00:00:00.000 Welcome to the program. I want to talk to you about American Giant. American Giant is a great,
00:00:04.600 great company. They're a company that just doesn't think about what they can do. They think about
00:00:09.760 what they should do, and then they do it. When you buy American clothing, you're investing in
00:00:14.880 American manufacturing and American workers. You're not just buying clothes. In other words,
00:00:19.860 you're investing in our country and in our communities and in fellow Americans. We need
00:00:25.980 to get back that independent spirit of American manufacturing, and American Giant is doing
00:00:30.420 their part. All of their clothing is 100% American. The cotton, the milling, the cutting, the sewing,
00:00:36.140 the ink, everything is American. There's an American Giant in all of us. Go to American-Giant.com
00:00:44.200 slash Glenn. American-Giant.com slash Glenn. Save 20% when you use my name. American-Giant.com
00:00:50.800 slash Glenn. What do you call this little number here, Glenn? It's a pullover.
00:00:54.460 Pullover. Quarter zip. Yeah, it's a... Right? It's that American...
00:00:58.860 It's American-Giant. Yeah. American-Giant.com slash Glenn. It's fantastic. Makes me even look
00:01:04.680 okay. Best pullovers. Okay. They're not magicians.
00:01:24.460 Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Benchman.
00:01:26.460 Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Benchman.
00:01:29.460 Glenn Benchman. Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Benchman program.
00:01:55.120 Hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Benchman program. I am sick and tired of hearing what we
00:02:03.600 cannot do. I'm sorry about this bridge collapse. It's an amazing story. It's an amazing hero story
00:02:10.300 of the cops. Yeah, let's make sure we get rid of those cops. A hero story where they saved, I don't
00:02:16.300 know how many countless lives by, you know, being there and doing exactly the right thing quickly.
00:02:23.620 But I'm really tired of hearing about how long this is going to take us before we survive and how bad
00:02:29.480 it's going to be because it's going to be so long. Let's start there in 60 seconds. Stand by.
00:02:36.280 Let me tell you about our economy. I mean, hindsight can be 20-20 and that's good. Making mistakes and
00:02:42.700 learning from them is, you know, one of the best ways we grow as people. But sometimes foresight is the
00:02:48.040 way to go. That's what I try to do here with you. I try to help you think about what's coming over the
00:02:54.700 horizon, not just understand the news of the day, but what that means for the news of tomorrow. Prepare
00:03:01.280 yourself and your family for economic insanity. We have a guy on a little later who is the is I believe he's the
00:03:09.880 writer of that warning from Canada that came out yesterday. We talked about where he said, you know,
00:03:15.800 the hopelessness of the Canadian future. People are going to riot and start going against their
00:03:23.580 government once they find out what's really coming. That's a little frightening. We're going to talk to
00:03:29.100 him, see exactly what that meant. But I think it's coming here as well. I would really urge you,
00:03:36.880 please, to go to Lear Capital and get their wealth protection guide. Their wealth protection guide,
00:03:43.840 you're not going to sell you anything. They're not going to pressure you on anything. They just want
00:03:48.060 you to have this. You look at it. You've got any money saved in 401ks or IRAs or anything else.
00:03:56.260 Please consider gold or silver, physical gold or silver. Call right now, 800-957-GOLD.
00:04:03.820 They'll credit your account $250 towards your purchase if you decide to buy anything.
00:04:08.720 Just because you're a listener of mine, call 800-957-GOLD. 800-957-GOLD.
00:04:19.100 All right, I want to give you this story that I read today, the immediate upshot for Americans on
00:04:26.200 this bridge collapse. If you're waiting for a new car to come in from overseas, prepare to wait longer.
00:04:31.160 The Port of Baltimore stands as the nation's leading import-export site for cars and light trucks.
00:04:37.740 It's also the leading nexus for sugar and gypsum, which is used in fertilizer, drywall, and plaster.
00:04:45.760 A record 52.3 million tons of foreign cargo was transported through Baltimore just last year.
00:04:52.120 The bustling port is cut off now after the 1.6-mile bridge crumbled and fell into the river early
00:04:59.180 Tuesday, blocking the only shipping lane into the port. The port is one of the busiest in the U.S.
00:05:04.860 and saw a record of 52.1 million tons of foreign cargo transported in 2023.
00:05:11.340 The officials have said the timeline for rebuilding the bridge is, quote, years.
00:05:16.780 We're going to do everything we can to protect those jobs and help those workers, the president said
00:05:20.840 yesterday, the Port of Baltimore creates more than 15,300 jobs, with 140,000 jobs linked to the activity
00:05:30.760 at the port. This is a major disaster and will create significant problems on the East Coast
00:05:38.580 for U.S. importers and exporters. The bridge collapse will mean that for the time being,
00:05:44.320 it will not be possible to get to the container terminals or a range of the other port terminals
00:05:50.620 in Baltimore. The Maryland Secretary of Transportation told reporters Tuesday that vessel traffic in and
00:05:57.140 out of the Port of Baltimore would be suspended until further notice, but noted the port is still
00:06:02.480 open to trucks. So we still have trucks going in. As soon as we clear the bridge, we can get vessels in,
00:06:09.860 but it's going to be a major hassle for over time for cars, etc., etc. An expert on property damage
00:06:18.180 cases in the shipping industry told the New York Post that the collapse will have a major impact
00:06:23.600 on shipping and traffic routes in the East Coast for the foreseeable future. It's not, quote,
00:06:29.900 it's not going to get fixed anytime soon. It's going to take a lot longer than anyone expects.
00:06:37.660 This is going to be a major problem for the Northeast. I'm sick of this. I am absolutely sick
00:06:44.920 to death of all of these stories that say things like that.
00:06:51.260 Have we forgotten who we are? Have we forgotten what we've done?
00:06:56.480 Let me just take you on a little journey here for the American spirit.
00:07:00.260 A spirit so potent and so vibrant that it has scaled towering mountains. Mountains nobody thought
00:07:08.120 they could cross. Constructed marvels of engineering. Have you ever been to the Hoover Dam?
00:07:15.220 We erected buildings that scraped the sky. The skyscraper was invented here.
00:07:21.720 Here we are on the threshold of tomorrow. None of us know what is happening tomorrow. None of us.
00:07:33.000 But I'm getting the impression that we've been so beaten down that
00:07:36.320 that we believe we're not going to make it tomorrow.
00:07:40.780 Can I just remind you of who we come from?
00:07:43.420 Our ancestors, what they did?
00:07:50.220 Our history, if you just look through it briefly, you will see a group of people that never take
00:07:57.660 no for an answer and can do anything.
00:08:02.360 I want to stop just briefly in 1930.
00:08:05.980 The Great Depression had its icy grip on us.
00:08:09.000 It was a time where everybody felt the flickering candle
00:08:14.220 in the vast darkness.
00:08:17.460 It was just barely there.
00:08:20.880 Yet it was in this crucible of adversity
00:08:24.100 that Americans did great things.
00:08:28.200 The Empire State Building rose.
00:08:31.060 It wasn't just a structure of steel and stone,
00:08:34.680 but it was a beacon, a beacon of hope
00:08:38.060 and American resilience and ingenuity.
00:08:41.020 The way that thing was built,
00:08:42.620 nobody had ever seen anything like it before
00:08:44.400 or since.
00:08:46.840 In a record-shattering
00:08:48.480 one year and 45 days,
00:08:51.420 an army of workers,
00:08:54.260 as many as 3,400 men on certain days,
00:08:56.940 they transformed this audacious
00:08:59.160 vision
00:08:59.920 into a cowering reality.
00:09:03.080 The guy who was
00:09:04.680 was funding it knew
00:09:05.820 this thing better come in
00:09:07.780 under budget
00:09:08.500 and we got to get it in here fast
00:09:10.460 or this is just going to destroy all of us.
00:09:15.380 The Empire State Building
00:09:16.760 wasn't constructed.
00:09:18.520 It was conjured into existence
00:09:21.260 with a symphony
00:09:23.160 of clanging metal
00:09:24.460 and roaring machines
00:09:25.820 and quite honestly,
00:09:27.720 the inexhaustible spirit
00:09:29.280 of its builders.
00:09:30.180 the men who were perched
00:09:35.900 on the steel girders
00:09:37.860 that were being flown in
00:09:40.560 by giant cranes
00:09:41.480 and they sat there.
00:09:43.640 There were whispered tales
00:09:44.980 about how they could still feel
00:09:46.300 the warmth
00:09:47.020 of the freshly poured metal
00:09:49.140 beneath them.
00:09:50.320 That beam was still warm
00:09:52.740 even though it was poured
00:09:54.500 in Pittsburgh
00:09:55.540 and then put on a train
00:09:57.820 then put on a boat
00:09:59.420 then put on a truck
00:10:00.940 then hauled up
00:10:02.820 into the air.
00:10:04.280 They could feel the warmth.
00:10:06.680 It was moving that fast.
00:10:08.520 It was
00:10:08.820 a feverish pace
00:10:10.960 of construction.
00:10:12.820 It seemed to defy
00:10:14.660 the laws
00:10:15.420 of time
00:10:16.740 and physics.
00:10:17.440 For a long time
00:10:21.760 it was the tallest building
00:10:22.640 in the world.
00:10:24.240 An architectural achievement.
00:10:27.020 It was also
00:10:27.520 a declaration
00:10:28.080 to the world
00:10:28.600 that America
00:10:29.160 was a land
00:10:30.160 where the impossible
00:10:31.380 became possible.
00:10:35.700 Determination,
00:10:36.420 innovation,
00:10:37.500 a relentless
00:10:38.420 will to succeed.
00:10:43.540 Yeah, that's all
00:10:44.380 dusty history.
00:10:46.340 Why even
00:10:46.920 look at that?
00:10:50.080 Because they're not
00:10:51.220 merely historical
00:10:52.280 footnotes.
00:10:53.760 They are blazing
00:10:55.100 torches
00:10:55.860 illuminating
00:10:57.420 our path
00:10:58.420 forward.
00:10:59.420 They remind us
00:11:00.400 or are supposed
00:11:01.000 to remind us
00:11:02.080 that when we are
00:11:03.440 faced with adversity
00:11:04.480 we don't just
00:11:06.420 endure it
00:11:07.220 we overcome it.
00:11:09.580 We don't wait
00:11:10.380 for history
00:11:10.960 to chart our course
00:11:12.020 we write it
00:11:13.260 with the sweat
00:11:13.900 of our brow
00:11:14.580 and the strength
00:11:15.280 of our backs.
00:11:16.920 that's who we are.
00:11:20.300 Have we forgotten
00:11:21.320 that?
00:11:23.080 It's going to be years.
00:11:24.640 we find ourselves
00:11:30.120 at another
00:11:30.540 crossroads
00:11:31.120 America
00:11:31.620 faced with the
00:11:33.800 challenges
00:11:34.200 that threaten
00:11:34.800 to dim
00:11:35.240 the bright future
00:11:36.120 that we all
00:11:36.640 dream for
00:11:37.420 for our nation
00:11:38.640 and for our
00:11:39.120 children.
00:11:39.520 the spirit
00:11:42.440 the spirit
00:11:42.460 that built
00:11:42.860 the empire
00:11:43.380 state building
00:11:44.120 that laid
00:11:45.320 down miles
00:11:46.240 of railroads
00:11:47.220 that cut
00:11:48.300 through the
00:11:49.240 rocky mountains
00:11:50.120 that sent
00:11:50.820 astronauts
00:11:51.420 to the moon
00:11:52.340 it's still
00:11:54.220 inside of
00:11:55.060 every heart
00:11:55.720 of every
00:11:56.180 American
00:11:56.680 somewhere
00:11:57.620 awaken
00:12:01.380 that spirit
00:12:02.460 scale
00:12:04.240 new mountains
00:12:05.020 it's not
00:12:05.880 just
00:12:06.380 rock
00:12:07.460 and earth
00:12:08.140 scale
00:12:09.380 the mountains
00:12:09.980 of innovation
00:12:10.800 and sustainability
00:12:12.300 and sustainability
00:12:12.320 build
00:12:16.020 not just
00:12:18.040 physical
00:12:18.620 structures
00:12:19.200 but a future
00:12:19.920 that upholds
00:12:20.800 the spirit
00:12:21.280 of adventure
00:12:21.940 and hard work
00:12:23.280 and ingenuity
00:12:24.420 stop tearing
00:12:26.280 everything
00:12:26.880 down
00:12:27.540 and let's
00:12:28.260 start
00:12:28.660 building
00:12:29.480 well
00:12:34.240 we might have
00:12:35.640 another president
00:12:36.420 you know
00:12:37.100 who's out there
00:12:38.280 who could we
00:12:38.900 why are we
00:12:40.180 waiting
00:12:40.560 if this isn't
00:12:45.200 a national
00:12:45.700 emergency
00:12:46.180 I don't know
00:12:46.800 what is
00:12:47.360 and I don't
00:12:47.720 mean the bridge
00:12:48.380 I mean all
00:12:49.000 of it
00:12:49.800 well our
00:12:52.580 government
00:12:52.960 has to
00:12:53.560 lead
00:12:53.960 really
00:12:55.540 really
00:12:56.700 does it
00:12:57.340 maybe that's
00:12:58.800 our problem
00:12:59.420 America is led
00:13:01.360 by its values
00:13:02.460 and its principles
00:13:03.620 that are found
00:13:04.960 in the soul
00:13:05.720 of those who
00:13:06.240 still remember
00:13:06.960 who we are
00:13:07.580 and who we
00:13:08.120 serve
00:13:08.620 Americans
00:13:10.100 led the way
00:13:11.120 the government
00:13:11.780 always follows
00:13:13.180 yeah well
00:13:15.320 we can't act
00:13:16.040 without them
00:13:16.700 bullcrap
00:13:17.760 where are the
00:13:20.500 bridge builders
00:13:21.240 who will stand
00:13:21.920 up today
00:13:22.320 and say
00:13:22.680 I'll get it
00:13:23.440 done
00:13:23.760 soon as that
00:13:27.680 happens
00:13:28.040 you'll see
00:13:28.680 who's leading
00:13:29.380 and who's
00:13:30.880 stalling
00:13:31.460 the government
00:13:32.420 is the one
00:13:32.980 that stalls
00:13:33.660 the engine
00:13:34.200 out
00:13:34.560 to expect
00:13:37.740 more from
00:13:38.300 our leaders
00:13:38.880 is rational
00:13:39.700 but to expect
00:13:41.100 the most
00:13:41.580 from ourselves
00:13:42.420 is essential
00:13:43.820 we are the
00:13:48.300 architects of
00:13:48.980 our destiny
00:13:49.620 we are the
00:13:51.800 builders of
00:13:52.460 our dreams
00:13:53.080 there's a huge
00:13:58.580 task that's
00:13:59.560 right in front
00:14:00.320 of us
00:14:00.700 I still believe
00:14:03.300 we can tackle
00:14:03.980 that
00:14:04.360 we can overcome
00:14:06.480 anything
00:14:07.160 the history of
00:14:13.060 America is a
00:14:14.120 tapestry
00:14:14.960 woven with the
00:14:16.780 threads of
00:14:17.320 bold endeavors
00:14:18.680 monumental
00:14:20.040 achievements
00:14:21.460 blood
00:14:22.740 the blood
00:14:23.560 spilled at the
00:14:24.560 empire state
00:14:25.320 building
00:14:25.640 and every
00:14:26.940 other path
00:14:28.120 to greatness
00:14:28.860 let's harness
00:14:33.200 the potential
00:14:34.140 not for
00:14:35.780 glory
00:14:36.360 not look
00:14:39.320 at us
00:14:39.720 oh we're
00:14:40.060 the best
00:14:40.440 we're the
00:14:40.760 best
00:14:41.140 but because
00:14:42.420 we understood
00:14:43.180 we understand
00:14:44.060 that in the
00:14:44.700 pursuit of a
00:14:45.500 better world
00:14:46.140 action
00:14:47.060 is not just
00:14:48.320 an option
00:14:49.040 it's our
00:14:50.120 duty
00:14:50.700 I often
00:14:57.700 wonder
00:14:58.100 and as I
00:14:58.600 look to the
00:14:59.160 horizon
00:14:59.660 now in
00:15:00.360 today's
00:15:00.760 America
00:15:01.140 is that a
00:15:01.820 sunset
00:15:02.840 or a
00:15:03.620 sunrise
00:15:04.220 it depends
00:15:07.500 on you
00:15:08.820 if Americans
00:15:12.840 rise with
00:15:13.760 the determination
00:15:14.440 that carried
00:15:15.520 our forebears
00:15:16.360 through the
00:15:16.760 trials and
00:15:17.800 tribulations
00:15:18.540 if we
00:15:21.360 build with
00:15:21.920 love and
00:15:22.560 compassion
00:15:23.160 and an
00:15:24.020 unbreakable
00:15:24.740 commitment
00:15:25.280 to the
00:15:25.720 spirit of
00:15:26.240 daring
00:15:26.640 adventure
00:15:27.280 and hard
00:15:27.840 work
00:15:28.160 and
00:15:28.300 ingenuity
00:15:28.820 we
00:15:29.320 restore
00:15:30.040 ourselves
00:15:30.800 and our
00:15:31.340 country
00:15:31.840 in the
00:15:36.560 words of
00:15:36.860 our
00:15:37.000 ancestors
00:15:37.620 that are
00:15:40.480 etched in
00:15:40.940 every American
00:15:41.580 heart
00:15:41.880 somewhere
00:15:42.480 you can
00:15:45.680 do it
00:15:46.120 you can
00:15:47.620 become
00:15:47.940 anything
00:15:48.440 you can
00:15:49.960 do
00:15:50.300 anything
00:15:51.000 that doesn't
00:15:52.660 make it
00:15:52.980 easy
00:15:53.300 it doesn't
00:15:53.700 mean you
00:15:54.060 deserve
00:15:54.500 it
00:15:54.800 you can
00:15:56.720 do it
00:15:57.200 because it's
00:15:57.780 hard
00:15:58.300 and it's
00:15:59.740 in doing
00:16:00.440 the hard
00:16:01.120 things that
00:16:01.800 we find
00:16:02.280 the best
00:16:02.800 of ourselves
00:16:03.520 that's why
00:16:04.580 everything that's
00:16:05.260 going on is
00:16:05.860 not necessarily
00:16:06.820 a curse
00:16:07.480 it's an honor
00:16:08.560 to serve it
00:16:09.240 this time
00:16:09.900 because we
00:16:10.860 can find
00:16:11.380 the best
00:16:12.060 of ourself
00:16:12.980 we can
00:16:14.020 step forward
00:16:14.900 into the
00:16:15.540 dawn of a
00:16:16.160 new day
00:16:16.620 with our
00:16:16.980 why eyes
00:16:17.740 wide open
00:16:18.920 to all
00:16:19.360 of the
00:16:19.880 problems
00:16:20.520 of the
00:16:21.000 past
00:16:21.440 and the
00:16:22.220 possibilities
00:16:23.000 that are
00:16:23.520 right in
00:16:24.120 front of
00:16:24.520 us
00:16:24.860 but we
00:16:28.180 have to
00:16:28.560 resolve to
00:16:29.360 make those
00:16:30.040 possibilities
00:16:30.760 our reality
00:16:31.900 we
00:16:33.100 are
00:16:34.080 Americans
00:16:35.220 there is
00:16:37.840 nothing we
00:16:38.720 can't achieve
00:16:39.540 when we
00:16:39.960 all stand
00:16:40.740 together
00:16:41.160 united by
00:16:42.340 our dreams
00:16:43.200 and driven
00:16:44.320 by the
00:16:45.240 will
00:16:45.840 to see
00:16:46.700 them
00:16:46.980 fulfilled
00:16:47.620 don't
00:16:54.220 listen to
00:16:54.600 anybody else
00:16:55.320 that tells
00:16:55.720 you
00:16:55.880 differently
00:16:56.420 sponsor this
00:16:58.660 half hour
00:16:59.140 is
00:17:00.640 Jace
00:17:01.140 Medical
00:17:01.540 have you
00:17:02.340 tried to
00:17:02.860 get in to
00:17:03.400 see a
00:17:03.640 doctor
00:17:03.860 lately
00:17:04.240 and I
00:17:04.620 don't
00:17:04.760 just
00:17:05.000 mean for
00:17:05.360 serious
00:17:05.740 issues
00:17:06.040 I mean
00:17:06.380 at all
00:17:07.100 there's a
00:17:08.580 time when
00:17:09.180 doctors made
00:17:09.820 house calls
00:17:10.500 not really
00:17:11.380 how it's
00:17:11.800 done
00:17:12.020 anymore
00:17:12.420 not only
00:17:13.400 is it
00:17:13.600 difficult
00:17:13.920 to get
00:17:14.380 in
00:17:14.840 you drive
00:17:16.000 there
00:17:16.340 you wait
00:17:16.940 around
00:17:17.280 until the
00:17:17.740 doctor is
00:17:18.240 free to
00:17:18.600 see you
00:17:19.060 well this
00:17:19.980 time is
00:17:20.420 very valuable
00:17:21.040 what about
00:17:21.480 my time
00:17:22.020 may I suggest
00:17:24.020 you consider
00:17:24.560 Jace
00:17:25.080 the Jace
00:17:26.160 case is a
00:17:26.720 pack of
00:17:27.060 different
00:17:27.340 antibiotics
00:17:27.920 they can
00:17:28.340 use to
00:17:28.740 treat a
00:17:29.380 host of
00:17:29.740 bacterial
00:17:30.180 illnesses
00:17:30.680 in an
00:17:31.560 emergency
00:17:32.000 this is
00:17:33.260 something that
00:17:33.780 you can
00:17:34.120 keep in
00:17:34.520 your home
00:17:34.960 ready for
00:17:35.500 use in a
00:17:35.960 situation
00:17:36.360 where you
00:17:36.660 otherwise
00:17:36.960 can't get
00:17:37.440 the medication
00:17:37.960 you need
00:17:38.460 and if
00:17:40.020 things in
00:17:40.420 the supply
00:17:40.800 chain get
00:17:41.300 worse
00:17:41.740 let's face
00:17:42.520 it
00:17:42.640 they're
00:17:42.840 probably
00:17:43.140 going to
00:17:43.480 get worse
00:17:43.920 before they
00:17:44.360 get better
00:17:44.800 that's going
00:17:45.720 to be the
00:17:46.000 vast majority
00:17:46.700 of vital
00:17:47.260 medications
00:17:48.420 don't delay
00:17:49.900 you know how
00:17:51.700 hard it is to
00:17:52.420 get things done
00:17:53.060 now imagine
00:17:53.940 if there's
00:17:54.780 imagine when
00:17:56.380 there's an
00:17:56.900 emergency

00:18:24.920 Glenn Beck
00:18:25.380 program how
00:18:25.860 are you still
00:18:26.440 i'm doing
00:18:27.360 pretty well
00:18:27.840 Glenn and i
00:18:28.520 think that was
00:18:28.880 a an interesting
00:18:30.460 rundown of
00:18:31.900 what american
00:18:33.140 ingenuity should
00:18:34.080 be you know
00:18:35.360 what what our
00:18:36.020 country used to
00:18:36.780 be but can i
00:18:37.280 ask a question
00:18:37.900 about what
00:18:39.240 our country
00:18:39.620 is you are
00:18:43.740 gonna take this
00:18:44.540 happy smile off
00:18:45.420 my face you're
00:18:46.120 determined to do
00:18:46.980 it go ahead
00:18:48.020 i i am not
00:18:51.820 say i want to
00:18:52.540 make sure it's
00:18:53.200 i'm clear i am
00:18:53.860 not saying not
00:18:55.700 saying that
00:18:57.300 pete buddha
00:18:58.640 judge is going
00:18:59.320 around the
00:18:59.720 country sabotaging
00:19:00.860 all of our
00:19:01.500 infrastructure i'm
00:19:02.500 not saying that
00:19:03.460 i'm definitely
00:19:04.480 not claiming
00:19:06.220 that is what
00:19:07.020 is going on
00:19:07.680 but what
00:19:10.660 other explanation
00:19:11.760 is there
00:19:12.640 like if you
00:19:14.480 he's not
00:19:15.040 sabotaging
00:19:15.660 incompetence
00:19:16.840 total and
00:19:18.240 complete
00:19:18.820 incompetence
00:19:19.940 is it
00:19:20.600 where is this
00:19:21.360 guy
00:19:21.740 i don't know
00:19:23.460 but i think
00:19:24.040 the question
00:19:24.520 should we
00:19:24.880 we should be
00:19:25.500 asking is how
00:19:26.280 do we get
00:19:26.800 him to go
00:19:27.260 back on
00:19:27.900 paternity
00:19:28.380 leave
00:19:28.720 ever since
00:19:29.800 this guy
00:19:30.200 got this
00:19:30.640 job
00:19:31.100 it's been
00:19:31.860 non-stop
00:19:33.040 transportation
00:19:34.240 catastrophes
00:19:35.280 this guy
00:19:36.800 has been
00:19:37.160 he's overseen
00:19:38.380 every single
00:19:39.620 part of our
00:19:40.920 infrastructure
00:19:41.920 just fall
00:19:43.760 apart in
00:19:44.300 front of our
00:19:44.620 eyes and
00:19:45.900 he's the only
00:19:46.640 thing tying it
00:19:47.340 all together
00:19:47.720 i mean is it
00:19:48.780 possible he's
00:19:50.500 going around
00:19:51.480 disabling power
00:19:53.040 structures of
00:19:54.680 boats he's not
00:19:56.060 is it possible
00:19:56.980 he's derailing
00:19:58.520 trains intentionally
00:20:00.200 in the middle
00:20:02.200 of the night
00:20:02.720 i mean we
00:20:03.100 have to at
00:20:03.780 least open up
00:20:04.560 the possibility
00:20:05.400 at this point
00:20:06.260 that this is
00:20:06.660 what's going
00:20:07.040 on
00:20:07.200 no you
00:20:07.640 don't here's
00:20:08.240 why you
00:20:08.600 don't because
00:20:09.680 the criminal
00:20:10.360 always returns
00:20:11.560 to the scene
00:20:12.220 of the crime
00:20:12.800 and that guy
00:20:13.640 never shows
00:20:14.440 up
00:20:14.860 i mean
00:20:17.580 boeing is an
00:20:19.220 institution in
00:20:20.660 this country
00:20:21.260 i know
00:20:21.740 pete
00:20:22.360 buddichard gets
00:20:23.020 this job and
00:20:23.720 just doors are
00:20:24.700 flying off
00:20:25.700 what is going
00:20:28.700 on
00:20:29.200 what
00:20:30.120 something
00:20:31.020 i don't
00:20:31.660 i mean
00:20:32.200 i don't
00:20:32.580 want
00:20:32.800 i
00:20:33.320 yesterday
00:20:34.400 i read a
00:20:35.040 lot of
00:20:35.760 theories
00:20:36.240 and
00:20:37.480 some of
00:20:38.480 them
00:20:38.740 harebrained
00:20:40.400 none of
00:20:41.920 them really
00:20:42.480 helpful at
00:20:43.320 this point
00:20:43.960 we have
00:20:44.680 no idea
00:20:45.480 we have
00:20:45.980 no idea
00:20:46.800 but again
00:20:47.980 it is
00:20:48.660 coincidental
00:20:49.580 and i mean
00:20:50.060 that it is
00:20:50.720 just at this
00:20:51.560 point coincidental
00:20:52.520 that
00:20:53.540 the two
00:20:54.900 companies that
00:20:55.560 have gone
00:20:55.920 all dei
00:20:57.080 boeing
00:20:58.880 you know
00:21:00.180 let's
00:21:00.660 let's fire
00:21:01.980 all the
00:21:02.420 engineers
00:21:02.880 and put
00:21:03.340 bean counters
00:21:04.200 and dei
00:21:05.080 people in
00:21:05.740 and united
00:21:07.560 airlines
00:21:08.240 let's have
00:21:10.640 you know
00:21:11.000 let's have
00:21:11.500 our ceo
00:21:12.580 care about
00:21:13.580 drag shows
00:21:14.680 and dress
00:21:15.580 in drag
00:21:16.580 well how
00:21:18.300 about making
00:21:19.180 sure that the
00:21:19.780 plane is there
00:21:20.960 with all of
00:21:21.520 its wheels
00:21:22.140 could we
00:21:22.900 could we
00:21:23.280 do that
00:21:23.760 uh and
00:21:25.160 now this
00:21:25.700 ship this
00:21:26.180 is another
00:21:26.620 ship that
00:21:27.360 is this
00:21:28.360 company is
00:21:29.120 big on
00:21:29.600 dei
00:21:30.140 i don't
00:21:31.440 know i
00:21:32.100 mean maybe
00:21:32.660 everybody's
00:21:33.400 dei so
00:21:34.200 that's not a
00:21:34.980 coincidence
00:21:35.400 anymore maybe
00:21:36.160 everybody except
00:21:37.360 us you know
00:21:39.340 maybe that's
00:21:40.000 why uh
00:21:41.520 you know it
00:21:42.240 looks like
00:21:42.920 that but i
00:21:44.480 don't know i
00:21:45.480 don't know i
00:21:45.900 think there's a
00:21:46.460 lot to look
00:21:47.420 at but the
00:21:47.900 most important
00:21:48.500 thing i think
00:21:49.300 we can do
00:21:49.880 is
00:21:50.280 find the
00:21:54.160 people who
00:21:55.080 can build
00:21:55.760 this bridge
00:21:56.720 in the time
00:21:58.540 that the that
00:21:59.780 it took to
00:22:00.700 build the
00:22:01.060 empire state
00:22:01.660 building are
00:22:02.100 you telling
00:22:02.520 me a bridge
00:22:03.880 is tougher
00:22:05.460 do you know
00:22:06.120 that halfway
00:22:07.440 up they were
00:22:08.520 still building
00:22:09.620 the steel
00:22:10.440 structure and
00:22:11.840 in the bottom
00:22:12.380 10 floors even
00:22:13.980 the bathrooms
00:22:14.820 they were all
00:22:15.600 tiled and
00:22:16.260 working before
00:22:18.020 the building was
00:22:19.100 even complete
00:22:20.000 in the steel
00:22:21.080 structure you
00:22:22.840 cannot tell me
00:22:24.160 that we can't
00:22:25.400 move mountains
00:22:26.140 to get this i'll
00:22:27.060 tell you this if
00:22:28.080 ronda santis was
00:22:29.180 president that's
00:22:30.620 the kind of talk
00:22:31.400 we would be
00:22:31.880 having right now
00:22:33.080 not a hell it's
00:22:34.380 gonna be a long
00:22:35.240 time i mean i'll
00:22:36.600 be long dead
00:22:37.920 long probably 20
00:22:40.060 years dead before
00:22:41.240 that ports ever
00:22:42.200 open again
00:22:43.000 stand up
00:22:44.340 glenn beck
00:22:46.580 all right
00:22:49.660 our sponsor this
00:22:51.220 half hour hour
00:22:51.980 is uh
00:22:52.800 good ranchers
00:22:54.180 so i will not
00:22:55.800 not quit eating
00:22:57.480 the meats and
00:22:58.300 start eating
00:22:58.840 the bugs
00:22:59.380 huh
00:22:59.680 that is no
00:23:01.300 problem
00:23:01.760 my friend
00:23:02.420 if we just
00:23:03.880 put something
00:23:04.500 in the meat
00:23:05.520 maybe a little
00:23:06.480 mrna vaccine
00:23:08.980 remember we
00:23:10.820 have ways
00:23:11.440 of making
00:23:11.940 you cooperate
00:23:12.780 i'd really
00:23:16.680 not like
00:23:17.560 to have
00:23:18.320 my cow
00:23:19.780 have the
00:23:21.380 mrna vaccine
00:23:22.980 and then
00:23:24.120 i eat it
00:23:25.020 because i'm
00:23:25.660 not really
00:23:26.320 sure
00:23:26.820 about that
00:23:27.800 whole mrna
00:23:28.620 vaccine
00:23:29.320 now it might
00:23:30.000 turn out to be
00:23:30.600 great but i'd
00:23:31.500 like to at this
00:23:32.120 point say
00:23:32.560 no no
00:23:33.320 not a no
00:23:34.040 not in my
00:23:34.700 not in my
00:23:35.260 meat

00:24:37.180 hello pat
00:24:38.660 hello glenn
00:24:40.000 uh thank you
00:24:40.800 for that
00:24:41.260 very nice
00:24:41.820 introduction
00:24:42.360 that's all
00:24:43.040 true
00:24:43.220 it's all
00:24:43.860 true
00:24:44.120 yeah
00:24:44.760 yeah well
00:24:45.800 that's i'm
00:24:46.240 here to tell
00:24:46.700 the truth
00:24:47.140 so uh
00:24:48.420 the uh
00:24:49.640 the bridge
00:24:50.260 stew has
00:24:51.020 a theory
00:24:51.560 on this uh
00:24:52.860 this baltimore
00:24:53.420 bridge collapse
00:24:54.140 i do not
00:24:55.080 i would not
00:24:55.620 say i have a
00:24:56.360 theory at all
00:24:56.860 i'm just
00:24:57.440 saying
00:24:57.800 look we
00:24:58.780 it wouldn't
00:24:59.300 make any
00:24:59.640 sense for
00:25:00.200 this to be
00:25:00.620 a terrorist
00:25:01.220 attack the
00:25:01.720 way it
00:25:01.920 happened
00:25:02.180 130 in
00:25:02.920 the morning
00:25:03.340 like why
00:25:03.900 would you
00:25:04.200 do it
00:25:04.480 that way
00:25:05.060 maybe you
00:25:06.280 can argue
00:25:06.720 with some
00:25:07.040 sort of test
00:25:07.600 run or
00:25:08.040 something but
00:25:08.460 like i
00:25:08.760 don't know
00:25:09.000 it's a
00:25:09.260 probably just
00:25:09.640 to disrupt
00:25:10.200 our infrastructure
00:25:11.260 but it doesn't
00:25:12.480 seem like it's
00:25:13.060 going to be that
00:25:13.500 serious in that
00:25:14.140 in that i mean
00:25:15.060 like these places
00:25:16.200 are able to
00:25:16.700 it doesn't seem
00:25:18.460 like i mean like
00:25:19.020 all the reporting
00:25:19.760 is that they are
00:25:20.500 able to reroute
00:25:21.220 to other ports
00:25:22.020 the the uh
00:25:23.420 i mean it's
00:25:23.880 going to affect
00:25:24.440 baltimore pretty
00:25:25.180 seriously obviously
00:25:25.920 traffic will be
00:25:26.700 affected but
00:25:27.280 like if you're
00:25:28.380 going for some
00:25:29.040 major terrorist
00:25:29.840 attack first of
00:25:30.840 all 130 in the
00:25:31.580 morning is kind
00:25:32.080 of a weird time
00:25:32.780 for it uh and
00:25:34.240 and you know of
00:25:35.000 course you know
00:25:35.740 the the warnings
00:25:36.940 from the ship and
00:25:37.820 all these other
00:25:38.340 things but beyond
00:25:39.760 that like i'm
00:25:40.860 looking at a
00:25:41.280 bigger the a
00:25:42.320 broader picture
00:25:43.360 here and and
00:25:44.040 i'm not i'm
00:25:44.740 getting i'm not
00:25:45.820 saying this what i
00:25:46.960 what i want you to
00:25:47.720 know pat is i'm
00:25:48.580 not saying this
00:25:49.540 okay i i am
00:25:51.040 what are you not
00:25:52.300 saying i am not
00:25:53.420 saying that pete
00:25:55.220 buddaj edge
00:25:55.860 individually is
00:25:58.280 going to each
00:25:59.240 one of these
00:25:59.760 things and and
00:26:00.580 like unscrewing
00:26:02.080 bowing doors before
00:26:04.060 the plane takes
00:26:04.700 i'm not saying he's
00:26:05.580 doing that right i'm
00:26:06.680 not saying right he's
00:26:08.200 loosening tires off of
00:26:09.760 planes you're not
00:26:11.000 saying i'm not saying
00:26:12.180 that it'll be
00:26:12.620 incredibly impossible
00:26:13.740 right yeah what i am
00:26:14.900 saying is should we
00:26:15.960 check his house to
00:26:17.060 see if he has scuba
00:26:18.200 gear you are saying
00:26:19.240 let's check it out
00:26:20.080 all right why not
00:26:21.340 go into his garage
00:26:23.320 and see maybe he
00:26:24.920 has a couple of
00:26:26.000 you know a couple
00:26:27.220 of uh i don't know
00:26:28.300 rubber suits that
00:26:29.580 he's and that that
00:26:30.340 might be for other
00:26:30.940 use okay like i'm
00:26:31.980 just saying can we
00:26:32.980 at least check we
00:26:34.300 should at least know
00:26:35.180 that hey all right
00:26:35.960 maybe he's got a
00:26:37.080 phillips screwdriver or
00:26:38.300 something yeah right
00:26:39.380 does he have a
00:26:40.140 yes yes it would
00:26:42.300 just be interesting to
00:26:43.600 know it would what
00:26:44.960 type of okay
00:26:46.240 underwater diving gear
00:26:48.220 the man owns like
00:26:49.820 does he happen to
00:26:50.720 have a mini submarine
00:26:51.980 in his garage like
00:26:54.500 that would be
00:26:55.000 something that would
00:26:55.960 be weird first of
00:26:57.720 all first of all as
00:26:59.780 i said they always
00:27:01.580 return to the create
00:27:02.560 of the scene of the
00:27:03.440 crime so he never
00:27:05.480 shows up after one
00:27:06.440 of the he disappears
00:27:07.740 after this yes you
00:27:09.620 know we never hear
00:27:11.240 him talk about
00:27:11.960 anything transportation
00:27:13.100 have you heard him
00:27:14.260 actually you know
00:27:15.400 standing in front of a
00:27:16.560 united airliner going
00:27:17.700 we're going to shut
00:27:18.880 this thing down until
00:27:19.920 we figure out why the
00:27:21.280 united airlines keeps
00:27:23.340 losing doors and
00:27:24.380 wheels and i heard the
00:27:26.200 steering wheel or
00:27:27.100 something the other
00:27:27.820 right why where is he
00:27:31.800 on that so he never
00:27:33.260 shows up at the scene
00:27:34.200 of the crime so that
00:27:35.140 immediately goes it's
00:27:37.140 also way too much work
00:27:38.980 for him okay and he
00:27:41.040 would have to learn
00:27:42.300 things like how to put
00:27:44.440 the mask on which i
00:27:46.260 think is beyond his
00:27:47.540 capability you know how
00:27:49.580 do i the scuba gear the
00:27:51.440 the breather goes where
00:27:53.060 exactly and you don't
00:27:54.600 want to use it after him
00:27:55.780 after he tries it i i'm
00:27:57.380 just saying i don't know
00:27:58.480 i i think look there are
00:28:01.180 a lot of reasons to
00:28:02.720 believe that pete
00:28:03.680 budaj edge isn't
00:28:04.940 responsible for each one
00:28:06.800 of these things it would
00:28:07.900 it would be insane it
00:28:09.580 would be a crazy
00:28:10.840 development yes by by all
00:28:12.660 accounts however like
00:28:14.340 right how else do we
00:28:16.060 explain this like it would
00:28:17.520 be unprecedented the fact
00:28:18.940 if it was our
00:28:19.480 transportation secretary
00:28:20.540 right it would be yes i
00:28:21.600 would agree unprecedented
00:28:22.680 never in history has a
00:28:24.000 transportation secretary
00:28:25.540 doesn't happen
00:28:26.100 sabotaged so much
00:28:27.700 transportation right can we
00:28:30.220 look at the bright side
00:28:31.460 however that would be
00:28:33.520 more than any
00:28:34.480 transportation secretary
00:28:35.940 has done probably in the
00:28:38.280 history of transportation
00:28:39.680 i never know what they
00:28:41.380 do this is a good point
00:28:42.700 who knows the name of
00:28:45.340 any other transportation
00:28:47.240 secretary yet we
00:28:49.380 uh chow yeah chow was one
00:28:52.020 and the other one that i
00:28:52.820 did pop into my head was
00:28:53.860 la hood because back in the
00:28:55.940 day but like not for hey
00:28:57.680 he's screwing up all of our
00:28:59.180 infrastructure it was like
00:29:01.080 oh well he's sort of a
00:29:02.900 notable figure that
00:29:03.600 occasionally comes up in
00:29:04.840 policy conversations this
00:29:07.660 guy has overseen
00:29:09.760 disaster movie sequel after
00:29:12.920 disaster movie sequel since
00:29:14.460 he got this job
00:29:15.280 oh we have american
00:29:17.580 institutions boeing is just
00:29:19.180 like ah we can't keep
00:29:20.560 planes in the air anymore
00:29:21.920 like what why why has all
00:29:25.580 of this happened under his
00:29:27.080 watch it's like he's trying
00:29:28.840 he's like he's michael man
00:29:30.520 what he's a tie to we now
00:29:32.960 have more footage to show in
00:29:35.400 disaster movies because of
00:29:36.920 this guy allegedly i mean i
00:29:39.440 i don't think he is
00:29:41.940 intentionally derailing
00:29:43.400 trains across the country
00:29:44.600 but it is it does seem
00:29:46.500 weird that ever since he
00:29:48.660 got this we should at least
00:29:49.880 look to see if he's got like
00:29:51.160 a wedge you know some tools
00:29:52.940 that would allow him to do
00:29:54.260 it
00:29:54.520 i would say the fact that
00:29:58.000 everything is being derailed
00:30:00.780 would lead me to believe that
00:30:03.380 it's not one man it's probably
00:30:04.720 not it's probably this isn't
00:30:06.200 this is not that unusual the
00:30:09.360 entire the entire country is
00:30:12.240 going into a bridge abutment
00:30:13.660 that's true it would explain why
00:30:15.960 we never see him though because
00:30:17.680 he's always on skulking into one
00:30:20.340 of these places right
00:30:21.480 loosening some right
00:30:22.860 like it's probably
00:30:23.820 it's probably not him
00:30:26.680 loosening bolts it's probably
00:30:27.940 not probably not it's probably
00:30:29.380 not but like wouldn't it be
00:30:30.760 easy to rule it out like
00:30:32.180 shouldn't we at least go look
00:30:33.520 at around just to just you know
00:30:35.000 let's toss that let's toss the
00:30:36.880 individual possibility that
00:30:39.020 pete buddha judge is flying
00:30:40.420 around the country disabling our
00:30:42.120 infrastructure let's just fight
00:30:43.600 let's just rule that one out it's
00:30:45.420 got to be easy to rule out i'd feel
00:30:47.040 a lot better yes you know i
00:30:49.020 would i mean even though i
00:30:50.440 understand it's all his husband
00:30:52.260 and find out what was he in bed
00:30:55.000 with you last night or the night
00:30:57.360 before when this thing hit the
00:30:59.060 bridge abutment just find out let's
00:31:00.620 just find out it's just an easy one
00:31:02.660 to rule out and like until we can
00:31:05.480 rule it out he should go back on
00:31:07.420 paternity leave that's all i'm
00:31:08.700 saying he shouldn't be employed in
00:31:11.660 this job when this is a possibility
00:31:13.240 this is yeah i see what this is
00:31:17.000 you just want him out as the
00:31:19.240 transportation secretary oh wow
00:31:21.800 you are such a bad man oh man look
00:31:25.200 is it homophobia is that what's
00:31:27.380 happening it's definitely not
00:31:29.140 homophobia he can be as absolutely
00:31:31.560 gay as he'd like to be while on
00:31:33.180 paternity leave in fact i'd encourage
00:31:34.800 it it would be almost odd if he
00:31:36.260 wasn't right but like what i'm saying
00:31:39.100 is ever since this guy took this job
00:31:42.300 we have done show after show after
00:31:45.400 show out of about disasters
00:31:47.060 transportation infrastructure collapse
00:31:49.700 why what what is like why not just
00:31:54.220 either he's individually doing it
00:31:57.540 himself or maybe another possibility
00:32:00.220 is everything this man touches gets
00:32:03.300 destroyed like he's ivan drago maybe
00:32:06.880 that's the thing that i have to tell
00:32:09.600 you i i don't even know if he i think
00:32:12.520 this is just this is just uh now four
00:32:16.460 years of absolute incompetence the
00:32:19.480 companies all being uh distracted from
00:32:23.380 what they have to do so they can meet new
00:32:25.340 governmental mandates on bullcrap that
00:32:28.040 mean nothing to any of us and this guy
00:32:31.180 this guy i don't think he knows what his
00:32:33.940 job is i really don't he seems to be
00:32:37.640 terrible at it and whenever he is
00:32:39.900 involved in something tragedies ensue so
00:32:44.000 you know i mean again we we talk about
00:32:45.960 these problems like with the border like
00:32:47.260 i don't know what do you do you got to
00:32:49.020 close you got to make sure you're
00:32:49.980 closing off the border to illegal
00:32:51.000 immigration before you're worried about
00:32:52.460 the immigrants that have already
00:32:53.860 crossed right like got to be stopped
00:32:55.320 the flow there's a leak you got to
00:32:57.480 stop the leak for turn the water off
00:32:59.120 first then fix with this it's like
00:33:01.500 shouldn't we just turn the water off
00:33:03.660 here like get this guy away from this
00:33:05.660 thing first and then we'll figure out
00:33:07.980 some of the other details whatever he's
00:33:10.460 bringing to the table is weighing down
00:33:13.120 the table and the table's collapsing can
00:33:16.100 we do something about this this is the
00:33:19.400 best entertaining conspiracy theory i have
00:33:22.740 heard in the last 24 hours it is i mean
00:33:25.580 this is good this is good i don't think
00:33:28.020 it would be absurd to picture
00:33:31.400 pete buddhage in a scuba outfit i mean
00:33:36.480 like if someone were to photoshop that
00:33:38.340 and put and give it to us in twitter
00:33:39.800 on twitter that would be silly obviously
00:33:43.160 pete buddhage irresponsible irresponsible
00:33:45.320 he can't possibly be doing it let's
00:33:47.980 just confirm he doesn't have the
00:33:49.560 equipment to make it possible let's
00:33:51.540 rule it out have we seen have we seen
00:33:54.780 close-up pictures of the united airlines
00:33:57.380 flight when it was taking off losing the
00:33:59.800 tire do we did was there a parachute
00:34:02.040 after exactly was he up in the wheel hub
00:34:05.840 as they took off just you know like like
00:34:10.840 one of those you know poor afghans they
00:34:12.960 were just like i'm gonna go to america and
00:34:14.920 he's like wait i'm not done i gotta unloosen
00:34:17.660 the bolts here yeah like i'd like to see a
00:34:20.420 close-up was he driving a tanker truck last
00:34:23.280 june 11th and left it on i-95 in
00:34:27.840 philadelphia right that bridge when that
00:34:31.040 took caught fire like uh let's just find
00:34:34.060 out let's just see who the driver was
00:34:36.300 let's just look if like if you have the
00:34:37.980 the cctv footage and just see a little
00:34:39.880 guy scampering away from the bridge right
00:34:42.000 after like i would like to know who is
00:34:43.960 that is that is that a leprechaun or is
00:34:46.460 that pete buddhage i want to know who it
00:34:48.660 is these are basic questions that we can
00:34:53.960 ask honestly yes and yes my goal here is
00:34:58.280 to exonerate pete buddhage clear that's
00:35:01.820 my goal here yeah i feel like we might be
00:35:04.320 able to do it i think it's a lot of
00:35:05.880 before you said this i don't think pete
00:35:08.540 buddhage came up as a suspect
00:35:11.360 i mean it would because it would be so
00:35:14.640 outlandish right like there's no way
00:35:16.480 people were afraid to say it it would
00:35:18.460 be crazy thank you
00:35:19.540 is that what it was yeah it was
00:35:21.780 throwing off the chains and and saying
00:35:25.060 what everybody was thinking stupidly
00:35:27.560 other people would say as john stewart
00:35:30.360 said saying the things that nobody's
00:35:33.040 thinking right that's what he's that's
00:35:35.140 what he's doing right it could be it
00:35:37.180 could be but then again other people
00:35:38.640 might say it's the most logical
00:35:40.780 explanation that he's just going around
00:35:42.640 doing it himself and why else would all
00:35:45.980 of this happen and that's why i just
00:35:48.620 want to exonerate him and let him get
00:35:50.660 back to his wonderful family you know
00:35:53.100 back on paternity leave yeah you know
00:35:56.380 and like i think too we should consider
00:35:58.200 for this particular role whether
00:36:00.780 paternity leave should only happen after
00:36:03.460 the birth of a child maybe it should be
00:36:05.460 like a constant thing like a whenever
00:36:07.860 you need it you take it just go ahead
00:36:10.720 go on that would be good right now and
00:36:13.780 maybe take eight to twelve years off
00:36:16.480 just in case you know okay these are
00:36:20.240 just possibilities yeah thanks for
00:36:22.240 standing and watching the whole thing
00:36:23.760 burn with me it's uh it's been fun
00:36:26.360 appreciate it
00:36:27.420 uh please no mention of pete buddha judge
00:36:32.180 in the following commercial for the
00:36:33.640 tunnel to towers foundation
00:36:35.320 um the tunnel to towers foundation
00:36:38.140 is was started after 9-11 and their
00:36:42.900 their idea was somebody's got to take
00:36:45.540 care of these firefighters families
00:36:47.100 these police officers that died
00:36:49.500 then we went to war let me tell you
00:36:52.300 about american american hero in his
00:36:54.360 family james donaldson he's a u.s
00:36:56.880 army specialist his legs and two fingers
00:36:59.020 were lost when he was hit by a ied while
00:37:02.660 on duty in iraq sent home had you know a
00:37:06.740 lot of difficulty adapting to his own
00:37:08.440 home with his new circumstances
00:37:09.820 and that's where the tunnel to towers
00:37:12.800 foundation comes in they gave his family
00:37:15.000 a mortgage-free specifically adapted
00:37:17.260 smart home for him it has not only
00:37:19.060 allowed james to live a more independent
00:37:20.780 life but according to him also helped
00:37:23.400 him to be a better husband and father
00:37:25.320 since 9-11 the tunnel to towers
00:37:27.620 foundation has been committed to
00:37:29.320 supporting american heroes and their
00:37:31.480 families can you help eleven dollars a
00:37:34.540 month is all they ask join uh tunnel to
00:37:37.560 towers in this epic epic task eleven
00:37:41.020 dollars a month to tunnel to towers at t
00:37:43.440 the number two t.org that's t2t.org
00:37:48.240 this is the glenn beck program
00:37:51.940 so i i got to work this morning here at the
00:38:13.040 ranch we have a broadcast barn and i i walk
00:38:15.740 into the broadcast studio and i'm here
00:38:17.440 about i don't know six o'clock and it's
00:38:20.140 still dark out and i'm up in the mountains
00:38:22.760 and i jamie our engineer comes in what time
00:38:26.720 about 6 30 or so and uh he's he's in here
00:38:30.360 and we hear this because i had the door
00:38:32.880 open and i hear this uh well i don't know
00:38:36.560 like a flock of birds right and they're
00:38:38.140 making weird sounds and i looked at him
00:38:39.360 and i said what the heck is that and he
00:38:41.020 said i don't know just birds um but it was
00:38:43.420 weird and so i'm going back to the house
00:38:46.260 just to get some stuff and i walk out the
00:38:49.180 front door of the broadcast barn and i hear
00:38:52.120 i don't know what it was but all of a sudden
00:38:56.960 the birds went like and they just flew out
00:38:59.880 of the bushes and then i heard like the
00:39:03.340 scariest growl i've ever heard uh i don't
00:39:07.600 know what it was but we have mountain lions
00:39:10.620 up here and i think it might have been a
00:39:13.520 mountain lion it i mean all the hair on the
00:39:16.700 back of my neck stood up and i went jamie i
00:39:19.080 think there's something out here and uh then
00:39:21.940 i just screamed out to the mountain lion do
00:39:24.000 whatever you want with the engineer just
00:39:26.020 leave me alone it's terrifying those things
00:39:30.440 are so spooky yeah that is that is
00:39:33.040 terrifying do we know i thought it wasn't
00:39:36.460 pete budajed in the bushes is it possible
00:39:39.300 do we can we rule it out like if we just
00:39:42.420 had you know what a a a situation where
00:39:45.480 maybe pete budajed sits in front of
00:39:47.920 congress and we ask him to make his best
00:39:50.480 growling noise and then you'd be able to
00:39:52.280 just identify whether it was him can you
00:39:55.980 please sound like a mountain lion right and
00:39:59.560 if he can it was like this it was this
00:40:02.320 weird it was like a it was like a kitty
00:40:05.880 cat purr half growl if the kitty cat was
00:40:10.180 like 800 pounds right you know it sounded
00:40:13.260 like that can you make that sound pete
00:40:15.580 budajed we should ask him because then we
00:40:17.780 could rule him we can rule him out just rule
00:40:19.780 him out we just want to exonerate not
00:40:21.260 hunting for you know little animals to eat
00:40:24.100 in this morning he was just you know just
00:40:27.260 someplace else in the dark so you did get a
00:40:29.800 little purr mixed in with the uh with the
00:40:33.000 growl would you say you know that sound
00:40:35.540 that cats make when they're like
00:40:36.940 you know what i mean salivating over flesh
00:40:40.740 is that what you're yeah i don't know you
00:40:42.940 know that purring sound that they make
00:40:45.040 except it was like it was gosh it wasn't
00:40:49.280 a kitty cat it was terrifying this
00:40:52.320 terrifying this is why i'm indoorsy i don't
00:40:54.360 want to be an outdoorsy guy i'm an indoorsy
00:40:56.540 guy those things i mean i like it it's
00:40:58.640 pretty up here in the mountains and stuff
00:41:00.440 but i don't like that there's something
00:41:03.200 out there with a taste for human flesh you
00:41:05.720 know i would have made a very bad mountain
00:41:08.200 man i really i like today i like indoor
00:41:11.200 toilets and i even i'll take the problems
00:41:13.320 that we have today over you know where's
00:41:15.940 where's little suzy oh she was eaten by a
00:41:18.520 mountain lion yesterday but you know it

00:46:01.520 i think this is the most important week
00:46:09.860 of the year um religiously speaking
00:46:13.520 uh and and speaking
00:46:16.100 just as a human being
00:46:18.220 we the problems that we face
00:46:20.940 in america today and quite honestly the entire western world
00:46:24.440 is a
00:46:25.840 a lack of forgiveness
00:46:28.460 a lack of grace
00:46:31.180 and a lack of
00:46:33.420 understanding
00:46:36.560 the atonement
00:46:38.180 suicide rates are up
00:46:41.420 people think there's no
00:46:43.680 need to live anymore
00:46:45.600 that nothing is real
00:46:48.100 they don't realize that
00:46:50.200 they're not a human having a spiritual experience
00:46:53.380 they're a spirit having a human experience
00:46:56.140 that we are
00:46:58.100 at this time here
00:47:01.080 for a reason
00:47:02.520 and no matter what you've done
00:47:04.720 it doesn't matter
00:47:06.040 it doesn't matter
00:47:07.320 and you think
00:47:08.700 i can't
00:47:09.380 at least i did
00:47:11.020 so what made me drink
00:47:12.340 an alcoholic
00:47:13.020 i couldn't
00:47:14.980 i couldn't live in the world
00:47:17.640 that i had created
00:47:18.720 with so many things
00:47:20.780 that i was ashamed of
00:47:21.800 and everything else
00:47:22.500 just piled on
00:47:23.640 and it wasn't until
00:47:25.600 i stopped drinking
00:47:26.980 went to aa
00:47:27.720 and did that
00:47:29.100 but i still couldn't
00:47:30.520 really let go
00:47:31.900 of the past
00:47:32.840 until i was baptized
00:47:34.720 and when i was baptized
00:47:36.500 i remember i said
00:47:37.980 i was in the water
00:47:39.400 pat actually baptized me
00:47:40.940 and i i was in the water
00:47:42.260 and in my head
00:47:43.740 i was saying
00:47:44.860 you promise
00:47:46.060 you promise
00:47:47.100 you cease to be god
00:47:48.560 if you don't live up to your promise
00:47:51.060 and that promise is
00:47:52.140 live the way i ask you to live
00:47:54.300 do the things i ask you to do
00:47:56.300 to the best of your ability
00:47:57.920 and i will take all of the things
00:48:00.720 from the past away from you
00:48:02.260 and i'm telling you
00:48:03.880 my life changed overnight
00:48:06.980 it's real
00:48:09.420 a lot of people who even profess
00:48:11.900 that it's real
00:48:12.660 i don't know
00:48:14.160 they don't act like it's real
00:48:15.500 you know
00:48:16.700 and i think it's
00:48:17.700 something that you
00:48:18.680 you have to practice
00:48:21.420 put into practice
00:48:22.280 every single day
00:48:23.240 and be grateful for
00:48:24.320 it is the greatest gift
00:48:25.380 ever given
00:48:25.980 and that's what we're supposed
00:48:28.080 to celebrate
00:48:28.940 on easter
00:48:30.240 the resurrection
00:48:31.940 but did that
00:48:34.100 even happen
00:48:35.760 there are people that claim
00:48:38.080 jesus didn't even live
00:48:39.880 well
00:48:41.980 let's look at history
00:48:43.640 is there proof
00:48:45.220 that he lived
00:48:46.000 is there proof
00:48:46.680 that he died
00:48:47.200 is there proof
00:48:47.780 of the resurrection
00:48:48.560 and i mean
00:48:49.820 proof
00:48:50.520 historical proof
00:48:51.720 we happen to be friends
00:48:55.400 with uh
00:48:56.080 jeremiah johnson
00:48:57.020 not the guy who
00:48:58.140 well i don't think so
00:48:59.800 jeremiah
00:49:00.380 do you like liver and onions
00:49:02.180 in another life
00:49:04.640 maybe
00:49:05.020 i'm better looking
00:49:06.520 than that jeremiah johnson
00:49:07.800 right
00:49:08.640 okay
00:49:09.440 so that jeremiah johnson
00:49:11.520 the one
00:49:11.840 the mountain man
00:49:12.700 he he is
00:49:13.680 you know
00:49:14.560 that happy little movie
00:49:15.640 with robert redford
00:49:16.880 kind of happy
00:49:17.720 it didn't end that way
00:49:19.220 in real life
00:49:19.880 but anyway
00:49:20.420 uh
00:49:21.280 jeremiah johnson
00:49:22.200 he is a phd
00:49:23.540 author of
00:49:24.320 body of proof
00:49:25.520 he is christian thinkers
00:49:27.280 society president
00:49:28.560 prestonwood baptist church
00:49:29.960 and an apologetics uh pastor
00:49:32.500 and uh
00:49:34.180 we wanted to have him on
00:49:35.200 a huge fan of glenn beck
00:49:36.640 if i may say
00:49:37.620 and a blaze subscriber
00:49:39.100 by the way
00:49:39.860 really are you really
00:49:41.780 of course
00:49:42.320 i've been for
00:49:43.160 i'm an og subscriber
00:49:44.420 and listen
00:49:45.360 i love being on with you
00:49:46.700 holy cow
00:49:46.800 i appreciate your word
00:49:48.260 i appreciate you speaking truth
00:49:49.760 thank you
00:49:51.300 thank you very much
00:49:52.220 well that's really hurt
00:49:53.120 your credibility
00:49:53.740 with everybody else
00:49:55.220 but i appreciate it
00:49:56.720 so uh jeremiah
00:49:58.520 we wanted to get you on
00:49:59.760 because um
00:50:00.940 there's a lot of unbelief
00:50:02.480 today
00:50:02.900 and it wasn't until
00:50:05.440 i went to school
00:50:07.020 for like 10 minutes
00:50:08.240 um at yale
00:50:09.520 and i took
00:50:10.680 early christology
00:50:12.220 and it was
00:50:14.100 the historic
00:50:15.160 proof
00:50:16.440 of
00:50:17.180 of christ
00:50:18.560 and what
00:50:19.360 it was through the history department
00:50:20.860 and what
00:50:21.540 times were like
00:50:22.840 back then
00:50:23.580 and
00:50:24.940 it really opened up
00:50:26.260 a whole new world
00:50:27.040 so i'd love to talk
00:50:28.200 to you about
00:50:29.000 you know
00:50:30.040 what this week
00:50:31.020 was really like
00:50:32.200 and what the evidence is
00:50:33.700 that christ
00:50:34.800 even lived
00:50:35.840 right
00:50:36.340 and then we'll get
00:50:37.160 to the resurrection
00:50:37.840 love it
00:50:38.560 and what's fascinating
00:50:39.960 about it is
00:50:40.640 christianity
00:50:41.420 unlike any
00:50:42.240 other religion
00:50:43.420 in the world
00:50:44.060 glenn
00:50:44.440 puts itself
00:50:45.240 to a historical test
00:50:47.100 make no mistake
00:50:48.300 that archaeology
00:50:49.540 evidence
00:50:50.620 proved
00:50:51.640 not checking your mind
00:50:53.220 at the door
00:50:53.780 these are christianity's
00:50:55.340 closest cousins
00:50:56.660 no other religion
00:50:58.260 or ism
00:50:59.080 is like that
00:51:00.080 today
00:51:00.560 or has been
00:51:01.520 ever
00:51:01.940 in an absolutely
00:51:03.060 devastating passage
00:51:04.400 in first corinthians
00:51:05.220 15 17
00:51:06.140 glenn
00:51:06.640 saint paul
00:51:07.920 tells us
00:51:08.740 what's at stake
00:51:10.200 about how important
00:51:11.600 it is
00:51:12.000 what we're discussing
00:51:12.780 this week
00:51:13.600 this holy week
00:51:14.360 he said look
00:51:15.040 if jesus didn't rise
00:51:16.760 from the dead
00:51:17.260 this is first corinthians
00:51:18.100 15 17
00:51:18.840 we're still in our sins
00:51:20.600 we have no forgiveness
00:51:22.020 as you were just talking about
00:51:23.700 and two verses later
00:51:25.020 paul says hey
00:51:25.720 people should kind of
00:51:26.580 feel sorry for us
00:51:27.300 we should eat
00:51:28.240 be merry
00:51:28.760 for tomorrow we die
00:51:29.820 let's just go be
00:51:30.540 corinthians
00:51:31.160 and live wild
00:51:31.840 and crazy
00:51:32.420 but he says
00:51:33.460 and again
00:51:33.900 this is an uncontested
00:51:35.940 passage
00:51:36.700 first corinthians 15
00:51:37.880 is one of the most
00:51:38.700 respected
00:51:39.540 historical documents
00:51:41.440 and i'm talking about
00:51:42.400 even those
00:51:43.080 apostate
00:51:43.960 secular
00:51:45.000 skeptical
00:51:46.060 professors
00:51:47.080 that you probably had
00:51:48.280 in new haven
00:51:48.840 at yale
00:51:49.280 i'm not saying
00:51:49.740 they all are
00:51:50.280 but some of them are
00:51:51.160 i've been to the
00:51:52.080 bineke
00:51:52.420 this one wasn't
00:51:53.300 okay
00:51:53.920 everybody else
00:51:54.800 yeah
00:51:55.100 even they accept
00:51:56.720 first corinthians
00:51:57.400 as a historical document
00:51:58.520 and paul passes on
00:52:00.520 what's called
00:52:01.000 the kirgama
00:52:01.660 he passes on
00:52:02.960 the earliest
00:52:03.840 tradition
00:52:04.760 of the church
00:52:05.800 that jesus lived
00:52:07.220 he died
00:52:08.100 according to the scriptures
00:52:09.160 he was buried
00:52:10.380 and he rose again
00:52:11.820 on the third day
00:52:12.960 according to the scriptures
00:52:14.000 paul
00:52:14.920 was a male chauvinist
00:52:16.920 he hated christians
00:52:18.100 didn't like women
00:52:19.140 and he certainly
00:52:20.040 didn't like you
00:52:20.740 if you were a jew
00:52:21.620 it was only because
00:52:23.020 of experiencing
00:52:24.020 jesus alive
00:52:25.060 from the grave
00:52:25.800 that his life
00:52:26.800 is utterly transformed
00:52:28.060 he's the earliest witness
00:52:29.540 because remember
00:52:30.080 paul's letters
00:52:30.840 antedate the gospels
00:52:32.520 and so i don't check
00:52:33.940 my brain at the door
00:52:35.100 when i become a christian
00:52:36.400 glenn i am a follower
00:52:38.160 of jesus
00:52:38.900 because on april 5th
00:52:40.760 ad 33
00:52:41.620 jesus walked out
00:52:43.460 of that tomb
00:52:44.160 alive from the dead
00:52:45.500 that's the only reason
00:52:46.320 i'm a christian
00:52:47.020 you know i
00:52:48.640 let's talk about paul
00:52:49.720 for a second
00:52:50.180 because he is
00:52:51.080 fascinating to me
00:52:52.180 he wasn't just a bad guy
00:52:53.740 he was a really bad guy
00:52:56.040 he was
00:52:56.380 when
00:52:56.740 when the crowd
00:52:58.320 is surrounding
00:52:59.140 the brother of jesus
00:53:00.960 he says
00:53:02.880 here
00:53:03.660 you know
00:53:04.180 basically
00:53:04.900 you don't want to get
00:53:05.840 blood on your
00:53:06.340 your coat
00:53:07.020 let me hold your coats
00:53:08.360 right
00:53:08.980 so he's holding
00:53:10.080 their stuff
00:53:10.760 so they don't get bloody
00:53:12.460 while they beat
00:53:13.400 this guy to death
00:53:14.280 and stone him to death
00:53:15.140 i mean that's an extra level
00:53:17.620 that's almost to the
00:53:18.700 the evil nazi kind of
00:53:20.920 guy
00:53:21.380 he was the original
00:53:22.520 mafia mobster
00:53:24.080 mob boss in jerusalem
00:53:26.060 he gave approval
00:53:27.240 to take out
00:53:28.700 he gave approval
00:53:29.560 to all the hit men
00:53:30.340 to take out christians
00:53:31.600 he thought that he was
00:53:32.780 protecting judaism
00:53:34.100 that judaism was a
00:53:34.960 coherent religion
00:53:35.860 he didn't like this
00:53:37.020 new jewish sect
00:53:38.040 that welcomed
00:53:39.100 salvation glenn
00:53:40.200 as you said
00:53:40.760 so vulnerably
00:53:41.660 and so powerfully
00:53:42.480 in your personal testimony
00:53:43.780 to start this hour
00:53:44.820 he didn't like the fact
00:53:46.160 that the gospel
00:53:46.940 this new message
00:53:47.860 was for everyone
00:53:48.940 after all
00:53:49.460 he was trained
00:53:50.200 in rabbinic judaism
00:53:51.420 and glenn
00:53:52.100 i don't know
00:53:52.360 if you're aware
00:53:52.760 in rabbinic judaism
00:53:53.680 they would say things
00:53:54.460 like better to burn
00:53:55.640 the torah
00:53:56.260 than teach it to a woman
00:53:57.840 the jews had this
00:53:59.360 benediction
00:54:00.460 they said
00:54:01.840 thank you god
00:54:02.980 that you didn't
00:54:03.560 make me a gentile
00:54:04.520 thank you god
00:54:05.280 you didn't make me
00:54:06.020 an ignoramus
00:54:07.080 a moron in greek
00:54:08.060 and thank you god
00:54:08.840 you didn't make me
00:54:09.500 a woman
00:54:10.060 this is what's
00:54:11.300 in the zeitgeist
00:54:12.460 if you will
00:54:13.100 the milieu of paul
00:54:14.760 and the judaism
00:54:15.880 he comes out of
00:54:16.740 so what can we say
00:54:17.640 for the audience
00:54:18.200 because this has
00:54:19.660 immediate consequences
00:54:21.100 on everyone
00:54:21.720 who's watching
00:54:22.340 and listening today
00:54:23.340 jesus christ
00:54:24.780 not only lived
00:54:25.900 his death
00:54:26.820 is the best
00:54:27.540 established fact
00:54:28.640 of the ancient world
00:54:29.680 glenn i often say
00:54:30.620 if we can't believe
00:54:31.360 that jesus
00:54:31.980 was massacred
00:54:33.240 on a roman cross
00:54:34.320 don't bother believing
00:54:35.560 in the roman empire
00:54:36.420 because do you realize
00:54:37.520 as a historian
00:54:38.460 so i had the privilege
00:54:39.360 to study in oxford
00:54:40.380 for three years
00:54:41.060 2009 to 2012
00:54:42.480 where i defended
00:54:43.040 my thesis
00:54:43.660 93 000 word glenn
00:54:46.020 uber lieferong's
00:54:47.520 geschisha of resurrection
00:54:48.740 11 languages
00:54:50.220 in my doctoral thesis
00:54:51.600 i looked at it
00:54:52.880 i heard all the arguments
00:54:54.260 against the resurrection
00:54:55.900 which we should
00:54:56.600 definitely dive into
00:54:57.900 here's the key though
00:54:59.200 yes
00:54:59.520 jesus came out
00:55:00.780 of that tomb alive
00:55:01.800 and it utterly
00:55:02.460 transformed the world
00:55:03.400 which is one of my
00:55:04.100 body of proofs
00:55:04.860 from my book
00:55:05.420 it's the only convincing
00:55:06.900 evidence for me
00:55:07.840 it's the only convincing
00:55:09.080 explanation
00:55:09.920 for the historical fact
00:55:11.340 that everywhere
00:55:11.940 this gospel message
00:55:13.200 goes
00:55:13.760 and society
00:55:15.180 embraces it
00:55:16.120 culture is dramatically
00:55:17.900 improved
00:55:19.040 and made better
00:55:19.900 this same paul
00:55:20.780 who is an og gangster
00:55:22.100 in jerusalem
00:55:22.840 sees jesus glenn
00:55:24.540 and he gives us
00:55:25.620 a passage
00:55:26.060 he says
00:55:27.260 there's neither
00:55:27.720 jew nor gentile
00:55:28.760 nor there's slave
00:55:29.440 nor free
00:55:29.860 neither male nor female
00:55:30.840 we're all one
00:55:31.560 in christ jesus
00:55:32.300 and that one verse
00:55:33.300 changes the world
00:55:34.160 yeah
00:55:35.540 revolutionary
00:55:36.440 i think
00:55:37.020 he's my favorite
00:55:38.060 character in the bible
00:55:39.360 paul
00:55:40.140 he's he's just
00:55:41.140 if we knew how to
00:55:42.700 argue like paul
00:55:43.800 if we knew how to
00:55:44.560 live like paul
00:55:45.480 in many cases
00:55:46.300 we would be
00:55:47.920 just an outrageously
00:55:49.200 great group of people
00:55:50.500 tell me why is he
00:55:52.360 why is he on the road
00:55:53.720 to damascus
00:55:54.560 he's on the road
00:55:55.560 to damascus
00:55:56.460 because he wants to
00:55:57.640 get even more approval
00:55:58.780 he wants to take his
00:55:59.880 pogroms against christian
00:56:01.560 and he wants them
00:56:02.560 to go national
00:56:03.400 he is going to get
00:56:04.660 approval to continue
00:56:05.740 to kill christians
00:56:06.960 so he is on the
00:56:08.340 hit run
00:56:08.980 literally
00:56:09.380 he's going to
00:56:10.280 take what he's doing
00:56:11.220 the persecutions
00:56:12.020 in jerusalem
00:56:12.740 he wants to pass those
00:56:14.280 into damascus
00:56:15.440 and beyond
00:56:16.140 he wants
00:56:16.680 a systematic
00:56:17.980 extermination
00:56:19.320 of the way
00:56:20.480 that's how christianity
00:56:21.620 was first
00:56:22.380 uh referred to
00:56:23.500 in its earliest
00:56:24.160 historical documents
00:56:25.620 and so
00:56:26.080 what we can say though
00:56:27.340 glenn
00:56:27.680 and this is what
00:56:28.300 skeptics who are
00:56:29.200 listening
00:56:29.520 and i get it man
00:56:30.340 i wake up a skeptic
00:56:31.320 every morning
00:56:31.860 and i have to
00:56:32.360 wrap myself back
00:56:33.340 in the truth of god's
00:56:34.280 word
00:56:34.500 and the truth of the
00:56:35.280 evidence
00:56:35.680 of scripture
00:56:36.620 what we can say
00:56:37.760 as a historian
00:56:38.660 not as a matter
00:56:39.660 of faith
00:56:40.280 but as a matter
00:56:40.860 of fact
00:56:41.440 jesus christ
00:56:42.720 the documents say
00:56:43.800 appeared to those
00:56:44.720 who loved him
00:56:45.440 and followed him
00:56:46.140 he also appeared
00:56:47.340 to those who were
00:56:48.160 indifferent to him
00:56:49.120 and make no mistake
00:56:50.280 as we'll dive into
00:56:51.060 he appeared to those
00:56:51.960 who are out and out
00:56:52.640 hostile against him
00:56:53.920 okay
00:56:55.840 we're going to talk
00:56:56.540 about that
00:56:56.920 it'll give me one minute
00:56:57.860 we'll back with
00:56:58.540 jeremiah johnston
00:56:59.520 in in just a second
00:57:00.740 first
00:57:01.160 let me tell you
00:57:01.940 about our sponsor
00:57:02.760 our sponsor
00:57:04.740 this uh
00:57:05.640 this half hour
00:57:06.700 if i can click
00:57:07.780 on it
00:57:08.140 and my computer
00:57:09.320 is not working
00:57:10.040 oh it's berna
00:57:10.880 uh easy to talk
00:57:12.340 about berna
00:57:12.900 stew and i went
00:57:13.760 out uh to my
00:57:14.820 house and uh
00:57:15.960 with my wife
00:57:16.560 and we had just
00:57:17.400 a little game
00:57:18.320 with the berna
00:57:18.760 launchers
00:57:19.200 this is part
00:57:20.320 one of why
00:57:21.360 i like berna
00:57:21.840 launchers
00:57:22.200 you can fire
00:57:23.300 it in the city
00:57:24.000 today when i
00:57:25.240 thought there was
00:57:25.680 a mountain lion
00:57:26.400 behind my house
00:57:27.460 uh i fired my
00:57:29.340 gun i can do
00:57:30.160 that because
00:57:30.520 there's nobody
00:57:31.120 for miles around
00:57:32.760 you if you want
00:57:34.600 to practice you
00:57:35.420 have to go to a
00:57:35.980 gun range or
00:57:36.580 whatever we
00:57:37.140 practice in my
00:57:37.800 backyard in the
00:57:38.880 city with a
00:57:39.840 berna launcher
00:57:40.340 doesn't make any
00:57:41.000 sound and it's
00:57:41.600 not a bullet but
00:57:42.400 it will stop you
00:57:43.720 60 60 feet away
00:57:45.780 if you hit within
00:57:46.900 five feet with a
00:57:48.440 tear gas uh pellet
00:57:49.900 you're going to
00:57:50.580 stop that person
00:57:51.320 pretty quickly for
00:57:52.240 about 45 minutes
00:57:53.080 but uh stew came
00:57:54.960 out and he was
00:57:55.620 all you know hey
00:57:56.460 i'm i'm you
00:57:57.420 know i'm rambo
00:57:58.140 i'm the man
00:57:58.860 i can shoot
00:57:59.620 i'm just the
00:58:00.400 i'm the pro here
00:58:01.780 get out of my
00:58:02.440 way you rookies
00:58:03.260 and i think he
00:58:04.060 was beaten by my
00:58:04.840 wife i'm not
00:58:06.660 sure it's not an
00:58:07.760 exact quote of
00:58:08.820 what i said but
00:58:09.620 it's so close
00:58:10.560 glenn i have to
00:58:11.340 give it to you
00:58:12.220 berna launchers
00:58:15.880 um does does
00:58:17.300 lisa carry a gun
00:58:18.200 with her all the
00:58:19.140 time always glenn
00:58:20.200 for anyone interested
00:58:21.120 in thinking about
00:58:22.000 going up to her
00:58:23.440 at any point she's
00:58:24.140 always very heavily
00:58:24.940 armed
00:58:25.300 let's just
00:58:27.040 just pretend
00:58:29.900 that she doesn't
00:58:31.020 my wife doesn't
00:58:32.380 um and they're
00:58:33.620 stopping a grocery
00:58:34.280 store they're
00:58:34.960 stopping at a gas
00:58:35.880 station at night
00:58:36.880 things are getting
00:58:37.820 freaky in cities
00:58:39.160 really freaky
00:58:40.120 yeah i want to
00:58:41.260 make sure that her
00:58:42.060 gun is loaded but
00:58:43.560 she is you know
00:58:45.500 afraid of pulling
00:58:47.060 my gun you know
00:58:47.840 i pull my gun
00:58:48.780 you better be
00:58:49.800 prepared to kill
00:58:50.540 somebody so you
00:58:52.660 hesitate um
00:58:54.740 berna takes that
00:58:55.960 hesitation away
00:58:56.740 because if you see
00:58:57.460 trouble coming
00:58:58.220 you could just say
00:58:59.480 stop stop where
00:59:01.400 you are pull the
00:59:02.780 trigger it's not
00:59:03.360 going to kill a
00:59:03.820 person but it will
00:59:04.640 incapacitate them
00:59:05.860 until police arrive
00:59:06.900 it's berna the
00:59:08.100 berna launcher get
00:59:08.960 it now b-y-r-n-a
00:59:11.320 dot com slash is it

00:59:21.060 10 second station
00:59:21.920 id
00:59:22.200 jeremiah johnston
00:59:33.500 uh joins us now
00:59:34.720 let's let's talk
00:59:36.060 about the the
00:59:38.020 proof should we
00:59:39.140 start with the
00:59:39.560 proof that jesus
00:59:40.400 even lived or you
00:59:41.300 want to go right
00:59:41.840 into the resurrection
00:59:42.620 whatever you want
00:59:43.380 to you man i'm
00:59:43.840 good um well
00:59:46.480 we've got about 20
00:59:47.320 minutes uh so
00:59:48.760 let's let's start
00:59:50.140 just quickly on
00:59:51.260 some things like
00:59:52.880 for instance um
00:59:54.380 josephus is a
00:59:56.360 jewish writer of
00:59:57.300 one of our first
00:59:58.100 historians and he
00:59:59.820 writes about jesus
01:00:01.420 and not like a he's
01:00:02.740 the messiah sort of
01:00:03.700 way just verifies
01:00:04.900 that the man was
01:00:05.900 right another one of
01:00:07.660 these messianic
01:00:08.640 figures that came
01:00:09.640 down and had
01:00:10.220 followers correct
01:00:11.120 exactly but what's
01:00:12.180 unique about jesus
01:00:13.060 remember jesus wasn't
01:00:14.200 the only guy in the
01:00:14.880 first century claiming
01:00:15.800 to be the messiah
01:00:16.680 and my book body
01:00:17.420 of proof i actually
01:00:18.200 write about the fact
01:00:18.980 that there's at
01:00:19.560 least 10 other what
01:00:20.460 i call messianic
01:00:21.440 pretenders or
01:00:22.440 contenders all of
01:00:23.860 their movements came
01:00:25.320 to not after the
01:00:26.460 death of their would
01:00:27.360 be messiah like
01:00:28.240 founder only jesus's
01:00:30.120 movement continues so
01:00:31.400 let me put it this
01:00:32.420 way because i i'm a
01:00:33.360 visual learner i do a
01:00:34.400 lot of work in
01:00:34.820 archaeology you can go
01:00:35.780 to the land of israel
01:00:36.520 today glenn there's
01:00:37.320 about a hundred
01:00:37.920 archaeological digs that
01:00:39.080 happen twice a year
01:00:40.040 you can i can
01:00:41.240 introduce you to jewish
01:00:42.340 archaeologists now
01:00:43.600 these jews are just
01:00:44.580 jews by ethnicity
01:00:46.100 they're probably
01:00:46.660 atheists or perhaps
01:00:48.340 agnostic leaning
01:00:49.240 towards atheists glenn
01:00:50.680 they use six books
01:00:51.680 you may have heard of
01:00:52.760 to make sure that
01:00:54.240 they're digging in the
01:00:55.460 right spot they make
01:00:56.840 sure that these books
01:00:57.780 exhibit here's a word
01:00:58.760 you'll love verisimilitude
01:01:00.280 with what the world of
01:01:01.660 the first century late
01:01:02.600 antiquity would have
01:01:03.820 been like you may have
01:01:04.640 heard of these books
01:01:05.240 some of your audience
01:01:05.920 may be familiar with
01:01:06.680 them matthew mark luke
01:01:09.340 john the book of acts
01:01:11.180 and as you just said
01:01:12.520 flavius josephus so if
01:01:14.580 the atheist slash
01:01:16.060 agnostic jewish
01:01:17.100 archaeologists who do
01:01:18.760 this for secular
01:01:19.440 universities not for any
01:01:20.740 kind of faith integration
01:01:23.860 or influence they're
01:01:24.740 just they're just
01:01:25.540 digging if they're using
01:01:26.960 those six documents i
01:01:28.680 want to tell you our
01:01:29.360 audience should as well
01:01:30.300 that tells me that the
01:01:31.300 scriptures are in fact
01:01:33.340 indeed some of the best
01:01:34.800 historical documents that
01:01:36.160 we have we can build 65
01:01:37.400 facts about the life death
01:01:39.080 burial and resurrection
01:01:39.880 of jesus before we ever
01:01:41.400 opened the bible glenn do
01:01:43.600 you realize i can't say
01:01:44.500 that about any other
01:01:45.320 historical figure it's
01:01:47.280 incredible and it's
01:01:48.080 astounding i i i will
01:01:50.380 tell you that um when you
01:01:52.200 walk over there and you
01:01:53.360 see it and you read it you
01:01:55.720 you know where you it's not
01:01:57.340 a big place no you know
01:01:59.060 where you are and it
01:02:00.260 describes it so well even
01:02:01.920 2 000 years later you can
01:02:03.840 you can see where you are
01:02:05.660 and what happened there um
01:02:07.560 so i don't think it's it's
01:02:09.440 i mean if you don't
01:02:11.100 believe that jesus even
01:02:12.460 lived as a man you know i
01:02:15.120 don't know where to go
01:02:15.840 with you on that now let's
01:02:17.120 let's take it to now he
01:02:19.060 was a man and he was
01:02:20.600 crucified how do we know
01:02:22.120 that this is the death that
01:02:24.280 he he endured we know this
01:02:26.480 because there are seven
01:02:27.680 reasons and this is why i
01:02:29.060 took all of my learning all
01:02:30.600 my education but listen i'm a
01:02:32.000 busy dad of five glenn i
01:02:33.140 don't know if you knew this my
01:02:34.040 wife and i have triplet boys
01:02:35.620 who are seven years old we
01:02:37.580 haven't slept in seven years
01:02:39.020 so my kids go screensaver
01:02:41.060 they go yeah they go
01:02:43.080 screensaver if it takes dad
01:02:44.540 longer than two minutes to
01:02:45.600 explain something so i took
01:02:47.040 that to my body of proof and
01:02:49.140 i wanted to give people the
01:02:50.120 seven best reasons the proofs
01:02:52.640 the evidence here's what's
01:02:54.180 cool glenn and this is why i
01:02:55.420 love you you're a christian
01:02:56.620 thinker you actually know how
01:02:58.120 to think and you teach your
01:02:59.080 audience to be critical
01:02:59.980 thinkers i don't go into some
01:03:01.800 kind of christian trance when
01:03:03.420 i do christian history i think
01:03:05.460 about the historicity of
01:03:07.020 jesus of nazareth his death by
01:03:09.340 roman crucifixion which is the
01:03:10.880 best established fact of the
01:03:12.280 ancient world the proofs of
01:03:14.540 his resurrection the proofs of
01:03:16.180 nascent early christianity i do
01:03:18.160 that the same way i do civil war
01:03:19.480 history you know glenn i used to
01:03:20.620 live in franklin tennessee where
01:03:21.760 the battle of franklin bloody as
01:03:23.560 five hours of the civil war
01:03:24.660 happens same way i look at that
01:03:26.360 history is how i learn history of
01:03:29.200 jesus of nazareth and so what's
01:03:31.660 fascinating to me though is there
01:03:33.820 is archaeology there is evidential
01:03:36.020 proof textual proof okay so when
01:03:39.880 we come back let's go through those
01:03:41.100 seven okay the the the proof that
01:03:44.140 jesus rose from the dead okay and you
01:03:47.740 decide uh jeremiah johnston he is
01:03:50.480 the author of body of proof he is also
01:03:53.720 christian thinkers society president
01:03:55.320 prestonwood baptist church apologetics
01:03:57.640 pastor the historic basis for faith
01:04:01.840 next when we come back
01:04:04.320 all right our sponsor this half hour
01:04:13.960 sir you're gonna have to help me out
01:04:15.020 because my computer's not working on
01:04:16.260 it away relief factor another one easy
01:04:18.400 to talk to you about relief factor is
01:04:20.820 the way i got out of pain um you know
01:04:24.440 i i can't tell you i went to every
01:04:26.800 major uh medical center in the country
01:04:30.660 over about a five or six year period i
01:04:33.320 had debilitating pain that would put me
01:04:36.500 almost in the fetal position um it was
01:04:39.300 really really bad and nobody knew what it
01:04:43.300 was being caused by or how to stop it
01:04:45.540 and i got to a point to where i was like
01:04:48.760 i can't live this way anymore i can't i
01:04:50.580 can't do my job anymore um and live with
01:04:55.120 this pain my wife it was around christmas
01:04:58.180 time time and my wife said uh why don't
01:05:00.320 you try relief factor and i said god it's
01:05:02.480 it's not gonna work i've been to the best
01:05:04.140 doctors in the world and she said why
01:05:06.340 don't you just try it i did three weeks
01:05:09.680 later my my pain had been lessened i
01:05:14.940 thought it was just me i stopped taking
01:05:16.840 it it got worse again i'm out of pain
01:05:19.000 now relieffactor.com relieffactor.com
01:05:22.420 and don't forget to subscribe to blaze tv
01:05:24.800 you can do it at blaze tv.com slash glenn
01:05:27.260 the promo code is glenn you'll save 20
01:05:29.660 bucks
01:05:30.000 so there's a lot of christians even that
01:05:47.360 are a little iffy on the resurrection and
01:05:49.940 if jesus didn't rise from the dead then
01:05:52.880 what was the point why are you going to
01:05:55.060 church why are you getting baptized why do
01:05:57.620 you believe anything that you do if he
01:05:59.420 didn't rise again but that's kind of hard
01:06:02.060 to swallow especially if you're somebody
01:06:03.760 that you know you haven't stumbled onto
01:06:06.640 faith yet um and there's a new book out
01:06:09.640 called body of proof by jeremiah j
01:06:12.360 johnston uh he is a pastor an apologetics
01:06:16.520 pastor presswood baptist church christian
01:06:19.040 thinkers society president he's a phd and
01:06:22.600 this is a book that as he said we got seven
01:06:26.260 right out of the chute seven things that
01:06:28.780 prove the resurrection what are they
01:06:31.000 so the body of proof is this important for
01:06:33.520 every believer i want to make sure you
01:06:34.680 understand what's at stake there are 300
01:06:36.740 passages in the new testament that talk
01:06:39.460 about the resurrection of jesus there's
01:06:41.140 only 260 chapters 300 references on the
01:06:44.560 resurrection glenn so many of us as you
01:06:46.720 said at the top of the hour we need hope
01:06:48.680 right now we live in a society that's
01:06:50.820 largely given into despair we wonder
01:06:53.500 what's life all about anyways well number
01:06:55.780 one the resurrection of jesus this is
01:06:57.720 proof number one in the body of proof is
01:06:59.260 the only way we ultimately make sense of
01:07:02.780 the suffering in our lives saint paul we've
01:07:05.180 been discussing romans 8 18 he said for i
01:07:07.440 consider the sufferings of this world
01:07:09.940 cannot be compared with the glory that is
01:07:12.400 to come someday and remember paul he he
01:07:15.380 was like the job of the new testament he's
01:07:17.160 often called the job of the new testament he
01:07:19.060 had so many problems in two corinthians
01:07:20.820 one he said i have the sentence of death
01:07:22.240 within me i can't even go on living right
01:07:24.000 now so without the resurrection of jesus
01:07:26.340 suffering ultimately doesn't make sense but
01:07:29.100 suffering is what gives us hope first
01:07:31.140 peter 1 3 says that no matter what we face
01:07:33.380 we have a living hope and here's what's
01:07:35.600 cool about it glenn not because i woke up
01:07:37.100 feeling hopeful this morning my hope is
01:07:39.080 tied to a fact the fact of jesus's
01:07:41.740 resurrection number two jesus christ
01:07:43.500 called it this is the second body of proof
01:07:45.740 and glenn i can't help your audience if you
01:07:48.120 guys don't know what a hashtag is by now
01:07:49.960 but if the early church had a hashtag it
01:07:52.680 would be on the third day jesus does
01:07:55.920 something really cool and by the way i
01:07:57.640 have a 1000 year old torus scroll glenn i
01:08:00.340 so wish you were with me today because i
01:08:02.300 brought my 1000 year old torus scroll with
01:08:05.540 me i'm holding it up for those that are
01:08:07.140 watching right now this is a torus scroll
01:08:09.840 it's written that means it's the first five
01:08:12.020 books of the old testament that's what
01:08:13.540 torah means so genesis leviticus exit that
01:08:16.320 kind of thing so this is actually the book
01:08:18.460 of numbers glenn and this is numbers 30 to
01:08:21.120 33 this was given to our ministry christian
01:08:23.540 thinker society was smuggled out of iraq during
01:08:25.900 saddam hussein's pogroms against the jews it was
01:08:28.840 smuggled out entire rubber now why am i showing
01:08:32.080 you a torus scroll jesus said that all of the old
01:08:35.920 testament testified of him and what's really
01:08:38.860 powerful glenn we're all on the road to emmaus
01:08:41.520 right now every one of us you're on the road
01:08:43.760 to emmaus i'm on the road to emmaus
01:08:45.520 and some of us were like explain that for
01:08:47.640 people who don't know what that is in luke
01:08:49.340 24 the disciples thought jesus was a charlatan
01:08:52.700 they're cussing i never knew the man they've
01:08:55.180 given up he wasn't supposed to die on a roman
01:08:57.920 cross glenn he was supposed to vanquish us from
01:09:00.520 those roman enemies 4q 285 a dead sea scroll
01:09:04.460 said that when messiah comes he'll kill the roman
01:09:07.740 occupiers vanquish a corrupt priesthood purify
01:09:11.900 a defiled temple but when jesus went to the cross
01:09:14.580 they thought he had lost they thought the devil had won
01:09:18.120 right so right they go home to emmaus emmaus is seven miles southwest of the
01:09:22.500 modern city of jerusalem and glenn in my bible study book body of
01:09:26.540 proof i took two drones four cameras to jerusalem we filmed
01:09:30.100 just days before the hummus attack little did we know
01:09:33.180 i'm on the actual emmaus road and glenn you know this because you actually
01:09:36.720 know and teach history the romans knew how to build roads and
01:09:40.300 the curbing is still there from the road to emmaus and cleopas and his wife
01:09:44.240 mary and here's what's really beautiful about it
01:09:46.980 they've given up they've left the faith they thought jesus gave them no hope
01:09:51.480 because he died on a cross and glenn here's what's cool about it
01:09:54.140 they begin walking in a stranger who they don't recognize begins walking with
01:09:58.120 them and in fact they invite this stranger into their home in emmaus when
01:10:02.080 they reach emmaus seven miles later and what i love about luke by the way is
01:10:05.680 he enjoyed eating did you know in the gospel of luke which is one of the four
01:10:08.900 gospels there's 13 meal scenes glenn so luke will be a great guy to hang out
01:10:13.280 with he's a man after my own yeah he's a man after my own appetite here's the
01:10:17.960 beauty and i want you to see the ark it was during uh the eye it was during the
01:10:22.740 first meal scene in genesis that sin entered the world do you remember eve ate
01:10:27.040 the apple yes she was tempted and yet it's in this new meal scene in the new
01:10:31.840 creation that their eyes are opened and the stranger who's been walking with them
01:10:35.180 on the road to emmaus glenn is none other than jesus christ resurrected and there's
01:10:40.340 this verse i would include encourage your audience to look up luke 24 verse 27 it
01:10:46.080 says that jesus began with moses so that's the first five books that's why i brought
01:10:51.120 my taurus scroll right the prophets and the writing so in the hebrew bible that
01:10:55.820 would be genesis to chronicles and he said not just a couple of verses they
01:11:00.300 all point to me and here's what happens their dejection is turned to unending
01:11:05.940 hope in luke 24 32 it says we're not our hearts burning within us as he opened the
01:11:12.360 truth of the scripture to us and you know what we need our hearts to burn with hope
01:11:16.460 today don't we glenn and so jesus called it that's the hashtag on the third day
01:11:20.160 jesus predict a lot of the skeptics out there glenn they say well jesus didn't
01:11:24.220 really think he was god people foisted that on him later no when you study mark
01:11:28.260 8 31 mark 9 31 mark 10 33 and 34 jesus is constantly predicting his death by roman
01:11:35.540 crucifixion and on the third day he would rise from the dead hosea 6 2 and 3
01:11:40.720 you know i thought of him this week you know palm sunday he comes in on a donkey
01:11:46.460 um and he celebrated and he knows he's fulfilling scripture and i thought
01:11:53.920 i i i don't think i don't think i would be happy going into jerusalem if i knew what was going to
01:12:02.540 happen in just a few days and it was a massacre the execution of of of crucifixion is beyond anyone's
01:12:12.380 understanding of how horrible it is and yet he was fulfilling prophecy knowing what was going to
01:12:18.800 happen in just a few days and he was still hopeful i mean that that is really remarkable and glenn
01:12:23.800 that's how much he loved you romans 5a but god demonstrated and keeps demonstrating his love for
01:12:30.820 you and me for the everyone watching right now man there's a lot of despair out there if you need a
01:12:35.620 reminder god loves you you need to look one place in one place only the empty tomb after you look at the
01:12:40.520 cross god demonstrated his love for you and me and that while we were sinners glenn while we were
01:12:45.940 alcoholics while we hated god he still loved us and so that's the beauty of it point number three
01:12:51.280 body of proof is jesus demonstrated resurrection power glenn i went to bethany it's i don't call it
01:12:56.800 palestine ever we should get into that at some point this week of why i never called israel palestine
01:13:01.460 that's terrible uh but i went into what moderns call uh west bank i call it judea and samaria i filmed
01:13:07.500 in the very tomb of lazarus this is another story holy cow i went down there and glenn you would have
01:13:13.000 loved it i i was sweating by the way i was on a weight loss program i could barely fit in the tomb
01:13:18.220 i had to get on all fours and i called out there were little tombs yeah we were smaller people and
01:13:24.520 i called out i said lazarus come forth i just wanted to know what it sounded like in the tomb we filmed it
01:13:30.360 all and here's the point jesus not only predicted his death and resurrection he demonstrated resurrection
01:13:35.380 power mark five jairus's daughter raised from the dead luke seven widow of nain's son raised from
01:13:41.040 the dead and then john 11 the stupendous miracle lazarus's body is a ripe stinking course he raises
01:13:46.600 it from the dead and john 11 said they still didn't believe and glenn that's what we have to help
01:13:51.240 educate your audience some evidence will never be enough evidence for some people can we just talk
01:13:56.420 about that for a minute i mean jesus christ could appear to you right now but you've already closed your
01:14:00.920 heart to him and when you close your heart to jesus you close your heart to hope because hope
01:14:06.180 is found in nowhere else than the resurrected christ i will tell you this is why dictators and everybody
01:14:12.220 else the first thing they take on is christianity they take on religion eliminate it to destroy the
01:14:18.120 yeah they've got to destroy religion because that is the source it's the only reason why i do what i do
01:14:26.100 it's the only reason why i get up every day i got up this morning and i'm like oh jeez i don't want
01:14:30.420 to read the show prep today right and you know what i do because i know he lives i know he saved me
01:14:37.740 that's right and i know i'm forever in his debt never able to repay it but jeez this is the least i can
01:14:44.120 do if if he asks me to stand up and testify of him that's the least i can do so number five glenn body
01:14:51.220 of proof you wanted me to get through them all the source is written and archaeological overwhelmingly
01:14:55.900 confirm the resurrection narratives embedded in the gospels i'm going to quote now atheists i like
01:15:01.040 to quote atheist scholars because we have some skeptics that for some reason that holds more
01:15:05.520 weight i have the same credentials they do but i'm not an atheist so let me quote the atheist
01:15:09.680 jody magnus university of north carolina archaeologist she is an a specialist in jewish burial traditions
01:15:16.540 she says the resurrection narratives embedded in the gospels are exactly right the entire juridical
01:15:22.240 procedure is what we understand glenn here's the cool part in the mishnah that's the rabbinic
01:15:26.300 tradition if you if you were a part of the sanhedrin uh glenn if you and i were part of the 70 ruling
01:15:31.620 priest in jerusalem in the time of jesus and we condemn someone to die it was on you and me to be
01:15:36.840 responsible for the burial of the criminal we killed what do we read in nathie mark luke and john
01:15:43.020 jose excuse me joseph of arimathea nicodemus these are members of the sanhedrin they ask pilot for the
01:15:51.140 body of jesus why they're going to bury him not honorably but properly all of that smacks of
01:15:57.840 authenticity point number six body of proof glenn i love this one the best because you know as a dad
01:16:03.180 of triplets and four sons i can tell you something abel rider jackson justin none of them think the
01:16:10.120 other one is the son of god okay i can tell you that right now as a dad of boys i don't know glenn do
01:16:15.560 you have any brothers i don't know if if you have a brother what would it take for you to believe
01:16:20.160 your brother was the son of god i have to ask these kind of critical questions and glenn when i was
01:16:26.780 defending my thesis william telford who was studied who who is a gospel of mark scholar but does not
01:16:33.860 believe in the resurrection he looks at me when i'm defending my thesis in oxford and viva voce half
01:16:39.320 the words he's using is in latin and he said jeremiah i have one question as we begin had a big
01:16:43.980 british bro tie on he said do you actually believe that jesus rose from the grave or is that just
01:16:50.760 imaginative storytelling that was the first question he asked me and again in the uk you get a phd it's
01:16:57.160 pass fail you fail you can never do a phd again and you can't that subject i said professor telford
01:17:01.820 david hume said wise men choose rob probabilities the evidence leads me to believe with all my heart
01:17:07.720 jesus rose from the grave physically bodily on ad 58 on april 5th ad 33 i believe it with all my heart
01:17:14.120 he said i don't see it that way let's start your viva he later passed it with commendation i published
01:17:21.560 in the jew in the german system you're not really called a doctor until you publish your monograph and
01:17:26.500 a academic serial he went on and recommended it for publication so here's number six a body of proof
01:17:32.100 how do you explain the conversion of james the brother of jesus i love that you're conversing in
01:17:38.540 josephus uh glenn i love that you know history i've learned history from you glenn i don't want to date
01:17:44.700 you or me but for a while i loved i watched you back in the day on the chalkboards and learn from you
01:17:49.680 thank you and john 7 verse 5 said not even jesus brothers believed on him in mark 6 did you know
01:17:57.120 jesus is called a bastard in the gospels they thought he's an illegitimate child
01:18:01.180 um in mark 3 his his family thinks he's a nut job so i want to ask your our audience because i'm
01:18:07.680 sure many of them have not yet become christians what would it take for you to die believing your
01:18:13.580 brother was not only the son of god but had come back from the dead james didn't believe it either
01:18:19.040 and glenn i like to think in my mind's eye you know he was a builder jesus has been massacred on
01:18:24.020 the cross he's a charlatan james thinks and first corinthians back to that power passage verse
01:18:29.740 7 and 8 says and he appeared to james and in my mind's eye i'm just speculating right now glenn but
01:18:35.800 i'm thinking that james is working on a project and brother jesus appears to him as the resurrected
01:18:40.460 christ and he's like bro check out my side check out my hands they got me i told you you you owe me
01:18:49.080 that money yeah i got you but here's what josephus and again i'm not quoting the bible right now i'm
01:18:55.340 quoting flavius josephus in ad 62 james is stoned to death glenn believing his brother is the messiah
01:19:03.960 the son of god how do you explain that how do we explain that all right hang on just a second we're
01:19:10.860 going to get the last point here in just a second first let me break for a quick commercial real

01:20:12.240 jeremiah johnston he is the author of body of proof uh pad and uh presswood baptist church
01:20:36.300 apologetics pastor he has just written this book body of proof that in it he has one of the things
01:20:42.960 seven reasons why uh you can you can prove that uh that christ the story and the resurrection is true
01:20:51.960 the last one i think is very funny in some ways go ahead glenn i first presented this at an academic
01:20:58.320 conference this is an original contribution to knowledge glenn if you and i wanted to invent a new
01:21:03.600 religion that would have been marketable in a winning proclamation in the first century we never
01:21:08.540 would have invented christianity everything about the christian message offends someone in fact if you
01:21:15.460 and i and so the title in my chapter body of proof is if the disciples invented the story of jesus death
01:21:21.260 and resurrection they did a terrible job you would have never invented it that way no one believed in a
01:21:26.620 body a ripe stinking corpse coming back to life so predominant was the socratic notion of the
01:21:34.140 immortality of the soul the platonic notion of the immortality of the soul rather the body was ugly
01:21:38.780 wanted to get rid of it glenn women as you know were at a great disadvantage in the first century
01:21:44.380 world in fact we have a love letter papyrus oxyrhynchus 744 a guy writes a beautiful love letter 50 years
01:21:50.140 before jesus was born to his wife alice and oxyrhynchus he said hey if it's a boy keep it and then let me
01:21:54.840 read it to you in greek um if it's a girl throw it in the trash can but who does christianity choose
01:22:04.480 and by the way no one would have batted an eye but it's in mark 9 that jesus said wait a minute the
01:22:09.340 kingdom of god is like children bring the children to me jesus brought humanity back to women and
01:22:15.220 children and the resurrection is defended by women we never would have invented it that way if we were
01:22:21.500 trying to come up with a no and you would have taken the messiah and and nailed him to a tree
01:22:26.240 that's right the worst humiliation you could come up with okay you believe in the shroud yes or no
01:22:32.520 yes i do completely it's no hoax and listen i was a skeptic i gotta tell you i feel the same
01:22:40.960 way and i never did believe it wow but i do now tomorrow we're going to take on the holy shroud
01:22:47.380 of turin the glenn beck program that story really pisses me off because what they should have said is
01:22:53.940 hey everybody in the newsroom grow up grow up we don't all have to agree with each other or just hit
01:23:00.580 them with some tear gas probably not the best answer but it is the best answer the burner launcher would be
01:23:05.320 helpful in many circumstances it is uh we actually you had mentioned and lied about a bunch of our
01:23:10.740 when we were testing uh the burner launcher at your house and you've told many stories about that
01:23:15.420 one thing i think is interesting that we haven't talked about glenn with the burner is one of them
01:23:19.780 one of the biggest you know things preventing people from practicing and getting in good practice with
01:23:25.440 their firearm is the ammunition with the burner you actually can reuse it over and over and over and
01:23:30.780 over again i know um which saves you so much money yeah especially if you hit the target like yours
01:23:37.380 went way past the target and we had to look for it all day but mine just pink it and then just drops
01:23:43.400 right in front of the target so it's uh it's good anyway birna get a birna launcher for yourself now
01:23:48.320 b-y-r-n-a dot com slash glenn
01:23:52.240 it's a new day
01:24:18.300 welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment this is the glenn beck program
01:24:36.760 you know i've learned a lot by just looking at what the government seems to be preparing
01:24:47.900 for you can you can see the future or the future that they are expecting by looking at how they're
01:24:57.700 preparing and what they're preparing for i told you yesterday that there was a uh a troubling
01:25:04.740 report out from the royal canadian mounted police uh on the things that the canada and their police
01:25:12.780 force are trying to start to prepare for uh it's troubling because it talks about people rising up
01:25:21.560 out of hopelessness out of their situation well the guy who broke this story uh is uh from canada
01:25:28.820 obviously his name is tristan hopper and he is on the phone with us now to explain what does this mean
01:25:35.940 how seriously should we take this and and and how serious is the police and and uh people like trudeau
01:25:44.700 taking this are they taking it seriously is it something we should all really kind of batten down the
01:25:50.260 hatches for we talk to him in 60 seconds stand by
01:25:54.640 first our sponsor this half hour is american financing everything everything is still really
01:26:01.960 expensive right now and by the time you fill up your car and buy your groceries there's not much
01:26:06.220 left so what do you do well a lot of people are just swiping their credit card because they're trapped
01:26:11.240 and then they trap themselves into high interest debt but what choice do you have at this point
01:26:17.080 then after they start to see your interest rate going up 20 25 30 35 you as a homeowner you're looking
01:26:26.120 and i think i'm going to lose my house please i want you to call american financing or go to their
01:26:32.480 website americanfinancing.net they don't ever charge any upfront or hidden fees it's just one of the many
01:26:38.420 reasons why they have you know like 8 000 great five-star google reviews i've been a fan of american
01:26:45.260 financing for a very very long time because they don't work for the banks they work for you
01:26:49.180 they may be able to save you from a catastrophic ending if you have high interest credit card debt
01:26:55.700 you could save up to 820 every month that is the average of what a listener last year who called
01:27:03.740 in all of the listeners called in the average was about ten thousand dollars a year in savings
01:27:08.760 by talking to american financing american financing at 800-906-2440 americanfinancing.net
01:27:17.600 nmls 182334 nmlsconsumeraccess.org apr for rates in the five starts at 6.799 percent for
01:27:23.620 well-qualified borrowers call 800-906-2440 for details about credit costs and terms
01:27:28.200 the whole of government five-year trends 2023 it was a report that was forecasting uh exercise based
01:27:39.360 on uh based on a review of open source articles and reports spokesperson uh has said it was undertaken
01:27:45.980 to provide federal policing managers with insight into anticipated changes in canada's political
01:27:52.980 economic social technological environmental and legal circumstances aiding in safeguarding canada
01:28:01.040 tristan hopper is a reporter and columnist for the national post uh and he is he is all on top of this
01:28:09.960 uh and can tell us the meaning behind it uh if if anything significant tristan welcome to the
01:28:16.200 program uh thank you i didn't break the story i shamelessly stole the idea from someone else but i
01:28:21.720 think i wrote it better okay you what well you're the story that i found and so you know that's the
01:28:28.400 same um to me listen uh steal from me you've stolen twice the thing i that i want to know is when i read
01:28:35.620 the story um it it talked about how hopelessness is going to be uh a part of canadian's life in the
01:28:47.380 coming years and that yeah people aren't prepared why i wrote about it so the fact that the report
01:28:53.040 exists isn't surprising i mean the job of the police correct at least at the federal level i mean
01:28:57.800 the rcmp i mean they do street level policing but they also sort of function of canada's fbi so think
01:29:03.340 of this as an fbi report um saying oh here's what the next five years are going to look like
01:29:07.660 so yeah police should be sitting around saying well that's gonna what's gonna bite us in the butt in
01:29:11.800 the next five years so i guess what what was interesting was if you have a security analyst
01:29:17.140 who's only worrying about security they're going to look at canada and say oh yeah most of your
01:29:23.320 young people can't afford houses that's not good uh you know that that could be a real problem
01:29:27.960 uh in the future um so this is sort of one of the first times i've seen acknowledged uh within an
01:29:34.600 organ of the canadian federal government saying oh yeah things are not good they haven't been good
01:29:38.580 for a while and they're set to get worse so obviously um if you ask the political did trudeau
01:29:44.200 government um government of prime minister justin trudeau they're going to say no no don't worry
01:29:48.460 you things are going to turn around but uh i mean according to the professionals within our
01:29:52.360 security state they're saying uh no no we we see none of this getting better and when you have
01:29:58.180 increasing numbers of young people who have no prospects of obtaining the life that their parents
01:30:03.620 lived um you know it's fine now but that can quickly devolve into something very ugly
01:30:09.300 yeah this is let me just quote you the warning the federal government received that canada may
01:30:18.040 descend into civil unrest once citizens realize the hopelessness of their economic situation
01:30:23.860 the coming period quoting the report the coming period of recession will accelerate the decline in
01:30:30.520 living standards that the younger generations have already witnessed compared to earlier generations
01:30:36.520 yeah for example many canadians under 35 they got just like for many canadians under 35 they are
01:30:43.420 unlikely ever to be able to buy a place to live ever right and i should point out this is sort of a
01:30:51.260 for a u.s audience this sort of a preview of coming attractions so in affordability oh yeah and just
01:30:57.580 general uh life standards canada is sort of ahead of the curve on those being worse so our per capita
01:31:02.900 gdp has been while the u.s has actually been pretty good the last 10 years ours has been steadily
01:31:09.040 trending downwards and then affordability um i know houses are expensive um as for americans but
01:31:15.280 in our major centers um if you earn anything close to a normal income so in toronto vancouver even in
01:31:22.060 sort of secondary cities like edmonton or calgary um yeah there are no circumstances whatsoever under
01:31:28.660 which you can afford even a basic home um so and that's really accelerated over the last 10 years
01:31:35.180 so yeah you have a lot of people who have good jobs their wife has a good job um they've saved
01:31:40.420 their money and yeah real estate's gone up a thousand percent so there's there's no way they
01:31:45.720 can envision a future where they're not renting for the rest of their lives and it's it's not just that
01:31:51.900 here in america i mean uh i think it was state farm just said that to californians we're out um we're
01:31:59.940 not going to we're going to cut i think it was 70 maybe 70 000 customers um because they said they
01:32:06.860 just you know they've raised it up 80 percent for the people they did keep and then just cut a bunch
01:32:13.560 of other people because they said they can't afford to replace the homes in in california i mean you can't
01:32:20.680 take an 80 percent increase on home insurance a 30 percent rise in electricity costs uh you know a 30
01:32:29.120 percent rise in in in uh water and then a 25 percent rise in groceries and expect this to last
01:32:36.360 it just can't that that's exactly right so yeah that that has been happening um for quite some time
01:32:42.920 and it's been so one one trend that is showing up in canada that maybe is a bit different than the u.s
01:32:48.080 is that according to poll numbers our population is getting really conservative um particularly our
01:32:55.080 young people so probably for the first time in my lifetime and one of the first times you know
01:32:59.560 in any western democracy um we are having a plurality of young people actually favoring the
01:33:05.680 conservative party of canada and you're seeing all of these demographics never thought about voting
01:33:09.500 conservative in their entire life um you know women or urban uh you know i mentioned young people
01:33:16.980 who are saying oh yeah yeah 55 percent i'm voting conservative next election so there's never been
01:33:21.580 anything like it so is that both men and women uh when it comes to uh the youth because we're seeing
01:33:30.200 that our women are going our young women are going uh just full-on woke leftist and the boys and the men
01:33:38.900 young men are going hard conservative that was initially so this time last year that was what the trend
01:33:46.300 was showing this was showing uh young men were going yeah real conservative but however uh that
01:33:51.440 sort of changed so i wrote about that a couple months ago i was saying you know women initially
01:33:55.060 weren't on with this sort of what we would call the blue wave the colors are swapped but you know
01:33:59.640 this blue wave happening um in canada but uh you can only sort of hold out those options for so long
01:34:06.640 until you realize oh i i pay three thousand dollars a month for a 700 square foot apartment and my car
01:34:12.700 has been stolen three times this month so um yeah i guess people are being mugged by reality at a
01:34:17.820 lightning pace so one of the things that's in this report um it says the trends in both canada and
01:34:24.760 abroad um will have a significant effect on the canadian government and rmc uh rcmp um canadians
01:34:34.380 uh are becoming increasingly disillusioned with their government which authors mostly chalk up to
01:34:41.160 misinformation conspiracy theories and paranoia law enforcement should expect continuing social and
01:34:48.440 political polarization fueled by the misinformation campaigns and an increasing mistrust for all
01:34:54.120 democratic institutions this is terrifying to me because they're they don't even recognize that
01:35:01.700 the trust that we have all had for our institutions has been eroding for a long time because they
01:35:08.700 continue to lie to us and they're on a different path than the people are uh yeah so this did stand
01:35:17.000 out to me basically whenever i see the word misinformation or disinformation it's usually
01:35:22.080 front-loading a whole bunch of stuff that's not true um so yeah to see this in the report i guess
01:35:27.860 the ironic part that i took out of the report um if you can find it funny is that yeah a lot of the
01:35:34.000 section where they're getting into you know paranoid populism and conspiracy theory so this is not a
01:35:38.020 report that was supposed to be made public i got it thanks to right uh matt malone he's a professor
01:35:42.320 out of thompson rivers university he just files access to information right um to get secret
01:35:47.320 government reports and just release them and see what happens um so in this section we're saying
01:35:52.400 people don't trust the government anymore and conspiracy theories most of that is blacked out
01:35:56.480 um so yeah there's a section titled paranoid populism and it's saying oh people are paranoid and
01:36:02.380 popular i don't know why black out there so and then this whole section is blacked out so there is one
01:36:07.220 giant uh security risk um that takes up several pages that's sort of the one they lead with
01:36:12.920 that whole thing is blacked out so who knows what that i'm gonna guess it's something we don't even
01:36:17.360 know what that one is yes so wow we we've just got people are broke and then it gets into um most of
01:36:27.220 the country is catching fire every summer um you know commodity risk so you know it's it's it's
01:36:33.220 it's harder to get reliable all the all the sort of normal things but the thing that is unusual is
01:36:39.180 a government agency saying everybody's broke and that usually makes for angry people
01:36:43.260 this is i mean i just find it a little terrifying what what is the they mentioned the increasing
01:36:50.540 pressure to cede arctic territory is that to china or russia language yeah so we our military is not
01:36:58.540 in great shape lately and we have a lot of territory that isn't very strong we don't i mean
01:37:03.880 you the americans you got a fair amount of stuff up in alaska i wouldn't screw with anyone in alaska
01:37:09.520 but we don't even have any sort of permanent military bases up in the arctic so that kind
01:37:14.640 of language usually we use the word arctic sovereignty like which we're worried about russia
01:37:19.580 or denmark or someone taking right here put in that case that's the most dire language i've ever heard
01:37:25.380 an arctic uh a government report saying oh yeah pressure to cede territory like we've seen but
01:37:31.660 from whom they can take our stuff what are we going to do
01:37:34.380 so is it russia are they specifically because i have not heard that from any i mean i know that
01:37:42.540 russia has subs up there and they're trying to you know claim that they own it um but is that what
01:37:47.460 they're talking about or is there additional stuff usually i mean as as you sort of lose ice up there
01:37:54.380 there's a whole bunch of you know there's oil there's shipping routes it's becoming valuable
01:37:58.280 um so this is something i used to work i used to work in the north i used to work at a magazine about
01:38:03.160 20 years ago so this was a big deal back then saying you know as soon as this it was easy when
01:38:08.080 it was just all frozen and sir john franklin's corpse you didn't have to worry about anybody taking
01:38:11.680 it um but yeah um we haven't really increased um our military capacity in the north so as there's
01:38:19.520 interesting stuff up there who knows you could get china russia just move in and say oh we're
01:38:24.860 taking this island it's uh nobody's using it um there's very little we can do about that
01:38:29.360 can i ask you tristan being a canadian and yet you're so close to uh america i think you're up
01:38:37.240 in bc are you most of us are most of us are along the border okay all right so um you know you're close
01:38:44.480 to you're close to america you understand what's happening here i i contend that it is a game that
01:38:50.600 is being played making us hate the other party it's oh it's the republicans versus the democrats
01:38:56.480 no it's really not in every country in the west that i have seen it is these marches are the little
01:39:04.440 people marching against the elites saying what are you doing why are you doing this this is killing us
01:39:12.540 um is it the same in canada and do you have is anybody waking up to it's not just justin trudeau
01:39:21.460 it's it's all of them it's the elites that are taking us down this this really bizarre path and
01:39:29.180 denying everything that they're doing until they then come out and say yeah we did that what what's
01:39:35.080 the problem yeah yeah i'd say it's part of the sort of political uh realignments i mentioned um it's
01:39:42.080 i'm definitely seeing it i mean i'm speaking from the capital british columbia basically just north
01:39:46.840 of seattle it's easily the most left-wing part of the country and i work for a center-right newspaper
01:39:51.520 so whenever some lefty here has some like dark right-wing thought in the middle of the night they
01:39:56.680 usually call me and that's been happening a lot lately so there's an awful lot of people who have
01:40:01.160 voted um for progressive parties their entire lives and then something just hits them um they'll see
01:40:07.680 why did this guy get bail after you know he keeps killing people when he's out of jail or how come
01:40:12.560 my bike keeps getting stolen so there's a whole bunch of that happening um and at a way more
01:40:18.860 accelerated pace than i'm seeing in the u.s i'm seeing the u.s is still quite entrenched um there's
01:40:23.820 sort of a partisan divide but there's definitely a wave happening uh we are seeing people flooding
01:40:29.020 to the conservative party of canada in rates unseen i would say almost since the 1950s
01:40:35.100 that's incredible and i will tell you i think that's why one of the big reasons why the democrats
01:40:42.020 wanted donald trump to be the candidate because if we can just keep arguing about donald trump and his
01:40:49.220 tweets and everything else then we don't pay attention to wait a minute there's something else
01:40:54.720 going on here uh tristan thank you so much and i appreciate it and love to stay in touch with you
01:40:59.480 god bless thank you tristan hopper from uh from canada on a what i find a disturbing report from the
01:41:08.140 royal um canadian mountain mounted police all right let me talk to you about relief factor sleep is one

01:42:16.060 it's a big night on blaze tv tonight the wednesday night special the biden administration's growing
01:42:31.020 censorship and suppression of uh uh well it's a whole campaign against people like us the alleged
01:42:37.780 mis and disinformation which is far too often aimed at conservatives and anyone who disagrees with the
01:42:44.200 administration the murphy versus missouri supreme court case which the biden white house colluded with
01:42:50.240 social media platforms to censor speech that's just the tip of the iceberg there is so much more of this
01:42:57.580 censorship that is coming thanks to a foia request and eventual lawsuit brought by american first legal
01:43:03.500 they were able to uncover a fascinating report by the uh by u.s agency for international development

01:43:25.420 disinformation primer which provides a disturbing insider's view of our government's strategies for
01:43:33.780 dealing with the rampant so-called information disorder that often means just speech that doesn't
01:43:40.860 adhere to left-wing narrative i'll tell you about the government's partnerships in media literacy
01:43:45.780 and the strategy they call pre-bunking we are up against a sprawling network of government agencies

01:45:27.600 of that in just a second all right but first uh let me tell you about the international fellowship

01:45:42.280 um survive and that's really what's happening the world has abandoned israel america
01:45:50.240 has abandoned israel and right now there are hundreds of thousands of israelis who have had
01:45:56.460 to leave their homes and not come back and it's tearing communities apart there is so much suffering
01:46:01.980 that nobody covers yeah everybody talks about the the palestinians who by the way a new poll came out
01:46:09.120 the majority vast majority of them still support hamas so please give it a rest um but we see them

01:46:43.340 welcome to the glenn beck program you know it's an important it's it's part of our mission here
01:47:05.200 to not only try to uphold the american way the way of life and safeguard our history
01:47:11.080 um but it's very important to us to keep the lines of communication open and i've been warning
01:47:18.720 for a while now that tough times lie ahead and they do but amidst the darkness there's always a
01:47:26.000 glimmer of hope and a flicker of light guiding our way forward um we we at the blaze need to
01:47:33.920 you know the blaze was named after the burning bush i don't know if you know that
01:47:37.320 but i named it after the burning bush because that is a fire that burns but doesn't consume
01:47:45.300 and if you're standing in the purifying fire of god and and you're there god help you if you are not
01:47:53.180 in line with the truth because that fire will burn out all of the imperfections so we we strive for what
01:48:01.000 the truth is and the truth really is so much um larger than this fact or that fact it is based on fact
01:48:11.620 but it's also based on um on who we are and where we came from and what is necessary to keep going
01:48:21.720 especially in times of need we need hope and we also need to laugh once in a while and i don't know
01:48:30.140 about you but there are times that i just like can i just laugh now the things that we're working on
01:48:37.280 now at the blaze i mean they may not be everybody's cup of tea but comedy is in the eye of the beholder
01:48:44.200 um and many of us here at the blaze find these very dry comedies where you know the average slub coming
01:48:54.560 in will go what the hell did i just watch but those who have a very dry sense of humor
01:49:01.620 they quote those movies forever um and you know my some of my favorite movies are are uh christopher
01:49:10.700 guest movies um you know like uh uh like a mighty wind or best in show or any of those also it took
01:49:22.180 me a couple of times to watch napoleon dynamite because i wasn't in the right frame of mind and when
01:49:28.000 i watched it i watched it with my kids and they said dad you gotta watch this funniest movie ever
01:49:32.400 and i started watching them like i do not get this movie and you know i think i just tuned out like
01:49:39.060 10 minutes into it i finally watched it because my wife said you you don't really mr mighty wind you
01:49:46.160 don't get this and it was reframed and i watched it i'm like this is hysterical it's hysterical
01:49:52.400 same with agua donkeys not everybody's cup of tea but if you like those kinds of movies
01:49:58.140 i think you're really going to love agua donkeys which premieres today on blaze tv you can stream it
01:50:05.940 right now if you want i don't recommend it because the last 20 minutes of this show are
01:50:09.600 going to be spectacular but you can stream it at any time at blaze tv let me play a little trailer
01:50:16.440 of this for you who is it it's the agua donkeys oh the pool boys jare can hold his breath for six

01:50:44.680 jackie is the girl of their dreams sorry is that a b as in boy or d as in doi and rod
01:50:53.080 at agua donkeys you can't ask out jackie um what are you guys wearing what is trying to run a
01:51:00.800 business i'm trying to run a business here oh sorry you broke up dude i didn't hear like the
01:51:04.640 last five minutes of what you said but the pool boys have a plan get abs get calves dude i wish
01:51:11.360 you could see how slick your calves are looking right now and jump off the roof of the sleepy seagull
01:51:16.740 to be honest i didn't even know this place had a roof blaze tv presents a silky sick and buttery
01:51:23.260 so buttery dumb comedy film it's so dumb oh your shirt's down featuring one f-bomb that was probably
01:51:31.200 one of the only times i've ever said the f-word so which one do you want to date it we both do
01:51:36.480 individually two suitors how's that work donnie donnie donnie donnie donnie and donnie
01:51:44.640 mp cunningham and jare jackson play mp cunningham and jare jackson
01:51:50.660 in the most exciting pool related comedy of the year yeah my buddy says you have a pool
01:51:56.800 agua donkeys
01:52:03.460 it's available now on blaze tv it is really really funny and we've been working with these guys
01:52:14.520 i don't know if you saw what was the grand reopening or just reopening reopening uh that was
01:52:19.300 yeah um you can find that on the blaze right now which was the reopening if you didn't see it you
01:52:26.040 really missed out you gotta watch it on blaze um it is a uh story of a small town theater
01:52:32.920 that is reopening after covid and if if you i mean it came out and i don't know how many people saw it
01:52:41.660 they everybody on the blaze should watch it uh all the blaze subscribers because it is so it made fun
01:52:49.640 of everything the government was doing and all of those people that were just way over the top
01:52:55.380 at the time when we were nobody was saying anything and it is really funny that's reopening from same
01:53:02.780 people we have agua donkeys and we have some more coming out uh that i think you're going to enjoy
01:53:08.380 yeah really really funny and uh and just i you know again it's got no it's not like some big point
01:53:14.040 like i feel like a lot of these movies especially on the right get made like when they're trying to
01:53:17.440 be comedies and they're they're just like hey here's a really hilarious movie about lowered
01:53:23.800 individual tax rates and you're like okay that's not really yeah it's it's that's more of a mission
01:53:29.320 here's the right here's the thing um we've done some testing on it and some people have said
01:53:35.420 well i don't understand why the blaze is running this well what do you mean well it doesn't it it
01:53:42.820 doesn't talk about the bible or george washington it's like yeah because this is a lifestyle we're
01:53:50.440 a lifestyle and um we want to be a part of all of your life and i know you don't come to us for comedy
01:53:58.440 and you get it elsewhere etc but we do it because we also need to laugh um and that's part of our day
01:54:06.360 is to be able to be able to have something i thought it was really important that they said
01:54:12.200 in the movie and one f-bomb and because i'm watching it and i i said to tyler he said are you okay with
01:54:21.140 that and i'm like am i okay with what and it was said so fast that i didn't even notice it and he said
01:54:27.280 well it was an f-bomb and and you know i don't want to cut it or bleep it or you know anything i
01:54:32.120 said i didn't even know it was one but let's make that in the promo and there's one f-bomb
01:54:37.980 so everybody knows you know it's clean except for that one time um but it was funny yeah it's very
01:54:47.620 very funny these guys are really funny i had seen some some of their stuff a couple years ago and just
01:54:51.860 you know loved it it was just really really funny and if you if you have yeah again as you point out
01:54:57.460 it's it's a certain type of sense of humor if you'd like the pacing of like a napoleon dynamite i mean
01:55:02.340 you're gonna love this and it's uh it is uh i love i love those awkward moments and this is these two
01:55:11.580 these two guys they're just the just the dumbest two guys they're pool you know pool if you like
01:55:19.400 dumb and dumber that's who these guys are okay and they're they're fun they fall in love with jackie
01:55:25.720 who's in the office and oh my god they are just so stupid uh so much so that she's entirely clueless
01:55:36.860 that they like that they like her at all uh it's it's really good it's really good yep
01:55:42.820 available at blaze tv.com slash glenn you can use the promo code glenn if you want to save uh 20 bucks
01:55:47.840 off your subscription and you can watch that and then uh also my show tonight at 9 p.m uh which is
01:55:56.600 really really good has really good commentary uh it has a lot of great facts in it it's very useful
01:56:05.860 unlike what precedes my program right the incredible lead-in with no facts and no perspective
01:56:13.680 and no commentary stew does america i mean look if you are trapped in a nursing home right and you
01:56:20.780 you don't have the remote control but there's no way you can even get out of bed the stew show's
01:56:27.220 worth watching we will take your viewership we don't care we do not discriminate if you happen to be
01:56:32.880 a victim of andrew cuomo or sitting in a nursing home yeah i pretty much already passed away we'll
01:56:37.820 still count you as if you were on our show look we are we are looking for the nielsen ratings to be
01:56:43.580 actually done by the city of chicago right uh and we'll take every dead person uh that we can get
01:56:51.320 by the way dead people a lot of disposable income people don't recognize that you know they're about to
01:56:56.620 and and they rave they rave judy in minnesota said
01:57:02.500 and i thought she made a really good point when she was talking about stew and his talent
01:57:10.440 one of our most loyal viewers that judy in minnesota
01:57:12.900 all right uh that's all tonight on blaze tv all right let me tell you about uh juan
01:57:20.700 he wrote in about his dog's experience with rough greens he says jojo is getting older
01:57:25.060 he's been starting to slow down quite a bit lately ever since we started using rough greens things are
01:57:31.180 different i see him bark and run he's now chasing the cat and jumping into the bed whereas before
01:57:36.240 he just lay there he seems a lot happier too i love my jojo thank you so much for rough greens
01:57:42.100 juan you're welcome and thanks for writing in and telling me about your dog this is what we hear
01:57:47.120 time and time again that um your dog is just kind of listless and you know you think maybe he's
01:57:54.580 getting older or that's just the way he is i started feeding uh uno rough greens and he was like a puppy
01:58:00.980 again it was incredible i think it's dog crack but let's keep it to ourselves okay sure we get some of
01:58:07.540 the ingredients from across the border not at all but i mean it could be we don't know we don't know
01:58:13.480 what's in it well it's all marked on the package and it's all good things for your dog but it acts
01:58:18.340 like dog crack in many many ways except they don't lose their teeth in fact they get healthier and
01:58:23.340 stronger but i digress go to rough greens they love when i ad lib on these commercials rough greens.com
01:58:30.180 slash beck rough greens.com slash beck or call 833 glenn 33 that's 833 glenn 33 they'll give you your
01:58:38.640 first trial bag for free it's rough greens.com slash beck our opinions weighing you down call in and let
01:58:48.800 it out 888-727-BECK this is the glenn beck program
01:58:58.460 oh yeah welcome to the uh program glad you're here uh did you see what mb msnbc uh has done
01:59:22.140 you know they they tried to hire a a republican the former uh head of the republican national
01:59:29.560 committee and uh and their people just went crazy and so here's the statement last night
01:59:35.320 uh from msnbc on uh rona mcdaniel's nbc news leadership has announced that former rnc chair rona
01:59:44.340 mcdaniel will not be an nbc news contributor we have a new email and update that's come out just
01:59:51.400 within this hour so this is sort of breaking news here within our organization on a story that has
01:59:56.220 garnered significant attention and criticism in this new email quote there's no doubt that the
02:00:01.880 last several days have been difficult for the news group after listening to the legitimate concerns of
02:00:07.040 many of you i have decided that rona mcdaniel will not be an nbc news contributor he goes on to write
02:00:13.800 that no organization particularly a newsroom can succeed unless it is cohesive and aligned
02:00:18.480 over the last few days it has become clear that disappointment undermines that goal
02:00:23.740 may i just say you are pathetic nbc news absolutely pathetic you you your newsroom can't work if you're
02:00:39.200 not all aligned you shouldn't be aligned on politics or anything else you should be aligned
02:00:47.800 on finding the facts and reporting them accurately since when do we all have to believe exactly the same
02:00:55.580 thing you're pathetic there is something to be said for opposition in all things now that's amazing
02:01:03.820 because that comes from god who kind of knows the truth and yet he set up a system where opposition
02:01:13.680 in all things is important but not for nbc news no no well you know our people know the truth and
02:01:22.440 they don't need to hear anybody else's opinion on what the truth will be we know it and you know
02:01:28.840 another thing you you say that we are um uh we just have zombies in our audience these people they
02:01:37.860 did they just hypnotize all these people all across the nation fill them with disinformation
02:01:41.960 really our people are thinking people they want to hear the other side they want to know what's
02:01:48.740 really going on they'll argue with me and you know what me as the guy i don't bow down to them
02:01:57.460 to serve them i listen to what they have to say and if i think they're right i'll say they're right
02:02:03.900 if i if if i think i'm wrong and they've corrected me i will say i'm wrong but if i think that they're
02:02:11.220 wrong and i'm right i'll say that too i don't change my show for the listeners i don't do that
02:02:20.040 what a pathetic we you have just built yourself a room where you are terrified of the mob because
02:02:29.160 whatever the mob call you know i heard him say earlier the well you know the uh the the phone
02:02:35.500 calls that came in over the weekend the what the phone calls does nbc nbc have a switchboard that's
02:02:45.300 open on saturday and sunday where a listener i wouldn't even know how to begin to look up the
02:02:51.820 nbc 30 rock newsroom and comment section my gosh who even uses the phone like that anymore
02:02:59.980 our switchboards were flooded with people shut up well they said calls came in right people in
02:03:06.480 you the right people that that you think are the right people like the clintons called in and said
02:03:12.000 what are you doing exactly what are you doing she's not even hot that's what happened that's
02:03:16.200 exactly what happened the calls came from people like joe scarborough who was calling management and
02:03:21.660 was angry about it and you know it's just pathetic you can't i mean ron mcdaniel's not even like i mean
02:03:26.800 would you even what would you even consider her she's been like the mouthpiece of the republican
02:03:31.140 national committee she's not like a you know a hardcore conservative she's not even liked by the trump
02:03:37.240 people at this point i know she can't she's not liked by she's only liked by the people like mitch
02:03:44.260 mcconnell which you shouldn't have a problem with because he votes with you that's so bizarre i mean
02:03:51.120 again no one's thinking that you know msnbc is going to correctly represent conservatism but you can't
02:03:56.520 even accept to hear it you can't even allow your audience to hear a little bit of it right but if you
02:04:02.240 disagree with us call and we'll hang up on you okay so back program
