00:02:42.620 but the most important thing is they share your values and they support organizations fighting for religious freedom
00:02:48.860 constitutional rights sanctity of life and our veteran and first responder heroes

00:03:15.420 holy cow
00:03:21.420 well
00:03:21.740 uh
00:03:24.780 you know every day my job starts out a couple of hours before the program uh when i am looking at all
00:03:33.100 of the news stories uh of the day and make the final cut of what gets on what doesn't get on the show
00:03:40.700 today and it is harder and harder to be able to put the show together because there is so much i could
00:03:47.580 do a six hour show every single day today i just want to give you the headlines because i think it's important
00:03:56.220 for the overall picture so i want to spend 20 minutes just to give you what has come out in the news in the last
00:04:04.140 three days since we last met
00:04:09.820 holy mother
00:04:12.220 so we have more information about uh uh dashanko
00:04:18.540 he is the guy who uh was the source if you will for
00:04:26.300 the steel dossier okay everything that happened all this russian
00:04:32.300 you know collusion and uh you know donald trump has a you know really bad film from russia that
00:04:39.580 was made and he's uh you know making it with prostitutes etc etc all of that stuff all of it now
00:04:48.940 we know was not only false but we know now that the fbi knew that in 2017
00:04:57.660 had a pretty good idea in 2016 in 2017 they were very clear on it
00:05:08.380 they knew where it came from and this guy is uh made into this russian operative and maybe is maybe
00:05:15.580 isn't but he was at a liberal think tank
00:05:19.660 and he wasn't coming up with the stuff himself he was being fed information
00:05:28.700 from a clinton supporter somebody was on her campaign staff so he didn't get it from russia he gets it from
00:05:36.780 this guy
00:05:39.820 all of this now lays right at the feet of hillary clinton
00:05:43.820 was this a coup you can make the case that this was a coup of sorts they were trying to
00:05:55.100 overthrow his presidency if this was happening in any other country we would say it was a failed state
00:06:03.260 when a major party can use the the the government apparatus and the media apparatus
00:06:13.820 to smear and to build a case against an innocent guy just to thwart him and they all knew
00:06:22.140 the washington post knew in 20 either 17 or 2018 they knew and yet they continued
00:06:31.180 to win the pulitzer they continued the lies
00:06:34.780 okay so that happened oh uh the fbi also is the victim in that one i just want you to know they
00:06:44.140 say they were duped uh-huh now the fbi also went out and uh tried to find a lost diary this weekend
00:06:55.740 now this one you helped me out i was reading jonathan tourley's opinion on this this weekend and uh
00:07:07.900 he's right this is an absolute over the line abuse of justice and the fbi needs to be called into
00:07:19.740 account from the senate from the house and the people you've already destroyed your credibility fbi
00:07:31.100 now here's what happened do you remember a story about a year ago i think that there was a diary from
00:07:37.900 joe biden's daughter and in it she had said that she had taken inappropriate showers with her father
00:07:48.220 when she was young she also said and i don't think it says the abuser but she also said she was abused
00:07:56.220 sexually i think by a family member but it doesn't pin it on joe biden so there was some sort of sexual
00:08:04.780 problems going on and there were showers with daddy also in that diary she talks about how
00:08:14.620 she and the other children of the family resent dad so much because of the way he controls all of the
00:08:20.780 money which goes right to the hunter laptop which we now know is true well they denied that this diary
00:08:30.540 had anything like that there was no no that's not true all of this is just gobbledygook really
00:08:40.140 well the fbi broke into several uh members of the project veritas staff their homes this weekend
00:08:49.820 searching for anything related to the lap to i'm sorry to the diary
00:08:53.980 now here's what happened with the diary the diary according to uh project veritas was uh was from an
00:09:05.900 anonymous tipster that said hey this diary is here it was left behind just go get it
00:09:13.820 okay well all right it's i mean it would be really hard to believe that if that hadn't just happened with
00:09:19.420 the hunter biden laptop exactly right maybe this is just something this family does yes they leave
00:09:25.500 really important documents correct in very strange places okay so they they left the the
00:09:31.260 diary behind project veritas uh goes and gets it they do not publish the story because they can't verify
00:09:41.260 that the diary is actually hers okay so they turn it over to the police now this is a year ago
00:09:50.940 and you might remember this story because it made just a little blip nobody in the mainstream media was
00:09:55.580 willing to touch it well now we know that the diary is real because the white house had the justice
00:10:04.540 department and the fbi break down the doors of these people's houses on saturday morning
00:10:11.340 and they were looking for anything related to that diary now may i ask
00:10:19.260 what is the federal crime that would have been committed here with a diary if my daughter loses her
00:10:28.540 diary and it has bad things in it about me um are they gonna is the fbi going to investigate and kick
00:10:37.340 down the doors of maybe some boy in high school that took it from her i don't think so since when is
00:10:44.940 that a federal federal crime now if it had things in it where i was abusing her and they needed that for
00:10:51.180 evidence i could see but that's not what they were doing
00:10:58.380 so the fbi is completely out of control the f the atf also we found out this weekend has obtained 54
00:11:08.140 million gun records 54 million gun records apparently when any business any gun business
00:11:17.180 goes out of uh uh goes out of business they they have to turn their records that are 20 years
00:11:25.260 old uh they can they can destroy them the fed now is taking the gun records and they're keeping them
00:11:35.100 and they're digitizing them so you can run them for names this is a federal registry now
00:11:41.900 uh they are uh they are going to the the small gun owners are gun shops are going to be forced out of
00:11:51.500 business mark my words they're all going to go out of business and so every record that they have
00:11:57.580 will be in the hands of the federal government you tie this to the irs spying on your bank account
00:12:04.140 they've got they've got everything they need should they decide to misuse it but that would be crazy
00:12:11.900 we have the written house trial that happened i've i've got to go over with you today
00:12:24.060 it's astounding the the prosecution's case and the prosecution's witness i don't know if the
00:12:33.100 prosecution knows what that word means you're not supposed to come up with things that exonerate
00:12:39.500 the guy you're calling a bad guy but that's what they did they put two witnesses on that disproved
00:12:47.420 the state's case why in the wildest dreams of the prosecution would you put these two guys on
00:12:56.220 up as witnesses where they're like no that's not what happened
00:13:01.660 so now we know that the
00:13:04.220 the persecution not prosecution persecution of kyle rittenhouse is just that they have nothing
00:13:12.300 on this guy biden came out this weekend and uh he said no no no no no no no the the payout thing
00:13:24.060 you remember that thing that i said was a garbage term do we still have that from last week he was asked
00:13:29.660 about do we have you know do do if we don't have it at our fingertips no big deal sarah he was asked
00:13:36.700 you know uh hey what about paying 450 000 people uh 450 000 to people who just came across our border
00:13:47.180 during the trump administration and maybe up to a million and he was very adamant it's a garbage story
00:13:53.100 and stew said i think he's arguing about the 450 000 the exact dollar amount because the way he answers
00:13:59.980 that he's very specific and kind of looks at him and says you said you said 450 000 per person right
00:14:05.580 450 000 per person that's garbage okay well he's he's obviously some medication makes him really
00:14:11.980 really angry uh at times because he just flew off the handle on saturday when he was asked about this
00:14:18.940 because the white house said no no no no no he he he he was wrong it it is going through they're
00:14:25.260 they're going to settle these cases so they said it might not be 450 000 so here's what he said listen
00:14:32.540 this sat what he said saturday he said last week uh that this report about uh migrant families at the
00:14:38.460 border getting payments uh was garbage no i didn't say that yes he said everybody coming across the border
00:14:47.260 gets five hundred four hundred fifty thousand dollars so the number was what you had a problem
00:14:50.940 a number i was referring to a big big big stuff if in fact now listen to this because of the
00:14:56.620 the outrageous behavior of the last administration uh-huh which is the same as yours and the guy before
00:15:01.340 legal illegal and you lost your child you lost your child he's gone you deserve some kind of
00:15:09.580 compensation okay all right good so you lost your child you lost your child that guy is unstable that
00:15:16.300 is that is a really unstable reaction and he looks worse than that sounded oh yeah yeah listening on
00:15:24.300 radio that's a very unstable reaction okay you lost your child not a good weekend for him to point that
00:15:32.620 out because you know the child that we all have seen pictures lifted over the fence in kabul and given to
00:15:41.180 american soldiers has been lost by the united states government we lost their child we lost their child
00:15:51.500 now we have said over the weekend we're going to do everything we can to find them oh
00:15:58.620 okay all right so the child might be in afghanistan uh but most likely it's at one of six different
00:16:07.340 countries i'm sure you're not going to have a problem finding the infant you lost your child
00:16:17.500 by the way the mandate is not really now a mandate the president has flown 70 secret flights into florida
00:16:27.180 inflation has grown between 50 and 200 percent in the last year because on food prices
00:16:38.620 gas prices are going to go through the roof
00:16:40.860 that was the weekend
00:16:54.140 that was the weekend
00:16:56.940 the good news is this is all coming undone
00:17:00.780 it's coming undone quickly oh by the way they passed the uh reconciliation bill
00:17:07.180 so they passed the last stimulus package it's important to understand why omar
00:17:15.740 and her people didn't vote for the bill there's two reasons one because there's a lot of weasel
00:17:23.420 republicans in congress that allowed them to do it how do these people survive in a primary
00:17:34.140 these people need to be out next election and we'll give you the list
00:17:41.100 but there's a bigger reason why they didn't vote for it and it should tell you everything you know
00:17:47.980 and it ties all of these stories together in 60 seconds i'll tell you thanksgiving believe it or not
00:17:55.660 is only a couple of weeks away oh my gosh you believe that oh
00:18:03.820 let me just
00:18:06.860 the food is going to be really good it's going to be really good i i happen to live in a house that
00:18:14.380 you should come to thanksgiving and it's fantastic the first easter i ever went to with my uh with my uh
00:18:22.300 my wife's family my brother-in-law was sitting next to me and i filled up my plate you know that's
00:18:27.260 what you do on easter you fill up your plate and we're sitting down and he grabbed my arm and he
00:18:32.380 leaned over and he said pace yourself you have no idea what's coming and uh that we sat down at one
00:18:41.660 to eat we didn't get up till seven seven so i might have a problem that was easter that was easter
00:18:51.260 that was easter wow yeah yeah you should see christmas and thanksgiving it's crazy anyway anyway
00:18:57.980 if you would like to stay somewhat healthy and not gain some extra weight may i suggest you skip the
00:19:04.620 pie and get a built bar built bar they're just delicious you like coconut cream pie great you like
00:19:12.220 do you like mounds bars or almond joys they are fantastic i love them but built has exactly the
00:19:20.540 same thing except it has like 130 calories it's it's a protein bar but it doesn't taste like it
00:19:26.940 it tastes like a candy bar built.com use the promo code beck15 get 15 off your order
00:19:32.700 promo code beck15 for 15 off now at built.com 10 seconds station id
00:19:51.340 okay so when you look at all of these things you you see that the fbi has gone dark you see the atf is
00:20:00.140 now obtaining uh gun records and digitizing them uh and making them permanent now the irs
00:20:07.500 is uh spying the mandate that's not really a mandate but is a mandate the payoff
00:20:15.820 to people who came across the border from biden because you lost your child
00:20:20.460 the 70 secret flights into florida the inflation um of gasoline prices i'm telling you you're going
00:20:33.020 to be paying five dollars a gallon easy everywhere in the country by the end of this first term
00:20:39.420 uh when you look at all of these stories
00:20:42.220 what do they all have in common they seem separate but they're not so let me tell you
00:20:52.220 uh what happened to the reconciliation bill reconciliation bill passed but none of the
00:20:58.300 you know omars voted for it none of the squad voted for it why
00:21:04.780 why because they said without the build back better uh passage if that bill doesn't pass
00:21:17.980 you have a key but no lock they said they broke up the bills and they broke up all the infrastructure
00:21:27.980 and put half of it in one bill and the other half in the other bill so it's a lock and key so if you
00:21:36.060 just pass the infrastructure bill but not the big build back better bill you can't get everything done
00:21:42.700 that you want
00:21:46.780 i've been telling you for a while they're building it one piece of a at a time been telling you that
00:21:51.580 that's exactly what she just verified over the weekend now how does that tie into all of this
00:22:01.180 because everything is one piece the irs spying on your bank is part of the atf getting all of the
00:22:11.420 information on guns the ability for the fbi to use secret courts to spy on political enemies
00:22:21.020 is also all part of that the secret flights into florida where they're not alerting anyone 70 secret
00:22:30.700 flights into florida these all are tied in to the destruction of america that is their goal make no mistake
00:22:42.220 this is the glenn back program american financing nmls 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org

00:24:12.620 oh welcome to the glenn beck program where did i put that baby oh i remember i gave it to the u.s
00:24:25.740 government to hold i'm sure it's going to be fine uh welcome to the glenn beck program uh my name is
00:24:31.660 glenn beck stuber gear is my executive producer and joining me now is my best friend from all these
00:24:37.580 many years pat gray hello pat hello glenn i'm so excited to be here today are you i am i am it was
00:24:45.340 it's it's hard to know what to start with it is i mean i did find her diary underneath the tree
00:24:52.780 and uh and i started reading about me but you found out it wasn't you but then it wasn't me in this case
00:24:59.580 it is him uh so that's going to be interesting to follow well nobody will cover it yeah nobody will
00:25:06.300 cover it nobody nobody will cover it see it's incredible the the work that project veritas
00:25:11.500 does and sometimes it's pretty staggering pretty stunning oh yeah revelations like this one and
00:25:18.300 then no nobody picks it up nobody picks it up if if project veritas were on the uh left they won
00:25:25.900 pulitzer every year oh yeah every year no question they well in this case though they didn't even run
00:25:31.180 the story they didn't run the story so they couldn't get credit for it they now the accusation
00:25:36.220 and it's not a clear accusation by mainstream media but the accusation is that before they
00:25:43.180 turned it over to law enforcement they leaked it to another conservative site that did you mean like
00:25:49.340 buzzfeed oh no wait no that's not conservatives no that would be totally okay if it was if it was
00:25:55.260 buzzfeed yeah um now they don't specifically say that but that's the tone of the reporting okay but
00:26:00.620 the um why why is the fbi involved in finding a diary yeah if you're if your daughter's diary is
00:26:08.460 missing i don't think the fbi i'm not the fbi isn't even about anybody anybody that i know doesn't say
00:26:14.300 did you call the fbi my daughter loses her stuff all the time can i call the fbi i mean what's in there
00:26:20.540 other than really damning stuff yeah i mean i guess the i guess in theory you could say right
00:26:28.540 it was right before an election and it was a you know someone trying to manipulate a federal election
00:26:33.820 is that their justification for this i mean i don't i don't see what the huh i mean it's a stretch but i
00:26:38.940 don't know what else is it now what is it now i mean they're trying to affect a federal election
00:26:46.060 really like that hasn't that hasn't been done i mean that that's the i mean you want to talk
00:26:51.980 about the pot calling the kettle black oh my gosh oh yeah i'm not saying these are good arguments i'm
00:26:57.180 trying to come up with some justification as to how this could even be related to the fbi i mean like
00:27:02.700 you know someone steals something even if again that's not what we believe happened it was in theory
00:27:08.540 left behind in a room that she was in and it does sort of confirm the existence of the diary it sure
00:27:14.540 does ashley biden's diary doesn't it you're not sending the fbi in if it has there's no validity
00:27:20.940 to the story right that doesn't necessarily confirm the contents of it no of course not
00:27:25.900 no but it does lead you to believe that those the content is probably accurate yeah if it's filled with
00:27:32.300 recipes i don't think the fbi is going after the white house isn't going for anything unless the
00:27:38.140 recipes are delicious yeah it's true okay maybe they stole the colonel's secret recipe so here's what's in
00:27:43.340 there here's what jonathan turley said over the weekend what was the context for the diary's loss
00:27:49.020 did ashley biden leave her diary in a room or was it stolen two what is the alleged federal crime
00:27:56.220 and what is the precedent for a major federal investigation over the alleged theft of a diary
00:28:03.500 what precautions were taken by the biden administration in light of the claimed media
00:28:08.300 status of the targeted individuals why was there a delay in this action being taken if the alleged
00:28:14.060 theft occurred a year ago has this been under investigation for a year and did the white house
00:28:20.060 request the intervention of the fbi listen what he says regardless of how one feels about project veritas
00:28:27.020 there should be calls from media outlets for some answers on these basic questions likewise congress
00:28:32.620 should be seeking answers as part of its oversight responsibility neither one of those will happen
00:28:38.220 neither one of those will happen this is a grand abuse of power and it just shows again where the fbi
00:28:48.300 uh stands and this is this is them so you know going after journalists that didn't publish the story
00:28:57.100 and gave the diary they say to law enforcement it also kind of gives you an idea maybe of why ashley
00:29:08.220 biden is sort of the forgotten the ignored the hidden biden nobody he never talks about her you
00:29:14.220 ever hear about it i couldn't have picked her out of a lineup before the story broke i have no idea what
00:29:19.020 she looks like uh and you never hear from her you never hear him talk of her it's always beau and hunter
00:29:25.820 that he speaks of entries in the diary include the author revealing she believes she was sexually
00:29:31.260 molested as a child and shared quote probably not appropriate showers with my dad
00:29:40.540 some of the detail uh the authors uh drug use the crumbling marriage with multiple affairs along with
00:29:48.300 entries showing the family fears of a potential scandal due to her brother's new home
00:29:53.500 home and uh those show a deep resentment for her father due to his money control and emotional
00:30:00.620 manipulation can you imagine if that was trump if i mean that's what they say the trump children were
00:30:10.620 all these they they're just in it for the money and they're just being manipulated and he's manipulating
00:30:16.700 them and they're all manipulating everything that's exactly what's going on here and you have it in the
00:30:23.340 writings of hunter biden and now we're not supposed to believe a diary that came out a year ago
00:30:30.540 um that the federal government is now breaking down doors in the middle of the night to gather anything
00:30:37.660 about the diary wow i mean again this is the failed state this is the action of a failed state this is
00:30:48.860 a banana republic did you hear about flying the 70 planes into florida in the middle of the night
00:30:55.980 i don't think so yeah it was found out this weekend that biden has been flying 70 70 planes full of
00:31:05.900 people from the border into florida without any authorities in florida being uh let known that it was
00:31:12.940 happening they're just dumping these people into florida wow
00:31:19.660 i mean are they paying them the 450 000 each as well i hope so i do too i hope they got a nice place
00:31:28.380 can we play that again if you if you happen to be watching us take a minute and really watch his face
00:31:34.300 because it's worse when you see it than when you hear it it is yeah this is a very unstable moment
00:31:41.340 watch this you said last week uh that this report about uh migrant families at the border getting
00:31:47.420 payments uh was garbage no i didn't say that let's get it straight you said everybody coming across the
00:31:54.380 border gets five hundred four hundred fifty thousand dollars so the number was what you
00:31:58.460 have a number of dollars okay now here's the thing sure if in fact because of the the outrageous
00:32:05.180 behavior of the last administration oh jeez you coming across the border whether it was legal or illegal
00:32:10.060 and you lost your child you lost your child he's gone you deserve some kind of compensation no matter
00:32:18.460 what what that will be i have no idea that is a terrifying yeah he goes zero to homicidal yes one
00:32:26.700 second yes it's disturbing it's really disturbing really disturbing i don't know if he's off his
00:32:33.820 medication or if there's a medication with a side effect that makes you a little bit because that's
00:32:38.700 what it seems like yeah i mean it seems like either either you are not in control of your emotions or
00:32:45.340 you're on some medicine that does the same thing yeah makes you really irritable how unsightly is
00:32:52.060 that for the president of the united states to show that kind of anger that uh that kind of emotion
00:32:58.940 just for no apparent reason lost your child lost your child wow and well and i don't think it's because
00:33:07.180 of no reason right he's pissed off he got caught yeah it's not pissed off about the child being lost
00:33:12.780 that's not anger because he's upset oh gosh these child these children were lost he's pissed off
00:33:17.180 because he was he was embarrassed he came out and he tried to deny it and then got caught his own
00:33:22.780 administration had to admit that they were that they were doing this and now he's down to well it
00:33:27.500 wasn't 450 000 it was 449.5 can i can say it's a ridiculous for a third explanation for this yes i think
00:33:35.500 that they all buy into this crap i think he absolutely buys into all of this and he sees
00:33:43.900 he no one around him he's not exposed to anyone in his life that is disagreeing with what they're
00:33:52.780 saying and so they're all sitting in a room and nobody says what about the kids that were separated
00:33:58.620 separated for from uh obama or the ones that you have separated now or what about the reason they
00:34:07.580 were separated was because they couldn't prove that that was their parent or a relative yes and so they
00:34:15.340 were held until a relative could show up and the relative took them but we did we were trying to
00:34:22.540 protect the child because it might have been a sex trafficker okay nobody is saying that to them
00:34:30.300 and so they're sitting in a room and they get more and more angry because everybody's pouring fuel on
00:34:37.340 exactly the same fire nobody's there saying well wait a minute hold it just a second that doesn't make
00:34:43.340 any sense they're all just saying and they lost their child there are people around him that know
00:34:49.660 that's bull crap why deny it initially then if you if you're if you're i think he thought he could
00:34:54.700 get away with the number thing i think you were right i think you were right it's amazing he just
00:34:59.260 thought because i mean why hide it if you're that viscerally you know in favor of these people
00:35:04.780 getting paid because i think i think he just realizes the politics of it basically i think he
00:35:10.780 well i i don't know i don't know maybe i was gonna say i think he knows the situation that
00:35:15.420 they're in but i don't think so i mean look at what they've done in the last week they had they
00:35:21.500 had the election six days ago and got their heads handed to them and in those days since then they
00:35:30.940 have passed the mandate uh they have uh full speed ahead full speed ahead they've done this
00:35:38.140 they've uh passed the not the reconciliation bill but the infrastructure bill they just passed it over the
00:35:43.740 weekend and they're gonna pass the other one too do you think so i do yeah i think they will they can't
00:35:50.380 the house is out this week but i'll bet you next week they're right back on it bet they do if if i'm
00:35:57.420 telling you you should call your congressman and tell them if they if they vote for any spending bill
00:36:07.980 infrastructure anything if they vote for any of these bills you have a very long memory and you will
00:36:17.980 work to overturn their seat and give it to somebody who will stand against this i i think this is a
00:36:26.380 really dangerous place for the uh uh the republic to be in and i don't mean i don't mean violence i just
00:36:34.300 mean they have completely detached you know they have the the um federal court put a stay on the
00:36:42.380 mandate i'll bet you they don't care i bet you they just keep going yeah that's my guess too
00:36:49.100 wait with i mean what law restrains these people it doesn't seem like there's a law that will restrain
00:36:55.980 them and uh i think given you know four hundred thousand dollars to people who came across our border
00:37:02.220 listen to what he just said if you came over the border and you lost your child you get a payout
00:37:10.740 a hundred thousand two hundred and fifty you know what 250 000 means to somebody who is living in
00:37:16.140 poverty uh in mexico or guatemala changes their life changes their life you're not going to file
00:37:23.900 of course you are you're not going to come for the lottery you but maybe you win this is a nightmare
00:37:31.580 nightmare a nightmare and think about it with the shoe on the other foot americans sneaking into
00:37:35.840 mexico or guatemala and then demanding a payment once you're caught and you've been inconvenienced
00:37:42.340 at the border unbelievable now i want to be made a rich person i want a million dollars for my family
00:37:47.020 which is the payout that you could get for per family that's it's it's unthinkable it is we are
00:37:53.340 approaching uh some sort of a line where the american people are going to stand i think uh republican
00:38:00.900 independent and some democrat are going to start standing up and going nope no more no more i mean
00:38:08.380 the bubba effect is not going to happen just in one community i think the bubba effect is going to
00:38:14.060 happen uh in in a lot of this country a lot of this country where people will just stand up and say
00:38:21.120 i'm not going to comply i won't do it i won't do it you're out of control you're giving people who
00:38:26.680 come across our border money and you're not you're not helping any of us you're putting me out of
00:38:31.900 business no thank you i want no part of it here's something fun to think about surveillance apps known
00:38:41.580 as stalkerware can collect information from you while avoiding detection by pretending to be something else
00:38:47.600 it's almost like this government can pretend to be something that it's not uh you know and then
00:38:54.240 they get elected anyway um detection um uh detection is really hard to uh to secure you you just
00:39:03.700 it sits silently in the background and it's just collecting all of the data's like recording calls
00:39:09.920 keystrokes stealing your photos sending all the information to however spying on you
00:39:15.580 yeah yeah kind of like what the fbi is doing to parent anyway a lifelock will help you detect a

00:41:28.780 got a fitness room in the house you know has the echelon bike in it and she loves it she loves it so
00:41:34.940 much so that when she's gone i don't want to ride it and i mean when she's there i don't want to ride

00:42:19.320 what you are about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment
00:42:46.380 oh thank goodness uh we are here living in a world where marty walsh could be our secretary of
00:43:04.380 labor you know marty he uh he's the guy that you elected to you know impact your job and uh remember
00:43:12.140 when we were debating gee who's who are you voting for for the secretary of labor the guy who can run
00:43:18.000 osha and make all these mandates okay i remember those days like they never happened how many shows
00:43:24.340 did we do on marty walsh none uh marty comes out this weekend and he says hey i want all this stuff
00:43:30.920 about this mandate it's not a mandate i wish it was a mandate but this is just you know uh a mandate
00:43:40.520 that you would have to get tested and wear a mask uh but not a vaccine mandate oh and by the way it's
00:43:47.680 going to come here shortly for uh companies that have less than a hundred employees he said this
00:43:53.760 isn't a mandate this is a vaccine or testing and i think that's something that a lot of people who are
00:44:02.140 anti-vaccine and saying they don't want it i want you to take a deep breath and hear what i'm saying
00:44:08.400 here because i think it's really important to understand it's about keeping people safe including
00:44:14.720 people who don't want to get vaccinated to make sure that everyone's safe so little people of the
00:44:22.060 world hear me breathe deeply i'm going to quote him i want you to take a deep breath and listen to
00:44:27.940 what marty is saying because after all you elected marty well you would have elected marty i'm sure had we
00:44:36.960 had that debate and the election so he just is control of of labor you know and your job and uh the
00:44:46.760 mandates and osha but other than that he has almost no effect on you whatsoever ken paxton is next
00:44:54.900 the glenn beck program still contemplating a mortgage refi it's a smart move for a lot of
00:45:05.260 homeowners because interest rates still are very low the holidays are around the corner there's no
00:45:11.000 better time to make uh greater monthly savings happen than right now call american financing it's
00:45:17.280 america's home for home loans take advantage of a free mortgage review and let their salary-based
00:45:22.540 mortgage consultants tell you about the ways they can save you up to a thousand dollars a month
00:45:26.520 you can get out from underneath those really expensive high interest rate credit cards if you uh
00:45:33.240 if you refi sometimes you'll get a couple of months rent for i mean mortgage free as it's as
00:45:38.480 it's processing i mean that could help take you through the holidays even get out of your interest
00:45:44.740 rates that are above three definitely four get out of those american financing 800-906-2440
00:45:55.040 800-906-2440 american financing.net american financing nmls 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org
00:46:04.840 so as we told you last week um there were several states that took action against this mandate it the
00:46:17.420 rule applies to just 84.2 million workers and uh and uh another 1.9 private sector according to uh osha
00:46:27.000 but we had texas louisiana mississippi south carolina and utah the ags got together and
00:46:34.560 they uh put together a legal brief and filed it against the bite administration and it won
00:46:42.060 uh over the weekend there is a stay on this order and ken paxton is here to tell us all about it hi ken
00:46:48.640 good morning glenn hope you're doing well thank you very much ken is the attorney general for the
00:46:53.620 great state of texas tell me what happened so as you said it was a it was a pretty well organized
00:47:00.320 deal it's not just are those five states you mentioned but there are other states doing as
00:47:04.380 well we've obviously been talking about this since the day that joe biden uh told us that he was going
00:47:09.300 to do it and it's odd that he told us he was going to do it because a few months earlier he said it
00:47:13.600 would never happen and some government did not have the authority to do it he was right the
00:47:18.520 oh shoot you're breaking i mean that he doesn't he doesn't have the right to do it okay um and they
00:47:25.220 know because the there's just no there's no place for this in the constitution unless you start to
00:47:31.360 twist the idea that osha has complete control over everything in the workforce right that's correct
00:47:40.040 and and not only do they not have the authority but the president doesn't have the constitutional
00:47:43.800 authority to give them that authority i don't i'm not even sure congress would have the authority
00:47:47.880 clearly osha has not been given that authority by congress so they say they have control of
00:47:53.840 everything in a workplace that makes people unsafe i mean osha's osha's you know directive
00:47:59.880 is so broad that you could say that they have the uh the legal authority couldn't you i actually
00:48:08.100 no i think they've been given uh authority over like substances consinogens toxic materials but
00:48:15.700 they've never been given authority to deal with communicable diseases that's the cdc and even the cdc
00:48:21.520 doesn't have the authority to mandate vaccines as a matter of fact this has happened in the past that
00:48:25.800 they were asked to implement at some point in our history a vaccine mandate and they said it was better
00:48:32.840 to do voluntary not not uh mandatory so we have the cdc also making a uh ruling that you know you don't
00:48:43.880 don't worry about it don't worry about paying you know for your uh for your monthly rent uh or your mortgages
00:48:50.960 and the supreme i think it was the supreme court or was it a federal court that said uh no you don't have
00:48:57.600 the authority to do that but the biden administration is still doing it correct
00:49:03.720 did we lose him oh there you are can are you there hey yeah i'm here sorry but yeah you're right
00:49:12.120 about that it was the supreme court that stopped that from staying in place another illegal implementation
00:49:18.500 by by the biden administration so they're they've just continued to do it what gives you any feeling
00:49:25.980 that they're going to listen to the i think it was the fifth circuit court this weekend that said
00:49:30.900 this is federal overreach it is it it has grave constitutional consequences i think is what the
00:49:38.600 judge said what makes you think they're going to stop well look i think if we get a ruling it's one
00:49:45.380 thing for them to to not follow federal immigration law and not proactively do what they're doing but if
00:49:52.600 we have a if we have a stay and ultimately a victory then i think americans will just say look the court
00:49:58.300 has ruled that the president can't force me he never had the authority to force me and now a court
00:50:03.900 has ruled a federal court has ruled that he doesn't have that authority i think it'll it'll give the uh
00:50:09.240 the american people some security and some some confidence that they can ignore this and not worry about it
00:50:14.740 we are increasingly looking like a failed banana republic
00:50:19.960 um we have an administration that is knowingly uh twisting knobs and turning uh levers right now uh and
00:50:32.980 they know they can't get things through congress so they're just doing things through like osha and the cdc
00:50:40.460 and they seem to be ignoring things the fbi is off the rails uh and and it's just the states now that stand in the way
00:50:53.380 are you convinced we have enough states and enough uh momentum to be able to stop
00:51:02.520 to stop this you know i think you know i've talked about this before i know we have i i i see something
00:51:10.320 really good happening among the states it seemed like when joe biden was first elected it was texas
00:51:16.100 and a few other states out fighting this this mandate has motivated almost every republican state
00:51:22.500 uh which half the country to do something about it to fight back and that's really the key to our
00:51:28.080 survival it's got to be texas and the rest of the country saying no we're not going to put up with
00:51:33.300 this because if we let it go we really will be a banana republic we really will have no control over
00:51:39.880 our elected officials and we'll have an out-of-control president who just dictates to us what what he wants
00:51:46.720 us to do let me change the let me change the subject just a just a bit there's a couple of other
00:51:52.900 stories that have come up and and i just like your read on this the fbi rated um project veritas the
00:52:00.320 writers uh of uh some of the news that comes out of project veritas you can like them or hate them
00:52:07.300 but they are doing journalism uh you may not like it but that's what they're doing over a year ago there
00:52:13.960 was a missing biden diary from his uh from his daughter and in it she claims that um uh she was
00:52:24.660 um a sexual assault victim from somebody in her family she talks about having to take showers with
00:52:32.500 her father then they go into the money stuff that sounds very much like hunter biden project veritas
00:52:38.960 never printed these stories uh it was leaked uh to another outlet that did pro uh did do the stories
00:52:47.200 they instead turned that diary over to police because they couldn't verify that it was hers and
00:52:53.080 they just wanted to get it to the hands of the police the fbi a year later broke down the doors
00:53:00.700 on saturday morning of project veritas writers and were searching for anything related to that diary
00:53:07.680 now i don't know what federal crime someone is committing with a a diary even if i if i if i called
00:53:18.720 you can and said hey my daughter left her diary someplace and somebody took it are you going to get the
00:53:26.260 state troopers out to look for my daughter's diary absolutely not this is uh the biden administration
00:53:32.620 using law enforcement the fbi included to do their bidding to do their political bidding
00:53:37.540 and and it's creating a real lack of credibility with federal law enforcement when you see things
00:53:43.420 just like this so you see the fbi being used to investigate parents who dare to speak out at a
00:53:48.620 public school meetings so this is and we certainly saw this during the the trump administration but now
00:53:53.740 the biden administration is perfecting this and using law enforcement to punish people and to go after
00:54:00.160 people that they don't agree with and i think this is another example i know eric o'keefe he's an
00:54:04.460 he's an amazing guy he's done some amazing things and what they're doing here is is is very reminiscent
00:54:10.820 of what would happen in germany to you back in the 30s and what happened in in russia and china
00:54:15.780 it is terrifying are we are our states going to stand against it when it gets i mean when you're
00:54:23.860 breaking down the doors of writers over a diary um that is in question uh i mean the assault on the
00:54:33.500 first amendment in a free press is pretty obvious are our states going to stand you know what i sure
00:54:40.840 hope so we were standing up to the biden administration now but you know i think there's a lot of fear even
00:54:45.420 among republicans like if i stand up they'll come after me and that's the reality of of where we are at
00:54:50.520 now so i think the truth is if we don't stand up now we will see our freedoms eroded we'll see law
00:54:56.440 enforcement used for political purposes more and more which they're already doing and look if they're
00:55:01.360 willing to investigate parents and they're willing to do things like this we can't know where they'll
00:55:06.520 stop and so if we don't think if we don't stop them now if we don't speak out now if all americans
00:55:12.380 don't speak out now we're going to pay the price with more and more of this and it's going to get worse
00:55:16.740 can i ask you one more question i don't know if you've been following the rittenhouse
00:55:20.560 uh trial at all um but the prosecution the prosecution brought a couple of people up
00:55:29.260 uh let's go to uh can we play sought one real quick for him
00:55:34.280 the media's response to youngkins victory is literally not that please sought one of rittenhouse
00:55:42.440 when i turned around rosenbaum was right there in front of my face yelling and screaming and i would
00:55:50.880 said dude back up just chill i don't know what your problem is and he goes you know if i catch you
00:55:57.060 you guys alone tonight i'm gonna kill you and he said that to you correct did he say that to the
00:56:02.960 defendant as well the defendant was there so yes another uh person play sought three please
00:56:10.080 another person for the prosecution said this i kind of caught up to them um i was running a bit
00:56:17.200 faster and so uh at the time initially i was probably 30 feet back when the first when everybody
00:56:23.360 first started running but then by the time i arrived in the lot i was 15 feet and you continue to be
00:56:30.860 behind mr rosenbaum at the time that the defendant shot and killed him correct um i did alter my
00:56:38.240 trajectory a little bit um when i saw mr rittenhouse turn around and saw mr rosenbaum
00:56:43.980 um lunging for the front portion of the rifle lunging for the rifle how did this case make this
00:56:52.420 into a courtroom when that's the prosecution's witnesses you know again it's shocking the abuse
00:57:00.520 right now with with law enforcement with the department of justice with uh just law enforcement
00:57:07.700 in general by the biden administration and either other and other elected officials is scary and it's
00:57:13.220 scary and even in my state where local officials use politics more than the law so the rule of law
00:57:19.520 is becoming a thing of the past and that's why i think it's so critical that we cannot let anything
00:57:25.180 pass whether it's the fbi investigating parents or the fbi investigating eric o'keefe and project
00:57:30.860 veritas if we're not speaking out now i'm telling you i think it could be too late down the road
00:57:35.780 thank you very much anything that the people can do to help uh our ags i would say don't be afraid
00:57:44.360 to speak out at work don't be afraid to speak out in your community we all need to speak out now it's
00:57:50.540 not a time to be timid again it'll be too late if we're not willing to stand up now thank you so
00:57:56.840 much ken paxton the attorney general of the great state of texas let me tell you about rec tech you

00:59:03.780 10 seconds station id
00:59:05.420 you want to talk about the rule of law uh let's play cut five here is george floyd's nephew
00:59:26.160 talking about the jurors in the uh in the case that we were just talking about listen
00:59:34.860 i ain't even gonna name the people that i know that's up in the kenosha i mean in the kenosha
00:59:39.400 trial but there's cameras in there it's definitely cameras up in there and there's definitely people
00:59:43.840 taking pictures of the juries and everything like that we know what's going on so we need the same
00:59:48.140 results man we need the same results justice for dante right so we're talking about the rittenhouse
00:59:55.580 trial and they are now saying he's threatening the jurors there are pictures and we need the same
01:00:02.740 results it's uh seemingly very consistent with our justice system and how it's supposed to work
01:00:10.240 we're doing well here we are doing well um are we winning or are we losing
01:00:17.740 i mean if you you look at the stories today
01:00:25.400 you can say that the system is working in a few places it seems to be working with rittenhouse
01:00:36.480 he's probably not going to get you know he won't get life um he might get you know some of the gun
01:00:44.560 possession things i i don't know but he's not going to get life uh i wouldn't be surprised if he was
01:00:52.860 set free um would you still no yeah not with this prosecution going on no i mean obviously he should
01:01:02.740 be set right free i mean it shouldn't even be as you pointed out even in the it shouldn't even got
01:01:08.560 have gotten to this point i mean it's completely ridiculous the fbi raid the fact that they have to
01:01:15.940 go after his his daughter's diary with the fbi shows they are terrified this is becoming a police
01:01:25.320 state and they are terrified you're not going back to put the fbi back into a good bottle you're just
01:01:32.320 not the fbi is losing all credibility and i think that's a good thing i really do i think we have to
01:01:41.040 we have to come to terms on how far our government institutions have gone off the beaten path
01:01:48.280 to fix them we have to know you need a reboot return to factory settings settings we need a reboot
01:01:56.620 um so i think you know the mandate that mandate is uh it has now been stayed it's i think it's going to
01:02:09.660 be overturned i think so too yeah i'm i every once in a while i catch myself being optimistic about
01:02:15.600 something and i realize i must immediately reverse myself but in this particular instance it's so
01:02:21.160 egregious i just and it's good sign that it's already being stayed so that's a good sign so here's
01:02:28.640 what they're doing because they are losing they are trying to poke at you and they're trying to put
01:02:34.200 holes into the boat that can't be repaired with a sailing ship and that is the 70 secret flights
01:02:41.820 into florida of just in the middle of the night taking them from the border the biden administration
01:02:46.760 has flown 70 airplanes without without notifying the state just dumping them in the middle of the
01:02:55.480 night thousands of people i think it's 36 on each flight so that's you know 2500 people that is crazy
01:03:00.960 that is crazy um and the inflation and i i want to go over some of the inflation with you here in
01:03:08.680 just a second because i'm telling you prepare to pay five dollars a gallon of gasoline and
01:03:16.440 their lies because the mainstream media cannot cover this anymore the lies of just the gas pump
01:03:26.220 is going to make them extraordinarily unpopular by spring and they know it so they need to hurt you
01:03:34.540 in the wallet they need to hurt you in the job and they need to make you feel alone like you're not
01:03:40.680 winning know that you are because more and more people are waking up because it is so clear and
01:03:48.400 obvious justice the administration and the media gone this is the glenbeck program okay instead of
01:03:58.180 having a candy bar or that dessert why not have a nice protein bar instead those are the kinds of
01:04:04.380 things that would have had some of my kids had they said it to me sent to their room you know what i'm
01:04:10.040 saying especially around the holidays dad why not have a protein bar instead go to your room and
01:04:16.080 you've lost all the all of your gifts even the ones i've already given you i'm taking back the
01:04:20.840 things i gave to you two years ago for your birthday go to your room don't ever say that again
01:04:25.760 until i discovered a built bar totally different story it has lots of flavors and they're really great
01:04:33.620 all covered in real chocolate built understands that flavor comes first then you make them healthy
01:04:40.540 if you get the flavor right great now can we make that healthy that's how they do it and if the flavor
01:04:48.320 doesn't retain remain when they made it healthy they start again there's all kinds of different
01:04:55.360 flavors try a box get the assorted box right now at built.com use the promo code beck15

01:05:17.060 this is the glenn beck program
01:05:26.300 so one of the real disturbing stories of the weekend is the the use of the fbi to go in and
01:05:37.920 um and try to scare the project veritas uh writers about this biden diary now this is
01:05:48.100 um ashley biden's diary you know there's no way to verify i mean i guess you could do a handwriting
01:05:56.260 analysis you know this and and find out if that is her handwriting you know but i'm not an expert on this
01:06:02.560 but it reads in reading her diary it reads uh genuine of somebody who is really going through
01:06:11.600 tough times this is a new diary that she started when she was trying to get off of you know alcohol
01:06:17.320 and cocaine and and drugs and she is she talks about going to aa meetings she talks about you know
01:06:25.200 the things in her past um uh and then she talks about the the the troubles that she has had in the
01:06:37.340 past she says i was hyper sexualized at a young age uh what is this due to i was molested i think
01:06:45.760 i can't remember specifics but i do remember trauma i remember not liking the wools axe house
01:06:52.320 don't know what that is but maybe that is something that is not related to to dad because
01:06:59.060 that would be kind of important thing but it goes on i remember somewhat being sexualized with caroling
01:07:05.060 i remember having sex with friends at a young age showers with my dad probably not appropriate
01:07:11.000 and being turned on when i wasn't supposed to be uh hmm uh she hurt herself um after overhearing her
01:07:22.060 parents having sex what make me what made me so attached and this is really weird um because she
01:07:32.460 she i guess punished herself in her private parts after overhearing her parents having sex she's then
01:07:42.580 asking what made me so attached my mother not emotionally available and my father's message
01:07:46.860 was i could get love from men so wow this is this is incredibly depressing and we we don't know obviously
01:07:58.220 we don't know the veracity of of this diary we don't know the legitimacy of it in fact you know we
01:08:03.960 know that um project veritas did not want to print it because they could not confirm the veracity of it but
01:08:10.040 it was released by a separate uh conservative outlet right and so i will tell you this i don't know
01:08:18.680 i don't know if this is hers but uh everything in it re as an alcoholic everything reads like this was
01:08:30.120 written by somebody who was going through this okay um and it seems like with the raid as jonathan turley
01:08:36.680 points out it seems like basically the fbi is confirming that there was a diary stolen we just don't we
01:08:42.560 don't know for sure that this is the information in it though the alleged uh alleged path of how it got
01:08:50.980 to these pages seems to indicate that it is the same diary but we do we can't confirm it completely
01:08:57.220 yeah i mean and there's a lot of good stuff in here as well there's a lot of stuff you know that's
01:09:02.220 positive again the reason i've written a diary like this not with those things in it but i've written
01:09:07.300 a diary like this when you start to go sober you write a lot and um in in it she will go from really
01:09:16.620 dark things to you know uh things like uh you know things like this she's you know prayer please whoever
01:09:25.500 you are um please keep me sober today thanks for keeping me sober um you know then she goes in the
01:09:32.780 big book page 417 acceptance page 86 upon awakening and calm down pray to be okay to love them love
01:09:40.840 yourself help me love me please and it sort of points to the legitimacy of it because there's actually
01:09:45.940 good things in there too correct yeah correct and it's tough because it came out if you don't remember
01:09:51.100 the story i didn't remember it either frankly it was a story that came out right before the election
01:09:56.160 in 2020 and it was only it wasn't even picked up widely by conservative media let alone mainstream
01:10:03.000 media it was not a widely shared story at the time but it did allege these things but it alleged them
01:10:10.340 in a time period where if you're going to release a fake diary from i don't know why you do this but
01:10:17.320 you're going to release a fake diary from one of biden's kids you know you're going to do it a week
01:10:22.140 before the election for max impact and so a lot of those things like the hunter biden laptop get
01:10:27.600 dismissed by people because it just seems like when you would release a dirty trick uh you know we
01:10:34.560 remember and remember dirty tricks do happen ask dan rather right go totally fake documents in the
01:10:42.340 middle of an election cycle that in when it happens to republicans the main anchors of network news pick
01:10:48.940 them up as fact but this gets leaked to you know some some conservative or trump supporting website
01:10:57.340 that had no you know real reach or credibility at least among many even on the conservative side
01:11:04.560 it just didn't get hugely big pickup because people doubted it people were skeptical but lives have
01:11:09.300 changed and you also have to understand the sickness of the biden children and i mean this with
01:11:15.140 with with honestly with no malice towards them obviously something in their family is not a right
01:11:23.700 is not all right i don't know what it is but you don't have the the children that the biden's have that are
01:11:31.260 this addicted to drugs and out of control without something and it could just be the fame it could be
01:11:38.340 it could be nothing that is out of the usual other than you don't have a regular life if your parents
01:11:46.060 are you know the vice president or a senior senator or you know famous and they've had obviously major
01:11:53.280 tragedy in their life uh you know there's other things that can lead you to dark moments but i mean
01:11:58.980 as pat pointed out i think this is off the air but pat when he was in here said i don't think i could
01:12:02.900 have picked her out of a lineup before this weekend correct i mean did you even know there wasn't ashley
01:12:07.840 biden it's like people always make that joke about tiffany trump that she's never really correct but
01:12:13.480 i know exactly what tiffany trump looks like i've seen her a hundred thousand times like ashley biden
01:12:18.560 like honestly like it it's it's it's a fascinating uh it's a fascinating thing because you hear about
01:12:26.320 bow he talks about bow all the time he talks about hunter when when he has to but ashley's really
01:12:32.940 remained out of the spotlight and and you if if some of this stuff is accurate i mean you'd understand
01:12:39.720 why she'd want to be out of the spotlight well she she also talks here um it's sad uh his feelings i
01:12:48.040 produced in another my dad uh owned something on the phone saying that he has the debate uh in a week
01:12:57.320 and now has to worry about you he said owned i guess or i don't know maybe he knows uh what i have been
01:13:07.840 doing um it's the weekend but my feelings of guilt are often overwhelming uh blah blah blah she goes in
01:13:16.180 to talk about how uh her dad has always controlled uh the finances of the family and um that she is
01:13:28.680 um she resents him and so do the other children the way he has been doing the financing she worries
01:13:36.440 about the exposure because one of her brothers bought a house this is sounds exactly like hunter biden's
01:13:44.980 laptop now why is the fbi going in and trying to intimidate press members who have exposed this
01:13:57.920 a year after a year after this went away you leave it alone and nothing happens right
01:14:08.620 sure so either somebody is about to release something uh project veritas or somebody which
01:14:16.940 then what's happening i mean it's also you have to take this into account at this point with what we
01:14:24.780 know about what this administration has done and what their patterns have been over the past few years
01:14:29.840 you have to take into account that it may very well just be an excuse to get to whatever project
01:14:36.100 veritas has you know what i mean going in there and being able to apprehend a bunch of computers and
01:14:42.140 hard drives and files or whatever else they're taking out of there has god only knows what other
01:14:46.860 information about other things that could be there i mean this could just be not an intimidation effort
01:14:52.760 but an information gathering effort to go after a political opponent which you know you mentioned
01:15:00.900 banana republic that is squarely oh this is the path of what we are we we are firmly this weekend um it
01:15:08.880 it's very clear just with all of the news that is broken this weekend it is very clear we live in a banana
01:15:14.960 republic there there is a uh a collusion between intelligence justice and this administration
01:15:26.560 and i think the media as well you notice the media isn't talking about this every single member of
01:15:33.280 the media if they were doing this to oh who i really brian stelter if they were doing this to
01:15:41.920 that seinfeld character who is of absolute no value if they were doing that to him i would be standing
01:15:53.880 up saying what are they doing what are they doing yeah i know the new york post came out and defended
01:16:00.280 uh project veritas and said what is going on here we should all be together hats off to jonathan
01:16:06.180 turley turley who is a i mean he's a cnn guy he i haven't seen him on cnn i doubt they're telling
01:16:12.680 a story he's not getting booked but he is no he's not getting booked this week but he did write about
01:16:16.920 it uh and say this is this is very disturbing very disturbing it's supposed to be disturbing to
01:16:23.080 anybody in the media i know that that when um you know the obama administration went after multiple
01:16:30.220 media members and it wasn't just fox though fox was one of the targets and we were against all of
01:16:34.980 all of it i mean you can't have this this is exact this is in opposition to what our country was built
01:16:40.600 on i mean foundationally this is we're talking first amendment issues here i stood and i stood with
01:16:48.740 i don't know journalists of americans or over america whatever whatever their journalistic thing
01:16:53.920 is and i was asked to sign on to standing up for the rights of press under trump and this is when he
01:17:01.560 was saying at the very beginning the press is an enemy of the people and you know maybe we should
01:17:06.580 regulate them and that was very frightening to me you don't regulate the press it is free and
01:17:13.400 uncumbered uh and so i signed on not for the same reasons that some of the press did because they
01:17:20.000 were only going against trump but i'm consistent i thought it was wrong then i thought it was wrong
01:17:25.880 under obama and this is the worst abuse i have seen i never thought i would live in a country in this
01:17:34.780 country in this country where that kind of thing could go on and nobody says anything
01:17:40.160 no they're saying something now again it's an early it's it's a story that's breaking
01:17:46.460 really recently so who knows what else we'll find out about it but i mean what we know now from the
01:17:52.260 reporting that's out there it is incredibly disturbing very and i don't know maybe the circumstances will
01:17:58.260 change maybe there's something we're supposed to know that we don't but man this is not what's
01:18:02.520 supposed to happen in this country back in just a second this veterans day blinds.com salutes

01:19:14.520 welcome to the glenn beck program thank you i i i i mean i can't let this story it would be wrong of
01:19:32.940 me to let this story go apparently camilla parker bowles everyone's favorite um met with the president
01:19:43.080 at uh in scotland during the global climate change gathering uh and they were talking and uh she said
01:19:52.480 that it was so long and loud it was impossible to ignore and apparently she hasn't stopped talking about
01:20:01.700 it she said uh she was having a conversation with the president and he let out a very
01:20:12.600 long and loud impossible to ignore fart
01:20:16.720 this is actually this is incredibly believable i have no skepticism of the story whatsoever it's just
01:20:26.960 so from the new york post it's so plays into what i believe happens that i can't even be skeptical
01:20:32.820 also the source spoke to the sunday mail uh in london so why was that loud huh they heard it too
01:20:40.740 no uh uh well i you know i don't know but uh i mean maybe that has something to do with the climate
01:20:48.600 agenda you know if we can get him to stop farting uh you know there are a lot of emissions there's a lot
01:20:57.140 of emissions honestly my son has a really bad farting problem always has always has something wrong with
01:21:02.940 he's really appreciative of you announcing this no he's very pleased he's very pleased he would admit
01:21:07.620 it himself i mean i think he is a bioweapon really i do think he's a bioweapon and i don't know what's
01:21:13.820 inside of him but something crawled inside of him and died and uh i would meet in scotland or any place
01:21:20.420 on the earth to be able to control that that's an emissions program you could get i could get on
01:21:26.480 board i'm planting trees at my house just to balance the environment yeah how is that working
01:21:33.040 is it working not not not real well not real well no no you know not letting him live on candy
01:21:40.040 has been helpful helpful um but uh the trees aren't working so i say no to planting more trees
01:21:51.320 in case cop 26 needs to know i'm just saying well i'm sure they're gonna they're going to be very
01:21:58.960 interested in your feedback on their well i think i think i think the prince charles wife
01:22:04.780 main squeeze would agree with me there's no tree that could help in that situation
01:22:11.480 this is the glenn back program hello america buckle up gas prices are going up heating oil
01:22:24.280 when you hear when you hear uh granholm talk about what is the plan from the white house and what is
01:22:32.160 her plan on on relieving the oil price in fact i should probably i mean i i really think we should
01:22:41.460 alert full-fledged duct tape alert your head i've never heard anything like this before
01:22:47.420 from a government official never heard anything like it they just think so little of you that we
01:22:55.020 can't do the math on this one all that and more coming up in 60 seconds
01:23:00.780 the glenn back program okay here is the thing we are not doing our children any favors stew and i
01:23:09.720 were talking about this earlier today um i don't remember how it came up but you said what why is
01:23:15.980 it so much worse now than it was in the 1960s and um it was a long commercial break and he regretted
01:23:24.220 asking that at a long commercial break and i went back to 1800 and i said look if your grandfather
01:23:29.920 was born in 1800 uh and and had you in 1830 he was still alive after the civil war you grew up in the
01:23:41.820 civil war um your grandfather still alive in 1870 he you know he was there the founding fathers he he
01:23:49.320 remembers you know maybe his father was fighting for the american revolution and you don't get out of
01:23:55.800 that cycle until about 1930 so if you're born in 1930 now you're starting to go in the progressive era
01:24:04.660 even 1900 it all just kind of goes away there's no underpinning of anything worthwhile anymore
01:24:12.400 um and we were just riding on the fumes of the past that's all that was happening i mean we grew up
01:24:21.060 with gilligan's island and uh i love lucy and the brady bunch those were all morality plays
01:24:27.100 we had our churches we got nothing now we have nothing you are the last defense you must teach
01:24:37.840 your children things because society is teaching them the exact opposite it is so important that you
01:24:45.680 order the tuttle twins books i am i'm not selling you a product i wish everybody could have it for free
01:24:51.900 it's i really believe in the message of these books they are teaching the truths have you ever heard of
01:24:59.480 ipencil um it's a great story of of how the free market works well they've even broken that down
01:25:06.360 they've taken some of these um classics that honestly you probably haven't read yourself and you should
01:25:14.060 um they've broken it down for kids so you're gonna learn something they're gonna learn something
01:25:22.200 and it's the nature of why a republic works why free markets work our god-given freedoms why they're
01:25:31.320 so important it's the tuttle twins books go to tuttle twins beck.com tuttle twins beck.com get a
01:25:37.820 discount of 35 off all of their workbooks they're thrown in for free keep your kids sane you've got
01:25:44.000 to do the job because no one else in our society is doing it it's you and your kids tuttle twins
01:25:51.080 beck.com tuttle twins beck.com
01:25:53.880 so let me give you a couple of let me give you a couple of things uh
01:26:06.940 fertilizers fertilizer shortages are now starting to uh come out uh and i know i know i mean i've been
01:26:16.800 looking for fertilizer you know especially per ton it uh the liquid nitrogen based fertilizer widely
01:26:25.640 used for growing grain and other grass crops stood at 522 dollars per ton in the fourth week of october
01:26:33.960 the product has now jumped 18 percent over the average from september to reach its highest price in 13 years
01:26:44.080 and that's since the beginning the fertilizer has climbed 26 percent from september to october
01:26:50.980 remember it was 522 per pound or per ton it is now 982 per ton it's up 108 percent over the year why is this
01:27:05.200 important because fertilizers are needed to grow food so this should go to your understanding that
01:27:15.660 food is going to be more expensive last week um we had carol roth on and she was talking about
01:27:22.400 something that i i couldn't verify and she went out and she did verify it that there is even a can
01:27:28.240 shortage so even canned foods are going to be harder to come by it is really a good time to learn how to can
01:27:36.720 for yourself honestly it is a good time to take the time this year maybe that's a christmas thing that
01:27:43.760 you give each other or whatever you know heirloom seeds and and books on how to plant a garden and
01:27:51.440 how to do that if you happen to live in an area where you can um in new york pizza's always been a
01:27:59.380 buck a slice uh and it's a it's kind of a new york thing buck a slice literally the 99 cents a slice
01:28:06.700 is like the name of 4 000 pizza restaurants correct like it's not even it's just the title of the of the
01:28:12.920 correct it's now a dollar 50 in new york at the 99 cent place at the 99 cent place they have to update
01:28:19.720 their sign or they just start charging more they say everything um that they serve and everything that
01:28:25.580 goes into the pizza is up 50 to 200 percent this is inflation then by the way uh they're firing truckers
01:28:36.780 now because of biden uh biden's vaccine mandate oh and 7 200 truckers have failed their drug tests
01:28:44.760 so they can't be out on the road but don't worry about it we're not gonna have a problem in fact
01:28:50.600 joe biden just knows that he is above you he is smarter than you um cut eight here's joe biden over the
01:28:59.160 weekend listen if we were all going out and having lunch together and i said let's ask whoever the
01:29:06.220 whoever's in the next table no matter how what restaurant we're in have them explain the supply
01:29:12.260 chain to us think they'd understand what's what we're talking about they're smart people
01:29:17.720 but supply chain that's a great point wow he makes so many good coherent points he's a good point
01:29:25.340 they're smart people but supply chain wow what a great observation now i know this isn't the supply
01:29:31.900 chain i think you could uh understand me make things in china put on big boat goes across water
01:29:42.940 docks unload put on trucks and trains then ship to store me go out and buy that's the food chain
01:29:52.520 or the supply chain it's not that difficult food chain food chain plant seeds in ground then
01:30:02.260 harvest put in truck deliver to grocery place or canning plant that's it logistically they're all
01:30:13.100 it is a very complicated process but generally speaking i think we all understand but the guy who
01:30:18.780 says uh you don't understand the supply chain then puts a max a mandate out for vaccines that takes
01:30:27.220 tons of truck drivers off then the law the new law that has just been put in 7200 truckers have failed
01:30:36.260 some sort of a drug test for the federal government so now they're off the roads and he comes out and
01:30:41.600 says it's not going to affect the supply chain i don't think you know what the supply chain is
01:30:46.860 uh joe i don't think you do and may i just present one more piece of evidence i don't think you
01:30:53.480 understand any of it he is talking this weekend about shutting down yet another pipeline okay that won't
01:31:04.860 be good me understand gas come from magic pump
01:31:11.140 so we we are now shutting down another we've already done the xl now another pipeline he's
01:31:22.500 talking about closing down we are paying record prices for gas and here is our energy secretary
01:31:31.680 listen to the question and her response i've never heard a response like this from a government
01:31:36.420 official ever listen in sturgis michigan it is two dollars 89 cents a gallon i guess that's better
01:31:44.820 than in california what is the granholm plan to increase oil production in america
01:31:51.960 that is hilarious would that i had the magic wand on this as you know of course uh oil is a global
01:32:02.160 market it is controlled by a cartel that cartel is called opec and they made a decision yesterday
01:32:08.580 that they were not going to increase beyond what they were already planning so people are by the way
01:32:17.200 by the way here she is here she is talking about heating now listen remember she's laughing at this
01:32:23.900 here she is talking about heating listen to this americans in what will likely be a cold winter most of
01:32:29.680 them are expect to pay higher prices for heating their homes yeah uh this is going to happen it will
01:32:36.900 be uh it will be more expensive this year than last year um we are in a slightly beneficial position
01:32:43.380 was certainly relative to europe because their chokehold of natural gas is very significant they're
01:32:48.380 going to pay five times higher but we have the same problem in fuels that the supply chains have which
01:32:54.140 is that the oil and gas companies are not flipping the switch as quickly as the demand requires oh
01:33:01.360 and so that's why the president has been focused on both the immediate term and the long term let us
01:33:06.620 get off of the volatility associated with fossil fuels okay stop for a second stew didn't she say oh i
01:33:13.220 wish i had a magic switch or a magic wand okay yeah she just said that it's not the cartels
01:33:19.040 of opec uh she is now saying that it's the oil companies that aren't flipping the switch so maybe it's the
01:33:27.220 cartels or was it the american companies who was that no this is caused by them
01:33:35.760 that's hilarious oh man oh i wish this government you know knew how to how to you know reverse
01:33:48.640 engineer what they've done in the last nine months
01:33:51.500 oil independence but they can't do that they're being held hostage
01:33:59.140 i can't it's incredible i just can't these guys they they know the truth and if they don't know the
01:34:10.600 truth then they are too damn dumb to run this country because honestly i may not know all the
01:34:18.940 ins and outs of everything with the supply chain me caveman i may not know all of it but i can figure
01:34:27.680 it out pretty damn quickly i don't i don't know all the ins and outs of the border but i can figure
01:34:34.580 this one out pretty quickly i don't know all the ins and outs of inflation but i know when janet
01:34:41.320 yellen said this weekend we're gonna need a hundred trillion dollars to fight climate control i think i
01:34:51.240 know enough to go that might not be good for inflation you don't think i don't think i don't think
01:34:58.900 these people they are either and we should have an investigation into this honestly i mean it
01:35:06.340 they are either absolutely evil and they know exactly what they're doing i would never say that
01:35:14.520 i'm not a cynic or they're just too damn stupid to run this country which one is it which one is it
01:35:25.500 i i put my money down on one but i won't tell you which one that would be unfair
01:35:33.220 all right relief factor relief factor uh has gotten me out of pain nina wrote in she said
01:35:42.100 glenn relief factor did the same thing for me i can now work in my flower garden walk my dog and run up

01:36:25.200 10 seconds station id
01:36:27.040 so we got uh we got great gas prices um we can laugh about what people are going to be paying
01:36:46.840 they'll be paying so much more money uh for heating their home this this winter and i wish i wish i knew
01:36:56.540 of a pipeline that i could not maybe close down but i can't think of one well if you don't want high gas
01:37:03.360 prices just buy a 130 000 tesla that's an easy way around it that is an easy way yeah i never thought
01:37:10.160 of that no gas prices and no electricity bill well i know a lot of people who are right on the edge of
01:37:17.120 thinking i gotta have 135 000 car you gotta have it i have to have it it's uh and it's but i only want
01:37:22.780 to i only want a discount on it and i'll only buy it if it's union made oh yeah that's right yeah it's
01:37:28.780 union made then i know it's extra special for the environment for the environment trees love unions
01:37:35.520 they do so elon musk over the weekend was tweeting that he wants to he was should i he asked should i
01:37:41.900 sell 10 of my stock in tesla which would be tens of billions of dollars right it's something like
01:37:48.420 16 billion dollars or something like that worth of stock and he put it up obviously as any billionaire
01:37:53.620 would as a twitter poll so people could vote on whether he should sell the stock or not well it's
01:37:59.580 all those unrealized gains you know right so he's got he owes 15 million dollar 15 no 15 billion
01:38:06.040 dollars 15 i can't remember i think it's billion billion if they did that 15 billion dollars in in
01:38:11.580 taxes but he doesn't pay taxes he doesn't pay taxes right so we've already learned that yeah
01:38:16.280 it's interesting though because this is obviously not the normal way a ceo acts or a founder of a
01:38:21.840 company acts but people that's why people love elon musk right um and it's interesting because
01:38:26.720 the culture he is providing is incentivizing some interesting behavior and the government
01:38:34.920 is making all of this worse which is not a not a shock and i was thinking about this with crypto
01:38:39.880 first of all because mark cuban tweeted a a poll that came out and said four percent of americans
01:38:46.220 have left their jobs because of crypto gains wow four percent millions of people wish i was one of
01:38:53.220 no no and it he says shockingly it's i think it's 64 of the people who said they left their jobs
01:38:59.920 because of cryptocurrency gains are we're making less than fifty thousand dollars a year okay not good
01:39:06.220 planners well but i i was thinking about this as it relates to the government and what we're doing
01:39:13.820 right now and i think we're creating a really we're creating a combustible formula here
01:39:21.220 so if it's true right people who are making crypto gains are um leaving their job or leaving their
01:39:29.940 job and they're not making a ton of money right they're not these are not like you know millionaires
01:39:33.340 who are leaving their job for this these are people who are making you know average salary or less
01:39:37.520 and of course that's that makes some sense right if you're a millionaire already and you make a hundred
01:39:43.020 thousand dollars in crypto it doesn't change your lifestyle all that much it's a little bit extra
01:39:47.740 savings if you are making twenty five thousand dollars a year well then it is going to make
01:39:52.440 it's going to change your life in a significant way and you see all these like bizarre cryptocurrencies
01:39:58.120 the joke cryptocurrencies uh all going through the roof at a time where people are looking i think at
01:40:06.220 their situation and saying well the government has set a floor here for me right if i'm if i got just
01:40:13.360 a second i have a really bad answer to what i think you're driving to you could stop right now
01:40:20.280 or i could give you the historic uh parallel and i'm telling you now you won't like it okay but go
01:40:27.760 go ahead if you choose okay well quickly then if the floor is there the government's going to take care
01:40:34.020 of your basic needs they're going to be funneling uh money to you here and there for things that you
01:40:39.220 want and supposedly need giveaways all over the place when you get a two thousand dollar uh check
01:40:46.580 from the government a stimulus check are you going to save it are you going to go out and even like
01:40:52.240 old school like go buy an xbox or are you gonna put that two thousand dollars in some dog cryptocurrency
01:40:58.480 that may or may not make you a millionaire tomorrow and eventually it seems like you're incentivizing
01:41:07.380 people to take wild risks with their money and i and the reason why this is connected to tesla
01:41:11.760 obviously he's been very connected to the dog cryptocurrencies but also the same people who
01:41:16.200 talk about buying very crazy cryptocurrencies also talk about buying tesla stock and even elon musk
01:41:23.700 himself has said the tesla stock is too high it's overvalued so the people who are getting some access
01:41:31.620 to money why not buy a lottery ticket when you know the floor which is not that much different from
01:41:37.240 where you are now when you're making 25 000 the floor isn't that far below you and it's already
01:41:42.460 maintained by the government and then you throw a few thousand dollars that you might come into
01:41:48.360 into some lottery ticket and maybe you turn into this person who quits their job and never has to think
01:41:55.840 about working again until that cryptocurrency falls through the floor in two weeks but then what
01:42:01.200 happens to that person are they just a slave to the system right they go back well i mean they go
01:42:06.000 back to having the government handouts they go back they don't lose their home in this situation
01:42:13.240 they don't lose access to the things that they want they might not have a great life but they
01:42:18.000 didn't have one before and they argue well what's the downside here when i know my floor where my floor
01:42:23.820 is i'm already close to that floor anyway why would i invest this in something that might be a long-term
01:42:29.520 gain or even go buy something i want why not take the lottery ticket and that's so you know what's really
01:42:35.220 you know what's really funny is i've said in the past history doesn't just repeat itself it is
01:42:43.260 repeating itself you got about a quarter away into that and i went oh my gosh oh i think i know where
01:42:50.860 he's going with this and uh gosh history has repeated itself i'll give that to you may we return to this
01:42:58.900 yeah uh probably tomorrow um it's not going to make you happy oh no it's not going to make you
01:43:05.520 happy but there's a lesson to be learned because that is a very important thing that you just said
01:43:11.160 and it's why i've been ringing the bell so hard because it's already happened one other time
01:43:18.080 this is the glendack program good thing is whenever i talk to you i know it's not going to make me happy
01:43:23.480 i just know that going in weird because i feel the same exact uh all right uh i'm sure you can guess
01:43:30.900 when it has happened in history um but it has happened at a time when inflation went out of
01:43:37.260 control people lost their minds uh we are at that place and the people who survived last time were the
01:43:46.400 ones who didn't go over the cliff and into insanity they were the ones that were prepared and they knew
01:43:52.440 that the world would return eventually to sane things uh all that is all that glitters is not gold

01:44:43.220 i want you to know you might be getting up today and you might be thinking what the hell have i done
01:44:53.400 with my life i i mean i i i don't really have a future i want you to feel better because i'm
01:45:00.820 going to introduce you to stephen kent
01:45:02.020 uh he is a guy who has focused i believe his entire life on star wars and um i mean knows it
01:45:12.940 knows everything about it everything about it and he has been able to eke out a career
01:45:19.200 uh a good one a good one seems to be doing really well a good one but the american dream is alive yeah
01:45:24.760 you really have i mean you've taken this and you've taken the star wars mythology and and
01:45:33.480 um all of the imagery and you can so easily learn lessons from today and politics and everything else
01:45:43.260 from star wars now you have a new book how the force can fix the world oh yeah we thought the uh it
01:45:49.680 should be how the force could fix america and then i went into one of those editorial meetings with
01:45:53.580 your publisher and they're like but what about the world guys i think this is uh this is shooting a
01:45:59.180 little bit too big right out of the gate but yeah you know everything that we face i think particularly
01:46:04.520 like in the west and american society that we see breaking whether it be sort of democratic norms uh
01:46:10.460 enmity towards our neighbors political polarization these are trends happening all across the world okay so
01:46:15.440 let's take um did you see the uh did you see the woman i think it was on cnn
01:46:22.160 who said uh these these women in virginia they're just disgusting and stupid i'd like to know how
01:46:32.900 can i connect with them and i think by not saying the first part of that question uh is probably the
01:46:40.980 answer uh yeah something like that i i was actually looking at that this morning and it's one of those case
01:46:46.380 points for how when you watch a lot of star wars you see a lot of weird connections that i think
01:46:52.100 other people would not otherwise see this woman amy sent siskind she said i join others in being
01:46:59.580 dismayed and disgusted by these women she's talking about virginia's virginia voters i don't know how to
01:47:05.740 reach non-college educated white women the women i can connect with and influence are college educated
01:47:11.760 white women i'm open to suggestions she says uh well i'm glad you know the the book chapter one
01:47:18.540 deals with star wars and the virtue of humility which is this thing which i think is uh hard to
01:47:23.820 find in today's culture whether it be like facebook serving us up exactly what we want to see all the
01:47:28.700 time twitter echo chambers and us talking to only our own people but then i was actually thinking so
01:47:34.380 what's the star wars analogy here and it actually is star wars episode one the phantom menace
01:47:39.400 everyone's favorite movie yeah oh yeah yeah well received no i mean so there's this great story in
01:47:45.380 there where the planet let me wait let me may i guess no please okay that woman should have never
01:47:52.980 been created is that the lesson that's the lesson i get from episode one ah yes yeah yeah is that it
01:47:59.660 that's the kind of enmity we're trying to wipe away from our society okay no it's it's it's all about
01:48:05.680 the gungans right so the gungans these incredibly annoying fish hybrids that live on the planet of
01:48:11.440 how does queen amidala in that movie repel the trade federation who have invaded that planet in
01:48:18.800 that movie she doesn't go to the gungans and say i know y'all are fish i know you're kind of
01:48:24.140 disgusting and you smell bad but we've all been invaded by these droid armies i really would like
01:48:29.200 your help if you can find time from being uncivil scolds that's not what she does the woman takes
01:48:35.400 a knee and says we beg of your help we respect and the mutual greatness of our societies we need
01:48:42.620 you in this moment that's not a direct quote but wait all right didn't they give birth to jar jar
01:48:48.860 binks they did they did someone who it's easy easy to hold contempt for again the one thing that
01:48:55.600 you learn don't make this episode the subtext of the movie matters a whole lot there's this
01:49:02.300 interesting line when she goes to the gungans for help to get this thing in this moment boss
01:49:07.200 nass the guy who heads up the gungans i'm not going to say anything gungan speak but in the king's
01:49:11.620 english here he says you said no thinking you greater than the gungans i like this maybe we can
01:49:16.940 be friends he only hated the naboo and queen amidala because he thought the naboo thought they were
01:49:22.680 better than them and that was why he was willing to let them die in that movie and be ruled by the
01:49:28.000 droids until she expressed that no we don't think you're great we're greater than you we need your
01:49:32.960 help there's a lesson to be learned in that for all of us when how we are trying to relate to people
01:49:39.160 who we want to join us in coalition and politics it's all about contempt you remember anderson cooper
01:49:46.100 after the january 6 riot you know whatever you want to call it when he mentioned that all the
01:49:52.360 people involved in the capital storming event we're going to be going back to olive garden and
01:49:56.460 the holiday inn with this sort of sneer you know like oh man these normal people going to olive
01:50:02.380 garden the greatest restaurant in america with a white tablecloth that normal people go to to feel
01:50:08.600 like they're having a nice dinner with their families and feel good about themselves i spent the
01:50:13.280 majority of my 20s going to that restaurant because i barely had any money in my bank account and i wanted
01:50:18.420 to take my daughter and my wife to a nice place where someone took our order in a white tablecloth
01:50:22.300 meal olive garden was that place yeah i used to go to all the garden all the time until i married an
01:50:26.600 italian right yeah now she won't even let me look i still ask to go every father's day because i want
01:50:31.520 the infinite bread so can i go back to something you said what was that quote that you said in the king's
01:50:36.440 english could you give that again yeah i mean so so boss nas says to them you said no thinking you
01:50:41.520 so greater than the gungans we still like this maybe we can be friends so my my question is
01:50:47.720 did anyone think you would have a success in life you memorized that
01:50:53.900 i mean there's got to be somebody in your life that went son son there's there's something wrong
01:51:02.580 with me uh i remember when my i remember when i first started the beltway banthas podcast which you
01:51:08.500 both of you have been a guest yeah no you're and it's great it is really good i'm giving you a
01:51:13.160 hard time you're complicit in what has happened to me yeah but i remember i remember my dad uh gave
01:51:18.800 me a pat on the shoulder over dinner he was like son don't let this become a distraction
01:51:22.560 five years five years later it's all i do yeah so here we are but good for you uh sorry dad
01:51:32.080 sorry dad uh so um i i think of the one quote that i remember from i don't know episode one of the
01:51:42.560 first three uh this is the way a republic ends or this is the way freedom dies something like that
01:51:49.760 with thunderous applause correct i think of that all the time what what what do you look at and say
01:51:59.340 this is this is the star wars story happening right now yeah so i mean it has to be popular
01:52:09.320 consent for things that take away your freedoms i i think my sort of waking up moment as a political
01:52:15.820 person was of course the post 9 11 era the patriot act and you know the government being willing to just
01:52:21.920 take everything that can get with the popular consent of the people who want to be safe we all
01:52:26.660 understand that and we're all looking at the pandemic very much the same way this is never
01:52:31.320 going to end they're going to take take take as long as there are people saying please keep us safe
01:52:36.160 we never want to be in harm's way that's real and i love that line a lot but one thing that i also go
01:52:42.680 to is in episode two padme and anakin are having their little date in the field on naboo it's an awful
01:52:48.960 scene like it's it's really fast forwarded through that it's really like one of the one of the worst
01:52:54.360 acted scenes in the movie but it's really important and for this reason anakin and padme are talking
01:52:59.280 about politics and how it should work and she says what kind of system would you like and anakin says
01:53:04.080 i want a system where the politicians sit down and discuss what's in the best interest of the people
01:53:08.360 and then they do it and she says well that's how what we already do but the trouble is people don't
01:53:13.120 agree he says well they should be made to who's going to make them you not me someone wise
01:53:18.600 right there is the totalitarian instinct that a lot of us have a lot of us have little dormant
01:53:26.360 totalitarian tendencies that we say no to because we believe in liberty we believe in it despite the
01:53:33.160 things that we want to control so can you tell me and this is an honest question by the way that's a
01:53:37.760 hundred times more than i took out of that scene just what you just said i i think it's the most
01:53:43.300 important one yeah i remember once you said it i remembered that too i blocked it from my memory
01:53:49.140 because all of those are so bad but um you know this is an honest question yeah how can the people
01:53:57.100 who are writing and filming these damn things not understand the point because they always think it's
01:54:07.580 about the other people out there who don't see the world they do they're always looking at their
01:54:12.900 movies and going yeah we love freedom but those other people don't we have a special knack for
01:54:19.640 putting masks on people that we don't see the world the same as or who we don't agree with
01:54:24.940 and cartoonizing their points of view and in star wars you see this in every single movie bad guys
01:54:32.960 wearing masks and then heroes who have the task of trying to see past them and know that there is a
01:54:38.720 person under there whether it be cute boy kylo ren or darth vader like it is the call of heroes to try
01:54:45.660 to rise to the occasion on that unmask people and treat them like people so what i got from that is
01:54:53.160 that fauci is a sith lord
01:54:55.860 it's hard it is hard not to yeah it is hard not to and it's and it's kind of one of those things it's
01:55:04.540 just like when the guy is given sort of the the mandate to rule keep everybody safe and you just
01:55:10.780 see no inkling of of a possibility that this guy's gonna let it go like it's gonna be the
01:55:16.760 the forever pandemic endemic and what does that mean for the public health establishment that
01:55:22.040 they're always going to be around you saw what they did last year where they got rid of eviction
01:55:25.880 moratoriums the cdc getting involved in housing it's incredibly egregious and we cannot just like sit
01:55:33.500 back and applaud that they're going to do this nobody elected them to do anything like that
01:55:38.340 they're giving away our freedoms step by step eventually we're going to have to accept reasonable
01:55:43.820 risk and get back to life uh the name of the book is uh how the force can fix the world um there is
01:55:53.840 there is one thing that i've always appreciated from you is only one don't push me uh no the the
01:56:03.320 fact that you can take lessons from popular culture because stew and i were talking about this earlier
01:56:10.540 today everything is gone if it wasn't for podcasts and honestly talk radio and up to a point fox news
01:56:20.320 this country would be over because there would be no opposition to any of it there'd be no opposition
01:56:27.100 in the mainstream but we've lost our churches we've lost our schools we've lost many of our organizations
01:56:34.560 the boy scouts are doing you know there's a there's a uh for equity and justice there's now a patch for it
01:56:41.980 so we've lost everything but there are a few stories that still teach truth and star wars is one of them
01:56:50.840 it's four four generations of truth in that story just the longing for freedom and the tension between
01:56:56.800 wanting order right and then wanting to breathe free that's what this story has always been and
01:57:01.660 it's something that i'm encouraged by because even when we know that like the left wing right
01:57:06.620 medals in popular culture they medal in star wars too just like they medal in everything
01:57:10.980 the message has still kind of always been the same yeah which is that if you give away too much
01:57:15.960 you're never going to live free and there's going to be people who rise together to stop it
01:57:20.360 and i think some of the details we get really too hung up on those and star wars is this story
01:57:26.340 that as everything that we share together starts to crumble around us i'm not suggesting we replace
01:57:32.380 the bible but if you if you come at somebody with like bible verses first thing they're not going
01:57:38.720 to be listening to you if they're if they're not a person of faith but why don't you talk to them
01:57:43.160 about the idea i think this is a perfect script i mean this this teaches the scriptures just not
01:57:49.440 in script this this is the message yoda could be jesus i mean you know in many ways he teaches
01:57:57.280 exactly the same things and that that chapter i told you about with like humility and just taking
01:58:02.280 a knee before someone that you need their help yeah the whole chapter ties the phantom menace to
01:58:06.620 matthew 18 the idea that we need to be as children if we are to be true followers of christ
01:58:12.480 and that requires us to be humble and know that we need help from others the name of the book is
01:58:18.560 how the force can fix the world by steven kent it's available everywhere uh i want you to hold
01:58:23.560 on because i have one more question for you but we have to take a quick break uh caring about your
01:58:27.780 dog's health and happiness makes you a good dog owner sometimes being a good dog owner means
01:58:32.560 realizing that your dog isn't getting all the things that he or she needs in the food that you feed them
01:58:36.700 dry kibble food is it has no nutritional value it's sterilized to sit on the shelf forever
01:58:44.560 your dogs eat it because they're they're hungry but if you want to if you want to feed them something
01:58:51.520 other than really honestly twinkies how healthy would your kids be if they lived on that um you
01:58:57.460 can add the minerals and the vitamins and the probiotics and all of the things that have been
01:59:02.420 cooked out of this still feed them the kibble food and i'm telling you i've seen a huge difference
01:59:08.320 in my dog uno you can get a free bag of rough greens right now for your dog to try out just make
01:59:13.080 sure that they love it um if they do eat it and love it as much as uno does then order the full bag
01:59:18.720 and get started and watch your dog change over a couple of months roughgreens.com slash back
01:59:23.460 ruffgreens.com slash back call them today 888-727-BECK this is the glenbeck program
01:59:36.120 uh we have steven kent in uh how the force can fix the world i'd love to have you back you're
01:59:43.100 you're really a fascinating guy um have you seen dune i have seen dune and i finished the book for
01:59:48.500 the first time the week before i went and saw it in theaters and did you have you seen foundation yet
01:59:53.760 i have not seen foundation looks amazing and i subscribe to apple tv just to watch it okay so i
02:00:00.020 i i've seen both of these now uh and all obviously star wars i think dune makes star wars look like a
02:00:08.560 cartoon right right yeah i mean it's i mean it's a very mature long-form story in a very different
02:00:14.860 kind of way it's the difference between watching game of thrones i don't know in an animated series
02:00:19.460 on the middle ages right uh and then i think foundation is even better i mean foundation is isaac
02:00:26.180 asimov so you're i mean i think it's the root the first real sci-fi book isn't it yeah absolutely
02:00:35.520 it has the it has the deepest history and it stars that guy who plays lane price from mad men so i've
02:00:41.340 been i've been dying to watch it is um it's it's amazing how the through lines like i said earlier
02:00:48.360 how did these people not see that they are making the movie and they're the bad guys in real life
02:00:55.220 what's the premise of foundation if you could enlighten me
02:00:58.360 really as the theme music comes up it's that deep it is it is uh quite a quite amazing thank you so
02:01:08.600 much steven for being here the name of the book is how the force can fix the world see you tomorrow
