00:01:18.080in blue centers all over the country where the Democrat Party, the Marxist Dems, are in charge of the judges, the prosecutors.

00:02:00.500Your thoughts as we sit down here today and as we begin.
00:02:05.060Well, Lou, let me let me first say back before Christmas, the L.A.
00:02:10.060Times wanted to do a feature story on me, a human interest story about how devastated I was and how it's destroying my family, all that.
00:02:17.120I said, I don't know where you're getting that.
00:02:19.180We're in the middle of a fight of our lifetime to decide whether freedom is going to survive in this country or not.
00:02:26.160And for whatever reason, I've been cast in a leading role on the front lines of that fight.
00:02:30.020I can't imagine anything more important for me to be doing.
00:02:33.460And it's precisely because I've got the academic and political credentials, the legal credentials to fight against this, perhaps as well as anybody in the country, that they're going after me so hard.
00:02:45.160So it's a little bit like my old professor said, if you're not catching incoming flack, you're not over the target.
00:02:50.640I guess I'm not only right over the target, but I've got weapons that they're very afraid of.
00:02:56.740Well, the truth in this instance has been ignored for what is now nine years when it comes to President Trump and the political persecution of a presidential candidate, a president, and then a former president.
00:03:13.380We are in the ninth year of that political persecution.
00:03:16.520We started out with the Russian hoax in various forms.
00:03:26.740That all of that was nothing more than a conspiracy against the president of the United States carried out by the deep state, the Marxist Dems, the Democratic National Committee and League with the Clinton campaign.
00:03:45.780And the national left wing media, the corporate media, the legacy media, they still haven't got the guts to acknowledge the truth.
00:03:52.920The Washington Post and the Washington Post and the New York Times are still clutching those Pulitzers that they won for lying through their teeth.
00:03:59.920It was it was the greatest political scandal in our nation's history.
00:04:03.240Hillary Clinton laundered money through her law firm to pay for a phony dossier that was then used by our government to obtain a FISA warrant on the opposing political campaign.
00:04:17.240They spied on him while he was a candidate.
00:04:18.920They continued to spy on him while after he was elected and they continued to spy on him after he was inaugurated and became their boss.
00:04:27.400Biggest political scandal in our nation's history.
00:04:29.640And they doctored evidence in order to get that FISA warrant.
00:04:33.060And none of them have paid any consequence at all for that, except for a slight slight slap on the hand by the guy that actually doctored the evidence.
00:04:42.900But the rest of them are off scat free.
00:04:46.060This this is a scandal of monumental proportions.
00:04:48.760And anyone that is trying to talk about it or talk about the subsequent scandal of the illegality in the 2020 election, they're the ones that are going that people are going after like me.
00:04:59.120And, you know, there's an old an old ad in English common law of seditious libel is called if you criticize the government, you could be prosecuted.
00:05:08.780And truth was not a defense, because if what you were saying about the government was true, that was more harmful.
00:05:14.680The old the old line was the greater the truth, the greater the libel.
00:05:18.460Our First Amendment was written in large part to prevent that.
00:05:22.340And yet that's what we have readopted.
00:05:32.840And and because of all that you've done, done for President Trump, defending President Trump and speaking out in the moment in which history will be written for for years.
00:05:45.920You are the enemy of the People's Republic of California.
00:05:52.080I mean, it's how can those attorneys, whether they're serving as judges, whether they're serving as prosecutors, part of the bar association, whatever, they're they're filthy liars.
00:06:18.700They gave me an investigatory letter, which after the complaint had been filed against me.
00:06:24.500And it said, you have no evidence of any of the things you said.
00:06:27.440You know, give us every bit of evidence you have for every speech you made, for every media interview you did, for every line and every brief you filed.
00:06:34.840And I did. I gave them tens of thousands of pages of documents supporting and they filed the charges anyway.
00:06:41.320And then we went through the most expensive and longest bar disciplinary proceeding in history.
00:06:45.520Lasted over 10 weeks, cost me upwards of three quarters of a million dollars.
00:06:49.560But it was the first time that the evidence had actually been placed in a court record.
00:06:56.820And they doctored, by the way, the attorneys going against me, doctored a quotation from a court decision to make the decision appear as if it said something dealing with the Electoral Count Act's constitutionality.
00:07:10.260This was a critical part of my legal analysis.
00:07:13.200And they said the court the day before I was making these claims, the court had already ruled the Electoral Count Act was constitutional.
00:08:14.820The Bar Association has to know what a calamity this decision to persecute you is.
00:08:23.100They have to understand that if they have anything resembling an IQ.
00:08:29.640Well, even even lawyers on the left side of the aisle have been contacting my my attorneys expressing outrage for for two things.
00:08:39.120One, the fact that this case was brought at all.
00:08:41.420This is a very serious threat to the rule of law and the ability of controversial clients, controversial in the minds of the elite, that is, to have actual representation.
00:08:51.100But more importantly, they spent millions of dollars bringing this prosecution against me.
00:08:57.060And now they're petitioning to raise their fees because they need more money.
00:09:00.660So people are pretty angry about that as well.
00:09:03.800I think they would call that lawyerly injustice.
00:09:09.380We'll see if they're quick to right their wrongs.

00:10:53.080We're back now with John Eastman who faces extraordinary evil forces, I'll put it that way, in the state of California, seeking to disbar him, to remove his livelihood, and to deny him due process in any fashion, resembling something that should be fundamental to the American way of life and our judicial system.
00:11:23.960This looks like the Soviet judicial system circa 1982, just to pick a year.
00:11:31.580I mean, John, the frustration, aside from the grievances that you have in terms of money and your time, this has got to be almost beyond your own belief that you're going through this.
00:11:48.200You know, lawyers have an ethical obligation to zealously represent the entrance of their client.
00:11:56.640We have an ethical obligation to pursue every lawful avenue.
00:12:02.300And, you know, you look at Thurgood Marshall, for example, when he pursued getting rid of separate but equal segregation in public schools.
00:12:09.820That was contrary to longstanding, controlling Supreme Court precedent.
00:12:16.300But the standard for lawyers is to push back against even bad precedent if you think you've got a reasonable or colorful argument to be made for changing the law.
00:12:26.380The things I was advising on, there was no law interpreting the constitutional provisions we were dealing with.
00:12:33.000So it wasn't like I was seeking to overturn something.
00:12:35.440I was giving an interpretation of the Constitution that I remain of the view was correct.
00:12:40.560But it was certainly an open question.
00:12:42.460And it would have been unethical for me not to pursue those avenues on behalf of my client.
00:12:47.140So for doing that, I'm now being charged with, what's the phrase they like to use, moral turpitude.
00:12:58.680That sounds like it could cover a lot of ground, doesn't it?
00:13:01.100Well, it certainly covers the conduct of the people that are bringing these charges against me.
00:13:05.180But the problem is, they don't fear the shoe ever being on the other foot.
00:13:11.740And that means you can abuse power without consequence.
00:13:15.140And that's a huge problem for the ongoing rule of law in this country.
00:13:19.500You know, I see people right now in the Republican Party wrestling with sort of like responses to the evil that has been done by the Marxist Dems Party.
00:13:35.140Whether it is Mark Elias and his lawsuits and all of the stratagems that he's pursued that some would say were just outrageously corrupt and utterly wrong.
00:13:50.480But whatever you think of him, he's been effective.
00:13:53.760Now we see the Republicans arguing over early voting.
00:13:57.860And we know that that goes beyond what was envisioned by the Constitution.
00:14:02.720It goes beyond anything that I'm aware of that's codified in state election law, or at least up until COVID-19, certainly.
00:14:14.880We are, and the Republican Party means to go out and get as many early votes as they can because it is the battleground upon which they find themselves fighting.
00:14:30.780And by that I mean go to the law and let it prevail, because therein lies our ultimate protection, whether we're Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative.
00:14:44.060The Constitution actually requires election day, not election month or election month and a half.
00:14:49.840This notion that we can have early voting, we can have mail-in voting, we can have people without any of the guardrail checks on fraud, you know, just gathering as many ballots as they can.
00:15:02.240All of that throws out the window, the notion that the end result actually reflects the consent of the governed.
00:15:10.020This is bigger than just losing or winning a single election.
00:15:13.800This is about whether we're going to remain a Republican form of government rooted in the consent of the governed.
00:15:19.380Because if we don't control our elections, if they are not fair, if they're not honest, we cease to be citizens in a free republic and we become serfs, slaves in an increasingly tyrannical government.
00:16:02.760And unfortunately, we have to say that to the Republican National Committee that has decided to advance early voting and to take the battle to the streets rather than to the courts.
00:16:14.260And I have to say, I am very disappointed in Laura Trump, the co-chair.
00:16:21.760The new leadership of the RNC is making a tremendous mistake because those of us who love this country, who are America first, we are MAGA to the bone and we support Donald Trump.
00:16:37.760I can't support an unconstitutional act like early voting, whether it comes from the RNC or the DNC.
00:16:45.260Well, and the other thing they forget is it's not just early voting, it's early fraudulent voting that the Democrats engaged in.
00:16:52.900And, you know, in 2018 in North Carolina, a former Democrat operative was hired by a Republican and he engaged in illegal ballot harvesting.
00:17:01.340And so it's now the Republican did it and he was prosecuted and the and the candidate had to withdraw.
00:17:06.200So so so if if we engage in it in the way they do, which is illegally, our guys will be prosecuted.
00:17:16.540John Eastman and he's getting a sip of water.
00:17:19.160And while he's doing so, we're going to take a quick break.
00:18:03.320And John, I have to say, I don't think people understand the the conflicts here and the and the battle that's being waged within the Republican Party itself.
00:18:14.660Because the issue of I mean, one ballot, one one approach to voting.
00:18:50.100They were put an indelible ink on their thumb so they couldn't come back later and vote again.
00:18:54.340We don't have anything remotely like those checks.
00:18:58.220We don't even in most places check your I.D. to make sure the person you're claiming is actually the person counting the ballot.
00:19:05.840In Wisconsin in 2020, they have a law that says you have to have a witness who knows you that signs under oath that the person submitting the ballot is the person they claim they are.
00:19:15.700And you have to put in your name and address if you're the witness under oath.
00:19:19.200That wasn't done in thousands of ballots.
00:19:21.820And the county clerks were directed to Google the names and try and doctor the evidence and put in ballots.
00:19:28.880I mean, that was a check against fraud that they just blew through.
00:19:33.280This this has been happening for far too long.
00:19:35.800And we will lose our ability to control the direction of our government if we don't get a handle on it.
00:19:41.040John, do you believe that we can get this corrected in time for the 2024 election?
00:19:46.560And because the RNC seems hell bent on doing it.
00:19:51.640And I I wish that every Republican would tell they go call into the RNC, their congressional delegations and tell them, hell, no, we're not going down that path.
00:20:11.440I don't I don't think there's time or the spine in the state legislatures to fix this problem before 2024, partly because we've got too many Republicans in name only in those state legislators that would rather have the Democrats reelected and destroy the country than have Trump reelected.
00:20:29.520And until those people get over their mean tweet problems with Trump, we're not going to make any headway into correcting illegality in elections.
00:20:38.800You know, the mean tweet thing, the superior view of Trump is is these Lilliputians are condescend to the giant of our time politically is hilarious to watch.
00:20:56.220They're rationalizing their own existence as well as their their thought processes.
00:21:00.600And we really need to move beyond them.
00:21:04.380And the rhinos that make up most of it seems to me most of the Republican Party, and at least as it's represented in Washington, D.C., that they are creating as much damage, tearing asunder this country with this very similar energy to that of the Marxist Dems.
00:21:24.880And their intent to destroy everything that is the American way.
00:21:31.220But but but but, Lou, they're the smartest people in the room.
00:21:35.760And they can't imagine that anybody came into office without consulting them.
00:21:40.600And so, therefore, the people that came into office must not know what they're doing, because we didn't ask the likes of Bill Kristol for his advice.
00:21:49.700They do not understand the dynamic of the war, literally war that we were in internally in this country and and and and in either sitting on the sidelines or in joining forces with the left in order to stop this MAGA movement, the outgrowth of the Tea Party movement.
00:22:08.720I mean, it was the Republicans in Washington that saw the Tea Party rather than the Marxist takeover, the Democrat Party as the bigger threat to this country.
00:22:17.320And and, you know, and and they know they don't they don't run the party anymore.
00:22:21.560Ninety percent of the rank and file of this party are not with those idiots that claim to be leaders.
00:22:26.800And their their claim their handle on power is about to end.
00:22:30.420And they're and they're reacting very badly.
00:22:32.940Yeah, there is obviously you can see a really an upwelling of remorse already that we will lose the services of Mitt Romney in January of 2025.
00:22:47.400John, I want to just say that I think that you talk about the war, you're you're on the point right now and we are wishing you all of the best in in your endeavors to overcome what is totalitarianism, an expression of ignorance on the part of the California Bar Association.
00:23:09.800I can't imagine why any self-respecting, talented attorney in the state of California is not ashamed of their bar association and of their profession right now in the state of California.
