In this video, I talk about the use of gaming as a way to escape reality, and why it should never be used as a substitute for reality. I also talk about how gaming should be utilized as a tool to expand your knowledge and knowledge base, and not as a replacement for it.

00:00:00.000 Greetings Rubens! Today I want to, as the title suggests, talk a bit about gaming and this stems
00:00:17.280 from two facts. First of all a lot of kind of older philosophers or thinkers or authors etc
00:00:26.160 or just voices of dissent. Pages on Facebook or writers in certain webpages that are a bit older
00:00:34.960 they tend to look down on gaming as a complete waste of time. So I'm gonna address that and then
00:00:40.640 also what I see is the use of gaming as a way to escape reality and that is the main point of this
00:00:48.960 video that gaming must never be a route out of reality. I want no young guy to say to themselves
00:00:56.400 like when they look in the mirror they be like I fucking hate my life I hate reality I just want to 0.98
00:01:03.360 get away into another dimension for a while. That is a very dangerous path and I do not wish anyone 0.97
00:01:11.040 to go down there and I've never been there myself because I've always utilized gaming as motivation
00:01:17.520 for life. So for example you see my Makedon shirt there the Total War store I can link below was
00:01:24.000 actually kind of gifted to me and that was it's a shirt but that kind of recognition was very very
00:01:32.640 heartfelt for me and Total War especially and Age of Empires has always been two major factors for my
00:01:40.160 great interest in history so I took that gaming and then I said to myself like okay cool who are these
00:01:47.120 guys who are the gothic peoples and who are the hunts and I started reading up on you know wikipedia
00:01:53.200 articles etc and then I bought books regarding it and speaking of books I bought this today
00:02:00.880 King Arthur and then that obviously takes place during the same time as Attila Total War so you see
00:02:07.200 I've always incorporated any given game into a larger set of as I talk about in my culture stack
00:02:15.840 and the same thing goes with gym and when I saw like Skyrim character or a barbarian in Diablo 3
00:02:25.280 I want to replicate that so for any young guy who watches this when you game utilize that as motivation
00:02:33.360 for life do not ever utilize it as escaping reality I want you to model yourself of the wisdom or the
00:02:42.240 ideals portrayed in the game so if you look at if you play Skyrim be a fucking juicy nord or if you 0.92
00:02:49.520 play round world war or Attila use that you know mental pump you get from it to expand in certain areas
00:02:58.560 such as you know getting interested in the in the time period and the characters etc so that is the sort of
00:03:06.240 thing and then also if you play sudden games yet again as Skyrim or some RPG explore your city
00:03:15.600 explore the countryside get out get out and explore for yourself so the two complement each other so
00:03:21.680 you never have gaming as you know now experience this because you need to do both and utilize the
00:03:27.680 gaming as motivation to do that so that is basically what I want to say with this video so use gaming as
00:03:36.400 motivation do not use gaming as a substitute I can't stress this enough I will probably make more videos
00:03:44.320 about it because this is something I really really want to point out and then lastly something I want to
00:03:49.920 talk about more in the future as well very important for anyone who's not all too keen about me making gaming videos
00:03:59.120 realize this that there are guys who have a hundred thousand subscribers on youtube making basically only
00:04:05.680 total war videos imagine if I could get some of those subscribers and get them to be in the gym to
00:04:13.360 become confident young men to get uh to give them the glorious pill and become true friends of modern europe
00:04:21.120 think of that so show excitement for the gaming videos as well I'm not saying that you need to watch them
00:04:26.720 necessarily but drop a like drop a comment you don't need to sit through 20 minutes of gameplay but if you think
00:04:33.920 one step ahead I'm actually trying to get as many guys as many western european guys in the gym as possible to
00:04:40.720 embrace strength masculinity wisdom all my core values so that is what I'm about so yeah long story short
00:04:48.320 utilize gaming as motivation not as a way to escape reality and who am I proud son of macedon exactly so
