00:00:47.700 imagine what the Israelis and the rest of the world think of this president. One of Biden's

00:00:53.500 top advisors, Brian Deese, continues to talk nonsense on economics, which may explain a few

00:00:59.620 things. Deese saying that the 9.1 percent CPI inflation report makes it even more urgent than

00:01:06.680 ever to, quote, pass new spending bills, end quote. Figure that one out. How in the world does more

00:01:14.740 spending help inflation? Just last week, Deese told consumers to basically suck it up and that,

00:01:21.780 quote, this is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to hold firm, end quote.

00:01:29.080 More incredible ideological banality from the Biden administration. Apparently, Mexican President

00:01:35.780 Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador must think President Biden needs more advice and offered him plenty earlier

00:01:42.560 this week, telling Biden while at the White House he should increase temporary work visas to ensure

00:01:49.920 the United States didn't have a labor shortage. And Lopez Obrador was brimming with advice,

00:01:56.240 suggesting Biden regular rise, as he put it, illegal immigrants already in this country.

00:02:09.260 Lopez Obrador had another suggestion, a return to the North American Union idea, bringing together the

00:02:25.600 offered not a single word of advice to Mr. Biden on how to secure our southern border. Our guest today is

00:02:33.300 Carrie Lake. She's very much concerned about that border and all that Mr. Biden is doing to encourage

00:03:08.480 I am up against basically the biggest swamp creature you've ever met. And she's got a lot of money. Her husband's a

00:03:15.540 billionaire and they are pouring in so much money trying to defeat us. But you can't defeat a movement.

00:03:21.480 You can't defeat we the people. And we have the people of Arizona solidly behind us. And they are

00:03:28.200 out voting already because unfortunately we're in one of those states where we have voting month,

00:03:32.400 not voting day, and election month, I should say. So we're doing quite well. Our internal polling

00:03:38.060 shows us up 13 points, but she's pouring 2 million a week in TV ads at us. And there's still a segment of

00:03:44.340 the population, unfortunately, who believes ads. You know, they believe these ads when she's trying to

00:03:49.920 paint themselves as America first when her record actually shows she is a globalist. Her record shows

00:03:55.900 that she's for illegal immigration and getting illegal immigrants perks to come over here.

00:04:01.940 And her record shows that she's pro-abortion, that she's voted that way. She's voted to restrict our gun

00:04:07.520 rights and our Second Amendment rights. So we do have a battle out here because it's a battle of somebody

00:04:12.880 who's willing to pour every single penny they can and we're crony friends as well versus the people of Arizona

00:04:19.360 who want change. They want to go away from that McCain style politics into a America first

00:04:40.620 tell you that. But the cartels are on are in charge on both sides of that border. And Biden makes no

00:04:47.540 apology for what he's done. And there are so many people who live on that border whose survival is

00:04:55.760 at stake here. And they seem to be utterly oblivious to that reality.

00:05:00.820 You know, they get distracted by ridiculous things. I mean, and they're doing this right now in the ads,

00:05:07.000 they're finding, you know, people drag queens and people to attack me. And I'm like, wow,

00:05:11.920 this is a distraction from critical issues that will bring down our country if we don't deal with

00:05:18.700 them. And they want to distract people with all this stuff over here. Meanwhile, we have a border

00:05:23.360 that's wide open. The narco terrorists are running the show, not just on the border, but in Arizona.

00:05:35.500 priorities and get our energy and fix. And I have a plan to secure that border. It is the most

00:05:41.040 aggressive, bold plan. And it will secure the border. It's going to require that we go right

00:05:46.080 to that amazing document, the U.S. Constitution. And we enact our Article 1, Section 10 rights as a

00:05:51.720 state to defend and protect our people when we are in imminent danger and being invaded. And, you know,

00:05:58.600 I'm up against somebody who's got a six point border plan, which is basically the same exact plan

00:06:03.280 that Doug Ducey is doing, which is six points of a whole lot of nothing. And it was written by her

00:06:09.080 McCain consultants. And so we've got a real choice to make right now in this election. Do we truly want

00:06:15.320 our border secure? Do we want to take back control from the cartels? Do we want to complete President

00:06:20.800 Trump's wall, put our National Guard down there to stop people from coming across? And those who do come

00:06:26.460 across, we send right back and we get rid of these drug tunnels and we shoot down the cartel drones?

00:06:32.340 Or do we want status quo? Millions of people pouring in our wages being pushed down lower and lower and lower

00:07:20.140 that they are watching the drugs coming across that border. Nearly every family in this in this

00:07:26.140 country has a family member who is addicted or was addicted, who is in some way a victim of the

00:07:35.020 cartels. And that border being wide open and the policies that were employed by the Democratic Party

00:07:41.700 for the past 30 years. They're devastating. A hundred thousand people killed, overdose every year. And that doesn't

00:07:50.960 seem to get through to people. Yeah, it's so sad. And I'm out in the campaign trail every day, Lou, and it is I'm a

00:07:57.160 mother and it is so heartbreaking to talk to parents who've lost a loved one. I mean, I talked to a mom whose 22 year old

00:08:05.680 daughter took a half a Xanax pill, or so she thought, and was poisoned by fentanyl and died. I'm talked to a mayor

00:08:13.540 in a small town who said we lost two 19 year old men, young men. Think of the future they could have led. Think of

00:08:20.420 what they could have contributed and accomplished and done in their lives. And we were losing a generation of

00:08:26.020 people to this fentanyl poisoning. I don't even call it an overdose, Lou. It's a poisoning. CCP is sending this

00:08:33.020 poison over. The cartels are hauling it in. And it's weakening America. It's killing America. And

00:08:39.760 that's part of their plan. They're going to bring us down any way they can by poisoning us, by sending

00:08:45.040 us into despair and homelessness, by destroying the middle class, taking our jobs and sending them

00:08:50.360 overseas. They've done that already. They want to weaken and destroy us. And frankly, this fentanyl is

00:08:57.000 coming over in such levels that we're confiscating to kill two plus billion people. That's a weapon of

00:09:04.080 mass destruction. I think I was the first person to call it that. And what would we do if we caught

00:09:08.660 somebody hauling a weapon of mass destruction into our country? That's death penalty stuff. And I frankly

00:09:14.800 agree with President Trump in his remarks in Las Vegas. We got to start punishing people for the severity

00:09:21.520 of these crimes. And when they are coming in and hauling in poison to kill us, we need to start

00:09:27.640 going after them and pursuing the death penalty against these people. And I'm not talking about

00:09:31.920 dragging out the sentence for 25 years. I'm talking swift penalties for these crimes that are being

00:09:39.400 committed against this great country. You mentioned China. China killed more Americans than have ever been

00:09:44.980 killed in war with the Wuhan virus. And Xi Jinping, the president of China had a choice. He could have

00:09:53.500 warned the entire world that that was going to be an issue for at least the initial part of the

00:10:02.020 pandemic. But he chose not to. And that's morally the equivalent of murder. And the fentanyl you're

00:10:09.100 talking about. That fentanyl is being manufactured in China. Its ingredients, in some cases, are being

00:10:15.280 shipped to Mexico and then manufactured there as well. But it all starts with communist China.

00:10:38.520 career. You were one of the first people, Lou, to bring that up. Even before President Trump came

00:10:44.280 on the scene, I remember you talking about that and talking about the political class selling out

00:10:49.220 America. And here we are, fast forward, you know, a couple of decades and we're feeling it and it's

00:10:56.060 we're on the brink of destruction because of that. And this is why, you know, look, I'm running for

00:11:01.200 governor. I'm not running for God. And so there's only so much a governor can do, but a governor can do a

00:11:06.320 lot. And we're going to have a red wave and we're going to bring in a lot of America first people

00:11:10.120 into our legislature. We need to take back the land that China's come in and purchased in Arizona.

00:12:00.920 and he says, Carrie, we're at a very perilous moment, perhaps the most perilous moment in our country's

00:12:08.080 existence. Think about that. We're not at the 11th hour. We're in the final minutes. If we don't have

00:12:13.320 some people stand up right now and do the right thing to save this country. And it's going to start by

00:12:18.080 taking on China and, and stopping them from being able to bring their poison in and destroy us. I'd like to

00:12:24.160 see us frankly, reshore some of those American companies. Hopefully they're waking up and Arizona

00:12:30.420 is a ripe place to come in and do manufacturing. We'd love, if you have a, if you are patriotic,

00:12:36.340 any of these American companies who want out of China, we want them to come back to Arizona and

00:12:40.840 set up shop there and we'll help them do that. But it's going to be all hands on deck to save this

00:12:45.260 country. And I think we're seeing a uprising of American patriots willing to do that.

00:12:50.360 Well, and, and in Arizona, Carrie, you're also dealing with another aspect and that is a federal

00:12:58.540 government that wants to federalize this election. And in the case of Arizona, they also want you to

00:13:04.100 not in any way suggest that there be proof of citizenship before a person votes in the great

00:13:10.060 state of Arizona. You, you say you're running for governor, not God. Well, somebody needs to tell

00:13:15.800 Biden. He's not God. And, and Merrick Garland is not a, an angel on high. These people are absolute

00:13:26.480 demons in, in their acts against decency and the rule of law and order. It is absolutely overwhelming.

00:13:34.360 It all goes back though, Lou, to, I think the biggest priority. And I know people don't want to

00:13:39.360 talk about it, but what happened in 2020, we had a stolen election, a corrupt election. If we don't

00:13:44.980 fix that, if we don't restore honesty to our elections, then we're, we're never going to be

00:13:49.300 able to do it. We won't be able to secure the border because we won't get the people we want

00:13:53.140 in office. If these elections continue to be stolen, we made one improvement and that was to require

00:13:59.300 proof of citizenship. We have the right to do that here in Arizona. And first of all, our governor

00:14:04.820 initially vetoed that piece of legislation, by the way, and then he felt the wrath of the people.

00:14:10.200 And he finally, when it came back around signed it. But it kind of shows you these weak governors.

00:14:15.600 We have, he was at least initially ready to veto that we've got to get our elections restored so that

00:14:23.440 we have honest elections. And we're going to start that here in Arizona. And we, we're going to fight

00:14:28.760 back against the DOJ. And thankfully, even though I don't agree with our current attorney general,

00:14:33.400 because he sat on a mountain of evidence of election fraud and corruption, and has done almost

00:14:38.280 nothing with that. I do agree with him. He's going to stand up and fight the DOJ as they try to force

00:14:45.700 us to have illegal immigrants vote here in Arizona. This is a big part of their plan. We all know it.

00:14:52.040 They've even slipped and said it, bring all these people in illegally and change the voting

00:14:56.460 demographics. And we're not going to stand for that. I was talking with Congressman Darrell Issa

00:15:01.840 the other day. And he's talking about they're trying to change literally the face of America.

00:15:07.180 Now, race is a big barrier for discussing border security. But that's changed because now we're

00:15:16.480 seeing Hispanics begin to vote for Republicans. And Hispanics want border security every bit as much

00:15:24.500 as anyone else in this country. And I have to tell you, I hope that that's representative of what is

00:15:30.980 happening in Arizona, because nationally, it is an important and immense trend that is critically

00:15:38.640 important. Oh, it's huge. I see it every day. Just this weekend, I was at a meet and greet at

00:15:45.140 someone's home and in southern Arizona. And, you know, Arizona has a huge Hispanic population and they

00:15:51.000 are fit to be tied by what's happening. Let's let's just remember, if you know anything about that

00:15:57.660 Latino community, it's about faith. It's about family. It's about hard work. It's about the

00:16:02.760 American dream, entrepreneurship. And they are watching as millions of people pour in most of

00:16:09.700 our middle class. I mean, they the backbone of our middle class here in Arizona is in large part the

00:16:15.960 Hispanic community working hard. Now they watch people pouring in to take those jobs and drive wages

00:16:22.520 down. They watch the fentanyl coming in, poisoning their kids. They watch the cartels taking control.

00:16:29.880 Some of the people who are citizens here in Arizona come from countries where the cartels were in

00:16:34.300 control, and they certainly don't want to go back to that kind of corruption. They are Republicans.

00:16:40.100 They are conservatives. And I know that the left is scared to death of that, but it's too late.

00:16:45.580 The left has been pushing such nonsense for so long that the Latinos are figuring it out. You know,

00:16:52.320 my husband's Latino. My children are Latino. And this is a group of people, and I don't pretend to

00:16:59.280 know everything, and I hate to clump people together in just one group, but who love America. Many of

00:17:05.360 them, if they came here and became citizens, came here because of what we have here, which is the

00:17:10.800 American dream. Many have been born here in our fifth generation Arizonans, and they don't like

00:17:17.260 the direction this state is going. They don't want to become California. Or longer. A lot of folks

00:17:24.140 there have been in that state for, you know, I'm going to say, what, 10 generations? Since before we

00:17:29.700 were a country. I used to work in Yuma, Arizona, and some of the folks there have been there forever.

00:17:36.020 And what is interesting is, I was going to comment about this changing the face of America.

00:17:43.340 The face of America is what it is. It's like the expression, you know, you've got to be a nativist

00:17:49.200 if you're worried about border security. Okay, so if you're a nativist, that means you embrace every

00:17:53.980 minority in the country. The largest group, minority group in the country is a burgeoning majority,

00:18:00.000 and that is Hispanic Americans. People are just so ignorant about this issue of border security and

00:18:07.320 illegal immigration, and the left loves to drive this as a racial issue. It's pure nonsense, and only,

00:18:16.220 only the globalist elite, corporatist national media make it possible for them to get away with that kind

00:18:23.220 of bunkum. Well, they don't have good policies. They don't have good ideas, and whenever you make a good

00:18:28.620 point, and you start to bring people over to your side, they just call you racist, and America's onto it.

00:18:34.860 We're so tired of that divisive politics. We want solutions, and America first is the way out of the mess

00:19:40.920 You know, it's great to hear you say that, and I know you will do that, but as I watch the corrupt

00:19:48.080 political left in this country, the Marxist left that I believe really are driving the

00:19:53.940 Democrat Party nationally. The courts, the Supreme Court, they won't accept how they rule. The left

00:20:02.580 won't accept what is a decision, whether it's on the Second Amendment, whether it is on the right to

00:20:10.100 life. And they're becoming something similar to the left of the 1960s. But in this important way,

00:20:20.440 they are different. They're anti-free speech. They're anti-free thought. They want you to do

00:20:57.200 the possibilities of the left. Your thoughts? I agree. And I think I've heard President Trump

00:21:03.880 talk about it. It'll be the end of the Democrat Party if they keep pushing it this far. But what

00:21:08.100 I'm seeing on the campaign trail, which is so exciting, and one of the reasons I got into this

00:21:12.420 is for my children. I have a 17-year-old who's almost 18, and I have a 19-year-old. And I am so worried

00:21:18.820 that they will not have the opportunities that I had when I came to Arizona. I'm worried they won't have

00:21:24.160 the freedoms that we had. I'm worried about their future. And I'm so pleased to see the young people

00:21:30.280 coming in and becoming a part of our campaign by the droves. I think the biggest group we have with

00:21:36.360 us, and it's so unusual in politics, Lou, is young people, 18 to say 30 years old. They had their lives

00:21:43.740 turned upside down in the past few years, and they are not becoming Democrats. I know that the media

00:21:49.220 wants everyone to think the young people are all liberals. They're not. And you can see it in our

00:21:54.280 campaign. They are, their hair's on fire. They know what's going on. They're realizing that their

00:22:00.120 freedoms are being taken away, and their future is going to be very bleak if they don't get involved

00:22:04.720 politically. I was just at an event last night, and as I was leaving, there was a table of five

00:22:09.740 young people. They were between 20 and 23 years old, and all of them said, oh my gosh, we are voting

00:22:15.780 for you. Or some of them had already voted for me, because we have early voting here in Arizona.

00:22:21.240 We vote for an entire month, unfortunately, rather than just a day. But it's so encouraging. Everywhere

00:22:27.080 I go, young people are getting involved in the America First movement. It's kind of become the

00:22:32.320 counterculture, right? It's not cool to be with Joe Biden and the illegitimate administration who's

00:22:37.860 trying to destroy America. It's cool to be with the patriots and the people who love this country and

00:22:44.160 are trying to save it. Yep. President Biden will be called a lot of things, and most of them he will

00:22:51.100 be called accurately. But one thing he will not be called at all, and that is cool. I'm pretty sure of

00:22:57.220 that. Let's turn to, right now, your thoughts about the state of Arizona itself. Unemployment,

00:23:07.900 job opportunities, entrepreneurial opportunities, the state of the society. Because we are seeing,

00:23:16.260 we've talked about drug overdoses, we've talked about the failure of the education system,

00:23:20.860 and I note in your state that they now have decided that you don't have to have a college degree to be

00:23:26.400 a teacher. That's certainly a step forward that I think probably, I haven't asked you, but I would

00:23:32.800 think you wouldn't be too thrilled with. But Ducey apparently is thrilled with it. Give us a sense

00:23:39.420 of what Arizona is right now. Just give us a synopsis, if you will.

00:23:47.500 Arizona's an amazing state. We're on the verge of going and becoming, I think, the greatest state

00:23:52.460 in the country. We do have some great economic news that's out there. We're a healthy state to

00:23:58.140 come and start a business. Unfortunately, we had a governor who was a businessman who shut the state

00:24:02.860 down twice and closed a lot of businesses, and many of them never were able to reopen.

00:24:08.020 So we're going to start with policies that never do that again. We will never shut this state down.

00:24:13.080 We will never force somebody to close their business. And we're going to expand from that,

00:24:17.680 and we're going to try to bring our taxes down, bring the regulations down so that businesses can

00:24:22.500 thrive here. One of the problems is not that we don't have enough jobs. We don't have enough

00:24:27.020 people to fill the jobs. And I talk to industry leaders all the time, whether it be in construction,

00:24:32.160 whether they need machinists, whatever the jobs they need to fill. We don't have the qualified

00:24:36.500 people. And that's why in my education plan, it goes into many details. But one of the ideas that

00:24:43.900 we're putting forth, and we hope to work with all the stakeholders, all the shareholders, and make

00:24:48.980 sure that we get this accomplished, is a dual-track education. Right in high school, after 10th grade,

00:24:54.360 if you want to go for your college degree route, go for it. Awesome. We're going to help you do that.

00:25:00.980 But we need people who know they're not going to go to college. They don't maybe want to go to

00:25:04.880 college. And we need to get vocational training, skills training, certification, a lot of jobs in

00:25:11.600 big fields from medicine, right down to construction, into real estate. You don't need to have a four-year

00:25:18.200 college degree. And we want to fill those jobs. That's frankly where the money is right now.

00:25:23.100 I was at a school in southern Arizona where they have brought in a welding program, where they brought

00:25:29.440 in culinary arts. And I think this is maybe what our governor is getting at and you're referring to.

00:25:34.620 We need people to teach those skills where the jobs are. And if that means bringing in an instructor

00:25:39.220 to a school who doesn't have a college degree, but they know how to teach welding, then we want you to

00:25:44.200 come in and help teach our kids that. The purpose of education is not to send everybody off to college

00:25:49.400 to go in debt and become woke. The purpose of education is to educate our children for the jobs

00:25:54.760 and opportunities that are out there. And that welding program, by the way, these kids, 100% of

00:26:00.880 them are getting offers between $70,000 and $100,000 straight out of high school with full benefits.

00:26:08.780 This is where the money is. It's not going to get a, you know, basket weaving, underwater basket weaving

00:26:15.120 degree in college and then end up working at the Starbucks and being in a mountain of debt.

00:26:19.800 And then saddle the student with $100,000 in debt or their families. You know, I tell people when I

00:26:26.860 talk about the subject, I've always said, go to community college, go to vocational training.

00:26:33.900 My high school, we had shop, we had welding, you name it, woodwork, carpentry, in addition to the

00:26:43.280 academic campaign. I mean, that's 100 years ago. We need that. I talk to people all the time. I go,

00:26:49.520 how many of you remember when we used to do this? And I will, I would be willing to bet Lou that even

00:26:54.640 the men and women who are doctors and attorneys and architects, whatever, even if they needed a

00:26:59.620 college degree would look back at high school and say, the class I use most was that shop class I

00:27:05.680 took. You know, we all can learn from that, but we, we have a lot of jobs in Arizona. We don't have
