00:00:00.000 I'm Lou Dobbs with this Great America Midday Update. North Korea fires ballistic missiles.
00:00:05.920 Kim Jong-un, better known as Rocket Man, living up to the nickname President Trump gave him, 0.53
00:00:11.620 firing off missiles early this morning into the country's eastern sea.
00:00:16.620 The missile tests came just hours after the arrival of a U.S. ballistic missile submarine
00:00:21.500 in South Korea for the first time in 40 years. Russia is reportedly still searching for a
00:00:27.540 crashed North Korean nuke they believe landed in Russian waters last week.
00:00:32.540 The House Oversight Committee eyeing new witnesses in the family corruption investigation.
00:00:38.720 Chairman Comer says he now has the cooperation of a new witness.
00:00:42.280 That witness happens to be one of Hunter Biden's closest former business partners,
00:00:46.920 Devin Archer. Archer is set to appear before the committee next week for a transcribed interview.
00:00:53.460 And our guest today on The Great America Show is the chairman of the House Oversight Committee,
00:00:57.540 Congressman James Comer. His committee has a very important witness before him today.
00:01:03.020 His name is Geary Shapley, working for the IRS. He was responsible for investigating the Hunter Biden
00:01:09.120 financials. Here is what the chairman expects from today's hearing.
00:01:13.460 Well, I have two expectations. First of all, I hope that the American people can
00:01:18.100 learn whether or not the Bidens actually committed crimes. And secondly, we hope to learn whether or not
00:01:25.900 our federal government tried to obstruct this credible IRS investigation of criminal activity
00:01:31.920 by the Bidens. I think I know the answer to both questions. Today, Lou, we're going to have two of
00:01:36.260 the most credible witnesses we could possibly have. We have the IRS employees that are in charge of
00:01:44.020 international tax crimes that will be able to answer the question. So when you try to say, well,
00:01:50.140 who's going to determine whether or not the Bidens committed crimes? These are the two people that
00:01:54.160 you would go to in the IRS. So it should be a very substantive hearing.
00:01:58.480 And please join me for my full interview with the chairman of the House Oversight Committee,
00:02:03.840 Congressman James Comer. And join us each and every weekday for The Great America Show.
