The Golden One - Q&A. Which European Gods to Honour？ Greece and Macedonia Name Conflict？ Book Recommendations？

00:00:00.000 Greetings. Today a high elf prince larping as a dark elf rogue will bestow some wisdom upon you 1.00

00:00:07.820 all and will start with a question regarding the gods. Golden one, I have a question that perhaps

00:00:15.180 you can answer. As a man who tries to follow the native faith of our ancestors I am vexed regarding

00:00:20.640 the question of loyalty. My heritage is mostly germanic but with some northern italian and swiss

00:00:27.540 italian and some celtic. I have to ask is a person of mixed european ancestry to choose which gods

00:00:35.160 and ancestors to honor or should the pantheons of all my ancestors be included? I consider myself

00:00:42.080 I have considered myself a germanic pagan for about four years now and loki has always been my guy

00:00:47.120 but I cannot ignore my ancestors from other parts of our continent. I suspect there are others in

00:00:54.360 this day of mass transportation, the european diaspora and the schengen area who are in similar

00:01:00.000 situations. With strength and wisdom rook takes knight. Now first and foremost before I answer this

00:01:09.860 I view the gods and mythology more in a cultural sense than a strictly spiritual sense so if someone

00:01:18.380 with a more purely spiritual sense is watching this take it for what it is it's just my perspective

00:01:24.760 I use european mythology as a driving force as inspiration and motivation to push the pace to set

00:01:31.960 the pace high so that is my unique perspective on this question and what I would say is that first and

00:01:40.380 foremost when looking at many european mythologies the gods are quite the same so if we have thor in norse

00:01:47.660 mythology and perun in slavic mythology it's kind of the same god and

00:01:52.600 you know very similar and I'm sure you can find more similarities between

00:01:57.160 more european mythologies but to give an answer I would definitely and this is something I do

00:02:03.180 now as well I like the greek gods for example and I think celtic mythology is really cool even though I'm

00:02:09.520 you know nordic and norse mythology is my main thing and

00:02:13.260 odin and thor I'm 50 50 behind them uh they they are my main guys but then obviously as I've said

00:02:19.980 before if we're talking about loki can invoke loki by doing some trolling by trolling some beta leftist

00:02:26.040 for example and if you do something with martial endeavors you can do that in honor of tyr or mars or

00:02:33.380 rs etc so you can have minor gods uh by the side of your main gods and this is the beauty I'd say of

00:02:43.260 paganism as opposed to christianity because in christianity one of the key commandments is that

00:02:49.780 you shall not have other gods at the side of your main god and uh that's a bit boring to me so I go with

00:02:56.180 um you know several gods that can be invoked for different reasons and uh if I were you yeah I would

00:03:03.700 have a main guy have loki as your main guy but then you can also honor and uh read up on the mythology

00:03:09.580 of your other ancestors so that is basically what I would do and yet again I view this in a cultural

00:03:16.560 sense and in my own work I've made the last wild hunt challenge I made was um the mars challenge in

00:03:22.740 honor of mars but it can also be tyr or other martial gods in european mythology so to conclude I would

00:03:31.940 definitely read up on the myths of all the gods and draw inspiration from them and then you can have

00:03:38.860 your main deity which you align with but yeah draw strength from many different things and the same

00:03:45.680 thing if we're talking about history in general you can have a main era which you find inspiring

00:03:51.920 so perhaps you as um for all swedish guys who are watching this some guys might think the vikings were

00:03:58.060 cool and want to model themselves to be a viking adventurer in the modern world or perhaps someone

00:04:04.060 want to draw inspiration from carl von linné and be more scientific some wants to be a carolean

00:04:12.160 soldier etc so but that doesn't mean that you need to neglect other eras of history anyway rambling

00:04:20.140 long story short use many sources of motivation and inspiration and european mythology is so rich so

00:04:29.140 there is plenty of motivations to be had next question actually a related one after listening

00:04:36.580 to your latest video on christianity and paganism i wanted to ask what you would consider the proper

00:04:41.520 spiritual path for someone who wishes to connect more with their ancestral pagan roots there's a lot of

00:04:48.060 wishy-washy new age bullshit when you look up pagan groups especially in the u.s um yeah definitely 1.00

00:04:56.160 it is there is a lot of heresy going on but that's just the um that's the case in the kali yuga in the 0.96

00:05:02.280 modern world um i can recommend survive the jive i think he is good and then obviously read the old

00:05:08.220 sagas that's the best bet in my humble view at least go directly to the old stories and you don't need to

00:05:15.920 necessarily be in a group either to express your spirituality but first step i would say is read

00:05:23.360 up on it then again as i said in the previous question i am not viewing this primarily as

00:05:29.360 spiritual but more cultural so reading up on it is at least the first step so perhaps not the most

00:05:35.200 deep answer you've ever heard on this channel but that would be my take on a situation at least

00:05:41.140 my friend how close are you to finishing your book would you consider publishing an audiobook of

00:05:46.720 it alongside it so i can listen to your glorious voice um the book question i have been so

00:05:54.580 extremely busy as of late there's so much things that have been going on uh very glorious things

00:06:01.480 which i will update you all on in in due time but a lot of glorious things going on indeed uh but when

00:06:09.800 they are settled and probably when the autumn comes i will have the time and uh you know focus to

00:06:15.660 just get the book done and then hopefully either late this year or very early next year but i aim to

00:06:21.840 have everything completely set at the end of the year so then i can just release it in the beginning of

00:06:27.220 next year uh so that's the book update and yes i do indeed intend to release an audiobook

00:06:35.800 version of the book itself so that you can listen to my soothing voice when you embark upon your

00:06:43.820 wisdom walks next question do you have any plans to do more challenge videos they really helped to

00:06:49.960 motivate me because getting direct orders from our glorious lion gave me a direct sense of

00:06:55.360 accountability and got me into a lot of good habits working out reading etc also as i'm a book

00:07:02.300 addict do you have any new book recommendations um thank you very much it um warms my heart to

00:07:08.960 hear that you can draw inspiration from the challenge videos and that's exactly what i aim to do with these

00:07:14.660 challenges that you have something direct you know direct instructions to do and yes there will be a

00:07:20.320 wild hunt summer challenge i am still in the process of finalizing the details so it's a good um

00:07:27.960 good challenge that is uh doable and that makes sense and that is uh appropriate in this particular

00:07:34.420 moment in time and then as for book recommendations i have plenty of them and i will make a separate

00:07:41.160 video on this later on but survive the economic collapse by piero san giorgio is uh very good very

00:07:49.100 much recommend that indeed so to just mention one book definitely uh and then also i haven't read all of

00:07:56.300 it i've read half of it that's a fascist odyssey by carrie bolton uh he writes about jocky and uh his

00:08:04.960 um metapolitical work extremely interesting book but i will make a separate video or instagram post when

00:08:11.620 i've actually finished that so yeah as i said i've only read half of it now why doesn't the imperium

00:08:17.860 nuke xenos scum from orbit instead of larping with swords

00:08:21.540 well if you have a planet with a lot of natural resources etc you can't nuke it because then you 0.85

00:08:28.640 might lose the said resources or it might be the case that there are human populations there

00:08:34.500 it might be plenty of reasons to not want to nuke a place so that would be my answer to that without

00:08:42.100 knowing the will of the emperor beloved by all if you traveled from the temple of iron for a month

00:08:48.340 what exercises would you do to stay juicy a lot of push-ups so you can just do 10 by 10 every day

00:08:55.280 push-ups that will not get you juicy but it will maintain some at least so i would definitely respond

00:09:01.940 push-ups last question what is your opinion on the greece and macedonia name issue does one country

00:09:12.480 have the right to change another's name how will this affect the great battle between europeans and

00:09:17.700 incoming flood of invaders um well i am as a firm friend of greece i am obviously on the greek side

00:09:28.020 in that name conflict and i based it upon just looking at where the ancient macedonian kingdom was

00:09:33.860 and that's in modern day greece so i view it a bit heretical perhaps for the macedonians to have

00:09:40.580 taken that name but i don't see it as a major issue but for the record i'm just on the greek side there

00:09:46.900 but then again like european infighting at this particular moment in time is something i want to

00:09:52.220 disavow completely so if you are uh from the state of macedon or if you are from greece uh please be

00:10:00.340 nice to each other and focus on the issue at hand and the issue at hand is that europe's native population

00:10:05.800 is being slowly but surely replaced and that is the main issue and not a name so thank you all of my

00:10:15.220 glorious supporters for the questions and i hope you derived some wisdom from this video at least

00:10:21.060 and who am i the great angel xxo boom

00:10:25.240 and who am i the great angel xxo boom
