00:01:40.860 enlightenment and enlightenment this is the glenbeck program
00:01:48.900 i'm gonna ask you to take a deep breath before we begin today's national broadcast with uh
00:01:58.300 take it with me
00:02:01.020 it's like we're birthing a baby here um because the list of what has happened just yesterday is a
00:02:12.100 little overwhelming and i need to give you the perspective on it we do that in 60 seconds
00:02:18.860 the glenbeck program so i'm guessing right now if you're you know trying to sell your house oh it's
00:02:30.940 fun isn't it the stress oh i'm remodeling my house right now oh yeah no i just figured you know over the
00:02:39.960 summer let's just throw in some extra stress and uh and so i get it if you need a great real estate
00:02:50.340 agent to help you through all of this what i want you to do is i want you to call real estate agents
00:02:55.680 i trust.com that's real estate agents i trust.com the name says it all real estate agents i trust.com
00:03:03.760 this is the glenbeck program today i want to start with something i i don't know who's even behind
00:03:25.760 um but i have a hard time feeling as though this is actually a conservative group because i want you
00:03:35.820 to look at this poster it's for january 17th the largest armed protest ever to take place on american
00:03:44.080 soil is scheduled please do not get involved in any of this i'm begging you please
00:03:54.280 first of all i don't know who's behind this uh but this is extraordinarily dangerous
00:04:02.260 if you look at the poster it sure looks like a communist poster to me i mean red and yellow the
00:04:10.640 colors of the chinese flag why would you why uh and quite honestly i don't believe anybody in any
00:04:18.400 militia i don't believe anybody on the conservative side put this together because
00:04:23.280 it's actually done with some artistic flair and we don't have any artistic flair please some guy and
00:04:31.520 you know some militias like you know what i'll do the poster and it comes out looking like that i don't
00:04:36.480 think so there i mean the there's an element of the left that is itching itching for you to go to
00:04:44.660 this well let me let me give you why okay so remember how many people were actually in the
00:04:51.580 capitol that engaged in violence okay you know a hundred you know something something in that nature
00:04:57.980 i mean there was more than that in the capitol but you know many of them did not engage in violence
00:05:02.900 right uh though they were still wrong to be there 74 million peaceful trump supporters
00:05:08.800 the percentage of trump supporters that were inside the capitol doing something uh bad or outside
00:05:16.780 doing something bad is 0.00001351 that's how little that was but you would think that the entire world
00:05:35.540 is on fire and i am not excusing it it is bad i put it into the same category as antifa and one
00:05:47.840 of their insurrection riots by the way happening still in portland and nobody seems to care about it but
00:05:57.900 that's a different story so i want you to know that last wednesday a few people who should go to jail
00:06:07.820 and many of them are it's weird how they can find these guys right away but antifa they i don't even
00:06:16.620 know anyway they're going to jail and they should go to jail but let me give you just what has happened
00:06:24.340 yesterday web hosting service go daddy has booted a gun site arfcom from its servers arfcom is down

00:06:43.860 bookmark and backup url noting that their main url will soon be offline the news the news comes as big
00:06:51.760 tech companies have created controversy over the banning of social media network parlor which bills
00:06:57.300 itself as a platform for more open uh free speech okay amazon's partner go daddy has now banned a gun site
00:07:10.100 and somebody the idiots somebody thinks it's a good idea to have armed protests 0.87
00:07:21.240 in all 50 capitals and the nation's capital next week that's going to work out real well let me tell you
00:07:31.480 this you will be responsible for the second amendment being lost there are ways to fight things but you have
00:07:42.820 to use your noodle to figure out the most effective way and that is the least effective way as stew said a
00:07:55.200 minute ago they're itching for you to do this they just can't wait for you to do this how do you think
00:08:02.800 that's going to be perceived well we're gonna scare them no you're not no you're not if you scare them
00:08:11.620 they will take guns away well good then we'll we've got most of the guns are you an idiot 0.96
00:08:19.260 do you want bloodshed do you want the united states to spiral out of control and by the way if the united
00:08:29.280 states ever starts to lose a war against armed insurrectionists do you think the rest of the world
00:08:37.720 will be on your side i'm sorry i don't i'm people are upset and i get it and we are at a crossroads
00:08:47.920 we're seeing what's happening let me give you the news deutsche bank has just dropped donald trump

00:09:38.420 from people who are like is this true is this true i mean my sisters on both sides of the family

00:09:53.280 verify everything before you retweet it retweet it remember i have begged you in the past to keep
00:10:04.040 your honor and your integrity because it's going to be a very valued commodity it will be worth your
00:10:12.580 weight in gold or in bitcoin and i know that bitcoin doesn't actually weigh anything but you need
00:10:20.500 your credibility so please don't retweet stuff and go like i don't know is this true don't don't spread that
00:10:30.220 facebook yesterday had censored um ron paul he says he's been blocked from using his facebook page
00:10:41.180 for unspecified violations of community standards he again doesn't know why he said with no explanation
00:10:49.920 other than repeatedly going against our community standards facebook has blocked me from managing
00:10:54.620 my page we've never received a notice of violating community standards in the past and nowhere is the
00:11:00.420 offending post identified if this is true this is facebook picking a fight this is facebook wanting
00:11:11.520 the powerful center center senator from kentucky to stand against facebook they want regulation because
00:11:22.540 they win in regulation they want the government to regulate why else would you pick a fight
00:11:31.000 with ron paul when rand paul is in the senate that's the dumbest thing unless you have other ideas
00:11:40.940 new york bar association has launched an inquiry into the removal of rudy giuliani from the bar from
00:11:48.360 the new york bar new york is completely lost it i mean
00:11:54.140 move to new jersey from new york and it's like you're moving from china to america and believe me
00:12:02.480 moving from new jersey to texas is china to america that's how bad and off the rails 0.65
00:12:09.760 new york is chapman university is now facing pressure to fire the professor john eastman
00:12:17.440 who spoke up at the pro trump rally before the capitol breach now this is really taking i have to hand it
00:12:25.740 to them those on the left i don't even know where chapman university is i've never even heard of
00:12:32.160 chapman universe have you heard of chapman university i have not no okay so just to protest and to boycott
00:12:38.760 chapman you're really having to do a few google searches i don't think you get that on the first
00:12:43.600 try you're like no no no no not chapstick chapman university uh okay i'm trying check page 412
00:12:53.320 now i just want to remind the audience do you remember the guy in in denver that was at one
00:13:02.740 of the universities in denver and he was preaching about how america is so horrible this is right
00:13:10.280 after 9 11 do you remember this guy long hair i can't even remember what his name was but he was
00:13:15.600 you know saying the native americans need all of the land back and he was just a despicable human
00:13:21.960 being despicable we didn't fire him
00:13:26.160 but you can't have any dissent now police in california are now bracing for pro trump demonstrations
00:13:38.340 at twitter
00:13:39.360 i want to if you're going to protest
00:13:46.360 you have to be so incredibly disciplined and you have to know who is in your ranks
00:13:55.580 this is something that history has shown us
00:13:59.860 what happens when you don't have discipline i know anyone who came with us to birmingham
00:14:09.140 everyone had to sign martin luther king's pledge of non-violence i handed out the 10 steps
00:14:18.140 to non-violence that he had handed out i made everybody march when we marched in the largest
00:14:25.740 civil rights march according to the city of birmingham at least at the time they'll probably
00:14:31.220 say that we were violent or something the largest uh civil rights march in birmingham since martin
00:14:38.740 luther king and i told everyone you have to uh you have to walk the the the route linked arms
00:14:48.960 you have to be in blocks and there's a block captain for every group of i can't remember what it was
00:14:55.100 30 or 50 people and you stay in those blocks and you watch each other and you keep going and people
00:15:01.780 ask me all the time even my own staff why are we doing this this is ridiculous we're not expecting and
00:15:08.200 i said it's not for today it's for what's coming you're going to need this skill
00:15:14.540 now is the time you need this skill and i will teach it to you the best i can over the coming days
00:15:24.360 but what i ask you to do now is don't get involved in any of these groups don't please
00:15:35.120 here's what i want you to do
00:15:40.200 i want you to start today
00:15:46.100 and look at all of the bad things in your life
00:15:50.920 look at all the things that are trouble in your life all the things that have happened to you
00:15:57.380 in your life that you say are
00:16:00.180 something that's keeping you down
00:16:03.280 i lost my job i did you know i i
00:16:07.480 i give you my list my first on my list
00:16:11.800 in my life of woes was
00:16:13.800 when i was a kid i lost my mom
00:16:16.720 my dad asked me to make this list
00:16:21.020 and he was listening to me as i whined
00:16:26.160 to him one day i called him at the bakery and i said dad i just
00:16:30.460 oh woe is me 0.99
00:16:33.340 and my dad was smart enough not to say shut up
00:16:36.620 my dad said oh my gosh you know what son you really have had a tough life you really have
00:16:42.320 and he and i believed him he said it so sincerely that i believed that he believed that
00:16:46.520 and i said right
00:16:48.400 i just don't know how i'm going to get past all this stuff
00:16:51.260 he said you know what
00:16:52.020 i've got some bread in the oven
00:16:53.680 and i've got to get it out
00:16:55.320 and would you do me a favor make a list of all the things that have happened in your life that are just
00:17:00.080 really bad and i know you got a lot of them
00:17:02.460 and then call me tonight we can talk about it
00:17:05.540 i started writing the list i think i got down to like number four
00:17:10.620 and i called my dad back
00:17:12.680 my dad was sitting on a stool
00:17:15.020 near the bench of the bakery
00:17:17.020 he didn't have any bread in the oven
00:17:19.360 and i called him back and i said dad you don't have any bread in the oven at all do you
00:17:23.700 and he laughed and he said you're smarter than that
00:17:26.380 that didn't take you very long to figure out
00:17:28.460 i'll tell you what i figured out
00:17:31.620 in one minute
00:17:33.400 there's so much more we have to talk about
00:17:38.600 and uh
00:17:39.660 and it's it's really important
00:17:42.040 for those who are part of this audience
00:17:45.520 and
00:17:46.380 know that they are going to be part of the solution
00:17:50.020 please join me every day
00:17:52.380 please join me every day
00:17:53.820 you will get a different message here
00:17:56.480 than elsewhere
00:17:57.600 politics is really important
00:17:59.540 but it is not
00:18:01.600 the answer
00:18:02.780 it is something we all have to deal with
00:18:05.300 but it is not the answer
00:18:06.860 car shield is our sponsor this half hour
00:18:10.260 car shield
00:18:12.760 uh
00:18:13.320 it's pretty radical
00:18:14.140 uh
00:18:15.320 instead of
00:18:16.020 uh
00:18:16.240 getting on social media to scream at one another
00:18:18.360 uh
00:18:19.100 what if we got into our cars
00:18:21.000 and
00:18:21.680 um
00:18:22.440 we screamed at each other in person
00:18:24.900 because i don't think we actually would
00:18:27.520 say these things in person
00:18:29.140 if we actually were standing next to our neighbor
00:18:31.720 or somebody you know
00:18:32.820 in our own family
00:18:33.820 but glenn
00:18:35.780 our cars will break down
00:18:37.640 because it's winter

00:19:57.560 you're smart enough to know this
00:20:00.180 already
00:20:01.100 but for those who
00:20:02.320 couldn't figure out what my dad was trying to do
00:20:04.940 i called him up and i said dad
00:20:06.680 you know the number one thing was
00:20:07.860 mom committed suicide
00:20:08.800 when i'm you know 14-15 years old
00:20:10.800 and uh he said uh-huh
00:20:14.080 and i said but as i was listing these things off
00:20:18.260 i realized but if that didn't happen
00:20:20.840 i wouldn't have
00:20:23.320 moved in with you
00:20:25.540 and i wouldn't have learned this this and this
00:20:28.080 and i don't think
00:20:29.440 that my career would have
00:20:32.120 happened
00:20:33.200 without that event
00:20:35.480 and it's not because of that event
00:20:37.200 it's just what happened
00:20:38.260 and he said
00:20:38.960 son
00:20:39.980 congratulations
00:20:41.680 life is not about
00:20:44.840 the bad things that have happened to you
00:20:47.360 it's about
00:20:48.840 what you do with them
00:20:50.480 can you apply those things
00:20:54.080 in a positive way
00:20:56.160 in your life
00:20:57.380 so now
00:20:59.200 i am not going to ask you next week
00:21:01.360 to stay at home
00:21:02.620 donald trump has just issued
00:21:05.620 a national emergency
00:21:07.480 for the inauguration
00:21:09.780 i think that's one of the worst things
00:21:11.840 we could do
00:21:13.220 because national emergencies
00:21:14.780 don't go away
00:21:16.720 and it suspends all kinds of restrictions
00:21:21.160 but he has just issued a national emergency
00:21:24.500 for the for next week
00:21:26.780 because of these events
00:21:30.620 i'm not just going to ask you
00:21:33.260 to stay away from those things
00:21:34.460 i want you to do something positive
00:21:36.660 i want you next week
00:21:39.780 it's martin luther king day
00:21:41.720 next monday
00:21:42.540 how appropriate is that
00:21:44.300 i mean it's like the universe
00:21:45.620 just
00:21:46.100 god's like shouting up
00:21:48.160 hello
00:21:48.680 hello
00:21:49.940 i'm here
00:21:51.080 i'm sending you
00:21:52.560 some information
00:21:53.780 can anyone see it
00:21:55.960 he's doing that
00:21:58.320 and it's happening
00:21:59.940 and we just have to look for it
00:22:01.640 so
00:22:02.500 whether next week
00:22:04.020 you just
00:22:04.960 spend the day
00:22:06.080 with your family
00:22:06.720 or yourself
00:22:07.360 and beginning today
00:22:08.680 make a list of all the bad things
00:22:10.520 that have happened in your life
00:22:11.400 and how have you used them
00:22:13.040 to accomplish great things
00:22:15.640 in your life
00:22:16.360 then i want you to start looking
00:22:18.260 at the things you're grateful for
00:22:19.960 the things that are good
00:22:21.800 i can tell you all about covid
00:22:23.740 but i can tell you also
00:22:25.980 all of the great things
00:22:27.140 that have happened
00:22:27.880 especially to my family
00:22:29.580 because of covid
00:22:30.980 so we
00:22:33.440 we
00:22:34.100 this audience
00:22:35.160 need to
00:22:36.360 change
00:22:37.160 our focus
00:22:38.120 and next year
00:22:39.820 or next
00:22:40.360 next week
00:22:41.480 on inauguration day
00:22:42.820 put positive out
00:22:44.180 i want you
00:22:44.980 to go volunteer
00:22:45.960 your time
00:22:46.820 go work at a soup kitchen 0.98
00:22:48.520 go help
00:22:49.280 someone
00:22:50.000 next door
00:22:50.900 this is
00:22:51.900 the glenbeck program
00:22:53.360 because they're itching for a fight
00:22:56.300 and i'll give you the list of things
00:22:57.920 that they did yesterday
00:22:58.820 that is just
00:22:59.700 enough to make your head explode
00:23:01.140 um
00:23:02.060 we'll give you that
00:23:02.900 coming up in just a second
00:23:04.320 first
00:23:04.700 it's a new year
00:23:06.100 which usually means one thing
00:23:07.660 we make those new year's resolutions
00:23:09.500 that turn out to be
00:23:10.620 so hard
00:23:11.240 to
00:23:11.540 to do
00:23:12.400 after the long
00:23:13.420 you know
00:23:13.900 journey of maybe like
00:23:14.960 five days
00:23:15.840 i'm going to give you one
00:23:17.480 that's easy to keep
00:23:18.760 protect yourself
00:23:20.240 from identity theft
00:23:21.420 right now
00:23:22.600 the internet
00:23:23.120 is the wild wild west
00:23:25.360 it is
00:23:26.340 very dangerous
00:23:27.600 to be
00:23:27.960 and all of us
00:23:28.720 are on the internet
00:23:29.540 all the time
00:23:30.700 especially if your kids
00:23:31.840 are still at home
00:23:32.960 you are so
00:23:35.120 open
00:23:36.220 for hackers
00:23:37.000 to come in
00:23:37.800 and steal your identity
00:23:38.960 and everything else
00:23:39.920 no one can prevent
00:23:41.300 all identity
00:23:41.960 theft
00:23:42.780 or monitor all transactions
00:23:44.380 at all businesses
00:23:45.180 but lifelock
00:23:46.100 is the one

00:24:16.800 hey by the way
00:24:21.260 that
00:24:21.700 that dope
00:24:24.540 that
00:24:25.140 you know
00:24:26.540 was wearing the helmet
00:24:27.420 and standing
00:24:28.280 by the speaker's chair
00:24:29.960 that broke in
00:24:31.360 it was like
00:24:31.860 dress
00:24:32.200 because I'm like
00:24:32.940 a military guy
00:24:34.240 no you're not dude
00:24:35.420 and he had the
00:24:36.980 he had the zip ties
00:24:38.720 for the handcuffs
00:24:39.660 for all the people
00:24:40.560 I'm going to arrest
00:24:41.700 shut up
00:24:43.240 anyway he is
00:24:45.420 he's refusing to
00:24:47.700 to eat
00:24:49.040 any of the prison food
00:24:50.800 or the jail food
00:24:51.640 because
00:24:52.240 it's not organic
00:24:53.820 and
00:24:55.100 well sucks to be him
00:24:58.140 stripe
00:24:59.760 most people don't know
00:25:01.980 what stripe is
00:25:03.500 but stripe is
00:25:04.700 extraordinarily
00:25:06.200 important
00:25:07.260 stripe is a
00:25:09.140 processing
00:25:09.700 system
00:25:11.140 that if you are
00:25:12.880 doing any kind
00:25:13.820 of business
00:25:14.340 online
00:25:15.040 and it takes
00:25:15.720 a credit card
00:25:16.500 it's usually done
00:25:17.640 by stripe
00:25:18.480 or a couple
00:25:19.020 of other companies
00:25:19.840 and if you
00:25:22.000 don't have stripe
00:25:23.040 you can't
00:25:24.580 process
00:25:25.360 anything online
00:25:26.780 stripe
00:25:27.880 is no longer
00:25:28.760 processing payments
00:25:29.720 for president
00:25:30.280 trump's campaign
00:25:31.020 website
00:25:31.540 or any
00:25:33.480 of his
00:25:34.540 you know
00:25:35.400 t-shirt sales
00:25:36.480 or anything else
00:25:37.740 that's wonderful
00:25:38.300 shopify
00:25:39.640 has taken down
00:25:41.220 all trump
00:25:41.900 organization
00:25:42.600 and trump
00:25:43.740 campaign stores
00:25:44.720 offline
00:25:45.580 so shopify
00:25:46.580 I mean
00:25:47.360 you can't process
00:25:48.540 your credit card
00:25:49.660 and you can't
00:25:52.480 even find the
00:25:53.220 website
00:25:53.580 or you can find
00:25:54.680 the website
00:25:55.100 but they don't
00:25:56.100 have anything
00:25:56.440 for sale now
00:25:57.080 because shopify
00:25:58.440 is also another
00:25:59.320 if you will
00:25:59.820 plug in
00:26:00.300 if you will
00:26:00.780 that people
00:26:02.700 use to sell
00:26:03.560 stuff
00:26:03.900 so you got
00:26:04.680 that going
00:26:05.100 for you
00:26:05.440 the abc news
00:26:07.160 political director
00:26:08.340 said
00:26:10.120 I don't want
00:26:12.720 to quote him
00:26:13.440 here
00:26:13.900 trump will be
00:26:16.260 the ex-president
00:26:17.160 in 13 days
00:26:18.620 the fact
00:26:19.900 the fact
00:26:21.200 is that
00:26:21.980 getting rid
00:26:22.540 of trump
00:26:23.040 is the easiest
00:26:23.880 part
00:26:24.380 quoting
00:26:25.540 cleansing
00:26:26.780 the movement
00:26:27.980 he commands
00:26:29.020 is going to
00:26:29.680 be something
00:26:30.060 else
00:26:30.460 oh
00:26:31.660 I love
00:26:33.100 it
00:26:33.280 when we
00:26:33.600 talk about
00:26:34.080 cleansing
00:26:34.740 movements
00:26:35.620 nothing ever
00:26:36.760 bad happens
00:26:37.740 like when you
00:26:38.840 use the word
00:26:39.240 cleansing
00:26:39.760 I can't remember
00:26:41.440 any
00:26:41.720 it's always
00:26:43.700 worked out
00:26:44.080 really well
00:26:44.520 apparently we've
00:26:44.900 all forgotten
00:26:45.660 we've all forgotten
00:26:47.120 things that we
00:26:47.780 said hey
00:26:48.560 let's not
00:26:49.100 forget this
00:26:49.800 we've all
00:26:50.860 forgotten those
00:26:51.580 things
00:26:52.060 it's weird
00:26:53.160 yeah
00:26:53.700 again I think
00:26:54.500 it's a soap
00:26:55.060 thing
00:26:55.340 I'm really
00:26:56.040 fuzzy on it
00:26:56.940 but the word
00:26:58.240 cleansing
00:26:58.660 oh and by
00:26:59.240 the way
00:26:59.480 he knew
00:27:00.200 that was
00:27:00.620 bad
00:27:00.960 he deleted
00:27:01.880 that tweet
00:27:02.580 so we got
00:27:04.360 that going
00:27:04.780 for us
00:27:05.400 but he still
00:27:06.420 has his job
00:27:06.980 don't worry
00:27:07.360 and he will
00:27:08.200 forever
00:27:08.940 don't worry
00:27:09.700 they would
00:27:10.040 never fire
00:27:10.780 the political
00:27:11.740 director of
00:27:12.440 ABC saying
00:27:13.240 we just need
00:27:14.500 a good
00:27:14.920 cleansing
00:27:15.480 hey
00:27:16.480 all you
00:27:17.380 people get
00:27:18.120 into this
00:27:18.720 shower over
00:27:19.560 here
00:27:19.960 they'll read
00:27:20.680 into every
00:27:21.520 Republican's
00:27:22.440 comments to
00:27:23.140 say that they
00:27:23.640 were inciting
00:27:24.140 riots but
00:27:24.980 you know
00:27:25.280 people tweeting
00:27:26.200 about cleansing
00:27:26.780 movements
00:27:27.380 there will be
00:27:27.820 no repercussions
00:27:29.020 for that
00:27:29.460 whatsoever
00:27:29.780 yeah
00:27:30.620 okay so
00:27:32.260 the president
00:27:32.760 I told you
00:27:33.320 just declared
00:27:34.440 a national
00:27:35.120 emergency
00:27:35.640 because of
00:27:38.160 what they
00:27:39.600 say is
00:27:40.460 coming
00:27:40.880 I think
00:27:42.320 there are
00:27:46.980 many things
00:27:47.480 that I believe
00:27:48.000 that I shall
00:27:48.480 never say
00:27:49.120 but I shall
00:27:50.800 never say the
00:27:51.460 things that I
00:27:52.080 do not believe
00:27:52.860 okay so
00:27:57.640 there is a
00:27:59.220 this event
00:28:00.240 next week
00:28:01.600 and they're
00:28:03.680 calling for
00:28:04.500 armed insurrection
00:28:05.720 in all of the
00:28:06.760 state capitals
00:28:07.500 and in
00:28:08.020 Washington DC
00:28:08.840 don't do
00:28:11.460 it but he
00:28:12.700 declared a
00:28:13.240 national emergency
00:28:13.980 because of
00:28:15.200 that CNN
00:28:16.600 their senior
00:28:19.020 media reporter
00:28:20.260 is demanding
00:28:21.420 the targeting
00:28:22.460 of conservative
00:28:23.280 media outlets
00:28:24.540 who have
00:28:25.860 ignored their
00:28:26.720 anti-Trump
00:28:27.580 bias in
00:28:28.320 reporting on
00:28:29.100 the president
00:28:29.600 and his
00:28:30.160 administration
00:28:30.820 Oliver
00:28:32.020 frickin
00:28:33.160 Darcy
00:28:34.160 demanded
00:28:35.780 conservative
00:28:36.440 news sources
00:28:37.460 be held
00:28:38.280 accountable
00:28:39.200 suggesting that
00:28:40.880 they must be
00:28:41.640 squelched
00:28:42.600 an expansion
00:28:44.260 of the so 0.90
00:28:45.080 called
00:28:45.480 cancel
00:28:46.160 culture
00:28:46.840 TV
00:28:48.160 providers
00:28:48.820 that beam 0.70
00:28:49.520 OAN
00:28:50.020 and Newsmax
00:28:51.080 into homes
00:28:52.120 or rush
00:28:52.780 Limbaugh
00:28:53.420 there are a lot
00:28:54.320 of people
00:28:54.740 profiting off
00:28:55.560 of lies
00:28:56.180 and conspiracy
00:28:57.000 theories
00:28:57.640 but Oliver
00:28:58.780 works for free
00:28:59.860 you've heard of
00:29:01.280 Oliver
00:29:01.620 I'd like more
00:29:02.620 please
00:29:03.160 he's a poor
00:29:04.300 little orphan
00:29:05.180 he just went
00:29:06.620 to CNN
00:29:07.260 because
00:29:07.840 well nobody
00:29:09.220 would hire me
00:29:10.160 I'd like more
00:29:11.720 please
00:29:12.140 and Brian
00:29:13.580 Stelter said
00:29:14.340 oh I'll give
00:29:15.140 you a ladle
00:29:16.560 full of
00:29:17.120 slop me
00:29:17.960 boy
00:29:18.500 there it
00:29:19.260 is
00:29:19.760 and little
00:29:20.840 poor Darcy 0.96
00:29:21.960 says
00:29:22.620 please
00:29:24.280 all these
00:29:25.280 people are
00:29:25.880 making profits
00:29:27.120 and I and
00:29:28.420 CNN are not
00:29:29.500 looking for
00:29:30.020 profit
00:29:30.480 at all
00:29:31.980 he said
00:29:33.540 this informational
00:29:34.440 environment
00:29:35.060 must be
00:29:35.920 cleaned up
00:29:36.560 cleaned up
00:29:38.200 maybe cleansed
00:29:39.560 you're on the
00:29:42.780 wrong side
00:29:43.440 Oliver
00:29:43.840 wake up
00:29:45.200 dude
00:29:45.660 Facebook
00:29:47.140 now has
00:29:48.160 their
00:29:48.840 preparations
00:29:49.620 for
00:29:50.400 inauguration
00:29:51.020 day
00:29:51.360 Facebook
00:29:53.600 said
00:29:53.980 we began
00:29:54.880 preparing
00:29:55.360 for
00:29:55.640 inauguration
00:29:56.320 day
00:29:56.700 last year
00:29:57.660 I'll bet
00:29:58.340 you did
00:29:58.760 but our
00:29:59.460 planning
00:29:59.960 took on
00:30:00.520 new urgency
00:30:01.380 after last
00:30:02.420 week's
00:30:02.720 violence
00:30:03.080 in DC
00:30:03.620 and we're
00:30:04.700 treating
00:30:05.040 the next
00:30:05.520 two weeks
00:30:06.080 as a
00:30:06.500 major
00:30:07.000 civic
00:30:07.540 event
00:30:08.020 I think
00:30:10.620 that's
00:30:11.020 what
00:30:12.400 inauguration
00:30:13.420 always is
00:30:14.280 Facebook
00:30:14.740 is a
00:30:15.440 quote
00:30:16.420 major
00:30:16.980 civic
00:30:17.460 event
00:30:18.000 we're
00:30:21.300 taking
00:30:21.620 the
00:30:21.840 additional
00:30:22.240 steps
00:30:22.720 and
00:30:22.940 using
00:30:23.240 the
00:30:23.480 same
00:30:23.720 teams
00:30:24.160 and
00:30:24.460 technologies
00:30:25.060 we use
00:30:25.700 during
00:30:25.940 the
00:30:26.120 general
00:30:26.380 election
00:30:26.760 to
00:30:27.380 stop
00:30:27.840 misinformation
00:30:28.500 and
00:30:29.200 content
00:30:29.720 that
00:30:30.020 could
00:30:30.260 incite
00:30:30.700 further
00:30:31.140 violence
00:30:31.620 during
00:30:31.900 these
00:30:32.120 next
00:30:32.360 few
00:30:32.580 weeks
00:30:32.820 you know
00:30:33.320 what I
00:30:33.500 love
00:30:33.660 about
00:30:33.900 Facebook
00:30:34.240 is
00:30:34.460 they're
00:30:34.660 so
00:30:34.980 smart
00:30:35.940 they
00:30:36.760 are
00:30:36.900 so
00:30:37.140 smart
00:30:37.780 dummies
00:30:38.980 like
00:30:39.320 me
00:30:39.680 thinking
00:30:40.240 think
00:30:40.740 that
00:30:41.240 if
00:30:41.420 you
00:30:41.620 silence
00:30:42.460 and
00:30:43.600 call
00:30:44.320 half
00:30:45.240 of
00:30:45.480 the
00:30:45.680 country
00:30:46.260 idiots
00:30:47.500 morons
00:30:48.740 deplorables
00:30:51.060 racists
00:30:52.840 revolutionaries
00:30:55.700 that just
00:30:56.000 want to
00:30:56.280 overthrow
00:30:56.900 the government
00:30:57.500 if you
00:30:58.100 do that
00:30:58.680 for a
00:30:59.000 long
00:30:59.160 period
00:30:59.360 of
00:30:59.500 time
00:30:59.680 and
00:31:00.100 then
00:31:00.480 when
00:31:00.740 they
00:31:00.880 finally
00:31:01.180 say
00:31:01.540 hey
00:31:01.900 I'm
00:31:02.440 not
00:31:02.860 that
00:31:03.260 then
00:31:03.920 you
00:31:04.220 silence
00:31:05.060 everyone
00:31:05.720 see
00:31:06.660 I
00:31:07.000 would
00:31:07.240 think
00:31:07.480 that
00:31:07.680 would
00:31:07.800 make
00:31:08.040 things
00:31:08.380 worse
00:31:08.860 but
00:31:09.240 Facebook
00:31:09.940 they
00:31:11.880 have
00:31:12.140 AI
00:31:12.500 helping
00:31:12.920 them
00:31:13.280 so
00:31:14.240 they
00:31:14.480 know
00:31:14.720 better
00:31:15.100 than

00:32:45.720 I
00:32:45.880 warn
00:32:46.180 you
00:32:46.460 this
00:32:47.420 is
00:32:47.600 going
00:32:47.780 to
00:32:47.920 make
00:32:48.140 things
00:32:48.580 worse
00:32:49.360 it's
00:32:50.380 almost
00:32:50.940 as
00:32:51.520 if
00:32:51.860 this
00:32:52.180 has
00:32:52.380 been
00:32:52.860 designed
00:32:53.680 to
00:32:54.060 be
00:32:54.300 bad
00:32:54.920 right
00:32:55.400 of course
00:32:56.140 it's
00:32:56.400 not

00:33:04.240 so
00:33:06.080 they
00:33:07.280 censored
00:33:07.760 because
00:33:08.020 they're

00:33:08.820 company
00:33:09.300 and

00:33:31.160 are
00:33:31.380 doing
00:33:31.680 they're
00:33:33.480 suing
00:33:34.100 the

00:33:34.600 company
00:33:35.020 up in
00:33:35.320 Idaho
00:33:35.620 because
00:33:36.280 they
00:33:36.500 say
00:33:36.640 they
00:33:36.760 don't
00:33:36.920 have

00:33:42.820 they
00:33:43.020 can't
00:33:43.340 do
00:33:43.480 that
00:33:43.860 oh
00:33:45.520 really
00:33:47.140 boy
00:33:49.080 I
00:33:49.280 would
00:33:49.540 hate
00:33:49.980 it

00:33:51.260 any

00:33:53.360 would

00:33:54.440 this
00:33:54.760 Idaho
00:33:55.320 company
00:33:55.980 and
00:33:57.400 do
00:33:58.260 exactly
00:33:58.960 the
00:33:59.340 same
00:33:59.660 to
00:33:59.860 Facebook
00:34:00.260 or
00:34:00.560 Twitter
00:34:00.760 because
00:34:01.660 I
00:34:02.040 just
00:34:02.540 be
00:34:02.800 so
00:34:03.120 curious
00:34:03.720 to
00:34:04.000 see
00:34:04.440 how
00:34:05.280 this
00:34:05.560 would
00:34:05.740 work
00:34:06.040 out
00:34:06.260 in
00:34:06.380 the
00:34:06.500 Supreme
00:34:06.860 Court
00:34:07.220 good
00:34:07.920 chance
00:34:08.480 it
00:34:09.040 doesn't
00:34:09.480 work
00:34:09.720 out
00:34:09.900 in
00:34:10.020 our
00:34:10.200 favor
00:34:10.580 who
00:34:11.100 would
00:34:11.340 have
00:34:11.500 thunk
00:34:11.760 that
00:34:12.320 but
00:34:14.540 why
00:34:15.020 why
00:34:17.440 wouldn't
00:34:17.840 it
00:34:17.980 work
00:34:18.220 out
00:34:18.420 in
00:34:18.560 our
00:34:18.760 favor
00:34:19.100 hmm
00:34:19.960 they
00:34:21.600 can
00:34:21.860 block
00:34:22.260 people
00:34:22.660 because
00:34:23.180 they
00:34:23.680 don't
00:34:23.960 like
00:34:24.220 what
00:34:24.420 they're
00:34:24.600 doing
00:34:25.000 and
00:34:25.480 they
00:34:25.800 can
00:34:26.020 do
00:34:26.200 it
00:34:26.340 because
00:34:26.640 they're
00:34:27.060 a
00:34:27.220 private
00:34:27.580 company
00:34:28.100 but
00:34:28.660 this
00:34:28.960 internet
00:34:29.540 provider
00:34:30.400 they
00:34:31.940 say
00:34:32.520 no
00:34:33.720 and you
00:34:34.080 know
00:34:34.180 what
00:34:34.360 Facebook
00:34:34.780 says
00:34:35.220 is
00:34:35.420 that's
00:34:36.240 why
00:34:36.400 we
00:34:36.600 need
00:34:36.940 net
00:34:38.060 neutrality
00:34:39.120 I
00:34:40.840 get
00:34:41.320 really
00:34:41.760 worried
00:34:42.080 about
00:34:42.280 these
00:34:42.580 restrictions
00:34:43.140 let
00:34:43.820 the
00:34:44.160 private
00:34:44.720 company
00:34:45.560 do
00:34:46.080 what
00:34:46.480 they
00:34:46.640 want
00:34:46.880 if
00:34:47.000 the
00:34:47.120 Idaho
00:34:47.360 company
00:34:47.780 wants
00:34:48.000 to
00:34:48.140 say
00:34:48.300 you
00:34:48.460 can't
00:34:48.700 go
00:34:48.800 on
00:34:48.960 Twitter
00:34:49.180 which
00:34:49.560 by
00:34:49.720 the
00:34:49.800 way
00:34:49.900 they
00:34:50.080 did
00:34:50.840 give
00:34:51.100 you
00:34:51.200 the
00:34:51.380 option
00:34:51.820 of
00:34:52.080 opting
00:34:52.480 in
00:34:52.820 to
00:34:53.440 getting
00:34:53.620 to
00:34:53.760 Twitter
00:34:53.960 or
00:34:54.140 Facebook
00:34:54.400 they
00:34:55.100 just
00:34:55.260 changed
00:34:55.540 the
00:34:55.700 choice
00:34:56.000 structure
00:34:56.540 and
00:34:57.800 that's
00:34:58.780 totally
00:34:59.340 okay
00:34:59.680 you can
00:34:59.860 ask
00:35:00.040 Cass Sunstein
00:35:00.580 just
00:35:00.980 change
00:35:01.380 the
00:35:01.540 choice
00:35:01.780 structure
00:35:02.220 if
00:35:02.440 you
00:35:02.520 want
00:35:02.700 something
00:35:02.920 to
00:35:03.080 happen
00:35:03.340 well
00:35:03.860 Cass
00:35:09.120 choice
00:35:09.620 structure
00:35:10.100 thank
00:35:10.460 you
00:35:10.600 for
00:35:10.780 reminding
00:35:11.160 me
00:35:11.420 of
00:35:11.560 that
00:35:11.780 yeah
00:35:12.060 it's
00:35:12.340 been
00:35:12.480 a while
00:35:12.720 since
00:35:12.920 we've
00:35:14.060 been
00:35:14.320 on
00:35:14.500 the
00:35:14.680 you
00:35:15.280 know
00:35:15.440 the
00:35:15.740 dangerous
00:35:16.340 the
00:35:17.980 dangerous
00:35:18.420 path
00:35:18.860 of
00:35:19.040 questioning
00:35:19.640 Cass
00:35:20.540 Sunstein
00:35:20.980 it's
00:35:21.320 been
00:35:21.460 a
00:35:21.600 long
00:35:21.800 time
00:35:22.100 since
00:35:22.300 we've
00:35:22.500 been
00:35:22.580 on
00:35:22.700 that
00:35:22.860 dangerous
00:35:23.220 path
00:35:23.600 and
00:35:23.740 my
00:35:24.240 gosh
00:35:24.460 we've
00:35:24.700 learned
00:35:24.880 a lot
00:35:25.180 since
00:35:25.540 haven't
00:35:25.820 we
00:35:25.940 still
00:35:26.120 we
00:35:26.480 sure
00:35:26.680 have
00:35:26.840 we're
00:35:27.440 not
00:35:27.620 going
00:35:27.740 to
00:35:27.800 go
00:35:27.900 down
00:35:28.080 that
00:35:28.340 road
00:35:28.580 I'll
00:35:28.740 tell
00:35:28.900 you
00:35:28.980 that
00:35:29.180 right
00:35:29.400 now
00:35:29.700 this
00:35:29.940 is
00:35:30.100 what
00:35:30.260 I
00:35:30.400 fear
00:35:30.640 about
00:35:30.840 this
00:35:31.060 stuff
00:35:31.300 though
00:35:31.440 because
00:35:31.760 you're
00:35:32.020 right
00:35:32.220 the
00:35:32.420 taking
00:35:33.860 away
00:35:34.260 the
00:35:34.560 opportunity
00:35:35.200 for a
00:35:35.620 private
00:35:35.860 company
00:35:36.260 to
00:35:36.620 do
00:35:37.020 something
00:35:37.440 stupid 0.75
00:35:37.920 brings
00:35:39.220 in
00:35:39.540 the
00:35:39.940 government
00:35:40.360 giving
00:35:41.080 them
00:35:41.420 the
00:35:41.620 opportunity
00:35:42.060 to
00:35:42.400 do
00:35:42.620 something
00:35:42.960 stupid 0.75
00:35:43.400 okay
00:35:43.920 and
00:35:44.220 that
00:35:44.440 does
00:35:44.700 not
00:35:44.880 work
00:35:45.100 out
00:35:45.220 well
00:35:45.440 you
00:35:45.640 think
00:35:45.900 that
00:35:46.060 there's
00:35:46.300 no
00:35:46.520 one
00:35:46.720 to
00:35:46.900 run
00:35:47.160 to
00:35:47.480 with
00:35:47.800 Facebook
00:35:48.140 and
00:35:48.440 Google
00:35:48.740 wait
00:35:49.960 until
00:35:50.260 Facebook
00:35:50.640 and
00:35:50.940 Google
00:35:51.180 are
00:35:51.380 in
00:35:51.560 bed
00:35:51.740 with
00:35:51.900 the
00:35:52.040 government
00:35:52.440 yeah
00:35:52.900 then
00:35:53.540 who
00:35:53.700 do
00:35:53.800 you
00:35:53.860 run
00:35:54.020 to
00:36:00.100 is
00:36:00.320 pissed
00:36:00.620 off
00:36:00.960 that
00:36:01.140 they
00:36:01.300 banned
00:36:01.580 Trump
00:36:01.960 from
00:36:02.420 Twitter
00:36:02.700 yeah
00:36:03.040 and
00:36:03.720 and
00:36:04.000 you
00:36:04.140 see
00:36:04.480 that
00:36:04.640 you're
00:36:04.760 like
00:36:04.900 well
00:36:05.180 good
00:36:05.440 at least
00:36:05.700 someone's
00:36:06.200 standing up
00:36:06.640 no
00:36:06.920 no
00:36:07.220 no
00:36:07.440 someone's
00:36:08.120 don't run
00:36:08.520 there
00:36:08.840 don't do
00:36:09.440 that
00:36:09.680 that was
00:36:10.020 my initial
00:36:10.500 reaction
00:36:10.820 I'm like
00:36:11.040 yeah
00:36:11.340 because it
00:36:11.800 is
00:36:11.960 ridiculous
00:36:12.540 right
00:36:12.940 even
00:36:13.320 you could
00:36:13.880 argue
00:36:14.220 okay
00:36:15.360 a regular
00:36:15.760 person
00:36:16.300 maybe
00:36:17.360 Twitter
00:36:17.660 wants to
00:36:18.180 to
00:36:18.500 to
00:36:18.820 moderate
00:36:19.260 in some
00:36:19.700 way
00:36:19.900 it's
00:36:20.240 their
00:36:20.360 private
00:36:20.600 company
00:36:20.900 but a
00:36:21.420 world
00:36:21.620 leader
00:36:21.880 should
00:36:22.080 be
00:36:22.200 able
00:36:22.360 to
00:36:22.440 be
00:36:22.540 on
00:36:22.640 record
00:36:22.920 you know
00:36:23.360 I want
00:36:23.620 to know
00:36:23.940 what
00:36:24.300 Trump
00:36:24.700 is
00:36:25.020 thinking
00:36:25.340 I want
00:36:25.840 to know
00:36:26.100 what
00:36:26.360 what
00:36:26.640 Biden
00:36:26.900 is
00:36:27.120 thinking
00:36:27.400 you throw
00:36:27.800 them off
00:36:28.340 of Twitter
00:36:28.880 we might
00:36:29.640 not know
00:36:29.980 that
00:36:30.180 that's an
00:36:30.500 important
00:36:30.760 thing for
00:36:31.100 history
00:36:31.460 for all
00:36:31.880 of us
00:36:32.160 however
00:36:33.220 that's
00:36:33.500 not what
00:36:33.720 Angela
00:36:33.980 Merkel
00:36:34.200 is
00:36:34.400 saying
00:36:34.600 at all
00:36:34.900 no
00:36:35.160 no
00:36:35.500 no
00:36:35.840 she's
00:36:36.160 saying
00:36:36.340 she's
00:36:36.760 mad
00:36:37.160 that
00:36:37.780 a
00:36:37.960 private
00:36:38.400 company
00:36:38.960 has
00:36:39.620 the
00:36:39.840 ability
00:36:40.300 to
00:36:40.580 censor
00:36:41.060 someone
00:36:41.480 when
00:36:41.900 that
00:36:42.120 should
00:36:42.460 be
00:36:42.640 what
00:36:42.820 the
00:36:42.960 government
00:36:43.320 is
00:36:43.520 doing
00:36:43.780 yes
00:36:44.240 the
00:36:44.440 government
00:36:44.820 should
00:36:45.100 be
00:36:45.280 censored
00:36:45.740 how dare
00:36:46.320 you
00:36:46.560 that's
00:36:46.920 our
00:36:47.120 job
00:36:47.340 that's
00:36:48.140 our
00:36:48.320 job
00:36:48.640 to
00:36:48.860 deperson
00:36:49.420 people
00:36:49.860 that's
00:36:50.640 really
00:36:50.900 what
00:36:51.080 you're
00:36:51.260 saying
00:36:51.640 and
00:36:51.940 I'm
00:36:52.140 really
00:36:52.400 upset
00:36:52.780 about
00:36:53.080 Deutsche
00:36:53.480 Bank
00:36:53.980 which
00:36:54.240 I'm
00:36:54.560 pretty
00:36:55.060 sure
00:36:55.840 is
00:36:56.280 German
00:36:56.920 for
00:36:57.980 no
00:36:58.200 longer
00:36:58.540 allowing
00:36:59.180 any
00:36:59.620 loans
00:37:00.140 or
00:37:00.400 any
00:37:00.640 business
00:37:01.040 to be
00:37:01.380 done
00:37:01.720 with
00:37:02.020 any
00:37:02.480 Donald
00:37:03.100 Trump
00:37:03.460 organization
00:37:04.160 that's
00:37:04.920 not
00:37:05.160 the
00:37:05.380 right
00:37:05.640 of
00:37:05.820 that
00:37:06.020 German
00:37:06.520 Nazi
00:37:06.900 that
00:37:07.280 German
00:37:07.640 bank
00:37:08.120 wait
00:37:08.580 how did
00:37:08.820 you
00:37:08.900 get
00:37:09.040 German
00:37:09.340 out
00:37:11.140 of
00:37:11.220 that
00:37:11.440 Deutsche
00:37:12.020 probably
00:37:13.460 Dutch
00:37:14.300 probably
00:37:14.860 means
00:37:16.480 Dutch
00:37:17.040 in
00:37:18.460 German
00:37:18.820 but
00:37:19.340 it
00:37:19.480 probably
00:37:19.760 means
00:37:20.100 Dutch
00:37:20.460 oh
00:37:23.360 gotta
00:37:24.320 laugh
00:37:24.860 gotta
00:37:25.540 laugh
00:37:26.060 or
00:37:27.240 we'll
00:37:27.560 all
00:37:27.920 hang
00:37:28.440 ourselves
00:37:28.940 let's
00:37:29.660 see
00:37:29.940 American
00:37:30.840 financing
00:37:31.500 sure
00:37:32.980 the world
00:37:33.480 is imploding
00:37:34.260 just a
00:37:34.840 little bit
00:37:35.340 this
00:37:35.700 you know
00:37:36.320 right
00:37:36.580 now
00:37:37.020 it
00:37:38.000 may
00:37:38.220 be
00:37:38.400 temporary
00:37:38.940 it
00:37:39.660 may
00:37:39.980 not
00:37:40.320 be
00:37:40.660 but
00:37:41.600 the
00:37:41.740 unvarnished
00:37:42.200 truth
00:37:42.500 is
00:37:42.920 at
00:37:43.400 least
00:37:43.800 at
00:37:44.140 the
00:37:44.360 moment
00:37:44.780 life
00:37:45.260 in
00:37:45.380 the
00:37:45.480 United
00:37:45.720 States
00:37:46.180 yeah
00:37:47.020 it
00:37:47.200 looks
00:37:47.380 a
00:37:47.520 little
00:37:47.660 dicey
00:37:48.380 but
00:37:49.060 are
00:37:49.680 you
00:37:49.900 ready
00:37:50.340 are
00:37:50.760 you
00:37:50.980 prepared
00:37:51.440 have
00:37:51.820 you
00:37:51.960 taken
00:37:52.320 advantage
00:37:52.900 of
00:37:53.900 the
00:37:54.060 things
00:37:54.460 that
00:37:54.680 are
00:37:54.800 going
00:37:55.140 wrong
00:37:55.680 like
00:37:55.980 for
00:37:56.260 instance
00:37:56.560 we've
00:37:56.920 never
00:37:57.320 had
00:37:57.620 interest
00:37:57.980 rates
00:37:58.280 this
00:37:58.560 low
00:37:58.880 why
00:38:00.020 well
00:38:01.060 it's
00:38:01.200 a
00:38:01.380 good
00:38:01.600 thing
00:38:01.860 that
00:38:02.040 you
00:38:02.160 can
00:38:02.380 capitalize
00:38:02.800 on
00:38:03.140 and
00:38:03.260 you
00:38:03.420 can
00:38:03.600 save
00:38:04.060 a
00:38:04.220 ton
00:38:04.360 of
00:38:04.480 money
00:38:04.680 it's
00:38:05.300 a
00:38:05.440 bad
00:38:05.720 thing
00:38:06.040 because
00:38:06.340 they're
00:38:06.720 trying
00:38:07.060 to
00:38:07.260 get
00:38:07.540 you
00:38:07.800 to
00:38:08.200 save
00:38:08.760 or
00:38:08.980 to
00:38:09.200 spend
00:38:09.680 money
00:38:10.040 they're
00:38:10.280 trying
00:38:10.560 to
00:38:10.720 get
00:38:10.900 you
00:38:11.060 to
00:38:11.220 do
00:38:11.440 loans
00:38:11.900 and
00:38:12.760 take
00:38:13.100 out
00:38:13.280 more
00:38:13.460 money
00:38:13.740 than
00:38:13.920 you
00:38:14.060 could
00:38:14.220 possibly
00:38:14.700 handle
00:38:15.080 because
00:38:15.380 the
00:38:15.920 economy
00:38:16.380 is
00:38:17.600 going
00:38:17.880 towards
00:38:18.200 the
00:38:18.420 crapper
00:38:18.880 and
00:38:19.660 they
00:38:19.800 need
00:38:20.200 you
00:38:20.340 to
00:38:20.480 spend
00:38:20.700 money
00:38:20.940 so
00:38:21.180 take
00:38:21.680 advantage
00:38:22.120 of
00:38:22.340 this
00:38:22.500 don't
00:38:22.900 spend
00:38:23.280 more
00:38:23.760 refinance
00:38:25.280 what
00:38:25.520 you
00:38:25.660 already

00:38:26.620 especially

00:38:29.120 please

00:38:58.500 Glenn let me tell you
00:39:03.600 because you've been
00:39:04.380 complaining about your
00:39:04.980 life a little bit
00:39:05.580 and we all
00:39:06.080 have
00:39:06.220 I have
00:39:06.900 too
00:39:07.140 we all
00:39:07.680 have
00:39:07.940 but at least
00:39:08.960 you're not
00:39:09.640 this guy
00:39:10.220 I like
00:39:10.560 stories like
00:39:11.060 that
00:39:11.400 at least
00:39:11.920 you're not
00:39:12.140 this guy
00:39:12.480 we tell you
00:39:13.020 the story
00:39:13.480 let's start
00:39:14.060 looking for
00:39:14.560 those
00:39:14.740 of both
00:39:16.140 the most
00:39:16.780 valuable
00:39:17.260 and least
00:39:18.460 valuable
00:39:18.960 video ever
00:39:19.600 made
00:39:19.840 it's called
00:39:21.660 what is
00:39:22.180 bitcoin
00:39:22.680 parentheses
00:39:23.560 v1
00:39:24.680 and parentheses
00:39:25.560 it was
00:39:26.920 produced
00:39:27.760 in 2011
00:39:28.640 by a
00:39:29.720 programmer
00:39:30.340 named
00:39:30.820 Stefan
00:39:31.460 Thomas
00:39:32.000 and for
00:39:33.760 doing it
00:39:34.120 he was a
00:39:34.420 contest
00:39:34.840 to basically
00:39:35.340 like
00:39:35.680 make something
00:39:36.420 so people
00:39:36.820 understand it
00:39:37.380 right
00:39:37.500 right
00:39:37.780 right
00:39:37.840 right
00:39:38.080 for that
00:39:38.520 he was
00:39:38.800 awarded
00:39:39.100 7,002
00:39:41.100 oh my gosh
00:39:41.840 no no
00:39:42.680 don't tell me
00:39:43.160 don't tell me
00:39:43.700 I don't want to know this
00:39:44.840 this would make it
00:39:45.620 this would make it the most
00:39:46.000 valuable video
00:39:46.840 probably ever made
00:39:47.660 right now
00:39:48.620 233 million dollars
00:39:50.780 are the value
00:39:51.300 for this one
00:39:51.920 two minute video
00:39:52.860 that's on youtube
00:39:53.400 to this day
00:39:53.960 however
00:39:55.720 he put them
00:39:57.500 in a vault
00:39:58.440 a bitcoin wallet
00:39:59.960 called
00:40:00.360 iron key
00:40:01.020 if you forget
00:40:02.620 your passcode
00:40:03.480 you have 10
00:40:04.500 guesses
00:40:05.000 to figure it out
00:40:06.520 he has missed
00:40:07.900 now
00:40:08.200 8 times
00:40:09.280 he can't remember it
00:40:10.840 he lost
00:40:11.440 the passcode
00:40:12.060 233 million dollars
00:40:14.760 he has two more
00:40:15.500 guesses
00:40:15.780 or they're lost
00:40:16.480 forever
00:40:16.900 so today
00:40:18.640 just take that
00:40:19.400 story
00:40:19.780 and realize
00:40:20.520 you're not that
00:40:21.420 guy
00:40:21.680 you're not that
00:40:23.020 guy
00:40:23.120 no matter how
00:40:23.720 much the world
00:40:24.440 sucks
00:40:24.780 you're not
00:40:25.920 that guy
00:40:27.160 uh
00:40:29.460 all right
00:40:29.760 let me tell you
00:40:30.200 about
00:40:30.400 built bar
00:40:31.260 uh
00:40:32.060 i'm two pounds
00:40:32.900 down
00:40:33.260 i've only got
00:40:34.240 48 pounds
00:40:35.100 to go
00:40:35.580 nice
00:40:35.940 congratulations
00:40:36.400 yeah
00:40:36.720 thank you
00:40:37.060 i think it's
00:40:37.560 time for a
00:40:38.040 little diet
00:40:38.400 vacation
00:40:38.840 you know
00:40:39.820 what
00:40:40.080 i thought
00:40:40.580 a time
00:40:40.980 for a little
00:40:41.400 reward
00:40:41.920 don't overdo
00:40:42.820 it
00:40:42.940 that's a big
00:40:43.600 lesson
00:40:43.900 and uh
00:40:44.760 but here's
00:40:45.240 the thing
00:40:45.640 my little
00:40:46.120 reward now
00:40:46.920 is built
00:40:48.000 bar
00:40:48.220 it is
00:40:49.140 so good
00:40:50.220 uh
00:40:51.300 it has
00:40:51.720 gelatin
00:40:52.120 in it
00:40:52.460 so you
00:40:52.780 can't
00:40:53.120 eat it
00:40:53.400 yeah
00:40:53.660 well
00:40:53.880 you know
00:40:54.280 me and my
00:40:54.700 weird
00:40:54.920 vegetarian
00:40:55.460 habits
00:40:56.060 oh you're
00:40:56.600 not a
00:40:56.880 vegan
00:40:57.160 just a
00:40:57.680 vegetarian
00:40:58.080 yeah
00:40:58.320 uh
00:40:59.140 all right
00:40:59.480 so i know
00:40:59.920 my wife eats 0.97
00:41:00.440 them every
00:41:01.280 literally
00:41:01.700 every single
00:41:02.200 my wife
00:41:02.640 loves them
00:41:03.440 loves them
00:41:03.960 i do too
00:41:04.600 they're made
00:41:05.360 with real
00:41:06.040 chocolate
00:41:06.420 i i i don't
00:41:07.860 know how
00:41:08.180 everybody else
00:41:08.720 is missing
00:41:09.080 that
00:41:09.340 how how
00:41:10.220 can they
00:41:10.540 make these
00:41:11.000 you know
00:41:11.680 low calorie
00:41:12.400 high fiber
00:41:13.700 uh
00:41:14.580 high protein
00:41:15.600 low sugar
00:41:16.980 how how is
00:41:18.300 this how is
00:41:19.700 something good
00:41:20.360 on a keto
00:41:21.000 diet that
00:41:21.820 tastes good
00:41:22.440 and doesn't
00:41:23.560 taste like a
00:41:24.060 single chemical
00:41:24.820 i don't know
00:41:25.220 how they do
00:41:25.680 this better
00:41:26.060 than everyone
00:41:26.440 else
00:41:26.640 i don't
00:41:26.840 either
00:41:27.020 they do
00:41:27.680 way better

00:42:19.700 glenn back
00:42:20.300 program
00:42:20.900 i got up
00:42:23.600 this morning
00:42:24.340 ready to face
00:42:25.500 anything from
00:42:26.780 the press
00:42:27.300 and then i
00:42:29.740 read this
00:42:30.600 colin powell
00:42:32.780 quote i can
00:42:35.440 no longer call
00:42:36.340 myself a
00:42:37.220 republican
00:42:37.720 and i thought
00:42:39.400 to myself
00:42:40.100 what is
00:42:41.560 this
00:42:42.040 we've lost
00:42:42.820 colin powell
00:42:43.960 news from
00:42:45.180 2004
00:42:46.540 wow that
00:42:52.640 came as a
00:42:53.180 complete shock
00:42:54.460 to me
00:42:54.960 all right
00:42:56.660 can i talk to
00:42:57.440 you a little bit
00:42:57.840 about rough
00:42:58.240 greens
00:42:58.600 louise lives
00:42:59.480 in tennessee
00:43:00.020 with a minister
00:43:00.780 miniature australian
00:43:02.320 shepherd and
00:43:03.560 let me tell you
00:43:04.200 that dog she 0.97
00:43:05.680 says had a
00:43:06.500 problem she 1.00
00:43:07.540 was overweight
00:43:08.360 had horrible
00:43:09.500 breath to the
00:43:10.260 point that
00:43:10.700 louise kids
00:43:11.360 would come
00:43:11.800 home for the
00:43:12.220 weekend and
00:43:12.660 complain about
00:43:13.340 it so louise
00:43:14.640 put her on
00:43:15.180 weight control
00:43:15.820 dog food
00:43:16.540 that sounds
00:43:17.700 even worse
00:43:18.560 she decided
00:43:19.940 to try to
00:43:20.560 put rough
00:43:21.600 greens on it
00:43:22.300 to make it
00:43:22.780 taste better
00:43:23.440 because her
00:43:24.340 dog did not
00:43:25.720 want to eat
00:43:26.180 it well after
00:43:27.900 only having
00:43:28.960 gone through
00:43:29.500 the jump
00:43:29.920 start bag
00:43:30.640 louise and
00:43:31.680 her kids
00:43:32.020 started noticing
00:43:32.660 something the
00:43:33.680 dog was getting
00:43:34.360 healthier losing
00:43:35.360 a little bit of

00:46:55.320 like you know the straw
00:46:57.760 that's breaking the
00:46:58.580 camel's back I mean is it 1.00
00:47:00.720 I mean which thing uh I
00:47:05.480 don't know everything
00:47:06.360 outside of your private

00:47:33.600 just I think I'm the dumbest
00:47:35.220 man in America I really do at
00:47:37.080 times I'm just stop shaking
00:47:38.840 your head like that Stu no I 0.61
00:47:40.240 just you're making a lot of
00:47:41.380 sense you're telling the truth I
00:47:42.520 want to give you credit with
00:47:43.420 with everything that's
00:47:44.660 happening in the world six
00:47:45.660 months ago we decided my
00:47:47.960 wife and I were like you 0.76
00:47:48.940 know what I don't think that
00:47:50.000 there's enough stress in our
00:47:51.140 life and you know with
00:47:52.640 everybody at home what we
00:47:54.920 should do is remodel the
00:47:57.080 kitchen what the what the
00:48:00.060 hell what I don't know what
00:48:02.840 was in me and I'm like that's a
00:48:04.100 good idea we should do that and
00:48:06.640 mainly I think because we you
00:48:08.520 know the garage and everything
00:48:09.780 else we cleaned up you know
00:48:12.080 what I mean we went into the
00:48:13.320 barn and we cleaned it up and
00:48:14.940 organized that's a whole
00:48:16.380 different thing than hey let's
00:48:18.620 remodel the kitchen which led
00:48:21.280 to uh us tearing out a wall in
00:48:23.940 the living room because I mean my
00:48:26.340 wife is like we got to get rid of 1.00
00:48:27.580 this wall she's been saying that
00:48:28.980 forever I hate this wall it
00:48:30.320 separates from the kitchen in the
00:48:31.820 living room and I'm like okay and
00:48:33.620 so we we were remodeling the
00:48:35.620 kitchen and she said that again 1.00
00:48:37.880 I'm like honey we're not going to
00:48:38.920 go this far and then have you
00:48:40.800 not we're let's just take down
00:48:42.500 this wall to just be this wall
00:48:44.140 which led to wow the floors
00:48:49.520 don't match and so now uh what
00:48:52.500 are we gonna do we gonna put the
00:48:53.280 wall back or are we going to well
00:48:55.760 let's just let's just redo the
00:48:58.360 floors okay so we redo the floor
00:49:00.500 well the problem is we took the
00:49:02.460 trim off of and it's all wood so
00:49:05.700 we took the trim off of uh you
00:49:08.080 you know the the floorboards
00:49:09.460 which led to us saying okay now
00:49:12.240 we have to paint the trim okay so
00:49:14.560 now we have to paint the trim over
00:49:15.920 the whole house which led us to go
00:49:17.700 well now the cabinets don't match so
00:49:19.280 we have to paint the cabinets which
00:49:21.260 is not just the cabinets in the
00:49:22.480 kitchen now it's the cabinets in the
00:49:23.980 bathrooms it's the cabinets in the
00:49:26.000 laundry room at which since we're
00:49:28.780 already there said she honey this 0.76
00:49:32.500 floor in the laundry room is
00:49:33.920 complete look at the tile it's
00:49:35.360 completely outdated oh okay well i
00:49:39.620 guess while we're here we'll just
00:49:40.920 redo the floor in the laundry room
00:49:44.460 well we can't just do it here
00:49:46.740 because it's the same tile upstairs and
00:49:49.700 so we can't have the outdated tile
00:49:52.180 upstairs i mean if you're looking to
00:49:54.360 buy a house and you go upstairs and
00:49:56.080 it's outdated upstairs and it's
00:49:57.500 different downstairs i mean you just
00:49:59.620 can't do that so now our upstairs is
00:50:02.740 completely torn apart because as
00:50:06.800 you're taking out the tile in the
00:50:08.060 bathroom well you might as well
00:50:09.620 paint the bathrooms and well let's
00:50:12.260 let's take the wallpaper off the kids
00:50:14.180 rooms and let's paint that because
00:50:15.720 that's really out of so the kids have
00:50:18.220 no place to sleep but here's the extra
00:50:20.580 special part i have always said to
00:50:22.960 myself self if you could get like some
00:50:26.960 of those you know big container you
00:50:30.060 know those shipping containers and you
00:50:32.660 could put not one not two but maybe
00:50:34.900 three of them right there in your front
00:50:38.140 yard you know next to the port-a-potty
00:50:41.540 you'd have quite a life you'd have quite
00:50:46.660 a life so we have those and but that
00:50:49.760 wasn't enough for us we decided to put
00:50:51.680 the washer and dryer on the porch like
00:50:55.020 any good hillbilly would do so we have
00:50:58.020 the washer and dryer on the porch
00:50:59.680 because well we didn't have any room in
00:51:01.760 there and the kitchen doesn't have the
00:51:04.380 refrigerator sure i could have put those
00:51:06.760 you know the refrigerator freezer on the
00:51:08.800 front porch too but i think it would
00:51:11.440 have it would have not been as classy as
00:51:14.480 my neighborhood demands so we just put
00:51:17.180 our refrigerator in the living room which
00:51:21.120 has all the floors uh torn out and
00:51:23.440 because they tore out the floors they did
00:51:25.500 damage to the fireplace and so now we have
00:51:27.900 to replace the fireplace as well and i was
00:51:31.880 going to bed last night i think well at
00:51:34.520 least you know at least i have my bedroom
00:51:37.280 and then i opened the door and i realized
00:51:39.380 no i don't actually everything everything
00:51:42.600 from the house that didn't fit into the
00:51:44.520 storage containers that are just outside
00:51:46.500 next to the port-a-potty is all stacked up
00:51:49.340 like i'm some sort of uh hoarder which i am i
00:51:53.300 admit and i only have a path from the door
00:51:56.040 of my living room to the bed and to the
00:51:59.220 bathroom uh well it has a little bit it's
00:52:02.240 about a two foot space a walkway uh that i
00:52:06.420 can go through and it also goes to where my
00:52:09.280 children are sleeping on the floor in our
00:52:11.500 bedroom so i think it's good and i curse
00:52:14.580 anyone who said hey i can't wait for 2020
00:52:18.160 to be over because 2021 is a new year
00:52:21.240 curse you curse you in the first two weeks 0.98
00:52:25.540 of 2021 we lost the congress the senate the
00:52:28.140 white house social media i don't know
00:52:30.720 freedom lost all of that it's just the
00:52:35.360 second week of this new year but here's the
00:52:39.960 good news oh i can't think of any oh wait
00:52:43.180 wait wait at least the kids are back in
00:52:47.420 school oh no wait they're not isn't that
00:52:52.580 fantastic well at least you have your
00:52:54.820 health no no no nope i'm fat i'm out of
00:52:58.840 shape i'm now eating salads because my
00:53:01.760 family is like you're gonna die on us dad 0.83
00:53:04.000 so have a salad so i'm now eating salads
00:53:07.020 and green stuff i don't like but i'm i'm
00:53:11.980 feeling well i would say much better but
00:53:13.880 i'm not because i'm winded because i still
00:53:17.980 can't shake my bout with covid that i got on
00:53:23.480 christmas eve
00:53:24.700 so if anyone says hey tomorrow is a new
00:53:30.060 day
00:53:30.480 shut up shut the pie hole i don't want to 1.00
00:53:36.520 hear it
00:53:37.000 i'm about to climb up in a tower i am you
00:53:41.180 wait have you talked about the covid thing
00:53:42.860 at all you got it no because we got back
00:53:45.580 and every the world is on fire
00:53:47.300 i mean no i haven't yeah you had it uh
00:53:52.500 over and i had a bad bout of it too really i
00:53:55.040 mean if you're gonna get it i mean really
00:53:57.460 get you want to get it like the way i got
00:53:58.860 it which was asymptomatic baby yeah yeah and
00:54:01.960 my family had it and it was no big deal so
00:54:04.000 when i got it i'm like it was a little
00:54:05.700 sick right but it wasn't she was sick for
00:54:07.440 about three days four days
00:54:10.060 and out but you know i was like honey there
00:54:14.540 is laundry and dishes piling up this is
00:54:17.640 helpful you've got to get better i just
00:54:20.280 thought i'd give that to facebook and
00:54:21.700 twitter and everybody well i think you'd do
00:54:23.160 it because now your wife will be serving 1.00
00:54:25.540 you like steak we wrapped in bacon
00:54:27.640 wrapped in more yes yeah yes kill them
00:54:30.940 off you son of a here's a bacon wrapped
00:54:34.020 filet oh honey now stop the punishment
00:54:36.720 uh but yeah i had covid and it really
00:54:40.640 pounded me really pounded me i'm fat and
00:54:43.540 over you know and out of shape i hadn't
00:54:45.740 noticed but really that is so much now
00:54:48.940 now that you've mentioned it you do look
00:54:51.640 like a macy's balloon uh so yeah you throw
00:54:56.500 some rope around my hands and my feet and
00:54:58.780 i look exactly like i could go to the
00:55:01.280 parade and float above the entire crowd
00:55:03.840 um but i i uh it it's it was weird
00:55:08.960 because it started and the kids were in
00:55:11.560 the kitchen and they were cooking and
00:55:13.200 because we were up in the mountains when
00:55:16.480 you cook in the mountains everything
00:55:18.120 burns we cannot figure out how to cook
00:55:20.620 things in the mountains everything burns
00:55:22.760 and so they were in the kitchen and i
00:55:24.800 thought they were making stuff for
00:55:25.800 christmas and i said something is as
00:55:28.520 something's burning because i had a real
00:55:30.420 uh like like it was breathing in acidic
00:55:33.580 smoke and i just started coughing i mean
00:55:36.540 like out of nowhere i had nothing and then
00:55:39.780 all of a sudden i'm like
00:55:40.380 and i could not control it and i'm saying
00:55:47.160 kids something's burning in the house and
00:55:48.980 they're like dad the ovens and the stove
00:55:52.200 aren't even on and uh it was horrible i had no
00:55:57.660 other symptoms except that then the other
00:56:00.880 symptoms started and i think i got it from
00:56:04.080 nicole arbor oh right because she announced
00:56:07.340 on twitter that she got it she got it right
00:56:09.260 after she was here yeah she's the first
00:56:11.760 interview i do live and i get coveted from
00:56:16.720 so apparently you deserve it yeah i know so it
00:56:21.440 lasted for at least a week uh and really pounded i
00:56:27.540 mean just could not just had no energy winded
00:56:32.600 walking from one you know yeah one side of the
00:56:35.940 kitchen to the other you know barely able to put
00:56:38.780 you know hold up my pudding as i was eating it
00:56:41.580 and uh and so i i mean it was really pounded
00:56:46.180 and i still am i still to this day to this
00:56:49.180 day i still don't feel right now it might be
00:56:52.320 that we're breathing in you know uh parts of the
00:56:56.960 fireplace toxic dust around your house yeah
00:57:00.060 yeah i mean it might be that we're living
00:57:01.900 amongst the asbestos i'm not sure uh but i still
00:57:05.720 can't fully get it back like what do you when
00:57:08.820 you say fully can get it back you can't get
00:57:10.180 your i can't your wind i still can't breathe
00:57:13.840 really deeply uh or it hurts
00:57:18.200 and yeah i have a little bit of a wheeze
00:57:21.940 at the at the the deep breathing uh i i just
00:57:27.380 don't feel right i just don't feel right
00:57:29.880 it's weird yeah yeah i have relatives that went
00:57:32.280 through uh they got coveted and that was it was
00:57:35.400 similar i mean a little worse than you even
00:57:37.180 because they're a little older but and not so
00:57:39.720 fat or fatter not as fat not as older um and uh no
00:57:43.880 but they same thing like um over a month of not
00:57:47.680 being able to walk from one side of the room or to
00:57:50.320 the other without basically wanting to collapse and
00:57:52.780 fall asleep for three hours yeah i mean it's it it's
00:57:56.140 weird i mean we you know our own keith malinac who
00:57:58.280 works here yeah got it what early 30 yeah uh yeah he's a
00:58:02.520 little 35 yeah he's yeah a little older than that and healthy and
00:58:05.840 generally speaking health he's how old is it would you say
00:58:08.120 sarah 40 45 45 45 45 no no i think he's a little
00:58:14.200 younger than i am is he 42 okay wow younger than i am and
00:58:18.320 he uh he got it i think late november early
00:58:21.620 december dude still doesn't have his voice back
00:58:24.420 still yeah yeah he lost his voice in the middle of this and
00:58:27.640 was sick he was out he missed the entire month of 0.88
00:58:29.920 december i think for on the pat on pat grand leashed now you're
00:58:33.020 just showing off yeah on pat grand leashed miss the entire 0.55
00:58:35.740 month of december came back in january still can't still has no
00:58:39.700 voice i mean you know he can't talk yeah and you know this is a
00:58:44.420 problem when you're on a radio show and a television show i will
00:58:47.300 tell you that i went through it and i said
00:58:49.200 this is why this kills 80 year olds because you if you come into it weak
00:58:55.480 it's really bad toast you're toast if you can't if you don't have the stamina
00:59:01.220 if you don't have the energy if you don't have the wind power going into it
00:59:04.620 it's not it's not good and not pleasant and this is why it's killing 80 year olds 0.98
00:59:10.340 and probably why it's not killing people who are 20 because you still have you
00:59:16.460 still have all of that you know yeah very recovery
00:59:19.260 on this it has been not for the rest of my family but for me the recovery on
00:59:25.820 this has been astoundingly bad
00:59:28.100 so that's amazing it really is so weird how it affects different people
00:59:34.880 uh fauci has come out and said even if you're not in the same room if you're
00:59:38.460 listening to somebody and they cough you can get it even
00:59:42.400 through the radio right even through the radio yeah so hey who knows get tested
00:59:45.920 yeah you're all exposed now all right let me tell you about amac we live in a
00:59:51.920 country that has lost its way lost all respect for logic law and order basic
00:59:56.100 decency knowing who you can count on is a very valuable commodity so let me tell
01:00:03.020 you about one group that i think you can definitely count on i've watched them for
01:00:06.520 years i'm a member it's amac the association of mature american citizens it's a
01:00:11.660 group that now over two million members uh strong is growing amac believes in the
01:00:18.000 values that constitutional conservatives care about
01:00:20.740 they represent courage faith reason in trying times they stand for the solvency

01:00:32.020 believe in the sanctity of life with a full-time presence in washington amac has
01:00:37.040 been pushing back against the radical left socialist agenda they were started back in
01:00:42.040 i don't know oh eight or no nine and the membership comes with a wealth of benefits
01:00:46.980 but the the fight is where it's happening and they're really well equipped to do it and
01:00:53.020 there is strength in numbers if you're going to you want to make a difference and
01:00:58.120 you're going to join a group join amac they fight the good fight become a member
01:01:03.700 today the benefits are great the cause is greater it's amac.us slash beck that's amac.us
01:01:12.320 slash beck 10 seconds station id
01:01:15.240 well
01:01:27.080 let me just say this first don't cry for me argentina uh vice president elect kamala harris
01:01:38.000 is waging the first public battle of her tenure uh and this is please pull over you're going to be 0.93
01:01:47.080 so sad uh that you might want to pull over because i don't want you driving with tears in your eyes
01:01:51.940 can you pull over for a second sounds sad yeah yeah put your blinker on put your blinker on i
01:01:57.980 don't know no i don't need blinkers i'm an american get out of my way according to the new york times
01:02:02.480 harris and her team now at odds with the high fashion magazine vogue and the editorial team
01:02:10.100 over their decision to select a casual photo of the vice president elect for their magazine cover
01:02:15.580 instead of the more formal photo that they feel cast harris in a better more professional light
01:02:21.560 february's issue features ms harris in a dark jacket by donald deal of course skinny pants 0.99
01:02:28.480 converse and her trademark pearls she stands against the leaf background uh bisected by a spill of pink 0.88
01:02:36.160 curtain colors meant to invoke her howard university sorority and she's caught in what seems like a
01:02:42.160 mid laugh and her hands are clasped together at her waist and uh they don't like it they say that
01:02:48.020 it's disrespectful now i just want to point out kamala uh i've been on the cover of time magazine and
01:02:57.300 i didn't even know they were going to put my face on there in fact they used a photographer
01:03:03.020 who openly said i want to destroy him so it's you know and you could count your lucky stars look at
01:03:10.400 the bright side kamala at least they're not well they're not treating you like they treated uh 0.67
01:03:16.600 melania on any of the fashion magazine at least you're on a cover of a fashion magazine this is
01:03:23.840 the glenbeck program american financing nmls 182334 www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org
01:03:32.140 sincerely i don't know how they do it i don't know how she's still standing today
01:03:37.180 american financing time keeps marching on doesn't it it'd be nice if i could tell you hey 2020
01:03:44.900 2021 we're all going to get a five minute breather um but we're not going to get a break from this
01:03:51.120 madness it's not how it works but we are equipped to deal with times like this we were all born at
01:03:57.780 this time for a reason we just have to do the things that are smart do the things that are right
01:04:03.420 for our own family i want you to sharpen your financial game plan if you're fiscally responsible

01:04:20.260 than is required lower your mortgage rate take your credit cards high interest and roll them into
01:04:28.360 your mortgage without resetting it you could save hundreds if not a thousand dollars every month
01:04:33.040 call american financing 800-906-2440 american financing.net the purge of conservative voices
01:04:40.700 is on underway really right now go to blaze tv.com slash glenn promo code glenn save 30 bucks off your
01:04:47.620 subscription to blaze tv this is the glenbeck program we're glad you're here uh bitcoin why that's
01:04:57.060 weird something this is something that the average person is not talking about but then again
01:05:01.160 your marriage could be on fire along with your car and your house and with everything that's going on
01:05:06.780 in the world you might not even have time to talk about your house and your car on fire uh so uh
01:05:13.300 people have been watching it we've been watching it it's actually what uh tika tiwari talked about
01:05:19.220 what like three years ago two years ago i remember that yeah and he was on he said it's going to go up to
01:05:24.220 50 grand it's going to move quickly and i said i believe you but the timing you should probably not
01:05:32.180 say real fast because i'm always wrong with timing well it turns out that he's right and there's a
01:05:37.780 reason why bitcoin uh didn't go up and we wanted to bring tika uh on with us welcome to the program
01:05:45.280 tika how are you i'm doing great glenn it's great to be back thanks for having me so i wanted to talk to
01:05:51.400 you about now that it has broken can you explain the the bubble that the trump administration
01:05:59.760 popped if you will in in 2017 yeah let me first say that you did warn me when we were on air you
01:06:07.640 said i said bitcoin will be forty thousand dollars and you said are you sure you want to say that are
01:06:12.820 you really sure you want to say that and you know something i prided myself on glenn is that if i
01:06:18.300 believe something i'm not going to hide i know i'm going to say it and and and everything told me
01:06:23.360 that it was going to go there and when it didn't go there i was shocked i said you know i had to look
01:06:29.240 in the mirror and say did i just get this wrong and fortunately i i stayed the path and here we are
01:06:35.560 you know 33 000 we've been at 40 above 40 so it came to light that giancarlo who was the former head
01:06:42.920 of the cftc came out christopher giancarlo who came out and said one of the untold stories in the
01:06:48.700 past few years is that the cftc the treasury the sec and national economic council director at the time
01:06:54.980 gary cohen believed that the launch of bitcoin futures would have the impact of popping the bitcoin
01:07:01.820 bubble and it worked so you had some of the most important levers of government policy at work
01:07:08.780 trying to push down bitcoin and that's why we didn't go to 40k plan and it finally dawned on me
01:07:17.140 like oh okay so this is what i was up against well i know this to be true with gold in the 1980s
01:07:23.860 they suppressed gold with tips and everything else they found ways to suppress the price of gold
01:07:29.680 because gold was an indicator of how solid is our economy and the dollar and so they have suppressed
01:07:37.820 gold should be a probably three to five thousand dollars an ounce if you had the restrictions on
01:07:43.440 it uh the fewer restrictions on it that we had in the 1980s um the concern here is i mean it was up to
01:07:51.720 what 42 last week 42 yeah it's down to 33 by the way i took your advice i bought more and i'm thrilled
01:08:01.580 that i did um but uh the the the scary thing is is again they're starting to it's coming down i don't
01:08:12.320 know why do you know why it's coming down yeah i mean bitcoin's got up 380 over the last year it
01:08:20.020 needed to take a breather i mean if you look at stocks like amazon apple google when they were in
01:08:25.280 their early growth phases they would go through processes like this even tesla where it would be
01:08:30.440 and then they'd knock it down and and and you'd get this exchange from weak hands to strong hands
01:08:35.480 and then it would move up again i'm actually very happy glenn to see bitcoin take a breather here
01:08:40.760 because parabolic strength moves up don't have to crash and so so they crash so this is great i would
01:08:47.240 love to see even bitcoin coming a little bit more trade sideways for a few months have people tell me
01:08:52.740 i'm an idiot for buying it would love to see that you know right now i'm the most popular guy at the
01:08:57.400 party i never like that um so i would love to see more skepticism grow uh around i agree i i would
01:09:05.400 like to see it at 25 uh quite honestly because i think that's really healthy and then take another
01:09:11.000 spurt towards it um is is this is being called digital gold now that a new generation looks at this
01:09:20.180 is digital gold this is not what we saw the first time that it hit 20 000 when everybody was like i'm
01:09:27.040 mortgaging my house and buying bitcoin this is not happening at the low level investor and by the way
01:09:34.140 you can still buy bitcoin even if you have a hundred dollars you just don't buy one you buy a fraction of
01:09:39.260 one um and uh but that's not what's happening here this is actually big investors right we're seeing the
01:09:48.140 institutionalization of bitcoin and if you remember in 2018 i was on your show and i begged everyone i
01:09:53.980 said don't believe these institutions remember jamie diamond called bitcoin a ponzi scheme yes
01:09:59.420 setting fire anybody that was trading it correct guess what they just put out research saying that
01:10:04.100 bitcoin's worth a hundred and forty six thousand dollars and i called that in 2018 i said once these
01:10:09.840 guys have the regulatory framework in place they're going to come out and they are going to put their
01:10:14.440 marketing machine behind bitcoin city group which three years ago said that bitcoin was worthless just
01:10:20.880 came out and said that bitcoin's going to go to 300k city group claim city group so everything we talked
01:10:28.220 about in 2018 is starting to happen i wish it happened faster of course we always wish these things happened
01:10:34.420 faster but i would say anybody listening today is don't focus on the day-to-day focus on the trajectory of
01:10:41.180 this asset and focus on the people that are buying it now and the people that are buying it now people
01:10:45.960 like mass mutual that has 230 billion dollars under management 169 year old insurance company
01:10:52.100 companies like michael sayler has put a billion dollars into this through his public entity
01:10:57.120 um uh the major banks that have now been given clearance to both custody trade and create products
01:11:05.020 around crypto which they could never do before so now that they figured out a way to make money from it
01:11:10.660 glenn guess what they're going to write reports about it they're going to get their clients into it
01:11:15.100 and and you will see again i'm not going to paint myself in a corner like i did last time but but i
01:11:21.920 think we will see 60 000 bitcoin far faster than most people imagine and and at some point here i'm not
01:11:28.920 saying it's going to happen this year but we'll see a hundred thousand dollar bitcoin at the end of the
01:11:33.800 day there is no other asset that can hedge you the way that bitcoin can sure gold can to a certain
01:11:41.000 extent but gold's already a 10 trillion dollar market right you're not going to see gold go up 10 or 12
01:11:47.380 or 15 or even 8x anytime soon yeah and as you said gold's a political metal it's it's really uh
01:11:54.240 depressed by government overt government policies bitcoin still has a great deal of freedom because it is
01:12:01.280 decentralized it's much newer it's much smaller and we've seen that no matter how many shots you take
01:12:07.300 at bitcoin it keeps coming back the other thing i would say is if people keep calling bitcoin a bubble
01:12:14.040 how many bubbles going do you know that are 10 years old are worth a half a trillion dollars or more
01:12:19.620 and keep making new highs at what point do we say okay this isn't a bubble this is this is a new asset
01:12:25.660 so it sure goes through booms and busts but it it's not it's it's it's not a bubble asset i do believe
01:12:33.200 this is the cotton gin the internet this is going to change the financial world and it is one of those
01:12:42.060 things that you the average person could invest in right now and at this point it still could be game
01:12:49.660 changing for your family game changing and especially when the dollar begins to really lose
01:12:56.380 value people are going to be looking for something of other value and that's gold silver bitcoin land
01:13:03.600 uh i mean it's it's hard assets like this everybody listening today whether you buy bitcoin or not
01:13:12.080 i would tell you do you want to own an asset cash that got diluted by 23 last year it's okay to
01:13:20.280 dilute an asset if you've got offsetting growth but we don't have offsetting growth 23 more dollars
01:13:27.700 were printed last year and the economy went down like that that's a recipe for a destruction of buying
01:13:35.040 power you owe it to your family to protect your buying power maybe you'll do it in land maybe you'll do
01:13:41.340 it in some type of equipment i'm doing it in bitcoin that that's my choice tika one of the
01:13:47.820 and there's trillions of dollars more to be printed here in the coming uh biden administration trillions
01:13:52.540 um tika one of the things i think is interesting to me and also i think the audience when it comes
01:13:57.240 to bitcoin is the idea that this it's a currency that can't be printed forever there's only going to
01:14:02.780 be what 21 million of them of all of all time and then there's nowhere to go but the value to be up
01:14:08.300 there's scarcity there um in addition to that though there are reports that up to 20 percent
01:14:13.220 of the existing bitcoin are lost and will never be recovered you think it's more than that it's at
01:14:19.600 least six it's at least six or seven million bitcoins are gone forever oh my god never have
01:14:24.440 so that means there's maybe 11 million in the active float right now that's it there's 35 million
01:14:30.280 there's in the world and if every one of them want to own a bitcoin they can't think about that
01:14:35.840 they can't wow that's amazing i mean you just think as this goes on there was only a few more
01:14:43.460 million bitcoin to go and many many are lost many more could be lost the scarcity is really something
01:14:49.860 that it almost seems like inertia is going to push this thing higher no matter what happens
01:14:55.700 when i when i have been the truth look at 2009 to now look at it oh you didn't have to be a genius
01:15:03.100 you just bought and you hold and didn't worry about the 80 percent drops shut up shut up when i i figured
01:15:09.600 this out the other day when when mark andreessen i sat with a private meeting with mark andreessen
01:15:14.920 and he told me this story makes me sick oh yeah he told me you gotta buy bitcoin it was under a dollar
01:15:22.220 at the time oh when i heard it again wow it was 32 i did the math if i would have taken the small
01:15:31.800 investment that i made uh you know three years ago four years ago whenever it would have been worth
01:15:38.340 250 million dollars today oh my gosh 200 you think i'd be here i'd be gone
01:15:48.500 gone and i think you'd still be there yeah i know uh but i'd be happier uh the uh the thing is is that
01:15:58.680 uh i don't think this is is any different than that and people will see it's 33 000 a bitcoin you
01:16:08.000 don't have to buy a bitcoin you can buy a little bit of one slice uh and it's it's uh well worth it i
01:16:15.200 think i think um one last question i see the stock i could be wrong but i think the stock market after
01:16:22.580 the inauguration uh will have a correction as well and possibly a big correction um and it doesn't
01:16:30.700 mean i i don't want to get into the timing because i'm always wrong but i it's coming uh and that's
01:16:36.240 usually when a big correction comes people who have a lot of money and buy on margins have to sell their
01:16:42.260 gold have to sell their assets and they dump them so should we be looking for another big dip
01:16:48.800 in bitcoin uh if the stock market comes down i am i am praying for one i don't know if my karma is

01:21:00.820 back in 2018 uh one of the world's leading scholars and a man who is in rarefied air at least in
01:21:16.180 in my book uh as a historian edwin black said this this is 2018 today i come not just to mourn or
01:21:26.720 scorn but rather warn our world this world of today's whose memories are still whistling and
01:21:33.060 bristling with the torments and tribulations of a generation now passing before our eyes
01:21:38.280 but also for the world of tomorrow and the day after pulsed by a generation whose torments and
01:21:45.200 tribulations may yet be in store the outrages are audible and just over the horizon but in many cases
01:21:53.240 the horizon is speeding towards us like an unstoppable tsunami preparing to crash what he
01:22:00.900 spoke to me about a few years ago is happening today and he knew it was coming because he's a student
01:22:11.200 of the past you really need to hear this interview as i reintroduce you for long-term listeners
01:22:20.240 to mr edwin black a very brave historian who has fought all the battles already edwin black joins us
01:22:29.880 in 60 seconds the glenn beck program timeshare termination team is they're the people that
01:22:39.680 are going to help you i mean you know if you purchase a timeshare in the past expecting vacation

01:22:53.300 it's lovely but anyway what happened is you we didn't learn beforehand about timeshares and if you
01:23:00.380 didn't know about them you know you're doomed to buy into them and the cycle of maintenance fees and
01:23:06.320 all the other associated hassles that just keep going and never end people often tell you there's no way
01:23:12.560 out and there's very few ways out um unless you have the best team who really knows the law and can

01:23:50.260 the author of ibm and the holocaust which is a must read a book that you should have in your library in
01:24:12.400 paper in paper also war against the weak which is the definitive book uh on eugenics his name is edwin
01:24:25.500 black uh and i welcome him again to the show hi edwin how are you sir good morning glum how are you i'm
01:24:32.740 very good thank you as i always say at the beginning every time i talk to you thank you for all of the
01:24:38.840 work that you have done thank you for not forgetting uh and indeed looking at the parallels
01:24:47.600 to root things out before things go awry again thank you um when when we spoke a few years ago
01:24:57.160 we were talking about i was very concerned about depersonizing uh deep person the depersoning people
01:25:04.720 i don't even know if there was a term for it at the time and you said yeah it's digital ghettoization
01:25:10.300 and that always stuck with me because that's exactly what it should be called and it's exactly
01:25:17.440 what's happening today and you warned about it can you tell me what that means and why you saw that
01:25:25.400 coming well the problem has grown even graver since you and i spoke i was sitting in i was standing
01:25:34.700 in the rotunda of the michigan state capitol with the governor on a holocaust day ceremony when i
01:25:43.720 coined the phrase the algorithm ghetto and the and the algorithm ghetto says that we will now be in a
01:25:53.400 position where we can scream from the rooftops and no one will hear us be because our means of
01:26:03.120 connectivity has been disconnected by the facebooks by the twitters by the instagrams and all of these
01:26:10.980 groups and now we have seen this has suddenly come into play not within a matter of weeks or months but
01:26:21.040 almost overnight the crush of censorship that is coming upon people not only will they be um uh shadow
01:26:30.980 banned not only will they um uh not be able to hurt from their heard when screaming from their rooftop
01:26:38.800 the rooftop has now been taken away this is a dire matter it's been years in coming everyone has seen it
01:26:51.720 coming some have not quantified it like i have and and and and and and like you have but it is going to
01:26:59.840 intensify every week until we will be in a brave new world that no one wants to visit the next step
01:27:11.700 after amazon has figured out it could turn off your servers the next step is for the two companies
01:27:20.280 that make the phones apple and google the android to cut off your phone service i don't know if that's
01:27:31.140 coming next week next month or next year but once amazon has figured out that they can turn off your
01:27:38.620 servers and maybe they'll turn off yours one day soon and maybe they'll turn off mine we are marching
01:27:45.200 down the long dark road i looked up some history the other day as i was looking at the silencing of
01:27:54.000 voices when hitler took power in 1933 the nazis controlled less than three percent of the 4700
01:28:00.400 newspapers during the first few weeks of 1933 the nazi regime deployed the radio press and newsreels to
01:28:07.500 stoke fears of a pending communist uprising then channeled popular anxieties into political measures that
01:28:14.560 eradicated all civil liberties and democracy the stormtroopers and members of the nazi elite 0.99
01:28:19.820 paramilitary formation the ss took to the streets to brutalize or arrest political opponents opponents
01:28:25.860 and incarcerate them in hastily established detention centers and concentration camps nazi thugs broke into
01:28:31.880 opposing political party offices destroying printing presses and newspapers um this happened at a
01:28:38.380 breathtaking pace in germany and quite honestly i look at the news of the day just today uh trump has just
01:28:49.240 declared a national emergency for the inauguration um they're talking about all kinds of controls uh and
01:28:57.780 if something goes wrong god forbid this thing is going to come down the curtain will fall so fast nobody will
01:29:06.520 have any idea uh what to do or what to say it'll be breathless do you agree well um just to add to
01:29:17.220 your insightful commentary uh the group in germany that did that was the stormtroopers was the sd
01:29:23.520 the sturmoptelung and it was accomplished not only by the sturmoptelung on on the street but a
01:29:32.820 commissar was placed into every immediately uh after january 30th 1933 a commissar was placed in
01:29:42.480 immediately into every newsroom every radio station and indeed every organization so they had a complete
01:29:52.440 grasp of what was going on and a complete control of every aspect of humanity you don't you don't need
01:30:00.560 that anymore you have these algorithms i mean that is that's right you don't need the guy in the brown
01:30:06.660 shirt in your office saying let me see that dispatch we now the brown shirt is now lurking in cyberspace
01:30:17.780 and we need to understand to where we have come now it was not it would not have been possible
01:30:26.960 for hitler to succeed to the extent that he did without the um uh continued day in day out help
01:30:36.100 of ibm which i covered in ibm in the holocaust but now we have new technology firms billion dollar firms
01:30:44.980 firms that can almost not even be controlled in any way shape or form and um uh we are turning a very
01:30:54.260 very dark corner and it would be impossible for any knowing person to accurately describe what lies
01:31:03.760 ahead and in fact historians will have a hard time um uh identifying what actually occurred
01:31:13.840 because we've now entered that part of 1984 where people are erasing the history and replacing it
01:31:23.460 yeah in real time um edwin i i um i want to quote something that you said it was up to ibm the
01:31:34.140 solutions company to organize all six phases of the holocaust identification exclusion asset
01:31:40.980 confiscation ghettoization deportation and even extermination with its advanced punch card technology 0.75
01:31:48.480 ibm knowingly conducted the census to identify the jews religious or not made the railroads run on time
01:31:55.900 and pinpointed jewish bank accounts to seize every concentration camp had its own ibm customer site
01:32:02.900 the infamous auschwitz auschwitz tattoo began as an ibm number before it morphed into other serial systems
01:32:11.420 they first of all they they were just doing business and you know you got to do business with everybody uh
01:32:19.840 and no judgment at all you know what we're not responsible for anything then after they denied this
01:32:27.220 for a long time and really tried to destroy you but you had all of the evidence uh and your book ibm and
01:32:34.760 the holocaust is absolutely an amazing work um but is there a difference between ibm and the potential 0.97
01:32:44.340 of google and facebook
01:32:47.480 that potential of google and facebook has already been tested in china uh what ibm did as you said
01:32:58.320 uh was uh it uh systematized and organized all six phases of the holocaust i don't wish to compare
01:33:06.620 the holocaust in any way shape or form to what is happening today but look at what ibm did 0.89
01:33:13.600 in nazi germany one phase one identification where everyone is already identified here
01:33:20.520 phase two exclusion we have now seen what exclusion looks like and the curtain is just raising
01:33:28.060 on that confiscation well that's just another word for pauperization you could also use the word
01:33:35.020 demonetizing uh de-platforming uh how many people have said we're out of money so after that um the
01:33:44.380 next step is ghettoization now no one here is going to be shipped into a ghetto but we have to ask
01:33:51.820 ourselves in this country have people been uh um uh put into concentration camps have people been um
01:34:03.580 selected for domestic deportation well we know it happened with the japanese in uh uh in world in world
01:34:13.740 war ii and in my book war against the weak in the latest edition i reveal how in connecticut
01:34:20.460 the carnegie institution had um conspired with the governor of connecticut wilbur cross to do a
01:34:29.340 door-to-door survey and i know eugenics is one of your specialties uh to do a survey of every citizen
01:34:38.380 in um in connecticut they started in a town called rocky hill and they would be ranked for their eugenic or
01:34:47.660 racial worthiness and those who did not measure up which was thought to be 99 would be deported to
01:34:56.140 some place in the ozarks until that was just um too much and uh when they got overcrowded they were
01:35:06.860 working on methods of mass murder which they called extermination i actually uh wrote a um quoted the
01:35:15.020 document the planning document it was just oh my gosh circumstance of an election that this was not
01:35:22.860 carried out but they did start it and this was done by the carnegie institution by the state of
01:35:29.420 connecticut and by the governor of connecticut and it began in rocky hill and their purpose was not all
01:35:36.220 only to um deport domestically deport uh uh hundreds of thousands if not millions of residents of
01:35:45.180 connecticut but then to deprive them of their money remember the japanese were deprived of their property
01:35:50.860 right deprive them of their assets in connecticut and when they were just too crowded uh for the camps to
01:35:59.660 continue eventually to exterminate them and the word they used was euthanasia which is mercy killing
01:36:06.700 under the theory that they um didn't have a good life they were doing them a favor yeah they were
01:36:14.620 showing mercy by relieving them of the burden of being on planet earth so edwin i'm going to take a
01:36:21.980 one minute break and then i want to come back and ask you what have you learned from history that can
01:36:26.860 help us today violence is certainly not the answer as we know from the reichstag fire it will only
01:36:34.860 accelerate things so what have you learned what should we be doing today to be able to not repeat
01:36:43.100 the mistakes of the past in one minute back with edwin black man you just have to hang out with me
01:36:51.500 because i'm a barrel of fun all day long um all right here we are when trump was inaugurated on
01:36:58.220 january 20th 2017 the dow closed at 19 732 today at the end of his presidency the dow is at what 31 000
01:37:11.500 i don't have it sitting up come on switch it's about 31 000 uh right now is it going to hold i think it's
01:37:18.940 going to take a crash uh a bad one uh reset um if you will but i could be wrong i've been wrong
01:37:26.540 on the timing of things for a long time but in the past two years janet yellen has made seven million

01:39:05.100 online at edwin black book uh so what have you learned from history that can help us and guide us now
01:39:16.940 the only thing we could learn from history is that those who have not been uh enlightened about what
01:39:22.860 has happened before and those who uh are not opening their eyes will be led to demise now i am deeply
01:39:33.260 concerned because there are so many potholes ahead and people are driving right into them many people are
01:39:42.940 shocked i unfortunately and i really regret this i am not shocked uh i regret that i uh am not wrong
01:39:51.980 about any of the predictions in 2019 uh um i openly predicted there might be something approaching
01:40:01.100 in a second american civil war i repeated that last year and several weeks ago i had a show on the edwin
01:40:08.700 black show devoted to what could cause an american i saw a second civil war and what would it be the
01:40:17.660 number one feature would be an attempt to exact revenge on half the country on 75 million americans
01:40:26.940 and we and we see this happening at an accelerating pace and the only thing that i could advise people
01:40:36.140 is what i advise my closest friends and family keep your eyes open keep your ears open watch for what is
01:40:45.020 happening and do not be surprised and think of history before you make a move for your future
01:40:54.940 edwin uh gosh i wish it was more fun to talk to you uh because you're you're fascinating um you're
01:41:03.020 i i trust you i know how careful you are on the holocaust um you know to make sure that you never ever 0.91
01:41:12.220 um diminish that by comparing today to that etc um and so i i know how careful you are and i know what you
01:41:23.340 have battled through to be able just to have a voice and i i so appreciate it and i hope we talk again soon
01:41:32.780 um look in history for me about peaceful uh actions that we might take and we'll talk again soon edwin
01:41:42.780 thank you so much his name is edwin black he is a host of the edwin black show two books must have in
01:41:53.900 paper not digital war against the week and ibm and the holocaust

01:42:26.140 thought well you know now i can set the outside of it on fire as well um it is it's saving us as we
01:42:33.580 don't have a kitchen or anything else a rec tech grill is it's just so good and they um it has a
01:42:40.940 a uh the thermometer that you can put in the meat and it will tell you exactly when it's done it is

01:43:30.860 this is the glenn back program we welcome rachel bevard on with us she is the senior director
01:43:35.260 of policy conservative partnership institute the co-author of the book uh conservative knowing
01:43:42.220 what to keep uh i she's really really good at looking at where we are in the political landscape
01:43:51.980 and where do we go from here so we wanted to get her on rachel how are you i'm doing well thanks for
01:43:58.940 having me you bet you bet um let's just talk about the political landscape here for a second
01:44:06.620 um you know there's a national emergency that has been declared by the president they are trying to
01:44:12.620 impeach the president the reason why he in case you don't know this i know you do but in case the
01:44:17.820 audience doesn't know this the national emergency it revolves around uh this big uh you know carry your
01:44:25.980 guns to the state capitol uh next week uh and uh and surround your state capitol and come armed to
01:44:33.820 the inauguration i mean it's just a horrible idea that will end with the second amendment being decimated
01:44:41.820 uh if god forbid there's any problems um tell me about the political landscape and where do conservatives
01:44:49.260 stand right now and then we'll move forward well i think you have a couple of things going on here
01:44:56.940 you know the first is obviously that the violence at the capitol was appalling and i think you know
01:45:02.460 those protesters failed at their goal and the and the result will be to marginalize a lot of the voices
01:45:07.740 that i think have very legitimate aims and you know but i think that speaks to a broader point which is
01:45:13.580 that look i think while we should not condone what happened at the capitol we should denounce it
01:45:18.860 we should still seek to understand why thousands of people you know drove to the united states capitol
01:45:25.100 spent their own money you know to to bring legitimate legitimately held feelings of disenfranchisement
01:45:32.060 of you know grievance about how their politicians were not representing them the majority of those
01:45:36.700 people were not violent and i think it's incumbent upon the republican party and democrats as well to
01:45:41.340 understand what it was that drove those people because look i i said i said on wednesday night
01:45:47.820 there are many reasons that need to be explored but there are no excuses for what happened but there
01:45:56.300 are many reasons and we have to talk about those reasons because they're only making things worse
01:46:02.380 that's right and that's where i think you see now the opportunists in on the democratic side in
01:46:07.820 congress in the in the media at in levels of corporate power basically using what happened as
01:46:13.900 an excuse to do what they've always wanted to do which is to silence their opposition to silence any
01:46:18.780 meaningful debate or trying to understand what happened trying to find a clear way forward they
01:46:23.260 want these people out of public life and they're going to use every lever of power that they control to
01:46:28.140 do so and that is going to serve to just inflame the situation and it's going to bring more
01:46:33.260 destruction more marginalization at a time when we need to be doing some deep thinking about why this
01:46:38.220 happened so is there any moderating force at all in the democratic party i mean yesterday i hear oh it's
01:46:48.220 time for healing and coming together and we're going to give you know the stimulus package to everybody
01:46:53.900 except white men and i was like what are you doing what are you doing is there any moderating factor at
01:47:01.740 all that we can count on or that we can hope for this is the scary thing is that it's very hard to
01:47:09.820 point to any moderating influence at this point because you have politicians big you know democratic
01:47:16.380 politicians now working in tandem with corporations and the news media so we're not just dealing with a
01:47:22.380 political party here we are dealing with an operation of collusive power to try to silence you know a
01:47:28.780 group not just individuals but entire swaths of the american people because they hold views they
01:47:33.100 don't like there's a reason that michelle obama didn't go to congress to say shut down this rhetoric 1.00
01:47:38.780 she went to big tech she made a public appeal to mark zuckerberg to eliminate political opposition
01:47:44.300 same with joe manchin did the same thing alexander ocasio-cortez tried to get twitter to remove
01:47:49.020 her previous tweets supporting protests okay this is the level of collusive power that we're seeing and it's
01:47:54.620 dangerous okay so let's let's stop there for a second because you've just written a really great
01:47:59.580 article on section 230 um you know there's a lot of people that look now at uh the conservatives and
01:48:06.460 they're like you guys haven't done jack you haven't done jack on any of this stuff but they're kind of in
01:48:12.060 a rock and a hard place because we don't want more government regulation that i think is what mark
01:48:17.820 zuckerberg wants they want more regulation because they'll help write the bill section 230 is kind of
01:48:25.660 this unicorn out there that we're all hoping you know that you know pigs can fly and wishes or horses
01:48:31.820 that this will stop and uh and turn things around do you believe in section 230 is there anything we can
01:48:42.220 do that can stop them that won't bite us in the ass in the in the uh in the end so i think the 0.91
01:48:49.260 conversations around section 230 you know were useful and instructive because it is a government
01:48:53.980 subsidy that goes to these industries but to your point i do think it presents a lot of challenges
01:48:58.940 and i think at this point it's almost child's play i think we've almost moved beyond section 230 for
01:49:04.220 reigning in big tech i think we've seen how powerful they are and i if i i'm on the right and i'm
01:49:09.660 screaming for antitrust enforcement after what those companies have done to parlor and other
01:49:14.380 alternatives is there anyone on i mean i know elizabeth warren wants you know harsh regulation 1.00
01:49:20.540 is there anyone that's proposing anything on the left that we that is acceptable to us that you have
01:49:25.820 seen so i haven't seen anything on section 230 that i think from a conservative perspective
01:49:33.500 solves any problems for me i think yeah worse um but i do think there is some bipartisan
01:49:39.500 cooperation on antitrust and i'm not suggesting a politically motivated enforcement i'm talking
01:49:44.540 about using the laws that we have on the books because remember antitrust enforcement is law
01:49:49.100 enforcement right it's not new regulation it's saying is there are there laws being broken in
01:49:53.980 the market if there are we should prosecute those we don't tolerate amnesty in any other area why should
01:49:58.300 we tolerate it you know for big tech and so there is some cooperation on that point congressman ken
01:50:03.340 buck from colorado's republican a conservative member of the house freedom caucus has really taken
01:50:08.220 a leadership role on this front um he doesn't agree with some of what democrats want to do but he has
01:50:13.340 proposed areas where i think republicans democrats can work together because look these companies are
01:50:17.980 now changing our democracy they're changing the way that we live together and interact they're changing
01:50:22.940 who can speak not only that but who can hear right and that is having dangerous effects i think on how
01:50:28.780 we live as a free society so there has got to be action on this front and i'll tell you you know one
01:50:34.460 other thing about antitrust i don't have a problem in theory with companies deciding who speaks on
01:50:39.340 their platform right that the companies do have first amendment rights in that regard the problem
01:50:43.260 i have with it is that facebook isn't doing it for 20 of the world they're doing it for 99 of the world
01:50:48.780 yes and that is a problem that i think needs to be looked at and so antitrust can play a role here
01:50:53.660 i think republicans have to get serious about it so there is a internet um company north idaho internet
01:51:01.020 provider um and they have now banned uh they've now banned facebook and twitter from from their services
01:51:12.460 so they're not they're not carrying those they're blocking them in northern idaho in the spokane area
01:51:18.700 and immediately uh twitter and facebook said you can't do that and they said well wait we're a
01:51:27.420 private company we can say if you can say this why can't we say this i mean i would love to see a
01:51:35.580 i'd love to see a bunch of internet providers do this so we could go to court with it um but is there
01:51:41.260 a difference between this that that you can think of well this is the double standard right that exists
01:51:49.500 for tech and for everyone else it's not just isps right it's tech doesn't isn't subject to the same
01:51:55.100 liability that newspapers are that other first amendment actors are because of section 230 they
01:51:59.500 occupy a privileged position in many ways and i think the hypocrisy that you're pointing to here
01:52:04.620 is that you know isps to a certain extent operate like common carriers just you know it they can
01:52:10.060 discriminate but it's very difficult for them to do so but again you have amazon web services which is
01:52:16.060 almost de facto a common carrier at this point yet they don't have to operate by the same rules and
01:52:22.380 that is something i think that is going to be a point of debate on the right in the months to come
01:52:28.380 is have these companies risen so powerful and become so uh you know the scale is so large that they
01:52:37.260 now sort of control the public square if that is true should they be subject to some sort of
01:52:41.740 responsibility liability compliance responsibility that they aren't now and that's i think going to
01:52:46.620 be a question that's going to be posed to the right in in the foreseeable future um let me let me ask you a
01:52:54.140 very um important question and if you're not if if you have any doubt on on uh being exact in your
01:53:03.260 language on this just pass on the on the answer and i accept that um rachel i am i'm very concerned uh
01:53:12.460 i i have to every day come on and um and talk to people who are very angry justifiably so see their
01:53:21.900 country being torn apart see what could very well be the beginning of what happened in venezuela
01:53:28.380 um and and they want to do something there are forces uh on the right and the left and the fringe
01:53:37.540 that say it's revolution time it is not revolution time but what can the average person do what i mean
01:53:47.520 they feel like they've run out of options well i agree with you that it is not revolution time and i say
01:53:55.020 this having spoken to people that have come from countries that have recently undergone revolution
01:53:59.760 yeah i do not want that here it's awful uh you know so i do not endorse that in in any way but i feel
01:54:08.460 i feel for them because i think a lot of us feel like our voices are not being heard but the end of the day
01:54:14.640 our politics is what needs to save us our politics our process of government our self-government
01:54:21.340 has always been how we have worked out these problems it fails when we don't debate it fails
01:54:27.900 when we don't vote when we don't have a forum to air these concerns in a you know self-government
01:54:33.280 representative way i think republicans take a lot of blame for that when you shut down and you dismiss
01:54:38.880 your voters you aren't giving them the voice that our republic demands and so i think we need to
01:54:45.280 rely we cannot lose faith in our political system we have to demand debate we have to demand
01:54:51.240 deliberation we have to demand representation well that is really violence this this doesn't mean
01:54:56.740 armed insurrection that's demanding it rhetorically this is going to be incumbent on the republicans
01:55:03.900 they have to stop hating their own voters they have to stop dismissing them thinking that they're
01:55:11.160 a bunch of local yokels and they have to realize who they represent and talk to them in real terms
01:55:21.980 uh it's it's it's really going to come down to them uh and i hope that we have some leadership that
01:55:31.560 understands that do you think do you see it on the horizon because i don't see it anywhere
01:55:35.860 well i think you're absolutely right the republican party has a huge problem in the fact that it
01:55:41.080 despises its own base and that is you know again our elections have to mean something going forward
01:55:46.720 because you know if we can vote these people out our republic still matters and i think that's what
01:55:52.060 it's going to come down to rachel thank you so much for a uh for a difficult conversation that needs
01:55:59.480 to be had and i'd love to have you on uh much more often here in the future we need to have a dialogue
01:56:06.440 and and look to the future and see what we can do thank you thank you you bet uh i want to remind you that
01:56:15.240 tomorrow at uh 9 p.m eastern time on blaze tv i'm doing a uh wednesday night special on the administration

01:56:32.960 need to know who is in this administration what they're good at what they are known for what they
01:56:40.200 believe in that is tomorrow um i said earlier on this program politics are not the answer uh changing
01:56:48.700 people's mind is not the answer changing people's hearts is the answer and i'm trying to balance a
01:56:57.380 two-pronged approach here i've got to keep informed on politics and what's going on and we will do that
01:57:04.900 but we also need to look to the future on a different tact and that is the human heart tomorrow the head

01:58:15.960 less able to get around and live the active lifestyle that they wanted and were used to
01:58:20.320 so they tried a different approach all the time they were what can we do get rid of the pain and
01:58:25.900 nothing seemed to work fortunately these two californians why they're californians still i don't

01:59:13.740 on tomorrow's broadcast we're going to talk a little bit about something that is very dangerous
01:59:21.940 completely understandable and we've all gone through it i mean after 2016 i really stopped
01:59:27.920 watching cnn i stopped watching fox i just stopped and i just you know started listening to the news
01:59:33.580 and podcasts and everything else um but i i will tell you that i just had dinner with a new friend
01:59:41.260 of mine and he said you know i stopped listening all this stuff and my life is better and i said i
01:59:46.700 completely understand that but you're now in a new world you cannot afford to not know what's going on
01:59:55.040 because it's happening way too fast and i want to talk to you about that on tomorrow's broadcast
02:00:00.040 tell a friend we are going to approach this situation differently than everyone else this is a matter of
02:00:09.980 mind and heart and we are going to try to address both of those things we'll see you tomorrow
