The Golden One - Glorious Siege Battle w⧸ Warrior of Sparta and Alex The Rambler!

00:00:00.000 Greetings true friends. Today's video is a very special one. I was actually invited by

00:00:13.440 Warrior of Sparta and the Rambler to participate in a three-way battle where I'm obviously

00:00:18.900 representing good old Makedon and Alexander the Great. Warrior of Sparta is, as the name suggests,

00:00:25.720 the Spartans and the Rambler is Rome trying to defend Rome against the vengeful Hellenic 0.99

00:00:33.880 factions that are coming to subdue the upstarts. So this was actually the first time I did anything

00:00:38.740 like this so it was a great learning experience for me and obviously they have their channels

00:00:44.020 in the description if you're into gaming I suggest you subscribe to them and they also have a campaign

00:00:50.020 they do together which is one is the Western Roman Empire and the other is the Eastern Roman Empire

00:00:55.000 when they sit in Skype and have a good bit of banter and just you know play Attila so I can

00:01:00.120 really recommend that. And I also included like two minutes before we actually begin the recording

00:01:06.340 so you can see because I was quite confused as what goes on before you put on the recording when

00:01:11.300 you make collabs such as this because this yeah this was the first time I made a collab of this

00:01:17.580 sort so I hope you enjoyed that bit as well and I hope you enjoyed the video. I tried to make my best to

00:01:26.380 perform in the battlefield and still you know be interactive so. And who am I? I'm a proud son of a Makedon XOXO.

00:01:34.700 Yeah do be photoshopped yeah absolutely. Yeah I've spent a good amount of time there as well in the last

00:01:42.780 last months actually. Yeah including today. Yeah for your Western Roman Empire one. Yeah. Yeah all right.

00:01:51.820 Okay. I just need a minute. Yeah I'm just gonna defend this. I like this color actually a lot. I prefer this

00:01:59.500 time of day. It's more brighter. I like this. It's good. I prefer this time than we had fighting before

00:02:05.580 actually. It's nice with a bit of sun also. In other delights mostly grim and dark like. Yeah I think

00:02:13.340 when you brought the Emperor Edition out of this game they improved the lighting on it and the shading

00:02:18.460 a little bit. It was all enhanced a bit so this is why this is how it looks now. Okay cool. It looks

00:02:24.860 better. I'll be but a moment. I just want to make sure I can respond to any threat. That's where

00:02:37.900 it's from the hell ass. Oh confidently. Oh shit. Don't want to do that. Regards of Olympus. 1.00

00:02:44.780 Regards of Olympus. Corbel Yeah. Okay i'm just going to start in 3, 2, 1

00:02:59.580 Right. Okay. Are you good Marcus are you recording now? I am all set. Right. I am recording. I am now

00:03:10.300 on as well so let me know when you're ready and i shall start the introduction i am um i am ready

00:03:16.140 good glory to macedon yes okay right here we go and you are good rambler so always always always

00:03:24.220 good right so three two one hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this clash of titans

00:03:33.100 this has been two thousand years in the making and we are here back with rome 2 for this battle of

00:03:38.540 nations with myself warrior sparta playing as the heroes of sparta my good friend alex rambler

00:03:45.180 as a defending romans all right city of rome hello and today we have a very special guest with us the

00:03:52.300 golden one playing as the proud sons of macadon greetings you proud sons of macadon i get to

00:03:59.500 shout this the entire game here you will you will so yes we're here with the golden one today um

00:04:05.420 basically if you don't know who he is check out his channel link in the description he has a really

00:04:10.060 great diverse channel where he covers let's play to total war room 2 and attila you think you do

00:04:15.180 some skyrim as well you've got some yeah i did i did actually do some skyrim and a bit of a bit of

00:04:22.060 everything i suppose some book book advice and absolutely nutrition bodybuilding yeah

00:04:27.660 a bit of what i what i fancy it's a very diverse channel it's a very diverse channel because uh

00:04:34.140 i say this this guy's got the physique of zeus basically if you look if you check out his channel

00:04:38.060 he's got this is the physique of zeus he's thank you very much it's awesome but that's uh you know

00:04:42.940 it's that's humbling to hear it's humbling yeah but of course if you don't know who rambler is

00:04:47.020 which i'm sure you do check out mr rambler channel as well he loves to the wall he's very good with his

00:04:51.980 his modern videos and he's just he's just a great guy so check out rambler that's true you know and

00:04:57.820 it's good good banter also it's good banter banter banter everyone loves a bit of banter so today we

00:05:04.460 have this set up as i said to you before rambler is playing as the romans he's defending the great

00:05:09.500 city of rome the hellas we here macedon and uh sparta i'm playing the spot of course we are fighting

00:05:17.420 and trying to invade the great city and trying to push back the romans from there

00:05:22.540 well i'm number two to one so i don't have any hope yeah to to subdue the upstarts

00:05:28.220 like the the old hellenic world they aren't doing all too kindly upon the new rise of rome here so 0.98

00:05:34.700 we're gonna end that and now try to end that today well rambler's go try and put up a good fire i'm sure

00:05:41.100 you will try you've pushed me back to my uh your capital yes this is the final stand of the upstarts

00:05:47.340 absolutely so here we go all right glorious of macedon there we go right moving in i'm moving in

00:05:54.940 i don't know where rambler's station just troops i can see a couple are you already firing are those

00:05:58.940 your cretians that already have that range have they i don't know i swear something was firing at me

00:06:04.300 i don't know maybe something oh they're on the towers are firing what oh do they do they actually

00:06:09.180 have firing towers i don't know look at look at the golden ones okay it was my it was my juicy towers

00:06:16.860 that uh they actually have that i'm gonna zoom into these now and show the gloriousness of it all

00:06:26.380 it's a little it's a little ballista they have up there it's really cool when did that happen i don't

00:06:33.260 know is this what rambler's not enjoying this what's going on god the enemy is attacking our ally stand

00:06:44.700 firm warrior spot i will try i will try i will come to your aid oh it's attacking you as well now

00:06:51.180 so oh god rambler's got his flaming shot on well i don't think i'm even going to take down any towers 0.99

00:06:57.420 am i well you can i think it's a bit pointless you can try the ladders yeah i'd rather just kill your 0.97

00:07:04.620 archers though oh my god i think out of anything they're the more thing is we're in a bit of a 0.98

00:07:11.260 situation here we've got because rambler's sort of got his positioned his syrian arches on this wall

00:07:16.060 here they're finding across firing across down into you yeah yeah which is a exactly what i wanted 0.99

00:07:22.620 to happen although you're not really losing many at the minute are you oh oh come on kill them my

00:07:29.500 music was very low actually let's put my music back up a little bit you could have where we are

00:07:34.300 gonna have the music on for room two same here actually i'm i'm gonna i'm gonna do that right

00:07:39.820 now shake it's all right actually my best bit was probably to hold try and hold the walls

00:07:46.140 crap okay men up on the walls you go up when you're oh yeah could you probably hiding down in the

00:07:52.860 no no no brave songs of macedon that is and remains the best warshout in any total war game 0.99

00:08:00.940 yeah do your macedon rambler love it what use i love how you say macedon as well

00:08:06.460 macedon macedon glory to macedon run archers flee oh i can see yeah the golden one is at 0.58

00:08:16.780 the the walls now he's moving in he's moving in oh crap now i wish i had alexander here to lead

00:08:23.420 the way but let's do it in honor you just do it in his memory well you got one of them hello yeah i'm

00:08:29.500 anix yeah you're alex the rambler alex alex the great oh i see i see one of my shots on fire

00:08:39.180 these serial archers are getting yeah oh my god the thorax swords moving in there the golden one

00:08:46.060 is bringing them in now wonderful uh we're saying before we're going to be doing hopefully in the

00:08:52.460 one he's on a tiller so if we can then obviously we'll we'll make sure ramblers got a fair chance

00:08:59.340 a fairer chance yes i feel very bad for rambler now but he will fight on to the very death indeed

00:09:07.420 indeed but uh he will die with uh with honor and glory at least that's the great capital crumbles

00:09:13.820 before him the temples will fall to dust got my velites firing into your forex oh my god i can see

00:09:19.180 your army now what have you got here a praetorian guard here he comes he's bringing in the big guns

00:09:23.580 send in the praetorians yeah sons of aries i will capture a gate soon yeah good good good

00:09:34.860 danny yeah shield bearers they are not to be trifled with no heavy okay we're moving in

00:09:44.940 see ramblers gotta have a tricky situation because he's trying to find two fronts this is three

00:09:53.660 fronts three fronts yeah oh yeah that golden one's attacking from two golden one's gonna say

00:09:58.940 it's come from the other side as well glory to back it on now open the gates

00:10:06.620 okay what are you bringing around here always try oh yeah you're coming in now

00:10:09.820 well i've got the triarii because i thought they hold where they are good they're a good unit on this

00:10:16.140 game i like triarii a lot i'm just now admiring how my my troops are entering the city

00:10:24.300 it was a glorious moment oh look at this i can see them now they're coming in the shield bears are

00:10:28.860 moving in felities all right let's um our general is under attack let's move along the walls and help

00:10:39.820 to defeat this triarii come on come on oh epic clash epic clash i'm gonna zoom in on my screen here 1.00

00:10:48.300 to to see your little fighter awesome highly glorious just seeing rambler i think ramblers brought some

00:10:54.540 troops out the back door here they're fleeing ignore them they weren't flashing oh no

00:11:03.340 surprise the uh what's wrong i know i was just surprised that the golden one has got his general

00:11:15.900 so close to the action yeah he's pulling straight in now notice that he's not why i brought i brought

00:11:20.140 my pretorians like front and center to throw the peeler yeah but it didn't it didn't really work

00:11:25.420 all right all right i i noticed that well i won't have him oh look at that pretorians 1.00

00:11:34.620 wow no ready for you oh god he can bring i can see what golden one doing now ready himself

00:11:45.500 this is they're engaged wonderful oh nice one i can see what you've done here golden one you brought

00:11:53.020 across those units across to support the wall over here that's nice i like it oh i'm getting

00:11:56.860 sandwiched nice indeed indeed nice nice you've captured a tower we've captured a tower highly

00:12:03.980 glorious and now i'm just gonna try to swarm in with everything i got here wonderful

00:12:10.300 pretorians hold hold the line thorax swordsman

00:12:14.380 okay did you catch the gates the golden one or did you just move in or what oh yeah yeah i did i did

00:12:24.700 i love how the ladders have just been abandoned facing the wrong way they were redundant yeah they

00:12:34.380 were gone um i think you were looking forward to this battle weren't you warrior because you knew it

00:12:39.020 would just be a chance to beat me yeah because i i tend to lose against rambler especially in siege

00:12:46.380 battles it's uh it's this thing that usually happens oh yeah i see i see but uh i've got the golden one

00:12:54.380 on my side today yeah some some help from um from a good old macedon well our cavalry has engaged

00:13:03.100 outside the city of rome thinking about what we should do probably next time i should have put in

00:13:09.900 the larger army so you could have a 40 stack army couldn't you then oh yeah that would have been

00:13:15.020 better yeah that would have been a lot better yeah my men are holding kind of it will they will

00:13:26.300 oh quite love it oh no you got pipes i forgot about oh jesus i've held mine back and i'm gonna be

00:13:33.260 a good boy with them oh my god i'm zoomed in and i'm admiring the action here

00:13:41.020 the romans are fighting bravely i must admit though they are they're gonna fight for every inch of this

00:13:46.940 city the eternal city will not fall without a fight god definitely golden one's quite close to the

00:13:51.340 capture point already he's just like charged in oh my god he's gonna get all his general to have all the

00:13:55.580 glory dear god look at this it's uh i i pretend it's alexander who who is the general so he has

00:14:02.460 the lead from the from the front yeah this is wonderful i mean somebody should say yeah you're

00:14:07.980 doing well there the good one he's moving in beautifully it's uh oh thank you thank you it's

00:14:13.260 good it's good i do try i want to make a good impression oh it's my first appearance on on

00:14:21.180 uh yeah no in this format so next time yeah ram will have to have the advantages on this because

00:14:27.820 uh you know i like a good clean fair fight for him you kill my praetorians or are you 0.59

00:14:33.020 i don't think you're still working on it still still having a good game how's the cavalry battle going 0.54

00:14:37.500 slow slow oh the men are wavering where oh crikey i think that's your citizen cav isn't it no it's my 1.00

00:14:46.140 unit of spartan hoplites oh sweet praetorian god kill the bastards i'm just getting i'm just getting 0.99

00:14:54.060 tetchy now the battle is turning in our favor oh i'm losing ground battle is turning in our favor 0.99

00:15:00.220 oh my god glory to sus just a little bit how questions oh my praetorians are just fighting

00:15:08.620 to the death aren't they oh they will they will they are the elite aren't they oh my god my siege tower

00:15:13.980 is on fire now it is it is now they they are fighting like heroes i i see it right here awesome

00:15:22.060 god i love the the praetorians they look so cool it's a very quick question just off the off the

00:15:28.460 cuff here uh the golden one are you going to be getting witcher 3 by the way because i know you

00:15:31.740 like your sort of role-playing games you're going to be getting yeah speaking of that i actually started

00:15:36.540 playing the witcher 2 just like a few weeks back because uh for my twitch and i was really really

00:15:44.140 impressed by it yeah looking forward to the third one yeah it'll be good so i'll play the um

00:15:51.340 third yeah yeah finish the second one and then play the the third one really impressed oh god look at

00:15:58.060 this one could have been in the center here this is wonderful this is rumba fighting on to the death

00:16:02.940 here i don't want to look at it oh my god glory to macedon oh my god god this uh this was a rather

00:16:16.700 epic battle it was epic but i feel i feel for for rambler now i'm gonna we're gonna have to return the

00:16:22.060 favor next time on attila yeah we're gonna have to be oh i have to sacrifice them right you're taking

00:16:29.820 you're taking my citizen calf down with pretty emojis actually they have been slaughtered yeah it's 0.95

00:16:35.420 good that yeah yeah yeah it's basically the only thing i've done and now okay now they're raking

00:16:43.660 the triarii they they fought like lions yeah oh catch the gates oh my god storm storm the gates

00:16:58.620 so bring everyone i can back oh my god but yeah speaking of the witcher i was always so uh so

00:17:09.820 into skyrim so i didn't really look elsewhere for um it's an open world game like skyrim so i thought

00:17:15.020 you'd quite like that you see it's all open world which are three years so yeah it's all explore and

00:17:19.820 discover what you can yeah so yeah it's looking good that sounds highly glorious have you got rid of

00:17:30.300 your beard by the way no i i am um i'm caressing it as we speak actually lovely i'm i'm having it still

00:17:41.740 but uh i'll have to consult my fair maiden first all right at first she was very reluctant but then 0.62

00:17:49.660 she she's warmed to it actually she she like she likes it now lovely lovely lovely barely taking down

00:17:58.060 any of your spartans am i you're just walking away from them you're walking away from my syrians 0.83

00:18:02.300 oh god yeah i just didn't see they were there i'm about taking it across to deal with them oh no why

00:18:10.540 did i mention anything come into dentists come on dentists come on dentists come on dentists 0.79

00:18:21.100 this is ridiculous a thing i really like with attila is the the christian kind of war shouts it's yeah

00:18:27.020 it's so rare with like for god himself yeah because he's used to like for air race and for

00:18:32.540 suits but then it's like for god in heaven and yeah savior it's yeah it's good isn't it i'm thinking

00:18:39.020 about reverting to uh to the pagan um oh you wow with western roman a lot of people asked me to do

00:18:45.660 that and i don't think i could try for the challenge it's hard yeah oh where did you get what we're

00:18:53.420 close for god's sake wait where we're looking at just everywhere oh god

00:19:02.380 death and destruction has been brought to roam this day versus praetorian guard

00:19:08.460 this will be a grind for the ages and then we have even more no that's triarii 0.99

00:19:17.260 look at these praetorian god they are doing phenomenal though they're there yeah they

00:19:21.020 oh my god the blood everywhere it's just ridiculous glory to macadon uh it has been a bloody a blood 0.66

00:19:29.820 bath indeed bloody mess yeah yeah oh my cookies i love how you put your stakes there um yeah i thought 0.69

00:19:41.020 they'd try and hold you a little bit there it's more against cabaret that they could yeah

00:19:45.900 yeah so much blood going on right now yep my my general is actually might not take out might not

00:19:56.380 survive this ah no he fell he fell he fell has he yeah yes they killed him alexander has fallen

00:20:10.300 oh my god it was a worthy death so fighting is honest

00:20:18.620 i'm the new alexander now

00:20:22.060 that's one general down yeah yeah i don't think i'll be able to take out warriors

00:20:36.220 warriors

00:20:45.340 okay look at this circus maximus here beautiful

00:20:50.860 glorious let's get a charge on triarii

00:20:54.140 oh oh god and the spiritual out okay holding there

00:21:09.420 right now you're a toying guard jesus

00:21:12.940 yeah you don't mess with them no you don't do it yeah

00:21:15.820 our men flee the field of battle one's killed 206 men so far jesus everyone's killed 156

00:21:25.980 yeah i'm holding you are

00:21:29.900 this is a great combination in fact of battle stars here the fact that you know this elite praetorian guard

00:21:36.220 i'm trying to i mean on case of course they will do better in technically against the sword units you

00:21:42.300 know they will get better attack against the spears so you probably got an advantage there as well

00:21:49.260 yeah that's that's why that's that's what i was thinking yeah i also brought some triarii

00:21:54.060 just to kind of try and hold your spears in place in case i could have got around to flank or

00:22:00.220 anything like that but yeah i'm holding off your royal spartans oh god that's good because especially

00:22:05.580 the royal spartans my fair maiden gemma is i can smell she's cooking my food at the moment she's

00:22:12.220 his food for the guards food for the guards how wonderful what what i'm having garlic bread

00:22:20.700 and um pasta with uh lettuce lettuce like leek and bacon

00:22:26.460 uh that that sounds like a feast for the gods actually yeah would you would you recommend that

00:22:33.020 the golden one or would you say that's too much carbohydrates and no no carbohydrates are good i

00:22:38.140 mean it's a good good for for building size so uh i'd say that sounds like a good meal actually yeah

00:22:45.900 and uh garlic bread is um one of the one of the pleasures of life actually it's so uh i love it

00:22:53.340 it's just good in there it's good were you were you closely watching our elections last week

00:22:58.540 i know you quite like your politics uh yes i followed it a bit yeah uh actually and uh

00:23:06.060 i was quite satisfied with the with the results um actually yeah but i'm not that um familiar with

00:23:14.540 the with the election system per se so uh it's quite a complicated way in our country yeah i've heard

00:23:20.220 as much as well it's first past the post so it's yeah well whoever gets in the constituency whoever

00:23:26.620 gets the most votes gets the seat yeah so yeah it can be it's if it's sometimes a lot of people um

00:23:35.420 can sort of think it's not right and not fair but i don't know how we can do what i tried to do

00:23:42.220 what have you tried to do oh are you cavalry oh god that's why i set myself up on the bridge yeah

00:23:49.500 i had no like nothing else i couldn't do anything else with them really so you know

00:23:53.580 you're gonna try and do something that you see although the rest of my men are barely holding now

00:23:59.180 are they now uh now we got some macedonian pikemen to contend with jeez oh my gosh there's nothing i can 1.00

00:24:06.220 do a game back it on the thing is rambler loves pikemen he literally loves him when he's defending 0.96

00:24:11.500 he gets his pikemen bye i love pikemen as well actually in an opening and he's done 0.96

00:24:18.300 flip it now your praetorian guard are just flipping tanks rambler that you only see them on this right

00:24:23.660 left hand side they're just killing me not killing but they're just holding against like seven units of

00:24:28.220 hoplitaes it's unbelievable you haven't put them in pike formation no they're not these are not oh yeah 1.00

00:24:34.940 well they are actually god yeah these are my pipes aren't they god yeah i'll take my formation

00:24:39.420 attack see if that does anything actually there's a thin line my men are just desperately like help

00:24:45.340 help me i'm quite impressed by the triarii also yeah they're very good units they're very good

00:24:52.700 standing up to my thorax swordsman and impressed by that oh my god this is this is wonderful this is

00:25:01.660 like the the landscape the backdrop of the temples looking across at us oh yeah it is rather glorious

00:25:08.700 i think from under the guards like the the gods of olympus are watching their absolutely the sons from

00:25:15.260 greece the enemy have taken a tower the enemy has taken don't flee don't flee don't flee oh there we are

00:25:53.820 manlier i guess yeah and and hephaestion yeah because hephaestion was so um he wasn't aggressive

00:26:02.060 enough like in my in my view yeah he was very affectionate towards alexander in that one two things

00:26:07.900 yeah a bit a bit feminine almost yeah uh in the in the book god of war by christian cameron can

00:26:15.100 highly recommend that to everyone listening and watching yeah um there he is quite quite brutal and

00:26:22.540 uh brutal and bloody hephaestion is is in that and obviously alexander is um quite crazy also

00:26:31.580 yeah would you and you'd like to don't make it as a trilogy of films would you where he sort of

00:26:35.660 he sort of focused more on his life yeah basically everything since it's such a such a long life

00:26:44.060 yeah not really long but eventful life yeah exactly the stuff he did in egypt as well was pretty amazing

00:26:49.580 and yeah exactly so you kind of need um didn't he make himself fairer i think of e of egypt to think

00:26:54.860 uh yeah yeah i think i think that too not sure about the technicalities per se but yeah some sort of
