00:01:15.040 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs.

00:01:24.300 Welcome to The Great America Show and thanks for being with us.

00:01:27.880 As the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament concluded over the weekend,

00:01:31.820 the U.S. Tennis Association decided not to play the National Anthem.

00:01:36.980 Neither the men's nor women's finals featured our National Anthem.

00:01:41.000 Truly a national disgrace that the finals played in New York a day before the anniversary of September 11th,

00:01:49.660 the National Anthem would not be played.

00:01:52.140 The House of Representatives back in session this week.

00:01:56.020 Two of the biggest items on their list are funding the government and impeaching President Biden.

00:02:01.920 The government will shut down at midnight on the 30th of this month if Congress fails to pass a budget or continuing resolution,

00:02:09.920 which is a temporary budget.

00:02:11.540 Some conservatives in the House have told Speaker McCarthy that they will refuse to support a continuing resolution

00:02:18.840 and will shut down the government until McCarthy starts acting like a Republican.

00:02:25.220 One of those members is Congressman Chip Roy of Texas.

00:02:29.120 He's had a belly full, he says, and he will reject any spending bill that doesn't address the border and its security

00:02:36.260 and says Republicans have an obligation to do their jobs.

00:02:40.840 Remember last December, unfortunately, 17 Senate Republicans joined with the Pelosi Democrats

00:02:46.620 to take away the power of the purse until this September.

00:02:50.060 And then unfortunately with the debt deal that was cut on Memorial Day weekend, I voted against it.

00:02:54.820 We fought it.

00:02:55.420 We actually shut the House down for a week in response trying to send a signal.

00:02:59.020 We're not going to tolerate that again.

00:03:00.520 I can promise you there is a large block of us.

00:03:03.320 You are going to address the border or you're going to have a massive fight on your hands in the House of Representatives.

00:03:09.680 We are not going to tolerate this anymore.

00:03:12.060 It's time for us to do our job.

00:03:13.680 We can't continue this.

00:03:15.760 This is an actual damage being done to the American people, our own constituents getting harmed.

00:03:21.740 We can't allow that to continue.

00:03:23.660 House Republicans have an obligation to step up and do their job.

00:03:27.460 And Congressman Byron Donalds, a member of the House Freedom Caucus,

00:03:31.260 says a continuing resolution is a continuation of the radical policies of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi.

00:03:39.160 He says it needs to stop and it needs to stop now.

00:03:42.820 There is not Republican support in the House for a clean,

00:03:45.920 continuing resolution that continues all of the crazy policies of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi,

00:03:52.220 for that matter.

00:03:52.900 We're not going to do it.

00:03:54.280 Look at what's going on in New York, down on the southern border, in Chicago.

00:03:58.120 Families are sick of what's happening at our border and it's spilling all over the country.

00:04:03.260 Senate Republicans need to step up and do the right thing.

00:04:05.860 It is time to fight to secure our southern border.

00:04:08.260 That starts with this appropriations battle that we are on the precipice of.

00:04:12.500 So if they try to tell us we have a clean CR,

00:04:14.960 I'm telling Mitch and the boys in the Senate the answer is flat out no.

00:04:18.220 The other major issue facing the Republican Party, the impeachment inquiry of President Biden,

00:04:24.080 and some RINOs don't take seriously their responsibility to hold the Biden regime accountable

00:04:29.200 for rampant corruption and acting against the national interest.

00:04:33.660 Congresswoman Nancy Mace says she wants more evidence before an impeachment inquiry.

00:04:39.240 Here she is.

00:04:40.500 Well, we'll know a little bit more information this week.

00:04:42.500 We go into session on Tuesday.

00:04:44.100 Okay, bribery is one of the bases for an impeachment inquiry or articles of impeachment

00:04:49.820 in Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution.

00:04:52.840 But the problem, Dagan, as you know, is we will never get 60 votes in a Democrat-controlled Senate

00:04:58.340 no matter how much evidence we prevent.

00:05:00.560 And so from my perspective, the House oversight, judiciary, ways and means need to continue our investigations.

00:05:07.340 We need to show the American people all of the evidence that we uncover.

00:05:10.720 We need to do it in swift order.

00:05:12.780 We need more subpoenas.

00:05:14.120 I want the bookkeeper.

00:05:15.260 I want Shokin.

00:05:16.100 I want Hunter.

00:05:16.940 I want everybody who is a witness and saw what we saw in the suspicious activity reports.

00:05:21.860 That information we have to win in the court of public opinion

00:05:24.780 so people can decide whether or not this guy who sold out his country

00:05:28.260 for millions and millions of dollars should be president.

00:05:31.320 How much more evidence would Mace like?

00:05:34.080 The bank records, thousands of emails, phone records, witnesses, whistleblowers.

00:05:38.980 How about Joe Biden admitting on video how he himself had a man fired for investigating his son's company?

00:05:47.780 Isn't that enough?

00:05:49.040 We watched President Trump impeach twice over absolutely nothing.

00:05:53.560 A phone call for crying out loud in one case while the Democrats joked and laughed about it.

00:05:59.540 It's time for the Republicans to get tough, to get serious and to get into the fight

00:06:04.180 because they're fighting for this country and our republic.

00:06:08.500 Biden's poll numbers have been horrendous this year and getting worse.

00:06:12.540 His vice president isn't doing any better.

00:06:15.240 A new CBS YouGov poll found almost 60% of Americans disapprove of her performance,

00:06:21.460 while just 18% say she makes them think better of the Biden administration.

00:06:26.700 That would be uphill work under any circumstances.

00:06:31.000 The polling, not good.

00:06:32.620 Really bad, in fact.

00:06:34.420 President Trump's legal team is reportedly weighing a new strategy in his fight

00:06:38.500 against the Marxist district attorney Fannie Willis in Georgia.

00:06:42.780 Trump's legal team says now they may call Republican lawmakers

00:06:46.600 who objected to the electoral votes on January 6th

00:06:50.760 to testify as witnesses in his trial.

00:06:53.720 Trump's team said there could be as many as 250 witnesses at the trial next March,

00:07:00.100 147 of them being the lawmakers who objected.

00:07:05.000 Joining us now is Attorney John Eastman.

00:07:07.640 John, it's a delight to have you with us here on The Great America Show.

00:07:10.600 You've done great things for the country.

00:07:12.540 You've represented President Trump courageously and expertly.

00:07:16.720 I'd like your thoughts now about the president's trial strategy,

00:07:20.080 bringing in scores of congressmen and other witnesses.

00:07:24.960 Well, I think it's important.

00:07:27.660 Look, and I'm doing the same strategy in my California bar trial.

00:07:31.180 I mean, their whole case, Fannie Willis' case down in Georgia,

00:07:36.380 Jack Smith's case in Washington, D.C.,

00:07:38.800 my California bar case,

00:07:40.380 the 111 other bar complaints that were filed against lawyers,

00:07:44.080 their whole case is based on the authoritarian premise

00:07:46.900 that the government officials said there was no election illegality and fraud.

00:07:51.440 And if you continue to insist otherwise,

00:07:53.600 whatever evidence you have is false.

00:07:55.920 And therefore, we're going to criminally prosecute you.

00:07:58.400 It is it.

00:07:59.180 As I said, it's an authoritarian move.

00:08:01.140 We're the government.

00:08:02.220 What we say must be true. 0.99

00:08:03.880 And if you dare to question us, we will destroy you. 0.73

00:08:06.220 And so I think the president's strategy of bringing everybody else in

00:08:10.060 who saw the same kind of things we all saw with our own eyes

00:08:13.020 and wanted investigations into it,

00:08:15.820 I think that's a good strategy.

00:08:17.740 Elected officials on the other side of the aisle from the government officials

00:08:21.240 that were saying there's nothing to see here,

00:08:23.420 I think is an important strategy.

00:08:25.460 It strikes me as such because we know everyone listening to us,

00:08:31.160 I'll say nearly everyone,

00:08:33.980 but I would say,

00:08:35.320 but I really believe in my heart it's everyone,

00:08:38.140 understands clearly that there were irregularities,

00:08:41.180 there were anomalies.

00:08:42.160 There were thousands of pages of sworn affidavits

00:08:45.620 that in some cases the courts just said,

00:08:49.220 oh, you know, I credit the government's witness affidavit instead

00:08:54.940 because, you know,

00:08:55.700 he was the one that was in charge and he said everything was fine.

00:08:58.960 So we're just supposed to accept that as gospel truth,

00:09:01.740 despite all the evidence to the contrary.

00:09:03.540 I focused more on the illegality than the fraud,

00:09:07.360 although I think the two go hand in glove.

00:09:09.940 The illegality opened the door for fraud,

00:09:12.440 and we now have proof that in many instances,

00:09:14.440 people walk through that door and engage in significant acts of fraud.

00:09:18.280 But there's no question that elected officials at the county level

00:09:23.240 or the state level or even in the state courts

00:09:25.700 suspended or altered state election law.

00:09:29.680 And the significance of that is Article 2 of the federal constitution

00:09:33.000 quite clearly assigns plenary power to the legislatures of states

00:09:37.720 to direct the manner of choosing presidential electors.

00:09:40.940 And they do that right now by an election code.

00:09:43.880 And if you get rid of signature verification,

00:09:45.540 as happened in Pennsylvania,

00:09:47.660 or weaken it, as happened in Georgia,

00:09:50.020 or you get rid of the voter ID requirements

00:09:52.520 by falsely allowing people to claim they were indefinitely confined,

00:09:55.940 as happened in Wisconsin,

00:09:57.700 or you put up human drop boxes near the college towns,

00:10:02.380 as happened in Wisconsin.

00:10:04.040 Those things were illegal and unconstitutional.

00:10:07.540 And yet that was the backbone of the effort by the Biden campaign

00:10:10.940 and his cohorts in these government official positions

00:10:15.800 to steal the election.

00:10:17.740 There's no doubt in my mind about that.

00:10:21.000 There's none in mine either, to be direct about this.

00:10:25.660 And what is, to me, overwhelming as well

00:10:29.000 is the insistence on the part of, for want of a better expression,

00:10:33.400 the establishment reflex to all of this.

00:10:36.520 And the establishment, I mean, the permanent bureaucracy,

00:10:39.620 the deep state, if you will, of the federal government,

00:10:41.640 the reaction of the establishment state houses around the country,

00:10:48.280 demanding that people not even question,

00:10:52.800 in so much as they watch people in Wayne County, Michigan,

00:10:56.900 putting up boards around the counting room so no one could see.

00:11:02.920 Watching various vote counts from electronic voting machines dip at 2 a.m.

00:11:09.940 simultaneously, or at the worst, concurrently around the country.

00:11:15.200 You know, all of this inexplicable, but at the same time,

00:11:19.180 we found out that we should bear a sackcloth and ashes immediately

00:11:23.840 and be marched off the stage because, my gosh, we're questioning,

00:11:29.680 we're questioning reality simply because it doesn't conform to our sense

00:11:35.180 of what should be there.

00:11:36.580 That is an open, transparent electoral process.

00:11:40.120 Well, that's right.

00:11:41.040 And you had those problems that you identified in Wayne County, Michigan,

00:11:45.380 which is Detroit.

00:11:46.740 You know, we all saw them putting the boards up

00:11:48.700 so people couldn't observe what was going on.

00:11:50.900 They falsely said that there were observers inside the room,

00:11:54.680 except every time an observer left, they would not let them back in.

00:11:58.520 We've got sworn affidavits to that effect.

00:12:00.900 When they left to go to the restroom or go to lunch,

00:12:03.160 they wouldn't let them back in.

00:12:04.460 And so the numbers inside were very skewed.

00:12:06.360 A bigger problem with transparency is the black box contracts,

00:12:10.960 and nobody's allowed to look at the machine software

00:12:13.720 to determine what's actually happening.

00:12:16.620 We've got a couple of examples of that having been done now,

00:12:20.500 one over in Mesa County, Colorado,

00:12:22.820 another short-lived in Fulton County, Georgia,

00:12:26.340 that show there were real problems with what was going on.

00:12:29.300 But they don't want anybody to investigate this.

00:12:31.800 And, you know, they don't want us to exercise our rights as Americans

00:12:34.640 to demand that numbers reconcile.

00:12:37.740 In Wayne County, Michigan, the numbers didn't reconcile.

00:12:41.160 And so two of the four members of the Board of Elections refused to certify.

00:12:44.900 They were then hounded and threatened with their families and at their homes.

00:12:49.540 And they finally said, OK, we will certify if you agree to conduct an audit.

00:12:53.800 The Secretary of State agreed, they signed the certificates,

00:12:57.200 and then she reneged on her promise to conduct an audit. 0.96

00:13:01.260 And so they revoked their certificates.

00:13:03.380 And, you know, then they said, well, you can't revoke your certificates.

00:13:05.600 It's already in.

00:13:06.560 We've certified the election.

00:13:07.860 The numbers still didn't reconcile.

00:13:10.000 In Pennsylvania, here we are two and a half years later,

00:13:12.400 and the numbers of ballots cast compared to those people

00:13:16.800 who are shown in their state system as having voted,

00:13:20.500 they still don't reconcile.

00:13:23.140 You know, so these are the kind of things that we ought to,

00:13:26.200 as free American citizens, have answers to.

00:13:28.580 And they just block us at every turn because they're the government,

00:13:32.020 and we're not supposed to question them.

00:13:34.660 This is, as I said, this is authoritarianism,

00:13:37.100 and we have crossed a Rubicon here

00:13:39.220 that is threatening to permanently put at risk our freedom,

00:13:42.840 not just on the questions about the election,

00:13:44.480 but anything else that the American people want to question

00:13:48.320 about what the direction their government is going,

00:13:50.560 whether it's an open border,

00:13:52.160 whether it's, you know, mandated vaccines that are untested,

00:13:56.880 whether it's transgender men

00:13:58.620 in your teenage daughter's showers and locker rooms,

00:14:01.780 these are the things that the uniparty or the deep state,

00:14:04.980 however you want to call it,

00:14:06.300 have deemed to be the official policy,

00:14:08.860 and nobody's allowed to question it.

00:14:10.700 This is not what a free people should tolerate.

00:14:13.580 What is striking in this moment in 2023

00:14:17.200 with the presidential campaign now underway for 2024

00:14:22.260 is that we're seeing much the same demeanor

00:14:26.000 on the part of the Republican Party,

00:14:27.880 which is one of acceptance,

00:14:30.620 very few comments and statements of any substance,

00:14:35.000 and no sign whatsoever of a strong political organization

00:14:40.160 for the presidency or for any other office,

00:14:43.620 for that matter, around the country.

00:14:45.680 I have watched this over the course of now three elections,

00:14:50.080 three cycles,

00:14:51.220 and the Republican National Committee

00:14:53.840 might as well be a subsidiary of the DNC.

00:14:59.220 It is preposterous that we are watching a party

00:15:02.900 with tens of millions of voters

00:15:05.660 ready to go to the polls

00:15:08.520 a year and whatever it is,

00:15:10.800 three months from now.

00:15:12.740 And the RNC is bereft of leadership,

00:15:17.040 obvious integrity,

00:15:18.180 or any interest in acknowledging

00:15:21.560 that Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee,

00:15:23.860 and as president,

00:15:25.720 as former president of the United States,

00:15:28.880 he is the leader of the Republican Party.

00:15:31.840 And without him,

00:15:33.000 there's no idea for the Republican Party,

00:15:35.380 notwithstanding eight other people

00:15:37.500 who would like to beat him

00:15:39.040 in the primary elections.

00:15:42.620 Lou, I think that's absolutely right.

00:15:44.200 And I think what we have is two parties.

00:15:46.360 We have an elite establishment wing of the party,

00:15:49.460 which is a very small,

00:15:50.740 less than 10% of the party.

00:15:52.540 And then we have the rank and file.

00:15:54.900 And, you know,

00:15:55.320 they are now what we call MAGA,

00:15:57.220 Make America Great Again,

00:15:58.660 Trump Republicans.

00:16:00.260 But that wing of the party,

00:16:02.840 that populist uprising,

00:16:04.100 began a decade before

00:16:05.660 Donald Trump entered the scene.

00:16:09.380 It's an outgrowth of the Tea Party movement,

00:16:12.160 of people that are tired

00:16:13.280 of bankrupting their grandchildren

00:16:14.840 with, you know,

00:16:16.200 excessive pork barrel spending

00:16:18.140 coming out of Washington, D.C.,

00:16:19.940 you know, with no checks on it,

00:16:22.120 no breaks on it,

00:16:23.020 as far as the eye can see.

00:16:24.420 And they are enslaving our grandchildren.

00:16:27.300 And people saw that

00:16:28.220 and started waking up to it.

00:16:29.860 They saw what an open border

00:16:31.620 meant to our sovereignty,

00:16:33.340 to our, you know,

00:16:35.640 standards of living.

00:16:37.220 They saw all that

00:16:38.400 and they started fighting back against it.

00:16:40.020 And the Republicans in charge

00:16:41.240 in Washington

00:16:41.880 in the late 2000s

00:16:44.660 and, you know,

00:16:45.180 up to the 2010 midterm,

00:16:47.700 they saw the Tea Party as a threat

00:16:49.920 rather than an ally

00:16:51.620 and pushing back

00:16:52.820 against the deep state.

00:16:54.080 And at that point,

00:16:54.780 you just have to say,

00:16:55.540 OK, we now have two parties.

00:16:57.100 It's an inside the Beltway

00:16:58.280 or the New York, D.C.

00:16:59.460 Corridor Party,

00:17:00.540 the Uniparty,

00:17:01.400 and we have the rest of the country

00:17:03.600 that are tired

00:17:05.900 of what our leadership

00:17:07.420 in Washington is doing.

00:17:09.240 And it's that

00:17:10.060 that has to be suppressed

00:17:11.500 because it's a threat

00:17:13.720 to their sinecures.

00:17:15.540 It's a threat

00:17:16.120 to their corrupt.

00:17:18.400 I mean, how many people

00:17:19.280 have done nothing

00:17:20.140 in their lives

00:17:20.800 except hold office

00:17:21.720 in Washington

00:17:22.340 that are multimillionaires?

00:17:24.560 I mean, this is insane.

00:17:26.780 And, you know,

00:17:27.200 back in the 18th century,

00:17:28.300 if you got caught

00:17:29.180 with your hand

00:17:29.740 in a cookie jar like that,

00:17:30.880 you would have been

00:17:31.280 run out of town

00:17:32.080 on a rail,

00:17:33.320 tailed and tarred

00:17:34.100 and feathered.

00:17:35.120 And what they are doing

00:17:36.880 is going after the people 0.89

00:17:38.020 that are shining a light

00:17:38.960 on the corruption.

00:17:40.140 And so far,

00:17:41.220 they're succeeding.

00:17:42.580 But I think people

00:17:44.620 are awakening

00:17:46.140 to what's going on.

00:17:47.740 It's a reason

00:17:48.360 why I'm getting

00:17:48.960 so much support

00:17:49.720 in my fight

00:17:50.320 out in the California bar.

00:17:51.580 It's a reason

00:17:52.300 people are stepping up

00:17:54.420 to help all the co-defendants

00:17:56.080 in the crazy Georgia indictment.

00:18:00.500 People have had it.

00:18:01.720 They know how corrupt this is.

00:18:03.300 They know that

00:18:04.600 our criminal law

00:18:05.840 is being twisted

00:18:06.720 in unprecedented ways

00:18:08.360 to target

00:18:09.280 the political opposition.

00:18:11.320 They know that

00:18:12.160 Donald Trump

00:18:13.320 was targeted

00:18:14.040 illegally

00:18:14.920 with FISA warrants

00:18:16.040 to spy on his campaign.

00:18:17.540 They continue

00:18:18.620 to spy on him

00:18:19.580 after he was elected.

00:18:21.200 And they continue

00:18:21.840 to spy on him

00:18:22.800 even after

00:18:23.680 he was inaugurated

00:18:24.760 and became

00:18:25.300 the titular head

00:18:26.080 of the executive branch.

00:18:27.260 This is the greatest

00:18:28.080 political scandal

00:18:29.000 in our nation's history.

00:18:31.280 And they continue

00:18:32.400 to try and shuffle

00:18:33.280 it under the rug.

00:18:34.400 But there are

00:18:34.960 a bunch of us out there

00:18:35.840 that are not going

00:18:36.420 to let it be shuffled

00:18:37.120 under the rug

00:18:37.680 that will speak up

00:18:38.860 as often

00:18:39.460 and as frequently

00:18:40.240 and as boldly

00:18:41.220 and as candidly

00:18:42.140 as we can

00:18:42.940 to try and shine

00:18:44.520 a light

00:18:45.000 on the corruption

00:18:45.940 of what's going on.

00:18:47.540 Well, God bless you

00:18:48.840 for doing so.

00:18:49.880 And we're talking

00:18:50.700 with John Eastman,

00:18:52.160 a former attorney

00:18:53.480 to President Trump.

00:18:55.720 Also a great American

00:18:57.480 as you hear him today

00:18:59.520 as we are talking

00:19:00.680 about these efforts

00:19:03.280 to shut down

00:19:04.420 free speech

00:19:04.960 in this country,

00:19:06.140 to squelch

00:19:07.360 the candidacy

00:19:08.780 of President Trump

00:19:10.440 for the election

00:19:11.700 in 2024.

00:19:13.220 And by the way,

00:19:13.900 that scandal

00:19:14.720 that John Eastman

00:19:15.980 is talking about,

00:19:16.840 ladies and gentlemen,

00:19:17.820 right now,

00:19:18.600 we're in the eighth year

00:19:19.780 of the political persecution

00:19:21.220 of President Donald Trump.

00:19:24.000 We're coming right back

00:19:25.000 with John Eastman.

00:19:25.960 We're going to talk

00:19:26.540 about the situation

00:19:27.540 in Georgia,

00:19:28.600 the special counsel,

00:19:29.500 and we're going

00:19:30.100 to talk about

00:19:31.040 the left's efforts

00:19:32.880 to shut down

00:19:34.580 John Eastman's speech

00:19:36.840 and freedom of speech

00:19:38.600 and more

00:19:40.300 when we continue here

00:19:41.640 on The Great America Show.

00:19:42.620 We'll be right back.

00:19:43.300 We are back

00:19:50.360 with John Eastman.

00:19:51.680 John, let's turn

00:19:52.660 to the president's

00:19:53.640 situation now.

00:19:55.220 Under indictment,

00:19:56.120 four indictments,

00:19:57.120 I've lost track

00:19:58.380 of the number of charges.

00:19:59.520 I know that if he were

00:20:00.520 convicted of all of them,

00:20:01.640 it would amount

00:20:02.080 to 700 years.

00:20:04.560 And I'm sure

00:20:05.600 that the Marxist Dems

00:20:06.880 wouldn't be satisfied

00:20:07.880 with that,

00:20:08.540 even if that were

00:20:09.420 to be the result

00:20:11.180 of it all.

00:20:11.760 give us your assessment

00:20:13.600 of what is going

00:20:14.520 on here.

00:20:16.740 It looks to,

00:20:18.240 I think,

00:20:18.540 most of us

00:20:19.140 as if the Marxist Dems

00:20:21.120 have a monopoly

00:20:22.300 on what they call

00:20:25.220 lawfare,

00:20:26.340 in which they are

00:20:27.060 just trying to destroy

00:20:28.420 everyone they can

00:20:29.580 with these egregiously

00:20:32.220 abusive lawsuits

00:20:33.700 based on

00:20:34.500 really novel,

00:20:36.780 is the kindest way

00:20:37.780 I can say it,

00:20:38.500 novel theories

00:20:39.680 of what is the law.

00:20:41.140 Well, you know,

00:20:42.120 and we don't have to

00:20:43.160 speculate about that.

00:20:44.100 They've said as much.

00:20:45.460 The head of one

00:20:46.700 of these outfits

00:20:47.360 called the 65 Project,

00:20:49.660 this is a group

00:20:50.760 that was funded,

00:20:52.120 well-funded,

00:20:52.920 and created

00:20:54.280 in order to go

00:20:55.080 after all

00:20:56.260 of the attorneys

00:20:57.640 that did anything

00:20:58.620 on behalf

00:20:59.400 of President Trump

00:21:00.260 after the 2020 election,

00:21:01.920 all of the litigations

00:21:02.960 that were filed

00:21:03.540 and what have you.

00:21:04.380 As I understand it,

00:21:05.260 111 complaints

00:21:07.240 for bar discipline,

00:21:08.940 bar disbarment proceedings

00:21:10.440 have been filed.

00:21:11.700 The head of that organization

00:21:12.920 in a very important interview

00:21:14.120 with Axios

00:21:14.900 said,

00:21:15.760 look,

00:21:15.920 our goal here

00:21:16.500 is not just

00:21:17.040 to disbar these people,

00:21:18.700 it's to make them 0.95

00:21:19.420 so toxic

00:21:20.180 in their law firms

00:21:21.160 and in their communities.

00:21:22.620 That right-wing legal talent

00:21:23.960 will never want to take on

00:21:25.420 these election challenges again.

00:21:27.360 In other words,

00:21:27.900 what they're trying to do

00:21:28.680 is clear the path

00:21:29.580 for even further fraud

00:21:30.780 and illegality

00:21:31.560 down in the future

00:21:32.600 and scaring people away

00:21:34.780 from ever taking on

00:21:35.740 those representations

00:21:36.580 for fear of what it'll do

00:21:37.620 to their livelihoods

00:21:38.560 and their families.

00:21:39.900 And that's why

00:21:40.960 I'm fighting against it so hard

00:21:42.560 because this is a threat

00:21:44.400 not just to those of us

00:21:46.060 that were trying

00:21:47.280 to have these serious issues

00:21:50.080 litigated

00:21:50.680 but it's a very threat

00:21:52.220 to our adversarial

00:21:53.100 system of justice.

00:21:54.260 If you bar one side

00:21:55.980 from having representation,

00:21:57.760 you have destroyed

00:21:58.380 the notion

00:21:58.880 of adversarial system

00:22:00.420 of justice

00:22:01.020 and you give the other side

00:22:03.200 of carte blanche

00:22:03.900 to do whatever they want.

00:22:05.440 The same thing

00:22:06.120 is now moved

00:22:07.100 into the criminal arena

00:22:08.240 with very creative

00:22:10.000 interpretations

00:22:10.780 of federal criminal law

00:22:12.180 or state criminal law

00:22:13.680 in order to brand

00:22:15.160 political opponents

00:22:16.120 as if they are criminals

00:22:17.300 for doing the same

00:22:18.860 kind of things

00:22:19.560 that the Democrats

00:22:20.560 did in 2000

00:22:21.740 and 2004

00:22:22.740 and 2016

00:22:24.020 but all of a sudden

00:22:25.500 now it's criminal.

00:22:27.500 The guy that they brought in,

00:22:29.920 Jack Smith

00:22:30.380 at the federal level,

00:22:31.920 he was the one

00:22:32.840 that went after

00:22:33.420 the governor of Virginia

00:22:34.480 on a very creative

00:22:35.900 use of federal

00:22:37.760 criminal statutes

00:22:38.740 and the Supreme Court

00:22:39.900 slapped him down

00:22:40.740 nine to zero.

00:22:42.260 That's pretty rare

00:22:43.300 on hotly contentious issues

00:22:45.960 that you get

00:22:46.480 a unanimous decision.

00:22:47.600 But they brought him

00:22:49.040 in anyway.

00:22:50.600 It's like the Al Gore

00:22:52.740 team in 2000

00:22:54.500 bringing in Richard Daley

00:22:55.820 to head the efforts

00:22:57.100 down there.

00:22:58.020 Send a strong message.

00:22:59.920 We're going to steal this

00:23:00.840 if we need to.

00:23:01.660 Bringing Jack Smith in

00:23:02.760 is we're going to do

00:23:04.200 whatever it takes

00:23:05.300 to find a law,

00:23:07.420 to distort a law,

00:23:08.360 to stretch a law

00:23:09.200 in order to treat this

00:23:10.240 as if it's a criminal matter.

00:23:11.400 One of the lawyers

00:23:13.100 on my team

00:23:13.820 is Harvey Silverglate

00:23:14.980 who 15 years ago

00:23:16.360 published a very important book

00:23:18.100 called Three Felonies a Day,

00:23:20.100 How the Feds Target the Innocent.

00:23:22.780 We've got so many

00:23:23.900 vague criminal statutes

00:23:25.040 on the books

00:23:25.660 that if they want

00:23:27.160 to be creative

00:23:28.000 and distort

00:23:29.480 what the meaning

00:23:30.200 of the statute is,

00:23:31.360 any one of us

00:23:32.180 can be charged

00:23:32.780 with three felonies a day.

00:23:34.140 That's the premise

00:23:34.860 of Harvey's book

00:23:35.620 and we're seeing it

00:23:36.420 play out in live

00:23:37.980 real time here.

00:23:39.100 We are.

00:23:40.620 And we're also watching

00:23:42.400 a lot of victims

00:23:43.420 being persecuted

00:23:46.500 is the only word

00:23:47.520 I can think of,

00:23:49.200 hounded, harassed,

00:23:51.500 and every hour

00:23:53.880 the persecution

00:23:55.020 results in another fee

00:23:56.660 for an attorney

00:23:57.620 or a scalp,

00:24:00.980 a notch

00:24:02.220 for the prosecutors.

00:24:04.580 And it's really,

00:24:05.940 it's obscene

00:24:06.640 what is happening.

00:24:07.460 You can't get a fair choice.

00:24:08.480 I say this

00:24:09.940 almost daily.

00:24:11.500 No American 1.00

00:24:12.480 can get

00:24:13.260 a fair trial

00:24:14.280 in the United States

00:24:15.140 of America right now.

00:24:16.280 It's so bad.

00:24:17.700 Lawfare

00:24:18.260 is not about

00:24:19.720 any,

00:24:20.300 it has nothing

00:24:20.800 to do with justice.

00:24:21.680 The Justice Department

00:24:22.520 has nothing to do

00:24:23.380 with justice.

00:24:24.280 It is about enforcing

00:24:25.760 the left-wing

00:24:27.060 Marxist agenda

00:24:29.140 and enforcing it

00:24:31.360 with all the blood

00:24:33.760 they can manage

00:24:35.220 to create

00:24:36.680 hate and pain.

00:24:38.320 It's a horrible moment

00:24:40.100 in American history

00:24:41.060 and I think

00:24:41.860 most people

00:24:42.360 are oblivious to it.

00:24:44.260 Well,

00:24:44.320 and even if they

00:24:44.880 don't get the scalp

00:24:45.760 at the end of the day

00:24:46.600 and one hopes

00:24:47.320 at the end of the day

00:24:48.800 that there's at least

00:24:49.500 one person

00:24:50.060 on that D.C. jury

00:24:51.120 or that Fulton County,

00:24:52.520 Georgia jury

00:24:53.200 that will understand

00:24:54.360 what's going on

00:24:55.160 and refuse to vote

00:24:56.060 to convict

00:24:56.700 or that the judge

00:24:58.260 in my California

00:24:58.980 bar trial

00:24:59.720 will see

00:25:00.460 and faithfully

00:25:01.140 apply the law.

00:25:01.980 But even if

00:25:03.280 they don't get

00:25:03.840 the scalp,

00:25:04.540 the costs imposed

00:25:05.720 on the people

00:25:06.340 that are the targets

00:25:07.200 of this is immense.

00:25:08.560 I mean,

00:25:08.760 I've already incurred

00:25:10.560 over a million dollars

00:25:11.620 in legal fees

00:25:12.480 defending in 14

00:25:14.800 different actions

00:25:16.060 and counting.

00:25:18.700 You know,

00:25:19.200 we had one

00:25:19.800 filed out of

00:25:20.760 North Carolina

00:25:21.600 up in D.C.

00:25:23.180 I was the lead

00:25:24.380 defendant named in it.

00:25:25.560 Why, I don't know.

00:25:26.400 But along with

00:25:27.340 Rudy Giuliani

00:25:28.200 and, you know,

00:25:30.220 several of the members

00:25:31.220 of Trump's family

00:25:32.140 and Fox News

00:25:33.260 and several Fox commentators

00:25:34.860 and also Mark Zuckerberg.

00:25:36.560 I think the guy

00:25:37.100 didn't get the memo

00:25:38.180 on which side

00:25:38.780 of this fight

00:25:39.240 he was on.

00:25:40.360 But one of the allegations

00:25:41.660 they made against me

00:25:43.000 was that I was

00:25:43.820 a billionaire oligarch

00:25:45.180 trying to undermine democracy.

00:25:47.600 My wife kind of laughed.

00:25:48.680 Are you,

00:25:48.880 you got to fund someplace

00:25:49.900 you're hiding from me?

00:25:51.260 So, but, but, you know,

00:25:52.840 what they're trying to do

00:25:53.940 is bankrupt us

00:25:55.080 so that we will not

00:25:56.720 and other,

00:25:57.660 more importantly,

00:25:58.200 other people

00:25:58.820 will not stand up

00:25:59.840 to fight against

00:26:00.560 this tyranny.

00:26:01.900 And luckily,

00:26:02.900 I've got a high enough

00:26:04.160 profile that people

00:26:05.300 are helping

00:26:05.800 with my legal defense fund.

00:26:07.500 And if you don't mind,

00:26:08.180 I'll give that out.

00:26:09.020 It's give,

00:26:09.660 give, send, go.com

00:26:12.420 slash Eastman.

00:26:13.960 And the benefit

00:26:14.840 of that site

00:26:15.560 was twofold.

00:26:16.380 One, unlike

00:26:17.500 GoFundMe,

00:26:19.300 it wouldn't have canceled me,

00:26:20.380 you know,

00:26:20.700 two minutes into this thing.

00:26:22.040 But two,

00:26:22.760 people can also send prayers

00:26:24.220 to me and my family

00:26:25.260 through that site.

00:26:26.320 My wife and I read them

00:26:27.560 and they're heartwarming.

00:26:28.900 Most of them are.

00:26:29.660 Some people, you know, 0.99

00:26:30.460 I pray you got rotten hell. 0.99

00:26:31.980 You know, 0.99

00:26:32.180 they kind of distort

00:26:33.520 the very notion of prayer.

00:26:36.040 But, but most of the people

00:26:37.160 on there

00:26:37.680 have sent wonderfully

00:26:38.760 heartwarming notes

00:26:40.080 of support

00:26:40.720 and those,

00:26:41.520 and those help

00:26:42.140 in the,

00:26:42.900 in the more troubling moments

00:26:44.020 we deal with.

00:26:44.620 But the financial resource,

00:26:46.020 or their goal

00:26:46.540 is to drain

00:26:47.280 our financial resources,

00:26:48.800 our retirement,

00:26:50.080 and send a message

00:26:50.900 that how dare you

00:26:52.020 have challenged us,

00:26:53.160 the government,

00:26:53.640 and how dare anybody else

00:26:56.280 step up to challenge as well.

00:26:58.880 We'll do to you

00:26:59.880 what we're doing to Eastman.

00:27:01.120 And they're,

00:27:01.600 and they're trying to silence

00:27:02.860 the political right,

00:27:04.520 the conservative legal movement right.

00:27:06.780 They're trying to silence people

00:27:08.240 so that they have a free hand

00:27:09.820 to do whatever they want

00:27:11.220 with activist judges unanswered.

00:27:14.360 And I'm not willing

00:27:15.080 to let that happen.

00:27:15.960 And I know you're not either, Lou,

00:27:17.280 and I suspect a good portion

00:27:18.520 of your audience

00:27:19.160 is not either.

00:27:20.340 We need to fight this

00:27:21.180 with everything we've got.

00:27:23.020 Absolutely.

00:27:24.340 And give us the address again.

00:27:28.300 GiveSendGo.com

00:27:29.620 slash Eastman.

00:27:31.440 And we also use that site

00:27:33.100 to kind of post

00:27:33.920 insightful articles

00:27:35.580 that are talking about

00:27:36.580 what's going on.

00:27:37.500 We use it as kind of an update.

00:27:39.480 And then there's a new site

00:27:40.860 that's been created

00:27:41.760 by a professional operation

00:27:43.160 that I have.

00:27:43.840 I'm sorry,

00:27:44.520 I can't remember the name of it.

00:27:45.400 It may be John Eastman

00:27:46.160 Legal Defense Fund as well.

00:27:48.460 But the give, send, go

00:27:49.640 or just Google

00:27:50.440 John Eastman Legal Defense Fund

00:27:52.020 and you'll find it.

00:27:53.300 And those monies go directly

00:27:54.760 into the fund

00:27:56.480 that helps pay the legal fees.

00:27:58.640 And as I say,

00:28:00.200 they're mounting very quickly.

00:28:02.760 The lawyers down in Georgia,

00:28:04.860 most of the month

00:28:05.560 that I talked to

00:28:06.240 wouldn't even touch this

00:28:07.100 without a million dollars up front.

00:28:08.920 These are the kind of things

00:28:09.820 we're dealing with.

00:28:10.860 And, you know,

00:28:12.220 I've at least got the ability

00:28:14.720 to make a nationwide pitch

00:28:16.420 to help.

00:28:17.680 You know,

00:28:17.960 I feel so sorry for the people

00:28:19.400 like some of these electors

00:28:20.540 who are just ordinary citizens

00:28:22.320 that, you know,

00:28:23.520 are now implicated,

00:28:24.680 like the electors up in Michigan

00:28:26.320 who have been criminally charged

00:28:27.500 for doing nothing different

00:28:28.940 than John Kennedy's electors

00:28:30.560 did in Hawaii in 1960.

00:28:33.560 So they had a telethon last week.

00:28:35.660 I did a five-minute appearance

00:28:37.200 on it to help them.

00:28:38.100 But people need help

00:28:39.800 to pay their legal,

00:28:41.080 their significant legal expenses

00:28:42.600 as we try and push back

00:28:44.040 against this lawfare.

00:28:45.180 And you're absolutely right.

00:28:46.080 It's lawfare.

00:28:47.000 It's warfare,

00:28:48.340 manipulating

00:28:48.980 and abusing

00:28:50.060 the system of law

00:28:51.140 that has been

00:28:51.900 such a great mainstay

00:28:53.140 in our freedom

00:28:53.860 in this country.

00:28:54.700 And, you know,

00:28:55.700 and a model

00:28:56.300 for around the world.

00:28:57.080 And they are destroying it.

00:28:58.440 We're going to continue

00:29:00.420 our conversation

00:29:01.280 with John Eastman

00:29:02.280 and talk about

00:29:04.340 in some detail

00:29:05.520 what is happening

00:29:06.360 in the state of California.

00:29:08.480 The bar there

00:29:10.060 has brought

00:29:10.460 a disciplinary action

00:29:11.700 against him.

00:29:13.100 And ladies and gentlemen,

00:29:13.740 I want you to know

00:29:14.440 when John is describing

00:29:15.540 what's happening

00:29:16.260 to attorneys in this country,

00:29:18.340 lawyers who would,

00:29:20.100 not that their philosophy

00:29:21.820 or their ideology

00:29:22.720 or their party

00:29:23.440 is conservative

00:29:24.300 or Republican,

00:29:25.240 but just simply,

00:29:27.080 just simply representing

00:29:28.800 anyone who is on

00:29:31.180 the side of Trump,

00:29:32.680 who is a conservative,

00:29:33.920 who is a Republican,

00:29:36.440 is enough

00:29:37.160 for a major law firm.

00:29:38.980 Big law won't put up

00:29:40.900 with it in this country.

00:29:42.180 And it is a sure end

00:29:44.040 to careers in big law

00:29:46.960 if they do.

00:29:48.380 It is really quite

00:29:49.660 a moment in history.

00:29:51.580 And John is going

00:29:52.260 to explain more of it

00:29:53.300 to us as we go forward.

00:29:54.500 But I want to tell you

00:29:55.300 it was one who has

00:29:56.020 witnessed it up close

00:29:58.660 and personal.

00:29:59.840 It is absolutely barbaric.

00:30:04.160 It is beyond anything

00:30:07.120 that one would have imagined

00:30:08.440 could happen in America.

00:30:09.900 We're talking with

00:30:10.540 John Eastman.

00:30:11.520 Stay with us.

00:30:12.200 We'll be right back

00:30:13.060 after these quick messages.

00:30:20.000 We're back.

00:30:21.000 We're talking with

00:30:21.780 attorney John Eastman.

00:30:23.160 And John is facing

00:30:24.860 an effort to discipline him

00:30:28.060 by the California Bar Association,

00:30:30.100 as I understand it.

00:30:32.620 John, let's get to,

00:30:34.360 I think, everyone.

00:30:35.580 And certainly,

00:30:36.160 I would appreciate

00:30:37.120 telling us

00:30:38.600 how long this disciplinary action

00:30:40.900 has been going on

00:30:42.080 against you.

00:30:42.740 Well, it began

00:30:44.320 with a complaint

00:30:45.400 that was filed

00:30:46.200 by this hyper-partisan group,

00:30:47.820 States United Democracy Center,

00:30:50.120 who, you know,

00:30:51.660 we're never a client,

00:30:52.600 we're never opposing counsel,

00:30:53.860 we're never involved

00:30:54.540 in any litigation

00:30:55.380 I was ever involved in,

00:30:56.580 but they just filed

00:30:57.740 a complaint against me

00:30:58.740 in October of 2021,

00:31:01.140 so almost two years ago.

00:31:03.120 The Bar,

00:31:03.880 unbeknownst to me,

00:31:05.100 began investigating that.

00:31:06.480 They publicly disclosed

00:31:07.980 their investigation

00:31:09.020 in March of 2022

00:31:10.880 under a theory that,

00:31:14.840 because investigations

00:31:16.020 are supposed to be confidential

00:31:17.380 until charges are filed,

00:31:19.060 and they disclosed it anyway

00:31:20.680 on the ground

00:31:22.240 that I was a threat

00:31:23.200 to the public,

00:31:24.600 which is rather extraordinary.

00:31:27.140 And then in May,

00:31:29.580 they sent me

00:31:30.180 the most extraordinary letter,

00:31:32.380 38 single-spaced,

00:31:34.620 38 pages, single-spaced,

00:31:36.440 demanding essentially

00:31:37.880 that I provide

00:31:38.780 every bit of evidence

00:31:39.740 I had for every statement

00:31:41.120 I'd ever made,

00:31:42.400 every brief I ever filed,

00:31:44.240 in any way related

00:31:45.480 to the 2020 election.

00:31:47.540 And I spent

00:31:48.880 three to four months

00:31:50.220 comprehensively responding

00:31:52.460 to that.

00:31:53.480 They had claimed

00:31:54.360 I had no evidence

00:31:55.340 of illegality or fraud

00:31:57.180 or no evidence

00:31:58.940 to base my advice

00:32:00.020 to the vice president,

00:32:01.180 what have you.

00:32:02.800 And I, you know,

00:32:03.900 I comprehensively responded.

00:32:05.220 I took them at their word

00:32:06.680 that if I had an answer

00:32:08.160 for everything,

00:32:09.280 that there would be

00:32:10.120 no charges filed

00:32:10.980 as there should not have been.

00:32:12.640 That didn't faze them.

00:32:14.160 They then,

00:32:14.660 in January of 2023,

00:32:18.240 filed a,

00:32:19.460 hmm,

00:32:20.180 I forget how many pages it was,

00:32:21.920 11 counts,

00:32:23.100 85 paragraphs,

00:32:24.500 something like that,

00:32:25.860 notice of disciplinary charges.

00:32:28.100 And almost every single paragraph

00:32:29.960 had false statements in it.

00:32:32.000 One of them, for example,

00:32:33.040 said Eastman claimed

00:32:34.540 in his speech

00:32:35.360 on the Ellipse

00:32:35.980 on January 6th

00:32:37.540 that dead people voted.

00:32:38.920 That was,

00:32:39.640 that was false

00:32:40.420 and he knew it to be false

00:32:41.560 because as the Attorney General

00:32:42.780 of Michigan has said,

00:32:43.680 only 1,500 dead people voted.

00:32:45.380 In other words,

00:32:46.300 in the very same paragraph,

00:32:47.600 they accused me

00:32:48.240 of making a false statement.

00:32:49.980 They acknowledged

00:32:50.800 that the statement was true.

00:32:52.820 This,

00:32:53.080 this,

00:32:53.380 this goes on

00:32:54.600 in paragraph

00:32:54.980 after paragraph

00:32:55.760 after paragraph.

00:32:56.580 and then

00:32:58.200 we filed

00:32:59.880 112 page response

00:33:02.400 to that

00:33:03.740 and it didn't faze them.

00:33:05.340 Trial was scheduled

00:33:06.120 in May

00:33:07.240 and they realized,

00:33:08.220 you know,

00:33:08.600 the breadth.

00:33:09.300 I mean,

00:33:09.480 they want me basically

00:33:10.540 not just to defend

00:33:12.200 everything I did,

00:33:13.400 but to defend everything

00:33:14.740 any other lawyer

00:33:15.760 working in other states

00:33:17.160 on behalf of President Trump

00:33:18.460 and states I had nothing

00:33:19.440 to do with did.

00:33:20.840 And so

00:33:21.180 they,

00:33:22.300 they,

00:33:22.540 they got a delay

00:33:23.600 until June.

00:33:25.000 We had two weeks

00:33:25.740 of trial in June,

00:33:27.220 an additional week

00:33:28.640 of trial in August.

00:33:30.300 And we're now

00:33:31.780 in the second week

00:33:32.820 of trial in September

00:33:34.140 and it's likely

00:33:35.360 we're going to have

00:33:36.280 at least another week.

00:33:38.640 So six or seven

00:33:40.120 maybe weeks

00:33:40.960 of trial

00:33:42.100 is,

00:33:43.160 you know,

00:33:43.640 in a bar proceeding.

00:33:45.460 And,

00:33:46.140 you know,

00:33:46.320 of course,

00:33:46.680 you know,

00:33:46.940 I've got teams

00:33:47.720 of lawyers,

00:33:48.500 I've got,

00:33:49.020 you know,

00:33:49.600 courtroom technicians,

00:33:50.800 I got all this stuff,

00:33:52.120 you know,

00:33:52.440 that are,

00:33:53.060 you know,

00:33:53.340 charged by the hour.

00:33:55.320 I mean,

00:33:55.540 you can imagine

00:33:56.180 the fees that are

00:33:57.100 getting racked up.

00:33:58.200 And you can also

00:33:58.880 imagine the fees

00:33:59.780 that are being incurred

00:34:00.980 on the other side

00:34:01.880 because they've got,

00:34:03.040 we have no idea

00:34:03.880 how deep their bench is

00:34:05.760 and we know for a fact

00:34:07.540 that some of the

00:34:08.580 major law firms

00:34:09.640 are providing assistance,

00:34:10.980 whether they're being

00:34:11.720 charged for that

00:34:12.980 or paid for that

00:34:14.460 or just doing it,

00:34:15.280 you know,

00:34:15.660 pro bono,

00:34:16.180 we don't know.

00:34:17.880 But,

00:34:17.980 you know,

00:34:19.480 the amount of money

00:34:21.020 they're spending

00:34:21.660 to try and say

00:34:23.020 that my claims

00:34:24.160 about election

00:34:25.360 and legality

00:34:26.080 are something

00:34:26.600 no reasonable attorney

00:34:27.800 would have ever brought

00:34:28.680 and therefore

00:34:30.440 he should be disbarred.

00:34:33.060 I mean,

00:34:33.340 just,

00:34:33.680 I mean,

00:34:33.840 think about that.

00:34:34.680 This is unprecedented

00:34:36.040 and yet that's what

00:34:37.920 we're dealing with.

00:34:39.600 It's just so

00:34:41.720 outside the bounds

00:34:44.300 of even just basic logic,

00:34:46.360 common sense

00:34:47.060 and common decency

00:34:48.800 that this would be happening

00:34:50.400 in this country.

00:34:52.200 California,

00:34:52.820 I will admit,

00:34:53.580 is often considered

00:34:54.660 a little different part

00:34:56.320 of the country

00:34:56.920 than the rest,

00:34:58.720 but it's the California bar,

00:35:01.820 right?

00:35:02.580 It's the California bar.

00:35:03.700 It's fairly unique.

00:35:04.480 It has a dedicated bar court

00:35:06.540 unlike most bars

00:35:08.100 that just have panels 0.68

00:35:09.000 of local attorneys

00:35:10.360 that sit in assessment

00:35:11.420 of disciplinary charges.

00:35:13.500 And look,

00:35:13.880 most times the bars

00:35:15.300 deal with improper relationships

00:35:18.420 between attorney and client

00:35:19.900 or attorneys

00:35:20.760 who have,

00:35:22.300 you know,

00:35:24.300 tapped into their client trust funds

00:35:26.080 or other kind of financial things.

00:35:28.660 And those things

00:35:29.440 usually get resolved

00:35:30.420 without a trial

00:35:31.880 or if it goes to trial,

00:35:33.040 it's usually a day or two.

00:35:34.480 But the notion

00:35:35.760 that we're going to be

00:35:37.180 six or seven weeks

00:35:38.500 in full trial

00:35:40.060 on these charges,

00:35:43.760 you know,

00:35:44.700 even if I am exonerated

00:35:46.900 at the end of the day,

00:35:48.320 as I think any faithful application

00:35:50.980 of the law would require,

00:35:53.100 even if that,

00:35:54.180 I mean,

00:35:54.400 the amount of money

00:35:55.100 that I will have devoted

00:35:56.600 to defending my bar license

00:35:58.160 is just insane.

00:36:00.200 And it doesn't

00:36:02.320 in any way

00:36:03.360 assure you

00:36:04.400 that there won't be one

00:36:05.700 to follow on the heels of this.

00:36:08.480 Well,

00:36:08.720 it could be persecution

00:36:10.240 in perpetuity.

00:36:11.480 It could be.

00:36:12.480 It could be.

00:36:13.200 And my wife and I,

00:36:14.360 you know,

00:36:14.920 there have been ups and downs

00:36:16.200 on this two and a half year

00:36:17.280 rollercoaster ride,

00:36:18.220 I got to tell you.

00:36:18.940 But after one of the

00:36:20.540 particularly low moments,

00:36:21.660 my wife and I

00:36:22.580 kind of woke up together

00:36:24.020 one morning

00:36:24.580 and come to the realization

00:36:26.480 that my whole life,

00:36:28.860 my whole career,

00:36:29.700 my whole devotion

00:36:30.400 to constitutional law,

00:36:31.680 my teaching constitutional law,

00:36:34.080 my participating

00:36:35.600 in more than 200 cases

00:36:37.240 before the Supreme Court

00:36:38.080 of the United States,

00:36:38.820 my serving as a dean

00:36:39.860 of a law school

00:36:41.100 has probably equipped me

00:36:43.080 better than almost

00:36:43.960 anybody else in the country

00:36:45.120 to deal with these things

00:36:46.320 and to confront them head on.

00:36:48.640 And my fortitude

00:36:51.600 kind of equips me

00:36:53.140 to want to do that as well.

00:36:55.100 So, you know,

00:36:56.500 this is the position

00:36:57.900 I've been thrust into.

00:36:59.560 And I hope and pray

00:37:01.480 that I'm up to the task,

00:37:03.240 but we're certainly

00:37:03.780 giving it our best.

00:37:05.360 It is a absolute slur

00:37:07.480 that these people

00:37:09.200 would be conducting themselves

00:37:10.820 that way

00:37:11.300 in the California Bar Association.

00:37:13.500 Is there not,

00:37:14.440 is there not an authority

00:37:16.480 of some sort

00:37:17.620 that exists

00:37:18.260 in our legal system

00:37:19.660 that says,

00:37:21.320 we were watched

00:37:22.860 a president

00:37:23.540 persecuted for eight years

00:37:25.500 without any finding

00:37:26.620 of wrongdoing

00:37:27.440 on any level,

00:37:29.500 who is being persecuted

00:37:31.300 by local

00:37:34.960 and state prosecutors

00:37:36.840 for obvious

00:37:37.860 partisan purposes?

00:37:40.780 Is there not

00:37:41.980 someone decent enough

00:37:44.260 and strong enough

00:37:45.720 and who has

00:37:47.460 the respect

00:37:48.440 of enough people

00:37:49.120 to stand up,

00:37:50.120 whether it's

00:37:50.580 Chief Justice John Roberts,

00:37:52.000 whether it is

00:37:52.860 the deans

00:37:54.360 of law schools

00:37:55.260 around the country,

00:37:56.400 whether it is

00:37:57.280 a corporate leader,

00:38:01.560 a religious leader

00:38:02.900 who can say,

00:38:03.800 this has to stop.

00:38:06.640 This is madness.

00:38:08.100 This is a nation

00:38:09.180 that is in the midst

00:38:10.220 of an emotional

00:38:11.160 and psychological break.

00:38:14.040 It's got to stop.

00:38:16.040 Is there such a person?

00:38:17.660 It does have to stop.

00:38:18.720 One of the things

00:38:19.240 we've learned

00:38:19.700 in the past

00:38:20.400 is that the only

00:38:21.380 way it stops

00:38:22.800 is that the shoe

00:38:23.820 ends up on the other foot.

00:38:25.520 The independent prosecutor

00:38:26.700 statute that was deployed

00:38:28.240 against Ronald Reagan

00:38:29.220 and so many of his aides

00:38:30.680 in the 1980s,

00:38:32.580 that was allowed

00:38:33.520 to expire

00:38:34.340 after it ended up

00:38:35.500 being deployed

00:38:36.040 against Bill Clinton

00:38:36.920 as well.

00:38:38.840 What we're seeing now

00:38:40.460 will stop

00:38:41.340 if Republicans

00:38:42.660 get back in power

00:38:43.780 and decide to do

00:38:44.940 the same things

00:38:45.820 to the other side

00:38:46.980 and then that will stop.

00:38:48.620 But the left,

00:38:49.400 if they in fact

00:38:51.180 stole the election

00:38:51.940 in 2020,

00:38:52.800 as I certainly believe,

00:38:55.220 they're not worried

00:38:56.920 about the shoe

00:38:57.700 being on the other foot

00:38:59.000 because they think

00:38:59.720 they've managed

00:39:00.760 to stop it ever

00:39:01.640 from happening that way.

00:39:03.280 And that's why

00:39:04.300 I'm fighting so hard.

00:39:05.220 If that's true,

00:39:06.640 then we no longer

00:39:07.440 control the direction

00:39:08.260 of our government

00:39:08.880 and the very foundational

00:39:10.660 cornerstone

00:39:11.620 of our republic,

00:39:14.040 the consent

00:39:14.560 of the governed

00:39:15.200 is gone.

00:39:16.360 We will cease

00:39:17.180 to be citizens

00:39:18.060 in a free republic

00:39:20.000 and we'll become

00:39:21.120 subjects of an everly,

00:39:22.600 increasingly,

00:39:23.340 tyrannical government.

00:39:24.620 That's what the fight

00:39:25.480 is about.

00:39:26.040 It's much bigger

00:39:26.720 than my bar license

00:39:27.740 or even President Trump.

00:39:29.860 It is about

00:39:30.680 whether we're going

00:39:31.240 to remain a free people

00:39:32.200 or not.

00:39:33.100 And that's why

00:39:33.860 so many people

00:39:35.300 around the country

00:39:36.000 are stepping up

00:39:36.700 to support me

00:39:37.480 and supporting

00:39:38.260 President Trump.

00:39:39.200 So many people

00:39:40.060 around the country

00:39:40.740 in their hometowns

00:39:41.940 are starting

00:39:42.880 to have eyes

00:39:43.660 on their local

00:39:44.400 election officials

00:39:45.240 to at least stop

00:39:46.480 some of the illegality

00:39:47.680 that we saw go on

00:39:49.560 in the last election.

00:39:51.120 But I don't know

00:39:52.720 whether it will be enough.

00:39:54.180 These habits,

00:39:56.400 these illegalities

00:39:57.480 are so well entrenched now.

00:39:59.080 But we're doing

00:39:59.920 what we can

00:40:00.460 to expose them

00:40:01.280 and hopefully

00:40:01.720 that will be enough

00:40:02.540 to secure

00:40:03.200 and restore

00:40:04.540 free systems

00:40:05.600 of election

00:40:06.120 and therefore

00:40:06.960 free government

00:40:07.620 in this country.

00:40:09.100 Free government

00:40:10.060 in this country.

00:40:11.400 John Eastman,

00:40:12.180 I hate to be the one

00:40:13.080 to say this

00:40:13.800 at the conclusion

00:40:14.920 of our fascinating

00:40:16.500 conversation here.

00:40:19.600 You've illuminated

00:40:21.000 so much for us

00:40:21.900 and we're in your debt

00:40:23.580 for doing so.

00:40:25.000 But I have to be

00:40:26.560 straightforward

00:40:26.900 with this audience.

00:40:28.520 I don't want anyone

00:40:29.400 to forget

00:40:29.960 that every agency

00:40:31.520 of every department

00:40:33.000 in the federal government

00:40:34.160 is under the control

00:40:35.600 of the Marxist Dems.

00:40:37.240 This administration

00:40:38.000 has brought in

00:40:38.780 what any of the estimates

00:40:41.240 range anywhere

00:40:41.800 from 8 to 15 million

00:40:43.560 illegal immigrants

00:40:45.120 in the course

00:40:45.740 of two and a half years.

00:40:47.420 We've never seen

00:40:47.980 anything like this.

00:40:49.520 The insistence

00:40:50.900 on vaccine,

00:40:51.760 they're already

00:40:52.300 started the drumbeat

00:40:53.740 for mandatory vaccinations

00:40:55.740 that will surely come

00:40:57.960 if they can find

00:40:59.000 even the suggestion,

00:41:02.000 the intimation

00:41:02.740 that the virus

00:41:04.080 is upon us again.

00:41:06.520 Mandatory masking,

00:41:07.980 which everyone

00:41:08.920 has debunked

00:41:09.920 as absolutely useless. 0.92

00:41:13.460 It's a government 1.00

00:41:15.720 that is absolutely

00:41:17.260 under the control

00:41:18.020 of the Marxist Dems,

00:41:19.220 the authoritarian left,

00:41:21.220 the Marxist Dems,

00:41:22.740 and that's what

00:41:23.200 this party has become.

00:41:24.940 I just want to say

00:41:26.540 we need to help

00:41:28.320 John Eastman

00:41:29.220 and his defense fund.

00:41:30.400 The address again

00:41:33.080 is

00:41:33.380 givessingo.com

00:41:36.260 slash

00:41:37.380 Eastman

00:41:38.140 and we're going

00:41:38.980 to put that up

00:41:39.540 on the website.

00:41:40.080 We'll have it there

00:41:40.980 and we'll be talking

00:41:41.900 about that

00:41:42.660 legal defense fund

00:41:43.960 for John Eastman

00:41:44.800 for days to come.

00:41:47.120 John Eastman,

00:41:47.620 thanks so much

00:41:48.120 for being with us.

00:41:51.280 and prevail

00:41:52.480 in this great fight

00:41:53.620 for yourself

00:41:54.540 and the country.

00:41:56.140 Thank you, Lou.

00:41:56.680 Thanks for having me on

00:41:58.060 the great work you do.

00:42:00.520 former attorney

00:42:01.400 to President Trump,

00:42:02.800 also one of the 19

00:42:04.040 indicted by the Marxist

00:42:05.580 District Attorney

00:42:06.400 Fannie Willis.

00:42:07.720 Again,

00:42:08.380 you can help John

00:42:09.440 in his legal fight

00:42:10.540 by going to

00:42:11.740 givessingo.com

00:42:14.040 slash Eastman.

00:42:15.960 That's donating

00:42:17.000 to givessingo.com

00:42:19.600 slash Eastman.
