The Golden One - The Primordial Beast. Thumos. A Force of Nature.

00:00:00.000 Hello Laddingtons! I'm checking in from half-frozen Scandinavia. I'm checking in

00:00:09.760 with some important insights. So as you might have seen, if you follow me on

00:00:15.200 Instagram, youtonamenutrition, and Telegram just released the Primordial

00:00:21.660 Beasts Treasure, which I thought was an epic name for the product. And I thought

00:00:28.040 to talk a bit about the concept of the Primordial Beast. Talk a bit about

00:00:34.500 testosterone, thumos, and the primordial spirit that lives inside all or, well,

00:00:46.220 most men. It should live within most men. But before I begin to talk about the 0.85

00:00:51.140 actual concept, I would just like to talk briefly about the product at hand. You

00:00:57.080 know, I have declined quite a few offers of sponsorships as of late, so I at least

00:01:03.500 want to promote my own products. So, basically, the Primordial Beasts Treasure,

00:01:10.220 it's not something you absolutely need. You know, I talked about it's mandatory to

00:01:14.540 read Dauntless. It absolutely is, you should read it. But the products, so

00:01:19.880 Varulvsbryggd, Werewolf Brew, it's a pre-workout product. You know, if you don't take it, it's

00:01:25.640 absolutely not something you need. You don't need a pre-workout product to get jacked. For

00:01:30.500 me, it's a pleasure of life, just the same as coffee. You know, you can live without coffee,

00:01:34.880 no issue whatsoever. You can also train and make great gains without a pre-workout. So if

00:01:41.880 you're short of, so if you are short on cash, don't spend money on it. But if you want something

00:01:47.400 extra to enhance your training experience, yeah, by all means you can try out Werewolf Brew. I take

00:01:55.640 it myself before every training. Now, at least every gym session when I can train a bit earlier in the

00:02:01.000 day. If I train some grappling or something that's later in the evening, I don't take it. And also, I

00:02:07.320 don't need to hype myself up as much before a martial arts session. Then we have Glycine Goblin. You 0.99

00:02:14.440 can have, you can take a scoop of Glycine before bed. Experience, maybe, experience some nice dreams

00:02:21.560 or just some deeper sleep. Again, this is not something you need. You know, the best sleep

00:02:27.640 comes from, you know, taking care of your overall life. So have solid sleep routines. But I've made a

00:02:35.560 video on sleep before. But Glycine can be good to relax the nervous system and help you sleep deeper.

00:02:43.080 Then, of course, Zinc and Vitamin D. Vitamin D I do definitely recommend that you take during this

00:02:50.600 time of year when you can't access so much sun. And then, of course, Zinc can be used to

00:02:57.080 optimize your immune system and redress a low testosterone. So anyway, if you're interested,

00:03:03.320 also a good way to support me, support the channel. First link in the description box below for all

00:03:09.160 Americans. First time you can use Jürtenheim nutrition supplements. So yeah, go ahead and check it out.

00:03:17.960 Now, first and foremost, we have something called thumos. And I will paraphrase 0.99

00:03:24.120 the late and great French historian Dominic Venner. When he, in an interview, I have shared this

00:03:34.840 quote before because it's so epic. So this is the best description of what thumos is, in my view at least.

00:03:44.040 Some people might disagree, but you know, it's a it's a Greek word. It's a Greek concept. And thumos,

00:03:49.160 and I quote, is the need for glory that pulls men up to the height of gods.

00:03:58.120 Originally in French, of course. But that is a good description of what thumos is.

00:04:06.760 The need for glory that pulls men up to the height of gods.

00:04:10.760 And of course you can translate thumos into other things as well. You know, an aggressive yearn for 0.99

00:04:21.320 recognition and a masculine innate desire to fight or to fight for something. It doesn't have to be a

00:04:29.640 physical fight, but it is connected. And it's also, I'm going off on a tangent here. I am just out in nature

00:04:38.760 talking some philosophy. I'm not a priest. I am not of that caste. But if I'm just thinking about it,

00:04:49.480 it's similar to how Thor is in Norse mythology. You know, you have Tyr, which is the god of war.

00:04:58.840 Thor is not a god of war, but he has martial prowess anyway. He has something else. He's a protector.

00:05:05.160 He symbolizes male strength. And also, I would say, thumos. So that's an interesting comparison. 0.93

00:05:15.960 If you have something that isn't quite related to war, but it is there anyway. And of course the

00:05:23.640 biological component, I would say, is testosterone. So Thor, as I see it, is a god of testosterone.

00:05:31.880 The primordial beast, I would say, translated into a hormone or something, you know, a material thing,

00:05:40.440 would also be testosterone. And also, of course, another concept which you have stumbled upon if

00:05:46.040 you have read Dauntless is the primordial truth, which is basically the biological reality that underpins

00:05:54.040 everything. So it's the teachings or the laws of Mother Nature herself.

00:06:01.640 Now, anyway, finally, let's get on to the actual topic of the primordial beast.

00:06:09.480 Who or what is the primordial beast? Yes, it is a sensation. And if you have it within you,

00:06:17.240 that sensation, you of course want to make the presence as strong as possible. It should be there,

00:06:24.120 but due to the modern world, the primordial beast within us, it's very dormant. And I will take one

00:06:34.200 example to explain this in the best possible way. You know, I always talk about porn because it's such a

00:06:40.520 pervasive thing in our society. You know, all guys have watched porn. Many guys have been addicted.

00:06:48.600 Many guys have been addicted for a long time. And when you have watched a lot of porn,

00:06:56.280 and you're then intimate with a woman, it will be harder for you to let the primordial beast take

00:07:03.880 control. And I do feel a bit awkward here talking about intimate matters in front of a large audience

00:07:12.040 on YouTube, but it's important. So I need to do it. I need to overcome the sense of awkwardness. I need

00:07:19.800 to do it to save your soul. Okay, not save your soul, but to help you reignite your primordial beast within.

00:07:29.000 Now, of course, the optimal scenario when being intimate with a woman is to not think. It's to just 0.99

00:07:37.320 be, to just act. That will result in the highest ecstasy of intimacy. Now, if you have watched a lot of

00:07:47.000 porn, you will probably not be so easily lost in yourself. And you know, sometimes the right place,

00:07:57.240 right time, it's a good idea to completely lose yourself in the moment. Intimacy with a woman is 0.98

00:08:05.560 such a case. But if you have watched a lot of porn, you will actively think about it. You will actively

00:08:12.920 think about what should be done. Because if you watched a lot of porn, you might have seen, you know,

00:08:19.240 they're going through the motions. Now they have a position here. Now they do this. Now they do that.

00:08:27.640 And instead of thinking, you must just act. You must just be. And I know this sounds a bit, you know,

00:08:36.680 hippie nonsense etc. But I'm trying to make a point. So you have on one end of the spectrum the complete

00:08:42.840 immersion of the moment. The primordial beast takes control of you. Just letting you

00:08:50.200 be in the moment. You have him or it here. On the other side, you have your calculating brain,

00:08:57.960 which is very present, which do not, which does not allow you to be immersed in the moment.

00:09:04.680 So you can think of it like this. If you have a porn addiction, it detracts from the

00:09:12.360 ability of the primordial beast to completely take control, and thus lowering your pleasure of sex. 0.97

00:09:19.800 To put it bluntly. Excuse my crudeness, but I need to talk about it to make the point.

00:09:27.480 Another point I would like to mention. I've talked about it before. I'll talk about it again.

00:09:34.840 I mention it quite often. I say you must become a force of nature.

00:09:40.040 It's one of these things it's hard to describe exactly what it is. Same thing with the actual

00:09:46.840 topic at hand. I'm not quite sure how to formulate it. So this video, I'm just trying to

00:09:54.200 get you to think about it at least. I can't give you the complete answer, but I can give you

00:10:01.320 a sense of which direction to look in. So when I say you should become a force of nature, it's

00:10:08.280 a sensation within you, which I've had a good few times in my life, and it's absolutely amazing,

00:10:15.800 to be honest. It's a sensation within you that you're just so full of power. You feel like

00:10:21.640 a volcano ready to explode or something epic at least. Some force of nature. Unstoppable.

00:10:36.200 It's similar to the sensation of the primordial beast as well. And you can get this

00:10:40.520 when you lift heavy in the gym. Deadlifts, for example. You know, you pull a very heavy weight,

00:10:50.040 and it doesn't matter the actual weight. It's heavy for you. You achieve a new best in the gym.

00:10:57.560 That is what counts. That you overcome yourself. And you feel the rush of accomplishment. You feel the

00:11:06.920 primordial spirit within you. The primordial beast coming to the fore, helping you.

00:11:12.200 Just urging you to get the weight up. Urging you to overcome yourself. And once you have become

00:11:19.640 acquainted with the primordial beast, it will be easier to get that sensation, get that sensation

00:11:28.840 more times. And that's also, I would say, one of the reasons going to the gym is so addicting,

00:11:36.040 if you do it the right way. When you constantly overcome yourself, and you have that sensation of

00:11:41.240 raw power within you, that's also the primordial beast. So you have in the bedchamber, you can feel its

00:11:48.840 presence, taking control. When you do a deadlift and give everything you have, you can also feel

00:11:55.880 the presence of the primordial beast. Now, of course, this is, you know, a spiritual talk, but

00:12:02.360 there is also, of course, some biology that goes into it. Talking about testosterone. If you want to

00:12:10.680 optimize your testosterone, and thus also optimizing the chances of your primordial beast to be

00:12:16.200 present within you, you, of course, have to look at your lifestyle. Do you sleep enough? Do you get

00:12:26.760 out in nature enough? Do you train? Do you eat well? Do you eat a lot of fats? Do you eat a lot of

00:12:32.280 good, wholesome food? Or do you not? Are you a new male who views everything as a joke? Do you not take

00:12:44.760 care of yourself? Yeah, then the primordial beast will probably not bless you with his presence. But if

00:12:51.320 you try to live in a way that allows for your primordial beast to have a presence within you,

00:12:56.120 you, yeah, he will come to the fore more often. And it will feel good for you, I promise you,

00:13:02.120 when you have that sensation. And of course, I say the primordial beast because it sounds epic.

00:13:08.360 I'm sure a lot of guys know exactly what I'm talking about, but they have another word for it and

00:13:13.240 another concept. So there's nothing, so there is nothing really new I'm talking about here. It's nothing,

00:13:18.840 no revolutionary new insight. It's just I'm putting an epic word on an epic feel, an epic sensation.

00:13:27.800 That is what I'm doing here. And again, I'm trying to motivate you into living such a lifestyle because

00:13:35.080 it is a good, very rewarding lifestyle. And when I see guys who are, shall we say, unfit to have a strong,

00:13:43.720 primordial beastly presence. It breaks my heart. You know, when I see someone in his face, I see he's

00:13:52.840 not well. It breaks my heart because I know that guy could have lived a happier and healthier and

00:13:59.160 freer life. A life more fulfilling and in touch with our primordial roots. So anyway, thank you for

00:14:08.440 bearing with me as I rambled on. I don't know if any of it made any sense at all, but there you have

00:14:15.160 it. If you ask what is or who is the primordial beast, then of course you want to visualize how

00:14:23.960 he might look. This picture, any high testosterone mythological beast can be a werewolf, a minotaur,

00:14:31.080 anything really. So yeah, that is my insights for the day. So there are a lot of topics and they

00:14:43.160 always end up with the same answer, what to do. So again, I repeat myself. I know I always say it,

00:14:50.760 but I have to repeat myself because I know it's still so common. So stop watching porn,

00:14:56.920 go to the gym, make sure to sleep, make sure to eat in a good way.

00:15:04.440 So, thank you for watching. XOXO BOOM!
