Hello lads, today I want to elaborate on the TV series Vikings, but first let me take adequate
00:00:09.160
Now on a related note, we have the strategy game Vikings which you see playing before
00:00:16.600
It is played by no less than 20 million people worldwide and if you admire the graphics and
00:00:24.600
aesthetics of the game, obviously it reminds quite a bit of Age of Empires 2 and similar
00:00:30.400
If you download the game via my link in the description, you will get 200 gold and a protection
00:00:39.080
So yeah, check it out, first link in the description box below.
00:00:44.820
Now on another note before I begin to elaborate, I would just like to say that I did in fact
00:00:50.460
apply for a role in Vikings the summer of 2015 and I got the heartwarming support from, well,
00:00:59.060
some of you, at least those of you who were with me on Facebook then because they had
00:01:03.220
a casting in Stockholm and the casting agency was just blown up by requests to have me on
00:01:12.060
So the role I applied for was to be Björn's little brother.
00:01:15.060
But I sent the pictures of me and everything, but they said that I was too juicy, well, I
00:01:23.980
Now with that said, I would probably not have gotten the role anyway, but I thought that
00:01:27.660
was a... if there was a reason to not get a role, that was probably the best reason ever.
00:01:36.760
And I felt especially good since I got so much support.
00:01:43.180
So if you participated in that little operation, I give a heartfelt thank you to you.
00:01:53.000
Now anyway, I have mixed feelings about the Vikings series and especially the later seasons,
00:01:59.620
I would just like to elaborate a bit on first and foremost the bad things and then I will
00:02:10.740
Now, the bad things are... is one thing in particular which I could just not endorse with
00:02:19.960
And the primordial truth disproves this barbarism 100%.
00:02:26.280
And that is a scene where Ragnar shares his wife with the monk.
00:02:31.740
And this is obviously so far from anything that is reasonable, this is so far from anything
00:02:40.200
I don't even know where to begin to describe how heretical this is.
00:02:44.560
Now obviously when we talk about like TV series and they want to incorporate unrealistic things
00:02:51.760
such as elements of mythology or something like that.
00:02:55.380
That's absolutely fine if one of the characters has a dream or something like that and they
00:03:03.000
But when it's something that is supposed to be real such as sexual relationships and then
00:03:13.760
And I mean, any high testosterone Viking chieftain would rather take an axe and hack someone to
0.99
00:03:23.620
And not to mention the Viking queen or the chieftain's wife.
00:03:29.480
She would obviously not allow herself to be taken by a...
0.75
00:03:36.940
So, yeah, the primordial truth disproves this and that was just something that bothered
00:03:42.060
me quite a bit, especially if they want to portray my own ancestors in a certain way.
00:03:46.940
And I can, you know, go along with a lot of things, but not that sort of...
00:03:51.940
Well, basically cucking in its proper sense of words.
00:03:56.180
If you want a good sex scene that is realistic, you can watch 300 Rise of an Empire, where it
00:04:03.460
is a... it's a quite short film, action-packed, quite visually pleasing as well.
00:04:08.580
And that is a realistic sex scene, whereas the sex scene in Vikings there with the...
0.98
00:04:15.460
with the... with Lagertha and the monk, it's something really bad.
00:04:21.700
Then, obviously, there are other cultural Marxist elements which I am not all too comfortable
00:04:28.260
with, but I think the most extreme example was that and that's just something I want to distance
00:04:35.380
Now, on the good parts, and this is quite important to point out as well, that is the aesthetics
00:04:44.420
It looks good and it looks quite authentic indeed.
00:04:48.340
Now, I'm sure there are flaws, et cetera, and obviously flaws in the plot and flaws in
00:04:55.540
how they portray certain characters and the social dynamic, et cetera.
00:05:01.220
But just looking at the aesthetics and everything, it's visually pleasing.
00:05:06.580
And when they portray our ancestors in any way, it reinforces our identity.
00:05:12.660
So my identity as a Norseman is reinforced by just looking at these sort of things.
00:05:18.500
And that's obviously something that is excruciatingly important in this particular moment in time
00:05:26.420
So even if it's a bit flawed at the portrayal of our ancestors, it's still something that is good
00:05:32.580
because it reinforces the sense of who and what we are.
00:05:36.500
So when I see things such as Vikings, that makes me happy.
00:05:40.340
And then obviously I get a bit angry when they distort certain things.
00:05:44.420
But in the grand scheme of things, the more Viking sort of aesthetics that is being portrayed,
00:05:54.500
So Armand Armart, obviously you get that sense of being a guardian of Asgard, for example,
00:06:01.460
as all these sort of things, they add to the sense of who and what we are.
00:06:05.780
And that is obviously something that is very important for us in Generation Identity.
00:06:13.620
Now I'm not part of the organization itself, but I meant Generation Identity as our generation
00:06:21.140
So anyway, that was a bad thing and also a good thing.
00:06:26.180
And in a coming video, I will elaborate on Spartacus' blood and sand
00:06:30.500
because a similar sort of thing can be found there where you have testosterone as motivation,
00:06:48.660
Who's a bad thing and how to spread this to me with the European dooms?
1.00
00:07:00.980
I mean it's just not because there's the steel track.
00:07:01.380
It's just the defensewouldial for our enemy Carlisle.
