Trump Indicted for the Third Time! Glenn Beck breaks it all down and explains why this is a big deal. He also talks about the new rule that could change the way we all think about lying and why it's a crime.
00:02:05.160We have a full-fledged duct tape alert, and that means that the story I am going to give to you is, well, very likely to make your head explode.
00:02:16.440Uh, the hypocrisy, the stupidity, all of it could make your head explode.
00:02:22.700Now, there's nothing that duct tape can do to stop your head from exploding, but I warn you, wrap your head tightly in it.
00:02:31.660So that way, when it does explode, you can get, be rushed to the hospital and you'll have all of the pieces.
00:02:37.340They'll just have to glue it all back together.
00:03:18.880Today's program brought to you by Relief Factor Sleep.
00:03:24.860No matter what it is that gets you out of bed in the morning, it is going to have to have, you know, work a lot harder to make sure that you are sleeping well, that you are waking refreshed, especially after you hear the news.
00:03:40.120Getting adequate rest doesn't only make your day better, it also contributes to your continuing good health.
00:03:47.880So, if you're like me, you sleep poorly, sometimes you need some help.
00:03:54.640Just like the regular Relief Factor that, you know, you take to help with your pain, Relief Factor Sleep is 100% drug-free.
00:04:02.340It's a blend of natural ingredients designed to promote healthy sleep by reducing anxiety and distress and improving your mood and promoting relaxation.
00:04:32.920Biden's Department of Justice basically just handed down a charge of criminal misinformation.
00:04:41.200And that seemingly made-up crime somehow led to a coordinated assault on the Capitol on January 6th.
00:04:49.840Now, this is a game-changing precedent.
00:04:52.880If Trump is convicted on this, is misinformation now a crime under case law?
00:05:01.560Are untrue political statements made by politicians or others, in other words, 99% of every 99% of everything politicians ever say, is it now a potential crime?
00:05:16.840If misinformation is a crime, will they ever go after, let's say, the Washington Post for the crimes of misinformation that they have done on Hunter Biden?
00:05:26.600Under that precedent are the actions of others considered the fault of the person that committed the said crime.
00:06:51.900June 7th, the FBI releases documents to Congress alleging that the Bidens took $10 million bribe from Burisma.
00:06:59.380The very next day, June 8th, Jack Smith indicts Trump in Mar-a-Lago document case.
00:07:07.240July 26th, Hunter Biden goes to court and rejects the sweetheart plea deal after it was revealed the DOJ tried to give him blanket immunity from all future prosecutions.
00:07:19.320The very next day, July 27th, Jack Smith adds more charges for Trump in the Mar-a-Lago case.
00:07:26.820July 31st, Hunter Biden's former business partner testifies to Congress that Joe Biden was on over 20 calls with his son's business partners
00:07:37.560and that Burisma executives pressured them to fire the prosecutor.
00:07:42.920The very next day, Jack Smith indicts Trump again for January 6th.
00:07:48.820Wow, that is a series of really remarkable coincidence, isn't it?
00:07:56.900This government, being run by Joe Biden and his allies, are using every deep state trick they can.
00:08:09.700They seem to be working hand-in-hand with the left now for several years.
00:08:16.280Their next big target is 2024, and it is something Democrats have been getting ready for for years.
00:08:25.900They have been building systems, plans, and helping impose new election laws that will turn the 2020 debacle into the new normal.
00:08:34.400Tonight, I'm going to lay out all of this on my Wednesday night special.
00:08:39.180You don't want to miss it at 9 p.m. and 9.30 on my YouTube channel, youtube.com slash Glenn Beck.
00:08:45.780It's exposed the deep plans, the deep state plans for the 2024 election.
00:08:52.140Now, I have to tell you, there's a lot of stuff that we can't tell you about because we can't get information on it.
00:08:58.080The president had a government-wide operation.
00:09:02.820It was one of his first executive orders on how to register new voters.
00:09:09.280That every, the driver's license, the farm, you know, the FDA, the Agricultural Commission, the Department of the Interior,
00:09:24.400all of them told, government-wide, your priority is to register voters.
00:09:46.540Now, Jonathan Turley says this is the first criminal indictment of alleged disinformation.
00:09:53.980If you take a red pen to all of the material that is protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to haiku.
00:10:05.080He said, I felt the Mar-a-Lago indictment was strong, but this is the inverse.
00:10:10.900We also have Alan Dershowitz on in about an hour, and he's going to talk about it as well.
00:10:19.020He says, this is not going to survive, and it's very, very dangerous.
00:10:26.020The Trump campaign set out yesterday, and they said the lawlessness of these persecutions of President Trump and his supporters is reminiscent of Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
00:10:38.640Also, the former Soviet Union and all other authoritarian dictatorial regimes.
00:10:45.300President Trump has always followed the law and the Constitution with advice from many highly accomplished attorneys.
00:17:24.600When you go over to MyPillow.com, you'll see the offer right on the main page.
00:17:28.920And while you're there, don't forget to check out all of the deep, deep discounts that they're having on some of their most loved products.
00:25:27.220They just have a different agenda than you do.
00:25:31.060So, in 2011, we were downgraded, which means if somebody is going to invest in us, buy our bonds, our debt, they're looking for something that is a sure deal, especially now.
00:25:46.620So, in 2011, we were downgraded by Fitch.
00:26:14.800Well, yesterday, in, quote, a surprise move, the ratings agency, Fitch, downgraded us yet again from AA+, which is number two, to AA, which is now number three.
00:26:30.540Once you start getting into the B category, there's not a chance anyone's going to buy your bonds.
00:26:38.140Nobody is buying our bonds even before yesterday.
00:26:41.780When you talk about bonds, people don't, their eyes glaze over, they don't know what it means.
00:26:48.300What it means is every dollar that we are spending and printing, every bailout, every new project, every new green new deal, every dollar that we are borrowing, no one is giving us real money.
00:27:59.640Well, when those come up, who's going to buy them?
00:28:04.000Nobody's buying them, which means you have to raise the interest paid on the bonds, which you pay through taxes.
00:28:15.900When you have a bond that is paying 4% over the year, you, the taxpayer, have to come up with that 4%.
00:28:26.180We are going to soon, very soon, be paying half, half of all of the taxes paid will go to just the interest on, what is it, $33 trillion now.
00:28:46.320So the dollar went down again, which means you have less buying power.
00:28:55.040And that's something else people don't understand.
00:28:57.560The target now of the Fed, the target, their hope is that they can get us into a period, into a place to where our inflation is only 3% per year.
00:29:10.300And you'd say, well, inflation of 3%, that's not bad.
00:31:29.240Or, hey, you really can't spend it on gas because gas is getting too expensive.
00:31:35.740And you live close enough to walk to the grocery store and work or ride a bike.
00:31:42.460So, your money in your account, not everybody's, but your money, because you're not an essential worker or you live close enough in that 15-minute city that you will never be able to buy gas with your digital dollar from the U.S. Federal Reserve.
00:31:59.940Well, for full faith and credit, amen, this is what they're going to do.
00:32:09.860If you don't believe me, please, please do your own homework.
00:32:46.340Do you have a backyard you can turn into a garden?
00:32:48.420Because, by the way, food is also another controlling lever, and they are pulling that.
00:32:56.780They are making our farmers into the bad guy for the earth.
00:33:02.400And don't worry, Masanto is here, and Cargill is here, so they are going to be the great stewards of the earth.
00:33:11.380And they, along with Bill Gates, will control the farming, and they'll get you that food.
00:33:17.680Of course, we're not going to make a lot of food, you know, with the land.
00:33:20.660We're going to make it in a Petri dish, and we're going to grow your food through, you know, pharmaceuticals and better living through chemicals.
00:36:46.360Once they take the ability of the farmer away to independently grow vegetables, food, cows, whatever they want to do.
00:36:56.480Once that is taken away from them or made so onerous that no one except Cargill, you know, Monsanto or the World Economic Forum or the United States government or Bill Gates.
00:37:13.640When they take that ability away from you, the average person, you're no longer free.
00:37:20.060If you haven't set a red line yet, you might want to consider it.
00:37:28.420What is it going to take for you to stand up and say, wrong direction?
00:37:37.760And let me just say one more thing and then we have to break.
00:37:40.020Be very, very careful on who you align yourself with.
00:37:52.280Even your own faith can be hijacked and we can look for a new Christian defender who, you know, we all love the Constitution, but things, you know, sometimes we have to do things.
00:38:09.100And so we're going to give this person extra power and unleash him to do what must be done.
00:39:13.400This is a company that started in an apartment and then in a garage.
00:39:18.080Probably 2008 or 9, when they first started working with me, they were outsourcing all kinds of things and then labeling it and making sure it was the best out there.
00:43:13.420So there is an interesting timeline that is popping up.
00:43:22.720I don't know if you've noticed, but the last three indictments on Donald Trump have all been filed the day after a massive revelation on Hunter Biden.
00:43:36.040This latest indictment that came out yesterday of Donald Trump, I'm not sure exactly what it even is.
00:43:46.220Do you no longer have the right to your opinion?
00:43:51.700This seems to be a war on disinformation.
00:44:12.440We have a massive morale problem in America right now, and it is a generational problem.
00:44:17.920When you have a society that begins to reject notions like personal responsibility, which we've been doing for decades now, you eventually end up with a people who will routinely fall for anything because they don't stand for anything anymore.
00:44:35.880We have to change this in our own lives and for the next generation.
00:44:39.800I want you to pick up a free book, and it's free only this week.
00:44:44.480It is called The Tuttle Twins and the 12 Rules Boot Camp.
00:44:48.820You just pay for shipping and that's it.
00:44:50.660Your kids and grandkids can begin absorbing the same values, the values that we used to preach here in America, the values that have an emphasis on personal responsibility.
00:45:01.640This is all really coming from Jordan Peterson's work over the last few years.
00:45:09.800We've got to change our point of view and rediscover the founding principles of this country, and Tuttle Twins are determined to help your kids do it.
00:45:51.260You know, I'm looking at what the media is saying now, as opposed to what they were saying about Joe Biden, and it just keeps ever changing.
00:46:06.400We played it in the news report at the top of the first hour.
00:46:12.100I think it was from MSNBC, where they were, I mean, incredibly just dismissing everything that has been brought up about Joe Biden, and now saying it's because his son died, and he was very upset, and he wasn't paying attention.
00:46:55.500The witness testified that over his 10-year relationship with Hunter Biden, there may be approximately 20 times when in one of those conversations, Hunter Biden would put his father at a dinner, not at a business meeting, at a dinner that he was having if he happened to get a hold of his father, and would ask his father to say hello to whoever was at the table.
00:47:17.600And that was essentially the extent of it.
00:47:19.320It was unclear, and the witness testified, this is not me saying that, the witness testified that a lot of times, most of the time, Joe didn't even know who the people were at the dinner table.
00:47:54.620I'm very broken up about my brother, but I'm in an emergency meeting with Burisma, and they're telling me they need assurances that my dad will stop Victor Shokin from investigating Burisma, or we're done.
00:48:10.860Isn't this what we're paying for, this, quote, illusion of power from your father?
00:48:19.900And then he says, let me get him on the phone.
00:48:23.720He calls him, and then a week later, shockingly, for no apparent reason, he gets Shokin fired by withholding money in foreign aid from the United States government.
00:48:39.640But that was, he just left the room for just a second, just for a second, to grieve with his dad.
00:48:47.060This is unbelievable what they're expecting you to buy into.
00:50:07.680Many people are quoted in the indictment telling him he was wrong, but that doesn't make the crime.
00:50:13.100Crime requires, beyond a reasonable doubt, that he himself actually knew and believed it and acted with a corrupt motive.
00:50:20.720I don't think the government's going to be able to prove that.
00:50:23.800But to state a broader point, when the Attorney General of the United States authorizes an indictment, as was done here, against the man running against the incumbent president, who is now tied 44-44 in the New York Times poll,
00:50:37.620that indictment better be the strongest indictment in American history.
00:50:42.260There should be a smoking gun, fingerprints, a videotape, and a confession.
00:50:46.320This document is so flawed, is so filled with speculation.
00:50:51.760Jack Smith's famous for bringing speculative cases and then being smacked down by appellate courts.
00:50:57.820This just doesn't satisfy the Banana Republic test.
00:51:02.980In Banana Republics, presidents prosecute their political opponents.
00:51:07.880And the stronger their political opponents are in the polls, the more likely they are to be prosecuted.
00:51:13.360And we don't want that to happen in the United States.
00:51:17.080And I think this indictment doesn't meet what I call the Nixon standard.
00:51:22.460The Nixon standard is Nixon's crimes were so obvious that even his political supporters favored his being impeached or being prosecuted.
00:52:06.360This case should be tried in a purple state, not in a bright, bright, bright, bright, bright democratic state.
00:52:14.220And that's where it's being tried, in the most Democratic district in the United States of America, the most anti-Trump district in the entire United States.
00:52:24.140That's where the trial is scheduled to be held by a judge who has a very questionable background.
00:52:31.660She worked for years for a firm that's highly questionable, the David Boyce firm, very, very Democratic-oriented.
00:52:43.320She was working, right, and Burisma, and she was working there at the time of all of that stuff.
00:52:49.740Not saying that she was involved in it, but...
00:52:51.660Right. David Boyce and his firm have been charged with more cases of corruption and disbarbable conduct than any law firm in modern American history.
00:53:05.740And it's well known for its being subject to so many charges.
00:53:57.180But change of venue motions can sometimes be subject to what are called interlocutory appeals.
00:54:03.860So there's a lot that will happen before he stands trial in the District of Columbia in front of this judge.
00:54:10.380This judge also is the January 6th hanging judge.
00:54:16.080There hasn't been a single case that has come before her that she hasn't given tougher sentences than even the government was asking for.
00:54:24.880Well, I mean, you need to have, in this case, when you're trying the man who's running against the incumbent president, it has to be Caesar's wife.
00:54:36.260It has to be clearer and cleaner than anything.
00:54:39.560And having the trial in the District of Columbia in front of this judge on the basis of an indictment of this kind is going to just sow greater divisions in this country.
00:54:48.960People are not going to be satisfied that this is fair, objective justice.
00:54:53.800You know, the Bible, the Torah says, lo takir ponim to judges, don't recognize faces, don't do justice based on who the person is, do justice based on the law and the facts.
00:55:05.520And the law and the facts don't support this indictment.
00:55:09.360I don't know how you feel about Jonathan Turley.
00:55:12.860I generally like him because he's kind of like the Constitution.
00:56:41.540But Tunnel to Towers is a great organization that is a foundation that comes forward when some police officer, firefighter, or military member is killed in the line of duty.
00:56:54.240And they pay off the family's mortgage if there is one.
00:56:57.520So they can take that concern off their plate, and they do it right away.
00:57:01.980They have helped over 1,000 military and first responder families during the most difficult parts of their life.
01:08:26.700You can go from 5,000 degrees, which is super, super bright white, to, you know, 2,500 or 3,000 degrees, which is very, very warm and yellow.
01:08:36.340So you choose what, you know, light you have.
01:08:49.080But the light bulb ban that Biden just put in is now on the list of a growing number of home items that they seem to be fixated on.
01:09:02.420Specifically, the DOJ proposed energy consumption standards that, if enacted, would make half of America's gas-powered stoves non-compliant overnight.
01:10:17.880We have three gigantic solar panels, and we get all of our energy from that and back up from a natural gas generator in case we have several cloudy days.
01:10:29.340This thing is so not ready for the public.
01:10:33.280It has cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it to where it is stable.
01:11:33.040So as much as we love the idea of wind, which I don't, solar, which I'm okay with, it's not anywhere close to being ready for anybody to run all of their appliances in their whole house.
01:12:56.060In the last 20 years, we have reduced our carbon emissions to an incredible extent, while still using natural gas and oil.
01:13:12.020We are reducing it, not because of wind and solar, but because we are inventing different ways to use the fossil fuels in a way that is clean.
01:13:23.760Yeah, the overwhelming percentage of the reductions in carbon emissions have come from switching from stuff like coal to natural gas and making that more and more efficient.
01:13:34.320Yes, there has been some solar panels.
01:13:36.600Obviously, there's been tons of money from the government that has gone toward wind power and solar power.
01:13:41.360Unfortunately, not really toward nuclear, which would be an even more dramatic improvement if you care about such things.
01:13:47.800We did open our first nuclear power plant.
01:14:03.520And by the way, Glenn, to add on to your solar power point for a second, this just came out last week while I was on vacation and I had missed it.
01:14:10.540So forgive me if you talked about it while you were on vacation or I was on vacation.
01:14:15.160But a new study from Italy has just shown that solar panels, which 80% of them are made in China.
01:14:23.720Are showing three to five times the amount of carbon dioxide emissions than previously thought.
01:14:30.600They've been selling you all of the models that the IPCC has built to tell you what's going to happen with the climate have all been factoring in solar panels that show the completely wrong amount of carbon emissions associated with their production.
01:14:46.700And they're now saying three to five times the amount, maybe even more than that on the high end.
01:14:52.560That these things are actually doing much more damage than even previously believed.
01:14:59.320This is a huge development that, of course, is getting no press here in America.
01:15:03.900No one in in mainstream media is covering it at all.
01:15:18.620All of their promises, all their projections wind up being wrong.
01:15:22.080And then we're asked to believe them and donate trillions of dollars globally to try to fight these problems that they can't even appropriately describe.
01:15:31.880And they also are telling us that now we'll have computing power that is so strong they'll be able to monitor everything and make sure they they, you know, show your carbon footprint and help you make all the decisions because they can monitor everything in your house.
01:15:51.220The processing power that is coming online in the next five years and just the processing power for the the police state, if you will, to make sure that you are living your life the way, you know, they want you to live your life.
01:16:08.460The processing power alone will take and create more carbon emissions than the entire airline industry in the globe.
01:16:20.920So maybe we should probably maybe I'm just saying slow down on that, especially when you're going to be adding all these electric cars, too.
01:16:30.400I mean, I which we obviously can't handle as far as our electric grid as it is correct today.
01:16:43.740And it's at some at some point you almost admire it from the left and that they create these things that generate that constant state of war.
01:16:51.860We used to talk about that back, you know, years ago, this this endless state of war where obviously when you're in a war, you'll do whatever you whatever you have to.
01:17:00.280And you'll you'll break all sorts of rules to win the war and you'll you'll implement all sorts of new policies.
01:17:05.440And the American people in any population will kind of go along with it because they're so scared of what might be around the corner with a war.
01:17:11.200Well, this they the left has always been trying to create this equivalent to that this this endless state of war.
01:17:18.400You don't have to worry about when the war is over.
01:17:20.100You can continue to do these things if the war is against the climate.
01:17:22.960I mean, think about all the the the complaints we've heard over the past few months, Glenn, about how, oh, well, you know, Hillary Clinton coming out and saying, well, if you if it's a hot outside, thank a MAGA person as if MAGA people control the weather.
01:17:39.360And yet this is happening in a context where we just passed, as they called it, the most expansive and effective global warming policy in the history of the globe.
01:17:50.660The Inflation Reduction Act. Right. That's how they sold that policy.
01:17:55.860They said it was the most impactful thing that has ever been passed in the history of the globe.
01:18:00.260Well, how is it our fault if the weather is bad?
01:18:04.140You guys just got billions and billions and billions of dollars to throw at your pet projects that you told us at the time we're going to heal the climate.
01:18:12.920And now you're still with this. It's just like a war.
01:18:16.640It never ends because you said you want it already and you still get to get all the money and the resources and the and the reason why they have to have this war quickly and then we'll break is because they couldn't convince you to do it yourself.
01:18:31.380They couldn't. The science was bullcrap and the solutions are even worse.
01:18:37.340Boston Mayor Michelle Wu just announced she has banned fossil fuels in new city owned buildings after teaming up with this Boston city director of the Green New Deal.
01:18:48.780Climate action requiring all new buildings and major renovations operate without fossil fuels.
01:18:56.580So that's cooking stoves, onions, onions, ovens, HVAC and hot water heaters.
01:19:03.420Did anyone in Boston vote for that? Did anyone?
01:19:14.420So now they're forcing it on you back in just a minute.
01:19:17.760Our sponsor this half hour is rough greens.
01:19:21.440Whether your dog is a big old giant that sits there drooling next to your recliner or a half pint run that insists on sleeping in your bed.
01:19:30.100Whether you want him to or not, he's still your dog and he's still man's best friend, your best friend.
01:19:36.640And you will still, when they pass away, weep like you have lost a member of the family because you have.
01:19:44.860So when it comes time to put food in the bowl, may I recommend you include rough greens.
01:19:51.180It's a supplement developed by naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black and you sprinkle it on the dog's food.
01:20:04.860If it's healthy for your dog, it's most likely in rough greens and dogs love it.
01:20:09.820The folks at rough greens are so confident that your dog is going to love it and eat it.
01:20:14.140And over the time period of where you're feeding your dog this, you're going to see results and differences in your dog that are all great.
01:30:28.280When you drive by in some parts of the country, mainly the middle part of the country, out in the middle of nowhere, when you see miles of trains just parked, that's not a good thing.
01:30:47.140When you see a signpost like this, the third largest shipper going out of business in America because there's 25% less shipping than expected, you need to take a look at your bank account.
01:31:07.060Is there a way to get ahead of all of this?
01:31:17.900Is what the government telling you true?
01:31:20.660Now, yellow just went out of business.
01:31:22.760And because the government is erratic and doesn't seem to be interested really in a budget, Fitch, the largest ratings agency, has just downgraded the United States of America, our bonds, for the second time.
01:31:43.660So, you know, that is something that when I said that would happen in 2008, they said that will never happen.
01:31:51.460They'll never downgrade the United States.
01:31:54.940Now we are on the verge of our third downgrading, the downgrading of our ratings, our bonds.
01:32:18.000And nobody seems to be worried about that.
01:32:20.800That is something that I was told in 2008, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, that that would never happen.
01:32:30.420The Fed will never buy our bonds and be the only buyer.
01:32:35.300Because I said, nobody's going to buy our stuff.
01:32:37.700Why would you take on debt when it looks like the country isn't serious at all about its debt?
01:32:46.300That it just believes it can spend whatever it wants.
01:32:49.420We have now embraced something that I wrote about in my last two books, Modern Monetary Theory.
01:32:56.640I go into it a bit in this one, Dark Future.
01:32:59.340But it is incredibly important for you to understand, we have just completely changed everything we have ever believed, known, or learned about monetary policy.
01:33:12.500That you cannot print money endlessly and have your dollar or your currency remain whole.
01:38:10.600You can literally see the yellow van lines bankruptcy and see that as U.S. shipping or, you know, just the U.S. itself, we can just ignore it.
01:38:23.100Second largest shipping company in the U.S. goes belly up.
01:40:26.500But I will tell you that when a government gets serious about raising interest rates and making, you know, bringing inflation under control, they raise interest rates and gold goes down.
01:40:38.480This time, no, they're raising interest rates and gold is still holding its own or going up.
01:40:45.020Because the shrewd people know this is a game.
01:40:48.960Please do yourself and your family a favor and at least call Goldline and find out how you can become economically defensive.
