The backlash against the FBI and Department of Justice is building, and a partial but important victory in the Mar-a-Lago Warrant Affidavit hearing is on the way. With us today is leading Republican pollster and political strategist John McLaughlin to give us a sense of that event s impact on the public and the midterms.
00:02:18.820Absolutely. And the voters are responding appropriately where this is out of control.
00:02:23.960And granted, I deal in polls, and we'll see plenty of polls this week where people will, you know, the media will explore this.
00:02:33.900And we saw some interesting ones from other pollsters like Trafalgar, where the level of voters that want to participate in it has increased significantly,
00:02:45.000particularly among Republicans and independents.
00:02:48.040And at the same time, when they thought this was motivated by the president's political enemies versus an impartial Justice Department investigation,
00:02:58.280almost half the voters said it was motivated politically.
00:03:01.880And five to four, they outnumbered those who thought this was impartial.
00:03:06.480And the results of the elections, I can speak of one case where I was polling for Leora Levy,
00:03:14.440who was a Trump-supported candidate in Connecticut, to run against Dick Blumenthal.
00:04:27.600And over 80% of those who listened and responded after the call that they would vote for Leora the next day.
00:04:33.840She went up 32 points after that endorsement, literally in a weekend, and won the primary over the state party endorsed candidate 50 to 40.
00:04:46.160So when you talk about the poll, by the way, we had a poll saying that if President Trump, and I spoke to the president ahead of time, several times, because Linda McMahon asked me to and Leora asked me to.
00:04:55.860And several times, I spoke to the president and said, the poll says that if you endorse Leora Levy, she will win with 48% of the vote because it was a three-way race.
00:05:54.400And, you know, when you look at what's going on in Wyoming, what's going on in upcoming primaries, the president's endorsement is now on steroids because the voters have totally been revolted by this FBI raid of the former president's home.
00:06:14.840And Merrick Garland is trying to now do damage control where they know they went too far because after trying to impeach him twice, the Russian collusion hoax, the January 6th committee, they can't stop him.
00:06:33.040You know, our last month's polls had President Trump beating Joe Biden 49-43 nationally among 1,000 likely voters and beating Kamala Harris 50-42.
00:06:42.960And the Republicans taking over the Congress.
00:06:46.260So this is a desperate attempt to, you know, basically find some way that they can criminalize President Trump so that they can stop him from leading the Republicans back to taking control of Congress in November.
00:07:01.620And then following that up with him being reelected president.
00:07:05.220They know they can't beat him at the ballot box.
00:07:08.100So it's the metaphor that I'm hearing from most people says this is like a banana republic.
00:07:14.520A banana republic or maybe just a totalitarian state.
00:07:19.180That works for me as well because this president is issuing executive orders, administrative orders, executive actions of all kinds.
00:07:32.740He is in negotiations with Iran, for crying out loud, and they're trying to kill, you know, all sorts of targets, including that former ambassador, John Bolton, and Rushdie, who seems like he's on his way to recovery here, thank God.
00:07:52.080And it's insane what this White House has become a bastion of idiots and incompetence.
00:08:02.100They're an embarrassment to the entire nation.
00:08:05.200And yet we have a corporatist media that will not deal.
00:08:09.860There was a crack in their wall of stupidity and bias.
00:08:14.520Jonathan Karl, ABC News, finally had the guts to say, you know, isn't this a little Orwellian to call it the Inflation Reduction Act when its impact is exactly the inverse?
00:08:52.300And we're seeing it in the primaries this year.
00:08:54.340We're seeing it where basically, as we talked about these primaries where President Trump's endorsed candidates are winning overwhelmingly, the Republicans are leading in the polls.
00:09:19.300They want to put the Republicans back in control of, you know, of Congress.
00:09:24.340And, you know, we're going to see it when when in effect we look at November 8th, we're going to see, you know, people just like in Virginia.
00:09:33.380We got a taste of it last year where Trump voters came out heavily in Virginia so that the Republicans took over state government there and, you know, elected a governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general.
00:09:48.760We saw it in New York and elections in the suburbs where they rejected cashless bail and they elected Republicans for county exec and district attorney, Nassau County, New York.
00:09:59.360We saw it in other places where they had elections last year.
00:10:03.060This year it's going to be even more intense and it's going to be on steroids because with the broken border, the national surge in crime, the idea that inflation is out of control and people know it's an inflation tax that, you know, their money is worth less.
00:10:19.940They know that the Democrats are raising taxes on them.
00:10:23.540They don't believe when you talk about Orwellian, they don't believe Joe Biden when he says he's not going to tax the middle class, he's breaking the middle class instead.
00:10:31.700And I think we're going to see, you know, Republicans, you know, in spite of the media spin, the national media spin, in spite of Democrats' attempts to try to basically mess with the, you know, the elections again because they're still mad at us.
00:10:53.160I was, I was, I was over the weekend, I was in Georgia with the Republican state majority.
00:10:56.500They changed the voting laws down there so that we don't have the illegal drop boxes again, so that we don't have votes without voter ID.
00:11:06.360And, you know, those laws are very popular and the Democrats are doing what they can to try to go back to the irregularities and blatant fraud, like in Wisconsin, where the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled four to three, that the drop boxes in Wisconsin were illegal.
00:11:22.820So, I think the Democrats are going to get more and more desperate as November 8th comes, but that's when we're going to see a major change in the whole country.
00:11:32.920In Wisconsin, firing Michael Gabelman, Robin Voss, the Assembly Speaker, I mean, it's just so corrupt in Wisconsin, politically corrupt.
00:11:44.400It's breathtaking because the Republican Party has the base to actually make substantive changes, but their corruption is just, as I say, it's just breathtaking.
00:11:59.400Gabelman did a great job as the special counsel, revealing Zuckerberg's influence in that election throughout, by the way, much of the country, but particularly in Wisconsin.
00:12:14.080Yes, and, you know, Ron Johnson is up for re-election, you know, probably when he'll probably be re-elected, but we've had, what was great is you've had people like, I know a long-time conservative friend of mine, Judge Jim Troopers, advises him, and there have been plenty of people that have worked to expose what they were doing with the election law up there, where they were fraudulently using the permanently disabled ballot.
00:12:42.080And, you know, there were people that weren't permanently disabled that were voting without voter ID and dropping off their ballots, and that kind of ballot harvesting is going to stop, and Ron Johnson should get re-elected in Wisconsin.
00:12:56.820But November 8th is a date where it's like a pressure cooker, where our side can hardly wait to come out and vote on Election Day, and that's what we have to, you know, keep telling people.
00:13:10.640That's the, you know, vote in the primaries and vote in the elections.
00:13:13.300So maybe explain to me why Laura Ingraham is quoted in Mediite as saying the country might be ready to move past Trump, Americans exhausted by the constant battle.
00:13:33.600I mean, it's like if you want to roll over and get beat, that would be the mistake.
00:13:38.160And, I mean, the tough part, I've always said people always thought, you know, you hear these people say, oh, we could do better with someone else.
00:13:46.620Someone else would be weaker, not as strong.
00:14:02.320And to the voters, it's because Donald Trump was probably the only person in 2016 that could have stood up to Hillary Clinton's corruption.
00:14:11.280And right now, he's the only person that would root out the Biden corruption because, you know, a lot of people pass it off as incompetence or that he's too old.
00:14:23.780And we're seeing it, you know, this past week, Joe Biden's vacationing in South Carolina for free at some $20 million mansion in South Carolina on the beach.
00:14:39.800And the double standard of justice where, you know, they're trying to persecute President Trump over boxes of documents that he probably declassified, that he's probably within his legal abilities as president that he took with him.
00:15:00.200You know, and they're not going after Barack Obama's, you know, files.
00:15:46.760I'm here to give you an update on the FBI's investigation of Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email system during her time as Secretary of State.
00:15:55.040Now, I have so far used the singular term email server in describing the referral that began our investigation.
00:16:01.940It turns out to have been more complicated than that.
00:16:05.320Secretary Clinton used several different servers and administrators of those servers during her four years at the State Department.
00:16:12.300And she also used numerous mobile devices to send and to read email on that personal domain.
00:16:19.480From the group of 30,000 emails returned to the State Department in 2014, 110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received.
00:16:37.500Eight of those chains contained information that was top secret at the time they were sent.
00:16:43.980Thirty-six of those chains contained secret information at the time.
00:16:48.840And eight contained confidential information at the time.
00:16:52.320That's the lowest level of classification.
00:16:54.660Separate from those, about 2,000 additional emails were up-classified to make them confidential.
00:17:03.460Those emails had not been classified at the time that they were sent or received.
00:17:07.500The FBI also discovered several thousand work-related emails that were not among the group of 30,000 emails returned by Secretary Clinton to State in 2014.
00:17:19.680There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton's position or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about those matters should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation.
00:17:34.360None of these emails should have been on any kind of unclassified system.
00:17:37.500But their presence is especially concerning because all of these emails were housed on unclassified personal servers, not even supported by full-time security staff, like those found at agencies and departments of the United States government, or even with a commercial email service like Gmail.
00:17:58.500And by the way, we haven't even got the discussion about all of the various iPhones and devices that were destroyed by Hillary, her staff, her chief of staff.
00:18:19.840How can anyone in even the most ignorant corner of the Marxist left dims even remotely suggest this president was in some way prosecutable for having 15 boxes sitting there that he declassified?
00:18:38.840By the way, the public is not being fooled.
00:18:42.840As I mentioned to you, the Trafalgar poll, which was done right after the raid, 48% this was done by Trump's political enemies versus only 40% saying it was an impartial justice system.
00:18:53.840And when you look at it, that includes 12% of the Democrats and Republicans, 77 to 15, they said this was done by Trump's political enemies.
00:19:02.840And among those who are independents, 54 to 35, they're the ones who are going to decide this election.
00:19:08.84054 to 35 said this was done by Trump's political enemies.
00:19:12.840So, you know, I mean, I'm sure Lou, you're probably waiting for the indictment of Hillary Clinton for using that server.
00:19:23.840I mean, it's just she clearly, according to Merrick Garland, she clearly violated the Espionage Act and whatever that says.
00:19:32.840But the double standard of justice, it's scary in the United States where Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, Democrats can get away with things that they are, you know, they're trying to persecute President Trump and stop their political adversaries.
00:19:49.840This is extremely dangerous when you look at the way the Democrats are weaponizing the Justice Department and the FBI for political gain.
00:20:01.840They know that this should not happen.
00:20:03.840It does not happen in a free and democratic country.
00:20:06.840And law enforcement should be something that is totally impartial.
00:20:10.840And here you've got Joe Biden basically, you know, pushing.
00:20:17.840And by the way, what I love is he says he did not know anything about the raid ahead of time.
00:20:23.840So if that's true, you've got a situation where Joe Biden either is lying to the American public or he's a fool and not control of his government.
00:20:33.840And I think I think that you've got a good case for fool.
00:20:38.840You've also got a good case for puppet.
00:20:41.840You've also got a good case for impaired.
00:20:44.840So he is an impaired puppet fool who is running the country.
00:20:52.840But we know who's running the country.
00:20:54.840They're what's the cabal of Marxist dims are being led by Obama and his fellow travelers.
00:21:05.840You know, it's all inference and supposition.
00:21:07.840But I have to tell you, it isn't easily refuted either.
00:21:11.840It is remarkable to think that this is going on in the United States and that Donald Trump has to be persecuted nonstop for six years before he was president.
00:21:23.840As a candidate for full years of his term in office, he's persecuted a special counsel to impeachments, as you said, and a January six just for, you know, icing on the cake.
00:21:39.840There's no group of leaders, not an industry, not in business or Wall Street, the American Bar Association, the ACLU, who will stand up and say, you know what?
00:21:51.840We have a bunch of corrupt Lilliputians in the FBI who are lower than snake scum, and we've got to fix it.
00:22:02.840And by the way, what's dangerous about this is, see, I'm a full believer that it's more about corruption, because during the campaign, when President Trump in October of 2020 asked me right before the night before the debate, said,
00:22:18.840some people are telling him not to make Hunter Biden's laptop and the corruption an issue.
00:22:23.840And I said, you have to make an issue because it's not getting through to all the voters, because Trump voters said the thing they liked least about Biden was corruption.
00:22:34.840Biden voters said that it was his age, he was too old.
00:22:37.840If if they thought he was corrupt, they were voting for Trump 18 to one.
00:22:41.840And in a post election survey we did for Brent Bozell's Media Research Center, 36% of all Biden voters on Election Day in 2020 were not aware about the Hunter Biden laptop story.
00:22:53.840The censorship, the blackout of Twitter and et cetera, the social media and the other media of the New York Post story about the Hunter Biden laptop actually helped Joe Biden win because 36% didn't know it.
00:23:05.840And if they did know about it, enough voters would have changed that Donald Trump would have won the election.
00:23:10.840So when you look at that kind of corruption that affected the last election and now we find out the things about he Joe Biden was the big guy that he was getting payments from Hunter Biden while he was, you know, after office.
00:23:27.840And he was able to lie about it that he said during the campaign, he knew nothing about it and the FBI has not pursued any prosecution of any of the kind of corruption that was going on where like I do work in Europe.
00:23:43.840And it's known that the oligarchs that had the Bidens on the payroll, they don't they have not suffered any sanctions like compared to other Russian oligarchs who have been sanctioned by the US government.
00:23:55.840Joe Biden, you know, he's helping Vladimir Putin keep the price of oil and gas high while the people of Ukraine are suffering atrocities every day.
00:24:06.840So, you know, that corruption has a price.
00:24:09.840And I think the average American is going to if we can make that the issue that the Biden White House is corrupt, that they're using this corruption against their political enemies.
00:24:22.840And guess what? They just passed, you know, a bill of seven hundred and sixty billion dollars in more spending in taxes, but also doubles the size of the IRS.
00:24:34.84087,000 agents that they're advertising for that must be willing to carry a gun and have and use deadly force if necessary, that they are going to unleash that on, you know, basically small businesses and taxpayers across America.
00:24:53.840I mean, it's not just Mar-a-Lago, the FBI raid.
00:24:57.840It's going to be small businesses and taxpayers, middle class taxpayers across the United States as they hire IRS agents.
00:25:05.840I mean, it's just the scandal and corruption is unbelievable.
00:25:09.840Consider this, John, Mike McCall, congressman, former head of the Homeland Security Committee, telling Trump that he better be dropping his tone, suggesting that he should.
00:25:27.840Everything he's saying is inflammatory when he criticizes the corrupt FBI and the corrupt DOJ in this corrupt administration.
00:25:36.840My gosh, you've got a party filled with Mike McCall's.
00:25:44.840They're not in any way, in any way recognizable as an intelligent and concerned citizens of this republic demanding the highest standard of conduct.
00:25:56.840Instead, they're saying to the president, you know, that raid that they carried out on you.
00:26:02.840Well, just don't say a word because it's important.
00:26:04.840People respect the FBI, the Department of Justice.
00:26:08.840By the way, the FBI, President Trump did not attack the FBI.
00:26:14.840That's a Merrick Garland damage control diversion.
00:26:18.840They're saying he's attacking the FBI.
00:26:24.840We're attacking the corrupt Biden administration that did this.
00:26:28.840And they did it because Joe Biden, Mike Goodwin wrote a column in the New York Post that basically he's reporting that, or it's his opinion that Merrick Garland had to do this because the January 6th committee's coming up empty.
00:26:45.840That Liz Cheney and Nancy Pelosi have found no evidence that they can charge the president with of insurrection or prevent him from running.
00:26:54.840This is all about stopping Donald Trump.
00:26:58.840And by the way, the FBI released a report June, I believe it was June 26th of last year, saying that they can't find any evidence of collusion between the president and those supporters who were on the, on the, on the grounds on Capitol Hill.
00:27:43.840But do you know how long it, I'm sorry, go ahead.
00:27:45.840The voters aren't, it's these elites in the beltway in Washington, the rhinos, the soft Republicans, and they'll get beat.
00:27:54.840If we, I mean, if Donald Trump is not the next nominee of the Republican party, we could very likely to get beat because you have to be really strong to stand up to this kind of corruption.
00:28:05.840And here he was, I mean, when you look at it, it has cost him money, just like in the, you know, the Declaration of Independence when they pledged their, their lives and their sacred honor and their fortunes to sign the Declaration of Independence.
00:28:20.840So, Donald Trump has been penalized and his businesses have been penalized because he stood up against this corruption.
00:28:27.840And they keep trying to find corruption against him and it's a dry well for them.
00:28:34.840And, and he's exposing their corruption.
00:28:36.840And this is the, the Washington political class, the corrupt Washington political class that deals with China, that deals with these big corporations that exploits the middle class across the heartland of the country.
00:28:48.840And the voters are seeing through this.
00:28:50.840And, you know, the Trump back candidates are going to win in November.
00:28:55.840And when they win and we take over the House and Senate, then what's going to happen is you're going to see the corruption exposed.
00:29:02.840And that's when the real panic will happen because they can see, then they, then you have a path to Donald Trump being reelected as president or elected again for the third time.
00:29:18.840And the big lie, the big lie that all of those anomalies and irregularities of the 2020 election have all been debunked, have been, you know, I love the way the corporatist media phrases it.
00:29:34.840Trump's still maintaining those false statements and conspiracy charges.
00:29:44.840And the truth right now is something that the left is running from.
00:29:49.840And every American has to understand that because it's just true.
00:29:54.840And every instance, I've got to ask you about the politics of something.
00:29:57.840And that is language because a call talking about inflammatory language, Trump coming out and saying that he wants to turn the heat down a bit.
00:30:08.840He actually apparently sent that message to Attorney General Merrick Garland.
00:30:38.840I think there's a big difference between saying that, you know, we can resolve this in a civil manner, but we shouldn't back up on the issues.
00:30:47.840I mean, there should be no violence and we should resolve this in a civil manner.
00:30:53.840But the reality is, did Joe Biden order this or not?
00:30:58.840Is Joe Biden lying to the American public or is he just not aware of what's going on?
00:31:04.840They have not released the affidavit that the warrant is based on.
00:31:09.840So there's things here that the administration is hiding and that we need as Republicans and as Americans, not just Republicans, not partisans, but as Americans, we need answers.
00:31:21.840What do the affidavits say that they went after, you know, this raid on a former president's home?
00:31:30.840You know, that raid happened in the last week.
00:31:35.840It happened within just about a week of President Trump's lawsuit moving forward.
00:31:45.840It happened within a month of his lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and the DNC and all of the other actors in the original crossfire hurricane conspiring against him.
00:32:00.840I think that those are the reasons, many of the reasons, why this had to be a raid at 630 in the morning on the 8th of August.
00:32:11.840These people are these people are crazy.
00:32:14.840They think that they've got suspicion power.
00:33:04.840And the worst part is, you know, we have to again, I said we have to wait till November 8th for the election, but the voters are going to vote.
00:33:12.840And that's going to be a really watershed moment where if the Republicans take back the House as they should and take back the Senate, which they have a chance of, even though the map and the elections favor the Democrats, then you're going to see real panic in Washington.
00:33:28.840Then you're going to see, you know, the mainstream media trying to dumb down the Republican leadership and the rhinos and the and, you know, the corruption, because in effect, they're going to be saying, oh, you shouldn't shouldn't hold hearings about Hunter Biden.
00:33:48.840You shouldn't go after what Hillary Clinton, you know, you should just drop all these things and just play ball with the, you know, with the corruption in Washington.
00:33:57.840And and I think you're going to find people and candidates who will soon be sworn in on November.
00:34:07.840January 1st, when they're sworn in, you're going to see people who are willing to find out what really happened and fix it.
00:34:14.840And be and right now they're destroying the country.
00:34:18.840I mean, Joe Biden has turned into the worst president in the history of the United States.
00:34:22.840And, you know, this the spending, the debt, the deficit, the weakness internationally where, you know, Russia can go on and China can go on and do whatever they want and commit atrocities, you know, in their countries and around the world.
00:34:39.840The American people aren't being fooled by this and they're they're really concerned and worried.
00:34:43.840I mean, we saw 43% of all Americans in our last poll.
00:34:47.840The voters told us they're having trouble making big basic ends meet.
00:34:51.840They can't afford to pay for food and drive to work at the same time, let alone have a medical bill.
00:34:58.840And then you've got another 30, 41% said that they, you know, they can still meet basic needs, but they've been significantly impacted by inflation.
00:35:07.840So we're watching the decline of America right before our eyes that this election, that's what it's about.
00:35:14.840If we don't elect Trump supporting Republicans in November, you're going to see the decline of America continue in such a way that there's there's people worried about the fate of our country and its very existence.
00:35:30.840Well, you're talking to one of them, I will guarantee you, because it's it's not a joke.
00:35:37.840And there is nothing about this that, as I've said a number of times, I think this is the most important election ever.
00:35:45.840And the reason I'm pretty sure it is is because I don't believe there will be an election after it if we don't take back this country.
00:35:53.840No, and it won't be a fair election because they'll get rid of voter ID, they'll have mass mailings of absentee ballots to be harvested like they do in California.
00:36:03.840And we'll lose, we'll lose the sense of integrity and honesty we have in, in, in elections and they'll be rigged from then on.
00:36:12.840So patriots have patriots have to decide whether or not Obama's promised fundamental transformation will be allowed to be completed.
00:36:25.840We're very, very much on the way to doing so.
00:36:29.840This election will decide whether or not his fundamental transformation of America becomes a reality.
