00:02:17.720 When I heard it, the representation,
00:02:21.080 at least my inference from the representation of the news,
00:02:24.620 was that it was a done deal, that it was the final vote.
00:02:29.360 And I have to tell you, it was an emotional moment
00:02:31.980 because of the importance of the decision.
00:02:34.180 And I really hadn't expected to be quite that emotional
00:02:38.860 upon learning, hearing the news.

00:02:45.480 Well, I agree with you, Lou.
00:02:47.660 I mean, this is a landmark decision,
00:02:50.420 if indeed this turns out to be the final decision of the court.
00:02:54.020 And I felt emotional about it.
00:02:56.140 One reason is this case, Roe v. Wade,
00:02:58.400 emanated from a Dallas courtroom about three blocks from our church.
00:03:02.420 And for the last few years, on the anniversary of Roe,
00:03:05.840 we've had church members go down in that very courtroom
00:03:08.800 and pray that that decision would be overturned.
00:03:12.060 And I believe God has answered our prayers.
00:03:14.540 And look, Lou, I believe this is a victory
00:03:16.220 for three different groups of people.
00:03:17.840 It's a victory for the unborn children,
00:03:20.120 millions of them in years to come,
00:03:22.220 who will be able to actually experience
00:03:24.540 their right to life God's given them.
00:03:26.980 It's a victory for millions of Christians and others
00:03:30.220 who have prayed for this outcome,
00:03:31.900 but not just prayed, have worked for elections

00:04:25.260 I am deeply troubled that someone has leaked this

00:04:34.640 But I know this, this Supreme Court now is tainted
00:04:39.000 and this decision is tainted because of what's transpired.

00:05:28.520 that John Roberts, his vote,

00:05:33.960 with the conservatives on the Supreme Court.

00:05:39.460 But the backlash upon that rumor hitting the media

00:05:47.160 Chief Justice Roberts to not vote with the conservatives.

00:22:31.700 Yeah, and as a number of people have pointed out, when the 14th Amendment was put into the Constitution, there was no right to abortion anywhere in the United States at that point.
00:22:46.040 So those who are trying to make the 14th Amendment argument and trying to find a place within the Constitution where such a right exists, it's an exercise in futility because it does not exist.

00:23:03.640 I am curious about now the states and the ban that will be put in place in some, or kept in place in some.
00:23:15.740 Give me your sense of what the political impact, because the pastor is not only a terrific shepherd of his flock and a great voice for Christianity,

00:25:16.660 if they would go ahead and announce now what they've decided.
00:25:19.820 I think Governor Abbott is exactly right, just as you're saying,
00:25:24.140 because now these, talking with Attorney General Ken Paxton of Texas,
00:25:30.400 he pointed out that these decisions, momentous and weighty,
00:25:37.060 typically are left to the end of the term, which would be the end of June.
00:25:42.080 And I think Governor Abbott is exactly right.

00:26:49.860 and I think about those words of 2 Chronicles 7.14 that really apply to any nation when God said,

00:27:03.200 then I will hear from heaven, I will hear their prayer, and I will heal their land.
00:27:08.540 And I think this potential decision is a great way for America to turn from its wickedness of the last 50 years
00:27:15.680 and allowing the slaughter of the unborn, and I hope what has happened here represents perhaps a new turning of God by America.
00:27:24.060 God is our only hope, and I hope God's people will rise up and continue to plead with him for his blessings on our great country.
