00:05:19.280 The 17-year-old who was fatally stabbed, Austin Metcalf in Frisco, Texas, by Carmelo Anthony,
00:05:27.280 a black gentleman, they were at a track meet, and reportedly what had happened was Carmelo Anthony,
00:05:36.880 who's the suspect in this case, was sitting under a tent where he wasn't, it wasn't his school,
00:05:44.980 it wasn't where his team was, and started provoking this gentleman, Austin Metcalf,
00:05:50.380 who was the victim in this case, and the rest of his teammates, they got into a little scuffle like school kids get into.
00:05:58.460 Metcalf had intimated that he leave and go hang out with his team and not be provoking.
00:06:04.240 Now they're at a track meet, and the scuffle turned into a bigger scuffle.
00:06:09.960 This gentleman, Carmelo Anthony, the suspect, pulled out a knife and stabbed this gentleman,
00:06:18.200 this white gentleman, in the chest, killing him.
00:06:21.760 Now, as I said, I haven't had time in full transparency to read completely,
00:06:26.140 but I'm giving you the news that's been intimated.
00:06:29.960 But my question is, why would this gentleman, this suspect, be carrying a knife to a track meet?

00:06:49.700 ever brought a weapon with me to any sort of sporting event that I was participating in.
00:06:57.100 So this man now is out on bail, which it was originally a million-dollar bail,

00:07:07.360 about calling balls and strikes, a Republican Collin County judge, Judge Angela Tucker,
00:07:14.340 allowing his release under house arrest and an ankle monitor.
00:07:18.840 So this is a Republican judge, bringing it down from a million to $250,000,
00:07:22.960 which is really only $25,000 because you post 10%.
00:07:25.680 Now, this man, the suspect, has since raised a half a million dollars through a GoFundMe.
00:07:34.500 Now, looking back at some cases that have happened in the past, Derek Chauvin and George Floyd,
00:07:41.660 it was a million-dollar bail for Derek Chauvin, okay, was never released, ultimately held in jail.
00:07:50.180 Kyle Rittenhouse, $2 million.
00:07:53.740 Now, he's being, this suspect, Carmel Anthony, is being compared to Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:07:58.580 There's, in my opinion, no comparison.
00:08:02.140 Kyle Rittenhouse was standing in a street during the summer of love,
00:08:05.400 protecting a car dealership that he was asked to do.
00:08:08.460 This suspect brought a knife to a high school track meet

00:09:57.800 whose own girlfriend signed affidavits with the police back in 2021
00:10:01.400 that he was a threat to her and that she was terrified of him.
