00:00:33.660 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. Welcome to The Great America Show. Good to have you with us.
00:00:39.140 President Trump in a Fort Pierce federal courtroom yesterday afternoon for a hearing to dismiss Jack Smith's Mar-a-Lago documents case.
00:00:47.800 While Judge Eileen Cannon has yet to dismiss the case, it seems the odds are increasingly in President Trump's favor.
00:00:56.800 Judge Cannon hammered the fact that no former president or vice president has ever been charged under the Espionage Act for taking and keeping classified records,
00:01:08.700 which represents 32 of the counts in this indictment against President Trump.
00:01:14.440 Cannon asked Jay Bratt, who represents the special counsel office, when the alleged crime began.
00:01:22.820 Bratt responded, saying the crime of retaining the documents began the day President Trump left office on January 20, 2021,
00:01:32.840 because at that point he was no longer president and unable to have those documents.
00:01:38.100 Judge Cannon again asked for historical precedent as to when a former president or, importantly, a vice president faced charges for similar conduct.
00:01:49.660 Bratt had to admit that there is absolutely no such historical precedent.
00:01:56.060 Cannon then mentioned the title vice president on numerous occasions throughout the hearing and for a good reason.
00:02:03.260 Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Mike Pence all kept classified documents and none of them, none of them has any power to declassify.
00:02:14.340 Yet none, none ever faced charges of any kind, unlike President Trump.
00:02:21.100 Now here is the part where the junkyard jackals team may have really hurt their so-called case and themselves.
00:02:27.900 Jay Bratt claimed that President Trump's security clearance expired when President Trump left office.
00:02:35.580 But that is not true.
00:02:37.840 Trump's attorneys raised the issue asking if that were the case,
00:02:42.300 then why did President Trump have to revoke John Brennan's security clearance if the clearance just expires out of midair?
00:02:50.780 There is also another issue.
00:02:52.320 When the Department of Energy learned of Jack Smith's indictment of President Trump in 2023,
00:02:58.600 they retroactively revoked his Q security clearance.
00:03:03.460 To that, Judge Cannon asked a very simple question.
00:03:07.600 If there is no formal process for authorizing or removing a president's security clearance,
00:03:13.820 why did the Department of Energy need to memorialize it post-indictment?
00:03:18.560 And to that, Bratt, of course, had absolutely no answer.
00:03:23.820 As I said, the odds increasingly are looking very much in President Trump's favor,
00:03:29.460 and this case could well be dismissed on selective prosecution.
00:03:34.300 President Trump, in an interview with Greg Kelly last night,
00:03:37.840 said all these persecutions against him are all a reflection of how bad a president Joe Biden has been.
00:03:44.900 And Biden is taking it out on him to stop him from regaining the Oval Office.
00:03:50.740 They see how bad, how pathetic Biden's been.
00:03:53.240 He's the worst president in the history of our country.
00:03:55.660 He's corrupt.
00:03:56.740 He's incompetent.
00:03:58.180 He's weaponized the justice system to go after his political opponent, which has never been done before.
00:04:03.520 And he's the worst president we've ever had.
00:04:05.680 He's not respected at all in foreign.
00:04:07.460 Look, you wouldn't have Russia attacking Ukraine.
00:04:11.640 You wouldn't have Israel being attacked.
00:04:13.260 Iran was broke when I was president.
00:04:14.680 They were broke because of me.
00:04:16.900 Let's say they were broke and they didn't have the money to give to Hamas or Hezbollah.
00:04:23.600 All of these things, you wouldn't have inflation because it was caused by energy.
00:04:27.660 All of these things were things that were very preventable, not preventable by him.
00:04:34.160 And the problem we have, we have seven months to go, a little more than seven months to go.
00:04:38.440 That's an eternity when you have incompetent people running the government.
00:04:41.580 Our guest today is former NSA senior intelligence analyst Russ Tice and whistleblower.
00:04:48.120 Russ, it's great to have you with us.
00:04:50.040 I want to start with a number of things that are going on, one of which is the National Intelligence Community Assessment that shows the world order.
00:04:58.200 You're now experiencing what the intel guys called some fragility.
00:05:02.740 Isn't that cute?
00:05:04.160 I didn't think much of that as a conclusion from our intel agencies, given all of the power they've got, including brain power.
00:05:11.360 What do you take from it?
00:05:13.540 Well, you probably could have got the same assessment from, I don't know, a kindergartner or something who watches the news every now and then amongst his cartoonist, you know, a regiment.
00:05:23.480 Yeah, the world's in a mess, and imagine how that happened from four years ago when we stopped producing our own energy and we start, you know, basically allowing everybody to stomp all over us.
00:05:40.800 And the world's saying, hey, the U.S. isn't a problem anymore, so we can do what we want.
00:05:48.660 So, yeah, that's the problem, and it will be until we get a new guy in that White House.
00:05:55.200 Well, if there's time to get a new guy in the White House, China, it turns out, has been trying to normalize for months now, normalize military drills near Taiwan.
00:06:10.120 That, according to the island's top security official, and it begs the question, what do the Chinese intend when it comes to Taiwan?
00:06:22.760 Why are they trying to normalize military drills?
00:06:27.220 And I know you've been doing some considerable analysis about the Chinese, the mainland Chinese, thinking about when they might want to invade Taiwan.
00:06:38.800 Let's go down that list, if we may.
00:06:41.880 When would be, in your judgment, the best opportunity in terms of weather and sea conditions for the Chinese PLA to invade Taiwan?
00:06:56.780 Well, Taiwan, they have some interesting weather.
00:06:59.600 Basically, they have to deal with the monsoon season and the typhoon season.
00:07:04.240 The typhoon season has basically started the early spring and into summer, into the fall.
00:07:12.100 Then, immediately after that, starts the monsoon season, where you get a whole lot of rain.
00:07:17.540 We've just ended the monsoon season, as a matter of fact, just a couple days ago.
00:07:21.680 Actually, right about now.
00:07:24.540 Here's the interesting thing.
00:07:25.600 The very best weather in Taiwan, if you want to go there on a vacation, I wouldn't suggest it now, but it would be the months of March and April.
00:07:35.400 Now, if you're a military planner and you want to do something like an invasion across the body of water, especially like 100 miles across the sea, you're going to need a couple things.
00:07:44.460 You're going to need good weather.
00:07:46.360 You're going to need dry land where you don't want mud to deal with, and you don't want choppy seas.
00:07:55.160 Right now, Taiwan is experiencing good weather with sun and fairly strong winds, and what that does is that dries things out from the monsoon season.
00:08:07.980 And for the next week and a half to two weeks, they're slated to have good weather on Taiwan.
00:08:13.880 And like I said, March and April, the best weather.
00:08:17.560 So if you're going to come across those straights, especially with some kind of souped-up landing craft or whatever,
00:08:24.240 and then you're going to have to do operations on that east side or however you want to hit them, you're going to need good weather.
00:08:31.500 And right now, right now, and this month and next month is the best time to do that right now.
00:08:37.440 And these drills that are going on right now, do you think that that could have the intended purpose of getting ready for a launch of amphibious craft to carry an invading force into Taiwan?
00:08:56.740 Well, think about that.
00:09:01.540 Think about what the Egyptians did when they finally went across in the early 70s.
00:09:10.620 They would feign an attack, and they'd pull back.
00:09:13.240 They'd feign an attack, and they'd pull back.
00:09:14.920 They'd feign an attack, and they'd pull back.
00:09:16.640 And the Israelis would call up their troops and stand them down, call up, stand them down.
00:09:21.180 And after a while, the Israelis got to the point where they're like, well, these are just drills.
00:09:26.460 It's ultimately you're conditioning your potential enemy to give them a false sense of security because you charge so many times, and then you pull back.
00:09:38.480 And finally, everybody thinks you're always bluffing, and then at some point, you actually go through.
00:09:44.580 Now, here's something very interesting that's happening right now.
00:09:48.000 The Pengu Islands, which are snubbed up real close to China but are controlled by Taiwan, now they have 24-7 PLA Navy controls going around that island.
00:10:03.100 This is something that has not happened before.
00:10:05.600 So why would they have to do that?
00:10:07.780 Because they don't want, if they're going to do an invasion, they don't want a pre-warning going out to Taiwan that crafts are coming through that bay by that island.
00:10:18.680 So they would have to be able to go around that island and ultimately jam any signals when the time comes.
00:10:23.860 Well, jamming signals, given the ability of now all these forms of reconnaissance that we have, we are looking down on everything from about 300 miles in orbit.
00:10:42.880 And it's very hard now for anyone to make a move without being detected by satellites.
00:10:51.880 I know that, obviously, we have them, the Chinese have them, the Russians have them.
00:10:56.480 But right now, isn't it impossible for them to launch an invading force without seeing the buildup of the necessary forces that would be required to carry out a successful invasion?
00:11:12.900 Well, even with satellites, and I just happen to know a lot about that field, there's normally gaps in satellite coverage.
00:11:20.980 Because you can't, like, park a satellite right over top of the Taiwan Straits because they have to move around the Earth, depending on what orbit they're in, whether they're low orbit or medium orbit or a HEO orbit on the equator.
00:11:36.120 And then there's a couple other orbits that they don't have to deal with in here.
00:11:39.540 There's some of our satellites, they do polar orbits, too.
00:11:45.700 But unless you have a constellation that's fully developed and set up for 24-7 coverage, which we do not, then you're not going to always have satellite coverage.
00:11:58.540 And then there's also the capability to jam satellites as well.
00:12:01.920 And that's a field that I really can't talk about right now because of the classification levels involved in all that.
00:12:11.080 But there's a war going, I'll say this, there's a war going on in space, and it has been for the last three decades.
00:12:16.840 That there's all kinds of things going on, counter space to do nasty things about other folks.
00:12:23.320 And what they intend to do are assets in space, and it's been going on for a while.
00:12:29.780 So, yes, we have overhead capabilities, but that doesn't mean that they're totally capable of covering 24-7 or defenseless against.
00:12:49.620 I mean, I should say, you know, that they could use some kind of measure to mitigate our capability in space.
00:12:57.500 We're talking with Russ Tice, former senior intelligence analyst for the National Security Agency.
00:13:04.800 We're going to continue with Russ's view of what the prospects are for the PLA to actually do something in the coming days of this month and the days of next month.
00:13:19.780 Stay with us. We'll be right back.
00:13:23.460 Folks, you know, I beg everyone to get ready for the next crisis.
00:13:27.280 And when it comes, our lives will likely change overnight, whether it's natural disaster, war, or another disease.
00:13:34.220 We have to be ready as we can be.
00:13:36.720 We saw what happened in 2020 when we found ourselves dependent on global supply chains.
00:13:41.660 We're still dependent on China and other countries for more than 90% of all our pharmaceuticals.
00:13:47.080 With clusters of respiratory illnesses popping up around the world and here, we need to be prepared.
00:13:53.140 And now is the time to make certain you have what your family needs when the next crisis hits.
00:13:58.800 Our good friends, Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Drew Penske over at the Wellness Company have put together just what you and I need with the Wellness Company's medical emergency kit.
00:14:08.460 And now the Wellness Company's medical kit provides a solution critical to you and your loved ones.

00:14:55.060 Be ready tomorrow.
00:14:58.620 We're back now talking with Russ Tice, former national security analyst for NSA.
00:15:05.700 Russ, with all of the what may or may not be done to our satellites to either blind them to disrupt them in some way,
00:15:15.980 the reality is, to our knowledge right now, that hasn't been done and that they do have a good lock on what is happening around what's happening in eastern China,
00:15:27.660 and they have a pretty good understanding of what is happening in proximity to Taiwan.
00:15:36.120 Would you agree with that?
00:15:37.440 I would agree with that, but I hate to give away, you know, if I were going to do this, matter of fact, I told you I'm writing this up,
00:15:45.840 but then I decided not to publish it because I'd basically be giving the Chinese a blueprint on how to do it successfully,
00:15:52.180 and I really don't want to do that.
00:15:54.260 But if you could just get enough coverage.
00:15:56.820 We don't want you to do that.
00:15:58.100 But I do want to know, as you understand things right now, our eyes are clear,
00:16:04.820 and we have in focus Taiwan and eastern China that should be revealing to any intelligence analysis by the NSA or any DIA or whatever,
00:16:19.820 or Space Command for that matter.
00:16:22.720 Is that true?
00:16:23.720 That's true, but the Chinese are very good at masking things.
00:16:28.940 They're very good at limiting their radiofrequency communications.
00:16:33.580 They're very good at building huge expanses of tarps that are meant to look like ground cover,
00:16:41.860 and underneath those tarps, they're building or doing things that we don't know that we can't see via optical capabilities.
00:16:51.460 We try to use other measures, you know, like the radar capabilities to see, you know, with the signatures.
00:17:00.880 But the Chinese know what we have, and they do things to mitigate our capabilities.
00:17:06.380 There's all kinds of other indications that are going on here, not just the weather.
00:17:09.820 The Chinese, as far as space, can use their own GLONASS or the Bing Down and or the Russian GLONASS capabilities to do their own targeting.
00:17:22.740 They don't need to use our GPS system, and probably, if anything, they would try to jam it.
00:17:29.380 The PLA has just put, I think, a third aircraft carrier into operation for their Navy.
00:17:35.740 They now have hypersonic missiles that we have to keep a very large standoff for fear of getting our carriers whacked by their hypersonics.
00:17:44.940 There's the situation where the Aussies and our folks in Guam are going to be getting more submarine capabilities in the future and are on hypersonics.
00:18:01.040 So if the Chinese are looking to the future and they want to pick a time,
00:18:05.340 and all of a sudden we're going to be beefing up all our capabilities in Southeast Asia,
00:18:09.580 they'd probably want to do this before that.
00:18:13.300 There's the panda diplomacy that's going on right now.
00:18:15.960 The Chinese are pulling all their pandas out of the United States.
00:18:19.120 The only place left right now where we have a couple pandas is, I think, Atlanta.
00:18:24.160 And, hell, they're pulling them out of Japan, and they're pulling them out of South Korea and Holland and Australia.
00:18:33.400 So, you know, so I guess they figure we can't, you know, steal their pandas and hold them hostage.
00:18:42.960 And there's all kinds of – I'm sorry, go ahead.
00:18:46.200 And maybe I'm being too, you know, perhaps I'm inured to all of this panda diplomacy.
00:18:56.240 Personally, I could care less what they do with their pandas.
00:18:59.300 I'm more interested in what they're doing with the PLA, the number of troops that they have put into the United States crossing our southern border by the tens of thousands.
00:19:10.260 They have, we know, tens of thousands in northern Mexico, south of San Diego, just waiting for some reason to do something.
00:19:20.520 But we know it will be nefarious and it will not be in the interest of the United States.
00:19:25.040 We do not have a clear understanding of how the United States would respond if it did respond to an invasion by Taiwan.
00:19:34.240 This is – and they don't have time for much of what you're suggesting because if they're going to move, as you point out,
00:19:42.100 they have to move by the end of this month, certainly by the end of next month because of the weather patterns.
00:19:47.840 Do you see anything to suggest to you right now that they have made a decision to be aggressive when it comes to Taiwan?
00:20:00.820 Well, Xi Jinping has set himself up as the premier, the president, and the general secretary of the Central Committee.
00:20:13.740 So he is now, you know, arm clad in control.
00:20:17.160 And he's been firing anyone he's considered weak in the military who's not basically a hardliner, he's fired.
00:20:25.300 So I would say that's a pretty good – and he's come right out and said that, you know, okay, we will, if necessary, take Taiwan by force.
00:20:34.900 So – and he's certainly making sure that everyone in his military is ready to roll when need be.
00:20:41.740 Now, I think the biggest concern they're going to have right now is the possibility that the United States will have a president a year from now that will not put up with this.
00:20:49.740 Because right now, I think they believe they have their own president bought and paid for, their own Manchurian president.
00:20:58.420 So if –
00:21:00.120 I agree with you.
00:21:00.620 Now's the time, you know.
00:21:02.660 I think the only thing – as a matter of fact, the closest troops we have nearby are Okinawa.
00:21:08.660 We have, I think, the 18th air wing there.
00:21:10.580 And they would be ready and ready to jump.
00:21:14.280 But I'll bet you dollars, the donuts, that they will get a stand-down order from the president of the United States if and when this happens.
00:21:22.020 So – and our State Department will send a tersely worded demarche, which is basically a letter saying we're not happy that you did this, as they laugh at us.
00:21:32.320 So the stars are all lining up right now.
00:21:36.600 And, of course, there's the big-ticket item that China will do everything they can to take intact are the semiconductor fabrication facilities.
00:21:47.140 We're making all those advanced computer chips, especially those 4, 5, 6 nanometer chips that are especially used for the artificial intelligence world of today.
00:21:57.100 That is the – that would give China like 90 percent of all semiconductor production in the world, and they will grab the world by the short hairs, and they will start squeezing when the time comes when we're going to say we're going to put sanctions on you.
00:22:12.280 And they're going to say, no, you're not, or we're going to cripple your economy.
00:22:15.620 You know, after all the years of threats of decoupling by the United States against China, what we are witnessing right now is a very sobering and concerning reality.
00:22:29.340 The Chinese have begun the decoupling of the relationship with the United States and the dependency on U.S. products, particularly paying a price right now are Apple, without any question, and Tesla.
00:22:49.640 Their sales are dropping like rocks as we watch China decouple from the U.S. products, and those two companies are feeling the pain, the sharpest and the most profound pain in the early moments of this decoupling.
00:23:08.660 And what does that pretend? We'll be talking with Russ Tice about that and much more as we consider whether or not China means to invade Taiwan, and if so, what will the United States do?
00:23:24.160 We'll be right back.
00:23:27.020 Lou Dobbs here. I'm delighted to let you all know that the program Lou Dobbs Tonight has returned to the air.
00:23:33.600 That's right. Lou Dobbs Tonight is back.
00:23:37.960 We're live each and every weeknight at 7 p.m. Eastern and 6 p.m. Central on Rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs.
00:23:47.200 That's Rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs.
00:23:50.300 I hope you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs Tonight as our fight to save this country has only begun.
00:23:57.640 We're back now talking with Russ Tice, a former senior intelligence analyst for NSA.
00:24:09.740 John Brennan telling the intelligence community and doing so in a very loud voice without any shadowing of nuance, telling the intelligence community not to fully brief President Trump should he win the White House.
00:24:27.320 Here we go again, it's 2016 all over again.
00:24:33.820 It is the ignorance of the deep state.
00:24:37.340 They are bald-faced about it now, and they mean to be running this government for as long as they possibly can.
00:24:44.360 We just watched William Burns, the head of the CIA, negotiating ceasefires and making policy instead of running the intelligence community and the CIA.
00:24:58.100 What do you make of Burns just without apology or hesitation coming out and being a policy leader for the Biden regime?
00:25:08.760 Is he the voice behind the curtain for one Joe Biden?
00:25:16.560 Well, he's probably one of them.
00:25:19.160 I would not say probably a puppet master would be a better word and voice, I guess.
00:25:25.720 But I think it's a litany of folks that are involved in this puppetry.
00:25:30.380 The State Department is one, and perhaps a former president who has a spread there by the ocean up there in the Kansas Bay, and maybe some big industrialists and those types.
00:25:46.720 But first of all, in the intelligence community, your job is not to make policy.
00:25:51.320 Your job is to inform the president and the elected leaders of our country, you know, what is going on, whether it's good or bad or whatever.
00:26:02.340 Let them know, you know, what the situation is, what the intelligence is, and then they make the policy.
00:26:08.680 Your job is just to inform and just to stand back and let the elected leaders do what they're supposed to do in the policy.
00:26:15.960 That's the old view, Russ.
00:26:17.640 I mean, we're well past that.
00:26:19.740 We've got the CIA director making policy about ceasefire, foreign policy.
00:26:24.640 We have got the intelligence community telling the deep state exactly how we're going to treat an incoming president if it comes to that.
00:26:34.320 We have a deep state that is making all of the decisions about the federal government.
00:26:40.280 They're in control of every single agency, and no one wants to—everybody wants to repair to a years-ago standard.
00:26:50.240 This is the new reality.
00:26:52.440 This is a regime—this Biden regime is a bunch of hapless fools.
00:26:56.460 No one could believe that the National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, or the silly Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, is running anything.
00:27:11.400 They're just tools of what is now an entrenched deep state, aren't they, in your judgment?
00:27:19.600 Well, I mean, both that you just mentioned are total moans or fools, especially with some of the things that they say.
00:27:28.840 So you're right.
00:27:29.620 You know, someone else is, you know, thinking about what's going on here and not thinking, you know, the way it should be thought.
00:27:36.320 But they're definitely, you know, pulling the strings.
00:27:39.600 As far as the—I believe when President Trump was president before, they had already started holding back intelligence from the president.
00:27:47.940 Without question.
00:27:48.540 I could tell by certain things just watching the news that there were certain things, the way the president was reacting to certain things.
00:27:54.220 I was saying to myself, you know, if he had the briefing about something that I knew about, he probably wouldn't have, you know, made a certain decision the way he did.
00:28:04.080 And I think it was because he was not getting the proper intelligence, or it was being held back, or they're just basically lying.
00:28:12.580 I mean, I witnessed, even back in the days when I was, you know, involved with setting up briefings for Congress and what have you, that the intelligence community is very good at setting up briefings that have a lot of bells and whistles, and they basically don't have any content.
00:28:28.140 Or they're meant to basically fool whoever we're giving the briefing and to think, you know, something is all hunky-dory when it's not.
00:28:37.660 So, you know, I mean, in one case, as a matter of fact, my own congressman here in Maryland, his name is Ruppersberger, every time he would go to NSA, they would make sure they had this huge, huge lunch for him.
00:28:52.540 And they would use, they would cook turkeys, and they would give him big turkey sandwiches, and apparently he likes turkey sandwiches, but, you know, what does turkey sandwich make, a turkey make you do, it's kind of what tryptophan in it, it makes you fall asleep.
00:29:04.600 So then they'd have the briefings after lunch, and he would fall asleep in the briefings.
00:29:09.560 So this is the kind of nonsense they pull off.
00:29:11.960 They pull off these little shell games where they have the same program that's one that's set in the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, and then they sell, well, you can't see this because...
00:29:22.540 You're on the committee for defense, and then the intel guy, the intel committee, they say, you can't see it because this is the program for the Department of Defense, even though it's the same exact program.
00:29:34.640 They play this little shell game to make sure that they can blow off, or they come up with this, you know, that, oh, we can't tell you because of sources, and we're going to give away sources and capabilities, when quite often that's a bunch of nonsense.
00:29:49.820 Or they say, oh, if you cut back on this, the blood will be on your hands when the world blows up because you didn't give us these capabilities, which violate the Constitution and all the laws.
00:30:01.620 Well, the latest is that artificial intelligence poses extinction-level threat.
00:30:08.820 The U.S. government has to have new emergency powers to control the technology.
00:30:12.460 According to the State Department, naturally more power, more control over the American people, more totalitarianism.
00:30:19.620 At the same time, we do not have any idea of what the level of deployment by the PLA to their hypersonic missiles.
00:30:31.140 We don't know if we have now a response capability, hypersonic response.
00:30:36.920 We do not know if we have even an inkling on the part of our intelligence agencies and the command structure of the federal government as to what to do with fifth columns that are now all over the United States,
00:30:50.800 clearly meaning to do the nation harm, whether they're coming from Iran, whether they come from Syria, China, or Russia.
00:30:59.380 We also know that the Chinese have positioned tens of thousands of their troops in northern Mexico, and for what purpose?
00:31:09.600 We're going to give you the last word here, Russ, because it looks very dire indeed as we step back and look at what has been visited upon us already.
00:31:19.860 Well, the threat is real.
00:31:21.240 We haven't really addressed all these things.
00:31:23.680 And China is basically setting up an army within our own country to maybe, if we try to respond to something they do in Southeast Asia,
00:31:33.120 that they're going to basically have saboteurs to blow up our communications infrastructure or something of that nature.
00:31:41.520 And basically, I think our president is owned by China.
00:31:45.740 So if it's going to happen, it's going to happen now.
00:31:49.020 All right.
00:31:50.160 Russ Tice, we thank you as always, and we're going to hope that you're wrong about the window of opportunity for the People's Republic of China and Xi Jinping.
00:32:02.540 And hopefully we will have the opportunity to get to the next president who can right so many wrongs of the past three years.
00:32:11.980 Russ Tice, former National Security, excuse me, Russ Tice, former National Senior Intelligence Agency of the NSA.
