In this episode, I give you a quick run down of the factions that are available in Age of Sigils, and why I'm so pumped to be representing them in the grand finale of the game. Also, a shout out to my Serbian brother, Uros, who managed to deadlift a whole bunch of deadlifts at a young age of 17!

00:00:00.000 Greetings, oh glorious sons of the old father. Can you guess how excited I am right now?
00:00:14.200 I haven't been this excited in a very long time. It's alive, we're in Attila Total War,
00:00:21.600 and you see the blasphemous Hans are wreaking chaos here in the background.
00:00:26.280 Load it up with some glorious Lindvals coffee for optimal gaming performance as well.
00:00:34.280 Also big shout out to my Serbian brother Uros, who despite being a mere 17 years of age managed 110kg in the bench and 180kg in the deadlift.
00:00:47.280 Big shout out. So yes, I am super fucking excited. 0.84
00:00:52.280 We're gonna go into the grand campaign and look at some of the factions that are available. 0.84
00:00:59.280 I'm gonna do two campaigns, in all actuality, because I'm so fucking pumped up right now.
00:01:06.280 And Norseman obviously has to be one of the choices for one of the campaigns.
00:01:11.280 I might twitch later on as well, I'll see how we'll sort this out.
00:01:15.280 Oh, beloved true friends.
00:01:17.280 Norseman. Jutes looking fucking, look how aesthetic as fuck he looks. 1.00
00:01:23.280 Got Danes. Also fucking juicy. 1.00
00:01:27.280 But here is the fan, true friends, of the Norseman, the Geats. 0.99
00:01:32.280 In Swedish, it's Götar.
00:01:34.280 And my father actually is from Götaland.
00:01:39.280 So he will be excited when I tell him that you can actually be Geats or Götar in this game. 0.76
00:01:45.280 So yeah, I'm actually a bastard because my mother is a Svear and my father is a Göte. 1.00
00:01:54.280 So, look how glorious this guy looks. 0.99
00:01:57.280 Look how fucking juicy he looks. 0.99
00:01:59.280 With a beard of glory. 0.99
00:02:00.280 He looks like Rollo in Vikings.
00:02:02.280 If you haven't checked out Vikings yet, do so.
00:02:04.280 A really glorious TV series right there.
00:02:08.280 So you see, it's the Götaland of Sweden.
00:02:11.280 But then like, you know, it's not really any difference between Norwegian, Swedes, Götar, Scenians and stuff like that.
00:02:20.280 It's just, you know, the ancient tribes as it were.
00:02:22.280 But it's fun nonetheless. 1.00
00:02:24.280 And speaking of bastards, I'm also a bastard in the eyes of the church. 1.00
00:02:28.280 But I'm a pagan, so it's cool, I don't care about that. 1.00
00:02:32.280 So, our first campaign will actually be with the Geats.
00:02:39.280 And then also, fun fact here is that the etymology of the name is obviously from Götaland.
00:02:45.280 But so is the Goths. 0.95
00:02:48.280 Like, they stem from the same place as well.
00:02:50.280 And obviously the Visigoths as well.
00:02:52.280 So, a great many people have wandered out of Scandinavia during those times. 0.64
00:02:57.280 And it's so fucking glorious for me to be able to play a game where I can represent my own people.
00:03:03.280 Like, otherwise I've been representing the Celts quite a bit and the Greeks. 0.93
00:03:07.280 But now it's time for the North and look at that.
00:03:10.280 My Hammer of Thor is with me.
00:03:13.280 So, legendary ancestors of Beowulf.
00:03:17.280 The GTI manifest all to interpret boldness of the famous hero.
00:03:23.280 From their stronghold on the southern tip of the Swedish peninsula,
00:03:27.280 they have a naval access to the whole of the North Europe.
00:03:30.280 Allowing them to launch frequent raids without fear of retribution.
00:03:34.280 Their most glorious exploits are told in the GTI rich Ola tradition,
00:03:38.280 inspiring new generations to seek glory.
00:03:42.280 While the arrival of the Huns in Europe means disaster for most, 1.00
00:03:48.280 the GTI is another opportunity.
00:03:50.280 Their rich pickings to be gained fighting for the highest bidder in the south.
00:03:56.280 Crisis is blooming in these fertile lands,
00:03:58.280 and the GTI are determined to be at its heart, profiting from it.
00:04:03.280 Now, glory to the Old Father!
00:04:06.280 And you can hear, even the music is highly glorious. 0.96
00:04:09.280 I'm so fucking excited now. 0.78
00:04:11.280 I sense that I've talked long enough. 0.95
00:04:14.280 We're gonna go with very hard,
00:04:15.280 because I want to show off my skills for all my true friends.
00:04:19.280 So, viking raiders, income, sacking looting raiding,
00:04:23.280 cold blood, immune to snow attrition.
00:04:26.280 We're gonna start up right now.
00:04:28.280 Glory to the Old Father!
00:04:36.280 The air was filled with smoke and blood.
00:04:40.280 Rome was weak.
00:04:43.280 The tribes grew in strength and number.
00:04:53.280 This is glorious.
00:04:54.280 Their roots went deep,
00:04:56.280 and they felt the Earth's blood pounding through the land.
00:05:00.280 But their borders were threatened,
00:05:05.280 for a great storm raged in the east.
00:05:07.280 Storm of blasphemy!
00:05:09.280 One by one, the tribes scattered,
00:05:19.280 as seeds in the wind.
00:05:22.280 And behold, a red horse.
00:05:27.280 And power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the Earth.
00:05:32.280 The blood of their kin would be avenged.
00:05:37.280 Great hunters, they tempered their blades in Roman blood,
00:05:50.280 and saw their once mighty walls reduced to dust.
00:06:06.280 They made ready for war.
00:06:20.280 I am pumped up right now.
00:06:23.280 No question about it at all.
00:06:25.280 Will bring glory to the Old Father.
00:06:28.280 The world is changing.
00:06:30.280 A lasting cold creeps from the north.
00:06:34.280 And you must seek opportunities south of your homelands,
00:06:38.280 if you are to survive and prosper.
00:06:41.280 Take to the seas, and explore nearby shores.
00:06:45.280 For the local tribes will be no match for your warriors.
00:06:49.280 The plunder they bring hold,
00:06:51.280 has lined the coffers for the trials ahead.
00:06:54.280 The exploration and conquest of distant lands,
00:06:58.280 of corrupt empires grown weak through years of infighting,
00:07:02.280 and have paid the tribes without the strength or will to fight.
00:07:06.280 By sea, or by land,
00:07:10.280 the south is yours for the taking.
00:07:13.280 Triumph, and they will sing songs of your deeds until the end of days.
00:07:20.280 Alright, it is go time.
00:07:22.280 We are in.
00:07:24.280 Survive until the following date.
00:07:26.280 Spring 400.
00:07:28.280 Okay.
00:07:30.280 That shouldn't be a problem.
00:07:33.280 Alright, let's look at the gameplay, true friends.
00:07:36.280 Let us look at the gameplay indeed.
00:07:39.280 And keep in mind, this is the first look I have at the game as well.
00:07:43.280 I was so excited, so I decided like, I am doing a let's play on it.
00:07:47.280 Immediately.
00:07:49.280 Got a fleet here.
00:07:51.280 Gonna look at the diplomacy and see who we can harass.
00:07:54.280 Okay.
00:07:55.280 Okay, we are friendly with them.
00:08:04.280 Western Roman Empire, but they are quite strong actually.
00:08:11.280 These guys, we can fight against.
00:08:21.280 The Varinians, how dare they talk to me like that. 1.00
00:08:26.280 Or, we could actually do like this.
00:08:32.280 We can actually try to sack this place. 0.69
00:08:39.280 To fight against the Romans.
00:08:42.280 Double time.
00:08:44.280 Gonna try to raid them.
00:08:47.280 In all actuality.
00:08:48.280 Do we have any land troops?
00:08:50.280 For the tribe.
00:08:52.280 For the tribe.
00:08:53.280 We don't want to fight against the Danes.
00:08:56.280 But, for everyone who is. 0.60
00:08:58.280 Yeah, for everyone basically.
00:09:01.280 Sweden and Denmark has always fought.
00:09:04.280 Great.
00:09:05.280 Great.
00:09:06.280 Many.
00:09:07.280 Battles with each other.
00:09:09.280 In all actuality.
00:09:12.280 So, some history.
00:09:14.280 Right there.
00:09:15.280 Yeah, we fought.
00:09:20.280 A good bit with each other.
00:09:21.280 Over the years.
00:09:24.280 Gonna see if we can.
00:09:25.280 The road system within a region.
00:09:27.280 Will improve as prosperity increases.
00:09:30.280 Better quality roads.
00:09:32.280 Increase the movement range.
00:09:33.280 Of the armies and agents.
00:09:35.280 Who use them.
00:09:36.280 As well as the line of sight.
00:09:37.280 As the main administrative center.
00:09:41.280 This tab enables you to.
00:09:43.280 We're gonna look at the.
00:09:45.280 Technology tree.
00:09:46.280 Now this is upgraded from.
00:09:47.280 From Rome 2.
00:09:48.280 As well as you can see.
00:09:52.280 A bit cleaner design.
00:09:54.280 We're gonna.
00:09:55.280 Look at the possibility of.
00:09:57.280 Going with civic here.
00:10:00.280 In all actuality.
00:10:01.280 Ready for battle.
00:10:03.280 Ready for battle.
00:10:04.280 We have another army.
00:10:05.280 We have another army.
00:10:06.280 And why.
00:10:07.280 Not.
00:10:08.280 In all actuality.
00:10:13.280 Also.
00:10:14.280 Raid a bit.
00:10:15.280 You have selected a target.
00:10:16.280 Outside the highlighted area.
00:10:17.280 With those.
00:10:18.280 Oh.
00:10:19.280 Thank you very much for that.
00:10:20.280 I know.
00:10:21.280 I know.
00:10:22.280 What I'm doing.
00:10:23.280 Gonna look at racing.
00:10:24.280 All the units.
00:10:25.280 Or ships.
00:10:26.280 Available.
00:10:27.280 For recruitment.
00:10:28.280 Aha.

00:10:31.280 Agents are recruited.
00:10:32.280 Directly from a province.
00:10:33.280 So.
00:10:34.280 Can we build something.
00:10:35.280 To abandon.
00:10:36.280 Their settlements.
00:10:37.280 Undeveloped land.
00:10:38.280 As they go.
00:10:39.280 If the enemy.
00:10:40.280 Is getting too close.
00:10:41.280 And it looks like.
00:10:42.280 You will lose a region.

00:10:47.280 As well.
00:10:48.280 We're gonna go with that.
00:10:49.280 That sounded cool.
00:10:50.280 Represented by the ruined.
00:10:51.280 Building icons.
00:10:52.280 On the campaign map.
00:10:53.280 Deserted regions.
00:10:54.280 To take the room.

00:11:07.280 Though.
00:11:08.280 And there is our.
00:11:09.280 Dog.
00:11:10.280 It.
00:11:11.280 It means day.
00:11:12.280 In Swedish.
00:11:13.280 Like.
00:11:14.280 It's an older Swedish name.
00:11:15.280 The records tab.
00:11:16.280 Is used.
00:11:17.280 Alright.
00:11:18.280 Enough of that.
00:11:19.280 I want to fight.
00:11:20.280 End turn.
00:11:21.280 Provincial governor.
00:11:22.280 Okay.
00:11:23.280 That's new.
00:11:24.280 A province consists of.
00:11:25.280 Three married.
00:11:26.280 Or divorced.
00:11:27.280 Alright.
00:11:28.280 True friends.
00:11:29.280 This is a totally new.
00:11:30.280 Thing.

00:11:32.280 To appoint.
00:11:33.280 A governor.
00:11:34.280 So we can do that here.
00:11:35.280 So we're looking at the.
00:11:37.280 The.
00:11:38.280 Details.
00:11:39.280 Of the settlement.
00:11:40.280 We're gonna appoint.
00:11:42.280 Gizur.

00:11:51.280 To learn here.
00:11:52.280 Gonna appoint you.
00:11:53.280 As.
00:11:54.280 Um.
00:11:55.280 Alright.
00:11:56.280 Now.
00:11:57.280 I found it.
00:11:58.280 Okay.
00:11:59.280 See.
00:12:00.280 Governors here.
00:12:01.280 Offices.
00:12:02.280 Governors.
00:12:03.280 So we can choose here.
00:12:04.280 We're gonna go with.
00:12:05.280 Gizur here.
00:12:07.280 And hopefully.
00:12:08.280 And hopefully.
00:12:09.280 It works.
00:12:14.280 Governors assigned.
00:12:15.280 Gizur.
00:12:16.280 Okay.
00:12:17.280 And then you can remove him.
00:12:18.280 From office as well.
00:12:19.280 Cool.
00:12:20.280 Let's see.
00:12:21.280 If we can end.
00:12:22.280 Okay.
00:12:23.280 Edict.
00:12:24.280 Issued.
00:12:25.280 Oh yeah.
00:12:26.280 There we are.
00:12:27.280 Growth.
00:12:28.280 10 plus.
00:12:29.280 Construction cost.
00:12:30.280 Minus.
00:12:31.280 10.
00:12:32.280 Let's go with that.
00:12:33.280 Alright.
00:12:34.280 I utilize a little edit there.
00:12:35.280 Edict issued.
00:12:36.280 Highly sickening.
00:12:37.280 So.
00:12:38.280 And here.
00:12:39.280 Up here.
00:12:40.280 We have the.
00:12:41.280 The cash flow.
00:12:42.280 We got.
00:12:43.280 Plenty of food actually.
00:12:44.280 But.
00:12:45.280 But.
00:12:46.280 You see.
00:12:47.280 The.
00:12:48.280 The public order is going.
00:12:49.280 Down a bit.
00:12:50.280 I'm not.
00:12:51.280 Really comfortable.
00:12:52.280 With that.
00:12:53.280 At all.
00:12:54.280 But.
00:12:55.280 You see.
00:12:56.280 The.
00:12:57.280 The public order is going.
00:12:58.280 Down a bit.
00:12:59.280 I'm not.
00:13:00.280 Really comfortable.
00:13:01.280 With that.
00:13:02.280 At all.
00:13:03.280 I'm not.
00:13:04.280 Really comfortable.
00:13:05.280 With that.
00:13:06.280 I wanna go down.
00:13:08.280 There.
00:13:09.280 The.
00:13:10.280 The Danes.

00:13:20.280 Diplomacy.
00:13:21.280 And see if we can.
00:13:22.280 If we can.
00:13:23.280 Be friends with them.
00:13:24.280 The Danes.

00:13:52.280 You can do a lot of cool things here.
00:13:55.280 You can see the diplomacy is also upgraded a bit. I love it.
00:14:02.280 Love it.
00:14:04.280 Let's sail forth with our mighty ships.
00:14:13.280 I think you as well.
00:14:19.280 Ah.
00:14:20.280 How dare the Romans withhold treasure from us like this.
00:14:27.280 The sea snakes.
00:14:32.280 Alright, we're gonna try to sack this settlement.
00:14:36.280 Alrighty then.
00:14:37.280 Disease outbreak.
00:14:39.280 Consumption.
00:14:41.280 A foul pestilence has erupted within our lands.
00:14:44.280 No doubt the result of filth and squalor.
00:14:46.280 Okay.
00:14:48.280 That means we have to look at the possibility of creating some sort of sanitation thing. 0.95
00:14:55.280 We're gonna look at here what the crack is.
00:14:57.280 Labor service.
00:14:58.280 Local traditions.
00:15:00.280 Mhm.
00:15:02.280 Okay.
00:15:05.280 Gonna go with that.
00:15:07.280 And...
00:15:08.280 Can we upgrade...
00:15:10.280 Wicker maker?
00:15:12.280 No.
00:15:14.280 Oh, we can't build those either.
00:15:19.280 Dismantle.
00:15:21.280 No.
00:15:23.280 Okay.
00:15:25.280 Hmm.
00:15:28.280 Yeah, I've heard that...
00:15:31.280 That squalor is supposed to be a bigger problem.
00:15:35.280 There we have a little settlement as well. 0.98
00:15:42.280 Wow, they had a fucking huge army so we're not gonna... 0.96
00:15:45.280 Please select one of your own to learn more about their abilities. 0.97
00:15:49.280 We're not gonna do that in all actuality.
00:15:54.280 Alright students.
00:15:57.280 Alright you proud sons of the All Father.
00:16:01.280 The time has come.
00:16:03.280 For us.
00:16:04.280 To engage in battle.
00:16:06.280 We have our long ships. 0.84
00:16:08.280 And these blasphemous Romans. 1.00
00:16:12.280 They must pay for the heinous crimes.
00:16:15.280 If a faction's initial offer or demand isn't quite...
00:16:19.280 Thomas I love you.
00:16:20.280 Winning a battle isn't just about greater numbers.
00:16:23.280 The balance of units and the general's ability are important factors also.
00:16:27.280 Look at the strength ratio...
00:16:29.280 We're gonna look at the possibility of sacking this settlement.
00:16:33.280 Flavius Vento of the Western Roman Empire gets attacked by...
00:16:39.280 The Gethiai.
00:16:41.280 And this...
00:16:43.280 We have some glorious Nordic longships.
00:16:46.280 And if you haven't listened to Amon Amart.
00:16:50.280 Do it.
00:16:51.280 I just got reminded of Pursuit of the Vikings.
00:16:54.280 Things about longships etc.
00:16:56.280 Glorious for getting in the mode.
00:16:59.280 Getting in...
00:17:01.280 Lifting mode.
00:17:02.280 And then also...
00:17:03.280 Robert Lowe...
00:17:05.280 Has written...
00:17:06.280 A very good series.
00:17:08.280 The Oath Zone.
00:17:09.280 On Vikings.
00:17:10.280 So...
00:17:11.280 Weather conditions dry.
00:17:13.280 Suits me just fine.
00:17:14.280 I have no idea how good these...
00:17:16.280 Ships are. 0.98
00:17:19.280 Look how glorious they are though.
00:17:26.280 And look at the graphics as well.
00:17:27.280 To get in.
00:17:29.280 Take time to explore the battle user.
00:17:32.280 Now...
00:17:33.280 All farther.
00:17:35.280 Okay, we can land there.
00:17:38.280 Ah, look at this.
00:17:39.280 They have a little...
00:17:41.280 A little redoubt here in the water.
00:17:44.280 Hello ship.
00:17:46.280 Come on.
00:17:47.280 Why don't you wanna fight me though?
00:17:50.280 Look at...
00:17:51.280 Look how glorious this is though. 0.99
00:17:52.280 Look how fucking beautiful this ship is. 0.97
00:17:54.280 Gonna look at the possibility of... 0.98
00:18:01.280 Admiring these ships as well.
00:18:04.280 For...
00:18:06.280 This, true friend.
00:18:07.280 This is glorious.
00:18:08.280 I'm... 1.00
00:18:10.280 Excited as fuck. 0.96
00:18:11.280 I'm gonna speed up the gameplay a bit. 0.98
00:18:14.280 Until...
00:18:15.280 We get closer.
00:18:17.280 Let's...
00:18:18.280 Let's admire the battlefield just a bit.
00:18:20.280 So we're gonna try to...
00:18:22.280 Land here.
00:18:24.280 We're gonna land there.
00:18:31.280 And then...
00:18:32.280 It's a small...
00:18:34.280 Settlement.
00:18:35.280 And...
00:18:36.280 You can admire how glorious...
00:18:37.280 The rugged landscape looks.
00:18:40.280 Here.
00:18:41.280 It's a bit...
00:18:42.280 It's a bit gritty and dirty.
00:18:43.280 It's like...
00:18:47.280 Hard to explain like with words.
00:18:48.280 But I like it.
00:18:50.280 I like it greatly.
00:18:54.280 Bleak.
00:18:55.280 That's what I was looking for.
00:18:56.280 The landscape is bleak.
00:19:03.280 Aha.
00:19:04.280 You couldn't...
00:19:05.280 You couldn't land there.
00:19:06.280 That was it.
00:19:09.280 Assault ships.
00:19:10.280 Ready to attack.
00:19:12.280 Okay.
00:19:13.280 So they...
00:19:14.280 They couldn't land.
00:19:15.280 Ready and waiting.
00:19:16.280 Ready and waiting.
00:19:22.280 Okay.
00:19:23.280 So we're gonna see if we can... 1.00
00:19:25.280 Shoot at them. 1.00
00:19:26.280 Look at that. 1.00
00:19:27.280 Oh, look at that.
00:19:28.280 Foah.
00:19:29.280 Fire.
00:19:30.280 Oh, look at that.
00:19:31.280 Foah.
00:19:32.280 Fire.
00:19:33.280 Fire.
00:19:38.280 Alright.
00:19:39.280 So we might do like this.
00:19:40.280 Just gonna try to get this beachhead right now.
00:19:49.280 And not advance any further until our glorious General Seegar comes. 0.97
00:20:08.280 Sickening.
00:20:10.280 comes 0.79
00:20:13.080 sickening
00:20:28.040 all right we are in battle true friends we are finally in battle
00:20:31.320 oh look at that the the roman cavalry gets charged by our proud sons there and we
00:20:42.840 we have one more slot there to to land on
00:20:53.160 other routing how brilliant
00:20:54.920 all right so what we'll do true friends we're gonna look at just claiming this beachhead
00:21:04.120 wait on for our general
00:21:09.240 wow look at that look at that i was
00:21:16.440 i was in all actuality speeding up the gameplay of it and then we got ambushed so i'm gonna try to
00:21:23.320 save our proud general there oh look at that that is not good one bit
00:21:35.000 ah we got a rear charge on us
00:21:43.160 come on then you proud sons of the old father hurry up
00:21:45.640 at least we got a rear charge there co-horse
00:22:02.840 the men have thrown down their weapons and are fleeing shameful display
00:22:12.120 warriors eager for blood
00:22:22.040 let's admire the action
00:22:25.560 four
00:22:28.840 scrap us
00:22:29.720 perhaps i should actually have
00:22:37.720 hired some mercenaries
00:22:43.320 all right we might actually lose this battle
00:23:02.520 a bit kind of shameful display but but it is what it is i'll try to redeem myself in the next battle
00:23:08.680 look at this though barbarians against romans love it absolutely love it 0.97
00:23:23.240 the battle is not completely lost yet but you see the balance of power up here
00:23:28.280 standard shot 0.99
00:23:39.560 well kill them all 1.00
00:23:42.120 come on then fire 1.00
00:23:49.320 a retreat
00:23:50.280 the men are broken and running for their lives
00:23:56.600 oh look at that
00:23:59.800 close the beat
00:24:01.480 and i wanted to impress my true friends by a victory oh well it's it is what it is
00:24:07.880 we'll uh we'll get them next time
00:24:09.240 battle statistics are displayed here along with the op
00:24:19.000 our voyage is done
00:24:22.280 fleet ready
00:24:28.120 thirsty for battle
00:24:32.760 ready for orders
00:24:39.240 we're gonna do like this
00:24:45.720 true friends we're gonna hire some no we can't hire mercenaries
00:24:52.120 the longer a settlement is under siege the worse its physical condition becomes
00:24:57.160 making it easier for the attacker to penetrate the defenses
00:25:01.080 this also means that the state of a besieged settlement will be reflected in the condition of its
00:25:06.440 buildings and the morale of its defenders during any battle that we're gonna look at sieging those there
00:25:14.520 then we have another army here
00:25:20.360 the skites of the morning
00:25:31.800 and we're actually gonna hire these mercenaries here
00:25:42.280 and
00:25:44.040 they set ladies under siege 0.88
00:25:50.680 the danes are their allies
00:25:53.080 oh well
00:25:54.280 it is what it is
00:25:55.080 a very large army or fleet spread over two or more units 0.99
00:25:58.680 and that was really stupid of me 1.00
00:26:09.080 it was really really stupid of me 1.00
00:26:11.640 uh oh well 0.98
00:26:13.960 i'll try to say salvage this campaign anyway
00:26:16.760 all right true friends we got charged i'm gonna elect to flee here
00:26:27.160 and see
00:26:29.400 the order in which reinforcements take to the battlefield
00:26:32.600 okay we can't flee anymore
00:26:34.920 then
00:26:36.680 then we'll have to fight true friends we will have to
00:26:39.960 fight this battle in all actuality
00:26:42.920 the embers dog
00:26:45.240 all right so this will be the great battle of our time no but the great
00:26:49.560 battle of this episode at least
00:26:52.040 yeah it might just be the case that i
00:26:55.080 mismanaged this campaign as it were but it's all really so fun either way
00:26:59.080 you can secretly arrange your units inside the dip
00:27:03.800 so oh look at this it's snowing in britain
00:27:08.680 we are gonna look at the possibility of
00:27:13.080 defending this high ground
00:27:17.880 something like that
00:27:18.760 we hunger for blood and battle we're gonna keep them there 0.74
00:27:29.160 the general will be kept in behind the battle line true friends in all actuality
00:27:38.600 men of the north love it absolutely love it
00:27:48.760 and now they they can actually come to us if they want
00:27:58.520 if they want to box with us i'm gonna take
00:28:05.320 no standard shot is
00:28:09.720 okay the enemy is coming up here is he
00:28:12.600 hello romans they want to box with me they want to fight me
00:28:18.760 uh they're looking quite glorious though to be honest
00:28:22.520 but there will be no match for our northern heathens
00:28:29.560 so yeah as i was gonna say like it might just be the case that this
00:28:32.760 this campaign in particular becomes a bit hard to manage considering i made the
00:28:39.320 decision to charge the um the other nordic
00:28:43.880 uh region that was allied to the danes but it is what it is we'll try to manage uh this campaign either way
00:28:58.680 all right so do we have a chance at this battle because if we do we can
00:29:04.600 hopefully hire some mercenaries later on and then sack the settlements
00:29:09.560 but you see here sextus perennis palatina guards they look uh they look rather 0.81
00:29:16.600 fucking juicy to be honest like um so we're gonna have an all-out charge on us 0.78
00:29:28.200 i'm gonna try to defend this right now 0.98
00:29:30.760 all right true friends the enemy is nearing
00:29:41.960 we're gonna scout we're gonna counter this scout cavalry here
00:29:47.000 with our own and you see they are getting fired at
00:29:51.320 it's an ambush
00:29:55.240 it's a trap
00:29:59.640 oh look there
00:30:06.120 we are not how dare you talk with this defeatist attitude 0.97
00:30:10.440 no we're gonna fire at border guards
00:30:13.480 wow look at this intense action though
00:30:17.800 men of the north and the uh the blasphemous horsemen stand no chance 0.99
00:30:30.520 and we're gonna look at the possibility of
00:30:32.200 of um not be bothered too much by these
00:30:45.080 by these guys
00:30:46.120 no do not fire on those exploratis 0.99
00:31:01.400 come on just die then 0.99
00:31:02.440 i'm gonna get the other ones there 1.00
00:31:08.360 space are yours
00:31:13.880 oh a bit of a mistake there by me
00:31:21.880 yeah if i'm not the talkative i'm trying to salvage this battle
00:31:29.720 back to the fight man
00:31:34.920 no dollars i love you
00:31:38.280 it's a bit hard to see what's what's what here actually
00:31:43.640 encounter these guys if you want
00:31:47.880 fearless warriors
00:31:49.480 and now this shouldn't be a problem like light cavalry against our heavy infantry
00:31:55.160 spearmen ready for battle
00:32:02.840 and look at the the viking shields i love those really really glorious
00:32:08.520 come on and die for me romans die for me 0.98
00:32:12.120 what a sick physique 0.98
00:32:15.800 all right they haven't they haven't engaged their main force yet so i suppose this this battle might be
00:32:22.120 um hard to say the least
00:32:28.440 to
00:32:30.440 to win
00:32:31.640 but we're gonna do
00:32:33.960 as much damage as possible on them at least
00:32:37.080 oh look at the exploratis are coming as well 1.00
00:32:39.400 fuck 0.99
00:32:44.200 those are looking really glorious though to be honest 1.00
00:32:52.680 men of the north
00:33:02.920 all righty then it looks like we are getting slayed here in all actuality
00:33:09.640 we're gonna broken and are fleeing
00:33:15.960 our general has fallen
00:33:18.040 ah a dog has fallen as well
00:33:21.160 okay this did not go according to plan
00:33:24.600 not one bit
00:33:26.440 decisive defeat okay
00:33:27.880 oh well true friends oh well it is what it is
00:33:41.880 it it would seem that we haven't really made any great land gains this this episode
00:33:49.400 can actually
00:33:56.280 actually take those this it's fine it's cool
00:34:01.400 and a proud viking died there
00:34:08.600 all right so that will also have to conclude this episode but it was more like to
00:34:13.400 oh what's this now
00:34:21.320 you are attacking
00:34:27.960 aha okay
00:34:31.800 now we will not conclude this glorious episode because we will have another fight
00:34:36.520 true friends
00:34:40.120 the wild hunters
00:34:43.320 all right this this will be glorious this will be highly glorious now we've got
00:34:47.720 this episode a bit longer but it's the first athila episode so
00:34:52.360 i suppose the more gameplay is shown the better
00:34:56.920 in all actuality
00:35:00.440 all right we're gonna start the battle our troops aren't on the battlefield yet
00:35:03.560 so we had a massive germanic infighting battle here at hand i'm gonna speed up the gameplay a bit and
00:35:13.800 edit to be back in just a few
00:35:17.560 all right true friends the thing is we're quite far away from the action but
00:35:25.480 the our allies have
00:35:29.960 charged and you see they're looking the same
00:35:31.720 all everyone is looking the same so we can't really see
00:35:34.760 who's who but the the right side is our allies in all actuality so
00:35:40.280 and i think they will steamroll the enemy quite a bit you see the balance of power right
00:35:44.680 there so i'm gonna try to rush in and claim some of the glory at least
00:35:51.640 all right one of our units has come into combat fire brave men of germania
00:35:56.760 i could get used to this
00:36:05.640 all right
00:36:08.040 there we have the enemy oh look at that arrow rain 0.99
00:36:12.840 fuck and there we got a taste of it ourselves actually these are only mercenary units though 0.99
00:36:18.840 all right run away you don't want to fight them we don't need to fight them 1.00
00:36:29.240 and here comes our troops nordic band
00:36:33.240 all right so we got to clash with enemy right here right now
00:36:49.560 warriors eager for blood
00:36:51.240 now i will try to redeem myself
00:37:00.920 a bit at least because i haven't really
00:37:04.840 been that good in this episode so far in all actuality i've lost two battles
00:37:09.880 i'm gonna try to not losing another one
00:37:20.760 gonna have you stand
00:37:25.160 something like that
00:37:30.600 okay never mind just just get the germanic nobles there
00:37:34.360 and you will try to get a flank charge there actually my my own germanic nobles
00:37:45.400 try to get a flank charge there
00:37:50.200 or even a rear charge and you get the germanic bows out of my sight immediately
00:37:56.280 and you see the balance power is very much in our favor so we're just gonna get
00:38:04.360 a glorious charge in here and look those are really really glorious
00:38:11.480 now all father i love you let's admire this charge
00:38:17.640 our blue warriors coming in there yes yes yes yes yes
00:38:22.200 oh
00:38:26.920 what meeting absolutely glorious
00:38:33.480 heavy germanic nobles right there let's zoom into the action of it 0.69
00:38:43.160 sickening
00:38:43.640 and now the battle
00:38:52.200 oh look at that victory
00:38:56.600 highly glorious 0.71
00:38:58.200 highly glorious indeed the blasphemous varinians got smashed and now um 1.00
00:39:03.640 now we might actually still be in this game i thought like okay i've already messed up this campaign
