The Golden One - The Golden One Q&A of Enlightenment April 2020

00:00:00.000 absolutely thick and juicy if i may be so bold welcome to the patreon and subscribe star q a

00:00:12.400 i will try to get in as many questions as possible so here we go first question from

00:00:18.080 my man irish steel you mentioned in your last video that you do not like julius caesar but

00:00:24.740 what are your thoughts on my favorite roman emperor aurelian god bless yeah that was a

00:00:32.320 glorious man and first and foremost aurelian and marcus aurelius is two different heroic emperors

00:00:39.000 i got a bit confused in the beginning before i read up on both of them so basically aurelian

00:00:43.680 was an emperor during the crisis of the third century where rome was beset with problems on

00:00:51.500 all sides basically the persians the sanids in the east the goths in the north and internal

00:00:59.240 turmoil so the empire actually split up in three different empires at one stage but aurelian he

00:01:05.260 he restored order so to speak and he was a worshiper of sol invictus so the unconquered sun i might make

00:01:16.740 a separate video on that later on because it's quite interesting especially since that at the time it

00:01:21.300 was a competing religion with christianity so yeah more about roman emperors in coming videos we can

00:01:28.060 learn a lot from them next question from alex dear golden one i've recently been considering the link

00:01:35.040 between folklore and nationalism and the importance it plays in instilling mysticism and a genuine love

00:01:42.440 of nature within kids is this something in your opinion that needs to be emphasized more

00:01:48.040 folklore folklore folklore for children in order to establish a solid bedrock of spiritual and cultural

00:01:53.380 values yes most definitely i think this is super important to get a good sense of you know where

00:02:02.640 you belong your relationship with your heritage your relationship with nature you know in swedish

00:02:09.100 folklore we have a lot of trolls um fairies elves etc and you connect that quite a lot with the

00:02:16.500 forests you have troll forests troll skog for example and uh you know growing up that it made everything a 1.00

00:02:24.020 bit more yeah as you say mystical then of course you grew up with tales of your mythology it creates a

00:02:31.440 better childhood in my view so i will definitely read a lot of fairy tales to to our children so yes

00:02:40.440 definitely i agree there next question is from rasmus i answered that question in length in the previous

00:02:47.920 video in regards to the future of europe but he also asks what will your next book be about my next book

00:02:55.520 will be a sort of like cultural and political review of other books events etc so basically a bit more

00:03:02.880 political and cultural than dauntless so yeah i'm currently writing that and i will keep you all

00:03:08.660 updated more but it will hopefully be out next year from chris do you follow strongman competitions

00:03:15.600 and would you want to participate in one i have participated in a student strongman competition which i won

00:03:22.620 but um let's take a look at my physiology

00:03:25.740 so you see my waist isn't really made for strongman i mean i'm a decently tall and muscular guy but i'm

00:03:36.860 not a giant and you need to be a giant to compete seriously in strongman and you know if i were to bulk up

00:03:44.840 to get stronger i would lose some you know speed and dexterity that is good in martial arts and i would

00:03:51.780 lose some some aesthetics so it's not suitable for my overall goal which is of course to post physique

00:03:58.480 in order to replace the corrupt regime of the west but i do enjoy watching strongman though but you know

00:04:05.460 i don't have the physiology for it because you need to be um a giant to to compete seriously in it

00:04:12.540 from steven i like watching you fight adherents of the frankfurt school in your videos any chance that

00:04:19.920 you will make more of that style of video um well i sort of came to the conclusion that politics is

00:04:27.900 biology basically and the people who are leftists they are that because of biology not because of

00:04:35.320 any any argument i can present the only thing i can do if i want to convert a leftist is to say you

00:04:41.120 know what shape up step up get into the gym start taking care of yourself and then everything else

00:04:46.300 will fall into place so if i want to convert leftists yeah i have to post physique i have to

00:04:52.920 show them self-improvement then their biology will change enough for their for their minds to change

00:05:00.200 so that is the way next question from phipps do you think that the current economic collapse

00:05:07.760 caused by the coronavirus will trigger a new massive wave of immigration into europe no one seems to be

00:05:14.440 concerned about this brutal black bill i mean in regards to the mass immigration is business as

00:05:20.100 usual nothing really changes they um will keep on coming so um yeah i don't have any particular

00:05:26.620 analysis in regards to that hopefully people will start seeing that you know we don't have unlimited

00:05:33.160 amount of resources that we can spend on uh people that yeah frankly do not belong here so um yeah

00:05:40.800 from patrick i read your book and thought if you could elaborate on something as a swedish citizen

00:05:47.020 should i support the swedish church as in paying church tax this is a tough question i have certainly

00:05:55.360 meditated quite a lot upon it because after all i like churches and they do some good work but for me

00:06:01.320 i exited the swedish church two years ago because they were frankly too anti-swedish they didn't

00:06:09.020 represent guys like me in the least you know young swedish men uh they are preoccupied with 1.00

00:06:17.340 you know supporting the establishment supporting the population replacement so it's not something i can

00:06:22.840 give my money to in good conscience and no i wouldn't recommend anyone else to do it either

00:06:27.740 you know some guys say we can transform the church politics we can take it over from the inside but

00:06:34.560 i don't think that will work but um who knows anyway for me personally i exited the swedish church

00:06:41.760 i don't want to pay taxes to them because of their anti-swedish agenda next question from joseph

00:06:47.600 golden one as of right now i'm almost done with my time in the u.s army and while i have a plan to keep

00:06:53.640 training and already have a job lined up the one thing that i'm the one thing that i'm not used to is the fact

00:06:59.460 that this has been my life for the last three years and it is weird going from military lifestyle

00:07:05.180 to a civilian lifestyle and wondering how you handled your time transitioning out so first

00:07:11.440 foremost i was only there for one year so it might be harder if you've been there for three years but

00:07:16.920 a fun little anecdote i had a mate who got out half a year before me and he said to me like you will

00:07:24.280 miss it uh the very week after and yeah he was sort of right because you have your routines so

00:07:29.880 ingrained in you but basically it's just occupy yourself with something productive you know you

00:07:35.400 already have the discipline you have the discipline of waking up at a certain hour you have the

00:07:39.280 discipline of training so for me i started training really hard in the gym directly it was going out

00:07:45.100 from the military in december then starting training in the gym really hard a few weeks after and that's

00:07:52.120 how i got into it then of course if you already have a job it's all good one problem though can be if

00:07:58.440 you if you miss the male camaraderie that's something i missed quite a lot because it is a bit different

00:08:04.920 especially since i was a student you didn't really get the same male camaraderie in student circles as

00:08:11.620 you got in the army so that was a bit hard for me but um just you know try to find another place where you

00:08:17.140 can get the same sort of camaraderie easier said than done but yeah you got this next question

00:08:23.740 from dustin i think much of the defective behavior we see in men today has its origin in the failure of

00:08:29.320 fathers to teach their son the true ways if it's not too personal i'd like to know about your father's

00:08:35.680 role in the cultivation of your own character and your thoughts on fatherhood in general yeah i would be

00:08:41.480 completely lost without my father of course from a different generation so we have a few different

00:08:46.680 perspective of things but yeah super important for me at least as i said i would be lost without him

00:08:52.220 especially in my younger years so then of course some things you have to learn for yourself that's

00:08:57.800 why you perhaps need a mentor because your father might not be able to see all perspectives that are

00:09:03.340 needed so in my view you should have a good father and also some sort of mentor that can be a bit

00:09:09.460 closer in age to you so he has a different perspective upon your time because if a father

00:09:15.860 has grown up with a completely different world it can be hard to relate but otherwise broadly speaking

00:09:24.400 yeah i think fathers are supremely important and i will try to be the best father i can be and i will

00:09:30.100 also try to you know expose my children to other positive male role models that might be closer in age

00:09:37.180 to them um so they can have a bit more you know know what's going on in their lives etc

00:09:43.580 but yeah super important fatherhood next question from my man balder greetings golden one it is good

00:09:51.380 to see you keeping your cool during this global pandemic showing some stoicism during these times

00:09:57.460 of crisis can often can often help others feel at ease since the lockdown began i felt that this was a

00:10:04.540 great opportunity to work on some self-improvement i've always found your wild hunt challenges to be

00:10:10.080 a good call to action however due to being at home all the time i find myself slipping into some bad

00:10:16.720 unproductive habits what tips do you have to stay motivated and disciplined when working from home

00:10:22.440 how do you plan your day so that you're more likely to achieve your goals it's actually quite similar

00:10:29.280 to how it usually is in regards to training you can check out the neck training i did i try to do it every day

00:10:36.160 um i also posted on on patreon the physique manifactorum a um shoulder workout etc so i used to try to do that

00:10:43.720 and i can go outside as well so i have the option of doing hill sprints etc and um you know walks

00:10:50.920 but in regards to staying on track with being productive i have this fine notebook where i

00:10:57.880 as i said in the last wild hunter is write down whatever i'm supposed to do and then take it off

00:11:02.920 at the end of the day um that's how i do it that's how i stay on track with um whatever i need to do

00:11:09.900 so um you just view it as an opportunity to be more productive with the things you can be more productive

00:11:16.900 with so you know i've trained a lot of neck as of late you can see my toad like neck gains

00:11:23.920 because i've had the opportunity to do so you can also focus a bit more on getting your sleep in

00:11:30.060 getting into a good sleep routine um all of these sort of things so view it as the opportunity to do

00:11:36.760 the things you wouldn't normally have so much time for so now i have more time to you know write on

00:11:43.700 my next book i also have more time to train my neck etc you can do stretches as well i made a stretch

00:11:51.600 routine video last year so yeah you can check out that and you know just focus on the things you

00:11:57.260 usually don't really have the time for because you're in the gym or mma or something next question

00:12:02.760 from inter ruinas what do you think about the physical education in the schools of your country

00:12:07.480 would you include in the curriculum activities such as calisthenic weightlifting martial arts etc

00:12:12.920 yes most definitely when my gallant disciples will get into power that's definitely one of the

00:12:20.420 changes we will make i think it's absolutely ridiculous to have students sitting down basically

00:12:26.380 all day and then they come home sit down to play video games or whatever the primary function in my

00:12:33.580 view of schools is to socialize and then also to get some physical education again you will be better

00:12:39.720 when you are in your 20s if you have you know spent an active childhood rather than that you've learned

00:12:46.680 some some other sort of knowledge that you won't really have any use for so for me personally if i

00:12:55.460 got to be in charge of the school system i would increase the level of physical activity to at least

00:13:00.480 one hard training session each day and that will also help them understand topics such as math

00:13:07.060 better it's not easy to concentrate if you are a child to sit down all the time you have plenty of

00:13:12.980 energy you just want to bounce around play and then you have to sit down to focus on some something

00:13:18.800 boring but if you have gotten out the energy into some sports or play or whatever you will be better

00:13:25.060 able to sit down and focus so you have this adhd that children are being diagnosed with i think it's

00:13:33.280 you know questionable i think these children should just go out and do some sports instead

00:13:39.780 next question from ian greetings what are your thoughts on corporal discipline with children i've

00:13:46.560 heard very persuasive arguments against it but my own experience as a child and a parent suggests

00:13:51.480 that it has its place especially with boys contrary to what we are being presented with i found that as a

00:13:59.120 boy and while i was in the military physical forms of discipline reinforce hierarchy and subordinate

00:14:05.240 actually feel better when they're being put in their pot when they're being put in their proper place

00:14:11.080 i actually don't know enough about it to comment but it is an interesting and important topic

00:14:18.240 definitely reinforcing hierarchy is supremely important that is something we can establish at least

00:14:24.400 both in terms of you know children and in terms of military hierarchy needs to be in place otherwise

00:14:29.700 you have chaos otherwise you don't really know what's up and it's not good for anyone but in

00:14:35.180 regards to corporal punishment i yeah i don't know enough at this moment to comment upon it but i will

00:14:41.620 definitely read up on the subject next question from dylan greetings from ireland i have a training

00:14:47.760 related question for you what are your thoughts on crossfit styles of training i don't necessarily train

00:14:53.700 in a crossfit style but i do enjoy some of their barbell workout workouts that work strength and

00:14:59.280 endurance i know you mostly train mma for cardio but otherwise do you have any specific cardio workouts

00:15:04.520 you like in regards to cardio i like high intensity interval training i've done some hill sprints now

00:15:11.620 over the last week uh something you know time efficient and uh you know very hard as well you get

00:15:18.220 your heart rate really pumping in regards to crossfit i like it uh but you have to look out so you have a

00:15:24.140 good trainer because some of the things can be quite hazardous for your overall um body health

00:15:31.000 skeleton health uh so to speak so if you have a good trainer who doesn't make you do any dangerous

00:15:37.860 things it's a good thing but if you have you know i've seen plenty of frightening examples from crossfit

00:15:43.880 where you have someone doing military presses with really bad form doing deadlifts with really bad form etc

00:15:50.420 um watch out for those things but if you have um a trainer who knows what he's doing it's absolutely excellent

00:15:57.540 in my view next question from wildheten greetings these days when we spend most of our time at home

00:16:04.760 do you have any recommendations on a good tv show i can also recommend peaky blinders highly aesthetic if you ask me

00:16:10.920 i would suggest narcos on netflix i think it's a quite good series i watched the seasons there

00:16:19.660 it doesn't glorify pablo escobar or anything it's just um it gives you a good insight into the

00:16:26.060 the whole what was going on there so uh yeah that is a good series in my view i thought last kingdom

00:16:34.260 was quite good as well i will make a separate video on it then outlander is decent enough i will

00:16:40.880 also make a separate video on that because it's some parts of it that are a bit um questionable

00:16:46.900 but aesthetically speaking outlander is also quite good i can't comment on peaky blinders though since

00:16:54.060 i haven't seen it next question from sven olafson i was wondering if you could do a video going through

00:17:00.100 how to set up a fat loss phase i'm trying to get ripped for summer and don't have access to the gym

00:17:06.680 now with a plague going about please share your thoughts on the topic yeah this is also something

00:17:12.420 i can make a separate video on the short answer is um to do intermittent fasting so skip breakfast if

00:17:20.700 you aren't hungry in the morning then except for that you shouldn't drink any calories so any soda or

00:17:26.500 juices etc should go if you're swedish you can still go out walking etc so that would be another 1.00

00:17:32.540 thing you can do then you can also start tracking your calories if you want you have some extra time

00:17:37.740 you can put into getting a good sense of your macronutrients etc so focus more on the diet less

00:17:44.000 on training and then in a month or so if this thing goes over i don't know if it will but then you can

00:17:50.320 go back to the gym and you have a good understanding of nutrition next question from my man paul hey who

00:17:56.640 are your top five european most influential historical figures and why that is a very interesting

00:18:05.340 and a very tough question i can't really respond to it but um just um just reading the comment now and

00:18:12.840 coming up with some some guys i would probably say maybe alexander julius cesar napoleon and

00:18:23.400 two scientists since we've had three military men so maybe i will go with copernicus and alfred

00:18:32.700 nobel but again this i need to meditate more upon this before making a final statement but yeah those

00:18:40.720 five i would say just on the top of my head next question from jack greetings from vinland i was i was

00:18:47.660 curious about recommendations for martial arts training while under quarantine as my mma gym

00:18:52.980 has had to close yes same here i would recommend shadow boxing i think it's a great exercise you

00:18:58.840 reinforce your your movements etc and if you work on that work on your head movement work on your foot

00:19:05.460 movement your uh you know getting a full range of motion in your punches etc it's something that you

00:19:12.380 can actually be in a better position even if you haven't trained with someone else so yeah if you

00:19:17.640 focus on shadow boxing it will reinforce your movement patterns etc and it can be um it can be

00:19:24.100 good so yeah that is something i would definitely recommend shadow boxing next question from thomas

00:19:29.960 hope you had a good easter i was wondering if bronze age pervert stole your ideas physique posting sun and 0.92

00:19:37.680 steel bronze age lifestyle these are all things you've been advocating for years and he has gotten

00:19:42.960 popular saying them has he betrayed you uh no not at all not at all uh you know he has been super

00:19:50.040 supportive on twitter etc getting my channel and my twitter account out there and also physique posting

00:19:56.960 it isn't really my thing it's just something that's been with us for a long time so basically to use a

00:20:03.560 metaphor bronze age pervert and i come from the same school the same internet subculture so many of our

00:20:10.440 ideas have been with us for a long time and you know sun and steel it's taken from 0.81

00:20:15.240 mishima uh the japanese uh mad cunt so i mean this is not something i came up with uh many of our 0.96

00:20:23.540 shared ideals something that would take with us from our school or subculture or um whatever you will 0.82

00:20:29.960 so no definitely not um i enjoy his content on twitter i enjoy his podcast he has many good views

00:20:37.200 that um i've taken to heart such as the pirate attitude etc so uh no definitely not bronze age

00:20:44.920 pervert is a um a friend and an ally next question from greg as a small business owner what has been

00:20:52.680 your biggest challenge getting started what advice would you give to people who are interested in the

00:20:57.540 process of starting their own my best advice would just be be prepared to read up on a lot of things

00:21:06.120 be prepared to you know don't be daunted by all the obstacles they are you can overcome the

00:21:15.260 obstacles as long as you just keep your cool and uh yeah you're prepared to read and gaining a lot of

00:21:22.100 insights and knowledge on how to set up certain things so i'm talking everything from a web shop to

00:21:28.460 video editing software etc there are so many things that is taken a day read as many internet

00:21:35.640 threads as possible being in customer support talking to people just learning all the time so

00:21:41.720 even if something seems very complicated first you know you just have to stick with it put in the

00:21:47.140 time and uh not rush things so be patient be disciplined be prepared to read a lot that's the

00:21:54.840 best advice i have and this applies to basically everything accounting the law issues

00:22:00.860 financial issues whatever it might be right last question from patrick salutations in light of

00:22:08.980 pandemic or upheaval what length of time seems appropriate to stock provisions for provisions

00:22:14.540 here meaning food water medical equipment and such i too hard to say too hard to say um a general

00:22:21.680 statement about it depends on where you live uh what sources of food you can get from the outside do you live

00:22:27.660 in the countryside do you live in a big city do you live in a suburb close to nature it depends where

00:22:33.420 you live so you have to make a calculation on how long you could survive if you live in a big city

00:22:39.160 it could probably be an idea to stock up maybe some more and to have some you know plan of escape from

00:22:46.040 the city if you live in the countryside and you are a hunter and if you grow your own crops

00:22:50.580 uh yeah then you're a bit more self-reliant so i would say it depends on your um your individual

00:22:57.120 situation so anyway that was all the questions i had thank you very much for all of those and thank

00:23:04.720 you for your support and i will see you next time xx so boom

00:23:09.720 you
