00:00:00.000 Greetings true friends! Today I want to share with you all the latest books that I recommend that I have read.
00:00:06.260 So here goes my epic book stack of wisdom.
00:00:10.560 First and foremost we have the aptly named The Glorious Path.
00:00:17.460 As you can see on it, highly aesthetic and glorious indeed.
00:00:22.640 And I do recommend this book for everyone who is used to reading.
00:00:26.280 I would not suggest this as your first book because it's quite heavy to read.
00:00:31.020 But with that said, it is very intellectually and linguistically stimulating.
00:00:36.040 It is not just a fantasy book. It is also imbued with a lot of politically incorrect philosophical thoughts.
00:00:43.660 And I don't mean politically incorrect in the crude sense.
00:00:46.760 I mean it in that it's a good criticism against many of the false teachings of the modern world.
00:00:52.760 And the egalitarian worldview for example.
00:00:56.860 And you know the hedonistic kind of lifestyle.
00:00:59.940 And this book obviously, if you really read it and pay attention and focus on the various themes and thoughts in the book.
00:01:08.040 It becomes very interesting that you know it revolves around themes.
00:01:12.620 Such as coming closer to the gods.
00:01:14.700 And such as obtaining glory as you might have guessed from the title.
00:01:18.300 So yes, really interesting and good book.
00:01:21.980 And very linguistically stimulating.
00:01:24.400 And you all know who have followed me on my Facebook and Instagram that I really like to write a bit older English.
00:01:31.720 So for me as well, when the conversation goes,
00:01:35.000 How art thou, for example, I absolutely love that.
00:01:38.360 So if you also like the kind of older Tolkien-esque style English, this is the book for you.
00:01:44.500 And obviously in addition to the very interesting philosophical aspects of it.
00:01:49.080 And I will actually re-read this at a later point to you know pick up and reinforce some of those philosophical nuances in the book.
00:01:56.860 Now the next book recommendation is also an excruciatingly epic one.
00:02:03.720 I've talked about this before.
00:02:05.180 The Horus Heresy.
00:02:06.160 And this book, the 14th book.
00:02:08.320 The First Heretic.
00:02:11.200 Excruciatingly epic.
00:02:11.980 I found this extremely good.
00:02:14.840 Now obviously you should start with the first books in the series to get you know the full narrative.
00:02:21.680 But in this book at least they talk a lot about faith and such matters.
00:02:27.580 And you know you get plenty of training motivation when you read a Horus Heresy book.
00:02:32.040 Because you kind of want to be an Adeptus Astartes.
00:02:34.600 Or in my case I want to be the Primarch.
00:02:37.460 So yeah if you are looking to read science fiction definitely recommend this.
00:02:43.100 And keep in mind I was no science fiction fan at all.
00:02:46.160 I did not like science fiction one bit prior to reading the Horus Heresy.
00:02:50.360 First book I read a few years back and I was absolutely hooked.
00:02:53.100 So first and only science fiction book I have actually read and recommended.
00:02:58.440 But yeah if you're looking for a very glorious series to read the Horus Heresy.
00:03:02.540 And I mean it's not something strange that a lot of guys, a lot of fashigoys as it were on our side of the political spectrum absolutely love the Warmer 40k universe with the God Emperor and his elite units etc.
00:03:15.440 Suffice to say there is no place for gender neutral pronouns.
00:03:19.740 Now moving on a book that I've recommended both once and twice before for my Legionnaires by Glorious Cornelio Codriano.
00:03:28.360 Obviously on my The Glorious Pill reading list.
00:03:32.180 And this is a very good book if you want a historical context to the JQ.
00:03:37.820 Lastly I have some historical fiction.
00:03:40.400 The Solution and this is obviously a series as well.
00:03:43.220 And it is set in the time of the blasphemous Henry VIII and the Reformation in England.
00:03:51.240 So if you are interested in religion this is a very good book for you.
00:03:55.440 And obviously it is historical fiction.
00:03:57.980 So it is fiction but with historic themes.
00:04:01.420 And you know the author has made his research as it were.
00:04:04.260 So it gives a good insight into what life looked like back then.
00:04:10.000 I found these books really interesting both from the perspective of you know religion and just as a good book.
00:04:16.840 So you don't have to be religiously interested to find these books really good.
00:04:21.220 It's just interesting and exciting as it is.
00:04:24.100 So there we have it.
00:04:26.000 A fantasy book, a science fiction book, a political book and a historic fiction book.
00:04:31.580 Four books or series that you can read if you want.
00:04:35.620 So I hope that brought some inspiration for you all to read a bit more.
00:04:40.320 Because reading is good.
00:04:42.320 And who am I?
00:04:43.280 I'm the glorious librarian of optimal wisdom.
00:04:46.160 XXO.
00:04:47.180 Boom.
