The Great America Show - John Joins Professor Nick Giordano on The P.A.S Report

00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody. John Fawcett here. I recently sat down with a good friend of mine, Professor

00:00:08.160 Nicholas Giordano. He does a great podcast. It's called the PAS Report. He's a professor

00:00:13.060 of political science. He's been speaking out for years about the indoctrination of our

00:00:17.660 students and everything that's wrong with the political realm, taking over schools and

00:00:23.580 universities across this country. I recently, like I said, I recently sat down with him

00:00:27.640 to do his podcast, the PAS Report. We take up everything from tariffs to President Trump

00:00:32.680 bringing jobs back to America, to the indoctrination of our schools and how this country moves forward. 0.63

00:00:40.460 It was a great interview, which is why in just a moment, we're going to be rolling it for

00:00:45.200 you so you guys can take a listen to what he and I discussed for a little bit over a half

00:00:50.340 hour. I think it's a very important conversation, like I said, which is why I want you guys all

00:00:55.120 to take a listen and give us your feedback on what you think about the interview. Here it is.

00:01:03.160 I have a great guest coming on today. I have a friend, John Fawcett, host of The Great America

00:01:09.220 Show. I've known John for several years. He knows politics. He understands what's going on. John,

00:01:14.780 welcome to the program. How are you today?

00:01:16.660 Nick, thanks so much for having me. I appreciate it. I know politics as much as I want to. I wish I

00:01:21.800 didn't know as much. I'd probably be a lot happier, Nick, to be honest with you, if I was a gardener

00:01:26.080 somewhere relaxing. I tell my students that you got like 40 percent of the students that are

00:01:31.160 conservative or Republican, 40 percent that are Democrat or liberal or progressive, and then 20

00:01:36.140 percent that have no idea what's going on out there. But they're the happiest ones out of everyone.

00:01:40.700 That's the amazing part, because when you pay attention to politics, it will drive you nuts.

00:01:46.680 You'll end up like me with no hair. Now, Trump's been in office about a month and a half,

00:01:53.040 almost two months now. What are your thoughts so far on the lightning pace at which he's going at?

00:01:59.480 First of all, I got to address your 20 percent, because it's so true. You know, I still meet people 1.00

00:02:04.080 today who I'll meet a girl out at a bar somewhere. In full transparency, I'm single, so I'm allowed to

00:02:09.660 do that. So ladies, keep that in mind. So I'll go out to a bar and we'll talk about, do you like

00:02:15.100 Trump? That's always my first question, because then that dictates where you're going to go.

00:02:18.740 You hate Trump. The people don't like Trump, Nick. They hate him so much. So there's like no point

00:02:22.140 of wasting your time. And the amount of people you have are just like, I don't care. And I'm like,

00:02:26.180 how do you not care? It's weird. It's such a polarized society right now, polarized civilization

00:02:30.960 that it's insane. Now, to your point about President Trump moving at a lightning speed,

00:02:36.020 Nick, I couldn't have imagined he was going to move like this. Day one, we had ICE in Chicago,

00:02:42.220 in New York, raiding out these places. Tom Holman's been moving. Tom's been planning for

00:02:46.320 this job for the last four plus years on how he's going to navigate.

00:02:51.220 I think Tom has a war room in his basement, right? He's all over the place like for four years.

00:02:58.000 Yeah. So President Trump, now he's entering this tariff fight. And you know what? It's not good.

00:03:04.620 It's not good for us who have 401ks in stock markets. But the way I look at it and everyone I

00:03:09.140 speak to with a brain with a triple digit IQ, Nick, it's a long war. It's a long war that

00:03:13.720 was a long time in the coming. That had to be had. We have a ballooning debt, Nick,

00:03:19.300 that has not stopped. I mean, we're going to blow through $40 trillion here in just a few years.

00:03:25.260 At what point does it stop? What do you do to finally get this thing to stop? So he's moving

00:03:30.360 at lightning speeds on absolutely everything. All his nominees getting through. I would like to see

00:03:34.040 some people work a little harder. I'm not saying Pam Bondi, but you know, there are some people I

00:03:39.260 think who have to start doing a better job. And the way I look at this administration, Nick,

00:03:43.440 you either have to put out or get out because we don't have time. It's only four years to make

00:03:48.380 this country great again. And if you're not on board from day one, if everything you do isn't

00:03:52.420 America first, make America great again. You got to go. I'm sorry.

00:03:57.100 Well, it's interesting that you say that. I mean, first of all, I share the whole Pam Bondi thing. I mean,

00:04:01.700 when she was first announced, one of the things that worried me is that you need a pitbull as an

00:04:07.040 attorney general. You need someone that's going to go in there and show the bureaucracy who's boss.

00:04:12.480 Otherwise, the bureaucrats will eat you up and they'll spit you out. They'll work to undermine 0.89

00:04:16.640 you from day one. And I haven't seen the strength from her to really take on the bureaucracy in the 0.63

00:04:21.320 way it needs to be taken on. Luckily, over at the FBI, you have Kash Patel, Dan Bajino in there.

00:04:27.080 So that's a different story. But I want to talk about tariffs for a minute, because I

00:04:31.540 think that's an important story. I just released an episode talking about how long will Americans

00:04:38.600 stay with Trump, right? I mean, Americans are short term thinkers. And I'm not trying to insult

00:04:43.020 the American people. It's just the nature of the beast right now. And the second that Americans 0.99

00:04:47.240 start to feel a little bit of pain, are they going to bail on him and say, you know what,

00:04:51.140 it's too much. It's not worth it. Yeah. You know, I just saw polling out this morning from Mark

00:04:55.080 Mitchell and from Rasmussen. And Trump's numbers, Nick, this is like defies absolutely everything in

00:05:01.620 politics that President Trump has done, whether it be surviving the assassination attempts,

00:05:05.220 coming back to do essentially what's a third term after 2020. He's defied at all odds. His poll

00:05:11.900 numbers continue to go through the roof. Now, you had mentioned the lightning speed. As soon as he

00:05:16.080 started doing the deportations, I figure, you know, Americans are going to start to feel bad.

00:05:19.960 They're going to start feeling a little buyer's remorse. And his poll numbers are going to go

00:05:23.840 down. They've only went up as he's continued to do, as I use mass deportations, because it seems to

00:05:28.720 be the biggest thing the administration has done so far. I don't think they're going to give up on

00:05:33.920 Trump. And it's the reason being what I said before. It's a long war. And if President Trump

00:05:38.480 plays... Is it really a long war? You know, I was talking to a colleague today about the, you know,

00:05:43.920 1920s and the tariffs that war that took place then. But the world is dramatically different.

00:05:49.300 I mean, the United States is the dominant power. We've been losing power and influence for years

00:05:54.880 since 2005. There's no doubt about that. But let's be honest. In the 1920s, how many foreign 0.99

00:06:02.320 countries relied on the United States? Today, most of them do. And so can Canada really wait out the

00:06:09.560 United States or Mexico or any other country? Or do they kind of need the United States and they're

00:06:14.900 going to have to capitulate kind of soon? Absolutely. That's the truth of the matter,

00:06:19.220 isn't it? Our number one export is crude petroleum. So that's fine. If you don't want to buy

00:06:24.380 crude petroleum from us, and the next biggest export of ours is refined petroleum. So that's

00:06:29.560 the stuff you're putting in your cars, you're putting in your airplanes. So that's fine. You want

00:06:32.500 to play tough guy, you want to play gangster, that's fine. And you know what a lot of people,

00:06:36.540 and this is what I wish the Trump administration would start to let out to the American people,

00:06:40.540 and explain it a little bit better, because I think it'll tune the American people's minds a

00:06:45.200 little bit differently. This is a war because of what they've done to us. Now, the only reason

00:06:50.220 Donald Trump gets a bad rap for it is because he does it out on the public stage. I attribute it to

00:06:54.620 like silent torture from Canada and from these other countries. They tariff us on all these goods

00:06:58.860 that we bring in, that we bring into this country. It's only right, Nick, nothing in life is absolutely 0.54

00:07:03.780 free. So to answer your question, yes, they have no choice. I read this morning, Australia and the

00:07:09.200 United Kingdom will not do anything in retaliation to President Trump's retaliatory tariffs. And it's

00:07:13.740 a smart thing to do. It's reciprocal tariffs. Now on Canada and Mexico, it's a little bit different

00:07:18.120 because of the immigration problem we have, because of the drug problem we have. That's a fight that 0.59

00:07:23.160 needs to be had, that needs to be had. 100,000 people is far too many. And 100,000, by the way,

00:07:28.040 is a complete understatement, because that 100,000 only accounts for people who are autopsied,

00:07:32.700 who we know what they died from. Now you figure a family member who has someone died,

00:07:36.380 who they know he overdosed or she overdosed. They don't do an autopsy because they've already

00:07:40.520 dealt with enough pain in their lives. So we don't know how they died. They just went down

00:07:44.000 or whatever natural call. I don't know what they put it down as, but it's probably two or three

00:07:47.620 times the number. It's the same thing with the illegal immigration number. So it's a fight that

00:07:51.080 needs to be had. Canada wants to play tough guy. Mexico wants to play tough guy. It's going to be 0.82

00:07:55.220 very short lived. As for those countries, I think I give it probably a month max. You look at what

00:07:59.860 Ford did with the electric, the electric tariff. President Trump came back and said,

00:08:03.500 that's fine. 50% tariff on all steel. You want to play good ball? And then within two hours,

00:08:08.780 he called buff. One more thing I want to hit on. We haven't run a Trade Plus, Nick, in this country

00:08:12.820 since 1975. What does that mean? That means every single year, exports exceed imports. So vice versa.

00:08:21.880 So in other words, we cannot make our own things here. We rely on everyone else to bring in,

00:08:27.460 to bring in. That needs to change, whether it be automobile parts. There's some things I understand

00:08:32.540 we have to offshore. Textiles, I understand, will never come back to America. That's fine.

00:08:37.100 But let's look at a place in South America where we can start making textiles instead of going to

00:08:40.940 Thailand and Taiwan and China. First of all, shipping routes will be far easier to get to

00:08:45.780 from South America and from Mexico than it is right now from China. And we'll be doing a good deed

00:08:50.780 because I believe if we can help Mexico build up their country, if we can help Panama build up their 0.92

00:08:55.220 country, and all these countries down south, El Salvador, if we can help them build up their own

00:08:59.640 countries, Nick, they're going to want to stay there with their families. They're going to want

00:09:02.900 to stay home with their families and make money in their own country. The truth of the matter is

00:09:06.200 these Mexican folks and all these people come here, they don't want to come to America. They 1.00

00:09:09.200 come because they need to, because they need jobs. Yeah. And I think you just, you brought up

00:09:14.340 something important and you, you've been in the media a long time. So you understand the importance

00:09:19.000 of messaging and narratives. Do you think that Trump administration is missing out on an

00:09:24.320 opportunity, not explaining how, why is it fair all these countries get to tariff American products,

00:09:30.860 but yet we're not allowed to introduce tariffs on their products? Yeah, that's exactly what it is.

00:09:35.540 And as I said, I think the messaging is off. If he came out and whether he or Howard Lutnick,

00:09:41.280 I don't think it should be Elon Musk. He's dealing with his own problems right now. And I love the man

00:09:44.600 to death. But if one of these guys came out and explained and broke down on a chart, something very

00:09:50.100 simple. This is what X charges us. This is what Y charges us. This is what we're charging them.

00:09:54.820 The American people know nothing in life is free. Okay. If you could explain it to the faction of

00:09:59.640 that, I think they'll understand a lot better because they're pretty on board right now. I spoke

00:10:03.540 to a good friend this morning who was a lifelong Democrat, who's now a Republican. And he says,

00:10:07.440 you know what, if this is going to bring inflation down, if this is going to bring the prices of

00:10:10.680 housing down and all that stuff, let it be done. Let it be done. And you know what,

00:10:15.940 Wall Street, I hate to see it, but you know what, they ruined America, Wall Street. So now it's

00:10:20.660 their time to take a hit. It's time for Main Street America to start making some money. And

00:10:24.940 that's those factory workers out in Dearborn, Michigan, those factory workers out in Ohio.

00:10:29.480 It's time for the American human being, that blue collar worker to bring home a livable salary to live 1.00

00:10:35.320 on. And you know what, Wall Street can wait a little while. Well, let's look at Wall Street. So you do

00:10:40.940 have Elon Musk living the, you know, the Doge, leading the Doge effort to find the waste,

00:10:46.980 fraud, and abuse within government. We know approximately 3,500 government contracts have

00:10:52.940 already been canceled out. We know that there's many more that will be canceled out. And this is

00:10:57.820 something that I applaud. I've been calling for the downsizing of government for a long time. I've

00:11:02.740 been calling out the way, I was Doge before there was a Doge in my classroom. And I've been calling

00:11:08.260 out the waste, fraud, and abuse. But when we look at Wall Street, the number of companies that just

00:11:13.780 live off the government largesse, right? They just live and move off the federal system. Isn't that

00:11:20.100 going to hurt corporate earnings to a certain degree? It absolutely is. And you know what,

00:11:23.740 Nick, that's something that nobody's talking about. I spoke about it the other day on my show,

00:11:27.680 and you're the only other person I've heard mention it. When you're taking, Nick, when you're

00:11:31.160 cutting a trillion dollars out of the GDP, out of the budget, of course it's going to take it. So is the

00:11:36.240 market collapsing a little bit? Is it in correction territory? Yes, of course it is. But it's not just

00:11:40.240 because of the terror fight. It's because the government, for the first time in our lifetime,

00:11:44.500 we're seeing them try to cut a deficit. So when you're taking a trillion dollars out of the deficit,

00:11:49.740 of course it's going to hurt the country. Of course it's going to hurt. But you know what, in the long

00:11:53.060 run, we'll be okay. We'll start paying down this debt. That's why when they came out and said $5,000

00:11:57.600 checks for Doge, I thought it was extremely dumb and irresponsible. We have a debt to pay. 0.97

00:12:01.800 Agreed.

00:12:02.120 But $5,000, if you put it in the pocket of the average American, now granted,

00:12:06.240 some Americans are going to take that and pay off their credit card debt because credit card debt

00:12:09.460 is through the roof right now in America, especially among the elderly, which is a very

00:12:13.240 big problem. Property tax among the elderly, it's terrible. If you take that money and you put it

00:12:18.800 back into the economy, you drive this thing up. Giving $5,000 checks to people, I'm sorry, folks,

00:12:23.320 for you people who are very angry and tuning out right now, it's not the best course forward in the long

00:12:27.620 run. Well, and we have recent evidence, right? You know, those stimulus checks during the coronavirus

00:12:32.280 felt good as they were coming in, but the American people paid back the stimulus four times over

00:12:37.280 because of the inflation it caused. So I'm with you. I'd much rather the $5,000 checks just go to pay

00:12:43.200 down our national debt as opposed to just give out money. To me, that doesn't make sense. When we look

00:12:48.700 at this effort, though, I mean, the Democrats seem to have lost their mind. Yes. And Chuck Schumer,

00:12:54.020 our great senator from New York, the moron that he is, he came out a couple of weeks ago stating, 1.00

00:13:00.040 of course, there's waste in government. Everyone knows there was waste in government, 1.00

00:13:04.240 but you don't tackle it with a sledgehammer. You got to use a scalpel. And I'm sitting there like,

00:13:09.420 you've been there for 30 years and you haven't lifted a finger to do a damn thing about it. 0.94

00:13:14.160 The Democrats, one thing they're good at is actually demonizing other people. 0.72

00:13:18.480 So you see the demonization of Elon Musk going on. And as a result, we're seeing terrorism because

00:13:26.260 it's a clear cut definition of terrorism. They're targeting Tesla stations, Tesla electrical,

00:13:31.800 the chargers. And we're seeing attacks, gunshots, Molotov cocktails. What are your thoughts on these

00:13:37.860 lunatics that are running around attacking Tesla dealerships, but not just dealerships.

00:13:43.440 They're also attacking individuals that drive Teslas. Unless those individuals like put on a

00:13:49.840 bumper sticker, I don't like Elon Musk. Yep. I actually want to read you a text right now that

00:13:55.140 I got from a friend this morning about a guy who owns a Cybertruck. Neil's friend owns a Cybertruck.

00:13:59.760 He's selling it because people harassing him. Dog crap on his car, throwing stuff at it, 0.58

00:14:04.160 trying to destroy his car. Now this is in Staten Island, New York, which is the most conservative 0.99

00:14:08.180 place in New York City. And these people are doing this. They're not rational people, Nick.

00:14:12.480 These people are, a lot of them are paid agitators from Antifa and BLM and all these

00:14:17.920 factions, probably a little less from BLM now, more so Antifa. They're paid by the likes of George

00:14:22.540 Soros. We know that from times in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case now. 1.00

00:14:28.320 We've hit a new low in society. People, the mental health, a buddy of mine looks at Google

00:14:33.660 Trends all the time. And if you look at the Google Trends on people on anti-anxiety,

00:14:37.820 anti-depression medications, it's through the roof. And it's hard to believe because we put up

00:14:43.100 with Joe Biden for four and a half years. And I came on this show every single day in the great

00:14:46.880 Lou Dobbs. We came on the show every day and we hit the man and we dealt with it in the public domain

00:14:50.820 and we dealt with it responsibly. None of us were going out, burning down cars, going to Delaware,

00:14:56.780 destroying his stuff, doing things like that. Hunter Biden, nobody went after him.

00:15:01.240 Attacking visiting angels because essentially that's what the White House was.

00:15:04.540 Right, right. So the Democrats have a way about going things. And this is only two months in now.

00:15:10.660 The only problem this time is you had mentioned New York. Mayor Eric Adams, at least for the

00:15:14.660 foreseeable future, is on Team Trump. So I don't think we're going to put up with this stuff in

00:15:18.580 New York. And the other day we saw it, arresting people in New York for destroying his dealership

00:15:22.900 and defacing his dealership. It's totally pathetic. These people are total losers. And most of them are 0.99

00:15:27.220 young kids who are ruining their lives. I came out on the show the other day and I said, 1.00

00:15:31.960 congratulations, you got your video, you got your arrest, send it to your parents because

00:15:35.420 they failed as parents. You guys are losers. That's not how you deal. And the sad thing, 1.00

00:15:39.900 isn't it? And they're not bright because they'll put their faces right on camera and post it.

00:15:44.220 Right. Well, some of them are the cowards. They wear the face masks, right? But a lot of these kids go 1.00

00:15:49.360 to Ivy League schools. And I often joke, some of the dumbest people I've ever met, some of the 0.99

00:15:53.560 dumbest people I know went to Ivy League schools. I don't think schooling dictates, by the way, 0.99

00:15:57.020 who you are. I know a lot of smart people who didn't go to college. I know a lot of smart people

00:16:01.040 who went to community colleges, smarter than people that went to these Ivy League schools.

00:16:04.500 So I don't think because you do well in standardized testing, that dictates who you are. We have

00:16:09.100 Barack Obama, an Ivy League graduate, who was perhaps one of the dumbest presidents we've ever 0.96

00:16:12.800 had in this country, a Hunter Biden, another Ivy League graduate. Now, there are some who make it 0.95

00:16:17.720 out alive. The great Lou Dobbs went to Harvard. And to this day, the smartest man I've ever met.

00:16:22.480 I want to go back to USAID because Marco Rubio said they're cutting about 83% of what they found

00:16:27.460 in fraud. And you have to imagine, why are these people going so crazy? What bone did they pick?

00:16:33.540 What bone did they strike in these people's heart? And I think they're getting a little terrified

00:16:37.880 because he's going to start going through the IRS because these people have made money. It's ill-gotten

00:16:43.120 gains. They've made money from places they were not supposed to make money from. Now, I'm not going

00:16:46.540 to make any accusations, but I think time will tell where a lot of these people were making their money

00:17:55.200 I've spoken for the last several years about the corruption, the absolute corruption within our

00:18:01.140 government where you have all this money, trillions of taxpayer dollars that are going out to fund

00:18:07.120 quote-unquote non-profits. But they're not really non-profits. They're far-left activist organizations

00:18:13.980 that are set up to push a far-left messaging, far-left agenda. And they also work with

00:18:20.720 subgroups, sub-agencies. So they'll get the government grant. They'll then pay themselves

00:18:26.760 and then give the rest of the grant money to other agencies to perform any duties. It's a whole scam

00:18:33.180 to fund the left-wing ecosystem. And it certainly needs to be investigated.

00:18:38.000 Do you foresee a lot of criminality within the government? Not just under a Democrat

00:18:45.080 administration. This has been going on for the last couple of decades. Like since when have

00:18:49.440 non-profits not done anything? Yeah, you're absolutely right. And I say this all the time.

00:18:54.700 I don't care if it's Republicans or Democrats. I'm not sitting here and I'm not going to be a

00:18:58.640 sycophant for Republicans because there's Republicans out there who are just as corrupt, 0.98

00:19:02.220 if not more corrupt, than the Democrats. Lindsey Graham, for one. Total Warhawk monger. John 0.95

00:19:07.220 Bolton, another one who calls himself a Republican. George Bush. You've had these people who have

00:19:11.200 gotten us into endless wars, probably getting money on the backside of things, and they've paid no

00:19:15.880 prices. Now, you'd mention these non-for-profits. I think we're going to see a massive, massive

00:19:21.020 investigation into, I'll name two of the biggest ones, the Catholic Charities of America and the Red

00:19:26.100 Cross. Both of them have had stations on the border for the last eight plus years helping

00:19:31.100 illegals. If you go right now to the Catholic Charities of New York website, it tells you on

00:19:37.200 there if you're an illegal alien, how they can help you, how they can get you lawyers, how they can get

00:19:42.540 you out of trouble if you're being sought out by ICE and all these other people. That's criminal

00:19:46.780 behavior. You're harboring illegals in this country who are here illegal. In some cases, you're harboring

00:19:52.380 domestic terrorists. It's a word you heard from the Democrats a lot, domestic terrorists, also known

00:19:56.700 as school board parents. So these non-for-profits. And traditional Catholics. Right, and traditional 0.77

00:20:01.200 Catholics. So these non-for-profits, these NGOs, have for years, and this is not something new,

00:20:07.220 years, been involved, been entrenched in absolute crazy, crazy stuff. I want to bring up something

00:20:13.120 because I interviewed him the other day, and I think you should definitely, I'm on your show.

00:20:16.520 Mike McCormick, he's got this new book out. I don't know if you can see it on there.

00:20:19.380 An insurmountable evil. And I just finished reading it. And he goes into how the Biden

00:20:24.460 administration, how the Catholic charities, how the Catholic Church and the Pope along the way

00:20:29.880 have helped harbor illegals, helped cover up the China virus, helped attribute to the China virus.

00:20:37.020 These are criminal acts by criminal organizations as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if it's the

00:20:41.560 Catholic Church or not. If you're a criminal, you're a criminal. I don't care if it's the same 1.00

00:20:46.460 thing with the Epstein list, Nick. I don't mean to go off on a tangent. Well, there may be Republicans

00:20:50.380 on there. If Donald Trump's on there, I want to know. I don't care. I'm not sitting here trying

00:20:54.320 to cover up for pedophiles. The worst predators in this world, in my opinion, with the exception of 0.98

00:20:59.760 terrorists, are pedophiles. You're talking about a thing called integrity. It doesn't matter if it's 0.97

00:21:05.580 Republican. We want to expose the corruption. I want to know if any of these non-profits,

00:21:11.280 if any family members to members of Congress sit on the boards of these non-profits and are getting

00:21:15.840 drawing salaries from these non-profits like Sheldon Whitehouse's spouse is doing, 2.5 million

00:21:21.820 taxpayer dollars, by the way. But I don't care if it's a Democrat or Republican. If we find money

00:21:26.800 being funneled to a non-profit and any of those subcontractors, if there's any family members

00:21:33.580 there as well, we need to know about it. It needs to be exposed. The Epstein list needs to be 0.63

00:21:38.280 exposed. The JFK files expose it all. That's the only way you fix this mess is transparency.

00:21:45.780 Yet it seems like a lot of people, they don't want to see the ugliness that exists.

00:21:51.900 You know, the funny thing is, Nick, is this is all going to be uncovered by like 0.99

00:21:54.900 five 21-year-old kids who are sitting in a doge office with a damn regular lap. 0.99

00:22:00.220 Right. You know the crazy, it's so insane to think we've had thousands. The federal government 0.99

00:22:05.500 obviously is the largest employer of people in this country. And to think that there's going to

00:22:09.480 be a day coming very soon where the federal government will no longer be the largest employer

00:22:13.640 of people in this country, it just makes my heart feel so good because this company is built by private

00:22:18.520 sector employees, whether it be Amazon.com or I think Walmart's the number two largest employer in

00:22:25.020 the world. But to think that we're going to see a day now where the federal government won't be the

00:22:29.040 largest employer. It's so insane to me to see that Elon's got a team of, I think, 20 people who are

00:22:34.260 working for him. And with simple computer algorithms, they're going to be able to see

00:22:38.080 who got money, where the money came from. We don't need thousands of people to do this. We don't need

00:22:42.260 millions of dollars to do this. These people are working on a government salary, not making more

00:22:46.360 than $400,000 a year, which is probably three and a half times what they're probably making. I assume

00:22:52.740 some of them are probably making $70,000 to $80,000 a year. And these guys with simple computer

00:22:57.360 algorithms, Nick, these 21-year-old geniuses who probably didn't go to Harvard's and UPenn's,

00:23:02.160 these programmers, are going to figure out the fraud and waste and abuse inside this government,

00:23:07.280 whether it be in the IRS or through these NGOs or USAID. And these people are running for the

00:23:12.680 hills. You see at record numbers, Nick, Democrats not running for re-election. Today we saw, or last

00:23:18.540 week we saw the senator from New Hampshire deciding not to run again for office. We're going to see a lot

00:23:23.460 more of that over the next two years. And to me, it's not by coincidence. These people have been

00:23:27.220 there for far too long to not hold that job until the day they die. Yeah. And let's be honest. I mean,

00:23:33.140 this is a problem that was created by Democrats, Republicans, and the American people for not

00:23:37.920 actually holding government officials accountable, allowing the federal government to get this large

00:23:42.380 calling for federal involvement in like every single issue that exists out there. That's been

00:23:47.760 a big criticism of mine. And when you look at the Democrats and Republicans that are in office,

00:23:53.780 I mean, let's be honest here. If Musk isn't successful, you're never going to see a cut

00:24:00.420 in government. You're never going to see them tackle waste, fraud, and abuse. Do you think

00:24:03.780 this is like our only opportunity to make it happen? Yeah. These next four years is an absolute

00:24:08.420 crucial pivotal point for America. If Donald Trump didn't win this election, it was over. And there's

00:24:12.780 nothing hyperbolic about that. They would have flooded this country with millions of more illegal aliens. 0.94

00:24:17.740 They would allow them to vote and a Republican would never win in this country again. That's exactly

00:24:22.400 what they want to do. This is our last chance. Absolutely. Because if a Democrat gets in again

00:24:27.500 right after Donald Trump, whether it be J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio, or now they're saying maybe

00:24:33.020 Donald Trump. Elon Musk has, I don't even think it's four years. He's probably got two years

00:24:37.320 to really get this thing going. And he's moving at record pace. Look at what he's found out now

00:24:41.340 in under two months. Imagine what we're going to know in two years.

00:24:45.700 Oh, I could only imagine. Again, this is something I go all the way back to when Senator Tom

00:24:50.640 Colburn, God rest his soul, would go on the Senate floor and just read the ridiculous spending items.

00:24:57.000 And that's when the money was actually appropriated by Congress. It wasn't the discretionary spending.

00:25:02.400 But as the government goes, you know, now we're seeing the Department of Education begin to wind

00:25:06.820 down its operations. Secretary McMahon laid off half the workers from the Department of Education.

00:25:11.660 You have all these Democrats screaming. Why aren't they outraged by the abysmal student

00:25:17.600 proficiency numbers? The failing of students to be able to read, write and do math. They're not mad

00:25:23.640 at that. They're outraged that a federal apparatus that has gotten itself deeply entrenched in academia

00:25:31.180 is now being shut down because it's not performing. It's not achieving the mission that it was set out

00:25:37.340 to do. In fact, it's failing and it's only gotten worse. And yet that's what they're mad about.

00:25:41.720 Do you think Democrats are having a very difficult time on messaging to pick and choose what to fight

00:25:48.620 back, what to push back against, and then when to just keep quiet or say, yeah, we got to get rid of

00:25:53.880 fraud and abuse? Yeah. One of the main issues is the CR, the continuing resolution. The Democrats in

00:25:59.780 the Senate know this is the first time I've seen that I can remember that the Republicans won a budget

00:26:04.640 battle, that the Democrats are going to support this thing and keep the government going because they

00:26:08.660 know they're up for reelection. They're absolutely losing. You don't want to have the Schumer shutdown

00:26:12.680 if you're a Democrat. Exactly. Exactly. The Republicans find a way to own it every single time

00:26:17.300 like total idiots. It's not because the Democrats are smarter. It's because the Republicans are totally 1.00

00:26:21.980 feckless. To the education issue, who would be against returning the power to the states? It'll be a 0.71

00:26:27.900 more, I don't want to say privatized, but it'll be a more personalized experience to tailor the needs

00:26:32.360 to the states. And you know what? If you want to send your kids to school in New York,

00:26:35.720 where they're going to be indoctrinated and continue to have the lowest scores, that's fine.

00:26:39.680 Maybe you'll pack up and you'll move down to Florida or you'll move to Alabama or you'll move

00:26:43.260 out to Pennsylvania when they get a Republican governor. Buddy, I'm stuck here. Let's take it

00:26:46.940 easy with that. No, but that's just the truth of the matter. And I mean, you, I think, do a terrific

00:26:52.180 job. And to me, as long as I know you, you don't sound like you care about ever losing your job

00:26:57.140 because you're doing such a good job. Not that you can lose your job, but you don't care because

00:27:01.240 you're doing the right thing for the American people. And it's like these teachers have no conscience.

00:27:04.980 They don't care anymore. Our kids are increasingly getting dumber and dumber. And, you know, that's 1.00

00:27:10.680 not a slide in America. It kills me inside to know that, that that's the path that we're going down.

00:27:15.380 I was talking to an economist the other day. They don't teach kids economy. I didn't learn

00:27:19.120 economics, Nick, until I went to college. Now, if I didn't go to college, when would I've ever learned

00:27:23.120 about economics? It's ridiculous. We're teaching kids earth science, things that presumably nobody's 0.96

00:27:29.680 ever going to use in their life. I hear every day about the products you all wish MyPillow

00:27:35.480 carried. Well, guess what? We probably do. Slippers, bathrobes, pet beds, blankets, mattresses,

00:27:42.340 sleepwear, loungewear, duvets, comforters, potholders, aprons, oven mitts, and so much more.

00:27:49.260 And they're all on sale. For example, get our best-selling standard MyPillows for only $14.98.

00:27:56.620 BodyPillows, $29.98. Six-piece bath towels or kitchen towel sets, just $29.98. Multi-use MyPillow 2.0s

00:28:06.380 with pillowcase, $9.98. Save $40 on our Spring Percale and Giza Dream bedsheet sets. Any size,

00:28:13.960 any color, and so much more. So go to MyPillow.com or call the number on your screen.

00:28:19.620 Use your promo code to save up to 80% on all MyPillow products. And I've never done this before.

00:28:26.220 When you spend $100 or more, you're going to get two standard MyPillows absolutely free.

00:28:35.140 So I look at it from this perspective. I don't look at it to teachers. The teachers,

00:28:39.680 some of them are a problem. I would say probably about 25 to 30% of them are dumb. They don't know 1.00

00:28:45.800 the subject material. They should not be in the classroom. But you have about 70% of the teachers

00:28:50.240 that are dedicated. However, their hands are tied. They got the Teachers Union, which is a corrupt

00:28:55.960 organization that has done more damage to the education. Randy Weingarten, right, has done more

00:29:01.240 damage to our education system than anyone else. But then a lot of people don't look at the state

00:29:07.060 education boards, the ones that actually draw up the curriculums. I teach at college. So I'm

00:29:12.660 lucky where I have a lot of flexibility in what I teach and how I teach it. It's up to me.

00:29:17.500 But when you look at a K through 12 system, you see that they have to teach this ridiculous nonsense.

00:29:23.460 But even worse than that, they've been told that if a student disrespects you, if a student spits on 0.98

00:29:29.720 you, if a student frigging hit you, there's no consequences for that student. That you have parents

00:29:35.020 where the kids have been absent for like two months from school, yet the teacher has no recourse and

00:29:40.000 can't fail that student. I was listening to the radio the other day and I was hearing a story about

00:29:44.700 how a girl who graduated with honors from a Connecticut high school is now suing her high

00:29:51.020 school because she's illiterate. She can't do the college work. She's completely illiterate, 1.00

00:29:54.800 can't really read or write. And so it's the entire system, the education system itself that has been

00:30:01.100 corrupted that needs to be abolished and rebuilt from the bottom up. The way you mentioned writing,

00:30:06.080 I didn't learn to write. I mean, I knew how to write, but I didn't learn to write until I got

00:30:09.200 out of college, until I started working in media. Lou Dobbs, the first thing I wrote for him, he

00:30:13.420 gave you your grammatical lessons. Oh man, he absolutely annihilated me and abused me. And I

00:30:19.060 was upset at the time. But if it wasn't for the great Lou Dobbs, I wouldn't have known how to write

00:30:23.460 a damn script. I wouldn't have known how to write a story. And he taught every single person who worked for 0.98

00:30:27.860 him. It's things you don't learn in college. And going back to my comments about saying earth

00:30:31.600 science, what I think we need to do, Nick, is we need to start tailoring things down and make it

00:30:35.980 more personalized. I had to take language and foreign language in high school and throughout my

00:30:42.240 graduate studies. I will never use it. I speak English. I can go to 99 places, 99% of the world

00:30:48.680 and they understand English. I have no interest. And that's just me personally in learning French

00:30:52.900 or Chinese. Chemistry. I had to take chemistry. I knew early on, I was never going into a field

00:30:59.380 of chemistry. I did not need to learn the periodic table or things like that. I think what we need to

00:31:04.500 do is we need to start tailoring educations. And by getting rid of the Department of Education

00:31:09.040 ostensibly and returning power to the states, I think it allowed these states to start creating

00:31:13.720 programs with inside of high schools where you know somewhat when you're in high school what you

00:31:18.380 want to do. There's kids I went to high school with in a private school who knew they didn't want

00:31:21.580 to go to college. So let's create programs where these kids can go learn HVAC. Let's learn programs

00:31:26.520 because these blue-collar jobs are always going to be around. AI is not going to replace a heating and

00:31:31.920 air conditioning tech, a plumber, an electrician, a car mechanic, which are in high demand right now.

00:31:37.180 You know, you have these kids who we make them take French, we make them take Russian, we make them 0.51

00:31:40.960 take Spanish and earth science and chemistry, knowing they're damn well never going to use it again in

00:31:45.460 their life. Let's start tailoring these programs to help these kids be better off when they graduate

00:31:52.340 high school. Because a lot of kids are worse off when they're graduating high school now than when

00:31:56.380 they get into high school, which is hard to believe as an eighth grader. And require them to take courses

00:32:00.920 that teaches them life skills. Like every student should have to take a course in savings, investing,

00:32:05.720 and compound interest. Every school should have to take home economics and learn how to cook a damn 1.00

00:32:10.080 meal or take a shop class. These should all be required courses because they're life skills 0.97

00:32:15.120 that you could always use whether you go into the field or not. So I completely agree.

00:32:20.500 What do you see happening over the course of the next two years within the United States? What do you

00:32:27.340 think the Trump administration, because for the first time, I'm actually seeing unity from the

00:32:32.120 Republican Party, which is absolutely shocking. How long do you think that lasts? And what do you see

00:32:37.700 taking place? I think in the next few months, it's probably going to be a little rough just based on

00:32:41.400 the people I talk to economics wise, the stock markets. And as I said earlier, this is a time

00:32:47.520 for Main Street to shine. The small businesses, inflation to be cut down, the prices of lettuce,

00:32:52.660 the prices of eggs to start coming down, gas for your vehicles to start going down. And let

00:32:57.100 Wall Street, they've had their times to shine. These people have made lots and lots of money on the

00:33:03.040 backs of the American people. It's time for the American small blue collar worker. And I'll keep 1.00

00:33:07.380 saying it to shine. It's time for these people to start making the money they deserve to make

00:33:11.740 because they built this country. And they're the reason this country sustains. So you know what,

00:33:16.720 for the next, I don't know the time period, whether it be six months a year. So what if you can't buy a

00:33:21.120 new car, just hang it out. Let's not cave into this nonsense, you know, importing car parts from

00:33:27.040 Canada, which are like among the highest things from Mexico. Let's hold off on that. If they want to 1.00

00:33:32.420 inflate things and they want to raise the prices on tariffs, that's fine. Let's not buy a new

00:33:36.420 computer for six months or a year. Let's not buy a new car for six months or a year. Let's make

00:33:41.220 these people feel the pain that the American people have been feeling for the last four and a half

00:33:45.100 years. Okay. So I think that's, that's the first step we need to just ignore the fear mongering

00:33:50.220 people didn't work out with COVID so well with the fear mongering, but don't fall into that trap again.

00:33:55.720 If you have a 401k, if you have stock portfolios, don't panic, don't sell. If you could,

00:34:00.080 if you could afford to hold out and not sell and you have high dividend stocks, hold out.

00:34:05.660 Just, you know, it's not going to be easy. Like I said, it'll probably be a rough next few months,

00:34:11.000 but in the long run, it'll work out. And by long run, I mean, you know, after six months to a year,

00:34:15.760 um, that's number one, number two. Do you think that timeframe, just to interrupt you a second,

00:34:20.240 do you think that timeframe, uh, I think your timeframe is spot on because we know the midterms

00:34:25.420 are going to be coming up. And do you think the Republicans would hold if things still don't

00:34:30.580 improve it by that point? If the messaging is correct. So the, the, what, everything I've

00:34:34.580 been told by key indicators and stuff, if there is going to be a recession, it'll be around June,

00:34:40.000 July ish. Now the thing, the June, July ish, uh, maybe August, the thing about recessions is by the

00:34:45.460 time, you know, you're in one, you're already on your way out. So if it does hit around June,

00:34:49.740 July, August, we'll be on our way out towards, uh, you know, economic freedom and economic prosperity.

00:34:54.460 Yeah. I think they hold on one way or another because of whether it be the economy immigration,

00:34:58.840 I think if the messaging is right out of the white house, they can play this thing off very,

00:35:04.020 very well. If they get a budget through, if they start, uh, some spending cuts, if they start

00:35:07.640 identifying and putting out in the public domain, everything that's gone on in this country for the

00:35:11.120 last four and a half years, the American people, I think we'll start to understand as they have been.

00:35:15.780 I mean, like I said, you look at these poll numbers now with Donald Trump and his job approval

00:35:19.180 and everything like that. Um, I think they'll hold on. So like I say, I give it six months,

00:35:24.520 maybe, uh, six months and we'll be on our way out of this. Now I could be completely wrong and I hope

00:35:29.040 I am. And I hope this is just a moment, a momentary one month, two month thing. And we get this thing

00:35:34.240 sorted out, which is what I think it's going to take Canada and Mexico to wake up and realize that

00:35:39.080 they need us more than we need them. But, um, after that, I think it's, it's green, uh, green grass and

00:35:44.960 clear skies ahead for the Trump administration and for America. So hold on tight folks. It's going to be

00:35:50.240 bumpy before it gets smooth, but, uh, the smooth ride, I think it's going to be a lot longer

00:35:54.260 than the bumpy road ahead. Well, I'm looking forward to it. Cause there's going to be plenty

00:35:58.440 for us to talk about, and I can't wait to have you back on. Everyone needs to check out the great

00:36:38.520 thing, who are speaking out against what the left has done to our schooling system, to our education

00:36:43.660 system. He's one of them. Uh, so I, like I said, I encourage you guys all to follow his podcast
