00:00:00.000 Well, let me see.
00:00:01.480 Stu's been on vacation, so he's been, you know, just kicking back, relaxing while those Americans working hard to make sure this economy keeps going, that we keep business here in America, that we have labor forces here in America that can help the country.
00:00:21.760 Well, I mean, that wasn't me.
00:00:24.040 I was on vacation, but they were doing it.
00:00:25.840 Crip 6 was doing it.
00:00:26.800 How about did you buy socks from Crip 6 while you were on vacation to help them?
00:00:31.260 Not while I was on vacation, but I have bought Crip 6 socks before.
00:00:34.240 This is the kind of un-American attitude that a Canadian sports hero and spy would have.
00:00:40.320 Look, Crip 6, they make great socks.
00:00:43.260 They make great belts and wallets, but it's all made here in America.
00:00:47.680 Put your hard-earned money in a company that does it right and does it here in America.
00:00:52.460 This is a company that has risked a lot to do it all here in America, and they make great, great products.
00:00:59.780 That's grip6.com slash back.
00:01:03.000 Grip, the number 6, dot com slash back.
00:01:06.100 Grip, the number 6, dot com slash back.
00:01:11.200 Grip, the number 6, dot com slash back.
00:01:15.260 We got no room to compromise.
00:01:26.220 We got to stand together and we're going to survive.
00:01:32.220 Stand up and stand and hold the light.
00:01:35.140 It's a new day I'm trying to raise
00:01:40.680 What you're about to hear
00:01:44.760 is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:01:50.800 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:01:56.940 Alrighty, so...
00:01:59.820 we may be arresting a former president.
00:02:03.760 Huh.
00:02:05.040 Huh.
00:02:06.440 A...
00:02:07.000 A...
00:02:08.000 A...
00:02:08.840 A state...
00:02:12.000 is going after a federal crime.
00:02:15.700 I...
00:02:15.940 I'm trying to...
00:02:17.680 And that crime was already dismissed by the FEC.
00:02:23.680 Now they're not gonna...
00:02:25.420 I'm trying to get my arms around this.
00:02:29.040 And the former president is asking everybody to march
00:02:33.040 and...
00:02:34.240 I would...
00:02:36.820 But...
00:02:38.160 if they're doing that to the president,
00:02:40.740 what are they doing to the American people?
00:02:44.780 Hmm.
00:02:45.260 You know what the problem is?
00:02:47.820 The G-O-P.
00:02:50.760 Clearly.
00:02:51.420 I'll explain.
00:02:52.420 Oh, and...
00:02:53.140 some financial stuff that you need to be aware of.
00:02:56.580 Coming up.
00:02:57.640 60 seconds.
00:02:58.600 We begin.
00:02:59.040 Jason wrote in about his dog's experience with Rough Greens.
00:03:02.320 Says Ginger loves Rough Greens.
00:03:04.100 She's four years old.
00:03:05.200 She can be a picky eater sometimes.
00:03:06.880 But with Rough Greens, she eats her food immediately.
00:03:09.820 She has more energy, more regular.
00:03:12.520 Keep coming.
00:03:13.320 Rough Greens.
00:03:14.020 Keep it coming.
00:03:14.580 If you want your dog to be really super healthy,
00:03:19.280 get all of the vitamins, nutrients, the probiotics,
00:03:22.900 everything that your dog needs on the kibble food,
00:03:25.920 you just sprinkle this on top.
00:03:28.420 And you're gonna be amazed at the difference it makes in your dog.
00:03:32.280 Even your dog's eating habits, I think.
00:03:34.320 At least it did for Uno.
00:03:35.780 Rough Greens.
00:03:36.580 So confident your dog's gonna love it.
00:03:38.260 They have a special deal.
00:03:39.100 You get the first bag free.
00:03:41.120 You just pay for shipping.
00:03:43.300 Rough Greens.
00:03:43.940 R-U-F-F-Greens dot com slash Beck.
00:03:46.600 Rough Greens dot com slash Beck.
00:03:48.880 Or you can call them at 833-G-L-E-N-N-33.
00:03:53.580 Okay.
00:03:54.680 So, let me ask you.
00:03:57.300 Does anyone actually believe that if someone were accused of paying hush money
00:04:03.040 to avoid a sex scandal in the matter that Donald Trump did,
00:04:07.260 that he would be prosecuted?
00:04:12.220 If, let's say, let's just pick somebody out of the air,
00:04:16.600 Bill Clinton, ever paid someone to be quiet about a sex scandal,
00:04:24.100 do you think Bill Clinton would have been prosecuted?
00:04:27.600 Not a chance.
00:04:28.480 Not a chance.
00:04:29.200 I mean, and this is, you're talking about a president.
00:04:31.500 I mean, think about a regular citizen.
00:04:34.380 A Hunter Biden, perhaps.
00:04:35.940 Perhaps, if he were to have done something in this realm, would he be prosecuted?
00:04:41.760 My guess is no.
00:04:44.080 My guess is no.
00:04:46.060 Now, there is a great article from the New York Sun that just sums it up this way.
00:04:56.320 The head of the KGB once said to Stalin,
00:05:00.080 Show me the man, and I will find you the crime.
00:05:04.220 J. Edgar Hoover said,
00:05:07.600 For my friends, everything.
00:05:09.820 For my enemies, the law.
00:05:12.800 Okay.
00:05:13.560 All right.
00:05:14.000 Well, that's kind of a problem.
00:05:16.320 But this is what we have.
00:05:18.180 We have a system that just wants to get Donald Trump.
00:05:25.060 Have you noticed the left is not actually talking about the crime or debating the crime?
00:05:32.000 Or is this a, is this is a federal crime?
00:05:37.140 How are they doing this in the state of New York?
00:05:39.580 Nobody's talking about principles here.
00:05:41.740 The left is all saying, well, we told you he'd go to jail for something.
00:05:48.040 That's show me the man and I'll find the crime.
00:05:51.840 And that's exactly what's been going on.
00:05:54.560 By the way, Hillary Clinton was accused and she was convicted in a court of law for campaign finance for the crossfire hurricane.
00:06:13.320 Okay.
00:06:13.740 So they had to pay a fine for the crossfire hurricane debacle.
00:06:22.180 She didn't go to jail.
00:06:26.060 Nobody even talked about putting her in jail.
00:06:30.520 Why?
00:06:31.080 So why does Donald Trump?
00:06:33.060 What?
00:06:35.920 Here's the problem.
00:06:39.840 As I was thinking about what I was going to say to you today.
00:06:45.040 In normal times, I would say.
00:06:47.860 We should go to Washington.
00:06:50.380 We should stand.
00:06:52.180 In March.
00:06:54.760 But these are normal times.
00:06:57.620 I won't say that to you.
00:06:59.540 I'll say just the opposite.
00:07:01.320 Don't do it.
00:07:03.960 Because in normal times, when we would gather together, we would come with our families.
00:07:09.120 Now, people don't want to bring their families to things like this because, I don't know, you could have a crazy man or Ray Apps next to you.
00:07:24.220 I don't want to march with a bunch of people.
00:07:27.200 I don't know.
00:07:30.440 Now, whose fault is that?
00:07:32.060 Now, hear me out.
00:07:33.700 This is what's happening.
00:07:34.620 We have now been shown.
00:07:38.600 That, yeah, they'll do this to the president of the United States and they'll shut you up because they're just letting people languish in jail or in prison.
00:07:49.800 For January 6th, you saw what happened with a shaman.
00:07:54.960 Should he be in jail?
00:07:58.380 Of course not.
00:08:00.800 But he's a political prisoner.
00:08:03.100 All of this has been about politics.
00:08:05.480 We know now what happened with Fauci.
00:08:12.540 We know that he lied about the origin.
00:08:18.320 We know that he lied about doing experiments with the Wuhan lab.
00:08:22.960 He lied about it.
00:08:24.300 Has he gone to jail?
00:08:25.420 No.
00:08:26.040 Why?
00:08:26.460 Because it's political.
00:08:31.800 So how do we stand up for our rights?
00:08:35.480 When you have a government that doesn't care about your right to protest.
00:08:43.240 In fact, they use protest on their side, no matter how violent.
00:08:52.080 They'll burn cities down.
00:08:54.260 And then our vice president will help bail those people out.
00:09:00.500 And on our side, you'll have people who are wrongly accused.
00:09:09.920 And our GOP won't do jack.
00:09:13.140 Who are the people that have stood up for January 6th people?
00:09:21.700 Who stood up for them?
00:09:23.140 I mean, the wrongly accused.
00:09:24.780 The grandmas that, you know, went through hell and got a ticket for parading.
00:09:32.700 Or went to jail for parading.
00:09:38.460 Where is anybody?
00:09:41.660 See, the problem is not just the Democrats.
00:09:45.580 The problem is the Republicans.
00:09:48.280 The Republicans haven't done jack squat to make anyone feel like they have anyone in Washington
00:09:56.180 watching over their rights.
00:09:58.240 Who's watching our rights?
00:10:04.660 Governments are instituted among men to protect those rights.
00:10:10.700 That's the Declaration of Independence.
00:10:14.980 Who's protecting your right?
00:10:16.940 Do you feel comfortable going out and peacefully protesting in a group?
00:10:24.800 Do you feel comfortable that an FBI agent might be part of it and causes trouble or incites or a crazy person comes and incites people?
00:10:40.360 And that you wouldn't be targeted if you were in that crowd.
00:10:44.180 I don't feel comfortable.
00:10:46.940 You know why I don't feel comfortable?
00:10:49.920 Because nobody's looking at individual rights anymore.
00:10:54.520 You're just a collective.
00:10:56.220 You're just a bunch of those crazy Trump supporters that'll just do anything.
00:11:02.280 You know, those 90 million crazies.
00:11:05.500 You can't defend rights in a collective situation.
00:11:16.420 We are a country now of the collective.
00:11:20.660 You're innocent or guilty based on who you're with, what you believe.
00:11:27.040 So where's the GOP today?
00:11:44.520 If the GOP isn't raising hell,
00:11:48.980 I think we should be raising hell with them.
00:11:51.820 I don't need to leave the comfort of my home to protest.
00:11:58.760 Every single one of us, every single American.
00:12:06.300 I don't care who you who you support, who you don't support.
00:12:11.800 I don't care if you're a Trump supporter or not.
00:12:14.340 All of us should be on the phone today with our elected representative saying,
00:12:23.060 do you represent the Bill of Rights or not?
00:12:28.400 Because we're not comfortable going out and protesting and have our voices be heard
00:12:36.120 because we don't feel you, the GOP, will protect any of us.
00:12:42.080 Because you're cowards.
00:12:44.280 You're cowards.
00:12:45.680 You have long ago sold out the Bill of Rights.
00:12:52.680 You're not holding anyone responsible in the FBI.
00:12:58.100 You're having those hearings.
00:12:59.700 Good for you.
00:13:00.660 Good for you.
00:13:01.740 When are you going to wrap those up?
00:13:03.540 And then what happens?
00:13:05.140 We get a report and...
00:13:07.680 Who is the leader that is leading the charge to protect all Americans' rights?
00:13:20.680 The right to peacefully protest when a police officer does what they did to George Floyd?
00:13:29.760 And who will protect the right of the store owner or the homeowner
00:13:37.280 when that crowd or portions of that crowd decide to light it on fire?
00:13:46.740 You can't live in a society and be free if you don't have equal justice.
00:13:56.200 Do you know, the Bible has two rules for judges.
00:14:03.460 Two rules.
00:14:05.200 Two.
00:14:06.860 One of them is not to take bribes.
00:14:11.380 But that's the second one.
00:14:15.240 What do you think God says is the first rule that all judges must obey?
00:14:23.340 What's the first rule?
00:14:26.200 Judges will not look at the face of the accused or the defendant.
00:14:36.120 In other words, justice must be blind.
00:14:40.840 It doesn't matter who's sitting in that chair.
00:14:44.140 Your friend, your foe, a rich man or a poor man.
00:14:49.440 There's two rules.
00:14:51.220 And I know so much of America just doesn't believe in the Bible anymore.
00:14:57.020 That's fine.
00:14:58.460 Look at it as a just a great storybook.
00:15:02.940 Because it tells the story of what happens to civilizations when they violate these things over and over and over again.
00:15:11.900 Two rules.
00:15:13.900 Two rules.
00:15:14.720 Don't take any bribes.
00:15:17.080 Don't have any friends or enemies that you're judging.
00:15:20.540 Doesn't matter.
00:15:22.120 Doesn't matter who that person is.
00:15:23.900 Who's standing up for that?
00:15:31.820 Do you believe you if you were if you were a January 6th person?
00:15:39.360 Do you believe you would get a fair trial outside of Washington, D.C.?
00:15:46.360 I think so.
00:15:48.480 Probably.
00:15:50.080 Do you think you could get a fair trial in Washington, D.C.?
00:15:54.360 I don't.
00:15:57.320 I don't.
00:15:57.780 That's a problem.
00:16:03.600 You have no republic.
00:16:07.180 You have no democracy.
00:16:11.360 If these things are allowed to stand.
00:16:14.920 And it is time to be very clear with the GOP.
00:16:18.780 Very clear with every elected official.
00:16:21.060 If you're not raising holy hell right now.
00:16:26.480 When will you?
00:16:29.620 When will you?
00:16:31.220 What do they have to violate for you to stand up?
00:16:36.380 Last week they violated all common sense.
00:16:41.020 They violated all rules of law.
00:16:44.820 They just bailed a bank out because they said that one's an important bank.
00:16:51.060 Well, what about all the local banks that you say aren't important, but they have 60% of our commercial loans?
00:17:01.780 60% all businesses, 60% of business is done through our local banks.
00:17:09.860 If you won't bail them out because, well, that's just a little bank.
00:17:15.680 Our entire economy collapses.
00:17:21.060 When's enough enough?
00:17:25.840 I suggest you call your GOP.
00:17:29.140 I suggest you call them locally.
00:17:31.660 I suggest you call them at the state level.
00:17:34.160 I suggest you call them at the capital level.
00:17:38.400 When will you stand for my rights?
00:17:44.800 Governments are instituted among men to protect those rights.
00:17:50.080 When will you stand?
00:17:53.280 What will it take?
00:17:55.100 I suggest you do it today.
00:17:59.600 Let me ask you something.
00:18:01.200 You're waking up every day frustrating that you have, you know, to face another day hurting.
00:18:05.980 Pain is your body's way of letting you know something's wrong.
00:18:09.540 Most of the time, what it's trying to tell you is something's wrong with your joints.
00:18:13.380 You have inflammation someplace.
00:18:15.480 And it's causing the pain.
00:18:18.180 And you can find ways to mask the pain.
00:18:20.840 But that doesn't work.
00:18:22.720 Masking the pain only makes things, you know, that's just telling your body, oh, yeah, turn off that car alarm because nobody's going to look anyway.
00:18:30.000 Maybe somebody should look.
00:18:32.080 It's your body's car alarm.
00:18:33.500 Here's how you can fight it.
00:18:38.380 Most of our pain comes from inflammation.
00:18:41.340 You can try Relief Factor.
00:18:43.980 70% of the people who try it go on to order more.
00:18:47.120 It directly attacks inflammation, which is the biggest source of pain and problems in our body.
00:18:54.920 Relieffactor.com.
00:18:56.000 Go there now.
00:18:56.800 Relieffactor.com.
00:18:57.780 Try it for three weeks.
00:18:59.120 800, the number four, Relief.
00:19:01.300 Get the three-week quick start now.
00:19:03.320 1995, Relieffactor.com.
00:19:05.900 800, the number four, Relief.
00:19:08.360 Relief Factor.
00:19:09.400 Feel the difference.
00:19:10.520 Ten seconds, Station ID.
00:19:21.720 Welcome back to Stu.
00:19:24.220 Wanted to make sure I got back into studio for the full societal collapse.
00:19:27.560 Yes.
00:19:27.820 You'll be here.
00:19:29.180 You'll be here.
00:19:29.780 Could happen at any time.
00:19:31.580 Yeah.
00:19:31.960 It's interesting that they're working so hard to go after Donald Trump.
00:19:37.700 And yet, last week, we now have evidence, proof, that the Chinese Communist Party was just sending checks to the Biden family.
00:19:51.440 We have proof now of it.
00:19:55.180 Anybody care?
00:19:56.420 Anybody care?
00:19:56.860 Anybody watch it?
00:19:58.000 Anybody care?
00:19:59.360 I do believe on CNN we did get some analysis on that front.
00:20:03.720 We did.
00:20:04.160 We did.
00:20:04.640 Could we play the CNN analysis, please?
00:20:07.540 On a certain level, just as a layperson, you hear this, and it doesn't sound good.
00:20:11.020 There's a guy whose name is John Robinson Walker.
00:20:13.900 He gets $3 million from a Chinese space company and proceeds to wire it out to a bunch of people named Biden, one of whom is Hunter Biden.
00:20:20.360 Another one is a company that belongs to the president's brother, James Biden, and another amount of money to Beau Biden's widow, Hallie.
00:20:28.120 So, again, from a layperson, that doesn't look good.
00:20:31.080 Yeah, from a layperson.
00:20:32.440 You know, from anybody, that doesn't look good.
00:20:34.780 I mean, what exactly is Hallie Biden bringing to the table for this Hong Kong energy company?
00:20:43.700 Oh, so much.
00:20:45.060 Right.
00:20:45.480 So much you can't describe.
00:20:47.320 You know, I love that because the insinuation is if a layperson might think it's important, a smart person, a person in the know, would realize, of course, it's not important.
00:20:58.580 That's how they frame the criticism.
00:21:00.700 Correct.
00:21:01.400 Around Biden.
00:21:03.100 And they lead you to the conclusion that they want, which is for you to not care about it.
00:21:07.580 Yeah.
00:21:07.920 And, you know, what's funny is when when Donald Trump was accused of a not perfect phone call.
00:21:14.960 Can you remember that?
00:21:15.980 I do remember.
00:21:16.360 I instructed my staff and I said to you on the air, I don't know.
00:21:20.180 We'll find out.
00:21:21.360 And if he if he did do something that he wouldn't, we're going to tell you about it and we'll be against it.
00:21:28.540 But let's find out.
00:21:30.880 And we did.
00:21:31.780 I mean, that I didn't say to you, well, it looks bad to a lay person, but we're smarter than you here in the press and the really smart people in Washington.
00:21:45.200 They really know.
00:21:47.020 First of all, wait, you said none of this was true.
00:21:52.620 None of this was true.
00:21:54.260 Then on Friday, Hunter sues the guy at the computer repair shop because he says, oh, you violated my privacy.
00:22:05.960 Well, you said it wasn't true.
00:22:07.400 And now, once again, well, it looks bad that checks were written to, you know, the daughter in law to a lay person, but a non lay person, an expert knows.
00:22:20.220 Oh, my gosh.
00:22:21.500 Or what she brought to the table for these Chinese communists and their their energy company.
00:22:28.400 It's it's it's beyond description.
00:22:32.000 In fact, as a lay person, I could describe it to you, but you wouldn't understand it because you're a lay person.
00:22:37.360 But just trust us.
00:22:38.880 There's nothing to see here.
00:22:40.580 More on the Donald Trump next.
00:22:43.440 All right.
00:22:43.740 I want to tell you about the U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Israel del Toro Jr.
00:22:49.700 In one horrific moment, his tour of Afghanistan, his Humvee exploded, leaving him with just severe burns over 80 percent of his body.
00:23:00.840 Doctors gave him a 15 percent chance of survival.
00:23:04.680 He did survive because he's a fighter.
00:23:07.960 I mean, a real fighter.
00:23:09.160 He later became the first disabled airman permitted to reenlist.
00:23:14.980 He has a gold medal that he took from the Invictus Games, too.
00:23:21.020 Today, he's on the road sharing his stories to help others.
00:23:25.820 Tunnel to Towers Foundation made sure that he and his family received a mortgage free smart home.
00:23:30.920 He has a ton of smart features that help him live more independently.
00:23:36.480 Will you help heroes like del Toro when they need it most?
00:23:41.480 Donate $11 a month to Tunnel to Towers.
00:23:44.260 That's T, the number two, T, dot org.
00:23:47.660 T, two, T, dot org.
00:23:50.280 It's Tunnel to Towers.
00:23:52.200 Check them out.
00:23:52.900 They are well worth your time and your contribution.
00:23:56.860 Head over to blazetv.com slash Glenn.

00:24:06.480 We are going to be talking to Chip Roy here in just a second.
00:24:16.180 Alan Dershowitz at the top of the hour on what is happening with Donald Trump.
00:24:22.280 What is what does this mean for the republic?
00:24:24.720 I know I have talked to people for years.
00:24:28.700 Mike Lee is one of them who said once they start putting their political foes either side.
00:24:35.140 Either side.
00:24:36.320 Once they start putting their political foes into jail, it opens up a can of worms and you never go back.
00:24:43.960 And we become a banana republic.
00:24:45.880 By the way, a former FDIC chairman says the U.S. banking system is now nearing another Bear Stearns moment.
00:25:01.220 Bear Stearns, if you remember, they were, I think they were bailed out, right?
00:25:09.020 They were bailed out Bear Stearns and then didn't bail out Lehman Brothers and the whole thing spun out of control.
00:25:18.820 And it took about four or five months in between the two of them.
00:25:22.820 But that was the beginning of it.
00:25:26.200 Well, we are headed for something really bad.
00:25:30.940 And I am hoping I said to you last week that I didn't think that this was I didn't think this was the the moment that it all comes undone.
00:25:40.560 But it might be.
00:25:42.060 And I'll give you the case for that coming up in just a little while.
00:25:45.300 Right now, we have Chip Roy on with us.
00:25:47.500 Hello, Chip.
00:25:47.960 How are you, sir?
00:25:49.420 Good morning, Glenn.
00:25:50.040 I hope you're doing well.
00:25:50.820 Well, honestly, Chip, I I'm worried about just about everything.
00:25:56.840 I'm worried about war.
00:25:58.560 I'm worried about the supply chains.
00:26:01.120 I'm worried about the banks.
00:26:02.480 And now I'm really worried about our republic.
00:26:06.840 I mean, I think this is a banana republic kind of moment for us with the indictment possibly of of President Trump.
00:26:17.140 Yeah, look, this this is what happens when you've got Democrats in charge of everything.
00:26:20.820 All right.
00:26:21.040 And this is something we should all be concerned and worried about.
00:26:24.200 You're right.
00:26:24.600 The banking situation is real.
00:26:26.000 The situation around the world and the rattling with Russia and China getting together and meeting is real.
00:26:30.620 Our energy situation that they're killing with their climate fetish is real.
00:26:35.120 The wide open borders are real.
00:26:37.020 This is having real consequences on Americans.
00:26:38.860 And now you're pointing out, rightly, that we've got a two tier or multi tier justice system where you've got a radical Manhattan D.A.
00:26:48.140 clearly doing the bidding of leftists in New York to basically trump up, so to speak, and go, you know, find a charge to levy against the former president because the feds passed on it.
00:27:01.340 I mean, think about that for a second.
00:27:02.600 The feds passed on what we're talking about here, probably because they looked at Michael Cohen as being kind of a dubious witness.
00:27:10.480 But now they're going to go try to back into this thing with some sort of business records thing and try to turn this into a felony when at most it's maybe a misdemeanor.
00:27:20.820 I mean, look, at the end of the day, you cannot walk away from the fact that the former president clearly paid a porn star off to hush up right before an election.
00:27:31.420 Correct. That occurred. But when the prosecutors are trying to turn that, which seems to be a very personal thing that he wanted to deal with just to get, you know, off the table and turn that into a, you know, cause celeb to go after the former president.
00:27:48.300 Now you've got the politicization of the justice system, the rule of law, and you're turning into a banana republic.
00:27:55.080 This is why people don't understand how Chip Roy, who supported the America First agenda, but had issues with some of the things the president said and done, and that I support Ron DeSantis.
00:28:05.360 But yet this weekend I was blasting the Manhattan DA because they're politicizing the district attorney's office.
00:28:12.780 Look, man, we're all going to be dead and gone in 20, 40, 50 years.
00:28:16.240 We've got to save this republic for our kids and grandkids, and the rule of law matters, and the rule of law can only be supported if you're not politicizing it.
00:28:23.480 And again, I'm not brushing aside what could be a misdemeanor. I don't know. I haven't seen the indictment. It's not out yet.
00:28:29.580 But it's clearly a politicized effort to target the former president. That's wrong, and it should send chills up the spine of every American about our justice system.
00:28:39.220 Because if they can do it to him, they can go after anyone, you know, for some breach of some of the thousands of statutes out there that have been passed wantonly for decades.
00:28:49.880 Well, what concerns me here is that, you know, the president said, you know, I hope that people are out in the street protesting.
00:28:58.640 People aren't going to be out in the street because if they're doing this to the president, we know what they did to grandmas who, you know, spent time in jail for parading was the charge on January 6th.
00:29:13.620 I want the bad guys of January 6th to go to jail. I want the people who weren't part of some conspiracy or revved up by people like Ray Epps to, you know, go free.
00:29:26.120 We have a system here where, quite honestly, Chip, I don't think the GOP is standing up for our rights enough.
00:29:36.440 I just don't see the understanding that our republic is over if we don't stop the administration from just making up new laws, bailing out banks because they decide they can and others they don't want to.
00:29:58.680 We have no law. And for the feds to pass on this, for this district attorney to originally pass on this and now come back to it as a I got the guy.
00:30:12.260 Let me find the crime. We got nothing left. Where when when will the GOP come together and say this is a real problem and we've got to stand up for the bill of rights?
00:30:27.420 Yeah, Glenn, you're you're you're preaching my language, brother, and I mean it.
00:30:33.060 You know, I have been pushing my colleagues that we have got to be aggressive, aggressive in going after how the bureaucracy in Washington and generally in government is being weaponized against the American people.
00:30:47.940 You brought up January 6th. You can be an American and believe what you just said, which is exactly right, Glenn,
00:30:55.040 that there were people there who made some really stupid mistakes and should be punished for it.
00:31:00.660 And there were some people there who are being railroaded by politicized, quote unquote, justice, shoved through a system, left in jail, targeted for, you know, parading and so forth.
00:31:12.380 And you can you can believe two things at the same time. You can believe that the president made a mistake and, you know, is, you know, having to deal with that by paying off again a porn star for a tryst or an alleged tryst right before an election,
00:31:26.560 but not believe that you should have a Manhattan DA, as you just said, who is now going after a, quote, falsifying business records, which is a misdemeanor under New York law and trying to turn it into a felony by trying to connect it to saying it was in committing another crime,
00:31:42.980 but trying to use essentially the federal crime as the other crime, which is the federal crime, the federal law enforcement chose not to pursue.
00:31:51.620 Look, this is banana republic stuff. We have an obligation to save this country and defend the rule of law.
00:31:58.580 That is why I took the path of saying that we should actually stand up and accept the electors two years ago.
00:32:05.320 That was hard to do because a lot of my Trump supporters were like, hey, why are you doing this?
00:32:10.280 You know why? Because I had 50 sets of electors and I had an obligation to process 50 slates of electors.
00:32:17.400 I believe that you've got to objectively try to go fight for the rule of law if you want to save this republic for our kids and grandkids,
00:32:25.120 no matter what the political ramifications and realities are.
00:32:28.880 Yes.
00:32:29.140 The last point I want to make is we cannot, as Republicans, unilaterally disarm while these ass clowns are destroying our republic.
00:32:37.380 And that's what they're doing.
00:32:38.300 They're doing it with a climate fetish, killing energy in America.
00:32:42.100 They're doing it abroad by weakening us and engaging in endless wars.
00:32:46.160 And then we're getting our butts kicked by China while they're building their navy.
00:32:50.100 And we're running around talking about how great the defense is in terms of being woke and diversity, equity and inclusion.
00:32:55.880 And we're doing the number one agenda is making sure we're not impacting the climate.
00:32:59.580 That's what your defense department is doing.
00:33:01.980 And you're losing recruiting.
00:33:03.220 Look, we need to shake the whole system as Republicans.
00:33:06.580 We need to get out and say we're not going to spend another dollar.
00:33:09.760 We're not going to borrow another dollar.
00:33:11.420 We're not going to spend another dollar unless we stop funding crazy.
00:33:15.560 We're going to take back this system right now.
00:33:18.420 And my message to Republicans is good luck getting something to the rules committee with me on it.
00:33:22.820 We're not blasting them from here to kingdom come if they don't stop funding the very things that you and I are talking about, undermining our freedom.
00:33:31.300 Fund a strong defense.
00:33:32.920 Stop funding this woke, weaponized garbage.
00:33:35.940 Undermine and, you know, let's make the FBI, you know, feel like they've been, you know, totally undermined and lost their power rather than getting a new $400 million headquarters in Maryland.
00:33:48.400 Right.
00:33:48.680 We should do our job in defense of the American people.
00:33:52.520 Well, I'm glad to hear you say that.
00:33:54.500 And I knew that's what you would say because you have been blasting the GOP.
00:33:58.800 But I am urging my listeners to call every member of the House and the Senate and everybody they know that's in with the GOP from the local level all the way to the top.
00:34:10.460 Say, I'm done with you if you don't start defending the Constitution of the United States.
00:34:19.160 I'm done.
00:34:20.460 This clearly people are undermining.
00:34:24.300 Governments are instituted among men to protect these rights.
00:34:29.560 When I don't feel comfortable marching in the United States of America, I don't feel comfortable that I wouldn't be swept up into some sting operation or trumped up charges.
00:34:44.220 That's a problem.
00:34:46.000 This is supposed to be the freest nation.
00:34:48.080 When France can have demonstrations and they go ugly and you have the people who are being arrested, the ones who were causing the problem and the other people go free and we don't feel we have that here.
00:35:03.660 There's a real problem, a real problem.
00:35:06.840 And Glenn, here's the question that every Republican should be asked when all of your listeners call in.
00:35:11.840 Just literally ask them, why on earth should they fund the expansion of the IRS to the tune of $80 billion?
00:35:18.960 Why should they fund the continued payment of welfare to people not working and expansion of Medicaid to people not working?
00:35:25.680 Why should they fund the new $400 million headquarters for the FBI?
00:35:28.960 Why should they fund COVID vaccine mandates and discrimination still going on as we speak at DOD?
00:35:35.880 Why should they fund a VA that is changing its motto to eliminate the President Lincoln quote, which said to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and for his orphan.
00:35:46.980 They want to, you know, politically correct that and take the his out.
00:35:50.740 Why are we funding the World Health Organization?
00:35:52.880 Why are we funding gender transition and other similar programs?
00:35:56.060 Why would we fund the Manhattan D.A.'s office to politicize the prosecution of a former president?
00:36:01.980 Why would we continue to fund the massive Department of Homeland Security that is literally ignoring the law and exposing American people to 72,000 dead fentanyl Americans and actually killing migrants in the process?
00:36:15.260 I'm sick of it, Glenn.
00:36:16.500 And Republicans better get religion this year or there will be no Republican Party.
00:36:20.280 And over my dead body, are we going to pass garbage this year that doesn't change it?
00:36:24.780 God bless you, Chip.
00:36:26.480 Thank you very much.
00:36:27.880 We'll keep you in our prayers.
00:36:29.640 Thank you.
00:36:30.640 Chip Roy from the great state of Texas.
00:36:33.680 One of the guys who actually means what he says.
00:36:38.040 All right.
00:36:38.660 Let me tell you about my Patriot supply.
00:36:40.740 Where do you stand on the on the word unthinkable?
00:36:43.680 Do you think any of this could have happened a year ago?
00:36:48.120 Would you imagine we're in exactly this situation?
00:36:52.680 We are looking at an energy crisis.
00:36:54.940 We are looking at war with not only Russia, but also with China, possibly even now the Middle East.
00:37:00.940 We are we've got a president who might be arrested this week on charges that the feds already passed on.
00:37:11.580 A banking system that is on the edge.
00:37:15.080 I'm telling you, there are so many ways that this thing can come apart.
00:37:19.900 Please call my Patriot supply.
00:37:22.580 Now, I'm going to give you I'm just running late already, but I'm going to give you a perspective on what's happening with the banking situation.
00:37:34.720 And I'm not telling you something that I I'm not doing myself.
00:37:38.440 I told my wife last night, honey, we've got to go to Costco and we just got to stock up on food, because if this, God forbid, is the moment, you better be prepared.
00:37:53.100 Luckily, my Patriot supply, we have enough food for anything that we would would happen to us.
00:38:00.620 You know, in a long term situation, we want you to be prepared with my Patriot supply as well.

00:38:28.400 Please prepare yourself.
00:38:31.080 It's my Patriot supply dot com.
00:38:33.340 Call them now.
00:38:34.140 My Patriot supply dot com.
00:38:37.260 This is the Glenn Beck program.
00:38:55.080 Or or hello and welcome to the program.
00:38:59.680 We're glad you're here.
00:39:00.360 So word is that President Biden spoke to Warren Buffett about the banking crisis.
00:39:09.220 Now, Warren Buffett was involved in 2008, made a lot of money by bailing out banks.
00:39:16.520 And word is that he got a call about the banks on Friday or Saturday.
00:39:22.100 And then I noticed yesterday that there on Twitter, someone was watching the private jets that are landing in Omaha, Nebraska yesterday.
00:39:34.160 And it is unusual for this number of jets to arrive at this little FBO.
00:39:40.880 There was five that landed at 10 a.m., three at 2 p.m., five at 3.30, five at five, six at 6.15, three at 7.30.
00:39:51.340 And it looked as though these jets were bringing people there and then they would fly away and then come back with more people.
00:40:02.520 And the other people that had been dropped off the last time get on the plane.
00:40:06.740 New people get off the plane.
00:40:08.180 And it looks like there were meetings and they're guessing it was all they were mainly net jets, which is owned by Buffett.
00:40:15.880 It they're guessing that this was regional banks that were coming in.
00:40:21.640 And Warren Buffett was talking to them about possible bailouts.
00:40:27.240 Oh, this is good, because this is this is why I come to the Glenn Beck program on a day like today.
00:40:32.860 Right.
00:40:33.220 I want to hear when I can schedule societal collapse, because it feels like we are we're having a little bit of a we're bumping into that.
00:40:44.300 There's going to be a critical leak.
00:40:45.620 This is just going to be credit.
00:40:47.320 Suisse is just.
00:40:48.760 Yeah.
00:40:49.200 Gone.
00:40:49.720 Gone.
00:40:50.160 That's kind of a big name.
00:40:51.640 Yeah.
00:40:51.920 Absorbed.
00:40:52.900 Absorbed.
00:40:53.500 Absorbed.
00:40:54.180 And yeah, that's kind of a big thing.
00:40:56.160 You know, multiple big banks here going down.
00:40:59.220 Yeah.
00:40:59.700 It does feel like we've used all of our bullets to stop any oncoming.
00:41:04.800 Wait until I give you the real word on that.
00:41:08.320 We'll do that next hour.
00:41:09.500 I'll give you all the numbers from last week.
00:41:11.720 It is a critical week to just be careful.
00:41:16.280 Watch.
00:41:17.040 Be aware.
00:41:17.940 Critical week.
00:41:19.240 Also, Alan Dershowitz next program.
00:41:21.100 In the 1960s, 95% of the clothing Americans bought made right here in America today, 97% made overseas.
00:41:34.700 That's a complete reversal.
00:41:36.980 I welcome American Giant back as a sponsor this year.
00:41:41.580 American Giant is all about American workers and the products that they make.
00:41:46.320 It's about good paying jobs that allow people to take pride in their hard work for what they do.
00:41:52.100 They began in 2012 when a clothing factory in North Carolina was going to shut down.
00:41:56.900 And they worked with the factory and decided, let's invest in new machinery and skill development.
00:42:01.560 And they did.
00:42:02.820 And it's 10 years later and they make some of the best American clothing out there.
00:42:08.140 The best hoodie you'll ever own.
00:42:10.460 Ever.
00:42:11.220 Remember those cotton sweatshirts?
00:42:12.860 They don't make them like that anymore because we lost the machines.
00:42:15.700 Until American Giant brought them back and trained Americans how to make them again.
00:42:21.180 Buy American today.
00:42:22.840 American-giant.com slash Glenn.
00:42:25.920 That's American-giant.com slash Glenn.
00:42:45.700 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
00:43:14.760 What you're about to hear is the Glenn Beck Program.
00:43:23.500 All men are created equal.
00:43:26.240 They have inalienable rights that were granted by our Creator.
00:43:33.540 And governments are instituted among men to protect those rights.
00:43:39.200 It seems to me that justice is not blind.
00:43:53.240 Justice is saying, oh, you burned a city down, but you did it for the right reasons.
00:43:59.720 So, no penalty.
00:44:02.480 You, you broke the windows of the Capitol.
00:44:05.240 You did it for the wrong reasons.
00:44:07.500 So, real harsh penalty for you.
00:44:10.880 Hillary.
00:44:11.600 The crossfire hurricane thing.
00:44:14.920 Or these top-secret documents that you had your staff cut top-secret off in a skiff and sent them over the email to you.
00:44:26.580 Not a problem, but what is Donald Trump doing with that box of top-secret documents?
00:44:31.760 That's not protecting your rights, and you think it's being played out at this scale.
00:44:37.780 But if, if they'll do this to either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, doesn't matter which side was doing it,
00:44:44.780 you don't have a chance of them not doing it to you.
00:44:51.360 A violation of our civil rights, no matter what side it's on, is a violation of all of our civil rights.
00:45:02.260 And it's got to end.
00:45:04.360 All right, let's get some perspective on this from Alan Dershowitz and President Trump possibly being arrested this week.
00:45:16.340 We'll go there in 60 seconds.
00:45:19.300 So, I was, I was up at the ranch over the weekend and saw the cows and the cattle and some of, it's been a bad, bad, really bad winter in some areas of the country.
00:45:32.820 And some of my neighbors have lost 40% of their herd because of the weather.
00:45:40.640 That is just crazy, crazy amount.
00:45:45.580 We are now down to the smallest herd of cattle in America since 1960.
00:45:52.600 We got a lot more people to feed.
00:45:54.920 Would you do me a favor?
00:45:56.260 Would you consider buying your meat from GoodRanchers.com?

00:46:21.920 We're talking about $200 worth over the course of the year.
00:46:25.480 Beef prices are expected to go up another 15% by the end of this year.
00:46:30.620 But, as always, you'll lock your price in.
00:46:34.420 You'll never pay a higher price as long as you're subscribed to GoodRanchers.
00:46:38.980 So go to GoodRanchers.com.
00:46:41.460 That's GoodRanchers.com.
00:46:43.580 And use the promo code BECK.
00:46:47.280 Mr. Alan Dershowitz, how are you, sir?
00:46:50.340 I am doing great.
00:46:51.940 I wish the country were doing great.
00:46:54.060 I think that the impending prosecution of Donald Trump will destroy the rule of law in America,
00:47:00.800 which is why I wrote my book, Get Trump, because that's what they're doing.
00:47:05.720 They're focusing on a person rather than a crime.
00:47:09.300 You know, the Torah, the Bible, gives prosecutors and judges two instructions.
00:47:13.660 One, don't take bribes.
00:47:14.580 That's obvious.
00:47:15.100 The other is, lo takir ponim, do not recognize faces, do not do justice based on who the person is.
00:47:24.060 That's a prohibition in the Bible.
00:47:25.780 It's a prohibition in the Constitution.
00:47:27.500 It's a prohibition in the Bill of Rights.
00:47:29.280 It's a prohibition in the rule of law.
00:47:31.520 And yet the district attorney of Manhattan, ignoring previous district attorneys,
00:47:35.600 ignoring the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Justice Department,
00:47:39.020 is going after Bragg on a made-up crime, a crime that doesn't exist.
00:47:45.160 It's part of Get Trump.
00:47:47.360 And if you want to protest, Get Trump.
00:47:49.660 Get my book, Get Trump.
00:47:50.860 That'll send a message that we don't approve of that.
00:47:53.580 I tell you, I don't think people are going to go out in the streets and protest en masse,
00:47:58.940 which a few years ago, it would have happened.
00:48:02.360 But I don't think they're going to do it this time because we know this federal government,
00:48:08.060 this Justice Department, does not protect the lawful gathering of American citizens to speak their voice.
00:48:19.740 We also are concerned about, is that an FBI guy who is trying to get the crowd all whipped up into a frenzy?
00:48:28.600 I mean, we don't believe our rights are protected as an average citizen anymore.
00:48:34.760 That's a frightening place to be in America.
00:48:36.820 And it's not only the Justice Department.
00:48:39.440 It's the New York City DA's office, the New York City Attorney General's office.
00:48:43.740 The Attorney General of New York ran on the campaign of Get Trump.
00:48:47.680 That's where I got the title of my book from.
00:48:49.520 Her campaign, Get Trump.
00:48:51.240 She promised to get Trump no matter what.
00:48:54.000 Constitution be damned.
00:48:55.280 Bill of Rights be damned.
00:48:57.140 The rule of law be damned.
00:48:58.800 Get Trump.
00:48:59.480 That's the most important thing.
00:49:00.720 We have to stop him from running.
00:49:01.960 Of course, the irony is, even if they indict him and convict him, he can still run.
00:49:05.640 The Constitution provides for only a handful of bases for running after he's 35.
00:49:11.460 You have to not have fought in the Civil War against the North.
00:49:14.320 And you have to have been born in America.
00:49:16.160 And he satisfies all of those criteria so he can still run.
00:49:20.520 And this may backfire on Democrats who are abusing the law to get Trump.
00:49:26.100 And I hope it does.
00:49:27.580 And I hope that maybe the district attorney will listen to reason and not indict him, although
00:49:32.620 Trump has said that he's likely to be indicted tomorrow.
00:49:35.760 You know, Justice Jackson once said that any prosecutor can rummage through the hundreds
00:49:40.740 of statutes we have and try to find something against anybody, not just Trump, not just Hillary
00:49:47.300 Clinton, but you and me and your Uncle Charlie and your grandson.
00:49:51.140 They can find something.
00:49:53.060 And if this prosecution is allowed to go forward and culminate in a conviction, it will mean
00:49:59.480 that they will start making crimes up against the average person who they don't like.
00:50:04.480 Can you can you take us through this at all, Alan, where because people will say, OK, I
00:50:12.720 don't think you should be paying hush money, but is that illegal?
00:50:17.840 How are they?
00:50:18.660 What what charges are they going after?
00:50:21.460 Has this ever been done before?
00:50:24.240 Take us through this.
00:50:26.100 Sure.
00:50:26.240 It's never been done before.
00:50:27.480 Number one.
00:50:28.120 So they're charging him with a misdemeanor.
00:50:30.640 Misdemeanor has a two year statute of limitations.
00:50:32.740 This happened six years ago.
00:50:34.480 They're trying to turn the misdemeanor into a felony by saying that the reason he paid
00:50:39.900 quote hush money, it wasn't hush money, he settled the case like so many other people
00:50:43.260 do.
00:50:43.880 But the reason he settled the case was to help his campaign rather than to avoid embarrassment
00:50:50.200 with his wife and his family, his children, etc.
00:50:53.140 They're not going to be able to prove that.
00:50:55.340 But as the former chief judge of the New York Court of Appeals once said, a prosecutor can
00:51:00.040 get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.
00:51:02.900 And in New York, you can probably get a petty jury to convict a ham sandwich as long as his
00:51:09.120 name is Trump.
00:51:10.300 And so there is a possibility that he'll get indicted and get convicted.
00:51:14.040 I think it will be reversed on appeal because the law doesn't permit targeting of individuals
00:51:19.660 and making up crimes.
00:51:20.900 This is a Mickey Mouse crime.
00:51:22.780 So they say that he paid the hush money in order to help his campaign.
00:51:28.820 And therefore, the payment was a campaign contribution.
00:51:32.240 It's never been done before.
00:51:33.900 They tried it once before on candidate Edwards.
00:51:37.080 And it was a much, much stronger case.
00:51:39.060 And of course, they lost in front of a jury.
00:51:41.880 But it's never been tried since.
00:51:45.060 And that was a federal crime.
00:51:46.760 This is a state crime.
00:51:48.300 And it's a shame that a district attorney would abuse justice so, so greatly.
00:51:54.880 And it endangers justice for all of us.
00:51:58.340 So, Alan, where where is anyone?
00:52:01.340 I mean, when we get to a place to where we're taking out our opponents, I mean, I spoke to
00:52:07.380 Mike Lee about this with Hillary Clinton and what was going on with Hillary Clinton.
00:52:12.500 And he said, Glenn, once you start going after a opponent, you become a banana republic.
00:52:19.460 The republic is just over because because retribution will the other side will say, oh, we're playing
00:52:26.280 that game.
00:52:26.840 OK.
00:52:27.620 And then you're just done.
00:52:28.940 The head of a banana republic, one of the Central American dictators, once said, for
00:52:35.640 my friends, everything, for my enemies, the law, the law.
00:52:40.340 And that's what will happen.
00:52:42.540 And Senator Lee is right.
00:52:44.300 Senator Lee's father was a good friend of mine.
00:52:45.920 We clerked together on the United States Supreme Court.
00:52:48.620 And Lee is a brilliant, brilliant guy.
00:52:51.080 And he's right.
00:52:52.800 And we don't want to be a banana republic on either side.
00:52:56.260 And so.
00:52:56.820 But my question.
00:52:58.040 My question to you is, where are the classical liberals?
00:53:04.140 Where are the people that don't like Donald Trump, but will stand up and say this is about
00:53:10.440 principle here?
00:53:12.720 Well, you're talking to them.
00:53:14.400 I'm the last standing Democrat civil libertarian in the world.
00:53:19.160 Oh, I may have a handful of colleagues.
00:53:23.040 But where are the civil liberties union people?
00:53:26.680 Where are people who are supposed to care more about our liberty than they do about partisan
00:53:31.360 politics?
00:53:32.180 They have disappeared.
00:53:34.440 They're not there.
00:53:36.000 And that's why I'm the one writing the books now.
00:53:38.660 Get Trump.
00:53:39.260 I'm the one who's trying as a liberal Democrat.
00:53:41.640 As I've said over and over again, I voted against Trump twice.
00:53:44.760 I have a constitutional right to vote against him a third time.
00:53:47.980 And don't stop me from doing that.
00:53:49.960 It don't stop you from voting for him.
00:53:51.760 We shouldn't have district attorneys making the decision who can run for president.
00:53:57.460 That is banana republic.
00:53:58.980 And we're moving toward that.
00:54:01.340 And it has to stop.
00:54:02.660 And there's no mechanism.
00:54:04.420 You know, in California, there was a mechanism.
00:54:06.580 You could withdraw and remove the district attorney.
00:54:10.980 And if New York had a Republican governor, they would be removing the district attorney.
00:54:16.120 But with a Democratic governor and no recall provisions, you know, the district attorney gets
00:54:22.160 his way and there'll probably be an indictment.
00:54:24.140 I don't know if it'll be tomorrow or not.
00:54:26.020 I don't know if we'll do a perp walk and handcuffs.
00:54:28.280 All of that, of course, would strengthen Donald Trump's base.
00:54:33.120 People will be so angry with him.
00:54:34.760 I've gotten calls from people who've read my book, Get Trump.
00:54:37.740 And they say, look, we're planning not to vote for Trump.
00:54:41.240 We're planning to vote for DeSantis.
00:54:42.660 We're planning to vote for Nikki Haley.
00:54:44.960 But we're going to vote for Trump because that's the way of showing opposition to this
00:54:49.920 improper misuse and weaponization of the law.
00:54:54.340 You know, I have a better form of protest by my book.
00:54:56.580 Then you don't have to vote for Trump.
00:54:58.040 But it is it will backfire.
00:55:03.220 Now, will it backfire in New York?
00:55:04.920 Probably not.
00:55:05.660 Probably Bragg increases his chances of getting elected.
00:55:09.280 He gets his 15 minutes of fame.
00:55:11.620 Even if it's reversed on appeal, he'll say, oh, that's not my fault.
00:55:14.840 That's the appellate judges.
00:55:15.960 I indicted him.
00:55:16.780 I convicted him.
00:55:17.960 Vote for me.
00:55:18.640 You know, we're the only country.
00:55:21.060 Do you know this?
00:55:21.560 That we're the only country in the Western Hemisphere, the only country in among Democratic
00:55:27.000 countries that elects prosecutors, elects prosecutors in every other country.
00:55:32.360 They are civil service jobs and they're not subject to the whims of political fortunes.
00:55:39.660 But we have elected prosecutors and prosecutors prosecute people based on how much good it
00:55:46.800 will do them in the next election.
00:55:48.340 And there's something very wrong with that.
00:55:50.480 Well, the whole system.
00:55:51.660 I mean, I just keep saying, you know, have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back
00:55:57.700 in and reset it to factory settings?
00:56:00.680 I mean, that's what has that.
00:56:03.040 That's what has to happen.
00:56:04.420 It is so dirty all the way through.
00:56:09.180 So, so, Alan, what what should the besides buying your your book?
00:56:15.400 What should the American people be doing right now?
00:56:21.960 Well, we should be protesting.
00:56:24.400 I don't call for people going out on the streets, but I do call for people writing to their senators,
00:56:29.140 their congressmen, to the New York authorities, having shows like yours.
00:56:33.960 Which have a big impact on national opinion and make sure that we're not silent about this.
00:56:41.180 We have to speak out.
00:56:42.400 And your message is as clear as can be.
00:56:44.900 Where are the civil libertarians?
00:56:47.120 Where are the people who would be saying, look, I'm in favor of Biden.
00:56:50.000 I'm going to vote for him.
00:56:51.180 I don't like Trump, but I don't like the way he's being treated.
00:56:53.860 That's just not fair.
00:56:55.600 That's the American way.
00:56:57.020 The American way is to protest, to to to petition your government for a redress of grievances.
00:57:03.640 That's in the First Amendment.
00:57:05.060 And we ought to all take advantage of that.
00:57:07.660 We do have a double standard of of justice in America today.
00:57:10.940 I'm representing one of the young men on January 6th.
00:57:14.400 He's a law school student.
00:57:15.460 He was denied the opportunity to graduate, even though he was a top student, because he went to the Capitol to legitimately protest patriotically and peacefully.
00:57:24.020 And then he was waved into the Capitol by police.
00:57:26.940 We have videotapes showing it.
00:57:29.240 And yet he's being prosecuted for a felony, whereas the people who destroyed property and hurt people in various parts of the country following the George Floyd murder weren't being prosecuted and were being honored in some ways.
00:57:44.220 And so you can't have a double standard of justice.
00:57:47.160 That means no standard of justice.
00:57:49.120 Alan, do you have just five more minutes for me?
00:57:51.900 Yeah.
00:57:52.060 OK, hang on.
00:57:53.000 Let me take one minute.
00:57:53.820 We're coming back with Alan Dershowitz in 60 seconds.
00:57:56.800 If you wake up every day feeling like you got hit by a truck, you have aches and pains that control your life.
00:58:03.660 May I suggest I've spent years fighting pain myself in my hands.
00:58:08.140 I could barely use my hands.
00:58:09.820 I couldn't paint.
00:58:11.080 And I don't know if you've seen me lately in the number of paintings that I have been painting.
00:58:17.420 But I can use my hands again and I don't feel like they've been clubbed or, you know, a piano dropped on them all the time.
00:58:26.800 And that came from Relief Factor.
00:58:29.060 Try their three-week quick start.
00:58:30.400 1995 trial pack.
00:58:31.880 Not a drug.

00:58:45.540 ReliefFactor.com or call 800-4-RELIEF.
00:58:49.160 Relief Factor.
00:58:50.100 Feel the difference.
00:58:52.020 10 seconds.
00:58:52.740 Station ID.
00:58:53.200 So we're with Alan Dershowitz.
00:59:03.040 Alan, let me change the subject here to another family's troubles.
00:59:08.820 And this one is the Biden family.
00:59:11.520 With what you're seeing Comer come out with and just looking at it at the surface, what are your thoughts on this?
00:59:19.700 Well, there has to be an investigation, a thorough investigation, an objective investigation.
00:59:25.200 Look, I don't want to see anybody targeted.
00:59:27.820 But the way the criminal justice system works is first you find the crime.
00:59:33.040 We're crimes committed.
00:59:34.320 Then you look for who did the crime.
00:59:36.000 You don't look to find crimes on particular people.
00:59:39.000 So there should be a thorough and complete investigation.
00:59:42.420 And whoever is guilty should be prosecuted.
00:59:45.060 But it should be done not on a partisan political basis.
00:59:48.060 It should be done on the basis of just fair justice.
00:59:50.940 So why would his team say, because they've said forever that it wasn't his laptop, wasn't his laptop.
00:59:57.000 Why would they now go in and try to say to sue the guy from the computer repair store and say, you violated my privacy?
01:00:07.700 It's a very hard line to draw to say it wasn't my laptop, but I have standing to protest it's being obtained.
01:00:16.940 Also, when you bring a counterclaim, as he did, you open yourself up to massive discovery.
01:00:22.980 And so he'll be deposed.
01:00:24.520 There'll be interrogatories.
01:00:26.540 He'll be asked questions about his father.
01:00:28.600 It was not, I think, the wisest decision for him to bring this lawsuit.
01:00:34.520 And I don't know who advised him to do it.
01:00:36.460 I would not have advised him to do it.
01:00:39.460 And when you have something like the family getting paid by an energy company, does anybody, I mean, how does that work?
01:00:51.040 You could say, well, yeah, they were on payroll.
01:00:53.240 But what was Hallie Biden bringing to this communist energy company?
01:00:58.720 Well, there are cases, prosecutions, where people have been prosecuted for fake jobs, for jobs for which they were not qualified.
01:01:08.620 And the investigation is to determine whether they would disguise bribes.
01:01:13.140 That's a fair point to investigate.
01:01:15.740 But the proof has to be beyond a reasonable doubt that it was.
01:01:19.460 I mean, you can make the argument that, yeah, they were hired not because they had this brilliant talent, but because they were well-connected.
01:01:28.000 Well, that's done all the time.
01:01:29.640 You have to show something beyond that.
01:01:31.260 You have to show essentially a quid pro quo.
01:01:33.680 And that might not be easy to do.
01:01:35.540 But having an investigation, getting to the bottom of it, that's also the American way.
01:01:40.720 So can I ask you another question on another topic?
01:01:42.940 This is on the financial situation.
01:01:45.260 Our FDIC just decided with the Treasury that they were going to cover everything, all deposits.
01:01:51.060 But then they came out and said, well, but we're just going to decide which banks get that treatment.
01:01:58.280 That's causing all kinds of confusion.
01:02:00.480 That's not the way we do business in America.
01:02:03.300 We have laws and rules.
01:02:05.980 And is there any violation of anything here?
01:02:11.180 It has to be a single standard.
01:02:13.780 And there you can bring lawsuits and lawsuits against the FDIC, lawsuits against the government.
01:02:19.040 It has to be a single standard.
01:02:20.720 You can't say we pick and choose among depositors and banks.
01:02:25.660 And I think in the end, they will cover everybody.
01:02:28.640 It's in the best interests of America to make sure that no individual depositor loses money.
01:02:37.200 Investors, sure.
01:02:38.580 People who are speculating on the stock, we're not protecting them.
01:02:42.680 But we have to protect the typical American who puts her retirement in a bank, an IRA or something like that.
01:02:50.540 Does that mean that –
01:02:51.600 That has to be a –
01:02:52.480 Does that also include businesses?
01:02:56.100 Yeah, I think it includes businesses.
01:02:58.380 You can have a limit.
01:02:59.760 And there are limits, of course, on FDIC insurance.
01:03:02.900 So, the big, big, giant companies probably are only covered to a small amount.
01:03:08.760 I'm not an expert in it.
01:03:10.020 Yeah, yeah.
01:03:10.420 I know.
01:03:10.820 I make sure to keep my money spread around to make sure that if there's any failure, it doesn't impact me greatly.
01:03:18.280 Right.
01:03:18.400 I think Americans should always take precautions with their investments.
01:03:23.060 Alan, thank you so much.
01:03:24.960 Oh, it's always my pleasure.
01:03:26.120 Keep doing great things.
01:03:27.220 Thank you.
01:03:27.760 The name of the book is Get Trump.
01:03:30.580 He is the host of The Dershow, which is a podcast.
01:03:34.420 Alan Dershowitz.
01:03:35.300 I don't always agree with him, but I will tell you, I always expect to hear the Constitution from him and a protection of civil liberties and rights.
01:03:48.840 Even though we can disagree with each other greatly, he is very, very rare.
01:03:56.180 And we need more people like that on both sides.
01:03:59.320 On both sides.
01:04:00.700 You know, paying off a hooker.
01:04:02.660 I mean, a porn star.
01:04:04.880 Not a good idea.
01:04:06.780 Not a good idea.
01:04:07.660 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:04:09.500 Go to jail?
01:04:10.720 A felony?
01:04:11.740 No.
01:04:12.460 It's a misdemeanor.
01:04:14.000 Let me tell you about to pre-born.
01:04:15.720 If the left spent half as much energy fighting for good causes in this country as they do fighting to maintain the murderous institution of abortion, they'd be heroes of the republic.
01:04:27.160 I just think they're on the wrong side.
01:04:29.200 The overturning of Roe versus Wade.
01:04:31.460 We're looking at nearly one in five pregnancies ending in abortion.
01:04:36.700 Over half of those abortions will come in the form of the abortion pill.
01:04:41.220 The abortion pill is...
01:04:44.120 I've got a story on that.
01:04:45.240 Well, it's in show prep today.
01:04:46.780 You can read it today.
01:04:47.840 It's going to be a few days before I can get to it.
01:04:50.320 But you should read it at glenbeck.com.
01:04:54.320 This is just a bloodbath in America with this abortion pill.
01:04:59.980 Listen.
01:05:00.780 For $28, you can provide a mom who comes in and says, I think I want to get an abortion.
01:05:07.480 For $28, you can give them a free ultrasound.
01:05:10.180 And that changes like 60% or 80% of the people that come in and say they want an abortion.
01:05:17.520 It changes their mind.
01:05:19.320 Help them hear the heartbeat and see their baby.
01:05:21.600 Dial pound 250.
01:05:22.720 Say the keyword baby.
01:05:24.000 Pound 250.
01:05:25.000 Or preborn.com slash Beck.
01:05:27.620 Sponsored by Preborn.
01:05:28.880 If you're a longtime listener of this program, you know that I am always concerned about the financial crisis.
01:05:47.760 It stems back to 2008, which I thought at the time, back in 2006 and 2007, I was telling you this, a big one, could cause a depression.
01:05:59.440 What I didn't foresee is that the federal government would, what was it George Bush said, violate the free market system to save the free market system.
01:06:07.500 Instead, we did not save the free market system.
01:06:12.300 What we did was make the problem bigger.
01:06:15.400 At the time, in 2008, our banks were too big.
01:06:18.640 They're too big to fail.
01:06:20.280 We've got to break these big banks up.
01:06:22.320 Well, nobody did that in 2008.
01:06:24.660 In fact, the opposite happened.
01:06:26.280 They got bigger.
01:06:27.260 And now what's happening?
01:06:28.840 They're bailing things out and making the bigger banks even bigger.
01:06:33.680 Credit Suisse just rolled into another bank.
01:06:36.300 This is what's going to happen.
01:06:38.700 They're just going to start.
01:06:40.240 We're going to end up with four banks and then we'll end up with the Fed.
01:06:43.720 Okay.
01:06:45.100 And by violating the free market, everything went off the rails.
01:06:51.820 Last week, banks borrowed a combined $164.8 billion from two Federal Reserve backstop facilities.
01:07:01.040 And so you know, data published by the Fed showed $152.85 billion in borrowing from the discount window.
01:07:13.760 Then they did a record high from $4.85 billion the previous week.
01:07:21.480 So they went from $5 billion to $152 billion in a week.
01:07:28.900 The prior all-time high was in 2008.
01:07:33.140 And that's when the banks got together and they borrowed $111 billion.
01:07:37.840 That was at the height of the financial crisis.
01:07:42.060 Remember, we're not in a financial crisis.
01:07:44.540 We had a little bump in the road.
01:07:45.780 Everything is fine.
01:07:46.520 They borrowed $152 billion.
01:07:49.560 So, what, $41 billion more than they did in 2008.
01:07:53.960 To be fair, with inflation, that $111 billion is $94 trillion today.
01:07:58.780 The data also showed $11.9 billion in borrowing from the new emergency backstop,
01:08:05.080 known as the Bank Term Funding Program, which was launched last week.
01:08:09.200 Other credit extensions totaled $142.8 billion.
01:08:16.800 So, you got all that happening in the background of everybody telling you that it is fine.
01:08:26.520 I want you to know, if you're a long-time listener, you know that I freak out about these things.
01:08:30.400 I said last week, I don't think this is it, but it's going to look a lot like this when it does come.
01:08:38.400 And I want to spend just a couple of minutes here talking to you about what is coming eventually.
01:08:50.820 I could be wrong.
01:08:52.960 This could be it.
01:08:54.840 I don't think it is.
01:08:56.620 But I am growing more cautious by seeing what's happening behind the scenes.
01:09:01.740 Lots of planes, lots of planes flew in to see Warren Buffett over the weekend.
01:09:08.740 After Warren Buffett had a phone call with Joe Biden about the banking system,
01:09:13.420 all these people, we don't know who they are, and we think they went and met with Warren Buffett.
01:09:19.780 We don't know.
01:09:21.220 But what I do know is in 2008, we were trying to stop a depression.
01:09:27.040 Remember, they said the entire banking system was about to collapse, and it would have put us in a depression.
01:09:34.720 There's $23 trillion in the U.S. banking system today, and everything is interconnected.
01:09:41.780 The contagion, meaning one bank falls, then it's dominoes, it goes across the water, and it will collapse everything unless you're disconnected.
01:09:56.420 Hello, Russia.
01:09:57.620 Unless you're disconnected from that banking system.
01:10:00.800 The banks were saved in 2008, but just that crisis, with them being saved, we had unemployment at nearly 11%.
01:10:14.620 We are now looking at a bigger problem if it fails.
01:10:21.820 We're looking first at our big local and regional banks.
01:10:27.800 The government will have to bail them out.
01:10:30.420 By the way, do not take your money out of those banks.
01:10:34.740 You will be FDIC insured.
01:10:37.580 If you're a business, check with a bank.
01:10:40.820 But don't take your money out because that will collapse the system.
01:10:45.120 They provide 60% of all of our commercial loans.
01:10:50.020 If the small banks collapse, 60% of all of our loans and our businesses collapse.
01:11:00.000 Be very, very bad.
01:11:02.680 We are not looking at a depression situation.
01:11:06.480 We are looking at a complete collapse of the West if this happens.
01:11:12.300 You'll have social unrest, but I think you're already, I mean, the government is souping this up already.
01:11:19.460 It will happen not only here, but all over the Western world.
01:11:23.680 That will cause a further breakdown of supply chains.
01:11:27.840 If you lose 60% of your business funding for your businesses in your country, what does that mean?
01:11:35.960 It means you're going to have lots of people without jobs.
01:11:40.020 They're not making things, which then what happens?
01:11:44.440 If you have the supply chain, you first need to worry about medicine and food because that will be of a real concern.
01:11:51.100 But if businesses lose their capital, they lose their ability to produce products and services.
01:11:57.340 They lose their ability to employ.
01:11:59.720 People lose their jobs.
01:12:01.060 That would make for worse inflation, maybe hyperinflation because the federal government will bail everybody out.
01:12:12.980 And all of that money will be circulating and fewer goods.
01:12:18.220 If the global economy would collapse, fewer goods will be coming in.
01:12:22.880 So the price of those goods could go to hyperinflation.
01:12:26.240 The issue is that the middle class, the working class, the poor class, they're the ones who are going to bear the brunt of most of this.
01:12:37.420 Last time around from 2007 to 2011, 5.7 million people had their houses foreclose or short sale.
01:12:48.060 We are looking at a possible and I really, truly believe this will happen before 2025.
01:12:57.140 So you need to mentally prepare.
01:12:59.940 This is a completely different world if this happens.
01:13:03.900 And if it happens, it will happen quickly.
01:13:08.020 We are headed towards a currency reset.
01:13:11.060 If it is a cryptocurrency, if it is a central bank digital coin, CBDC, we're going to get bargaining.
01:13:27.220 And here's what's going to happen.
01:13:28.720 The government will step in and say, this is too big for anybody else to handle.
01:13:33.400 We'll handle it with the Fed.
01:13:35.280 We're resetting the currency.
01:13:37.160 It's going to be a digital dollar.
01:13:40.220 It'll be in the Fed.
01:13:42.420 Every American has an account now with the Fed.
01:13:46.340 We will give you more than what your dollar is worth right now for the first, I don't know, eight weeks.
01:13:53.940 Your dollar will be worth $1.25.
01:13:57.520 So get your digital currency now.
01:14:00.620 And in six weeks, it's going to be worth a buck.
01:14:03.320 And six weeks after that, it'll be worth 75 cents.
01:14:07.360 Eventually, it will be worth nothing.
01:14:10.280 And it will force everybody into a digital currency, which will ultimately control absolutely everything you do and a lower standard of life.
01:14:23.140 But a lot of people will be happy because there's some normalcy.
01:14:27.420 It also would mean, most likely, a war.
01:14:33.760 All of these things are beyond possible right now.
01:14:42.320 The financial and the reset to a digital currency is not just possible.
01:14:48.560 It is probable.
01:14:50.900 The war, I don't know.
01:14:52.980 What would you say, Stu?
01:14:54.280 Probable or just still possible?
01:14:59.120 Probable?
01:14:59.820 Yeah, I think so, too.
01:15:01.440 Probable.
01:15:02.400 So you have to get yourself in a different mindset.
01:15:07.740 Please.
01:15:08.720 I told my wife, and I'll tell you, I want to tell you what I would tell my own family.
01:15:15.180 We got to go shopping tonight.
01:15:16.660 You know, we have our emergency food, but if this happens, you'll have a breakdown worse than COVID.
01:15:25.660 You won't be getting the money.
01:15:27.760 The money will start to inflate quickly.
01:15:30.040 Prices will spiral out of control.
01:15:32.500 And when you have, especially in some areas, when you have a breakdown of trucking or supply chains, you're going to have a hard time getting things.
01:15:41.000 So I would just recommend, do not hoard, but grab some extra things and have them ready.
01:15:51.680 This may not be the time, but I like to sleep at night.
01:15:55.860 Take care of your family.
01:15:57.460 Do the right things.
01:15:58.700 Do not panic.
01:16:01.040 Panic makes this whole thing happen.
01:16:04.220 So do not panic.
01:16:06.140 Back in just a second, how do people continue to have faith in socialism after it has failed over and over and over again and caused so much pain and suffering?
01:16:15.900 I mean, we can chart all of this stuff to the violation of the free market principles.
01:16:21.440 Everything that's happening.
01:16:22.920 As it turns out, if you create a coordinated propaganda machine that infiltrates the mainstream media, entertainment, and your educational system,
01:16:31.040 kids grow up thinking socialism and Marxism is neat and compassionate.
01:16:37.000 Many families have turned to the Tuttle Twins to help fight back and teach their kids about personal responsibility, about free markets, entrepreneurship, limited government.
01:16:46.780 The left hates these books.
01:16:49.900 You might even see them bashing them.
01:16:52.500 They're gaining momentum right now.
01:16:54.420 They've sold over 4 million books so far because people like you who are awake to the truth and you want to pass that truth on to your children.
01:17:02.200 They will not get it through osmosis.
01:17:05.780 Right now, the Tuttle Twins has a new cartoon.
01:17:08.960 And to celebrate the success, they would like to send you a free DVD with some of the episodes of that cartoon.
01:17:15.800 You can order a set of their kids' books at tuttletwinsbeck.com.
01:17:20.200 This week only, that's tuttletwinsbeck.com.
01:17:23.300 You get the set and you'll get a free DVD with episodes of their cartoon when you order the books.
01:17:28.900 It's this week only, tuttletwinsbeck.com.
01:17:33.240 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:17:53.300 There's a story in the Daily Mail today, and I just want you to track back where all these problems are stemming from.
01:18:04.740 We say that, you know, oh, we want to fix this problem.
01:18:08.760 The government comes in and fixes something, and it becomes worse.
01:18:13.080 Then they fix it again, and it becomes worse because the government shouldn't be fixing these things.
01:18:19.060 It's not their place.
01:18:20.720 They should be worried about the things that are in the Constitution.
01:18:24.700 Listen to this story.
01:18:26.540 A woman who asked not to be named at the Daily Mail says she rushed her mother to Mount Sinai Hospital on Madison Avenue, which is a really nice place in New York, on March 8th, because she suspected the 67-year-old was having a stroke.
01:18:41.320 This was ruled out by a CAT scan carried out within 10 minutes.
01:18:44.760 But then a nightmarish day for the cancer sufferer and her daughter began as they were left waiting in the ER in limbo, desperate to find out what was going on.
01:18:56.080 Every corner was filled with people, she said, describing trash littering the floor, urine pots used by male patients kicked over, and homeless people seeking treatment but totally ignored by staff.
01:19:07.340 It comes amid patient backlogs and staffing shortages after the pandemic that stretched New York hospitals to the breaking point and sparked strikes by nurses.
01:19:17.320 Now, what's causing this?
01:19:20.480 First of all, the homeless problem is through the roof.
01:19:26.120 Why?
01:19:26.840 Well, the mayor will say it's because we have an open border.
01:19:30.180 The mayor of New York will say they're overwhelmed because of the border.
01:19:35.260 Yeah, imagine that, Mr. Mayor.
01:19:38.560 Imagine what it's like here in Texas, on the border.
01:19:43.120 What else caused this?
01:19:45.500 Thousands of nurses quit the profession when COVID-19 forced them into working grueling hours while being exposed to the deadly disease.
01:19:56.420 Also, people were fired because they wouldn't take the COVID vaccine.
01:20:03.640 In addition to the lack of staff, many elderly and vulnerable people avoided doctors and surgeries during the pandemic created a patient backlog.
01:20:13.240 Many of them are deadly, and they have gone undiagnosed and untreated.
01:20:17.360 More than 7,000 nurses went on strike in January over work and pay conditions.
01:20:22.960 They reached a settlement.
01:20:25.880 However, the system remains under massive strain.
01:20:28.880 A video taken by the woman on March 8 from Mount Sinai's chaotic ER ward showed an elderly woman complaining after being wheeled out of the room she was being treated in and into a hallway.
01:20:39.420 I want to be in a room, not a hallway.
01:20:41.980 I was in a room just now, she yells at the hospital staff.
01:20:44.940 You want me to get critical?
01:20:46.300 Because I'll get critical real quick.
01:20:48.100 How about that?
01:20:49.240 Off camera, the woman then started hurling bottles of water in anger.
01:20:54.640 Photos from the ward show the nurses chatting and using their iPhones despite the unfolding chaos around them.
01:21:00.900 One orderly was even seen watching a soccer match on a computer, apparently oblivious to the patient's suffering in the ward.
01:21:12.040 Pans of urine and vomit were left lying for anyone in the overcrowded ward to knock over at any moment.
01:21:18.540 A woman said nobody ever offered her mother any help.
01:21:23.620 If she needed help using the bathroom, no one was to be found.
01:21:28.480 Later that night, when she got to go up on her own, she stepped in a puddle of urine.
01:21:33.240 When she asked a staff member if it was always like this, she was told that it had been this way for the last two years.
01:21:41.620 This is Mount Sinai on Madison Avenue in New York.
01:21:47.080 If you don't know New York, Madison Avenue is where a lot of very, very, very wealthy people live.
01:21:55.960 This is Mount Sinai.
01:21:57.060 This is the condition of the hospital in New York.
01:22:04.600 Imagine what the bad hospitals are like.
01:22:08.780 What is this all caused by?
01:22:12.120 This is all caused by all of the things the government has done.
01:22:18.020 Almost all of these.
01:22:21.480 It was, let's shut down the whole system.
01:22:24.460 Let's make sure that everybody is vaccinated and fire those nurses and doctors that aren't.
01:22:30.000 Let's keep the borders open.
01:22:33.260 Look at what they're doing.
01:22:35.720 This is not a country I recognize as the United States of America.
01:22:41.840 America, that's Cuba, that's Venezuela, and that's where we're headed unless America wakes up.
01:22:49.080 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:22:50.320 The Glenn Beck Program.
01:22:50.480 We got no room to compromise.
01:23:07.980 We got to stand together.
01:23:09.820 It's the course of life.
01:23:11.540 Stand up, stand, and hold the line.
01:23:18.880 It's a new day I'm trying to raise.
01:23:22.340 What you're about to hear is the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
01:23:32.740 This is the Glenn Beck Program.
01:23:35.200 Hello, you sick, twisted freak.
01:23:40.440 Welcome to the program.
01:23:41.860 Well, there's, I don't know, nothing really big going on.
01:23:46.520 I mean, other than maybe for the first time in American history, a president might be taken away in handcuffs.
01:23:54.100 You know, that and the banking thing.
01:23:56.820 Oh, and China's meeting with Russia.
01:23:58.560 Oh, yeah, and Saudi Arabia and Iran are suddenly friends with each other and not friends with us or Israel.
01:24:08.640 So, but on that, you know, what else is going on?
01:24:15.800 Practically nothing.
01:24:19.240 All right.
01:24:20.320 Let me tell you about our sponsor, This Half Hour.
01:24:23.400 It's American Financing.
01:24:24.400 Right now, mortgage rates might not be as high as you think.
01:24:29.160 They've been coming down and God help us if they raise these interest rates again.
01:24:35.700 Jeez.
01:24:37.060 It's much lower than the average credit card rate, which is going to continue to go up.
01:24:43.720 The average is 20-21% for a credit card.
01:24:46.980 For your mortgage, it's around 6%.
01:24:49.640 May I suggest that you get rid of those credit card debt as fast as you can because they are going to go up.
01:24:58.560 In interest rates.
01:24:59.500 And you'll never be able to get out of them.
01:25:01.680 And it's better to pay 6% interest as opposed to 21% interest.
01:25:06.580 Roll them into your mortgage.
01:25:08.820 You could end up being able to delay up to two mortgage payments and close in as little as 10 days.
01:25:14.780 That will take a lot of pressure off you.
01:25:16.520 Please call American Financing now if you're interested at 800-906-2440.
01:25:22.860 800-906-2440.
01:25:25.800 No obligation.
01:25:26.980 Call them now.
01:25:27.860 Americanfinancing.net.
01:25:30.040 American Financing.
01:25:30.740 NMLS 1-82334.
01:25:32.860 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org.
01:25:36.040 All right, so I've been very interested to hear what Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, other members of the GOP, people in Congress, any leader, what are you saying about Donald Trump?
01:25:53.500 What are you saying about this district attorney coming after Donald Trump for a misdemeanor and trying to make it into a felony and possibly arresting a former president?
01:26:09.820 Now, personally, I have always been for arresting of Nixon, arresting of Hillary Clinton, not the arresting of Bill Clinton because his was a lie.
01:26:26.240 He perjured himself.
01:26:27.660 He should have paid the price for perjury.
01:26:30.040 If Donald Trump would have been working with the Russians, I would have said, impeach him and possibly put him in jail for treason.
01:26:44.860 But that didn't happen.
01:26:47.200 They have a man and they're trying to find the crime.
01:26:51.880 That is un-American.
01:26:53.600 Hillary Clinton violated similar things by having the hurricane, what was it called?
01:27:04.760 GPS, hurricane GPS.
01:27:07.460 Her campaign funded that.
01:27:09.380 Didn't tell the FBI, nothing.
01:27:11.420 They were funding that.
01:27:13.340 She got nailed for it.
01:27:14.540 They had to pay, her campaign had to pay a fine for it.
01:27:18.280 You think of fusion GPS?
01:27:19.380 Yeah, fusion GPS.
01:27:20.260 Thank you.
01:27:21.280 Fusion GPS.
01:27:22.000 Too many scandals to keep them all straight.
01:27:24.480 I know, I know.
01:27:25.280 So she paid a fine for it.
01:27:28.040 She didn't go to jail.
01:27:30.500 I think Hillary Clinton should have been prosecuted for the taking of sensitive documents, top secret.
01:27:41.080 In her case, she had her people cut top secret off the top in a skiff.
01:27:47.660 Cut it off, scan them, then send them to her.
01:27:53.140 Well, that's clear that you knew these weren't supposed to come out of the skiff.
01:27:58.340 You instructed people to do it, but they didn't prosecute.
01:28:02.200 But now because it's Donald Trump, he pays off Stormy Daniels and he doesn't pay.
01:28:08.260 It's not a bribe.
01:28:09.880 It was a settlement.
01:28:11.060 He settled a case that happens all the time.
01:28:17.740 But he did it so it wouldn't hurt his chance to be elected instead of the embarrassment with his family, et cetera, et cetera.
01:28:26.540 How are you going to prove that?
01:28:29.020 How are you going to prove that?
01:28:32.180 So I suggest today that you get on the phone with your member of the GOP, whichever and as many as you possibly can dial.
01:28:44.100 And I mean the local all the way to the top.
01:28:48.720 Governments are instituted among men to protect rights.
01:28:54.640 They haven't protected our First Amendment right.
01:28:58.400 The GOP hasn't.
01:28:59.520 No matter what they say, they'll they'll do lip service to this.
01:29:03.580 They'll appoint a judge.
01:29:05.880 But then they won't.
01:29:07.180 Has the GOP made anybody pay pay the price for what they did to parents in Virginia?
01:29:14.100 Calling them terrorists?
01:29:15.400 Has anybody paid the price for that?
01:29:17.260 Has the GOP been on a march to make sure that was stopped?
01:29:24.260 No, I'd say there's a few members of Congress that are doing a good job.
01:29:28.140 They've got a hearing going on right now.
01:29:30.620 But do you see anyone with the zeal that those parents deserve?
01:29:35.740 Do you see anyone going up against Adam Schiff for the role he played in all of the lies about Donald Trump?
01:29:47.020 See anybody going to jail for anything that anyone has done wrong?
01:29:51.680 And more importantly, do you feel there's a warrior in the GOP for you?
01:29:57.600 Hey, here's an idea for the press.
01:30:01.600 You want to know why Donald Trump is so popular?
01:30:04.740 Because they feel he understands them and is fighting for them as well as himself.
01:30:13.440 That's why people like Donald Trump.
01:30:18.400 Because they feel like everybody that they don't like is against him.
01:30:24.340 And they're against him because he's standing in the way to get to us.
01:30:30.540 Because that's the way most Trump supporters feel.
01:30:34.420 It's the way I feel.
01:30:40.660 Where is the, where are the party leaders?
01:30:44.880 Where are the leaders in the Senate and the House that will stand up today passionately,
01:30:50.600 like Chip Roy did on this program an hour and a half ago,
01:30:53.660 and say, enough, enough, this has to stop.
01:30:58.640 So you call every member and you say, not a dime is coming your way.
01:31:04.320 I want you to stand up against the violation of our rights and the violation of Donald Trump's right.
01:31:13.540 We have a banana republic.
01:31:16.180 We sent you there to protect and defend the Constitution.
01:31:20.800 I don't think you're doing enough.
01:31:22.960 Somebody's got to stand up.
01:31:29.640 This is a way for you to protest and not be set up or not be, find yourself in a situation where somebody does something stupid or intentional or planned,
01:31:43.640 and you get blamed for it.
01:31:46.700 You call them.
01:31:47.920 Burn up those phone lines.
01:31:49.500 You call them.
01:31:50.100 Also, you know, I've been talking to you today about bracing yourself for some economic turmoil because that is coming.
01:32:02.800 So is the, so is digital currency.
01:32:06.080 So let me tie these two things together, Donald Trump and digital currency.
01:32:11.800 Ron DeSantis just came out and said he's fighting a central bank digital currency.
01:32:20.320 This is probably the most important fight you could fight right now is against digital currency,
01:32:27.380 and your state is about to pass something with the UCC.
01:32:31.700 It's in every state, and it's going to make it.
01:32:35.100 And so digital currency is there.
01:32:38.780 Here, let me give you one example of why central bank digital currency is so bad.
01:32:44.000 Stu, do you have Bitcoin?
01:32:46.400 Yes, I do.
01:32:47.280 Okay.
01:32:48.560 Although I lost it in a boating accident.
01:32:50.240 Right.
01:32:50.560 Okay.
01:32:50.840 So you have Bitcoin.
01:32:52.180 Do you have a place?
01:32:53.980 What's your off-ramp for that?
01:32:55.700 How can you get your money?
01:32:57.020 I mean, currently, you could sell it and spend it in fiat currency.
01:33:04.020 Right.
01:33:04.360 And is there like a bank or an exchange or something?
01:33:07.720 Is there more than one?
01:33:09.100 Yeah.
01:33:09.540 And can you take that Bitcoin out and put it on a hard drive and it's yours?
01:33:13.580 Sure.
01:33:14.120 Okay.
01:33:14.600 Good.
01:33:16.280 A federal coin.
01:33:18.240 You get fed up with your exchange, the Federal Reserve.
01:33:22.440 Can you take your money out and put it someplace else?
01:33:27.020 Can you take a Fed coin out and put it someplace else?
01:33:32.620 Nope.
01:33:33.120 It's a totally opposite concept.
01:33:35.240 Exactly right.
01:33:36.460 It doesn't.
01:33:37.220 It's not yours.
01:33:39.480 It's theirs.
01:33:41.720 You can't pull your money out because it's not yours.
01:33:46.600 It's their digital currency.
01:33:50.500 There's no competition.
01:33:53.400 You're not taking it out.
01:33:54.660 You're using it the way they want you to use it.
01:33:57.540 Anyway, Ron DeSantis came out and he was talking about this and then he was asked a question
01:34:02.060 about Donald Trump.
01:34:03.720 Listen.
01:34:04.540 I wanted to know what your thoughts are on the rumored Trump indictment.
01:34:09.400 And if you have any role in it, if charges are brought on him, will you have any role
01:34:14.260 in extradition to New York?
01:34:15.560 So I've seen rumors swirl.
01:34:18.280 I have not seen any facts yet.
01:34:20.540 And so I don't know what's going to happen.
01:34:22.220 But I do know this.
01:34:23.240 The Manhattan district attorney is a Soros-funded prosecutor.
01:34:28.240 And so he, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponize their office to impose a political
01:34:35.840 agenda on society at the expense of the rule of law and public safety.
01:34:41.340 He has downgraded over 50% of the felonies to misdemeanors.
01:34:46.340 He says he doesn't want to even have jail time for the vast, vast majority of crimes.
01:34:51.860 And what we've seen in Manhattan is we've seen the crime rate go up and we've seen citizens
01:34:56.920 become less safe.
01:34:58.180 And so you're talking about this situation with, and look, I don't know what goes into
01:35:03.040 paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair.
01:35:08.960 I just, I can't speak to that.
01:35:11.360 But what I can speak to is that if you have a prosecutor who is ignoring crimes happening
01:35:20.100 every single day in his jurisdiction, and he chooses to go back many, many years ago to
01:35:26.760 try to use something about porn star hush money payments, you know, that's an example of pursuing
01:35:34.240 a political agenda and weaponizing the office.
01:35:37.740 And I think that that's fundamentally wrong.
01:35:40.420 I also think it's important to point out when you're talking about these Soros-funded prosecutors,
01:35:44.740 yes, they may do a high-profile politicized prosecution, and that's bad.
01:35:50.120 But the real victims are ordinary New Yorkers, ordinary Americans in all these different jurisdictions
01:35:58.120 that they get victimized every day because of the reckless political agenda that these
01:36:04.200 Soros DAs bring to their job.
01:36:06.980 They ignore crime and they empower criminals, and that hurts people, hurts a lot of people
01:36:12.920 every single day.
01:36:14.400 These Soros district attorneys are a menace to society.
01:36:17.640 And I'm just glad that I'm the only governor in the country that's actually removed one
01:36:22.080 from office during my tenure.
01:36:24.380 And in terms of, we are not involved in this, won't be involved in this, I have no interest
01:36:31.400 in getting involved in some type of manufactured circus by some Soros DA, okay?
01:36:38.160 He's trying to do a political spectacle.
01:36:40.940 He's trying to virtue signal for his base.
01:36:43.600 I've got real issues I've got to deal with here in the state of Florida.
01:36:46.720 We're obviously shutting down CBDC, which is important.
01:36:50.700 We've got so many things pending in front of the legislature.
01:36:53.400 I've got to spend my time on issues that actually matter to people.
01:36:57.380 I can't spend my time worrying about things of that nature.
01:37:02.400 So we're not going to be involved in it in any way.
01:37:05.460 I'm fighting for Floridians, and I'm fighting back against Biden.
01:37:08.840 That's what I do every single day.
01:37:11.420 Interesting.
01:37:13.060 It's a skillful response, I think, to that.
01:37:15.220 Yeah, however, it is a Floridian that is being extradited.
01:37:22.060 Yeah, but he's saying he won't participate in it.
01:37:23.920 I know, I know.
01:37:25.080 That's a big, that's certainly news.
01:37:26.980 The governor is not going to participate in this.
01:37:29.040 Yes, it is.
01:37:30.060 Does it hurt him?
01:37:31.580 Help him?
01:37:32.440 Is it the right thing to do?
01:37:33.760 Wrong thing to do.
01:37:34.720 I think it helps him, certainly in the primary, because it shows that he's not going to target
01:37:43.960 his opponents because he has an opportunity to, unlike what the Soros DAs are doing, right?
01:37:50.880 The Soros DAs have an opportunity to target people they don't like in politics and are
01:37:55.560 choosing to do so.
01:37:57.240 DeSantis is saying, I'm not.
01:37:58.260 I mean, he could obviously try to make this into a more serious thing to hurt Trump in
01:38:03.100 this primary, and he's not.
01:38:04.320 But he also could be.
01:38:06.340 I don't know if there's anything a governor could do, but I think it will be perceived
01:38:10.220 by many people who are for Trump or people who just think this is an injustice that he's
01:38:18.700 not doing anything.
01:38:20.380 And there's sometimes you can't.
01:38:22.280 Well, he and I think what he can do is remove Soros DAs in his own state.
01:38:26.820 And he's done that already, which is important.
01:38:30.180 I think, you know, I think what's skillful about that response, I think, is, look, obviously
01:38:36.260 Donald Trump is correctly making this into an issue of him being victimized by this system,
01:38:43.080 right?
01:38:43.420 He is right on this.
01:38:44.940 Now, Trump likes to say he's a victim all the time, and he's not.
01:38:47.380 Sometimes he exaggerates that a tad.
01:38:49.340 This is a real case where this is blatantly just political prosecution.
01:38:53.500 The statute of limitations on this, first of all, it's a misdemeanor.
01:38:57.500 It should be a misdemeanor.
01:38:58.420 They're trying to escalate it to a felony so they can make the statute of limitations
01:39:01.660 go away, which is just, you know, ridiculous.
01:39:05.100 But like what he's saying there is saying, hey, this is a bigger issue than one guy.
01:39:09.720 And the real victims here are people who all over the country, by the way, not just in
01:39:14.820 Florida, but all over the country, voters who might maybe even lean to the left at times
01:39:21.000 are being victimized by this approach where they are taking high profile cases and going
01:39:28.060 after political enemies and then letting every other murderer out of prison to go murder and
01:39:33.380 rape some more.
01:39:34.880 And so I think it was a smart idea to broaden it.
01:39:36.960 Look, you know, he's not in this race yet, and he's in a weird spot here because everyone acts
01:39:41.460 and treats him as if he's in the race.
01:39:43.440 He's certainly acting often as if he's in this race, but he's not actually in the race.
01:39:48.720 So he's not in that position yet where he is yet where he is going to attack Donald Trump.
01:39:55.600 But I think it's smart to pick and choose where you go after a guy going.
01:40:01.620 If he just tried to escalate this, well, the porn star thing is the biggest issue and he
01:40:06.300 should be prosecuted.
01:40:07.500 You could see that being an approach from a political opponent.
01:40:10.240 That would be suicide.
01:40:11.400 Be dumb.
01:40:11.780 That'd be dumb.
01:40:12.500 You know, I think he, I think it's not, it's not, it's not principles.
01:40:16.140 I mean, right.
01:40:16.800 He got his line in about the porn star because that is a principle, you know, like the porn star
01:40:22.140 thing, you know, and the, and you, but you didn't pay hush money.
01:40:25.380 You settled a case that happens all the time, but it's still, you know, yeah, I still,
01:40:31.640 it's a porn star.
01:40:32.720 Okay.
01:40:33.120 So, you know, look, hush money is not a terrible description of what went on there.
01:40:37.340 Right.
01:40:37.500 Like as, as Alan Dershowitz pointed out earlier, we would call that settling a case.
01:40:41.040 If it was Bill Clinton and Paula Jones, I wouldn't call it that.
01:40:45.300 I would call it hush money.
01:40:46.880 Okay.
01:40:47.620 Because look, the reason Donald Trump, I'm sure he's very concerned about what Melania
01:40:52.600 thinks about that particular relationship.
01:40:54.240 But in reality, 10 days before an election, the reason that payment is being made is because
01:40:58.020 of the election is not, it is not, that is why he did it.
01:41:03.940 And that's, you know, look, we've already, we had a chance to, to go over this in 2020.
01:41:08.820 You got a chance to decide if that was, if you wanted to vote for him or not based on
01:41:12.600 that.
01:41:12.800 Not a lot of people did.
01:41:14.080 Back in just a second.
01:41:14.840 You have a lot of work to do in the country.
01:41:16.820 We all do.
01:41:17.520 It seems like the battle is always uphill.
01:41:19.200 Unfortunately, it feels that way with the constant efforts to destroy America from within.
01:41:25.820 But hope persists.
01:41:27.640 And one of the things you can do is do business with businesses who stand for the same principles

01:42:29.720 Because this press conference happened just a few minutes ago, I haven't had a chance
01:42:42.300 to really see what he said about digital currency.
01:42:45.420 Yeah, it's funny because the Trump thing is going to get all the press.
01:42:47.860 The digital currency thing is much more important as it comes to DeSantis' role in this.
01:42:54.160 DeSantis said the state of Florida would be calling on the legislature to expressly forbid
01:42:57.840 centralized bank digital currencies for use in the state's commercial code as a method
01:43:03.100 of protected Floridians from economic or financial surveillance.
01:43:06.600 He said, quote, as we've come to learn any way that they can get into society to exercise
01:43:11.620 their agenda, they will do it.
01:43:13.380 So what the central bank digital currency is about is surveilling Americans and controlling
01:43:17.420 behavior of Americans.
01:43:18.720 He goes on to talk about ESG.
01:43:22.900 He says, DeSantis said centralized digital currency was a way to implement more control over the
01:43:28.740 populace, referencing the way such systems, according to the governor, operates in China,
01:43:32.660 Nigeria, and the Bahamas as examples.
01:43:35.460 I don't even need to think here.
01:43:36.980 What are they going to do?
01:43:37.700 These ESG factors, you go and buy gasoline.
01:43:39.900 If you bought too much gasoline, they won't allow you to use this to make a transaction.
01:43:44.260 Who knows whether they would let you buy a firearm or things they disapprove of.
01:43:47.460 So you're opening up a can of worms and handing a central bank huge amounts of power.
01:43:52.500 So really on the same line you've been talking about.
01:43:54.740 And this is going to become an issue faster than you think.
01:43:58.440 If you think that the dollar is stable, you are very wrong.
01:44:03.560 This banking collapse is in its beginning stages.
01:44:09.400 It may not happen right away, but it is coming.
01:44:13.400 And war is also on the horizon.
01:44:17.460 We've got a few issues to deal with as a, quote, superpower.

01:45:58.160 Dave McCormick would have been our U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania if Pennsylvania hadn't gone insane.
01:46:07.940 But, I digress.
01:46:10.700 He's with us now.
01:46:12.280 He's got a new book out called Superpower in Peril.
01:46:16.880 Are we still a superpower?
01:46:18.820 We are, but we're going to lose it.
01:46:20.520 We're on the wrong way, Glenn.
01:46:21.840 We're headed the wrong direction.
01:46:22.940 Big time.
01:46:23.240 I mean, when Saudi Arabia and Iran start an alliance together, I mean, where it is our power.
01:46:29.860 Brokered by China.
01:46:30.680 Right.
01:46:31.480 Is that crazy?
01:46:32.740 Crazy.
01:46:33.060 Yeah.
01:46:33.800 So, you know, you were CEO of Bridgewater Associates, which is a huge investment management firm.
01:46:42.380 You also were Department of Commerce, National Security Council, U.S. Treasury.
01:46:51.480 So, you can talk about a lot of things.
01:46:53.740 So, in the time that we have, let's first talk about how much trouble are we in with the financial sector right now?
01:47:01.600 Yeah, we're in trouble.
01:47:02.440 I mean, the whole premise of Superpower in Peril is we're in decline.
01:47:06.220 And what's happening now economically is a good example of that.
01:47:09.500 And it's easy to get focused on the bank.
01:47:11.060 And I'll talk about the bank in a minute, Silicon Valley Bank.
01:47:13.300 But what's happened is a direct consequence of terrible policies under Joe Biden.
01:47:17.980 Yes.
01:47:18.220 Excessive spending, 40% increase in discretionary spending.
01:47:21.500 It's $31 trillion of debt.
01:47:23.560 These three hugest pieces of legislation.
01:47:25.620 That's driven up inflation.
01:47:27.680 Fed had to raise rates.
01:47:29.100 And that's created a big mismatch in our economy between liabilities and assets.
01:47:33.780 And that mismatch is putting pressure on banks.
01:47:36.320 Unfortunately, the Silicon Valley Bank, terribly managed, terribly managed, terrible oversight by our regulators.
01:47:41.900 We don't need more regulation.
01:47:43.040 We need our regulators to do their job.
01:47:45.240 But unfortunately, it's the canary in the coal mine.
01:47:47.360 And I think there's more bad things to come.
01:47:49.140 I think the canaries are all dead.
01:47:52.620 Somebody just nobody has noticed yet.
01:47:54.520 Hey, guys, the birds aren't moving anymore.
01:47:56.920 Could be.
01:47:57.260 And what's happened, this is a response to protect the uninsured depositors in Silicon Valley Bank.
01:48:04.280 And what's happened there, just to make it clear, is that the rich venture capital guy down the street had his deposits protected.
01:48:11.140 Right.
01:48:11.260 The guy who had the lawn mowing service that mowed the lawn around Silicon Valley Bank, it was a creditor.
01:48:17.420 He got wiped out.
01:48:18.380 So that's the consequence of this policy.
01:48:21.180 So it's a little bit of what the Joe Biden administration keeps doing, which is taking care of the elites at the expense of folks in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, where I grew up.
01:48:28.940 I was talking to Alan Dershowitz about an hour ago, and I said, I mean, you have to have something written down.
01:48:35.460 It can't be like, yeah, you know what, Bank of Omaha, we're not going to bail you out.
01:48:40.520 It can't be that way.
01:48:41.780 Right.
01:48:42.020 60% of all of our all of our loans for commercial purposes go through local banks.
01:48:48.860 Right.
01:48:49.600 That is devastating.
01:48:51.880 Devastating.
01:48:52.400 No doubt.
01:48:52.820 And what's happened, there's eight trillion dollars of uninsured deposits.
01:48:56.380 And we've certainly the policymakers have certainly set an expectation that those guys are going to be protected on uninsured deposits, too.
01:49:03.180 And that has lots of consequences.
01:49:04.540 So let me switch quickly.
01:49:06.560 I think we are on the road to war.
01:49:10.000 And I mean, World War Three, destructive, all encompassing war that we haven't seen in 90 years.
01:49:18.120 Do you agree with that or not?
01:49:19.820 Do you mean with China?
01:49:21.020 With China, Russia.
01:49:22.460 It's I mean, we're on a path.
01:49:24.120 We're on a path where this thing is.
01:49:25.920 Absolutely.
01:49:26.380 We're at huge risk and weakness in our leadership is at the core of that risk.
01:49:31.840 And, you know, the the mishandling of Afghanistan, I think, sent a shockwave across the world.
01:49:37.840 That's one of the reasons I jumped into the Senate race.
01:49:39.700 It was such a disgusting thing to see America so humiliated on the global stage.
01:49:43.820 The signals given to Putin with Nord Stream 2 invited Putin's aggression in.
01:49:49.320 And and so we need to do two things at the same time.
01:49:51.740 We need to build our muscle at home.
01:49:53.140 We need to go to the gym.
01:49:54.260 That's what the book Superpower and Parallel is about.
01:49:56.320 We need to educate our people.
01:49:57.700 We need to confront China.
01:49:59.580 We need to secure the country, but we also need to project that strength abroad in a way that makes complete sense and is in America's interest.
01:50:08.420 And that's why we need to take on China in a very smart and thoughtful way to stop any aggressive behavior.
01:50:14.960 So we are becoming, however, so weak and they know it.
01:50:19.000 I mean, 2008, everybody said I was crazy.
01:50:21.460 I said, there's going to come a time where you'll have communists, you'll have revolutionaries that are anarchists, you'll have Islamists, you'll have all these people who are against us all work together to drop us to the bat.
01:50:36.520 And not that they're coordinating.
01:50:38.780 They just see now they are weak.
01:50:41.840 We can help push them over.
01:50:44.100 Well, absolutely.
01:50:44.780 And that's what I mean, two meetings in the last two weeks.
01:50:47.600 So the orchestration of Iran, Saudi Arabia with China in the middle, but that's a vacuum.
01:50:53.700 Yes, that's a vacuum.
01:50:54.560 Yes.
01:50:54.900 There was a vacuum.
01:50:56.280 If you're Saudi Arabia and you've been a longstanding ally of the United States and you see what's happened over the last two years, you say, listen, I need to look elsewhere.
01:51:03.060 That's what happened.
01:51:04.120 And with Xi's engagement with Putin to try to, on the side of Putin, to try to negotiate peace in Ukraine.
01:51:11.500 That's another example of a belief that American leadership is weak.
01:51:16.340 And this is China.
01:51:17.240 China has a plan for global domination.
01:51:19.840 The question is, what's our plan?
01:51:22.880 And that's the book.
01:51:24.000 That's the book.
01:51:24.740 Because there doesn't seem to be a plan.
01:51:27.920 In your book, you talk about bringing credibility back to our institutions and cleaning them up.
01:51:34.680 How do you even do that?
01:51:36.360 It is so infested with corruption.
01:51:40.280 And I mean from all sides.
01:51:42.960 How are you going to clean this up?
01:51:44.420 How do you clean up the State Department, let alone the State and Department of Interior and EPA and Pentagon?
01:51:52.540 I don't want to minimize it.
01:51:55.220 I don't want to minimize it.
01:51:55.980 The first thing we got to do is we got to win elections.
01:52:00.140 We got to get our leaders in place.
01:52:03.060 Leaders at the top drive change, whether it's in corporate America or whether it's in the country.
01:52:07.280 Leaders at the top drive change.
01:52:08.600 And so if I was Secretary of Defense or Secretary of Commerce or Secretary of Treasury, it starts with the top of bringing clarity to mission and driving out a whole progressive ideology that's deeply embedded in our institutions.
01:52:21.820 We need to win elections and we need to have good ideas and we need to have great leaders who can win elections.
01:52:25.680 And that's the key.
01:52:26.720 And I don't want to be overly optimistic, but let me say the following.
01:52:30.220 I remember 1979, stagflation, America was weak on the world stage.
01:52:36.960 It felt over.
01:52:38.140 Humiliation.
01:52:38.760 80% of Americans, Glenn, thought the country was heading in the wrong direction.
01:52:41.580 It felt a lot like now.
01:52:42.640 Yeah.
01:52:42.940 I was 15 at the time, right?
01:52:44.340 About the same age.
01:52:45.080 Yes, you were the same age.
01:52:45.960 So now, four years later, I'm at West Point walking down those beautiful walkways, those beautiful mountains.
01:52:52.580 America was back.
01:52:53.940 Inflation was in check.
01:52:54.840 The economy was on fire.
01:52:55.980 We were building back our defense.
01:52:57.140 We won the Cold War six years later.
01:52:59.460 Now, Ronald Reagan's solutions from then aren't our solutions for now.
01:53:03.260 But leadership is the answer.
01:53:05.420 Leadership is the key.
01:53:06.520 We got to get the right people in the right spots and we can drive change.
01:53:10.020 Do you see, I mean, I'm not asking you to endorse anybody.
01:53:13.240 Do you see leadership either announced or unannounced yet?
01:53:17.060 It's too early to tell, but I'm hoping.
01:53:18.920 I'm hoping that the conversation that will take place in our primary will be mostly about the future.
01:53:24.380 And when I say that, that doesn't mean we don't need to call balls and strikes on the terrible things we're seeing.
01:53:29.860 But I'm convinced from my time on the campaign trail, we need to spend our time talking about how to bring back America and the people of Pennsylvania.
01:53:37.420 And I think the people of the country want to hear that.
01:53:39.060 I think that's what Ronald Reagan, why he was successful.
01:53:42.120 That's right.
01:53:42.520 He talked about, look, this isn't that hard.
01:53:45.400 Yeah.
01:53:45.640 It's not.
01:53:46.060 And it really isn't.
01:53:47.880 If you have leadership dedicated, I'm so pissed off at the Republicans.
01:53:53.500 I can barely see straight.
01:53:55.760 Yeah.
01:53:56.120 The their job is to protect and defend the Constitution.
01:54:00.220 And it is violated in 100 different ways every day, it seems.
01:54:05.580 And nobody seems in Washington, very few seem to have the fire within them to say enough is enough and call out their own party.
01:54:19.900 Right.
01:54:20.340 If need be, because you're playing the game.
01:54:23.180 Right.
01:54:23.900 Somebody's got to stand up.
01:54:26.020 I don't think we can win the game.
01:54:27.680 We don't want to win the game.
01:54:28.640 We want to save the country.
01:54:29.780 Yes.
01:54:30.040 And saving the country requires us to stand on principle.
01:54:33.640 I was just earlier this week.
01:54:35.120 I went to the Reagan library.
01:54:36.140 I did a thing there.
01:54:37.340 Andrew Jackson is on the wall in Reagan's office, just like it was in President Trump's office when he was president.
01:54:44.000 Why is that?
01:54:44.900 Because Reagan brought together the coalition of the working class Americans that are getting left behind.
01:54:50.600 And that was the big takeaway on the campaign.
01:54:52.600 People are so pissed off and they have every reason to be.
01:54:55.580 Because the last 20 years has been terrible for a huge chunk of America.
01:55:00.040 We need to bring those people into the fold.
01:55:01.940 The only way to do that is with solutions that fix what's wrong with the country.
01:55:06.340 And you have a very well laid out battle plan to renew America, superpower in peril.
01:55:12.000 These are the kind of books that you need to read now because we need to be pushing up to the GOP.
01:55:18.320 We want a straight, I tell you, the left by this time, they are absolutely strategizing on if they retain power, what they do next.
01:55:30.800 Yeah.
01:55:31.020 We're not doing that.
01:55:32.000 Right.
01:55:32.240 We're not doing that.
01:55:33.520 And we have to.
01:55:34.740 And what they're planning is going to destroy the country.
01:55:38.520 So the stakes could not be higher.
01:55:40.960 Right.
01:55:41.160 The name of the book is Superpower in Peril, Battle Plan to Renew in America.
01:55:46.860 One last thing.
01:55:47.840 What are your thoughts on what's happening with the New York District Attorney?
01:55:54.260 Yeah.
01:55:54.500 I mean, listen, I'm just hearing it as you are.
01:55:56.360 But I think any time our justice system seems like it's being highly politicized against anyone, including a former president, I think it further erodes our trust in institutions.
01:56:06.500 And that's what I'm worried about.
01:56:07.740 It's crazy.
01:56:08.500 Just crazy.
01:56:09.040 I wish we were more like hungry on one issue.
01:56:13.880 Ban George Soros' influence.
01:56:16.440 His influence has dark purposes behind it almost every time.
01:56:23.820 And at least I think there are three countries that they were like, hey, you know, he collapsed us.
01:56:29.020 Maybe we shouldn't allow him to have influence here anymore.
01:56:32.720 But that's just me.
01:56:33.940 Thank you so much for everything.
01:56:35.060 Thanks for having me.
01:56:35.520 It's a superpower in peril, a battle plan to renew America by David McCormick.
01:56:41.560 Back in a minute.
01:56:42.220 All right.
01:56:45.220 If you're not seriously considering land, food, gold, you're really not paying attention.
01:56:56.440 The central bank is looking to get rid of the U.S. dollar when it's time and bring us into a central bank digital currency.
01:57:08.040 It'll be the end of freedom.
01:57:10.240 I'm not overstating that.
01:57:12.400 It'll be the end of freedom.
01:57:13.980 They will control everything you have to be able to prepare yourself for any eventuality.
01:57:21.540 If you have retirement funds, would you just spread it out?
01:57:26.860 You know, you shouldn't have you shouldn't have your stocks should be so wide and so thin that no nothing can really take you out at once.
01:57:38.660 But you should also have some gold or silver.
01:57:41.080 This week, Goldline is offering a special on their five dollar gold Indian and five dollar gold Liberty coins.
01:57:47.120 Every roll or box of 20 of each item, the client's going to receive 100 of the one ounce copper Mayflower rounds at no charge.
01:57:57.180 Just call Goldline today.
01:57:58.800 Just I'm not telling you to do anything.
01:58:01.620 Don't take my financial advice.
01:58:03.640 I want you just to find out if it's right for you and your family.
01:58:07.540 Be informed.

01:58:37.800 Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program.
01:58:40.560 John McWhorter, who is like nobody on the left likes him.
01:58:46.480 But he's not he's he's not a conservative either.
01:58:50.700 I wouldn't say he's a conservative guy.
01:58:52.840 He's just you know, he's he says things that are sane.
01:58:55.400 So the left hates him.
01:58:57.600 Well, he was he was on Bill Maher and he explained the difference between equity and equality.
01:59:06.320 Listen to this.
01:59:07.480 What is the difference between equity and equality in your view?
01:59:10.900 Oh, the the difference is a truly sneaky, terrible thing.
01:59:15.960 Equity.
01:59:17.600 Equity is this this wormy word.
01:59:20.820 The idea is that you're going to have equality by forcing the issue, by bringing people into
01:59:28.460 positions that they're not qualified for yet so that everything looks, quote unquote, like
01:59:33.200 America.
01:59:33.680 So it sounds like equality and you say equity and you figure it's the same thing.
01:59:38.140 But it's a euphemism there.
01:59:40.100 They're trying to slip in without letting you know that it's going to be equality accomplished
01:59:45.420 in a way that you probably wouldn't like.
01:59:47.980 It's like if you say to somebody, well, before I let you go and you say that to them,
01:59:53.000 you just want to get or if you talk about diversity, well, imagine talking to Franklin D. Roosevelt
02:00:00.340 about diversity.
02:00:01.280 When we say diversity, what we mean is changing standards for various reasons for black and
02:00:06.860 Latino and sometimes Native American people.
02:00:09.160 That's what diversity means.
02:00:10.260 You just don't want to say it.
02:00:11.900 Equity means that you force equality and you kind of weasel your way through it.
02:00:18.140 And so it's like you take the word equality and you kind of knock the A.L. out of it.
02:00:22.620 It's like bam, bam.
02:00:23.840 It's like bam, bam.
02:00:24.820 And you knock it out and you've got equity.
02:00:27.500 And the people who do this think that that's the right thing because they are on the side
02:00:31.700 of the angels and they have to have this fake equality.
02:00:35.260 And what it means is this, this is D.E.I.
02:00:38.340 It's not an accident that D.E.I. is the first three letters of deity.
02:00:44.100 These people think of themselves as gods.
02:00:46.600 None of this is an accident.
02:00:47.600 So that's what equity means, whether Bernie Sanders knows it or not.
02:00:51.400 It's a weasel word.
02:00:53.680 Notice he wasn't laughing.
02:00:55.360 Bill Maher laughed.
02:00:56.420 Yeah.
02:00:56.660 The audience didn't laugh.
02:00:58.520 He wasn't laughing when he said deity.
02:01:01.120 I think he was serious.
02:01:02.800 Oh, yeah.
02:01:03.300 You know, and he is a he's a linguist like that.
02:01:06.020 This is his line of work where he he really focuses on what these words mean.
02:01:10.600 And the equality equity one is one that I think slips by a lot of people.
02:01:14.220 Unless you're sitting, you know, here and thinking about it all the time.
02:01:17.420 Equity sounds totally fine.
02:01:19.300 Right.
02:01:19.540 Like, what's wrong with equity?
02:01:21.820 But what was wrong with equality?
02:01:24.360 Right.
02:01:24.680 What was wrong with equality?
02:01:26.080 And again, it's that we we had this battle long ago where we've made people say that we
02:01:32.680 want a quality of opportunity, not a quality of outcome.
02:01:36.160 And when they lost that battle, because that's what people actually want.
02:01:42.060 They want a quality of opportunity.
02:01:43.440 They do not want a quality of outcome.
02:01:45.160 They don't want it.
02:01:46.640 They want a quality of opportunity.
02:01:48.700 And so this is a way of changing that debate and hiding it so that people say, oh, equity.
02:01:54.640 Well, equity, that's what it is.
02:01:56.020 It is equality of outcome.
02:01:59.140 And they lot when you say it out loud, they lose.
02:02:03.600 So they come up with words like this to to to hide it.
02:02:07.600 And, you know, I think it's successful with a lot of people.
02:02:10.340 It is.
02:02:10.660 And that's why they try also to destroy the word merit.
02:02:14.940 Yeah.
02:02:15.540 Merit is a code word.
02:02:17.420 Code word for what?
02:02:19.880 Merit is anyone who can stand up and, you know, do something better than somebody else.
02:02:28.280 And that doesn't mean that you push other people down.
02:02:32.100 Just means content of character, content of work, work ethic.
02:02:37.400 I'd rather hire somebody with a great work ethic than somebody necessarily with, you know,
02:02:43.780 a poor work ethic and greater skills.
02:02:46.700 I don't know.
02:02:47.560 I think the guy with a great work ethic might end up paying off because of merit.
02:02:53.880 Merit.
02:02:55.560 Anyway, we will see you tomorrow.
02:02:58.900 Have a safe and happy day.
02:03:04.140 Now, go take on the world.
