The Golden One - Ulthuan Rising Part 1. Total War： WARHAMMER 2

00:00:00.000 Greetings, valiant men, and welcome to Lustria! 0.99

00:00:30.000 That is one high testosterone sick cunt right there, and obviously glorious Prince Teklis of Ulthuan. 0.72

00:00:46.000 I want to aim a massive shoutout and a massive thank you to Sion of the Emperor for gifting me this game, so that I could make let's plays of it. 0.97

00:01:12.000 Highly appreciated indeed. So this is dedicated to you bro.

00:01:42.000 And there is an extremely rare Pepe Frog, who has transcended mortality.

00:02:00.000 Wow, epic.

00:02:08.000 Absolutely epic.

00:02:10.000 Now I have talked a lot about Warhammer 40k, about Horus Heresy, but I have actually been a Warhammer fantasy bra for a lot longer than I have been a science fiction bra.

00:02:24.000 So this is familiar territory, not the game itself, because I just installed it basically, but it is familiar because I read a good amount of books from the Black Library that is set in Warhammer fantasy setting.

00:02:42.000 So we are going to go into campaigns, new campaigns.

00:02:46.000 I am Tyrion, heir of Anerion.

00:02:50.000 Tyrion, heir of Anerion.

00:02:52.000 Absolutely awesome.

00:02:54.000 Yeah, we are going to look through the different lords.

00:02:58.000 This is also an epic character.

00:03:06.000 And this is obviously the rare Pepe Frog.

00:03:10.000 High testosterone alpha male.

00:03:14.000 Also high testosterone alpha male.

00:03:18.000 Now, in my humble view at least, Malekith is the true heir of Ultuan.

00:03:26.000 And obviously high energy.

00:03:30.000 And this is his modrum, who is a bit degenerate to be quite honest with everyone.

00:03:38.000 But yeah, I suppose she is beautiful and powerful and all that.

00:03:44.000 And obviously also high testosterone guy.

00:03:54.000 And this is a Huponic Plague level sickening individual in its actual sense.

00:04:02.000 But anyway, we are going to start off with this absolutely epic character.

00:04:12.000 I am going to go very hard, as is my custom when I make this Let's Plays.

00:04:18.000 So we are going to get straight into it.

00:04:20.000 And then I will elaborate more about my...

00:04:24.000 To which extent I am a Warhammer, bro.

00:04:28.000 Alright, I will start the campaign.

00:04:31.000 And then I will let you enjoy the intro without my voice.

00:04:37.000 Who are the Asyl? 1.00

00:04:47.000 An enigma to men and dwarfs, who know them as High Elves. 1.00

00:04:53.000 At the center of the great ocean lies Ulthual.

00:05:03.000 A paradise created by the Old Ones. 1.00

00:05:07.000 But when the Stellar Gates collapsed, demons flooded the mortal plane.

00:05:14.000 All was lost until Anerion the Defender strode forth.

00:05:21.000 The first Phoenix King vanquished the demons.

00:05:28.000 With the aid of the Archmage, Kalidor Dragontamer. 1.00

00:05:33.000 It was Kalidor and his elven mages who created the Great Vortex. 1.00

00:05:39.000 A swirling maelstrom that siphoned the excess magic, withering demonkind.

00:05:58.000 With the world purged of chaos, the elves took it upon themselves to become guardians and stewards.

00:06:10.000 The twin-tailed comet is oft seen as an omen.

00:06:14.000 But this time, its wake brought great peril.

00:06:20.000 The dragon with two tails flies lower than before.

00:06:27.000 Its trail disturbs the Vortex.

00:06:30.000 I have felt a change in the winds of magic.

00:06:33.000 Then write it, brother.

00:06:35.000 Lead the mages of Saffari. 0.98

00:06:37.000 Bring all in the White Tower to bear if you must.

00:06:40.000 Such lure is currently beyond us.

00:06:43.000 I suggest a scrying ritual in the pool of Isha.

00:06:46.000 It may provide us with the answer.

00:06:49.000 Such a ritual requires fragments of fallen waystones.

00:06:52.000 Far more than we have.

00:06:54.000 Then we find more.

00:06:56.000 Make ready your ritual, Loremaster Talarian.

00:06:59.000 You will have your fragments.

00:07:02.000 I shall start the search in Lustria.

00:07:04.000 Lustria?

00:07:05.000 My brother will search here, in Ulthuan.

00:07:08.000 Why do you care so much about the greater world?

00:07:11.000 Why do you not?

00:07:13.000 Stay here, brother.

00:07:14.000 Protect Ulthuan.

00:07:15.000 But I venture beyond our borders.

00:07:20.000 And while you meddle in far-flung continents,

00:07:23.000 I will ensure you have a home to return to.

00:07:35.000 That was intense.

00:07:37.000 I got a good amount of shivers watching that.

00:07:42.000 Absolutely love the aesthetics if you're watching that picture right there.

00:07:48.000 Fwa. 0.76

00:07:49.000 Myrin is all I really have to say about that.

00:07:52.000 Ulthuan is under attack.

00:07:56.000 And the great vortex imperiled like never before.

00:08:01.000 The Druki invaders in number. 1.00

00:08:04.000 No doubt Malekith or his twisted crone of a mother have sensed weakness in the vortex.

00:08:10.000 Their attack is blatant.

00:08:13.000 They come directly for the Seagates of Lothurn.

00:08:18.000 The seat of the Phoenix King must not fall.

00:08:22.000 Finobar has entrusted me to lead the counter-attack.

00:08:26.000 Join my cause, brave Assur.

00:08:29.000 And together, we shall overcome.

00:08:33.000 The Druki cannot be allowed to despoil the sanctity of Ulthuan. 1.00

00:08:38.000 Draw your weapons.

00:08:40.000 And by Assurians will shall we prevail.

00:08:47.000 The time has come to bring the word of enlightenment to these heretics. 1.00

00:08:52.000 Now, yes, I have played a bit of War and Master of War in the old world before.

00:09:04.000 But first campaign here.

00:09:09.000 So bear with me if I make silly mistakes.

00:09:13.000 Spies within the occupied cities suggest that the Druki are on the hunt for ancient scrolls of power. 0.99

00:09:21.000 I am no sorcerer.

00:09:23.000 But this is ill news.

00:09:25.000 They must surely be stopped.

00:09:28.000 Thou art correct.

00:09:29.000 We must immediately do so.

00:09:34.000 Alright.

00:09:35.000 Enhanced perfection. I like that.

00:09:38.000 And that is to build an elven village.

00:09:45.000 Anyway.

00:09:46.000 Update on everything.

00:09:48.000 I will make more regular videos next week.

00:09:51.000 I just need to do some things and set up an epic place to record the regular videos.

00:09:59.000 So in the meantime I thought to make some let's plays.

00:10:01.000 And then obviously since I was gifted this earlier today.

00:10:06.000 I thought it was a reasonable course of action to jump straight into it.

00:10:10.000 And also because the game is new.

00:10:12.000 And I know that a lot of...

00:10:15.000 I have a lot of Warhammer Bros.

00:10:17.000 Both Fantasy and 40k are subscribed.

00:10:21.000 So it's...

00:10:22.000 And obviously a lot of guys who like Total War.

00:10:25.000 So...

00:10:26.000 And for me personally also.

00:10:28.000 Always loved Warhammer.

00:10:29.000 Always loved Total War.

00:10:31.000 So...

00:10:32.000 Match made in heaven.

00:10:33.000 For me at least.

00:10:34.000 But if you do not particularly like gaming.

00:10:38.000 Or if you're not really into it.

00:10:40.000 Don't worry.

00:10:41.000 I'll be back to my regular videos soon enough.

00:10:45.000 But even if you're not into gaming.

00:10:48.000 You can just relax.

00:10:50.000 And listen to my soothing voice.

00:10:52.000 I don't know if it's a soothing voice.

00:10:54.000 But I hope so.

00:10:58.000 Now then.

00:11:00.000 First things first.

00:11:02.000 Technology.

00:11:06.000 Can't really do anything.

00:11:07.000 We need to build something fun first.

00:11:12.000 Right.

00:11:15.000 Hmm.

00:11:16.000 Okay.

00:11:17.000 We must research some technologies.

00:11:18.000 How about diplomacy?

00:11:20.000 Relations with foreign powers may be managed through diplomacy my lord.

00:11:25.000 Consider your situation carefully before accepting any agreement.

00:11:30.000 That guy if anyone has a soothing voice.

00:11:33.000 Reminds me a bit about Esbern in Skyrim.

00:11:36.000 Alright.

00:11:37.000 Yvres.

00:11:38.000 Yvres.

00:11:39.000 You seem like decent good elves.

00:11:42.000 I will hear your petition.

00:11:43.000 And consider it carefully.

00:11:45.000 Let us trade.

00:11:47.000 We can even have a military access going.

00:11:49.000 Very well.

00:11:50.000 Boom.

00:11:51.000 I agree to your terms though it causes me great pain.

00:11:54.000 Why would it do that?

00:11:55.000 We're trading on equal terms here. 0.99

00:11:57.000 Extremely silly of you. 0.99

00:11:59.000 Okay. 0.99

00:12:00.000 Zafari. 0.73

00:12:01.000 My request dear Yngmir.

00:12:02.000 You are no friend of the Asur of Ultuan. 1.00

00:12:03.000 But I am an Asur of Ultuan. 0.99

00:12:04.000 You extremely silly girl. 0.99

00:12:05.000 They don't really seem. 1.00

00:12:06.000 Quite impossible.

00:12:07.000 Yeah.

00:12:08.000 They didn't want to trade.

00:12:09.000 For some reason.

00:12:10.000 Asur princess.

00:12:11.000 The phoenix court awaits your plea with interest.

00:12:12.000 Can I have a non-aggression pact maybe?

00:12:13.000 And.

00:12:14.000 Alright.

00:12:15.000 Let's do it.

00:12:16.000 What?

00:12:17.000 Blasphemy.

00:12:18.000 What?

00:12:19.000 Blasphemy.

00:12:20.000 What?

00:12:21.000 Blasphemy.

00:12:22.000 What?

00:12:23.000 Blasphemy.

00:12:24.000 What?

00:12:25.000 Blasphemy.

00:12:26.000 What?

00:12:27.000 What?

00:12:28.000 What?

00:12:29.000 What?

00:12:30.000 What?

00:12:31.000 What?

00:12:32.000 What?

00:12:33.000 What?

00:12:34.000 What?

00:12:35.000 What?

00:12:36.000 What?

00:12:37.000 What?

00:12:38.000 What?

00:12:39.000 attention to me.

00:12:40.000 Trade agreement then.

00:12:41.000 If you will it.

00:12:42.000 Foah.

00:12:46.000 Uh.

00:12:47.000 Aww Foah.

00:12:51.000 This is absolutely.

00:12:52.000 Joyous.

00:12:53.000 I can speak.

00:12:55.000 I want to trade with you.

00:12:59.000 If you wish.

00:13:01.000 Uh.

00:13:02.000 Coolest unit.

00:13:03.000 In all of Warhammer.

00:13:05.000 White lions.

00:13:06.000 I will build some of them later.

00:13:08.000 some of them later or recruit someone later as we progress in this uh in this series uh okay and i

00:13:15.520 don't really think anyone else want to trade with me the scourge of kain you have done well to make 1.00

00:13:22.160 it this far speak i just want to see what it says i don't uh never never okay he doesn't like me

00:13:30.880 uh but that's fine it is absolutely fine uh i want to bring the word to these heretics but uh we're 0.97

00:13:40.800 gonna need some more lads and uh archers are always fun to do battle with and that's that i suppose i'll

00:13:53.440 take a turn and then the um war is on the cult of excess that sounds like some degenerates

00:14:09.200 and we can't have that can we dear true friends speaking of the term true friends i don't really

00:14:17.840 use it anymore because no one understands what i say when i say it so people are wondering what

00:14:23.920 are you saying in the beginning and they think i say something completely else which is um

00:14:32.320 which is silly

00:14:38.080 ever loyal i like that

00:14:39.680 i'm gonna go with one more unit of spearmen as well for uh optimal glory i'm gonna take another turn 0.99

00:14:50.400 and see what uh this uh sick cunt is going hopefully we can provoke a some sort of battle 1.00

00:15:09.680 so yeah nice with some uh autumn gaming i hope thou all agreeest be wary my lord for the dark elves 1.00

00:15:24.800 have been cited these pitiless killers are as dangerous on the battlefield as they are treacherous

00:15:30.400 around the table i advise great caution that is some good advice i will heed it my friend

00:15:40.560 uh i'm gonna bring the heat right now see what the crack is for my queen boom 1.00

00:15:50.800 all right let's do it i suppose a battle can be uh good

00:15:56.640 i lost for battle in in the first episode i think that is uh mandatory even for the first episode of a

00:16:12.560 total war let's play last total war let's play i made was um one and a half years ago and i was uh the

00:16:21.840 kingdom of asturias in attila uh commencing an epic reconquist of uh iberia and it was quite popular

00:16:31.120 let's play i hope this uh let's play also gets um is uh well received by you all right uh i will not

00:16:42.240 deploy because i'm too cool for that no i am merely jesting i will uh not deploy because they have the

00:16:50.800 majority of their weapons may uh troops already i mean they're not here yet look at that we have a

00:17:00.240 uh a phoenix how uh how glorious oh and by the way i need to expand my english vocabulary so um so i

00:17:11.680 don't need to use glorious and epic uh to describe exactly everything but sometimes that's the only

00:17:17.680 thing that can be used to describe certain things so if we admire these uh guys right here

00:17:28.640 that is quite epic i don't know if magnificent would be the right term to

00:17:38.160 to describe it but so yeah i'll have to use epic and glorious to

00:17:42.960 um until further notice god they are getting absolutely wrecked

00:18:00.000 oh no i like the storm of arrows it is quite satisfying to see

00:18:04.720 is this uh this cult of excess they are um yeah as the um as the name suggests they are pleasure

00:18:20.000 seeking hedonists uh decadent degenerates so they need to pay with their lives

00:18:26.160 i'm gonna speed up the battle a bit okay you could actually save some ammunition there

00:18:41.600 until

00:18:45.520 these guys

00:18:48.640 come in

00:18:51.440 to play

00:18:56.160 oh right

00:19:05.200 yes you can actually fire now look at this now

00:19:15.760 that if anything is

00:19:21.280 brutal

00:19:21.680 the enemy general the enemy general is slain my lord cursing your name with it 0.71

00:19:28.640 very good very good indeed

00:19:32.560 now let us look at this guys

00:19:41.280 quite high energy i must say and i suppose they want to charge in my

00:19:46.640 uh

00:19:49.920 my bowmen there so uh

00:19:56.480 we're gonna meet them up with

00:20:01.120 our uh spearmen

00:20:02.960 it shall be done

00:20:09.440 shield of the ever queen

00:20:13.440 all right to rick em lads

00:20:22.960 all right boom get at em lads 0.97

00:20:24.800 oh

00:20:29.840 oh

00:20:34.720 our uh gallant hero

00:20:39.840 ah the aesthetics are

00:20:42.880 on point

00:20:43.600 there we are

00:20:47.920 all right

00:20:48.960 all right i'm gonna utilize my

00:20:50.480 phoenix here

00:20:56.080 i want to

00:20:58.000 get in

00:20:59.520 get in the flank

00:21:01.680 uh

00:21:02.080 to better utilize my

00:21:03.520 uh

00:21:13.280 all right let's uh try this

00:21:19.360 see how he fares

00:21:24.560 see if we can stand this uh

00:21:27.200 archers behind 0.99

00:21:28.160 behind their lines and uh unleash hell

00:21:35.840 would be

00:21:37.200 quite

00:21:39.280 strategic

00:21:42.400 i suppose

00:21:44.720 tyrion

00:21:45.280 oh

00:21:56.640 mighty prince

00:22:11.680 all right get him lads

00:22:15.280 i think we should have this uh

00:22:17.360 battle in our um

00:22:21.680 oh you can actually

00:22:23.360 help them if you don't

00:22:25.120 if you don't mind lads you can charge in there

00:22:45.280 we'll be

00:22:47.360 dreadlord

00:22:48.160 he will uh 0.99

00:22:48.800 soon die 0.96

00:23:00.400 i like this uh this phoenix

00:23:05.280 oh but we have won

00:23:08.400 how nice

00:23:11.360 okay cool that was a good start to this uh

00:23:14.880 this campaign

00:23:18.000 yeah feels good dot jpg

00:23:21.760 most

00:23:23.280 satisfying indeed

00:23:25.600 yes as i said

00:23:32.240 i do believe that malekith is actually a true heir of alt 1

00:23:38.960 we're gonna occupy because this is our land

00:23:40.800 uh

00:23:42.560 the drukies 0.97

00:23:43.440 and uh

00:23:49.200 and uh

00:23:50.240 yeah there's a really epic trilogy

00:23:52.880 first book is called malekith

00:23:54.960 second book is called shadow king

00:23:57.040 which is uh probably one of the best books i've read

00:24:00.240 uh

00:24:02.000 uh

00:24:02.400 i would say so uh

00:24:04.000 always some book recommendations when in

00:24:07.280 my videos

00:24:08.080 um

00:24:11.440 but yeah anyway that's my thoughts on it because he was the son

00:24:16.400 of anerion which was the first king of ulthuan

00:24:20.160 but he got he got cocked so to speak

00:24:23.360 and he got exiled to nagaroth so now he's planning his revenge

00:24:28.720 and they have actually advanced the storyline

00:24:31.360 a warhammer

00:24:32.560 to the great discontent of many

00:24:35.680 hardcore fans

00:24:37.920 for me it was

00:24:39.440 it was nice when they advanced the storyline but i kind of liked the warhammer world as it was

00:24:43.280 so uh

00:24:44.240 but you know it is what it is

00:24:47.040 uh

00:24:47.600 anyway

00:24:49.360 i think i will leave it there for this episode
