00:00:08.440 weekend. President Trump this week signing a highly anticipated executive order calling for

00:00:14.280 the dismantling of the Department of Education. President Trump, who was flanked by school

00:00:18.620 children, lawmakers, parental right advocates, and Republican governors from across the United

00:00:23.160 States, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Trump signed an

00:00:28.320 order declaring that, quote, the experiment of controlling American education through federal

00:00:32.700 programs and dollars and the unaccountability of the bureaucracy that those programs and dollars

00:00:38.380 support has plainly failed our children, our teachers, and our family. When President Carter

00:00:43.660 created the Federal Education Department in 1979, it was opposed by members of his own cabinet as

00:00:49.160 well as the American Federation of Teachers, the New York Times editorial board, and the famed

00:00:53.560 Democrat Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. History has proven them right. Absolutely right, in fact,

00:00:59.440 President Trump saying in that speech before signing that executive order. Now, this order

00:01:03.720 instructs the education secretary to, quote, maximize extent appropriate and permitted by law, take all

00:01:09.500 necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return authority over

00:01:14.840 education to the states and local communities while ensuring the effective and uninterrupted delivery of

00:01:20.380 services, programs, and benefits which Americans rely. Consistent with the Department of Education's

00:01:26.580 authority, the Secretary of Education shall ensure that the allocation of any federal Department

00:01:31.640 of Education funds is subject to rigorous compliance with federal law and administration policy,

00:01:37.740 including the requirement that any program or activity receiving federal assistance terminate illegal

00:01:43.720 discrimination obstructed order under the label diversity, equity of inclusion, also known as DEI,

00:01:50.520 or any similar programs. So in this, President Trump looking to restore power back to the students,

00:01:56.880 back to the teachers, get it out of the damn hands of these federal bureaucrats who have absolutely ruined 1.00

00:02:02.460 our education system in this country. FEMA fraud happening over in California, 20 times more applicants than

00:02:11.600 homes in the Los Angeles wildfires. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, also known as FEMA,

00:02:17.640 has received 270,000 applications from purported homeowners in the recent LA fires, though only about

00:02:24.600 13,000 homes were destroyed. What's going on in California? It seems maybe they're trying to make up a few

00:02:32.520 bucks off the federal government before the place gets gutted out. Not entirely sure what's happening over

00:02:38.560 there with those folks. And humiliation is seeking in for the Marxist Dems. Having initially tried to

00:02:45.860 black out the deal, and Musk eventually completed his takeover of Twitter back in October of 2022 for

00:02:51.520 $44 billion, since renaming it X, the move was widely derided by leftists and Democrats at the time as a

00:02:59.260 catastrophic mistake, and a sign that Musk was not a business genius so many believed him to be.

00:03:04.600 Many analysts also claimed that Musk had destroyed the platform by ending the company's aggressive

00:03:09.420 censorship regime, allowing conservative voices including the Gateway Pundit and many others back

00:03:14.780 on the platform. Well, we've got bad news. After taking a little bit of a dip, X's valuation has soared

00:03:54.020 The arrest of a 15-year FBI veteran, Jonathan Burma, occurred at John F. Kennedy International Airport

00:04:00.680 in New York this week. He was accused of printing about 130 files of classified FBI documents and

00:04:08.100 messages, later sharing their materials with associates for a book he's writing about his career at the

00:04:12.520 Bureau. Court document claimed that Burma's book draft contained information that obtained through his

00:04:18.540 position as an FBI special agent that relates to FBI's efforts and investigations into the foreign

00:04:23.840 country's weapons of mass destruction programs. This is a man who was going after President Trump for

00:04:29.660 what? Classified documents? What was he going after President Trump for? It's always the Marxist Dems, 0.76
