00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on another
00:00:06.480 beautiful day in america thanks so much for being with us tonight live for the great america show

00:00:15.540 the chat let us know where you're tuned in from if you're enjoying the show what you want to hear
00:00:18.660 more of or what you want to hear less of this is our great america show so always uh happy to take
00:00:24.860 uh your opinions and all that good stuff so be sure to join in on the chat and let us know where
00:00:29.320 you're tuned in from, as always. We've got a lot of stories to go over today, some big ones
00:00:33.160 about what's going on in America, what's been going on over the past few days with a little
00:00:37.940 bit of a long weekend there. So we got some news to catch up on. The big story of the day,
00:00:43.460 which I want to start out with, massive ruling. And I think it shows possibly a trajectory on
00:00:51.440 where the Supreme Court might start ruling and might start going on some of these election
00:00:57.980 cases and some of these cases that matter most for electoral integrity, for the sovereignty of
00:01:04.600 our elections, for fighting election fraud. And we got a little bit of a, I think, a glimpse
00:01:10.780 out of the Supreme Court yesterday. Now, a federal judge yesterday, yesterday afternoon,
00:01:16.960 ordered Missouri, great state of Missouri, to use its new GOP-favored congressional map
00:01:23.000 Just hours after the Supreme Court denied the state's emergency application, U.S. District Judge Stephen Clark, who's a Trump appointee, issued a temporary restraining order, TRO is sometimes called, blocking Missouri from using its 2022 congressional map that was drawn.
00:01:39.600 Chief Justice Clark issued the TRO within seven minutes before the 5 p.m. ballot deadline.
00:01:46.720 the TRO is for 14 days. Now, the Supreme Court just moments before his ruling ruled that they
00:01:54.640 were denying Missouri's emergency appeal to use the GOP favored congressional map in this year's
00:01:59.920 midterm elections. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh denied the Missouri emergency
00:02:04.920 application without comment, as he should. Let the Marxist Dems read it and weep. 0.57
00:02:11.900 Now, the showdown began after Missouri's Supreme Court last Thursday throughout the state's new
00:02:16.380 congressional map that favored GOP and eliminated one Marxist Dem seat. Now, the Democrats,
00:02:21.140 remember, folks, are the ones who started with the gerrymandering. They're the ones who started
00:02:26.900 with the cheating. The Republicans now are doing it the right way. They're doing it legitimately.
00:02:32.180 The way the Democrats do it is cheating. We all know that, though. We've known that for years.
00:02:36.380 Last year, the Missouri House of Representatives, controlled by the Republicans, passed a sweeping
00:02:40.220 new congressional map that will reduce Democrat representations to just one seat in Missouri.
00:02:44.820 By the way, a great state. In a 92-65 vote, GOP legislators approved a redistricting plan that dismantled the Democrat stronghold of the 5th district in Kansas City and portioned it around rural Republican-dominated districts to make it a little bit more fair.
00:03:04.620 Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hannaway responded to Judge Scorch's order saying that Missouri is prepared to follow and comply with judges' orders and that they will now comply with that new map.
00:03:15.940 So this is a massive win for Republicans. It's a massive win for electoral integrity, and it's a massive win for truth, justice in the American way and for the people who want legitimately drawn congressional maps.
00:03:31.340 For years, the Democrats have cheated and used gerrymandering.
00:03:36.380 Now, this isn't gerrymandering.
00:03:37.640 This is redistricting.
00:03:39.320 But for years, and the Republicans talk and talk and talk and do absolutely nothing about it, 0.51
00:03:45.240 as we all just sit back and, you know, get railroaded by the Marxist Dems for years.
00:03:56.680 So it's nice to see now that they're fighting back.
00:03:59.920 It's nice to see now that
00:04:01.800 The Republicans have a little bit of intestinal fortitude
00:04:06.520 And it was nice to see
00:04:08.140 Over the course of the last year
00:04:10.880 Some of these states stand up
00:04:13.220 And say you know what
00:04:16.400 You guys have been redistricting for forever
00:04:18.780 We're going to start to redistrict now
00:04:21.320 And we're going to start to look into our sheets
00:04:23.440 And we're going to start to
00:04:24.500 See what makes sense
00:04:29.920 And the Democrats are absolutely abhorring over it.
00:04:32.660 The Democrats are losing it, going absolutely berserk.
00:04:38.340 Now, something else big happening today, earlier today, the Republican midterm convention is officially kicked off as the start was this morning in Dallas as GOP candidates try to rally voters to get the heck to the polls come November.
00:04:55.320 Republicans have never had a midterm convention, while Democrats have had three.
00:04:58.700 Last one was in 1982. This convention is being called Trumpapalooza by insiders because it was created by President Trump and will heavily feature him.
00:05:07.820 He's speaking both tonight and Thursday. Tonight he'll be speaking at 9 p.m. tomorrow.
00:05:13.320 I believe they haven't released a time yet. President Trump wanted to set the tone for these midterm elections because let's be honest, the candidates on the ballot are lazy.
00:05:25.340 SOBs. The only way they win is by President Trump dragging them across the finish line
00:05:30.320 as per usual. It comes down to this every single election. And I don't know what they're going to do
00:05:36.280 after Trump is gone. I mean, who's going to drag these numbskulls across the finish line 0.99
00:05:46.220 who can't carry their own weight time and time and time again? Every election can't carry 1.00
00:05:51.320 themselves across the finish line they call daddy trump it's so pathetic now jd vance uh headlining 0.88
00:05:58.420 tomorrow night he won't be uh speaking um tonight president trump will be speaking both nights as i
00:06:05.420 said now as of today more than 110 people are scheduled to speak many are candidates who are
00:06:10.540 up for re-election like we want to hear these people uh several are celebrity trump supporters
00:06:15.840 Lee Greenwood, Amber Rose, Logan Paul, Mario Andretti, trying to fire up the base, trying to fire up Republicans to get the heck out and vote for these weak candidates.
00:06:29.440 Who, like I said, can't pull themselves across the finish line.
00:06:36.700 Now, fewer than half of the Republican candidates in competitive races are going to be at the convention as speakers.
00:06:42.180 They say they're going back to their district.
00:06:44.260 senator susan collins senator dan sullivan two of the biggest rhinos around and former senator
00:06:52.580 john sanuno of new hampshire who won his primary last night are also staying home
00:06:57.360 jd vance said republicans aren't worried about who can make it the president and i can go and
00:07:03.840 make the argument on national television vance says we don't need a congressman in a tight race
00:07:08.900 to be there in all cases.
00:07:10.640 Now, Trump has said he only wants those facing difficult races to come.
00:07:15.320 Everybody wants to be there, President Trump says,
00:07:18.360 but we're only asking those candidates that are in tight races,
00:07:20.560 a little up, a little down, or even to speak,
00:07:23.100 want to save the stage for them.
00:07:25.860 So now we wait and we see if President Trump can once again
00:07:31.140 pull these numbskulls across the finish line.
00:07:35.040 It happens every year, folks.
00:07:39.560 And we're stuck in the same situation every single year.
00:07:44.920 So sad.
00:07:45.720 Well, I shouldn't say every year.
00:07:46.540 I should say every midterm.
00:07:47.920 Folks, we're taking a quick break here live tonight for The Great America Show.
00:07:50.740 When we return, we've got so much more to talk about.
00:07:52.720 Nancy Pelosi caught again, insider trading.
00:07:55.940 We're going to tell you all about that.
00:07:57.440 President Trump speaking with Vladimir Putin today for an hour long.
00:08:01.780 Elaine Chao, you know the name, wife of Mitch McConnell. 0.97
00:08:06.020 We're going to tell you what she just got caught doing.
00:08:08.900 And President Trump and J.D. Vance want to now reward parents who stay home with their kids.
00:08:15.260 We got an update on oil prices, all that and much, much more on the other side of this quick break.
00:08:18.520 So please stay with us, folks. We're coming right back on The Great America Show.
00:08:21.340 It continues in just one moment. As always, let us know in the chat where you're tuned in from.
00:08:26.980 If you're enjoying The Great America Show, we will be right back. So please stay with us.
00:08:30.420 thanks everybody for staying with us here live tonight for the great america show as always let
00:08:39.800 us know in the comments where you're tuned in from and let's get this chat uh fired up uh also uh
00:08:44.560 programming note president trump will be speaking as we said 9 p.m tonight uh from the convention
00:08:49.320 trying to fire up like i said these lazy rhinos who quite honestly i'm not entirely sure they even
00:08:55.940 deserve to be carried across the finish line as President Trump and J.D. Vance try to do so.
00:09:02.920 Now, the White House is reportedly planning to reverse a half century of damage to the nuclear 0.68
00:09:08.600 family by rewarding married parents who stay home and raise their children. Vice President J.D. Vance
00:09:14.440 appears poised to officially announce the program at tomorrow's convention speech. Could be a big
00:09:20.560 one. The administration is drafting a rule that would let stay-at-home parents receive subsidies
00:09:26.920 from the $12 billion child care and developmental fund. Vance has made the initiative and a priority
00:09:32.440 telling the crowd at his Marietta, Georgia rally that this past Saturday, what's left over the
00:09:37.940 ashes, what they've torn down is socialism. Well, we've got a different approach, my friends. We
00:09:42.840 want to invest in you. We want to fight for you. We want to fight for your children's future. He
00:09:48.620 It says they're going to defeat socialism by giving you a stake in the American dream.
00:09:52.740 That's how we're going to win the future.
00:09:54.240 Our goal is to reverse the consensus that has screwed over communities like this one for decades.
00:09:59.280 Now, under the draft, one married parent could receive aid to care for their own child
00:10:03.640 while a spouse works at least 35 hours a week.
00:10:06.860 Unmarried couples and non-working single parents would remain ineligible
00:10:09.740 because, think about it, you're not contributing anything to the system.
00:10:14.160 Now, this program serves about 1.3 million children,
00:10:16.780 mostly in households headed by a single working parent.
00:10:20.100 Critics say expanding eligibility without extra funding
00:10:22.680 would squeeze current recipients and providers,
00:10:25.180 and the rule would need White House approval and public comment period
00:10:27.740 to take effect next year.
00:10:30.000 Now, a stay-at-home parent subsidy could help advance lock the 2028 GOP candidacy,
00:10:38.760 I guess you could say,
00:10:41.100 receiving about 40% in recent averages by owning family costs.
00:10:44.200 Polls show that most voters call child care a major affordability problem, and many parents still prefer one adult at home with a young kid, which I think is nice. 0.99
00:10:54.220 The notion that we live in America now where you can't raise your kid and you've got to have some stranger come in and raise your darn kid, I think it's crazy. 0.55
00:11:03.440 I think that getting back to core American values is huge. 0.96
00:11:09.840 Getting back to, you know, how America started is huge.
00:11:20.560 My parents, your parents, you know, all raised by their parents.
00:11:24.680 And they figured out a way to make it work.
00:11:26.620 And now it's, I feel, you know, everyone's got to get the nanny, drop the kid off here, drop the kid off there.
00:11:35.580 You know, it's, I don't know.
00:11:39.480 I think this is an actual huge win for Vance.
00:11:44.000 I think it's a huge win for the Trump administration if they can get something like this through.
00:11:49.240 Now, conservative scholars have long argued that the Great Society welfare rules helped break up poor families,
00:11:54.000 especially black families, by paying more when no husband was at home.
00:11:57.660 President Lyndon B. Johnson's war on poverty made the aid to families with dependent children larger
00:12:03.760 and made requirements easier to reach.
00:12:06.800 So this is now a revival.
00:12:09.480 of the olden days.
00:12:16.240 And I think part of the problem was
00:12:18.220 divorce was extremely uncommon.
00:12:20.360 If you look back at the 50s,
00:12:21.800 which now today it seems,
00:12:24.580 you know, every day you hear somebody you know 0.95
00:12:26.540 is getting divorced, which is a darn shame.
00:12:29.440 But that's, it seems, the new society.
00:12:33.020 Now, back I said, like in the 1950s,
00:12:35.560 it's about 2.1 to 2.6 cases per thousand people.
00:12:39.480 edged up in the 60s and then climbed sharply in the 70s and peaked around
00:12:42.520 1980s. Now, researchers cite weaker stigma,
00:12:46.940 more women in paid work, and easier courts. California adopted 0.97
00:12:50.480 no-fault divorce in 1969. The Uniform Marriage and Divorce Act
00:12:54.660 spread that model, and the American Bar Association approved it in
00:12:58.500 74. So we're in a little bit of interesting times, folks.
00:13:03.560 But I think by President Trump,
00:13:06.680 as I said, and J.D. Vance doing this, it does allow American families to maybe go back to a 0.57
00:13:17.280 little bit of normalcy. Now, I don't know if you guys saw, but over the past few days,
00:13:21.120 there's been these stories out where the Marxist mainstream media is absolutely going crazy.
00:13:25.860 A story came out that President Trump had apparently gifted his aides, three of his aides,
00:13:29.940 $45,000 for Christmas, which for President Trump is nothing. He's a billionaire.
00:13:34.720 and he respects the people who work for him back when the great lou dobbs was alive every christmas
00:13:41.720 i got a very nice gift from him um you know it's what these people do who have money who appreciate
00:13:48.840 their people so trump gave gifts valued at 45 000 and they said it was cash or checks
00:13:56.540 but it was disclosed to each of his executive assistants natalie harp communications advisor
00:14:01.660 Margo Martin and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations,
00:14:05.140 Chamberlain Harris, all three of which I know are very 1.00
00:14:07.400 honorable women, great women, who bust their rear ends 1.00
00:14:11.520 and work hard. He also gave a 0.55
00:14:14.140 $20,000 gift to Director of Oval Office Operations, Walt Nata.
00:14:18.200 Gifts were listed in the Staffed Annual Financial
00:14:20.440 Disclosure Forms that were published by the Trump administration
00:14:23.120 this week. Harp, Martin, and Harris receive
00:14:26.400 a salary of $150,000 annually. Walt Nata
00:14:29.640 has paid $175,000 from the White House.
00:14:32.400 So President Trump continuing to be a regular guy
00:14:35.260 and taking care of his people.
00:14:37.260 But the mainstream media, they're not happy.
00:14:40.740 They don't think President Trump should be doing that. 0.62
00:14:42.720 So screw them. 0.79
00:14:44.080 Folks, we're taking one more quick break here 0.98
00:14:45.620 live tonight for The Great American Show.
00:14:47.440 As always, let us know in the comment section
00:14:49.020 right there below where you're tuned in from.
00:14:51.180 If you're not joining us live,
00:14:52.160 let us know in the comment or chat
00:14:54.220 or whatever platform you're joining us on
00:14:55.940 if you're enjoying the show.
00:14:57.400 We're taking one more quick break here.
00:14:59.320 We've got a lot more to get to, so stay with us.
00:15:01.460 We want to talk a little bit about oil prices and where they're going. 1.00
00:15:04.240 Mitch McConnell's wife may have been caught doing something naughty.
00:15:08.960 Trump and Putin holding an hour-long phone call today.
00:15:11.440 And Nancy Pelosi caught once again being Copernicus when it comes to stocks.
00:15:18.120 Stay with us, folks. We're coming right back.
00:15:20.040 Don't turn that dial.
00:15:20.820 thanks everybody for staying with us here live tonight on the great america show let us know
00:15:29.860 right below in the chat the comment section whatever you guys have in front of you
00:15:33.020 where you guys are tuned in from we appreciate all of our viewers on youtube rumble um facebook
00:15:40.420 all you guys who uh join us on um audio you guys are a delight you guys are awesome so we appreciate
00:15:46.840 you guys doing so. Nancy Pelosi, it seems that she's always got the insight. She's always got
00:15:52.760 the one-up as to what's going on in the stock market. I wish I was as smart as her when it
00:16:00.220 came to stock trading. I mean, this is a woman who can't formulate a sentence. Looks like she's 1.00
00:16:05.440 not well medically, yet somehow makes a killing when it comes to stock trading. How does she do 1.00
00:16:14.320 But I don't know. Nancy Pelosi has disclosed a multimillion dollar investment in her recent filings in an artificial intelligence company whose stock exploded in value soon after, as I'm sure you expected. 0.60
00:16:28.660 I was going to tell you. Now, follow along with this media, the timeline, because it's very interesting.
00:16:36.120 Pelosi's husband, who, of course, is the brains behind the operation, Nancy, I guess, is his sidekick, invested in a company called Bloom Energy.
00:16:43.160 It's a California-based company that provides fuel cell technology and power systems aimed at meeting the enormous electricity demands of AI data centers.
00:16:51.980 Now, according to the financial transaction that was just released by Nancy Pelosi, signed in August, her household made several Bloom Energy purchases in late July.
00:17:00.980 These transactions included 10,000 shares purchased in July of 2020, July 24th, along with 100 call options, according to this reporting, and another 5,000 shares, another 100 call options purchased on July 28th.
00:17:14.440 The disclosed value put on this combined transaction at a minimum of roughly $3 million, but it could actually be as much as $12 million.
00:17:22.840 And so how it works in Congress in your disclosure, you have box ranges.
00:17:26.120 So it says like, I don't know, zero to twenty five thousand, twenty five to one hundred thousand, one hundred to five hundred, five hundred to a million, so on and so forth.
00:17:34.900 And as the money gets higher, they spread them out a little bit.
00:17:37.560 So it could be as much as twelve million dollars because they use those broad ranges.
00:17:42.340 Now, the July 24 purchase of Bloom Energy came after the stock had suffered a significant decline.
00:17:51.060 Stock goes down, Paul buys.
00:17:53.360 Now, July 28th comes, four days later.
00:17:57.040 Happens to be the same day that Bloom Energy reported extremely strong earnings.
00:18:03.280 Annual revenue growth, about 165%.
00:18:06.400 Not bad, four days, 165%, not bad.
00:18:10.460 So, of course, the stocks subsequently took off.
00:18:13.480 Now comes September 4th, another major development arrived.
00:18:16.920 Bloom Energy was announced as a new addition to the S&P 500.
00:18:20.260 The company's schedule joined the Benchmark Index September 21st, and, of course, the stock surged, gaining nearly 40% over a five-day period.
00:18:33.160 By Tuesday, Bloom Energy shares were trading around $282 compared to $185 back on July 24th, the day that the Pelosi household decided to make the investment.
00:18:47.160 now Pelosi's office has said the former speaker doesn't own any stocks had no knowledge of
00:18:54.200 subsequent involvement in any of these transactions transactions were made by her
00:18:58.280 husband and reported through the congressional disclosure system as transactions involving a
00:19:02.380 spouse now it's either Nancy Pelosi is the luckiest person alive or she's got some 0.99
00:19:10.660 insider information now the New York Post has been going after her for years they said that 0.89
00:19:15.560 Pelosi has faced heated blowback for her family's trading activity,
00:19:20.600 racking up 65% returns on her portfolio in 2023,
00:19:23.900 while her venture capital husband made $38 million worth of stock trades
00:19:28.640 in the weeks leading up to President Trump's inauguration.
00:19:32.920 It begs the question, why are these members of Congress allowed to trade stocks?
00:19:37.000 Why are their spouses allowed to trade stocks?
00:19:40.180 I mean, this is the corruption right in front of our very eyes,
00:19:42.560 and it's the reason that people hate politicians. 1.00
00:19:45.560 they're liars they're cheaters and they're thieves 1.00
00:19:49.740 and they do it with a straight face they look right at us and say i'm not doing anything wrong 1.00
00:19:56.000 it's like walking in on your husband cheating on you and i'm looking at you saying no i wasn't
00:20:01.020 cheating it's like this is right before our eyes and these politicians wonder why everyone hates
00:20:08.560 them and of course nobody they always talk about it we want to ban congressional stock trading and
00:20:14.420 every candidate runs on it but then when push comes to shove and it goes time to congress and
00:20:18.740 one person says let's do it everyone says shut your mouth you won't be re-elected shut your
00:20:24.220 mouth you won't get a dollar from us for re-election trump why isn't trump pushed for it
00:20:30.460 it's the craziest thing in the world to think that these people want to go there for 174
00:20:39.020 thousand dollars a year which is a lot of money by the way but it's not a lot of money if you
00:20:42.780 have a family it's not a lot of money if you have to have two households and pay two mortgages if
00:20:48.260 you have a house that you're paying a mortgage of 2500 bucks or three grand a month on and then
00:20:51.980 you got to go get a joint in dc for 2500 three thousand dollars a month and then you got kids
00:20:55.900 school that you got to pay for well you know you're paying ten thousand dollars a month seven
00:21:00.100 ten thousand dollars a month in bills 174 000 you take out the taxes and your money's gone so
00:21:06.300 it's a desirable job but a desire desirable salary if you don't have to pay for two houses
00:21:11.920 or family. So you have to wonder why these people stay there for 30 and 40 years
00:21:20.500 who go in with not a pot to piss in and come out multimillionaires. Now, speaking of one of those
00:21:26.940 people, you all know her, Mitch McConnell's wife, Elaine Chao. She allegedly held multiple
00:21:32.780 appointments from CCP-linked organizations with some overlap with her service in two U.S.
00:21:38.180 cabinets. Imagine that. Elaine Chao organized meetings connected to the Chinese Communist
00:21:46.060 Party's global influence apparatus. This is according to a new investigation that's been
00:21:53.340 done by the Daily Caller News Foundation, which reviewed Chinese government announcements,
00:21:58.080 state-run media reports, and archive records. Chao, who's the wife of longtime Senator Mitch
00:22:04.660 mcconnell who i guess a lot of us haven't heard from him quite some time serves as the labor
00:22:09.480 secretary for george w bush and his administration and then later served as president trump's
00:22:13.840 secretary uh transportation from january of 2017 uh to january of 2021 now according to this
00:22:21.380 investigation chinese records identified chow has received multiple at least four meetings
00:22:28.760 since her 2008 municipal government organized connection to the ccp united work front department
00:22:37.820 right before our eyes folks once again the u.s china economic and security review commission
00:22:44.100 report describes the united states front worker department as the ccp agency responsible for
00:22:49.060 coordinating influence operations intended to co-opt individuals shape foreign opinions and
00:22:53.500 advance beijing's political interest overseas she's literally lobbying for the ccp while working for
00:23:00.180 a president of the united states the ccp was allegedly handing titles to the wives of one 0.58
00:23:05.720 of the most powerful republicans in washington portions of that time a sitting member of the 0.75
00:23:10.900 united states cabinet according to the um documents that were reviewed chow and her
00:23:18.780 father, foremost group founder, James S. C. Chow,
00:23:22.520 reported honorary chairman of the Third Council of the Jidang branch of Chinese
00:23:26.260 Overseas Friendship Association in December of 2028, 2008.
00:23:31.280 At the time, Chow was still serving as America's labor secretary.
00:23:35.980 The corruption, folks, right before our eyes.
00:23:40.260 And they expect us to like them, these politicians.
00:23:43.420 President Trump this afternoon speaking with Vladimir Putin for an hour long
00:23:48.260 on a phone, preserving his goal to bring peace and happiness to Europe and end the war with
00:23:54.500 Ukraine. Now, this comes after President Trump's top envoy, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner,
00:23:59.960 traveled to Moscow and Kiev, having very consequential meetings with Putin and Zelensky.
00:24:05.300 According to the Kremlin aide, Trump reportedly told Putin that he wants a swift end to the war
00:24:08.840 in Ukraine, something that he believes will unlock a wealth of U.S.-Russia commercial ties
00:24:13.340 and maybe normalize relations with Russia again,
00:24:17.600 which the Democrats will tell you it's crazy, it's this, it's that.
00:24:21.560 Well, it's either Russia's friends with America or Russia's friends with China.
00:24:24.880 You pick which one you want. 0.77
00:24:27.000 Do you want two adversarial nuclear war powers?
00:24:32.360 Or, I mean, do you want to try to make one nicer one?
00:24:37.040 It is what it is. 1.00
00:24:37.860 And I don't think there's ever nice to be made with China, 1.00
00:24:40.200 especially what they did during COVID killing millions and millions and tens 1.00
00:24:44.220 of millions of people.
00:24:46.020 So I don't think there's ever a truce to be made there. 0.96
00:24:49.340 So if you could chip Russia off from China and bring them to America, 1.00
00:24:54.540 it's a win. 1.00
00:24:55.880 Oh,
00:24:56.240 Putin's a bad man.
00:24:58.600 Well,
00:24:58.820 so was Joe Biden.
00:25:00.640 So was Barack Hussein Obama.
00:25:03.060 So is Xi Jinping.
00:25:05.440 And folks have no problem buying things that literally say made in China.
00:25:10.200 so you want to tell us you know no he's a bad man well everything you buy comes from china
00:25:16.280 so stop buying it if you if you want to practice what you preach so if president trump can make
00:25:22.420 something work with putin i think it's a win-win now speaking of russia we got another issue going
00:25:29.720 on uh just south of russia down in iran international benchmark oil prices surpassed
00:25:36.120 $100 a barrel this afternoon following the attack on oil facilities
00:25:39.480 and ships in the Middle East.
00:25:40.600 Brent crude oil jumped 3%, just over $100 this afternoon.
00:25:45.300 West Texas intermediate oil prices, the American benchmark,
00:25:47.880 rain below 100 a barrel, about $95 per barrel, a 2.5% increase.
00:25:54.240 Gasoline prices won't respond to the recent increases for some time,
00:25:56.980 but they continue to experience upward pressure
00:25:58.800 in the ongoing hostilities over in the Middle East.
00:26:01.540 The average price for a gallon of gas in the U.S. is about $4.22 on Wednesday.
00:26:07.440 This was up from about $4 a month ago and up from $3.19 a year ago.
00:26:15.020 California drivers paying the highest, an average of about almost $6 a gallon.
00:26:21.380 Indiana drivers paying the lowest, about $3.50 a gallon.
00:26:24.740 California, you got to look at their taxing system.
00:26:28.100 they charge anyone who uses
00:26:30.120 gas
00:26:32.220 to pay for their electric
00:26:34.240 subsidies
00:26:34.820 go figure that one 1.00
00:26:37.360 total freaking joke 0.81
