00:00:33.660Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs. Welcome to The Great America Show. Good to have you with us.
00:00:39.140President Trump in a Fort Pierce federal courtroom yesterday afternoon for a hearing to dismiss Jack Smith's Mar-a-Lago documents case.
00:00:47.800While Judge Eileen Cannon has yet to dismiss the case, it seems the odds are increasingly in President Trump's favor.
00:00:56.800Judge Cannon hammered the fact that no former president or vice president has ever been charged under the Espionage Act for taking and keeping classified records,
00:01:08.700which represents 32 of the counts in this indictment against President Trump.
00:01:14.440Cannon asked Jay Bratt, who represents the special counsel office, when the alleged crime began.
00:01:22.820Bratt responded, saying the crime of retaining the documents began the day President Trump left office on January 20, 2021,
00:01:32.840because at that point he was no longer president and unable to have those documents.
00:01:38.100Judge Cannon again asked for historical precedent as to when a former president or, importantly, a vice president faced charges for similar conduct.
00:01:49.660Bratt had to admit that there is absolutely no such historical precedent.
00:01:56.060Cannon then mentioned the title vice president on numerous occasions throughout the hearing and for a good reason.
00:02:03.260Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Mike Pence all kept classified documents and none of them, none of them has any power to declassify.
00:02:14.340Yet none, none ever faced charges of any kind, unlike President Trump.
00:02:21.100Now here is the part where the junkyard jackals team may have really hurt their so-called case and themselves.
00:02:27.900Jay Bratt claimed that President Trump's security clearance expired when President Trump left office.
00:04:50.040I want to start with a number of things that are going on, one of which is the National Intelligence Community Assessment that shows the world order.
00:04:58.200You're now experiencing what the intel guys called some fragility.
00:05:13.540Well, you probably could have got the same assessment from, I don't know, a kindergartner or something who watches the news every now and then amongst his cartoonist, you know, a regiment.
00:05:23.480Yeah, the world's in a mess, and imagine how that happened from four years ago when we stopped producing our own energy and we start, you know, basically allowing everybody to stomp all over us.
00:05:40.800And the world's saying, hey, the U.S. isn't a problem anymore, so we can do what we want.
00:05:48.660So, yeah, that's the problem, and it will be until we get a new guy in that White House.
00:05:55.200Well, if there's time to get a new guy in the White House, China, it turns out, has been trying to normalize for months now, normalize military drills near Taiwan.
00:06:10.120That, according to the island's top security official, and it begs the question, what do the Chinese intend when it comes to Taiwan?
00:06:22.760Why are they trying to normalize military drills?
00:06:27.220And I know you've been doing some considerable analysis about the Chinese, the mainland Chinese, thinking about when they might want to invade Taiwan.
00:07:25.600The very best weather in Taiwan, if you want to go there on a vacation, I wouldn't suggest it now, but it would be the months of March and April.
00:07:35.400Now, if you're a military planner and you want to do something like an invasion across the body of water, especially like 100 miles across the sea, you're going to need a couple things.
00:07:46.360You're going to need dry land where you don't want mud to deal with, and you don't want choppy seas.
00:07:55.160Right now, Taiwan is experiencing good weather with sun and fairly strong winds, and what that does is that dries things out from the monsoon season.
00:08:07.980And for the next week and a half to two weeks, they're slated to have good weather on Taiwan.
00:08:13.880And like I said, March and April, the best weather.
00:08:17.560So if you're going to come across those straights, especially with some kind of souped-up landing craft or whatever,
00:08:24.240and then you're going to have to do operations on that east side or however you want to hit them, you're going to need good weather.
00:08:31.500And right now, right now, and this month and next month is the best time to do that right now.
00:08:37.440And these drills that are going on right now, do you think that that could have the intended purpose of getting ready for a launch of amphibious craft to carry an invading force into Taiwan?
00:09:01.540Think about what the Egyptians did when they finally went across in the early 70s.
00:09:10.620They would feign an attack, and they'd pull back.
00:09:13.240They'd feign an attack, and they'd pull back.
00:09:14.920They'd feign an attack, and they'd pull back.
00:09:16.640And the Israelis would call up their troops and stand them down, call up, stand them down.
00:09:21.180And after a while, the Israelis got to the point where they're like, well, these are just drills.
00:09:26.460It's ultimately you're conditioning your potential enemy to give them a false sense of security because you charge so many times, and then you pull back.
00:09:38.480And finally, everybody thinks you're always bluffing, and then at some point, you actually go through.
00:09:44.580Now, here's something very interesting that's happening right now.
00:09:48.000The Pengu Islands, which are snubbed up real close to China but are controlled by Taiwan, now they have 24-7 PLA Navy controls going around that island.
00:10:03.100This is something that has not happened before.
00:10:07.780Because they don't want, if they're going to do an invasion, they don't want a pre-warning going out to Taiwan that crafts are coming through that bay by that island.
00:10:18.680So they would have to be able to go around that island and ultimately jam any signals when the time comes.
00:10:23.860Well, jamming signals, given the ability of now all these forms of reconnaissance that we have, we are looking down on everything from about 300 miles in orbit.
00:10:42.880And it's very hard now for anyone to make a move without being detected by satellites.
00:10:51.880I know that, obviously, we have them, the Chinese have them, the Russians have them.
00:10:56.480But right now, isn't it impossible for them to launch an invading force without seeing the buildup of the necessary forces that would be required to carry out a successful invasion?
00:11:12.900Well, even with satellites, and I just happen to know a lot about that field, there's normally gaps in satellite coverage.
00:11:20.980Because you can't, like, park a satellite right over top of the Taiwan Straits because they have to move around the Earth, depending on what orbit they're in, whether they're low orbit or medium orbit or a HEO orbit on the equator.
00:11:36.120And then there's a couple other orbits that they don't have to deal with in here.
00:11:39.540There's some of our satellites, they do polar orbits, too.
00:11:45.700But unless you have a constellation that's fully developed and set up for 24-7 coverage, which we do not, then you're not going to always have satellite coverage.
00:11:58.540And then there's also the capability to jam satellites as well.
00:12:01.920And that's a field that I really can't talk about right now because of the classification levels involved in all that.
00:12:11.080But there's a war going, I'll say this, there's a war going on in space, and it has been for the last three decades.
00:12:16.840That there's all kinds of things going on, counter space to do nasty things about other folks.
00:12:23.320And what they intend to do are assets in space, and it's been going on for a while.
00:12:29.780So, yes, we have overhead capabilities, but that doesn't mean that they're totally capable of covering 24-7 or defenseless against.
00:12:49.620I mean, I should say, you know, that they could use some kind of measure to mitigate our capability in space.
00:12:57.500We're talking with Russ Tice, former senior intelligence analyst for the National Security Agency.
00:13:04.800We're going to continue with Russ's view of what the prospects are for the PLA to actually do something in the coming days of this month and the days of next month.
00:13:36.720We saw what happened in 2020 when we found ourselves dependent on global supply chains.
00:13:41.660We're still dependent on China and other countries for more than 90% of all our pharmaceuticals.
00:13:47.080With clusters of respiratory illnesses popping up around the world and here, we need to be prepared.
00:13:53.140And now is the time to make certain you have what your family needs when the next crisis hits.
00:13:58.800Our good friends, Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Drew Penske over at the Wellness Company have put together just what you and I need with the Wellness Company's medical emergency kit.
00:14:08.460And now the Wellness Company's medical kit provides a solution critical to you and your loved ones.
00:14:14.100This emergency kit includes eight life-saving medications including amoxicillin, Z-Pak, and ivermectin for you to keep on hand along with a guidebook for safe use.
00:14:24.300From tick bites to biochemical events, every medical scenario is covered.
00:14:58.620We're back now talking with Russ Tice, former national security analyst for NSA.
00:15:05.700Russ, with all of the what may or may not be done to our satellites to either blind them to disrupt them in some way,
00:15:15.980the reality is, to our knowledge right now, that hasn't been done and that they do have a good lock on what is happening around what's happening in eastern China,
00:15:27.660and they have a pretty good understanding of what is happening in proximity to Taiwan.
00:16:23.720That's true, but the Chinese are very good at masking things.
00:16:28.940They're very good at limiting their radiofrequency communications.
00:16:33.580They're very good at building huge expanses of tarps that are meant to look like ground cover,
00:16:41.860and underneath those tarps, they're building or doing things that we don't know that we can't see via optical capabilities.
00:16:51.460We try to use other measures, you know, like the radar capabilities to see, you know, with the signatures.
00:17:00.880But the Chinese know what we have, and they do things to mitigate our capabilities.
00:17:06.380There's all kinds of other indications that are going on here, not just the weather.
00:17:09.820The Chinese, as far as space, can use their own GLONASS or the Bing Down and or the Russian GLONASS capabilities to do their own targeting.
00:17:22.740They don't need to use our GPS system, and probably, if anything, they would try to jam it.
00:17:29.380The PLA has just put, I think, a third aircraft carrier into operation for their Navy.
00:17:35.740They now have hypersonic missiles that we have to keep a very large standoff for fear of getting our carriers whacked by their hypersonics.
00:17:44.940There's the situation where the Aussies and our folks in Guam are going to be getting more submarine capabilities in the future and are on hypersonics.
00:18:01.040So if the Chinese are looking to the future and they want to pick a time,
00:18:05.340and all of a sudden we're going to be beefing up all our capabilities in Southeast Asia,
00:18:09.580they'd probably want to do this before that.
00:18:13.300There's the panda diplomacy that's going on right now.
00:18:15.960The Chinese are pulling all their pandas out of the United States.
00:18:19.120The only place left right now where we have a couple pandas is, I think, Atlanta.
00:18:24.160And, hell, they're pulling them out of Japan, and they're pulling them out of South Korea and Holland and Australia.
00:18:33.400So, you know, so I guess they figure we can't, you know, steal their pandas and hold them hostage.
00:18:42.960And there's all kinds of – I'm sorry, go ahead.
00:18:46.200And maybe I'm being too, you know, perhaps I'm inured to all of this panda diplomacy.
00:18:56.240Personally, I could care less what they do with their pandas.
00:18:59.300I'm more interested in what they're doing with the PLA, the number of troops that they have put into the United States crossing our southern border by the tens of thousands.
00:19:10.260They have, we know, tens of thousands in northern Mexico, south of San Diego, just waiting for some reason to do something.
00:19:20.520But we know it will be nefarious and it will not be in the interest of the United States.
00:19:25.040We do not have a clear understanding of how the United States would respond if it did respond to an invasion by Taiwan.
00:19:34.240This is – and they don't have time for much of what you're suggesting because if they're going to move, as you point out,
00:19:42.100they have to move by the end of this month, certainly by the end of next month because of the weather patterns.
00:19:47.840Do you see anything to suggest to you right now that they have made a decision to be aggressive when it comes to Taiwan?
00:20:00.820Well, Xi Jinping has set himself up as the premier, the president, and the general secretary of the Central Committee.
00:20:13.740So he is now, you know, arm clad in control.
00:20:17.160And he's been firing anyone he's considered weak in the military who's not basically a hardliner, he's fired.
00:20:25.300So I would say that's a pretty good – and he's come right out and said that, you know, okay, we will, if necessary, take Taiwan by force.
00:20:34.900So – and he's certainly making sure that everyone in his military is ready to roll when need be.
00:20:41.740Now, I think the biggest concern they're going to have right now is the possibility that the United States will have a president a year from now that will not put up with this.
00:20:49.740Because right now, I think they believe they have their own president bought and paid for, their own Manchurian president.
00:21:02.660I think the only thing – as a matter of fact, the closest troops we have nearby are Okinawa.
00:21:08.660We have, I think, the 18th air wing there.
00:21:10.580And they would be ready and ready to jump.
00:21:14.280But I'll bet you dollars, the donuts, that they will get a stand-down order from the president of the United States if and when this happens.
00:21:22.020So – and our State Department will send a tersely worded demarche, which is basically a letter saying we're not happy that you did this, as they laugh at us.
00:21:32.320So the stars are all lining up right now.
00:21:36.600And, of course, there's the big-ticket item that China will do everything they can to take intact are the semiconductor fabrication facilities.
00:21:47.140We're making all those advanced computer chips, especially those 4, 5, 6 nanometer chips that are especially used for the artificial intelligence world of today.
00:21:57.100That is the – that would give China like 90 percent of all semiconductor production in the world, and they will grab the world by the short hairs, and they will start squeezing when the time comes when we're going to say we're going to put sanctions on you.
00:22:12.280And they're going to say, no, you're not, or we're going to cripple your economy.
00:22:15.620You know, after all the years of threats of decoupling by the United States against China, what we are witnessing right now is a very sobering and concerning reality.
00:22:29.340The Chinese have begun the decoupling of the relationship with the United States and the dependency on U.S. products, particularly paying a price right now are Apple, without any question, and Tesla.
00:22:49.640Their sales are dropping like rocks as we watch China decouple from the U.S. products, and those two companies are feeling the pain, the sharpest and the most profound pain in the early moments of this decoupling.
00:23:08.660And what does that pretend? We'll be talking with Russ Tice about that and much more as we consider whether or not China means to invade Taiwan, and if so, what will the United States do?
00:23:50.300I hope you'll be joining us for Lou Dobbs Tonight as our fight to save this country has only begun.
00:23:57.640We're back now talking with Russ Tice, a former senior intelligence analyst for NSA.
00:24:09.740John Brennan telling the intelligence community and doing so in a very loud voice without any shadowing of nuance, telling the intelligence community not to fully brief President Trump should he win the White House.
00:24:27.320Here we go again, it's 2016 all over again.
00:24:33.820It is the ignorance of the deep state.
00:24:37.340They are bald-faced about it now, and they mean to be running this government for as long as they possibly can.
00:24:44.360We just watched William Burns, the head of the CIA, negotiating ceasefires and making policy instead of running the intelligence community and the CIA.
00:24:58.100What do you make of Burns just without apology or hesitation coming out and being a policy leader for the Biden regime?
00:25:08.760Is he the voice behind the curtain for one Joe Biden?
00:25:19.160I would not say probably a puppet master would be a better word and voice, I guess.
00:25:25.720But I think it's a litany of folks that are involved in this puppetry.
00:25:30.380The State Department is one, and perhaps a former president who has a spread there by the ocean up there in the Kansas Bay, and maybe some big industrialists and those types.
00:25:46.720But first of all, in the intelligence community, your job is not to make policy.
00:25:51.320Your job is to inform the president and the elected leaders of our country, you know, what is going on, whether it's good or bad or whatever.
00:26:02.340Let them know, you know, what the situation is, what the intelligence is, and then they make the policy.
00:26:08.680Your job is just to inform and just to stand back and let the elected leaders do what they're supposed to do in the policy.
00:26:52.440This is a regime—this Biden regime is a bunch of hapless fools.
00:26:56.460No one could believe that the National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, or the silly Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, is running anything.
00:27:11.400They're just tools of what is now an entrenched deep state, aren't they, in your judgment?
00:27:19.600Well, I mean, both that you just mentioned are total moans or fools, especially with some of the things that they say.
00:27:29.620You know, someone else is, you know, thinking about what's going on here and not thinking, you know, the way it should be thought.
00:27:36.320But they're definitely, you know, pulling the strings.
00:27:39.600As far as the—I believe when President Trump was president before, they had already started holding back intelligence from the president.
00:27:48.540I could tell by certain things just watching the news that there were certain things, the way the president was reacting to certain things.
00:27:54.220I was saying to myself, you know, if he had the briefing about something that I knew about, he probably wouldn't have, you know, made a certain decision the way he did.
00:28:04.080And I think it was because he was not getting the proper intelligence, or it was being held back, or they're just basically lying.
00:28:12.580I mean, I witnessed, even back in the days when I was, you know, involved with setting up briefings for Congress and what have you, that the intelligence community is very good at setting up briefings that have a lot of bells and whistles, and they basically don't have any content.
00:28:28.140Or they're meant to basically fool whoever we're giving the briefing and to think, you know, something is all hunky-dory when it's not.
00:28:37.660So, you know, I mean, in one case, as a matter of fact, my own congressman here in Maryland, his name is Ruppersberger, every time he would go to NSA, they would make sure they had this huge, huge lunch for him.
00:28:52.540And they would use, they would cook turkeys, and they would give him big turkey sandwiches, and apparently he likes turkey sandwiches, but, you know, what does turkey sandwich make, a turkey make you do, it's kind of what tryptophan in it, it makes you fall asleep.
00:29:04.600So then they'd have the briefings after lunch, and he would fall asleep in the briefings.
00:29:09.560So this is the kind of nonsense they pull off.
00:29:11.960They pull off these little shell games where they have the same program that's one that's set in the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, and then they sell, well, you can't see this because...
00:29:22.540You're on the committee for defense, and then the intel guy, the intel committee, they say, you can't see it because this is the program for the Department of Defense, even though it's the same exact program.
00:29:34.640They play this little shell game to make sure that they can blow off, or they come up with this, you know, that, oh, we can't tell you because of sources, and we're going to give away sources and capabilities, when quite often that's a bunch of nonsense.
00:29:49.820Or they say, oh, if you cut back on this, the blood will be on your hands when the world blows up because you didn't give us these capabilities, which violate the Constitution and all the laws.
00:30:01.620Well, the latest is that artificial intelligence poses extinction-level threat.
00:30:08.820The U.S. government has to have new emergency powers to control the technology.
00:30:12.460According to the State Department, naturally more power, more control over the American people, more totalitarianism.
00:30:19.620At the same time, we do not have any idea of what the level of deployment by the PLA to their hypersonic missiles.
00:30:31.140We don't know if we have now a response capability, hypersonic response.
00:30:36.920We do not know if we have even an inkling on the part of our intelligence agencies and the command structure of the federal government as to what to do with fifth columns that are now all over the United States,
00:30:50.800clearly meaning to do the nation harm, whether they're coming from Iran, whether they come from Syria, China, or Russia.
00:30:59.380We also know that the Chinese have positioned tens of thousands of their troops in northern Mexico, and for what purpose?
00:31:09.600We're going to give you the last word here, Russ, because it looks very dire indeed as we step back and look at what has been visited upon us already.
00:31:50.160Russ Tice, we thank you as always, and we're going to hope that you're wrong about the window of opportunity for the People's Republic of China and Xi Jinping.
00:32:02.540And hopefully we will have the opportunity to get to the next president who can right so many wrongs of the past three years.
00:32:11.980Russ Tice, former National Security, excuse me, Russ Tice, former National Senior Intelligence Agency of the NSA.
00:32:25.160We appreciate you being with us, and thanks so much, Russ.
