00:00:00.000 Greetings, Laddingtons. Welcome back to good old Hellas.
00:00:04.880 Now, I thought to make this a New Year special episode, so a bit longer, and I thought to start off by commenting about the past year a bit.
00:00:18.600 So I've gone from about 68,000 to almost 88,000 subscribers here on YouTube, and...
00:00:30.000 I could obviously have wished for a higher number, but I have noticed something, and that is that the amount of subscribers are largely dependent on how much drama and outrage and chaos you partake in.
00:00:48.260 So it doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing that the amount of subscribers hasn't been the most drastic in increases.
00:00:57.240 And anyway, moving forward, I will not compromise any of my integrity just in order to gain views and subscribers.
00:01:09.080 So I will keep pushing the pace, but I will simply have to realize that it will take a bit of time.
00:01:17.580 But either way, a very good, productive year, despite that, here on YouTube.
00:01:23.820 So, as you might have seen, as you might see from the last episode, I have done some power gaming.
00:01:31.640 So I have a new armor, and I have completed some missions so that we could talk to this guy.
00:01:37.540 So, yeah, let's get into it.
00:01:39.440 What's up, bro?
00:01:41.240 I hear good things from my commander's mercenary.
00:01:45.100 What news do you have?
00:01:46.580 The Athenian commander is dead.
00:01:48.620 Megaris is ready to fall.
00:01:50.660 Good.
00:01:51.760 The wolf has ordered the attack.
00:01:54.680 I'm glad you're here to join us in our march to glory.
00:01:58.340 That guy looks exactly like a Roman, as Blade Strikes commented upon the last episode.
00:02:10.140 And I definitely agree, he looks very Roman.
00:02:13.520 I'm honored to be there.
00:02:15.740 I'm proud to fight by your side.
00:02:17.980 Yes, you have earned your place.
00:02:21.160 We will win the day for Sparta and the wolf. 0.75
00:02:25.340 Come, we must reach the forward camp.
00:02:27.600 I'm ready.
00:02:31.480 I'm ready.
00:02:32.740 Follow me.
00:02:33.760 We must prepare for the battle ahead.
00:02:36.560 So tell me about the wolf.
00:02:38.360 He is a great man.
00:02:40.460 He will lead Sparta to victory against the...
00:02:42.880 No, no.
00:02:44.020 What's he like as a man?
00:02:45.960 As a father?
00:02:47.140 He...
00:02:47.740 He used to be admired.
00:02:50.580 Strong.
00:02:51.440 Carey in his way, but sometimes I...
00:02:53.920 Yes?
00:02:54.680 Nothing.
00:02:55.600 Just...
00:02:56.480 He gets this faraway look in his eyes.
00:03:00.620 And I sense a sadness there.
00:03:02.680 He is Sparta's general.
00:03:05.180 But he is also made of flesh and blood.
00:03:08.200 Life cannot be lived without some regrets.
00:03:10.040 That is true.
00:03:13.040 He is missing his son and his daughter.
00:03:20.080 But yeah, it will be interesting to see the full story here.
00:03:24.600 I'm sure that we will get to that point in this episode.
00:03:28.600 The last video of the year.
00:03:30.220 So anyway, I was at the Temple of Iron a bit earlier.
00:03:35.360 Trained with my brother.
00:03:37.260 And we did some squats.
00:03:39.660 So 3x3 at 180 kg.
00:03:43.880 Nice way to finish up the training year.
00:03:47.240 Hello, mates.
00:03:58.960 Let's...
00:03:59.720 Let's illuminate some people.
00:04:03.880 Are you ready to crush the Athenians? 0.97
00:04:13.220 Conquest battles.
00:04:18.820 Alright.
00:04:19.740 Let's do it.
00:04:22.020 To battle.
00:04:22.840 Ready for war.
00:04:23.780 Alright, we have a battle on our hands.
00:04:35.180 Get at them, boys.
00:04:38.640 Right, I will enter power gaming mode.
00:04:43.720 And then I will be a bit more talkative.
00:04:46.240 I want to comment upon the last episode.
00:04:53.780 Right, I have utilized a little edit here because this was a bit of a grindy fight.
00:05:03.000 So it might have become a bit repetitive doing it, talking through all of it.
00:05:11.960 But I thought to at least check in midway in the battle.
00:05:17.220 And I actually thought that I could elaborate on what I was going to elaborate on.
00:05:25.940 And that is the weird looking woman in the last episode looked very unnatural. 1.00
00:05:33.580 I would say that it's a shame and it's silly of Ubisoft to do these sort of things.
00:05:42.440 But overall, it's a really good game and if I can recommend the game, yeah, I can still do it.
00:05:49.500 If you can, obviously, look away from these little small things such as bandit female captains and etc. 0.99
00:06:03.580 Now, obviously, if it was only one female captain like that, I wouldn't have cared. 1.00
00:06:10.100 But if it's a reoccurring theme, it's a bit bothersome.
00:06:15.840 So, anyway, point being that it's a bit sad that they put in these sort of things.
00:06:25.480 But, uh, it is what it is.
00:06:34.020 I, uh, I still enjoy the game.
00:06:39.580 Despite that, uh, thing.
00:06:43.140 So, anyway, let's, uh, let's illuminate this big, uh, big bloatmax guy.
00:06:55.480 Hello, brov, come at me.
00:07:10.440 We had to illuminate him for the glory of, uh, Zeus and others.
00:07:16.900 Look at that, Helios.
00:07:19.240 Helios is usually my friend.
00:07:23.080 Aha, he ran away.
00:07:25.480 Oh, well, that was a good, uh, decision, uh, I suppose, to, uh, to run away for him.
00:07:39.720 The wolf requests the presence of the mercenary.
00:07:44.260 We shall be up to him in a moment.
00:07:47.360 With respect, he wishes to see the mercenary alone.
00:07:50.820 What?
00:07:51.520 I said the commander wishes...
00:07:53.080 I heard what you said.
00:07:54.240 I just don't understand why.
00:07:57.520 Those were his orders, sir.
00:08:02.560 He's getting a bit jealous now, I, uh, think.
00:08:05.520 It appears I have other matters to attend to.
00:08:25.440 Athenian champion helmet.
00:08:27.160 Very nice, uh, very nice indeed.
00:08:30.440 Now, let us, uh, see what, um, what our father has to say.
00:08:36.400 This will be interesting.
00:08:37.300 So, anyway, uh, thought to mention that I have a good number of, uh, solid videos that will come up in, uh, well, next week then, in the new year.
00:08:59.080 So, uh, as I mentioned, I thought to save them for the new year.
00:09:02.500 So, we start off strong.
00:09:03.900 God!
00:09:04.900 He has killed him! 0.84
00:09:09.680 Jesse!
00:09:10.620 Alexia! 0.99
00:09:10.920 so you are the champion who won us today tell me your name hero so that i may greet you as a true
00:09:27.640 warrior here it's been a long time impossible i saw you fall 0.53
00:09:40.600 i didn't fall you fucking threw me to my death i did what was required of me as a spartan 0.98
00:09:49.800 i've made my peace with that you need to as well you are my father you were supposed to protect me 0.99
00:09:57.000 you were reckless you forced my hand i was protecting my sister because you wouldn't
00:10:04.760 the oracle decreed that cassandra had to die her word is absolute you know that you can't cower
00:10:12.760 behind your sense of duty anymore enough
00:10:23.240 i can't change the past alexios
00:10:25.800 i will live and die a spartan
00:10:34.280 there's a large reward for the mercenary who can collect the wolf's head 0.84
00:10:39.240 is that why you're here
00:10:48.120 aha interesting but um i want to know what uh what's up so we will go with
00:10:55.960 i've come to get answers you've avoided the past long enough now you will answer to me
00:11:12.680 do you deserve death there is no honor in vengeance
00:11:24.520 you must face the ghost of your past butter and that is a fate worse than death 0.87
00:11:30.360 death i have failed in my duty i failed to protect you to protect both of you
00:11:39.080 both of you
00:11:42.760 i loved you and your sister as if you were truly my own
00:11:50.280 but you were never mine
00:11:55.160 what do you bring
00:11:58.520 that is a question you should ask your mother
00:12:03.800 wait
00:12:04.120 find your mother find her
00:12:11.400 whatever main is she knows far more than i do
00:12:21.560 where will you go to find my honor
00:12:25.160 beware of the snakes in the grass alexios
00:12:43.080 i need to get out of here 0.96
00:12:44.280 damn intense so uh the wolf of sparta 0.97
00:12:49.320 uh actually got cucked did not uh expect that at all 0.99
00:12:57.960 so
00:12:59.640 all right cool a lot of things to do first and foremost let's uh see what the crack is let's uh
00:13:06.920 level ourselves here always a nice thing so i suppose
00:13:14.760 how we can't upgrade these things i thought they were fun
00:13:19.320 uh gear master warrior ability taking great care of your gear pays off
00:13:26.280 increase armor by 30 percent that is uh very true take care of your things
00:13:33.800 and they will take care of you okay nicolaos sword legendary
00:13:39.160 absolutely epic and we have a tracker's cloak epic torso
00:13:44.520 hmm not as aesthetic but it is what it is we have
00:13:52.280 aha so athenian champion helmet but that is not as aesthetic so we'll go with the
00:14:00.120 the um the other one for now i might change later but anyway talk to barnabas
00:14:09.640 i have to do a
00:14:17.560 jump a leap of faith here
00:14:26.840 boom absolutely
00:14:30.600 aha look at that we have
00:14:32.680 uh kibbalinos the elegant i don't know what kind of level he is i'm gonna try to um
00:14:39.640 see if we can box with him actually what is up bra
00:14:47.160 boom
00:14:47.480 i don't know if we can actually get some help from the spartans here no they were not on our side
00:15:02.680 but oh well this is only a level eight mercenary 0.96
00:15:05.640 i need to confirm kill but i think i need to kill these guys first 0.93
00:15:22.600 oh well since this was supposed to be a bit of a longer episode i suppose it's uh fine 0.98
00:15:35.640 uh 0.64
00:15:59.640 die unbeliever 1.00
00:16:05.640 right i utilized letHAHA edit there because this was also a 0.97
00:16:35.640 A grindy fight. Oh, look at that. And we have another mercenary at level 12. That's not good at all. I don't actually want to box with him. Maybe I have to, though.
00:17:05.640 Alright, I utilized a good few edits there so that we could get away from this mercenary. We got Interrupter in our duel, unfortunately, by another guy. Otherwise, I probably, hopefully, would have taken him.
00:17:35.640 So, yeah, I will just hide here for a moment and then we're actually going to see if we can assassinate the bastard because he had not all too much life left. 0.99
00:17:52.120 But he has an entourage of mad cons there. See if we can actually shoot him from here. 0.99
00:18:05.640 Die, unbeliever. 1.00
00:18:14.080 There we are. Nice. 1.00
00:18:16.420 And then we have to confirm kill for the other one.
00:18:26.440 So, anyway, I will utilize yet another edit. He's going to get up to this mercenary right here and finish him off.
00:18:38.440 Or, actually, I will not utilize an edit.
00:18:39.960 What? What? Is he...
00:18:41.720 Is that another one?
00:18:54.960 Oh.
00:18:55.400 And yet another one has joined the prey. 1.00
00:19:19.220 I'm not sure how I will proceed with this episode, but I think I will just have to kill all of them. 0.97
00:19:28.460 Then check back with you all. 0.94
00:19:35.740 I don't want to kill this leopard though, or if it was...
00:19:40.720 I didn't really see what it was, but it looked nice at least.
00:19:45.560 So I have to defeat all of these mad guns in order to progress.
00:20:01.680 There we are.
00:20:02.960 Now then, perhaps we can finally progress.
00:20:07.240 I'll see.
00:20:07.680 Maybe we get jumped by another mercenary soon.
00:20:13.080 That is the question.
00:20:15.480 Alright, there we are, true friends.
00:20:17.720 I have no idea how I will edit all of this, but it was an intense fight.
00:20:24.920 Versus about three mercenaries.
00:20:30.660 And then a fourth one came, and I don't want to box with him or her, because she's a much higher level.
00:20:38.000 So what I'm going to do is, I'm going to get back to the battlefield somehow, confirm kill, so I can get the experience from it, and then I will head back to Barabbas.
00:20:50.560 So, yeah, a bit of a chaotic episode, but that was the will of the gods.
00:20:57.940 So anyway, new year, new opportunities.
00:21:04.400 Good stuff, good stuff.
00:21:05.580 Definitely looking forward to getting somewhat shredded, at least.
00:21:13.920 And when I say shredded, I mean something like 10% body fat to the summer.
00:21:18.080 I haven't really been that lean since 2015.
00:21:21.900 I've been in decent shape, obviously, these last summers as well, but it's a bit different than what I imagine a more aesthetic physique can be.
00:21:39.300 So anyway, what we're going to do is, there is the mercenary.
00:21:46.640 And she, I think it is, for some reason, is prowling around there, which means that we can't really access where we want to go to confirm kill.
00:22:03.220 So, I'm actually going to see if we can sneak around here some way.
00:22:08.080 And also, in the battle, I think I killed a good amount of Spartans, too.
00:22:16.540 Obviously a bit regrettable, but it is what it is.
00:22:24.600 Hash is coming at us there.
00:22:29.940 Now, I have no idea where...
00:22:38.080 There it might be.
00:22:40.880 Ah, so there she is. 0.96
00:22:43.260 Hmm.
00:22:44.040 And we want to get to the place there.
00:22:48.580 Alright, most chaotic episode thus far.
00:22:52.140 Now, finally, after everything, we are ready to continue on with the storyline and get back to Barnabas.
00:23:02.840 We have our trusted seed Phobos with us.
00:23:06.780 Now, I hope the Spartans won't mind that we've killed a good number of them. 0.53
00:23:12.360 They don't seem to mind. 0.96
00:23:13.880 That is good.
00:23:15.520 Hello, lads.
00:23:21.360 I will have to leave him there while we run to the boat.
00:23:27.540 So, yeah.
00:23:29.020 Looking forward, as I said, to some more good training come next year.
00:23:34.100 I'm trying to increase my deadlift as far as it is possible.
00:23:41.780 So, I think I should be able to maybe have 260 kg, something like that.
00:23:51.440 It can be a reasonable aim, but you never know.
00:23:55.560 I can just hope that I have an uninterrupted training spring.
00:24:00.400 Hello, mate.
00:24:01.140 So, did you kill your father? 0.99
00:24:04.780 Stepfather. 0.98
00:24:06.440 I suppose the gods won't judge you too harshly for a step-patricide.
00:24:12.020 Nikolaus raised me.
00:24:14.420 Trained me.
00:24:15.900 He was my father. 0.63
00:24:18.020 Even if he did try to kill me.
00:24:20.300 Is that better or worse?
00:24:22.840 No matter.
00:24:24.740 Yours isn't the only complicated family in the world.
00:24:27.700 Thank you for your concern.
00:24:33.000 Thanks.
00:24:34.680 I'm glad to have you around, Varnavas.
00:24:36.840 I'm happy to be here.
00:24:38.980 With anything else help.
00:24:41.480 Finding my mother.
00:24:43.740 She's alive, Varnavas.
00:24:46.160 At least, Nikolaus thought so.
00:24:48.780 Some good news, praise Ida.
00:24:51.320 What's your plan?
00:24:52.740 What course should I set, Captain?
00:24:54.340 For now, we go to Phucis.
00:24:58.360 Alpinor said he'd meet me there.
00:25:00.640 He owes me money.
00:25:02.060 And an explanation.
00:25:03.440 I, Alexios.
00:25:04.960 And let's seek the wisdom of the Pythia while we're there.
00:25:08.620 If anyone has answers for you, it's the Oracle of Delphi.
00:25:12.980 I'll consider seeing the Oracle.
00:25:19.840 I'll think about it.
00:25:21.420 Good.
00:25:22.460 You know, kings and queens travel to Phucis to consult Pythia.
00:25:26.900 She can start wars or end them. 1.00
00:25:29.620 They say that...
00:25:30.500 Yes, I know.
00:25:32.080 That's enough Oracle talk for him now.
00:25:36.160 Back to business.
00:25:38.160 You know where to meet Elpinor, I suppose?
00:25:40.700 His home is in Pilgrim's Landing.
00:25:43.860 But Nikolaus' last words to me were a warning of snakes in the grass.
00:25:49.520 Sounds like you should make extra preparations.
00:25:52.280 Elpinor is the one who should prepare.
00:25:54.960 Meet me at Apollo's temple in Delphi when you're done dealing with the snakes.
00:26:01.620 Oh, and Alexios.
00:26:03.220 In all the excitement, I nearly forgot.
00:26:05.980 Terrible things have happened to your home.
00:26:08.300 That old house, it was barely standing to begin with.
00:26:12.140 I meant Kephalonia.
00:26:13.840 A sickness has spread across the island.
00:26:16.380 They say it started in Kausos.
00:26:18.740 There doesn't seem to be a cure.
00:26:21.040 Many have died.
00:26:22.440 Mahalaka.
00:26:23.680 That priest was right.
00:26:25.300 Just say the word.
00:26:26.840 We can return to Kephalonia whenever you wish.
00:26:30.200 Thanks, Varnavas.
00:26:31.340 I'll keep that in mind.
