00:00:00.000 Greetings, Laddingtons. I'm checking in from Mirkwood with some important insights.
00:00:20.560 Or perhaps not. Perhaps this is just an encouragement. I just want to say that you
00:00:26.000 must stop drinking alcohol. Any arguments to the contrary are totally invalid.
00:00:34.000 So anyway, I want to congratulate everyone for participating and hopefully completing
00:00:40.560 NoFap or NoNotNovember. And since it is the 1st of December, Skadi hasn't blessed us with snow yet.
00:00:50.000 You have to go into the Temple of Iron and perform some repetitions in her honor,
00:00:54.960 So she will bless us with snow. But anyway, new month, new vise to push aside from your life.
00:01:05.360 You know, this is surprising to some and I find it absolutely disgusting.
00:01:10.640 But apparently there are adult humans who get drunk in the presence of children.
00:01:16.720 And apparently this can happen on Christmas. During Christmas.
00:01:24.160 You know, I am a great poet, of course. I've yet to release my collection of poems.
00:01:29.600 But it will happen one day, I assure you.
00:01:32.320 But even as a great poet I find it hard to put words on exactly how disgusting it is
00:01:40.000 for someone to get drunk in the presence of children. 0.96
00:01:43.520 I would rather shoot myself in the head than to ever let my daughter see me drunk.
00:01:49.680 And I won't be drunk again anyway, so it doesn't really matter. 0.99
00:01:54.480 I haven't been drunk for 10 years.
00:01:57.840 Absolutely glorious, if anything.
00:02:00.640 Now anyway, the rules are quite simple, as you might have discerned from the title.
00:02:06.160 Do not drink alcohol during this month.
00:02:10.080 And you can actually choose your difficulty level.
00:02:13.600 You have one difficulty level, which is to not drink any alcohol at all.
00:02:18.080 And the easier difficulty level is to not get drunk.
00:02:22.000 Now, a personal note on my relationship with alcohol.
00:02:25.840 It's never been problematic or anything.
00:02:27.840 Just, you know, a regular teenage guy drinking, getting drunk with his mates.
00:02:33.520 You know, so nothing special there.
00:02:35.600 My hostility towards alcohol during later years have more been because of, you know,
00:02:43.200 historical insights or insights into society and how much damage alcohol has cost over the centuries.
00:02:53.920 For any woman who's watching this, if you...
00:02:57.840 I don't think any one of you would label yourself a feminist.
00:03:01.520 But if you are, you know, if you analyze history from a female perspective, 0.99
00:03:08.880 the greatest curse on females is probably male drunkenness. 0.91
00:03:14.800 So, if you are a woman today, yeah, it can be a good idea to also push back against alcohol.
00:03:21.280 If there is anything that has been rough and hard for women over all these years,
00:03:26.720 except for, of course, childbirth, etc.
00:03:29.520 But in terms of having a stable relationship and family, yeah, alcohol has been a curse.
00:03:35.760 And I would most definitely not want my daughter to end up with a guy who has, you know, likes alcohol, to put it mildly.
00:03:45.680 In the culture, I want to create alcohol as something for, you know, it's an outdated relic, not fit to live on.
00:03:54.880 So, that's my own view on it.
00:03:57.680 And someone might say, oh, it's a European tradition.
00:04:00.960 Yeah, getting invaded by Islamic forces is also a European tradition.
00:04:06.240 Doesn't mean we need to keep it absolutely detrimental to everything that is good.
00:04:14.000 Then, of course, you can drink alcohol.
00:04:17.600 I'm not an absolutist.
00:04:19.520 Every once in a while, I can have a beer containing alcohol or a glass of wine containing alcohol,
00:04:25.040 but never ever would I get drunk.
00:04:28.800 So, that is my wisdom for the day.
00:04:31.920 And if you do want to participate in No Drink December, just comment below in,
00:04:36.560 and then you will see a lot of comments, and then you will feel the urge to participate yourself.
00:04:42.880 It's the only reasonable course of action to do, so...
00:04:47.280 So, join!
00:04:48.080 And if you even think about drinking on Christmas in the presence of children...
00:04:55.360 Well, we're on YouTube, so I won't say too much, but I'm sure you will understand how I feel about you.
00:05:00.160 It comes as a surprise when I hear about these humans behaving in this way.
00:05:09.360 Absolutely, yeah, I don't even know.
00:05:11.520 I don't, I can't put words into the, just thinking about it.
00:05:17.200 But anyway, I don't want to blackfill anyone, so I will leave it at that. 0.92
00:05:22.080 Thank you for watching, XXO. Boom!
00:05:25.280 Now, a last note before Christmas, if you want to place an order on Legio Gloria,
00:05:30.880 which I definitely suggest that you do, otherwise your family will be deeply disappointed.
00:05:39.520 I can't say for sure if you will receive your package for Christmas if you order today,
00:05:45.120 because the shipping times are so irregular.
00:05:47.760 But if you are in Europe, you can definitely still order.
00:05:50.400 If you're in Germany or Sweden, you can wait a week extra or so.
00:05:53.760 But otherwise, for all European customers, I would say today or tomorrow or something
00:05:58.400 will be the last day to place an order.
00:06:02.240 So, do it! Check it out!
