Russ Tice, former senior intelligence analyst with the NSA and whistleblower joins me to talk about the need to reinstate Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of the USA PATRIOTS Act, and why it should not be reauthorized.
00:13:17.340Apparently, no one in the NSA is stepping forward in these dark times.
00:13:21.860No one, I shouldn't say no one, but very few people have stepped forward in the FBI to blow the whistle on all sorts of dirty, dark deeds by the FBI, the Department of Justice.

00:13:42.900And yet the Republican Party, and this is my personal complaint, the Republican Party is not doing nearly enough in the face of all these whistleblowers and what we now know about both the capacity of NSA to store every electronic exchange that we make,
00:14:00.800and the CIA, the military, all of their agencies, intelligence agencies, they're working against the American people.
00:14:12.900They're blocking our voices because we got away with it in 2016, and President Trump was thereby the last man elected in an honest fashion over the last 10 years.
00:14:26.480Well, you've got to remember, especially with what Mr. Ben said, now we know how we use this sort of information overseas.
00:14:33.460They manipulated elections, and they manipulate how people think in other countries.
00:14:40.860I mean, think about what else happened in 2014.

00:14:55.880They said – and, you know, I mean, look back in the 50s when what we did in Greece and how – back then it was like, well, we have to do this because we can't allow a communist to be elected.

00:15:10.080But like everything else, we develop these things, and then ultimately someone decides, hey, you know, we can use this to manipulate the American people,
00:15:20.400and we can use this to rig American elections for one side or the other.
00:15:25.500And, oh, by the way, if I'm in the intelligence community, I say one side or the other, as long as you keep money coming to the deep state and to the intelligence community,
00:15:35.540I'm going to make sure you get elected and you make sure that I'm going to be taken care of.

00:17:41.940They can't have the Ukrainians talking about, you know, bringing in NATO when Crimea is literally the headquarters for one of their warm seaports for their military.
00:17:54.120So this whole thing, you know, I see these people on, you know, oh, we must – you know, if this doesn't happen, we have to go to war with Russia or they're going to try to take over Poland and we have to preemptively – you know, these people, first of all, most of them are warmongers.
00:18:11.860And they all have ties to the military industrial, you know, community where they're all getting kickbacks and they're all on boards for the big, you know, weapons producers.
00:18:22.820So this whole thing, like you said, we're all being hyped up and we're being fed the boogeyman.
00:18:29.580And like Mr. Pence is, they're using those means of manipulation to try to fool the people.
00:18:59.980And we keep talking about – you know, and I don't want to talk about foreign policy too much because it makes us ignore the most important issue of all.
00:19:06.940And that is what is happening to us in our own country, domestically, brought to us by what has become our most dangerous enemy, our own federal government.
00:19:20.200The military, the intelligence offices and agencies, the point of fact, the White House itself now and under Obama.

00:19:42.800Jake Sullivan, the national security advisor the other day, I think two days ago, said that when asked about whether or not President Biden would veto a bill that would secure the rights for free speech,
00:20:00.020he said we might have to because he didn't – how did he put it?
00:20:05.740He said that we don't believe that the First Amendment is in the interest of the national security apparatus, effectively, is what he said.
00:20:14.660I mean, this is a – the national security advisor, the president of the United States, saying they don't like the First Amendment and want to get rid of it.
00:20:37.720This weapon has now been used against a former president of the United States.
00:20:42.080They've used that to also augment the attack that they've put on President Trump to destroy him, all because he's running for president again.
00:20:53.420This is – when I got out of college and went in the Air Force, they make you – you raise your hand, and you have to promise or you vow to protect the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
00:21:09.100And I never thought – I'm like, what do you mean domestic?
00:21:12.360We're all – we want to fight – back then, we had to fight the Soviet communists.
00:21:16.220And I'm like, it wasn't until finally, after being in the intelligence service, and then being at NSA and that day, that fatal day that I found out what was happening, like being hit in the head with a brick.
00:21:28.220And then I realized, Lou, that I worked for the agency that was an enemy of the Constitution, a domestic enemy of our Constitution.
00:21:39.500I mean, it was like literally being – I was dumbfounded.
00:21:43.780It was just – I was a cog in that machine.
00:21:49.360Well, and that machine, what is distressing, I think, nearly everyone who cares about this country deeply and profoundly like you do, not only serving your country, but doing – following your oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
00:22:08.900We are a nation right now coming to the realization that we didn't just – that Donald Trump was right in 2020 when he said it's a rigged election and rigged in so many different ways.
00:22:22.940And here we are, going into this election, and very few people, very few people are talking about the likelihood that this election, that the deep state, the all-powerful intelligence agencies and the Department of Justice and FBI would let this election be free and fair because it is without question an election.

00:24:15.480There isn't a person I know who I respect in law who believes anything that the federal government is now pursuing, which is that the president didn't have a right to those documents.
00:24:30.600It's just what what is your judgment with all of your experience in the NSA and and and watching all of this unfold?
00:24:41.260What about Jack Smith and that preposterous assault on President Trump's both constitutional rights and and his guaranteed privileges as a former president of the United States?
00:24:56.020Lou, Lou, I specialized in the special access program, which are which are much higher than the the they have their own security systems and everything.
00:25:05.640They're beyond T.S.S.D.I., top secret, compartmentalized information.
00:25:12.020I in my specialty in that field, especially with the space stuff I dealt with, I was able to classify my own information so I could put a classification on my own work,
00:25:22.280on my own, you know, analysis on my own, you know, after action report or what have you, or when I wrote a mission, you know, where we're about to go do something spooky.
00:25:31.840But the thing is, when I do that, to try to get that to be unclassified, I would have to go through such horrible machinations.
00:25:49.760But there's one guy, there's one guy that could take, no matter what level of security I was dealing with,
00:25:56.740there's one person that could take that document and with a wave of the hand, like Mickey Mouse and the Sorcerer's Apprentice, the Disney Fantasia,

00:26:21.620They know that ultimately this thing is going to get thrown out because the president has that right.

00:26:41.420What do you make of the insistence on the part of the Marxists who run the Democrat Party to have their puppet president Biden strip President Trump of his privileges on classified documents?

00:28:41.400We know that they're saying perfectly out front in this administration, they want to pack the Supreme Court.

00:28:55.000They ignore Supreme Court orders, whether it's affirmative action, whether it is orders on canceling student loan debt.

00:29:08.980This is administration – this is a regime now that is telling everyone to go to hell and that this is going to – there's a new dawning and a new America, and they're going to run it.
00:29:20.740Is there, in your judgment, any possibility that anyone in the intelligence community would have the character, the integrity, and the love of country to stand up and say, no, and here are the goods?
00:29:37.460We know that there are decent people, obviously, working in that administration, that agency, but what in the world does it take to get to the point that we no longer have to consider not only the opposition party, the Marxist Dems are now officially the enemy, so is the deep state.
00:29:58.980And they have us in their crosshairs every day in almost every way, and they are changing our society and our way of life.
00:30:08.620The American way is dying before our very eyes at the hands of these people who are totalitarian, if not an intent in effect.
00:30:19.080And we can't tolerate it anymore because we're not going to have a government that requires the consent of the government so long as we ignore the fact that the intelligence agencies, the military, the State Department, this crushing establishment of the military-industrial complex is telling us what will be permitted, what will not.
00:30:41.320And by the way, they'll throw 1,200 of our citizens in jail and throw the key away and not even put them up for trial.
00:30:50.320This is no better than Russia right now, in my opinion.
00:30:54.260Well, this is the highway to despotism is what this is.
00:30:57.040And if you've ever read 1984 and see what Winston, you know, tried to do against the state, he was a functionary of basically new speech and that sort of thing.
00:31:09.660When he tried to break out, he was tortured.
00:31:14.200You know, so – and I use that as an example because I know I still have sources inside the intelligence agencies, and they're all running scared.
00:31:25.100You know, they saw what happened to me.
00:31:26.940And then we had a courageous young man come out, and he had the documents that proved everything I said.
00:31:33.240When they said I was crazy for saying it, this young man proved it with their own documents.
00:31:46.040So this is what happens when someone steps up.
00:31:47.760And they do this to make examples of people just like Winston in 1984, and we know what's going to happen to him after, you know, they're going to ultimately kill him.
00:31:57.020Well, let me be more practical about it, if I may, bring it down a little bit from, you know, from literature and just look at right now.
00:32:07.880What could the American people do right now to protect the Constitution to assure the – assure that the republic survives?
00:32:18.020You know, one of the instances would be there's a right to militia.
00:32:21.580There is a right to the Second Amendment to put guns in our hands.
00:32:26.740And let's say we start up neighborhood watches, and we stand up for the Constitution and insist upon it.
00:32:34.980At that point, by the definition of this government and this god-awful national security group, the CIA, the FBI, et cetera, and the national division, the FBI, national security division, I mean, we would be enemies of the state because we're protecting the Constitution, which they want to shred.
00:32:56.280But that's how upside down it is, how Orwellian it is.
00:33:00.440I don't know where people turn right now.
00:33:10.560Because of the security state and the fact that every aspect of everything we do is being watched, we have to be careful about how we ultimately, if we want to use the militias, of course they'll be coming for us.

00:33:29.180And dealing with the folks I dealt with, we knew right away when we were conversing and setting up our little secret meetings in the woods at 3 o'clock in the morning that we could not use any means of communication.
00:33:45.840So everything was done with dead drops, and everything was done where we set up codes and everything because we knew the capabilities.
00:33:52.580People have to understand that if, you know, don't take the cell phone to the meeting where you're going to talk about, you know, setting up your militia.

00:34:37.380So with that warning, to all who are hoping to be able to stand up for the Constitution and to protect their families and their own rights,
00:34:50.260it is a time where I personally, Russ, I have to say I don't think anyone could escape the prying ears and eyes of NSA and the surveillance state.

00:35:03.120I also think we have to understand that we have a political opportunity in this year, but we cannot trust one thing that we're told by the government.
00:35:12.100We can't trust one thing that we're being told by the Republican Party or the Democrat, except for one thing.
