00:00:47.640 IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler sat before the committee for over six hours laying out the case of how the Biden regime interfered with their investigation of Hunter Biden.

00:01:01.460 Ziegler, in his opening statement, said only the Merrick Garland Department of Justice's pressure on U.S. Attorney David Weiss made the Hunter's sweetheart deal possible.

00:01:11.600 We'll also note that while the impression has been conveyed by the U.S. Attorney in Delaware that he has similar powers to that of a special counsel in this case, free reign to do as needed, that was not the case.

00:01:23.740 It appeared to me, based on what I experienced, that the U.S. Attorney in Delaware in our investigation was constantly hamstrung, limited, and marginalized by DOJ officials, as well as other U.S. attorneys.

00:01:35.440 I still think that a special counsel is necessary for this investigation to further handle ancillary investigations that are spun off and relate to Hunter Biden but may not have venue in Delaware.

00:01:51.860 Lastly, I would like to conclude again by encouraging Congress and the administration to consider establishing an official channel for federal investigators to pull the emergency cord and raise the issue of the appointment or of the appointment of a special counsel for consideration by senior officials.

00:02:10.320 And co-witness Gary Shapley broke it down for the committee even more.

00:02:14.740 He laid out what the Department of Justice did to stop a full investigation of the president's son.

00:02:21.360 In this country, we believe in the rule of law, and that applies to everyone.

00:02:25.740 There should not be a two-track justice system depending on who you are and who you're connected to.

00:02:32.940 Based on my experience, I'm here to tell you that the Delaware U.S. Attorney's Office and Department of Justice handling the Hunter Biden tax investigation was very different from any other case in my 14 years at the IRS.

00:02:44.680 At every stage, decisions were made that benefited the subject of this investigation.

00:02:48.960 For example, prosecutors concealed contents of Hunter Biden's laptop from investigators.

00:02:55.840 DOJ slow-walked steps to include interviews, serving document requests, and executing search warrants.

00:03:01.140 Warrants that were ready as early as April of 2020, but were delayed until after the November 2020 election and never pursued.

00:03:09.380 Investigators were not allowed to follow up on WhatsApp messages from Hunter Biden's Apple iCloud backup, where he suggested he was sitting next to his father.

00:03:19.360 Assistant United States Attorney Leslie Wolf cited the optics of executing a search warrant at President Biden's residence as a deciding factor for not allowing it, even though she agreed that probable cause existed.

00:03:30.260 Prosecutors instructed investigators not to ask about the big guy or dad when conducting interviews.

00:03:37.620 The Biden transition team was tipped off about interviews the night before the investigation went over.

00:03:42.460 A fact, my FBI counterpart confirmed to this committee in a recent testimony, where the result was that only one witness spoke to investigators that day.

00:03:55.780 The testimony certainly spells trouble for Hunter Biden as the whistleblowers testified to not only his criminality, but the White House and DOJ interference with the IRS investigation.

00:04:37.000 On the day of action, you guys were intending to interview 12 people, one of whom was Rob Walker, a business associate of Hunter Biden.

00:05:51.900 And so, even by her response, she's inferring that Joe Biden may be involved in Hunter Biden's transactions.

00:06:08.320 Yeah, I was frustrated, because I think the format really prevents us from getting to the root of things.

00:06:17.260 I mean, I think we got a lot of substance in on our side.

00:06:20.740 The other side, I was counting, Lou, everybody except for two had to bring up Donald Trump.

00:06:27.780 They're so fixated with Donald Trump, has nothing to do with the issue, but that's okay.

00:06:32.720 I think that the substance that was there, if you watch that with an open mind, you understand that Joe Biden was a part and parcel of the Hunter Biden dealings, his business dealings.

00:06:50.900 And it was broad, and we only really focused on two countries today, Ukraine and Romania, not even really Romania so much.

00:06:59.560 That tells you how broad this is once you start bringing in China into the scope.

00:07:43.500 And now these whistleblowers today, Mr. Ziegler and Mr. Shapley, they're both indicated that they're going to send us more documentation as well.

00:07:52.600 And as we get that more, it's going to go to, has to go to ways and means and the ways and means will vote to make it public.

00:07:58.540 And that might just start up another hearing, but we've got to get these other countries out there as well.

00:08:05.660 And in particular, since the focus of the public has been on China throughout this, but Ziegler today, the IRS agent confirming for Dan Goldman, I don't know what Goldman thought he was doing as a Democratic congressman, a leading Democratic congressman.

00:08:26.160 And he led him into a confirmation of the testimony that Joe Biden does know the business of his son.

00:08:34.920 Well, yeah, I mean, and this is something we've been saying.

00:08:38.980 Actually, Goldman did better doing that than I did.

00:08:42.420 I mean, I was trying to link up Joe Biden and took him down that path.

00:08:47.600 But when Dan Goldberg did that, Goldman did that, it really was kind of a slip, kind of a faux pas, if you will.

00:09:02.560 Everybody that was there, and as long as Dan had been there, he should have known what the answer was going to be to that.

00:09:09.300 But, yeah, Joe Biden, and I'm serious, Lou, when I say this, Joe Biden was part and parcel.

00:09:16.680 I mean, he showed up in meetings, and that's what the Rob Walker testimony showed, that Hunter would call up his dad, say, come on over.

00:09:32.080 And so for Joe Biden to have said that he had no part in Hunter Biden's business was just a flat-out lie.

00:09:44.000 There are many lies that have been revealed by the committee and the committee's investigations.

00:09:53.560 If I understand it correctly, they're trying to get Walker in.

00:09:57.260 But Walker is in, if I'm not mistaken, he may be behind bars.

00:10:06.100 The one that we really want to get in is Devin Archer, and Devin Archer has agreed to come in.

00:10:14.000 It's just we've got to get him in before they take him and put him behind bars, because he's already been convicted and sentenced.

00:10:23.600 He's been subpoenaed, but we're trying to – see, right now, I would suspect that he has some enmity or bitter feelings towards the Biden family.

00:11:22.840 But as we look forward to all that has been revealed to this point, as we look forward from that base, it looks to me like – and the great thing about being a journalist and watching a witness to all of this is I don't have to prove anything in a court of law.

00:11:45.640 All I have to do is use my common sense, my logic, understand what the facts are, and on its face, everything that you've revealed, your committee, you and your committee have revealed to this point, says Joe Biden is absolutely corrupt.

00:12:04.680 His son, which the Democrats today seem to be very upset that even his name was mentioned, it's outrageous.

00:12:13.220 This is a man – and I don't understand the hesitancy in bringing impeachment against Merrick Garland, against Mayorkas, against Chris Wray, against Joe Biden.

00:13:25.500 Congressman, as we went to break there, you were saying you can't get votes in the conference to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of DHS?

00:13:40.260 You know, I filed, it's been two years since I filed my first resolution of impeachment on Mayorkas, and I've tried to get people to come along, and I got more people.

00:13:50.020 And then when we got the new session, new term, I filed again, and I've got support, and it's more support than I've ever had, but it's still not enough to get over the hump.

00:14:03.920 And if I can't get over the hump in my own conference, then we're not going to get anywhere.

00:14:13.220 I think, for me, the low-hanging fruit is Alejandro Mayorkas.

00:14:16.980 I mean, we're talking six or seven or more million illegal aliens have entered our country.

00:14:35.840 The number I hear a lot of people use, people who I think have a good sense of what's happening at that border and with illegal immigration and border security,

00:14:45.220 they said the number is somewhere 15 to 16 million to this point in the two and a half years of the Biden administration.

00:15:00.780 And then you've got the drugs that are coming through, not just fentanyl, of course, but other drugs that are coming in.

00:15:08.180 But included in that, think about this, Lou, the number of people that are children under the age of 18, 350,000 to 400,000 people of these kids.

00:15:21.880 Now, some of them, you know, a significant number of them, 250,000 or so, probably young men ages 14 to 18, which is dangerous in and of itself.

00:15:37.760 And this administration has misplaced at least or lost contact with at least 85,000 plus.

00:15:49.020 Yes, children. You've you've got child trafficking going on, child sex trafficking going on.

00:16:05.680 These cartels are now laundering their money in buying legitimate, otherwise legitimate businesses that they're working on there.

00:16:16.240 I've introduced legislation in the past to to tax these wire transfers that are going out of the country because you've got to get at their money.

00:16:29.940 And that is fueling the cartels. I mean, so so Alejandro Mayorkas, in my mind, is the low hanging fruit, because this isn't that this is done on his watch.

00:16:50.820 This is a man who is responsible for the death, the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

00:17:13.300 And fentanyl now is a widespread drug because it's being used as a cut for cocaine.

00:17:21.700 I mean, it's a it's a insane crisis that no one wants to argue with.

00:17:30.780 How many give me an idea of what percentage you're short in terms of votes or the actual number of votes you're short?

00:17:37.900 I would guess that if we had this on the floor today, I would fall short 40 to 60 votes.

00:17:51.860 Why don't we find out who those people are and why don't we find out how many kids, young adults, 18, by the way, 18 to 49?
