00:00:42.220We're just over a month out from the RNC convention, and the Trump team has reportedly started their vetting process for a vice president.
00:00:52.460And among the contenders, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and former North Dakota Governor Ben Burgum,
00:01:01.140South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, and Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, and also, well, Senator J.D. Vance.
00:01:11.000And Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, and the list goes on.
00:01:16.780Florida Congressman Byron Donalds, you would think it would be a shorter list by this time, but no luck.
00:01:23.300And former secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Ben Carson, and I've got three favorites among all of those.

00:02:33.760Joe is the patriarch of a family of drunks and drug addicts, and today on the stand was Hallie Biden, the president's daughter-in-law, former lover of Hunter and former wife slash widow of Beau, his favorite son.
00:02:49.040And it's been three days of Abby Lowell just trying to confuse the jury.
00:02:58.040And so Hunter's attorney, Abby Lowell, has been trying to basically throw any spike strip he can on the road to just sort of confuse the jury.
00:03:11.520And he's expecting and hoping that one person lie in jury selection and they get a hung jury.
00:03:17.780That's the most they can hope for right now.
00:03:19.540I very, very much think that it's not going to be a not guilty verdict.
00:03:23.900I just don't know if there's going to be one or two holdouts.
00:03:26.560But that's going to be coming on Monday, the deliberation probably.
00:03:30.280So as you've watched this trial, has anything about it surprised you, or is it comporting to what your expectations were and your sense of these people, this, I will call them a tragic family, tragic for America, certainly.
00:03:50.460The only thing that has been a little bit surprising is that they have Hallie and Kathleen and Zoe, one of the lovers, former lovers, on the stand.
00:04:02.320I truly didn't think they'd get them on the stand, even with immunity agreements.
00:04:06.280We've known that this family is degenerate in the superlative for years, and you have as well.
00:04:12.020We wrote in our dossier, Report on the Biden Laptop, about this gun affair.
00:04:16.480Quite honestly, the trial in California is much more legitimate in my mind because it's more serious felonies, tax evasion, and false filings and everything else.
00:04:28.720But this gun trial, ironically, one of the three charges could be reversed on appeal because there's a little bit of a question at the appellate level now, and hopefully it's SCOTUS too, about whether the 922G statute is unconstitutional.
00:04:43.860Hunter clearly was addicted to crack cocaine during this period, but I think the lying on the form is, from a constitutional standpoint, much more sound when it comes to overturning.
00:04:57.060It's an irony, though, because Joey not only helped institute the mandatory minimums for the differences between crack and powder cocaine, which his own son abused,
00:05:05.400but he also was very pivotal in the drug or the gun control fiasco.
00:05:13.520And, you know, Hallie, the widow, disposed of this .38 Colt revolver in a trash can about less than 1,000 feet from a school.
00:05:24.640And Joey was the exact senator in 1994 who instituted and sponsored the legislation that enhanced the felonies for gun violations and gun laws within 1,000 feet of a school.
00:05:43.980It's the fact that Hunter's never going to pay his attorneys.
00:05:47.840Abby Lowell is effectively doing this trial as an in-kind campaign contribution to Joey because his sugar brother, who's also suing me along with Hunter, is tapped out of liquid cash, and even his own family is abandoning him.
00:06:01.800So I know there's a lot there, but I wanted to get a lot.
00:06:04.020It's been a whale of a trial, but the level of surprises has been down.
00:06:10.760But we did post the transcripts today for days two and three.
00:06:49.580I mean, spending five minutes with Abby Lowell is hard to do, and she's had to spend hours with him, and she hasn't lost her mind, which is Hunter's attorney.
00:06:58.080So I think she's been very fair, very stern.
00:07:01.380You know, she just asked basic questions about the scope of the immunity in the plea deal, and all this went haywire last July.
00:07:09.840So the fact is, is that she was, you know, she was the judge that presided over the failed plea deal, and now she's the judge for this gun trial.
00:07:17.860And I found her pretty fair, but again, you know, she's given to both parties.
00:07:22.640I think that she's a little bit of an anomaly in that she's not solidly pro-Biden, but she is, you know, sort of in that, the legal establishment, I would call uniparty in Delaware.
00:07:34.200She was at the same firm for 25 years.
00:07:37.940I will say this, there's a difference between judges that presided over criminal trials and civil trials, and for somebody who just did 25 years of straight patent law, I've been pleased with her ability to, you know, rule on objections, and the jury instructions were good.
00:07:52.840You'd think that she's been doing criminal jury trials for a decade, and she's only been doing them, you know, for four and a half years now.
00:07:59.140Well, she had an impressive outing last year.

00:12:34.520And, you know, what is incredible, too, is they are making reactions to the jury and to the prosecutors while the proceedings are ongoing.

00:15:06.820And this gun affair went down in October, 2018.
00:15:09.220That's how, you know, David Weiss and his crew are only doing a limited hangout.
00:15:14.280They want to charge Hunter and convict Hunter on conduct that doesn't explicitly touch on Joe.
00:15:20.320But this gun episode is incredible because the ATF has the right to go into any federal, you know, firearms licensee and demand to see the 4473 form.
00:15:30.080Which is at the center of this case that Hunter made two false statements about.

00:18:37.200Monday was the most uneventful day, but it was the jury selection day.
00:18:41.280You know, we heard from, just to recap, we heard from Hunter's ex-wife.
00:18:45.960We heard from one of his ex-girlfriends.
00:18:47.720We heard from another ex-girlfriend, also his brother's widow today.
00:18:50.580And they, the stuff they described, that's why we posted the transcripts, the stuff they described was the, imagine if Caligula's son left a laptop at a Roman repair shop.
00:19:02.100That is the type of content on this device, not just the sex and drugs, but the business crimes, which the one in California, which I'll also be on, which I hope that I'll be able to get on your program one time to talk about the California trial in September.
00:19:40.640And I think Leo Wise will finally maybe scratch a little bit more of the most important criminal activity, which is not Hunter illegally owning a gun, although that is degenerate and hypocritical considering Joey's stances.
00:19:53.760But the fact that they ran a far-violating scheme for over a decade and laundered millions and millions of dollars.
00:20:37.220So as we look toward the next day and the conclusion, what do you think we – where does it all land?
00:20:49.940I think that the defense will start their case about 2 p.m. tomorrow.
00:20:55.340And Hunter probably will take the stand.
00:20:58.180I think that he won't take the stand in California because the evidence is much more important and much more damning, in my opinion, meaning the number of charges in Delaware.
00:21:06.800The most important reason I think he'll take the stand in Delaware as opposed to California is because this is his backyard.
00:21:12.240I mean, Joey was not only the senator from MB&A Bank, but he was a senator from Delaware for 36 years.
00:21:18.140And, you know, Miranda Devine had a good jingle today.
00:21:22.760She called him the crown prince of Delaware instead of Belair.
00:21:26.320But – so I think that people will know him on – you know, maybe some people in L.A. don't know Hunter Biden, even though he's the smartest man the U.S. president knows.
00:21:36.200And so I think you're going to see Hunter – to answer your question directly – Hunter take the stand mid-morning Monday, and they'll start deliberations late Monday and will probably have a verdict by Tuesday.
00:21:45.780I predict a guilty verdict, 70 to 30, but I think there's a 30 percent chance there'll be a hung jury.
00:21:52.340I will be shocked if it is not guilty because it's such a cut-and-dry case.
00:21:56.220I mean, you have text messages from him saying, I'm laying on a car at the corner of 4th and Rodney smoking crack.
00:22:18.020Sure, he owes Kathleen $3 million in alimony, but she didn't get an immunity agreement.
00:22:22.340So every sophistry tactic that Lowell has tried – confusion, just asking that on cross-examination Lowell asks 500 questions – I don't think it'll stick.
