The Great America Show - COL. MACGREGOR SAYS AMERICANS SHOULD BE MOBILIZING BY THE MILLIONS BECAUSE THE U.S. IS AT SEVERE RISK OF GOING OUT OF BUSINESS

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and welcome to The Great America Show.

00:00:04.100 Delighted to have you with us.

00:00:06.020 As of this past weekend, no American should doubt we're in a Cold War with the People's Republic of China. 0.79

00:00:12.920 Our F-22 fighter jets have had a busy week, shooting down three airborne objects.

00:00:19.160 With Prime Minister Trudeau's permission, a U.S. F-22 fighter jet shot down what was presumably another Chinese balloon

00:00:28.140 over northern Canada, but it was described by the U.S. military only as an unidentified airborne object,

00:00:35.960 the third such incident in a week.

00:00:38.100 The day before that shoot down over Canada, an F-22 shot down a similar, quote, airborne object off the coast of Alaska,

00:00:46.480 where the Alaska National Guard and the FBI are working in extreme weather conditions

00:00:51.060 to recover whatever remains of that object.

00:00:54.200 Canadian authorities are carrying out similar recovery efforts in northern Canada,

00:00:59.080 and the U.S. military has confirmed that the original Chinese balloon was indeed on a surveillance mission,

00:01:06.700 which the Biden regime permitted to cross the entire country before being shot down by an F-22 off the coast of South Carolina.

00:01:14.880 Oh, and did I mention Mitt Romney fully backs the Biden regime's decision to let spy balloons cross over the country for a week at a time?

00:01:25.040 You don't suppose Romney's obsequious statement supporting the Biden regime has anything to do with the Wall Street Journal news report

00:01:33.460 that the SEC is investigating the LDS Church's $100 billion investment fund for tax fraud.

00:01:43.540 We'll see. I'm sure there's no connection, aren't you?

00:01:47.220 As I said, a busy week for our F-22 fighter jets and add in another airborne object detected by radar over Montana Saturday evening.

00:01:55.800 Fighters were scrambled, but Congressman Matt Rosendale, briefed by the Pentagon,

00:02:01.380 said the fighters couldn't put eyes on the object that radar picked up about 30 miles south of the Canadian border.

00:02:08.200 And NORAD issued later a statement that also leaves open the possibility that it was a radar anomaly.

00:02:15.340 So we'll see.

00:02:16.940 While that's going on at the northern border, expect to see hundreds of thousands of migrants flooding over our southern border.

00:02:23.920 Biden wants to trade non-Mexican illegal immigrants for Mexican illegal immigrants.

00:02:30.440 Sounds like a Biden-Mayorcas deal, doesn't it?

00:02:33.380 Just when you think Biden can't get any crazier, he delivers another complication instead of a solution.

00:02:40.580 And maybe, just maybe, he could order deportations of illegal immigrants,

00:02:45.040 because, you know, they are illegal and they should be deported.

00:02:48.880 I know that's way too simple and direct for China Joe, 1.00

00:02:52.180 and he sure doesn't want to offend his friends and the Mexican drug cartels,

00:02:56.240 who are murdering hundreds of thousands of American citizens 0.67

00:02:59.900 with the fentanyl that they're pushing into the United States across that wide-open border.

00:03:05.740 Let me be clear.

00:03:07.120 Joe Biden's opening of our southern border is killing our fellow citizens. 1.00

00:03:12.540 He is a murderer. 0.98

00:03:14.340 No matter what else you want to call him, he is killing Americans with his policies. 1.00

00:03:19.040 And everyone who's going along with him is just as guilty.

00:03:23.100 Yes, Mitt Romney.

00:03:24.900 That includes you for agreeing with Biden's border and amnesty policies.

00:03:29.360 Biden won't secure the border, no matter how many Americans are killed.

00:03:33.600 And China clearly owns him.

00:03:35.660 And his regime.

00:03:37.700 Two House committees, Oversight, led by James Comer and Judiciary, led by Jim Jordan,

00:03:42.260 are pushing hard in their investigations of the president and his family's overseas business dealings.

00:03:48.840 And the corruption of the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the role of Twitter and social media as well

00:03:54.240 in censoring news media reports blocking conservative voices

00:03:58.680 and influencing the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

00:04:03.300 Here are just a few of the highlights from the Jordan Judiciary Committee hearings.

00:04:08.160 The chair now recognizes himself for an opening statement.

00:04:12.360 November 18th, 2021, an FBI whistleblower discloses to Republicans on the House Judiciary

00:04:18.700 that the FBI created a threat tag for parents voicing their concerns at school board meetings.

00:04:25.100 April 26th, 2022, another FBI whistleblower discloses that the FBI employees are being run out of the bureau

00:04:33.080 for attending conservative political events.

00:04:36.340 May 11th, 2022, another FBI whistleblower discloses that dozens of parents with the threat tag designation

00:04:45.060 to their name are investigated by the FBI.

00:04:49.040 This also happens to be the same whistleblower who said the FBI leadership, not the rank and file members,

00:04:54.720 the FBI leadership is rotted at its core.

00:04:58.060 His clearance has been revoked and he's been suspended.

00:05:00.880 June 7th, 2022, another FBI whistleblower is retaliated against after giving feedback on an anonymous survey.

00:05:11.180 July 27th, 2022, another FBI whistleblower discloses that agents are pressured to reclassify cases

00:05:18.860 as domestic violent extremism cases to hit self-created performance metrics.

00:05:24.720 September 14th, 2022, an FBI whistleblower discloses that the FBI views the Betsy Ross flag as a terrorist symbol.

00:05:35.400 September 19th, 2022, another FBI whistleblower discloses that the Washington field office

00:05:42.000 is deliberately manipulating January 6th case files.

00:05:45.940 So the FBI didn't tell you that it was fake, didn't tell you that it was hacked.

00:05:51.260 And Mr. Roth, did the story violate your policies?

00:05:55.240 In my judgment at the time, no, it did not.

00:05:57.520 Yeah, that's what you said.

00:05:58.580 Said what I would propose, excuse me, is you said it isn't clearly a violation of our hacked materials policy,

00:06:03.240 nor is it clearly a violation of anything else.

00:06:05.560 So I think what a lot of people are wondering is if it didn't violate your policies

00:06:08.660 and they didn't tell you it was fake, didn't tell you it was hacked, why'd you take it down?

00:06:13.500 The company made a decision that found that it did violate the policy.

00:06:18.480 It wasn't my personal judgment at the time that it did,

00:06:21.940 but the decision was communicated to me by my direct supervisor.

00:06:25.220 And ultimately, I didn't disagree with it enough to object.

00:06:29.100 You know, you know what, you know what I think happened, Mr. Roth?

00:06:31.400 I think, I think you guys got played.

00:06:33.820 I think you guys wanted to, wanted to take it deep down. 0.95

00:06:36.800 We saw what the chairman put up where you said, you know, everyone in the White House is a fascist.

00:06:40.980 I think you guys wanted it to be taken down.

00:06:44.520 I think you meet with these guys every week.

00:06:46.260 We know that's been established in the Twitter files.

00:06:47.940 You had weekly meetings with Mr. Chan in the run-up to the election.

00:06:50.840 They send you all kinds of emails.

00:06:52.540 They send you documents on the super secret James Bond teleporter.

00:06:55.860 You get information on that.

00:06:57.560 Meanwhile, the Biden regime is refusing to obey committee subpoenas.

00:07:02.460 And now the GOP committees have dozens of FBI whistleblowers

00:07:06.680 bringing direct evidence of corruption to the hearings.

00:07:10.260 The Biden regime is headed toward, I believe, an accounting in full, in public view.

00:07:17.540 Biden says China poses no national security threat.

00:07:21.200 Imagine that.

00:07:22.440 He's shipping $100 billion in advanced weaponry to Ukraine,

00:07:27.000 where he's also compromised, and he is playing with fire in Ukraine.

00:07:31.220 A fire Biden let Putin start.

00:07:34.080 Biden is significantly responsible for allowing Putin to have,

00:07:37.980 what Biden called at the time, a small incursion.

00:07:42.020 A year later, is it still a small incursion?

00:07:45.220 I don't think so.

00:07:46.700 So what is it going to take to wake this country up to what Biden is,

00:07:50.560 what the Marxist Dems have become?

00:07:53.260 They're destroyers.

00:07:54.400 And the Republicans, at least, have begun to fight back in the House of Representatives.

00:07:58.760 The Ukrainians have beaten back the Russian invaders, 0.96

00:08:02.040 but now Putin appears to be mounting a force twice as large as they first sent into Ukraine a year ago.

00:08:08.680 Putin is now threatening the small nation of Moldova as well,

00:08:12.160 and preparing, it appears, a huge attack on the eastern Ukrainian reclaimed Donbass region.

00:08:18.920 And with increasing frequency, Putin is repeating his threats against the West,

00:08:23.720 threatening nuclear war.

00:08:24.980 He and the Kremlin say they will not lose in Ukraine,

00:08:28.760 no matter what it takes, including nuclear war.

00:08:32.940 And now the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion is only days away. 0.54

00:08:37.460 And most military experts never dreamed Ukraine could stand up this long

00:08:42.120 against the much larger, more powerful Russian military.

00:08:45.880 And I have to say,

00:08:47.220 I didn't imagine that the Ukrainians would be able to throw back the Russians, 0.99

00:08:51.580 and in fact, embarrass the Russian military.

00:08:54.080 Our guest today is retired U.S. Army Colonel Doug McGregor.

00:08:58.680 He's a veteran of the Kosovo and Persian Gulf Wars.

00:09:02.140 Doug, it is great to have you back with us.

00:09:04.140 Welcome.

00:09:05.120 A year ago, I couldn't imagine Ukraine holding out this long.

00:09:09.060 Could you?

00:09:09.960 Well, I think you're right, and I think that's true for everybody,

00:09:12.540 including the Russians, as well as everybody in Washington.

00:09:14.920 When this business began,

00:09:17.540 it came after many, many years of frustration in Moscow with our unwillingness

00:09:22.460 to recognize their legitimate security interests in Ukraine

00:09:26.240 and our rejection out of hand of the notion that Ukraine cannot be a member of NATO.

00:09:31.480 And they wanted neutrality for Ukraine,

00:09:35.620 and they wanted equal rights under the law for Russians who live in Ukraine.

00:09:39.980 All of that was rejected.

00:09:41.240 In fact, the opposite was the case.

00:09:42.780 And so they finally decided to intervene militarily in eastern Ukraine,

00:09:47.080 in the area, frankly, where the population is overwhelmingly Russian.

00:09:50.600 But the problem was that the Russian military was actually quite small.

00:09:57.100 It was designed exclusively for defense of the homeland.

00:10:01.840 A very small force was committed to the operation.

00:10:05.400 And I think the thing that shocked both people in the West,

00:10:10.140 I think us as Americans as well as the Russians,

00:10:13.240 is that there was absolutely no willingness whatsoever in Washington

00:10:16.840 to arrange talks, to sort this out, to come to some sort of arrangement.

00:10:23.040 So things dragged on for months.

00:10:26.540 The Ukrainians were never winning as popularly thought.

00:10:30.900 They were always taking heavy casualties,

00:10:32.840 and the Russians were advancing, but very slowly.

00:10:35.580 The Russians finally decided, 0.58

00:10:36.800 well, this war is only going to end when we end it.

00:10:39.320 And so they decided to go to a war footing last summer.

00:10:42.260 They're now on a war footing.

00:10:43.760 They have 700,000-plus troops surrounding Ukraine.

00:10:47.160 They're about to launch major offenses

00:10:49.280 that I think will end the conflict, for all intents and purposes.

00:10:53.140 And the great tragedy is, in the meantime,

00:10:55.180 our unwillingness to talk with the Russians 1.00

00:10:56.880 and negotiate an end to this thing

00:10:58.420 has resulted in the destruction of the Ukrainian state

00:11:01.140 and the Ukrainian people.

00:11:03.200 Ukraine, which started out at about 37,

00:11:05.880 or excuse me, 35.4 million people,

00:11:08.800 is down to somewheres between 19 and 22 million.

00:11:12.140 More than 10 million have fled the country.

00:11:15.320 There were always 2 million-plus working outside the country

00:11:18.320 in the EU and Great Britain.

00:11:21.200 And frankly, there are about 4 million Russians

00:11:24.260 living under Russian administration

00:11:25.840 in the areas of eastern Ukraine now.

00:11:28.260 So within the area that Zelenskyy and his government control,

00:11:31.540 there are only about 19 to 22 million people left.

00:11:35.140 They're really bleeding Ukraine white. 0.98

00:11:37.680 You can go on the internet and you can watch all the videos

00:11:41.420 taken by Ukrainians of the press gangs running around 0.93

00:11:44.160 capturing teenagers on the street

00:11:46.540 and forcing them into vans and taking them off

00:11:48.640 to put on uniforms and fight at the front.

00:11:51.020 And the casualties are horrific.

00:11:53.240 So the whole thing is a catastrophe.

00:11:55.640 One would have hoped that, like every other president

00:11:58.060 that preceded him in office over the last 50, 60 years,

00:12:01.800 that President Biden would have stepped forward

00:12:03.840 and said, wait a minute, we can find a way forward.

00:12:07.220 Let's talk.

00:12:08.700 But instead of that, he did the opposite.

00:12:10.640 He's escalated this thing.

00:12:12.620 The outcome is that Russia economically 0.85

00:12:14.780 is stronger than ever.

00:12:17.080 Its military has now expanded to a level

00:12:20.560 that it has not seen since the end of the Cold War.

00:12:24.080 And we are in no position to fight anybody,

00:12:26.400 least of all Russia.

00:12:27.240 And we're staring down the barrel of a very ugly gun.

00:12:31.460 And that is where we are today.

00:12:34.720 And where we were a year ago at this time,

00:12:38.920 we still had a couple of weeks

00:12:40.960 that the Biden administration could have used

00:12:43.700 to have prevented this war.

00:12:44.940 We know now what the intelligence agencies were saying

00:12:50.160 in the months leading up to what became the invasion.

00:12:53.320 We know that there were about 200,000 Russian troops

00:12:57.020 deployed from Moldova through eastern Ukraine

00:13:00.660 on the Russian border, in Russia,

00:13:05.580 on the Ukrainian border, and in Belarus.

00:13:09.960 We now see an estimated 700,000 troops being massed

00:13:17.500 in western Russia ready to attack.

00:13:22.840 We know what happened back on the 24th

00:13:25.900 and the fallout from not proceeding

00:13:28.740 to destroy the enemy as its first objective.

00:13:32.480 This looks like this is an entirely different

00:13:35.320 both objective and wherewithal for this assault.

00:13:41.860 Well, no, you're absolutely right, Lou.

00:13:44.700 This is a totally new ballgame, let's put it bluntly.

00:13:49.020 Russia, I think the leadership in Moscow

00:13:51.560 is tired of hearing us demand regime change,

00:13:54.940 tired of us talking about dismembering Russia

00:13:57.400 and destroying its economy and its people.

00:13:59.940 They've given up on any rational discussion

00:14:03.460 whatsoever with Washington.

00:14:05.720 They've listened to the Germans 1.00

00:14:07.360 and other members of the NATO alliance

00:14:11.380 talk about the fact that the Minsk Accords,

00:14:14.080 which were devised, at least in Moscow's mind,

00:14:16.920 to address some of the issues that I mentioned earlier

00:14:19.480 about equal rights before the law for Russians,

00:14:21.760 allowing them to speak their language

00:14:23.100 and live as equal citizens in Ukraine,

00:14:25.780 that that was a facade.

00:14:27.280 There was never any interest in coming

00:14:29.080 to any agreement with the Russians

00:14:30.520 and certainly no interest in what happened

00:14:32.300 to the Russians living in Ukraine.

00:14:34.540 Merkel admitted that.

00:14:36.260 And so the cat is, so to say, out of the bag,

00:14:39.180 and the Russians have said, fine.

00:14:40.460 And we've tried everything that we possibly could

00:14:43.000 to destroy Russia short of attacking ourselves. 0.82

00:14:47.020 And we are in no position now to challenge them.

00:14:50.060 And I think what we're going to watch

00:14:51.360 is the gradual destruction

00:14:52.620 of what remains of the Ukrainian armed forces.

00:14:55.760 I think the government at Kiev at some point

00:14:58.360 will flee probably to Poland 0.59

00:15:00.460 and probably then to Miami

00:15:02.200 or some of the places

00:15:03.640 where they have their money stashed.

00:15:05.780 I think we're going to discover

00:15:06.980 that we spent hundreds of billions of dollars

00:15:08.800 on a fraud. Nothing was as it seemed.

00:15:12.760 And we now have a very dangerous enemy in Moscow

00:15:15.760 where previously there really wasn't.

00:15:17.600 I mean, the Russians may not have liked us.

00:15:19.080 We may not have liked them.

00:15:20.600 But there was always a willingness to talk.

00:15:22.680 And we had a reasonable strategic partnership

00:15:24.980 with them against ISIS,

00:15:27.000 against Islamist radicals.

00:15:29.000 That's all gone.

00:15:30.300 And in the meantime, you know,

00:15:31.960 as you pointed out for years,

00:15:33.320 China sitting on the sidelines

00:15:35.300 has watched all of this carefully

00:15:36.760 and has profited enormously.

00:15:38.800 from our diversion

00:15:39.800 into this self-destructive war.

00:15:43.400 And China is giving much greater support

00:15:47.400 to Vladimir Putin

00:15:48.780 and his forces

00:15:50.360 than has been publicly admitted

00:15:52.480 by the Biden administration.

00:15:54.640 Correct?

00:15:54.860 Well, I don't know.

00:15:57.480 It's a question of admission.

00:15:58.580 I just think the Chinese 1.00

00:16:00.160 see that they are on the menu

00:16:02.360 as far as Washington is concerned.

00:16:04.760 This is the most warlike,

00:16:07.080 dangerous, reckless administration,

00:16:09.580 I think, in American history,

00:16:12.100 certainly in the 20th century.

00:16:13.420 These people are hell-bent

00:16:14.680 to hammer everyone in the world

00:16:17.440 into line

00:16:18.420 with what they think

00:16:19.840 the rest of the world should look like.

00:16:21.300 this is everything

00:16:22.900 that was wrong

00:16:23.720 with the Bush crowd

00:16:24.760 and his successors

00:16:26.540 on steroids.

00:16:28.600 And so I think the Chinese 0.99

00:16:29.640 have said,

00:16:30.480 you know,

00:16:30.980 if we back away from Russia 0.87

00:16:32.860 and Russia,

00:16:33.680 for some reason,

00:16:34.400 isn't successful,

00:16:35.460 we're next on the menu.

00:16:36.720 So why should we do that?

00:16:38.220 So I think we've ultimately

00:16:39.360 succeeded in consolidating

00:16:41.380 the Russo-Chinese alliance.

00:16:44.140 And I agree with you completely.

00:16:48.420 And we just received this

00:16:50.040 from the Daily Mail,

00:16:51.420 and you talk about

00:16:52.620 recklessness,

00:16:54.660 reckless aggressiveness

00:16:56.320 on the part of this administration.

00:16:58.760 The headline in the Daily Mail

00:17:00.700 is this, folks,

00:17:02.180 quote,

00:17:02.980 Did Biden give the order

00:17:04.920 to destroy Putin's

00:17:06.620 Nord Stream pipeline

00:17:07.960 after the Ukraine invasion?

00:17:11.000 Bombshell report

00:17:12.240 claims Navy divers

00:17:13.560 carried out mission

00:17:15.140 to kill Russia's 0.98

00:17:16.100 gas stranglehold

00:17:17.180 on Europe

00:17:17.940 in an audacious mission

00:17:20.040 overseen

00:17:21.240 directly by the president.

00:17:24.720 Your thoughts?

00:17:26.040 Yeah,

00:17:26.440 that's an act of war.

00:17:28.960 It's not just an act of war

00:17:30.640 against Russia, per se.

00:17:32.320 It's an act of war 0.74

00:17:33.020 against the Germans.

00:17:34.640 And we've treated

00:17:35.900 the Germans essentially

00:17:37.060 as a vassal state,

00:17:38.820 bullying them into

00:17:39.980 supporting this war

00:17:41.240 against Russia and Ukraine.

00:17:42.500 The truth is,

00:17:45.160 NATO,

00:17:45.780 which the Biden administration

00:17:47.460 insists is a sacred cow,

00:17:49.760 has in fact

00:17:50.340 been severely weakened.

00:17:51.660 I do not think

00:17:53.120 NATO is going to survive

00:17:54.620 this entire experience.

00:17:56.760 I think NATO

00:17:57.360 is going to crumble.

00:17:58.560 It may not happen

00:17:59.500 overnight,

00:18:00.160 but it's going to fragment.

00:18:01.720 Because Europeans 0.98

00:18:02.600 are now scratching

00:18:04.240 their heads

00:18:04.740 and they're asking

00:18:05.260 the question,

00:18:06.420 why are we following

00:18:07.660 the United States

00:18:08.540 into this crazy war?

00:18:09.760 What is our interest

00:18:11.780 in destroying Russia?

00:18:13.240 Remember,

00:18:13.820 at the beginning

00:18:14.480 of Russia's intervention

00:18:15.700 in Ukraine,

00:18:17.340 the Russian force

00:18:18.220 was small

00:18:18.860 and everyone stood around

00:18:20.240 and said,

00:18:20.820 oh my,

00:18:21.900 I guess the Russian military

00:18:23.140 really isn't that powerful.

00:18:24.920 And then the decision

00:18:26.020 was made,

00:18:26.580 well,

00:18:26.680 if they're not that powerful

00:18:27.760 and they're not acting

00:18:28.760 ruthlessly as we would

00:18:30.080 or as we did

00:18:30.980 certainly in Iraq

00:18:31.800 and other places,

00:18:32.960 then perhaps

00:18:33.720 we can destroy it. 0.89

00:18:34.980 And the response, 0.93

00:18:36.140 of course,

00:18:36.760 has been

00:18:37.160 what you would expect

00:18:38.560 the Russians to do.

00:18:39.580 They've recovered

00:18:40.280 and they've built

00:18:41.440 this enormous force.

00:18:43.280 But the notion

00:18:44.460 that Russia was ever poised 0.86

00:18:46.440 to attack Europe

00:18:47.700 was fiction.

00:18:48.820 It wasn't true.

00:18:50.140 And in fact,

00:18:50.800 Russia today

00:18:51.480 is in no position

00:18:52.400 to attack Europe

00:18:53.400 or NATO as a whole.

00:18:54.820 But if we intervene

00:18:56.120 in this mess

00:18:56.840 against what's happened

00:18:58.600 in Ukraine

00:18:59.120 and we try to push

00:19:00.520 this issue further

00:19:01.500 with Russia,

00:19:03.100 then I think

00:19:04.060 we will have

00:19:04.560 a massive war

00:19:05.360 and the Russians

00:19:05.880 will not hesitate

00:19:06.840 to mobilize millions

00:19:08.160 in March West.

00:19:10.240 I don't think

00:19:11.000 they want to,

00:19:12.040 but that's exactly

00:19:12.880 what they'll do

00:19:13.580 if they feel

00:19:14.140 they have to.

00:19:14.720 And we are giving

00:19:15.380 them nothing.

00:19:16.800 We are unwilling

00:19:17.760 to talk.

00:19:18.560 We're unwilling

00:19:19.120 to consider anything.

00:19:21.360 Eisenhower

00:19:21.800 would have put

00:19:22.340 a stop to this

00:19:23.160 in two weeks,

00:19:23.800 as you pointed out.

00:19:25.100 I don't think Kennedy

00:19:26.120 would have allowed

00:19:26.660 this to go on.

00:19:27.520 Even Johnson,

00:19:28.680 who is probably

00:19:29.480 closest to Biden

00:19:30.740 in terms of corruption 1.00

00:19:31.800 and stupidity, 1.00

00:19:33.040 would not have 1.00

00:19:33.900 directly challenged

00:19:35.200 the Soviet Union

00:19:36.980 to a conflict.

00:19:38.160 So, no,

00:19:38.780 we're in a bizarre

00:19:40.240 situation.

00:19:41.120 And you've been

00:19:41.920 talking for years.

00:19:43.320 I listened to you

00:19:44.200 when I was on active duty

00:19:45.220 talk about the terrible

00:19:46.780 condition of our finances,

00:19:48.360 our economy.

00:19:49.300 We still have

00:19:50.220 this open border.

00:19:51.700 People are worried

00:19:52.420 about a Chinese

00:19:53.220 weather balloon.

00:19:54.300 There's a Chinese 0.99

00:19:55.140 intelligence presence

00:19:56.380 in Mexico.

00:19:57.740 Thousands of Chinese

00:19:58.900 have come into our

00:19:59.800 country illegally,

00:20:01.120 along with thousands

00:20:02.300 or millions

00:20:02.960 of other people.

00:20:04.320 We have Chinese

00:20:05.280 scientists and engineers

00:20:06.740 and our universities

00:20:07.640 and our corporate

00:20:08.400 laboratories.

00:20:09.740 Nothing is being

00:20:10.800 done about that.

00:20:12.160 And yet,

00:20:12.680 we want a war 0.99

00:20:14.020 head-on with Moscow.

00:20:15.900 It makes no sense.

00:20:18.020 And I think

00:20:19.060 that any

00:20:19.960 close watcher

00:20:21.340 of President Biden

00:20:23.440 in his years

00:20:24.080 as vice president,

00:20:25.380 before that

00:20:26.160 as a senator,

00:20:27.460 head of the

00:20:28.080 Foreign Relations

00:20:28.900 Committee,

00:20:29.900 over these years,

00:20:31.220 not making sense

00:20:33.080 as being his

00:20:33.900 long suit.

00:20:35.280 He is an erratic

00:20:37.440 and I think

00:20:38.960 extremely intellectually

00:20:40.080 limited

00:20:40.780 individual.

00:20:43.960 He's now,

00:20:45.000 to add to that,

00:20:46.300 impaired

00:20:46.800 and without

00:20:49.420 apparently any

00:20:50.540 check within

00:20:51.600 the administration.

00:20:53.060 We do not know

00:20:54.600 what he is

00:20:55.820 capable of,

00:20:56.680 but what he's

00:20:57.320 already demonstrated

00:20:58.340 should be enough

00:20:59.400 to scare

00:21:01.220 the dickens

00:21:02.580 out of any 0.97

00:21:03.100 American

00:21:03.580 about what

00:21:04.480 he would do

00:21:05.220 with a military

00:21:06.320 threat.

00:21:08.220 Well,

00:21:08.820 Lou,

00:21:09.340 you're 100%

00:21:10.280 right in the

00:21:10.880 question that

00:21:11.440 comes up in

00:21:12.120 many,

00:21:12.480 many circles

00:21:13.000 these days

00:21:13.600 that I travel

00:21:14.200 in is,

00:21:15.140 do you really

00:21:15.760 think President

00:21:16.740 Biden is in

00:21:17.720 charge?

00:21:18.920 Who is actually

00:21:20.140 driving this?

00:21:21.800 Who is making

00:21:22.620 the decisions?

00:21:24.020 And I think

00:21:25.020 those are valid

00:21:25.760 questions,

00:21:26.320 don't you?

00:21:26.780 Oh,

00:21:27.580 I think

00:21:27.860 they're very

00:21:28.280 valid,

00:21:28.740 and I think

00:21:29.200 that on this

00:21:30.600 broadcast,

00:21:31.440 I tell you,

00:21:32.100 we explore those

00:21:33.180 issues frequently

00:21:34.740 because there is

00:21:36.260 no way this man 0.51

00:21:37.340 in his mental 0.86

00:21:38.640 state,

00:21:39.480 his cognitive

00:21:40.280 limitations,

00:21:42.800 there is no

00:21:43.900 way he could

00:21:45.020 be the intellectual

00:21:46.000 force behind

00:21:46.900 the anti-American

00:21:48.600 Marxist

00:21:50.080 effort

00:21:51.160 to upend

00:21:53.300 everything

00:21:54.060 American,

00:21:54.820 our institutions,

00:21:55.820 our values,

00:21:56.380 to take

00:21:57.480 over our

00:21:58.100 schools.

00:21:58.600 There is

00:21:59.220 nothing in

00:21:59.860 this that

00:22:00.300 is haphazard,

00:22:01.620 unplanned,

00:22:02.360 or without

00:22:03.480 specific purpose.

00:22:05.900 And I'm

00:22:06.200 talking about

00:22:06.740 the destruction

00:22:07.320 of public

00:22:07.820 education,

00:22:09.120 the indoctrination

00:22:10.540 that has been

00:22:11.420 driven into

00:22:13.060 our schools

00:22:14.740 by the two

00:22:15.620 large public

00:22:17.760 unions that

00:22:18.380 happen to

00:22:18.860 represent

00:22:19.380 teachers,

00:22:21.080 so-called.

00:22:22.760 Higher education

00:22:24.020 that, as you

00:22:24.540 point out,

00:22:25.040 is infiltrated

00:22:26.040 with Chinese

00:22:27.520 front institutions,

00:22:30.280 organizations,

00:22:31.240 associations,

00:22:31.800 and their

00:22:32.640 students who

00:22:33.940 are here,

00:22:34.960 but they're not

00:22:35.660 messing around

00:22:36.400 with humanities.

00:22:37.760 They are in

00:22:38.640 advanced physics,

00:22:40.820 mathematics,

00:22:42.440 theoretical

00:22:43.120 mathematics,

00:22:44.320 as well as

00:22:44.840 applied.

00:22:45.820 They are

00:22:46.760 acquiring

00:22:48.860 intellectual property

00:22:49.960 and knowledge

00:22:50.500 from the United

00:22:51.060 States and

00:22:52.280 technology at

00:22:53.680 a rate that

00:22:54.300 is breathtaking,

00:22:55.600 and we've

00:22:56.260 been fully

00:22:56.740 aware of it

00:22:57.400 for a decade.

00:22:59.200 Yes.

00:23:00.240 I usually

00:23:01.480 compare the

00:23:02.460 Chinese influence

00:23:04.860 in the West,

00:23:05.560 especially in our

00:23:06.320 own country,

00:23:06.960 is analogous to

00:23:07.780 a crime syndicate.

00:23:10.040 If you leave

00:23:10.860 your doors

00:23:11.680 unlocked,

00:23:12.400 if you don't

00:23:13.200 take care to

00:23:14.840 ensure that your

00:23:15.560 valuables are

00:23:16.380 stored somewhere

00:23:17.120 safe,

00:23:18.180 and you walk

00:23:19.040 away from your

00:23:19.700 house for a

00:23:20.260 few hours,

00:23:21.200 they're going

00:23:21.760 to come in

00:23:22.260 and steal

00:23:22.660 everything you

00:23:23.200 own.

00:23:24.400 And this is

00:23:25.220 the problem,

00:23:25.960 as you pointed

00:23:26.860 out for many

00:23:27.900 years.

00:23:28.600 We can address

00:23:29.520 these things.

00:23:30.220 We can close

00:23:31.000 the border.

00:23:32.060 We can restore

00:23:33.180 the rule of

00:23:33.860 law.

00:23:34.620 We can get

00:23:35.280 those U.S. 0.69

00:23:36.100 troops that

00:23:36.520 are sitting in

00:23:37.120 Poland, 50,000

00:23:38.240 of them, and put

00:23:38.940 them on the

00:23:39.380 border, where

00:23:40.280 they'll do us

00:23:40.780 some good.

00:23:42.220 We can do

00:23:43.000 all of these

00:23:43.620 things, and

00:23:44.520 we're doing

00:23:44.880 nothing,

00:23:45.880 absolutely

00:23:46.320 nothing.

00:23:47.320 And I don't

00:23:48.120 understand why

00:23:49.080 the American

00:23:49.640 people are

00:23:50.280 not mobilizing

00:23:51.680 by the millions

00:23:52.460 against us,

00:23:53.580 because their

00:23:54.200 country is at

00:23:55.080 severe risk of

00:23:56.060 going out of

00:23:56.600 business.

00:23:57.300 I don't think

00:23:57.680 they understand

00:23:58.200 that.

00:23:59.260 I think you

00:24:00.400 have just

00:24:01.520 articulated the

00:24:03.160 essential issue

00:24:05.160 confronting the

00:24:06.020 United States.

00:24:07.460 Why are

00:24:08.640 Americans so

00:24:10.600 apathetic, so

00:24:12.580 reserved, in a

00:24:14.440 moment of

00:24:15.520 existential threat

00:24:17.260 and internal

00:24:19.660 distress that is

00:24:22.100 driven by one

00:24:23.120 philosophy, and

00:24:24.400 that is one

00:24:25.400 party that is

00:24:26.720 now a Marxist

00:24:28.240 dim fifth column

00:24:30.100 in the United

00:24:31.020 States.

00:24:31.720 I don't believe

00:24:32.660 there's another, a

00:24:33.900 better analogy for

00:24:36.240 what they're doing.

00:24:37.180 This is not just a

00:24:38.360 political party.

00:24:39.540 This is a

00:24:40.600 movement.

00:24:41.140 It is without

00:24:43.300 question a

00:24:44.860 Marxist

00:24:45.900 organization

00:24:46.920 hell-bent on

00:24:48.160 destroying this

00:24:48.920 country, our

00:24:49.500 institutions, our

00:24:51.120 Constitution, as

00:24:53.100 well as

00:24:53.800 anything, anything

00:24:55.780 that is remotely

00:24:57.440 akin to truth,

00:24:58.700 justice, and the

00:24:59.440 American way.

00:25:01.140 Well, if you

00:25:01.860 look or pause and

00:25:03.280 look at the

00:25:03.920 American military

00:25:04.740 establishment, you

00:25:06.740 see that it is

00:25:07.760 in ruins.

00:25:09.340 We're certainly

00:25:10.140 spending more

00:25:10.900 money than the

00:25:11.520 rest of the

00:25:12.000 world combined on

00:25:13.440 the Department of

00:25:14.040 Defense, but then

00:25:14.840 you have to look

00:25:15.380 carefully at where

00:25:16.040 the money goes, how

00:25:17.660 much of that money

00:25:18.540 is earmarked by

00:25:19.920 people in Congress

00:25:20.820 for their personal

00:25:21.800 benefits, whether

00:25:23.760 it's benefiting

00:25:24.780 them or their

00:25:25.760 constituents in their

00:25:26.800 particular district

00:25:27.760 or state, but it

00:25:29.380 doesn't have a great

00:25:30.180 deal to do with

00:25:30.980 effective defense.

00:25:32.220 Look at the

00:25:32.580 senior officers.

00:25:34.180 I mean, good

00:25:34.620 Lord, we have

00:25:35.500 more four-stars,

00:25:37.760 more three-stars

00:25:38.820 than we've ever

00:25:39.360 had in our

00:25:39.840 history for probably

00:25:40.880 the smallest force

00:25:41.960 that we've had

00:25:42.480 since before the

00:25:43.720 Second World War.

00:25:44.700 We have right now

00:25:45.760 44 four-star

00:25:47.500 generals and

00:25:48.920 admirals for a

00:25:50.500 military establishment

00:25:51.660 that is barely a

00:25:52.760 million, and we

00:25:54.160 can't even recruit

00:25:54.900 for it.

00:25:55.440 And during World

00:25:55.960 War II, when we

00:25:57.520 had 12.2 million

00:25:59.280 men in uniform, we

00:26:01.280 had seven four-stars.

00:26:03.220 And somehow

00:26:04.400 or another,

00:26:04.920 miraculously, those

00:26:06.320 seven four-stars

00:26:07.340 managed to be

00:26:08.880 effective.

00:26:09.540 We've got 44, and

00:26:11.180 the only thing they

00:26:11.820 seem to be able to

00:26:12.480 do is retire on

00:26:13.680 very fat pensions and

00:26:15.440 go to work for the

00:26:16.320 various defense

00:26:17.040 industries, banks, and

00:26:18.180 lobbyists that have

00:26:19.540 gotten us into the

00:26:20.300 mess we're in now.

00:26:22.280 The corruption is

00:26:23.960 complete in our

00:26:25.120 federal government.

00:26:25.980 It includes the

00:26:26.860 military.

00:26:27.600 It includes law

00:26:28.700 enforcement, the

00:26:29.420 Department of

00:26:29.960 Justice, our

00:26:30.600 intelligence agencies,

00:26:31.680 the FBI, the

00:26:33.800 corruption is

00:26:34.560 pervasive.

00:26:35.820 It is deep, deeply

00:26:37.780 entrenched, and I

00:26:39.380 for one, Doug, I

00:26:41.300 have no idea in

00:26:42.720 the world how to

00:26:44.160 rid ourselves of

00:26:45.500 this level of

00:26:46.240 corruption.

00:26:47.160 I think that it's

00:26:48.180 unprecedented in

00:26:50.660 really in

00:26:51.860 governance, not

00:26:53.560 just in the

00:26:54.100 United States, but

00:26:55.100 this has been a

00:26:56.260 silent coup that

00:26:58.180 has taken place

00:26:58.940 over 30 years.

00:27:00.680 we can argue the

00:27:01.880 number 35, 30

00:27:02.980 years, but to

00:27:04.840 have insinuated

00:27:05.700 this many

00:27:06.560 like-minded people

00:27:07.760 into the

00:27:08.600 permanent

00:27:08.880 bureaucracy, the

00:27:10.380 so-called deep

00:27:11.140 state, and the

00:27:12.900 Democrat Party, is

00:27:15.080 just, it's

00:27:16.000 mind-boggling to

00:27:16.900 think what they've

00:27:17.600 achieved while the

00:27:19.200 Republican Party

00:27:20.060 and our social

00:27:21.120 critics and

00:27:21.740 academia were

00:27:22.900 utterly blind to

00:27:24.000 it, or at

00:27:24.840 least averted

00:27:25.440 their eyes.

00:27:27.080 Well, I think

00:27:27.820 you've hit the

00:27:28.740 nail on the

00:27:29.220 head. 0.82

00:27:29.460 The problem

00:27:29.900 is if

00:27:30.400 Americans are

00:27:31.140 expecting anything

00:27:32.240 in terms of

00:27:33.760 viable leadership

00:27:34.820 to bring us

00:27:36.000 out of this

00:27:36.560 crisis from the

00:27:37.420 Republican Party,

00:27:38.360 they're very much

00:27:38.920 mistaken.

00:27:40.280 I think there

00:27:41.540 are millions and

00:27:42.300 millions and

00:27:42.900 millions.

00:27:43.380 I suggest there

00:27:44.480 are probably over

00:27:45.260 100 million voters

00:27:46.320 out there,

00:27:47.620 Democrats and

00:27:48.580 Republicans, who

00:27:49.340 figured out that

00:27:50.020 neither party is

00:27:50.940 remotely interested in

00:27:52.060 this country or

00:27:53.360 protecting their

00:27:54.120 interests.

00:27:54.520 the time is

00:27:55.660 right, in my

00:27:57.000 judgment now, for

00:27:57.800 that huge number

00:27:59.260 to stand up and

00:28:00.080 say no more.

00:28:01.260 I wish someone

00:28:02.600 would finally stand

00:28:03.760 up and say we

00:28:04.400 need a new party. 0.99

00:28:06.380 Yeah, I think

00:28:08.320 that's exactly

00:28:10.540 where we are.

00:28:12.020 Those are issues

00:28:13.040 that are going to

00:28:13.640 be resolved, I

00:28:14.340 think, within

00:28:14.900 probably, if we're

00:28:16.360 to succeed in

00:28:18.680 preserving this

00:28:20.600 republic, I think

00:28:21.920 they have to be

00:28:22.780 resolved, or at

00:28:24.380 least begun a

00:28:25.820 resolution, certainly

00:28:27.860 within the next six

00:28:28.740 months, perhaps at

00:28:29.920 the outside to the

00:28:31.340 end of this year.

00:28:33.020 The other thing

00:28:34.440 that you brought up

00:28:36.160 repeatedly on the

00:28:37.500 economic and

00:28:38.160 financial side is

00:28:39.220 now coming to

00:28:39.980 fruition.

00:28:40.880 I hear people all

00:28:41.760 the time say, oh,

00:28:42.700 well, we've never

00:28:43.440 defaulted.

00:28:44.340 We've just got to

00:28:45.240 print more money.

00:28:45.980 We can't default.

00:28:46.880 Well, we have

00:28:47.460 defaulted.

00:28:48.020 We defaulted twice

00:28:48.960 under Franklin

00:28:49.600 Roosevelt in 32

00:28:50.720 and 34.

00:28:51.360 And those

00:28:52.580 defaults were

00:28:53.800 called restructuring

00:28:55.080 the debt.

00:28:56.280 We were able to

00:28:57.160 do it because we

00:28:58.020 were demanding and

00:28:59.040 getting huge

00:28:59.860 quantities of gold

00:29:01.020 from Europe as

00:29:02.800 payment for World

00:29:03.860 War I debts.

00:29:05.060 The next time we

00:29:06.220 defaulted, and you've

00:29:07.460 spoken about this,

00:29:08.420 people don't

00:29:08.800 understand it, came

00:29:10.320 with Lyndon Johnson

00:29:11.300 because of his

00:29:12.080 great society and

00:29:13.140 his Vietnam War.

00:29:14.740 Nixon was

00:29:15.360 confronted with a

00:29:16.300 default, and we

00:29:17.580 went off the gold

00:29:18.940 standard because once

00:29:20.520 we left the gold

00:29:21.260 standard, we

00:29:21.880 could print.

00:29:23.140 Well, now we're

00:29:23.900 in a very serious

00:29:25.040 position.

00:29:25.900 The world is

00:29:26.860 starting to

00:29:27.700 de-dollarize.

00:29:29.160 We have bullied

00:29:30.160 and threatened so

00:29:31.040 many countries

00:29:31.880 over the years

00:29:33.500 with the financial

00:29:34.680 system that we

00:29:35.500 control.

00:29:36.280 They're just

00:29:37.020 walking away from

00:29:37.940 the dollar.

00:29:38.940 Most Americans

00:29:39.600 don't even know

00:29:40.340 it, and the

00:29:40.800 people on the

00:29:41.320 Hill have no

00:29:41.920 interest in telling

00:29:42.740 Americans the

00:29:43.500 truth.

00:29:44.560 So the crisis is

00:29:46.760 really on every

00:29:48.140 front, Lou, every

00:29:49.440 front.

00:29:50.500 You're exactly

00:29:51.000 right, and I

00:29:51.860 don't spend as

00:29:52.720 much time on

00:29:53.600 this podcast as

00:29:55.000 I should in

00:29:56.260 talking about the

00:29:57.360 dollar, in

00:29:58.420 talking about the

00:29:59.380 threat that losing

00:30:01.220 the reserve

00:30:01.800 currency status and

00:30:03.840 standing and

00:30:05.160 advantages would do

00:30:07.600 to this country.

00:30:08.480 If we can look at

00:30:09.900 any number of

00:30:10.640 perils it faces,

00:30:11.760 but that one is

00:30:12.640 certainly, that

00:30:14.640 would be, that

00:30:16.700 would be approaching

00:30:17.440 existential,

00:30:18.440 certainly.

00:30:19.440 And I should

00:30:20.380 underline what

00:30:21.440 you're saying.

00:30:22.520 We have seen

00:30:23.560 now 27 nations,

00:30:27.360 27 economies,

00:30:29.260 move back from

00:30:30.540 the dollar,

00:30:31.700 withdraw from

00:30:32.420 the dollar

00:30:32.960 circle, and as

00:30:34.860 the reserve

00:30:35.340 currency, as

00:30:36.840 and pegged

00:30:37.840 to the dollar.

00:30:39.080 That will have

00:30:40.380 in time, if it

00:30:41.520 continues the

00:30:42.260 pace, that

00:30:43.700 will have such

00:30:46.260 devastating

00:30:47.320 consequences

00:30:48.060 economically, that

00:30:49.680 I don't even

00:30:50.580 want to ponder

00:30:51.760 it, frankly.

00:30:53.280 But we do

00:30:54.120 have to take

00:30:54.840 note of also

00:30:56.180 the policies

00:30:57.320 being followed

00:30:58.020 by this

00:30:59.100 administration.

00:31:00.000 And Doug, it's

00:31:01.100 almost impossible

00:31:01.920 to imagine they've

00:31:02.740 only been in

00:31:03.300 office two years,

00:31:04.940 but they are

00:31:06.200 absolutely trying

00:31:08.580 to destroy this

00:31:09.520 economy.

00:31:10.180 And when the

00:31:11.000 president of the

00:31:11.660 United States is

00:31:12.380 standing before

00:31:13.020 the Senate and

00:31:14.560 the Congress,

00:31:15.100 the American

00:31:15.840 people, as

00:31:16.420 he was last

00:31:16.980 night, talking

00:31:17.880 about creating

00:31:19.580 jobs, when he

00:31:20.960 was talking about

00:31:21.680 actually jobs that

00:31:23.400 were lost in

00:31:25.080 COVID, but simply

00:31:26.240 people came back

00:31:27.860 to them, he's

00:31:29.020 only created 2.7,

00:31:30.360 but he stood

00:31:30.800 there and said he

00:31:31.880 had created 12

00:31:32.740 million jobs, that

00:31:34.340 this economy was

00:31:35.260 doing just fine.

00:31:36.140 We're not just

00:31:36.760 doing fine.

00:31:37.340 We have a Federal

00:31:37.960 Reserve with almost 0.63

00:31:38.940 a $9 trillion

00:31:40.060 balance sheet that

00:31:42.320 has to be run

00:31:43.080 off.

00:31:43.400 We have a

00:31:44.340 Federal Reserve

00:31:45.040 that has had the

00:31:46.840 idea that it

00:31:47.440 could manage

00:31:47.940 markets.

00:31:48.580 It is acquiring

00:31:50.080 some modesty

00:31:50.940 now.

00:31:51.340 I won't call it

00:31:51.880 full humility, but

00:31:53.780 we are in one

00:31:55.380 hell of a

00:31:56.000 circumstance.

00:31:57.620 No, you've hit

00:31:59.280 all the key

00:31:59.800 things, and I

00:32:01.160 just wish more

00:32:02.640 Americans could

00:32:03.400 hear that than

00:32:04.740 do, because I

00:32:06.800 think Americans

00:32:07.400 are good people.

00:32:09.160 Most Americans

00:32:10.040 obey the law, they

00:32:10.980 pay their taxes,

00:32:11.940 they make the

00:32:12.440 best of whatever

00:32:13.160 situation they're

00:32:14.020 in, but I don't

00:32:15.140 think they

00:32:15.480 understand the

00:32:16.240 bubble that their

00:32:17.600 government lives

00:32:18.360 in.

00:32:18.980 When you go inside

00:32:19.880 the Beltway, you're

00:32:20.900 in a different

00:32:21.300 world.

00:32:22.300 When you try to

00:32:22.840 tell people that

00:32:23.580 the food banks up

00:32:25.340 and down the East

00:32:26.180 Coast and into the

00:32:27.380 center of the

00:32:27.900 United States from

00:32:29.020 here to Kansas

00:32:29.720 City are hard

00:32:32.560 pressed to provide

00:32:34.000 enough food to the

00:32:35.720 people that actually

00:32:36.460 need them because the

00:32:37.660 situation is that

00:32:38.640 dire economically,

00:32:40.320 they look at you as

00:32:41.260 so you landed from

00:32:43.060 another planet, because

00:32:44.760 there is no scarcity

00:32:46.160 in Washington, D.C.

00:32:47.760 There's no scarcity

00:32:48.900 of anything, least

00:32:50.180 of all cash, certainly

00:32:51.720 not food, certainly

00:32:53.300 not quote-unquote the

00:32:54.460 good life.

00:32:55.540 So at some point,

00:32:56.760 somebody's got to wake

00:32:57.800 up and understand, if

00:32:59.360 you're expecting people

00:33:00.720 inside the Beltway to

00:33:01.840 save you, you're in

00:33:03.240 for a long wait.

00:33:05.240 I'm afraid that's the

00:33:06.420 case, and as the

00:33:07.340 president is hailing

00:33:09.840 his great success as

00:33:11.060 an economic leader,

00:33:14.040 right now, just about

00:33:16.020 70 percent of those

00:33:17.680 surveyed in this

00:33:19.360 economy say they are

00:33:20.900 living paycheck to

00:33:22.020 paycheck, almost a

00:33:23.860 hand-to-mouth

00:33:24.520 existence, and that is

00:33:26.680 outrageous.

00:33:27.380 I don't know, my guess

00:33:28.540 is that that is an

00:33:30.500 exaggeration statistically,

00:33:32.160 but the truth is, it

00:33:34.880 is representative of

00:33:36.380 a plight for many

00:33:37.640 Americans, and to have

00:33:39.560 it in the midst of so

00:33:40.940 much, so much money

00:33:43.140 flowing through the

00:33:43.940 system that is landing

00:33:44.920 in the pockets of so

00:33:46.040 few is remarkable.

00:33:49.140 One of the things we

00:33:50.100 know, we know that the

00:33:51.340 top 50, he was talking

00:33:52.400 about taxation, the top

00:33:54.660 50 percent of the

00:33:55.980 country pay all of the

00:33:58.900 taxes, but he was going

00:34:00.760 after the so-called one

00:34:01.780 percenters.

00:34:02.580 The one percenters pay 1.00

00:34:03.960 over 50 percent of all

00:34:05.400 the taxes.

00:34:06.720 The bottom half of the

00:34:08.680 tax payers pay something

00:34:12.200 on the, I believe it's

00:34:13.300 something on the order of

00:34:14.100 10 percent of all taxes.

00:34:16.220 It's really quite

00:34:17.160 something to behold, the

00:34:19.700 lies that ignore

00:34:21.840 statistical and, in fact,

00:34:24.280 not just statistical

00:34:25.300 representation, but the

00:34:26.480 reality of the American

00:34:28.480 economy and the American

00:34:30.020 middle class, which is

00:34:31.220 fighting for its very

00:34:34.060 existence right now.

00:34:36.460 All those points

00:34:37.260 exemplify everything

00:34:38.480 that's wrong with our

00:34:39.340 society.

00:34:40.560 I mean, all you have to

00:34:41.200 do is look at the

00:34:41.900 distribution of the tax

00:34:43.040 base.

00:34:43.960 You know your society's in

00:34:45.280 trouble.

00:34:45.940 Right.

00:34:46.920 Right.

00:34:47.580 And, you know, also to

00:34:48.840 look at the distribution

00:34:49.880 of the recruits into our

00:34:53.040 military, the volunteers,

00:34:54.740 which now are not

00:34:56.680 volunteers, and point of

00:34:58.920 fact, we can't find

00:35:00.840 enough volunteers to

00:35:02.320 fill our recruiting

00:35:03.520 goals.

00:35:04.580 The Russians have had a 0.99

00:35:06.040 way of rounding up

00:35:07.660 750,000.

00:35:09.480 It's called

00:35:09.700 conscription.

00:35:10.700 I don't know what we're

00:35:11.940 going to do, but we do

00:35:13.200 know that the quality of

00:35:14.740 the men and women who

00:35:16.380 are now being brought

00:35:17.900 into the U.S.

00:35:18.760 military standards have

00:35:19.940 repeatedly had to be

00:35:21.100 dropped.

00:35:22.260 This is not the same

00:35:23.520 military that was

00:35:24.520 envisioned and which was

00:35:26.380 a reality for at least

00:35:28.220 25 years.

00:35:29.880 This is something

00:35:30.580 entirely different.

00:35:32.320 And the general staff

00:35:33.720 officers, I will say

00:35:35.320 this, Doug, and I want

00:35:36.440 you to correct me with

00:35:37.480 your view, I think the

00:35:39.540 quality of leadership in

00:35:40.720 this military is

00:35:41.860 frightening.

00:35:44.600 I won't even quantify it

00:35:48.020 in any way.

00:35:48.940 It's just frightening to

00:35:50.260 see the quality of those

00:35:51.420 general officers.

00:35:53.400 Oh, no, you're

00:35:54.620 absolutely right.

00:35:55.500 And this is something

00:35:57.060 that's been going on for

00:35:58.060 30 years.

00:35:59.340 You can argue that in

00:36:00.560 many ways we peaked as a

00:36:02.780 great power in 1991.

00:36:05.200 And that's one of the

00:36:06.080 things I like to point out

00:36:07.040 to people.

00:36:07.540 You know, we managed to

00:36:08.480 get through 50 years or

00:36:10.840 excuse me, 40 years of

00:36:12.360 Cold War without

00:36:13.960 triggering a global

00:36:15.860 conflict, without going to

00:36:17.560 war with the Soviet Union

00:36:18.720 or China.

00:36:19.260 We managed to do that.

00:36:21.120 In addition to that, when

00:36:22.600 the Cold War ended and our

00:36:24.120 opponents collapsed, we were

00:36:26.400 prosperous.

00:36:27.300 We were successful.

00:36:28.900 Our economic strength was

00:36:30.520 unmatched.

00:36:31.900 Inside of just the last 12

00:36:34.260 months, we've collapsed.

00:36:37.340 Our military is in ruins.

00:36:39.780 And the Russians, who, quite 1.00

00:36:41.740 frankly, were not spending

00:36:42.920 prolifically on defense, have

00:36:44.780 now regained their former

00:36:46.100 stature and their economy is

00:36:47.920 booming, there's something

00:36:49.280 radically wrong with this

00:36:50.600 picture.

00:36:51.060 And you can't blame that on

00:36:52.360 the American people.

00:36:53.680 You've got to place the

00:36:54.900 blame where it belongs, and

00:36:56.040 that's in Washington with the

00:36:57.400 Biden administration.

00:36:59.360 It is.

00:37:00.320 And at the same time, the

00:37:02.860 blame as well rests with the

00:37:04.660 Republican Party, I truly

00:37:05.860 believe.

00:37:06.560 Oh, absolutely.

00:37:07.580 Yeah, you're 100% right.

00:37:09.120 They shut it aside.

00:37:10.320 The most successful

00:37:11.120 president we have seen in a

00:37:12.460 four-year period, I believe,

00:37:15.360 in the modern era, the most

00:37:17.200 successful with his

00:37:18.640 accomplishments.

00:37:19.560 And they feared him because

00:37:20.920 he didn't fear the

00:37:22.060 establishment.

00:37:23.240 He didn't fear the donor

00:37:25.220 class.

00:37:26.280 And the result has been just

00:37:29.460 an unending political

00:37:30.740 persecution of Donald Trump.

00:37:34.040 It's a sad moment.

00:37:37.800 It is a moment, though, for

00:37:38.860 people to put away tears for

00:37:42.040 what we have lost and think

00:37:43.760 about what we must regain.

00:37:46.620 Doug, I want to ask you as

00:37:48.380 we conclude here, we always

00:37:49.980 give our guests the last

00:37:51.000 word, as you know.

00:37:52.280 I would like you to give us

00:37:54.500 a sense of how you see what

00:37:57.000 looks to me to be a potential

00:37:59.180 constitutional crisis, the

00:38:01.600 military not informing

00:38:03.220 President Trump or, as it

00:38:04.660 turns out, Biden in 10

00:38:07.600 instances that were nine

00:38:09.880 instances of balloons crossing

00:38:12.380 into the U.S.

00:38:13.780 territory.

00:38:14.620 They did not inform the

00:38:16.260 commander-in-chief.

00:38:17.880 Your reaction to what may be

00:38:20.740 in prospect as a result of

00:38:22.220 that, your reaction, if you

00:38:25.000 would, please.

00:38:25.340 Well, we learned when

00:38:27.480 President Trump was in

00:38:28.860 office that the senior

00:38:31.120 leadership was not informing

00:38:33.100 him of the truth.

00:38:34.620 He gave specific directions,

00:38:37.260 instructions that we would

00:38:38.280 remove forces from Syria.

00:38:40.140 And they said, yes, sir.

00:38:41.760 And they did nothing.

00:38:42.920 In fact, they added forces to

00:38:45.120 the contingent in Syria.

00:38:47.100 They told him repeatedly that

00:38:48.940 they were doing things they

00:38:49.980 never did.

00:38:50.600 They simply ignored the

00:38:52.380 president.

00:38:53.340 And this process has

00:38:55.440 continued.

00:38:56.080 So I think you have a group

00:38:58.340 of people at the top of the

00:38:59.460 military now that are without

00:39:01.540 oversight, without supervision,

00:39:04.160 who are a force of their own.

00:39:06.680 And that has that's got to stop

00:39:09.320 a wholesale house cleaning of

00:39:11.460 the senior ranks of the armed

00:39:12.660 forces in order and then a

00:39:14.500 dramatic reduction in the

00:39:15.840 overhead.

00:39:17.020 You know, we look like a

00:39:18.760 banana republic, frankly, with

00:39:20.740 all of these three and four star

00:39:22.180 generals.

00:39:22.840 And people have no idea what the

00:39:24.840 world was like before we got

00:39:26.200 here.

00:39:26.720 You know, when when a general

00:39:28.320 officer with four stars like

00:39:30.000 Douglas MacArthur retired as

00:39:32.300 chief of staff of the army, he's he

00:39:34.860 was reduced in rank to his

00:39:36.460 permanent rank in the regular

00:39:38.280 army of two stars.

00:39:40.940 His rank was restored after the

00:39:43.040 war broke out.

00:39:44.720 But we had a very different

00:39:46.780 military in those days.

00:39:48.300 People did not expect to become

00:39:50.040 millionaires when they retired.

00:39:51.860 People did.

00:39:53.360 Treated as godlike figures for the

00:39:55.400 rest of their lives.

00:39:57.800 We have a cultural problem.

00:39:59.760 We have an economic problem.

00:40:01.180 We have a military problem, all

00:40:02.640 bound up with the Department of

00:40:03.840 Defense.

00:40:04.660 The only solution is to sweep it

00:40:06.300 out and radical surgery to

00:40:08.620 reduce this ponderous overhead.

00:40:12.060 That's vitally necessary.

00:40:13.800 And then we've got to get back to

00:40:14.920 basics in terms of principles of

00:40:17.300 civil military relations.

00:40:18.940 You can't have rogue generals

00:40:20.640 calling the Chinese to reassure the

00:40:23.720 Chinese that we're not attacking

00:40:25.400 them. 0.94

00:40:26.000 What kind of nonsense is that? 1.00

00:40:28.460 It's outrageous crap. 1.00

00:40:30.380 The man should have been relieved on 1.00

00:40:31.800 the spot.

00:40:32.260 What are we doing paying for

00:40:34.340 transgender operations in the

00:40:36.100 military?

00:40:36.500 Is that what the taxpayer expects

00:40:38.120 from the American military

00:40:39.720 establishment?

00:40:40.780 And what are we turning out from

00:40:42.120 the service academies?

00:40:43.180 We just have girls and boys in

00:40:45.240 uniform running around now.

00:40:46.760 The whole thing is rotten to the

00:40:49.260 core.

00:40:50.140 I hate to be blunt, but I think

00:40:51.840 that's where we are.

00:40:52.700 Well, we expected you to be blunt

00:40:56.040 and we would expect you, as

00:40:58.000 always, to be articulate in

00:41:01.080 expressing your insights, your

00:41:03.600 perspectives, and your wisdom.

00:41:05.500 We really appreciate you being with

00:41:07.320 us.

00:41:08.540 Colonel, you're a great American.

00:41:11.180 We appreciate your time and I look

00:41:13.060 forward to talking with you more.

00:41:15.740 And thanks for today and thanks for

00:41:18.520 your service to this great nation.

00:41:20.400 Colonel Doug McGregor.

00:41:21.540 Thank you, sir.

00:41:22.720 Okay.

00:41:23.160 Thanks, Lou.

00:41:23.860 Thanks, everybody, for being with

00:41:25.200 us today.

00:41:25.720 This week, our guests include

00:41:27.020 Congressman Byron Donalds,

00:41:28.960 Judicial Watchist Chris Farrell,

00:41:30.640 Dr. Robert Malone, on Do We or

00:41:33.080 Don't We Need Masks?

00:41:34.340 How Good or Bad Are the Vaccines?

00:41:36.920 And joining us tomorrow,

00:41:38.100 Congressman Mike Waltz.

00:41:39.880 He sits on three committees, House

00:41:41.960 Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and

00:41:43.940 Armed Services.

00:41:45.380 Join us here tomorrow when we should

00:41:47.440 know more about the Chinese balloon

00:41:49.300 broadside over the U.S.

00:41:51.060 Russia's plans against Ukraine. 0.97

00:41:53.860 And is Biden a lame duck? 0.54

00:41:55.780 What's next in the House 0.89

00:41:56.980 investigation of Biden corruption?

00:41:59.560 Please be with us here tomorrow for

00:42:01.280 all of that and more.

00:42:02.940 Till then, thanks for joining us.

00:42:05.040 God bless you and God bless America.
