 world where who we are

00:21:10.220 individually is being

00:21:11.540 raped and taken from 0.98

00:21:13.580 us you might want to 0.98

00:21:14.760 hold on to your

00:21:15.320 identity and everything

00:21:16.440 that that means boy I

00:21:17.680 was so we we watched

00:21:18.820 uh uh what was it uh

00:21:20.900 the social dilemma on

00:21:22.380 Netflix with my kids

00:21:23.880 oh yeah they're totally

00:21:24.980 fine with absolutely

00:21:26.180 everything about them

00:21:27.180 being out and I'm like

00:21:28.280 okay that doesn't make

00:21:30.380 your kids are yeah it

00:21:31.620 doesn't make me like an

00:21:33.160 old-fashioned fuddy

00:21:34.340 duddy that makes you

00:21:35.560 completely unaware of

00:21:37.500 what that means yeah

00:21:39.160 but that you're a kid

00:21:39.860 you're I know I know

00:21:41.020 everyone makes jokes

00:21:41.880 when they're kids and

00:21:42.780 says things so

00:21:43.740 everything is at risk

00:21:44.720 every time you get

00:22:20.220 slash Glenn we have all

00:22:22.380 sorts of special coverage

00:22:23.740 on the debate starting

00:22:25.080 tomorrow night

00:22:25.860 I have to tell you I've got

00:22:36.960 an announcement to make I

00:22:37.900 was all for voting for

00:22:40.760 Donald Trump I was on the

00:22:41.740 bandwagon it's on the

00:22:42.680 bandwagon then the New York

00:22:44.360 Times came out with this

00:22:46.800 just absolutely can't believe

00:22:50.760 it is true story about his

00:22:53.400 taxes my God he took

00:22:54.880 advantage of of tax code

00:22:57.580 loopholes not only that but

00:22:58.940 he hit it while he was

00:23:00.040 admitting that and during

00:23:01.740 the last debate well no he

00:23:03.660 didn't he actually admitted

00:23:05.200 that he took advantage of

00:23:06.400 the tax yeah no but not he

00:23:08.140 didn't he didn't go that

00:23:09.300 far he just said I'd be 0.83

00:23:10.920 stupid if I didn't but

00:23:12.760 when in 2016 when he said 1.00

00:23:14.600 he paid almost no taxes

00:23:16.260 this confirms that right

00:23:18.800 it does it does this is not

00:23:20.840 going to change anybody's

00:23:22.420 mind there's you notice

00:23:23.700 there's nothing illegal

00:23:25.000 there's nothing illegal

00:23:26.620 they're not charging him

00:23:27.440 with anything illegal no

00:23:30.200 but he actually took

00:23:30.940 advantage of tax loopholes 0.99

00:23:32.320 the bastard I mean is 0.99

00:23:36.120 there anybody within the 1.00

00:23:36.940 sound of my voice that if

00:23:38.180 it was legal you're not

00:23:39.440 going to jail yeah you had

00:23:41.060 the attorney to do it and

00:23:42.160 you were paying zero or

00:23:44.620 seven hundred and forty

00:23:45.620 dollars a year in taxes

00:23:47.440 anyone within the sound of

00:23:49.100 my voice brave it a big

00:23:51.560 enough liar to call me and

00:23:53.060 go I wouldn't do that I

00:23:54.580 would I would send a check

00:23:56.020 to the government just to

00:23:57.380 help and a little bit

00:23:58.640 extra and a little extra

00:24:00.440 yeah it would be your

00:24:03.860 patriotic duty honestly it's

00:24:05.300 your patriotic duty to pay

00:24:06.540 taxes when they're not

00:24:07.820 pissing all of your tax

00:24:08.840 money away but when

00:24:10.240 they're pissing your money

00:24:11.060 away when they're they're 0.98

00:24:12.620 they're a horrible bad

00:24:14.820 steward to your money I

00:24:18.100 can guarantee you that the

00:24:19.440 money I give in tithing and

00:24:21.740 charity that money goes

00:24:24.200 further than the what 50

00:24:25.940 percent that they take from

00:24:27.580 me right you know what I

00:24:28.840 mean yeah by far by far and

00:24:30.900 there's stuff in there that

00:24:31.720 like he might have to pay

00:24:32.800 fines for in theory or that

00:24:34.740 he could get in that's

00:24:35.980 quote-unquote trouble for but

00:24:37.280 this is all there's not as

00:24:38.800 in fines yeah fines right

00:24:40.720 he's been in a long-term

00:24:42.500 battle over about 70 million

00:24:44.200 dollars that he got in a

00:24:45.440 return which doesn't seem

00:24:47.480 exactly like he followed the

00:24:48.680 rules on it but the bottom

00:24:50.220 line is exactly exactly zero

00:24:53.920 minds are changed by it

00:24:55.120 exactly but can you count all

00:24:56.920 of those miles yes zero no not

00:25:00.840 one person would change it in

00:25:03.160 fact I found myself and I've

00:25:04.880 never found myself in this

00:25:06.100 position I found myself this

00:25:07.980 morning listening to the news

00:25:09.300 again the way it was reported

00:25:10.400 by the New York Times and I was

00:25:12.240 cheering I was cheering good 0.98

00:25:15.060 for him damn right zero how 0.97

00:25:18.300 do I get those attorneys I 0.98

00:25:19.860 know geez and I don't know

00:25:22.360 what their what the point of

00:25:24.660 this is I mean the only of the

00:25:25.980 only thing about it is of

00:25:26.980 course how did they get this

00:25:28.300 how did they get 20 years of

00:25:29.920 his tax returns well they

00:25:31.040 don't want to say that they

00:25:32.260 can't they have to show us the

00:25:33.620 documents they can they have

00:25:35.240 to they have to preserve their

00:25:38.040 one they're one in anonymous

00:25:41.440 source and I'd like to show

00:25:43.800 you the paperwork but I can't

00:25:45.960 you know what else is great not

00:25:47.180 a word about the fact that he

00:25:49.000 accepts no income as president

00:25:51.440 that he doesn't take a dime from

00:25:53.740 the government he doesn't get

00:25:54.780 any of the four hundred

00:25:55.760 thousand dollars in salary they I

00:25:57.980 mean wouldn't that be a good

00:25:58.880 place to mention oh and by the

00:26:00.040 way he doesn't take a salary by

00:26:03.580 the you know president of the

00:26:05.060 United States here's the thing

00:26:06.620 that everybody should be

00:26:08.220 talking about here's a guy who

00:26:10.540 has a global ho chain a hotel 0.99

00:26:13.020 chain okay and it pretty much

00:26:15.920 verifies what we all know it's

00:26:18.920 successful at times and really not

00:26:20.880 successful in times you know what

00:26:22.560 I mean so we all know that so

00:26:24.700 there's no surprise there here's

00:26:26.640 the thing that everybody should be

00:26:27.920 asking about Joe Biden's three

00:26:30.840 million dollar tax returns yeah

00:26:35.800 where's that money coming from

00:26:37.340 coming from he's a he's a guy who

00:26:38.680 is is you know living on a

00:26:42.320 government salary now I know when

00:26:44.600 you were vice president you wrote a

00:26:46.120 book etc etc but how is everybody in

00:26:48.960 his family so sell so rich I mean

00:26:52.520 that's one middle-class Joe three

00:26:54.920 million dollars lunch bucket wow

00:26:57.240 that's a lunch bucket salary yeah yeah

00:27:00.200 it is laughable and it's funny too to

00:27:02.480 think back at all the things that we

00:27:04.600 begged the media to dig into during

00:27:07.040 the Obama era that they never did we

00:27:08.800 never even like his college 0.98

00:27:10.320 transcripts like basic crap that 0.97

00:27:12.540 wouldn't have made a big difference 0.98

00:27:13.540 at all we never got there were all

00:27:15.600 those years they were able to get 20

00:27:17.440 years of Donald Trump's tax returns in

00:27:20.160 in something that is not illegal for

00:27:22.260 the New York Times to do but whoever

00:27:24.100 gave it to them certainly committed a

00:27:26.080 crime right that's why that's why

00:27:28.020 well we can't reveal our source right

00:27:29.940 because it's a criminal right because

00:27:32.160 the person who gave it to you just

00:27:33.360 committed a crime don't they think it

00:27:34.620 was Mary Trump isn't that is that

00:27:36.940 what they suspect is that what they

00:27:38.200 think really I think so yeah I think

00:27:40.180 no seriously seriously I think

00:27:41.740 seriously I don't know I know I can't

00:27:44.240 remember I read an article though that

00:27:45.660 they they suspected strongly that it

00:27:48.560 might have been Mary well I have news

00:27:49.860 for you I wouldn't I mean you say how

00:27:51.680 would she do that she's she's a judge 1.00

00:27:54.960 you don't think that there's people

00:27:56.240 that she could call because it came

00:27:57.720 from not the sister the the the niece

00:28:00.680 yeah oh yeah yeah I mean unless they

00:28:05.020 might share the same accountant to me

00:28:07.100 right still there there'd have to be

00:28:08.880 somebody who did something very wrong

00:28:11.340 here again just because he's president

00:28:13.420 United States does not mean he does

00:28:14.520 not have the right to privacy so let me

00:28:16.160 ask you Amy Coney Barrett you know

00:28:18.760 who's going to be responsible for her

00:28:21.000 becoming Supreme Court I really think in

00:28:23.160 the end I've got a couple names yeah

00:28:26.020 one would be Harry Reid I was gonna

00:28:28.380 say Chuck Chuck Schumer Chuck Schumer

00:28:30.480 Chuck Schumer Nancy Pelosi Diane

00:28:32.560 Feinstein I would say the number one

00:28:34.180 Diane Feinstein these they did everything

00:28:38.100 they're there are the reason why you

00:28:39.920 don't have a 60 person vote there's no

00:28:42.640 Harry Reid that's brought that in yeah

00:28:44.800 right started that ball right I mean

00:28:46.760 they did everything that just the

00:28:49.400 Kavanaugh turned enough people that

00:28:52.200 they said this is not right Kamala Harris

00:28:55.060 was big on that one big big and and and

00:28:58.660 the the one specific question about the

00:29:01.280 dogma lives loudly within you came from

00:29:03.860 Diane Feinstein which is like the kind of

00:29:06.760 the big slogan of the of the Amy Coney

00:29:10.800 Barrett nomination and I and I love this

00:29:12.900 the dogma lives loudly so in other words

00:29:15.800 you have a problem that I believe in the 1.00

00:29:19.540 things I profess to believe that's that's

00:29:23.000 the dogma so so Nancy is fine because 0.99

00:29:25.640 she's not Catholic the Pope is coming 0.99

00:29:28.600 out and like every 10 minutes going hey

00:29:30.400 stop with abortion you know but the dogma 0.98

00:29:33.440 doesn't live loudly doesn't even live in

00:29:35.340 her neighborhood the dog catcher caught

00:29:39.140 what's this about dogs but I should point

00:29:44.620 out we have the notorious ACB shirt up

00:29:47.320 now and Stu does merch.com or really

00:29:49.700 shop.blazemedia.com Stu does merch.com

00:29:52.580 will get you to the whole show store but

00:29:54.160 the notorious ACB I feel like I gotta have

00:29:57.080 that I love that's a that's that's what

00:29:58.780 you need yeah that's one you get those

00:30:00.220 overnighted for all of us probably I can

00:30:02.680 at least we have the because we have the

00:30:04.840 we have the debate tomorrow we're gonna

00:30:08.060 do what is the promo code Glenn's debate

00:30:12.640 hold on let me just don't guess that

00:30:14.480 anyway yeah so so sign up for the blaze

00:30:17.100 because tomorrow we're doing our our it's

00:30:19.940 like a mystery theater 3000 thing right

00:30:21.740 yeah well Stu's starting his show at like

00:30:24.400 eight o'clock so he'll do his show then

00:30:26.460 we go in at nine o'clock into just it we're

00:30:29.860 really second screen we're going to be

00:30:31.660 saying all the things that you want to

00:30:33.460 say we're also going to be doing some

00:30:35.400 live fact-checking but we're not going

00:30:38.280 to we're going to try not to interrupt

00:30:39.860 except when we cheer or have really

00:30:43.000 something very sarcastic to say that's

00:30:46.520 happening tomorrow and then at 10 o'clock

00:30:48.220 and this will be on YouTube in the blaze

00:30:50.480 and everything else we're going to give

00:30:52.520 you our rundown and our analysis of the

00:30:55.260 debate because quite honestly I don't

00:30:57.100 care what anybody says anymore do you

00:30:59.060 know I don't care what any of these

00:31:00.920 people on TV say anymore oh in fact I

00:31:04.140 can't listen to it I can't either that's

00:31:05.740 the fact yeah I just can't listen to it

00:31:07.740 so we're going to be the group that you

00:31:10.120 can listen to so tomorrow after the

00:31:11.840 debate make sure you go at blaze TV or

00:31:14.520 the blaze TV YouTube channel and and

00:31:16.660 listen to our our recap of the debate

00:31:19.260 and it's blaze tv.com slash Glenn the

00:31:22.640 code is Glenn debates did you actually see

00:31:24.980 the wolf blitzer 20% by the way

00:31:26.660 interview Richard Blumenthal over the

00:31:29.620 weekend gosh no I every once in a while

00:31:32.360 every once in a while wolf will do

00:31:34.400 something I don't know journalistic and

00:31:37.080 it blew me away I don't believe that

00:31:38.880 that's that's a pretty strong word in

00:31:40.840 today it is yeah it is but he called him

00:31:43.400 out because here it is real quick what are

00:31:47.220 the Republicans doing that is illegal or

00:31:50.440 illegitimate because the Constitution says

00:31:53.160 the president has to nominate Supreme Court

00:31:55.580 justices the Senate has to advise and

00:31:58.100 consent and confirm so what is illegal

00:32:00.880 about what the president and the

00:32:02.900 Republicans are doing you say it's

00:32:04.860 illegitimate it is illegitimate

00:32:08.180 where does it say Senator where does it

00:32:12.000 say that's illegitimate in the US

00:32:14.020 Constitution or in the law where does it

00:32:16.240 say that what they're doing the

00:32:17.760 Republicans is illegal

00:32:19.160 illegal it may be not under the

00:32:24.660 Constitution illegal it may be not

00:32:27.840 and unwritten rules of the Senate it is

00:32:32.000 illegitimate unwritten you agree that

00:32:34.740 there's nothing illegal or totally

00:32:36.820 illegitimate as to what they're doing

00:32:39.100 third time it may not violate the letter

00:32:42.960 of the Constitution all right the letter

00:32:45.240 the letter or even the whole words or the

00:32:47.420 spirit of the entire document you get you

00:32:50.500 could take one of those needles that

00:32:52.280 they're jamming into Joe Biden's chest

00:32:54.240 tomorrow right before he goes on stage

00:32:56.100 do that to all the founders and they

00:32:57.980 would also say no not has nothing to do

00:33:00.580 with the Constitution do you remember

00:33:02.000 doing an interview with him yes a long

00:33:04.600 time really early Fox or was it CNN I

00:33:06.660 don't even remember someone said it to

00:33:08.400 me this this weekend because they were

00:33:10.460 like he's doing the same thing because

00:33:12.120 you had him on about AIG bonuses or

00:33:14.440 something it was some story yeah yeah and

00:33:16.000 you were holding his feet to the card

00:33:17.000 because he was trying to make this big

00:33:17.920 deal about it you're like what is

00:33:19.060 illegal about this and he did the same

00:33:20.960 thing the same well it's not it's not

00:33:23.440 illegal per se it's ill-tempered yeah

00:33:27.160 ill-tempered at the time you're the

00:33:31.740 attorney general you should really be only

00:33:34.400 concerned with what's illegal right you

00:33:37.080 made that point pretty clearly to him

00:33:38.900 that interview was not happy you did not

00:33:41.540 by the way so you know all the social

00:33:43.920 justice warriors relax wolf blitzer had

00:33:47.880 his beard removed with duct tape right

00:33:51.260 after that interview so he's learned his

00:33:53.480 lesson he's learned his lesson really

00:33:55.700 oh yeah wow that's terrible see him

00:33:58.340 today well nobody will see him he might

00:34:00.100 even by the time you see me probably

00:34:01.620 have his beard grown back my guess is

00:34:03.160 wolf's beard would grow in every day if

00:34:05.420 you removed it every day it would grow

00:34:06.840 right back his name is wolf that's what

00:34:09.200 I mean it's just there all right here's a

00:34:11.540 fun fact getting older every day yay and

00:34:14.440 the things that come with getting older

00:34:16.020 aches and pains your joints start to wear

00:34:18.580 down the normal exercise of everyday life

00:34:20.820 begins to catch up with you yeah see I

00:34:23.340 told you exercise bad for you most of

00:34:25.580 what causes this pain and a lot of other

00:34:27.460 forms of pain is inflammation especially

00:34:29.760 in the joints and if you're gonna go

00:34:31.580 through it it can take I mean your whole

00:34:34.240 life will change if you don't do anything

00:34:37.060 every day a little less brighter you know

00:34:40.320 what I mean and you're like okay the

00:34:41.880 walls are closing in on me help we can

00:34:44.780 help you have you tried relief factor

00:35:11.880 you're listening to Glenn Beck

00:35:16.580 welcome to the Glenn Beck program I want

00:35:23.680 to go to Linda in Pennsylvania hi Linda

00:35:25.880 how are you I'm good I'm I'm just I have

00:35:30.340 to call in because I'm constantly

00:35:33.700 watching the news I'm constantly watching

00:35:36.700 Fox news yeah that's where I get the

00:35:40.520 got it got it yep good for you I'm a

00:35:42.520 senior and uh I I was went to the store a

00:35:47.920 few weeks back and I saw this bunker

00:35:50.660 bumper sticker and it said did you

00:35:53.680 realize that those people that support

00:35:57.520 abortion were born that's a big car to 1.00

00:36:01.260 have a yeah yeah yeah okay it just hit

00:36:05.860 home to me yeah it just I was born and

00:36:08.520 raised Catholic and none of the people 1.00

00:36:11.760 that are out there that are proclaimed

00:36:13.320 to be Catholic are the way I was brought

00:36:16.160 up did you call about the Amish because

00:36:18.100 that's what my note says that you had

00:36:19.680 something in common on the Amish yeah and

00:36:22.560 also uh in 2016 I was up in Lancaster

00:36:28.800 County uh-huh and uh I had to have some

00:36:32.120 work done on uh uh doesn't matter okay okay

00:36:36.480 well and when I went in when I went into

00:36:38.640 in the Amish man said to me uh who are you

00:36:43.520 voting for and I said I'm going to vote for

00:36:47.080 Trump and he said I'm glad to hear that and

00:36:51.620 he came out my cousin was in the car he

00:36:54.340 came out and he asked her who's she gonna

00:36:56.320 vote for so there are a lot of probably

00:36:59.320 Mennonites or Amish who are out there and 0.98

00:37:02.420 they are going to do the voting and so I

00:37:05.360 cannot um rely on all these polls okay I

00:37:10.540 myself am not well I don't okay Linda

00:37:13.460 thank you very much for your phone call it

00:37:15.980 was a long journey um but uh the the uh I

00:37:20.160 don't know how many I mean I mean I don't

00:37:22.740 know that the Amish are really going to 1.00

00:37:24.620 affect the vote uh oh I think so that's the

00:37:27.140 only it's to me the only demographic that

00:37:28.760 matters did they if Trump doesn't come out

00:37:30.620 anti-electricity tomorrow he's dead I mean

00:37:33.640 this election's over right right I mean

00:37:35.560 what would change their mind have the

00:37:37.320 Amish really been affected by you know

00:37:40.000 they don't they're not watching the news

00:37:41.840 they're not like oh man CNN has really

00:37:43.980 pulled the wool over our eyes literally the

00:37:46.700 wool too because we haven't even made it

00:37:48.640 into anything we're just sitting here

00:37:50.460 with wool close to our faces piles of wool

00:37:53.480 who wins the piles of wool vote who does

00:37:55.520 no one's even talking about who does let

00:37:57.060 me go to uh uh Felipe or Philippi as they

00:38:00.380 would say in Houston Felipe yes yes go

00:38:07.000 ahead you're on hello Ben um I'm so happy

00:38:11.720 to be able to come through thank you okay

00:38:13.960 so I'm calling the reason I'm calling and

00:38:16.780 you're doing good work very good work by the way

00:38:18.600 so the reason I'm calling is because I'm

00:38:20.880 tired of that that um Fauci he's a farce he's a farce and you know something I'm a little bit

00:38:28.520 disappointed in Fox News because they're also peddling some uh um lies you know some like

00:38:34.780 about Leanna Taylor saying that that she's a an innocent dove I mean somebody that that that 0.99

00:38:41.660 that has a dead body in her trunk is not an innocent dove

00:38:45.700 I think she was definitely not she's not dating an innocent dove I don't think anyone's ever said

00:38:50.860 that yeah she her the guy she was dating was pretty nasty yeah but she I mean she she wasn't 1.00

00:38:56.660 a shooter she didn't and the police do not believe she had anything to do anything to do with any of

00:39:00.700 it right so I appreciate it those were that was fun we need to give the callers more practice we're

00:39:07.320 not taking enough calls we're not taking enough calls this is our fault just we gotta cut to the

00:39:11.420 chase uh as quickly as we can and we apologize for us it's our fault falling down on the uh job but

00:39:18.240 thank you so much for uh for listening and calling in Senator Mike Lee and a lot of information

00:46:21.180 uh i think this is the person that you really wanted out of all of the lists is this the person

00:46:27.140 you would have picked she's fantastic and i think she's going to do an amazing job and i told the

00:46:33.040 president um this really was uh good work on his part we're going to get her confirmed

00:46:37.960 so may i ask why is it going to take until october 12th to start the process

00:46:45.280 yeah that's a fair question i wish we could start it faster than that i was told by the chairman that

00:46:52.880 that would be the day that we would start there were a couple of us who asked whether we could start

00:46:57.180 a week earlier or even sooner than that and uh he pointed out that there's a lot of paperwork that

00:47:04.340 has to be filled up by the nominee a lot of process that it has to occur behind she's already filled that

00:47:08.320 out yeah but uh the fbi's already done that it's all nonetheless uh-huh we were told needs to happen

00:47:15.800 so look and let me put it this way yeah all right if he decides to start the hearing tomorrow

00:47:21.100 i i i'm here i'm ready to go uh there is nothing in the constitution there's nothing in federal

00:47:28.020 statute it requires us even to hold a hearing there's certainly nothing in the constitution

00:47:32.440 or federal statute requiring us to wait a certain period of time before starting said hearings if

00:47:38.200 we're going to have them at all which we're going to do so i think we ought to do it sooner rather

00:47:42.740 than later because the sooner we get that started the sooner we can get her confirmed so the we need to 0.70

00:47:47.660 face down the uncertainty and we need to resolve the uncertainty so we can get this job done so

00:47:51.500 they can't pull crap like what they pulled with brett kavanaugh the reason why i say uh october 12th is

00:47:57.220 in the year 2020 that's a lifetime we could all be speaking some space language uh by that time 0.87

00:48:05.500 uh and it pushes the vote to october what 29th stew october 29th that's that's right away just a few

00:48:14.900 days from the election if it's stalled delayed anything changes you would you could see a vote

00:48:22.040 that doesn't happen until after the election and then you know well i won't put words in your mouth

00:48:27.320 put words in my mouth then the romney weasels will all scatter and go well i don't know trump didn't win

00:48:34.700 the election should he not win uh yeah let's just say that um uh we'll stipulate for the record that

00:48:41.800 that would be bad if we were to push until after the election because once once it's sort of like

00:48:46.300 crossing the streams on gross ghost busters once you do that all sorts of bad stuff starts to happen

00:48:51.460 if you wait until after the election then if we lose the election either the senate majority or the

00:48:57.220 white house or heaven forbid both uh then you've got some people doubting whether we should be doing

00:49:02.600 this or not and so yeah this needs to happen sooner rather than later it needs to get started asap so

00:49:09.320 did you read the um the op-ed from bloomberg uh written by who somebody who i think clerked with her

00:49:20.860 uh for a different judge uh for a different judge in the supreme court and she he said i disagree with

00:49:27.440 trump's judicial nominee on almost everything but i think she's brilliant and he's a a lefty

00:49:34.520 who doesn't agree with you know with with the way she does things or what she's going to pass his

00:49:40.600 verdict he said but she is so smart that you want someone like her on the court to analyze he said

00:49:47.020 even though i disagreed with her he said i would go to her for the understanding of what these tangled

00:49:53.220 words meant sometimes because she could just so clearly cut through it and explain it

00:49:59.340 yes yes i read that and i thought it was fantastic um and i i think it's one of the many reasons why

00:50:09.020 she needs to be confirmed and why she will be confirmed i mean look this is somebody who uh

00:50:13.860 has dedicated her life to law and also dedicated her life to raising her her seven children she's

00:50:20.560 fantastic and uh professor noah feldman was exactly right she needs to be confirmed so um

00:50:27.740 uh we've got to get the show on the road so do you um do you have any inkling on what the democrats are

00:50:36.420 going to try to use again because if they they use religion or they try another kavanaugh it's going

00:50:42.720 to kill them it's going to kill them during the election yes it is and so one would ordinarily

00:50:48.660 think that that means that they won't try that because it would be extraordinarily harmful to

00:50:52.960 them um but it's sort of like uh those nature videos you watch on the discovery channel when you

00:51:00.700 see the wildebeest approaching the water that they know is right going to be infested don't do it

00:51:05.360 they're really thirsty yes they've got to get to that water and and and they can't help themselves

00:51:11.600 that might be what we see here the last time in judiciary committee when i brought up with some of my

00:51:17.620 colleagues that you know maybe we shouldn't uh start questioning uh a judicial nominee's religious

00:51:24.820 beliefs because there are at least two arguably three provisions of the constitution that prohibit

00:51:29.860 us from doing that and because it's evil um because it's evil piped in and they honestly said oh no

00:51:36.500 no we we really think that um if a nominee has crazy religious beliefs uh we're going to attack

00:51:44.020 them for that and and we should this was on the record this was in the light of day so you don't

00:51:48.720 think that they're going to stop because they they did something i think just as bad um they it's not

00:51:54.580 unconstitutional to do this but they they attacked her uh her adoption of her non-white kids 1.00

00:52:04.540 and somehow or another that's racist yeah yeah apparently so i didn't know that um i didn't

00:52:12.760 either uh and neither did she but uh apparently they are the deciders of such things and they have

00:52:19.340 made that decision they've also made the decision uh as came out in her last confirmation hearing for

00:52:26.200 the u.s court of appeals for the seventh circuit that um uh she was apparently too catholic uh that the 0.94

00:52:32.580 dogma lives loudly within her and that that's somehow bad so yeah i suspect those things will

00:52:38.640 come out not because it will do them any good not because it will enable them to defeat her not

00:52:42.480 because it will help them in this election but because they can't help it do you think things

00:52:47.260 would have been the same do you think she would have been nominated and you could be as assured as

00:52:54.860 anyone could be that it will go through um if kavanaugh wouldn't have happened

00:52:59.900 um i think they really pushed their luck on kavanaugh i i think they threw the hail mary pass

00:53:08.060 uh on the in the very final seconds of the game um and they lost i do think it's going to be a little

00:53:16.120 bit harder for them to pull this trick this time especially because as i pointed out in our

00:53:19.980 judiciary committee hearing on thursday um i went through the list of people they personally attack

00:53:27.160 and just getting started just rattling off a few names uh you know there's brett kavanaugh and of

00:53:32.940 course there's robert bork and of course there's my former boss sam alito and then there's clarence

00:53:40.800 thomas all of whom had their their character personally attacked to the core on things that turned

00:53:47.280 out to be really untrue and really uncorroborated and and i said no i i challenge you guys to name me

00:53:54.500 one name me one democratic nominee who's ever been treated that way by republicans crickets

00:54:03.100 yeah from a group of people who can't shut up this from a group of people who spoke for a really

00:54:07.480 really long time that day about everything else they had no response to that because that's not how

00:54:13.000 we roll and so i i think deep in their mind they realize that what they're doing is wrong that what

00:54:19.800 they're doing declowns them and and uh demeans the process and so i i hope they will find some

00:54:27.700 conscience in there talking to senator mike lee is speaking of democrats be clowning themselves uh

00:54:33.020 great word by the way yeah they are threatening all sorts of procedural delays including and up to

00:54:40.600 throwing random impeachments in the process to try to delay this thing so they can get it past the

00:54:46.280 election is it possible that any of that can work um it's possible they can delay it so i was on uh

00:54:54.000 the the abc sunday news show yesterday and one of my democratic colleagues dick durbin from illinois

00:55:01.080 was opposite me and being questioned by george stefanopoulos and mr stefanopoulos asked senator durbin

00:55:08.540 whether they would be doing that and senator durbin as i recall basically said look um we can delay this

00:55:16.100 by maybe a couple days but i i really don't think we have the procedural wherewithal to just stop it

00:55:22.300 um i i i hope that that remains the case i hope that that's not bluffing and that that's uh

00:55:29.380 is is true sincere and correct assessment but we're going to have to plan for that because there are

00:55:36.480 procedural tools that they can pull including those that involve impeachment that can at least make it

00:55:42.440 more difficult for us so um off of the um off of the nomination of the supreme court here and one one

00:55:48.720 last question because you will know what this means um you know when we declare an emergency people don't

00:55:55.420 understand that that gives all kinds of new power and spending and everything else um there's a story

00:56:02.640 that came out over the weekend president donald trump slated to announce a measure that designates far

00:56:08.360 left movement antifa and the kkk as terrorist organizations what does that designation mean anything

00:56:17.100 um okay so it's been um a while since i've looked at that designation but it allows the president

00:56:24.780 to utilize certain assets uh certain levers of authority within the government including

00:56:31.860 a treasury department to block among other things financial transactions uh carried out by the organization

00:56:40.940 in question so that we can stop them from engaging in acts of terror and so uh this could be a

00:56:48.000 a significant move i i certainly think that uh uh in both cases in the case of the kkk and antifa

00:56:56.900 you've seen a whole lot of evidence that terror is their game so um and i i know of no reason why the law

00:57:05.620 as written wouldn't extend to those categories so makes sense to me okay mike lee thank you very much

00:57:11.980 god bless hey thank you very much you beth bye-bye back to your diet coke uh all right

00:58:36.440 there was a great story in the washington examiner i read this weekend if amy coet barrett joins the

00:58:54.600 supreme court later this year conservatives will rightly be thrilled but maybe democrats and the left

00:59:00.220 will question their scorched earth tactics of the past few years had democrats been more restrained

00:59:06.380 and more bound by norms of the judicial confirmation process barrett wouldn't be in the position she's 0.87

00:59:11.440 in today as the nominee with 51 very likely votes in the u.s senate uh in the u.s senate when talking

00:59:18.480 about judicial wars it's always possible to go back to estrata or robert bork or even roe versus wade

00:59:24.500 but here it's not necessary you can go back to 2013 and look at four decisions made by senate democrats

00:59:31.200 that if they wouldn't have done in maybe even just one of these four barrett wouldn't be here

00:59:38.420 first one nuking the filibuster harry reid former democratic majority leader faced heavy pressure for

00:59:44.260 years from liberal judicial groups especially abortion advocates to go nuclear finally in president

00:59:51.200 barack obama's second term reid pushed the button reid abolished all senate rules in effect by declaring

00:59:57.420 for the first time ever that a majority of senators could change the senate rules then the democratic

01:00:03.220 majority used this power to abolish the filibuster on nominees to uh district and circuit courts it only

01:00:10.520 took 51 votes rather than 60 to invoke cloture and proceed to a nomination of the circuit court judge

01:00:16.240 about four and a half years later barrett's nomination moved to the floor with 54 42 cloture vote

01:00:21.900 were it not for reid's nuclear attack in 2013 barrett might not be even a federal judge today

01:00:28.640 second filibustering gorge gorsuch the next filibuster nuke was by republican leader mitch mcconnell in 2017

01:00:36.720 democrats filibustered the eminently qualified and totally uncontroversial nominee neil gorsuch

01:00:43.140 picked to replaced by the late uh conservative justin anthony uh scalia the filibuster by democrats

01:00:50.220 made it perfectly clear they intended to filibuster every single president trump nominee to the supreme

01:00:55.620 court no matter what with that fact evident it was easy for mcconnell to convince enough republicans to

01:01:00.920 vote in there are no rules environment that he inherited from reid to nuke the filibuster for supreme

01:01:07.720 court nominees had democrats gone the high road and allowed a vote on gorsuch such as republicans that

01:01:14.020 allowed votes on every democratic nominee for a generation then mcconnell would not have had the

01:01:19.120 opportunity to push the nuclear button had they not filibustered gorsuch trump might have been forced

01:01:25.160 to nominate a 60 vote consensus candidate and to replace kavanaugh and the filibuster might still exist

01:01:32.380 today next the dogma lives loudly within you conservative legal scholars were always going

01:01:39.880 to be excited by barrett's nomination to the circuit court but what made her cause celebrity uh celebrity

01:01:45.560 was the democrats nasty culture war attack on her they never marshaled any evidence that barrett

01:01:52.180 substituted on her own religious beliefs for the law of the constitution and so they were reduced to

01:01:58.080 utterly distorting her record and just admitting that her living as a religious pro-family catholic

01:02:03.520 creeped them out it was the naked admin admission of feinstein uh and her case against barrett that

01:02:12.100 uh barrett actually takes seriously the teachings of the catholic church that doomed the democrats this is

01:02:19.340 becoming a rallying cry for conservative catholics and religious conservatives broadly it laid bare the

01:02:24.740 bigotry of the other side's culture warriors and so for a guy who likes to fight like trump it made

01:02:30.700 barrett the natural pick the fourth thing that they said if the democrats wouldn't have done things would

01:02:36.060 have been different smearing kavanaugh now i'm i'm wondering if they're going to or if the press

01:02:42.480 will even start to see a pattern here that everything is falling apart on them you know the the support

01:02:50.540 for black lives matter is down in the 20s now it they were more popular than the military just a couple of months

01:03:00.500 ago why because it was jammed down everybody's throat and you were told that these are peaceful instead of what

01:03:09.140 they really were people want to make up their own mind and they know when they sniff out a lie the same thing with

01:03:16.480 donald trump and the media i think the media and impeachment and and the russia collusion thing

01:03:23.740 i think those two things along with the media are the reason why donald trump will have the votes that

01:03:32.080 he has come november 4th i think people have been red-pilled by the media and the overreach of the left

01:03:42.280 this is the glenn beck program leftist corporations like verizon have empowered radicals to tear our 0.91

01:03:54.180 country apart by funding their efforts most recently sending 10 million dollars to al sharpton and others

01:04:00.020 like him look at what the leftists have done to this country started with impeachment then it they

01:04:05.280 exploited the pandemic then it came to rioting and looting and now they're threatening violence over

01:04:10.180 filling a vacant seat on the supreme court where does this end well it can end with you stop funding

01:05:00.360 tomorrow on youtube you can check out the blaze tv uh incredible debate coverage you don't want to miss

01:05:09.760 it tomorrow right before the debate

01:05:11.460 this is the glenbeck program hey i i do have uh an early report i asked uh my researchers

01:05:30.200 to look in to see what can you find against amy coney barrett that the democrats might use uh and they

01:05:38.200 have found some things about her youth i i hope they're not going to use these things um but they

01:05:46.620 very well might uh they're already saying she's a racist because she has kids that are not white 0.99

01:05:51.960 and that all of a sudden is racist oh okay so they might um but a man has come forward under

01:06:00.100 the banner of hashtag men too it hasn't caught on yet uh but he said that in the second grade

01:06:08.720 amy and her best friend at the time cornered him at a birthday party at chuck e cheese

01:06:13.620 and gave him cooties uh and i apparently injected him a full dose of cooties uh which if true

01:06:22.800 i mean that would disqualify her uh i don't even want her on the court if that's true yeah there's a 0.99

01:06:28.400 there's another woman who says that when she was nine uh she lived on the same street as amy coney

01:06:34.040 barrett and she said that coney barrett borrowed a vhs tape herbie goes bananas didn't return it for

01:06:41.340 like six months and then when she got it back it wasn't even rewound uh so that's behind rewind

01:06:47.460 yeah well the fbi has interviewed at least two witnesses so far they say the tape

01:06:51.920 wasn't rewound uh and it was very upsetting to the nine-year-old owner at the time but

01:06:57.840 it's troubling that kind of integrity you know that you you want to see in a supreme court uh justice

01:07:05.960 was not there uh when amy was nine apparently and the real bombshell that i think they're going to be

01:07:13.680 using is about the drinking problem uh that she had when she apparently in elementary school uh 0.98

01:07:21.680 she liked to drink milk and lots of it and uh neighbor says she frequently witnessed coney barrett

01:07:28.560 and her friends chugging those little cartons of milk the stuff that stuff from the udder of a cow

01:07:33.860 yeah often whole i mean not even two percent just whole milk chocolate milk uh sometimes i mean they

01:07:40.180 had so much of it she said that she actually witnessed amy wasting it uh blowing it out of 1.00

01:07:45.880 her nose after she drank it oh my gosh uh so now she wasn't responsible for herbie actually going

01:07:52.780 bananas no okay not yet we don't know that yet i would not be surprised to find out but going bananas

01:07:58.440 is what is being charged that she made another kid now man go bananas um because a group of four or

01:08:09.220 five of her friends they don't know where yet where this happened the recollection is a little fuzzy

01:08:16.180 but apparently they gang raped uh him on the playground during recess what happened he was 0.96

01:08:23.220 gang raped what do you mean gang gang raped gang gang raped yeah gang raped yeah gang raped yeah 0.97

01:08:31.380 they would take grapes from the cafeteria and then just pelt him in broad daylight there they think 0.99

01:08:38.500 they think they remember it happening this horrible horrendous gang rape uh that happened on the

01:08:44.640 playground uh and apparently he recalls amy and her friends just laughing the whole time while they

01:08:50.680 were gang raping him so i mean obviously if any of these allegations even half true uh no senator uh

01:08:59.280 can can do that in fact romney was really upset at the gang raping uh so a lot of fruit related

01:09:06.220 issues she's had in her past yeah as well as the you know abuse of illicit cooties uh you know the 1.00

01:09:12.620 the the very questionable calcium habits that she had and of course the gang raping uh calcium's a 1.00

01:09:19.400 drug in my opinion that should be banned yeah yeah yeah wow well now i don't know where was mike lee on

01:09:26.400 any of this i don't even even even if any of these uh are not used i mean they can always fall back on

01:09:34.020 the deranged uh preference that she has to let babies be born yeah ew ew that's just the whole 1.00

01:09:42.480 thing's gross right that in it i mean you want a supreme court justice that it was gang raping people 0.74

01:09:47.760 no no i know i don't know thank you i know i don't thank you i'm much more disturbed about the whole

01:09:53.280 babies being born thing though that's that's wrong that's wrong well but if you do believe that you

01:09:57.600 should adopt unless you're her because uh that is just a sign of her colonialism right i mean for 1.00

01:10:06.020 adopting a kid from haiti stealing children that are black from haiti doesn't make you not a non-racist 0.73

01:10:12.400 right well it's because amy and i'm i'm quoting somebody who doesn't know her uh quote she sees 0.94

01:10:20.300 um a chance for this white colonizer uh to save these savage children in the superior ways of white 1.00

01:10:32.540 people uh you're talking of course ibram kendi here yeah who doesn't know amy at all but no but he 0.99

01:10:38.000 does know white people he does because he is a racist this is they use these black children or brown 0.94

01:10:44.580 children or yellow children or whatever kind of children you have except for white and it props 0.91

01:10:50.360 in their uh uh lifelong pictures of denial they're just they're just they're like scenery on a stage

01:10:57.100 you know it's just a prop or a tool they don't actually see them see them as kids oh and they cut

01:11:02.580 the biological parents uh you know the the the relationship that they had with their their parents

01:11:09.660 uh and cuts that right off now if you think all of that sounds as sensible as we do

01:11:16.680 which is gang grape is gang the gang griping done by done by amy coney barrett and four don't forget

01:11:23.720 four or five of her friends and we don't even know we don't know their name probably serial killers

01:11:27.840 today probably uh if you want a book by ibram kendi that's targeted at your baby feel free to go to

01:11:34.900 target and get it because that's where they sell it anti-racist baby by ibram kendi it's available

01:11:41.240 at target and almost every bookstore you'll walk into if any of them see how many see look up book

01:11:46.860 scan see how many how many copies that book has sold that's not how book scan works you can't just

01:11:50.560 look up book scan and see how many copies you actually can but you're not me yeah and if you

01:11:56.320 if you were you you would be again you'd be breaking the rules by saying it on the air anyway so i

01:12:00.140 wouldn't want to give it to you because you would blurt it out on the air i'm not saying it on the air

01:12:03.900 point is this guy oh my gosh stations edit that out you could see him on the today show he's

01:12:09.940 everywhere oprah he's widely accepted and here is a man who is outwardly advocating for discrimination

01:12:18.600 against white people he is saying that because there was past discrimination by the system which

01:12:26.000 of course he defines basically exclusively as white people we design the system western way of life the

01:12:30.800 only solution to past discrimination is present discrimination the only solution to present

01:12:36.160 discrimination is future discrimination he is telling the american people he wants white people

01:12:41.960 to be discriminated against and his book for babies is on sale at target so when when i said

01:12:50.120 i wouldn't say per se that he is racist but he seems to have a deep-seated hatred for the white culture

01:12:58.120 does that seem like it's really super accurate right now you know it does that does sound pretty

01:13:06.120 accurate not i did it's not like he just hates white people it's just that he hates the white culture

01:13:11.540 he pretty much does hate white people but yes no i know i'm very well aware of that but at the time i

01:13:18.220 may have tried to be a little more sensitive in my insensitive and racist comment that seems to hold up 0.95

01:13:25.680 now uh over time seems to be like oh no i don't know oh katie when i said white culture this is what

01:13:32.800 i meant about white culture it's these i mean this is the same this is essentially an academic face on

01:13:38.100 the rantings of jeremiah right oh yeah it really is oh yeah abram kendy and he is widely accepted he is

01:13:45.140 designing training uh you know uh programs for your company and not be racist and your kids and your

01:13:54.760 kids and your kids like legitimately directly a book to kids there's a there's a book that and

01:13:59.200 this anti-racist baby book you'll see the pictures where there's this wonderful child of color that is

01:14:06.140 being held by their parent and they just want to they want to touch the butterfly there's a butterfly

01:14:10.760 flying around no i love butter no as a white kid no no because there's a evil white arm in the side 0.59

01:14:17.300 with a with a net for all the butterfly catching all the butterflies for the white kids and we

01:14:22.200 stomp on them after we catch them but you know what go teach your baby that because babies here's 1.00

01:14:27.180 the thing about kids glenn they don't give a crap about any of this nonsense no they don't care about 1.00

01:14:32.500 your stupid color of skin that's not true nonsense kids will not play it to them no kids will not play 1.00

01:14:38.600 with kids that look differently in any way shape or form shockingly they will all the time they don't 1.00

01:14:42.880 they don't care until their dumb parents start making this into a big deal science denier just 0.98

01:14:48.480 like they don't care about eye color science denier they don't care about other immutable 0.99

01:14:51.920 characteristics they only care about skin color because for some reason we're teaching them about

01:14:57.020 racism when they're babies and by the way teaching them not just about that racism is wrong but that

01:15:03.000 white people are inherently and cannot avoid the racism that they have inside of them you speak the 0.77

01:15:08.440 truth now oh wait i forgot which side i was on okay that's okay it gets confusing 0.98

01:15:13.600 uh we're gonna talk debate when we come back in just a minute first let me tell you about simply

01:15:21.080 safe somewhere out there maybe in your neighborhood right now is a burglar man of very fine tastes i

01:15:26.400 wouldn't mind helping himself to your tv or your laptop you know maybe the xbox or playstation and of

01:15:31.960 course all that sweet cash that you've hidden so cleverly behind the portrait of your aunt on the wall

01:15:37.420 or in the refrigerator under the peas yeah that'd be the first time he finds that um he knows that

01:15:43.760 most successful burglaries take about 15 minutes from start to finish he didn't mind those odds

01:15:48.640 you know taking that cheesecake out of the refrigerator might be a step too far but

01:15:54.040 you know some of us some of them might be willing to take that risk

01:15:58.300 too bad you don't have simply safe when it really really counted or too bad for him that you do have

01:16:04.680 simply safe it may they make it easy and affordable to have the best home security on the market their

01:16:10.260 state-of-the-art equipment round-o-clock monitoring makes simply safe the first name in the business

01:16:15.040 the monitoring is 50 cents a day and you own the system and you're not going to believe how inexpensive

01:16:21.420 this system is head to simply safe beck.com right now that's simply safe beck.com get your system and

01:16:30.460 protect your stuff and your children your family get a free hd security camera when you order at

01:16:37.380 simply safe beck.com this is the glenbeck program

01:16:42.120 okay so we have the debate tomorrow i mean who's going to miss that seriously who is going to miss

01:16:57.400 the first one is always you know the biggest ratings oh yeah this is the one this is tomorrow

01:17:02.860 yeah it's here that is terrifying and and and are you i'm not confident that trump will will win i

01:17:12.000 think i think people are always so that we we have lowered the standards for joe biden so far

01:17:20.440 that if he just he shows up remember a couple weeks ago we didn't know if he'd even show up i would

01:17:26.300 say half the people around this building have made the prediction to me that he's going to

01:17:30.220 quote unquote get coveted not make the debate oh that's funny he'll make it he'll make it i think

01:17:36.640 he'll make the first one yeah and i mean you know one could pray that he you know bluffs and and just

01:17:45.180 and gets caught uh and just makes himself it makes it clear to the american people how unclear he

01:17:53.180 actually is but i don't i don't know if that's going to happen i mean if i were donald trump

01:17:57.940 if if he just completely melts down and just is like what

01:18:05.740 and he starts looking like a like an old person really struggling um donald trump should just say

01:18:16.160 this makes me i feel really uncomfortable right now because obviously we're all going to hit a point

01:18:24.960 to where we're not our minds aren't functioning the way they used to and um the compassionate thing

01:18:33.920 would be to call an end to this debate right now but we'll continue but it's unfair what the democrats

01:18:40.360 are doing to this man yeah unfair what the democrats are doing uh and look and but again that is we the

01:18:47.080 thing we have to step back from because we've seen so many bad clips of joe biden over the over the past

01:18:51.720 six months right where he's been out of sorts and and he's done his this this terrible routine that

01:18:58.520 happens over and over again a couple things to remember he's usually talking for long periods of

01:19:04.300 time and those moments are usually small moments in in the context of a longer speech or interview

01:19:10.560 that the clips just leak out to uh to us on the right and we only see those there are plenty of

01:19:15.380 moments in in where he looks relatively coherent right in these interviews and it's something to

01:19:19.560 remember because the american people are only seeing are expecting him to bumble his way through

01:19:24.360 every answer he's not going to the second part we may but i mean you if you're depending on that

01:19:29.820 to win your election you're in trouble you're in trouble secondly uh we watched joe biden in 12

01:19:35.860 what was it 12 debates for the primary yeah he's done this relatively recently and in those debates

01:19:41.800 he never had a great performance he was never i would say even good but there were some of those

01:19:46.980 debates where he was just average that's all he has to get if he can hit average it's going to be

01:19:53.660 difficult to turn the narrative of this campaign around you know trump is is he's trying to pull off

01:19:58.120 something that is almost impossible right trump yes oh yeah he's starting from here's a guy who i

01:20:03.060 mean he came into office right in a very divided country in a very close election which he lost the

01:20:08.020 popular vote and won the electoral vote he comes into office he's been a president with an incredibly

01:20:13.160 steady approval rating which has been in the low to mid 40s the entire time through four years

01:20:18.360 he is now relentless attack under a relentless attack from the media four years of being attacked by

01:20:24.680 the media then he comes in to the election year with a really good argument to say look the economy's

01:20:30.940 really strong things are going well you might not like my attitude but look at the results and then

01:20:36.060 gets hit by a global pandemic that wipes the economy out and has killed 200 000 plus people

01:20:42.020 now we're at a point where the economy still is is is it's recovering but it's not all the way back

01:20:48.540 yet and he's trying to still fight this media against a president or a contender for president

01:20:54.920 that the best case scenario is to be out of the limelight as much as possible which he's been able

01:20:59.940 to pull off because of the pandemic so now he goes into a a race where he's in you know you want to you 0.93

01:21:07.100 can say what you want about the polls but he's had a pretty consistent um uh he's been behind pretty

01:21:11.360 consistent level for a while because people haven't been focusing on the election this is his turn

01:21:16.060 to say look now it's time to focus do you really want this guy running this response look at him

01:21:21.360 and and if he if he looks competent there will be a lot of people who are on the fence right now

01:21:28.700 who are thinking i don't know if he's going to be able to make it for four years you know they want

01:21:34.220 they want to return to what he what they think he will bring which is stability not knowing what he

01:21:42.220 has built all around him because the media has been covering for the whole time so he's his

01:21:47.120 administration is the most radical administration ever in the history of america if he's not in

01:21:53.660 charge and pushes back on that you're going to have the most radical administration in the history

01:21:58.880 of the country but most people don't know that and so they'll just watch for his performance and if

01:22:04.400 he is competent and can hold his own that might be enough for him in a debate to be declared the

01:22:11.720 winner let's put it into perspective

01:23:18.900 i i want to talk to you about the election the debate the poll numbers uh but also the theft of the

01:23:30.120 election the newest latest evidence of democrats taking these ballots by bulk and doing what they want

01:23:42.480 with the ballots is this even a trustworthy situation and our latest evidence comes from minnesota

01:23:49.880 and everyone's favorite congresswoman ilan omar in 60 seconds this is the glenn beck program

01:23:59.160 all right i want you to uh get your financial house in order i will tell you i i um i went up to uh

01:24:09.020 the the ranch this weekend and i met with the the county sheriffs in both of the counties that i i live by

01:24:16.080 and and talked to them and i wasn't i wasn't alone which was amazing uh there were about six guys that

01:24:24.500 went with me uh that were from the town i didn't even know them uh but from the town and talking to

01:24:31.200 the sheriff and saying you know we support you whatever you need what do we need to do to make

01:24:37.640 sure that no crazy business happens here in town and he was talking about i don't want any vigilante

01:24:43.540 stuff that's not what's going to happen we're just going to have law and order but believe me we'll all

01:24:49.280 stand together as a community if you haven't done that you really need to i would like to urge you

01:24:55.400 in the next week to call your sheriff in your county remember the sheriffs their only responsibility

01:25:03.560 is to protect and defend the constitution and help the people that stand with the constitution they

01:25:11.420 answer to the people and the constitution they don't answer to anybody else so our sheriffs are really

01:25:17.880 going to be the ones that fix everything or at least we will hold the line but if you have the

01:25:24.060 wrong sheriff boy make sure you know who you're voting for and if they're not up for re-election

01:25:28.980 make sure that you go and tell them that you support them if indeed you do find out where they stand on

01:25:35.880 things because that makes a real difference anyway as you're getting your house in order and you're doing

01:25:39.920 all kinds of things may i suggest you get your financial house in order and a way to do that is a

01:25:46.060 refi of your mortgage get your interest rate down if you have over four percent you're way over paying

01:25:51.780 you could be paying like two percent if you have a mortgage and you can refi fold all of your high

01:25:58.940 interest credit card debt and any high interest debt into that home mortgage without resetting the

01:26:05.260 final payment you will because of the interest rate you are going to save so much money you'll be able

01:26:12.740 to pay those credit card debts off call american financing now 800-906-2440 800-906-2440 or go to

01:26:30.660 elanomar elanomar elanomar elanomar

01:26:43.900 yes that's right time for our elanomar update uh everybody's favorite congresswoman yeah she gets

01:26:57.080 herself into trouble from time to time but just like lucy and ethel uh you know this crazy kid

01:27:05.620 has uh the attorney general to watch her back kind of like ethel did with lucy so we are going to check

01:27:12.940 in now with david steinberg he's an investigative reporter he has been following elanomar and had

01:27:19.780 some information uh on the uh on the on the actual uh yeah which is i'm sorry i'm being talked to in my

01:27:29.840 ear i can't um understand anyway uh david steinberg is here he has had information on elanomar as i

01:27:36.460 understand it hasn't been able to share it because he didn't have the smoking gun he had bullets

01:27:42.120 uh and uh now may be willing to uh uncover some of those things that he had found on ballot

01:27:49.660 harvesting fraud it's legal to ballot harvest i don't know why in minnesota but uh the fraud that

01:27:57.020 goes along with it was exposed by project veritas this weekend welcome david glenn thanks for having

01:28:04.680 me again absolutely so um let me play the audio here from project veritas so people know

01:28:11.940 what the new information is listen who is the one filling out the absentee ballots

01:28:18.420 people will work uh with like elanomar and other candidates work for them

01:28:30.580 they came to us to our apartments

01:28:40.280 they tell us that this year you're gonna vote for elanomar

01:28:46.760 you don't go nowhere you stay for we will gotta fill out for you absolutely ballot when the chemist

01:29:00.560 will come and get it we just know where you stay here 0.99

01:29:03.160 they fill out for us they then fill out the ballot

01:29:09.640 they sign the ballot for us they do it but by themselves and then they where do they pay the

01:29:16.780 that's pretty stunning david

01:29:30.320 yeah it's pretty stunning this has also been circulating uh well locally it's been known

01:29:37.480 since 2016 her first election it was simply an open secret now this reached uh me and uh scott johnson at

01:29:47.880 powerline uh i believe we've been hearing this since late 2018 uh regarding her having arranged a

01:29:56.680 massive massive massive vote buying campaign in her primary win in 2016 the general in 2016 which is when 0.69

01:30:05.160 she was elected as a state representative and then again in 2018 it was the primary

01:30:12.160 and the general when uh she was voted to congress so this program is not new it was massive i have

01:30:22.640 hinted at it i i did discuss it with you briefly on the air may right and i said look this is everywhere

01:30:29.620 and and the way i put it was look we are already talking about potentially the worst string of felonies

01:30:37.800 is committed by a congressperson in u.s history and that's before we get to the bad stuff

01:30:44.140 and the bad stuff which we were referencing is this perhaps a historically large vote buying campaign

01:30:53.000 for several elections so because voting is uh controlled by the state do we need to have the

01:31:03.680 attorney general who is watching her back it's it's keith ellison or can the federal government get

01:31:09.240 involved in this good question the answer is keith ellison can be bypassed here cannot be or can

01:31:16.980 charges are federal federal okay the uh and of course this is not something that this isn't uh a situation

01:31:28.400 like portland where you get arrested and and released and not charged and no bail

01:31:33.960 if a candidate is caught bribing a voter for as little as a candy bar uh you could be facing five years in

01:31:44.800 prison and now we are talking about hundreds perhaps thousands of votes over at least four elections

01:31:51.680 but you have to believe that those in the somali community are going to be very apprehensive to talk

01:32:00.920 to investigators i mean it's a scary if this is truly going on then it means that everything else that is

01:32:09.740 linked to it the threat of violence etc etc if you you know blow the whistle here that that's also true

01:32:18.740 well sure we've we've published uh plenty of evidence that her campaign i mean we have video

01:32:26.000 evidence once again what what we have here this person actually posted online uh the video that

01:32:33.520 o'keefe has posted he was bragging about what he was doing just posted it online it was out there

01:32:39.180 that's the same thing we had back in 2016 when uh alpha news minnesota first posted

01:32:46.840 a video taken at an ilhan campaign event where they were talking about whoever it was in the community

01:32:55.740 who had leaked uh the news of her fraudulent marriage they had to hunt that person down and

01:33:02.140 get them out of the community and this was at her campaign posted on their facebook uh the person

01:33:08.780 who actually recorded that video his name was guhad hachi was at the time out on bail for a triple

01:33:18.920 stabbing in ohio and he was out of state you know he had lived in ohio he was now in minnesota

01:33:26.740 running or or co-running her intimidation campaign that's right i remember that the same guy

01:33:35.020 he's running this co-intimidation campaign he's going door to door knocking on doors allegedly

01:33:41.440 saying we want to know that you're going to keep your mouth quiet if i mark down here that you gave us

01:33:47.240 25 bucks we'll know we can trust you so he's running a protection racket we also have them have talk of

01:33:58.060 uh simply running a vote buying campaign where they have bags of money going out organized by ali issy

01:34:07.600 he was the campaign manager spread among 11 different building managers for these 11

01:34:14.440 these 11 towers that mostly housed the somali refugees in cedar riverside the money was getting

01:34:21.500 spread around to each of them it was simply if you show up or get in this van and we drive you

01:34:28.040 down and vote we'll give you a set amount i've heard the amount of 50 for the primary and 125 for the

01:34:35.080 general so david is anyone going to look into this well this was given to the fbi i can confirm earlier

01:34:48.620 this year uh people and again remember giving false information to the fbi is a felony in itself

01:34:56.600 we had locals who were willing to give this information face to face to the fbi early this

01:35:04.100 year regarding these four prior elections now we did not have any concrete evidence all we had was

01:35:13.240 several people confirming this now again early this year after speaking with the fbi someone said you

01:35:21.560 no let's call james o'keefe get him down here see if he can catch them in the act this year

01:35:26.080 and as we can see he was successful so we now have our foot in the door uh with proof of her doing it

01:35:33.060 this year we can go back and look at 2016 and 2018 i feel very confident now about this also just last

01:35:40.220 night uh o'keefe spoke with the hennepin hennepin county uh attorney's office so he said what you

01:35:47.980 have on that tape is illegal and we are looking into it so it's a great start let me let me play let me

01:35:54.060 play a little bit more of the uh the tape this is the ballast heart the ballot harvester uh what is it

01:36:00.420 liban mohammad uh where he is on social media making a video here about the stack of absentee ballots

01:36:08.480 in his car that he collected for the campaign of a democrat listen numbers don't lie numbers don't

01:36:15.760 lie what is it that got it what has what absent ballot sell kai ala so much it is very well how

01:36:22.560 so much it is well how good it says all these absentee ballots can't you see they're all here

01:36:29.000 my car is full of them three hundred clear months today i have 300 ballots for jamal is that

01:36:35.420 is that an uh enough because really he could have 300 ballots for jamal just because he was knocking

01:36:43.360 on doors which is called ballot harvesting which is fine in at least in minnesota i don't think it's

01:36:50.120 fine but he could just go and get the ballots from people that were you know signing them of their

01:36:56.420 own volition well that's not exactly correct it is fine to collect three ballots 300 according to

01:37:05.160 minnesota law ah so it is not fine it is already illegal of course we've got uh folks like mark

01:37:14.060 elias that perkins cooey election law attorney he has led the vote by mail suits uh have been i believe

01:37:22.460 three dozen lawsuits to get vote by mail uh ballot harvesting uh the signature law to get that relaxed

01:37:32.400 to get everything relaxed to have votes be able to count uh one two weeks after election day that's

01:37:40.080 mark elias he's the one who's been suing every state to make what you're seeing in that video

01:37:46.520 legal not not the fact that he's purchasing votes right but to make harvesting 300 ballots just going

01:37:53.720 door to door like that legal so it's an uphill fight across the country in every state it is an absolute

01:38:04.400 crisis at this point and it all should have been avoided they've been doing this since march of early

01:38:10.000 this year you'll remember the um the moment the coronavirus lockdown started to begin guys like

01:38:18.200 mark elias and the democratic party immediately millions and millions of dollars came out of

01:38:24.260 nowhere and they started these suits all over the country to implement vote by mail and to change

01:38:30.860 to to relax all these other laws now vote by mail has never ever been implemented in eight months

01:38:39.260 march until november the states that do have it and do a fairly decent job of it

01:38:45.360 it took them several years of refinement and lawsuits and refinement and process refinement

01:38:52.320 and he was trying to do in eight months they knew from the start this was going to be a disaster

01:38:57.300 we now have on camera just how big of a disaster we're going to face in november

01:39:02.520 david thank you very much david steinberg investigative reporter uh covering the news that came out from

01:39:08.400 project veritas uh this weekend about ballot harvesting fraud in minnesota um people are

01:39:15.540 risking literally risking their life to bring information out you're not going to see this

01:39:20.700 information in the mainstream media it's important for you to share these things with your friends who

01:39:27.640 are still undecided or you know or just it's just normal people that maybe aren't hearing things

01:39:34.840 people are not hearing the truth because they're only watching one side or the other thank you very

01:39:41.080 much david appreciate it a lot of more all right i want to talk to you about rec tech uh when you're in

01:39:53.780 the kitchen slaving away over a hot stove all the time just to make something that your kids are

01:39:59.340 probably going to complain about anyway and they say can i just have chicken nuggets instead

01:40:04.420 why not stand uh outside when it's starting to cool now and uh and stand over a rec tech

01:40:14.040 and cook on a rec tech you don't have to stand out there but it's a good excuse to get away from the

01:40:19.720 kids who are crying and screaming fighting all the time you just stand outside you don't have to you

01:40:24.720 go inside you can go anywhere you can go to the store and you can still control your rec tech because

01:40:29.940 it has smart grill technology so grilling on your time the way you want it's the last grill you're

01:40:37.420 going to ever want to buy i want you to i want you to look at uh rec tech i want you to go to their

01:40:42.960 website and i want you to ab compare them the reason why they can keep this at a competitive price

01:40:47.900 with the best on the market is because there's no middleman you buy them directly from them

01:40:53.240 so you just look at the stats of the best out on the market and then compare it to a rec tech and

01:41:00.540 you will see the difference it's r-e-c-t-e-q.com r-e-c-t-e-q.com rec tech.com go there now 10

01:41:09.680 second station id so all these democrat uh these democratic senators are refusing to meet

01:41:26.140 with uh with amy comey barrett that that is amazing chuck schumer richard blumenthal you know

01:41:34.920 all the people that you would expect but still they won't meet they're not gonna they're not

01:41:40.200 gonna even talk to her i'd say that it's because you meet someone and they're nice and intelligent

01:41:47.340 you might like them and then it's harder to call them satan but that improved i don't think richard

01:41:52.480 blumenthal or chuck schumer or any of these people have a problem saying whatever to somebody's face

01:41:59.460 and then turning around and knifing him in the back right that implies that they have a soul yeah

01:42:03.200 and that's it that's wrong to do right and that's why i don't think you should retract that no i just

01:42:07.940 that's why i didn't bring it up i i just that that was my initial incentive well maybe because

01:42:12.200 they know what they're going to have to do is something horrific to another human being they

01:42:17.580 believe it's their duty that they have to go out there and call her a gang rapist or a gang

01:42:21.980 rapist or whatever it is and they're going to come out and and do that and you don't want to

01:42:26.200 necessarily have a personal relationship with them but that implies that they have a soul that

01:42:31.200 they would have feelings that they would feel bad about assassinating someone's character and they

01:42:36.120 don't so they have no concern about that whatsoever there are terrible terrible human beings they really

01:42:42.600 don't care about the person in the middle the the average democrat they really don't care about them

01:42:49.760 they're sending this is done to send a message to the left that we're doing everything we can to stop this

01:42:57.180 it's a weird it's kind of a weird idea though like what what is the electoral benefit here for them

01:43:03.800 to me it would make a lot more sense if they went out there and looked at the nominee honestly and said

01:43:09.720 you know what we don't think she's appropriate she's too liberal right but like and then you come to your audience

01:43:14.360 whatever you want we voted against her and they had the votes and that's why you need to keep us in

01:43:17.800 office that's right if you just look totally rational you could have been meeting in your little

01:43:22.280 you know secret chambers and say look none of us we hate her we call her all kinds of name everybody

01:43:27.360 go out and be really really kind just say we're going to take a really open-minded look at this

01:43:32.680 that would be what a normal person would do an evil politician would also then be conspiring with all of

01:43:41.280 their other politicians to knife her in the back but that's what i think people want just listen to 1.00

01:43:47.560 her meet her talk to her but you don't vote treat her fairly that's it that's what i think is also 0.52

01:43:54.880 going to be the problem with this election americans don't americans would abide by an election that went

01:44:01.920 to biden or to trump if we weren't being convinced that it was going to be stolen you know those are for

01:44:10.660 the people on the left they're being convinced that donald trump's going to steal it but we

01:44:14.380 actually have the evidence of the democrats trying to steal it this is the glenn beck program fair

01:44:22.380 fight is all really that america uh wants just a fair fight um who's our sponsor this half hour sarah

01:45:40.540 everything in between on youtube for the blaze

01:45:43.380 this is the glenn beck program uh let's talk to uh steve dace who's going to be part of our debate

01:45:58.140 coverage tomorrow make sure you join us on blaze tv uh blaze tv.com slash glenn you can sign up if you

01:46:07.840 use glenn debates you're going to save 20 percent uh on uh on your uh your subscription and tomorrow

01:46:15.200 and the next few weeks are going to be very well worth uh you know the 10 bucks or what is it actually

01:46:20.840 i think it's down to like seven seven bucks six bucks after you get your discount uh so make sure

01:46:26.500 you join us tomorrow night steve dace is going to be with us uh it'll be me and pat uh and stew

01:46:33.380 also i think we have dave rubin joining us as well as well as steve dace steve's with us now hi steve

01:46:40.280 morning guys uh if you don't know who steve dace is he's a guy who follows me on our network he is

01:46:45.720 really really good um especially when it comes to uh logic and uh poll numbers he's a lot like stew

01:46:53.960 but he also has the experience of of running campaigns or being part of campaigns in the past

01:47:00.620 so he has a different look we're talking about the uh debate tomorrow uh steve how how would you go in

01:47:07.400 and and uh want us to look at this going in how should america be looking at this going in

01:47:15.700 well as someone who's been on a debate prep team for a presidential candidate i you know a lot of this

01:47:21.720 and has done the spin room afterwards you know glenn a lot of this is based off expectations you know

01:47:27.200 we're at the point now that it's an expectations game and the thing that i am very concerned about

01:47:31.680 and i've been saying it on my show uh on the blaze for the last month or two is it just seems like we

01:47:37.760 are artificially lowering the expectations for the opposition here uh consider yourself in favor of

01:47:45.460 trump and wanting biden to lose and i think it's a really dangerous strategy always uh in just about

01:47:51.720 any endeavor there's a reason why football coaches at their press conferences each week oh boy and

01:47:56.020 talking about how bad their team sucks uh when you are artificially lowering the expectations of

01:48:00.580 your opposition at this point if joe biden does not look up at the sky and say this is a big one 0.89

01:48:04.820 alice and breathes it's going to be called a win and i think that is what i am concerned about going

01:48:11.180 into tomorrow night so he's when you watch him have you watched him enough lately i mean we see all the

01:48:18.340 clips stew and i were talking about this earlier you see all the clips of him and he at times just

01:48:23.980 looks horrible but there's a lot of speeches and things that he's doing where he doesn't look like

01:48:28.400 that do you think he can pull this off for two hours i think it's possible he sort of did against

01:48:35.620 bernie sanders right before everything shut down uh the final debate in the democratic primary that

01:48:40.500 was six months ago uh or more than six months ago now he also was permitted because of all the

01:48:45.500 shutdowns because frankly i think the administration was too slow and aggressively pushing reopening

01:48:50.120 he you know for somebody who's older who already clearly has metal capacity issues

01:48:54.540 the wear and tear of an election remember hillary's fainting spell in 2016 yeah the daily campaigning the

01:49:00.700 travel uh the hours that these people log at any age but particularly his and with his obvious

01:49:06.140 diminished mental capacity there'd be a lot more tread on those tires in a normal campaign he has been

01:49:12.020 permitted to essentially choose spots to speak um which makes the the clips where he can even more

01:49:17.980 damning probably but he's been essentially permitted to save up for this moment and i think what was

01:49:24.160 going to happen glenn is that if they did not have a strong convention and we did not get to see good

01:49:29.060 economic news and the polls narrowing then i don't think we would have had any debates i think biden would

01:49:33.940 have said well you know i'll show up when trump shows up uh with his tax returns or some other

01:49:38.180 cockamamie excuse and he would have absorbed some hit but he would have had enough of a lead to absorb it

01:49:43.000 it's too close now he has to show up if tonight he shows or tomorrow night he shows up and he's

01:49:48.020 cognizant and alert then i don't believe you'll have the rest of the debates i agree i agree um what

01:49:55.120 does trump need to do he needs to make his case to the american people i think i think the big trap

01:50:02.060 that the president needs to avoid falling into is he is at his best in the hand-to-hand combat

01:50:06.600 and in a battle of personalities if i'm joe biden i want to provoke trump right away in the fight

01:50:12.100 i want to create a galvanizing moment for me in the opening 15 minutes anticipating that i may wear

01:50:18.060 down over the final 30 so i want to produce some moment where trump looks like he's bullying me

01:50:22.980 i get to say come on man let's do some push-ups everybody laughs um and put people at ease i want to

01:50:29.220 provoke trump trump i think needs to avoid the trap of looking like he is bullying joe biden needs to

01:50:35.720 make his case directly to the american people prior to march 12th of this year he had a very strong

01:50:42.020 case for re-election the job numbers last month he's almost below the unemployment rate that obama

01:50:47.820 got re-elected on in 2012 uh you're looking at perhaps an over 30 increase in gdp here for the

01:50:55.140 third quarter we should get those numbers right before the election the last week of october so he

01:51:00.520 has a case to make he needs to make his case unfettered around the mainstream media narrative directly to

01:51:07.760 the 100 plus million people that are watching tomorrow and actually let joe biden rise and fall

01:51:13.140 on his own as much as possible and not seeing like he is pestering him or needling him or bullying him

01:51:20.080 why do you think he keeps asking for a drug test i think it's to see if he's taking anything that

01:51:27.740 indicates um that uh he has cognitive uh disability issues uh any sort of artificial uh means of staying

01:51:36.980 alert i mean he's calling these campaign days at noon uh pretty much every day and they've been

01:51:41.560 trying to say it's for debate prep well it's been debate prep since about labor day yeah so i think it

01:51:47.300 probably has something to do with that but this is again where you're the incumbent president if we're

01:51:53.060 sitting here in the see i think he is in a much stronger position than the the the public polling

01:51:58.900 which i i just don't buy when i actually go i mean they're the abc news washington post poll has a 21

01:52:04.940 point lead for biden among his dependents glenn all in the last seven elections in the biggest blowout

01:52:11.320 of the last seven obama won independence by eight that's never happening he's winning by 21 points with

01:52:17.160 independence okay but the president needs to make that case and so i think he's in a much stronger

01:52:23.760 position relying on well my opponent uh has uh dementia and can't do the job you've been the

01:52:30.920 president for four years you need to make your affirmative case to the american people all right

01:52:36.400 i want to get you and stew into a nerd fight because stew is very concerned because of the polls

01:52:43.020 and you seem to me like ah this is great this is gonna be fine uh i don't know if you're that far

01:52:49.560 apart from each other but i want a nerd fight so tell stew why you're not buying the polls

01:52:55.440 because they may have the right conclusion but my seventh grade math teacher in grand rapids

01:53:00.760 michigan mr judavich used to tell me i can go to a calculator and get the right equation answer i need

01:53:05.540 you to show your work their methodology when they show their work it's not even anemic it's insulting

01:53:11.460 it's multiple simultaneous things that cannot be true that donald trump is losing 11 points of

01:53:18.000 evangelicals but will get 39 of hispanics it's that he's losing independence by 20 points uh when no

01:53:25.080 one's won him by eight in the biggest blowout in our current electoral college environment uh that

01:53:30.520 we're going to see uh a drop a massive drop of of uh white working class uh or then we're going to

01:53:38.400 see a massive increase of it in the monolith poll recently 70 of voters were non were going to be

01:53:44.560 white non-college graduates which trump won pretty convincingly four years ago but he's still going to

01:53:49.700 lose these methods it tells me they're not entirely sure there's a couple of options this is whole cloth

01:53:56.340 a setup in order to justify calling the election illegitimate if he wins and say well we had all this

01:54:01.480 data he must have stolen it or they're pinning the tail on the donkey here with a blindfold trying to

01:54:07.000 figure out what the turnout of the actual electorate is going to be it's one or the other

01:54:10.700 and that's terrifying honestly if they're that because you could tell that they were they were

01:54:15.460 very uh the the whole education difference when they were not correcting for education in 2016 it

01:54:21.580 was this sort of consensus mistake they made last time that they're trying to correct but it doesn't

01:54:25.520 seem like they're uniformly able to correct it in any rational way i mean i don't i this is all stuff

01:54:31.200 that some of the stuff that we've that steve mentioned we've talked about on the air and i think

01:54:34.320 there's been really bizarre things where if look if donald trump wins 39 of hispanics he's winning

01:54:41.340 the election full stop like there's no way he could lose in that scenario i don't think i mean

01:54:47.000 unless something i'm you know something i'm really missing and there's other polls that show him at 18

01:54:50.800 and 20 of african-american votes if he wins if that's real you know he's going to win the election

01:54:55.960 so i but you're right i've seen some of those polls as well uh so i i i i i hesitate to look at

01:55:02.580 one individual but i've seen i've seen them in several so i i again like i think you got to look

01:55:07.720 at these things uh as a whole and and and do the averaging sort of thing where you look every time

01:55:12.160 i talk to you i want to kill myself every time i talk to every time i talk to you you make really 0.81

01:55:17.480 good case like look these poll numbers are that is legitimately exactly what my wife put on my our 1.00

01:55:22.280 last anniversary card right every time i talk to you i want to kill myself that's exactly what you 0.76

01:55:26.140 happy anniversary uh so and every time i talk to steve i feel like oh okay this is going to go

01:55:32.340 well no i normally i'm the grim reader yeah i know i know i know so i'd like you two to work it out

01:55:39.940 because i don't think you i this is what what he just said is it shows that the polls are you can't

01:55:46.940 trust the polls for for whatever reason you can't trust the polls and you've been telling me you got

01:55:52.640 to trust the polls i mean i don't think you universally trust the polls i mean you can look

01:55:56.760 at them you know again i think it's always better to average polls than to take individual polls i

01:56:01.240 think that's that's a good that's a good safety tip um and i think you know you look at them

01:56:05.380 generally speaking it's been a pretty consistent lead for biden that being said i think a lot of

01:56:10.400 that has to do with people have not been in election mode they haven't been thinking about this

01:56:14.320 like they have every other election we've ever been through they've been in another world

01:56:17.980 thinking about other things no i'm just saying i'm saying this is a positive for trump i'm saying

01:56:22.580 that like i mean but if that's your positive the lead is miss the lead is misleading right like i

01:56:28.300 think you could look at this and say he's got plenty of opportunities here three high profile nights

01:56:33.440 um at the very least to be able to narrow this i do think that you know election held today i'd be

01:56:39.000 very very nervous i would not think that trump was going to win if the election was held today

01:56:42.740 however here's an interesting fact not held today right so it doesn't make any difference what

01:56:47.060 would happen if it was so so steve show me how he can win like when i talked to stew last friday

01:56:52.780 he was like you know he needs every white person ever born and then some to be able to win uh but

01:56:59.900 because the numbers the demographics are against him just if he just had the same number of people

01:57:05.740 vote for him as they did last time he loses i mean it it's isn't it a pretty herculean task

01:57:12.660 for him to pull off we've only had in the in the two-party era guys when we weren't at world war

01:57:19.400 one or world war ii we've only had one president ever win re-election who didn't get more electoral

01:57:25.500 college votes and more popular votes than he did to get elected and that was barack obama in 2012

01:57:30.760 so historically presidents win re-election all time in america 70 of the time and then since we went to a

01:57:38.440 two-party system post-civil war um only one time uh non-world war one or world war ii did a president

01:57:45.340 win re-election without having to expand his base so that's that's really not unique um i actually

01:57:52.180 think the president in the electoral college is in a stronger position now than he was at this point

01:57:56.740 four years ago heading into the debates um i think really there's only 69 contested uh nice uh 69

01:58:03.700 contested uh electoral college votes that are up between now and november the 3rd that's it i think

01:58:09.740 everything else is pretty much spoken for and those are all in states that trump won in 2016 i think now

01:58:17.640 it just comes down to can he defend that territory and then it comes down to a place like in nevada

01:58:22.160 you know where the casinos have been shut down all year they've mildly reopened there's been thousands

01:58:27.060 of layoffs there a lot of union employees have left that state remember trump only lost that state by

01:58:32.760 20 000 votes in 2016 so those are some of the local anecdotal notes that are on the ground

01:58:39.540 um i think what he needs uh is on friday this jobs report no president has ever been re-elected

01:58:46.180 if the jobs report went was the last one before his election was higher than it was the month before

01:58:52.380 they've all lost so he needs that unemployment number to continue to stay about where it was

01:58:57.740 in september or come down but that gdp report at the end of october i think that could be a an october

01:59:04.180 surprise but i think on tuesday night he really needs to make a strong presidential case to the

01:59:10.640 american people and let joe biden largely rise and fall on his own do the 69 electoral votes uh where are

01:59:18.160 they michigan pennsylvania uh arizona uh wisconsin minnesota those are most of the 69 votes see i think

01:59:27.780 florida is trending strongly for trump yeah i think north carolina has already had kind of uh the

01:59:33.440 democrats kind of had their moment recent polling has trended in his direction and i think the

01:59:37.660 demographics in that state uh trend in his direction he overperformed his polling there so i'm counting

01:59:42.800 that as a lean republican i don't believe george is a massive battleground state i have that as a lean

01:59:47.100 republican yeah and i think i think texas is a lean republican now as well so i think it's those

01:59:52.600 those states primarily are good i'm making up the 69 up for grabs electoral college votes and those

01:59:58.700 those rust belt states i i think if the election were today i'd have no idea what happened because i

02:00:03.500 think the amount of cheating there is going to be extraordinary i agree i agree and the cheating you

02:00:09.340 do you wouldn't think that the cheating really matters uh you know in states like california but

02:00:13.820 they're going to make a case that he didn't win the popular vote yep and uh that will change things
