00:46:00.500 hit a home run he came in and actually showed up as a vice president uh for eight years you'd think

00:46:05.840 maybe this wouldn't be such a big shocker but he did finish uh fifth fourth and second uh or it was

00:46:13.400 actually fourth fifth and second in order fifth place in new hampshire i honestly could have thought

00:46:17.320 he would have may have dropped out after that it was so bad however kind of bounced back to a second

00:46:22.120 place by 26 points though second place in nevada uh which is not a great showing by any means but

00:46:28.260 showed up enough to convince people in south carolina he was viable he won 48 of the vote

00:46:35.740 in uh south carolina to uh sanders 20 so a huge blowout there was a poll that came out on the last

00:46:44.080 day right before south carolina that had him up by 28 points exactly but a lot of the polls had him

00:46:50.220 up by double digits we talked about this all last week yeah if you listen to the show you probably do

00:46:54.160 this was coming because we talked about it all last week and we talked about it we showed you how

00:46:57.760 the polls were changing by at the beginning of the week it was pretty close by the end of the week it

00:47:02.140 was the last poll i think i heard was eight up 18 uh 18 points yeah there's there's one i think 21 18

00:47:08.560 one of them 15 and one that actually hit 28 points exactly so he dominated the field and as we talked

00:47:16.720 about this leading up to south carolina there's basically two hurdles for sanders to win this

00:47:22.000 nomination hurdle number one was south carolina does joe biden show up and win that state in a

00:47:27.240 convincing fashion yeah if it would have been close it wouldn't have changed anything right it

00:48:13.820 running for president since 1988 and he's won one state that being said uh he he was able to win that

00:48:20.840 one state in convincing fashion that leaves the bloomberg question still kind of hanging out there

00:48:25.480 because if if sanders were to have defeated biden really the only alternative with the resources to

00:48:32.840 run against him and try to at least push this to a contested convention would have been bloomberg and

00:48:38.760 bloomberg killed himself with this with his debate performances because honestly if he just didn't

00:48:43.660 participate in those i think biden would have had a tougher time winning south carolina but people

00:48:49.580 were like okay we have nobody else we better go with biden and biden now i think steps into that

00:48:54.900 1b sort of position with bloomberg still looming the the the the talk is if bloomberg if biden can be

00:49:04.900 strong on super tuesday there's 14 states on super tuesday he looks pretty good in some of them he's

00:49:09.660 going to win a lot of delegates if he looks strong bloomberg may consider running more anti-sanders ads

00:49:18.180 and sort of trying to get help biden in a way uh go to the nomination just trying to take out

01:30:13.940 this is why governments are freaking out or taking aggressive action um this is verse the flu the case

01:30:22.040 fatality rate is currently 2.3 globally in the united states it's 2.5 but i don't believe that

01:30:30.900 number because i don't think we know how many people have it all right so the fatality rate is 2.3

01:30:36.920 globally the serious complication rate meaning pneumonia and hospitalization the common season flu

01:30:45.100 seasonal flu is 0.9 this is at 18 so 18 get pneumonia or have to go to the hospital this is why it's so
