00:00:52.700I want to begin, though, with his opening statement.
00:00:55.120Just to outline it, if you guys didn't have the time or didn't want to waste your time
00:00:58.400watching this low life. It's a few minutes long, but it's his opening statement. I think it's a
00:01:02.440little bit important because Jack Smith ensures us that he's nonpartisan, that he's this
00:01:07.880holier than thou figure who had no animus towards President Trump, had no animus towards
00:01:14.360Republicans or anybody. He was simply doing his job. But the problem is Jack Smith's track record
00:01:19.780shows something quite different throughout his years. We're going to talk a little bit about
00:01:24.000We're going to talk about some issues he's had at the Supreme Court in previous cases, some issues he's had at the International Court, the Hague, to which he was kicked to the curb, because he's quite honestly been a dirtbag his entire life, his entire prosecutorial life, doing whatever he wanted to do, following absolutely no guidelines.
00:01:42.640So I guess there was really no better man to go after President Trump to investigate President Trump.
00:01:50.100I would say Robert Mueller, but he had the advanced signs of dementia at that point.
00:01:55.180So I don't think they could have trusted him again.
00:01:57.140But I think when you look down the list of people that Jack Smith, there was no better person than him to do this job.
00:02:05.980So I want to start begin tonight with with his opening statement and his line, because it started as soon as he walked in that room with the tales and the fables and the fibs that he was telling.
00:02:16.300Now, watch him with a straight face and say you could tell someone's a sociopath.
00:02:20.460Here he is. Chairman Grassley, Ranking Member Durbin, members of the committee.
00:02:25.620Thank you for the opportunity to discuss my work as special counsel.
00:02:30.020I've been fortunate to serve a country that I love for nearly 30 years in local, national, and international settings.
00:02:38.960My service has spanned both Republican and Democratic administrations.
00:02:43.900I am not a politician, and I have no partisan loyalty.
00:02:48.840My career has been dedicated to serving our country by upholding the rule of law and the core principles upon which our country was founded.
00:02:58.260I believe there is no role for politics in the proper administration of justice.
00:03:04.600A prosecutor's decisions must be based on the facts and the law.
00:03:09.740The status, power, prominence, or political affiliation of the subject of an investigation
00:03:16.700must play no role in the decision to investigate, prosecute, or decline to prosecute.
00:03:24.180I approached my role as special counsel following these principles the special
00:03:30.240counsel's office followed Justice Department policy observed legal
00:03:34.780requirements and took actions based on the facts and the law I stand by my
00:03:41.280decisions as special counsel including my decision to bring charges against
00:03:45.900President Trump I made those decisions without regard to President Trump's
00:03:51.300political association activities beliefs or candidacy in the 2024 presidential election
00:04:00.900our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that president trump engaged
00:04:06.820in serious crimes against our nation if asked whether to prosecute a former president
00:04:14.020today based on the same facts i would do so regardless of whether that president
00:04:19.540was a republican or a democrat the charges against president trump were the result of the evidence
00:04:28.100grand juries in two separate districts reached this conclusion based on his actions as alleged
00:04:35.060in the indictments they returned rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 presidential election
00:04:42.020president trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results and prevent the lawful
00:04:48.660transfer of power. After leaving office in January of 2021, President Trump illegally
00:04:55.640kept classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago social club and repeatedly tried to obstruct
00:05:01.860justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents. Highly sensitive national
00:05:08.760security information was held in a bathroom and a ballroom where events and gatherings
00:05:14.980took place. As with my appearance before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the
00:05:21.820Judiciary, I am prepared to answer your questions truthfully. I stand by my testimony before the
00:05:28.420House of Representatives, and I will not be silenced by continued threats of prosecution
00:05:35.280from the President or others. As I appear before you today, it is my belief that the rule of law
00:05:43.700faces challenges unlike any we have experienced in our lifetime. Individuals are threatened with
00:05:51.060criminal prosecution because they are perceived to have opposed the president. Predetermined
00:05:57.320outcomes increasingly seem to take precedence over the Justice Department's long-standing core
00:06:03.100values and traditions. History teaches that the rule of law is rarely destroyed all at once.
00:06:09.460It's often weakened by attacks on the institutions and the public servants sworn to uphold it.
00:06:17.160Since January of 2025, we have witnessed precisely such an effort, including the vilification of the agents, prosecutors and staff who worked on my team, simply because of their unwavering dedication to the rule of law.
00:06:34.280I myself have been threatened with jail by the president of the United States.
00:06:39.460However, I remain confident that the rule of law will endure because so many continue to uphold it faithfully each day.
00:06:50.000Throughout our legal system, public servants have remained faithful to their oaths, despite extraordinary pressure to do otherwise.
00:06:59.600Their example demonstrates that while fear may be contagious, courage is as well.
00:07:07.180Thank you for the opportunity to testify today. I look forward to your questions.
00:07:14.420Is that not the biggest joke in the world? How many lives did he go through there?
00:07:20.940He talked. We'll start with the grand jury that he impaneled the two grand juries.
00:07:25.480I'm sure those weren't handpicked at all. I'm sure they were completely honorable decisions because Jack Smith is an honorable person.
00:07:33.460Right. After just watching that, a guy who sits there with a straight face like that can't possibly be a lying SOB, but he is the rules, the laws that he alleges President Trump broke.
00:07:46.440By the way, those cases were thrown out before he got there because one smart judge down in Florida, Eileen Cannon, realized that this is a political hit job.
00:07:56.280And we're going to tell you a little bit more about the information we found out today to find out that it was even more politically motivated down to the granular level of people like you and I than originally expected.
00:08:10.080How it was politically motivated in the point of targeting media, targeting individual Americans, donors.
00:08:20.100That's not politically motivated, Jack.
00:08:22.340there's no political motivation to getting records that we're going to tell you about
00:08:27.640in just a few moments the lies and deceit from this man with a straight face and of course the
00:08:34.440democrats revere him as this honorable character who's just a great public servant he then mentions
00:08:43.300his prosecutors who were fired many now who we find out went around loopholes i wouldn't even
00:08:50.340call them loopholes, but this is what the media calls them loopholes. I call it straight out
00:08:55.240criminal activity to issue subpoenas, to subpoena documents, to gag order members of Congress
00:09:04.960from finding out that the White House was involved in these schemes.
00:09:09.600This is something like we've never seen before in this country. And the two crimes that he accused
00:09:14.980President Trump of? The willful retention of classified documents, which would have went to
00:09:20.460the Supreme Court and been overruled because the president has absolute immunity and power.
00:09:26.180And from legal precedent and what we've seen, when the president takes something out of a
00:09:30.000classified Senate by default, it is declassified. The only person in this country who can do that.
00:09:38.400you had mike pence retention of classified documents they decided not to prosecute
00:09:46.440joe biden retention of documents in his garage and they said we can't prosecute because he's
00:09:53.600for brains the guy's brains are scrambled eggs but the media's out there every day telling us
00:10:00.500president trump's got dementia president trump is dying he's got a bruise on his hand he's losing it
00:10:04.940so where's the double stand i mean that's not a double standard one day you're telling us he's
00:10:12.000dying and he's lost his mind he's got dementia but then the next day he's great to withstand
00:10:16.240trial for 700 years in jail for crimes that are in crimes and of course the second crime in which
00:10:22.040she speaks about january 6th which i think was the greatest fed surrection this country's ever
00:10:26.800seen before not my opinion this is the fact we've looked at how many government witnesses were there
00:10:35.900how many government agents were there which is odd in my opinion why they would be there
00:10:42.100the whole capital scam the breaking of windows that that's a whole different story but so then
00:10:50.000he goes on to say president trump you know sought to stay in power the odd thing is jack is you
00:10:55.060didn't prosecute him or persecute him rather or investigate him until after he left office
00:10:59.720so he willingly left office but here you're sitting us sitting here telling us that he had
00:11:08.060no plans to leave office and he wanted to stay in power so which one is it because the facts just0.99
00:11:12.540don't align with what your opinion is scumbag we're going to take a quick break your life0.96
00:11:17.180tonight for the grand america show so let us know tap in let us know where you're tuned in from let's0.99
00:11:20.360get this chat fired up let's get this chat rip roaring a shout out to everyone who's in we're
00:11:23.900going to try to get to your stuff before the end of tonight's show a lot more to get to on the other
00:11:28.740side of this quick break jack smith collected nearly 5 000 personal checks 5 000 not from
00:11:35.520politicians from individual americans like you and i we're not talking thousand dollar checks
00:11:43.960two thousand dollar checks we're talking 10 to 15 dollar checks we're coming right back on the
00:11:49.760other side of this quick break so please stay with us the great america show continues in just
00:11:52.620moments don't turn that down thanks everybody for staying with us here live tonight for the
00:12:02.040great america show we truly appreciate you guys tuning in be sure to tap in on that chat let us
00:12:05.460know where you're tuned in from if you're enjoying the great america show and we appreciate like i
00:12:08.560said at any time you guys are live with us so 5 000 almost 5 000 well we want to be accurate here
00:12:14.480So it was like 4,000 and change, 4,782 ordinary Americans targeted by Jack Smith.
00:12:27.000Well, they're personal people, personal checks from people who donated to President Trump or Trump aligned groups from the dates of September of 2019 to August of 2023.
00:12:38.080these were of course all acquired as part of arctic frost the election scam this allowed the
00:12:45.440biden doj a department of injustice that is and the fbi to gain access nearly 5 000 americans
00:12:51.240highly sensitive information from all 50 states this wasn't just people in dc or in red florida
00:12:57.960or red texas all around imagine that we just find out about this now two years in the president
00:13:04.780Trump's administration. We're just finding out about it. Senator Chuck Grass, who chairs up
00:13:09.540that committee, had some words to say for Mr. Jackson. Acquired financial information. As I sit
00:13:14.240here right now, I cannot recite to you every subpoena we issued. I can tell you why we issued
00:13:19.780subpoenas, and it was to conduct a criminal investigation of one of the most serious crimes
00:13:25.160that's ever happened in our nation's history. I had a duty to collect facts. Let me say,
00:13:30.140indeed you did and you answered yes accordingly to protect disclosures to my office you obtained
00:13:37.020at least 4,782 donor checks many of those checks were five to ten dollars the list includes checks
00:13:47.180from constituents in every state of every single member of this committee both republicans and
00:13:53.580Democrats, it included 42 checks from Iowans who dared to donate money to Republicans.
00:14:00.640No matter what you say, there is no legitimate basis for what you did, especially since your
00:14:07.120staff killed in an investigation into the Clinton campaign. Donations to Republican groups wasn't
00:14:15.400necessary for your investigation, which is proved out by the fact that it was not mentioned in your
00:14:22.380public report. Now the Justice Department and the FBI will forever possess thousands of people's
00:14:29.580address, phone number, bank and bank account number, bank routing number, and a copy of their
00:14:37.980true signature. Every member of this committee ought to be outraged for what happened to their
00:14:43.520constituents. I hope my Democratic colleagues will join me in this outrage. Question number three.
00:14:50.540In October last year, I asked you this question, but you never responded.
00:14:57.380Did you ever use a personal device for work purposes to include communications such as email, text, or creation or editing of work product?
00:15:08.740If so, do you commit to providing that material to the committee?
00:15:12.920If not, are you testifying that you've complied with all federal record requirements?
00:15:18.380yes when i first became special counsel i did not have a government phone or government computer
00:15:29.560and so in the initial days when i was uh appointed and i was still living in the netherlands uh i did
00:15:36.640use a personal device and email interesting so just off that point real quickly uh he used a
00:15:44.920personal device. But this is a man who presumably, presumably had some sort of security clearance if
00:15:50.360he's going to be investigating these files, these highly sensitive classified documents that
00:15:54.940President Trump stole and put in the bathroom in the ballroom Mar-a-Lago. Presumably, Jack Smith
00:15:59.960used a government phone that's encrypted. Otherwise, he'd be guilty of the same crime
00:16:04.860that Hillary Clinton was committing, which, of course, she wasn't convicted of or prosecuted for
00:16:10.260because James Comey had this lovable admiration for her.
00:17:34.660So every dollar does count the campaign.0.97
00:17:36.600But in my time of working campaigns, I can't tell you how many times or we'd get cash that we'd have to send back from an elderly person.0.99
00:17:43.860This is you know, this is all I could afford. But I want to show you that I'm supporting the campaign.1.00
00:17:47.540So so put that in perspective. To the 5000 number that this scumbag subpoenaed from 50 states, I have to assume I'm probably in there as well.0.95
00:17:57.520this is him this is this is jack smith the big tough guy who was getting to the bottom of crimes0.93
00:18:05.460the crime supporting president trump we're live tonight folks tune in uh jumping on that chat let
00:18:11.280us know where you're tuned in from uh we got another uh revelation today of jack smith's
00:18:17.040illegal spy gate i guess we can call it who was jack smith spying on it wasn't just ordinary
00:18:22.840americans he had another ulterior motive we're going to tell you all about it on the other side
00:18:27.260this quick break so don't turn that dial we'll come right back thanks everybody for staying with
00:18:36.400us here live tonight for the great america show if you're not fired in on that chat tune into that
00:18:39.560chat let us know if you're joining us on rumble or facebook or twitter or youtube uh we appreciate
00:18:44.600it if you're not joining us on youtube and you're joining us on facebook or somewhere else we try to
00:18:48.420get we're gonna try to move some of the audience over to youtube but we've been doing a pretty
00:18:51.860decently good job uh at getting a way broader audience here it's it's been one of the hardest
00:18:56.960things i've had to do in my life to be honest with you is grow an audience on youtube but
00:18:59.960we do have a dedicated base over there that do tune into us each and every night so uh if you're
00:19:04.460not joining us there if you're joining us on audio if you can join us on youtube uh doesn't
00:19:08.140have to be live you can catch us it's the nice thing about these podcasts is you can catch us
00:19:12.580on the way to work at the gym on the way home from work as you're going to bed whatever it's
00:19:17.040the nice thing about uh this medium you don't have to be anywhere at any time and we just ask
00:19:23.500that you listen and uh i think we do have a pretty dedicated audience and i do truly truly
00:19:28.080from the bottom of my heart appreciate you guys so 5 000 checks nearly 5 000 i want to be accurate
00:19:33.0604 000 and change of innocent americans who just like i said the crime was donated for as president
00:19:38.540trump it turns out jack smith also obtained records that was canadian communications between
00:19:44.300nearly 50 journalists and trump administration officials including but not limited to fox news
00:19:50.560personnel of course after subpoenaing text messages and records associated with dozens
00:19:55.220of white house phones during the federal election investigation into president trump
00:19:58.580fox news obtaining these documents that show the utter corruption the communications appeared in
00:20:06.560records produced by the national archives in response to a subpoena seeking materials
00:20:10.360associated with 87 white house phones from president trump's first administration fox
00:20:16.380news of course among one of the organizations uh whose journalist appeared in the records
00:20:20.280i have to assume probably lou dobbs is in there i think we're gonna have to try to get these records
00:20:24.680along with cnn cbs news news news magazine uh 60 minutes nbc news cnbc records also included
00:20:33.480communications involving journalists from the wall street journal the washington post
00:20:37.100bloomberg the la times new york magazine reuters associated press npr as well as the federalist
00:20:43.480and The Washington Times. What do those all have in common? Most of them, for the most part,
00:20:48.800are pretty conservative-leaning or down-the-middle-leaning news organizations.
00:20:54.940Here's Senator Chuck Grassley, or I should say Chairman Chuck Grassley, on Jack Smith's latest
00:21:00.440scheme. Smith's subpoenas targeted hundreds of Republican groups and individuals. He subpoenaed
00:21:10.200communications those folks had with media and with the legislative branch. He also subpoenaed 87
00:21:20.700Trump White House phones, knowing that they'd include communications with members of Congress,
00:21:29.78044 members, just to be exact. He failed to filter out speech and debate privilege information
00:21:39.700even though he and his teams knew that they'd scoop it up with their request.
00:21:47.080What I can say today is that Smith also obtained communications from members of the media
00:21:54.820to include 60 Minutes, Associated Press, Bloomberg, CBS, CNBC, CNN, Fox News,
00:22:06.260L.A. Times, Mark Levin Show, Media Research Center, NBC, NPR, New York Magazine, Royer's, The Federalist, The Washington Post, Washington Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
00:22:26.440Now, what will partisan media say about this disgraceful government overreach?
00:22:36.960I want to hear their response, and I will if they are responsible media.
00:22:45.300This wasn't a normal prosecution by any means.
00:24:30.960Rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 presidential election, President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results and prevent the lawful transfer of power.
00:24:45.060After leaving office in January of 2021, President Trump illegally kept classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago Social Club and repeated.
00:24:54.640You don't have to listen to the lies of that anymore, but I just want to reiterate there.
00:25:00.960His lies. There was a peaceful transition of powers. A matter of fact, Joe Biden, who apparently hates President Trump mightily, Trump left before he even swore himself in, before the corpse of Joe Biden was even sworn in. He did him a favor. He didn't even show up.
00:25:17.820Doesn't sound like a man who was there with a military ready to take over the country from a militia.1.00
00:25:27.420I mean, the stupidity of it and people take this guy's word seriously.1.00
00:25:35.280I mean, he's corrupt as anybody ever seen in my life.1.00
00:25:42.500Josh Hawley had some tense words for Mr. Smith.
00:25:46.700uh mr smith i have to start by saying i think that maybe i underestimated you i underestimated
00:25:53.680in particular your comedic talent i've been watching this whole hearing i've watched
00:25:58.200everything you said i noticed that you began by saying i have no partisan loyalty and you
00:26:03.840repeated over and over and over there's nothing in your investigation about politics that's
00:26:08.720hilarious in fact your investigation was all about politics from day one your investigation
00:26:15.000so-called, your prosecution so-called, was nothing other than an attempt to interfere
00:26:20.320politically in a presidential election in the United States of America.
00:26:26.280You twice indicted a presidential candidate, the leading presidential candidate and a former
00:26:32.480president of the United States, during a presidential election against all Justice Department
00:26:36.980policy, against all Justice Department history, something never before seen or contemplated
00:26:43.080in 250 years of this country's history, you did it anyway, all for the purpose of keeping Donald
00:26:48.660Trump off the ballot, all for the purpose of denying the voters an opportunity to vote on a
00:26:56.020former president of the United States and at the time the Republican nominee for president. We've
00:27:01.500never seen anything like it in our country's history before. If you'd had your way, our elections in
00:27:05.700this country would be like Russia's, the one they just held. Oh, they had an election, sure. And they
00:27:10.220had an opposition. Sure. It's just that Putin chose the opposition, which is exactly what
00:27:15.560the Biden Justice Department wanted to do with Donald J. Trump. And that's exactly what
00:27:21.220you were doing. Justice Department policy. That's funny from Holly, as there is such
00:27:27.740thing. I guess there is such thing if you're Todd Blanche and Kash Patel following the
00:27:33.660rules, as opposed to Jack Smith and Merrick Garland and the lives there who just ran this
00:30:25.380I do not recall because I have not seen those subpoenas in a very long time.
00:30:30.260But I'm happy to explain why we issued.
00:30:33.100Look, I get you want to dance and avoid the questions.
00:30:35.320I understand it because you can't answer a simple, straightforward question.
00:30:38.580All in all, you issued one hundred and ninety seven subpoenas to thirty four individuals, at least in one hundred and sixty three businesses.
00:30:45.000And you sought records on at least four hundred and thirty Republican individuals and entities.
00:30:50.740Is that right? And you're going to say you don't remember. Is that correct?
00:30:53.860I do not recall those numbers. I understand.
00:30:56.900You know, if you look at the list, there is one thing that is consistent.
00:31:00.500every name on it is a Republican. Is it your view? Is it a crime to be a Republican?
00:31:08.140Absolutely not, sir. Is it a crime to write a check to Republicans?
00:31:12.540It is not. And I'm happy to explain why we issued these subpoenas, if you'd like.
00:31:18.240Sure. Briefly, we had to conduct an investigation about whether any person
00:31:23.980or entity violated the law with respect to the attempt to block the peaceful transfer of power.
00:31:30.500to make that decision. Yes, I understand. And you use that as an excuse to engage in a massive
00:31:35.260fishing expedition targeting over 400 Republicans. And it was disgraceful. Let's just talk about
